The Pentagon admitted on Thursday that the U.S. military has been monitoring what’s being described as a Chinese “surveillance balloon” hovering in the skies over the United States for days.

“The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now,” Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told NBC News. “We continue to track and monitor it closely.” Officials have confirmed that the balloon belongs to China.

“Once the balloon was detected, the U.S. government acted immediately to protect against the collection of sensitive information,” Ryder said.

“The official said there was a window while the balloon was over Montana Wednesday when they could have taken it down. NORAD sent aircraft — including F-22 Raptors from Nellis Air Force Base and airborne early warning aircraft known as AWACs — but the official would not say whether one of the options was to shoot the balloon out of the sky with a U.S. aircraft,” NBC reported. “The U.S. military flights prompted a ground stop at the airport in Billings, with air traffic controllers citing a ‘special military mission.'”

According to the Montana Free Press, “The Air Force at Malmstrom [Air Force Base] maintains 150 intercontinental ballistic missile silos across its 13,800-square-mile complex in central Montana.”

Biden refused to answer questions shouted at him by reporters Thursday afternoon.

Officials say the balloon flew over the Aleutian Islands and through Canada before settling over the Billings, Mont., area. The balloon is still hovering somewhere over the United States, according to a senior defense official who declined to say where it is now.

Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, Pentagon press secretary, said in a statement that the balloon is “currently traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic and does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground.”

There’s been no mention by officials of the threat of a dirty bomb or an EMP, although there’s been plenty of speculation about that on Twitter.

At least one Twitter user, however, claims that it would be impossible for a balloon to launch an EMP attack:

On Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin convened a meeting of senior military and defense leaders, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, NORTHCOM/NORAD Commander Gen. Glen VanHerck, and other combatant commanders.

Austin was traveling in the Philippines at the time.

The leaders reviewed the threat profile of the Chinese stratospheric balloon and possible response options, and ultimately decided not to recommend taking it out kinetically, because of the risk to safety and security of people on the ground from the possible debris field. Pentagon leaders presented the options to President Joe Biden on Wednesday.

A senior administration official confirmed that Biden had been briefed and received a “strong recommendation” that the balloon not be shot down.

Startlingly, this is not the first time a Chinese spy satellite has breached U.S. airspace, but it’s unusual for one to hover over one specific area for an extended period of time.

“Instances of this activity have been observed over the past several years, including prior to this administration,” a senior administration official told NBC. “We acted immediately to protect against the collection of sensitive information.”

YourBigSky, an ABC and Fox portal, is sharing pictures reportedly showing the spy balloon, although these have not been confirmed by the Pentagon.

These are reportedly videos of the balloon, which has been described as being the size of three large buses on social media:

“Currently we assess that this balloon has limited additive value from an intelligence collection perspective over and above what the PRC can do through other means,” the official said. “Nevertheless we are taking all necessary steps to protect against foreign intelligence collection of sensitive information.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has given the Biden administration’s response to President Xi Jinping and China for their brazenly illegal act of sending a balloon over U.S. territory to spy on the United States.

How do we know it’s a spy balloon? We don’t have to know. We can, should, and must assume that’s what it’s doing.

Blinken, along with his advisors Wynken and Nod, has come up with a brilliant riposte to this Chinese transgression. The United States will deny China the pleasure and honor of hosting the U.S. secretary of state this week as planned.

It’s the well-practiced “comfy chair” response to China. Unfortunately, it’s not likely to impress President Xi. In fact, Xi couldn’t care less if Blinken comes to Beijing or not. He must be watching the diplomatic byplay with amusement.

Blinken and one of his deputies spoke with the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday night, and on Friday morning, he told China’s top foreign policy official, Wang Yi, that the balloon’s course was a violation of sovereignty and “unacceptable,” according to a State Department official.

Oh, dear! Did ya hear that Xi-man? It’s “unacceptable” to fly your aircraft over U.S. territory.

Beijing had sought to defuse tensions with Washington on Friday over the balloon, expressing its regret over the incident, and saying the balloon was for civilian research and had “deviated far from its planned course.”

The explanation from the Chinese Foreign Ministry came after Pentagon officials said on Thursday that they had detected a balloon, “most certainly launched by the People’s Republic of China,” over Montana, which is home to about 150 intercontinental ballistic missile silos.

Just an accident, Mr. President. Really. How were we supposed to know that the bulk of the U.S. ground-based nuclear deterrence force was based in Montana? A completely honest and natural mistake?

The U.S. response should be short and quick. No need to waste a sophisticated missile on the interloping balloon. A couple of rounds from an F-35 Gatling gun would do the trick.

Does anyone not named Biden think that if the roles were reversed — if the U.S. had “accidentally” sent a balloon that flew over China — that Xi would not order the damn thing shot down the minute it crossed Chinese air space?

China isn’t going to start World War III if we treat the balloon as a hostile aircraft and shoot it down. Even if it’s harmless, as the Pentagon believes, it’s here and it’s flouting our air space.

Pentagon Press Secretary U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder and a senior U.S. defense official provided details about the ballon. “First, our best assessment at the moment is that whatever the surveillance payload is on this balloon, it does not create significant value added over and above what the PRC is likely able to collect through things like satellites in Low Earth Orbit,” the official added. “But out of an abundance of caution, we have taken additional mitigation steps. I’m not going to go into what those are.

The experts at The Drive’s The War Zone disagree that there’s no added benefit to floating a balloon above U.S. military installations: “The idea that a terrestrial aerial platform in close proximity and floating for long periods above major military installations and other sensitive locales is not significantly more of a threat than what can be collected by satellites in orbit is a debatable claim.”

This was no “accident,” as a senior defense official told The War Zone.

“Clearly they’re trying to fly over sensitive sites,” the senior defense official said. They added that the balloon’s current anticipated flight path takes it over a number of locations of potential interest, but would not specify what those were. It was noted during the press conference that Montana is home to Malmstrom Air Force Base with well over 100 silos holding nuclear-tipped Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles belonging to the 341st Missile Wing.

Given this information, Joe Biden is doing nothing laudatory, nor is he showing “restraint” by not turning this balloon into a flaming ball of gas. He’s showing incredible weakness. It’s a balloon, damn it.  Blow it out of the sky and tell Mr. Xi that any more “accidental” balloons that drift over American airspace will be dealt with in a similar fashion.

Just shoot the damn thing down already.

 

Funding our own demise? China’s hypersonic missile program being funded by U.S. taxpayers as Beijing uses specialized tech made by firms Pentagon payrolls~China recruiting and paying big bucks to British current and ex-military pilots

(Natural News) Once again, China is making serious military advances thanks to American taxpayers and U.S. technology.

As the Pentagon struggles to develop its own hypersonic missile capability, China’s program is far more advanced — by years — and that is thanks in large part to the use of specialized technology obtained from firms funded by the Department of Defense, an explosive new report claims.

“American firms funded by the Pentagon are selling their technology to Chinese companies involved in hypersonic missiles, according to a new analysis,” reported the UK’s Daily Mail.  “Under U.S. law, the sale of American products to China is banned if there is knowledge or even reasonable suspicion that they will be used for developing a missile.”

However, the Washington Post, in a Monday report, noted that it had uncovered several examples of American firms supplying Chinese companies and operations with equipment and/or software, often through the use of middlemen.

The paper’s report notes:

Military research groups at the leading edge of China’s hypersonics and missile programs — many on a U.S. export blacklist — are purchasing a range of specialized American technology, including products developed by firms that have received millions of dollars in grants and contracts from the Pentagon, a Washington Post investigation has found.

The advanced software products are acquired by these military organizations through private Chinese firms that sell them … despite U.S. export controls designed to prevent sales or resales to foreign entities deemed a threat to U.S. national security, the investigation shows. 

Scientists who work in the sprawling network of Chinese military research academies and the companies that aid them said in interviews that American technology — such as highly specialized aeronautical engineering software — fills critical gaps in domestic technology and is key to advances in Chinese weaponry.

“In this case, the American technology is superior — we can’t do certain things without foreign technology,” noted one Chinese scientist who is currently working in a lab at a research university where testing for hypersonic vehicles is conducted. “There isn’t the same technical foundation.”

The Post went on to report that some U.S. companies whose products are being obtained by Chinese military researchers have also received taxpayer-funded grants from the Pentagon to design and produce cutting-edge tech, according to a federal grant program database. So in effect, the DoD is currently subsidizing China’s military technology advances.

“It’s very disturbing because the bottom line is that technology that can be used for military hypersonics was funded by U.S. taxpayers, through the U.S. government, and ended up in China,” Iain Boyd, director of the Center for National Security Initiatives at the University of Colorado at Boulder, told the Post. His institution engages in computational research on hypersonic missiles.

