Laura Ingraham Hits Trump for Endorsing Oz in Senate Race

Laura Ingraham is none too pleased with Donald Trump’s endorsement of Mehmet Oz for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, or Sean Hannity’s for that matter.

Oz is seeking the Republican nomination and hopes to replace the retiring Pat Toomey (R-PA).

On Tuesday’s Ingraham Angle, the Fox News host played years-old clips of Oz expressing concerns about climate change, the ability of mentally unwell people to purchase firearms, and states enacting strict anti-abortion laws. For Ingraham, his previous positions on these issues are disqualifying.

The host welcomed former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway to the show to discuss the endorsement. Conway has endorsed Dave McCormick in the primary.

“Do you think the Trump endorsement of Oz was a mistake?” Ingraham asked Conway.

“Well, President Trump’s endorsement in these Republican primaries is a highly sought after and deeply consequential piece of political currency. So many people want it, they make the trek to Bedminster or Mar-a-Lago–”

The host cut her off and asked, “Was it a mistake, Kellyanne?”

Rather than talk up her preferred candidate – McCormick – Conway praised Trump, who was on the record as being pro-abortion until he ran for president. She said he had a “conversion” on the issue. She also accused Oz of making “rookie mistakes.”

Ingraham then noted that her Fox News colleague Sean Hannity is partial to Oz.

“Hannity, I think, I believe endorsed Oz and I think that’s, you know, that’s probably not inconsequential for President Trump,” she said. “You wouldn’t answer the question whether it was a mistake. I think it was a mistake to endorse Oz. I’ll say it. I’m not afraid to say it. It was a mistake to endorse Oz.”

So the upturned thumb tells us all we need to know? (Dr. Mehmet Oz/Facebook)

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “This is all about winning elections in order to stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country,” Donald Trump declared Saturday in his “Endorsement of Dr. Oz.” “Dr. Oz is Pro-Life, very strong on Crime, the Border, Election Fraud, our Great Military, and our Vets, Tax Cuts, and will always fight for and support our under-siege Second Amendment.”

A skeptical reaction by the Fletcher character from The Outlaw Josie Wales comes to mind. As does a nagging suspicion about being played.

Hey, someone’s gotta say it.

Regular readers of this column will remember the documentation of Oz’s stances on guns before he was running for office, including hosting “This Is Our Lane: Doctors Speak about Gun Violence,” endorsing infringements “including the banning of semiautomatic firearms” under the guise of “public health,” and further using his mass media platform to “sell” due process-denying “red flag laws” to his low-information audience.

The Gun Feed provided further irrefutable evidence of where Oz’s sympathies lie, including his call for fans to contact Congress to get the CDC back into the anti-gun advocacy through junk science business, and his Moms Demand Action-promoted hosting of anti-gun Rep. Lucy McBath.

“If the former president backs him that will tell all but the most self-deluded ‘3D chess’ apologists all they need to know,” I noted at the time.

Not quite.  The guy made a name for himself on TV by firing people. Perhaps if he was better at picking them in the first place, he wouldn’t need to end up angrily attacking so many he had nothing but high praise for in the beginning.

Consider all the wonderful things he said about William BarrChristopher WrayJeff SessionsMike PenceAnthony Scaramucci“Mad Dog” MattisMark Milley, and more.

Then consider how he described them and their qualifications after their fallings out, respectively: BarrWraySessionsPenceScaramucciMattisMilley

That’s not to say Trump was wrong in his final assessments, but we’re talking about his initial ones here. And noting he’s a man who puts the highest priority on being perceived as a winner, we see the reason he has nothing but superlatives in his latest endorsement:

“Perhaps most importantly, I believe that Mehmet Oz will be the one most able to win the General Election against a Radical Left Democrat looking to do unthinkable harm to our Country.”

How electing someone the smart money says will be a leader in future Republican “compromises” on guns will be a “win” (for anyone who cares about the right to keep and bear arms) is left unstated. But it’s bigger than that, though, right? We need a Republican Senate majority so we can stop dangerous Biden appointments, like the recently confirmed Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, pushed over the top by two other Trump endorsees Susan Collins, and Mitt Romney.

Speaking of that process, it’s on Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans to explain why they didn’t even try to deny a quorum and prevent the vote from coming to the floor. It’s also on each of the national “gun rights groups” that did not urge their members to pressure them, and are now using the existential threat Jackson represents to solicit donations. There was no chance? How would they know without a committed fight, and how would that fight, and its risks, compare against the ones their members will now be forced into?

Now, in Pennsylvania, gun owners will once more be forced into a “lesser of two evils” decision, and one that can’t be resolved in the primary.  Trump’s first choice, Sean Parnell, appeared to be on track with key “conservative” issues, including guns and immigration but suspended his campaign after being accused of abuse by his estranged wife. The other alternative is globalist “Bush Republican” David McCormick who throws gun owners this bone while wearing the obligatory orange vest and cap:

“Protecting our 2nd Amendment Rights – Dave grew up hunting on his family’s farm in Bloomsburg and remains a hunter to this day. He is a strong believer in our Second Amendment rights and will stand up against the extreme left who want to abolish our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.”

An identical testimonial, equally as weasel-worded and meaningless, could have been offered up by Fudds for Biden. This is the best that Pennsylvania Republicans can offer, and the most that Pennsylvania gun owners have the clout to demand? Over the years acceptance of oath-breaking lumps like Tom Ridge, Arlen Specter, and Pat Toomey have convinced the establishment that they can get away with serial betrayals and never pay a price at the polls.

Left unaddressed is what the effects of taking fire out of bellies will have on voter turnout. Won‘t everyone be surprised, including Donald Trump considering his prospects for a 2024 comeback, if their best-laid schemes result in John FettermanMalcolm Kenyatta, or Conor Lamb taking home the prize?

"ALL FOR VACCINES" BECAUSE OF TRUMP APPOINTMENT

WIKIPEDIA EXCERPTS:

Donald Trump's 2018 appointment of Oz to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition was criticized as an example of choosing "pundits over experts"

Oz grew up in a mixed Muslim environment where his father's family practiced more traditional Islam, while his mother's family were more secular Muslims As a child, he spent summers in Turkey.

In late 2020, Oz changed his voter registration to the home of his in-laws in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. His website lists his home as Bryn Athyn.

On November 30, 2021, Oz announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate seat in Pennsylvania in 2022, shortly after moving from New Jersey. He is registered to vote at an address in Montgomery County which is a home owned by his mother-in-law

Oz is fluent in English and Turkish. He is a holder of Turkish and American citizenship, having served in the Turkish Army to retain his Turkish citizenship.

Oz is a Muslim, and says that he has been influenced by the mysticism of Sufi Muslims from central Turkey, as well as the ideas of Emanuel Swedenborg, the 18th-century Swedish theologian.

Oz is a practitioner of transcendental meditation. "When I meditate, I go to that place where truth lives," he said.

Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz discusses COVID-19 'authoritarianism' and argues America's values are under attack on 'Fox & Friends.'

Update: Since publishing this article, Dr. Mehmet Oz has announced he is running for the US Senate in Pennsylvania as a Republican.

His close friendship and professional relationship with major March for Our Lives donor Oprah Winfrey, along with his personal advocacy for citizen disarmament laws, should be enough for Pennsylvania gun owners to tell GOP political strategists that, his fame and fortune notwithstanding, Dr. Oz is a non-starter with them as a Senate candidate. (Dr. Mehmet Oz/Facebook)

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “Celebrity surgeon Mehmet Oz is poised to shake up the Pennsylvania Senate race, bolstered by a vast personal fortune to invest in a 2022 campaign and enviable poll numbers that suggest the Republican would be an immediate front-runner,” the Washington Examiner reported Wednesday. “Oz, 61, has not decided whether to pull the trigger on a bid for the seat being relinquished by retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey. But if the television personality runs, he is prepared to back the effort with millions of his own money and would begin a campaign for the GOP nomination with stratospheric ratings among key demographics, a source close to Oz revealed in an interview…”

To bolster the enthusiasm, the report tells readers Oz “is on good terms with former President Donald Trump and has been friends with the former president for 15 years. Indeed, Trump appointed Oz to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, which included among its members a 2022 Senate candidate who has already received the former president’s endorsement…”

The biggest objection seems to be “culturally conservative pockets of central and western Pennsylvania” may object to Oz moving from New Jersey to Philadelphia “only about a year ago,” leaving him vulnerable to being seen as a “carpetbagger.”

That’s hardly the only one, and the lack of any acknowledgment on how the right to keep and bear arms may influence Pennsylvania GOP choices shows, among other things, DC establishment blinders on Examiner political reporting.

With Toomey taking himself out of the picture, Pennsylvania gun owners have a chance to right some serious Republican wrongs the Party has foisted on them for years. We’re talking about a politician of “Manchin/Toomey” notoriety who “earned” an endorsement from the Giffords gun grab group, and who has been trying for years to enact “bipartisan” infringements. I’ve compiled a partial chronicling of his giving aid and comfort to the enemy (and if you don’t believe that’s what they are you haven’t been paying attention) over at The War on Guns blog, along with other examples of subversive PA GOP offerings like Arlen Specter and Tom Ridge.

Oz will be Toomey on steroids. When it comes to guns, he’ll be able to look at the outgoing senator and say, “Hold my beer.” Among examples it took me mere seconds to find:

“How does this chick come on Dr. Oz all pro-red flag, and go on Liz Wheeler all pro-2A? I’m genuinely confused.”

That Oz, of Turkish ancestry, does not concede genocide by the Ottomans that was partially enabled via a permitting scheme, registration lists, and possession bans is obvious. The other concern all voters should have is with his dual citizenship. As I warned when the GOP was trying to foist another popular “dual citizen” celebrity on Republican voters, gun- (and maid-) grabbing “action hero” Arnold Schwarzenegger:

There’s another oath Arnold took, back in 1983, when he became an American citizen:

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen… But there’s a problem: Arnold apparently never really meant it (any more than he would the governor’s oath) and pulled strings with the Austrian government to retain his citizenship there, as well. This despite the fact that the government of Austria “[i]n general… does not allow dual citizenship…Thus, if a person acquires US citizenship, he/she usually has to renounce the actual citizenship he/she is holding.”

The problem reaches beyond Austrian law. According to Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook, “The U.S. government has generally looked with disfavor on United States Citizens maintaining dual nationality.” Indeed, the US Department of State cautions that “dual nationals owe allegiance to both the United States and the foreign country.”

Beltway swamp schemers who know nothing of principles and for whom the only consideration is an “R” after a winning politician’s name will try to exploit Oz’s fame and fortune to get him in the Senate, and the rights of gun owners be damned. They’re already exploiting his cordial relationship with Donald Trump (and if the former president backs him that will tell all but the most self-deluded “3D chess” apologists all they need to know).

Don’t let Party strategists get away with this.

If Pennsylvania gun owners do, they may as well elect a “gun sense candidate” Democrat, because this guy will vote for every disarmament bill that comes across his desk, assuming he isn’t the one initiating them. Oz will use his “advise and consent” role to confirm officials and judges hostile to your rights and loyal only to their Big Club interests.

Oz will definitely give you the feeling you’re not in the Founders’ Republic anymore. Throw a bucket of water on this now.

The defenders of Oprah guru Mehmet "Mohammed" Oz say that there's something "xenophobic", "Islamophobic" and otherwise bigoted about questioning the progressive Senate candidate's Turkish citizenship.

But running for the Senate with dual citizenship is strange in and of itself. Doing so while being a citizen of an enemy nation tied up with Islamic terrorism is really... unsavory.

But Senator Lindsey Graham would like to borrow that word.

In interviews, Republicans gave Oz what amounts to a leg up in his nasty primary by saying that they have no concerns about his loyalty and no problems with him receiving classified briefings should he become a U.S. senator.

“That whole line of attack is unsavory to me,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). “I have no doubt that he’s loyal to the United States.”

As loyal as Lindsey who never met a Muslim Brotherhood member he would condemn.

Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina broke the GOP silence on Capitol Hill on Sunday to issue a scathing condemnation of President Donald Trump’s ban on travel to the United States from seven Muslim-majority countries.

“We fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism,” McCain and Graham said in a joint statement, adding that Trump’s executive order “may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security.”

Quite a recommendation.

