The Real Reason Joe Biden Pardoned Hunter | 12/2/24

Hunter Biden's Pardon is a Golden Opportunity for Trump to DO THIS...

President Biden has issued a pardon for his son Hunter that covers any crimes committed over the past 10 years. That would include any possible fraudulent dealings with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma or the Chinese Communist Party. So, is Biden just trying to protect himself? Glenn breaks it all down and also explains how Donald Trump can still bring criminals to justice: Biden only pardoned Hunter and, by extension, himself. But anyone else who was involved in the Biden family’s shady business dealings is still fair game, especially if Trump’s pick for FBI Director, Kash Patel, declassifies everything...

DANGEROUS Final Days of Biden Presidency

President Biden’s actions on the Ukraine-Russia war appear to starkly contradict his earlier stances. After initially opposing the use of long-range missiles, he has now approved both their deployment and the use of land mines, raising questions about his strategy. In the final days of his presidency, is he laying the groundwork for further global conflict, potentially leaving a crisis for President-elect Trump to inherit?

Pam Bondi: Biden Administration Will Only “Build the Bidens Back Better”

Florida’s former Attorney General, and now President-Elect Donald Trump's pick for Attorney General, Pam Bondi mocked Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” economic proposal back in 2020, claiming during her speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) that given Joe Biden’s history, the plan was more likely to “build the Bidens back better.”

Why Is Biden’s DOJ PURGING Documents Before Trump Inauguration?!

Is the DOJ eliminating evidence of its actions during the Biden Administration? Senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy J. He says federal bureaucrats haven’t been charged for this in years, but Matt Gaetz might change that.

GLENN BECK: Did Biden call Trump supporters “GARBAGE” to SABOTAGE Kamala?

President Biden recently called Trump supporters “garbage”, although his handlers insist he meant to say the MAGA agenda is “garbage.” But did Biden have an ulterior motive? Was this meant to sabotage Kamala Harris’ campaign as revenge for his ousting? Or did Biden just fumble his response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke about Puerto Rico? Glenn and Stu discuss. Plus, they review the latest election stats: Will the 2024 election be a landslide or a close race? And will Democrats believe it if Trump wins?

Vice President Kamala Harris is receiving heavy backlash after her appearance on The View on Tuesday.

Harris said on the left-leaning talk show that she would not change anything from President Joe Biden’s term of office, despite his job approval tanking over his three-year span.

The panel of hosts asked the 2024 Democrat nominee if she would have done anything “differently” than Biden.

“There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of — and I’ve been a part of — of the decisions that have had impact,” responded Harris.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s team has tried to tie Harris with the Biden administration, with the 46th president averaging a poor 41.3% job approvals, according to RealClearPolitics.

The Trump campaign took advantage of Harris’ statement by calling out the administration’s disastrous decisions during its tenure, causing an angry reaction on social media.

“This is enraging to every veteran who was forced to watch Afghanistan go up in smoke while 13 more troops died because of incompetent decision making,” one X user reacted.

“That includes three years of wide open borders. Vote accordingly,” another said.

“The Trump campaign needs this in ads today,” yet another urged.

On her campaign trail, Harris tried to establish herself as the candidate of change, although having been in Washington since 2017, first as a California senator and then as vice president.

“We’re obviously two different people and we have a lot of shared life experiences, for example how we feel about our family and our parents and so on,” Harris said of Biden. “But we’re also different people and I will bring those sensibilities to how I lead.”

Later on in the interview, Harris repeated her vow to tap a Republican to serve in her cabinet “because I don’t, I don’t feel burdened by letting pride get in the way of a good idea.”

During another question, Harris claimed that former Arizona Senator John McCain had endorsed her to become president, despite the fact that the 2008 GOP nominee died in 2018.

“Look, I just recently did an event with Liz Cheney, the former congresswoman, her father, the former Vice President Dick Cheney has supported me. There are over 200 former members of both Bush presidencies, John McCain, Mitt Romney, who have endorsed me,” Harris said.

Mitt Romney has also not endorsed Harris, but did applaud her performance in her debate against Donald Trump on September 10th

Biden-Harris ABANDON North Carolina After Hurricane Helene

Vice President Kamala Harris has been vocal about the disaster aid given to residents of North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. However, Glenn Beck’s Mercury One is in Asheville aiding victims and tells "Blaze News Tonight" that there’s a serious absence of federal assistance. Instead, private individuals like Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) are on the ground providing aid to those desperately in need and rescuing people still trapped in their homes.

