House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Tito’s Handmade) is ostensibly a Catholic, but she doesn’t exactly wear her religion on her sleeve. Her most famous connection with her Church is her public rejection of its teaching on life issues, and her determination to protect and strengthen the “right” to commit what the ecclesiastical authorities she claims to respect say is murder. But Pelosi doesn’t hesitate to invoke her religion when it seems useful to her to do so, that is, when she thinks it can help her advance her far-Left agenda. On Tuesday, she pulled out the Gospel of Matthew to justify sending $40 billion to Ukraine during a time of steeply rising inflation, astronomical gas prices, and a baby-formula shortage.

Speaking on the House floor about the aid package for Ukraine, the superannuated hypocrite said, “So when you’re home thinking, ‘What is this all about?,’ just think about ‘When I was hungry, you fed me,’ in the Gospel of Matthew.” It was bitterly ironic to see a woman who has strenuously insisted for years that her religion had no place in her politics suddenly invoking the words of Jesus to justify her preferred public policy, but Leftist politicians have never shied away from even the most cynical and manipulative grandstanding. She clearly intended to co-opt opposition to the Ukraine aid package by portraying it as un-Christian, hoping to intimidate Christian conservatives into thinking that if they opposed it, they would be going against the very words of the Gospel itself.

Pelosi’s transparent ploy wasn’t working with at least one of those Christian conservatives. William Davis, whose Twitter bio says he is Catholic and conservative, responded trenchantly to Pelosi, “For I was a defense contractor, and you gave me even more taxpayer money.” Others pointed out that Pelosi had never sponsored a comparable payout for the hungry and homeless on the streets of her district in San Francisco.

Pelosi did, however, take recourse to the same rhetoric last October, when, during an event in San Francisco, she quoted to the city’s mayor, London Breed, the same passage in Matthew, again as she touted big-government socialist measures that have manifestly failed. “Madam Mayor, it’s always a joy to be with you while we’re talking about low-income housing, affordable housing, public housing, and the rest, and to hear you speak from your own personal experience about it. ‘When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was homeless, you gave me shelter. When I was naked, you clothed me,’” quoth Nancy. “All of those things in the Gospel of Matthew, the Mayor brings to the experience.”

Pelosi has even situated her staunchly pro-abortion stance within the context of her alleged religious commitment. In September 2021, touting her pro-abortion bill that would circumvent the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Pelosi reminded us, “I come to this as a Catholic and a mother of five, in 6 years and 1 week, and the joy that all that meant to us.” Then in March 2022, arguing that Roe should be upheld, she said it again: “I am a devout Catholic … Mother of five children in six years and one week. This is a precedent of the court. It should be upheld by the court. This really gets me burned up, in case you didn’t notice, because, again, I’m very Catholic, devout, practicing, all of that.” All of that, yeah. Apparently, the idea was that if she, as a supposedly devout Catholic, so firmly supported Roe, then so should we all. But exactly how the connections actually go in Pelosi’s tangled mind is not always entirely clear.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) tweeted, “I voted NO to send $40 Billion American tax dollars to Ukraine. That bill does things we should not be doing. Americans are suffering from a baby formula crisis, a border crisis, skyrocketing inflation and fuel crisis, and they are fed up with America last politicians.” It’s refreshing to see that at least some politicians in Washington are not as self-serving, calculating, and disingenuous as Pelosi. But apparently not very many.

The money is going to Ukraine, with no regard for the crises here at home, and with the America-First president still vilified and ridiculed by the political and media elites even now that he has been well over a year out of the White House. Pelosi reminded us of the priorities that she and God, in that order, ought to have. It is us peasants’ job, as far as she is concerned, simply to fall in line.

Most graduating college seniors in America are in high spirits this month as they prepare for cap-and-gown ceremonies and extended family celebrations. But for Kelly Neidert, a firebrand campus conservative and marketing major at the University of North Texas in Denton, commencement is no ordinary rite of passage filled with joy and laughter.

Having faced escalating threats and intimidation from a profane and godless student mob of intolerant liberals over the past two years, Kelly told me she is "hesitant" to receive her diploma on May 13. A woke vigilante, caught on security camera video, stalked her off-campus apartment and spraypainted the phrase "Stay home Nazi C—-" on her door. After a Daily Beast hit piece against her and her conservative twin brother, "leftists started trying to go after my parents. One leftist Twitter account posted a satellite image of my parent's house, while others tried to get them fired." A Change.org petition signed by more than 20,000 loons has called on the university to expel Kelly for her campus activism.

On Monday, Kelly was notified by Twitter that her account had been locked for violating "community standards" against violence and hatred. The only violence in her tweets was the violence and hatred of her enemies. "I had a TikTok dedicated to exposing what goes on at my university and that was banned at 65,000 followers." Meanwhile, leftist students and the local Antifa cell will show up to events with instruments, airhorns, megaphones, etc., literally drowning out my speaking."

"If I do walk for graduation," Kelly told me, "I will require a private security team to ensure that I am safe."

The 22-year-old Denison, Texas, native transferred to UNT from a small conservative Baptist college in 2019. It was a "huge culture shock," she recounted on Monday. "When I saw how far left the UNT campus was, I was honestly shocked. At that point, I knew that there needed to be a conservative presence on campus."

And boy, did she establish a presence. Kelly revived a local chapter of the Young Conservatives of Texas, which broke off from the establishment-run Young Americans for Freedom decades ago. This caused literal satanic witches to cast a "hex" on the new group with "intentions of misfortune." Instead of holding stodgy, insular meetings conducted in hushed tones debating arcane tax law with wannabe GOP swamp creatures who look down their noses at rabble-rousing, grassroots activists, Kelly put herself on the frontlines of the campus culture wars.

Armed with a megaphone, MAGA hat, and the armor of God, Kelly shouted from the rooftops in opposition to COVID-19 lockdowns; held a Bible verse Easter egg hunt that triggered anti-Christian vitriol online and in real life; and upheld true ideological diversity on campus by bringing prominent dissidents to speak. In February, she invited Jeff Younger, the Texas Army vet, and father who made international headlines battling his ex-wife in court over her plans to turn their 7-year-old son into a girl, for a campus event. Younger, who vows to ban transgender sexual abuse of children in the school and courts, will be on the May primary runoff ballot for a statehouse seat.

Hysterical tantrum-throwers shut down the event and forced Neidert to retreat to a janitor's closet. The same allergic reaction to free speech and alternative thought was repeated again last week when Neidert invited conservative Christian family activist Tracy Shannon to warn about the alphabet mafia's trans therapy coercion techniques.

"I had to hire security for myself and my activist partner for the event because I have zero confidence in the university protecting free speech on campus," Shannon told me. "The university denied YCT a room for the event, the first time in history a room was denied for safety concerns."

I reached out to University of North Texas president Neal Smatresk multiple times seeking comment. No response. I reached out to Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott, a self-styled champion of free speech, online and by phone as well. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Do University of North Texas alumni and donors give a damn about the witch hunt against this brave gal? Will any adults in Texas step up to the plate? Hello?

"Capitulationist Republicans are the biggest enemy to Christian conservatives who stand up to the woke mob," Kelly told me. "They fight for the left, but the left will absolutely never fight for them. When these capitulationist Republicans publicly denounce us, the left feels even more justified in their attacks against us." I know exactly what she speaks, having endured and exposed it for 30 years.

