I know it’s confusing, so let me spell it out for you: This is the fruit of the hard-left indoctrination that passes for university education today.

…Two days after more than 100 students were arrested when the NYPD raided a tent encampment on the Ivy League campus, roughly 200 demonstrators were still going strong on Saturday, chanting, holding signs and waving Palestinian flags.
At least three people were arrested, the NYPD confirmed. Two were cuffed for disorderly conduct and a third was slapped with summonses for a sound reproduction device.
“Up, up with liberation." Down, down with occupation,” they yelled through the locked campus gate on W. 115th and Broadway….
“We want justice, you say how?" "Stop arming Israel now!” another group chanted.
The students are demanding the university divest from Israel.
“We demand that Columbia sever academic ties with Israeli universities and we demand that Columbia stop censoring and intimidating students who are standing up and advocating for Palestinian liberation,” one student yelled through the gate to the crowd that had gathered on the other side outside of campus. Over 100 students were arrested at Columbia University on Thursday night.
A line of police officers in riot helmets watched on. A handful of Israeli supporters stood across Broadway — including one who was doused with fake blood for engaging with pro-Palestinian students.
Avi Lichtschein, 37, of Manhattan was walking his dog when the group surrounded him and shouted, “We don’t want no Zionists here!”…
Another pro-Israel bystander, Ross Glick, 50, told The Post his grandparents were Holocaust survivors. The Upper East Side resident grew up in the Midwest during the first intifada but said “this is more concerning.”
“There’s no doubt that there’s a lot of innocent people dying in Gaza but to call it a genocide….What about the 6,000 Muslims that were gassed by Assad?” Glick said.
“If you don’t like it go to Gaza,” he said about the protesters.
The protesters, he said, don’t want a peaceful solution. Students continued to occupy the lawn area at the Ivy League school on Saturday..
“You don’t hear them talk about peace or co-existence. [It’s] death to Israel,” he said….
Columbia University and Barnard College faculty slammed Thursday’s arrests and demanded that their records be expunged.
The American Association of University Professors at the sister schools issued a statement following a “mass emergency meeting” of faculty on Friday.
“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the Administration’s suspension of students engaged in peaceful protest and their arrest by the New York City Police Department,” according to a statement provided to The Post.
They said Columbia has an “absolute obligation” to protect students’ freedom of speech….
Yeah, except the freedom of speech of those with whom they disagree. If these were Trump supporters or foes of jihad violence who were demonstrating, the American Association of University Professors would be silent, or cheering on their incarceration. The Biden administration is drawing up plans to require goods produced in Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank to be clearly labelled as coming from there, according to US officials, another sign of White House unhappiness with the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.
The final go-ahead for the move, and its timing, has not been decided but it is intended to increase pressure on Israel over rising settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, and comes amid US frustration with the Jewish state’s conduct of the war in Gaza.
The move would reverse a policy introduced by the Donald Trump administration in 2020 that required goods produced in the West Bank to be labelled as “Made in Israel”….

The White House has banned religious-themed designs from the Easter egg art event.
Religious Easter egg designs will not be accepted by the National Guard children for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event at the White House.
Along with the yearly Easter Egg Roll, the White House celebrates Easter with an art competition. A contest flyer specifies that an Easter egg design entry “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”
“As part of the White House Easter traditions, America’s Egg Farmers—for nearly 50 years—have proudly presented an intricately decorated Commemorative Easter Egg to the First Lady of the United States. In 2021, the White House expanded on this long-standing tradition by displaying youth-designed Easter eggs in the White House East Colonnade,” the flyer explains. “On behalf of First Lady Jill Biden, the Adjutants General of the National Guard are asking youth from National Guard families across the United States and all U.S. territories to submit artwork inspired by the theme ‘Celebrating our Military Families.’”
Kids are asked to paint eggs with pictures from their own lives. “Selected designs representing the unique experience and stories of National Guard children will be brought to life on real hen eggs by talented egg artists from across the country and displayed at the White House this Easter and Passover season,” the advertisement states.
Additionally, content that encourages “bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age” cannot be used in educational settings by children.
Children will paint a few chosen designs on actual eggs, which will be on display at the White House.

