On Tuesday, the State Department published its 2023 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices. What should have been a non-political document completes the betrayal of Israel that the Biden administration began on March 25, when it refrained from having the U.S. veto a UN resolution calling for a Gaza ceasefire, the impact of which would enable the leadership of Hamas to survive and launch more attacks on Jews and Jewish babies. The clear meaning of the October 7 massacre was witnessed in Palestinians burning infants alive to cries of “Allahu Akbar” as though the incineration of the innocent – should they be Jews – is a holy sacrament rather than a sick episode in the wretched history of humanity’s inhumanity to its weakest members.

Far from being horrified by this celebration of evil, the Biden administration conflated the practices of the only civilized society in the Middle East with the monsters seeking its destruction.

Fox News noted that the Biden State Department report “highlighted Israel prominently, featuring concerns over the country’s precautions to minimize the civilian toll of Palestinians on the first page, which is normally reserved for the most egregious of human rights abusers.”

Not only does the report include Israel among the most barbaric human rights abusers – China, Putin’s Russia, the Taliban, and Iran, the would-be exterminators of the Jewish state — but “Israel was mentioned before the Biden administration’s State Department addressed ‘ongoing and brutal human rights abuses in Iran’ or ‘the Taliban’s systemic mistreatment of and discrimination against Afghanistan’s women and girls.’”

In Iran, they chant “Death to America” and have been waging war against their own people, brutally suppressing nationwide riots that broke out after Sharia police murdered a young woman, Mahsa Amini, who had been arrested for not wearing her hijab properly. In Afghanistan, girls have been denied the right to an education, and the Taliban regime’s Supreme Leader announced in late March: “We will flog women in public, we will stone them to death in public.” No similar quotes were offered by the State Department from Israel’s leaders… because there are none.

The State Department report treats Israel as a worse human rights abuser than any of the above.

As far as the State Department is concerned, Israel’s alleged human rights violations are so egregious that they warrant being discussed immediately after the report mentions “the Kremlin’s disregard and contempt for human rights,” which “are on full display in its war against Ukraine,” and the “horrific violence, death, and destruction, including mass killings, unjust detentions, rape, and other forms of gender-based violence” that the Sudanese Armed Forces have unleashed in that country. In other words, Israel – the only non-racist democracy in the Middle East – is worse than the slaveocracy in Sudan, when it comes to the Jews’ human rights records.

This is an obscene libel. John Spencer, who is chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute (MWI) at West Point, analyzed the IDF’s actions in Gaza and reported in late March that “Israel has implemented more precautions to prevent civilian harm than any military in history—above and beyond what international law requires and more than the U.S. did in its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Likewise, the British Colonel Richard Kemp stated earlier this month that in Gaza, “the ratio of deaths of civilians to military personnel was far lower than in other wars where armies had not been accused of war crimes, adding that he was not aware of any war crimes [committed by the IDF].’”

The State Department has ignored both Spencer and Kemp, and shown its appreciation for Goebbels’ infamous advice that people will more readily believe a Big Lie than a small one – as it happens in this case, also to further the latest campaign – to exterminate the Jews “from the river to the sea.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has insisted that not a single Jew will be allowed to live in a Palestinian state. This is not a plan for coexistence; it’s a recipe for genocide.

An Egyptian imam, Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub, made that plain in a 2009 televised sermon in which he articulated the neo-Nazi character of the anti-Israel war, saying that Muslim hatred of Jews had nothing to do with Israel and everything to do with the Qur’an:

“If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them. Absolutely not…. Your belief regarding the Jews should be, first, that they are infidels, and second, that they are enemies…. You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the Earth.”

Got it, Secretary of State Blinken? This is a thousand-year Islamic imperative, rooted in the Qur’an’s calls to “kill them wherever you find them” (2:191, 4:89, cf. 9:5).