"My story has been in the news cycle on and off since July of 2020," she points out, "but Greg Abbott has never once spoken about it or publicly supported me. My message to Abbott is to stop talking and actually do something about it. I am hopeful that Twitter will be fairer about free speech since Elon Musk is taking over."

Pretty pathetic state of affairs, isn't it, when the multibillion-dollar funded "conservative movement" over the past 30 years outsources its job to a foreign tech mogul who has only recently awakened to woke tyranny?

Neidert refuses to back down. After graduation, she will lead a new grassroots group, Protect Texas Kids, to "help combat the indoctrination in K-12 schools." Her website is protecttxkids.org. Her simple advice to future conservative activists:

"Raise hell."

Late last month, school librarians from across Texas gathered for the four-day “Recover, Rebalance, Reconnect” lineup which featured drag queens, a talk from prominent racial justice scholar Ibram X. Kendi, and workshops on social justice and building community around LGBT identities.

Texas Library Association (TLA) hosted drag performers Justin Johnson and Joseph Hoselton, respectively known and dressed as their alter-egos “Alyssa Edwards” and “Jenny Skyy,” as The Christian Post reported.

Johnson was featured as the conference’s “After Hours Keynote” speaker while Hoselton led a “Drag Queen Storytime” for the sake of promoting “literacy and community collaboration through dynamic storytelling and music.”

Drag queen storytime events have gained popularity across the country over the last five years, gaining praise from the LGBT community and controversy among conservatives and Christians in equal measure.

This is something we have often covered here at Elizabeth Johnston ministries, particularly in instances when drag performers featured at the events, often geared towards particularly young children, have been exposed as having an unvetted history of sexual crimes against children — or even, in one horrifying case, seen to have exposed themselves to the children.

The TLA’s conference also featured a talk from Kendi, the author of “How to Be Anti-Racist” and one of the most high-profile promulgators of so-called “racial justice” or what has been come to be known as critical race theory and which many have raised concerns about its presence in American public school classrooms.

There was also reportedly a workshop called “Building Community Relationships for LGBTQIA+ Patrons” as well as one on “diversifying” library collections to introduce more material on “identity, culture, diversity, bias, and social justice.”

The Post notes that the TLA is a charitable nonprofit made up of workers at taxpayer-funded libraries in the state.

Following calls last week for pro-abortion leftist foot soldiers to intimidate conservative Supreme Court justices and disrupt masses at Catholic churches on Mother’s Day, the weekend saw an escalation in illegal pro-abortion activities. Using terrorist tactics — including intimidation, threats, vandalism, and arson — criminal leftist organizations seem to have pulled out all stops as the high court appears poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.

As this writer reported late last week, the progressive activist group Ruth Sent Us doxxed the six “conservative” Supreme Court justices, publishing their addresses and staging protests at their homes. The group also called for storming Catholic churches and spreading fear by disrupting masses on Mother’s Day.

Given that the Left’s baseless claims — repeated ad nauseam in the liberal mainstream press — that a repeal of Roe is tantamount to the outright slavery of women, it was never a stretch to imagine that true-blue leftists who believe that hollow rhetoric would turn to violence. After all, if one actually believes the left-wing conspiracy theory that Christian conservatives are seeking to enslave women, one almost could not go too far in stopping them — especially if one had no moral or religious code restraining one’s behavior.

Enter — from stage left — the pro-abortion movement’s criminal foot soldiers who are faithfully executing their marching orders without anything resembling moral constraint.

Over the weekend, roughly 100 “protesters” descended on the homes of Supreme Court justices in a naked attempt to intimidate them by threats and fear. As Breitbart reported:

Protesters have taken drastic measures, like blocking church entrances and now showing up on the doorsteps of Supreme Court Justices’ homes.

Protesters marched in front of Chief Justice John Roberts’ home and reportedly chanted, “Keep abortion safe and legal.” Other chants included, “Pro-life is a lie, you don’t care if people die.”

Protesters also drew images of hangers in chalk on the street in front of Roberts’ home.

Somehow the same people who have spent the better part of 17 months claiming that trespassing is “insurrection” now claim that trespassing — along with blocking streets, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace — is a form of “peaceful protest.” Of course, they always claim that whatever they do is “peaceful protest” even when — as in the Summer of 2020 — it leaves a string of burned-out buildings, police cars, and city buses, as well as dozens of dead bodies and billions of dollars in damage across more than 200 American cities.

They claim they are peaceful, but they lie; threats and intimidation are not peaceful.

Bragging that “the whole world is watching,” these miscreants proudly and nakedly attempt to terrorize conservative Supreme Court justices to cow in fear and change their vote ahead of June’s decision.

At Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home — and obviously suffering from cognitive dissonance caused by the inconsistency of their own mindless mantras — the crowd who (in different circumstances) claim that men who claim to be women are, in fact, women, chanted, “No uterus, no opinion.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

But while their mental faculties may demonstrate decline, their immoral use of terrorist tactics, such as fear and intimidation, appears to be gaining steam. Another round of “protests” is scheduled for Justice Alito’s home on Monday.

And while some may offer lame excuses for employing fear and intimidation by claiming that these “marchers” are merely “peacefully protesting,” it is important to note that while one flank is working the intimidation angle at the homes of conservative justices, another flank is targeting churches. And their tactics are slightly more — shall we say — aggressive.

Late last week, Ruth Sent Us sent out a call to arms, instructing pro-abortion foot soldiers to focus on what they see as the real enemy: the Catholic Church.

Dressed as characters from A Handmaid’s Tale, Ruth Sent Us activists showed how to disrupt services at Catholic Churches. In one video, taken prior to Mother’s Day, they are seen disrupting a Catholic mass and stating, “For 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has been an institution for the enslavement of women.”

Here again, is the claim that any woman who cannot murder her unborn child is a slave.

But beyond that, here is an example of orchestrated criminal activity. By organizing criminal trespass (which, remember, is insurrection), Ruth Sent Us is a criminal organization. And since the goal of these “protests” is to force political change, then — by the FBI’s definition — Ruth Sent Us is a terrorist organization.

Planned Mother’s Day “protests” were indeed carried out. And while — almost certainly due to the diligence of Catholic parishioners across the country who made known their diligence — there were fewer episodes of “walk-ins” than Ruth Sent Us would have liked to have seen, such disruptions did happen. As CNA reported:

In Los Angeles, the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels was disrupted just before Communion by female protesters dressed in “huge hats” and “red, hooded gowns,” parishioner Bradford Adkins, 35, of Los Angeles, told CNA. Adkins said the women were shouting and unfurled a large green banner but were escorted away, allowing the Mass to resume.

And National Catholic Register reported:

On Saturday, pro-abortion activists blocked the entrance of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Lower Manhattan in New York City. For safety reasons, police at the scene halted plans for a pro-life procession to a nearby Planned Parenthood abortion facility, as happens on the first Saturday of the month.

At that orchestrated event, “protesters” who criminally blocked access to a church chanted, “Thank God for abortion.” And Kathryn Jean Lopez, a columnist for National Review who reported live from the “protest,” told of a woman who perhaps personifies the pro-abortion movement. Wearing a bathing suit with dolls dangling to represent her abortions, the woman danced and chanted, “God killed his kid, why can’t I kill mine?”