Sen. Lindsey Graham Backs Mehmet Oz: Attacks on Dual Citizenship Are ‘Unsavory’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) backed up celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz on Tuesday, calling attacks on his dual U.S.-Turkish citizenship “unsavory.”

Oz’s campaign for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania has faced scrutiny for his close ties to Turkey, a nation run by autocrat Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In addition to his dual citizenship he has pledged to revoke it if elected, resurfaced photos showed Oz voted in Turkey’s most recent presidential election while reportedly not voting in America’s election.

Oz, who claims he maintains Turkish citizenship to care for his elderly mother, served in Turkey’s military to receive it. Oz also has a real estate portfolio within the country. An advocacy group has called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate Oz for failing to register as a foreign agent for his work with Turkish Airlines.

These connections to Turkey drew criticism from former President Donald Trump’s former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who said he has “judgments about [Oz’s] priorities.

However, Graham came to Oz’s defense in an interview with Politico, calling the attacks on Oz’s Turkish ties “unsavory.”

“That whole line of attack is unsavory to me. I have no doubt that he’s loyal to the United States,” Graham said.

Oz also found support from National Republican Senatorial Chair Rick Scott (R-FL), who does not “have a concern about” Oz’s dual citizenship.

“It’s a legit issue, but I think he’s answered it well. I don’t have any concerns about it myself,” said Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND).

“I can’t imagine why anybody would be against [Oz] just because he maintains dual citizenship,” Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) told Politico.

On the other hand, Democrat Senator and Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair Bob Menendez (D-NJ) strongly criticized Oz for his connections to Turkey, signaling an attack Democrats may use against him if he advances to the general election.

“Why then? Why not now? If you want to be a U.S. senator, you should tell the people of Pennsylvania that your only allegiance is to the United States,” Menendez said.

A Pro-Democrat super PAC has already run an attack ad against Oz for his ties to Turkey that saw support from Armenian-American and Greek-American leaders.

Oz campaign spokesperson Brittany Yanick painted this criticism of Oz as “xenophobic attacks.”

“These are pathetic and xenophobic attacks on Dr. Oz by David McCormick, who should be ashamed of himself,” Yanick said. “There is no security issue whatsoever, and David McCormick knows that Dr. Oz has maintained his dual citizenship to make it easier to help care for his mother who has Alzheimer’s and lives there.”

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

The freedom of speech is under attack everywhere, and it’s not clear which side Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Trump-endorsed candidate for a Senate seat from Pennsylvania, is on. We have the Disinformation Governance Board, the Jan. 6 Committee, ongoing claims that Trump supporters are all “white supremacists” (and “white supremacists” are the nation’s biggest terror threat), and rampaging social media censorship. In that environment, it’s crucial for all candidates, especially America-First candidates, to affirm their support for free speech. Instead, Oz has just called for his primary opponent to be barred from the race, not for any criminal activity or, say, dual citizenship in a hostile nation (Oz is a Turkish citizen), but for something she said in 2015.

Oz has already criticized his principal opponent, Kathy Barnette, for “Islamophobia,” a made-up word designed to inhibit criticism of jihad violence and Sharia oppression, and one that is in common usage among Leftists but rarer among patriots. On Saturday, however, Oz went even farther, charging that Barnette should actually be banned from running for the Senate, and presumably for anything else, because she doesn’t have a sufficiently positive view of Islam.

Oz’s demand raises some interesting questions. On the Left, criticizing Christianity is generally seen as “courageous,” even “heroic,” as can be seen in the enduring popularity of Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, the late Christopher Hitchens, and the like. Criticizing Islam, on the other hand, is “hateful,” “bigoted,” and “racist” as far as Leftists are concerned. If Dawkins or Harris or some other critic of Christianity were to end up running for a Senate seat somewhere in the U.S., would Oz call for this candidate to be disqualified? Almost certainly not.

For criticizing Islam, however, Barnette has aroused Oz’s enduring ire. Apparently back in 2015 she tweeted “Pedophilia is a Cornerstone of Islam,” although she now claims that she “would never have said that.” That’s unfortunate, as she offered no explanation of how the remark appeared on her Twitter feed if she didn’t say it, and it demonstrates that she is allowing Oz to put her on the defensive and that she is unsure how to respond. She would be better off just owning the remark and defending it, as there is certainly ample justification in Islam for thinking this.

Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry. Ishaq Akintola, professor of Islamic Eschatology and Director of Muslim Rights Concern, Nigeria, said in 2016: “Islam has no age barrier in marriage and Muslims have no apology for those who refuse to accept this.” Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-‘Ubeidi, Iraqi expert on Islamic law, said in 2008: “There is no minimum marriage age for either men or women in Islamic law. The law in many countries permits girls to marry only from the age of 18. This is arbitrary legislation, not Islamic law.”

Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, prominent cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, declared in 2014 that there is no minimum age for marriage in Islamic law at all and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.” Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology has ruled that “Islam does not forbid the marriage of young children.”

These authorities say these things because hadiths that Muslims consider authentic records state that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage: “The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).

This doesn’t mean that all Muslims are pedophiles or approve of pedophilia, but it does mean that what Barnette wrote was not unreasonable. Oz, however, wants her banned from the race for it. “It’s reprehensible,” he said, “that she would tweet out something that is defamatory to an entire religion. This state was based on religious freedom. I’m proud as a Pennsylvanian to uphold those founding beliefs that every faith has its merits. Every time she answers a question, she raises more questions. But I think it’s disqualifying to make Islamophobic and homophobic comments, not just for the general election, but the Republican primary as well.”

Disqualifying. So apparently Oz believes that it is or ought to be a condition for running for Senate in the state of Pennsylvania that one thinks Islam is just grand. If we had any journalists, they’d be pressing Oz about whether he thought criticism of Christianity or other religions would likewise disqualify one for office. And they’d be asking about his understanding of the First Amendment and its importance. But since we don’t have any journalists, the good doctor will almost certainly remain unchallenged on these all-important points.

Fact check: Deceptive attack ad from Oz allies falsely depicts Barnette’s positions on Black Lives Matter, race and policing

Analysis: Barnette surge due to GOP self attacks

Still, Barnette has received the backing of powerful conservatives. The Club for Growth, one of the most influential players in Republican primaries, endorsed her Senate bid this week and is spending some

$2 million on ads seeking to boost her candidacy in the final stretch of the primary campaign.

Donald Trump confused a lot of people when he endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race, as Oz has never impressed anyone as an America-First type. In fact, he maintains dual citizenship in the United States and Turkey, even as Turkey has become increasingly hostile to the United States. Oz claims that he maintains Turkish citizenship only so that he can visit his ailing mother, but actually, visas to Turkey are easy to obtain, and Oz obviously has a much greater interest in Turkey than he has been willing to admit, having voted in Turkey’s most recent presidential election, in 2018. Now Oz is raising even more eyebrows among those who should be his core constituency by accusing his Republican primary opponent Kathy Barnette of “Islamophobia.”

Oz made this accusation to Martha MacCallum on Fox News when she pointed out that while Trump had criticized Barnette, he had also praised her. MacCallum asked Oz if he was worried that the former president was “hedging his bets,” which would be entirely understandable given the fact that Barnette’s views are much closer to Trump’s than Oz’s have ever been.

In his answer to MacCallum’s question, Oz opted to go on the attack. Trump, according to Oz, “said she cannot win in November. Frankly, every time Kathy tries to answer a question, it leads to a lot more questions, which is why she’s not answering any questions. Imagine if you’re a Democratic pollster or a partisan and you are watching a woman that said openly homophobic statements and Islamophobic statements, made all kinds of allegations in her past, we can’t even verify very important parts of her history.”

Trump supporters might wonder why Oz is worried about what Democratic pollsters will think. Many would no doubt say that the problem with far too many Republican elected officials is that they’ve been much more concerned about what Democratic pollsters might think than they ought to have been. Trump supporters are generally hungering for politicians who will do what is right for America and Americans without being worried about how what they do will play in the eyes of socialist internationalists who have consistently put the interests of other countries and their own bank accounts above any concern for the well-being of the actual citizens of this country.

In fact, while Oz is upset about Barnette’s alleged “homophobia” and “Islamophobia,” Trump supporters are likely to value a genuinely America-First candidate even above the interests of the LGBTQ lobby and Hamas-linked Islamic groups in the United States. Mediaite referred darkly to “some of Barnette’s controversial past statements, including comparing Islam to Nazism.” This was designed to make the sheep who read Mediaite think that Barnette had sinned unforgivably against the noble religion of peace, but here is what Barnette actually said:

You are not a racist if you reject Islam, or if you reject Muslims, because they are not a race of people. They are a particular view. They are people that have a particular view of the world, and we have a right to discriminate against worldviews.

We discriminated against Hitler’s Nazi Germany view of the world, right? That was a worldview. That’s how he saw the world around him. And we discriminated against it. We rejected it. We rejected Stalin’s view … of the world, right? Because that’s a particular view of the world that we don’t agree with.

That’s not actually comparing Islam to Nazism at all. Barnette was merely saying that everyone agrees that some worldviews, i.e., Nazism and Stalinism, can be and should be rejected and criticized. She also pointed out that to criticize Islam did not mean that one was racist, as Islam is not a race. She did say “if you reject Muslims,” but this was in the context of her explaining that one may reject ideas; it was certainly not a call for any kind of vigilantism, violence, or anything of the kind.

What’s more, Trump supporters saw exactly the same “Islamophobia” charge brought against Trump himself when he tried to restrict immigration from a handful of countries that would not or could not provide adequate information about the people wanting to enter the U.S. It’s unlikely that they will be impressed by Oz’s charge of “Islamophobia” now.

Oz, however, complained that Barnette “won’t respond to questions from anybody, it’s difficult to vet her in a way that Republican primary voters will find acceptable.” He added: “Thankfully, President Trump already said I’m the America first candidate.”

Yes, he did. But so far, Oz himself has not done much in the way of proving him correct.

Since the Debut of Disney/Marvel’s Muslim Superhero, 159,715 People Have Been Murdered for Islam

(See TheReligionOfPeace.com for the jihad body count, day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year, since 2001)

The only reason we began to discuss Islam was jihad, and the one thing that Disney/Marvel has completely kept out of their Muslim superhero comic book is jihad, which debuted in 2013. And since Disney/Marvel will be releasing a live-action series featuring their Muslim superhero, Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan, this month, it’s time, once again, to call out these enemy propagandists in wartime. And keep in mind that there was a time when our enemies paid off sellouts in America to promote enemy propaganda, but now we’re so corrupt that companies do it on their own, without any possibility of reciprocation on the other side. While Disney/Marvel and WarnerBrothers/DC Comics/Discovery promote their Muslim superheroes, there are no such American superhero counterparts in Islamic dictatorships.

I was born to Muslim parents in the Bronx, New York, and I was raised Muslim. We ended up moving to New Jersey, which is where Marvel’s Muslim superhero lives with her family from Pakistan. Growing up, while my family would have been considered “moderate Muslims,” there was nothing moderate about the Jew-hatred in my Muslim family, or the contempt shown towards females. Some members of my family even idolized Hitler, because he killed more Jews than anyone. And yet this casual hatred of others, of almost all others outside of the home, even by what is referred to as “moderate Muslims,” doesn’t appear at all in Disney/Marvel’s Muslim superhero comic book, which makes it nothing short of enemy propaganda for a foreign enemy, produced by a domestic enemy.

I was raised to hate Jews and to treat females like crap in America, and all you read from Disney/Marvel’s Muslim superhero is how good and innocent and morally upright she and her family are. We all know that Disney/Marvel produce fantasy, but once they delve into the real world of Islam and Muslims, and leave out any whiff of shariah law and the never-ending jihad, they have made themselves enemy propagandists, and callous ones at that, as they have to work very hard to try and avoid the fact that hundreds of people are murdered in the name of Islam every single week.

I also find it telling that Disney/Marvel chose to have a young female be its Muslim superhero, considering Islam’s misogyny, as well as its male supremacy. Growing up Muslim, I remember my mother mourning the birth of my nieces, because she believed, with great reason, that their lifetime mistreatment at the hands of male Muslims was inevitable. I can’t think of any Muslim females in my generation who weren’t beaten by their male relatives. And, of course, nothing like that is in Ms. Marvel’s stories. And the only solace I can take in Disney/Marvel’s Islamic propaganda superhero is that even the most dishonest leftist hack reviewers can only pretend to like it, as it might be their least popular character, no matter what these reviewers claim. In a country of 330 million people, the best a Muslim superhero comic book produced by Disney and Marvel Comics, with all of their promotional power, has been able to sell is 12,000 copies a month, and only for a little while.

