Laura Ingraham Hits Trump for Endorsing Oz in Senate Race

Laura Ingraham is none too pleased with Donald Trump’s endorsement of Mehmet Oz for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, or Sean Hannity’s for that matter.

Oz is seeking the Republican nomination and hopes to replace the retiring Pat Toomey (R-PA).

On Tuesday’s Ingraham Angle, the Fox News host played years-old clips of Oz expressing concerns about climate change, the ability of mentally unwell people to purchase firearms, and states enacting strict anti-abortion laws. For Ingraham, his previous positions on these issues are disqualifying.

The host welcomed former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway to the show to discuss the endorsement. Conway has endorsed Dave McCormick in the primary.

“Do you think the Trump endorsement of Oz was a mistake?” Ingraham asked Conway.

“Well, President Trump’s endorsement in these Republican primaries is a highly sought after and deeply consequential piece of political currency. So many people want it, they make the trek to Bedminster or Mar-a-Lago–”

The host cut her off and asked, “Was it a mistake, Kellyanne?”

Rather than talk up her preferred candidate – McCormick – Conway praised Trump, who was on the record as being pro-abortion until he ran for president. She said he had a “conversion” on the issue. She also accused Oz of making “rookie mistakes.”

Ingraham then noted that her Fox News colleague Sean Hannity is partial to Oz.

“Hannity, I think, I believe endorsed Oz and I think that’s, you know, that’s probably not inconsequential for President Trump,” she said. “You wouldn’t answer the question whether it was a mistake. I think it was a mistake to endorse Oz. I’ll say it. I’m not afraid to say it. It was a mistake to endorse Oz.”

So the upturned thumb tells us all we need to know? (Dr. Mehmet Oz/Facebook)

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “This is all about winning elections in order to stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country,” Donald Trump declared Saturday in his “Endorsement of Dr. Oz.” “Dr. Oz is Pro-Life, very strong on Crime, the Border, Election Fraud, our Great Military, and our Vets, Tax Cuts, and will always fight for and support our under-siege Second Amendment.”

A skeptical reaction by the Fletcher character from The Outlaw Josie Wales comes to mind. As does a nagging suspicion about being played.

Hey, someone’s gotta say it.

Regular readers of this column will remember the documentation of Oz’s stances on guns before he was running for office, including hosting “This Is Our Lane: Doctors Speak about Gun Violence,” endorsing infringements “including the banning of semiautomatic firearms” under the guise of “public health,” and further using his mass media platform to “sell” due process-denying “red flag laws” to his low-information audience.

The Gun Feed provided further irrefutable evidence of where Oz’s sympathies lie, including his call for fans to contact Congress to get the CDC back into the anti-gun advocacy through junk science business, and his Moms Demand Action-promoted hosting of anti-gun Rep. Lucy McBath.

“If the former president backs him that will tell all but the most self-deluded ‘3D chess’ apologists all they need to know,” I noted at the time.

Not quite.  The guy made a name for himself on TV by firing people. Perhaps if he was better at picking them in the first place, he wouldn’t need to end up angrily attacking so many he had nothing but high praise for in the beginning.

Consider all the wonderful things he said about William BarrChristopher WrayJeff SessionsMike PenceAnthony Scaramucci“Mad Dog” MattisMark Milley, and more.

Then consider how he described them and their qualifications after their fallings out, respectively: BarrWraySessionsPenceScaramucciMattisMilley

That’s not to say Trump was wrong in his final assessments, but we’re talking about his initial ones here. And noting he’s a man who puts the highest priority on being perceived as a winner, we see the reason he has nothing but superlatives in his latest endorsement:

“Perhaps most importantly, I believe that Mehmet Oz will be the one most able to win the General Election against a Radical Left Democrat looking to do unthinkable harm to our Country.”

How electing someone the smart money says will be a leader in future Republican “compromises” on guns will be a “win” (for anyone who cares about the right to keep and bear arms) is left unstated. But it’s bigger than that, though, right? We need a Republican Senate majority so we can stop dangerous Biden appointments, like the recently confirmed Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, pushed over the top by two other Trump endorsees Susan Collins, and Mitt Romney.

Speaking of that process, it’s on Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans to explain why they didn’t even try to deny a quorum and prevent the vote from coming to the floor. It’s also on each of the national “gun rights groups” that did not urge their members to pressure them, and are now using the existential threat Jackson represents to solicit donations. There was no chance? How would they know without a committed fight, and how would that fight, and its risks, compare against the ones their members will now be forced into?

Now, in Pennsylvania, gun owners will once more be forced into a “lesser of two evils” decision, and one that can’t be resolved in the primary.  Trump’s first choice, Sean Parnell, appeared to be on track with key “conservative” issues, including guns and immigration but suspended his campaign after being accused of abuse by his estranged wife. The other alternative is globalist “Bush Republican” David McCormick who throws gun owners this bone while wearing the obligatory orange vest and cap:

“Protecting our 2nd Amendment Rights – Dave grew up hunting on his family’s farm in Bloomsburg and remains a hunter to this day. He is a strong believer in our Second Amendment rights and will stand up against the extreme left who want to abolish our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.”

An identical testimonial, equally as weasel-worded and meaningless, could have been offered up by Fudds for Biden. This is the best that Pennsylvania Republicans can offer, and the most that Pennsylvania gun owners have the clout to demand? Over the years acceptance of oath-breaking lumps like Tom Ridge, Arlen Specter, and Pat Toomey have convinced the establishment that they can get away with serial betrayals and never pay a price at the polls.

Left unaddressed is what the effects of taking fire out of bellies will have on voter turnout. Won‘t everyone be surprised, including Donald Trump considering his prospects for a 2024 comeback, if their best-laid schemes result in John FettermanMalcolm Kenyatta, or Conor Lamb taking home the prize?

Kamala Harris Claims She Would Get Better Media Coverage If She Were a White Man

Kilmeade Calls Kamala Harris a ‘Complaintaholic Who Just Wants to Be Anointed President’

When even that indefatigable cheerleader for the hard Left, the New York Times, admits that a Leftist politician is in trouble, you can be sure that the trouble is very deep. The Times’ lengthy exploration of “the frustrations of Kamala Harris” was sympathetic, but the article’s subtitle summed up the crisis Harris is experiencing: The vice president’s allies are increasingly concerned that President Biden relied on her to win but does not need her to govern.” Of course, the people who are running things don’t need Old Joe to govern, either, but that’s another story. Harris, in any case, has a ready explanation for why she is failing at one of the easiest jobs in the world: racism, of course. Come on, man! What else could it be?

Harris’ explanation for her failings and the concomitant negative coverage she has received is buried in the thirteenth paragraph of the Times article, and even there it is tossed off casually: “Ms. Harris has privately told her allies that the news coverage of her would be different if she were any of her 48 predecessors, all of whom were white and male.”

This is exactly the explanation that will fly with much of the vice president’s base, who see themselves as perpetually victimized in this inveterately “white supremacist” country. That’s what the Left’s hysterical propaganda about “systemic racism” is all about: anytime a “person of color” such as Harris fails, she or he has a ready means to deflect responsibility onto someone else, that is, onto everyone’s favorite whipping boy, the white man.

And so now if Harris were “any of her 48 predecessors” as vice president, she says she would be receiving more favorable news coverage because if anything is true of the far-Left propaganda organs known as the mainstream media, it is that they are so systemically racist that can always be counted on to be kinder to a white male than to a female person of color.

Thus if Harris were Mike Pence or Dick Cheney, or Dan Quayle, or Spiro Agnew or Richard M. Nixon, she would be getting better press coverage now. If she were tainted by connection to Trump, or linked to the Iraq war or to corrupt dealings or Watergate, or thought of as an imbecile, the media would be giving her a pass right now, if only she were a white male. After all, the media never whispered a negative word about those vice presidents, or other luminaries who held the nation’s second spot, did they? They had the magic key: they were white men.

It’s hard to imagine that Kamala Harris actually believes this. Was she asleep for the first 56 years of her life? Did she not witness the staggeringly negative coverage those men and others got, which demonstrated that white men do not get and never have gotten a pass in the media?

Related: Kamala’s Response to the Question of Whether She Feels Underused Might Not Be What You’d Expect

Harris didn’t limit her bitter comparison to her immediate predecessors, either. Does she think that if John C. Breckinridge, who was vice president from 1857 to 1861 and then became a Confederate general, were suddenly to reappear in these hypersensitive times, that he would get more favorable coverage as a “racist” and “white supremacist” than she is getting now? There is no end to the absurdities that her comment leads to, but the primary example of how ridiculous the vice president is in saying this is close at hand. Has the vice president forgotten about a certain Donald J. Trump, by all accounts a white man, and the recipient of the most viciously negative media coverage in the history of the United States?

Harris almost certainly knows that her comment is achingly stupid. But she also knows that it’s good politics, from her vantage point, to throw red meat to the blue rubes, constantly reinforcing the sense of grievance and entitlement that the Democrat party so carefully cultivates and keeping alive a red flame of bitterness and anger that reliably gets Democrats elected. Without “systemic racism,” where would the Democrat party be today? Without its false claims of deep structural inequalities in the American system, no one would be moved to vote for an anti-American socialist party that wants to plunder Americans for the benefit of a globalist oligarchy.

Donald Trump campaigned on the slogan “Make America Great Again,” and worked to do so while he was president. Kamala Harris, by contrast, has only been elected to the various offices she has won by campaigning on the premise that America is actually a terrible place, full of racism and inequality, such that even when a little brown girl grows up to be vice president of the United States, there is the White Man again, making sure she cannot succeed.

It’s vicious mythology, and if it isn’t checked, it’s going to do nothing less than destroy this nation.

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban: Mass migration part of ‘global plan’ to create a ‘new proletariat’

BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS

Hungary, which has a Christian constitution, has been unwavering in defending its culture and rule of law, and protecting its citizens from Islamization. In its preamble, the Hungarian constitution declares its Christianity and its role in preserving nationhood. It also honors its “forebears who fought for the survival, freedom and independence” of Hungary.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been vocal about his country’s determination to reject open-door immigration in order to preserve Hungarian culture. He has put a stop to illegal Muslim migrants trying to storm in, by building a wall. The EU has condemned Orban for his stance as he continues to expose the goals of globalists.

Responsible immigration while upholding the rule of law and national security should be a priority for every nation. Instead, these important attributes of any leader have been virtually abandoned by “progressive” globalists and weak so-called conservative leaders (such as Boris Johnson).

Ahead of European Parliament elections in 2019, Orban stated in a speech:

“We wish for the veil to fall from the eyes of the people of Europe, so they can see and understand that without Christian culture there will be no free life in Europe,” said Orban, who sees Muslim immigrants as threats to Europe’s lifestyle. “Without defending our Christian culture, we will lose Europe and Europe will no longer belong to Europeans.”

“Orban: Mass Migration Agenda Part of ‘Global Plan’ to Create ‘New Proletariat’ in the West,” by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, September 24, 2021:

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes the mass migration agenda is part of a “global plan” to create a “new proletariat” in the West, advanced by people who care nothing for culture and national identity and consider only economics.

Speaking at the 4th Budapest Demographic Conference, organised as a forum where pro-family policies and other measures to reverse population decline without resorting to mass immigration, Orbán addressed attendees including former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, the President of Serbia, the Serbian President of Bosnia, and the prime ministers of Slovakia and Slovenia, noting that the cause of national conservatism had “suffered sensitive political losses” in recent years.

“President Trump was not able to continue his work” in the United States after January 2021, he lamented, while former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now in opposition — “and God knows what will happen in Germany this Sunday” when Angela Merkel’s notionally centre-right party may be displaced by a left-wing government possibly including the communist Marxist Left Party in national elections.

“Like those before me, we are concerned about the advent of the New Marxist, New Leftist ‘woke’ movement, as it is called in America. We can see that already in kindergartens they want to miseducate our children; they use children as Pride activists, they are telling children about the ‘free choice of genre — this is part of the New Marxist ‘woke’ programme,” he warned.

Decades of Soviet communist domination, however, has “inoculated” former Eastern Bloc countries such as Hungary and Poland against “the ‘woke’ virus”, in his view — “our history is protecting us against the cultural left.”

As a result, the Hungarian leader suggested, his government and likeminded administrations in the region can see the divide on demographics more clearly.

“Is it a problem that the population is in decline?” he asked.

“The West… just does not want to maintain itself. Let’s not beat around the bush: certain civilisations are able to reproduce; the Western civilisation is not able to reproduce — so much so that they are unable to decide whether this is a problem at all.

“Some are of the opinion that this is not a problem, and they argue that by increasing productivity and by developing technology fewer people will be able to generate more goods, more public good. Mechanised production, artificial intelligence, an automated economy — human labour doesn’t count anymore. That is the technocratic, Silicon Valley solution,” he explained.