The Post noted further that its reporters “mapped more than 300 sales since 2019 of U.S.-origin technology to dozens of entities involved in China’s hypersonics or missile programs by analyzing contract solicitation and award documents issued by the groups, as well as speaking to six Chinese scientists working in military labs and universities who described almost unfettered access to American technology with applications in the design and testing of missiles.”

Designing and testing hypersonic weapons is expensive and time-consuming. Solving gravitational, flight and other issues require the means to figure out advanced physics problems related to missile flight. But by utilizing American software, the Chinese scientists said, Beijing’s military has managed to trim years off research and development. Not only that, but the U.S. technology China is obtaining related to hypersonics is also useful in other areas where the two countries compete, such as in commercial aerospace.

The Chinese have been stealing (or buying) U.S. military technology since the days Bill Clinton was roaming around the White House. Were it not for that, Beijing’s military would still be large, but only a fraction as capable as it now is.

China recruiting and paying big bucks to British current and ex-military pilots in ‘threat to UK interests

Western countries continue to crumble in full view of its enemies. When one looks at globalist leaders and their treasonous actions against their own states and people, such as allowing Black Lives Matter to riot and destroy properties; migrants to break the law by barging into sovereign states and living on the taxpayer dime while posing threats to safety; and Islamic supremacists to shut down the freedom of speech by means of intimidation tactics; it is no wonder that loyalty to the state is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. The actions of “British military pilots to teach the Chinese armed forces how to defeat western warplanes and helicopters” is treasonous. Yet Sky News indicates that the “UK appears powerless to stop recruitment schemes,” despite strong words from the UK Ministry of Defence: “We are taking measures to dissuade current and former pilots from being recruited, and we want to avoid any perception by China that our previous silence on this matter is misinterpreted as our acceptance or approval of this activity.”

China will not view this as “acceptance” or “approval.” China will instead view it as just another opportunity provided by a weak Western country that can be easily manipulated for Communist China’s gain, in much the same way that Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic supremacist interests view the weak, woke West.

CNN reports that the “UK government has warned that current and former British military pilots are being lured to China with large compensation packages to train the country’s armed forces” and that there “was no evidence to suggest that any former UK pilots have passed on any information which would violate the Official Secrets Act.” Yet James Heappey, Britain’s Minister of State for the Armed Forces and Veterans, acknowledged that “there is no secret in their attempt to gain access to our secrets, and their recruitment of our pilots in order to understand the capabilities of our air force.” 

Chances are that China, infamous for its espionage, has already extracted plenty of information that would violate the Official Secrets Act. No one seems to be in control in the UK. Note also that the CNN report indicates that “current” British military pilots, not just former ones, “are being lured.”

China has recruited dozens of former British military pilots to teach the Chinese armed forces how to defeat western warplanes and helicopters in a “threat to UK interests”, officials have revealed.

One official said some 30 mainly ex-fast jet but also some helicopter pilots – lured by annual salaries of around £240,000 – are currently in China training pilots for the People’s Liberation Army, in what a defence analyst described as a stunning breach of security.

A retired senior Royal Air Force officer said: “Wow… that is appalling. What were they thinking?”

Beijing is actively trying to hire many more serving and former military pilots and other specialists from across the RAF, the Royal Navy and the British Army as well as personnel from other western nations, the western official said.

The situation is so grave, the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Intelligence service on Tuesday issued a “threat alert” to warn serving and former military personnel against such approaches.

Armed Forces Minister James Heappey told Sky News’ Kay Burley the recruitment of UK pilots to train Chinese counterparts had been a concern within the Ministry of Defence “for a number of years”….

The western official said the recruitment schemes posed “a threat to UK and western interests” and were viewed with “concern and disapproval” by the government.

All British former service personnel, who have accepted jobs to train Chinese military pilots, “are almost certainly enhancing China’s military knowledge and capability,” the official said.

Despite the potential for harm to national security, the UK appears to have been powerless to stop the recruitment schemes or to force the former service personnel, who have accepted jobs in China, to return home – beyond appealing to them.

The official said it was not thought that anyone had breached the Official Secrets Act – which would be a criminal offence.

The Ministry of Defence said it was working to make it much harder for China to poach British military talent.

“We are taking measures to dissuade current and former pilots from being recruited, and we want to avoid any perception by China that our previous silence on this matter is misinterpreted as our acceptance or approval of this activity,” the western official said….

If Democrats have their way, one of the most detested federal agencies—the Internal Revenue Service—will employ more bureaucrats than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined.

Under the Inflation Reduction Act negotiated by Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.), the agency would receive $80 billion in funding to hire as many as 87,000 additional employees. The increase would more than double the size of the IRS workforce, which currently has 78,661 full-time staffers, according to federal data.

The additional IRS funding is integral to the Democrats’ reconciliation package. A Congressional Budget Office analysis found the hiring of new IRS agents would result in more than $200 billion in additional revenue for the federal government over the next decade. More than half of that funding is specifically earmarked for “enforcement,” meaning tax audits and other responsibilities such as “digital asset monitoring.”

That would make the IRS one of the largest federal agencies. The Pentagon houses roughly 27,000 employees, according to the Defense Department, while a human resources fact sheet says the State Department employs just over 77,243 staff. The FBI employs approximately 35,000 people, according to the agency’s website, and Customs and Border Protection says it employs 19,536 Border Patrol agents.

The money allocated to the IRS would increase the agency’s budget by more than 600 percent. In 2021, the IRS received $12.6 billion.

Although Democrats say the hiring of additional IRS agents will help root out tax cheats and other criminals, federal tax revenues have steadily risen over the past several decades. Federal tax receipts are projected to hit $5.7 trillion in 2027, up from just over $4 trillion last year without additional IRS agents….

Inflation is skyrocketing. Gas prices, despite Old Joe Biden’s crowing about minor reductions, are still substantially higher than they were before his presidency was inflicted upon us. America’s global standing is drastically diminished by Biden’s handlers’ catastrophically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, due to the lack of preparedness of a politicized military distracted by wokeism. The Southern border is essentially nonexistent, and due to that as well as to the arrival of tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan migrants, there is an unknowable number of criminals and terrorists in the country who would have been kept out by remotely sane immigration policies. Amid all this and much more, Biden’s handlers are tackling the real problem facing America today: they’re expanding the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to the extent that, according to the Washington Free Beacon, it will soon be larger “than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined.”

Yes, it’s true. The people who run Joe Biden looked around at their dumpster fire of an administration, and the smoking ruin they have wrought, and decided that what America really needs are tens of thousands of new employees for the IRS.

The Free Beacon reported that “under the Inflation Reduction Act negotiated by Sen. Why does the IRS need so many new full-time employees? Why does it need a six-hundred-percent budget increase? It’s all part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to squeeze the American middle class. The Free Beacon notes that according to “a Congressional Budget Office analysis,” the new behemoth IRS “would result in more than $200 billion in additional revenue for the federal government over the next decade.” This is because the new IRS agents would devote substantial energy to squeezing Americans and bleeding them dry: “Democrats say the hiring of additional IRS agents will help root out tax cheats and other criminals,” for “more than half of that funding is specifically earmarked for ‘enforcement,’ meaning tax audits and other responsibilities such as ‘digital asset monitoring.’”

It’s easy to see where all this is going. The new super-IRS will be as corrupt and politicized as the FBI already is, and would use its new staff and money to go after dissenters from the Leftist regime in Washington. The IRS is already one of the most hated and feared of all federal agencies, and one that was already politicized during Barack Obama’s first two terms, when the infamous Lois Lerner began persecuting conservative nonprofit organizations.

Back in the heady days of April 2017, then-House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady and then-Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam asked the Justice Department to reopen a probe into Lerner’s conduct. They wrote: “On April 9, 2014, the House Committee on Ways and Means voted to send a letter to the Department of Justice referring former IRS Exempt Organizations Division Director Lois G. Lerner for criminal prosecution. As indicated in the attached letter, the Committee’s nearly three-year investigation uncovered evidence of willful misconduct on the part of Ms. Lerner. Despite this fact, and for what many believe were purely partisan reasons, the prior Administration refused to review Ms. Lerner’s misconduct.”

Indeed. And that misconduct had to do with the politicization of the IRS: “In particular,” Brady and Roskam continued, “the Committee found that Ms. Lerner used her position to improperly influence IRS action against conservative organizations, denying these groups due process and protection rights under the law. The Committee also found she impeded official investigations by providing misleading statements in response to questions from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. Finally, Lerner risked exposing, and may have actually disclosed, confidential taxpayer information, in apparent violation of Internal Revenue Code section 6103 by using her personal email to conduct official business.”