In other words, even the not exactly self-aware propagandists behind it know that it’s pure propaganda, but dare not cancel it, out of fear of what a potential Muslim backlash could be. (Disney/Marvel have no such concern canceling unpopular black/female/gay superhero comics.) The leftists behind Disney/Marvel first published the comic book out of fear that not doing so might anger their Muslim editor who pitched it, as well as other Muslims, (as they know that angry Muslims act on their anger more than others). They continue publishing it out of fear. In the end, what we have here is enemy propaganda produced by a domestic enemy for a foreign enemy, free of charge, and all in the name of not angering Muslims. What a disgusting, gutless motive behind publishing a comic book, and to continue publishing it, and now, to produce a live-action version of it, that even those who claim to be fans of it aren’t excited about.

And I repeat, again and again: the only reason we began to discuss Islam was jihad. So long-form stories about Muslims that completely avoid jihad are pure Islamic propaganda, whether done by Muslims or their useful idiots.

ANCA Calls for Justice Department Investigation into Dr. Oz’s Turkey Ties~Raises Potential Violation of U.S. Foreign Agent Registration Act

RINOs Are PANICKING As PATRIOTS Taking Over GOP!!!

The ANCA's principled (and hard-hitting) opposition to Dr. Mehmet Oz - as a threat to the integrity of the U.S. Senate - is garnering national media attention - particularly among publications popular among Pennsylvania Republican primary voters.

May 11, 2022

WASHINGTON, DCThe Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has called for a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, amid growing alarm over Oz’s links to Turkey’s dictator Recep Erdogan, his dual Turkey – U.S. citizenship, and open association with Armenian Genocide deniers. With the hotly contested May 17 Republican primary just days away, the ANC of Pennsylvania is expanding its grassroots campaign to ensure voters make informed choices at the ballot box.

In a May 3 letter to the Department of Justice, ANCA Executive Director Aram Hamparian expressed concern that Oz may be in violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) of 1938 for his endorsement agreement with Istanbul-based Turkish Airlines, through which Oz provides “consulting services, certain media, and in-flight film appearances.” FARA requires the registration of, and disclosures by, an “agent of a foreign principal” who, either directly or through another person, within the United States, (1) engages in “political activities” on behalf of a foreign principal; (2) acts as a foreign principal’s public relations counsel, publicity agent, information-service employee, or political consultant; (3) solicits, collects, disburses, or dispenses contributions, loans, money, or other things of value for or in the interest of a foreign principal; or (4) represents the interests of the foreign principal before any agency or official of the U.S. government. In addition, FARA requires agents to conspicuously label “informational materials” transmitted in the United States for or in the interest of a foreign principal.”

A “foreign principal” can be a foreign government, a foreign political party, any person outside the United States (except U.S. citizens who are domiciled within the United States), and any entity organized under the laws of a foreign country or having its principal place of business in a foreign country. “Turkish Airlines is 49.13% owned by the Turkish Government. FARA filings show that Turkish Airlines has been a foreign principal since at least 1975 and as recently as 2015,” asserted Hamparian.

Former U.S. Justice Department FARA unit official David Laufman told The New York Post that an investigation into the matter is warranted. “I think it would be appropriate for [the Justice Department] to undertake logical, analytical, and investigative steps to determine whether Dr. Oz acted as a public relations counsel or publicity agent in the United States on behalf of Turkish Airlines,” Laufman explained. “If he did, he likely would have an obligation to register unless he qualified for an exemption.”

Hamparian outlined the full range of broader national security and Armenian American community concerns in an op/ed in The Washington Times. “For Americans of Armenian heritage – having spent the better part of the past century working, successfully, to end U.S. cover-ups of Turkey’s genocidal crimes – it would represent a betrayal of the worst kind, a shameful rollback of America’s commitment to human rights, to send to the U.S. Senate an ally of Erdogan, the world’s foremost Armenian Genocide denier,” explained Hamparian.

He cited American Enterprise Institute’s Michael Rubin, who has argued that “Oz’s dual citizenship – and his reluctance to renounce Turkish citizenship – will keep the FBI and security managers up at night,” adding that it’s “fair game to question Oz’s judgment embracing the most reactionary elements in Turkish society.”

In an interview with Breitbart News, Hamparian argued “that Mehmet Oz’s ties to Turkey put him “at odds” with putting the interests of Pennsylvanians and Americans first.”

ANC of Pennsylvania Runs Grassroots Voter Awareness Campaign

With the Pennsylvania Senate Republican primary just days away on May 17th, the latest polling shows Mehmet Oz is running neck and neck against Kathy Barnette and David McCormick in the tight seven-candidate race. The ANC of Pennsylvania has ramped up its statewide grassroots campaign to ensure voters know the truth about Oz’s ties to the Turkish government and Erdogan-aligned stakeholders and are able to make informed choices at the ballot box.

“The ANC of Pennsylvania has expressed its concerns over Oz’s candidacy from the very beginning. Deeper ties to the Turkish government and its interests are uncovered every day. Pennsylvanians deserve a Senator who will represent our interests – not those of dictator Recep Erdogan,” explained ANC of Pennsylvania Co-Chair Nora Kzirian.

Last month, fellow ANC Pennsylvania Co-Chair Karine Shamlian told NBC News, “We have Armenians that are Republicans, Armenians that are Democrats, but when it comes down to things that affect the Armenian community and the Armenian diaspora, we rally regardless of the political party. We feel that this Senate seat is in jeopardy of being controlled by a foreign government, quite honestly.”

MIKE POMPEO ON DR. OZ: No, It’s Not Xenophobic to Question a Senate Candidate’s Dual Citizenship in an Enemy Islamist Nation

2020: Oz says Trump was wrong to withdraw from China-controlled WHO, praises Biden for rejoining it

Trump Supporters Couldn’t Stop Booing Dr. Oz at Pennsylvania Rally

An endorsement from former President Donald Trump wasn’t enough to prevent MAGA devotees from repeatedly booing Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz at a campaign rally in Greensburg, Pennsylvania Friday evening.

Although the event was designed to promote Oz’s run for the state’s Senate seat, the majority of the crowd — many of whom waited for hours in the pouring rain — was clearly gathered to see Trump. Reaction to Oz was icy at best, with the audience letting out an audible groan when the former president began stumping for the fellow reality TV charlatan, referring to Oz as his “friend.” The boos were even more apparent after Trump implored Pennsylvania Republicans to “secure a massive victory” for Oz.

The apathetic response to Oz was a running theme throughout the evening. The Daily Beast reports that the crowd jeered when pro-MAGA Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Penn.) explained his reasons for backing Oz in the May 17 primary, while Huffington Post reporter Daniel Marans shared a video on Twitter of Trump supporters booing Oz campaign ads that played before the rally.

Even so, between his usual rants against “liberal Democrats” and self-avowed enemies like Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ken.), Trump attempted to sell his supporters on Oz in a variety of ways, ranging from the banal to the bizarre — even going so far as to remind the audience that Oz was “in the bedrooms” of women across America as if that was a good, totally un-creepy asset for a would-be politician. (This isn’t the first time Trump has praised Oz’s popularity with female voters; after initially endorsing Oz last month, the ex-president boasted that women “are drawn to Dr. Oz for his advice and counsel.”)

“Dr. Oz is running against the liberal Wall Street Republican named David McCormick,” Trump said of Oz’s opponent, adding that the former Under Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for International Affairs “may be a nice guy, but he’s not MAGA.”

Losing out on Trump’s coveted endorsement appears to have Camp McCormick concerned about their prospects in Pennsylvania — and, given the recent success of Trump-backed author-turned-venture capitalist J.D. Vance in Ohio, it’s a fear that’s not entirely unfounded. According to Bloomberg, the candidate outspent Oz by over $6 million last month. In recent days, McCormick has zeroed in on Oz’s dual Turkish citizenship, suggesting the TV doctor’s ties to the country make him a potential threat to American democracy.

“These are pathetic and xenophobic attacks on Dr. Oz by David McCormick, who should be ashamed of himself,” Oz campaign spokesperson Brittany Yanick told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “Now that he lost President Trump’s endorsement, he’s resorted to sad and desperate attacks that are no different than the tropes used against Catholics and Jews.”

Mehmet ‘Mohammed’ Oz’s bizarre Senate campaign responded to criticism about his ties to the Islamist regime in Turkey by playing the “X” card.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday alleged that Republican US Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz may be a security threat if he is elected to office.

Pompeo, a former CIA director and ex-Kansas congressman, said that Oz, who holds dual citizenship, must explain his relationship with Turkey’s government, citing Oz’s decision to vote in Turkish elections as recently as 2018 and his work with Turkish Airlines.

“I was involved in the process which adjudicated efforts to receive national security information — the clearance process inside the United States. And precisely the things that we have seen reported are the kinds of things that those who are making those judgments about whether to provide that sensitive American information — to government officials or to private citizens, to contractors are working on behalf of the American government — these are precisely the kinds of questions they would ask in making such a determination and they get answers. They often get answers under polygraph.”

Oz’s statement that he’ll renounce his Turkish citizenship if elected is already nothing short of bizarre.

And his campaign responded by crying, xenophobia.

The Oz campaign dismissed Pompeo’s criticism.

“These are pathetic and xenophobic attacks on Dr. Oz by David McCormick, who should be ashamed of himself,” said Oz spokeswoman Brittany Yanick.

“Now that he lost President Trump’s endorsement, he’s resorted to sad and desperate attacks that are no different than the tropes used against Catholics and Jews.”

Yanick said, “Dr. Oz has already said when elected to the Senate he would renounce his citizenship. There is no security issue whatsoever, and David McCormick knows that Dr. Oz has maintained his dual citizenship to make it easier to help care for his mother who has Alzheimer’s and lives there.”

You renounce foreign citizenship before you run for public office, not on a conditional basis.

Oz voted in Turkey’s elections so the story about his sick mother is more nonsense.

The big issue though is Turkey itself.

The country is currently run by a brutal Islamist dictator from the local equivalent of the Muslim Brotherhood who supports Islamic terrorists. Turkey is an enemy of the United States specifically and the West in general.

Raising questions about Mehmet ‘Mohammed’ Oz’s ties to Turkey isn’t “xenophobia”. He’s not being attacked for being of Turkish origin, but for maintaining political ties to a country run by allies of Islamic terrorists.

Oz is doubling down by proposing to serve in the Senate without abandoning his Turkish citizenship but avoiding classified materials.

U.S. Senate candidate Mehmet Oz said today that he would forego certain security clearances that are provided to all U.S. Senators to keep his dual citizenship with Turkey…

When asked about his dual citizenship with the United States and Turkey, Oz explained that he keeps his Turkish citizenship to care for his mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. When queried what he would do if this would disqualify him from security clearances, Oz agreed that he would forego them in this situation, noting “I can love my country and love my mom.”

Should we even ask which “country” is under discussion here?

"Celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz allegedly violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) over his failure to register for his work with Turkish Airlines, according to an advocacy group.

Since its enactment into law in 1938, FARA mandates certain requisites for foreign agents:

FARA requires certain agents of foreign principals who are engaged in political activities or other activities specified under the statute to make periodic public disclosure of their relationship with the foreign principal, as well as activities, receipts and disbursements in support of those activities. Disclosure of the required information facilitates evaluation by the government and the American people of the activities of such persons in light of their function as foreign agents."

(Natural News) Dr. Mehmet Oz is running for the United States Senate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and former President Donald Trump is endorsing him.

In a public announcement, Trump wrote that Dr. Oz will help “stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country.” He added that Oz is “brilliant and well-known,” and is “tough” and “smart,” which is what the country needs.

“I have known Dr. Oz for many years, as have many others, even if only through his very successful television show,” Trump said. “He has lived with us through the screen and has always been popular, respected, and smart. He even said that I was in extraordinary health, which made me like him even more (although he also said I should lose a couple of pounds).”

Trump went on to highlight Oz’s academic pedigree, including his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his joint MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Wharton School of Finance.

“He has authored more than 350 original publications, written eight New York Times bestsellers, and received patents for developing medical devices that have improved countless lives and performed thousands of life-saving heart operations,” Trump added.