Israel is in the midst of a war for its survival – not as a state but as the home of the Jews. The war against the jihadist military base in Gaza is not a political war, but a desperate effort to stave off a genocidal campaign which has been pursued without relief for 75 years in Gaza and more than a thousand years in the historic home of the Jews – the land around the Jordan. Yet its principal foes are radical Islamists – aided and abetted by a criminal White House, seeking votes and support from a neo-Nazi Left based in American universities, funded by a self-hating Jew – George Soros – who long ago should have been prosecuted for organizing illegal street demonstrations attacking Wall Street and endangering the lives of ordinary Americans in the process.

Thanks to the oddities of American elections, the Jews’ main enemy at this point is a criminal sitting in the White House who is desperately seeking votes in Michigan and selling his political influence to America’s enemies – and giving less of a damn about American citizens than any president in history before him.

Obama botches meaning of Passover, doesn’t mention hostages, and calls for empathy for Palestinians

At a sensitive time when antisemitism is soaring following the barbarity of October 7, Obama included Palestinians in his Passover message.

Did Barack Obama include Jews in his Ramadan messages? In them, does he mention the Israelis murdered by Palestinians and then rewarded by the Palestinian Authority’s “pay-for-slay” program?

In his Passover message, Obama also omitted mention of the horror Israel endured on October 7, and of its hostages, as well as the Jewish state’s struggle for survival. To top it off, Obama entirely botched the meaning of Passover.

In contrast, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday, in a perfect Passover reflection message:

Why is this night different, citizens of Israel?

On this night, 133 of our dear brothers and sisters are not around the Seder table, and they are still held hostage by Hamas in hellish conditions. (Israel Government Press Office)

Netanyahu also referenced “the rabbinic dictum that ‘in every generation, they rise to destroy us’” and stated “that the absence of the hostages over the upcoming holiday ‘only strengthens our determination to bring them back.’”

By undermining the greatest horror that Jews have collectively experienced since the Holocaust and the existential threat that Israel faces, Obama reveals his true sentiments regarding Jews. The obscene moral equivalence in his call for “empathy for those suffering in ‘Israel and Gaza,’” and “for solidarity with people of all religions” on the distinctly Jewish holiday of Passover is also revealing.

“Obama’s Passover Message Adds Palestinians Into the Story; Omits Hostages,” by Joel B. Pollak, Breitbart, April 22, 2024:

Former President Barack Obama used a Passover message on Monday to work Palestinians into the Jewish holiday, calling for empathy for those suffering in “Israel and Gaza,” and for solidarity with “people of all religions.”

Obama’s equivocation obscured the fact that Palestinian terrorists continue to hold 133 Israeli hostages.

He failed, in fact, to mention the hostages, instead saying that people should “remember everyone who is unable to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones.” He also failed to mention the ongoing wave of antisemitism on college campuses and in Democrat-run cities, saying that “people of all religions … deserve to feel safe and secure” wherever they are…..

Columbia-Barnard rabbi to Jewish students: ‘Return home as soon as possible and remain home’

Jewish students, like everyone else attending a university today, have paid their tuition fees and should have the same rights as all students. Or at least that’s the way it works in a functioning free society. But not anymore in Joe Biden’s America, where the rights of Jewish students are no longer being respected.

At Columbia University, pro-Hamas thugs have taken over:

Never again is happening all over again, as antisemites condemn Israel for defending its citizens and its state from obliteration, as any nation would do under similar circumstances.

Meanwhile, in a Passover message, the two-faced Joe Biden, who has been enabling Israel’s enemies, discussed October  7 and rising Jew-hatred, all while he sanctioned an IDF battalion and has called for Israel to lay down its weapons as it is attacked by Hamas and Iran.

“Columbia-Barnard rabbi tells Jewish students to stay home for safety,” by David Isaac, JNS, April 22, 2024:

Rabbi Elie Buechler, who co-directs the Orthodox Union’s Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC) for Columbia University and Barnard College, told Jewish students on Sunday to stay home until the campus environment improves.