“And there are others who sense the problem of declining demographics and they want migration. They believe alien peoples from distant lands should be moved in and that will stop the demographic decline. But mass migration… the millions of people who have been lured here, are basically a global plan of moving in the new proletariat,” he accused, adding that the promoters of this worldview “do not take into account the cultural aspect of democracy.”…..

Former ‘Anonymous’ Trump Official Says Trump Supporters Are a Bigger Threat Than Al-Qaeda and ISIS

My latest in PJ Media:

Great news for diehard Never-Trumpers: Miles Taylor has popped up again, this time going on MSNBC to warn people that the “radicalized elements of the Republican Party now represent a bigger threat to our democracy than organizations like al-Qaeda or ISIS ever did.” It’s as ridiculous as it is ominous, and it’s clear from such over-the-top hyperbole and defamation that Miles Taylor and his ilk actually represent a bigger threat to our republic than anything they’re fearmongering about on MSNBC.

In case you’ve already forgotten, as most people have, Miles Taylor shot to a kind of fame in September 2018, when he wrote an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times that was one of the first open acknowledgments that there was a coterie of federal bureaucrats that is determined to thwart Trump’s agenda by any means possible: “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration: I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.”

Taylor followed that up in November 2019 with the ostentatiously anonymous book A Warning, one of the first publications in what became a cottage industry of Trump-is-stupid-and-evil books. A Warning was credited to “A Senior Trump Administration Official”; both the op-ed and the book gave rise to a great deal of speculation as to who the author really was: John Kelly? John Bolton? Mike Pence? The disappointment was palpable when Anonymous turned out not to be a senior Trump administration official at all, but just little Miles Taylor, a thirty-something former chief of staff to the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. That’s right: a nonentity.

But Miles Taylor hates Trump, and that was his ticket. He became a CNN contributor and regular establishment media talking head, ever ready to stoke the fires of Trump derangement whenever called upon to do so. But Miles’ latest MSNBC appearance was so outlandish, so extreme, so utterly insane in its Trump-hatred that it suggests that the glamor of “Anonymous” is wearing off, and Taylor is desperately casting about for a way to remain a media darling. His plan seems to be to throw ever-larger rhetorical grenades.

Nicolle Wallace asked Taylor on Wednesday if he thought that “the insurrectionists were domestic terrorists.” If Taylor had had any integrity at all (but of course that ship sailed long ago), he would have responded that not only were the “insurrectionists” not domestic terrorists, but they weren’t even “insurrectionists.” Instead, he claimed that he had discussed the matter with “a very prominent former U.S. commander who said there are elements of the GOP that are starting to look like the jihadists that he used to fight in Afghanistan and Iraq, spreading lies and conspiracy theories to radicalize a population.”

There is more. Read the rest here.

Trump Praises Arizona Republicans Spearheading Election Audit at Rally

BY RICK MORAN

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

More than 5,000 enthusiastic Trump supporters showed up at the Arizona Federal Theater in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon at a “Protect Our Elections” rally featuring former President Donald Trump and several candidates looking to run for senator and governor.

They came seeking Trump’s blessing and support. Supporters came to hear Trump. The media came to belittle Trump supporters and hear the former president insist that the 2020 presidential election was riddled with fraud.

Everyone who came got pretty much what they wanted.

Politico:

The Republican-controlled Maricopa County government has strongly opposed the review conducted by a company called Cyber Ninjas, whose founder has backed Trump’s claims of a stolen election.

Trump repeatedly praised the efforts of the Arizona Senate’s audit, as he has done previously in a stream of press releases issued from his private post-presidency residence in Mar-a-Lago. “You’ve created a movement all over the country,” Trump said.

The audit has split Arizona Republicans at a time when the incumbent Democratic, Sen. Mark Kelly, is a prime target of the national party and is extremely vulnerable. Trump poured a little gasoline on the fire when he went after Governor Doug Ducey for his lukewarm support of the former president’s fraud claims.

In lengthy diatribes on his loss, he blamed Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, former Vice President Mike Pence and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, while defending the actions of his former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

“Like it or not we are becoming a Communist county,” he said, targeting the media over its coverage of Biden and his son, Hunter, during the election.

Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward came in for some effusive praise from the former president.

“Republican Party Chairwoman — somebody that has tremendous courage,” Trump said of Ward.

“She’s really a fighter and she fights your governor who doesn’t do a damn thing,” Trump said, referring to Ducey.

Trump then attacked Ducey for not being “very popular” at rallies.

Ward, who ran for Senate unsuccessfully twice, is running for the Senate in 2022. Trump’s support would make her a formidable primary candidate in what’s shaping up to be a crowded field.

Trump repeated many of the claims made by the auditors about the results in Maricopa County.

AZCentral:

Among them was the claim that “74,000 mail-in ballots were counted with no clear record of them being sent,” he said. “Nobody knows where the hell they are.”

But county elections officials have said the claim is rooted in misinformation.

They say the Cyber Ninjas, the Senate’s auditors, did not understand the way early ballots are tracked. The county keeps two files that must record returned ballots at different points in time. These votes are later are combined into one “voted file” document. Anyone looking at just one of those files would not get the full picture.

Trump went after those pushing transexual rights, alluding to his desire to coach a team made up entirely of trans athletes. The crowd loved it.

He even speculated about NBA superstar LeBron James transitioning and playing women’s basketball.

In case the national media was wondering, Trump is still popular, he still has the power to make or break a candidate, and he still thinks the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.

Lincoln Project Scam Creates Franklin Subsidiary. Outfit That Protected Homosexual Stalker Plans to Connect With School Kids

BY R. CORT KIRKWOOD

SEE: https://thenewamerican.com/lincoln-project-scam-creates-franklin-subsidiary-outfit-that-protected-homosexual-stalker-plans-to-connect-with-school-kids/;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

In February, the scamsters at the disgraced Lincoln Project announced an “independent probe” to explain how the project’s masters permitted founder John Weaver to use his position to solicit at least 21 young men for sex.

Apparently, the group hasn’t had time to wrap up that investigation. But they have had time to concoct another scheme to separate gullible liberals from their money: the Franklin Project.

It will create a curriculum for school kids, kindergarten through grade 12, and also recruit a nationwide “Democracy Corps.” The project will focus on “civility” and “decency,” something of a rich claim coming from people who denounced Trump supporters as rubes and hillbillies.

Fool Them Twice

A video at the Lincoln Project’s Twitter feed opens with the word civility and its definition against a black screen. It’s a “way of approaching debate with constructing dialogue, focusing on results that benefit the community,” the video says.

The video segues into photos of late presidents Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson shaking hands. “We’re at our best when we’re all moving the same direction,” former President Barack Hussein Obama intones as the photos roll by.

You needn’t be Ben Franklin to know what direction that is, but anyway, the video explains that “democracy is born out of civility,” and “is more than an idea.” More photos show former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush standing together, and then President Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence wearing masks and bumping elbows.

Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming, recently dumped from the House GOP leadership because of her obsession with former President Trump, explains that “we must love America so much that we will stand above politics to defend her.”

“Franklin organizers believe civics discussions have devolved from an exchange of ideas to ‘an unhealthy game of winners and losers,’ as their prospectus states, Axios reported. “That’s triggered extreme partisanship, fueling the rise of authoritarian figures.”

Frighteningly, the scamsters who permitted a homosexual stalker to harass and bully young men and boys — one of whom was 14 years old — will provide “a K-12 civics education program it will offer free to local school districts.”

The Franklinites will also create a “Democracy Corps” to “advocate for and amplify the values upon which America was founded.”

Greg Jenkins, who toiled for globalist George W. Bush, explained why the Lincoln Project founders created the subsidiary.

“There are plenty of frustrated people out there who don’t know what to do, don’t know where to go, they don’t feel like either of the parties are representing them adequately, and they’re right,” he told Axios. “So, what we will do is tell these folks, ‘Listen, you’re not alone.’”

Continued Jenkins:

We’re going to provide you content that reminds you about your roles — as a citizen, what it means to be a citizen, what you can do.

If progressives and conservatives don’t feel at home with us, then they have a problem. Self-identified Republicans and Democrats ought to feel perfectly at home.

Civility and Decency?

If Jenkins is to focus on “civility” and decency,” he’ll probably need to speak with Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson, a washed-up political hack who, like other principals, banked oodles of money with the hate-Trump scam.

Early last year, “civility” advocate Wilson had quite the time ridiculing Trump supporters as a “boomer rube” demographic.

“Donald Trump’s the smart one, and there all y’all, y’all elitists are duuuumb,” Wilson said on CNN. Of course, he affected a fake Southern accent.

Whatever the IQ of Trump supporters, Wilson isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. He thought people would believe that Lincoln project founders didn’t know about Weaver’s homosexual stalking.

“Stop the lying,” project founder George Conway finally tweeted. The project’s principals were well aware of Weaver’s stalking, he averred.

At the height of the scandal, the Associated Press divulged that some project principals lined their pockets. “Of the $90 million Lincoln Project has raised,” AP reported, “more than $50 million has gone to firms controlled by the group’s leaders.”

The project’s donations page, which closed at the height of the scandal, has re-opened

Credulous leftists who believe in “civility” and “decency” can start donating again.

200 Fascist Simon & Schuster Employees Demand Publisher Drop Books They Disagree With

BY ROBERT SPENCER

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/05/fascist-simon-schuster-employees-demand-publisher-drop-books-they-disagree-with;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Proving once again that inside every “progressive” is a totalitarian screaming to get out. My latest in FrontPage:

Over 200 employees of Simon & Schuster have gone full fascist, signing a petition calling on the publishing giant to stop providing a platform for everyone except fellow leftist fascists. The haters of the freedom of speech made three demands:

1. Cancel the two-book deal with Mike Pence and do not sign any more book deals with former members of the Trump administration.
2. End Simon & Schuster’s distribution deal with Post Hill Press [which publishes conservative books].
3. Commit to ongoing reevaluations of all clients, authors, distribution deals, and all other financial commitments that promote white supremacist content and/or harm the aforementioned marginalized communities.

The fascists claimed that “when S&S chose to sign Mike Pence, we broke the public’s trust in our editorial process, and blatantly contradicted previous public claims in support of Black and other lives made vulnerable by structural oppression. Simon & Schuster has chosen complicity in perpetuating white supremacy by publishing Mike Pence and continuing to distribute books for Post Hill Press, including predator Matt Gaetz’s FIREBRAND. By choosing to publish Mike Pence, Simon & Schuster is generating wealth for a central figure of a presidency that unequivocally advocated for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-Blackness, xenophobia, misogyny, ableism, islamophobia, antisemitism, and violence. This is not a difference of opinions; this is legitimizing bigotry.”

Of course. No dissent from the left is a legitimate “difference of opinions,” because leftists see the world in a way that religious fanatics throughout history would find familiar: they alone have the vision of what is good and just, and since all those outside the fold are ignorant and evil, they have no rights that the arbiters of what constitutes acceptable opinion are bound to respect.

So far, however, Simon & Schuster’s chief executive Jonathan Karp has shown himself to be among the unredeemed. Karp reminded the fascists in his employ that the job of a publishing house was to allow for “a diversity of voices and perspectives.”Diversity! Karp’s choice of words must have driven the petitioners up the wall because like all leftists, they are no doubt extremely proud of their commitment to “diversity” in all forms except, of course, a genuine diversity of thought. Black and brown and queer and trans voices and all the rest are welcome among them, as long as they all think the same way and say the same thing. But here was Karp gently making it clear that the petitioners weren’t really in favor of diversity in any meaningful way. “We come to work each day to publish, not cancel,” he said, “which is the most extreme decision a publisher can make.”

For that he will likely be canceled himself before too long.

The American left long ago embraced authoritarianism and fascism and is increasingly intolerant of any point of view other than its own. Note that the petitioners included in its laundry list of denunciations the spurious propaganda neologism “Islamophobia.” “Islamophobia” is an illegitimate conflation of two distinct phenomena: crimes against innocent Muslims, which are never justified, and honest analysis of the motivating ideology of jihad terror, which is always necessary. It is inconceivable that anyone would want to publish a book calling for attacks on innocent Muslims or any innocent people, but there are many books discussing the motivating ideology of jihad terrorism.

Islamic advocacy groups and their leftist allies have been insisting for years that such books, too, constituted “Islamophobia.” Such analyses are what these fascists at Simon & Schuster want to stamp out. If the left succeeds in consolidating power, it will be impossible to publish, and likely illegal to enunciate publicly, any opposition to jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women and others, for there is no example of any such opposition not being considered “Islamophobic.”

The fascist employees also demanded that Simon & Schuster cut ties with my publisher, Post Hill Press (my last six books have been or are in the process of being published under Post Hill’s imprint, Bombardier Books), with which Simon & Schuster has a distribution arrangement. The petition libelously asserts that Post Hill “openly supports and normalizes violence against minors, Black women, and all Black people by individuals and the state.” This is, of course, not remotely true. It is how left-fascists lie in order to demonize and destroy their opponents. Although Karp has rejected this petition, expect to see much more of this sort of thing. We have not yet reached the high tide of left-fascism in America today.