That hatred of God and Christ — so prevalent among the Left in general and the pro-abortion movement in particular — is not a side dish; it is the main course.

And since such people have no moral constraints, violence is inevitable.

As The New American reported, that violence came over the weekend:

Pro-abortion activism is getting increasingly violent across the United States. On Sunday, the headquarters of a non-profit pro-life organization in Madison, Wisconsin, were attacked by a leftist anarchist group.

According to a Madison.com report, vandals set fire to the Wisconsin Family Action (WFA) office early Sunday. Two staff returned to the office to find the office heavily damaged. There was shattered glass from a broken window covering a corner office, with books and furniture tossed over and thrown around. Graffiti written on the wall said, “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.” Other graffiti apparently depicted a logo of Anarchy 1312, the organization allegedly responsible for the attack.

The pro-life center in Madison was not alone. Other acts of violence against pro-life organizations were reported n other parts of the country. From CNA:

In Denton, Texas, a pro-life pregnancy center called Loreto House was defaced with graffiti that read, “Not a clinic,” and “Forced pregnancy is murder.” In a tweet, Bishop Michael Olson of Fort Worth said, “Please pray for the person who perpetrated this, for their interior healing and moral conversion.”

These events come on the heels of increasing vandalism against churches — mostly Catholic — in past weeks. But with leftist groups openly advocating criminal actions in the wake of the SCOTUS leak showing that the Court likely intends to strike down Roe, more is expected.

With attempts to sway the Court through fear and intimidation as well as interfering with the ability of Americans to exercise a right protected by the Constitution — accompanied by actual criminal acts of vandalism and arson — can we call pro-abortion groups such as Ruth Sent Us and ShutDownDC terrorist organizations now?

Facebook Blocks Christian Children’s Book Publisher From Advertising

A Christian children’s book publisher says that Facebook has disabled its ad account, severely limiting its ability to reach new customers.

Good & True Media is a Christian company dedicated to making wholesome children’s literature. Since launching in the Fall of 2021, they’ve already had several best sellers. Since September, they’ve been advertising on Facebook without any problems but found their ad account disabled two days after posting an ad containing a Bible verse.

The full text of the ad read as follows:

Two days after Good & True Media posted the ad, Facebook informed Brian Gallagher, the founder, and publisher of Good & True Media, that his ad account was disabled because the account “may not fully comply with [Facebook’s] Advertising Policies or other standards.”

Earlier this year, Facebook also blocked conservative children’s book publisher Heroes of Liberty from advertising on their platform. Eventually, they reversed their decision, and Gallagher hopes that Facebook will do the same for Good & True Media. He has made several appeals, but so far without success.

“Disney can preach the gospel of gender fluidity, but we can’t preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” Gallagher told PJ Media.

Gallagher believes that part of the problem is that Facebook Ads has changed its advertising policies to disallow targeting people based on religion. “I cannot send ads of my Christian books to Christians anymore,” he says. In addition, Gallagher finds the timing of Good & True Media‘s account being disabled suspicious.

“Our ad account was disabled two days after publishing our first ad with a Bible verse,” Gallagher noted. “I hope Big Tech is not censoring us for promoting wholesome Christian products for children. Certainly, Disney is not being censored for the ideologies they are pushing onto children.”

Good & True Media will soon be launching a monthly subscription box called “The Bible Crate,” which takes young children through the stories of the Bible in one year. But unfortunately, being banned from advertising on Facebook means they can’t send ads to those interested in Christian books anymore.

“One thing is for sure though, it is becoming increasingly difficult to grow a Christian business in this Big Tech landscape,” he added.

Despite the apparent censorship, Gallagher hopes that Facebook will reverse its decision so Good & True Media can resume advertising.

“I hope our Ad Account is reenabled and we can continue to spread our wholesome Christian products to children across the globe,” Gallagher said.

Biden: ‘So Many Muslims Are Targeted With Violence’ and ‘Oppressed for Their Religious Beliefs’

Day by day, it seems that the ruling class and their media mouthpiece are dedicated to one principle: find problems where none exist and ignore real problems that are in desperate need of attention.

Consider the words of U.S. President Joe Biden, speaking during Eid al-Fitr with Muslims at the White House on May 2. He said:

[T]oday, around the world, we’re seeing so many Muslims being targeted with violence. No one, no one should discriminate against the oppressed or be oppressed for their religious beliefs…. Muslims make our nation stronger every single day, even as they still face real challenges and threats in our society, including targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists.

Now, let’s briefly parse these surreal claims:

[T]oday, around the world, we’re seeing so many Muslims being targeted with violence.

Where are the statistics for this claim? Rather, what we’re used to seeing is Muslims targeting non-Muslims with violence. According to one tally, for example, during just this last Ramadan, or basically the month of April 2022, Muslims launched 177 terror attacks “in the name of Islam” that murdered 1,086 people. Again, that’s just during one month—Islam’s “holiest” month. The same tally finds that there were zero attacks and zero deaths by non-Muslims operating under the name of their religions.

No one, no one should discriminate against the oppressed or be oppressed for their religious beliefs.

Of course, everyone agrees with this—except, apparently, the one group that Biden was speaking to and presenting as “oppressed,” namely, Muslims: systematic discrimination and oppression are endemic to the Muslim world, and that’s because systematic discrimination and oppression are integral parts of the religion of Islam and codified in sharia.

If you’re a non-Muslim, you are openly treated as inferior and with fewer rights. That’s if you’re lucky; otherwise, you’re outright persecuted and possibly killed for your faith. As a recent report found, 360 million Christians around the world are persecuted for their religious identity—and the overwhelming majority of that persecution occurs in Muslim nations. In fact, the persecution Christians experience in 39 of the worst 50 nations is due to Islam. Yet never a word about this from Biden. Instead:

Muslims make our nation stronger every single day, even as they still face real challenges and threats in our society, including targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists.

While one can point to several ways Muslims potentially make the U.S. weaker every day—from terror attacks and violent crimes to engaging in propaganda and subverting the nation from within—it would be useful to explain one reason as to how “Muslims make our nation stronger every single day.” Sure, it sounds nice, but some concrete examples, please.

As for Biden’s complaint about “targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists,” as seen, whatever that may be, it is a tithe of the targeted violence that Muslims launch on others.

As for the “Islamophobia that exists”—and which has existed since Islam was born, for obvious reasons—it is simply a manifestation of the fact that more and more people are learning the truths of Muhammad’s creed, despite the talking points of Biden and the rest.

Pro-Homosexual Group Coming To Nazarene Theological Seminary May 10-12

If the hosting of a pro-homosexual group at a seminary does not bother the conscience of a member of the Nazarene denomination, then perhaps nothing will.  If my Nazarene friends remain silent because of this story, then they could well remain silent for anything else. If the reaction of anyone reading this is to condemn or rebuke me or anyone else for exposing evil, then you have some serious praying to the Lord to do. And if a Nazarene pastor reading this decides to remain silent, then perhaps he ought to give up his credentials and stop preaching.

Recently, it was a pro-same-sex marriage theologian, Willie James Jennings, spoke at an event sponsored by Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS). Jennings is a theologian who is in favor of same-sex marriage. Homosexuality is an abomination according to God’s word, but that did not stop the seminary from bringing in a speaker who rejects Holy Scripture.