For just over two and a half years, Joe Biden and/or his puppet masters (see Barack Obama, Susan Price, Klaus Schwab, etc.) have been successfully driving the United States to destruction. As Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov warned, the college professors and civil rights leaders indoctrinated — or as Bezmenov calls it, demoralized — generations of Americans and convinced them to hate their nation and, frequently, themselves. The Soviets successfully infiltrated the black communities, convinced them they were less than, and let the anger seethe into subsequent generations. That is why we see highly educated and successful black folks like the Obamas, MSNBC’s Joy Reid, and the deranged Cori Bush screaming about racism, even though they are one-percenters. If systemic racism were real, how did these poor, indentured serfs get so far?
FACT-O-RAMA! Bezmonov, a KGB defector, described the Soviets’ four-part plan to conquer the United States without firing a shot. Step 1 was “Demoralization”: Demoralize Americans to the point that they refuse to believe their eyes — like how your rabid, pink-haired sister-in-law refused to believe we were being inundated with illegal immigrant caravans when Trump was in office because NBC headlines told her it was all just a right-wing conspiracy. Two and a half years later, our major blue cities are getting crushed. She was lied to, but she still watches NBC and thinks it’s real. As Bezmenov described, she can’t tell what is real and what is not.
Watching Bezmenov lay out the communists’ plan to take over the United States — and understanding how close the plan is to being successful — may be the most important seven minutes of your life. Please watch and share this with everyone who doesn’t want to start their day with a cricket smoothie.
Bezemenov laid out the Soviet plan in four parts:
Demoralize people until they can’t tell fact from fiction.
Destabilize the target nation’s economy, defense systems, and foreign relations. (Bidenomics is a joke, the military is woke and suffering from a lack of volunteers, and our foreign relations are about to start WWIII.)
Crisis: foment a major event that causes our system to implode (such as seven million immigrants crashing our welfare system and economy, or a sudden lack of gas/energy, as we have seen in Sri Lanka and Nigeria).
Normalization: the government implements socialism to make it all “better.”
Then there’s the Cloward-Piven Strategy.
Cloward and Piven were nutjob professors at Columbia University (remember, Bezmenov mentioned professors as part of the Soviet plan to topple America) who came up with a scheme to bring socialism to the United States and a sense of fairness to the impecunious white trashcaucasian debris who celebrate Christmas by smearing Cheese Whiz on celery and believe Little Debbie is a food group.
This four-part skulduggery somewhat mirrors what Bezmenov warned us about. Its steps are:
Overload the welfare system (the illegal immigrants are doing that as you read this);
PINKO-RAMA! If you want to know which news outlets are run by fork-tongued commies, look for the ones that refute the damage being purposely wrought upon us by the crush of illegal immigrants coming over the borders.
According to the plan Bezmenov laid out, we are easily halfway through part two of the evil commie scheme to destroy America. Next up, we will have a major crisis. It could be something as calamitous as WWIII, a major power outage, a recession, or something the CIA has cooked up that may not even be real, like an invasion of little huge green men in Las Vegas. Whatever it is, it will be intentional.
MISS CLEO-RAMA! As I write this, there is an “alien fire” near Las Vegas. I should be a psychic!
Looking at the Cloward-Piven playbook, we are well into part three. Once the nation’s financial system is gutted, Biden will likely announce a plan to usher in socialism so that we don’t have to resort to eating our house pets. Anyway you slice it, something devastating — and intentional — is on the not-so-distant horizon, according to both of these strategies.
In my estimation, the fastest way to a crisis is to stop the production and distribution of food. Most people have, at best, seven days’ worth of chow in their pantries and refrigerators — that is if they just got home from Kroger minutes before reading this. In reality, we are about three days away from buck-shotting our marauding neighbors as they try to slit our throats for our last can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew.
I don’t know what kind of calamity our disaster masters are planning, but my inner Miss Cleo — who is batting 100% today — tells me it will occur before Election Day 2024.

