British supermarket Morrisons called the police on a disabled man who was medically exempt from wearing a face mask after attempting to make him wear a yellow sticker.

Yes, really.

The clip shows the man involved in a confrontation with a security guard and staff as they try to make him wear the sticker.

The man calls them out by asking how a sticker could stop the spread of coronavirus.

When he refuses to wear the sticker, he is asked to leave the store as staff claim they are just doing their job.

“Weren’t they just doing their job in the Nazi Germany? Can you remember how they said that during the Nuremberg trials?”

The staff then call the police, although are unsure if they should be calling the ‘999’ emergency number.

The security guard says the yellow stickers are to “explain to other people in the store that you’re medically exempt,” despite this not being part of the law.

“It’s not law, she’s going to phone the police over a policy, you can’t phone the police over a policy,” explains the man, who ends up paying for his shopping and leaving before any police arrive.

According to the law, people do not have to answer questions as to why they are medically exempt and are not required to signal to others with any kind of sticker or badge that they are medically exempt.

The dark undertones of forcing disabled people to wear yellow stars hardly needs to be explained.

This underscores how the obsession with forcing people to wear face masks, despite their efficacy being disputed by numerous studies, is being abused to target the vulnerable.

Big Brother Watch asked Morrisons to apologize for the behavior of their staff, but the company is yet to respond.

Seizing the opportunity to use the third anniversary of the Parkland school shooting for his anti-gun purposes, Biden called on Congress on Sunday to enact “common sense” gun laws to prevent such a horrific event from happening again.

He said:

Today, I am calling on Congress to enact commonsense gun law reforms, including requiring background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and eliminating immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets.

We owe it to all those we’ve lost and to all those left behind to grieve to make a change.

The time to act is now.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton immediately saw through the façade, tweeting:

The Parkland shooting 3 years ago was an act of unspeakable evil. But Democrats cannot be allowed to use this tragedy as an opportunity to cram down unhelpful and unconstitutional gun laws.

That’s exactly what Biden’s newly restructured ATF is going to have to do, as the vast majority of Americans “clinging” to their rightfully purchased and owned firearms aren’t likely to give them up willingly. At present, there appears to be no plan to do so. So far, it’s all just words, words, words.

Nearly a year ago The New American reviewed Biden’s plan to disarm every American. The keystone is abolishing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, passed in 2005, that protects gunmakers from frivolous lawsuits designed to bankrupt them.

The other planks follow a similar pattern: banning the manufacture and sale of “assault weapons”; mandating that existing “assault weapons” be registered under the National Firearms Act, which at present regulates items such as machineguns, silencers, and short-barreled rifles. Under the NFA, potential buyers must pay $200 for the privilege of owning such weapons. Or, of course, such weapons may be turned over to the government in a “buyback.” 

Background checks will be required for all firearms-related transactions. Biden also wants every state to enact “red flag” laws (Extreme Risk Protection Orders, or ERPOs), which can forcibly disarm citizens who have not been charged with a crime.

Ghost printing of receivers would be banned as well. The penalty would apply to anyone downloading the 3D printing plans from the Internet.

There would be new “safe at home” requirements, limits to how many firearms one may purchase in a month, and so forth.

When the National Rifle Association (NRA) learned of Biden’s plans to disarm the populace, the five-million member group laughed it off:

Joe and his supporters fear-monger using words like “assault weapons” to describe America’s most popular home defense rifle — the AR-15 — or “AR-14” to Joe.

Joe — We’ll say it real slow. Come and take it.

Biden doesn’t care that none of those mandates would have kept the Parkland murderer from carrying out his ghastly work. The shooter legally owned the rifle, having already passed the requisite background checks.

And suggestions emanating from that tragedy that teachers be allowed to arm themselves fell on deaf ears.

Biden’s anti-gun henchmen face the same problem every other anti-gun politician faces in the United States: the unique problem that nearly half the populace owns a firearm (or several firearms). And they aren’t likely to roll over just because Biden says to.

Hitler had a similar problem with Switzerland. He developed Operation Tannenbaum to invade the small Alpine country. The plan called for using 21 German divisions and 15 Italian divisions, totaling some 500,000 troops. History records that, after considering the cost, the difficulty, and the potential armed resistance from every Swiss male between age 18 and 34, Hitler bagged the plan.

The dictator had a similar problem with the Jews. After nearly 400,000 of them were sent to the Warsaw ghetto, being slowly starved to death or sent to death camps, they decided to fight back. An operation that was supposed to take just three days took nearly a month as the supposedly disarmed and starving denizens fought off Hitler’s troops. When the last Jew had been killed an arsenal of firearms — rifles, pistols, and hand grenades — was discovered.

The lesson Hitler learned, and which Biden and his anti-gun tyrants will have to learn, is that, driven to the wall, Americans won’t cave.

Paxton is right. If Biden wants the guns, he’ll have to come and take them.

Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the Democrats need to “spend months and months unearthing all the evidence that can possibly be gotten to through a 9/11-style commission” on the Capitol Hill riots.

Partial transcript as follows:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator Coons, you just heard Congresswoman Dean right there on the necessity of a 9/11 Commission. You agree?

COONS: I do. George, this was a remarkable week. A powerful week. And I think the House managers, obviously Congresswoman Dean and Congressman Raskin and a very talented team put on an incredibly compelling and powerful case. But there’s still more evidence that the American people need and deserve to hear and a 9/11 Commission is a way to make sure that we secure the Capitol going forward and that we lay bare the record of just how responsible and how abjectly violating of his constitutional oath President Trump really was.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So there is more to learn. And you played a key role in working out the compromise accepted by the House managers on witnesses.

Walk us through the argument you made and what was going on in those couple of hours of confusion yesterday morning on the Senate floor.

COONS: Well, a number of senators promptly started talking to each other about what was the path forward with the unexpected request by the House managers for additional witnesses. And as lead manager Jamie Raskin recognized right after the trial, they could have had 500 more witnesses, it wasn’t going to change the outcome. Once Mitch McConnell made it clear he intended to acquit, even despite the compelling evidence, what the House managers needed wasn’t more witnesses or more evidence. What we all needed was more Republican courage.

I am grateful to Dr. Cassidy and the seven Republicans who joined with every Democrat in voting to convict President Trump. This was the most bipartisan verdict in American history, a strong rebuke to President Trump. But, frankly at the end of the day, the trial had reached its natural conclusion and I’m grateful for the terrific work the House managers did.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you wouldn’t — you don’t believe that a full trial, more witnesses, more documents giving a sense of what was going on inside the White House, would have better serve the cause of justice and accountability?

COONS: I do think that we need to spend months and months unearthing all the evidence that can possibly be gotten to through a 9/11-style commission. I, frankly, at that time did not think that spending months fighting over additional witnesses would have changed the outcome of this trial one bit. And the House managers agreed. Many senators were making that point that they had as many votes on the Republican side as were possible to get. Frankly, they got more than even I expected given if you look back a year, the impeachment trial of President Trump that happened a year ago, only one Republican voted to convict.

Garriott referenced Scripture and her faith repeatedly while leading a workshop on “Being Political” at the “Faith, Politics and the Common Good” summit convened in Des Moines earlier this month. The summit was hosted by Vote Common Good, an advocacy organization run by progressive Christians, and featured speeches from other clergy-turned-candidates such as Bryan Berghoef, a minister running for Congress in Michigan as a Democrat.