Rick Perry of Texas also supports Oz

According to Trump, Oz is also pro-life, “very strong on crime, the border, election fraud, our great military and our vets, tax cuts and will always fight for and support our under-siege Second Amendment.”

Oz will also help the United States to become energy independent again – ever since Joe Biden was installed in the White House, America has become energy-dependent.

The greatest potential for Oz, Trump said, is that he actually stands a chance at winning a general election against “a Radical Left Democrat looking to do unthinkable harm to our country.”

Trump said that women are especially drawn to Oz because of his “advice and counsel,” which can help him win an election, even in a usually “blue” state like Pennsylvania.

“He knows his job is to serve every single Pennsylvanian,” Trump added. “Dr. Oz is smart, tough, and will never let you down, therefore, he has my complete and total endorsement. Good luck, Dr. Oz. Our country needs you.”

Rick Perry of Texas has also endorsed Oz, and the doctor also recently appeared in an interview with Fox News‘ Sean Hannity, who also sees Oz as a viable candidate for the Senate in Pennsylvania.

Not everyone is convinced that Oz is a good choice, however. Commenters on news items about Trump’s announcement were critical of both Trump and Oz, with one suggesting that “Oz is another Mitt Romney: saying what he thinks conservatives want to hear.”

A United States Air Force veteran wrote that “Oz is a RINO [Republican in Name Only] and may not actually be a real conservative.”

“Dr. Oz pushed gender ideology on children, defended abortion standards, called for red flag gun laws, helped craft Obamacare, and more,” wrote another.

It was actually quite difficult to find any comments of support for Oz, including someone who said he supports Trump and that he was the “best president ever,” but cannot get on board with Dr. Oz.

“Mattis, Bolton, Barr, Wray, Sessions, Omarosa, Pence, Scaramucci, Tillerson, the list goes on,” wrote another about all of the people Trump endorsed or brought on board in his administration who turned out to be bad picks.

“Trump is and was a great president … but a horrible judge of character,” this same person added.

While Republican Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz has billed himself as a staunch opponent of big corporations, his ties to major technology and pharmaceutical corporations complicate his campaign rhetoric.

Oz, who announced his candidacy in late November, is running for the empty Senate seat left by retiring Republican Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey. The celebrity doctor has made opposition to major technology and pharmaceutical companies a hallmark of his campaign, pitching his experience working in television and exposing scams as an example of his anti-corporate positions.

“I’ve taken on Big Government, Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Ag chemical companies on the show 13 years running, being a porcupine when I needed to be,” Oz said in an interview Saturday with Newsmax.

The comments echo previous remarks made in tweets and merchandising efforts, with Oz promoting his campaign through a tweet that read: “Want a Senator who will stand up to the Washington establishment and Big Tech? Show your support and get your Dr. OZ merch here.”

Yet while Oz’s messaging has frequently invoked his opposition to Big Tech and Big Pharma, the celebrity doctor has been linked to major technology and pharmaceutical companies. (RELATED: Democrat-Linked Group Pushes Ads Hitting Republican Candidate For Not Being Endorsed By The NRA)

Oz Media, the production company behind The Dr. Oz Show, reportedly had deals with pharmaceutical giants Bayer, Novartis, and Aventis, according to a screenshot of corporate clients obtained by The Huffington Post.

The deals were arranged through tech and entertainment giant Sony and involved integrating the Novartis and Bayer brands into The Dr. Oz Show, according to a person familiar with the matter. Oz himself was never directly paid by the pharmaceutical companies.

The Dr. Oz Show also had a lucrative sponsorship deal with wellness company Usana Health Services, which reportedly netted the show earnings in the tens of millions, according to a review of public records by Politico. Usana primarily sells its products in China, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Oz also earned $1.5 million from pharmaceutical sponsorships in five months between 2013 and 2014, according to a ProPublica review.

Oz’s campaign spokeswoman Brittany Yanick pushed back on the implication that the candidate’s work with major technology and pharmaceutical companies undercut his campaign rhetoric, pointing to primary opponent and hedge fund manager David McMormick’s relationship with Chinese business interests.

“Beijing’s favorite candidate David McCormick outsourced PA jobs to Asia, he made millions investing in China in partnership with the CCP, and he gave speeches in China about his desire for China to succeed,” Yannick said.

“Unlike David McCormick, Dr. Oz has taken on big pharma, agro chem, big tech, and the government on many occasions throughout his career, and he will take those experiences to fight for Pennsylvanians in the U.S. Senate,” she added.

Oz has also billed himself as an opponent of China, criticizing McMormick’s ties to China in a campaign ad that calls the hedge fund manager “China’s friend, not ours.”

The celebrity doctor has himself frequently done business in China; in addition to his financial relationship with Usana, Oz has also promoted major Chinese technology companies including Weibo and WeChat, and distributed his show on Chinese entertainment platforms.

According to a 2018 tweet, Oz had launched WeChat and Weibo accounts.

“Aofei Media will be distributing new episodes of my show beginning 12/25 on digital platforms including Youku, Tencent Penguin, iQiyi, Sohu Video & Sina Weibo,” Oz wrote. “Tune in!”

DOCTOR OZ ACCUSED OF MEDICAL QUACKERY BUT GETS A PASS FROM RICK WARREN & THE CHURCH ON NEW AGE/SPIRITUAL QUACKERY

DOCTOR OZ ACCUSED OF MEDICAL QUACKERY BUT NOT NEW AGE/SPIRITUAL QUACKERY
BY RICK WARREN & THE CHURCH
SEE: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/newsletters/2015/newsletter20150422.htm; republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Major secular and Christian news media sources are reporting on an effort by 10 doctors to oust celebrity doctor, Dr. Mehmet Oz, from his faculty position at Columbia University for what the doctors are calling “egregious lack of integrity” and promoting “quack treatments.” The ten doctors wrote a letter to New York’s Columbia University, calling Dr. Oz a quack and an endangerment to his followers for advice he gives about diet and health-related issues. A few reports are coming out stating that at least some of these 10 doctors may not be all that reputable and intentions may have more to do with Dr. Oz’s stance against GMOs and pesticides in food than in does telling his audience how to diet and lose weight. One thing is most likely given Dr. Oz’s high popularity, this will be a story that will stay in the secular headlines for quite awhile.
Amidst this media blitz focusing on some of Dr. Oz’s questionable medical practices, there is another side of this story that has affected mainstream Christianity. Rick Warren and the church seem to be totally unphased by Dr. Oz’s New Age occult spiritual practices. Author Warren B. Smith states that for Rick Warren to invite Dr. Oz into the church (through the Daniel Plan) is “the  inconceivable equivalent of the first century church inviting Simon the sorcerer into the church to help it become more healthy.”
Dr. Oz has involved himself with a number of occultic practices, one being his association with psychic John Edwards who supposedly helps people to talk to their dead loved ones. Oz and Edwards did one TV show together titled “Psychic Mediums: Are They the New Therapists? Find Out if Talking to the Dead Is a New Form of Therapy,” in which the answer to this question from both men was YES. Oz has also written the forewords to a number of New Age and occultic books including Transcendence: Healing and Transformation Through Transcendental Meditation and Quantum Wellness: A Practical and Spiritual Guide to Health and Happiness.

What would the Old Testament prophet Daniel have thought to know that his name is used in a diet plan that was created by New Age occultic teachers such as Dr. Oz. In the appendix of Warren B. Smith’s book A “Wonderful” Deception and in Smith’s booklet Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan: The New Age/Eastern Meditation Doctors Behind the Saddleback Health Plan, Warren Smith states:

One can only wonder if the prophet Daniel’s vision of the end days included a look at Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan—a compromised pastor and three New Age doctors with their psychics, spirit guides, tantric sex, necromancy, Yoga, Reiki, Transcendental and Kundalini “sa ta na ma” meditations and more—all in Daniel’s name. If so, it is no wonder the Bible records that he “fainted” and became “sick” for a number of days (Daniel 8:27).

Rick Warren has put countless unsuspecting people in harm’s way through his Daniel Plan and brought in “doctrines of devils,” which inadvertently undermines the Gospel. The Gospel message that is presented in the Bible is the antithesis of New Age teaching that says man is God and in no need of a Savior.
Below is a reposting of Warren B. Smith’s article/booklet titled Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan – The New Age/Eastern Meditation Doctors Behind the Saddleback Health Plan:
By Warren B. Smith

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.—(2 Corinthians 2:11)

Who would have believed it? Occult/New Age doctors being invited into the church to teach Christians how to be healthy? On January 15, 2011 a fifty-two week health and wellness program—the Daniel Plan—was initiated at Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church. More than six thousand people attended the well promoted and carefully staged event. Warren took the opportunity to announce that his own personal goal was to lose 90 pounds in 2011. The Daniel Plan website states that “the Daniel Plan envisions starting a movement so the result is better physical and spiritual health for current and future generations.”1 It describes how Rick Warren “recruited three best-selling authors” to create and oversee the Daniel Plan Curriculum—Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Daniel Amen, and Dr. Mark Hyman.2 Although these three physicians are all involved with New Age teachings, they describe themselves respectively as a Muslim, a Christian, and a Jew.
On their church’s Daniel Plan website, Saddleback pastor Brandon Cox tried to defend Rick Warren’s indefensible decision to recruit three New Age doctors to implement a Christian health and wellness program. In his “Pastoral Response” to the question “Why did Saddleback Church choose to use these Doctors who have been linked to other beliefs?,” Cox wrote:
“Pastor Rick knows each of these Doctors personally and has the utmost trust in their ability to advise us about matters related to physical health.” In a statement reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood’s “grandmother,” Cox goes on to state: “These Doctors are helping us as friends, but are in no way advising our church on spiritual matters.”3
By repeating and emphasizing the term “physical health” three times in the response, Saddleback was obviously trying to distance itself from Oz, Amen, and Hyman’s New Age beliefs. But the “we’re only using them for physical health purposes” defense was not convincing. All three physicians are alternative medicine/holistic health practitioners who teach the indivisibility of “mind, body, spirit” in achieving optimum well-being. In other words, their New Age spiritual beliefs are necessarily embedded in their medical practice, their best-selling books, and their public appearances.
Daniel PlanDr. Mehmet Oz
Dr. Oz is the cardiovascular surgeon who was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show for five years before gaining his own popular daytime TV show. He also has a daily talk show on Oprah & Friends satellite radio and writes columns for several magazines including Oprah’s O Magazine. Operating out of Columbia University’s Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Oz is like a modern-day shaman as he mixes traditional medicine with a wide variety of occult/New Age practices. In The Way of the Shaman, a “foremost resource and reference on shamanism,” Michael Harner—an anthropologist who “has practiced shamanism and shamanic healing” for several decades4—gives the following definition of a shaman:

A shaman is a man or woman who enters an altered state of consciousness—at will—to contact and utilize an ordinarily hidden reality in order to acquire knowledge, power, and to help other persons. The shaman has at least one, and usually more, “spirits” in his personal service.5
The following is a sampling of what Dr. Oz subtly, and not so subtly, incorporates into his medical practice and into his life. For instance, Dr. Oz’s prominent endorsement is displayed on the front cover of self-described psychic Ainslie MacLeod’s book The Instruction: Living the Life Your Soul Intended. Juxtaposing the phrase “spiritual well-being” with the word “purpose,” Oz writes:
I recommend this book to those who seek greater spiritual well-being and a better understanding of their life’s purpose.6
In Oz’s endorsement of another Ainslie MacLeod book, The Transformation: Healing Your Past Lives to Realize Your Soul’s Potential, Dr. Oz makes it clear that his approach to physical health is inextricably bound up with his beliefs regarding spiritual health. They cannot be neatly separated out as Rick Warren’s Saddleback staff would have everyone believe. Dr. Oz’s front cover endorsement states:

Ainslie MacLeod is at the frontier of exploration into the soul and its profound influence on our physical selves.7