In what seems to be another attempt at discouraging firearm activities, the Department of Education has decided to withhold the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) funds from hunting and archery education programs nationwide.
Due to the attack at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, the Department of Education decided to pass the 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. This new policy required the department to withhold certain grant funds from school archery and hunting programs.
The specific provision in the act was an amendment to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, which prohibits federal funds from going to programs that “provide to any person a dangerous weapon or training in the use of a dangerous weapon.”
Logical-thinking people would understand that more training would increase responsible gun ownership, but the anti-gun segment of our population sees this topic differently. We understand that when people think like this, they usually project their own thoughts about what they think “they” might do with a gun. Some cannot see that the thoughts in their own mind are not necessarily those of others. Many within the anti-gun circles have been conditioned to believe that guns are used only for killing, so they have a hard time seeing the topic rationally. This results from decades of anti-gun mind manipulation perpetuated on people who can’t think for themselves.
Democrats play the long game in disarming their fellow citizens and convincing the weak-minded to go along in their pursuit.
We’ve seen their attempts to tax ammo in what would appear to be an attempt at shutting down gun ranges by making it overly expensive to practice. They understand that if ammo is expensive enough, parents won’t be spending time at the range, and this would certainly reduce the amount of time they spend training their children. If the next generation of children grow up without guns in the household and without any familiarity or interest, they will likely be non-gun-owners in their adult lives. The anti-gun strategy is generational, and they seem to be determined to do anything they can to reverse the naturally instinctive desire for gun ownership in America. In this case, removing all opportunities for kids to learn about guns only helps their agenda.
Under this new defunding scheme, millions of students will be denied the ability to learn firearm safety and will be unable to participate in recreational shooting sports. It would seem that is the idea.
In response to this new attempt by the Government to discourage American gun ownership, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, from New York’s District 21, said:
“This is the most recent example of a series of far-left pushes by the Biden administration and education secretary Cardona in the name of their partisan political agenda. Despite long-standing, bipartisan congressional support, the Department of Education has decided to eliminate the opportunity for millions of American students to exercise their Second Amendment right by safely learning to use firearms and participate in recreational, shooting sports.”
The left is very strategic in the way they attack the 2nd Amendment. This is just another attempt at their goal of a government-controlled citizenry. However, they can’t seem to get rid of that pesky 2nd Amendment.

Possibly somewhere on the Eastern Seaboard) recently hosted a family night to help people learn how to summon and trap demons. Who needs Monopoly or Uno when you have the entire Realm of Darkness to play in? “No, kids, we’re not playing ‘Sorry’ tonight! Andy, you put the dishes away. Cindy, get your crayons and draw us a pentagram on the basement floor. Honey? Do you have dessert ready?”
Sheesh.
This past Saturday, the center hosted Tamar Ettun, an artist who specializes in creating demon traps. Yep, that’s a thing. According to a report in Alpha News, this was the event description:
Demons have a bad reputation, but maybe we’re just not very good at getting to know them. Families are invited to create a vessel to trap the demon that knows them best — perhaps the ‘demon of overthinking’ — and then participate in a playful ceremony to summon and befriend their demon. After designing your trap, Lilit the Empathic Demon will come from the dark side of the moon to lead you in locating your feelings using ancient Babylonian techniques. This collective and playful demon summoning session will conclude with a somatic movement meditation, designed to help you befriend your shadows. (sic)
Forget “Candy Land,” let’s make a demon trap! Didn’t anybody see the original “Ghostbusters”? Summoning demons using ancient Babylonian techniques never ends well.