An independent report by a firm hired by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (“RZIM”) to investigate claims of their founder’s alleged sexual misconduct has recently been published by RZIM on its website. The 12-page report, which found “significant evidence” of sexual misconduct by the late apologist Ravi Zacharias, along with “evidence of text- and email-based relationships with women who were not his wife” and “over 200 ‘selfie’-style photographs of women” on Zacharias’ electronic devices, followed an open letter by RZIM’s International Board of Directors which cited the leadership’s desire to “help the victims of Ravi’s abuse” and to take steps to ensure “nothing like this happens again.”

“It is with shattered hearts that we issue this statement about the allegations against RZIM’s Founder, Ravi Zacharias,” the open letter linked on the front page of the RZIM site states.

“Following allegations made in late August of 2020 that Ravi had engaged in sexual misconduct and abuse in connection with two-day spas, we commissioned Miller & Martin PLLC, a law firm with experience in corporate and sex crimes investigations, to conduct an independent investigation. We gave Miller & Martin a broad scope to pursue any avenues that they judged to be relevant to the accusations, and we emphasized that our only purpose for the investigation was to ascertain the full truth,” the board statement reads.

“Having received the results of the investigation, we are publicly releasing the investigation report in the exact form that we received it. We have been waiting to make an extended statement in the hope that the full findings of the investigation would allow us to speak more accurately and meaningfully. We also wanted to ensure Miller & Martin’s independence in their investigation, assessments, and reporting of the findings,” it continues.

According to the Miller & Martin report, which can be read in full here, the investigators “confirmed one of the three accounts described in the Christianity Today article,” which gave rise to the concerns, “and found significant evidence of sexual misconduct involving additional massage therapists.” Additionally, the report states that they “also reviewed Mr. Zacharias’s electronic devices and found evidence of text- and email-based relationships with women who were not his wife, as well as over 200 ‘selfie’-style photographs of women.”

RZIM stated that as a result of the new report they are now seeking the Lord’s will on the “future of the ministry.”

“Our prayer has been that the truth would be known. For this answer to prayer, we are thankful, even though we express this gratitude through tears. The humbling process of seeking counsel from survivors and advocates and of writing this statement has made us profoundly aware that even what we say now is vastly insufficient and merely a starting point for all that needs to be said and done in the days ahead,” the board expressed in its open letter published on the RZIM site.

“In light of the findings of the investigation and the ongoing evaluation, we are seeking the Lord’s will regarding the future of this ministry. We are learning much through this time and hope to have the chance to apply these lessons in the future. We remain passionate about seeing the gospel preached through the questions of culture. We will be spending focused time praying and fasting as we discern how God is leading, and we will speak to this in the near future,” the board statement reads in part.

Ravi Zacharias Sexual Misconduct Report Released, It's Worse Than We Thought

The late Ravi Zacharias, who passed away last year after a long battle with cancer, has been scrutinized for several years by discerning Christians for allegations made against him for sexual misconduct. The allegations came to light in 2018 when we received copies of text messages between Zacharias and one of his victims. Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of Evangelicalism did not take the allegations seriously, save a few discernment blogs.

In 2018, it became public that Zacharias had been involved in a years-long “sexting” scandal and an emotional affair with another woman other than his wife. Zacharias admitted that he was caught up in the emotional aspect, privately in conversation with another woman who had been sending him nude pics of himself, but denied that it ever went any further than that.

Other allegations were made against Zacharias by a retired Detective Constable from the Ontario Provincial Police after 34 years of service that Zacharias, while a minister, pressured a teenage girl to have an abortion “if our careers are to survive.” To our knowledge, Zacharias never addressed these allegations.

During his recent years in ministry, Zacharias turned his ministry largely in the direction of social justice and wokeness — following the trends of the culture and the world. In 2019, Zacharias invited gay Anglican priest, Sam Allberry, to speak at one of his events where he allowed Allberry to say that Jesus had “body dysphoria,” therefore, he was able to identify with transgender people who experience “gender dysphoria.”

Therefore, it is unsurprising to us that an independent investigation into the sexual misconduct of Ravi Zacharias has revealed that all of these allegations against him are true and that Zacharias used his ministry as a launching pad to gain sexual favors from women other than his wife.

To the ministry’s (RZIM) credit, those involved do seem to be genuinely repentant and serious about making amends with the victims. However, at this time, it is unclear who sits on the board and who exactly is responsible for the cover-up.

Several key points are made in the 12-page report which was conducted by the investigative firm Miller & Martin PLLC as follows:

  • “We also reviewed Mr. Zacharias’s electronic devices and found evidence of text- and email-based relationships with women who were not his wife, as well as over 200 ‘selfie’-style photographs of women.”
  • “There were over 200 massage therapist contacts in Mr. Zacharias’s phones, including many overseas.”
  • “Several massage therapists confirmed Mr. Zacharias’s frequent efforts to ‘try for more than a massage,’ as one therapist put it. Eight therapists reported that Mr. Zacharias would start the massage either completely nude or would remove the sheets during the massage. Six therapists reported that he always or almost always had an erection during the massage. Four therapists reported that he would either touch his genitals or ask them to touch his genitals. And five therapists reported that he touched or rubbed them inappropriately.”
  • “Only one of the witnesses we interviewed said that Mr. Zacharias engaged in sexual intercourse. This witness reported details of many encounters over a period of years that she described as rape. To protect her identity, this report does not disclose many of the details she shared with us. She reported that after he arranged for the ministry to provide her with financial support, he required sex from her. According to this witness, Mr. Zacharias used religious expressions to gain compliance, as she was raised to be a person of faith. She reported that he made her pray with him to thank God for the ‘opportunity’ they both received. She said he called her his ‘reward’ for living a life of service to God, and he referenced the ‘godly men’ in the Bible with more than one wife. She said he warned her not ever to speak out against him or she would be responsible for the ‘millions of souls’ whose salvation would be lost if his reputation was damaged.”
  • “The four phones that Mr. Zacharias used and that RZIM provided to us for this investigation also provided significant, compelling evidence. For example, in the Notes application of one of Page 9 of 12 of his phones, Mr. Zacharias kept translations of certain words and phrases in Thai and Mandarin. The Thai phrases included ‘I miss you so much. I want to see your face’ and ‘little bit further.’ The Mandarin phrases included: ‘softer, lighter;’ ‘U R beautiful;’ ‘not enough;’ ‘I hope our love lasts forever;’ ‘I love you from the bottom of my heart;’ ‘I’d like to have a beautiful memory with you;’ ‘Life is so wonderful because [sic] I could meet you;’ ‘Your lips are especially beautiful;’ and ‘I love you darling.’”
  • “In 2014, Mr. Zacharias met and exchanged emails with a massage therapist who lived in Bangkok. They used pet names such as ‘sweetheart,’ ‘baby,’ ‘babe,’ ‘darling,’ ‘angel,’ ‘my precious little girl,’ and ‘honey;’ they exchanged selfies (the latest photograph of her is from 2019); and they discussed how much they loved and missed each other. During a May 2014 coup d’etat in Thailand, Mr. Zacharias expressed his worry that travel to Bangkok could be stopped. He told her: ‘I know more than ever that you have become the love of my life. I’m waiting to hold you close to my heart again. Please be safe my angel. I Love you and goodnight from here.’ He told her to keep him ‘as the only one in your heart. I love you my dearest xxxxxx.’”
  • “Their communications imply that their relationship had a physical component. They discussed not being able to wait until they can be together, that he is ‘longing to hold [her] close again.’ He further wrote: ‘Your face, your smile, your laugh, your touch, the way you love, your
hard work, your heart, your care for me, your skill,’ and on and on and on. He called her ‘beautiful in heart and in body.’ She responded later: ‘I love you and kiss you everywhere xxxxxx.’ She said to him she was going to work out ‘to be fit and firm when I see you next month =).’ This woman received significant financial support from TOH [Editor’s note: RZIM slush fund].”
  • “In addition to communications, Mr. Zacharias’s phones contained over 200 photographs of women much younger than him—including six of Lori Anne Thompson—and dozens of photographs he took of himself.”
  • “Travel records confirm that Mr. Zacharias was in Malaysia at the time. Over time, more pictures of this woman appeared in Mr. Zacharias’s phone, most of which were relatively innocuous and show her fully clothed. However, the photographs grew increasingly more suggestive, culminating in two photographs showing her bare breasts dated October 27, 2018, and a video of her fully naked and touching herself dated January 8, 2019. Two other women told us that Mr. Zacharias asked for nude photographs, which they refused to provide.”
  • “In addition to finding alone time when he traveled with others, Mr. Zacharias traveled alone to Bangkok and other parts of Southeast Asia for substantial periods of time. RZIM staff described these as writing trips where he would work on his latest book. On such trips, he would stay for days and sometimes weeks alone. According to a text message to a Thai masseuse in February 2016, he spent his days writing and his nights receiving massage treatments.”
  • “We did consider his statements and actions when confronted with similar situations in the past, most notably the Thompson matter. Several RZIM staff reported to us his ‘shifting narrative’ as emails and other relevant facts were publicly leaked and he was forced to explain them. Rather than fostering an environment of truth-seeking and transparency, Mr. Zacharias was strident and inflammatory. He described his critics as ‘nasty people’ and ‘lunatics’ who were engaging in ‘satanic-type’ slander and falsehood.”
  • “Mr. Zacharias told certain members of his staff that the phone records and full, complete emails would exonerate him, but he did not give them access to these documents. Two high-level staff approached him directly asking for the phone records, since he claimed they would prove exculpatory. Both of these staff members told us Mr. Zacharias responded to this request with rage and threatened to resign from the organization.”
  • “Some therapists also reported that Mr. Zacharias paid very well or would leave large tips and gave gifts that were at times lavish, such as a Persian rug or a Louis Vuitton wallet with $500 inside.”
  • “Several RZIM staff reported to us that they were concerned about Mr. Zacharias traveling with a personal masseuse, not because they feared actual impropriety but because they feared the appearance of impropriety. A high-level RZIM staff member expressed concerns to Mr. Zacharias about it and encouraged him to stop traveling with her. In response, Mr. Zacharias grew angry and barely spoke to this staff member for a long period of time.”
  • “According to his text messages, at times he would meet the therapists in the hotel lobby and at other times he would direct them to come straight to his room. On one occasion in February 2016, he slipped his room key to a massage therapist by placing it in a book, directing her to come to his
room ‘2 minutes after’ she got the book from him.”

Thompson is the Canadian woman accused by Zacharias in 2017 of sending “unwanted” nude pictures to the late apologist in an attempt to extort him. (Zacharias died on May 19, 2020.)

Yet according to the letter, the nude photos were not only wanted by Zacharias; they were invited. And they were the culmination of months of emails, phone calls, gifts, and other advances by a man who “sensed” Thompson’s “deficit and used it to his own end.

EXCERPTS:

The woman who says Ravi Zacharias coerced her into an inappropriate sexual relationship has released a video recounting how the alleged abuse has impacted her, despite a nondisclosure agreement still in place.

At the time, the Christian and Missionary Alliance, the denomination which held Zacharias' ministry credentials, said the "evidence does not provide the basis for formal discipline under the C&MA policy."

She recounted the grooming process that Zacharias conducted in a letter obtained by the Roys Report in 2020.

Zacharias later sued the woman and settled with her, which included the non-disclosure agreement. She has since attempted to be released from the NDA from Zacharias' family which they have denied.

In refuting the original claims, Thompson says that Zacharias (whom she refers to throughout the transcript of the statement as RZ) "used a former local church abuse experience where my husband and I had been victims of a financially and spiritually abusive cleric, to support his fantastical claim that we were a litigious couple who sued people for financial gain.

On Monday, former President Donald Trump’s lawyers, Bruce L. Castor Jr., and David Schoen, filed the official defense brief for his second impeachment trial, which begins on Tuesday. The brief makes five powerful arguments for the president’s acquittal, eviscerating the Democrats’ case.

“One might have been excused for thinking that the Democrats’ fevered hatred for Citizen Trump and their ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ would have broken by now, seeing as he is no longer the President, and yet for the second time in just over a year the United States Senate is preparing to sit as a Court of Impeachment, but this time over a private citizen who is a former President,” the brief notes.

Trump’s lawyers argue that “through this latest Article of Impeachment now before the Senate, Democrat politicians seek to carve out a mechanism by which they can silence a political opponent and a minority party. The Senate must summarily reject this brazen political act.”

In the brief, Team Trump makes five arguments against the Democrats’ impeachment case.

1. The Senate cannot try a private citizen for impeachment

The defense brief echoed Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and the 44 other Senate Republicans who voted against holding the impeachment trial, claiming that it is unconstitutional for the Senate to try a former president and therefore a private citizen.

“The Senate is being asked to do something patently ridiculous: try a private citizen in a process that is designed to remove him from an office that he no longer holds,” the brief argues. It claims that if the Senate were to bar Trump from holding public office in the future, that would constitute a bill of attainder, “a legislative act which inflicts punishment without a judicial trial,” violating Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution.