In The Transformation, MacLeod’s spirit guides tell MacLeod’s readers “that we are standing on the brink of the greatest leap in human consciousness in 55,000 years.”8 Later, in a psychic reading that MacLeod gives to one of his clients, his spirit guides refer his client to Dr. Daniel Amen for help.9 Amen, of course being one of the other two Daniel Plan physicians. In The Instruction, among other things, MacLeod teaches readers how to meditate and contact spirit guides. In fact, spirit guides are referred to a whopping 175 times in the book—40 times before you even get to Chapter One. In his introduction, MacLeod describes how the skeptic in him used to read a book like his and think—“Who died and made this guy an expert?” In his own case, MacLeod said the answer was his spirit guides—one of them being his deceased Uncle John.10
Dr. Oz’s New Age affinity for psychics, spirit guides, past lives, and contacting the dead was showcased on his March 15, 2011 program—just two months after the launch of the Daniel Plan—titled, “Psychic Mediums: Are they the New Therapists?” The promo on his website read: “Can talking to lost loved ones heal your grief? Hear why psychic John Edward believes you can talk to the dead.”11
On a January 6, 2010 Dr. Oz Show, Dr. Oz revealed what he believed to be “the most important alternative medicine treatment” for his viewers in that coming year. His #1 “Oz’s Order” was to “Try Reiki”12—an occult bodywork practice that incorporates the channeled guidance of spirit guides. Dr. Oz was reported in one press release as stating: “Reiki is one of my favorites, we’ve been using it for years in the Oz family, and we swear by it.”13
On a video on Dr. Oz’s website, New Age leader Deepak Chopra teaches viewers how to meditate.14 Chopra’s 2009 book Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul features Dr. Oz’s back cover endorsement.15 Dr. Oz is a personal practitioner of Transcendental Meditation,16 which was founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He has also practiced Yoga for over twenty years17 and is devoted to the New Age teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg—teachings that resonate with the mystical Sufi branch of the Muslim faith that he and his wife most identify with.18
Dr. Oz wrote the Foreword to US—a New Age book written by his wife Lisa, who is a Reiki Master19—a book that opens with a quote on oneness by New Age patriarch Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. In his Foreword, Oz credits his wife’s spiritual influence while also mentioning that a number of years ago he “matriculated at Oprah University.”20 Dr. Oz endangers those who put their trust in him by interjecting his occult/New Age beliefs into his medical practice.
Presumably, the “Open Heart meditation” given to Ainslie MacLeod by his spirit guides21 is not used by Dr. Oz before he does open heart surgery. One thing is for spiritual sure, Dr. Oz may be a skilled cardiovascular surgeon, but spiritually he is overlooking one of the most important aspects of the heart. God, speaking through the prophet Jeremiah, warns, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Multiple references in the Bible also warn about the extremely dangerous and deceptive nature of “familiar” and “seducing” spirits that Dr. Oz is in the process of normalizing through his extreme influence in the world and now in the church (see Leviticus 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10-12; 1 Timothy 4:1, etc.).
Dr. Daniel Amen
Dr. Amen is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, best-selling author, and medical director of the Amen Clinics for Behavioral Medicine. In his book Change Your Brain, Change Your Life, he encourages readers to “Learn and use self-hypnosis and meditation on a daily basis.”22 In Change Your Brain, Change Your Body, Amen, a self-professed Christian, specifically recommends a Hindu Kundalini form of meditation called Kirtan Kriya. He instructs his readers to chant “sa ta na ma” repeatedly while simultaneously doing repetitive finger movements.23 In a New Age world that says “everything happens for a reason” and “there are no accidents,” the first five letters of this Hindu meditation spell the name of Satan. The last three letters just so happen to be the abbreviated letters of the American Medical Association (AMA). Is this pure coincidence, some kind of cosmic joke, or spiritual mockery?

In his book The Brain in Love (formerly titled Sex on the Brain), Dr. Amen recommends tantric sex to his readers. He writes that tantra “is a term applied to several schools of Hindu yoga in which sex is worshipped.”24 He states that “[s]ome tantra yoga teachers recommend meditative practices that also share elements with Kundalini yoga, where subtle streams of energy are raised in the body by means of posture, breath control, and movements.”25 He later adds:

After you have agreed to safe boundaries, you can take sex to a new level by investing in a few books or magazines. I write for Men’s Health magazine and it is always filled with great sex tips for couples. Cosmopolitan and other magazines have playful ideas as well. Books on tantric sex or role-playing games can also be fun.”26

Dr. Amen’s fascination with tantric sex and Kundalini yoga is very similar to the teachings of Indian gurus like Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and Swami Baba Muktananda. Dr. Amen’s New Age sympathies are also evident in his willingness to write the Foreword to author Lucinda Bassett’s The Solution. In her book, Bassett quotes New Age leaders Marianne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, the Dalai Lama, Neale Donald Walsch, and others. She describes Walsch as “a spiritual messenger whose best-selling books and lectures profoundly touch the world.”27
Dr. Mark Hyman
Dr. Hyman is the chairman of the Institute of Functional Medicine and author of the best-selling book The UltraMind Solution. With its front cover endorsement by Dr. Mehmet Oz, The UltraMind Solution offers practical medical advice while at the same time recommending a number of New Age resources to his readers. For example, he recommends the website of New Age author and guided imagery proponent Belleruth Naparstek.28 Her books and materials are designed to help people meditate, become more psychic, and connect with spirit guides. Her website describes how her materials are used worldwide by patients, hospitals, HMO’s, government agencies, etc. Dr. Hyman and New Age leader Dr. Bernie Siegel are listed as two of Naparstek’s “contributing health and mind-body health practitioners.”29 Siegel, of course being the New Age leader Rick Warren used to introduce the idea of hope and purpose in The Purpose-Driven Life. Like Dr. Oz and Dr. Amen, Dr. Hyman recommends meditation and yoga to his readers.30

Dr. Hyman endorsed a New Age book titled Power Up Your Brain—The Neuroscience of Enlightenment. It is co-authored by shaman/medium Alberto Villoldo and neurologist David Perlmutter. The Foreword from the publisher states:

And now two men, two seers—a shaman and a scientist—are combining their experiences and expertise to explore the totality that includes all of the spirit world and all of the scientific world—as One.31

David Perlmutter writes:

For it had become clear to us that access to the Great Spirit or Divine Energy—that natural force which is called by so many names—is available to all. In a sense we are all shamans, and the most advanced teachings in cellular biology are validating lifestyle activities that for centuries, have been paving the way to enlightenment through meditative practices not just for the chosen few but for all who care to learn. Our collaboration explores the implications of this not only for individuals but for all of humanity.32

Villoldo—who spoke at a 2011 Palm Springs Prophets Conference with New Age leader Barbara Marx Hubbard33— writes:

During my years studying with the shamans, I learned about their belief in the Divine Mother, which we each have the potential to discover in nature. This was not the bearded old man whose image I had come to associate with “God.” Rather, this was a force that infused all creation, a sea of energy and consciousness that we all swim in and are part of. I came to understand that our Western notions of the divine are perhaps a masculine version of this life force that infuses every cell in our bodies, that animates all living beings, and that even fuels stars.34

Power Up Your Brain includes a chapter recommending various “Shamanic Exercises” that include an invocation to the “Great Serpent.”35 Dr. Hyman’s back cover endorsement of this book sits alongside New Age leaders Bernie Siegel and Greg Braden.
In his endorsement, Hyman betrays his belief in shamanism and the inextricable New Age link between physical and spiritual health. He writes:

The shaman and physician for millennia were the same person until the 19th century when they were split apart in the name of science. Now through the lens of 21st-century science, Villoldo and Perlmutter bring them back together, illuminating the web that links together our physical and metaphysical energy. For anyone feeling a loss of energy of body or soul, Power Up Your Brain is your guide to restoration and rejuvenation of your deepest energies.

Also referring to “restoration” in The UltraMind Solution, Dr. Hyman lists three New Age centers in his “Resources” section. Under the heading of “Restorative and Educational Retreats,” he recommends the Omega Institute, the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and the Shambhala Mountain Center.36 Ainslie MacLeod—the Dr. Oz endorsed psychic—is a “faculty member” at both the Kripalu Center and the Omega Institute.37 The Omega Institute offers a number of workshops led by key New Age leaders like Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, and Alberto Villoldo. Classes such as “Conversations with God,” “Contacting the Spirit World,” “How Shamans Dream the World into Being,” and “Bootcamp for Goddesses,” are readily available to those following Dr. Hyman’s advice.38 And at the Dr. Hyman endorsed Kripalu Center, New Age leader Deepak Chopra offers a workshop on his Dr. Oz endorsed book, Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul. In case people can’t make it to Saddleback Church, Dr. Daniel Amen also teaches a workshop at Kripalu.
Key Scriptures Regarding Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. —(2 Corinthians 6:14)
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. —(Ephesians 5:11)
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. —(1 Corinthians 10:21)
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. —(Romans 14:13)

Shepherding the Church into a New Age/New Spirituality
In the 1990s, a well-known Christian leader rightly warned that alternative medicine and holistic health can provide an easy entryway for deceptive New Age teachings. He further warned that changing your diet can also end up changing your worldview. In other words, sometimes losing weight can also mean losing your soul. Speaking from his leadership role with the Christian Medical Association, Dr. David Stevens also urges great discretion regarding alternative health practitioners. He states: “Not only do we have to make a choice; we also have to evaluate the trustworthiness of each messenger and the validity of the message.”39

The Christian Handbook to Alternative Medicine also warns, “Consider carefully not only the therapy but also the character and worldview of those offering the treatment.”40 Thus, it is definitely “buyer beware” when it comes to mixed-bag physicians like Oz, Amen, and Hyman. But that doesn’t seem to matter to Rick Warren as he openly aligns himself with these New Age doctors and promises to make their joint Daniel Plan a worldwide phenomenon. Instead of sounding a warning trumpet and protecting the church from three New Age physicians, Warren praises them and trumpets his ungodly alliance with them.
It doesn’t make any difference in God’s scheme of things if Rick Warren stands slim and trim in front of an adoring church audience after losing 90 pounds. What may be remembered is that in the midst of all the self-congratulatory statistics and frenzied media hoopla, a finger suddenly appeared on the wall behind Rick Warren and wrote the following:

Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. —(Daniel 5:27)

DOCTORS CALL FOR REMOVAL OF “DR. OZ”

(Friday Church News Notes, April 24, 2015,www.wayoflife.orgfbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - Ten top medical doctors have called upon Columbia University to remove Mehmet Oz (“Dr. Oz”) from its faculty. Oz is vice chairman and professor of surgery, but in spite of his impressive credentials, he is a promoter of quackery. The open letter, issued by a group of doctors led by Henry Miller of Stanford University, says that Oz has “misled and endangered” the public and has “manifested an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain” (“Physicians Demand Removal of ‘Dr. Oz,’” Fox News, Apr. 17, 2015). Last year, a U.S. Senate panel accused Oz of endorsing products that are medically unsound and making claims that are not substantiated by fact. Mehmet Oz, together with Daniel Amen and Mark Hyman, have been highly promoted by Rick Warren in spite of their New Age principles. The three men created Warren’s Daniel Plan. Oz is not only a promoter of quack diets; he is a follower of Emanuel Swedenborg, who entertained spirit guides and was deeply involved with Eastern mysticism (“Special Report,” Lighthouse Trails, Jan. 11, 2011). Oz also promotes Reiki, an occultic practice that allegedly channels “universal healing energy.” Amen teaches Eastern meditation, promotes Reiki, and deals in pop psychology and self-help. Amen’s The Brain in Love and Making a Good Brain Great promote Hindu-style meditation through the vain repetition of the alleged primal sounds. Mark Hyman promotes meditation based on Buddhist principles. He claims that “diseases don’t exist; their symptoms are related to effects” (“Rick Warren’s Celebrity Health Plan Draws Thousands,” The Orange County Register, Jan. 16, 2011). To say that disease doesn’t exist apart from human causes is New Age nonsense. While it is true that diet and exercise can affect one’s health, all diseases are not the result of lifestyle. We are fallen sinners who live in a sin-cursed world, and disease and death are realities that affect every individual regardless of his lifestyle. In the book The Bible and Diet, we warn that the alternative health care field is permeated with New Age philosophy. A friend observed that health food stores are New Age chapels. Beware! Although we know that it is wise and godly to take care of one’s body, the Bible doesn’t have very much to say about it. What the Bible does have a lot to say about is spiritual health and separation from paganism! “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils” (1 Corinthians 10:21).

How Could John Fetterman Have Won? Every Possible Answer Is Bad in a Different Way.