She told RNS she is careful to avoid preaching or regularly engaging in “theological conversation” from the political podium

She also acknowledged that being a religious professional can lead to conversations that focus narrowly on what she called “hot button” issues such as abortion, which she contends is more complicated than “pro-choice or pro-life.” Her campaign website does not list a formal position on the issue, although she has appeared at protests standing with Iowa abortion rights advocates.

The Iowa State Senate opens each daily session with a prayer. On February 8, State Senator Sarah Trone Garriott (D) “shared a prayer” written by one of her constituents who was a Muslim. The prayer was to Allah and included references to a number of Allah’s 99 Names.[1] It is interesting that the Iowa State Senate prayed to the Muslim god Allah, even though there are no Muslim members of that Senate. And it is even more interesting that these state senators bowed their heads in prayer to a god who curses Christians and Jews and condemns them to Hell.

Here is what Allah has to say in the Koran about Christians and Jews:

Allah states that the only religion acceptable to him is Islam (e.g., 3:19 and 3:85); Christians and Jews are disbelievers[2] (e.g. 2:120, 3:99, 3:110, and 5:65), and Jews are among the worst enemies of Muslims (5:82); Allah curses Christians and Jews (9:30) and states that those who believe that Allah had a Son commit the one unforgivable sin in Islam, Shirk[3](e.g. 4:48 and 4:116); Allah states that those who commit Shirk will go to Hell (e.g. 3:151 and 5:72-73); Allah states that Christians and Jews are among the worst of creatures and “will abide in the fire of Hell” (98:6); Allah specifically forbids Muslims from being friends with Christians and Jews (5:51), and instead commands Muslims to fight Christians and Jews (9:29).

Christianity is considered to be a false religion because Allah states that Jesus was not crucified, but it only appeared so (4:157-158). Islam teaches that Allah took Jesus bodily into paradise and made one of Jesus’ disciples look like Jesus; it was that disciple who was crucified. So Muslims who know their religion look at a crucifix or a painting of the Crucifixion and see an imposter hanging on the cross. And of course, if there was no Crucifixion, there was no Resurrection. So Islam teaches that Christianity is a false religion based on a fraud.

According to Koran 4:80, Muhammad spoke for Allah. Here is some of what Muhammad had to say about Christians and Jews:

  1. Christians and Jews will take the place of Muslims in Hell: Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit instead of him a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire.[4]
  2. Muhammad said that Christians and Jews who remained with their respective religions and did not believe in Islam would go to Hell: It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: By Him in whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.[5]
  3. Muhammad said that Christians and Jews were inferior to Muslims: It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ruled that the blood money for the People of the Book is half of that of the blood money for the Muslims, and they are the Jews and Christians.[6]
  4. Muhammad said Muslims must not be the first to greet Christians and Jews: Abu Huraira reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) had said: Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it.[7]
  5. And on his death bed Muhammad had this to say: It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. Al-Khattab that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslims.[8]

Here is what Allah’s prophet Muhammad specifically said about Jews:

  1. Kill the Jews: Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight against the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.’”[9]
  2. Muhammad said the Jews were grave robbers. Al-Bukhari reported this hadith under the heading of What has been said about Bani Israel: ‘Uqba bin ‘Amir said, “I heard him [Muhammad] saying that the Israeli used to dig the grave of the dead (to steal their shrouds).”[10]
  3. Muhammad even said that Jews would be accompanying the anti-Christ: Anas b. Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The antichrist would be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isbahan wearing Persian shawls.[11]

This was not the first time the Iowa State Senate had opened a session by praying to Allah. On April 7, 2014, the opening prayer for the Senate that day was given by Des Moines Imam Mohammad Khan. In Arabic Khan recited the first chapter of the Koran – Al-Fatihah (this was confirmed by a native Arabic speaker).[12]

Al-Fatihah consists of only seven verses. Let’s focus on the last two verses. In Verse 6 Muslims ask to be guided to the Straight Way. Allah’s prophet Muhammad said the Straight Way (or Path) was Islam.[13] The modern Tafsir Ahsanul-Bayan explained the meaning of the Straight Path:

The Straight Path here means the religion of Islam as enshrined, enunciated and explained in the final Revelation, the Qur’an, and the authentic sayings and acts of Allah’s Messenger, called hadeeth.[14]

In Verse 7, Muslims then ask not to be guided to the way of those who have earned Allah’s anger or to the way of those who have gone astray. So who are those who have earned the anger of Allah? Allah’s prophet Muhammad said they were the Jews.[15] And who has gone astray? Allah’s prophet Muhammad said that those who had gone astray, or were misguided, were the Christians.[16]

The Muslim scholar Ibn Kathir explained these two deviations from the Straight Way:

These two paths are the paths of the Christians and Jews, a fact that the believer [Muslim] should beware of so that he avoids them. The path of the believers is knowledge of the truth and abiding by it. In comparison, the Jews abandoned practicing the religion, while the Christians lost the true knowledge. This is why ‘anger’ descended upon the Jews, while being described as ‘led astray’ is more appropriate of the Christians…We should also mention that both the Christians and the Jews have earned the anger [of Allah] and are led astray, but the anger is one of the attributes more particular of the Jews.[17]

So Allah is actually angry with both the Jews and Christians!

On two different occasions now the members of the Iowa State Senate have bowed their heads and prayed to Allah, the god of Islam, who curses the Christian and Jewish senators in that body and condemns them to Hell. It takes some thick skin to be a Christian or Jewish elected official in the Iowa State Senate.

When the current BIDEN regime in Washington, D.C. says they are ‘going after violent extremists,’ they mean patriots

When the current regime in Washington, D.C. says they are “going after violent extremists,” they mean patriots.

Three weeks ago, President Obama’s “Counter-Terrorism Czar” and the former Director of Central Intelligence, John Brennan, spoke on MSNBC and stated the Biden team is moving in “laser-like fashion” to identify “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, and even libertarians” who constitute, in Brennan’s words, a great threat to the Republic. He said that the civilian enforcement and intelligence agencies, as well as the military, are and should be working to root out this “threat.”

In describing the threat, Brennan specifically mentioned the previous administration and its supporters.

Two weeks ago, the Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin, warning of “objections” to “governmental authority.” The report states in part: “Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.”

Who are the “violent extremists” they are discussing?

Constitutionally-minded patriots.

Not sure of that?

Last week, Robert Grenier, the former CIA Station Chief for Pakistan/Afghanistan told NPR that the U.S. needs to handle people such as those who “stormed” the U.S. Capitol on January 6 the same way the U.S. government handled insurgents in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In other words, kill them.

Also last week, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin ordered a sixty-day military-wide “STAND DOWN” order so that the military can purge “extremists” from its ranks. In his confirmation hearing, Austin said, “If confirmed, I will fight hard to…rid our ranks of racists and extremists…”

A noble effort.

So how are we defining “extremists?”

Remember: during the Obama administration, “extremists” included military veterans returning from combat.

From where did the term “violent extremist” come?

First, let’s back up to a few years after September 11, 2001, when the U.S. government brought the “Countering Violent Extremism” (CVE) program to the United States from Britain.

The CVE program in Britain was created by Muslim Brotherhood groups, including the Muslim Council of Britain, the Muslim Association of Britain, and others.