Biden & Harris let HOW MANY CRIMINALS into America?!

Under the watch of the Biden/Harris administration, over 420,000 criminal aliens have NOT been deported from the United States — and many of them are likely walking the streets! A letter from the Acting ICE Director detailed that these numbers include 13,000 people convicted of homicide and 15,000 people convicted of sexual assault. Glenn asks, HOW has this not destroyed Kamala's campaign yet?! She can't promise to be "strong on the border" with that kind of track record!

Biden-Harris Admin Announces Over $8B In Additional Aid For Ukraine

After President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s recent visit to Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S. President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that more than $8 billion in military aid would be provided to Ukraine in its war against Russia.

The first delivery of the Joint Standoff Weapon, a precision-guided glide bomb with a maximum range of 81 miles, will be one of the many expensive explosives provided as part of the aid. With the medium-range missile, Ukraine can try to strike Russian forces at “safer ranges,” and it significantly improves its arsenal of weaponry.

“Biden will not announce that Washington would let Ukraine use U.S. missiles to hit targets deeper in Russia," a U.S. official said,” according to Reuters.

“We’re making clear that we stand with Ukraine now and in the future,” Biden told reporters ahead of a bilateral meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office. He said the U.S. would continue to help Ukraine strengthen its position on the battlefield, and that he had directed the Pentagon to allocate all remaining security funding by the end of his term in January.

Zelenskyy praised Biden for his decision to give Ukraine even more assistance, and he emphasized the need to secure Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union.

At least $5.5 billion of the extra aid will be disbursed before the financing authority expires on Monday, the last day of the U.S. fiscal year. Under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, an additional $2.4 billion is available, enabling the administration to purchase more weapons for Ukraine from companies.

According to Biden, this will boost Ukraine’s defense industrial base, support its maintenance and sustainment needs, and give it more air defense, unmanned aerial systems, as well as air-to-ground weapons.

The president also stated that his proposal also calls for the Defense Department to repair and supply Ukraine with more Patriot missiles and an extra Patriot air defense battery.

In order to boost training for Ukrainian F-16 pilots, Biden directed the Pentagon to support U.S.-funded training of at least 18 pilots in the upcoming year.

“I am grateful to the United States for providing the items that are most critical to protecting our people,” Zelenskyy said on Twitter, noting the Patriot battery, the large number of drones, and other long-range missiles.

At a campaign rally in North Carolina on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump expressed his own feelings regarding the continued U.S. funding of billions of dollars to Ukraine.

“We continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refused to make a deal, Zelenskyy,” Trump reminded the crowd.

Time Magazine and the BBC outlet also had some discouraging words to say about Ukraine’s war efforts.

“U.S. officials also need to recognize that even if this aid continues, there is no realistic chance of a total Ukrainian victory next year, or the year after that. Even if the Ukrainians can build up their forces, Russia can deepen its defenses even more,” Time Magazine reported.

Meanwhile, the BBC reported that: “the former commander of the UK’s Joint Forces Command has warned that Ukraine could face defeat by Russia in 2024.”

According to AllSides’ Political Bias Meter, the BBC lands “center-left,” while Time Magazine leans fully “left” politically.

Biden’s Unwillingness to Combat Gang Violence is a Deadly Disgrace

Four heavily armed gangsters formed a skirmish line of sorts outside of a nightclub in Birmingham, Alabama’s popular entertainment district known as Five Points South Saturday night around 11 p.m., and then sprayed a large crowd with their illegally converted fully automatic 9mm handguns.

Four people were killed and 17 were wounded – at least four critically. Police later found more than 100 shell casings on the blood-drenched sidewalk.

Investigators determined it was a “targeted hit.” The shooters were after a specific person. The 20 innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire were not even a consideration. The gangsters, who police say were likely paid for the assassination, have not been caught.

This is not Birmingham’s only brush with extreme gang violence. In July, four people were shot and murdered and 10 were wounded in a shooting outside another nightclub. In February, four people were murdered while standing outside of a library.

Officials have offered a $100,000 reward for information about Saturday night’s shooting. Alabama lawmakers even sponsored a bill that would outlaw conversion switches, which turn a legal semi-automatic pistol into a machinegun, even though the switches are already heavily regulated under federal law – possession is punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison.