Illegal Electioneering For John Fetterman & Josh Shapiro Caught on Undercover Video by Project Veritas Action

It’s hardly even believable: the stuttering, sputtering John Fetterman, a stroke victim who only rarely manages to utter a complete sentence, coasted to victory in the Pennsylvania Senate race. Like Joe Biden, Fetterman is so clearly unfit for his new job that no sane person could possibly think otherwise; it boggles the mind to think that any Pennsylvania voter could have seen any of Fetterman’s incoherent ramblings over the last few weeks, both in his debate with Dr. Mehmet Oz and in his campaign rallies, and thought, “That’s the man I want representing Pennsylvania in the Senate.” But Fetterman will show up in the Senate in January — if someone can guide him to where it is — and all the explanations of why this ridiculous charade is set to happen are bad in different ways.

The immediate possibility, of course, is that Fetterman’s victory is due to chicanery at the ballot box. Over at Townhall, Mia Cathell reported Wednesday that “in an undercover video filmed by Project Veritas Action (PVA) journalists at a Philadelphia polling location, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe alleges that the investigative group’s journalists were told whom to vote for mere feet outside of one of the city’s polling places. Two of the interactions were captured on camera.” The person telling voters how to vote was, of course, a Democrat Party operative. O’Keefe explains, “This is referred to as electioneering.” It’s also illegal.

This is striking, but it isn’t evidence of large-scale ballot box tampering. In a clear sign that they suspected they would have to cheat in order to win, the Fetterman camp filed suit the other day to have ballots counted even if they were marked with the wrong date. But as it turns out, they didn’t even need the tainted ballots to put their man over the top. So what does explain the victory of a candidate who is without any doubt the least competent and capable individual ever to stand as a candidate for the United States Senate?

One answer could be the weakness of his opponent. Trump-endorsed candidates have generally done well all over the country, but Dr. Oz was different. While he trumpeted his connection to Trump during the primary, after he became the Republican candidate, Oz retooled his website and Twitter page to remove all mention of Trump, thereby giving the impression that he was opportunistically using Trump to corral America-First voters into his camp but that his commitment to their cause wasn’t sincere. Oz also aroused suspicion by maintaining his status as a Turkish citizen at a time when Turkey is growing progressively more authoritarian and hostile to the United States. The MAGA base was what would have elected Oz, and he did his best to alienate it. Once that was done, all he had were Pennsylvania Romneyites and RINOs, and there proved to be not enough of them to put him over.

Related: If Elected, How Long Would Fetterman Last in the Senate?

The other obvious answer is that Pennsylvania voters wanted John Fetterman in the Senate. They saw that he was obviously unable to discharge the duties of the office for which he was running and simply didn’t care. Fetterman’s victory proves that the Democrats’ willingness to put up with Old Joe Biden’s obvious incapacity was no anomaly. The Fetterman victory is an indication that the Leftist elites are just rubbing it in now, showing that they have now filled a sufficient number of people with their propaganda that they can elect literally anyone to any position they want and perpetuate the governance of a shadowy, behind-the-scenes oligarchy. Fetterman, like Biden, will simply serve as a puppet for the people who are pulling the strings, and that seems to be just fine with Pennsylvanians. They elected a puppet knowing that he is a puppet, but he is a puppet for what they want: the gutting of the American economy, open borders, high crime rates, skyrocketing gas prices, continuing assaults on the freedom of speech, and all the rest of contents of the Democrats’ grab-bag of horrors. Fetterman may be incapacitated, but he’s another vote for the Left’s agenda, and that’s all that matters.

The great strength of democratic rule is that you get what the people want. The great weakness of Democratic rule is that you get what the people want. Pennsylvania has willingly elected an incoherent idiot who can do nothing but obey the bidding of his sinister, malevolent masters. They’ll get what they wanted, in spades.

IT CAME TRUE: Analysis warns Democrats were plotting to steal elections in key battleground states during midterms

(Natural News) Everyone who can think independently and look at evidence knows that the Dinesh D’Souza-produced documentary “2,000 Mules” proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection was stolen from him.

As Revolver News reported on Nov. 4, 2020, in the early morning hours after Election Day, Trump was up by substantial numbers of votes in the battleground states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, all states he won four years earlier, only to ‘lose’ them by the end of the week after Democrats flooded deep-blue districts (like Philadelphia and Detroit, where Democrats own the political machines) with phony ballots.

Pennsylvania, in particular, is a hot mess. There, Trump was up by a walloping 700,000 votes on the night of Nov. 3 but wound up ‘losing’ to Joe Biden by thousands of votes four days later, because it took ‘so long to count’ the ballots. In actuality, readers may recall that Democratic strongholds in battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Michigan, shut down counting in the early morning hours, pledging to resume operations the next morning. That was unprecedented.

Worse, the report noted, many of the changes in election procedures were implemented by judges and secretaries of state and were in direct violation of existing state laws regarding the governing and handling of elections passed by the legislatures. Only, none of that mattered because not a single federal court or the U.S. Supreme Court would hear lawsuits brought by Trump’s campaign alleging that the changes made in the months and weeks before the election were illegal.

Now, it appears that 2022 may not be any different than 2020.

“Two years have passed. The first major post-2020, post-Covid election is upon us. What happens on Tuesday will be the trial run for what happens in 2024,” Revolver News noted in a separate report published on Monday. “The watchword for Tuesday night isn’t ‘Stop the Steal.’ It is ‘Expect the Steal… And Be Ready.’

The report continued:

Consider Pennsylvania, with its crucial Senate contest between Mehmet Oz and The Creature Who Answers to the Name John Fetterman. Two years ago, Pennsylvania’s election process probably featured more red flags than any other closely contested state. The state took a whole week to count its votes, with Biden only overtaking Trump’s large election-night lead on Friday morning.

Pennsylvania let votes count even if they arrived after Election Day, even if they had no postmark, and even if they didn’t have a matching signature. Twenty Pennsylvania counties used millions of dollars donated by Mark Zuckerberg to finance their election activities, including the famous unsupervised “Zuckerboxes,” which made it virtually impossible to enforce the state’s relatively strict limits on ballot harvesting. When Trump supporters tried to independently monitor drop boxes, state attorney general Josh Shapiro (now running for governor) threatened them with prosecution.

So, what are things like two years later? Pennsylvania’s Republican legislature passed bills to ensure signature verification and photo ID, and to ensure proper poll-watching… but Democratic governor Tom Wolf vetoed those bills. So in Pennsylvania this cycle, things are substantially like they were two years ago. And, yep, the state is even warning that it’s going to take a long time to count ballots again. So, unless Mehmet Oz absolutely buries Fetterman, how much confidence should we have in a perfectly aboveboard election in the Keystone State?

Fortunately, Revolver News reported, not all states are in such bad shape. Others led by Republican legislatures and governors like Georgia and Arizona made substantial improvements to voter integrity, including passing legislation that preempted Democratic attempts to implement changes to existing laws like adding scores of unmonitored drop boxes.

“Arizona banned same-day voter registration (just a precaution, as it wasn’t in use before), created a new tracking system for early ballots, and passed new requirements to present a photo ID when dropping off an early ballot. Georgia passed a law sharply restricting the use of ballot drop-off boxes, to prevent the fiasco of entirely unmonitored 24/7 boxes used in 2020. Georgia also banned Brad Raffensperger’s stunt of sending an absentee ballot to all voters in the mail, and finally required the use of ID for absentee voting as well as in-person,” the report said.

That’s the good news. The bad news is that several other battleground states have GOP legislatures but Democratic governors who blocked voter integrity efforts.

And now we have the White House claiming it’ll take “days” to count ballots in some states as if that’s perfectly normal. It isn’t.

The New American: The Red Wave That Wasn’t ~The New “Normal” Casts Doubt on Election Results

BY STEVE BONTA

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

A red reaction? Perhaps. A red wave? Definitely not. Despite two years of appalling leadership by the Biden administration and an ultra-radicalized Democratic Party, election results for what was touted by the likes of Newt Gingrich as possibly the biggest Republican victory in a century have been disappointing, to say the least. Not only has the GOP so far failed to pick up the net one seat required to take control of the Senate, they actually lost an open seat in Pennsylvania, and, as of this writing, look likely to pick up just one more Senate seat, in red-leaning Nevada, leaving them likely one Senate seat short of control. Meanwhile, the GOP has yet to wrest control of the House from the Democrats, and the electoral math at the time of this writing suggests that, in the end, they may fall one or two seats short of the coveted 218. And even should they prevail, they will almost certainly command an even thinner minority than the five-seat margin the Democrats currently enjoy. As a visibly disappointed Senator Lindsey Graham told NBC news late last night, when the contours of this election were first becoming clear, “definitely not a Republican wave, that is for darn sure.”

No matter how the contest for House and Senate control shakes out in the coming days and weeks (the critical Georgia election has already triggered a runoff), bragging rights go to the Democrats. After all, despite two years of rising inflation, extreme radical social-justice posturing, relentless attacks on the half of America that supported Trump, destructive energy policies, and all-around executive ineptitude, the Democrats not only bid fair to hold onto their razor-thin control of the Senate, they managed to get Pennsylvania’s incoherent John Fetterman elected over Trump-backed Mehmet Oz, flipping that crucial Senate seat, and both defended and flipped a significant number of House seats that they were expected to lose. Meanwhile, GOP darling Mayra Flores, who turned heads last June when she won a special House election in one of Texas’ most blue districts, was promptly unseated by Democratic challenger Vicente Gonzalez, putting an end to a short-lived fairy-tale candidacy and calling into question the widely circulated narrative that Hispanics are abandoning the radicalized Democratic Party in droves.

As for the notorious “Squad” members led by the likes of AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar, they not only cruised to re-election but also added significantly to their numbers with the election of at least four more like-minded young Marxists masquerading as progressives and social justice warriors. In Texas, Greg Casar won resoundingly in a Democratic district stretching from San Antonio to Austin. The “labor organizer” was endorsed by AOC, who touted his credentials as a supporter of open borders. In Florida, Maxwell Frost, who was born in 1996 and claims to be the first Generation Z member of Congress, has pledged to “end gun violence, win Medicare For All, transform our racist criminal justice system, and end the climate crisis.” Frost’s website touts his anti-gun and pro-abortion activism, including his successful lobbying of President Biden and congressional Democrats to end the Hyde Amendment, which until 2022 prohibited the use of federal funding, such as Medicaid, to pay for abortions. Summer Lee, a self-proclaimed “dedicated organizer, activist, and advocate for social justice” and Pennsylvania state legislator, successfully flipped one of 11 GOP-held seats. And in Illinois, Delia Ramirez, the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants, has pledged “to fight for the rights of all working families struggling to survive, whether it be housing justice, fully funding public schools, women’s reproductive rights, or Medicare for all.”

At the state level, well-funded Democrat Josh Shapiro easily defeated Doug Mastriano for the Pennsylvania governor’s seat, while MAGA favorite Kari Lake trails lackluster gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs in Arizona at the time of this writing. Democratic Kansas governor Laura Kelley, meanwhile, despite being regarded as a top Republican pickup opportunity in a state won handily by Trump, defeated Republican challenger Derek Schmidt in a closely contested race that, like so many others this election, ultimately broke the Democrats’ way.

On the other hand, the GOP made gains in some unexpected places, picking up seats in New York State, including a district on Long Island, won by Democrat Tom Suozzi by 17 points in 2020. The winner, openly homosexual Republican George Santos, triumphed over openly homosexual Democrat Robert Zimmerman, marking the first-ever congressional race pitting two openly homosexual candidates against one another. Also in New York, Republican Michael Lawler won a historic upset victory over incumbent Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney, a prominent Democrat who led the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In once-purple Florida, the GOP now enjoys a large majority in the state legislature, and governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio were re-elected by resounding majorities. Utah’s Senator Mike Lee, one of the Senate’s most reliable constitutionalists, was re-elected for a third term despite strong opposition from some in Utah’s RINO establishment and a non-endorsement from fellow Utah GOP Senator Mitt Romney. In Wisconsin, incumbent GOP Senator Ron Johnson, a staunch opponent of Covid vaccine mandates, survived a strong challenge by Democrat Mandela Barnes, while former Navy SEAL Derrick Van Orden flipped Wisconsin’s 3rd congressional district red for the first time in 26 years.