Nothing was done, of course, and now Lois Lerner’s friends and colleagues are back in power. They’re poised now with their new funding to make her look like an impartial, absolutely honest, trustworthy public official. It’s clear that Biden’s handlers, having already turned the Justice Department into a tool of his agenda, now wants to corrupt the IRS in a similar way, and turn it against those who dare to resist the implementation of his socialist, green agenda. Is there anyone among our elected officials in Washington who has the will to stop them in their ongoing efforts to corrupt the American system to its very core?

(Natural News) There is no American institution that the left-wing extremist Democratic Party won’t tear down and politicize in furtherance of their own power and drive to change our nation and our culture into something our founders wouldn’t recognize, and that includes the U.S. military.

The new National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is massive in the amount of money it spends, but what’s worse is that a sizeable portion of the spending is going towards turning the force into a “woke” shell of itself, far removed from what it was when The Greatest Generation won World War II.

One provision of the NDAA calls for “PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE GENDER ADVISOR WORKFORCE” under Section 539J in what is a blatant attempt to turn both the civilian defense support sector and as much of the military side as possible, into a nightmare of LGBTQ madness.

According to the section:

(a) Plan Required.–The Secretary of Defense shall develop and implement a plan to institutionalize the gender advisor workforce of the Department of Defense responsible for supporting the implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017 (Public Law 115-68; 131 Stat. 1202). (b) Elements.–The plan under subsection (a) shall include:

(1) Plans for the development and management of the gender advisor workforce, including plans for the training, certification, assignments, and career development of the personnel of such workforce. (2) The actions the Secretary of Defense will carry out to elevate, develop, define, and standardize the gender advisor workforce in accordance with recommendation 3.4(a) of the report of the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military titled “Hard Truths and the Duty to Change: Recommendations from the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military” and dated July 2, 2021. (3) Development of or modifications to guidance, policy, professional military education, and doctrine to define and standardize the gender advisor program with a focus on incorporating the principles outlined in the plan of the Department of Defense titled “Women, Peace, and Security Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan” and dated June 2020, or any successor plan. (4) Identification of training and education requirements for members of the Armed Forces and civilian employees of the Department of Defense, including general and flag officers and members of the senior executive service, on the role of the gender advisor workforce and the principles outlined in plan referred to in paragraph (3), or any successor plan.

This insanity comes at a time when Russia is building hypersonic missiles that can defeat all current U.S. missile defenses — ditto for China. Also, Beijing is building a new drone swarm network for space that can be launched from ‘motherships’ and is controlled by artificial intelligence with the objective of disrupting or destroying ‘enemy’ satellites.

Others have begun to notice how ‘woke’ the Pentagon is becoming under the far-left policies of Barack Obama, who is really running Biden’s administration.

“246 years after the U.S. Army was established, today’s Department of Defense appears to be distracted from its national defense mission. Media commentators and service members alike have lamented the military’s drift toward becoming a testing ground for social policy experimentation,” Mike Berry, general counsel at First Liberty Institute and a former active duty U.S. Marine Corps officer, wrote recently.

He added: “As perhaps the only conservative participant on the Pentagon’s newly formed Countering Extremism Working Group, I can confirm the Pentagon’s full embrace of ‘wokeism.'”

Mind you, ‘extremism’ wasn’t a problem in the U.S. military prior to Joe Biden’s ‘victory.’ But suddenly, not only is the military ‘rife’ with such members, the Pentagon is spending precious tax dollars not on building a better missile defense but on an “Office of Countering Extremism” and, of course, transgender priorities.

This is worse than madness, this is completely intentional: The Biden regime is trying to rid the conservative-leaning, patriotic members of today’s military (a.k.a. “extremists”) and replace them with propagandized left-wing drones who will crush political dissent on behalf of the regime.

(Natural News) The longer they remain in control of our government, the closer Democrats move our country toward a full-blown dictatorship, as evidenced by a provision added to the annual Pentagon spending bill by a top Democrat.

The provision, offered by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), head of the House Intelligence Committee, and approved by the Democrat majority, effectively removes all congressional oversight of many U.S. military operations on American soil.

According to USSA News, the amendment was first offered in 2020 after then-President Donald Trump threatened to deploy active-duty U.S. troops throughout the country to quell Black Lives Matter violence and rioting. While the House passed the amendment, it was eliminated during House-Senate reconciliation negotiations regarding the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

But now, Republicans claim that Schiff wants the measure added to the current NDAA so as to prevent proper congressional oversight of military operations on U.S. soil they are certain will be directed mostly at their conservative, Trump-supporting voters, under the false guise of “combatting domestic terrorism.”

USSA News further speculates:

If signed into law, the amendment could impact the resolution of the Jan. 6th hearings and Republicans’ planned investigation into the Biden Administration’s mishandling of the migrant crisis at the southern border. 

“This un-American amendment will fundamentally and irreparably erode Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibility,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) argued. “Democrats led by Adam Schiff are attempting to cover up for the national security crises of the weakest commander in chief in U.S. history.”

“I’m very concerned about it, and Republicans need to fight back against it in the House and Senate to make sure it doesn’t pass,” noted Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.).“Democrats know we are going to take back the majority and are already trying to tie our hands when we do.”

But Lauren French, a spokeswoman for Schiff, claimed that Republicans were mischaracterizing the amendment, but given that Schiff is one of the most prolific liars in Congress — having pushed the falsehood that Trump is a Moscow stooge who ‘stole’ the 2016 election — her words are practically meaningless.

“The measure prevents presidents, of any party, from unlawfully using our nation’s armed forces in a domestic law enforcement capacity against Americans exercising their constitutionally protected rights,” said French. “This is something both parties should support…This amendment deters violations of the law by prohibiting the use of unlawfully obtained evidence by the government in a court or other legal proceeding.”

Schiff’s amendment also gained support from the Brennan Center for Justice, which said it would “establish clear consequences to deter the government” from unlawfully deploying the U.S. military during certain domestic situations while also preventing the suppression of evidence during such incidents, USSA News noted further.

The outlet adds an assessment of its own regarding the amendment.

“This is an irrational development. Congressional oversight is an integral part of the checks and balances system that keeps a government balanced. Reducing oversight means that presidential power could go unchecked,” the site’s analysis said. “And while we certainly do not want to encourage military deployment during law enforcement situations, removing oversight is just plain stupid.”

In reality, deploying the military domestically is only constitutional under very limited circumstances. The president is the commander-in-chief and has the authority to order such deployments — again, under very limited circumstances including instances of invasion and rebellion — and would still retain control over those forces. But congressional oversight is also key to ensuring that presidents do not engage in Executive Branch overreach, and frankly, with Barack Obama essentially running the Biden regime in a third term, the last thing any American should want is a far-left potential dictator with unfettered power to go after political opponents using the full force of the U.S. military.

Schiff can’t be trusted. Republicans are exactly right to be wary.

(Natural News) We have received word that the Pentagon (Pentagram) will not be allowing any new abortion laws as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization to stand.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III issued a statement in response to the SCOTUS decision basically stating that abortion will remain legal, regardless of what the highest court in the land thinks about it.

“Nothing is more important to me or to this Department than the health and well-being of our Service members, the civilian workforce, and DoD families,” Austin said.

“I am committed to taking care of our people and ensuring the readiness and resilience of our Force,” he added.

“The Department is examining this decision closely and evaluating our policies to ensure we continue to provide seamless access to reproductive health care as permitted by federal law.”

According to Politico, the Department of Defense (DoD) does not yet have any policy to announce that would accommodate female service members who want to murder their babies but currently live in states where the gruesome practice is now illegal.

“Female troops seeking the procedure already face steep hurdles to getting the care they need: They cannot get abortions at military medical facilities, and federal law also prevents troops from using their Tricare health insurance to cover the cost of the procedures at private facilities, unless the life of the mother is at risk due to the Hyde Amendment,” Politico reported.

Austin’s use of the word “continue” to describe the seamless access to abortion he says will remain in the military points to the fact that large factions of American institutions are planning to flat-out disobey and rebel against the court ruling.

Both the aforementioned ruling and the overturning of Roe v. Wade represent a major blow to the baby murder industry, which Leftist women rely on as a key component of their identity.

The assumption, based on the DoD and the Pentagon statement is that “reproductive health care,” as they are erroneously calling it, will continue to be provided in violation of the Supreme Court rulings.

Someone on Twitter asked if any of this is actually legal, to which the simple answer is: no, it is not legal. But disregarding the law no longer seems to come with any consequences, at least not for Leftists who want to continue living in utter sin and depravity without consequences.

“The feds don’t have to acknowledge state laws,” suggested another. “Federal offices and such operate under federal jurisdiction, not state jurisdiction. State governments can’t go after federal employees and such operating on federal land.”

Another called this an insurrection against SCOTUS, which is exactly what it is – and it is being sanctioned by the very same Biden regime that claims the Jan. 6, 2021, incident was the worst thing to ever happen in America.