In the link at the end, you will see that the seminary is now welcoming an organization (Love Wins LGBT) that is pro-homosexual.  And once again I ask, “where is the leadership?”  This all is happening right under the noses of those who are charged to guide the denomination spiritually. Is it possible that some of them actually approve of this abomination? And as you will see, former General Superintendent Jesse Middendorf is right in the middle of the movement to normalize homosexuality in the Church of the Nazarene.

Love Wins LGBT is a group that claims to be a Wesleyan-Holiness movement, but it is not.  It is a façade, a charade. It is a group that I believe is pushing for the normalization of homosexuality within the Church of the Nazarene. The leader of Love Wins: LGBT is Andy (Anderson) McGee, who is “pastor” of Trinity Family Mid_Town Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, KS. I have written several posts about this “pastor” and his pro-homosexual agenda.

Andy has supported gay activists who promote same-sex marriage, praised a “gay Christian” conference, praised a racist organization, praised the National Coming Out Day, and has testified that he is bi-sexual. When you study more and more of his ministry, you will notice that there is never any mention of Jesus Christ helping those in the homosexual community to be freed from their slavery to homosexuality. In February of 2022, NTS officially relaunched the CPL with the name “Praxis” – a term used to describe a church’s ongoing life that moves between study/reflection and engagement/action; each movement informs the other. This strategic renaming broadens the CPL’s scope to better serve the life of the Church in the 21st Century.

Nazarene Theological Seminary’s vision to provide lifelong learning and encourage leadership in the local church became a reality with the formation of the Center for Pastoral Leadership in 2014. Under the leadership of Dr. Jesse Middendorf and the Rev. Dana Preusch, the Center has provided thousands of hours of lifelong learning and thoughtful resources, events, and support to Nazarene clergy in the USA/Canada region and beyond. Praxis will build on and expand this work.

Once again, one of the usual suspects in this movement to normalize homosexuality within the Church of the Nazarene is Jesse Middendorf, a former General Superintendent. To think that a man who was in the highest office of the Nazarene denomination has been one of the leading promoters of Andy’s “ministry” should be quite concerning.

A notable speaker at the conference is Antonie Holleman, District Superintendent of the Netherlands District Church of the Nazarene.  The Holland district has already been shown to have churches that bless same-sex unions.  A few years back, I sent a warning to the General Superintendents about this, and about a Nazarene pastor in that district who admitted to blessing same-sex unions. I never got a response, and as far as I know, that pastor is still active in the district. See my report here.

This movement is not new.  I recall in the General Assembly at Indiana, in 2013, when I attended a session run by Andy. A Nazarene pastor at the end of the session spoke accurately and faithfully of how Christ can change anyone from whatever wrong lifestyle that dishonored God.  I recall yelling out “Amen!” after he spoke, and I was met with disapproval by several people around me, including some Nazarene pastors. The state of the denomination is most likely worse now than it was back then.

Will there be any righteous voices speaking out amongst the leadership of the church?  I believe there are some, but there needs to be more. But if this ignoring of the situation continues on, it will spell doom for a denomination that says much about holiness, but surely is not doing enough of a job of rebuking those who are “lovers of themselves” and who worship the created instead of the Creator.

Personal Thoughts

I am not trying to convince Nazarenes to leave the denomination. I don’t even have as much time as I used to have.  I simply want to encourage them to do the right thing. The right thing may be different for each person, but the wrong thing is to ignore it all. Perhaps you will have had enough, and leave the denomination.  Perhaps you are part of a faithful Nazarene church, and you won’t abandon faithful pastors.  Perhaps you will join the fight and try to bring the denomination back to its holiness roots, which it seems to be abandoning. But why would you want to remain silent and allow the church to slide more into heresy?

In Galatians 4:16, the Apostle Paul asked the churches in Galatia a question. “Have I, therefore, become your enemy because I tell you the truth?”  What good does it do if someone has cancer, but the doctor does not say a word about it to the patient?  Why are some Nazarenes determined to protect the reputation of a denomination that is proclaiming holiness on the outside, but inwardly is rotting with spiritual cancer?

In Galatians 1:6-10, the Apostle Paul writes about what is going on within the church:

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

When Ezekiel was charged by God to warn the people about any coming danger, the Lord clearly stated the consequences.  If Ezekiel would listen to God, and warn the people, he then would not be held responsible if the people perished.  But if he failed to warn the people, and one single person perished, he would be held equally responsible for failing to do his duty. That is what I am doing, and others are doing as well.  We are being faithful by warning the people of the danger.

I’ve been rebuked and condemned by some Nazarenes for distributing negative information (warning the people) about things going wrong in the Church of the Nazarene. So have many others who are still Nazarenes who have been warning others within the denomination. Instead of raising the alarm, or contacting those in leadership to ask questions, many Nazarenes are treating the messengers as if they are doing something un-Christian!

Many Nazarenes are either turning away to a different gospel, or they are totally ignoring the danger.  They seem to say “as long as it’s not in my backyard or church” then I don’t care. Meanwhile, apostate pastors-to-be are being groomed at Nazarene Theological Seminary to lead more sheep astray.  They will be wolves in sheep’s clothing, leading many to hell because of a false gospel.  And the Nazarenes who refuse to learn biblical discernment will be spiritually shipwrecked.

In Proverbs 27:6, the writer states that “Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”  Would you rather be lied to?  Or would you rather know the truth?

If Roe v. Wade can be said to be religious at all, the god it serves is Moloch, the Canaanite deity who demands human sacrifice. But Old Joe Biden, devout and knowledgeable Catholic that he is, would beg to differ. As it turns out, at least in Joe’s addled mind, Roe v. Wade is a profoundly religious document, encapsulating the wisdom of all the world’s great religious traditions. Oh, you didn’t know that? Neither did anyone else.

Biden tried to strike the tone of the careful, cautious moderate, saying: “The idea that we’re gonna make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court I think goes way overboard.” Abort what, Joe? Abortion advocates have been insisting for fifty years now that an unborn child is just a clump of cells, not a human life at all, and now at this late date, with Roe apparently under threat (although the justices haven’t heard from Antifa yet), Dementia Joe tells us that what is aborted is a “child.” Well, yeah. That’s the very reason why what went “way overboard” was Roe itself, not a decision to overturn this exercise in baseless judicial fiat and restore the right of each state to make its own laws about abortion.

Joe being Joe, he didn’t stop there but added one of those most whopping lies this career serial liar has ever told: “Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks?”

Biden says he is a Catholic. He even claims to be a devout, committed, observant believer. He became a U.S. senator before Roe v. Wade was decided. During the entire life of the abortion controversy post-Roe, Biden was in the Senate, and then vice president, and then ostensible president. It is inconceivable that during all those decades, he never learned that the Catholic Church teaches that “human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”

There is simply no equivocation in his own Church’s position on this. The Catechism of the Catholic Church adds: “Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law: You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.”

The Orthodox Church, the second-largest Christian body in the world, fully agrees. While there are other religious traditions that do allow for abortion under some circumstances, it is striking that Biden would do casually misrepresent the teaching of his own religious tradition, especially in light of the fact that he has been at the center of so much controversy about whether he should receive communion despite his open defiance of the Church to which he professes to belong.