One possibly significant outcome of the underwhelming GOP performance is the chorus of voices now blaming Trump for the poor showing. Several prominent Trump-endorsed candidates, such as GOP Senate candidate Mehmet Oz and gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania, lost embarrassingly, while the only candidate that Trump badmouthed immediately prior to the election, Florida’s Ron DeSantis, posted an overwhelming win and is now being touted as the favorite for the GOP nomination in 2024. Meanwhile, Georgia Republican governor Brian Kemp, with whom Trump feuded over the 2020 election results, defeated perennial radical Democrat candidate and all-around malcontent Stacey Abrams for the second time. While we hate to give the mainstream news media too much credit, it is undeniably true that Trump’s seeming inability to ever take the high road in any public controversy has alienated many on the Right, not all of them RINOs and neocons.

Of course, partisan differences are not nearly as significant as the bipartisan assault on limited constitutional government that has been going on for several generations. While it has become more and more generally true that the Democratic Party is the principal refuge for radical Marxists, leftist agitators, and corrupt ward-heelers who do not scruple to deliver the vote in swing districts by fair means or foul, it is by no means true that the Republicans, left unsupervised, can be depended upon to reverse the flood of leftist usurpations. Too often Republican-controlled Congresses and White Houses do little more than maintain the status quo until the next electoral onslaught of radical leftists drives them back into hiding.

With the outcome of this election still very much in doubt, it is premature to draw too many conclusions. But it is genuinely shocking that two years of extreme radicalism, ineptitude, and outright war on the American economy has moved so few voters. The fact that one of the worst presidential administrations in American history would have so many supporters should give every discerning American pause for thought regarding where we stand as a nation and where we are likely to go in the near future. If the elections of 2022 are any indication, America is now rushing headlong down the proverbial road to serfdom, fueled by broad-based ignorance of our history and founding principles, indifference to our slow-motion economic collapse, and fierce resentment of the moral restraints that once made a free republic possible. Unless we correct our course quickly, we are likely to have more such electoral surprises in store in the next several election cycles — until the stranglehold of Marxists over our cultural and political institutions is complete, and elections become completely moot.

May we rediscover the road to freedom before it is everlastingly too late.

In 2020, the excuse for long delays in vote counting, for keeping Republican monitors away from watching the vote counting, for disregarding state constitutions and long-established election integrity laws, for the use of unverifiable mail-in voting, and the like was the Covid pandemic. In the 2022 mid-term elections, it appears that Democrats, pleased with how all of that helped them in the last election, want to normalize such practices that cause serious questions about election integrity.

While those who lose an election are understandably unhappy, they are willing to accept the results if they perceive those results as free and fair. After all, they can assume that they can compete again in the next election, and have a reasonable chance of winning then. But if citizens believe the election results are pre-determined and rigged, then they will lose faith in the system.

In mid-term elections, it is quite common for the party that does not have the White House to pick up seats in the House of Representatives. For example, President Trump’s Republican Party lost more than three dozen seats in 2018, and President Barack Obama’s Democratic Party lost 63 seats in 2010. Because of this, Republicans have had hopes of a “Red Wave” in this election.

Democrats, on the other hand, along with their allies in the mainstream media, have begun to discuss the possibility that this Red Wave might just be a “Red Mirage.”

Their argument is that, while Republicans will appear to be winning big as the returns roll in on election night, more votes can be expected to be counted after election night — mostly from “mail-in” ballots — which will just happen to be so heavily Democrat that they will maintain their control in the Senate, if not the House of Representatives.

It is not surprising that Pennsylvania’s Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman has actually filed a lawsuit to mandate that undated mail-in votes be counted, despite the fact that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has already ruled recently that they could not be counted.

Furthermore, VOX reported, “We won’t know all the midterm results on election night. That’s normal.” If it were just one media source making that argument, then it could be dismissed, but it is almost as though they have circulated a memo to convince Americans that this is the new normal.

But this is not “normal.” In France, for example, all votes are by paper ballot and mail-in votes are not allowed. And the results are reported within 24 hours. That is the way it pretty much used to be in the United States.

Writing on Twitter, columnist Auron MacIntyre observed, “They are literally going to tell us every election now that sure it looks like the GOP won but just wait, we’ll count the votes until they didn’t.”

It is not certain whether it will make a huge difference, but reports from across the country of voting irregularities on election day have raised some concerns.

Of particular concern — to Republicans — is that the Biden Justice Department is actually sending “observers” to Maricopa County (essentially Phoenix) in Arizona. This is a violation of Arizona law — outsiders monitoring election day voting and counting — but apparently, the Biden Administration is prepared to flout Arizona law. For what purpose? Perhaps to intimidate local election officials into allowing questionable election practices that favor Democrats.

An 84-year-old in Queen Creek, Arizona, for example, was reported as having voted in person and being told to just drop his ballot in a big cardboard box, despite voting machines being available. “I am going to be really upset if this is an attempt to screw this election up again” — an obvious reference to the controversy over the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, when it appeared on election night that President Donald Trump had been re-elected, only for Americans to wake up and being told that some new votes having swung the election in favor of Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden.

Like many Americans, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas recalled in his new book, Justice Corrupted, that he went to bed on election night with every indication that Republicans had retained the presidency.

But, of course, mail-in votes were a major factor in the Pennsylvania presidential contest, for example. These ballots were sent — in violation of the law — to addresses where someone had been registered to vote but were then returned without any proof that the ballot was actually cast by that person. In other words, people move or die. Then, new people move into the house or apartment. It is madness — or malicious — to send ballots to people who no longer live in that house. It is clear that this could lead to massive fraud, which many Americans believe happened in 2020.

In this writer’s home state of Oklahoma, voters use “optical scan” machines. Paper ballots are marked and fed into the machines — which are not connected to the internet, and thus cannot be “hacked” — and counted by that machine immediately after the polls closed. If there is a dispute about the machines, the election boards re-count the paper ballots. This writer was present for one of these re-counts, and the machine had counted the paper ballots exactly correct. However, in far too many states there are no paper ballots, and therefore no way to “check” the machines for accuracy. Oklahoma citizens know the results within hours — not days — after the polls close across the state.

In 2005, a commission was formed to study the integrity of U.S. elections. Co-chaired by former Secretary of State James Baker, a Republican, and former President Jimmy Carter, a Democrat, the commission offered some solid suggestions to give Americans confidence in their country’s election system. For example, they recommended states enact laws requiring a person to show a government-issued photo ID before being allowed to vote, always have paper ballots to backup machines, and to not allow the type of mail-in voting used in several states in 2020.

Regardless of how the 2022 mid-terms turn out, and whether states such as Pennsylvania take a week to count votes — an absurdity — states need to conduct their elections in such a way that no one can seriously question that they are free and fair.

Trump Wrongly Blamed for Sup-Par GOP Performance

The Republicans had a pretty good midterm election despite what pundits are claiming. The GOP must win three of the remaining four Senate races to win control of the upper chamber — a goal well within reach as Republicans lead in Nevada and Wisconsin. And the party is within spitting distance of a House majority.

But no red wave. A combination of better-than-expected Democratic enthusiasm and underperforming Republican candidates squandered several opportunities to flip House seats and give the GOP a sizable House majority in January.

How did this happen? If you ask most of the media, the fault for the underperforming Republican Party rests with Donald Trump.

Former Obama campaign strategist David Plouffe said, “I think you have to say Donald Trump has now presided over two disastrous midterm elections.” That’s a matter of opinion. First, Trump did not “preside” over the 2022 midterms. Plouffe is getting his talking points mixed up with reality. Trump wasn’t on the ballot no matter how hard Democrats wished it were so.

Secondly, 2018 wasn’t much of a “disaster,” given that Republicans gained two Senate seats. They lost the House — just as Democrats will almost certainly lose the House in 2022.

“Given the history of presidents in power, Democrats controlling all of Washington, inflation, this should’ve been a much stronger night for Republicans,” Plouffe said. “A bunch of reasons for that. But at the top of them is Donald Trump. He’s deeply unpopular, he supported a bunch of horrible Senate candidates who may end up coughing up the football here.”

For our VIPs: The 2022 Midterms and What They Tell Us About the Future of the GOP

The fact that Trump is “unpopular” outside the Republican Party was pointed out by several pundits. This is “analysis”? Trump entered office in 2017 and his favorable numbers were almost immediately underwater. He’s never been “popular” in the media sense of the word and saying so is belaboring the obvious.

And as far as those “horrible” Senate candidates, some are winning and some are losing. That brings us to the most salient point about Trump and the Republican Party: Donald Trump was a boon to candidates in districts and regions where he was popular and he was a drag in districts and regions where he wasn’t popular.

Another popular media game last night was putting the performance of Trump-backed candidates side by side with the performance of Ron DeSantis.

Fox News:

On CNN, conservative commentator Scott Jennings offered a rather blunt analysis of the night, juxtaposing the performance of Trump-backed candidates across the country with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R., a potential 2024 contender who romped to a landslide re-election on Tuesday.

“There’s a potential narrative out of this night that if you’re a discerning Republican voter trying to figure out the future, direction of this party, we once again learn that Trump is not a national winner for the Republicans,” the GOP pundit told the panel. “But DeSantis may be the next evolution of someone who can marry what you like about Trump but also recover some people that went away from the party during Trump.”

When it comes to Donald Trump, most strong supporters have an “accept no substitutes” policy. DeSantis has already gotten into some trouble with the MAGA world and they would be unwilling to transfer their allegiance to anyone else while Donald Trump remained a viable candidate.

It’s true that some of the candidates Trump handpicked to run — Mehmet Oz in particular — did not meet expectations. Why that’s Trump’s fault is a mystery. No one is talking about Trump guessing right about J.D. Vance in Ohio, who won by 150,000 votes. It’s the old “Get Trump” game dressed up as serious political commentary.

It still doesn’t work.

Fetterman Hires Shady Hillary Campaign Lawyer to Get Illegal Ballots Counted

Fetterman campaign sues to have incomplete mail-in ballots counted

BY MATT MARGOLIS

SEE: https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2022/11/08/fetterman-hires-shady-hillary-campaign-lawyer-to-get-illegal-ballots-counted-n1643972;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman has hired a notoriously corrupt and scandal-plagued Democratic election lawyer in a last-ditch effort to get Pennsylvania’s election boards to count illegal mail-in ballots.

Last month, we learned that the Pennsylvania State Department, led by Democrat Leigh M. Chapman, a left-wing voting rights activist, intended to count mail-in ballots that are incorrectly dated or undated. However, the state supreme court deemed those ballots illegal earlier this month and ordered them not to be counted.

The Fetterman campaign and two Democratic organizations hired Marc Elias of the Elias Law Group, a longtime Democratic attorney, to file a federal lawsuit on Monday demanding that the state’s 67 county election boards count those illegal ballots. The Elias Law Group claims that “thousands” of undated mail-in ballots have already been cast in the race.

Marc Elias is one of the most corrupt election lawyers in the nation. Prior to founding the Elias Law Group, Marc Elias was a partner at the Democrat law firm Perkins Coie, which, as you may recall, played a key role in the creation of the infamous Steel dossier. In fact, it was Elias who retained Fusion GPS to conduct the research that was ultimately used by Christopher Steele to generate the bogus document.

Elias has been retained by Democrats all over the country to challenge elections with absurd lawsuits. He’s even been sanctioned for making misleading claims in court filings.

I’ve previously expressed concern that there were shenanigans going on in Pennsylvania. According to a report from The Epoch Times, the Pennsylvania Department of State also sent out at least 249,000 mail-in ballots to unverified voters for the 2022 general election “due to an odd process for verifying the identity of those requesting mail-in ballots where people vote first and verify their identification later.”

For our VIPs: Vote Early and Often … and Democrat

An unverified voter isn’t necessarily fraudulent and could simply be caused by typos, like an incorrect driver’s license number or a misspelling. But these discrepancies are supposed to be resolved before the individual’s vote is counted, and the failure to address them before the election leaves the process vulnerable to potential fraud.

Fetterman has trailed his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, in most of the recent polls by a slim margin.

Project Veritas has struck again. On Sunday, the group released audio of a February phone conversation between South Carolina State Rep. Krystle Matthews, who is running for the U.S. Senate as a Democrat, and an inmate at Perry Correctional Institution in Pelzer, S.C. During this confab, Matthews casually discussed breaking numerous laws and running Democrats as Republicans, which would certainly explain a great deal if it’s already being done.