As C.S. Lewis observed it is dangerous to become too fascinated with demons. But it is equally dangerous to ignore them, and one does so at one’s peril. After all, demons operate by deception. Demons know that if people truly understood what they really were, no one would get within ten city blocks of them. So they pretend to be innocuous. Demons portray themselves as helpful, playful, misunderstood creatures that just got a bad rap for being freethinkers. They only want to expand your mind and let you express yourself. Worse yet, they may be able to convince you that they are metaphorical. And you may believe that until you become a slave to all that free thought and self-expression and can’t even recognize yourself in a mirror. It may be a game to Ettun and the misguided families who showed up for this event. But to the demons, it’s deadly serious.

WASHINGTON, Aug 16 (Reuters) – Robert Malley, who in June was put on unpaid leave from his post as U.S. special envoy for Iran because his security clearance is under review, will teach a course on foreign policy at Princeton University this fall, Princeton said on Wednesday….
U.S. President Joe Biden tapped Malley in January 2021 to try to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, under which Tehran agreed to limit its nuclear program to make it harder to obtain a nuclear weapon in return for economic sanctions relief.
Malley was not able to resurrect the agreement…
Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs said in a statement that Malley would teach a graduate course this fall on foreign policy decision-making and one or two undergraduate courses on some combination of diplomacy, negotiation, and foreign policy in the spring.
“While I am on leave from the State Department, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with the next generation of public servants,” Malley said in the statement. “I look forward to my time at Princeton and returning to government service in due course.”
It is unclear when or how the review of Malley’s security clearance may be concluded. According to media reports, Malley’s clearance was suspended amid an investigation of his handling of classified material.

America is adrift today as God's design for gender, marriage and sexuality is often ignored and even cast aside in favor of a counterfeit approach. The Word of God is our only anchor in the midst of the cultural storm. When people “exchange the truth of God for a lie” (Romans 1:25), they become terribly disoriented.
LGBT ideology has created even bigger headaches in our nation’s public schools than in the boardrooms of Bud Light and Target. And in case youhaven’t noticed, a growing number of parents are speaking up and exercising their rights regarding the education of their children. Thankfully, many states are stepping up to protect the hearts and minds of unsuspecting children and teens in public schools.
For example, the Florida Board of Education has “approved a ban on classroom instruction about sexual orientation and gender identity in all grades (K-12), expanding the law that bans those lessons up to grade 3.” This clearly seems to be the educational approach the majority of parents in our country desire for their children.
Alternatively, Connecticut’s first LGBT-centered school is scheduled to open later this year. Patricia Nicolari plans to open this private school as an institution that “fosters a queer-friendly environment.” PROUD Academy is the first such school in Connecticut, and the fifth in the nation.
Millions of parents believe that LGBT indoctrination in public schools is a serious threat to their child’s education and peace of mind, while other parents want their children in a classroom where LGBT ideology is central to the curriculum. The majority of Americans agree that public schools are not the place for such inappropriate instruction.
Naturally, many Americans saw the storm approaching long before the drag queen story hours in public libraries and the recent Bud Light and Target debacles.
“Parents do not send their children to school to get indoctrinated with gender myths that contradict biology and human anatomy. Young people face enough fear and anxiety in our world today without their grade school teachers frightening them with stories of transgender experiments on children.”
The LGBT activist agenda sure feels like a religion in America today. President Ulysses S. Grant stated, “Leave the matter of religion to the family altar, the Church, and the private school, supported entirely by private contributions. Keep the Church and state forever separate.”
PROUD Academy will offer students what certain parents want for their children, while Florida’s Board of Education has given parents in Florida the safe space they desire for their children. America is a land of options where parents across the ideological spectrum have a variety of convictions about what they believe is best for their children.
And with a mental health crisis afflicting so many young people today, many parents are being especially vigilant concerning the instruction their children receive at school. As LGBT activists continue to add more letters to their acronyms and more pronouns to their agenda, parents deserve and reserve the right to decide how and when they will address such weighty issues with their own children at home.
PROUD Academy articulates a clear vision for its curriculum and for after-school programs that align with its perspective on human sexuality and gender.
Now compare that upfront approach to what developed recently in Colorado, where some families sued the school district for encouraging girls to join a “secret” LGBT club. The secrecy surrounding this after-school club is deeply troubling, especially since the students were told they would be attending an “art club” and that it would be OK to lie to their parents about the club meetings. Many discerning parents recognize and identify such deceitful tactics as “grooming.”
Meanwhile, Florida is leading the way in truthfulness and transparency regarding their educational agenda.
As Florida Rep. Chase Tramont said, “In the image of God, he created them. Male and female, he created them. Folks this is rock solid, irreversible, validated by science and our medical community. Period. You are either male or female. This is not subject to one’s opinion. It is demonstrable fact.”
Since millions of Americans agree with Rep. Tramont, we will continue to see state legislatures across the country working to protect the mental health of children and the God-given rights of parents.