One frustrated Birmingham Police officer told CNN the killings “have more to do with culture than they do criminality. We’re seeing far too many arguments being settled by bullets.”

Biden’s nonresponse

The Biden-Harris administration weaponized the ATF soon after taking office, but rather than siccing ATF agents on inner city gang members who are responsible for the majority of the shootings and murders in the country, the ATF was ordered to target law-abiding gun dealers and gun owners instead, most often for simple clerical errors or some minor violation of ATF’s everchanging rules.

Joe Biden has issued more than 40 anti-gun executive orders since becoming president, but not a single one does anything to yank guns from the hands of criminal street gang members.

The ATF claims it’s a participant in Project Safe Neighborhoods, a federal program designed “to reduce gun violence and other violent crime, and to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone.” However, most of the ATF’s investigations occur after-the-fact, after local law enforcement officers who are not afraid to confront armed gangsters make an arrest and discover an illegal conversion switch or some other violation of federal law.

To be clear, most of ATF’s highly touted arrests take place within the comfy confines of their field offices, not on the streets where it matters – where they should be deployed. After all, possession of stolen firearms, conversion switches and possession by a convicted felon are federal crimes and ATF’s responsibility.

Not Crips or Bloods

Rather than attacking gang violence head-on, the Biden-Harris administration cannot even say gang violence. They talk about groups of youths or at-risk teens. They demonize the gangsters’ tools but never the gangsters themselves. To do otherwise would be racist, they mistakenly believe. However, forcing law-abiding residents of the cities impacted by gang violence to live trapped in their homes by crime is about as racist as it can get. This type of attitude is mimicked by the corporate media, who ignore the problem because they don’t want to offend anyone by citing an arrestee’s race or gang affiliation.

Today’s gangsters are not the Bloods and Crips or Folk and People law enforcement encountered during the 1980s and 1990s. While a few still claim some type of traditional gang affiliation, most are drug crews who are drawn together solely to make money rather than out of allegiance to a specific gang.

These crews are primarily armed with handguns, not the “assault weapons” the Biden-Harris administration would have you believe. They acquire their illegal handguns the old-fashioned way – either by stealing them or buying them from other criminals. The gangsters aren’t purchasing them at local gun shops, so cracking down on local gun dealers is a waste of resources, which would be better spent cracking down on actual gang members.

Add weak-willed, George Soros-funded prosecutors to mix – who are responsible for the catch-and-release seen in most major cities – and a revolving door of criminals and skyrocketing crime rates follow.

Why this matters

Gang violence impacts all of us. During prohibition, it led to the National Firearms Act of 1934 and its inane $200 stamps.

Gang interdiction is not rocket science, but it requires the type of leadership we have not seen at the federal level for quite some time. There are strategies that have proven effective, including RICO Act prosecutions, sentence enhancements for documented gang membership and mandatory minimums, such as Florida’s 10-20-Life law.

Every so-called gang expert will say we can never arrest our way out of the problem, which is partially true. Gangs are a community problem, and any solution must involve the community. However, before they can marshal community resources – such as families, educators and clergy – the killings must stop or at least slow down. This is where the federal government with its nearly unlimited resources could play a significant role, if gang interdiction ever becomes a federal priority.

Nowadays, while the Biden-Harris administration does not recognize gangs or gangsters, they’re quick to cite their bloody handiwork as one of the reasons for their constant infringements of our civil rights. In other words, the Biden-Harris administration uses gang violence as an excuse to crack down on legal gun ownership by law-abiding Americans.

This has happened before.

“To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the law abiding that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the guilty and the lawless.” Lysander Spooner said that, an American abolitionist and essayist. Spooner died in 1887, but his words still ring true.

The next administration must target gang violence. It must become a federal law enforcement priority. It’s time to stop ignoring the killings.

Biden-Harris CDC Promotes Meditation in Public Schools to Promote ‘Equity’

August 6, 2024

SEE: https://washingtonstand.com/news/bidenharris-cdc-promotes-meditation-in-public-schools-to-promote-equity; republished below in full, unedited, for informational, educational, & research purposes:

The Biden-Harris administration is promoting the use of controversial meditation, yoga, and “mindfulness” techniques derived from Buddhism and Hinduism in public schools, although studies have found the practices have a negative effect on young people’s mental health. In addition to promoting a supposedly secularized form of non-Christian religion and its attendant worldview, the administration’s guidelines encourage teachers to have students ruminate on any beliefs they have that might hinder the progress of “equity.”