“What we are witnessing in and around campus is tragic. "The events of the last few days, especially last night, have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD [New York City Police Department] cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy,” the rabbi wrote to a group of 290-plus students on the WhatsApp messaging app.

“It deeply pains me to say that I strongly recommend you return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved,” he wrote…..

North Carolina imam calls upon Muslim youth to ‘raise the banner of jihad’

Calls to jihad and to murder Jews are increasingly being proclaimed openly by imams and Hamas supporters such as Imam Khadem AbuZain, and with no legal consequences. Westerners are largely apathetic in the face of the increasingly aggressive global jihad.

“Greenville, North Caroline Friday Sermon By Imam Khadem AbuZain: Allah Decreed Friday Sermons In Order To Inspire Our Youth To Raise The Banner Of Jihad; We Have Been Numbed To The Nature Of The Jews Because We Lived In .So-Called Peace With Them,” MEMRI, March 22, 2024:

In his March 22, 2024 Friday sermon at the Islamic Center of Eastern North Carolina in Greenville, N.C., Imam Khadem Abuzain said that Allah had decreed Friday sermons in order to inspire Muslim youth to raise the banner of jihad. He said that Muslims have been “numbed” towards the true nature of the Jews because they have lived in “so-called” peace with them. AbuZain added that the Jews’ hearts have been hardened, they killed prophets, they strive to spread corruption on Earth, and they are selfish. He continued to say that the people of Gaza have taught Muslims about Jihad and resistance. AbuZain added that they “welcome death” and give their children as “sacrament.” He said that they are the sons of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and the grandchildren of Arab Revolt leader and the namesake of Hamas’s military wing, ‘Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam. The sermon was uploaded to the YouTube channel of the Islamic Center of Eastern North Carolina.

Imam Khadem AbuZain: “Allah is the most high, when we decided He decreed this [Friday] sermon, a great and solemn ritual every week, which includes these words in it, that may awake the good that is in this Islamic nation, so that its words may continue to kindle the fire of hope and faith in Islam in the Chest of our youth, causing a shock in their chest and hearts so that perhaps one day they will raise the banner of Jihad.

[…]

“These are the Jews, that is their nature, that we have always been numbed [to] by living in so-called peace with them.

[…]

“What do we expect from people whose hearts have been hardened like stones or even more cruel?

[…]

“What do we expect from people whose hands are stained with the blood of the apostles and the prophets?

[…]

“This Jewish nation that has been cursed by Allah is thirsty for blood and war.

[…]

“They thrive to spread corruption on Earth, and you will see selfishness in them.

[…]

“The Jews of yesterday are the same Jews of today, and the crimes you see today are the same crimes that were committed by the Jewish gangs when the Zionist entity was established in 1948.

[…]

“Dear brothers and sisters, why Gaza? Why Gaza now? Gaza is harboring the heroes of Palestine who announced the principle of Jihad and resistance.

[…]

“It is those who welcome death for the sake of honor. They have given their children as sacrament, as… and history will document this. Those are the sons of Sheikh [Ahmed] Yassin… and the grandkids of ‘IZZ Al-Din Al-Qassam.”

Netanyahu calls US sanctions against IDF unit ‘the height of absurdity’ and a ‘moral low’

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2024/04/netanyahu-calls-us-sanctions-against-idf-unit-the-height-of-absurdity-and-a-moral-low; republished below in full, unedited, for informational, educational, & research purposes:

The extent to which the Biden administration has been interfering in the business of Israel has become a provocation. An enemy is an enemy, but a fickle friend is dangerously unpredictable. Such is the Biden administration in its harassment of Israel at a time when Israel is embroiled in an existential war.

This is the first time ever that America has imposed sanctions on an Israeli military unit. It’s “absurd” and a “moral low,” as Netanyahu rightly states.

The sanctions follow “a special State Department panel that investigated alleged violations of human rights based on the Leahy law recommended months ago that Blinken disqualify multiple Israeli military and police units that operate in the West Bank from receiving U.S. aid.” Who are the members of this panel, and why now? They are clearly anti-Israel and biased.