“So then what’s the point of the Supreme Court?” asked another – great question.

Perhaps it is time to just shut the government down completely until we can get to the bottom of this, said someone else, perhaps partially tongue-in-cheek but also making a great point about how this so-called government causes more harm than good, much like the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines.”

The U.S. Army has come a long, long way from “Be All That You Can Be” — an odd and unsettling new recruitment video that touts Army psyops, proclaims “All the world’s a stage,” and asks, “Who’s pulling the strings?” Apparently, if this video is to be believed, shadowy forces in the Army are. But it’s not at all clear what exactly the video is intended to accomplish, or what point it is trying to make.

The video, which is entitled “Ghosts in the Machine", is apparently a production of Fort Bragg’s 4th Psychological Operations Group-Airborne, which posted it on YouTube. It starts out like a movie trailer (actually, it is very much like a movie trailer throughout), leading off with a quote from Sun Tzu in white type on a black field: “If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.”

Is that some reference to the weakest president in U.S. history, Old Joe Biden, and to his opponent in the Kremlin? Are we supposed to be reassured that Biden’s manifest weakness is all part of some elaborate psy-op designed to lull America’s enemies into complacency? Your guess is as good as mine. The whole video is gnomic, elusive, and determinedly obscure as if the Army were trying to appeal to millennial dweebs who spend their time reading dark graphic novels and figuring out ways to hack into corporate computer systems.

And maybe they are. The Charlotte Observer points out that “the video, posted May 2, starts innocently, with benign clips of cartoons and images of empty city streets and subways. But the vibe grows increasingly disturbing, with footage of a shadowy man, anxious stares at dark skies, violent riot scenes, and soldiers being deployed. ‘Have you ever wondered who’s pulling the strings?’ the video asks. ‘You’ll find us in the shadows at the tip of the spear. … Anything we touch is a weapon. We can deceive, persuade, change, influence, and inspire. We come in many forms. We are everywhere.’” So is the Army now boasting about lying to the American people and spreading propaganda in order to influence people into changing their views? Is that really a good look in this age of the Disinformation Governance Board and overwhelming media manipulation?

The video certainly gives the impression that the Army is proud of its power to “deceive, persuade, change, influence, inspire.” The Observer notes that “the 4th Psychological Operations Group, also known as PSYOP, defines itself as ‘Masters of Influence’ and practitioners of ‘information warfare,’ according to its website. That means the mere act of people debating its video is a sign of success.” The Group states: “We conduct influence activities to target psychological vulnerabilities and create or intensify fissures, confusion, and doubt in adversary organizations. We use all available means of dissemination – from sensitive and high tech to low-tech to no-tech, and methods from overt, to clandestine, to deception.”

But why is the 4th Psychological Operations Group telling us all this? If it really does all this, isn’t it more effective if it remains in the shadows? Why is it coming out now and boasting about its alleged activities and powers in front of the world? In a lengthy attempt to decipher all the symbolism in the video and discern its actual point, The Pipeline noted: “Here’s the odd thing — clandestine Army units like this DON’T make recruiting material, because that material brings unwanted attention. Have you ever seen an official Delta Force recruiting video? Exactly.”

But if it isn’t really a recruitment video, then what is it? It is certainly an announcement of this group’s presence, and a warning, as if we needed another at this point, that we cannot uncritically accept all that is reported and presented as fact.

That much is axiomatic, and then adding to the oddity of the whole thing is the fact that Col. Chris Stangle, who is the commander of the 4th Psychological Operations Group, on Friday gave the military website Task & Purpose a full explanation. He said that “the video was created in-house, both as a recruitment effort but also to literally show people what they can do — part of psychological operations is creating persuasive media. Stangle said that the artist behind the video tailored it a bit after the iconic horror film JAWS, where the filmmakers showed restraint in actually showing the shark. Instead, viewers knew it was lurking just below the surface.”

Stangle added: “Drawing on this approach, we kind of sought to create a piece that doesn’t show what a PSYOP soldier does necessarily because it’s so complicated and there’s so much about it — quite honestly. It’s just not incredibly sexy — but what it feels like to do our craft when we’re successful. And we think that kind of allows the audience to immerse into what our world is, and what our craft is.” Okay, but that’s still about as clear as mud as to what the video is all about and why the psyops unit was trying to say it. As the video says, “Anything we touch is a weapon.” Duly noted.

U.S. government conducted biological experiments on allied soldiers in Ukraine and Georgia, documents show

(Natural News) The federal government says it is beefing up its military presence in Eastern Europe in order to “protect its allies against Russia.” However, internal documents show that what American “protection” actually means in practical terms is to conduct horrific biological experiments on allied troops.

It has been revealed that the Pentagon exposed about 4,400 Ukrainian soldiers and 1,000 Georgian soldiers to biological experiments with potentially lethal outcomes. According to leaked documents, all volunteer deaths were to be reported within 24 hours in Ukraine and 48 hours in Georgia.

“Both countries are considered the most loyal U.S. partners in the region with a number of Pentagon programs being implemented in their territory,” writes Bulgarian investigative journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva, as relayed by Arms Watch.

“One of them is the $2.5 billion Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Biological engagement program which includes research on bio-agents, deadly viruses and antibiotic-resistant bacteria being studied on the local population.”

The Pentagon’s “Project GG-21,” as it was code-named, is set to last for five years with a possible three-year extension. The project’s description explains that it involves spreading “arthropod-borne and zoonotic infections among military personnel in Georgia.”

Blood samples were collected from 1,000 military recruits at the time of their military registration and physical exam at the Georgian military hospital in Gori. The samples were then tested for antibodies against the following 14 pathogens:

Bacillus anthracis
Brucella
CCHF virus
Coxiella burnetii
Francisella tularensis
Hantavirus
Rickettsia species
TBE virus
Bartonella species
Borrelia species
Ehlrichia species
Leptospira species
Salmonella typhi
WNV

The 10 ml blood draw samples are to be stored indefinitely at the NCDC (Lugar Center) or USAMRU-G, and aliquots could be sent to the WRAIR (Walter Reed Army Institute of Research) headquarters in the United States for future research.

“Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) is the largest biomedical research facility administered by the U.S. Department of Defense,” explains Arms Watch. “The results of the blood testing will not be provided to the study participants.”

In conducting these heinous experiments, special bilateral agreements were formed to protect the U.S. deep state from all liability

The Lugar Center has become infamous for controversial activities, including laboratory incidents and scandals involving U.S.-based drug giant Gilead, which ran a hepatitis C experimentation program in Georgia that resulted in at least 248 patient deaths.

The Georgian GG-21 project is funded by the Pentagon’s DTRA and implemented by American military scientists from a special U.S. Army unit code-named USAMRU-G, which operates in the Lugar Center.

“They have been given diplomatic immunity in Georgia to research bacteria, viruses and toxins without being diplomats,” reports indicate. “This unit is subordinate to the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR).”

“Documents obtained from the U.S. Federal contracts registry show that USAMRU-G is expanding its activities to other U.S. allies in the region and is ‘establishing expeditionary capabilities’ in Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Latvia, and any future locations. The next USAMRU-G project involving biological tests on soldiers is due to start in March of this year at the Bulgarian Military Hospital in Sofia.”

The Ukrainian project was similarly code-named as UP-8 and involved the spread of the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) virus and various hantaviruses. It began in 2017 and was extended a few times until 2020.

For that research, blood samples were collected from 4,400 healthy soldiers in Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa, and Kyiv. Of these, 4,000 samples were tested for antibodies against hantaviruses and the remaining 400 for antibodies against CCHF.

Like the Georgian project, the Ukrainian one revealed no details other than to report all deaths within 24 hours.

As of July 30, 2020, DTRA had allocated $80 million for biological research in Ukraine. The U.S.-based Black & Veatch Special Projects Corporation was tasked with running the program there.

Another DTRA contractor operating in Ukraine is CH2M Hill was awarded a special $22.8 million contract from 2020-2023 to reconstruct and outfit with equipment from two biolaboratories: the State Scientific Research Institute of Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary-Sanitary Expertise (Kyiv ILD) and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Regional Diagnostic Laboratory (Odesa RDL).

Both the Georgia and the Ukraine projects fall under the protection of special bilateral agreements that shield the U.S. government, its personnel, contractors, and contractors’ personnel from liability for “damage to property,” as well as “death or injury to any persons in Georgia and Ukraine, arising out of activities under this Agreement.”

“If DTRA-sponsored scientists cause deaths or injuries to the local population they cannot be held to account,” Gaytandzhieva writes.

“Furthermore, according to the US-Ukraine Agreement, claims by third parties for deaths and injuries in Ukraine, arising out of the acts or omissions of any employees of the United States related to work under this Agreement, shall be the responsibility of Ukraine.”