The brief argues that the Founders did not explicitly give the Senate the power to try former officials and that the Senate failed to impeach former Senator William Blount and Secretary of War William Belknap. It also notes that Congress refused to impeach Richard Nixon after he resigned. While it notes that British law allows for post-office impeachment, it claims that the Founders did not.

Democrats have made a strong argument that there is no “January exception” for impeachable behavior, but Trump’s team may respond that there are other ways to punish behavior after a president has left office, such as censure.

Tellingly, Team Trump warns that if the impeachment managers have their way in arguing that a person may be impeached at any time after he or she leaves office, “a future House could impeach former Vice President Biden for his obstruction of justice in setting up the Russia hoax circa 2016. While he could not be removed from the Vice Presidency because his term ended in 2017, he could be barred from holding future office. The same flawed logic the House Managers advance could apply to former Secretary of State Clinton for her violations of 18 U.S.C § 793 [by mishandling classified information].”

Trump Eviscerates Democrats’ Impeachment Charges

2. Trump’s First Amendment rights

The brief argues that the Democrats’ impeachment would violate Trump’s First Amendment rights as a public official. The Democrat impeachment managers argue that “the First Amendment does not apply at all to an impeachment proceeding,” citing two cases concerning appointed public employees. Team Trump powerfully combats this claim with central free speech precedents.

“The Supreme Court of the United States has long held that the First Amendment’s right to freedom of speech protects elected officials such as Mr. Trump,” the brief explains. It cites the case Wood v. Georgia (1962), in which the Supreme Court ruled that Sheriff James Wood, an elected official who spoke out about voting patterns, “had the right to enter the field of political controversy. … The role that elected officials play in our society makes it all the more imperative that they be allowed freely to express themselves on matters of current public importance.”

“The House Managers have built their case against the First Amendment upon the  proverbial foundation of sand, and have no support for their argument that Mr. Trump lacks  protection under the First Amendment as all Supreme Court authority is directly contrary to their assertion.”

“Even political speech that may incite unlawful conduct is protected from the reach of governmental punishment,” the brief argues, citing Lorillard Tobacco Co. v. Reilly (2001). “Indeed, ‘[e]very idea is an incitement,’ and if speech may be suppressed whenever it might inspire someone to act unlawfully, then there is no limit to the State’s censorial power.”

“Rather, the government may only suppress speech for advocating the use of force or a violation of law if ‘such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action,'” (emphasis original) the brief notes, citing Brandenberg v. Ohio (1969).

The Trump Team argues that a plain reading of Trump’s speech on January 6, 2021, counters the Democrats’ claim that he “incited” the crowd to violence, much less insurrection. Trump said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard” (emphasis original).

Tom Cotton Suggests It’s Unconstitutional to Impeach Trump After January 20

3. Democrats’ “incitement”

In order to bolster Trump’s free speech defense, the brief notes that Trump’s metaphorical use of the term “fight like hell” is well-established. In fact, the brief cites examples of Democrats’ rhetoric that would also constitute “incitement” by the standard of the impeachment article.

“It is truly incredible that House Democratic leadership is feigning horror at the President’s choices of words considering some of their own members' recent public comments,” the brief notes.

Team Trump cites House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) statement, “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be.”

“Was she advocating violence? Sending a silent dog whistle to radical protesters? Should she be held accountable for her extremist rhetoric and removed from office?” the brief asks.

The document also cites Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), who said, “there needs to be unrest in the streets” as the Black Lives Matter protests devolved into violent and deadly riots. “Should we hold her liable to pay for all of the businesses that were destroyed when people heeded her call and removed from office?” the brief asks.

Finally, Team Trump cited Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who infamously encouraged leftist demonstrators to harass Trump administration staff in public places.

“For those who would say that those quotes must be understood in their greater context, i.e., that they were clearly meant to be political speech- we say exactly. The truth is that both … Mr. Trump’s speech and these comments are acceptable political free speech; it is the double standard at play here that is entirely unacceptable, and Mr. Trump [asks] that the Senate reject it in no uncertain terms,” Team Trump argues.

4. Due process

Team Trump notes that House Democrats rushed the impeachment process after originally calling on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. Bizarrely, Democrats waited five days before introducing the impeachment on January 11 and passing the impeachment on January 13.

“House Democrats completed the fastest presidential impeachment inquiry in history and adopted the Article of Impeachment over strong opposition and with zero due process afforded to Mr. Trump,” without an impeachment inquiry or a formal investigation into the Capitol riot.

“No exigent circumstances under the law were present excusing the House of Representatives’ rush to judgment, as evidenced by the fact that they then held the Article for another 12 days,” the brief notes.

Trump Responds to Second Impeachment With Strong Condemnation of Political Violence

5. “Structurally deficient”

Finally, Team Trump argues that “by charging multiple alleged wrongs in one article, the House of Representatives has made it impossible to guarantee compliance with the Constitutional mandate in Article 1, Sec. 3, Cl. 6 that permits a conviction only by at least two-thirds of the members. The House charge fails by interweaving different allegations rather than breaking them into counts of alleged individual instances of misconduct.”

This constitutes a sleight of hand in order to push conviction and removal, Team Trump argues.

These arguments build on claims in the president’s answer to the charges of the impeachment article. Together, they build a strong case for the former president’s acquittal.

While Trump’s arguments about the unconstitutionality of a Senate trial for a former president may be largely moot after the Senate voted 55-45 to take up the case, Team Trump was wise to cite those arguments because they provide Senate Republicans an easy case to make to the American people. While some Republicans may not wish to proactively defend Trump’s statements before the Capitol riot, Team Trump is also right to point out Democrats’ hypocrisy in claiming that Trump’s political speech constitutes incitement while theirs does not.

Democrats are gambling that the trial will make Trump look bad and tie Republicans to him, while Team Trump will use the opportunity to expose Democrats’ hypocrisy on political violence.

Trump Eviscerates Democrats' Impeachment Charges

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump’s lawyers Bruce L. Castor Jr., and David Schoen released Trump’s answer to the Democrats’ article of impeachment accusing him of “incitement of insurrection.” Trump’s response breaks the Democrats’ impeachment article into eight separate allegations and responds to each claim. In a nutshell, the former president argues that it is unconstitutional for the Senate to remove a president when he has already left office and that he is innocent of the Democrats’ charges.

Trump asks the Senate to “dismiss Article I: Incitement of Insurrection against him as moot, and thus in violation of the Constitution because the Senate lacks jurisdiction to remove from office a man who does not hold office. In the alternative, the 45th President respectfully requests the Senate acquit him on the merits of the allegations raised in the article of impeachment.”

The Senate already voted to take up the impeachment, with five Republican senators joining 50 Democratic senators in holding the matter constitutional. However, 45 Republican senators voted not to hold the trial, given constitutional concerns. This vote signified that the Senate is not likely to convict Trump.

The former president makes a few extremely salient arguments against the Democrats’ impeachment article. In addition to the claim that the Senate cannot convict a former president on impeachment, Trump argues that the Democrats violated his free speech and due process rights in rushing to impeach him and that the article of impeachment is deceptively drafted in an unfair manner. Trump also claims that disqualifying him from office would constitute a “bill of attainder,” which has been broadly interpreted to mean a legislative act against a class of people that inflicts punishment on them without a judicial trial.

Trump argues the article of impeachment is “facially and substantively flawed, and otherwise unconstitutional, and must be dismissed with prejudice.”

The president’s responses

Trump splits the article of impeachment into eight claims, providing a response to each one.

His first response claims that the impeachment power does not apply to him because he is no longer president. “The constitutional provision requires that a person actually hold office to be impeached. Since the 45th President is no longer ‘President,’ the clause ‘shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for…’ is impossible for the Senate to accomplish, and thus the current proceeding before the Senate is void ab initio as a legal nullity that runs patently contrary to the plain language of the Constitution.”

Trump also argues that the Constitution does not allow the Senate to disqualify a president from future office unless that president has first been removed from office due to impeachment. “Since removal from office by the Senate of the President is a condition precedent which must occur before, and jointly with, ‘disqualification’ to hold future office, the fact that the Senate presently is unable to remove from office the 45th President whose term has expired, means that Averment 1 is therefore irrelevant to any matter before the Senate.”

Importantly, Trump denies ever having “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.” He also denies ever having “engaged in a violation of his oath of office.”

While the article of impeachment condemns Trump’s statements challenging the 2020 election results as “false,” Trump defends those statements. He claims he exercised his First Amendment right “to express his belief that the election results were suspect, since with very few exceptions, under the convenient guise of Covid-19 pandemic ‘safeguards’ states election laws and procedures were changed by local politicians or judges without the necessary approvals from state legislatures.”

“Insufficient evidence exists upon which a reasonable jurist could conclude that the 45th President’s statements were accurate or not, and he, therefore, denies they were false,” Trump argues. “Like all Americans, the 45th President is protected by the First Amendment. …. the Constitution and Bill of Rights, specifically and intentionally protect unpopular speech from government retaliation.” [Emphasis added]

Trump acknowledged that he spoke at the Ellipse on January 6 before the Capitol riot, but he insisted that Democrats twisted his words in claiming that he had incited an insurrection.

“It is denied that President Trump incited the crowd to engage in destructive behavior. It is denied that the phrase ‘if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore’ had anything to do with the action at the Capitol as it was clearly about the need to fight for election security in general, as evidenced by the recording of the speech,” the legal defense reads.

Trump claims that he did not intend to interfere with the counting of Electoral College votes. He notes that Democrats in Congress challenged Electoral College votes in 2017 and that Republicans did so in 2021, in each case to no avail. He argues that Congress’s duty “was not just to certify the presidential election” but also “to first determine whether certification of the presidential election vote was warranted.”

Trump does not mention the fact that he encouraged Vice President Mike Pence to overstep his constitutional bounds in rejecting Electoral College votes, a move that undermines his claim that he did not intend to interfere.

Trump also denies having made “any effort to subvert” the 2020 election in asking Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R-Ga.) to “find” votes. Trump claims that the word “find” was appropriate in context because he was expressing his opinion that an accurate count would “find” the votes required to put Trump over the top.

Finally, Trump denied having “ever endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government.” He denied having “threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch Government.”

Trump’s defenses

After addressing the article of impeachment, Trump presents arguments in his defense.

He claims the Senate lacks jurisdiction to try a removed president for impeachment “because he holds no public office from which he can be removed, and the Constitution limits the authority of the Senate in cases of impeachment to removal from office as the prerequisite active remedy allowed the Senate under our Constitution.”

He argues that if the Senate acts on this impeachment, “it will have passed a Bill of Attainder in violation of Article 1, Sec. 9. Cl. 3 of the United States Constitution.”

He argues that the article of impeachment violates his right to free speech under the First Amendment and that the House deprived him of the due process of law “in rushing to issue the Article of Impeachment by ignoring it own procedures and precedents going back to the mid-19th century.”

“The lack of due process included, but was not limited to, [the House’s] failure to conduct any meaningful committee review or other investigation, engage in any full and fair consideration of evidence in support of the Article, as well as the failure to conduct any full and fair discussion by allowing the 45th President’s positions to be heard in the House Chamber.”

Trump warns that if the Senate does not rule in his favor, it would set a precedent that “such persons as the 45th President similarly situated no longer enjoy the rights of all American citizens guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.”

“There was no exigency [requiring a fast impeachment], as evidenced by the fact that the House waited until after the end of the President’s term to even send the articles over and there was thus no legal or moral reason for the House to act as it did,” Trump argues. “Political hatred has no place in the administration of justice anywhere in America, especially in the Congress of the United States.”

Trump also claims that “by charging multiple alleged wrongs in one article, the House of Representatives has made it impossible to guarantee compliance with the Constitutional mandate in Article 1, Sec. 3, Cl. 6 that permits a conviction only by at least two-thirds of the members.”

By “interweaving different allegations rather than breaking them into counts of alleged individual instances of misconduct,” the article of impeachment muddies the waters in debate. If the Senate votes to convict Trump, “it would be impossible to know if two-thirds of the members agreed on the entire article, or just on parts, as the basis for a vote to convict.”

Finally, Trump notes that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has announced that he would not to preside over the impeachment trial, and Democrats picked Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Vt.) to preside. “Once the 45th President’s term expired, and the House chose to allow jurisdiction to lapse on the Article of Impeachment, the constitutional mandate for the Chief Justice to preside at all impeachments involving the President evidently disappeared, and he was replaced by a partisan Senator who will purportedly also act as a juror while ruling on certain issues,” Trump argues.

The former president presents a very strong case in his defense. Not only does he make salient arguments for his innocence of the specific charge of “incitement of insurrection,” but he also warns against the dangerous precedent this impeachment would set for free speech and for due process.

The impeachment trial is scheduled to begin next Monday, February 8.