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant has stated:

“The commanders and troops of the Netzach Yehuda battalion operate on the frontline – since the outbreak of the war. They have been working to push Hezbollah forces from the northern border to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria, and most recently, they are operating to dismantle Hamas brigades in Gaza. They are risking their lives and fighting terrorism. The battalion’s activities are carried out in accordance with the values of the IDF and in accordance with international law. Any event that deviates from the aforementioned standards is addressed accordingly.

Any attempt to criticize an entire unit casts a heavy shadow on the actions of the IDF, which operates to protect the citizens of Israel. Damage to one battalion, affects the entire defense establishment – this is not the right path for partners and friends.

Our friends and our enemies are closely watching the ties between Israel and the United States, now more than ever. I call on the U.S. Administration to withdraw its intention to impose sanctions on the Netzach Yehuda battalion.” (Courtesy: Israel Government Press Office).

The Biden administration is demonstrating its weakness and fickleness as Iran watches. Israel is faced with the consequences, while America will also pay an unknown price, but one that it will not evade paying. Iran regards Israel as “Little Satan” and America as the “Great Satan.” Iran will not stop its aggression against Israel. U.S. sanctions on an IDF unit only aid Iran.

“Netanyahu: Absurd for US to sanction IDF soldiers as they fight terror,” by Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, April 21, 2024:

“At a time when our soldiers are fighting terrorist monsters, the intention to sanction a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low,” Netanyahu wrote in a post on "X."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out at the United States for its plans to issue its first-ever sanctions against IDF units over alleged human rights violations, starting with the Netzah Yehuda Battalion, which in the past has been accused of mistreating Palestinians.

Among the more high-profile incidents was the death of Palestinian American Omar As’ad, 80, of a heart attack in January 2022 after he had been detained, blindfolded, gagged, and handcuffed by that battalion in the West Bank.

Netanyahu calls for the government to act against move “I will fight this with all my powers,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Israeli public in a video address.

Minister Benny Gantz, who is a former defense minister and IDF chief of staff, spoke with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday and asked him to rescind the decision, which, he warned, “will harm Israel’s international legitimacy during the time of war.”…

Yale: Police storm campus with riot gear, arrest students at pro-Hamas protest encampment

“Yale does not tolerate actions, including remarks, that threaten, harass, or intimidate members of the university’s Jewish, Muslim, and other communities.”

No one is harassing, threatening or intimidating Muslim students; nor should they. But the university administration has to add “Muslim” in so as to try to avoid charges of “Islamophobia.”

“Police storm Yale University’s campus with riot gear and arrest students as hundreds stage anti-Israel protest,” by Emily Crane, New York Post, April 22, 2024:

Police clad in riot gear swarmed Yale University’s Connecticut campus early Monday and began arresting students who had been staging an anti-Israel protest encampment there for several days.

Footage posted online showed cops arriving at the Ivy League school and blocking off entrances to a plaza on the New Haven campus, where roughly 200 protesters had been gathered….

As police descended on the campus, a group of defiant students had locked arms around a flagpole and were singing “We shall not be moved” — as officers could be seen checking the dozens of tents erected in the plaza, according to a video posted on X.

While the arrests were underway, others could be heard taunting the Yale Police Department [sic] (YPD), “YPD or KKK, IDF they’re all the same” and chanting, “Arab blood is not cheap, for the martyrs we will speak.”…

“Yale does not tolerate actions, including remarks, that threaten, harass, or intimidate members of the university’s Jewish, Muslim, and other communities….

Columbia University Descends Into Pure Racist Hatred

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2024/04/columbia-university-descends-into-pure-racist-hatred; republished below in full, unedited, for informational, educational, & research purposes:

Details on Columbia University’s descent into pure racist hatred can be found here: “‘Burn Tel Aviv to the ground: Calls for violence continue at Columbia,” by Michael Starr, Jerusalem Post, April 21, 2024:

In another Instagram video, in which a poster of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine secretary-general Ahmad Sa’adat can be seen in the background, anti-Israel activists sang, “Oh Hamas, our beloved, strike, strike Tel Aviv.”