These revelations make the situation in Ukraine a whole lot more complex than just “Vladimir Putin is a madman,” which is what the Western media wants everyone to think.

Ukraine, Georgia, and the other countries where the Pentagon has been operating biolabs and conducting biological experiments on soldiers are hotbeds of biological terrorism being perpetrated by the U.S. government. The United States, in other words, is a terroristic threat.

“What is happening is terrible!” wrote someone in response to Gaytandzhieva’s work. “These studies and the data from the investigation of our compatriot must reach all people in Eastern Europe!”

Another thanked Gaytandzhieva for telling the truth instead of pushing Western propaganda.

“The available documents confirm numerous cases of the transfer of biological samples of Ukrainian citizens abroad,” Kirillov stated. “With a high degree of probability, we can say that one of the tasks of the United States and its allies is the creation of bioagents that can selectively affect various ethnic groups of the population.”

As we reported, the Pentagon has been operating biolabs all over the world, including in Ukraine.

According to Kirillov, some 350 cryo containers filled with blood serum samples were transferred from the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to a reference laboratory for infectious diseases at Australia’s Doherty Institute. This was done under the pretext of identifying antibody titers.

The Russian Defense Ministry obtained documents confirming that this high-risk biological research in Ukraine is, in fact, being led by the United States. Kirillov said the documents show that the U.S. Department of Defense funded this research.

Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland confirms existence of Ukrainian biolabs

In a recent testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland admitted that these biolabs exist, though she made sure to call them “research” facilities, never once mentioning the word bioweapons.

Kirillov said that Nuland did, however, “indirectly” confirm that the U.S. has, in fact, been participating in Ukrainian biological research when she stated that Washington, D.C., is “concerned” about Russia taking over these biolabs.

“The biological research funded by the US in Ukraine, according to Kirillov, included the projects ‘UP-2, UP-9, UP-10, aimed at studying the pathogens of anthrax and African swine fever,'” reported InfoWars.

“The UP-4 project, in particular, is said to have been in development in laboratories in Kyiv, Kharkov, and Odessa, and was scheduled until 2020.”

Kirillov also said that the Pentagon has shown interest in insect vectors that are capable of spreading dangerous infectious diseases. More than 140 containers filled with ectoparasites from bats, including fleas and ticks, were captured and transferred from the biological laboratory in Kharkov, he noted.

“According to the available information, the Americans have already managed to evacuate most of the documentation from the laboratories in Kyiv, Kharkov, and Odessa, including databases, biomaterials, and equipment to the Lvov Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene and to the American Consulate in Lvov,” Kirillov added.

“It is possible that part of the collection will be moved to Poland.”

Biolabs in Georgia, Kirillov added, are also working on projects involving bats as carriers of bioweapons. This is a stark similarity to what was happening at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China, which is believed to be where the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) originated.

Russian Major General Igor Konashenkov expressed similar concerns about the Ukrainian biolabs, warning that U.S.-funded projects there involve the use of bat coronaviruses that can be spread via wild birds that migrate between Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, meanwhile, denied all of this, claiming that it is “preposterous.”

“It’s the kind of disinformation operation we’ve seen repeatedly from the Russians over the years in Ukraine and in other countries, which have been debunked, and as an example of the types of false pretexts we have been warning the Russians would invent.”

(Natural News) It is an undeniable fact that Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” have triggered a massive uptick in illnesses and injuries throughout America’s armed forces, and all the Pentagon can do is lie about it.

Rather than show concern for the brave men and women who are risking their lives in our country’s military, the Pentagon is now fudging the numbers in earlier iterations of its Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) health surveillance system to make the 2021 data appear less drastic.

As we reported, the DMED shows astounding increases in everything from myocarditis to brain injuries to cancer among servicemen who got jabbed for the Fauci Flu.

The numbers are so shocking that there is simply no way to spin them, which is why the Pentagon decided to add fake injuries and illnesses to previous years’ data.

“There is undoubtedly a public health and national security crisis in the military, and the Pentagon’s reaction only seems to be concerned with exonerating the vaccine, not fixing its own alleged problem,” reported The Blaze.

“It’s now certain that the military’s health surveillance system – DMED – showed a massive increase in sickness and injury diagnoses in 2021 over previous years, particularly in the neurological, cardiovascular, oncological, and reproductive health categories.”

Pentagon says spike in covid jab injuries, deaths is just a “glitch”

In a terse and rather cryptic statement to PolitiFact, the American military claimed that the DMED data from prior years represents only a “fraction” of the true data, the suggestion being that vaccine injuries were more common in the past than the data suggests.

As for the 2021 data, a Pentagon spokesman further claimed that a “glitch in the database” resulted in far more injuries and deaths being reported than actually occurred.

These are convenient, though nonsensical, excuses. They far too easily explain away two different alleged data anomalies that supposedly occurred at the very same time to falsely convey that the jabs are unsafe and ineffective.

Since the Pentagon wants everyone to believe that the jabs are safe and effective, it has no other choice but to lie to the American public. And since the general population is now so dumbed down, millions of people will not even think twice about the unlikelihood that what the Pentagon is saying is in any way true.

It turns out that the Pentagon is now adding random numbers to the DMED codes for the years 2016 through 2020. Two whistleblowers told The Blaze‘s Daniel Horowitz that the Pentagon is actively tampering with the data to push a false narrative.

“I’m told by Renz and two of the whistleblowers that throughout the past week, they have queried the same data again, and in most of the ICD categories, they have found that the numbers from 2016 through 2020 were ‘increased’ exponentially to look as though 2021 was not an abnormal year,” Horowitz writes.

“This has been done without any transparency, any press release, any statement of narrative, and sloppily in a way that makes the already unbelievable narrative simply impossible to believe.”

What makes the Pentagon’s claims even more unbelievable is the fact that the military-industrial complex entity supposedly found these anomalies and glitches at the exact same time that attorney Thomas Renz discovered them – how convenient!

“A five-year mistake fixed overnight!” Horowitz joked about how stupid the Pentagon apparently believes that Americans are to fall for this obvious sleight-of-hand.

“They are only concerned with downplaying any potential culpability of the vaccine, not explaining how they were flying blind, according to their official narrative, on such an important endeavor for so many years.”

(Natural News) The United States military’s official database for vaccine adverse events is overflowing with evidence to show a massive uptick in serious illnesses due to Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) injections.

The Defense Medical Epidemiology Database, or DMED for short, clearly reveals a spike in major diseases beginning in 2021 right after Donald Trump unveiled the jabs under Operation Warp Speed.

The Department of Defense (DoD), which maintains DMED, claims that this sudden increase in post-injection illnesses is just a coincidental “error” that has now been “corrected,” but this is a highly unlikely story.

The truth is that this information was never supposed to get out in the first place, which is why the corporate-controlled media has been instructed not to touch the DMED story at all.

It is getting out there, though, and it is damning. Sickness in the military is on the rise like perhaps never before, and the only thing that has changed is that servicemen are now being forced to take these experimental shots.

On February 1, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin highlighting the latest DMED data, which clearly shows that the shots are anything but “safe and effective.”

“Essentially, it is the official database of the 1.4M active duty DoD servicemen,” explains Steve Kirsch on his Substack.

DMED is about as reliable as it gets

Kirsch says that there are 14 reasons why this data is very important, one of them being that the DMED database is heavily verified for accuracy since it is not a self-reported database.

“Unlike VAERS, this database cannot be dismissed using hand-waving arguments,” Kirsch writes.

“It is a fully reported database where all the reports are from healthcare providers. In short, if the vaccines are safe, the DMED data is hard to explain. For example, you can’t pin the rise in events in 2021 on COVID since total hospital event rates declined in 2020 (relative to 2019) in both the original and corrected results.”

Another thing is the fact that the increases demonstrated in DMED are absolute rather than relative. Kirsch explains it like this:

“In VAERS, we’ll often compare a baseline rate of an event in prior years with the current year to look for a signal. This is a ‘differential signal’ so high values are possible. For example, the reported VAERS rate for pulmonary embolism is 3 per year. Say it goes to 300 per year, a 100X jump. But if the baseline rates of PE are 1000, then on an absolute basis, this is just a 0.3X increase. So large absolute number jumps are very significant. This is exactly what we have in the DMED database: very large absolute jumps.”

Another relevant factor is that all of the symptoms with notable increases in the DMED match the data in VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). VAERS is almost a type of peer review for the DMED, affirming its data points.

Perhaps the most damning aspect of the DMED data is that the DoD is in a panic about its revelations. The government has been working overtime to keep the whole thing contained, but the cat is already out of the bag.

“The military can’t effectively refute it,” Kirsch says. “After being confronted with the data, they now claim the 2016 to 2020 data was wrong. The problem is their new numbers are nonsensical.”