Biden continued: “If this decision holds, it’s really quite a radical decision…it basically says all the decisions related to your private life — who you marry, whether or not you decide to conceive a child or not… what does this do?” That wasn’t exactly coherent but showed traces of being a standard pro-abortion talking point, that overturning Roe would represent unconscionable government interference in the private lives of American citizens. Actually, it was Roe itself that represented raw federal overreach, seizing the authority to legislate abortion away from the states. Biden claimed that the draft opinion overturning Roe was “a fundamental shift in American jurisprudence,” but that’s once again what Roe itself was, a rejection of the Constitutional order in favor of the Left’s rule by fiat and cultural fashion that has unleashed so much madness upon us since Roe was decided.

The abortion controversy has divided and embittered the nation for half a century now, and we’re in for more Leftist lies, rage, and hysteria about it now. But in all these years, no one has ever said that Roe v. Wade, one of the most radical, baseless, and poorly argued decisions ever issued by the Supreme Court, represented traditional religious views. It took an accomplished career liar, Joe Biden, to do that.

(Natural News) One of the brains behind The World Economic Forum (WEF), is the self-proclaimed prophet, Yuval Noah Harari. He believes in the Great Reset, transhumanism, culling the population, and using a global government to control humanity at the bio-metric level. He is praised by Bill Gates, Barack Obama Mark Zuckerberg, and Klaus Schwab, leader of the WEF.

Harari talks about “useless human beings” who do not have meaning or purpose. He said the greatest fake news is the Bible. He said Christianity is wrong, that humans are here on Earth for “nothing.” “Jesus Christ is fake news,” be balked. He believes there is “no great cosmic plan” that humans have a role to play in. Instead, he views humans as “useless eaters” who can be hacked and manipulated using digital surveillance under their skin.

He also believes in culling the population. “What do we need so many humans for?” he is quoted as saying while promoting his latest book.

In a recent interview, Harari said the world is entering a new industrial revolution, but the products will not be physical goods. Harari said science, technology, and industry’s greatest challenge of the 21st century will be “to try to gain control of the world inside us, to learn how to engineer and produce bodies and brains and minds.” He says these are likely to be the “main products” of the 21st-century economy.

He said, “Once you know how to produce bodies and brains and minds so cheap labor in Africa and South Asia, it simply counts for nothing.”
“The biggest question in maybe economics and politics of the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people,” he said with a straight face. He said technology will ensure that everyone is fed, so “food is not the problem.”

“The problem is more boredom, and what to do with them, and how will they find some sense of meaning in life, when they are basically meaningless, worthless.” He prescribed drugs and computer games as solutions to entertain “useless” people’s brains.

He said a global government will collect and use data on every person to learn how to engineer bodies, brains, and minds. He says data and biometrics will be used to hack human beings and re-engineer the future of human life itself. He said, “intelligent design” never existed and any notion of a Creator God will be driven out of society, as humans become hackable, programmable. Harari even claims that the laws of natural selection and organic biochemistry will be eliminated and replaced by a trans-humanist future, where humans become hackable animals, manipulated and controlled.

“We have the technology to hack humans on a massive scale,” he said. He added crises should be exploited to implement more surveillance throughout society so “elites” can monitor, collect data, and engineer the future trajectory of human life. Much of this surveillance will “come under the skin” as biometric data become a pathway to manipulate human populations. Harari said we already have the ability to go under the skin and collect biometric data, allowing “elites” the power to re-engineer life itself. “We are upgrading humans into gods,” he said.

He said in an emergency, people trust the “scientists.” He used the example of priests and ministers shutting down their churches worldwide in 2020 to prove that God is dead. Going forward, people will put their faith in the scientific elite and global government, he balked. “Even the religious leaders trust the scientists,” he said.

(Natural News) An Amish organic farmer is facing a hefty fine and a prison term for the simple crime of producing clean meat.

Amos Miller runs a holistically managed farm in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, where he breeds cows, chickens, and pigs. The animals in his century-old farm are bred without the use of chemicals and medications mandated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). According to Miller, he raises his animals in the way he believes God intended them to be raised – in accordance with nature.

However, a federal judge ordered the Amish farmer to cease and desist all sales of his organic meat. This same magistrate also ordered Miller to pay $250,000 for “contempt of court” last summer. He added that the farmer needs to pay an initial $50,000 as a “good faith” payment to avoid jail.

To make matters worse, armed U.S. marshals raided his property, farm store, and freezers at the behest of the federal judge. They took an inventory of all his meat to ensure he will no longer be able to sell or slaughter any more animals. Miller, who runs a private members-only food distribution network, alleged that the federal government is prosecuting him for practicing his religious freedom in the way he raises and prepares food. “Our members don’t want any of that. They want fresh, raw meat with no additives. Our members want it straight from the farm with no preservatives on it.”

The members of Miller’s private food club agree, saying they do not like their grass-fed meat laced with chemical preservatives mandated by the USDA. Numbering around 400, they have also signed contracts that state their awareness of the meat not being processed in USDA-inspected plants or treated with preservatives.

USDA prefers people eat chemicals instead of clean foods

According to Miller, all USDA-licensed processing plants are required to treat all meat – regardless of whether they are organic or grass-fed – with synthetic preservatives.

“Often, they use citric acid, which you’d think comes from oranges or lemons. But it’s a modified substance made from corn, and they don’t even have to label it on the meat,” he explained.

A customer who handles the Amish farmer’s website and other modern communications concurred with him, saying: “The USDA processing plants require the meat to be treated with a chemical cocktail of citric acid, lactic acid, and peracetic acid. The peracetic acid is toxic, and the citric and lactic [acids] are GMO.”

Anke, another customer of Miller, pointed out that the lactic acid used to preserve meat is not a natural version. “It’s not lactic acid coming from the fermentation of sauerkraut. It’s all created in a dish in a lab,” she said. “It’s a synthetic sterilizer that causes many health problems.”

According to Miller, he and other small farmers would still be nearly impossible to make a profit – thanks to giant meat companies acting as middlemen. Furthermore, the exorbitant costs of obtaining a USDA meat processing license make matters worse.

The Amish farmer lamented: “The rules and regulations are such that you have to get into [a] $100,000 debt before you ever sell your first pound of meat – and the market’s not guaranteed. There’s no option for farmers to start small, and add on and buy equipment as they can.”

“[We have to] either get a license or go out of business. Our position is we’d rather go out of business because their rules and regulations are too hard to follow. We have many small farmers in our area that would love to be farmers, but the business has gotten so monopolized.”

Anke agreed with Miller, saying that ultimately, “it’s all about profit and money.” She added: “They want a monopoly on beef, pork, and poultry. They are basically saying ‘Unless you go through federal inspection, you are making people sick.'”

Satan may be coming to school in Greensboro, North Carolina. Hosted by the Satanic Temple, the After-School Satan Club has applied to begin meeting in the cafeteria at Greensboro’s Joyner Elementary School. Unsurprisingly, some parents are upset and are seeking to block the club from meeting at the school.

In a flyer — circulated widely on social media — the club is described as “a safe and all-inclusive alternative to other religious programs.” It is an attempt on the part of Satanists to compete directly with Good News Clubs — a Christian after-school club that meets in schools. The Satanic Temple’s website claims the club is not about “converting children to Satanism,” stating:

Proselytization is not our goal, and we’re not interested in converting children to Satanism. After School Satan Clubs will focus on free inquiry and rationalism, the scientific basis for which we know what we know about the world around us.

We prefer to give children an appreciation of the natural wonders surrounding them, not a fear of everlasting other-worldly horrors.