These students on Instagram display a PFLP official on a poster in the background, while they sing about a different terror group, Hamas, calling on its operatives to engage in a genocidal attack on Tel Aviv: “Oh Hamas, our beloved, strike, strike Tel Aviv.” Either they couldn’t find a Hamas poster to use or, more likely, they can’t tell the difference between Hamas and the PFLP.

As the counter-protesters returned to their dormitories, Students Supporting Israel Columbia video showed that they were taunted with calls of “Jews” and told to “go back to Poland.”

The word “Jew” is now considered, in the antisemitic atmosphere in which we now live, an insult. And note the constant insinuation that Jews in America don’t belong, that they must leave and “go back to Poland” or “go back to Europe.” Jews don’t belong here, and they don’t belong in “Palestine.” So let them go to some place in eastern Europe with their bagels and lox, and leave us, real Americans such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and Professor Joseph Massad, alone. Oh, we almost forget — there is always the Jewish Republic of Birobidzhan, in the godforsaken middle of Siberia. It's just a place for Jews to settle and read their Talmud undisturbed.

A Jewish counter-protester tried to stop activists from setting an Israeli flag on fire, according to SSI. In another video, a Jewish student was splashed with water.

Within Our Lifetime leader Nerdeen Kiswani, after her wedding, managed to enter the campus despite it being allegedly locked down. Kiswani led the crowd in a chant in a video published by Students for Justice in Palestinian Columbia, saying “There is only one solution, Intifada revolution.”

In a video published by Palestinian Youth Movement NYC, they chanted, “Zionism will fall, brick by brick, wall by wall, Israel will fall” and called “US imperialists, number one terrorists".

Uptown 4 Palestine published videos of activists proclaiming in Arabic that “From the water to the water (a reference to the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea), Palestine is Arab.” (The chant is an alternate version of the chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”)

As of now, Zionism will not “fall.” Israel goes from strength to strength. The Start-Up nation continues to produce unicorns, as Israeli scientists and entrepreneurs make advances in cybersecurity, solar energy, electric batteries, anti-missile defense systems, medicines, medical equipment, and much more. Israelis have more companies listed on our Stock Exchange than any other foreign country except China. Jews from Europe are making aliyah in ever-increasing numbers, undeterred by the current violence Israel’s military is ranked as the fourth most powerful in the world, after those of the United States, Russia, and China, and ahead of the UK, France, and Germany. It has made startling advances in military hardware, including the anti-missile defense systems David’s Sling, Iron Dome and, to be introduced into service next year, Iron Beam, a laser-based system that will cost only $2 for each lethal laser hit. And despite having had to fight, in its young life, four wars for its very survival (in 1948, 1967, 1973, and 2023-24), and many smaller campaigns against terror groups, including the PLO, Hamas, PIJ, PFLP, and Hezbollah, Israel has been ranked as the “fourth happiest nation,” after three Scandinavian countries, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. Quite a list of achievements for such a young, small country with hardly any natural resources, that is surrounded by enemies. What will bring the next 75 years bring?

Protesters at Columbia, UNC-Chapel Hill, Berkeley, Harvard, Rutgers and a hundred sundry other colleges, will yip and yap and issue their bloodcurdling threats about burning down Tel Aviv and removing Jews from America, but they have had no discernible effect except, one hopes, of getting themselves expelled from the schools that heretofore have coddled them. As for the IDF, it must now end the dismantling of Hamas by attacking its four last intact battalions in Rafah. Once that is accomplished, it must then proceed to destroy Hezbollah’s stockpiles of rockets and missiles in Lebanon. The last, and most important task, for the IDF is to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities so that there is no chance that Iran will be able to build a nuclear weapon. It’s a formidable To-Do List, but when has Israel ever failed at the tasks it sets itself?
