Former Vice President Joe Biden is under an active criminal investigation into his role in the Ukraine influence-peddling scandal, following the release of additional documents concerning Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election. Paul Sperry, a Washington-based investigative journalist and Hoover Institution media fellow, tweeted on Tuesday:
House investigators have now joined the Senate in requesting the FBI open a criminal investigation into possible foreign influence-peddling & embezzlement involving Joe Biden and his younger brother and son based on suspicious financial activities flagged by US Treasury.
The next day Sperry confirmed that the investigation is active:
Joe Biden is the subject of an active federal criminal investigation into his role in the counterintelligence investigation directed @ the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, including the former vice president’s activities in Ukraine. Ukrainian witnesses are cooperating.
Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said “the report raises serious questions that former Vice President Biden needs to answer. There are simply too many potential conflicts of interest, counterintelligence and extortion threats to ignore.”
The Jewish Voice wrote back in July that the investigation was likely, stemming from complaints of Biden’s interference in Ukrainian internal affairs by a former Ukrainian prosecutor:
Biden, the presumptive Democratic president nominee, has been formally listed in a criminal case for the crime of firing Ukraine’s former prosecutor General Viktor Shokin in exchange for dropping an investigation into his son, Hunter.
Chanel Rion of One America News Network (OAN) confirmed the report:
Shokin formally called for an investigation into his firing back in February of 2020, claiming the Ukrainian government at the time released Shokin of his post in exchange for one billion dollars in loan guarantees promised by Biden.
But at the time Shokin called for this case back in February, the courts named one of the defendants as an “unnamed American,” an individual widely understood to be Joe Biden, Obama’s Ukraine point man. But Biden was never formally named.
Now the courts have ruled it is improper to conceal Biden’s name and that there is sufficient evidence to proceed with an investigation.
Biden bragged about his interference in Ukrainian internal affairs during a public conversation at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in 2018:
I remember going over and convincing our team, others, to convince that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev. And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from [former Ukrainian President] Poroshenko and from [former Ukrainian Prime Minister] Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.
So they said they had — they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to — or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said — I said, call him. [Laughter] I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.
Well, son of a b-tch. [Laughter] He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.
There was enough evidence in the Congressional reports released in September on Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings while his father was Vice President that Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) referred Hunter to the Justice Department for a criminal investigation.
From that report it was learned than Hunter benefited far beyond the $50,000 monthly salary he was being paid for being on the board of Burisma. Relationships developed from his presence resulted in him making “millions of dollars,” according to the report.
Worse than that, “The committees also said they obtained records from the U.S. Treasury Department that ‘show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals’.… In addition the younger Biden had ‘business associations with … Chinese nationals linked to the Communist government and the People’s Liberation Army.… Those associations resulted in millions of dollars of cash flow.”
It is reasonable to expect that there will be much more evidence of the senior Biden’s influence-peddling and political interference in the 1,000 pages just released to John Durham, the federal prosecutor, on Wednesday.
That investigation will likely extend into President Trump’s second term if he wins in November. If he doesn’t, expect this investigation to disappear into the ether under a Biden administration.

The acting head of the Department of Homeland Security declared Monday night that the Department of Justice is “targeting and investigating” the leaders of Black Lives Matter and Antifa over violence and rioting in US cities.
Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show, Chad Wolf also claimed that the feds are going after those paying for the organisation of the rioting.
When asked by Carlson “Why haven’t we seen the leaders of Antifa and BLM arrested and charged with conspiracy under RICO?”, Wolf said he had spoken to the Attorney General personally about the matter.
“I know that they are working on it. Look, we have seen about 300 arrests across this country regarding civil unrest and protesting, violent protesting and I would say, criminal protesting,” Wolf said.
“I know the Department of Justice has charged about 74, 75 individuals there in Portland with different federal crimes,” Wolf continued.
“We will continue to see how those investigations are going. Department of Justice is also targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country,” he added.
Wolf also repeated information from police reports indicating that most people arrested for rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin were from other cities.
“What we know, Tucker, is that we have seen groups and individuals move from Portland to other parts of the country,” Wolf said.
“We had about about 175 arrests in Kenosha, almost 100 of them were from out of state. So, we know they are moving around. We have seen them in D.C., in Sacramento, and elsewhere. They are organized. We have seen similar tactics being used from Portland and other cities across the country as well. So, we know that there is organization, I know the Department of Justice is also looking at that as well,” Wolf urged.
Amid the violence, videos have emerged of BLM and Antifa agitators in Kenosha and Oakland, California, marching and chanting ‘Death to America’:
Wolf also noted that Joe Biden must be “delusional” for threatening that there will be more violence if Trump is re-elected.
President Trump is scheduled to visit Kenosha Tuesday, after ignoring a request from Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers who said “I am concerned your presence will only hinder our healing.”