The site also states:

The After School Satan Clubs meet at select public schools where Good News Clubs also operate. Trained educators provide activities and learning opportunities, which students are free to engage in, or they may opt to explore other interests that may be aided by available resources. The environment is open and parents are welcome to participate. While the classes are designed to promote intellectual and emotional development in accordance with TST’s tenets, no proselytization or religious instruction takes place.

With “trained educators” providing “activities and learning opportunities” focused on “free inquiry and rationalism” and an attitude of pooh-poohing the idea of an afterlife where all will answer for their actions in this world, one could get the impression that “converting children to Satanism” is actually the goal.

Consider a statement from June Everett, campaign manager for the After-School Satan Club. She told WFMY News:

So, the Satanic Temple is a non-theistic religion, meaning that we don’t believe in an actual, literal Satan. What we do believe is Satan as a symbol to standing up to tyrannical authority, asking questions, and, you know, like, bringing, bringing the hypocrisy of our laws really, you know, forward.

By viewing Satan as “a symbol to standing up to tyrannical authority,” it is clear that Satanists — who may or may not “believe in an actual, literal Satan” — see the God of Christianity and Judaism as a tyrant. And that philosophy is central to the after-school club.

After all, they claim to be a “non-theistic religion” — which is more than a little like claiming to be a single married person or a pedestrian driver. Religion — by its very nature — has three essential elements: a god or gods, people, and the relation between that god/gods and those people.

Satanism may or may not be about virgin sacrifices and blood and demonic visitations. While those elements are certainly present in some circles of Satanism, the version of Satanism offered by the Satanic Temple is about following Satan’s lead in attempting to overthrow God and exalt self to the place of worship.

The flyer advertising the club makes that clear, stating, “The Satanic Temple is a non-theistic religion that views Satan as a mythical figure representing individual freedom.” The flyer also promises that attendees will gain “benevolence and empathy,” “critical thinking,” “problem-solving,” “creative expression,” and “personal sovereignty.”

Part of the club materials is the After School Satan Handbook, available as a download from the temple’s website. The handbook addresses the question, “Why Satan?” and answers:

To call our club any alternative such as “science club” or “atheist club”, which has been suggested by many, would be disingenuous and akin to hiding.

Satan, to us, is not a supernatural being. Instead, Satan is a literary figure that represents a metaphorical construct of rejecting tyranny over the human mind and spirit.

It is clear to see that — whether or not Satanists “believe in an actual, literal Satan” — they are certainly following him in his rebellion against God. And while the handbook claims, “We are not offering any materials or lectures to your child about Satanism,” the truth is that the entire philosophy of the club is based on the same lie Satan told in that garden of old — “You shall be as gods, knowing good from evil.” But one could hardly expect Satanists to be truthful; their “god” is — according to Our Lord — “the father of lies.”

Along with claiming that Satan is a warm, fuzzy feeling of freedom and individual sovereignty, the temple also claims protection under the First Amendment. And sadly, they have modern interpretations on their side. As WFMY News reported:

Back in 2001, the Supreme Court decided that a school district cannot prohibit the First Amendment free speech rights of groups seeking access to a school district’s limited public forum.

That means the After-school Satan Club, along with other religious clubs, has the right to hold meetings after school.

And while these Satanists hide behind the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom, no thinking person would believe that Satanism was even part of the Founding Fathers’ original intent when the First Amendment was written and ratified.

And their hope — such as it is — has not always panned out for them. The temple has had mixed success with such clubs. As WBTW reported:

The state of Pennsylvania has rejected Satan clubs, but they have popped up in Illinois and Ohio. However, it’s the first time the idea has found its way to North Carolina.

And WAVY’s report quoted Lucien Greaves, co-founder of the Satanic Temple, as saying that there are a total of four clubs in the country including Illinois and Ohio, averaging about four students in each club. So not exactly a raving success. But that means that in a nation founded on Christian principles, roughly 16 children in four states are being guided in the poisonous philosophy that God is an enemy tyrant and Satan represents freedom from God’s tyranny.

No wonder parents are upset.

As the flyer made its rounds on social media, some parents — drunk on the spirit of indifference — seemed to accept Satan in schools, with replies such as, “Either all religions or none.” Other parents, though, replied with posts such as, “This is wrong, just all wrong.”

One mother, Tempee Moore, said, “A lot of people said ‘is this a hoax? Is this real? How can a Satan club be realistic?’” Moore called for Christians to show up at the school to make their opposition known. “Even if the club is not going to happen, there will be other times people want this to happen. It’s a way to say the Christian community here in [Greensboro] is not allowing this to go into their schools.”

And perhaps it won’t be. As WAVY reported, there is a review process taking place that may keep Satan out of Joyner Elementary School. But the rub is that Jesus may not be allowed, either. From that report:

Chief of Staff with Guilford County Schools Dr. Rebecca Kaye released the following statement:

“The requests for rental of GCS facilities by the Good News Club and the After School Satan Club are under review and neither is authorized to use GCS facilities at this time. Neither of the two clubs are sponsored by Joyner Elementary nor were they solicited by the school.

GCS is currently reviewing with its legal counsel how fliers for non-school sponsored clubs and events are distributed, as well as the district’s obligation to grant organizations equitable access to our public facilities.”

It is a sad commentary on the state of public religion that indifference has gained such a stronghold in the public mind that public policy cannot — is not allowed to — differentiate between God and Satan, between good and evil.

(Natural News) It could soon be mandatory for doctors in America to perform abortions, even if their religious beliefs prohibit them from taking innocent human life.

A new mandate being put together by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as “an anti-sex discrimination provision within the Affordable Care Act” would force doctors to murder unborn children or else risk losing their medical license.

The plan for this mandate was discovered in a memorandum attached to a 74-page court filing from last November. Catholic News Service (CNS) reported that the memo:

“… revealed that HHS has promised to revise its mandates on health plan coverage and performance to include surgical abortion, cross-sex hormones, gender-transition surgeries, gender-affirming cosmetic surgeries, and voice modification – along with a host of expanded services dealing with fertility treatments, contraception, abortifacients, and sterilizations.”

Doug Wilson, CEO of the Colorado-based Catholic Benefits Association, announced that the mandate is “written to end Catholic health care.”

“The requirements are so far beyond Catholic teaching that Catholic employers of every sort would be faced with complying or shutting down,” he further said. “The general public has almost no awareness of what may be coming.”

Planned Parenthood executive expresses joy over the possibility of forcing doctors to murder children

Back in 2019, then-President Donald Trump’s administration added a conscience protection rule to the law that prevents doctors, nurses, and other health care providers from being forced to offer or participate in any medical procedure that violates conscience or religious belief.

The Biden regime (aka Barack Hussein Obama) is seeking to overturn this clause and make it a requirement for everyone in the medical profession to rip an unborn child limb from limb and toss it in the trash can or else lose their job and livelihood.

“Added weight was given to the measure by allowing the federal government to withdraw taxpayer money from any institution that violated the conscience rights of its workers,” LifeSiteNews reported. “The rule was blocked by a federal judge after abortion advocates sued the Trump administration.”

According to CNS, the new mandate would likely apply to all health care providers, clinics, nursing homes, hospitals, group health insurers, and third-party administrators of self-funded plans.

