Disney to Air Ad Accusing Those Against Transgenderism for Children of “Tearing Families Apart”

The Walt Disney Company — for decades considered wholesome entertainment, suitable for children — is one of four companies set to air a public-service announcement that accuses people and states of the abusive practice of “transitioning” children to the opposite sex of attempting to “tear families apart.”

Comcast, WarnerMedia, and Paramount are the other companies that have agreed to run the ad.

Recently, the LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD released the ad, titled “Protect Our Families.” According to GLAAD, the minute-long message shows that “families with transgender kids are just like any other family: they love their kids unconditionally and simply want the best for them.”

The video features the Briggle family, especially Amber Briggle, the mother of Max and Lulu. But Briggle is not just the mother of Max and Lulu but a far-left activist, who is currently running for city council in Denton, Texas.

“There are some politicians who are trying to tear my family apart, simply because my son is transgender,” states Briggle, the mother of Max, a biological female presenting as a boy.

According to Briggle, a so-called transgendered child, including her own daughter, Max, “is no different than yours.”

While the ad doesn’t clearly assert which politicians or laws are bent on “tearing families apart,” it’s pretty clear that one of those states is Florida, and one of those politicians is Florida governor Ron De Santis, who recently signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill — referred to derisively as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill — into law in the Sunshine State. The law bars children in kindergarten through third grade from being taught material that is “not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

Disney in particular has taken great pains in recent weeks to attack De Santis and the new law after some employees complained about the company’s seeming lack of concern over the bill. On March 22, Disney employees staged a walkout to protest the company’s attitude regarding the bill. Since then, the company quickly did an about-face and loudly protested against the new law.

Since the workers’ tantrum, Disney has pledged to donate $5 million to LGBTQ advocacy groups, and Disney CEO Bob Chapek quickly apologized for not being woke enough and called De Santis’ office personally to register the company’s outrage that young students in the state would not be subjected to the radical agenda of GLAAD and other LGBTQ groups.

“Thank you to all who have reached out to me sharing your pain, frustration, and sadness over the company’s response to the Florida ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill,” Chapek wrote to employees. “Speaking to you, reading your messages, and meeting with you have helped me better understand how painful our silence was.”

Video then surfaced of Disney staff discussing the company’s response to the new Florida law. One video shows Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau saying that she was “basically adding queerness” to all sorts of programming intended for children.

De Santis retaliated by threatening to remove certain “special privileges” that Disney has enjoyed in the state, which allow the company to act as its own government on its vast properties in the state.

“When you’re trying to impose a woke ideology on our state, we view that as a significant threat,” De Santis said.

It also seems Briggle’s home state of Texas has been targeted, as evidenced by Briggle’s blog in which she claims to have “challenged the local sheriff” and “the Texas legislature.”

Led by Attorney General Ken Paxton, the Lone Star State has initiated an investigation of pharmaceutical companies that might have “deceptively advertised and promoted hormone blockers” for use in so-called transgendered children.

In addition, in February, Governor Greg Abbott issued a directive to the Texas Department of Family Protective Services to conduct investigations into parents who are allowing children to undergo “transition” therapies including hormone therapy and genital mutilation. Abbott’s directive was based largely on an opinion written by Paxton that such therapies could be considered child abuse.

So, perhaps Disney’s embrace of the full and unfettered LGBTQ agenda is as much about Briggle’s state of Texas as it is their own state of Florida.

For years, Disney has been a company associated with children and their happiness. Unfortunately, that focus has shifted into something far more sinister. Now instead of focusing on the entertainment of children, Disney is siding with those who would harm them.

UNIVERSITY OF BUFFALO: YOUNG AMERICANS FOR FREEDOM Conservative Student Forced to Hide in Bathroom to Escape Mob

Student ‘feared for life’ after being chased by woke mob targeting Allen West

UB Police investigating reports of harassment following politician's visit

Former Texas GOP Chair Lt. Col. Allen West slammed the "radical mob" that interrupted his speech on American exceptionalism at the University of Buffalo. West told "The Brian Kilmeade Show" Tuesday that he was appearing last week on behalf of the Young Americas Foundation to speak about race and make the argument that America is not a racist country. "Who better that they think could do that than someone such as myself who was born in a Blacks-only hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, 61 years ago?" said West. The author and former Florida congressman said that despite being born in an era of segregation, he has still become successful. He also noted that his wife came to the United States legally as an immigrant from Jamaica. His wife now holds an MBA and a Ph.D. However, many students did not want to hear his story. Video "As a matter of fact, they were very disruptive, and I think people have seen now that it was a mob, it was radical, it was militant, and I had to be escorted off of the campus by police officers. And then after that, they turned their angst against many of those conservative students that were there who had invited me to come and speak," he explained. West was not the only person targeted by the mob. Young Americans for Freedom President Therese Purcell joined "Fox & Friends First" Monday to discuss the incident and how the meeting spiraled out of control. "I was really afraid for my life since they physically assaulted my friend, and like I said, they were screaming, no peace," Purcell told co-host Todd Piro. "I don't think they were going to do anything remotely peaceful. They were a very angry mob, and they were clearly saying that they were trying to chase me, that they wanted to capture me." Video West noted how America was once a place where Black students needed to be escorted onto college campuses to protect them from White students. "Here I am having to be escorted off a university campus and being screamed at by Black students who still want to talk about how they're oppressed. How does their behavior solve anything?" he asked, saying the students were "triggered" because he does not share their perspective. "They had to end the event early and then outside they were banging, kicking doors, and screaming, ‘We want West.’ I got to tell you, I don't know what they wanted, but if anyone had tried to, you know, physically assault me, it would have been a not good day for them."

The president of the conservative Young Americans for Freedom club on the campus of the University of Buffalo was forced to run for her life and hide in a bathroom after a woke mob targeted her and began to chase her from a lecture given by conservative activist Allen West.

“They were a very angry mob, and they were clearly saying that they were trying to chase me, that they wanted to capture me,” Therese Purcell said in an appearance on Fox News Monday. “I’m afraid of what would have happened if I wasn’t able to hide from them.”

Washington Examiner:

“This despicable attack on conservative students prove exactly why YAF’s campus lectures are needed––to pop the liberal bubble and expose the hideous reality of the intolerant Left,” YAF spokeswoman Kara Zupkus wrote in a post on the organization’s website.

That may very well be true. But first, she has to survive the infantile tantrum-throwing by the woke mob that uses stormtrooper tactics to silence dissent.

Fox News:

Purcell claimed the threats escalated as protesters started screaming “no peace,” and “banging on the walls,” prompting Lt. Col. West to be escorted out by police.

Purcell said she followed him out alongside officials, but the mob quickly began to target her personally urging one another to “capture” her. She escaped into a bathroom to just barely evade the angry crowd.

“It was a really crazy event that we were trying to bring a Black voice to campus to talk about these issues of racism and American exceptionalism, and while they were screaming that we were trying to silence Black voices, we were actually trying to bring this conversation to campus,” Purcell stated.

Given the psychology of the mob, the “capture” of Purcell could very well have resulted in her being beaten to death. She was absolutely right to flee for her life.

Purcell seems genuinely perplexed that West’s “black voice” was not met with a receptive audience. She’s very young and will learn very quickly.

The woke mob is not interested in debate. They don’t want dialogue. They are ignorant of the forms and procedures of democratic dissent. They don’t care about other human beings at all.

They’re too stupid to realize they’re destroying the country. Or if they do realize it, they believe that to be a good thing.

POLICE STATE New Jersey to Force Second-Graders to Learn Explicit Details About ‘Gender Identity’

Welcome to “modern-day public school education."

The madness that is spreading through the land is coming to New Jersey second-graders: seven- and eight-year-olds with the misfortune of having to attend public schools will be forced this fall to learn all the latest fashionable insanity about how boys may really be girls and vice versa, setting up some of them to destroy their lives in the ensuing years. This is child abuse on a grand scale, otherwise known as a “modern-day public school education.”

New state sex education guidelines are set to take effect this September in the Garden State, requiring that once they have completed second grade, children should grasp the “core ideas” that all “individuals should feel welcome and included regardless of their gender, gender expression or sexual orientation.” Traditional morality would be disallowed under these guidelines, no matter how politely stated, for even a soft-spoken affirmation that some sexual orientations or gender expressions might actually be actively harmful to the human spirit would clearly not be welcome, and so are ruled out.

Predictably, it gets even worse. According to Fox News, “the standards listed ‘performance expectations’ for second graders, which includes discussing ‘the range of ways people express their gender and how gender role stereotypes may limit behavior.’” This range, of course, includes all of today’s officially sanctioned insanity, and the standards do everything they can to break down a child’s emerging sense of the differences between the sexes.

The child abuse starts as early as possible: “One lesson plan, ‘Purple, Pink and Blue,’ instructs teachers to talk to their first graders about gender identity, and its first objective is to have the students be able to define ‘gender, gender identity and gender role stereotypes.’” First-graders. And once these child victims have mastered the concept of “gender identity,” it’s on to gender fluidity: “The lesson’s second objective is to have students name ‘at least two things they’ve been taught about gender role stereotypes and how those things may limit people of all genders.’”

What on earth do first- and second-graders know about gender role stereotypes? Whatever they may know or not know, in New Jersey public schools they’re going to be breaking it down and filling their young charges’ heads with nonsense. A lesson plan states: “Gender identity is that feeling of knowing your gender. You might feel like you are a boy, you might feel like you are a girl. You might feel like you’re a boy even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘girl’ parts. You might feel like you’re a girl even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘boy’ parts. And you might not feel like you’re a boy or a girl, but you’re a little bit of both. No matter how you feel, you’re perfectly normal!” Anything and everything is “perfectly normal,” except, of course, believing that boys are boys and girls are girls and that one cannot become the other, or, for that matter, be a bit of boy and a bit of girl.

Fox notes that “another lesson plan for second graders, ‘Understanding Our Bodies,’ tells teachers to instruct students that ‘there are some body parts that mostly just girls have and some parts that mostly just boys have.’ Being a boy or a girl doesn’t have to mean you have those parts, but for most people, this is how their bodies are. Most people have a vulva and a vagina or a penis and testicles, but some people’s bodies can be different. Your body is exactly what is right for you.” This is a needless and irresponsible complication of something that is actually quite simple: actually having male body parts does mean that you’re a boy, and having female body parts means that you’re a girl. But clearly, that’s the agenda here: to sow confusion that can be exploited to recruit more transgenders and normalize defiant rejection of unwelcome realities.

Second-graders will also be required to “identify at least four body parts” from genitalia, and to describe “why it is important for them to know the correct names for the genitals.” Well, sure. If you’re going to trade them in for a new set, you’ll need to know their names.

New Jersey Assemblywoman Vicky Flynn, a Republican, had the last word on this criminal madness: “No kid should have to talk about sex with their elementary school teacher.” Indeed.

APOSTATE COMMUNIST Pope Francis Calls on Christians to Surrender Before Violence, AN UNBIBLICAL TEACHING

POPE FRANCIS DEFIES SCRIPTURE: “There is no such thing as a Just War.”

Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Pope Francis, a leading advocate of Doormat Christianity, is at it again, trying to reverse nearly two millennia of Christian doctrine, by preaching total passivity—even against violent aggression.

On March 18, 2022, Francis declared before an audience that “A war is always—always!—the defeat of humanity, always. We, the educated, who work in education, are defeated by this war because on another side we are responsible.”

So far, all well and good, if only because such lofty but impotent words are expected.

But then Francis went so far as to say, “There is no such thing as a just war: they do not exist!”

That is a remarkably dangerous claim, one that, if embraced—as no doubt it is by millions of similar naïve thinkers—can easily lead to their annihilation.

There is, indeed, such a thing as a just war—the only rational way of responding to unjust wars—and it is firmly grounded in Christian, especially Catholic, teaching, even if the head of the Catholic world argues otherwise.

In fact, from the very start, Christian theologians had concluded that “the so-called charity texts of the New Testament that preached passivism and forgiveness, not retaliation, were firmly defined as applying to the beliefs and behavior of the private person [and not the state],” to quote historian Christopher Tyerman.

Christ himself—who called on his followers to render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s (Matt. 22:21)—differentiated between the social and spiritual realms. In the only recorded instance of Jesus being slapped, he did not “turn the other cheek,” but rather challenged his slapper to explain himself (John 18:22–23). The Nazarene further praised a Roman centurion without calling on him to “repent” by resigning from one of the most brutal militaries in world history (Matt. 8: 5–13). Similarly, when a group of soldiers asked John the Baptist how they should repent, he advised them always to be content with their army wages (Luke 3:14)—and said nothing about their quitting the Roman army.

This is because there is “no intrinsic contradiction,” continues Tyerman, “in a doctrine of personal, individual forgiveness condoning certain forms of necessary public violence to ensure the security in which, in St. Paul’s phrase, Christians ‘may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty’ (1 Tim. 2:2).”

Or in the words of that chief articulator of Just War theory, Saint Augustine (354–430), “It is the injustice of the opposing side that lays on the wise man the duty to wage war.” Crusades historian Jonathan Riley-Smith elaborates:

What was evil in war itself? Augustine had asked. The real evils were not the deaths of those who would have died anyway, but the love of violence, cruelty, and enmity; it was generally to punish such that good men undertook wars in obedience to God or some lawful authority…. Expeditions to the Levant, North Africa, or the Iberian Peninsula could be justified as responses to present Muslim aggression or as rightful attempts to recover Christian territory which had been injuriously seized in the past.  [For more on the intricacies of just war theory, especially as compared and contrasted with unjust wars, which do merit condemnation, read “Just War vs. Just Plain Old Jihad.”]

Make no mistake: without just wars and the brave men who undertook them, the world today would be a very different place.  Europe, for instance, would have been Islamic—and not by willingly capitulating, as it is now, but by force: countless jihads were waged against it and other Christian nations, and they were repulsed only by the force of arms—by war, just war.

Indeed, even the Vatican itself, whence Pope Francis issues his lofty words of peace and love, has long been targeted and even attacked (for example in 846) by Muslims, and was saved only thanks to men acting in accordance with just war theory.

There is nothing wrong with Pope Francis’s generic condemnation of war and its horrors.  It is his usual lack of distinction—in this case, conflating just with unjust wars—that is problematic, if not suicidal.

See Ibrahim’s new book, Defenders of the West: The Christian Heroes Who Stood Against Islam, for more on just war theory in action.