U.S. officials, thinking anything the Brits do must be awesome, literally bought this program in its totality and brought it back into the FBI, DHS, CIA, et al.

The main purpose of CVE is to define threats as “violent extremism” so that intelligence and law enforcement agencies target “extremists” instead of jihadis, communists, and other definable threats.

If you cannot name the threat, you cannot target the threat, and, therefore, you can never defeat the threat.

Also, the DHS CVE Working Group has included jihad enablers such as Mohamed Elibiary, Mohamed Magid, and others, who were given secret clearances during their tenure at DHS.

So here we are, 20 years after 9/11, and not only is America much farther away from defeating the jihadis and communists, the communists just seized executive power in the United States one month ago.

On January 30, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace suggested that Trump supporters who “incited violence” at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, be convicted just like Al Qaeda’s leader in Yemen, Anwar al-Awlaki, who also “incited violence” and was killed in a U.S. drone strike in September 2011.

Put aside the fact for a moment that Nicolle Wallace lied when she said that al-Awlaki was killed because he “incited violence.” Awlaki was actually killed because he was the leader of Al Qaeda in Yemen and responsible for jihad attacks inside the United States.

The fact that the propaganda arm of the U.S. communist/jihadi cabal, the traditional media, is openly calling for violence against Americans exercising their unalienable right to freely express themselves and hold the federal government accountable when it is ruled by those hostile to the Constitution should alarm and alert all thoughtful patriots.

The point is clear. The U.S. government under the current communist regime in the White House will use and is using its full power to suppress and eliminate opposition.

The communists/democrats did it to President Trump when they traitorously and unlawfully used the FBI, CIA, DNI, and other agencies to spy on him, his family, and his staff.

They are doing and will do it to citizens.

The Indiana university announced Thursday that it is ditching the Crusaders nickname, mascot and logos — something that had been adopted and embraced by various hate groups throughout history.

“The negative connotation and violence associated with the Crusader imagery are not reflective of Valpo’s mission and values, which promote a welcoming and inclusive community,” interim president Colette Irwin-Knott said, via The Assocaited [sic] Press. “This is the decision that best reflects our values and community.”

Valparaiso’s student senate and faculty senate each passed resolutions that called for the name change, and the university’s alumni board of directors supported the change, per the report….

The Crusades were a series of wars between Christians and Muslims in the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries used to secure control of holy sites and land in Europe and the Middle East. Various hate groups, including the Ku Klux Klan, have used crusaders symbols and words ever since.

“The Crusader does not [represent the university] effectively,” student president Kaitlyn Steinhiser said, via The Associated Press. “Valpo is and always has been a faith-based institution, and we want to make sure our symbolism is in alignment with our beliefs and speaks to the core values of the Lutheran ethos. At Valpo, we strive to seek truth, serve generously and cultivate hope. We do not believe having the Crusader as our mascot portrays these values.”

Governor Ron DeSantis Responds to the Biden Administration Singling Out Florida

Governor Ron DeSantis is responding to rumors that the Biden administration is considering travel restrictions for his state. The onslaught of criticism for the way DeSantis is handling the pandemic has reached a crescendo following the Super Bowl coverage showing residents moving freely, with and without masks, in the stadium stands and celebrating the game. DeSantis was photographed maskless in a box seat and preemptively told the press he couldn’t drink a beer with the mask on, and beer is required to watch your home team play in the big game. They were unimpressed.

Here is an example of the overwrought and grossly inaccurate coverage from the unimpressive and often wrong Joy Reid. She asks “health experts” how the nation can manage the pandemic while governors like Ron DeSantis supposedly oppose them. She accused him of caring more about keeping the state open for business than keeping people alive:

“How do you deal with dumb governors?” Reid asked. Too funny. Governor De Santis, who runs circles around Reid on the intelligence scale, set the record straight:

In his remarks, DeSantis called the very idea of restriction travel “unconstitutional, unwise, and unjust.” He added: “It would be a purely political attack on the people of Florida.”

To support his contention, he cited COVID-19 statistics from December 1st to demonstrate Florida’s results are better than most states across the country, especially on the metric that matters most. Florida ranks as follows:

  • 28th on positive tests per capita.
  • 30th on hospitalizations per capita.
  • 42nd of fatalities per capita.
  • Emergency Department visits for COVID-19-like visits – down 60% in the last 30 days.
  • Hospitalizations down 35% over the previous three weeks.
  • Vaccinations delivered to more people over 65 than other states: 1.6 million of 4.5 million Florida seniors have received the vaccine.

On every metric, Florida outperforms at least half the country, and on the one that matters, fatalities per capita, it is in the bottom 10. That is even more impressive given the percentage of Florida residents over 65 compared to New York and California. It sounds as if DeSantis is willing to duke this issue out in court and force the Biden administration to justify any decision to restrict travel:

We will not back down. If anyone tries to harm Floridians or target us, we will respond very quickly.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight and reiterated DeSantis’s assertion that this was political. He also agreed that the idea the Biden administration is considering restricting the movement of citizens when it allows illegal immigrants to flow over the border and get released into the country is absurd. When Carlson said the very idea almost seemed like a punishment, Rubio responded:

“I think they are trying to punish Florida. I think they are embarrassed by what Florida has done. Florida has embarrassed California. Florida has embarrassed New York. It hosted a Super Bowl with actual people in the stands. The predictions about Florida didn’t come true and they’re like, ‘We can’t let this stand. We’ve gotta come up with something.’ I think there is an element of that that involves punishment. I really do.”

Rubio also noted the flow of Americans moving from blue states to Florida and said they are now seeing people move in from California, which is new. He said this was partially motivated by the pandemic lockdowns in other states that include kicking children out of school for nearly a year. However, he also argued that rising crime, deteriorating sanitation, and anarchy in the streets in large Democrat-run states are compounding the desire to relocate.

Adding to the idea that attacking Florida by proposing a travel restriction is mainly political, wide-open Georgia lies directly to the north. Governor Brian Kemp reopened first last spring and endured similar media attacks. The state remains every bit as open as Florida and has a Republican governor. On several metrics for the pandemic, Georgia’s performance is still good, but not as good as Florida. The UK variant of COVID-19 has also been found in the state, which is part of the administration’s pretext for restricting Florida.

So why restrict Florida and not Georgia? Look at an election map for 2020. Georgia went blue with a little help from outside money dumped into large blue counties. Florida went redder than it did in 2016. There is a case to be made that targeting Florida is just as much about sending a message to voters as it is about attacking Governor DeSantis.

He was later fired, but voices in the media are still calling for Trump supporters to be deprogrammed.

Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post said on MSNBC, “There are millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans, who somehow need to be deprogrammed.”

Journalist Katie Couric said on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, “The question is: how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump?”

Trump supporters are also being called mentally ill and are being censored, doxed, de-platformed, backlisted, or demonetized.

Disturbing Parallels to Communist Dictatorships

It’s giving some who have lived in communist countries, flashbacks.

For those who lived under communist dictatorships, what’s happening in America has disturbing parallels.

Chinese Pastor Bob Fu of China Aid was a student leader during the Tiananmen Square pro-democracy demonstrations in 1989. He was also a proud attendee of the January 6th Trump rally on the National Mall. 

Fu says the call for “re-education” and “deprogramming” for Trump supporters is straight out of the Chinese communist party playbook. 