“If the new regulation applies to all of those groups, it will effectively apply to all employers with a health plan,” says attorney Martin Nussbaum from the legal firm Nussbaum Speir Gleason, which advises the Colorado-based Catholic Benefits Association.

“The proposed regulation would also apply to all contractors of the previous groups, including my law firm. For Catholic hospital chains, it is hard to imagine how broad that group is.”

Nussbaum added further in a statement that the forthcoming HHS regulation presents an “existential threat” to Catholic health care because the penalties for non-compliance with it will likely include private enforcement, class-action lawsuits, and “qui tam” actions where individuals can file lawsuits as if they were the United States itself.

The penalties could also include loss of Medicare and Medicaid funding or even imprisonment for health care executives who refuse to comply.

“Such sanctions can shut down any hospital network,” Nussbaum further warned.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline Ayers, senior vice president of policy, organizing, and campaigns at Planned Parenthood, is excited about the possibility that this new mandate comes into effect.

She is quoted as praising the Biden regime for seeking to “revoke this discriminatory policy and help ensure people can access the health care and information they need when they need it.”

Wilson says there will be lawsuits if the mandate comes into effect.

“We are preparing for what we anticipate will be a significant lawsuit,” he says. “I don’t think the administration will make material changes or that the public comment period will have enough (or) much effect.”

04/21/2022 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – The U.S. last week approved an arms sale worth nearly $1 billion to Nigeria. The deal—which includes twelve AH-1Z Attack Helicopters, thousands of guidance systems for precision munitions, night vision equipment, and machine guns among other weapons and tools—was halted last year by a bipartisan group of leaders on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who were concerned about Nigeria’s human rights record.

“This sale will be a major contribution to U.S. and Nigerian security goals,” the U.S. Department of State said in a notice to Congress about the sale. “This proposed sale will support the foreign policy goals and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a strategic partner in Sub-Saharan Africa. The proposed sale will better equip Nigeria to contribute to shared security objectives, promote regional stability and build interoperability with the U.S. and other Western partners.”

The deal with Nigeria would, according to State Department, include the deployment of teams to Nigeria to train local forces on legal issues, human rights concerns, and ways to minimize civilian harm in air operations.

Human Rights Concerns

Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Nigeria in November and raised concerns about the Nigerian government’s human rights record. During his visit, he said that the U.S. was waiting for justice in the case of a 2020 incident in which the army shot at protestors before going ahead with the proposed arms sale. It is not clear what, if any, justice was administered before the deal was finalized last week.

In a report released last week, State Department highlighted “credible reports that members of the [Nigerian] security forces committed numerous abuses” last year. The report lists seventeen specific human rights abuses, including “unlawful and arbitrary killings by both government and nonstate actors; forced disappearances by the government, terrorists, and criminal groups; [and] torture.”

In addition to concerns about police brutality and lack of accountability for its armed forces, Nigeria has also long been criticized for its failure to provide security to vulnerable Christian communities in the Middle Belt and northern regions of the country.

For a variety of reasons, Nigeria was added to State Departments list of Countries of Particular Concern (CPC) in 2020 for engaging in or tolerating severe violations of religious freedom. It was removed from the list in 2021 around the time of Secretary Blinken’s visit in a move that drew widespread criticism from human rights watchdogs around the world….

Much like the Pope, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby uses Christianity to justify open borders — ie. breaking the law and illegally entering sovereign countries. Yet also like the globalist Pope, Welby is surrounded by personal security, and whoever enters his own personal domain is carefully vetted. He is also financially well cared for, unlike so many Britons, who are now saddled with the price tag of accommodating illegals— from feeding them and housing them to providing medical services, and when needed, heightened security services to protect citizens, given the disproportionately high incidents of crime committed by illegals.

A couple of years ago, a sensible cardinal opposed the woke leadership of the Catholic Church. Cardinal Robert Sarah — prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments — compared “the modern influx of Muslim migrants to the invasions of barbarian tribes that ultimately brought down the Roman Empire in a.d. 475.” Sarah also issued a warning which contradicted Pope Francis. He cautioned that “it is a false exegesis [interpretation of scriptural text] to use the Word of God to promote migration. God never wanted these rifts.” But this is precisely what Pope Francis has been doing, along with the Anglican Welby: abusing their positions and acting as blind guides in preaching that it is un-Christian to oppose illegal, mass Muslim migration into Europe.

“The details are for politics and politicians. The principle must stand the judgement of God and it cannot,” declared Welby, who himself has a direct role in lawmaking as a member of the House of Lords.

“It cannot carry the weight of resurrection justice, of life conquering death. It cannot carry the weight of the resurrection that was first to the least valued, for it privileges the rich and strong,” he went on, without offering a clear explanation as to how paying Rwanda to host people who illegally enter British territory from France — a safe European Union member-state — is an exercise of “privilege”….

Is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez now the pope’s advisor on immigration? “It is true,” said Pope Francis Friday, “refugees are subdivided. There’s first-class, second class, skin color, [if] they come from a developed country [or] one that is not developed. We are racists, we are racists. And this is bad.” The claim that Western countries are racist in their approach to immigration is not original to the pontiff: AOC said it back in early March. But the key question, both then and now, is largely overlooked yet quite simple: is it true?

Interviewer Lorena Bianchetti asked the pope, “At this time, Your Holiness, I think of those fleeing: there are these images that show the flight of Ukrainian people who are forced to leave their land, their homes, their loved ones. It is one of the latest exoduses that we are probably, alas, becoming accustomed to. But in this case, there has been a real concrete response. Does this response, I ask you, do you think it means there are cracks in the walls of indifference, of prejudice toward those who flee from other parts of the world wounded by war, or will refugees continue to be subdivided into the category of being an annoyance?” It’s hard to fathom what indifference she could possibly have meant. Europe has welcomed refugees and migrants to the extent that one in four people in Germany now has a migrant background. Those are some mighty porous “walls of indifference.”

Instead of trying to talk some sense to Bianchetti, however, the pope demonstrated that he fully subscribed to the idea that the West’s response to mass migration has been colored, as it were, by prejudice. “It is true. Refugees are subdivided,” he replied. “There’s first class, second class, skin color, [if] they come from a developed country [or] one that is not developed. We are racists, we are racists. And this is bad.” Yeah, sure. But really, can the pope name a single country in Europe or North America that has refused any migrants because of skin color? This is pure Leftist fantasy and propaganda, and it’s incredibly irresponsible for the pope to be retailing it.

Nor did Francis stop there. He went on to frame the refugees as Christ-like, so as to shame Christians into thinking that opposition to unvetted mass migration is somehow sinful. “The problem of the refugees,” the pope asserted, “is a problem that Jesus suffered, too, because he was a migrant and a refugee in Egypt when he was a child, to escape death. How many of them are suffering to escape death?” Good question. Other good questions are: How many of them are economic migrants? What is our obligation in such cases? And how many of them are people who are hoping to take advantage of the West’s generous welfare system (Germany acknowledged as far back as 2017 that 75% of its migrants would be collecting benefits for years to come)? How many are criminals or terrorists?

The pope has never shown any sign of considering such questions. He has repeatedly branded those who oppose mass Muslim migration into Europe as un-Christian. He seems to be completely unconcerned about facts, such as the fact that all of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees. In February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. The Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe. In light of all that, it is not “racist” in the slightest degree to be concerned about those who have come in, and about the possibility that there may be jihadis among them.