Australian MP: 10-year-old School Girls Assigned Homework to Ask Their Dads About “Erections and Ejaculation”

Victorian Education Minister James Merlino backs school plan amid federal push | 7NEWS.com.au

A disturbing story from Victoria, Australia, illustrates the depths to which groomers in public education will stoop to sexualize children. Victorian MP Bernie Finn publicly addressed the minister for education, Labor MP James Merlino, about a note Finn had received from a constituent that included a homework assignment for her 10-year-old daughter to discuss her father’s “erections and ejaculation” with him.

In a YouTube video of a parliamentary meeting posted to his account on April 5, Finn says, “I wish to raise a matter this afternoon for the attention of the minister for education, and I have to say — It is not often in this job I am absolutely shocked. I thought I’d seen everything.” He goes on to explain that he received a “note from a constituent” which Finn then reads into the record.

The note included a photo of a worksheet that the constituent’s 10-year-old daughter brought home from school. Finn reads from the note, which states, “Part of her homework was to discuss his erections and ejaculation with her father.” The constituent (and more importantly, the young girl’s mother) also wrote, “I find this very disturbing and sickening. I have complained to the school and was told it was just part of the curriculum.”

By brushing it off as “just part of the curriculum,” the sexual groomers in Australian public education seem to be saying it is fine to require a prepubescent girl to ask her father about what happens to his manly parts during sexual arousal and intercourse. The mother/constituent rightly did not accept that “explanation.” Her note continued, “My daughter still plays with dolls and writes letters to the tooth fairy.” The incongruity in this is almost too much to grasp. On the one hand, a mother — who knows her daughter well — recognizes the childish innocence of a little girl who spends her playtime being a “mother” to her dolls and still has baby teeth about which to write letters to the tooth fairy. On the other hand, education officials approve of — and defend — a curriculum that includes an assignment for that innocent child to ask her father to discuss the details of his “erections and ejaculation.”

Against that backdrop, the mother wrote, “There is no way any little girl should be told to ask these questions.” Finn agreed, saying, “So say all of us,” and asking — as if in the voice of “all of us” — “What the hell is going on in this state when 10-year-old girls are told to go home and talk to their father about his erections and about his ejaculations? What the hell is going on here?”

In righteous indignation, Finn continues:

How the hell are we supposed to protect our kids when this sort of perversion is in our schools?

This is what is being dished up to them on a daily basis in a primary school — not even a secondary school — a primary school. This is just unbelievable. It’s staggering.

I could not imagine the reaction — I have three daughters — I could not imagine the reaction of any of them if they were told to do that. They would be traumatized for life. I don’t think they’d ever recover. I’m not sure I’d recover.

This is just deplorable! This is just deplorable! And it seems to me to be a part of the ongoing war by the Andrews government against children — in particular — in this state. Let kids be kids. A ten-year-old girl should not be exposed to this sort of material.

Finn went on to ask the chamber whether any of them would be “happy” or “relaxed” about their 10-year-old daughters coming home from school with such an assignment. For himself, Finn said, “My God, I wouldn’t be — I’d be horrified.” He added, “Indeed, we should all be horrified.”

Finn then called on the minister for education, Labor MP James Merlino, to “conduct an urgent investigation” into this assignment and the curriculum from which it came and to “remove this material to ensure that no other child is put in the situation that this poor ten-year-old little girl has been put into at this point.”

Finn is correct in his assessment and in his demand. Because the corollary to that assignment is the salient fact that before that young girl or any of her classmates even could go home and ask their dads those questions, they would have already been introduced — in class — to the idea of erections and ejaculation.

And while every decent person immediately sees what is wrong with that, the sexual groomers in public education are so blinded by their own perversion and their consciences are so seared that to them, this is “just” a normal “part of the curriculum.”

Just look at the problem of sexualizing materials in American public-school curricula. Take, for instance, the controversial (or, more accurately non-controversial) action on the part of Florida to simply prohibit “classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity” for “kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

If Americans do not want little girls coming home to ask their dads about their erections and ejaculation, then Americans had better get ahead of that curve. And while pushing for measures such as what Florida is doing is good and well, the real solution is to take from the public school groomers the one thing they cannot do without and cannot replace: your children. Homeschool or place your kids in an academy that shares your values. Starve the public-school systems to death. The alternative is to give your children to the groomers.

Yale Law School Recruits and Trains Social Justice Warriors

Mission: wage lawfare to effect change across every sector of society.

If practitioners of any profession would be expected to understand and honor the notion of Free Speech, it would be lawyers.  In years past this would be a reasonable conclusion.  However, in so many ways traditional American values have been turned upside down and inside out!

Consider that on March 17, 2022, Fox News reported, Liberal Yale Law students derail a bipartisan 'free speech' event in a chaotic protest; police were called to the scene.

The report began with the following:

A bipartisan panel on civil liberties at Yale Law School was disrupted last week when more than 100 law students tried to drown out and intimidate the speakers, who eventually needed police to escort them out of the building, according to reports.

The school’s Federalist Society hosted the March 10 panel, which featured Monica Miller, of the progressive American Humanist Association, and Kristen Waggoner, of the conservative Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). About 120 student protesters showed up with signs attacking the ADF to shout down the speakers, with one reportedly recorded on audio telling a member of the conservative group that she would "literally fight you, b——."

"It was disturbing to witness law students whipped into a mindless frenzy. I did not feel it was safe to get out of the room without security," Waggoner told the Washington Free Beacon.

The Fox News report also included this important observation by Waggoner:

Waggoner later tweeted: "My hot take: Good lawyers win with civility & persuasion, not physical intimidation and threats of violence. We aren’t afraid to engage with people and ideas we disagree with. Apparently, many of the students missed this lesson."

It is beyond disturbing that law students at one of America’s most prestigious and influential law schools would witness the sort of madness that occurred at the event described in the Fox News report.

Many of those Yale law students will not only go on to successful careers as attorneys but become judges, leaders in major corporations, and law professors.

About a dozen years ago I was invited by the Federalist Society at Yale Law School to participate in a debate about Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

The debate was spirited and fair and all who attended were courteous and respectful.  But that was then.

Open debate is at the heart of a free society and is enshrined in the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Indeed, you can think of debate as an example of intellectual capitalism.  Competing concepts are provided to the audience who then decide which concept they are willing to “buy.”

On a personal note, I have a degree in Communications Arts and Sciences and had planned to teach speech and debate at the college level when I had the opportunity to make a career change and became a federal agent.

You never understand your side of an argument more than when you have to defend it against an opponent- in fact, one of my debate coaches would have us prepare to argue both sides of a debate and then not tell us which side we would take until 30 minutes before the debate!

The Radical Left, however, knows that they cannot win a fair debate so they now seek to shut down debate as they sought to do in that debate at Yale Law School in February.

Laws can be thought of as the rulebook by which society functions.  Laws control human conduct and behavior and regulate the way that corporations function.

Without laws or law enforcement anarchy follows.  However, overbearing laws and law enforcement can create a dictatorship that strips the citizens of their freedoms.

It is clear that those who write the laws, along with those practicing law and those who enforce our laws are at the foundation of our society and government.

For decades radicals and globalists have sought to wrest control over our government to gain control over America and Americans and strip our nation of its sovereignty.

In point of fact, Radical Democrats Have Become 'Adversaries of Freedom'.

When Obama was elected President, in his victory speech Obama declared, “Change has come to America!’

It would appear that today, Lawfare is being waged against America and Americans.

Lawfare has been defined as:

Legal action undertaken as part of a hostile campaign against a country or group.

We will explore how this is being implemented shortly, but first, consider that in the wake of the death of George Floyd riots broke out across the United States in which innocent people were killed and buildings were reduced to rubble and ashes in so-called “peaceful demonstrations” as reported on by supposed “news organizations.” These supposed news organizations were thinly veiled propaganda machines that could have been part of Orwell’s “Ministry of Truth” straight out of the pages of his novel, 1984.

The Radical Left began demanding “Criminal Justice Reform” and the defunding of police.”

Anarchistic enclaves sprung up in cities such as Seattle, Washington.  In short order Americans rejected this lunacy, so the Left distanced themselves from the Defund Police movement, but their goals did not change.

Radical Leftists have simply taken a different approach to achieve the same anarchistic goals.

“Bail Reform” was implemented in many cities controlled by the Leftists under the guise that this would only involve those charged with non-violent crimes.  It quickly became apparent, however, that many violent thugs were released without bail and went on to commit more violent crimes that injured or killed more innocent victims including children.

New York City, which had been the safest big city in the United States, quickly descended into violence and chaos as the newly-elected Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, implemented new bail policies and established prosecutorial discretion policies that encouraged not deterred violent crimes.

Effective law enforcement is a system with a number of important elements.  When dedicated laws enforcement officers make arrests and conduct criminal investigations, they must be supported by dedicated prosecutors who are on the same page, seeking the effective prosecution of criminals.

Today, unfortunately, in many jurisdictions, prosecutors who are supposed to work in close coordination with law enforcement officers are now acting as though they are criminal defense attorneys.

George Gascon, the infamous Los Angeles District Attorney became the veritable “poster child” of such prosecutors who sought to protect criminals and not their victims.

It has become clear that the vast majority of Americans reject the lunacy of defunding the police and many politicians who had advocated for this policy are now denying that they support this madness.  However, their goals of creating anarchy, likely in order to subsequently fill the void created by anarchy with their notion of control over government and hence society.

Now we come to the issue of “Lawfare” I raised earlier in my commentary.

A news release that was issued by Yale Law School on February 21, 2022, announced:  Yale Law School Announces Tuition-Free Scholarships for Highest Need Students.

The idea of providing free college education for American students is a concept I personally approve of.  Children growing up in poverty are not likely to be able to afford tuition for college or to attend graduate schools and therefore scholarships for such students of appropriate academic standing could be a way to help combat endemic poverty.

Yale Law School is not, however being altruistic in this case- it is clear that their actual goal is to enlist an army of lawyers who will practice Lawfare.

Consider this final paragraph in that Yale news release:

At Yale Law School, we prepare lawyers and leaders to face the most critical challenges of the future and effect change across every sector of society,” said Gerken. We are committed to ensuring every student can fully immerse themselves in our vibrant intellectual experience and has the tools and resources they need to leave their mark on the world. The Hurst Horizon Scholarship Program cements our commitment to access and equity for all.”

The motivation is clear- Yale Law School is not as benevolent it may appear to be.  Yale Law School is clearly determined to create an army of lawyers who are literally indebted to Yale who will engage in “Lawfare”

In his famous Iron Curtain Speech Winston Churchill delivered on March 5, 1946, at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri  Churchill spoke of:

...communist fifth columns that were operating throughout western and southern Europe. Drawing parallels with the disastrous appeasement of Hitler prior to World War II, Churchill advised that in dealing with the Soviets there was nothing which they admire so much as strength, and there is nothing for which they have less respect than for military weakness.”

That concern voiced by Churchill about communist fifth columns” (and other adversaries of freedom), should also have included the United States.

Pittsburgh: Catholic university hosts speaker who calls on white people to ‘crucify their whiteness’

Miguel de la Torre argues that “hope” is a “white concept,” which would come as a surprise to St. Paul. In typical fashion, Sean McFarland, Carlow University Public Relations & Communications Manager, defends the university’s featuring of de la Torre’s message of fashionable racial hatred, resentment, and rage by claiming that the university exposes students to a wide variety of perspectives in order to encourage critical thinking. Is that so? All right: when was the last time the university hosted a foe of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women? Why, never, because that would be “Islamophobic”? That’s what I thought. So what’s that you were saying about free thought and free expression, McFarland?

Universities today are indoctrination camps for the hard Left. Flee them.

“Catholic university speaker: ‘crucify whiteness,’ embrace ‘hopelessness,’ ‘ethically lie,’” by Katelynn Richardson, College Fix, April 1, 2022:

Carlow University recently hosted an event on “Rejecting White Christianity” that featured a speaker who argued white people should “crucify their whiteness,” called for the embrace of “hopelessness,” and urged people to “ethically lie” to make right for past wrongs….

The March 3 event was sponsored by Carlow’s Atkins Center for Ethics and featured Miguel De La Torre, professor of social ethics and Latinx studies at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado.

De La Torre began his presentation by lambasting evangelicals who voted for Donald Trump, according to a video of the speech.

“When eight out of ten white evangelicals voted for a person who is completely against everything Christianity stands for, I don’t know what Christianity they are practicing,” he said. “But I want nothing to do with that Christianity.”

He then distinguished “white theology and ethics” from “Latinx ethics” and noted that the term white does not refer to skin pigmentation but is an “ontological concept.”

“Those of us who are colored, some of us can also be white. But the good news is there is salvation,” he said. Later, he explained that this salvation means “we [who are colored] have to crucify our colonized minds, and for our white brothers and sisters, they need to crucify their whiteness.”

Torre’s speech focused on the idea of “hope,” which he rejected and characterized as a white concept.

“We embrace Euro-centric concepts like hope because it helps to pacify the oppressed during their oppression,” he said. “It leads to spiritual liberation, and ignores physical liberation.”…

Action for De La Torre means using what he called a “trickster ethic” to transform society.

The ethic covers things like “how to ethically lie so we can discover what is true, how to ethically steal so we can feed those who are hungry…[and] how to disrupt the structures that have trained us to oppress ourselves and to take upon our body our own discipline,” he said.

“This empire was built on stolen resources and cheap labor,” De La Torre said. “So hospitality is really the wrong word. What we need is restitution…By seeing this dilemma through the eyes of the margin, we come to a very different understanding of what the Christian response should be.”…

Sean McFarland, Carlow University Public Relations & Communications Manager, told The College Fix that “viewpoints of lecturers should not be taken as either an endorsement or opposition of how the University feels about a particular issue.”

“Rather, the intent of our university’s liberal arts tradition is to expose students to a variety of worldly perspectives and encourage them to think critically and individually on how they feel about the topic(s) in question,” McFarland said.

“Carlow University is proud of our Catholic heritage and mercy mission, which welcomes all. As such, the University welcomes respectful discourse and multiple perspectives, including being open to hosting speakers like Dr. De La Torre whose topic may engender thoughtful reflection and dialogue.”

MassResistance helps Hawaii parents stop terrible anti-family bills in State Legislature

Bills that would (1) push extreme LGBT agenda in schools and (2) criminally punish parents who complain

Plus a bizarre pro-LGBT school resolution dies in the Hawaii House of Representatives

The right strategies from MassResistance made the difference, says local leader!