WASHINGTON — Pop star Lady Gaga, known for her homosexual-affirming tune “Born This Way,” will be performing the national anthem during Wednesday’s inauguration ceremony, with other performances by artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks. During the interfaith prayer service scheduled for Thursday, two “transgender” faith leaders are expected to participate, along with several homosexual clergy members.

“I am deeply honored to be joining @BidenInaugural on January 20 to sing the National Anthem and celebrate the historic inauguration of @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris,” she posted to social media on Jan. 14.

Her cover photo for both her Facebook and Twitter accounts is an image of Gaga wearing only panties and covering her bare breasts with her hands and hair. The photograph appears to be a promotion of her HAUS Laboratories beauty line.

As previously reported, in 2019, Gaga, who was born Stefani Germanotta, stated during a show in Las Vegas that she identifies as a Christian and that Vice President Mike Pence is the “worst” example of a Christian as his wife works for a church-run school that has a lifestyle statement prohibiting homosexual behavior.

“To Mike Pence, who thinks that it’s acceptable that his wife works at a school that bans LGBTQ — you’re wrong,” Germanotta declared. “You’re the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.”

“I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice, and everybody is welcome,” she asserted. “So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look yourself in the mirror and you’ll find it right there.”

Germanotta, whose music videos are often performed in little clothing and are sexually suggestive, sings about homosexuality in her song “Born This Way,” claiming, “A different lover is not a sin, believe capital H-I-M. … No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive. … I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes.”

Those who identify as homosexual or transgender are scheduled to participate in Thursday’s interfaith prayer service, a long-held tradition that is held at the National Cathedral the day following each inauguration. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the service will be virtual.

Paul “Paula” Stone Williams of Left Hand Church and “Barbara” Satin of The National LGBTQ Task Force will both participate, as well as homosexuals Fred Davie, the executive vice president of Union Theological Seminary; Dr. Yvette Flunder of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries; and Sharon Kleinbaum of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah.

Jen Hatmaker, a popular women’s author who supports homosexual relationships and who proudly announced her daughter’s lesbianism during Pride Month 2020, will also speak during the event.

As previously reported, Barack Obama and Joe Biden attended the service following the 2009 and 2013 inaugurations, which presented prayers from those who identified as Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Sikh and Jewish.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence likewise attended the 2017 prayer service, which included presentations from those who identified as Christian, Mormon, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist.

In addition to a number of liberal and heretical speakers, religions expected to be represented during this year’s event include Islam, Sikhism, Judaism, Eastern Orthodox, and Hinduism.

Read the full list of participants in the virtual inaugural prayer service here, as reported by the Episcopal News Service.

Proverbs 14:34 teaches, “Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

In Exodus 14:34, Yahweh said to the children of Israel, “For thou shalt worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”

John 9:31 also states, “Now we know that God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth His will, him He heareth.”

Doubling Down on Impeachment Insanity

Fanatical Dems impeach President Trump for the second time --

and again without evidence.

With mere days before a new president takes office, leftist Democrats and useful-idiot Republicans voted Wednesday to impeach President Donald John Trump on false grounds for a second time, a move that places the United States on a fast-track toward banana-republic status.

The vote to impeach on January 13 was 232 to 197. Ten Republican lawmakers voted to betray their own party and impeach President Trump.

They are: Adam Kinzinger of Illinois; Liz Cheney of Wyoming; John Katko of New York; Fred Upton of Michigan; Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington;  Dan Newhouse of Washington; Peter Meijer of Michigan; Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio; Tom Rice of South Carolina; and David Valadao of California.

The reason why they did this is clear: despite everything that has happened, Trump’s voters are standing by him. That makes him a threat –not to the republic, as the Left claims— but to the deep state-globalist-socialist-communist alliance that in a few days will control both the executive and legislative branches of the federal government. They want Trump out of the picture so things can return to so-called normal. Even if they can’t get the impeachment trial underway in the Senate before Trump leaves office at 12 Noon on January 20, they want the Senate to convict the president and bar him from seeking office again. Some legal scholars, though, notably not Alan Dershowitz, say a president leaving the office does not deprive the Senate of jurisdiction to hear the case.

As much as it pained the often-manic Frank Luntz, the Trump-hating pollster, to admit, “Despite their criticism of his conduct since November 3rd and last week, 91% of Trump voters say they’d still vote for him if another presidential election were held today.”

“73% of Trump voters still say the election system is ‘rigged,’ even after being reminded that Trump and his allies lost more than 60 cases in court challenging election results,” a glum Luntz wrote January 11 in a tweet.

In addition, 78 percent of the respondents said they agreed with the president’s claim that the election was “stolen” from him, and 67 percent said Trump would be the winner if the votes were “counted accurately and fairly.”

So after everything the anti-Trump conspirators and the universe have thrown at the president since his wild ride began on the escalator at Trump Tower in Manhattan on June 16, 2015 –including but not limited to claims of racism, white nationalism, sexism, sexual abuse, ripping off customers, investors, and creditors, Spygate, Hillary Clinton’s phony Russian dossier and the never-ending fantasies of Russian collusion in the 2016 election, Charlottesville unrest and the lie that he praised neo-Nazis, sanctuary cities and states, Antifa riots, Black Lives Matter riots, Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) riots in Seattle, tax allegations, claims of being a greedy businessman, claims of being an incompetent businessman, social media totalitarianism, claims of illegal emoluments, porn stars and models, dishonest fact-checkers, COVID-19, and the innocent conversation with Ukraine’s president that got him impeached the first time— Trump is still riding high in the eyes of his base.

Combine all of that with the legions of disloyal, pearl-clutching, backstabbing appointees and associates such as departed FBI Director James Comey, White House communications officials Anthony Scaramucci, Alyssa Farah, Stephanie Grisham, Ambassador Mick Mulvaney, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, uncomfortably-close -to-the-Chinese-Communists Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf, kooky Defense Secretary James Mattis, treacherous National Security Adviser John Bolton, and troublemaking nonentities like Omarosa Manigault, and it is truly amazing that Trump has survived in office this long.

The impeachment vehicle this time was House Resolution 24, which was introduced in the House of Representatives January 11. It is a series of lies, half-truths, and political spin.

The single article of impeachment states that Trump “engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States.”

The resolution continues, stating that in the months preceding the January 6 joint session of Congress convened to count the votes of the Electoral College, “President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the Presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by State or Federal officials.”

Not long before the joint session got underway, Trump addressed a crowd at the Ellipse outside the White House and “reiterated false claims that ‘we won this election, and we won it by a landslide.’”

Trump “also willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged—and foreseeably resulted in—lawless action at the Capitol, such as: ‘if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.’ Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional personnel, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious acts.”

“President Trump’s conduct on January 6, 2021, followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Those prior efforts included a phone call on January 2, 2021, during which President Trump urged the secretary of state of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, to ‘find’ enough votes to overturn the Georgia Presidential election results and threatened Secretary Raffensperger if he failed to do so.”

In fact, Trump didn’t demand that Raffensperger tamper with election results or threaten him. A leaked recording of the telephone call revealed that Trump merely informed Raffensperger, a fellow Republican, of how many votes the president needed to win Georgia.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes," Trump said.

“In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of government,” the resolution absurdly states.

“He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

“Wherefore, Donald John Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. Donald John Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”

The Kafkaesque resolution, in effect, criminalizes following existing lawful processes for disputing elections and deprives the president of his free speech rights by characterizing legitimate means of participating in public debate as somehow illicit.

It strangely argues that Trump telling supporters at a pep rally to “fight like hell” was an example of incitement. Of course, the Democrats don’t bother to provide a legal analysis explaining their theory that telling someone to “fight” constitutes incitement because they can’t.

“Incitement” has a specific legal definition in the Supreme Court’s landmark 1969 ruling in Brandenburg v. Ohio. The conduct complained of must be both “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action” and be “likely to incite or produce such action.”

As I previously showed, the president did not incite violence in his speech. If anything, he urged his supporters at the rally in question to remain calm and peaceful.

The resolution also fails to take into account that Biden’s come-from-behind victory after Trump was solidly ahead in battleground states the morning after Election Day, was a statistical impossibility.

Economist Charles J. Cicchetti calculated that “[t]he probability of former Vice President Biden winning the popular vote in the four Defendant States—Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—independently given President Trump’s early lead in those States as of 3 a.m. on November 4, 2020, is less than one in a quadrillion, or 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000.”

For Biden “to win these four States collectively, the odds of that event happening decrease to less than one in a quadrillion to the fourth power,” according to a brief Texas filed with the Supreme Court last month in an unsuccessful attempt to challenge the election results in battleground states.

But facts don’t matter to radicals who view truth as subordinate to politics.

Massachusetts Democrat and socialist Jim McGovern, chairman of the House Rules Committee, opened debate in the House by declaring, “We are debating this historic measure at an actual crime scene," a reference to the fact that apparent Trump supporters and Antifa ran amok in the chamber, forcing those inside to take cover.

McGovern said Congress was disrupted as it carried out one of its key responsibilities, certifying the election.

"But at a rally just a mile and a half down Pennsylvania Avenue, Donald Trump and his allies were stoking the anger of a violent mob," McGovern said. "A member of this very body proclaimed on that stage, ‘Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass,’” a reference to a rally speech delivered by Rep. Mo Brooks, an Alabama Republican.

"Trump told the crowd, 'We're going to have to fight much harder. You will never take back our country with weakness,’” McGovern said, quoting Trump’s completely ordinary, perfectly lawful political rhetoric.

"The symbol was unmistakable. These thugs should stage a coup, so Donald Trump can hang on to power, the people's will be damned. This beacon of democracy became the site of a vicious attack,” the congressman said.

No one, including McGovern by the way, has ever bothered to explain how capturing the Capitol during the counting of the electoral votes, if that’s what those who ran amok in the complex planned to do, would constitute a coup. Without control of the armed forces and police, it is difficult to imagine any raiders seizing control of the government and making it do what they desire. Real coups can be quite complex. Even if they had taken, say, Vice President Mike Pence and other elected officials hostage, that wouldn’t have prevented the government from functioning. So the coup theory has many holes in it.

McGovern’s rhetoric doesn’t need to be logical; just plausible-sounding.

He thinks that he can take plain words and expressions that people routinely use in politics and make them seem sinister, turning them into magical words capable of making a mob of Trump supporters angry enough to storm a building.

"This was not a protest,” McGovern said. “This was an insurrection,” he said, ignoring all the damage Antifa and Black Lives Matter inflicted on American cities over the past year.

“This was a well-organized attack on our country that was incited by Donald Trump. Domestic terrorists broke into the United States Capitol that day, and it's a miracle more people didn't die. As my colleagues and I were being evacuated to safety I never, ever will forget what I saw when I looked into the eyes of those attackers right in the speaker's lobby there. I saw evil, Mr. Speaker.”

Or maybe McGovern and his fellow America-hating radicals were looking in a mirror.

Cabinet Members Resign in Outrage Over Capitol “Riot” as Republicans Turn on Trump

Cabinet Members Resign in Outrage Over Capitol “Riot” as Republicans Turn on Trump

The betrayal is now complete.

After four years of pretending to be on our side to gain our support and votes, many members of the Republican establishment are hopping off the Trump Train after they believe it’s come to a dead end.

That extends to the president’s own cabinet.

Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao (wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell) and Education Secretary Betsy Devos both turned in their resignations on Thursday, citing the “violent” events on Wednesday in which a crowd, which appeared to be composed of genuine Trump supporters along with what might have been agitating Antifa infiltrators, entered the Capitol Building and interrupted Congress’ counting of the Electoral College votes.

In her resignation letter, DeVos cited the Capitol breach carried out by violent pro-Trump supporters as an “inflection point.”

“We should be highlighting and celebrating your Administration’s many accomplishments on behalf of the American people,” Devos wrote to President Trump. “Instead, we are left to clean up the mess caused by violent protestors overrunning the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to undermine the people’s business. That behavior was unconscionable for our country. There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me.”

“Impressionable children are watching all of this and they are learning from us,” she continued. “I believe we each have a moral obligation to exercise good judgment and model the behavior we hope they would emulate. They must know from us that America is greater than what transpired yesterday.”

“Yesterday our country experienced a traumatic and entirely avoidable event as supporters of the President stormed the Capitol following a rally he addressed,” wrote Chao in a letter to colleagues in the Department of Transportation. “As I’m sure is the case with many of you, it has deeply troubled me in a way that I simply cannot set aside.”

Hours after the brief occupation of the Capitol took place, Congress reconvened and swiftly certified the election for Joe Biden, with Vice President Mike Pence presiding.

According to a report from The Hill, Republican senators, under the cloak of anonymity, are venting their frustrations with the president and saying they didn’t do enough to contain him when they had the chance (as though blocking his agenda for four years wasn’t containment enough).

“We should have done more to push back, both against his rhetoric and some of the things he did legislatively,” said one lawmaker. “The mistake we made is that we always thought he was going to get better. We thought that once he got the nomination and then once he got a Cabinet, he was going to get better, he was going to be more presidential.”