The government claims that upwards of 93 percent of the military is now vaccinated, though Kirsch estimates that the true number is 85 percent. In either case, the jabs are not treating our servicemen well.

On Jan. 3, 2022, a group of Navy Seals declining to take the COVID-19 vaccine due to religious reasons, received protection in the form of a preliminary injunction from a federal court in the Northern District of Texas Fort Worth.1 2

The COVID vaccine mandate instituted by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requires that all U.S. military personnel receive the COVID vaccine by Dec. 14, 2021.3 While religious exemptions are permitted, the Navy has failed to approve even a single one of the 3,247 requests for a religious exemption.4

Navy Seals Argue COVID Vaccine Mandate Violates Free Exercise of Religion Clause of U.S. Constitution and Religious Freedom Restoration Act

In response, 35 Navy Seals represented by the First Liberty Institute filed a lawsuit against President Joe Biden alleging that they faced disciplinary repercussions for filing a religious exemption, including being kept apart from vaccinated colleagues as well as dismissals.5 The Navy Seals Complaint argues that that the Navy violated the Free Exercise of Religion Clause of the Constitution and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) when no action was taken on their religious exemption requests.6

U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor sided with the Navy Seals and ruled against the Biden administration’s COVID vaccine mandate. He issued a preliminary injunction blocking the Navy from punishing the Navy Seals who had filed religious exemption. The injunction barred the Navy from declaring the unvaccinated Navy Seals non-deployable or disqualified from Special Operations.7

The Court pointed out that not only did the Navy fail to grant a single exemption for COVID vaccines, but it has not approved any religious exemption for any vaccine at all over the past seven years.8 The judge stated that even if the religious exemptions were granted, the Navy said the Seals would be considered, “medically disqualified” and would be forever prevented from deployment and from receiving bonuses and incentive pay – even though Navy personnel with medical vaccine exemptions do not face the same severe consequences.

Some Navy Seals were informed that they would lose their Seal Tridents if they were granted a religious exemption to vaccination or even if they just applied for one.9

Court Applied Strict Scrutiny Analysis to Justify Injunction

The Court came to the same conclusion on both the RFRA and the First Amendment claims. Because the Navy treated medical exemptions differently than religious exemptions, the court applied strict scrutiny analysis and found that the Navy did not have, “a compelling interest justifying the substantial burden on Plaintiff’s religious beliefs.”10

Once a substantial burden to their religious beliefs was established by Plaintiffs, the Defendants must then show that the burden furthers a compelling interest and that they are using the least restrictive means to further that interest.  The Judge explained that it is not enough for the Defendants to show their policy furthers a broad compelling interest such as “national security”, but rather they must show a compelling interest in vaccinating the 35 individual Plaintiffs in this matter.

With a 99.4 percent vaccination rate, the Court concluded that the Defendants do not have a compelling interest in vaccinating the Plaintiffs in this case. The Court further stressed that the fact that unvaccinated Navy personnel with medical exemptions are still eligible for deployment belies the compelling nature of the vaccinations policy. Since the Plaintiff’s policy was deemed not to be compelling, the Court did not need to address whether it used the least restrictive means before issuing an injunction.11

The Court concluded that the Plaintiffs suffered irreparable harm from the vaccine mandate.

Plaintiffs have suffered the more serious injury of “infringement of their religious liberty rights under RFRA and the First Amendment . . . .” Pls.’ Br. 28, ECF No. 16. The crisis of conscience imposed by the mandate is itself an irreparable harm. See BST Holdings, 17 F.4th at 618; Sambrano v. United Airlines, 19 F.4th 839, 842 (5th Cir. 2021) (Ho, J., dissenting) (citing Sampson v. Murray, 415 U.S. 61, 92 n.68 (1974)). “The loss of First Amendment freedoms, for even minimal periods of time, unquestionably constitutes irreparable injury.” Elrod, 427 U.S. at 373 (plurality opinion).12 (emphasis added)

“There is no COVID-19 exception to the First Amendment. There is no military exclusion from our Constitution.”

Finally, the Court found that that balance of hardships favors the Plaintiffs because their loss of liberty outweighs the Defendant’s interest in vaccinating the 35 Navy Seals and that it was not against the public interest to issue a preliminary injunction.

Judge O’Connor stated:

The Navy servicemembers in this case seek to vindicate the very freedoms they have sacrificed so much to protect. The COVID-19 pandemic provides the government no license to abrogate those freedoms. There is no COVID-19 exception to the First Amendment. There is no military exclusion from our Constitution.13

As of Dec. 29, 2021, over a month after the vaccine mandate deadline passed, more than 8,000 Navy service members, 5,328 active duty and 3,002 Ready Reserve, have not received COVID vaccines.14

There are several other lawsuits pending against the Biden administration, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro, and DoD that are attempting to block the COVID vaccine mandate.15

U.S. set to lose next war against China, Russia hypersonic missiles; Pentagon said to be “several years behind” both countries

(Natural News) If Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to send in his 100,000 or so troops massed on the border of Ukraine at any point in the near future following his video chat with our feeble, hapless ‘leader,’ Joe Biden earlier this week, there won’t be much the United States or even NATO can do about it.

For one, there is no political will in Europe to fight a third world war in a century, especially with a massive nuclear-armed enemy. For another, the United States, as advanced as our military is, lacks a key weapon that Russia is said to have: Nuclear-armed hypersonic missiles that can travel five-to-seven times the speed of sound.

Oh, and ditto for China, should Beijing decide to launch an attack on Taiwan to ‘reunify’ the island democracy with the mainland (never mind that the Chinese nationalists escaped there post-World War II to form their own country after losing a civil war to the Communists).

Bloomberg News reports:

They’re so fast, their speed can change the surrounding air molecules. They can carry a nuclear warhead, fly low and be hard to detect. Hypersonic weapons are at the center of escalating competition between the U.S. and China. In an appearance on Bloomberg TV Oct. 27, General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, likened China’s suspected tests of a hypersonic weapons system this summer to a “Sputnik moment,” a reference to the Soviet Union’s pioneering launch of a satellite in 1957, giving it an early lead in the space race and shocking the U.S.

The U.S. and Israel are believed to have the world’s most advanced missile defense systems, but they are not nimble or fast enough to pick off hypersonic weapons, so our national security is definitely at risk.

“Unlike ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons don’t follow a predetermined, arched trajectory and can maneuver on the way to their destination, according to the Congressional Research Service,” Bloomberg adds. “The term ‘hypersonic’ describes any speed faster than five times that of sound, which is roughly 760 miles (1,220 kilometers) per hour at sea level, meaning these weapons can travel at least 3,800 miles per hour.”

Hypersonic weapons come in the form of glide vehicles and cruise missiles, and thus far, most of the focus is on the former. They are launched from a rocket before they then glide to their target. These are easier to build for hypersonic speeds than missiles, which are equipped with engines called scramjets — they utilize oxygen from the air to give them thrust during flight, which allows for steady cruise altitudes and speeds.

“China, the U.S., and Russia have the most advanced capabilities, and several other countries are investigating the technology, including India, Japan, Australia, France, Germany and North Korea, which claims to have tested a hypersonic missile,” Bloomberg News reported, adding:

— Russia: In 2019, Russian media reported that the Avangard glide vehicle that is launched from an ICBM and can carry a nuclear payload was deployed for combat duty. Meanwhile, “Tsirkon is a ship-launched cruise missile said to be capable of striking both ground and naval targets,” Bloomberg reported.

— China: The Financial Times reported that Beijing’s military conducted two hypersonic glide vehicle tests over the summer but the ChiCom government has denied it. Nevertheless, China’s DF-17 and DF-41 missiles can or have been altered to carry such vehicles, including one that can orbit the earth with a nuclear weapon as its payload. China is also said to have deployed its system as well.

— United States: While we were chasing down lightly armed militants in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past two decades, our enemies were developing weapon systems for ‘big boy’ combat — namely, hypersonic weapons. “The U.S.: Gregory Hayes, chief executive officer of U.S. defense contractor Raytheon Technologies Corp., told Bloomberg TV Oct. 26 that the U.S. is ‘at least several years behind’ China in hypersonic technology despite significant investment,” Bloomberg reported.

The outlet describes the significance of hypersonics:

They are very difficult to counter using existing defenses. U.S. officials say that American hypersonic weapons, unlike those being developed in China and Russia, are being designed to carry conventional rather than nuclear weapons. But this provides scant reassurance to potential U.S. adversaries, who would have no way of knowing whether such a weapon in fact carried a nuclear warhead while it was in flight. The pursuit of these systems by China and Russia reflects a concern that U.S. hypersonic weapons could enable America to conduct a preemptive, decapitating strike on their nuclear arsenals and supporting infrastructure. U.S. missile defense deployments could then limit their ability to conduct a retaliatory strike against the U.S.

