A.G. Pam Bondi Orders FBI to Turn Over Thousands of Epstein Docs

By Michael Katz    |   Thursday, 27 February 2025 08:03 PM EST

Attorney General Pam Bondi demanded Thursday that the FBI turn over thousands of pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in federal custody in 2019.

In a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, Bondi wrote that she told Patel before his Senate confirmation that she wanted all the files related to Epstein, who often socialized with celebrities, royalty and other powerful individuals, including on a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Bondi wrote that after she spoke with Patel, she received 200 pages that contained flight logs, a list of Epstein's contacts, and a list of victims' names and phone numbers. Also Thursday, the Department of Justice announced the first phase in the release of Epstein documents that had been leaked but not formally distributed by the government, including flight logs and Epstein's personal address book.

Bondi wrote that a source told her the FBI's field office in New York possessed thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein.

Epstein was charged in July 2019 in New York with sexually exploiting and abusing dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money. The next month, he was found dead in his jail cell of an apparent suicide. Ghislaine Maxwell, who recruited young girls for Epstein, was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking and conspiracy to help him procure girls, but no client names were revealed during her trial. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Bondi wrote that despite her repeated requests, she was never notified about the files held by the New York field office.

"When you and I spoke yesterday, you were just as surprised as I was to learn this new information," she wrote to Patel. "By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained.

"There will be no withholding of limitations to my or your access. The Department of Justice will ensure that any public disclosure of these files is done in a matter to protect the privacy of victims and in accordance with the law, as I have done throughout my entire professional career."

Bondi, a former Florida attorney general, also requested that Patel investigate as to why her original order was not followed and to report to her the findings and any recommendations for personnel action within 14 days.

"I appreciate your immediate attention to this important matter," Bondi wrote. "I know that we are both committed to transparency for the American people, and I look forward to continuing to work with you to serve our President and our country."

New FBI Director Kash Patel announced that former U.S. Secret Service agent Dan Bongino will serve as the deputy director of the bureau.

Bongino previously served as a Secret Service agent and officer in the New York City Police Department. He also hosts a podcast called “The Dan Bongino Show.”

“Tremendous news for law enforcement and the future of American justice! I am proud to welcome Dan Bongino as the next Deputy Director of the FBI—a warrior and lifelong public servant,” Patel announced in an X post.

“Dan has dedicated his career to protecting this country, beginning with his time in the NYPD, where he served in one of the toughest precincts, the 75th, before spending more than a decade as a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service. His leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to justice make him the ideal choice to help lead the FBI at this critical time. He’s a cop’s cop,” Patel continued.

“With Pam Bondi as our new Attorney General, we are assembling a team focused on restoring public trust, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring justice is served. Dan is stepping away from an incredibly successful career because he believes in this mission—together, we are ready to put the mission first,” he added. “Welcome aboard, Dan. The country needs strong leadership, and I know you will serve with honor and dedication.”

President Donald Trump quickly issued Bongino a warm welcome, expressing that he is a “man of incredible love and passion for our Country.”

President Trump also highlighted in a Sunday Truth Social post that Bongino is “one of the most successful podcasters in the country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve.”

“Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!”

As deputy director of the FBI, Bongino will work directly under Patel — providing oversight and coordination of the day-to-day operations for all 55 field offices.

Prior to the announcement, Bongino celebrated Patel’s recent confirmation during a Friday episode of his show, stating: “We got Kash through, so now you are going to see what real change is like.”

Bongino also responded to the announcement of his appointment in an X post on Sunday.

“Thank you Mr. President, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel.”

“I’ve spent my life in public service, beginning with the NYPD and continuing through my time as a Secret Service agent, working under both Republican and Democrat administrations. I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication and sacrifice of the men and women in these agencies who serve with integrity and honor,” Bongino stated.

“There are dedicated people in the FBI who take their oath to the Constitution seriously. They deserve leadership that will back them up, protect their mission, and ensure they can do their jobs,” he continued.

Patel and Bongino are expected to introduce major reforms into the bureau, as Patel has voiced a desire to move up to 1,000 agents out of Washington D.C. and into different field offices across the country.

Additionally, Patel previously floated the idea of closing down the FBI’s headquarters in D.C. and reopening it as a “museum of the deep state.”

Kash Patel made his first speech as FBI Director; followed by his swearing in

Kash Patel Takes Oath On Bhagwad Gita In The 'Indian Treaty Room', Sworn In By AG Pam Bondi

Indian-American Kash Patel took the oath as the FBI director, swearing on the Bhagavad Gita. Kash Patel's girlfriend and family stood beside him as he recited the oath. Other members of his family were seated in the front row. US President Donald Trump also attended Kash Patel's swearing-in ceremony. The Indian Treaty Room, a historic chamber in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, served as the venue for Indian-American Kash Patel’s swearing-in. Originally built in the late 19th century as the Navy Department Library and Reception Room, the elaborately decorated Indian Treaty Room has since hosted significant events, including presidential press conferences and high-level meetings, and also served as one of the rooms to sign treaties. The exact origin of the name ‘Indian Treaty Room’ and its connection to India remains unclear. However, it is believed that the room earned its name in the 1930s when the War Department stored treaties signed with American Indian nations there.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: Meet The New ATF Director

The Deep State is TERRIFIED of Kash Patel at FBI — Here’s PROOF!

Mainstream media outlets released hit pieces accusing Kash Patel of being a Kremlin asset and investing in a Chinese company. J. Michael Waller, senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy, says these are typical deep-state tactics. Waller also details his experience with USAID and how individuals like Patel will expose more of their corruption.