“Absolutely,” was Fu’s response when asked about the similarities, “These kinds of tactics, they all require forced conformity and if you don’t comply, then you will be punished. They want to make every American conform one way of ideology and a one way of thinking.” 

Hugo Chavez Also Called His Opponents ‘Terrorists’ and ‘Fascists’

Elizabeth Rogliani’s family had to flee Venezuela when Hugo Chavez took power. She made a video warning last year about the similarities between the Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioting in America and what happened in Venezuela, that went viral. She told her Instagram followers, “I have already lived through this thing when I was living in Venezuela.”

Rogliani says the labeling of Trump supporters as potential domestic terrorists was a tactic Hugo Chavez used to stigmatize his political opposition.

“This calling out the opposition or Republicans as terrorist or fascist, that is the kind of language I saw a lot,” Rogliani said, “The late president Hugo Chavez used to call us fascist and terrorist as well.”

Rogliani believes one ominous sign for America has been all the conservatives flocking to more secure messaging platforms like Telegram because that is exactly what happened in Venezuela when the democratic opposition was de-platformed and opposition leaders began to be arrested. 

“We jumped into Telegram really early on,” Rogliani said, “So I find that very interesting how it’s happening so fast here.”

Jason Poblete’s grandfather had to flee Cuba when Fidel Castro took power. Poblete, an attorney who has worked in Congress and now heads the Global Liberty Alliance, says what happened in Cuba is replaying in the United States.

“It’s painful to watch,” Poblete told us, “It’s not something that I ever thought I would see in the United States. In Cuba, the communists and the socialist facilitators had been laying the groundwork. And by the time Fidel Castro rolled in, they had already laid that framework in place to take the government over.”

East German ‘Democrats’ Ended Careers, Took Away Children

German Evangelist Heidi Mund, author of The Brave German Woman, grew up in former communist East Germany, which called itself the “German Democratic Republic,” and she has harsh words for America’s Democrat party today:

“Your Democrats remind me of the German Democratic Republic,” Mund said. “They also called themselves ‘democrats,’ but they were socialists and communists.” 

When Heidi as a young woman began to speak out against the East German government, she paid the price. “My career stopped. They broke my career, so I could not find a job anymore,” Mund said.

Dissidents in the old Soviet bloc were also called mentally ill and sent to hospitals, as they are today in China. Children were also taken away from dissidents.

Mund said, “They really took away children. They put them in orphanages and the parents did not get them back.”

Polish Prime Minister Compares Treatment of Trump to Communism

These voices warning Americans are not alone. Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki has compared the treatment of President Trump to Poland’s Communist era.

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, sentenced last week to two years in Penal Colony by the Russian government, calls Donald trump’s Twitter ban “an unacceptable act of censorship.”

Former Chinese dissident Fu said, “All this de-platforming, stopping you from even having a platform to speak up, this kind of thing is exactly happening in China. They’re using similar tactics with the same playbook.”

Jason Poblete believes if his grandfather, who loved America deeply, was alive today to see how Trump supporters are being demonized, he’d be scared. 

“And then he would tell me, ‘Hey, Jason, what are you doing about it, because you can’t go anywhere. I mean, this is it. There’s nowhere for us to go.'”

CATHOLIC JESUIT Fordham UNIVERSITY Should Not Abuse Its Status as a Private Institution to Censor Free Speech

On Dec. 22, 2016, the last day of the fall semester, then-Dean of Students Keith Eldredge sent an email that incited four long years of legal action and fees. In the email, the dean denied by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) request to form a club after the United Student Government had already approved it. 

The dean wrote that he “cannot support an organization whose sole purpose is advocating political goals of a specific group, and against a specific country, when these goals conflict with … (the) values of the University,” all the while without specifying what values SJP contradicted.

In response, the members of SJP went to court, using a New York state law (article 78) that allows students to challenge a decision at a private school if the decision was contrary to the institution’s own rules, which SJP felt was the case.

The court’s decision demonstrates how profoundly Fordham’s label as a private institution has enabled it to restrict the rights of the student body.

On Dec. 22, 2020 — exactly four years after Eldredge’s letter — the New York State Appellate Court overturned the 2019 ruling and held that Fordham was actually within its rights to deny the club. The court added that SJP’s political activism could potentially be disruptive to student life and as a result, they are still fighting for recognition to this day.

The court’s decision demonstrates how profoundly Fordham’s label as a private institution has enabled it to restrict the rights of the student body. By silencing the political opinions of SJP, especially at a university where other partisan clubs exist, the Fordham administration has shown a concerning lack of support for the diversity of student opinions on campus.

Discussions and support for SJP’s case and cause have extended past campus and onto social media. The Instagram page @fordhamsjp provides its audience of 954 followers with updates on the court case, general information on the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and resources for other human rights movements. Its new posts receive hundreds of likes from the Fordham community and beyond, as the ongoing legal battle has brought the club national recognition.

@lc_sinners, a popular Instagram meme page that caters to Fordham students, has also backed SJP by posting multiple memes about Fordham’s censorship of the club, particularly attacking Fordham’s flimsy “private institution” excuse for silencing students. 

As student journalists, we at The Observer feel that free speech is crucial to the well-being of the university community. The student body cannot be expected to grow and learn in an environment where the only ideas that are permitted are those that the administration deems acceptable.

While Fordham is a private university, it still received $19.6 million in 2018 of a total of $933.5 million and $2.5 million in 2019 in government grants. When any private university receives federal funding, however minuscule, it should abide by federal law. Therefore, its students and their free speech should be protected from actions like those that Eldredge has started against SJP.

As long as this continues, it will suppress those student voices that are unsuitable for the image it wants to project.

When discussing freedom of speech at a private institution like Fordham, we would be remiss in not mentioning the case of Austin Tong. In a similar action to SJP, Tong attempted to challenge a disciplinary action in court, but his case was dismissed since it was decided that the university administration had reasonable grounds to believe that Tong’s behavior was hate speech. His case shows that SJP’s case is not the only target of Fordham censorship; however, his comments online sparked reactions of fear and condemnation within Fordham that SJP has not received.

Tong’s behavior was criticized heavily by many in the university community, and many people expressed “fears for their own safety.” Contrary to Tong, SJP has garnered a wide array of support from the Fordham community.

It is clear that Fordham has hidden behind its status as a private university — meaning that the vast majority (nearly 88%) of the revenue for the university comes from tuition and fees alone — and it abuses that power to play fast and loose with its First Amendment allowances. As long as this continues, it will suppress those student voices that are unsuitable for the image it wants to project.

As the first of its kind, SJP’s case has set the precedent for all of New York state’s private universities. College students in this state or anywhere should not be silenced for expressing their political views in a peaceful and nondiscriminatory manner, yet their freedom of speech is now in danger because of Fordham’s actions.

Moreover, all students are paying for the duct tape that Fordham is putting over SJP’s mouth. The legal fees for the SJP trial were included in our tuition bills, a shockingly improvident and uncompassionate use of money during a time when it could have been used to alleviate financial hardships wrought by COVID-19.

Is this use of funds, power and time truly in line with Fordham’s values?

But Gina Carano is out of a job as the iconic Cara Dune on The Mandalorian for posting her opinion that Cancel Culture mobs are doing to conservatives what Nazis did to the Jews before the Holocaust. Here’s her “reprehensible” post they are calling “anti-Semitic” that got her booted.