April 4, 2022
ALT TEXT
There were continuous protests by parents in downtown Honolulu near the State Capitol.

Two of the most radical bills we’ve ever seen were introduced in the Hawaii legislature this past January. Quickly gaining momentum, both quietly passed in the House in early March. They needed to be stopped in the State Senate!

  • Bill HB 1697 would have required public schools to teach children that homosexuality, transgenderism, etc., are normal and positive behaviors. Schools must “destigmatize” and include “positive representations” of “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, other sexual orientation and gender identities.”

It would also have required the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE) to train teachers how to instruct children on LGBT topics.

  • Bill HB 2125 would have criminalized parents who complain to teachers or their School Board. Its intent was to silence parents who object to Critical Race Theory, graphic LGBT topics, Covid mask requirements for children, etc. It would have created a new criminal offense: “Harassment of an education worker” with punishments of fines and jail time.

It would have dovetailed with existing statutes to include “harassing or insulting electronic communications.” Thus, sending “insulting” emails to your School Board member (or posting criticisms on social media) could get a parent in legal trouble.

These bills were heavily pushed by the Hawaii Department of Education, other leftist government agencies, special interest groups, various radical teachers, and left-wing activists.

Outrage across the state – parents organize

The outrage against these bills across the state was fierce. Two parents, Art and Peggy, formed a fast-growing statewide group, Fathers and Mothers for Children, to mobilize people against these two bills.

On March 7, 2022, the group held a rally against HB 1697 at the Hawaii State Capitol in Honolulu. Over 100 people attended. It was a rousing event and included speeches by prominent pro-family leaders and a State Representative.

A week later, on March 14, the group organized a march through the streets of Honolulu to the State Capitol. Hundreds of people participated. When they reached the Capitol, there was another rally with several local speakers.

MassResistance gets involved

MassResistance is no stranger to Hawaii. Back in 2009we helped stop a “civil unions” bill in the Hawaii Senate. (Even the Boston “gay” newspaper complained about MassResistance’s involvement there!)

In 2013, MassResistance worked with Hawaii activists in a huge battle to attempt to stop “gay marriage” from being imposed by the Legislature.

We are still in touch with many of the activists we worked with back then. So on March 10, 2022, one of them – Susan – contacted us for some strategic help.

After studying the situation, including the fact that both bills were now in the State Senate, we advised Susan that the group should immediately: (1) get politicians who are currently running for office to show up and publicly support the parents; and (2) target the districts of the Senators who are pushing the bad bills.

They took our advice. Here’s what Susan told us on March 25:

We used those two suggestions. We got politicians involved and I think that is what helped get the word out to a larger group. Candidates running for office did come and they participated in our events. We had a candidate for Governor and a very popular candidate for Lt. Governor show up and both spoke. And we singled out three districts that we targeted for rallies and sign-waving.

Victory: Both bills were stopped in the Senate!

And everyone’s hard work paid off! On March 24, both bills failed to move forward in the Senate and are now dead. It happened very quietly. The parents had to call the Capitol to get the official word. “I imagine that there will be efforts to resurrect these bills next year but we'll be watching,” Susan told us.

A bizarre House resolution also dies

There was also a bizarre resolution in the House of Representatives that almost passed. It had no legal implications, but it still promoted a very dangerous policy.

HCR 138 stated that Hawaii’s “educational materials and practices do not reflect the range of gender expressions and sexual identities that exist” and that “teachers do not understand diverse gender and sexual orientations.”

Therefore, to fix this “problem” the resolution requested that the Hawaii Department of Education create a “student-led working group” to find ways to push LGBT subjects more directly in Hawaii’s schools. That would include “peer to peer sexual health” – which usually means homosexuals grooming other children.

Since the House had earlier passed the two anti-family bills, our side was not confident we could stop this, either. But it seems that the resolution got tripped up by the growing parental outrage. Though it had already passed one House committee, on April 1 it quietly died in another House committee.

Final thoughts

A big contribution that MassResistance makes around the country is to help parents with an aggressive and effective strategy to achieve their goals. Most parents have a lot of great energy for fighting the Left’s horrible attacks on their children, but little experience in the right way to go about it. The Left usually comes in with a wealth of experience and tactics. We help to bridge that gap!

florida governor DeSantis Suggests Ending Disney’s Special Self-Governing Status

Back in 1967 when Disney World was just a gleam in Mickey’s eye and states around the country were vying for Walt Disney’s approval to build his second theme park, the Florida legislature passed the Reedy Creek Improvement Act, which gave the Walt Disney Company a special carve-out, making it a self-governing enclave.

The Act gave Disney “the ability, the power to build a nuclear power plant, an airport manufacturer, distill and distribute alcoholic beverages and lots of other things,” said Dr. Richard Foglesong, author of Married to the Mouse in an interview with a Florida TV station last year.

Disney has since become an extraordinarily powerful media conglomerate and is now using that power to advance an agenda at odds with the beliefs and values of a large percentage of its customer base. So many Florida Republicans, sick and tired of Disney’s nauseating virtue signaling, want to strip Disney of its special status, making the company subject to reasonable oversight from Orange County.

Ron DeSantis, Florida’s governor and potential GOP candidate for president in 2024 hasn’t yet given the plan his full endorsement, but he’s sending a clear message to Disney to stick to making kids smile and entertaining families—and stay the hell out of politics.

Fox News:

DeSantis continued, “I think what has happened is there’s a lot of these special privileges that are not justifiable, but because Disney had held so much sway, they were able to sustain a lot of special treatment over the years.”

DeSantis said that Disney has “lost a lot of the pull that they used to have” over the company’s reaction to the parental rights law and said he thinks that’s a “good thing for our state because the state should be governed by the best interest of the people.”

“I would say any special privileges that are in law I would like to get rid of generally,” DeSantis added. “I think in this particular case with Disney, I just don’t think you have very many people in the legislature anymore who are going to be able to defend a lot of what has been done over many years to really have them almost govern themselves in some of these things. That was probably never appropriate to start, but is certainly not appropriate now at this point.”

There’s a reason that DeSantis is tiptoeing around the issue of Disney self-governance: The Walt Disney Company is the largest GOP donor in the state of Florida. For that reason and others, the author of Married to the Mouse thinks the threat by Republicans to revoke Disney’s self-governing status is political “March Madness.”

ClickOrlando:

“If you ask me whether it’s politically possible to take these privileges away from the Disney company, I don’t think so,” Foglesong said. “I think that cooler minds will prevail and that this is really a shot across the bow to try to bring the Disney company, Mickey Mouse if you will, into line with Governor DeSantis. I thought it was more of March Madness of the political kind, the thought that the Republican Party, which used to be the party of business, would want to take on of their biggest donors.”

Even the threat of revoking their self-governing status has to be giving Walt Disney Company board members a case of the willies. But at least the company has been put on notice that there are limits to DeSantis’s patience with their woke advocacy, and if they’re not careful, Disney customers and fans are going to be taking their business elsewhere.

DeSantis Stands Firm on Parental Rights Law, Even as White House Threatens to "Monitor" Law's Implementation

DeSantis Stands Firm on Parental Rights Law, Even as White House Threatens to “Monitor” Law’s Implementation

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

As Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continues to stand firm on the Sunshine State’s Parental Rights in Education bill that he recently signed into law, the Biden administration has announced it will “monitor” how Florida implements the new law.

The law — which mainstream media and Democrats pejoratively refer to as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill — prohibits “classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity” for “kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

In Tuesday’s daily White House press briefing, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield made a surprise appearance to announce that “The Department of Education … will monitor this law upon implementation to evaluate whether it violates federal civil rights law.”

In her time at the press briefing, Bedingfield referred to a statement by President Biden, saying, “The president also put out a statement [Monday] about the tragic impact of this kind of law on an incredibly vulnerable population.” She added, “And he said that by signing this bill, the governor has chosen to target some of Florida’s most vulnerable students and families, all while under the guise of parents’ rights.”

One is left to wonder about the “incredibly vulnerable population” of “transgender” kindergartners who are suffering under the “tragic impact” of a law that simply prohibits them from being sexualized in the classroom.

As Townhall pointed out, “Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has said the same”:

And Biden is doubling down. In a brief video message commemorating Transgender Day of Visibility Thursday, Biden described bills such as Florida’s as “hateful” and said his administration is “standing up” for transgender Americans threatened by them. He said:

The onslaught of anti-transgender state laws attacking you and your families is simply wrong. This administration is standing up for you against all these hateful bills. And we’re committed to advancing transgender equality in the classroom, on the playing field, at work, in our military and our housing and health care systems.

He said the policy of “inclusion” of “trans” rights — a euphemism in this case for the sexualization of young children — will be “Everywhere. Simply everywhere.”

However, even with the White House implicitly threatening to bring the full weight of the Department of Education down on Florida — and both Biden and Cardona spouting slanders that DeSantis is “targeting” vulnerable children — the Florida governor is not backing down. In a statement he released, DeSantis said:

Parents’ rights have been increasingly under assault around the nation, but in Florida we stand up for the rights of parents and the fundamental role they play in the education of their children. Parents have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school, and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old.

One has to ask since the Parental Rights in Education law actually only prohibits “classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity” for “kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards” — an idea that Americans overwhelmingly support — why is the establishment so hell-bent on pushing what this law prohibits?

In a previous article, this writer quoted DeSantis as addressing that question:

While some critics have not read the bill and are merely regurgitating talking points given by others, DeSantis said that “leftist politicians, corporate media outlets, some of these activist groups” are different, because “they actually have read the bill” and are deliberately dishonest about what is in it, because they “are opposed to providing protections for parents and enforcing parents rights.”

In that same article, DeSantis addressed Disney’s attacks on the law, saying Hollywood types “who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein as exemplars” are coming out against a common-sense measure to protect children, and adding, “if those are the types of people opposing us on parents rights, I wear that like a badge of honor.”

So, Hollywood, mainstream media, and the White House are all worked up in a lather to oppose a law that simply protects children from being sexualized in the classroom. And none of them minds stooping to new lows of dishonesty and smear tactics to do it. That should just about explain who is who in this battle in the culture war.

Idaho MassResistance forces School Board to change guidance counselor policy after “trans” incident

Idaho MassResistance forces local School Board to change guidance counselor policy - after outrageous “transgender” issue with 11-year-old.

Idaho legislator works with MassResistance to craft statewide legislation.

Despite opposition from local “transgender” activists and state school counselors group – who are against parents “interfering”!

March 30, 2022
ALT TEXT
Within days of our report on the outrageous incident, the problem was brought up at the local School Board meeting.

It’s one of the most horrific things that’s been happening in elementary and middle schools. A child will come to a pro-LGBT school guidance counselor with some social or emotional issue. The counselor will persuade the child that the real problem is that he or she is “gay” or “transgender.” But the parents must not be informed about their conversations, the child is told.

By the time the parents find out, an enormous amount of psychological damage has been done to the child. We’ve seen this scenario over and over. MassResistance is dedicated to stopping this.

In November 2020, a family in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho contacted MassResistance describing how their 11-year-old girl had decided she’s a “transsexual” after talking with her elementary school counselor. When the family finally heard about this, the girl said that her school counselor and elementary school teacher both completely supported “her decision.” The girl insisted that it’s “who she is” and that the school people both told her, "I will accept you for who you are."

The school district had not reported any of this to the parents as it was developing. Instead of being directed to her family, the girl was given the phone numbers of local LGBT support groups.

Big uproar across the state

After our report, the incident caused considerable uproar in the Coeur d’Alene area and throughout the state.

National conservative media, including The Daily Citizen and The Federalist, ran stories on it.

The local liberal newspaper attempted to “correct” MassResistance’s reporting with statements from the elementary school, an LGBT group, and a pro-LGBT “human rights” group. They claimed that the counselor was actually helping the 11-year-old. The fringe LGBT movement also weighed in, bashing MassResistance. Our reporting apparently struck a nerve!

Two months after the incident, on January 23, 2021, the Idaho LGBT movement organized an “LGBTQ+ Youth Rally” at a local park to show support for the elementary school counselor who had helped the 11-year-old girl with her “transition.” According to the news report, the rally was also meant to counter the MassResistance report and the resulting “homophobia” in the community. Clearly, a big reason was to intimidate anyone who might speak out.

Parents fight back

But among regular people, there was growing outrage over such clear abuse of young children – and a strong belief that something must be done. Idaho MassResistance began mobilizing local parents and others who refused to be intimidated by the LGBT tactics.

Parents started holding protests outside the school district’s main office in Coeur d’Alene. They began attending the local School Board meetings in larger numbers. The School Board basically reflected the conservative leanings of the area, and as a group agreed that some change needed to be made. The parents’ show of force gave them the courage to move forward in the face of the LGBT movement, the unions, and the leftist education lobby.

Many parents remember when school counselors mainly provided academic counseling and helped with post-secondary and career goals. But in recent years they have taken on mental health and psychological issues, largely in collusion with the LGBT movement and other special-interest groups. (See, for example, this policy statement from the American School Counselor Association.) This is what the Idaho MassResistance parents are up against.

A new school counselor policy is passed

At the January 4, 2021, meeting of the Coeur d'Alene School Board - less than two weeks after our MassResistance report - the Board members reacted to the flood of emails they had received and agreed that they needed to explore what to do about the situation.

In March 2021, the School Board initiated an effort to change the district policy regarding school counselors. The Idaho MassResistance parents continued to push for strong protections, against the hesitations of some board members.

The new policy was drafted by a committee which included a School Committee member, two parents (not part of our group), an administrator, and three school counselors.

In October 2021, the new proposed policy language was released to the public for consideration. The draft still contained troubling language. Idaho MassResistance presented these critiques to the School Board members:

  1. The policy says that the counselor’s role is to “balance” the student’s privacy rights with the parents’ rights, which the counselor decides upon. But there should be no “balance.” The student is a minor. The parents must be told about everything. It's wrong to allow this secretive relationship to emerge and continue with school counselors. The result would be no trust between parents and the school.
  2. “School Counselors connect students and families to outside resources and agencies.” That has traditionally translated into sending kids to LGBT groups and abortion clinics. If anything, the counselors should only suggest these outside groups to the parents and let them decide.