A tired, decrepit president coupled with a military that lacks the most cutting-edge weaponry for the first time since the Cold War equals a very unstable, at-risk world.

Pentagon threatens to “decertify” the Oklahoma National Guard if commander doesn’t reverse his ban on COVID vaccine mandate

(Natural News) The Defense Department is apparently threatening to sort of ‘decertify’ the Oklahoma National Guard after its commander, on approval of the state commander-in-chief, Gov. Kenny Stitt, issued an order instructing his troops they will not be required to comply with Joe Biden’s unconstitutional COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The Oklahoman on Nov. 12 provided some background on the situation:

In one of his first acts as the head of the Oklahoma National Guard, new Adjutant General Thomas Mancino updated the guard’s COVID-19 vaccine policy. 

In a memo issued Thursday, Mancino ordered that no members of the Oklahoma National Guard be required to take a COVID-19 vaccine. 

The memo obtained by The Oklahoman also notes “no negative administrative or legal action will be taken” against guard members who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine.

The memo came just one day after Gov. Kevin Stitt appointed Mancino to replace former Adjutant General Michael Thompson, who had served in that role since 2017. 

“The clarified policy on COVID vaccinations for Oklahoma Army and Air National Guardsmen reflects the governor’s ability to assert his command authority over the men and women of the Oklahoma National Guard while they are within the state’s borders,” Lt. Col. Geoff Legler, a spokesman for the Oklahoma Guard, told the paper.

“At a time when our adversaries continue to increase their quantitative and qualitative advantage against our forces, we should seek to ensure that no policy, even unintentionally, hinders military readiness,” Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, wrote to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. He added that the mandate should be immediately revoked so as to not cause “irrevocable damage to our national security.”

Of course, the regime doesn’t like to be told ‘no,’ so the Pentagon has dug in its heels, under the guise of the mindless commander-in-chief in the Oval Office, Joe Biden.

“It is a lawful order for National Guardsmen to receive the Covid vaccine. It is a lawful order,” Defense Department press secretary John Kirby stated, according to Politico.

“Refusing to do that, absent an approved exemption, puts them in the same potential [for disciplinary action] as active-duty members who refuse the vaccine,” Kirby added.

He noted further that “the secretary of Defense has the authority to require these vaccines for all members of the force, including the National Guard … even in a Title 32 status. Because when they’re called up for their monthly training, they’re still federally funded.”

The mood in Oklahoma may be catching, according to the Washington Post:

The extraordinary move by Stitt has prompted interest among multiple governors and National Guard commanders to explore similar policies in their states, Oklahoma officials said, while leaving the Biden administration with little recourse but to hold individual service members accountable for refusing lawful orders that their immediate chain of command has disavowed.

Mancino defended his order, however.

“I did not initiate a civilian-military crisis just because I thought it was cool, right?” Mancino told several members of the Oklahoma National Guard in Oklahoma City, noting that by state law and military law he is bound to obey the order of the governor.

Now, however, the Pentagon may be realizing it is running out of options to actually force the members of the Oklahoma Guard to comply, according to a social media post this week.

“BREAKING: Defense official reportedly says, if the Oklahoma National Guard doesn’t comply with COVID vaccine requirements, they will no longer be ‘maintaining national recognition,’ thus, the state will no longer have a Nat Guard, but rather a militia – VOA’s Pentagon correspondent,” the post from Insider Paper, which is a blue-check verified account, noted.

In other words, the Oklahoma National Guard will revert back to the status it and the other state Guard units held for decades until they became sort of, kind of, federalized last century.

To which the state should respond, “So what?”

When the Cowardly Command the Courageous

The Biden administration’s latest act of cowardice in the face of Taliban terror is its assertion that Americans, special immigrant visa (SIV) holders, and Afghan allies left behind in Afghanistan will be led out of the  “diplomatically,” not militarily.  “A new chapter of America’s engagement with Afghanistan has begun,” intoned Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.  “It’s one in which we will lead with our diplomacy. The military mission is over.  A new diplomatic mission has begun.”  In the face of a savage Taliban enemy intent on the murder of every American, the Biden administration is broadcasting to the entire world that we will not resort to military power to save our people and our allies; we will just talk it over with the terrorists. It certainly does not have to be this way. American warfighters are to this day ready to undertake the only sure way to get every American, every SIV holder, and every Afghan out: military intervention.

The confidence our soldiers and our people have in the Soldier’s Creed, that sacred promise to leave no comrade behind, enables us to aspire to greatness and look the enemy in the eye without blinking (consistent with that creed, we win because we never admit defeat, and we never, ever allow an American to be left behind). Rather than fulfill that sacred pledge with courage and honor, Commander in Chief Biden has violated it in a cowardly manner, humiliating our soldiers and our nation in what promises to be an endless series of entirely predictable hostage-takings, executions, and acts of public humiliation.

Moreover, those who surround the president, who have disgraced themselves and their offices by implementing Biden’s dishonorable withdrawal (taking out the military precipitously while leaving behind Americans, allies, and tens of billions in weapons as gifts for the Taliban), are richly deserving of the condemnation they are receiving. Rather than implement President Biden’s orders that would disgrace the United States military and nation, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, and Centcom Commander Kenneth McKenzie should have resigned in protest. That none has done so speaks volumes to their ineptitude and dishonor. They willingly chose to be complicit in the cowardly acts of this president. Even now, as the disgrace is apparent to virtually every American (excepting Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer), they remain in their positions, not even hinting at resignation.

Undoubtedly, Blinken’s August 30 remarks were translated by the Taliban as they were broadcast. I suspect that their interpretation of Blinken’s pledge to replace military engagement with diplomacy proceeds along the following lines: “The Americans admit they have been defeated. The coward Biden won’t use military force to save the Americans, SIVs, and Afghan allies left behind. We can torture and kill them at will.” Far from being America’s “partners”—the oxymoron Centcom Commander McKenzie and the Biden administration used to describe them—the Taliban, our ruthless enemies for the past twenty years, are by their every word and deed a force for unspeakable horrors, murder, violation, and desecration of life, and brutalization of women. They are human jackals. President Biden and his enablers dishonor Americans who have fought and died in battles against these savages when he refers to them as “partners.” The Taliban are not worthy of such official recognition, let alone any American association. They remain a dedicated enemy of the United States, and of civilization itself. Predictably, they will take Americans hostage. They will execute Americans, SIVs, and Afghan allies. They will commit acts of terror in the United States. They will commit all manner of heinous acts until they are destroyed. They will endlessly humiliate the United States and its citizens and allies, as long as this feckless president remains in office, allowing them to get away with it.

If instead of Joe Biden we had a president whose actions revealed his or her true love of country, we would not sit idly by while these predictable atrocities unfold. We would immediately deploy to the theater the Army’s 82nd Airborne, the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, the U.S. Army Rangers, United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance Units, United States Army Special Forces, and the U.S. Air Force’s Special Tactics Squadron along with upwards of 50,000 battle-ready ground troops—all positioned to act on a moment’s notice to open and defend corridors for the prompt evacuation of Americans, SIVs, and Afghan allies out of Afghanistan—all under American control. Once so positioned for action, we should demand that Taliban leaders remove their armed militia from every location where Americans, SIVs, and Afghan allies are present within a set few hours or that militia will be obliterated and the entire Taliban leadership will be decapitated. We should let them know that we will relentlessly and endlessly pursue every Taliban leader until the decapitation is complete. The Taliban know where Americans, SIVs, and our Afghan allies are (Biden permitted Centcom’s McKenzie to give them that information, he did, and we also left intact a trove of biometric data). They are going door to door right now hunting them down.

At the appointed hour, we should then suppress all opposition and have heavily armed special forces units fully backed by air support and nearby staged reinforcements descend into each location where Americans and allies are present (removing every American first). Kill orders should be issued to take out every armed Taliban in the area and to suppress with lethal and overwhelming force any sign of opposition. If a single American is killed, we should immediately initiate and maintain until completion decapitation strikes, making sure that every identifiable Taliban leader is eliminated. If we had a commander in chief with courage equal to that of our troops, one who understood, as do they—that a woke military is a nonsensical military, that an Army that abandons its weapons and its own people in the field is an army in disgrace—we would never have precipitously withdrawn from Afghanistan. That ignoble act of Biden would never have happened. We would have withdrawn piecemeal, removing all civilians first, and holding onto our bases until every weapon was either removed or destroyed.

We have a coward as commander in chief, a coward who commands the courageous—the worst possible plight for our brave soldiers who fight honorably, never leave an American behind, and make the ultimate sacrifice, if necessary, to ensure the achievement of the mission. Biden has dishonored them, most especially. They will never forget that dishonor.