There’s nothing anti-Semitic about that post. If anything it is a warning that it can happen again to another group of people if we aren’t paying attention. Libertarian and Jewish science-fiction author, Marina Fontaine, who escaped the Soviet Union with her family in 1987, spoke to PJ Media about Carano’s firing and imagery that she used that Disney and others are calling “anti-Semitic.”

Fontaine disagrees.

Holocaust captures our imagination not only from the sheer number of the dead, but because it came from a highly civilized country. We say Never Again, and want to believe it can never happen here. So we focus on cattle cars and gas chambers, which are the iconic symbols, but forget that those came later.

It started slowly, the drip-drip-drip of propaganda combined with the steady separation of Jews from society. And people, good people would watch their neighbors banned from parks and stores or whatever, took it as proof that maybe they did do something to deserve it. And then propaganda turned to hysteria, the separation turned to dehumanizing, and the violence was the next logical step.

You could say “the Good Germans” didn’t see it coming. The rest of the civilized world was in denial because it never happened quite like that, with hate and mass murder coming strictly from propaganda, in such a civilized place, against people who posed no threat but were painted as monsters. We, here, now, have no excuse. We know how it starts, and how it ends, and silencing the people who point out the fundamental similarities will not take us off that course.

This sentiment was exactly Carano’s point. Accusing a person of being anti-Semitic for saying “Hey, the Nazi’s did this to Jews, let’s not do this again,” is crazy. But the left always takes conservatives out of context in order to harm them. Fontaine continued, “Any time a conservative mentions the Holocaust it’s somehow dishonoring the dead when it’s the opposite: It’s trying to make sure we don’t go that way again.”
We are living under a corporate tyranny run by Social Justice Warriors who are out for conservative blood. They don’t just want you unemployed, they want you to starve to death. They want you to never work again. The next step is purging you from existence. When the killing begins, don’t come to us complaining you didn’t see it coming.
A quick review of Nazi Germany leading up to the Holocaust shows us that they came for the actors and the culture first. Just because it was the Nazi government doing it and not the private companies like Disney doesn’t make it any less terrifying. Remember that this country has elected people who want to create “lists” of Trump supporters so they can blacklist them from public life. How is that different than what the Nazis did? (Spoiler: It isn’t.) Yadvashem.org has a very detailed history of what happened before the actual killing began in Germany under the Nazis.

Biden Takes ‘Death to America’ Terrorists Off Terror List, Replaces Them With Republicans

Democrats say Muslim terrorists aren’t terrorists, but their political opponents are.

The Biden administration responded to protests against its stolen election by embedding a domestic extremism office into the National Security Council. The man in charge of making it happen, Joshua Geltzer, had previously denied that Black Lives Matter was a terrorist threat and had attacked the Trump administration’s response to Antifa and BLM violence in Portland.

That means that the only domestic extremists the NSC will be fighting are Republicans.

Even while the Biden administration is preparing to double down on Obama’s abuse of the national security state to target his political opponents, it’s also giving real terrorists a pass.

Joe Biden, whose biggest bundlers included the Iran Lobby, announced he was ending support for American allies fighting the Houthis, and then went even further by preparing to remove the terrorist organization whose motto is, “Death to America”, which took American hostages and tried to kill American sailors, from the list of designated foreign terrorist organizations.

The motto of Iran’s Houthi Jihadis is, "Allahu Akbar, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse the Jews, Victory to Islam." The Houthis took over parts of Yemen as a result of the chaos unleashed by Obama’s pro-Islamist Arab Spring. Since then they’ve been engaged in a protracted war while causing a local famine by confiscating food from the local population.

Last year, the Trump administration had finally secured the release of three American hostages, Sandra Loli, an American aid worker who had been held for 3 years, another American who had been held for a year, and the body of a third American, in exchange for 240 Houthis, including three dozen Islamic terrorists who had been trained in the use of missiles and drones by Iran.

Like those launched at the USS Mason.

The Houthis lived up to their “Death to America” slogan by repeatedly launching cruise missiles at the USS Mason which had been protecting shipping in the area. And they lived up to the second half of their slogan by ethnically cleansing the remaining local Jewish population, locking them up, and confiscating their homes and land. Local reports stated that the Houthis were “cutting off water & electricity to Jewish homes and preventing Jews from purchasing food."

“No Jew would be allowed to stay here,” one of the Jewish refugees said.

The Iran-backed Islamic terrorists fight using 18,000 child soldiers. The soldiers, many abducted, some as young as 10, are taught to hate America and to kill enemies of Iran.

None of this stopped Biden’s State Department from taking the Houthis off the terror list.

“Secretary Blinken has been clear about undertaking an expeditious review of the designations of Ansarallah,” the State Department claimed. “After a comprehensive review, we can confirm that the Secretary intends to revoke the Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist designations of Ansarallah.”

‘Ansarallah’ or ‘Defenders of Allah’ is what the Houthis call themselves. Blinken had only been confirmed on Tuesday. By next Friday, he had already somehow completed the “comprehensive review”, amid all the other minor business like China, Russia, and a global pandemic, and decided that the Islamic terrorists whose motto is “Death to America” aren’t really terrorists.

How can the Biden administration deny that Islamic Jihadis backed by Iran who attacked Americans are terrorists? The State Department claimed that this, “has nothing to do with our view of the Houthis and their reprehensible conduct, including attacks against civilians and the kidnapping of American citizens." Not to mention the attacks on the USS Mason.

But the Biden administration isn’t even going to pretend to care about attacks on our military.

The Bidenites are claiming that they're taking the Houthis, whom they don't deny are terrorists, off the list of designated terrorist groups because of the "humanitarian consequences".

That’s a lie, no matter how often you hear it in the media because Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the United States would be providing licenses to “humanitarian activities conducted by non-governmental organizations in Yemen and to certain transactions and activities related to exports to Yemen of critical commodities like food and medicine.”

That’s despite the fact that the humanitarian crisis in Yemen was caused by the Houthis.

Nevertheless, the media, echoing propaganda from the Iran Lobby and Qatar, a close terrorist ally of Iran, has falsely claimed that the Houthis are the victims of the Yemen famine. A number of politicians, mostly Democrats, but some Republicans, as well as various aid groups, have pushed this same disinformation campaign about the causes of the Yemen famine.

America and its allies have spent billions providing food, medicine, and other humanitarian aid to Yemen. That aid has been seized by the Houthis who have used it for their own troops or to resell on the black market. This is a familiar problem from Syria to Somalia, and aid groups have refused to honestly address their complicity in aiding the terrorists who caused the crisis.

There’s no money in admitting that the aid an organization is providing is being seized by the terrorists, prolonging the conflict and worsening the humanitarian crisis. Some aid organizations share the same goal as the Houthis of worsening the crisis because it boosts their donations.

That’s why international aid organizations don’t want to talk about the Houthis taking their food donations, or about their use of child soldiers. “It’s a taboo,” an anonymous aid official had said.

When Secretary Pompeo announced that the United States was finally designating the Houthis a foreign terrorist organization, the United Nations took the lead in claiming that it would cause a humanitarian crisis. But the UN's World Food Program had already admitted that its food shipments weren't getting to the starving people because the Houthis were intercepting them.

The Middle East director for UNICEF also admitted that the Houthis were seizing food.