Nevertheless, in February 2022, the school board formally approved the new policy. It’s not everything that we wanted. But it definitely is a shot across the bow – a strong warning to the school counselors in that city – to absolutely stop what they’ve been doing to children. Parents feel that MassResistance has helped them achieve a victory.

The Idaho School Boards Association jumps into the fight

When the Coeur d’Alene School Board released its proposed policy, the education establishment apparently got the message that they needed to quash this “anti-counselor” movement before it got any more momentum.

Two months later, on December 2, 2021, the Idaho School Boards Association (ISBA) voted by an overwhelming 7885-21 to pass a strongly worded resolution supporting school counselors.

The resolution directs the ISBA lobbyists:

“to work with the legislature to amend existing statute to allow school districts more flexibility in addressing the mental, social, and emotional needs of students …”

In other words, they want to write new state laws to keep parents from interfering with any secret LGBT counseling of children.

So far, the ISBA hasn’t moved forward by drafting a bill. But the group’s lobbying did impact what was to happen next in the legislature.

The State Legislature also gets involved

The outrage over the Coeur d’Alene issue even reached the State Legislature. In mid-February, an Idaho State Representative asked MassResistance for help in drafting a bill to protect children from this abuse. We submitted the following, which she moved forward with:

School counseling educational services provided by a school to a student addressing mental or behavioral health, including short-term individual or short-term small group school counseling services, are subject to parental disclosure and informed consent.

Parental notification shall take place once a school counselor has recognized mental health warning signs; informed consent shall be obtained prior to any subsequent school counseling services for the purpose of addressing those mental health warning signs. A school counselor may provide parents with contact information for available community resources from a list of licensed, professional mental health providers in the area, which providers may request to be included on the list and shall not be excluded for the reason that the provider is a religious or faith-based organization.

But as soon as word got out about this new bill, the ISBA and state school counselors association heatedly approached the House leadership. They made absurd and insulting claims that if parents are told about their childrens’ homosexual or transgender “decisions,” the children will commit suicide. Floating this myth is unfortunately a common tactic used by the LGBT movement, though it goes against all responsible psychological understanding and practice. But the legislative leaders fell for it and immediately killed the proposed bill.

Since the legislative session was winding down, we will wait until next year and refile then. We’re not stopping.

Final thoughts

In the beginning, nobody believed that the Coeur d’Alene School Board would actually change anything. Even though it’s a conservative area, the Board members weren’t looking to make any waves on this hot-button issue. It was a direct result of the Idaho MassResistance parents being tireless and simply not giving up. At a certain point, the School Board basically gave in and acted.

Some places where this is happening will be harder to change than others. But no matter how difficult, that’s what needs to be done everywhere in America.

Critical race theorist Derrick Bell on racism

A judge who does not believe in the Constitution, but believes in critical race theory, is unfit.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

The existence of a speech by Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, praising Derrick Bell, the godfather of critical race theory, and citing his book, “Faces At the Bottom of a Well”, as an influence has been widely reported. Conservatives have covered Bell’s racist views, his praise for Farrakhan, his antisemitism, and attacks on America. Much of this was already hashed out during the exposure of the relationship between Barack Obama and Derrick Bell.

But it’s important to specifically focus on Jackson’s interest in “Faces At the Bottom of the Well.”

In her speech, Jackson mentions that Bell, whom along with his wife she praises throughout her speech, “wrote a book in the early 1990s about the persistence of racism in American life”.

The subtitle of the book, which few people have mentioned, is, “The Permanence Of Racism”.

Persistence and permanence are not the same things. But this is another example of Jackson subtly distorting Bell and his book in order to make their extremism seem more moderate.

Jackson goes on to say, “My parents had this book on their coffee table for many years, and I remember staring at the image on the cover when I was growing up; I found it difficult to reconcile the image of the person, who seemed to be smiling, with the depressing message that the title and subtitle conveyed. I thought about this book cover again for the first time in forty years when I started preparing for this speech.” That would have made her ten years old.

As others have pointed out, “Faces At the Bottom of the Well” was published when Jackson was in her early twenties during Bell’s tantrum against Harvard University. It’s unlikely that Biden’s Supreme Court nominee grew up with the hateful text, but it’s entirely plausible that she was influenced by the book which came out when she was at Harvard and then Harvard Law.

Since Bell began his racial strike against Harvard Law before she had completed her undergraduate degree, it’s unlikely that she had taken any of his classes, but the former member of the faculty was clearly an influence on her. Perhaps Jackson’s memory is faulty or she’s deliberately backdating the book’s influence on her childhood to make it seem more innocent. Surely no one could blame a ten-year-old for being attracted to a racialist text.

“Faces At the Bottom of the Well” is the sort of racist book that could conceivably appeal to a bright ten-year-old. Bell, despite his position, was never much of a legal or constitutional scholar, and Faces, like the preceding “And We Are Not Saved”, conveys its message that the constitution is just a facade for a white racist agenda through science fiction short stories.

Where “And We Are Not Saved” transports the protagonist back to the Constitutional Convention to denounce the Constitution, “Faces At the Bottom of the Well” indulges in more hyperbolic science fiction scenarios including the rise of a new continent of Afroatlantis and space aliens offering Americans profits in exchange for selling black people into space slavery.

While the scenarios are absurd, they’re there to illustrate Bell’s argument that the Constitution is nothing more than what benefits white people at any given time. This is the same argument that the godfather of critical race theory had repeatedly made throughout his career, contending, for example, that the ban on segregation was not a rejection of racism, only a ploy by white people to defeat the Soviet Union and Communism by showing that they weren’t racist.

(Likewise, Faces, along with a defense of Farrakhan and condemnation of Jews for opposing black antisemitism, portrays Jews as protesting against the plan to sell black people into slavery only because in the absence of blacks, “Jews could become the scapegoats”.)

Such racial conspiracy theories, ubiquitous in the work and thought of black nationalists and supremacists, who always begin and end with the premise of white evil, pervade Bell’s work.

“Faces At the Bottom of the Well” was a way to popularize and communicate this central idea at a level that even a child or a not particularly bright Harvard student, already nursing resentments, would be able to understand by depicting scenarios in which the white society and white people would cheerfully revamp the Constitution to bring back black slavery.

Thus near the end of the “Space Traders” story, Bell has the Supreme Court unanimously rule that, “if inducted in accordance with a constitutionally approved conscription provision, blacks would have no issues of individual rights for review” and tells us that, “By 70 percent to 30 percent, American citizens voted to ratify the constitutional amendment that provided a legal basis for acceptance of the Space Traders’ offer”. Behind the SciFi is the message that the majority of Americans, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution would allow black people to be enslaved again and that therefore black people should not rely on whites or the Constitution.

The Constitution, according to Bell, is merely the whim of a white agenda that serves its purposes. To the extent that the law has outlawed segregation and slavery, it did so only because it temporarily served white purposes and the moment that it would serve white purposes to enslave black people again, it would be done within the Constitution.

That is the message of “Faces At the Bottom of the Well”: the book that influenced Jackson.

Does Jackson believe that the Supreme Court would rule that black people could be sold into slavery? Like everything about her record, we know we can’t expect an honest answer.

And yet her speech, which touches not only on the racist rants of Bell and his wife but on the 1619 Project, introduces the idea that our founding documents are racially untrustworthy.

Praising the racial revisionist history of the 1619 Project, Jackson touts Nikole Hannah-Jones’ “provocative thesis that the America that was born in 1776 was not the perfect union that it purported to be” and that only black civil rights activism made America “the free nation that the Framers initially touted.”

Much like the 1619 Project, this description is rife with historical anachronisms and fundamental inaccuracies that is even less befitting a Supreme Court justice than a New York Times hack, but also implicitly echoes the critical race theory understanding that the civil rights struggle was not about upholding the Constitution, but overcoming it, that America’s founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were racist and remain the enemy.

In the process of her lecture, Jackson invokes critical race theory, the pernicious concept of “white privilege”, and intersectionality.

The radicalism oozes around the edges of Ketanji Brown Jackson’s talk.

The Supreme Court nominee praises Gloria Richardson who, in Jackson’s words, “took part in several protests that ended in violent clashes with white residents” and “indirectly challenged SNCC’s non-violent ideology.” She quotes Richardson as saying, “[w]hen we were attacked at demonstrations, [we women] were the ones throwing stones back at the whites.”

Gloria Richardson was a wealthy leftist organizer with political connections during the Cambridge Riots who had contemptuously dismissed Martin Luther King and asserted, “We weren’t going to stop until we got it, and if violence occurred, then we would have to accept that.”

Black nationalists hail her because she’s seen as breaking the embargo on local nonviolence in protests. And Richardson had emphasized that to the extent to which she used nonviolence was as a “tactical device”. To Jackson, most of the law seems to likewise be a tactical device.

And that’s the problem.

Absorbing the paranoid racism of the godfather of critical race theory during her formative years at Harvard makes for a bad judge and a worse justice. Bell’s approach to the Constitution, like that of black nationalists, was that it was a trick to lure black people into lowering their guard.

White people, he believed, could never be trusted and all that mattered was seizing power.

Any laws or documents made by white people would only serve them. Only black people could secure the rights of black people. Like the Nazis, the ultimate truths were race and power.

Everything else was a distraction.

If that is Ketanji Brown Jackson’s worldview, she cannot be expected to come out and say it. But the highest court in the land is the last place for racial paranoia and nationalism. The Supreme  Court is charged with upholding the Constitution. A judge who does not believe in the Constitution, but believes in critical race theory, the 1619 Project, and white privilege is manifestly unfit to decide the fate of a nation and its hundreds of millions of people.

Derrick Bell and his hateful ideology believed that white racism was the only abiding truth.

There’s no room for that kind of thinking on the Supreme Court.

The annual Free to Be Me Assembly is one of GDS’s cornerstone assemblies and celebrates all kinds of families, self-determination, LGBTQ+ pride, inclusion, and comprehensive belonging. The virtual assembly this year, led as always by the 4th grade, facilitated the intentional inclusion of the performing and visual arts, centered and uplifted LGBTQ+ voices, and highlighted student voices. The 4th-grade students did nearly all of the talking—one kindergartener remarked, “Wow, they are doing so great. They sound like parents!”

If the “woke” ever woke up, they might realize that their offensive, hateful anti-white propaganda would never be tolerated if white racism were really as severe and endemic as they claim.

The Woke Brigade’s malarkey was on full display at a Home Depot outlet in Calgary, Alberta, in a “leaked training pamphlet”:

The flyer that was reportedly posted in a break room at a Calgary, Alberta, Home Depot showed the home improvement giant’s logo and was titled, “Leading Practices: Unpacking Privilege.” It asks employees to literally “check” their “privilege,” whether it be “white privilege,” class privilege,” “Christian privilege,” “cisgender privilege,” “able-bodied privilege,” or “heterosexual privilege.”

The flyer:

Whoever was ultimately responsible for this should realize that advocating for human rights does not entail bashing any other group. Battling discrimination and racism is one thing. To zero in on a target unjustifiably is another. Also, blacks are still held as slaves by Arab Muslims in Algeria, Mauritania, Sudan and Libya. Many Arabs are anti-black. Afghans are at the back of the bus in Iran. China is openly racist against blacks and overweight people. The largest “Black nationalist organization in the US,” the Nation of Islam, spreads virulent hatred against Jews, whites and LGBTQ groups. Muslim rape gangs also view white girls as “worthless” and “trash.”

What do the woke think? That discrimination and racism are exclusively a white problem? Or that racism from other groups is parked at the border in an era of multiculturalism and open-door immigration?

Shame on Home Depot in Calgary, which has chosen the woke path of exclusivity rather than inclusivity in its divisive and discriminatory practices. It is also insulting to visible minorities, who are perpetually deemed to be helpless victims who are in need of handouts and patronizing sympathy from the woke.

Aburrahman Muhammad, an imam who was once with the International Institute of Islamic Thought but had the good sense to leave, observed:

This sense of victimization has now reached a point – especially given the consistent rhetoric of groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations – that many rank-and-file Muslims now genuinely believe that they are a persecuted and oppressed group.

This applies also to many blacks in America, Canada, and elsewhere. It isn’t only whites who were oppressors.

Hate against any and every group as such as wrong. That includes the perpetual targeting of whites for past wrongs, which is often done by those who at the same time exonerate non-whites for current and ongoing human rights abuses. Ironically, it is the white woke working alongside supremacist groups such as Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations and the Communist-rooted Black Lives Matter, who perpetuate anti-white “privilege.” It’s a method of manipulating societal and individual weakness to stir up race wars, in pursuit of the goal of destroying Western democracies from within and supplanting them with Marxist regimes. The average Leftist believes these claims. Many BLM leaders have also lined their pockets, playing the victimhood card and betraying their own people.

America had a black president. That would have been unthinkable just a few decades before he was elected. Too many Western countries have evolved to the point of (as they say in economic terms) diminishing returns.

Fighting discrimination and advocating for equal rights and human rights is admirable, but the likes of Home Depot and the woke brigade, who incessantly parade their superiority (“privilege,” they call it) while spreading the propaganda of victimhood groups are the real racists.

Note:

Martin Luther King Jr. was commonly attacked by his critics as being a “mouthpiece for the white man,” a criticism that came from leftists.

Disney Continues to Placate Loud LGBTQ Groups, Employees

Disney Continues to Placate Loud LGBTQ Groups, Employees

The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) continues to cater to its vocal LGBTQ employees at the risk of ostracizing its less-progressive employees and family audiences, this time forming a task force on gay and transgender issues to develop a plan to be a “force for good” for those communities, according to the Washington Examiner.

The announcement is just the latest effort to win favor with LGBTQ employees angered by CEO Bob Chapek’s initial decision to stay silent on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, which prohibits teachers from discussing sexuality with children in grades K-3 and requires school boards to establish parental notification procedures about their rights to make “decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children.”

In typical left-wing fashion, liberals and mainstream media outlets attempted to misrepresent the legislation by dubbing it the “Don’t Say Gay bill.” But when confronted by the bill’s actual language, a large majority of voters support the bill’s intent, according to a poll by the Daily Wire, which found 69 percent of Republicans, 57 percent of Independents, and even 62 percent of Democrats supported the bill.

As noted by the Examiner, Disney faced criticism from the LGBTQ community earlier this month after Chapek defended the company’s silence on the bill.