Christopher Wray’s FBI Recognizes the ‘State of Palestine’

What gave the corrupt and politicized feds the right to decide matters of state?

146 of the United Nations’ 193 member states recognize the sovereignty of the State of Palestine, which shows the power of propaganda. That “state” has no borders, no national government (since Gaza long ago rejected the rule of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who is now in the nineteenth year of his four-year term), no currency, and no national culture, language, ethnicity, religion or anything else that is distinct from those of the Arabs of the surrounding areas. One country that has not, however, fallen for the massive con job that is the “state of Palestine” is the United States of America. Yet if the Biden-Harris regime could act fully upon its real aspirations, that opposition would have ended long ago. On Friday, outgoing FBI top dog Christopher Wray made that abundantly clear to the world.

Although Wray has just resigned as head of the desperately corrupt and politicized FBI, he was still acting as director on Friday, giving out diplomas to graduates of the FBI National Academy at Quantico. One foreign student in this putatively “national” program was announced as hailing from “Ramallah, the State of Palestine.”

Has the Biden-Harris FBI, fresh from trying to frame Trump for everything they could cook up to throw at him, now graduated to deciding affairs of state? Is Old Joe Biden so totally non compos mentis at this point that the viciously partisan FBI has gone rogue, and is taking care of foreign affairs on its own? The announcement revealed the feds’ internationalist bent, as it was in line with the United Nations’ overall practice. The Times of Israel reported in September that “Palestinians took a seat among member states at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, a new right accorded to the Palestinian Authority’s delegation despite it not being a full member of the body.” This was how the UN responds to jihad terrorism: by rewarding those who engage in it. And now, apparently, the FBI has joined in the fun.

Officially, the United States, along with Israel, still says that recognition of Palestinian statehood can only come once that the “State of Palestine” recognizes Israel’s right to exist and pledges to live in peace with it. That is something that Palestinian leaders have never been willing to do.

Any doubts about what kind of state the “State of Palestine” might be were removed in late July, when Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, declared, “Our religion is the religion of tolerance and the religion of human brotherhood. But we are also the people of Jihad and the people of force against those who deserve it from us and against those who want to harm our dignity, desecrate our holy sites, or deprive our rights…Palestine is giving its blood abundantly for your sake, nation of Islam.”

Then in early August, al-Habbash amplified his call for jihad against Israel: “Your best Jihad is Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic), and your best Ribat is Ashkelon. Where is Ashkelon? Ashkelon is a city in Palestine (sic, an Israeli coastal city), and the land of Palestine is a land of Ribat and Jihad until Judgement Day. His [Prophet Muhammad’s] dear followers came while carrying out Jihad for Allah to Palestine and Greater Syria, and they liberated it from the Byzantine occupation. Saladin liberated it from the Crusader occupation. And today it will be liberated [again], Allah willing. Palestine will return and be liberated, sooner or later.”

Does this sound as if al-Habbash and his comrades will be pacified with a “State of Palestine” and stop making war against Israel? No. Al-Habbash’s jihad will continue “until Judgment Day,” and he is by no means the only one. The Qur’an commands Muslims to “drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191), and even though it is a historical myth that the Israelis drove the Palestinian Arabs out of Israel, that is the guiding principle of the entire conflict. The Palestinian struggle (in Arabic, “jihad”) will continue until all of Israel is destroyed.

That holds true no matter what the FBI or the United Nations does. No number of rewards for the Oct. 7 jihad massacre will blunt the force of the jihad against Israel; in fact, such rewards will only embolden the jihadis. When the FBI pretends that the “State of Palestine” exists, the message to the “Palestinians” is clear: murder more Jews, and you’ll get even more of what you want. The “State of Palestine” is only a stepping-stone to the total eradication of Israel and a new genocide of the Jews. Is that what the FBI, and the entire Biden-Harris regime, wants? It’s increasingly difficult to escape that impression.

FBI Issues Warning On Potential Election Fraud Schemes

WASHINGTON - MARCH 09: The seal of the F.B.I. hangs in the Flag Room at the bureau's headquaters March 9, 2007 in Washington, DC. F.B.I. Director Robert Mueller was responding to a report by the Justice Department inspector general that concluded the FBI had committed 22 violations in its collection of information through the use of national security letters. The letters, which the audit numbered at 47,000 in 2005, allow the agency to collect information like telephone, banking and e-mail records without a judicially approved subpoena. The FBI warned this week that multiple types of election-related fraud schemes are targeting Americans that are voting, with the election being less than a week away.

On Tuesday, the bureau stated that the scammers use slogans, names, and images of candidates running for an office position to steal victims’ personal information, to sell merchandise, and to fraudulently solicit campaign contributions.

The law enforcement agency pointed out four ways voters could fall victim to election-related scams. Voters could be deceived into submitting funds to a joint pool of money to support a candidate. If the candidate wins, they have been promised money in return.

Americans could also be fooled into thinking they are donating money to a real PAC, when in reality, the scammer who contacted them is not connected to the claimed organization, keeping the funds for themselves.

Additionally, one can be scammed into buying merchandise with the logo of the candidate they support, but the company selling it is not involved with the campaign, and the item does not end up being shipped to the customer, the FBI continued.

Finally, the bureau highlighted victims receiving emails or text messages alleging that they are not registered to vote in the state and telling them to follow a link to a fraudulent page meant to steal personally identifiable information.

For more protection, the FBI said voters should be “cautious” when getting unsolicited calls, texts, and emails. They advised Americans not to click on any unknown links. The bureau also said that voters should check the status of the PACs on the Federal Election Commission website before donating any money.

Anyone can check their voter registration status at www.vote.gov