As students begin heading back to school, hundreds or thousands of teachers will be conducting “mindfulness” classes purportedly aimed at reducing stress and improving focus after the pandemic lockdowns. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has drawn up a six-part strategy allegedly aimed at improving students’ mental health after the lockdowns. The “CDC has identified six school-based strategies and associated approaches that can help prevent mental health problems and promote positive behavioral and mental health of students,” states its website.

The second plank instructs schools to “Promote Mindfulness,” including “[p]racticing mindful breathing, meditation, and movement, such as yoga.” The CDC tells school districts to “Dedicate Time for Students to Independently Practice Mindfulness.” For instance, “Students and staff could practice mindfulness during morning meetings or advisory periods, after recess, or before the start of a regular class.” Additionally, young people may engage in “small group mindfulness activities,” which are “often led by a counselor.”

Like many schools participating in the program, Brooklyn College Academy has dedicated a meditation room with mats and cushions, where teenagers sit cross-legged as instructors guide them through a series of breathing techniques. Sometimes they focus on visualizing images suggested by their instructors; sometimes they empty their minds and replace the contents with nothingness. Linda Mary Noble, a social studies teacher whose love of “mindfulness” led her to create a meditation room inside her public school, said she loves “this idea of [her students] having a space that they’re not getting in a home. I feel that this is a gift.”

Other school districts teach the methods through software such as Inner Explorer, an audio program that asks children to listen to the sound of chimes and other noises as it guides them through a 5-10 minute meditation.

“Imagine a school setting up a chapel in the school, with kneelers and Gregorian chants playing. "Would the average person find the chapel overtly religious?” Meg Kilgannon, senior fellow for Education Studies at the Family Research Council, told The Washington Stand. “If so, why then are schools making ‘mindfulness spaces,’ which are nothing more than chapels of another sort?”

Although proponents of “mindfulness” techniques present the method as “secularized” in public, all acknowledged the programs replicate methods taught by non-Christian religions and New Age gurus. “Mindfulness is a bit of a catch-all term for a secularized version of practices that draw from religions like Buddhism and Hinduism,” reports NPR. The practice of mindfulness “draws on Buddhist thinking,” notes the website StudyFinds.org. The Brooklyn College Academy meditation room was publicly reported in Tricycle: The Buddhist Review. The magazine did not distinguish between the school system’s purportedly “secular” mindfulness and Buddhist practices.

Despite their inherently religious characteristics, mindfulness classes have swept through America’s supposedly secular public school system. Inner Explorer is used in 100 school districts, including the Atlanta Public Schools. The group Mindful Schools is working with 245 schools this academic year. In the Los Angeles Unified School District, nearly 1,000 teachers had received training in yoga, meditation, and tai chi by 2020.

Some of the classes have successfully inculcated Buddhism-derived “relaxation” practices in young schoolchildren. “I got into meditation in ninth grade because of Dr. Noble; she started doing it in the beginning of our global class,” attested 15-year-old Damkina Jeromey. In Georgia, nine-year-old Malachi Smith said he now regularly uses Inner Explorer exercises at home with his father. That concerns Christians, and non-New Age parents of all backgrounds.

“Research has shown that one’s worldview begins to form around 15-18 months and is set by age 13. We also know that children will spend 16,000 hours in school between kindergarten and 12th grade. Thus, at the precise time that a child’s worldview is forming, he is spending thousands of hours in school, being discipled by those who do not have a biblical worldview,” David Closson, director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at Family Research Council, told TWS.

Closson said the incorporation of “so-called ‘mindfulness’ initiatives into the curriculum serves as yet another reminder that schools are not neutral when it comes to worldview. In fact, most public schools are hostile toward Christian values and are actively promoting beliefs contrary to those found in Scripture. Everyone has a worldview, and most people are enthusiastic evangelists for their worldview.”

“I’m not surprised that the CDC and various school districts are pushing yoga and so-called ‘mindful breathing’ exercises on students,” Closson remarked.

The Biden-Harris administration has promoted the New Age-aligned “mindfulness” techniques with relish. CDC guidelines encourage public schools to “give students an opportunity to learn more about mindfulness and how to use it to cope with strong feelings or emotions,” as well as to:

  • “Train teachers and staff on the importance of mindfulness.
  • “Train teachers and staff on strategies for building mindfulness into the day.
  • “Offer mindfulness opportunities for staff and teachers.”