“I want to be crystal clear: I and the entire leadership team unequivocally stand in support of our LGBTQ+ employees, their families, and their communities. And, we are committed to creating a more inclusive company — and world,” he said in the memo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “As we have seen time and again, corporate statements do very little to change outcomes or minds. Instead, they are often weaponized by one side or the other to further divide and inflame. Simply put, they can be counterproductive.”

But just days later, Chapek told shareholders that Disney opposed the bill “from the outset” and announced it would make $5 million in donations to groups advocating for gay and transgender rights and would halt all political donations in Florida.

In addition to the creation of the new task force, Disney has also announced that Chapek and his senior leaders will be leading a global listening tour to meet with the company’s employees and hear their concerns about Disney’s response to the highly popular Florida law.

“We know the moment requires urgency, and words are not enough,” Chapek told Disney employees at a virtual town hall. “So we are taking some actions right now.”

Meanwhile, employees at Disney who identify as more conservative and Christian have been pleading with Chapek and other top leaders to remain neutral and focus on creating family-friendly content rather than wading into this highly controversial debate. In an open letter to TWDC published in the American Conservative, employees also described an atmosphere at the company in which they feel targeted and marginalized:

As employees of the Walt Disney Company, we believe in the dignity of all people. This is why we do what we do. We write stories. We make costumes. We act in parades. We run cruises. We stream movies. We make magic. We do this because our work contributes to a fountain of wonder that inspires joy, awe, and delight in guests and audiences of all ages. We are proud employees of the Walt Disney Company. We love our jobs because we get to share the wonder of life and human experience with millions of people worldwide.

However, over the last few years, one group of cast members has become invisible within the company. The Walt Disney Company has come to be an increasingly uncomfortable place to work for those of us whose political and religious views are not explicitly progressive. We watch quietly as our beliefs come under attack from our own employer, and we frequently see those who share our opinions condemned as villains by our own leadership.

The company’s evolving response to the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” legislation in Florida has left many of us wondering what place we have in a company actively promoting a political agenda so far removed from our own. TWDC leadership frequently communicates its commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where cast members feel comfortable sharing their perspectives and being their authentic selves at work. That is not our workplace experience.

The letter continues at length to describe how poorly the company treats less-progressive employees.

It also goes on to encourage Chapek to return to his original neutral stance on Florida’s legislation:

Disney is far more important and impactful to the world by avoiding politics than it will ever be by embracing a political agenda. By focusing on entertainment that inspires us with stories of universal appeal, we are doing good in the world.

Disney shouldn’t be a vehicle for one demographic’s political activism. It’s so much bigger and more important than that. More than ever, the world needs things that we can unite around. That’s the most valuable role The Walt Disney Company could play in the world at this time. It’s a role we’ve played for nearly a century, and it would be a shame to throw all of that away in the face of left-wing political pressure. Please don’t let Disney become just another thing we divide over.

Sadly, it appears TWDC is more concerned about placating progressives than maintaining any semblance of a family-friendly reputation. According to Variety, Disney’s Pixar has restored a same-sex kiss to its upcoming film Lightyear, set to hit theaters June 17, in yet another effort to apologize for its initial response to the Florida parental-rights bill. The film, which focuses on the real-life inspiration for the Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear, features a prominent female character named Hawthorne who was already depicted as having a “meaningful relationship” with another woman, Variety wrote, a point that may have been missed by young audiences were it not for a kiss between the two characters. Initially cut from the film, the kiss was reinstated following the backlash from employees over the Florida parental-rights bill.

US Government Paid News Media $1 Billion to Promote Vaccines

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by TheBlaze shows Health and Human Services spent $1 billion for a media campaign to build public confidence in, and uptake of, COVID-19 vaccines using mainstream news outlets
  • News outlets that did respond to TheBlaze assured them the editorial staff are not influenced by advertising money, but it's not hard to imagine management would not look kindly on editorial staff who write content that doesn't align with the advertising narrative
  • Mounting evidence demonstrates why the government is paying for a good press since insurance companies reported a rise in all-cause mortality in late 2021
  • The first batch of Pfizer documents the FDA used to approve Comirnaty (Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine) was released March 1, 2022; mRNA technology inventor Dr. Robert Malone believes these papers show a break in the indemnification clauses, exposing Pfizer to potential civil and criminal liability

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released information to TheBlaze1 in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The information showed that the federal government had purchased advertising to the tune of $1 billion taxpayer dollars as part of a media campaign to build vaccine confidence.

HHS2 has billed the campaign as a “national initiative to increase public confidence in, and uptake of, COVID-19 vaccines while reinforcing basic prevention measures such as mask-wearing and social distancing.” Data don’t support these measures, but the media campaign was likely hiding something more sinister.

HHS Paid News Media to Build Vaccine Confidence

Within the documents sent from HHS, TheBlaze3 found that hundreds of organizations in the news media were paid to produce TV, print, radio, and social media advertising timed to coincide with the increasing availability of the genetic therapy shots.

The government also collaborated with social media influencers whose audience included “communities hit hard by COVID-19” and also engaged “experts” to be interviewed and promote the mass vaccination campaign in the news.4 One of those experts was the director of NIAID and chief medical adviser to the White House, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

In other words, Fauci, the man who has been the “face” of COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021,5 who publicly disparaged anyone who questioned the data he was using to support his recommendations, and who blithely referred to himself as “the science,”6,7 was, in fact, a shill.

Virtually every one of the news organizations paid by HHS, including ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and the New York Post, covered stories about the vaccines and did not disclose they had accepted taxpayer dollars to support the vaccine effort. It is common practice for the editorial teams to function separately from the advertising departments, so it appears the organizations felt there was no need to disclose their funding.

The advertising took several forms, including an amusing social media campaign featuring Elton John and Michael Caine, fear-based ads that featured survivor stories, and straightforward informational ads promoting the safety and efficacy of the current mRNA shot for COVID-19.

Shani George, vice president of communications for The Washington Post made a statement about the funding they received for media advertising from the federal government, saying:8

"Advertisers pay for space to share their messages, as was the case here, and those ads are clearly labeled as such. The newsroom is completely independent from the advertising department.”

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Times also responded to TheBlaze and gave a similar response. Other publications either did not respond or declined to comment. However, it is important to note that the reporters and editorial staff responsible for news also likely read their own publications or watch the online videos.

It’s not hard to imagine that a large news organization promoting vaccinations through their advertising department would not look kindly on editorial staff who choose to report facts that do not align with large sums of money spent by advertisers. You can guess what the editorial staff may be told to write. TheBlaze offered several examples of thinly disguised advertising published as “news,” including:

  • An October BuzzFeed9 article featured "essential facts" about eligibility for the vaccine and unbalanced, pro-vaccine statements from health agency experts such as CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, and epidemiologist Dr. George Rutherford.
  • Articles in the Los Angeles Times10 featured "experts" advising people how to convince their vaccine-hesitant friends and relatives to change their minds.
  • A Washington Post article covered "the pro-vaccine messages people want to hear."11
  • A Newsmax article in November ran the headline "Newsmax Opposes Vaccine Mandate, Here's Why."12 The article, obviously an opinion piece, began by saying the mandate was a "dangerous overreach" and then proceeded to support the vaccine campaign with statements like, "The vaccine …has been demonstrated to be safe and effective" and "Newsmax has encouraged citizens, especially those at risk, to get immunized."

Journalistic Objectivity Likely Impossible

The U.S. government is not the only entity to recognize the power behind controlling the news media. Bill Gates is another. Using more than 30,000 grants, Gates has contributed at least $319 million to the media, which senior staff writer for MintPress News Alan McLeod revealed.13

Recipients included CNN, NPR, BBC, The Atlantic, and PBS. Gates has also sponsored foreign organizations that included The Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times, and Al Jazeera. More than $38 million has also been funneled into investigative journalism centers.

Gates’ influence within the press is far-reaching, from journalism to journalistic training. This ultimately makes true objective reporting about Gates or his initiatives virtually impossible. MacLeod writes:14

“Today, it is possible for an individual to train as a reporter thanks to a Gates Foundation grant, find work at a Gates-funded outlet, and to belong to a press association funded by Gates. This is especially true of journalists working in the fields of health, education and global development, the ones Gates himself is most active in and where scrutiny of the billionaire’s actions and motives are most necessary.”

It is important to note that Gates has an intense interest in health, specifically vaccinations.15 And with this power to control the media and his strong connections with health organizations such as Johns Hopkins, with whom he collaborated for Event 201,16 it’s not hard to imagine that his influence can be seen in many of the stories you read or watch each day.

This government overreach into the Fourth Estate is not unique to the U.S. Leaked documents17 have demonstrated that the BBC News and Reuters have also been involved in a covert operation in which the U.K. sought to infiltrate Russian media and promote a U.K. narrative using a network of Russian journalists.

Multimillion-dollar contracts were used to advance these aims, which included 15,000 journalists and staff. The campaign closely follows a U.S. clandestine CIA media infiltration campaign launched in 1948 called Operation Mockingbird.18,19 About one-third of the CIA budget, or $1 billion each year, was spent on bribes to hundreds of American journalists, who then published fake stories at the CIA's request.

While it may sound like ancient history, there's evidence to suggest it continues today. Although the messages have changed with the times, the basic modus operandi of dissemination remains the same. Other reports20,21,22 have also highlighted the role of intelligence agencies in the global effort to eliminate "anti-vaccine propaganda" from public discussion, and the fact that they're using sophisticated cyberwarfare tools to do so.

Facts Reveal Reason Government Is Paying News Media

All-cause mortality and death rates are difficult statistics to change. People are either dead or they're not. There is only one reason a person is included in the National Death Index Database: They have died regardless of the cause. Evidence is mounting that all-cause mortality is rising to levels greater than were seen during 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

OneAmerica,23 a mutual insurance holding company, announced the death rate in working-age Americans from 18 to 64 years in the third quarter of 2021 was 40% higher than pre-pandemic levels. Other insurance companies are also finding similar results and citing higher mortality rates.24

The Hartford Insurance Company announced mortality had increased 32% from 2019 and 20% from 2020 to 2021. Lincoln National also reported claims increased by 13.7% year-over-year and were 54% higher in the fourth quarter compared to 2019. Funeral homes are posting an increase in burials and cremations in 2021 over 2020.25

The overall mortality increase noted after the global release of the COVID shot is also being reported in other countries. A large German health insurance company reported their data26,27 were nearly 14 times greater than the number of deaths reported by the German government. The health insurance company gathered the data directly from doctors who were applying for payment from a sample of 10.9 million people.

A reporter from The Exposé28 notes that while the world has been distracted by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the U.K. government quietly released a report29 that confirmed 9 in every 10 deaths from COVID-19 in England were in people who were fully vaccinated.

Each week the U.K. Health Security Agency publishes a surveillance report. The February 24, 2022, report shows 85% to 91% of adults who are infected, hospitalized, or died from COVID-19 were fully vaccinated.

Pfizer Documents Show Vaccines Not Fully Safe

Four days after the FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine for ages 16 and older, a group of public health professionals, doctors, scientists, and journalists submitted a FOIA request to release the data Pfizer used for the approval of Comirnaty.30 The nonprofit group of professionals is called the Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT).31

Despite the FDA’s claim that the organization was committed to transparency,32 the agency first requested 55 years33 to release the data that supported the approval of Comirnaty after the FOIA was filed and then asked for another 20 years to fully comply.34 All told, the FDA wanted 75 years to release documentation that supported their approval of a genetic therapy being promoted for mass vaccination.

When the FDA did not release the data, the PHMPT sued the FDA since it is the FDA’s statutory obligation35 to publish the documentation within 30 days of approving a drug. Although they asked for 75 years, on January 6, 2022, the court ordered the FDA to release 55,000 pages of the documents each month so they would be completed within 8 months.36

March 1, 2022, the first of those documents were released and have been posted for public view on the PMHPT website.37 What’s included in these documents may answer the question of why the government felt $1 billion was required to boost vaccine confidence.

An initial review of some of the papers by one Trial Site News reporter revealed many errors and anomalies. In an interview with Stephen Bannon, mRNA technology inventor Dr. Robert Malone talked about the documentation and the need to develop a team to comb through the information and catalog it for reference. He said:38

“So, all this information comes piped through pharmacovigilance what's called the pharmacovigilance shop at Pfizer and BioNTech. I presume Pfizer. And then that's been summarized and submitted to the FDA as a series of documents. So this is a window into what FDA actually knows, which is by inference what CDC knows.

When they tell us there’s no risks and we should go ahead and start mandating or forcing vaccination on our children, what we have for instance, in that section you're referring to of the listed adverse events is a huge list of what is considered to be adverse events of interest, which means that they're not just one-offs.

It happens multiple times throughout the world and what we're finding is embedded throughout this huge volume of documents that the judge has forced Pfizer and the FDA ... remember our government tried really hard to keep this information from us and fortunately the courts have called their bluff and forced them to disclose it. Now it's up to us to comb through it."

Malone went on to describe the trouble that will likely arise in the coming weeks and months for Pfizer and the FDA from the information that is now freely available to the public when Bannon asked, why is it so important that the courts demanded the information be released now?

"The courts have forced Pfizer and the FDA to comply with the law which is that after licensure is granted these documents must be made available. Previously they're considered confidential.

And remember that as Naomi's [Naomi Wolfe] about to discuss, and the truckers are so upset about, we have been forced to take these vaccines and we have been told that they're fully safe and effective. What this documents is the government has been well aware that they are not fully safe and has hidden this information from us.

What that really matters for Pfizer is that the indemnification clauses require Pfizer disclose known adverse events and this documentation demonstrates they didn't do so. A lot of the lawyers are licking their chops over this because it seems to indicate a break in the veil that may allow legal action basically due to fraud and concealment of these risks from the general public.

This is why you have not been able to have full informed consent, is they’ve hidden all this information from you and they’ve used all the propaganda and censorship tools — which you’re about to cover — and paid media, to keep all this information from you and spin it, so that you think the left is right and the down is the up and the moon is made of green cheese.”

(Natural News) Part of the deconstruction of America by the communists in Washington DC involves the breaking down of human character, values, morals, religion, and feelings of self-worth. This leads to heavy reliance on big government to “rescue” everyone from their problems of poverty, drug addictions, alcoholism, pornography addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, and poor health in general.

It’s a “rabbit hole” that also often leads to reliance on the government for money (loans, grants, and handouts) for school, food, rent, abortions, etc. It runs even deeper. It’s all a distraction so the children will grow up to vote for free money and more government tyranny. Sexual brainwashing is key to this insidious plan, and it begins very early on, believe it or not.