The Disney II Magnet Elementary and High School is a public school located in Chicago, Illinois. Its website proudly boasts the motto “A place to learn, discover, and do.” But not, apparently, to dissent.
An engineer who worked for the Chicago Public Schools reports that she was summarily fired from her position at the school after she raised concerns about a student-produced Drag show that was sponsored by the school’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) club.
According to the engineer, who spoke anonymously with Libs of TikTok, a flurry of posters had gone up around the school’s campus urging students in grades 7-12 to join a “Drag & Talent Show.” Concerned that such a performance might be inappropriate for underage students, the engineer voiced her concerns to a school security guard, stating “I can’t get on board with that,” referring to the poster.
Assistant school principal Matt Fasana overheard this private conversation and immediately asked her to explain. When the engineer expressed her reservations about a drag show being an appropriate event for middle and high school students to take part in, the assistant principal accused her of not supporting “equal opportunity.” The engineer responded, “I am for equal opportunity. I just don’t think that drag is equal opportunity.”
Despite her legitimate concerns about the drag show, the engineer was eager to maintain a positive relationship with the assistant principal and so later apologized for her tone, again explaining that she was just concerned about the safety of the students. But apparently, the die had already been cast. Just a few hours later, the engineer was informed that she was being placed on paid leave. One week later, after a brief meeting with Eco-Alpha, the company that manages her and contracts her to the Chicago Public Schools, the engineer was told she was officially being terminated, allegedly for “disciplinary actions.”
Unwilling to stand for such blatant discrimination for her views on safeguarding children, the engineer hired a lawyer and pressed for further answers, filing a grievance complaint.
“In the Chicago Public Schools training videos, it says ‘If you see something, say something,’” the employee explained in her grievance letter. “I felt with the training I received from CPS, I was supposed to say something. How was I going to work somewhere where the safety of myself, students, and staff wasn’t taken into consideration?”
The engineer explained to Libs of TikTok that this wasn’t her first experience being exposed to transgender ideology or inappropriate material while working at the school. During her training period, she was required to watch a video featuring a 13-year-old transgender student who is dressed in fishnet stockings and lingerie.
After filing her grievance complaint, the engineer received a second letter from her employer, changing the alleged reason for her termination. This second letter claimed that she “knowingly and repeatedly made discriminatory statements” in violation of her employer’s Code of Conduct—an obvious reference to her privately-voiced concerns about a student-led drag show.
Ironically, the engineer notes that after her termination, she “found out the posters were taken down and at a later date the show was cancelled.”
“If there weren’t safety and security issues that I acknowledged, why would the posters be taken down and the talent show cancelled?” she asked. Chicago Public Schools has not so far deigned to give her an answer.

It is nothing short of disturbing that the world at large is willing to either deny or turn a blind eye to the annual indoctrination at summer camp of Palestinian children to murder Israelis. The role of the vulnerable children in “defending the homeland” also includes suicide bombings, a well-known practice that the world continues to ignore.