An Associated Press investigation found entire stores selling "cooking oil and flour displaying the U.N. food program’s WFP logo." The former Houthi education minister said that 15,000 food baskets that were supposed to go to hungry families instead went to the Houthi terrorists whom the Biden administration is defending. Massive amounts of aid have been pumped into Yemen, and the famine has only grown worse because the Houthis have used starvation as a weapon.

The only way to end the famine is to end Iran’s grip on Yemen through its Houthi terrorists.

That’s obviously not what Biden or the Democrats have in mind. The loudest Democrat voices against designating the Houthis as a terrorist group have a troubling history with Iran.

"Reversing the designation is an important decision that will save lives and, combined with the appointment of a Special Envoy, offers hope that President Biden is committed to bringing the war to an end,” Senator Chris Murphy tweeted.

Murphy had been among the loudest voices against the designation.

And Murphy had met with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif last year. That same year, he had advocated lowering sanctions on Iran for “humanitarian reasons”. Biden had also joined the push to use the pandemic as a pretext for reducing sanctions on the terror state.

That same year, the Left succeeded in forcing out Rep. Elliot Engel, one of the few remaining pro-Israel Democrats, and replaced him with the militantly anti-Israel Rep. Jamaal Bowman, whose election was backed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her antisemitic ‘Squad’.

Engel, who had served as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was replaced by Rep. Gregory Meeks, a strong backer of the Iran Deal. Meeks’ position was cheered by Iran Lobby groups. As far back as 2009, Meeks had declared at a hearing, “I have developed a tremendous appreciation for the work of the National Iranian American Council. I am pleased that we will hear the perspective of NIAC’s President, Mr. Trita Parsi.”

Emails released allegedly showed Parsi telling Iran's Foreign Minister, "I am having a meeting with Gilchrest and Meeks, and they asked for our assistance in getting some communication going between the parliamentarians."

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency, the official state news agency of the Islamic terrorist state, Chairman Meeks allegedly stated that he was willing to travel to Iran and had been engaged in dialogue with Iranian legislators.

Meeks took the lead in attacking the designation of the Houthi Islamic terrorists as terrorists, arguing that, “No solution in Yemen will be sustainable unless the Houthis are involved.”

And that gets at the real reason why Biden and Democrats oppose the designation.

It’s not about humanitarian aid, which would have kept on going anyway, only to be stolen by the Houthis. It’s about supporting Iran’s bid to take over parts of Yemen in order to control shipping and tighten the grip of the Islamic terrorist regime over the entire region.

The ‘diplomatic’ solution advocated by Biden and the Democrats would finalize Iran’s grip over parts of Yemen. Designating the Houthis as terrorists would get in the way of another in a series of Islamist dirty deals with Iran that began with Obama and that will continue on under Biden.

Even while the Democrats insist loudly that the Houthis must be part of the solution in Yemen, they just as vocally cry that the Republicans must be isolated and eliminated in America.

The Democrats militarized D.C. with an armed occupation and are criminalizing political dissent. They have claimed that one riot, after a year full of them by their own activist wing, requires a permanent state of emergency that will be run through the National Security Council.

The Biden administration is not only taking the Houthis, and likely other Islamic terrorist groups, off the terror list, it’s putting the domestic political opposition on its terror list. This is an extension of the same Obama policy that illegally shipped foreign cash to Iran even while it was using the NSA to spy on pro-Israel members of Congress and on the Trump campaign.

The Democrats are happy to fight terrorism by designating their domestic political opponents as terrorists while removing the “Death to America” Houthis who have kidnapped and killed Americans, who fired on the USS Mason, and ethnically cleansed Jews, from the terror list.

And what do the Houthis plan to do with their newfound support from the Biden administration?

In addition to sanctioning the Houthis, the Trump administration sanctioned three of their leaders, beginning with Abdul Malik al-Houthi. The Houthi leader has made it clear that he intends to build up the same missile program that was used to attack the USS Mason.

“To have rockets that could reach far beyond Riyadh, this is a great achievement,” he said, referring to the Saudi capital.

He also promised to send terrorists to fight against Israel.

“Many of Yemen's tribesmen are ambitious to fight against Israel, and they are looking for the day to participate along with the freemen of the Islamic nation against the Israeli enemy,"

This is the terrorist group that the Biden administration and the Democrats are bailing out even while they’re criminalizing the Republican political opposition as terrorists.

“Death to America” is something that the Houthis and their Democrat supporters can agree on.

Bank of America Sells Out Gun & Ammo Purchasers as Potential Criminals

Bank of America, it turns out, is selling out their customers who bought guns or ammunition to federal authorities

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Bank of America, it turns out, is selling out their customers who bought guns or ammunition to federal authorities as people who should be investigated for ties to the criminal acts witnessed on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6.

Tucker Carlson, of Fox News, uncovered evidence that Bank of America is turning over the private transaction records of its customers to federal investigators it believes need to be probed for “extremism” or even domestic terrorism. The chilling move by the second-largest corporate bank in America with more than 60 million customers and $2.16 trillion in assets was this:

    1. Customers confirmed as transacting, either through bank account debit card or credit card purchases in Washington, D.C. between 1/5 and 1/6.
    2. Purchases made for Hotel/Airbnb RSVPs in DC, VA, and MD after 1/6.
    3. Any purchase of weapons or at a weapons-related merchant between 1/7 and their upcoming suspected stay in D.C. area around Inauguration Day.
    4. Airline related purchases since 1/6.

Did you notice No. 3? Bank of America is vocally antigun, but this is crossing into secret lists, big brother, sci-fi truth-is-stranger-than-fiction territory. The bank’s criteria included any purchase at a gun store, but not just guns. If someone bought a t-shirt, baseball hat, or even a trigger lock, that flagged their account for “review.”

Who Told Who?

Carlson reported that Bank of America identified 211 people and turned that information over to investigators without notifying those customers their private financial transaction data was being shared without their consent. Federal authorities interviewed at least one person, and that individual was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Bank of America dodged Carlson when confronted with the allegations it was singling out customers who made a purchase at a gun store. They said, “We don’t comment on our communications with law enforcement. All banks have responsibilities under federal law to cooperate with law enforcement inquiries in full compliance with the law.”

However, “compliance with the law” here is questionable at best. Bank of America didn’t say that the FBI subpoenaed the information. They only said they “cooperated.” Carlson pointed out that banks are allowed under 12 U.S.C. 3403 to provide information that “may be relevant to a possible violation of any statute or regulation.”

In Bank of America’s estimation, visiting a gun store and buying any product, much less a firearm that is protected by the Second Amendment, is suspicious enough to put their customers on a secret watch list without their knowledge.

The New York Post interviewed New York City’s former top cop who blasted the decision to hand over private financial data.

“That’s just not a good reason to hand over private information. If that’s the way they do business now, then the people of this country really have something to worry about,” said Bernard Kerik, a security consultant who headed the NYPD in 2000 and 2001.

Another former law enforcement official called the move “a fishing expedition.”

In a follow-up, Fox News’ Mark Steyn interviewed former federal prosecutor Francey Hakes, who noted Bank of America’s response was peculiarly-absent of any mention of “search warrants, court orders or subpoenas…” Hakes noted that the Fourth Amendment protects against searches that aren’t “particularized” or when a judge signs off an order to search the records of a specific individual based on evidence.

“Financial information is highly private in this country and is given heightened protection,” she added.