Hollywood and Disney play a huge role in how children perceive the real world, even though it’s just movies and shows. Just recently, Disney is pushing the lesbianism for children theme quite hard in the new Toy Story movie called “Lightyear,” and they’re catching a lot of flack for it. This is communism in the brewing, starting as early as possible, at the movies, schools, daycare centers, social media, and streaming television.

Gender fluid indoctrination part of communist takeover of America

This “gender fluid” indoctrination of children worldwide is a pedophile push to justify pushing adult sexual thinking and expressions onto the kids, and with children as young as they can possibly get away with it. Let’s face it, straight folks aren’t infiltrating schools to teach the kids how to tuck their package or saw off breasts to switch roles for sexual interests.

Straight folks aren’t literally trying to change the curriculum in elementary schools to eliminate “he” and “she” so everyone can use the same bathroom, along with the twisted adults who identify as teens or kids, and the children who are allowed to identify as cats or dogs. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, and now Disney Corporation has weaved in an overtly gay lesbian kissing scene in Pixar’s new Buzz Lightyear movie, and this thing is “not yet rated.” No wonder why.

This is Disney’s “revenge” for the Florida bill (Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill) that keeps identifying humans by their gender, instead of everyone being somewhere on the spectrum of fluid gay (a.k.a. the schooling of ‘gender orientation’ for children between kindergarten and third grade).

LGBTQ-Trans-Everything is the most important topic for all children of all ages, according to communists and perverts

There is substantial LGBTQ “representation” in the new movie, not just a French kiss scene between two women. Yet, Disney Corporation has previously issued a memo saying they were not going to be including LGBTQ themes in their movies, but so much for that. Disney executives say they always review gay content in Pixar films, and in retaliation for supposedly being “barred from creating it,” Disney will keep this in the kid’s film.

The Florida bill prohibits EXPOSING KIDS under ten to radical sexual practices and ideologies in school. There is NO mention of the word “gay,” in the legislation, as the radical gay activists and LGBTQ+ Disney executives just created their own scarecrow to burn for more attention. Now they’re screaming they were made a target in order to defend “educating” little kids about sexual preferences starting in kindergarten.

Again, the communist aggression is digging roots and injecting perversions in the elementary schools, kids’ movies, and through social media. Keep in mind Disney has made BILLIONS from communist China.

Maybe Disney should change Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Maggie and Minnie? Is Donald Duck actually a girl? Is little Bo Peep really a 58-year-old man in drag? Should Buzz Lightyear be wearing high heels and a thong (while tucking his shlong and his waxed balls) the whole movie, that way kids can better cope with stuff like that when they figure out what daily-changing gender they want to be? Is this where it’s all heading folks?

Remember, it’s all about distracting and perverting everybody so we won’t be able to defend our human rights and Bill of Rights, and so the elitists can eliminate the middle class. Just follow the bouncing ball. Ask yourself, should kindergarteners be educated about asking themselves what gender they are and which gender they would want to have sex with later? Only radical sex freaks seem to want that, oh, and most communists.

Portland Children’s Hospital Gives Kids Tips on ‘Tucking’ and Sex Shops

Teaching Boys to "Tuck"!? This Is Horrifying

When captains of industry and the biggest names in sports and tech signed on to support Oregon’s beloved Doernbecher (pronounced DORN-becker) Children’s Hospital, they probably didn’t think they were underwriting efforts to give minor children advice on sneaking into adult sex shops.

Though sex shops are as plentiful in Oregon as Starbucks and 7-Eleven stores due to Oregon’s elastic free speech law that puts live sex acts on par with political debates, it’s assumed that giving children access to sex shops was not part of the Doernbecher deal when it first took effect.

And yet, here we are.

Comes now the news that Doernbecher has been giving sex pointers to kids who are sexually confused. Seldom do you find a small child who thinks often about sex or finds him or herself confused about it, but doggone it, Doernbecher is here to help.

Doernbecher, an institution that one assumes believes in science, states its only stance on gender questions is to “affirm” the sexuality of a child we’ve been told is inherently “confused” about sexuality.

“As part of its mission to ensure the health and well-being of all patients, Oregon Health & Science University proudly offers gender-affirming health care to patients of all ages, including children and adolescents,” the hospital’s parent organization said to TND in a statement. “Providers follow established, evidence-based medical standards, and employ a thoughtful, multidisciplinary process that involves both patients and their support systems.

The hospital that treats children with dire medical needs like cancer treatments now supplies the full gamut of sex-change surgeries and medical interventions, including puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and gender-affirming surgeries “that involves both patients and their support systems” (emphasis added). Parents aren’t mentioned.

The hospital offers a way for underaged, “confused,” and easily suggestible children to get dress-up clothes for aspiring drag queens … at an adult sex store.

“In the Portland area … is a sex-positive shop … . They sell gender-affirming clothing items as well as sex toys, videos, and more. The shop is for people age 18 and older, but they offer appointments before or after hours for younger shoppers. You can schedule an appointment by calling them or emailing.” Emphasis added.

Is sexualizing children now part of the Doernbecher portfolio? If so, they might want to mention it on their IRS 990 forms or their website, so all those unsuspecting doyennes who might be thinking of leaving their fortunes to the hospital know that it will go toward encouraging inappropriate sexual behavior for children without their parents’ knowledge. Just a thought.

And then there’s the Doernbecher how-to guide for children on “tucking” male genitalia to make the child look more like a girl when in drag.

The children’s hospital also provides tips on “taping the penis and scrotum,” “putting your testicles inside your body,” and “where to buy tucking clothing,” and recommends an Etsy shop that sells tucking attire for “children.”

Any way you tuck it, it sounds painful.

The tips go on: “Press gently on your testicles … you should not feel faint or nauseated or have extreme pain. If you do, take a break and try again later.” And the following tip is included: “If you find yourself getting aroused, take a break and try again later. An erection will make it impossible to tuck.”

Gee, thanks for the tip.

Sinclair Broadcasting’s TND received a comment from the hospital, and officials said they were very proud of its “gender-affirming health care to patients of all ages, including children and adolescents.” The statement continued that it’s all based on science-y science in “a thoughtful, multidisciplinary process that involves both patients and their support systems.”

It also said that “medical interventions are not provided for children,” but considering that the children’s hospital’s previous statements said the advice was for children, it’s unclear what their definition of “children” is.

According to the hospital’s Form 990, it has received about $90 million in state support since 2014. Now, that’s a lot of taxpayer money.

Pronoun Passports for children Are Coming to schools

BY LINDA HARVEY

SEE: https://www.missionamerica.com/article/pronoun-passports-are-coming/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Insanity over pronouns has hit the Midwest. Children and teachers are being pressured to declare their pronouns and parents are livid.

In the Olentangy school district near Columbus, a middle school language teacher required all the students to stand up and declare his or her pronouns. A high school teacher in that same district told the class to let her know if she should change a student’s pronouns when contacting parents.

In the Dublin (OH) City Schools, a class of elementary students was asked to name their individual pronouns. At Hilliard Davidson High School (a Columbus suburb), teachers are called to the principal’s office and forced to apologize to a student if an unwanted pronoun is used. At that same school, an assistant principal now signs his correspondence with “he/him” following his name.

How long before children are called to the principal’s office for being unwilling to state their pronouns? Or will all of our children go along with this? They will unless their parents spell it out for them.

T-Y-R-A-N-N-Y is what’s going on here. The “LGBTQ” folks are serious about obliterating “heteronormativity” and your children are their change agents.

Is it any wonder three percent of Ohio public school students have been removed in the past two years [53,000 students]? And Christian and Catholic schools are bursting at the seams?

Of course, pronoun insanity is already law in New York City, where “malicious” pronoun misuse by an employer or landlord can result in high fines.

But most of the country is still in touch with reality-- or so we thought. And little kids were, until recently, still spared from the “LGBTQ” bizarro fantasy world.

What I am wondering is, how long before this is a required identifier after each child’s name in not just a few, but most public schools? While we were frustrated about masks, special interest activists have been hard at work, securing lavish Biden administration American Rescue Plan funding for “safe re-opening” (i.e., “make sure all the radical agendas are set in stone”). In Ohio, $6.5 billion has been distributed from federal sources. Money, money, money!

Now, a flood of recent “diversity, equity and inclusion” staff positions have been filled to enforce uniformity, partiality, and exclusion. And a slew of counselors and social workers have been hired for “social-emotional learning” initiatives, so radical teachers are empowered and loaded for bear.

You, conservative Christian parent, are the bear. Do not mess with us while we tutor your child and his teacher in the ever-expanding perversion lexicon of invented human categories like “non-binary, gender fluid, genderqueer, two-spirit” to replace “male” and “female,” which are said to be “sex assigned at birth.” Reality is just too threatening, apparently.

Here’s what one Ohio mom wrote to me: “My son was surveyed by computer as to how he identified sexually by asking him to provide his preferred pronoun.” These parents were not notified in advance that their 12-year-old would be asked this question.

Unless outspoken parents can roll this back, pronouns will be a new form of passport affirming that a child is “ready to learn” ( aka, ready to be indoctrinated). Yet who among our bravest will stand up and say, “I refuse”? Because it really has to be done, by brave young warriors at as many schools as possible.

This is not just a manipulative way to compel acceptance of gender deviance, but it’s also an assault on our common language. One presenter at a recent teacher training workshop in Hilliard schools, an open advocate of homosexuality and gender deviance, mused that some activists globally are pushing to change languages that have embedded gender cases-- for instance,  French. And to her, this is a good thing.

Many French-speakers are rebelling against linguistic activism because it unnecessarily complicates the language as an article in Forbes explains: “France doesn’t have a pronoun for ‘they’– in the third person plural, people must choose between the masculine ils or feminine elles.”

Praise God.

And even though radicals are pushing for a “non-binary” French pronoun like “iel,” it hasn’t happened yet, not even in Canada—unless progressive dictator Justin Trudeau will force this on his country, too.

In the U.S, activists persuaded Merriam- Webster to adopt “they” as a singular pronoun, and the dictionary publisher declared it the “word of the year” in 2019.  Sigh.

But do children have to be forced to use such nonsense? Clear language reflects clear thinking.

Back to Ohio. Teachers in Parma schools, Hilliard schools, and Mariemont schools have been tutored in pronoun nonsense, with valuable professional development time spent on the nuances of using mythological pronouns like “ze/zir” and so on. The Mariemont presenter, who appears to be a female, goes by pronouns “they/them."

In Hilliard, teachers were instructed to engage in an exercise where they introduced themselves to one another adding their pronouns after their names. Many cooperatively went along with this lunacy.

Those who cooperate with pronoun tyranny are affirming the following:

1. That gender change is possible and is a worthwhile behavior, even for the developing child

2. That you “respect” the idea of gender change

3. That you are okay with fudging the science of male/female biology for the greater good of an invented “non-binary” standard

4. That religious objections do not need to be respected and should be scorned or ignored

Be sure this is okay with you. If it is, may God open your eyes and soften your heart.

If it’s not, then get ready to stand on your convictions--- and show our children how they can do the same.

All for One and Theft for All—The Fallacy of the Social-Justice Movement

By Carl Teichrib

Author’s Note: Volumes could be written on the different historical and philosophical applications of social justice, and we could easily find ourselves lost in a tangled maze of ideologies and nuances. Hence, this booklet seeks to examine the core element of social justice as a current social-economical-political movement.

[W]e must understand that the only road to peace and social justice is socialism. . . . With the exploiting classes there will never be social justice; without social justice there will never be peace.1—Celia Hart, a socialist author

[I]t is necessary to understand that every modern theory of social justice is ideological. No matter how reasonable or rational it may be, every modern theory of social justice is the rationalization of the interests of a particular group or class.2—William E. Murnion, a socialist professor

[A]ll modern trends point to the specter of a terrifying, bigger and more pitiless conformity.3—Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, political scientist/ philosopher

A boiling, seething emotion rose from my chest into my throat. An avalanche of angry words tumbled from my small mouth. My indignation could not be quenched. A final declaration sounded with thick certainty. “When I’m older, I’m going to do something about this.” I was only about ten years old when I said these words, but I had seen enough to know. Gross injustices had been observed.

I well remember the bitter experience. Me, a sensible farm boy—and my grandparents, owners of a small fabric shop in a sleepy prairie town—had traveled to the claustrophobic city of Winnipeg. The purpose: to visit textile outlets and make purchases of cloth. After two days of warehouses and shop floors, I knew this was the end of the world. Working conditions were deplorable: Too little sunshine, poorly chosen paint colors, and smelly old merchantmen.

“Here’s some candy, kid.” It tasted stale. At one critical point, Grandma had to shush me. Didn’t she know? Didn’t anybody care? The lone Pepsi machine we had passed in the darkened hall wore a sign of prophetic importance: “Out of Order.” And I was dying of thirst.

Yes, the textile industry—indeed, the entire business world—was out of order. How could anybody work in these depressing places? Boredom alone had to be killing people; it was killing me!

As we loaded up with fabric and left this urban wasteland, I caught a glimpse of something else. A brick-lined smokestack was silhouetted against the evening sky, and smoke—or steam (it didn’t matter)—was belching forth to choke out nature’s life. That’s when I lost it. Didn’t those people know what they were doing? Didn’t anybody in the government have a brain? Not only was the city a depressing place and the warehouses terrible for workers, but the factories were going to kill everything! When I grew up, I was going to put a stop to this madness. Others would join in this desire to change the world. We would save the worker from his intolerable slavery and rescue the environment from the hands of greedy merchantmen. Justice, or vengeance, would be served—whether at home or abroad. Grandma soothingly patronized me. Grandpa, lips tight, said nothing.

Bending Minds

Looking back, I marvel. As a young mind, I had a keen sense of “social rights” and “justice.” And I was a prime candidate to have swung to the more extreme side of the leftist camp. In fact, my impressionable mind was already moving in that direction. Unaware that I was mimicking a Marxist approach—a social revolution through mass action—I was emotionally convinced that radical surgery was the only recourse. Where had this come from?

My parents and grandparents were no-nonsense farmers and business owners. They worked very hard at their respective livelihoods, were quick to help anyone who needed assistance, and contributed to the local community in different ways—including, on my mother’s part, teaching English to Laotian immigrants (those were the days of the Boat People). Both my parents and grandparents emphasized Christian ethics and values, to stand up for the underdog, and remain independent in the face of peer pressure; “You were born an original; don’t die a copy.”