“For example, leaders could give staff a mindfulness minute every morning or offer mindfulness projects, including student-led projects, at the district level,” the CDC notes. However, it adds that “mindfulness activities may not be useful for everyone. Invite teachers, staff, and students to incorporate mindfulness into their lives, but do not pressure them to do so.”

In a uniquely left-wing fashion, the Biden-Harris administration encourages public schools to use meditation to change children’s worldview. CDC guidelines instruct schools: “Explore mindfulness practice as a way to advance equity.” (Emphasis in original.) “Mindfulness activities can help teachers and students create a more inclusive classroom. For example, mindfulness activities can help teachers and students reflect on their assumptions and behaviors in ways that can help identify and reduce bias.”

“Instead of ‘mindfulness’ these exercises become mere grievance rumination." And that’s not likely to be helpful or healthy for anyone,” Kilgannon told TWS. “There is no fourth grader in the world who can solve the problem of racism, end hunger, or stop oppression; but that fourth grader can learn about the history of his city or state, read about important American and world leaders, memorize math facts, begin to learn about the periodic table of elements, study how trees turn sunlight and air into food, etc. There are so many things children can learn at school that offer them the chance to aspire to a better life and a world beyond our current day’s problems.”

If the CDC hopes mindfulness will reduce stress, they ignore the best studies on the topic, which show the techniques offer no benefit and sometimes worsen adolescents’ mental health. An early study from 2016 found “insufficient or inconclusive evidence for its benefits.” The most robust research conducted on the subject eventually discovered students who went through school mindfulness training had no positive mental health outcomes. The MY Resilience In Adolescence (MYRIAD) study observed more than 28,000 students and 650 teachers in 100 U.K. schools over eight years.

The use of mindfulness techniques actually “resulted in worse scores on risk of depression and well-being in students at risk of mental health problems” than doing nothing at all, researchers noted in their report published in the Evidence Based Mental Health journal. However, they wrote these differences were minimal. Students reportedly found the exercises “boring,” according to the BBC, which labeled mindfulness in school “a waste of time.” Any positive effects “washed out after one year.”

“This rigorous, large-scale study found that when mindfulness training was delivered at scale in schools it did not have an impact on preventing risk of depression or promoting well-being in students aged 11 to 14 years,” confessed Miranda Wolpert, the director of Mental Health at Wellcome of the study, which was conducted in concert by Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Exeter, Kings College London, University College London, and Pennsylvania State University.

“The use of this specific school-based mindfulness curriculum as a universal intervention for young people in early adolescence is not indicated,” the study concluded.

Yet that may not dissuade the practice’s most ardent supporters, who attempted to integrate meditation into public schools long before the COVID-19 pandemic. Several years ago, schools began using mindfulness as part of the “restorative justice” movement. A 2016 article notes that, instead of punishing school troublemakers, Baltimore’s Robert W. Coleman Elementary School sent youthful offenders to a “mindful moment room,” where they would engage in breathing and relaxation exercises before meeting with a counselor to talk about how to manage their feelings. Yet those associated these techniques with punishment rather than relief.

Powerful forces in the public and private sectors support introducing these techniques to young minds in a public school setting. Before the Biden-Harris administration began promoting these techniques, often found in New Age settings, others in government forced taxpayers to underwrite such programs. Former Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), who lost in the 2022 Senate race to Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance, was such a committed practitioner of transcendental meditation that he helped introduce the practice into kindergarten classes at Youngstown schools with a $982,000 federal earmark in 2009. Brooklyn College Academy built its meditation room in 2017 thanks to a $10,000 grant from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

More often, public schools have built meditation/mindfulness centers as part of a public-private partnership. Farmers Insurance gave the Brooklyn school $100,000 to expand its use of meditation techniques. A similar program in tiny Rex, Georgia, in Clayton County is funded by GreenLight Fund Atlanta. The Steve Fund has financed similar efforts nationwide. The latter two groups focus primarily on minority students, presenting New Age-derived meditation techniques as a solution to black and brown students’ mental health crises. The movement’s stubborn promotion (and financing) of mindfulness in schools despite the negative evidence seems to show its unbounded faith in Buddhist-lite meditation.

“Make no mistake: the introduction of these practices is not neutral when it comes to worldview formation and discipleship,” Closson concluded. “Parents need to be aware of this reality and respond in appropriate ways.”