FBI Director Christopher Wray described China’s ruling Communist Party as being involved in a “whole-of-state effort” to overturn America’s global dominance and become the world’s top superpower “by any means necessary.”
Speaking at an event hosted by the Hudson Institute, Wray said China’s anti-America program includes a number of subversive activities, from theft to propaganda to surveillance.
“It’s the people of the United States who are the victims of what amounts to Chinese theft on a scale so massive that it represents one of the largest transfers of wealth in human history,” he asserted, adding that “the greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property, and to our economic vitality, is the counterintelligence and economic espionage threat from China. It’s a threat to our economic security — and, by extension, to our national security.”
The FBI director went on to warn that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) “believes it is in a generational fight to surpass our country in economic and technological leadership” — a fight that is not being waged by “legitimate” means, but rather “engaged in a whole-of-state effort to become the world’s only superpower by any means necessary.”
Wray explained that part of China’s strategy involved collecting personal data about American citizens.
“If you are an American adult, it is more likely than not that China has stolen your personal data.... Our data isn’t the only thing at stake here — so are our health, our livelihoods, and our security,” he said. “We’ve now reached the point where the FBI is opening a new China-related counterintelligence case approximately every 10 hours.”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently said that Americans should only use Chinese social-media apps such as TikTok if they “want [their] information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.” Pompeo stated that the administration is considering banning such apps in the United States.
The Justice Department has also ramped up its scrutiny of China, starting the China Initiative in 2018 to prosecute Chinese nationals in espionage cases, combat hacking schemes, and derail efforts to steal trade secrets.
Wray said the American people “need to understand” that China “uses a diverse range of sophisticated techniques — everything from cyber intrusions to corrupting trusted insiders,” along with “outright physical theft.”
He added: “They’ve pioneered an expansive approach to stealing innovation through a wide range of actors — including not just Chinese intelligence services but state-owned enterprises, ostensibly private companies, certain kinds of graduate students and researchers, and a whole variety of other actors working on their behalf.”
The FBI chief emphasized that China “has a fundamentally different system than ours — and it’s doing all it can to exploit the openness of ours while taking advantage of its own closed system.” According to Wray, half of the bureau’s nearly 5,000 active counterintelligence cases are related to China.
Wray also touched upon the matter of Chinese propaganda in America. He stopped short of saying that the Sleeping Giant is interfering in the 2020 presidential election, saying instead that “China’s malign foreign influence campaign targets our policies, our positions, 24/7, 365 days a year” but isn’t “election-specific.”
"All these seemingly inconsequential pressures add up to a policy-making environment in which Americans find themselves held over a barrel by the Chinese Communist Party,” Wray proclaimed.

One of China’s initiatives, known as Confucius Institutes, involves setting up programs on K-12 and college campuses that immerse the nation’s youth in the morals and values of the communist nation.
Recent reports have found that Chinese weapons have found their way onto American streets. Customs and Border Protection officers in Louisville recently seized 11,000 illegal firearms — valued at nearly $130,000 — that originated from Shenzen, China, and were intended for a residence in Melbourne, Florida.
This comes as the Wall Street Journal has reported on illegal firearms appearing around Black Lives Matter events in Louisville.
“They’re calculating. They’re persistent. They’re patient. And they’re not subject to the righteous constraints of an open, democratic society or the rule of law,” Wray said of the CCP.
It was the American Deep State that allowed China to fall to the communists, and it was again the Deep State that empowered China’s economy, at America’s expense, with a disastrous trade agenda. If Americans want to save their country, they must understand that the enemy without depends on the support of the enemy within.

The United States government is now promoting the religious cult of sexual perversion, also known as “gay pride.” In the name of “diversity” and “inclusion,” the taxpayer-funded FBI is celebrating, according to their own words, “the contributions that our LGBT colleagues have made to our country and mission.”
It wouldn’t be funny if this were a joke, but the fact that it’s real just makes this even worse. Exactly what contributions have homosexuals contributed to our country and mission? Sexual depravity? TRUMP FORCED TO WITHDRAW HIS “ATF” NOMINATION

When the White House pulled the nomination of Kenneth Charles “Chuck” Canterbury, Jr. (shown) to head up the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) last week, it didn’t say why. But Canterbury’s confirmation was in jeopardy almost from the beginning.
The White House announced the nomination a year ago, but after hearing what Canterbury had to say about his commitment, or lack of, to the Second Amendment, it died in committee.
During that hearing, GOP Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana expressed his frustration at Canterbury’s lack of candor: “I like straight answers, and you are being evasive. You have been nominated to run the ATF. I think every member of this panel, both my Democratic friends and Republican friends who have feelings about the Second Amendment, are entitled to know both morally and legally what you believe.”
His nomination suffered at the hands of the Gun Owners of America, which said that, while Canterbury was head of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the FOP “backed Congressional measures to expand the unconstitutional and failing NICS [background check] system … and … supported Universal Background Checks and opposed Constitutional Carry.”
The FOP itself didn’t help any, either, when it made plain is opposition to the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act under Canterbury’s leadership.
Canterbury’s nomination stalled, but was returned and revived by the president in February when he renominated him for the position. But his chances were sunk into oblivion when a letter was uncovered, dating back to January 2013, that Canterbury wrote to the Senate Judiciary Committee on behalf of the FOP, not only urging support for expanded background checks, but for “reinvigoration” and additional funding for the ATF “to ensure that it has the tools and resources necessary to [fulfill] its mission.”
Canterbury’s letter also supported the gathering of mental-health records “in the context of firearms acquisition” (whatever that’s supposed to mean), and more federal funding of state and local law-enforcement agencies “to put more State and local law enforcement officers on the street.”
Canterbury buried his nomination when, in the 2013 letter, he gave his reasons for more unconstitutional infringements:
We believe the most logical starting point to address gun violence is the expansion of the background check system. Incomplete or absent background checks create a gaping hole in the wall between firearms and criminals. Loopholes in the background check system give criminals unprecedented opportunity to access firearms. This problem must be remedied quickly….
We encourage you to consider expanding the resources available to ATF to combat firearms trafficking.… As things stand now, ATF has been scraping by with a dwindling number of agents and other resources while ATF’s mission has expanded. Frankly, this is unacceptable.
Things are so bad, complained Canterbury, that “there are jurisdictions out there telling civilians bluntly that they will have to defend themselves.”
In anticipation that he would be confirmed, Canterbury resigned from the FOP after 26 years. It’s hoped that he will now disappear altogether from public view. In the meantime, Regina Lombardo will continue in place as the Bureau’s acting director.