The church I attended had Mennonite roots but didn’t cater to leftist ideologies. In fact, it had separated itself from a Mennonite denomination in part because of a growing socialist-slant in the larger body. At heart, we were probably the only non-pacifist Mennonite church in the district.

Television? No. At that time, TV consisted of Bugs Bunny on Saturday evenings and Dad trying to watch The Lawrence Welk Show while we kids faithfully re-enacted Wile-E Coyote cliff-falls from the top of the couch. There just wasn’t much time for television.

Public school? This was the late 1970s, and an environmental curriculum was already in play. In the local high school, The Environmental Handbook was used as a text, complete with overtly anti-Christian, anti-family, and anti-capitalist rhetoric. The Environmental Handbook, for all practical purposes, was a Marxist/Trotskyite call to radical green action—“nothing short of total transformation will do much good.”4 Other school texts, such as the Prose of Relevance and Worlds in the Making, shaped minds to accept quantum cultural shifts, including the move towards socialist and technocratic ideals.

Elementary school and junior high also witnessed a steady stream of transforming curricula. I remember hearing about the growing problems of over-population and the destruction of the ecosystem caused by human greed and pollution. Injustice was occurring in different parts of the world. Nuclear annihilation was around the corner. Whether overt or subtle, the message was clear: The old ways of how society functioned could no longer be tolerated. Too much was at stake, and it was up to my generation to fix the world’s problems. Whether the teachers knew it or not, we were being shaped to change the system. Thus, a variety of cultural and social alternatives entered the classroom—including Marxism. The mood of my childhood education was shaped by what had occurred less than a decade earlier.

The late 1960s and early ’70s was a hinge time for Western society, and the ripple effect spread far and wide. This was the era of the New Left, with its vanguard techniques and its challenge to cultural norms. Radicalism clashed with conventionalism, the drug culture blossomed, and Eastern forms of spirituality entered the mainstream. In America, the welfare or “servile state” was greatly expanded, including experiments in community housing. All of this was coupled with the Vietnam War, which first demoralized France and then the United States. During this time, “peace” groups parroted Soviet propaganda; capitalism was equated with “warmongering” while socialism reflected equity and peace. The liberal-mined West embraced this trend, even though Frederick C. Barghoorn, a Yale professor who had been interned by the Soviet government in 1963, had warned America about the use of “peace” as a method in furthering Marxist ideology. Published one year after his arrest and release, his book Soviet Foreign Propaganda provided an important warning:

It should be emphasized that all of the Soviet leaders, from Lenin and Trotski through Stalin and Khrushchev, strove in their peace propaganda to appeal both to revolutionaries seeking the overthrow of constitutional democracy and to western businessmen, liberals, pacifists, and the general public whose non-dialectic conception of peace was limited to the simple absence of armed conflict.5

Liberals and pacifists of Western nations were viewed as important players in the cause of international Marxism. Their importance came not from an understanding of the Moscow-Hegelian-Marxist program but from their ignorance. Convinced of holding the moral high ground and blinded by a sense of enlightenment, these individuals advanced the Communist agenda by acting on the emotion of the ideal. In other words, they were emotionally drawn to a Marxist-oriented “social justice” cause—the “plight of the worker,” economic and social inequalities, the desire for class-based justice, and the “struggle for peace.” These individuals would then become activists, educators, and cultural trendsetters. And they demanded social transformation that would, invariably, have an anti-capitalist and anti-individualist tone. The boys in Moscow grinned.

The only way of “assuring lasting peace in the world” from the Marxist perspective, explained Barghoon, is the “elimination of capitalism.”6 Peace, solidarity, and justice throbbed with a Leninist heartbeat throughout this turbulent time period. Capitalism, with its emphasis on private property and free enterprise, was considered the prime cause of social strife. Socialism, with its emphasis on community and social order, was the path to progress. This leftist ideology was solidly embedded in education during the 1970s, and from that point on its fingerprints can be observed in practically all major institutional systems, including schools and churches.

Retna Ghosh and Douglas Ray, in the preface to their 1987 book Social Change and Education in Canada, provide a short outline of social theories that shaped modern education. This included Herbert Spencer’s social Darwinism, the conflict theories of Karl Marx, modernization, and the concept of human capital with its emphasis on workforce development. Each impacted the Canadian school system, as did technocracy and a host of other philosophies. And while the system may see distinctions in these theories, the classroom was far more blurred. Indeed, any of the above—or a mix of all—shaped the student’s worldview. But rarely did the student understand the ideal behind the curriculum. As Ghosh and Ray explained:

Social change, whether gradual or revolutionary, is inevitable and brings with it new patterns of social interaction. The place of education in this process is both complex and critical.7

For a young mind in the late ’70s bombarded by a host of conflicting educational patterns, the emotional tug attached to exploited social issues seemed the most relevant. No wonder my trip to Winnipeg ended with a Trotskyite call for revolution.

What has any of this to do with “social justice”? Everything.

Catholic Social Justice

In today’s Christian world—and Western culture in general—there’s a myriad of changes taking place, and with it comes a new language. “Social Justice” is certainly in the spotlight. Jim Wallis of Sojourners played a huge role in introducing the concept to millions of Christians as did many emergent/progressive figures like Brian McLaren, Shane Claiborne, and a myriad of others with the help of numerous large Christian publishing companies—all seeking to reframe Christianity in a social-justice context. Today, the Christian Reformed Church has an Office of Social Justice; the Salvation Army has The International Social Justice Commission; and a fast-growing number of Christian colleges, seminaries, and universities now have social-justice programs as do many, if not most, denominations and ministries.

But where does this term come from, and what is its dominant history?

“Social justice” appears to have been first employed in the early 1840s by an Italian Catholic theologian and Jesuit, Luigi Taparelli D’Azeglio.8 As Daniel M. Bell points out in his book, Liberation Theology After the End of History, d’Azeglio’s concept was “justice as a general virtue that coordinated all activity with the common good.9

The notion of virtue is important, for it brings a flavor of charity. Taparelli’s vision circled around justice as a system of moral norms that included individual rights and the freedom to associate. The greater whole of the community—the “sum total of individual goods”10—would thus benefit. This form of “justice” was also known as economic justice and looked upon wealth redistribution as a coordination of rights. Direct government administration should be avoided wherever possible, for Taparelli recognized the danger of centralization.11

In 1891, Pope Leo XIII issued his encyclical Rerum Novarum, which dealt with the conditions of the working class, the right to private property, and the workplace relationship. Leo XIII rejected Communism and the greed that arises from an amoral application of capitalism, instead advocating that worker and employer should come to an honest agreement regarding labor and wages. At this point, Catholicism rejected Marxist-based socialism.

Decades later, Pope Pius XI penned his encyclical Quadragesimo Anno. In it, he denounced Communism and at the same time embraced wealth redistribution—the sharing of benefits—as a function of social justice (#57). “By this law of social justice, one class is forbidden to exclude the other from sharing in the benefits.” While this idea started to stretch the earlier limits of Catholic social justice, he at least recognized that all sides of the class divide could be negative players: the rich withholding the wages due to the worker, and the worker demanding all from the rich. That aside, the free-market system wasn’t an acceptable means to build a civilization on social justice:

Just as the unity of human society cannot be founded on an opposition of classes, so also the right ordering of economic life cannot be left to a free competition of forces. For from this source, as from a poisoned spring, have originated and spread all the errors of individualist economic teaching . . . [F]ree competition, while justified and certainly useful provided it is kept within certain limits, clearly cannot direct economic life—a truth which the outcome of the application in practice of the tenets of this evil individualistic spirit has more than sufficiently demonstrated. Therefore, it is most necessary that economic life be again subjected to and governed by a true and effective directing principle. (#88)

In reading through the encyclical, unsettling doublespeak emerges. Communism is chastised, yet the free market is evil. In this dialectic, the end result is that “certain kinds of property . . . ought to be reserved to the State.” The “public authority,” according to Pius XI, should maintain ownership of enterprises that advance the “general welfare.”(#114-115). A slide down the slippery slope had now begun in earnest; “social justice” would become the excuse par-excellence in calling for a global collectivist system.

Speaking on Pius XI’s views regarding economic justice, Pope John XXIII pointed out that “man’s aim must be to achieve in social justice a national and international juridical order, with its network of public and private institutions, in which all economic activity can be conducted not merely for private gain but also in the interests of the common good.”12 Furthermore, in 1963, John XXIII advocated a “universal authority” to ensure this “common good.”13

This was the era of Vatican II. Speaking of the changes that occurred during this period, Professor Philip C. Bom tells us, “It could be characterized as a shift from anti-Communism toward pro-commonism of a new world order.”14

In 1965, Pope Paul VI made similar comments at the United Nations, openly suggesting “the establishment of a world authority.”15 Why? Because a world authority is needed to establish and maintain an international “common good.” That same year, Paul VI’s document Gaudium et Spes—Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World—recognized that the Catholic Church has an important role to play in constructing “a peaceful and fraternal community of nations.”(#90) In that vein, he recommended in Section II titled “Setting Up an International Community,” the creation of a Catholic organ designed to promote “international social justice.”(#90). Individualism was upheld in the document, but it must support the greater good. Communistic collectivism in production was considered erroneous, yet a form of social collectivism was deemed necessary. An excerpt from paragraph 65 demonstrates this social-justice relationship:

Citizens, on the other hand, should remember that it is their right and duty, which is also recognized by the civil authority, to contribute to the true progress of their own community according to their ability . . . those who hold back their unproductive resources or who deprive their community of the material or spiritual aid that it needs—save the right of migration—gravely endanger the common good.

Here we see a swing far past the earlier idea of a charitable virtue. The implication is forthright: you will participate. In the context of this particular document, that participation includes the demands of a global community and world civil authority.

Although Pope John Paul II was perceived as more conservative, he too espoused a globally-minded social-justice agenda. This was evident in his endorsement of the UN Millennium Development Goals, which gravitate around wealth redistribution. (Note: While the Millennium Development Goals outwardly demonstrate some admirable targets—education, eradication of poverty and hunger, improved health—the methods are suspect.)16 And as the most notable geopolitical pope of the twentieth century, John Paul envisioned “a globalization of solidarity.”17 In discussing globalization as a unifying factor, he said:

For all its risks it offers exceptional and promising opportunities, precisely with a view to enabling humanity to become a single family, build on the values of justice, equity and solidarity.18

Furthermore, the U.S. Catholic bishops, operating under John Paul’s reign, were open regarding social justice—“the common good”—in their 1986 letter, “Economic Justice For All”:

The common good may sometimes demand that the right to own be limited by public involvement in the planning or ownership of certain sectors of the economy. Support of private ownership does not mean that anyone has the right to unlimited accumulation of wealth. (#115)

Interestingly, Catholic commentators from all sides of the political spectrum described the bishops’ document as “pro-capitalist.” However, a cursory read demonstrates that “Economic Justice For All” is pro-socialist. Yes, the responsibility of the individual is highlighted and private property is validated. However, it’s the bishops’ economic justice that displays a different set of cards, with its call for collective, government-directed programs aimed at curing social ills. Individuals, therefore, are obligated to participate under government dictates. In other words, if you can contribute to the common good, then you must contribute. This is reminiscent of the Marxist maxim: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

Writing for the Journal of Business Ethics, William E. Murnion gives a straightforward assessment of the bishop’s text: “[T]he conception of justice it espouses is . . . clearly socialist, and communist at that.” Murnion conceded that the bishops were not “crypto-communists,” just that their “conception of social justice is indeed identical with the communist principle of justice even though the bishops have arrived at it from a route entirely opposed to Marx’s.”19

Finally, from the Catholic perspective, Pope Benedict XVI amply demonstrated his affinity to social justice through his encyclical Caritas in Veritate. Here, social justice is recognized as an issue of prime economic and political importance, one that goes beyond the free-market approach. According to this encyclical, economic redistribution is justice. The Pope also recommended that the United Nations be reformed, along with the global economy, so that a “true world political authority” would emerge “with teeth.”(#67) Why? To “seek to establish the common good.” (#67).

Although some older Papal teachings uphold private property and reject Marxist socialism, such as Pope Leo XIII in Rerum Novarum, the Roman Catholic hierarchy over the past hundred-plus years has increasingly bridged “social justice” with economic and political collectivism. In this sense, the Holy See has become a cheerleading squad for the United Nations’ system of socialist management. As Professor Bom explains in his book, The Coming Century of Commonism, “Slowly, step-by-step, stage-by-stage, the Catholic church-state champions the U.N.’s agenda for a New International Economic Order.”20

Pope Francis, the current pope, openly embraces social-justice concepts and has frequently called for “global wealth redistribution”21 for the common good. He supports the U.N.’s efforts and agendas to control wealth and its redistribution; and in a 2020 encyclical, Fratelli Tutti, he exuded socialism (and at times bordering communism) suggesting that capitalism is ineffective and criticized individualism in favor of its opposite, collectivism.

Parallel to the modern Catholic version of social justice is another historical movement giving active energy to the term. And if the Papal idea of social justice found itself on the slippery slope to collectivism, this parallel movement intentionally aimed for the bottom of the hill.

Marxist Social Justice

For generations, there has been an activist side to the idea of wealth redistribution. This popular front, with a web of splinter groups, organizations, and fellow travelers, used “social justice” as the rallying cry for cultural transformation. In fact, this movement is very much alive today and continues to use the term as an effective banner. These social-justice flag-wavers have been the most vocal preachers of collectivism—the followers of Karl Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, and dozens of other socialist and communist leaders. Communists and social radicals have been, hands-down, the winners when it comes to employing this term. The Socialist International has always used it, as has Trotskyite organizations, Red factions, and a multitude of socialist political parties.

The idea of social justice within a more political context goes back a long way. In 1848, the Society of Fraternal Democrats, an international body that rubbed shoulders with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, published a veiled threat against the British system:

Let the privileged classes renounce their unjust usurpations and establish political equality and social justice, and England will have nothing to fear against a world in arms.22

Under Communism, wealth redistribution was to be used for social ends. In this structure, private property for personal gain was viewed as the cornerstone of the class system and was seen as the cause of social injustice and strife. Wealth redistribution, therefore, was aimed at producing a society where all people were economically equal. Hence, the abolition of bourgeois property (that of the capitalist class) was the key component of Communism. Once the proletariat (working class) had attained political power, a more just social system could be birthed.