Every year, summer camps are held for the Palestinian children in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. The camps are sponsored by the Higher Council for Youth and Sports, which is subordinate to the PLO and headed by Jibril Rajoub, who is also secretary-general of Fatah’s Central Committee.
This year, the approximately 650 summer camps were attended by about 65,000 girls and boys.[1] The name for the camps this year was “Luminaries Not Numbers,”[2] with the aim of raising the children’s awareness about terrorists who have perpetrated attacks against Israelis and whose bodies have not been returned to the Palestinian Authority (PA) but are buried in specially designated Israeli cemeteries.[3]
Camp activities included glorification of these terrorists, as luminaries whose examples should be followed. The children learned about them, were photographed holding pictures of them, and decorated the camps with posters bearing the terrorists’ names and photos. In some of the camps, the children were divided into groups named for the terrorists. Also at the camps were activities glorifying terrorists currently imprisoned in Israel for carrying out attacks in which Israeli civilians and soldiers were killed.
At the opening ceremony for this year’s summer camps in the Gaza Strip, Fata [sic] Central Committee member Ahmed Hils, who is also Fatah’s Commissioner for Recruitment and Organization in the Gaza Strip, stressed that the “Luminaries Not Numbers” name for the camps “is very important because it familiarizes the pioneers [i.e. the campers] with the suffering of the families of the martyrs, whose bodies are held in the Cemeteries of the Numbers.” Asserting that “the Israeli enemy strives to deprive our people of its identity and to transform [the martyrs] into nothing but numbers,” he added that “for our people, they are true luminaries. The martyrs are luminaries and the prisoners are luminaries… These luminaries will continue to glow in the sky of the homeland.”[4]
At the closing ceremony for the summer camps, Higher Council for Youth and Sports and Fatah Central Committee head Rajoub said: “The name ‘Luminaries Not Numbers’ was chosen in the steadfast belief that our martyrs are luminaries who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, and that they were and will remain in the people’s memory.” Calling Israel’s refusal to return the terrorists’ bodies is a mark of disgrace for the occupation, he added, “We shall neither rest nor be at ease until these martyrs [receive] the respect they deserve.”…….

Despite the storm of scandals and controversies swirling around the bruised and battered Hillsong Church in Australia and the Bethel Church in California, worship leaders are not shying away from incorporating songs from these two megachurches into their worship sessions.
A recent study unveiled this week shows that worship leaders gravitate towards these songs not because they top the worship charts but because they have a personal connection with them, often discovered online, at conferences, or through friends’ recommendations. According to the study:
“The most influential factors in discovering a new worship song are peer endorsements and personal experiences. Worship leaders mainly trust their friends and fellow church leaders to provide them with song recommendations.”
The study draws on responses from over 400 worship leaders across the U.S. and Canada, seeking their insights on music production and their song selection process for worship.
Demonstrating a woeful lack of discernment, a mere 16% of worship leaders admitted to being less inclined to choose a song associated with Hillsong. In comparison, 27% expressed a similar hesitancy towards songs linked to Bethel.
On the other hand, a significant 62% confessed they were likely to pick songs from Hillsong, with a slightly lesser 48% saying they would likely opt for songs associated with Bethel.
Three months ago, Worship Leader Research reported that four megachurches were responsible for producing and releasing nearly all the top worship songs released in the last decade, with Hillsong and Bethel being two of them.