“Every time you think the president has done everything he could possibly do to f*** things up, then he comes out with a tweet, like the election was invalid and the one in Georgia would be invalid,” said another.

Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley also sharply criticized the president: “President Trump has not always chosen the right words. He was wrong with his words in Charlottesville, and I told him so at the time. He was badly wrong with his words yesterday. And it wasn’t just his words. His actions since Election Day will be judged harshly by history.”

While no one, certainly not the president, is advocating for violence, it’s also important for patriots to note the way in which the narrative about Wednesday’s events is being spun by the mainstream media.

Although the media is saying that it was a riot and that pro-Trump protesters stormed the capitol, footage from the event appears to show that Capitol Hill police opened the gates to allow protesters in and escorted them to the Capitol Building.

The New York Post, citing a law-enforcement source, reported on two known Antifa members who were seen spotted among the multitude.

The outlet noted:

The Antifa members disguised themselves with pro-Trump clothing to join in the DC rioting, said the sources, who spotted the infiltrators while monitoring video coverage from the Capitol.

The infiltrators were recognized due to their participation in New York City demonstrations, and were believed to have joined in the rioting so that Trump would get blamed, the source said.

The media wants us to believe that the events at the Capitol were the worst thing ever to happen to America, though, by any objective standard, it paled in comparison to the violence and destruction unleashed by the Left during the summer of 2020.

The circumstances are very convenient, suggesting an intention of having something like this happen to discredit the effort to object to the Electoral Results and allow establishment politicians to claim justification for their already-planned betrayal of the president — while allowing them to look like the “good guys” who stood up to “Dictator Trump.”

It also gives Republican politicians an excuse to fully reject the president without, in their minds, being seen as traitors to the party’s base.

But they’re mistaken. Most of President Trump’s supporters see right through the ruse and won’t forget those who forsook them in America’s hour of need.

Is MAGA’s Storming of the Capitol an Omen of Coming Civil War?

These are dark days for our Republic. Does light await on the other side?

Capitol Hill exploded in pandemonium on Wednesday afternoon as masses of President Trump’s supporters marched on Congress while lawmakers counted the electoral votes from the 2020 presidential race that would certify Joe Biden as president and Kamala Harris as vice president.

Storming barricades, protesters made their way into the Capitol, prompting the postponement of the electoral vote counting process as Vice President Mike Pence and members of Congress were evacuated to their offices for safety.

Clashes arose between police and the president’s supporters. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) reportedly requested that National Guard troops clear and secure the Capitol.

Once inside the Capitol Building, groups of protesters (perhaps including agents provocateurs) wandered down the halls looking for lawmakers. Some made it onto the floor itself, with one individual climbing onto the dais and yelling “Trump won that election!”

Emotions ran high as conservatives, not only in D.C. but across the nation, felt a sense of betrayal as key Republican figures showed they weren’t going to help President Trump overturn the electoral results believed to have been compromised due to fraud.

Contrary to what the president had expected of him, Vice President Mike Pence did not block the votes from such states as he counted the results.

“I do not believe that the Founders of our country intended to invest the Vice President with unilateral authority to decide which electoral votes should be counted during the Joint Session of Congress, and no Vice President in American history has ever asserted such authority,” Pence wrote in a statement released before the counting began.

The vice president added, “I will keep the oath I made to them and I will keep the oath I made to Almighty God.”

President Trump criticized Pence on Twitter over the decision.

The president (who had called on Americans to be present at the Capitol on Wednesday in the first place) did, however, urge protesters to be peaceful.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1346904110969315332

After the capitol building was breached, he also made a one-minute video statement urging people to go home:

In another move that left Trump supporters wringing their hands, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) attempted to block members of his chamber from challenging the certification process.

“Our democracy would enter a death spiral” if Congress overturned Joe Biden’s victory, McConnell said.

Prior to a sudden halt in the proceedings, GOP lawmakers objected to Arizona’s slate of electors, leading to separate debates on accepting the slate in both chambers.

The storming of the Capitol further highlights the looming possibility of civil war or a similarly existential conflict enveloping America in the near future. When a significant portion of the people, whether on the Right or Left, no longer sees their government as legitimate — whether that belief is correct or not — they will seek to break the bands that tie them to that government.

The Left and Right in America have grown irreconcilable in their ideological differences, and each increasingly views any institution controlled by the other as illegitimate. The current sad state of affairs can be exploited by freedom’s enemies to foment violence and use the violence as a rationale for imposing police-state powers on the road to tyranny.

Yet violence can be avoided if both sides return to the founding principle of federalism. Under the Constitution, the national government possesses only those few and defined powers granted to it, and all other powers are reserved to the states and the people. Thus, some states may be more conservative and others more liberal in their policies, depending on what the citizens of those states want. Moreover, state governments can and should exercise their power of nullification to stop unconstitutional infringements by the national government at their state borders. States also need to restore election integrity — and should do so quickly — so that elections can no longer be stolen. And of course, the people need to be better informed regarding the principles of sound government, so they are not beguiled into voting themselves into slavery.

Undertaking such steps will do much to quell tensions and restore both the states and the federal government to the roles intended by the Founders.

More Evidence of Voter Fraud as Congress Gears Up for Electoral College Vote Certification

More Evidence of Voter Fraud as Congress Gears Up for Electoral College Vote Certification

Mere days before Congress is set to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election on Wednesday, information about the voter fraud that handed Joe Biden a victory continues to arise, despite insistence by the mainstream media that there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Patrick Byrne, founder of OverStock.com and a member of the Trump team who has been working to expose fraud in the election, tweeted on Saturday that footage and photographs were captured of fake ballots in Georgia’s Fulton County that were eventually picked up by moving trucks and shredded.

Byrne contended that video footage in his possession shows vans pulling up at 10 o’clock at night after a state Senate subcommittee panel, upon which the ballots were loaded up.

“On Wednesday afternoon in the Georgia Senate Judiciary voted to have these ballots inspected. What happened next?,” Byrne wrote in a tweet,

Byrne also claimed that his people obtained samples of the fake ballots.

The statistical case against Joe Biden also keeping mounting.

For example, a new analysis posted to Rumble by BasedMedia and DonaldWon.com noted that Joe Biden was given a five-percent advantage over President Trump in counties using Dominion voting machines.

The analysis reads:

Analysis conducted by DataScience and released through BASEDmedia constructed a statistical model to predict relative performance for either candidate based upon U.S. Census county data to 90% accuracy.

This analysis revealed that counties that used Dominion and Hart InterCivic ballot counting devices and software consistently gave a 5% vote advantage to candidate Joe Biden over President Trump. This advantage was observed regardless of the county’s majority political party affiliation nor urban, suburban, or rural area demographics.

Congress will vote to certify the 50 states’ Electoral College votes on Wednesday, January 6, but some Republican lawmakers are planning efforts to reject these results due to the lingering shadow of fraud.

One effort, led by Representative Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) in the House and joined by Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) in the Senate, seeks to force a debate regarding electoral tallies.

“We have no congressional investigation of the fraud,” Hawley said of his participation in the effort. “We need it. We’ve had no congressional action. We need that to protect our elections going forward. I will make all these points and try to force a debate about all of these points.”

Firing back at critics who say he is attempting to subvert the electoral system, Hawley pointed out that Democrats have taken such action before.

In 2005, for example, then-Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) objected to Ohio electors during the 2005 certification of President George W. Bush’s reelection and defeat of John Kerry.

“First of all, I don’t hear the Democrats making such outrageous claims when they were the ones who were objecting during the electoral college certification in 2004 and 2016. Democrats have done this for years to raise concerns about election integrity,” Hawley said on Fox News. “Now when Republicans and 74 million Americans have concerns about election integrity, we are supposed to sit down and shut up? Somebody has to stand up here.”

A separate effort led by Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) involves a number of Republican senators who say they will block certification of the electoral results unless there is an emergency 10-day audit by an electoral commission.

“Voter fraud has posed a persistent challenge in our elections, although its breadth and scope are disputed,” Cruz and the other senators maintained in a Saturday statement. “By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes.”

On Saturday, Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, said his boss shared “the concerns of millions of Americans about voter fraud and irregularities.”

The vice president “welcomes the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward evidence before the Congress and the American people.”

As president of the senate, Pence will have the responsibility of overseeing the January 6 session, which has caused some of the president’s proponents to argue that the vice president should use this opportunity to reject electoral votes from fraud-ridden states.

A Group of 400 Former U.S. Intelligence Officials Are Investigating ‘Blatant’ Election Fraud

A loose “network” of about 400 former investigators and intelligence operatives from the FBI, CIA, NSA, and several other agencies are investigating the 2020 election to determine if there was any election fraud, according to an exclusive story in The Epoch Times.

A former CIA intelligence officer-turned private agent for a “strategic planning, technologies and foreign and domestic” group under President George H.W. Bush says he’s been a part of a network of such investigators since 2014 but the group is increasing in size because of the shady antics surrounding the 2020 presidential election results.

Robert Caron told The Epoch Times that the election fraud was so in-your-face that he was impelled to activate the group to investigate it.

“After numerous reports of irregularities in the 2020 election, the investigation network expanded. Many have focused on investigating the election, according to Caron, who said most are volunteering, while some are getting paid for the inquiry. He said that as far as he knows, the size of the network is “way over 400” and that each member of the network sees obvious election fraud based on their own observations.

“The fraud was so massive and so blatant, despite what the mainstream media said, that we need to get this information out to the public,” said Caron. “That’s why more and more people from the intelligence community and law enforcement are coming out, which is unheard of.”

[…] Caron said that the network includes former intelligence officers, analysts, operatives, military, law enforcement, and judiciary from the FBI, CIA, Military Intelligence, DIA, and National Security Agency (NSA), among others, as well as many former intelligence officers in other countries.”

It’s unclear what the group can chase down at this point. The deadline to approve the presidential contest is set for January 6.

A growing number of U.S. senators are calling for a ten-day extension of the Electoral College count in a joint session of Congress to complete an “audit” of the election. The Washington Post reports that Republican Senators Ted Cruz (Texas), Ron Johnson (Wisc.), James Lankford (Okla.), Josh Hawley (Mo.), and Senators-elect Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.), Roger Marshall (Kan.), Tommy Tuberville (Kan.), and Bill Hagerty (Tenn.) will contest the Electoral College vote certification.

The group issued a joint statement on Saturday calling for the creation of a commission to investigate the election results.

[A]n Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the election returns in the disputed states. Once completed, individual states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.

“Accordingly, we intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given’ and ‘lawfully certified’ (the statutory requisite), unless and until that emergency 10-day audit is completed.

The group further states that such an audit is not unprecedented.

[T]here is long precedent of Democratic Members of Congress raising objections to presidential election results, as they did in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017. And, in both 1969 and 2005, a Democratic Senator joined with a Democratic House Member in forcing votes in both houses on whether to accept the presidential electors being challenged.

“The most direct precedent on this question arose in 1877, following serious allegations of fraud and illegal conduct in the Hayes-Tilden presidential race. Specifically, the elections in three states-Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina-were alleged to have been conducted illegally.

“In 1877, Congress did not ignore those allegations, nor did the media simply dismiss those raising them as radicals trying to undermine democracy. Instead, Congress appointed an Electoral Commission-consisting of five Senators, five House Members, and five Supreme Court Justices-to consider and resolve the disputed returns.

Vice President Mike Pence, who presides over the joint session, seemed willing to entertain the group’s request. He issued a statement saying that he “welcomed the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward evidence before the Congress and the American people on January 6th.”

Caron says the group of 400-plus intelligence officials began investigating the results of elections when the intelligence community was shocked when President Obama did not act “properly on intelligence” after the 2016 election, according to then-Defense Intelligence Agency chief General Michael Flynn, who was later fired after criticizing his boss. Flynn was later spied on by Obama administration officials in order to get the three-star general thrown out from his job as President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser. It worked. The Crossfire Hurricane investigation, otherwise known as the Russia hoax, ended in infamy.

Since then, the group has also seen other instances where intelligence wasn’t properly acted upon.

“President Obama was not acting properly on intelligence that he received concerning Benghazi,” Caron said, referring to an attack of U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the deaths of several U.S. officials. He said he believes it was then that a lot of people from the intelligence community got together and started recruiting people to join the network.

The mainstream media continues to pretend that there’s nothing hinky with the election results or myriad reports of voter fraud. It will be interesting to see if they pick up this story about the 400-plus intel pros looking into the election. If you’ll recall, a pre-election letter signed by 50 Obama-era intelligence community folks was issued in response to the Hunter Biden laptop, Ukraine, and The Big Guy story. The same people who said that Donald Trump was a Russian secret agent alleged that the laptop story could possiblyperhapsmaybe be Russian disinformation. The media hung their hats on that gauzy characterization to boycott the explosive story about Joe Biden’s son and Biden’s high-stakes role as the family rainmaker. And only after the election did we find out that the younger Biden was indeed under investigation.