Telegraphed Move

So far, JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo haven’t responded if they’ve conducted similar internal search efforts of customer information. Yet, this follows an antigun animus by Bank of America. In 2018, Bank of America announced they would end financial relationships with manufacturers of modern sporting rifles, which they erroneously called “military-style rifle.” The move followed a similar announcement by Citigroup.

Delving into private transactions and using big banks to approve of purchases isn’t a new idea. In fact, this is the fulfillment of New York Times’ columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin’s call for such action and who proposed the notion in 2017 and 2018. It was later parroted by Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke as a potential gun control program.

It also shouldn’t be surprising that big banks with antigun agendas are emboldened to violate their customers’ privacy, turn them out and label them as “extremist” and “domestic terrorist.” The Biden administration yanked the publication of the “Fair Access” banking rule by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. That gave banks the green light to continue to openly discriminate against firearm business, which is just privatization with a wink-and-nod to continue the illegal Operation Choke Point that was begun under the Obama administration.

It is no longer the Bank of America. It is a gun control cabal working to undermine American freedoms, label gun owners as criminals, and use their customers’ money and information as the tools to get it done. Welcome to the Bank of Gun Control America.

NEW DHS DIRECTOR AND DACA ‘CHIEF ARCHITECT’ ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS ENDORSED BY LA RAZA, OTHER PRO-AMNESTY GROUPS

On Tuesday, Alejandro “Ali” Nicholas Mayorkas was sworn in as Director of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the newly-installed Joe Biden. Mayorkas, who was born in Cuba, has been referred to as the “chief architect” of former President Obama’s amnesty plan known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

This, on the same day Joe Biden signed three new executive orders reversing President Trump’s immigration policies. As reported at RAIR, Joe Biden intends on increasing the number of “refugees” by 700 percent.

Mayorkas has engaged in cronyism for his entire career, protecting those in positions of power. For example, Alejandro Mayorkas was infamously involved in the Clinton-era pardon of the drug-trafficking son of Democrat donor Horacio Vignali. Along that vein, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) also criticized the new swamp leader:

“As a high-ranking official in the Obama administration, Mr. Mayorkas did his best to turn US Citizenship and Immigration Services into an unethical favor factory for Democratic Party royalty — governors, the DNC chair, Hollywood executives, a Senate majority leader from Nevada, they all received special treatment to a degree that stunned and disturbed the Obama administration’s own inspector general.”

Mayorkas vowed to “end construction of the Mexico border wall in accordance with Biden’s directive, even though Congress in December approved $1.4 billion in new funds for the project,” as reported at the New York Post. Mayorkas continued to say that he will look into what can be done with the wall that has already been built, signaling that the newly installed lunatics in the federal government would actively remove the border wall.

The White House tweeted about the Mayorkas appointment last month, which featured a list of pro-amnesty endorsers (see video below), including big unions United Farm Workers, SEIU and AFL-CIO, as well as radical groups such as the Soros-Funded UnidosUS (formerly National Council of La Raza), the Coalition for the American Dream, and Community Change.

“Thou Shalt Not!” – Big Tech’s Censorious Commandments

The Orwellian censors at Twitter banned Lindell on January 26 for promoting what the Fake News Media repeatedly refer to as “baseless claims” of voter fraud. “Twitter has permanently banned My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell’s account after he continually perpetuated the baseless claim that Donald Trump won the 2020 U.S. presidential election,” the Associated Press reported on January 26.

Of course, Twitter’s Ministry of Truth had already banned President Donald Trump a couple of weeks earlier — along with tens of thousands of other Americans who had one way or another stepped over Big Tech’s arbitrary and ever-changing political correctness line-in-the-sand. Among the “Thou shalt not” absolutes now being ruthlessly enforced by the Big Tech oligarchy: any mention of election fraud; any mention of COVID-19 fraud; any opposition to COVID-19 lockdowns; any opposition to COVID-19 mask mandates; any questioning or challenging of COVID-19 vaccines; any opposition to mandatory vaccines; any challenge to LGBTQ political correctness; etc., etc., etc.

But political correctness is not in Mike Lindell’s DNA. The outspoken businessman is a fervent evangelical Christian whose drug addict-to-CEO life story is a remarkable and inspiring example of the power of grace, prayer, and heroic perseverance. After years of alcohol and drug abuse, he invented the “My Pillow” pillow in 2004, and has grown it into a bedding company with over 100 products and hundreds of employees.

In 2020, Mr. Lindell served as the state chairman of President Trump’s campaign in Lindell’s home state of Minnesota, and he is a staunch supporter of the president’s efforts to expose massive voter fraud and election cyber warfare by China.

Lindell is an ardent pro-life, pro-family advocate and reportedly contributed $1 million for the movie Unplanned, the true biopic about Abby Johnson, the director of a large Planned Parenthood abortion center who converted to Christianity and has become a pro-life crusader. At the end of the movie, Lindell has a cameo role as the driver of the bulldozer that knocks down the Planned Parenthood sign.

All Not Well at Newsmax

Now he is fighting an even bigger battle against even bigger odds, while being censored and de-platformed by the liberal-left media and social media companies. As if all that isn’t bad enough, Lindell also faced a hostile “interview” and censorship on the conservative network Newsmax on February 2, during which anchor Bob Sellers repeatedly interrupted Lindell, then got up out of his chair and stormed off the set. Sellers insisted that Newsmax was not going to allow Lindell to discuss election fraud, asserting that the election had been certified and settled. Sellers’ outrageous treatment of Lindell and his insistence on adopting the Big Media/Big Tech party line of unquestioning acceptance of the official election results reportedly caused considerable blowback from Newsmax viewers. In a subsequent episode, Sellers apologized for his over-the-top reaction and referred to Lindell as “a friend of the network.”

The Sellers escapade adds to other concerns that Newsmax may be drifting the way of Fox. The hiring of disgraced former ABC/NBC pundit Mark Halperin has been cause for concern. As the result of charges of sexual harassment by multiple women, Halperin was bounced from NBC in 2017. Although he denied some of the particular charges, he apologized for “inappropriate” behavior and said he was going to “properly deal with this situation.” However, aside from Halperin’s status as “damaged goods,” there is his left-wing persuasion and pedigree. His father, Morton Halperin, is a notorious far-left/pro-communist activist who has worked for the ACLU, the Carnegie Endowment, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and the Center for American Progress. Morton Halperin is currently a senior advisor to George Soros’s Open Society Foundations and has been closely involved with the subversive Institute for Policy Studies and the pro-communist National Lawyers Guild.

Mark Halperin’s father, Morton Halperin, and his brother, David Halperin, are members of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations. In 2019, Mark Halperin came out with a campaign-themed book entitled How To Beat Trump: America’s Top Political Strategists On What It Will Take. A gaggle of left-wing Democrats assisted him in this effort to rehabilitate his career: Donna Brazile, James Carville, David Axelrod, Jennifer Granholm, Kathleen Sebelius, Bob Shrum, Anita Dunn, Karen Dunn — and others.

Then there’s the troubling political “evolution” of Newsmax founder and CEO Christopher Ruddy. Not only has he given $1 million to the Clinton Foundation, but has also become something of a buddy of and cheerleader for Bill Clinton, opining that Clinton “was a pretty good president in a lot of ways.” Ruddy the executive has come a long way since his investigative journalism days tracking Bill and Hillary Clinton’s crime spree. His 1997 book The Strange Death of Vincent Foster was a damning indictment of the Clintons — and of the media and government cover-up of the Foster murder, which (like the Jeffrey Epstein death) has been officially ruled a suicide. Now Ruddy calls himself a “moderate conservative” and has adopted Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch’s modus operandi of cozying up to both political parties.