Up in Bangor, Maine, at least parents can rest assured that in the local public schools, their children are learning about what’s really important. At Bangor High School, enlightened educators doled out $1,000 to a young man who calls himself Priscilla Poppycocks and dresses up as an exaggerated mockery of a woman. Priscilla Poppycocks enjoyed this payday for the hard work of regaling students with tales of “his life growing up gay in Maine.” As far as these learned administrators are concerned, it was money well spent: after all, young Maine residents will need to be well-versed in the religion of the state, don’t they?
According to a Fox News report Tuesday, Freedom of Access Act (FOAA) documents revealed yet another revolting episode of our age of absurdity: Priscilla Poppycocks, a drag queen whose real name is Dominick Varney, “spoke to Bangor High School students on May 4 as part of the school’s ‘Support, Educate, Empower’ series to ‘empower’ LGBT students.” The good news is that “the school confirmed to Fox News Digital that Varney did not attend in drag.” Hey, that’s terrific, but couldn’t Bangor High School have found something else to support, educate, and empower students about? Are our public schools now just one long advertisement for homosexuality?
The money that the school used to pay Dominic Varney was actually supposed to go for a different kind of propaganda. The dough came out of a $15,000 grant that the school received from the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, which endeavors to “advance racial equity in public education.” Now, you might have thought that since the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, racial inequality in education was illegal, stigmatized, and vanishingly rare. But don’t you see that you’re overlooking all that systemic racism that we need Critical Race Theorists to come point out for us?
The Nellie Mae Education Foundation explains: “We believe that applying a racial equity lens is essential for analyzing and solving problems that have endured for generations, impact individuals and communities of color most acutely, and ultimately affect ALL people, whether in other marginalized or privileged groups.” “Racial equity,” of course, means blaming white people for as much as possible, no matter how outlandish, and demanding special privileges for “people of color.”
That much is clear, but what’s not clear is how Dominic Varney’s presentation advanced those divisive objectives. Varney, after all, is white. Bangor, Maine is 88% white. And Priscilla Poppycocks didn’t show up to spread race victimhood propaganda. Fox noted that “in the 90-minute workshop, titled ‘Make Them Hear You,’ Varney discussed ‘growing up gay in Maine.’” The flier announcing the event enthused: “During our conversations together you will have some opportunities to experience some acting techniques and gain some first-hand knowledge of how being different is the biggest advantage we all have to be successful in our lives. And most likely, you’ll hear him sing!”
Being different? Really? In 2023 in American public schools, nothing could be more go-along and conformist than being gay and learning from drag queens all about how to be “different.” Nothing could be more establishment than going to high school and not learning any math, science, or (perish the thought) history, but instead gathering at the feet of a professional drag queen in order to hear about how stunning and brave it is to be homosexual, if not transgender.
And this was definitely an either/or situation: students who wanted to hear Varney were excused from class from 12:30 to 2 p.m., and indoctrination was very much the order of the day: Bangor High English teacher Emilie Brand Throckmorton, who no doubt spends a great deal of class time teaching pronoun fantasies, wrote to Varney: “I just know you are a role model for these kids, and we just want you to shine your light on them.”
The effect of this sort of thing is clear. The New York Postreported Monday that “the number of Brown University students identifying as LGBTQ+ has doubled since 2010,” and is now approaching forty percent. Tell kids every day of their lives that being homosexual is courageous and heroic, and you’ll get more homosexuals.
Yet one of the many problems with this is that over in China, Russia, and Iran, no drag queens are working in public schools to make new recruits. Only young people who are actually courageous and heroic are called courageous and heroic. One day, there will come a showdown between these two radically different visions of education, and of society in general. America is not likely to get the better of it.