Instead, back in December, the pope visited the Greek island of Lesbos, a hotspot for migrant landings in Europe, and claimed that the migrants were neglected to the extent that it constituted a veritable “shipwreck of civilization.” Europe, he claimed, was “torn by nationalist egoism.” He added that “in Europe, there are those who persist in treating the problem as a matter that does not concern them.”

The pope’s imagined Europe, which is callously indifferent to the plight of migrants desperately fleeing certain death and chooses among those migrants on the basis of race, simply does not exist and has never existed. Nor will it likely ever exist. And the more the pope spreads these vicious untruths, the more the forces that are calling for some responsible restraints on mass migration for economic and security reasons will be drowned out. We are racists, and racists bad. That’s the depth of this man’s analysis.

(Natural News) Dr. Mehmet Oz is running for the United States Senate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and former President Donald Trump is endorsing him.

In a public announcement, Trump wrote that Dr. Oz will help “stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country.” He added that Oz is “brilliant and well-known,” and is “tough” and “smart,” which is what the country needs.

“I have known Dr. Oz for many years, as have many others, even if only through his very successful television show,” Trump said. “He has lived with us through the screen and has always been popular, respected, and smart. He even said that I was in extraordinary health, which made me like him even more (although he also said I should lose a couple of pounds).”

Trump went on to highlight Oz’s academic pedigree, including his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his joint MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Wharton School of Finance.

“He has authored more than 350 original publications, written eight New York Times bestsellers, and received patents for developing medical devices that have improved countless lives and performed thousands of life-saving heart operations,” Trump added.

According to Trump, Oz is also pro-life, “very strong on crime, the border, election fraud, our great military and our vets, tax cuts and will always fight for and support our under-siege Second Amendment.”

Oz will also help the United States to become energy independent again – ever since Joe Biden was installed in the White House, America has become energy-dependent.

The greatest potential for Oz, Trump said, is that he actually stands a chance at winning a general election against “a Radical Left Democrat looking to do unthinkable harm to our country.”

Trump said that women are especially drawn to Oz because of his “advice and counsel,” which can help him win an election, even in a usually “blue” state like Pennsylvania.

“He knows his job is to serve every single Pennsylvanian,” Trump added. “Dr. Oz is smart, tough, and will never let you down, therefore, he has my complete and total endorsement. Good luck, Dr. Oz. Our country needs you.”

Rick Perry of Texas has also endorsed Oz, and the doctor also recently appeared in an interview with Fox News‘ Sean Hannity, who also sees Oz as a viable candidate for the Senate in Pennsylvania.

Not everyone is convinced that Oz is a good choice, however. Commenters on news items about Trump’s announcement were critical of both Trump and Oz, with one suggesting that “Oz is another Mitt Romney: saying what he thinks conservatives want to hear.”

A United States Air Force veteran wrote that “Oz is a RINO [Republican in Name Only] and may not actually be a real conservative.”

“Dr. Oz pushed gender ideology on children, defended abortion standards, called for red flag gun laws, helped craft Obamacare, and more,” wrote another.

It was actually quite difficult to find any comments of support for Oz, including someone who said he supports Trump and that he was the “best president ever,” but cannot get on board with Dr. Oz.

“Mattis, Bolton, Barr, Wray, Sessions, Omarosa, Pence, Scaramucci, Tillerson, the list goes on,” wrote another about all of the people Trump endorsed or brought on board in his administration who turned out to be bad picks.

“Trump is and was a great president … but a horrible judge of character,” this same person added.

APOSTATE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH’S Duke Divinity School Students: ‘God Is Queer’

It was inevitable that Leftist divinity students, marinating as they are in the relentless insanity of the Left’s pet causes, would end up making gods in their own image: gay, woke, and whatever else the Left is idolizing at the moment. Duke Divinity School is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, which is already like being affiliated with the Maoists (gay, gender-fluid Maoists, that is), so it was the perfect place for a recent “Pride worship service” in which participants offered prayers to “the Great Queer One.”

Hope Rawlson of the Institute for Religion & Democracy reported Tuesday that the Pride worship service was designed to proclaim “God’s acceptance and support for LGBTQ relationships.” The bizarre service was the brainchild of Divinity Pride, a Duke student group that “affirms the dignity, faithfulness, and strength of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and gender/sexuality non-conforming Christians! We are committed to intersectional advocacy, education, and support for queer people and our allies specifically in the Divinity School, but with a Kingdom-reaching vision. We facilitate educative dialogues for the whole community, and we are here to support anyone who is reconciling their gender/sexuality and faith, facing persecution, or desiring a safe space.” They succeeded: the Pride worship service was plenty safe for men who think they’re women, and vice versa.

Master of Divinity (M.Div) student Caroline Camp kicked things off, and set the tone for the proceedings, with a prayer to the “strange one, fabulous one, fluid, and ever becoming one,” and the “drag queen, and transman, and gender-fluid.” All this fluid put me in mind of Moss Hart’s wicked parody of Noel Coward’s precious and pretentious song lyrics in his riotous play The Man Who Came to Dinner: “Softly a fluid Druid meets me, Olden and golden the dawn that greets me…” Moss Hart had nothing on the Duke Divinity School. Camp also prayed, more prosaically, to the “mother, father, and parent,” Oh brother — that is, Oh brother, sister, and sibling.

Another M.Div student, Tirzah Villegas, declared: “You are never called to abandon yourself. Abandoning the self is negating the truth of who you are, and that is always a lie.” Now, just a minute: Duke Divinity School is supposed to be a Christian school, at least vestigially, and I seem to remember someone involved with Christianity saying “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 16:24-25). But the one who spoke those words is not someone who appears to get much traction at Duke Divinity.

Villegas added that the assembled worshippers that their god was a “queer god,” which is likely true, as they have made a god out of their own proclivities. Nor are these divinity school students the first Leftists to make a religion out of their sociocultural delusions. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Grey Goose) a year ago gave thanks to her god for his salvific sacrifice: “Thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice.” Catholic University displayed a painting of George Floyd as Jesus.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D-Planned Parenthood) proclaimed in September 2021 that the unvaccinated “aren’t listening to God and what God wants.” The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), which is so far-Left as to make Duke Divinity School look like MAGA country, last October published a new hymn entitled “The Climate is Changing.” In September 2019, climate idolaters at Union Theological Seminary began worshipping potted plants as a “liturgical response to our climate crisis.”

Another Duke divinity student, a “self-identified trans woman,” declared that while men pretending to be women and women pretending to be men “can be framed as a choice,” actually “transition is better framed as a calling. It is a calling to wrestle with God and not let go until we receive a blessing in our own bodies.” This was in stark contrast to the judgmental religion some of those in attendance claimed to have encountered. One young man, or whatever, Justis Mitchell, said: “In the pews we listen to the pastor who preaches about commandments, condemning those who disobey, predicting a future of fire and turmoil.” Where does this being Mitchell go to church? In 1895?

Mitchell offered some hope, however: “We can become holy, we can become worthy, we can become valued…even as we remain queer, even as we discover our own queer God whose presence is within these walls.”

Making up a god to suit oneself has a long history. While it’s strange to see it happening in a place that is supposed to be dedicated to Christian theological inquiry, which historically has not taken a positive view of idolatry, it isn’t surprising. The corruption of the institutions is everywhere. Sane people desperately need an alternative.