The removal of Americans and allies from a hostile power is not a diplomatic mission. No amount of jawboning at terrorists will save a single life from the human jackals we call Taliban. The choice to prefer diplomacy over military intervention is lunacy. It bespeaks a total abandonment of the American cause. If Biden and those enabling him were serious about leaving no American, no SIV, and no ally behind, they would intervene militarily with speed to secure the immediate and safe evacuation of our countrymen and our allies, before they become Taliban victims. America’s warfighters are itching at the chance to rescue our people, American honor, and our global standing. They would do so in a heartbeat but this president and his enablers stand in the way.

Report: Pentagon Had Advanced Intel on ‘Mass Casualty Attack’ at Kabul Airport Attack But Failed to Stop It

Politico has released bombshell information, obtained through a confidential source at the Pentagon, angering top military officials.

The informant gave copies of detailed notes from three conference calls to Politico that showed military brass knew that a deadly attack was coming 24 hours before the suicide bomb at Kabul airport and was unable to stop it. Politico reported:

Speaking from a secure video conference room on the third floor of the Pentagon at 8 a.m. Wednesday — or 4:30 p.m. in Kabul — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin instructed more than a dozen of the department’s top leaders around the world to make preparations for an imminent “mass casualty event,” according to classified detailed notes of the gathering shared with POLITICO.

During the meeting, Gen. Mark Milley, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, warned of “significant” intelligence indicating that the Islamic State’s Afghanistan affiliate, ISIS-K, was planning a “complex attack,” the notes quoted him as saying.

Commanders calling in from Kabul relayed that the Abbey Gate, where American citizens had been told to gather in order to gain entrance to the airport, was “highest risk,” and detailed their plans to protect the airport.

Later that day, officials on another call decided to close the Abbey Gate by that afternoon. The closing plan was stalled when it was decided to leave the gate open to allow for British allies to continue evacuating their personnel through that gate. The delay was a deadly mistake. A suicide bomber entered Abbey Gate around 6 p.m. on Thursday and detonated a bomb that killed almost 200 people, including 13 U.S. military personnel.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby had no statement to make about why the gate closure was delayed so long after the recommended deadline but did take time to criticize the press for digging into what happened leading up to the deadly attack.

“This story is based on the unlawful disclosure of classified information and internal deliberations of a sensitive nature,” Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said in a statement. “As soon as we became aware of the material divulged to the reporter, we engaged Politico at the highest levels to prevent the publication of information that would put our troops and our operations at the airport at greater risk.

“We condemn the unlawful disclosure of classified information and oppose the publication of a story based on it while a dangerous operation is ongoing,” he continued.

An unnamed official spoke with Politico anonymously and said that the threats were serious, numerous, and impossible to avoid.

“U.S. forces at HKIA were aware of and accounting for a variety of threats, and exercising extreme vigilance,” the official said, using an acronym for the Kabul airport. “We took numerous actions to protect our forces and the evacuees, but no amount of effort will completely eliminate the threat of a determined enemy.”

Relationships with the Taliban as allies to help get the evacuation going faster haven’t panned out and Taliban militants have held up convoys of evacuees needlessly.

On the call, Vasely also described how NATO allies were having problems with the Taliban obstructing an earlier convoy, including Swedes, Danes, Dutch and other personnel.

Despite the tensions, the military continued relaying to the militants precise details about timelines for the withdrawal and the processes for getting American citizens through the gates, Vasely said, according to the call notes. They also allowed the Taliban to operate buses picking up people for evacuation, he added.

Military officials do not believe that the Taliban was colluding with ISIS in carrying out the attack, but a lack of trust between U.S. Forces and the Taliban contributed to communication problems.

“The ability of [the Taliban] to protect us and assist in pursuing [American citizens] and other groups — that willingness will decay, and we’re seeing leading edge indicators of that today,” McKenzie said on the Wednesday morning call. “We do need the agreement of the [Taliban] to pursue our principal objectives of getting out [American citizens] and other priority groups.”

McKenzie then offered a grave prediction about the success of the evacuation effort.

“We’re not going to get everyone out. We’ll get 90-95 percent,” McKenzie said. The call notes did not specify if he was talking about American citizens, or everyone who wanted to evacuate.

It is clear that the Biden administration and our military brass botched this withdrawal worse than anyone could have imagined, and the chaos that ensued led to the inability of our institutions to protect our military members, Americans overseas, our Afghani allies, and civilians on the ground in Kabul. Will anyone face the music for this hatchet job?

UPDATE 2:05 p.m.: Fox News is reporting that at least ten U.S. servicemembers have been killed today.

Today marks the first time since February 2020 that American military forces were killed in action in Afghanistan.

Two suicide bombings killed at least 40 people today, and wounded another 120, outside of the Hamid Karzai International Airport. One attack occurred at the airport’s Abbey Gate and the other was very near the Baron Hotel, where U.S. and UK military and journalists are staying.

The attacks today killed four U.S. Marines and injured another three, marking the first American military deaths in Afghanistan since February 8, 2020, when two American soldiers were killed in a suicide bombing.

The soldiers killed on February 8, 2020, were Sgt. 1st Class Javier Jaguar Gutierrez, 28, of San Antonio, Texas; and Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Rey Rodriguez, 28, of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Both soldiers were assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

The names of the U.S. Marines killed today have not yet been released.

The situation in Afghanistan remains fluid and information is rapidly coming in.

Biden Administration to Use Commercial Airlines to Carry Afghan Evacuees

President Joe Biden's administration said on Sunday that commercial aircraft would be used to help ferry people who have been evacuated from Afghanistan.

The move highlights the difficulty the administration is having in carrying out the evacuation of American citizens and at-risk Afghans.

A Pentagon spokesman said the 18 aircraft, including from United, American Airlines, and Delta, would not fly into Kabul but would be used to transport people who have already been flown out of Afghanistan.

This would be only the third time the "Civil Reserve Air Fleet" has been activated. The first time was during the Gulf War in 1990 and then during the invasion of Iraq in 2002.

The first occurred in support of Operations Desert Shield/Storm (Aug. 1990 to May 1991), and the second was for Operation Iraqi Freedom (Feb. 2002 to June 2003).

The United States and other foreign countries including Britain have brought in several thousand troops to manage the evacuations of foreign citizens and vulnerable Afghans, but have stayed away from the outside areas of the airport.

U.S. officials told Reuters that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin weighed whether the move would have an impact on the airlines' commercial operations.

"The (Defense) Department does not anticipate a major impact to commercial flights from this activation," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said in a statement.

But limited numbers of aircraft is just one of the issues facing the evacuation. Officials are frustrated with the slow processing being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security and State Department.

There is also increasing concern about security in Kabul, where roughly 5,800 troops are protecting the airport.

U.S. troops do not currently have the capability to help people reach Kabul airport to be evacuated from Afghanistan because they are focused on securing the airfield, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Wednesday.

The speed with which Taliban forces retook Afghanistan, as U.S. and other foreign forces withdrew after a 20-year war, has led to chaotic scenes at the airport with diplomats, foreign citizens and Afghans trying to flee but they are being impeded by crowds and Taliban checkpoints.

"We're going to do everything we can to continue to try and deconflict and create passageways for them to get to the airfield. I don't have the capability to go out and extend operations currently into Kabul," Austin told reporters at the Pentagon.

A top U.S. diplomat separately said on Wednesday the United States expects the Taliban to allow Afghans who wish to leave Afghanistan to depart safely.

Austin said the United States was not satisfied with how many people were being evacuated.

"It's obvious we're not close to where we want to be in terms of getting the numbers through," he said.

U.S. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris discussed ways to accelerate evacuations of Americans and refugees from Afghanistan with his national security team on Wednesday, a White House official said.

U.S. troops guarding the evacuation effort fired some shots in the air overnight to control crowds, but there were no indications of casualties or injuries, the Pentagon said earlier on Wednesday.

Austin said there are about 4,500 U.S. military personnel in Kabul and there "have been no hostile interactions with the Taliban, and our lines of communication with Taliban commanders remain open."

Speaking to reporters alongside Austin, General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said there had been no intelligence to indicate that the Afghanistan security forces and government would collapse in 11 days, as they did.

Milley said intelligence had "clearly indicated, multiple scenarios were possible," including a Taliban takeover following a rapid collapse of Afghan security forces and the government, a civil war or a negotiated settlement.

"The timeframe of rapid collapse - that was widely estimated and ranged from weeks to months and even years following our departure," Milley said.

Both Austin and Milley, who have served in Afghanistan, acknowledged that troops and veterans were finding the images from the evacuation troubling.

"I'm hearing strong views from all sides on this issue ... what's important is that each of us will work our way through this in our own way," Austin said.