The left’s attempts to keep parents in the dark about what they’re teaching their children in school haven’t been surprising. Giving kids a completely skewed and off-kilter view of American history, for example, is part of a larger effort to substitute their own narrative for what had been a far less critical and more balanced telling of the American story.
Now, a FOIA request from Parents Defending Education has unearthed a brazen attempt by a public school district in Ohio to circumvent parental involvement in the most personal aspects of a child’s life.
The Columbus City Schools spent $24,000 on a two-day seminar for teachers, counselors, and other educators on “Queer and Trans Inclusion.” The seminar recommended teachers avoid sharing a student’s new gender identity with parents and that there be a “private place within the student’s records.”
“Affirmed name should be used, regardless of legal name, on all paperwork and printed materials,” one of the slides in the presentation reads. “Legal name is kept in a segregated, confidential file. If the student’s caregivers are not supportive or cannot know about their affirming name, there should be a private place within the student’s records to indicate the name and pronouns that staff and peers should use for the student, aligning with the student’s wishes.”
Deliberately falsifying a child’s records to hide from parents what any normal psychologist would tell us is a serious psychological condition is beyond belief. Parents must be given all the facts so they can decide what the best course of action — medical or psychological — is for their children.
There is no “born this way” for transgender children. There’s no gene that “turns on” and morphs a child into a different gender. And when adults encourage (pressure?) kids to believe they’re not the gender they were born and keep the “transition” from parents, doesn’t that sound an awful lot like child abuse?
Educators were given multiple scenarios throughout the presentation one asking what a teacher would do if a student's parent was not aware of their gender identity. These scenarios were given just a few slides after the educators were instructed to refrain from contacting students' parents about gender identity. [Emphasis original]
“Transgender and non-binary students have FERPA-protected right to privacy; this extends to a student’s gender identity, birth name, sex assigned at birth, and medical history. This includes privacy rights from parents/caregivers,” seminar attendees were told.
I can’t believe privacy laws were created to keep this kind of information from parents. Whatever legal loophole the leftist instructors are using to make that claim needs to be closed immediately.

The abbess of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles speaks with reporter Catherine Hadro about Sister Wilhelmina’s life and her experience when the foundresses’ remains were exhumed.
Hundreds of people flocked to a small town in Missouri this week and last to see a nun whose body has barely decomposed since 2019. Some say it’s a sign of holiness in Catholicism, while others say the lack of decomposition may not be as rare as people think.
Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster was exhumed in April, according to a statement from the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, in Gower, Missouri.
The nuns had been preparing for the addition of a St. Joseph shrine, and that involved “the reinterment of the remains of our beloved foundress, Sister Wilhelmina,” the statement said.
When they exhumed Lancaster, they were told to expect only bones, since she had been buried in a simple wooden coffin without any embalming four years ago.
Instead, they discovered an intact body and “a perfectly preserved religious habit,” the statement said. The nuns hadn’t meant to publicize the discovery, but someone posted a private email publicly and “the news began to spread like wildfire.”
Volunteers and local law enforcement have helped to manage the crowds in the town of roughly 1,800 people, as people have visited from all over the country to see and touch Lancaster’s body.
“It was pretty amazing,” said Samuel Dawson, who is Catholic and visited from Kansas City with his son last week. “It was very peaceful. Just very reverent.”
Dawson said there were a few hundred people when he visited and that he saw many out-of-state cars.
Visitors were allowed to touch her, Dawson said, adding that the nuns “wanted to make her accessible to the public ... because in real life, she was always accessible to people.”
The monastery said in a statement that Lancaster’s body will be placed in a glass shrine in their church on Monday. Visitors will still be able to see her body and take dirt from her grave, but they won’t be able to touch her.
The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph also released a statement.

“The condition of the remains of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster has understandably generated widespread interest and raised important questions,” the diocese said. “At the same time, it is important to protect the integrity of the mortal remains of Sister Wilhelmina to allow for a thorough investigation.”
“Incorruptibility has been verified in the past, but it is very rare. There is a well-established process to pursue the cause for sainthood, but that has not been initiated in this case yet,” the diocese added.
The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, also said that Lancaster has not yet reached the required minimum of five years since death for the sainthood process to begin.
Rebecca George, an anthropology instructor at Western Carolina University in North Carolina, said the body’s lack of decomposition might not be as rare as people are expecting.
George said the “mummification” of un-embalmed bodies is common at the university’s facility and the bodies could stay preserved for many years, if allowed to.
Coffins and clothing also help to preserve bodies, she said.
“Typically, when we bury people, we don’t exhume them. We don’t get to look at them a couple of years out,” George said. “With 100 years, there might be nothing left. But when you’ve got just a few years out, this is not unexpected.”
