House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), has claimed that an informant file he is seeking from the FBI connects President Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme during his time as vice president.

In a letter addressed to FBI Director Christopher Wray, Comer disclosed the amount of the alleged bribe for the first time on Wednesday. He warned that if the FBI fails to share the file in response to a subpoena issued on May 3, he will initiate contempt proceedings.

According to Comer’s letter, the informant tip is dated June 30, 2020, providing an additional clue to the story. The allegation has generated speculation due to the extensive consulting work undertaken by the Biden family in countries where Joe Biden held significant influence as the vice president.

Coincidentally, 17 days prior to the tip-off, Ukrainian officials held a press conference in Kyiv where they presented $5 million in cash purportedly offered as a bribe to halt an investigation into the founder of the natural gas company Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky.

Hunter Biden had a cushy board position at Burisma from 2014 to 2019 despite having no experience in the energy sector, earning more than $1 million a year. During this time, an executive from Burisma had a meeting with then-Vice President Biden at a dinner in Washington on April 16, 2015. In 2020, Ukrainian officials seized a large amount of cash in American $100 bills, which reportedly matches the amount Joe Biden allegedly received years earlier. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine arrested three Kyiv bureaucrats, including a former and current tax official, and an additional $1 million was allegedly offered as a bribe via a middleman.

A Ukrainian anti-corruption prosecutor, Nazar Kholodnytsky, claimed that neither Hunter Biden nor Joe Biden was implicated in that specific case, but, according to Comer, two and a half weeks later, an FBI document accusing Joe Biden of bribery was either “created or modified.”

The Oversight Committee has not confirmed the country where Biden allegedly accepted the bribe as vice president, but a source told The New York Post that it is not believed to be a deal with China—likely meaning it involves either Russia or Ukraine.

The FBI has so far refused to provide the informant file linking Joe Biden to the $5 million bribe, despite the document being subpoenaed by Comer.

“As previously stated, the whistleblower disclosures indicated that the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) are in possession of an FD-1023 form describing an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions,” Comer wrote to FBI Director Wray. “The FBI’s refusal to produce this single document is obstructionist. Nevertheless, to narrow the breadth of the subpoena, we are providing additional terms based on unclassified and legally protected whistleblower disclosures that may be referenced in the FD-1023 form: ‘June 30, 2020’ and ‘five million,’” he added.

The FBI has until May 30, 2023, to respond; otherwise, contempt proceedings will be initiated.

Mayor Adams’ Plea: Time for Every US City to Share the Migrant Load?

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, in a surprising move, has called for every US city to share the load in accommodating migrants. Facing an increasingly overwhelming influx of newcomers, Adams has proposed this radical plan as New York grapples with thousands of new arrivals each day. Ironically, his 'share the love' approach emerges while his city, a proclaimed sanctuary, struggles to maintain its pledge amidst the sheer pressure of numbers and logistical challenges. Adams' suggestions are a stark contrast to his earlier rhetoric, revealing an interesting twist in his narrative. On the surface, this request to distribute migrants across all US cities might seem like a reasonable proposition. However, it unravels a deeper issue - the unrelenting tide of people crossing the southern border. The mayor's solution implies that New York, despite its sanctuary status, is feeling the strain from this surge, echoing the concerns of border states that have been grappling with this reality for years. Amidst his concerns about housing and resource allocation, the essence of the sanctuary city appears to be wavering, replaced by pleas for nationwide assistance. Adding another layer of complexity to this issue is the reopening of many of the city's shuttered hotels to serve as migrant shelters. As NYC houses more and more asylum seekers, questions of sustainability and long-term implications rise. The mayor’s move serves as a poignant reminder that the immigration issue continues to strain the resources and capacities of not just border towns, but also major cities across the country.

A Human Rights Watch board member does not belong on a Holocaust museum board.

I have written about the problems with the Holocaust Museum in D.C. before. It’s a government museum and like most of those pursues predictable political agendas that have nothing to do with the Holocaust or Jews.

The Holocaust Memorial Council acts as the board of trustees, but like a lot of government institution boards, it’s a prestigious line to add to the biographies of major donors or political allies. There have been some whoppingly bad appointments by past administrations  In a final insult to the Jewish community, Obama appointed Ben Rhodes, the lead advocate for the Iran nuke sellout, to the council.

Biden has appointed Kimberly Marteau Emerson. Kimberly, the wife of John Emerson. a Democrat operative and financial bigwig, picked by Obama to be his ambassador to Germany.

Kimberly Marteau Emerson.has been on the board of directors for Human Rights Watch since 2012.

HRW has repeatedly and falsely accused Israel of “apartheid”. Its personnel have done little to conceal their desire for the destruction of the Jewish State and the extermination of its population.

Joe Stork, who served for many years as HRW’s Deputy Director of Middle East issues. Before being hired by HRW, Stork openly supported Palestinian terror attacks against Jewish civilians, and opposed any and all peace treaties between Israel and Arab states.

Stork even traveled to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq for a conference on “Zionism and Racism.

Analyzing Israel’s victory in the 1967 War, Stork suggested what would be needed for the Arab states to reverse the outcome and destroy Israel:

This was part of a pattern.

In 2009, HRW bizarrely defended its senior military analyst Marc Garlasco following revelations that he was an avid collector of Nazi memorabilia and had even authored a book about Nazi-era medals. According to The Guardian, Garlasco once commented that a leather SS jacket made “my blood go cold it is so COOL!”

And nothing much has changed.

HRW founder Robert Bernstein blasted the organization’s pathological anti-Israel animus in a 2009 op-ed published in The New York Times, in which he lamented the turn the organization had taken regarding the Middle East. At HRW, Bernstein wrote, the organization originally drew distinctions between liberal and repressive states, focusing on the latter. However, HRW, “with increasing frequency, casts aside its important distinction between open and closed societies.”