If these intelligence community spooks have any intel they’d better get the news out fast. Time’s a-wasting.

Biden: If Kamala Disagrees, I’ll Resign. Was He Joking?

Biden on Potential Disagreement With Kamala:

'I'll Develop Some Disease and Say I Have to Resign'

In a CNN joint interview with running-mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Joe Biden said that if he has a “fundamental disagreement” with Harris while she serves as his vice president, he will “develop some disease and say I have to resign.” While Biden likely meant this line to be a joke, he delivered it straight and neither he nor Harris laughed. It appears CNN moderator Jake Tapper also did not laugh.

Biden insisted that he agreed with Kamala Harris on important matters like his philosophy of government, and he only spoke about getting sick and resigning in cases of fundamental disagreement.

“But all kidding aside, it’s a matter of the thing we are simpatico on our philosophy of government and simpatico on how we want to approach these issues that we’re facing,” Biden said.

“When we disagree, so far it’s been just like when Barack and I did. It’s in private. She’ll say, ‘I think we should do A, B, C, or D,’ and I’ll say, ‘I like A, don’t like B and C.’ Like I told Barack, if I reach something where there’s a fundamental disagreement we have based on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign,” Biden said.

Biden delivered the line seriously, as if he were continuing to speak frankly about his discussions with Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama.

After all, Biden began the vignette with the statement, “All kidding aside.” It seems as though Biden was reading from a script written by someone else who intended the getting sick line as a joke, but Biden didn’t get the joke, so he delivered it as though it were a serious remark.

Naturally, it seems highly unlikely Biden actually intended to pledge to the American people that in cases of serious disagreement with Kamala Harris, he would simply get sick and resign. After all, if he did win the — as yet disputed — 2020 election, Americans elected Biden, not Harris, to be president. But his delivery — and the reactions of others involved — make it harder to just dismiss his comment as tongue-in-cheek.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany shared the moment on Twitter.

Deep State & Joe Biden’s Most Extensive Voter Fraud Operation

In this episode of Behind The Deep State, host Alex Newman exposes how elements of the Deep State and the Fake News legacy media are ignoring allegations and evidence of potential voter fraud to illegally unseat President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence in order to install globalists Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into the presidency and vice-presidency, respectively. Newman goes through clips from Project Veritas of one USPS whistleblower exposing how mail-in ballots were backdated and put through the express system in Michigan, how the USPS sent extra ballots to wrong or previous addresses in Nevada, and how Republican poll watchers and observers in Detroit were barred from observing the ballot counts. Newman further emphasis the need to expose these Deep State schemes and to investigate every and all allegations of potential voter fraud. 📰 Full Article: https://bit.ly/massive_vote_fraud

Biden Pledges to Gut Religious Freedom Protections, Saying They Give 'Hate' a 'Safe Harbor'

On Wednesday, the Democratic nominee told Philadelphia Gay News that President Donald Trump has given “hate” a “safe harbor” by protecting religious freedom and enabling what Biden condemned as “discrimination.”

Joe Biden made no bones about it: If he wins the presidential election, he will gut religious freedom protections that allow faith-based homeless shelters, charities, and small business owners to act according to their consciences. Specifically, he will shove LGBT ideology down the throats of religious Americans in the name of fighting “discrimination.”

On Wednesday, the Democratic nominee told Philadelphia Gay News that President Donald Trump has given “hate” a “safe harbor” by protecting religious freedom and enabling what Biden condemned as “discrimination.”

“Donald Trump and Mike Pence have given hate against LGBTQ+ individuals safe harbor and rolled back critical protections for the LGBTQ+ community,” the Democrat alleged. “By blocking the ability of transgender individuals to openly serve their country, denying LGBTQ+ people access to critical health care, proposing policies allowing federally funded homeless shelters to turn away transgender people and federally funded adoption agencies to reject same-sex couples, and failing to address the epidemic of violence against transgender people — particularly transgender women of color — the Trump-Pence Administration has led a systematic effort to undo the progress President Obama and I made.”

Throughout his interview, Biden condemned as “discrimination” the idea that faith-based homeless shelters, adoption agencies, and other charities would refuse to endorse same-sex marriage, transgender identity, and experimental cross-sex drugs and surgeries. He acted as though any desire to follow a traditional Christian, Jewish, or Muslim view of sexuality and gender must be rank “discrimination.” This falls in line with the radical pro-LGBT Equality Act, which Biden said he would pass in his first 100 days, should Democrats win the Senate and hold onto the House.

“It’s wrong to deny people access to services or housing because of who they are or who they love,” Biden argued.

Philadelphia Gay News asked the Democrat a question about religious freedom that demonized the very idea. “The idea of ‘religious freedom’ as a reason to allow discrimination has stoked divisiveness in this country. What can we do as a country to ensure that discrimination against LGBTQ people, no matter how it’s justified, does not happen?” the paper asked.

Biden responded by condemning Trump, accusing the president of having “deliberately tried to gut protections for the LGBTQ+ community by creating broad religious exemptions to existing nondiscrimination laws and policies that allow businesses, medical providers, and adoption agencies to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people.”

“We need to root out discrimination in our laws, institutions, and public spaces. Religion should not be used as a license to discriminate, and as president, I will oppose legislation to deny LGBTQ+ equal treatment in public places. I will immediately reverse discriminatory practices that Trump put in place and work to advance the rights of LGBTQ+ people widely,” Biden pledged.

DNC Resolution Takes Aim at Christians, Warning Against ‘Religious Liberty’

“Discrimination”-The Democrat’s pledges may sound positive and inclusive — he wants “protections” for people and he wants to fight “discrimination,” right? — but this rhetoric is deceptive.

Democrats have twisted the notion of discrimination in order to force Christians to violate their beliefs.

Christian baker Jack Phillips, for example, refused to bake a custom cake for a same-sex wedding, although he gladly sells all sorts of pre-made cakes to LGBT people in his shop. Yet the Colorado Civil Rights Commission ruled that he had discriminated against people on the basis of sexual orientation. He appealed the case all the way to the Supreme Court and won — because members of the commission displayed animus against his religious faith, comparing his views to those of the Nazis.

Even after this Supreme Court victory, Phillips again faced the commission. A transgender lawyer asked him to bake an obscene custom cake celebrating the lawyer’s gender transition. Phillips refused, citing his free speech right not to be forced to endorse a view with which he disagrees. The commission again found him guilty of discrimination, but it dropped the complaint in March 2019. The lawyer promptly sued PhillipsChristian floristsfarmers, and other bakers have faced government sanctions for “discrimination” when they refused to celebrate same-sex weddings, exercising their rights to religious freedom, freedom of association, and free speech.

This year, Gov. Ralph Northam (D-Va.) signed legislation that will force Christian schools and ministries to hire people who oppose their religious convictions on sexuality and gender. The laws will also force these ministries — which hold that God created humans male and female — to open women’s sports and women’s restrooms to biological males, to refer to biological males by female pronouns if they “identify” as female, and to pay for transgender surgery in their health care plans.

A lawsuit challenging the new laws as unconstitutional charged that Virginia’s LGBT statues force “people of faith to adopt a particular government ideology under threat of punishment.”

Indeed, it seems Biden aims to force transgender ideology on the American people.

“I believe every transgender or non-binary person should have the option of selecting ‘X’ as their gender marker on government identifications, passports, and other documentation. I will support state and federal efforts to allow for this accurate representation,” he said (emphasis added).

In other words, Biden claims that transgender identity, not biological sex, is an “accurate” representation, even though biological males do not become female and vice versa. In one particularly tragic case, a pregnant mother who identified as transgender arrived at the hospital in labor. Because her documents falsely listed her as male, the doctors assumed her issue was not pregnancy and her baby died.

Yet the Democrat endorsed transgender identity as “accurate” and seems intent on forcing that ideology throughout the federal government.

Virginia Forces Christian Ministries to Adopt ‘Government Ideology’ or Pay $100K

Biden’s mischaracterization of Trump’s policies

Biden illustrated just this kind of logic by demonizing Trump’s commonsense policies and religious freedom protections.

Trump required the military to admit soldiers according to their biological sex, not their gender identity. This was not a “ban” on transgender people but an acknowledgment of biological sex, which might be extremely important in the military and in health care, since men and women physiologically react to certain medications differently.

Similarly, Trump protected religiously affiliated medical groups from having to pay for transgender surgery — an experimental and divisive medical operation that Obamacare appeared to mandate businesses must cover in insurance. This is what Biden referred to as “denying LGBTQ+ people access to critical health care.” Many former transgender people have regretted surgeries that left them permanently scarred.

Finally, many homeless shelters and adoption agencies are run as religious charities. Mandating that homeless shelters must house biological men who claim to identify as female with vulnerable women is a recipe for disaster — and it violates the religious freedom of faith-based shelters that do not accept transgender ideology. Similarly, adoption agencies should be able to abide by their own standards and many adoption agencies do place kids with same-sex couples.

Violating the religious freedom of homeless shelters and adoption agencies will only gut these critical services. Many adoption agencies have shut their doors rather than violate their consciences, so Biden-style government policies leave needy children in the lurch.

Biden did not just pledge to fight religious freedom at home, however. In his interview with Philadelphia Gay News, he pledged to “restore America’s global leadership on LGBTQ+ issues and actively combat violence and discrimination that is far too rampant. … If governments restrict the rights of LBGTQ+ individuals, or allow violence or discrimination, my Administation, working with partners, will use America’s full range of diplomatic tools to influence that government’s behavior, including private diplomacy, public statements, and multilateral initiatives at United Nations agencies.”

Of course, America should stand up for human rights across the world, and too many countries make homosexual activity a crime punishable by death. The Trump administration has launched a global effort to end the criminalization of homosexual activity.

Yet it seems Biden is intent on pushing his radical anti-religious freedom vision of opposing “discrimination.” In fact, he argued that “the Trump-Pence Administration’s treatment of LGBTQ+ Americans… signals a tolerance for abuses by other countries.”

Tragically, all of this radicalism is of a piece with Biden’s public statements, notorious statements from a staffer, and his party’s increasing hostility to religious freedom.

One of Biden’s staffers said that a woman like Amy Coney Barrett should be “disqualified” from serving on the Supreme Court because she believes marriage should be between one man and one woman. Biden has demonized those who oppose LGBT activism. His running mate has endorsed the “anti-LGBT hate group” smear that the scandal-plagued smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center levels at conservative Christian groups.

While Joe Biden identifies himself as Roman Catholic and claims to abide by the Greatest Commandment, he would vehemently oppose religious freedom in office.

Vote Trump 2020 or Have Your Freedom Die

Make America Trump Again

Happy Friday, my favorite people. I truly hope that all of my Kruiser Morning Briefing friends are full of #TGIF.

A quick, but necessary Morning Briefing today. This isn’t a news thing. It’s pure opinion from yours truly.

That’s really kind of what we’re all here for though, isn’t it?

I usually don’t like to go all apocalyptic gloom and doom about an election but I feel the need for a little conservative emo at the moment.

I’m not a fan of Donald Trump’s re-election simply because I’m a Republican and loathe the Democratic alternative. I’m a fan because he is the second-greatest conservative president in history. The first was Ronald Reagan, of course.

(Side note: We don’t include Abraham Lincoln in discussions like this because he is a stand-alone figure in history.)

I am the resident pessimist here at the Townhall Mothership about the president’s re-election chances. I wish I could take comfort from my friends and colleagues who feel that Trump has got this election, but I just can’t find my way to what I feel is irrational exuberance.

I wish I could, because I really do feel that this is a watershed election.

I  will now examine the political landscape as I see it.

We are on the precipice as a nation right now. We’re faced with a choice between people who value life and liberty and people who want to take your guns, keep you from going to church, and criminalize speech.

If Donald Trump isn’t re-elected the American experiment is over.

Trump

Done.

Dead.

There is no way to spin the existential crisis nature of this election. Those on my side of the aisle know that we’re toast if the Democrats win. Those on the other side will find out that they’re the most dispensable idiots in the New World Order.

The reality is this: vote for Donald Trump or kiss every constitutional amendment you ever cared about goodbye.

The Democrats will be coming after your 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 14th amendment rights as soon as they can. A Dem president will certainly abrogate your rights via executive order. That can be easily undone with a regime change, of course.

They aren’t shy about any of this now. Hit the Google button, kids, and you will see that I am right.

Vote Trump or we’re all in gulags learning Mandarin.

KIDDING!

Wait, no I’m not.

Kamala Harris Lied About Lincoln and the Supreme Court

BY TYLER O'NEIL

SEE: https://pjmedia.com/election/tyler-o-neil/2020/10/08/pants-on-fire-kamala-harris-lied-about-abraham-lincoln-and-the-supreme-court-n1019551;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Kamala Harris must have been so proud of herself. During the vice-presidential debate on Wednesday, she argued that President Donald Trump should not have nominated Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and she cited as her precedent none other than Abraham Lincoln himself — “Honest Abe.”