“We need some secret sleepers,” Matthews says on the call. “Like you need, we need them to run as the other side, even though they are for our side. We need people to run as Republicans in these local elections. This is the only way you’re going to change the dynamics in South Carolina.” She added that such “sleepers” could cause immense damage to her opposition: “When we get enough of us in there, we can wreak havoc for real from the inside out. Then we can flip some s**t from the inside out.”

Now, this is an interesting idea, and how likely is it that it originated with Krystle Matthews? Is it already being done? Is this how we got Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, and a host of others, including all those who voted last week to limit Second Amendment rights?

Did we just see the kind of bait and switch Matthews is talking about a few days ago? After Dr. Mehmet Oz was certified as the winner of the Republican Senate primary in Pennsylvania, he removed all mention of Donald Trump, who had endorsed him, from his campaign website, after heavily touting his connection to Trump during the primary. In any case, whether or not any of the present crop of RINOs are sleepers, Matthews would like to see more Republicans like them.

Matthews also complained about her fundraising difficulties, and appeared to indicate that she was willing to accept money that had been obtained from selling drugs: “I still got to struggle to raise money for my campaign? Where the f*** are my black people with money? I don’t care about no dope money! Give me that dope boy money! S**t, where the f**king dope? Where the duffle bag boys?”

The candidate also appeared to be fine with straw donations, that is, illegal contributions made under the names of people other than the ones who are actually doing the donating: “Get you — find me somebody from your family that don’t even know you donating to my campaign and put that s**t under they names.”

Related: Democrats Never Miss A Trick

As if all that weren’t enough, Matthews also wanted to find people who would go out at night and steal the yard signs of her opponents: “We need some folks that can wear all black at night and take their f****** yard signs down when they — when they sleeping.” This is also something we see increasingly from the Left.

Matthews also showed herself to be a straight-up racist: “Honestly, these ain’t the same type of black people that I grew up around. I don’t recognize these black people. So, I am black because I don’t understand the type of black that they are. Now, can I talk intelligently? Can I — I could be. Listen, I can move in all kinds of circles, but I’m a n**** at heart. I love black people. I feel safest around my people.”

Project Veritas notes that Matthews “has not yet responded to a request for comment on this story.” This is no surprise. What can she say? There is no spin that could cover her endorsement of dirty tricks, casual acceptance of illegal activity, and racism. If she were a Republican who said exactly what she is recorded as saying on this phone call, she would be inundated with calls to quit the race, and her political career would be over for good.

Matthews, however, is a Democrat, and a black female as well; thus she is not only a beneficiary of a legal and political culture that turns a blind eye to improprieties on the Left, but she is also a member of two of the Left’s cherished victim classes, and therefore has special privileges. The media has unsurprisingly ignored Project Veritas’ revelations, and it is virtually certain that Matthews will stay in the race. Given the state of the Left and the country at large today, she could even win and end up in the United States Senate. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-Sinister) will no doubt be thrilled to have her on his team. She’ll fit right in with that gang of crooks, hacks, and psychopaths.

Colossians 2:8 – Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

“I KISSED A GIRL” KATY PERRY SPEAKS ABOUT TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION
AT VATICAN CONFERENCE
BY HEATHER CLARK

Pop singer Katheryn Hudson, who goes by the stage name Katy Perry and is known for her lesbian experimentation song “I Kissed a Girl,” recently spoke on transcendental meditation alongside her mentor at the Vatican’s “Unite to Cure” conference. Her appearance, along with others, such as Deepak Chopra and Dr. Mehmet Oz, have raised concern about ongoing ecumenism at the Vatican in joining together all kinds of beliefs and practices under one banner.
“Bobby was able to teach me meditation in India,” Hudson told those gathered during the talk entitled “Impacting Children’s Health Through Meditation Globally.” “The stillness that I found is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.”
“It’s helped a lot with my anxiety. Instead of having to turn to [a] prescription, I’ve been able to turn to this,” she said. “It helps incredibly with jet lag … and for all the Italians, it helps with the hangovers.”
Hudson asserted during the talk that meditation is not a religion, but is simply “taking care of one’s temple.”
“I was raised in a Christian household,” Hudson outlined, noting that her parents, who identify as evangelists, were present at the talk. “I was raised around the idea that our body is a temple. And I think if our body is truly a temple, we have to take care of it mind, body and soul. And this takes care of your mind.”
“I notice when I meditate that my whole brain kind of opens up—it kind of feels like a halo is ignited above my head,” she continued. “And it’s like I’m clearing out the cobwebs of my neuropathways and finding new neuropathways to ignite.”
Hudson said that transcendental meditation has also helped her creativity as a musical artist, “especially when I come out of it.”
Her mentor, Bob Roth, praised Hudson, stating that “100 million people really trust” the pop singer, and said that she had helped others get into meditation because of her influence.
“600,000 young kids have learned to meditate, and a lot of it because of your words,” Roth stated. “No exaggeration, you have saved thousands and thousands of lives.”
“Words are very powerful,” Hudson replied. “God created the world with words.”
The pop singer also met Roman Catholic leader Jorge Bergoglio, known as Pope Francis, during her visit and tweeted, “Honored to be in the presence of His Holiness @franciscus’ compassionate heart and inclusivity.”
The event was billed as a global health care initiative and presented by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Culture, the Stem for Life Foundation, the Cura Foundation and the STOQ Foundation. It featured a number of doctors and health care leaders, including New Age figure Deepak Chopra, and was moderated by CNN’s medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a Hindu; talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Muslim; CBS correspondent Max Gomez, and journalist Meredith Vieira.
While the Vatican’s three-day conference was attended by priests, biotech representatives and celebrities alike, Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries told Christian News Network that he found both the allowance of a presentation on transcendental meditation and the ecumenical speakers’ list to be troubling.
“We can only wonder why Katy Perry was invited to a Vatican conference and an audience with the pope,” he said. “Perry pontificated about the benefits of TM from the very chair that Pope Francis often communicates his messages. In both cases, their ‘wisdom of this world is foolishness before God’ (1 Cor. 3:19).”
As previously reported, Hudson, a former Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artist, spoke at a Human Rights Campaign gala in March 2017 and was presented with a homosexual advocacy award. She pointed to her 2008 hit song “I Kissed a Girl” during her speech as she told those gathered that “I did more than that.” Her remark generated both cheers and applause from attendees.
Hudson also made headlines in 2016 when she donated $10,000 to the abortion and contraception giant Planned Parenthood out of fear that the organization might be defunded by the Trump administration.
“Planned Parenthood educated me on my body and my reproductive health, so that I could focus on my dreams and using my voice until I knew the timing was right for me to make a plan to have a family,” she wrote on social media. “Without this education, I may have had a different life path.”

Gendron

Gendron said that he believed that the allowance of Roth and Hudson’s talk on transcendental meditation, along with the other aforementioned speakers, further evidenced Bergoglio’s desire to unite all religions and beliefs.
“He is aggressively pursuing his ecumenical agenda for religious unity and not anything to stand in his way. Clearly part of his strategy for a global religion is to cast the net into all of society and unite the world through highly influential people,” he opined.
“What better way to suppress the doctrinal differences that divide religions than to promote the ungodly Hindu practice of TM. The practice is embraced by atheists, agnostics and people from a variety of religious affiliations,” Gendron stated. “The process opens the mind to the spiritual realm such that any thought can enter. God’s word gives a resolute warning to such devilish practices. We are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ so that we can destroy speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:5).”
According to reports, transcendental meditation was first made popular in the 1950’s by Hindu guru Mahesh Prasad Varma, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He learned the technique from Indian Hindu leader Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, of whom he was a follower, and named his efforts the Spiritual Regeneration Movement. Secular artists such as the Beatles are stated to have been taught by Varma.
Gendron, a former Roman Catholic of 30 years who now teaches Christians how to share the gospel with Catholics, said that the Vatican’s universal embrace, as evidenced by the various speakers, is not biblical.
“As the self-proclaimed head of the Roman Catholic Church, the pope’s blueprint for building his ecumenical church is much different from the blueprint of the Lord’s exclusive church. The true church was never ordained to be driven by man’s schemes and methods, but to be made up of all who would repent and believe His Gospel (Mark 1:15),” he stated.
“It is my prayer that Catholics would search the Scriptures to determine a true prophet from a false prophet, the true church from the false church and the narrow way that leads to life from the wide road that leads to destruction (Mat. 7:13-15).”

Katy Perry joins Orlando Bloom in meeting

Pope Francis at Vatican

Katy Perry and her ‘darling’ boyfriend Orlando Bloom met the Pope on Saturday as they attended a charity conference at Vatican City. The singer looked humbled as she was met with Pope Francis at the fourth annual conference in honour of the Unite To Cure conference which gathers experts in health, entertainment, media and technology.Lining up alongside a host of other experts, Katy and Orlando beamed as they met the leader during the event shortly after she had taken to her Instagram stories to reveal she was en route to speak about meditation.Katy sported all-black – including a pillbox hat and a veil – as she met the leader alongside suit-clad Orlando, who was beaming. The three-day international conference – which runs from Thursday to Saturday – discussed the effects of new technology on society and culture. In addition to gathering experts in a range of fields, the event also saw the attendance from faith-based organizations and government representatives, who touched upon topics such as virtual reality and improving health care in less developed countries. In her Instagram stories, she said: ‘Happy Saturday everyone, I’m here in Rome at the Vatican, to speak on meditation.I’m with my momma, my darling [Orlando], and my manager, Steve! It’s a great day! I am so excited!’ Genesis star Peter Gabriel was also in attendance as a special guest at the event for his noted work in digital media. The singer was brought up by devoutly Christian parents, Keith and Mary Hudson.Last year she discussed their feeling towards her music during an interview on Smallzy’s Surgery radio show.’The thing about it is, which is such a weird thing, to really understand we agree to disagree but still with loving space,’ she said.’We all come from different places.you can have your belief system, nobody is telling you to not believe your beliefs but you can also come from a space of love. She added: ‘That’s what my family and I exercise all the time.’ Among other songs that raised eyebrows in the Perry family, her 2008 hit I Kissed A Girl was also cause for concern.’I was a little concerned, yeah, ’cause I thought my ministry after 30-something years is over,’ Katy’s minister father Keith, who runs his own ministry with Mary in California, said in Katy’s 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me.’But, you know what? Never had a problem.’ The star kicked off her singing career as a Gospel artist before embarking on her successful journey with secular music.Speaking on her religious childhood, the Firework hitmaker told Vogue last year: ‘Amy Grant was our Madonna. We knew about Madonna and Marilyn Manson in my family because we picketed their concerts.’ ‘My house was church on Sunday morning, church on Sunday night, church on Wednesday evening; you don’t celebrate Halloween; Jesus gives you your Christmas presents; we watch Bill O’Reilly on TV.’ ‘That was my whole childhood and youth and early teens.I still have conditioned layers dropping off of me by the day.’

TRUMP JUST PUBLISHED A LIST OF THE 78 TERROR ATTACKS THE MEDIA HAS BEEN HIDING FROM YOU!

TRUMP JUST PUBLISHED A LIST OF THE 78 TERROR ATTACKS THE MEDIA HAS BEEN HIDING FROM YOU!
Last night Donald Trump did something that Obama would have NEVER had
the courage, honesty or dignity to do. He published a list of 78 terror
attacks in the last 2 years that the media REFUSED to cover correctly.
Of course, you can bet the media is already freaking out, claiming that
they covered many of these “more than enough!” NONSENSE! Just take a
look and decide for yourself.

It’s no big secret that the liberal media are completely allergic to the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism.”

However, the Trump administration believes the media are completely
allergic to reporting on terrorism at all. On Monday, the White House released a list of 78 terror attacks since 2014 that they feel “did not receive adequate attention from Western media sources”:

CNN’s Jim Acosta said his producer was given the list of
the 78 attacks outside of the White House. Though he did not read
the list in full on air, Acosta said it included attacks like Paris,
Brussels, Nice, Istanbul and San Bernardino.

The terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino were widely reported;
but again, the media avoided tying the atrocities to radical Islam at
all costs.

At MacDill Air Force Base Monday, Trump argued that, “It’s gotten to a
point where [terrorism is] not even reported, and in many cases the
very, very dishonest press doesn’t even want to report it.”