Bernstein observed that this change in focus was most apparent in the Middle East, where HRW “has written far more condemnations of Israel for violations of international law than of any other country in the region,” even though the region “is populated by authoritarian regimes with appalling human rights records.”

In the spring of 2009, Sarah Leah Whitson, the organization’s top Middle East official, traveled to Saudi Arabia and, as part of her pitch, said that she needed to raise funds to fight “pro-Israel pressure groups.”

To get a sense of HRW’s disturbing anti-Israel bias, consider this: over the past five years, the NGO has authored seven special reports on Israel. In comparison, the organization published none condemning North Korea, one of the worst criminal regimes in the world; and only three reports addressed the human rights violations of the repressive, theocratic regime in Iran.

That’s because HRW wants Israel to be destroyed.

The report’s primary author is Omar Shakir, HRW’s Israel/Palestine director, who signed a pledge in 2015 to “honor the BDS call.” The founder and leader of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement has stated openly that his movement aims to see Israel dismantled

Kimberly Marteau Emerson is a completely inappropriate choice. No HRW official or board member should ever have a position in a Holocaust memorial organization.

3 Third-World Social Plagues the Migrants Are Bringing With Them

That’s a nice country you got there. Would be a shame if anything were to happen to it…

Sadly, thanks to a massive “asylum-seeker” scam perpetuated by the Globalist Leftist elites to pack in third-world newcomers, a lot is about to happen to our once prosperous and pleasant country.

Quick refresher: Asylum in the United States may be granted at our discretion to people who have a legitimate fear of political or religious persecution in their homeland by their government, and who come through a designated port of entry. Poverty, high crime, lack of opportunity, or family residing in the U.S. are not recognized reasons for seeking asylum in the U.S., nor is paying a human trafficker to smuggle you over the border an acceptable way of doing so.

The rate at which illegal aliens are being transported into the once orderly United States is unprecedented and unsustainable. You simply cannot import many millions of impoverished, high-need, culturally incongruent people without wreaking havoc on the host nation. And there is already plenty of third-world unpleasantness cropping up: increases in diseases we had gotten rid of in the U.S.; once-venerable landmark hotels converted to eyesore immigrant tenements; and spikes in crime as the bad come in with the merely opportunistic.

But there are long-term miseries that once seemed impossible in a great nation like the USA that will inevitably become commonplace. If you’ve traveled abroad, you may already have seen these social pathologies in other places. And some of them already exist in one form or another in America’s big blue cities. Sadly, unless something changes, they will inevitably become the norm here, too.

Without further ado, here are the top three societal calamities we can look forward to as the Biden administration continues to import the entire third world.

Droves of Beggars With Children in Tow

Panhandlers, bums, the homeless, and garden-variety street addicts are nothing new in most cities. But get ready for flocks of beggars to start peopling our streets wherever Big Left’s phony asylum seekers are deposited. And they won’t be the panhandlers you’re accustomed to; third-world beggars often have small children with them. It’s a disturbing and heartbreaking sight. But that is what happens when millions of needy people are dumped in a country, overwhelming the social support system.

Bela Szandelszky

Shantytowns

I’m not just talking tent cities here, or a homeless encampment beneath an underpass: I mean full-on entire towns and villages consisting of hundreds of permanent structures made from scraps of lumber, sheet metal, and plastic panels. Shantytowns are a common sight and part of the established infrastructure in third-world countries, where they ring the cities and towns, encroaching on public and private lands. But lawlessness begets more lawlessness.

This March 11, 2016 photo shows the view from a van carrying U.S. tourists on a tour of a shanty town, in the Villa Maria del Triunfo district on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. While most

Riots

Eventually, the press of humanity trapped in slums and shantytowns with insufficient services and little hope of change will reach a boiling point. Folks with nothing to lose have no reason to behave, and desperate people will be easy pickings for America’s native population of Marxist civil rights attorneys and community organizers. Mass demonstrations of our “newest Americans” demanding their “rights” will swell the ranks of anarchists and rioters that the U.S. already tolerates on far too generous a scale. The Biden administration is importing the potential for paralyzing, destabilizing riots on a mass scale.

Great. So Now What?

Unlike Big Left, conservatives know history. We can consider past occasions when a country was occupied — sometimes for centuries — but never lost its identity and eventually rid itself of its foreign squatters. For example, Spain was invaded in 711 AD by a Muslim North African army. The Moors occupied the Iberian peninsula for 800 years before they were expelled. At that time, they made up a large percentage of the population, including one-third of the Valencia region. But it was accomplished nonetheless.

Likewise, the Ottoman Turks invaded and occupied Greece from the mid-1400s through 1821 — nearly four centuries. But they, too, were ultimately expelled.

While there are many obvious differences between those cases and the current U.S. colonization currently underway, the main point should not be lost. A people can hold onto their identity for as long as it takes to muster the will and determination to eject an occupying force. Americans, though of diverse ethnicities and faiths, are united and identified by an ideal. And we can rest assured that freedom will always be worth fighting for.

Biden's Wild Spending Party: Kevin McCarthy Blows Whistle on Biden’s Financial Folly

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has voiced stern criticism of President Biden's handling of the nation's looming debt ceiling crisis. In a harsh indictment, McCarthy asserts that Biden is prioritizing left-wing spending programs over the nation's fiscal health, a move that could potentially lead to a disastrous US default. The Republican leader's comments emphasize the widening chasm between Democrats and Republicans as they scramble to negotiate a resolution to this critical financial concern. The president's reluctance to engage in meaningful bipartisan dialogue further exacerbates anxieties around a potential economic disaster.