The proletariat will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degrees, all capital from the bourgeoisie, to centralize all instruments of production in the hands of the State, i.e., of the proletariat organized as the ruling class; and to increase the total of productive forces as rapidly as possible. Of course, in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by means of despotic inroads on the rights of property.23

This concept of social justice, the raising of an “oppressed” class through the degradation of another class, is a reactionary process based on the arousing of envy. At this base level, and in other respects, Communism is directly linked to the French Revolution—an event that had sparked worldwide revolutionary fervor, and one whose shots are still echoing today. Austrian philosopher and defender of freedom, Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, provides historical context:

. . . how many people were murdered or killed in battle because of the ideas of the French Revolution in their various stages, guises, and evolutionary forms, because of the ideas of equality, ethnic or racist identity, a “classless society,” a “world safe for democracy,” a “racially pure people,” “true social justice achieved by social engineering.”24

Weaving the thread of envy and social change, Kuehnelt-Leddihn reminds us:

In the last 200 years the exploitation of envy, its mobilization among the masses, coupled with the denigration of individuals, but more frequently of classes, races, nations or religious communities has been the very key to political success. . . . All leftist “isms” harp on this theme (i.e., on the privilege of groups, minority groups, to be sure, who are objects of envy and at the same time subjects of intellectual-moral inferiorities. They have no right to their exalted positions. They ought to conform to the rest, become identical with “the people,” renounce their privileges, conform. If they speak another language, they ought to drop it and talk the lingo of the majority. If they are wealthy their riches should be taxed away or confiscated).25

This method of arousing envy, often disguised as virtue—“we’re doing this for the poor and oppressed”—is built upon a sense of moral superiority and indignation, which then ferments into loathing and “social action.” At this point, the emotion of the ideal becomes the driver of transformation. Perched on this self-constructed high point, we quickly sanction socialism (the theft of all for the “greater good”). Or, not content by the slowness of socialism, Communism is pursued through revolution (the gutting of one class for the “greater good”). Either way, collectivism is instituted, which is the empowerment of those who claim to guide the general good. In all of this, they say, democracy takes on a purification role, expressed as “Mob Rule.” Whoever controls the biggest mob through the emotion of the ideal is the one who rules. Social change then occurs either through the ballot box or the barrel of a gun. It doesn’t matter: the Mob has spoken; “equality” will be enforced, and we can bask in the “warm herd feeling of brotherhood.”26

Literary critic and former Marxist, Herbert Read, well understood these connections:

Communism is an extreme form of democracy, and it is totalitarian: but equally the totalitarian state in the form of fascism is an extreme form of democracy. All forms of socialism, whether state socialism of the Russian kind, or national socialism of the German kind, or democratic socialism of the British kind, are professedly democratic, that is to say, they all obtain popular assent by the manipulation of mass psychology.27

Over the years, Communist and socialist leaders have rallied the masses with the message of inequality (“oppression”) and the social-justice solution: economic equality, which, they say, will come about and “bring the end of inequalities and establish real social justice.”28 In the current climate of the 2020s, Critical Race Theory has been resurrected and is being introduced to millions (including school children) to help bring about the socialist, Marxist plan for Western society.

In 1898, Eugene V. Debs—later dubbed “America’s greatest Marxist”—equated a collective society, industrial freedom, and social justice.29 A few years later, during World War I, he noted that permanent peace based on social justice wouldn’t occur until “national industrial despotism” was replaced by “international industrial democracy.” Economic profit was anathema to peace, and the ending of war could only come with the ending of “profit and plunder among nations.”30 A new order was needed where one class was stripped and replaced by a more progressive and global apparatus.

V.I. Lenin and his gang “came to power with an ambitious program of measures designed to ensure social justice and improve the lot of the poor.”31 Maxim Gorky, a friend of Lenin, couches this in glowing words of endearment:

The heroic deeds which [Lenin] achieved are surrounded by no glittering halo. His was that heroism which Russia knows well—the unassuming, austere life of self-sacrifice of the true Russian revolutionary intellectual who, in his unshakable belief in the possibility of social justice on earth, renounces all the pleasures of life in order to toil for the happiness of mankind.32

The result was disastrous. Mervyn Matthews tells us, “The efforts to banish ‘capitalist exploitation’ had all but destroyed the wealthier classes without benefiting more than a tiny proportion of the poor.”33

But it did benefit Lenin and company. Never mind the mountain of corpses; progress always comes with a price. By 1922, the Russian Revolution had cost the lives of six to ten million.

Decades later in the Americas, Castro summed up the Cuban revolution “as an aspiration for social justice.”34 Che Guevara couched his bloody revolution as an “armed struggle for freedom of rights and social justice.”35 This crude theme is common to all leftist uprisings because it rests in the heart of all leftist ideologies. Socialist author Celia Hart put it this way:

With the exploiting classes there will never be social justice; without social justice there will never be peace . . . Never before has the world needed, as now, to remember November seven [the anniversary of the October Revolution]. Never before must we understand that the banner of Bolshevism never died . . . And let us shout to our enemies, regardless of whether they call us terrorists, that we will not fight for the imperialist war, or for the miserable peace of injustices; we will fight together for the socialist revolution in permanent combat. Workers of the World, Unite!36

It’s a radical call. Today we see social justice linked to a myriad of radical movements, including environmentalism. Nice sounding, morally high terms arise from this Marxist-green marriage: “Eco-justice,” “green justice,” and “climate justice.” How does this look?

In 1990, the Manitoba government, in partnership with UNESCO convened the prestigious World Environment Energy and Economic Conference. The theme was provocative: “Sustainable Development Strategies and the New World Order.” A report was released with the findings, titled “Sustainable Development for a New World Agenda.” Chapter 2, “Towards a Global Green Constitution,” fleshed out a section with the subtitle “Social Justice.” Population control, green energy regulations, and accounting systems that suggested “an official global policy of one child per family” and the “principle of global economic equality” would be central to the “green government,” the text reported. Human rights would also be at the forefront.

“Intolerable attitudes” wouldn’t be tolerated, all in the name of protecting the oppressed. Now, real oppression is evil. Nobody in his or her right mind wants oppression to occur or flourish. But social justice ala collectivism is the most dangerous form of oppression imaginable. Moreover, the truly downtrodden—like the peasants of the old Soviet Union—rarely have their load lightened under social justice. Instead, with the destruction of the creative capital inherent in a free market, the plight of the poor continues. In fact, life often becomes more difficult.

No wonder F.A. Hayek called Marxist-based social justice a “pseudo-ethics”—one that “fails every test which a system of moral rules must satisfy in order to secure a peace and voluntary co-operation of free men.”37

Getting Our Terms Right

“My church has a social justice mandate . . . This is something I support.” Sounds nice, but can you tell me what you mean? The usual response I get, thankfully, centers on feeding the poor, helping at a homeless shelter or safe house, assisting the elderly, working with troubled teens, or supporting an orphanage.

Sorry, that’s not social justice. The dominant social-justice concept for the past 150 years has been centered on the sliding slope of papal-advocated wealth redistribution, alongside a Marxist version of collectivism. Feeding the poor and assisting the helpless, from a Christian perspective, isn’t social justice—its biblical compassion, a generous act of love. Such acts of compassion engage individual lives and are based on the Christian call of loving others more than self. This is the heart of compassion: An individual sees a need and operating out of love, reaches to meet that need. Churches too are to function in a similar manner. A need is evident and moved by compassion, the congregation works to solve the dilemma. Coercion never enters the picture, nor does a political agenda emerge, nor is a call for economic equality heard.

The biblical parable of the Good Samaritan demonstrates true compassion (Luke 10). A Jewish man has been beaten, robbed, and left to die on the road. Various people pass him by, including the religiously pious. However, a Samaritan traveler sees the individual, and although the Samaritan is culturally alienated from the Jewish man, he recognizes the desperation and individually takes action—dressing his wounds and providing a place of rest and refuge. And the Samaritan pays for it himself without demanding remuneration or compensation, either from the victim, his family, or community or from the government or ruling class. However, if the Samaritan were a supporter of the dominant theme in social justice, he would have acted with a different motive for different ends. The Samaritan would have used the occasion to lobby for social transformation:

  • The robbers were really victims of an unjust economic system and had acted in response to the oppression of the capital class.
  • In order to bring justice to this oppressed class and to steer them back to a caring community, equitable wealth redistribution should take place.
  • Who will pay the victim’s medical bills? The community or the rich.

In the social-justice framework, another agenda lurks behind the tragedy: A political/economic cause is piggybacked and leveraged—the cause of economic equality through wealth redistribution. This isn’t about truly helping the victim; it’s about using the victim. Biblical justice, on the other hand, never seeks to dismantle class structures. Evil actions are condemned, but this isn’t specific to particular social strata. Consider the words of Leviticus 19:15, “Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect [be partial to] the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.”

In other words, according to the Bible, true justice means we do not show partiality to someone based on whether he or she is poor or is rich, but rather true justice is based on the standards of righteousness that God has put forth in His Word. God made us different from each other. We are unequal in aptitude, talent, skill, work ethic, priorities, etc. Inevitably, these differences result in some individuals producing and earning far more wealth than others. To the extent that those in the social-justice crowd obsess about eliminating economic inequality, they are at war with the nature of the Creator’s creation.

The Bible doesn’t condemn economic inequality. Jesus, Himself, didn’t condemn economic inequality. Yes, He repeatedly warned about the snares of material wealth and especially the love of money; He exploded the comfortable conventionality of the Pharisaical tendency to regard prosperity as a badge of honor and superiority; He commanded compassion toward the poor and suffering. But He also told his disciples, “ye have the poor always with you” (Matthew 26:11), and in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:24-30), He condemned the failure to productively use one’s God-given talents—whether many or few, exceptional or ordinary—by having a lord take money from the one who had the least and give it to him who had the most, thereby increasing economic inequality.

The Lord’s mission was to redeem us from sin, not to redistribute our property or impose economic equality on us. In fact, Jesus explicitly declined to undermine property rights or preach economic equality act when He told the man who wanted Jesus to tell his brother to share an inheritance with him, “Man, who made me a judge or divider over you” (Luke 12:14).

I must confess that it’s easy to fall into the social-justice way of thinking. My childhood rant over what I perceived to be injustices showed me, in retrospect, the power of an emotional ideal. Yet, if by some twist I had followed up on my self-righteous emotional outburst and had become a social-justice advocate in the true sense of the phrase, a sad irony would have occurred: In the name of “justice,” I would have promoted socially sanctioned theft. All for one collective, and theft for all.

Let us act with compassion, be charitable, and pursue true justice. Let us be wise in our actions, clear in our language, and honest in our motives.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. (Micah 6:8)

Students+dancing+during+Friday+nights+Queer+Prom+event.+

BY C. MITCHELL SHAW

SEE: https://thenewamerican.com/queer-prom-at-cino-catholic-in-name-only-university/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

In late February, DePaul University — an ostensibly Catholic institution in Chicago — hosted its first-ever “Queer Prom.” The event, which was sponsored by DePaul’s Student Government Association (SGA), was open to all students, but the stated purpose of the “Queer Prom,” according to the student newspaper, was to create “a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community.”

In the world of Catholic colleges and universities, there are two types of institutions: authentic Catholic institutions which stand up for Catholic teaching, and CINO (Catholic in Name Only) institutions, such as DePaul. Sadly, the CINOs outnumber the authentic institutions in the academic world.

As part and parcel of the lack of anything resembling genuine Catholicity at DePaul, it is worth pointing out that The DePaulina — the DePaul University student newspaper — is little more than a mouthpiece for the Left. The site is positively crawling with “gender fluidity,” “non-Binary,” “abortion rights,” and other Left-wing issues.

So it is no surprise that The DePaulina went all-in on the “Queer Prom.” The paper described the “Queer Prom” as an event “in close quarters and glitter on nearly everyone’s eyelids” where “several couples dance against each other as single people form dance circles.” The paper goes on to describe how the participants were seen to “sing out the lyrics to every song while standing intensely close to their friends, strangers, and lovers, smiling behind their masks.”

The article quotes SGA senator Riley Reed — who was one of the event’s main organizers — as saying, “I think the amount of diversity we had in the room [and] the number of people that we had here for an event that’s still during Covid times was really great. Reed added, “I think the most beautiful thing I noticed was how many different types of people were here and how people could just let loose and have fun, especially with a lot of the different laws we’ve seen being passed in Florida and Texas. I think that was just really motivating to see all these amazing queer people coming out and celebrating themselves.”

Like similar “Culture War” issues, the Catholic “Queer Prom” scourge is spreading rapidly. And while the LGBTQ+ lobby would have one think such events are all rainbows and smiley faces, that is not how some students at Catholic educational institutions feel about them.

Nicholas Baker, a student at Saint Louis University, a Catholic institution in Missouri, told Campus Reform that his university would be hosting a similar event, sponsored by a group called Rainbow Alliance. Baker went on to tell Campus Reform, “I’m incredibly disappointed to see these supposedly Catholic institutions bow down to the pressure of our secular society,” adding, “As Catholics and Christians, we are supposed to defend truth and confront sin, not celebrate it.”

Baker accused CINO universities of playing a rousing game of “bait and switch,” saying, “These schools dupe their prospective students and donors into believing they’re Catholic, and then pull the rug out from underneath.”

Baker’s assertion is spot on. When one enrolls in a Catholic university, he has the right to expect that university to actually be Catholic. And the teaching of the Catholic Church on this issue is very clear. While The Paulina and the Rainbow Alliance would have one believe that (1) one can be a practicing Catholic and a practicing homosexual (or bi-sexual, or trans-sexual, or whatever comes next in the ever-growing list of sexual perversions) and (2) that the “strict” moral teaching of the Church is one of hostility and hatred toward homosexuals, the facts say otherwise.

As the Reverend Philip Smith — parochial vicar at Most Blessed Sacrament Church and Corpus Christi University Parish in Toledo, Ohio — illustrates very well in his 5 Myths about the Teaching of the Catholic Church on Homosexuality, while the Catholic Church teaches that all “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered,” she also teaches that homosexuals “must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity” and that “Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.” The Church also teaches that “Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.” His observations are taken directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

For Catholic Universities to defy Church teaching and host events celebrating sexual perversion is a scandal. And while this should be a matter for Catholic bishops to handle, this again illustrates that American bishops are remiss in their duties as shepherds, as they have been in dealing with pro-abortion “Catholic” politicians.