Are the Bob Sellers/Mike Lindell dust-up, the Mark Halperin hiring, and Chris Ruddy’s political “mellowing” signs that Newsmax may be drifting in the same leftward direction as Fox, even while staking out a conservative-sounding agenda to lure in Fox defectors? Something to think about.

Apple refused to give the FBI encrypted data from a phone belonging to Muslim terrorists who killed 14 people. Google refused to do artificial intelligence work for the Pentagon but then did work helping China censor its own people. But Bank of America (BoA) had no problem handing over the private information of innocent customers — to federal investigators on a witch hunt for Capitol riot “right-wing extremists.”

Well, it’s plain what side corporate America is now on: everyone but yours.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported on the BoA story last night, saying:

“Tucker Carlson Tonight” has exclusively obtained evidence that Bank of America, the second-largest bank in the country with more than 60 million customers, is actively but secretly engaged in the hunt for extremists in cooperation with the government. Bank of America is, without the knowledge or the consent of its customers, sharing private information with federal law enforcement agencies. Bank of America effectively is acting as an intelligence agency, but they’re not telling you about it.

In the days after the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, Bank of America went through its own customers’ financial and transaction records. These were the private records of Americans who had committed no crime; people who, as far as we know, had absolutely nothing to do with what happened at the Capitol. But at the request of federal investigators, Bank of America searched its databases looking for people who fit a specific profile.

Here’s what that profile was: “1. Customers confirmed as transacting, either through bank account debit card or credit card purchases in Washington, D.C. between 1/5 and 1/6. 2. Purchases made for Hotel/Airbnb RSVPs in DC, VA, and MD after 1/6. 3. Any purchase of weapons or at a weapons-related merchant between 1/7 and their upcoming suspected stay in D.C. area around Inauguration Day. 4. Airline related purchases since 1/6.”

The first thing you should notice about that profile is that it’s remarkably broad. Any purchases of anything in Washington, D.C.; any overnight stay anywhere in an area spanning three jurisdictions and hundreds of miles; any purchase not just of legal firearms, but anything bought from a “weapons-related merchant,” T-shirts included; and any airline-related purchases — not just flights to Washington, but flights to anywhere, from Omaha to Thailand. That is an absurdly wide net.

Bank of America identified a total of 211 customers who met these “thresholds of interest.” At that point, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” has learned, Bank of America turned over the results of its internal scan to federal authorities, apparently without notifying the customers who were being spied upon. Federal investigators then interviewed at least one of these unsuspecting people. That person, we’ve learned, hadn’t done anything wrong and was cleared.

BoA claims it was just complying with the law, but Carlson asserts (video below) that this isn’t true. The bank had a choice — and unlike Apple, it chose not to resist the feds’ request.

As with Apple, however, BoA decided to take the anti-American position. Speaking volumes is that in Apple’s case, the FBI was merely asking for information from the phone of a terrorist, Syed Rizwan Farook, who’d already committed a heinous crime; he was one of two people who perpetrated the 2015 San Bernardino shooting, which claimed 14 lives.

In contrast, the BoA customers are completely innocent; their only crime is fitting the wrong profile. Don’t misunderstand, profiling is a legitimate criminological method — but it’s only legitimately used when the ends are valid.

In this case, being advanced is “Reichstag fire” opportunism. The Capitol riot was not an “insurrection” as was CHAZ, the forcible, armed, left-wing takeover of Seattle streets last year. It was not racially driven (“white supremacism”) as is Black Lives Matter. It wasn’t authored by forces seeking the government’s overthrow, as is Antifa. Its members didn’t wear masks à la Antifa, either.

The rioters also weren’t part of an organized destabilization effort responsible for approximately 600 riots, often involving looting and arson, during the last year. That would be, again, Antifa and BLM.

Of course, if the government had put the kind of effort into combating Antifa/BLM that they’re putting into the current witch hunt, we wouldn’t have had 600 violent riots, thousands of destroyed businesses, and the resulting deaths.

Antifa/BLM action is an actual threat while the “threat” of white supremacists, a vanishingly small group, is an illusion. But they do share a commonality: Antifa/BLM and white supremacists both are used to advance leftist power — by serving as, respectively, shock troops and scapegoats.

In the latest excess of radical left cancel culture, the San Francisco School Board has voted to rename 44 public schools after a biased and historically inaccurate report judged their namesakes to be unworthy of the honor.

Famous Americans whose names are to be stricken from the schools include Founding Fathers George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, as well as less obvious targets such as California Senator Dianne Feinstein, a radical Democrat. Feinstein's crime? While mayor of San Francisco in 1984, she replaced a Confederate Flag which stood as part of a larger display outside City Hall, after it was vandalized and removed by activists. The display featured 18 flags and was intended to showcase the stages of America's history. 

So flagrantly politicized were the renaming decisions, that they sparked the furor of Democratic activist group, Families for San Francisco, which denounced the school board's decision-making process in a lengthy report. 

Families for San Francisco condemned the School Names Advisory Committee which selected the 44 schools to be renamed, noting that "The Committee was not guided or informed by professional historians or any other parties with the historical expertise required for the Committee to do its work" and  "As a result...The Guiding Principles used by the Committee was a 'Just One Thing' test, where a historical figure was to be removed from a school name on the basis of just a single incident from a list of criteria."

The similarities to leftist cancel culture did not end there. Additionally, the report points out that "The research process consisted of reviewing the names of schools 'pretty quick with some really casual Google searches,'" and "numerous factual errors were made, and relevant historical context was often not processed or considered." Zoom recordings of the naming committee's meetings show that Abraham Lincoln was discussed for under five seconds before being rejected as a suitable namesake for San Francisco schools.

The "Guiding Principles" used by the Committee to make its decisions held that "We will seek to change the names of schools that are named for: Anyone directly involved in the colonization of people; Slave owners or participants in enslavement; Perpetrators of genocide or slavery; Those who exploit workers/people; Those who directly oppressed or abused women, children, queer or transgender people; Those connected to any human rights or environmental abuses; Those who are known racists and/or white supremacists and/or espoused racist beliefs."

As overarching and subjective as these guidelines are, the Naming Committee compounded their failure by failing to apply their own rules equally to all historical figures. Families for San Francisco points to the case of civil rights leader Malcolm X as an example: "The Committee was going to decide quickly not to recommend Malcolm X Academy for renaming until one of the members pointed out there was historical evidence that Malcolm X had “directly oppressed or abused women.” A ten-minute discussion followed that rationalized reinterpreting the Guiding Principles to consider all Malcolm X had done in his life in order not to recommend the school for renaming. To be crystal clear, we agree wholeheartedly that Malcolm X should be judged by the entirety of his life. The same is true of all other historical figures."  

“We are applying impossible standards for naming when even Abraham Lincoln doesn’t qualify for this honor,” Jennifer Raiser, a longtime San Francisco author and activist, told the New York Post. “We are sending a message to our kids that even if you do your best and make some mistakes, you are not good enough.”

When even San Francisco leftists think your attempts to rewrite history and erase America's founding have gone to far, maybe it's time to give your crusade another look.