As it turns out, however, Kamala Harris was being less than honest in her portrayal of Abraham Lincoln’s record.

“In 1864… Abraham Lincoln was up for reelection, and it was 27 days before the election, and a seat became open on the United States Supreme Court. Abraham Lincoln’s party was in charge not only of the White House but the Senate,” Harris began.

“But Honest Abe said, ‘It’s not the right thing to do. The American people deserve to make the decision about who will be the next president of the United States and then that person can select who will serve for a lifetime on the highest court of our land.'”

Yet Lincoln said no such thing. In fact, the polarization of the Supreme Court is a fairly recent phenomenon, dating back to the living Constitution approach of activist judges amending the Constitution by fiat — “discovering” a right to abortion in the Fourteenth Amendment, for example. Before Roe v. Wade (1973), and really before Joe Biden led the smear campaign against Robert Bork in 1987, Supreme Court nominations often proceeded as a matter of course.

Harris was correct that when Supreme Court Chief Justice Roger B. Taney died on October 12, 1864, President Lincoln did not nominate his successor, Salmon P. Chase, until after the election. This had nothing to do with letting “the next president” choose the nominee, however.

As National Review‘s Dan McLaughlin explained, Lincoln delayed because the Senate was not in session when Taney died. In fact, the Senate session ended on July 4, 1864, and did not convene again until December 5, 1864. “It was once common for the Senate to be out of session for much of the summer and fall,” McLaughlin wrote. The Senate session calendar confirms this.

As McLaughlin noted, Lincoln nominated Chase on the very day that the Senate reconvened, and the Senate confirmed him that day.

In fact, historian David Donald claimed that Lincoln dangled a potential Supreme Court nomination before Chase in the hopes that Chase — a former senator, governor, secretary of the Treasury, and presidential candidate — would support Lincoln’s reelection. He did so, and the president won reelection—a reelection that was vital to winning the Civil War.

Lincoln did not delay the nomination out of some high democratic principle. He certainly did not do so in order to prevent President Donald Trump from nominating a successor to Ruth Bader Ginsburg 156 years hence. He did so because the Senate was out of session, and that may have worked to his benefit in corralling Chase to support his reelection.

Make no mistake: Kamala Harris twisted history on Lincoln and the Supreme Court — and she did so in order to dodge a far more pertinent question: whether she and Joe Biden support packing the Court, fundamentally changing the rules of the game to support the very “living Constitution” judicial activism that politicized the Court in the first place.

Now that eight people who attended the Rose Garden ceremony last Saturday for Supreme Court Nominee Amy Coney Barrett have tested positive for COVID-19, concerns are being raised about the faith leaders who attended the event.

One of the faith leaders—Franklin Graham, CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA)—sat next to the Rev. John Jenkins, president of Notre Dame University, at the ceremony.

Rev. Jenkins is one of eight attendees who tested positive for COVID-19 this week and has been criticized by Notre Dame students and faculty for not following social distancing protocols at the event. (Most of the approximately 150 people attending the Rose Garden ceremony did not wear masks and sat close together.)

Yet according to Mark Barber, a spokesman for Samaritan’s Purse and the BGEA, Graham tested negative for COVID this week before a trip to Alaska.

Barber added that Graham’s daughter, Cissie Graham Lynch, who sat next to him at the ceremony, is in “great health,” but didn’t comment on whether she had been tested for COVID.

In addition to attending the Rose Garden ceremony, Graham also led the Washington Prayer March with thousands of participants last Saturday. However, the prayer march was held prior to the 5:00 p.m. Rose Garden event.

Also at the ceremony, directly behind Graham and Rev. Jenkins, was Jerry Prevo, acting president of Liberty University. Prevo also participated in the prayer march along with more than 2,200 Liberty University students.

Prevo tweeted Friday night that many had asked about his health since visiting President Trump at the White House on Saturday. Prevo said both he and his wife had just tested negative for COVID-19.

Less is known about the condition of other faith leaders who were at the event and sitting in close proximity to Rev. Jenkins.

This includes Paula White, who heads the White House’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative and Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board.

White was slated to speak at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority 2020” conference in Atlanta earlier this week but did not do so, according to Religion News Service.

I reached out to White for comment, but did not get a response by time of publishing.

Also slated to speak at the “Road to Majority 2020” conference was Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma. Lankford was not at the Rose Garden ceremony but had several meetings this week with Senator Mike Lee of Utah, who was another one of the eight people at the ceremony who tested positive for COVID this week.

The others who tested positive for COVID were President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump; Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president; Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina; Former N.J. Governor Chris Christie; and an unnamed journalist.

Lankford said when he learned of Senator Lee’s diagnosis, he left the faith conference and drove home. Today, Lankford announced that his test for COVID had come back negative, but said he would still quarantine.

Both Ralph Reed, who heads the Faith and Freedom Coalition, and televangelist Jentezen Franklin, pastor of the Georgia megachurch Free Chapel, also attended the Rose Garden ceremony and  subsequently spoke at the “Road to Majority 2020” conference.

I reached out to Reed for comment about his health but did not hear back.

Franklin, however, posted a video on Twitter today, saying that he not only had attended the Rose Garden event, but had prayed with President Trump beforehand. Yet Franklin said he learned today that his COVID test had come back negative, and encouraged his church family to join him at services on Sunday.

Mike Pence, who has tested negative for COVID, also spoke at the “Road to Majority 2020” conference.

Other high-profile faith leaders at the Rose Garden event include Greg Laurie, pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship; Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church; Skip Heitzig, pastor of Calvary Church of Albuquerque; Robert Morris, pastor of Gateway Church; and Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.

Attempts to reach these men was not immediately successful.

Rose Garden guests
Picture of guests at Rose Garden event, many of whom are faith leaders. Circled are Melania Trump and Rev. John Jenkins, who tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the Arkansas Democrat GazetteGary Bauer, president of American Values, attended the Rose Garden event, as well.

I talked with a spokesperson with American Values to confirm Bauer’s attendance and to inquire about his condition. She said someone would get back to me, but at time of publishing, no one has.

UPDATE: On Sunday, Calvary Church of Albuquerque said in an email that Pastor Skip Heitzig was tested last Saturday at the White House and his test came back negative. He was tested again since President Trump’s announcement of a positive result and the church is awaiting results of that test. Pastor Heitzig reportedly feels great and is not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Kamala’s Threat to American Democracy

Who, exactly, is a vice-president supposed to be?

The arrival of Joe Biden’s decision on a running mate is a true turning point in the history of American politics.

There has never before been a presidential candidate who, prior to entering the White House, has shown such undeniable signs of age-related neurological decay. All political disagreements disregarded, the sight of an elderly person succumbing to the demons of those dreaded cognitive ailments -- which all too often rob us of the older people we love -- is truly excruciating to behold.

The political outcome of Biden's mental state is, if possible, even more unsettling. The role of the president is meant to be powerful. All constitutional checks and balances considered, the sheer power of the chief executive, in that one single person invested with authority to counter-balance the power of the legislative and judicial branches, is truly awesome.

In our situation today, we see a man who is clearly not in full command of his mental faculties, who is allowing himself to be considered for that office of chief executive; an office which, unlike a prime minister in a parliamentary system, is intended to be stable and not prone to regular changes in leadership.

The expectation of a normal four-year presidential tenure on Biden’s part if he is elected must, at the very least, be subjected to serious doubt. If pronouncing basic words -- let alone quoting the most famous phrase of our Declaration of Independence -- is such a confusing  ordeal for him, then it is our urgent duty to question whether this individual is fit to be the man who must accept the ultimate responsibility for this country’s national security and well-being.

These facts squarely cast the Democrat side of the current election as not a presidential election at all, but a vice-presidential election.

Should Biden win, the chances are very probable that his vice president will become the 47th president to finish out his first four-year term. As the vice president automatically succeeds to the Oval Office if the president dies or is rendered permanently incapacitated, the profoundly anti-democratic repercussions of this situation is worsened by whom Biden has actually chosen.

The traditional custom for presidential hopefuls is to either choose the second-highest-polling candidate in a primary race, as Ronald Reagan did with George H. W. Bush in 1980, or to choose a highly capable politician who is well-respected by most of the party, as Donald Trump did with Governor Mike Pence in 2016. In both of those cases, the aforementioned running mates reflected the Republican Party and its voters quite respectably while promoting unity.

It is highly questionable, meanwhile, whether Kamala Harris -- aside from all of the establishment media’s expected giddy cheerleading -- really represents her party all that well. She was polling at 2% nationally by the time she ended her own presidential bid on December 3, 2019. Her more radical positions, such as support for the Obama administration’s Iran deal, prosecuting a journalist who exposed Planned Parenthood’s collection and sale of aborted babies’ body parts (while receiving campaign donations from them), and defending Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism, may indeed sit well with a great many leftists, but her actions as Attorney General of California may not. While in that position, Harris jailed hundreds on marijuana charges and authorized anti-prostitution sting operations which, according to SF Weekly, disproportionately targeted Latino men (a crucial Democrat demographic). In addition to this -- though she later admitted it was a mistake -- she prosecuted and jailed the parents of truant teens. She even refused to release the names of Catholic priests accused of sexually molesting children, abnegating law enforcement’s most basic and humane duty -- regardless of anyone’s opinion of the Catholic Church.

it is highly debatable if these are positions that a high number of progressives who voted for the Democrat primary runner-up, Bernie Sanders, would approve of. Especially today, being tough on minority and drug crime -- to the exclusion of “white patriarchal” clergy sex abuse -- is not en vogue among the Democratic Party’s truly energized base, which is largely college-educated millennials taught to have contempt for not only aggressive inner city policing, but inner city policing overall.

It also remains a question as to how many black American voters Kamala really represents. Without doubt, she completely failed to gain these voters' support during the primary. Many black Americans responded to Barack and Michelle Obama due to their image as people who empathized authentically with the black experience of living in inner city America. Harris’s flip-flopping on criminal justice issues has clearly deprived her of the Obama touch.

What should highly concern all Americans of whatever political persuasion is the fact that, given Joe Biden’s medical condition, a Democrat victory in 2020 could very likely result in a person for whom only 2% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning Independents supported to become president.

The reasons for Biden’s choice of Kamala Harris as his running mate are as yet not entirely clear. What is very clear, however, is that a new president of the United States in the near future could be a person whom a weak and faltering man chose by fiat, and not someone whom the majority of the country elected by the ballot.

That's a problem.

It's a problem for America -- and it's a serious and profound problem for American democracy.

TIME TO CONFRONT THE TYRANNY OF SOCIAL MEDIA CENSORSHIP

TWITTER STOCK PLUMMETS AS TRUMP SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER

ON BIG TECH CENSORSHIP!!!

★★★ A NEW CONSERVATIVE AGE IS RISING ★★★ President Trump is officially signing an executive order dealing directly with the plague of social media censorship! That’s right; in this video, we’re going to take a look at the executive order and how it addresses Big Tech’s propensity towards censoring conservative and populist voices, and how both Twitter and Facebook, in particular, are ALREADY feeling its consequences; this is going to make your day, you’re not going to want to miss it!

It’s time the little blue birds of Twitter come home to roost. While we’re at it, clean out the henhouse of Facebook, Instagram, Google and the other plucky tech giants.

The Trump administration is laying the groundwork to fence them all in for their blatant discrimination. It’s about time. Where’s the “hell-yes” emoji?

Under consideration is the creation of a White House commission to explore allegations of anticonservative bias by social media businesses. Interestingly, it’s coming from the most prolific Twitter user to occupy the White House. It’s also not the first time President Donald Trump’s torched social media platforms, according to The Hill, which reported the president tweeted in 2019 the tech giants engage in, “tremendous dishonesty, bias, discrimination and suppression practiced by certain companies. We will not let them get away with it much longer.”

Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart, “Well, the president has made it very clear that we are not going to tolerate censorship on the Internet and social media against conservatives. We’re just not going to tolerate it.”

The pressure is building. News broke last year that the Justice Department was investigating unspecified online platforms to consider concerns raised about “search, social media and some retail services online.” Independently, 47 state attorneys general are probing Facebook for antitrust violations.

The firearm and ammunition industry has more than a few instances of documented antigun bias by social media companies. There’s a love-hate relationship with the social media platforms. They’ve become so ubiquitous that it’s nearly impossible to reach customers without them. NSSF has argued they’ve become the virtual public square, where people from every walk of life can not only see pictures and video of friends and family, but express ideas, debate topics and participate in civic discourse. That is, of course, if they’re allowed.

Community Standards

Jessica Keffer, the marketing manager for the Sportsman’s Shop in East Earl, Pa., went on Fox and Friends to describe the discrimination her business faced from Facebook. She was booted for advertising on Facebook over American flags. Keffer’s ad wasn’t about gun sales, but with her attempt to boost an “Honor the Flag” promotion. The ad was approved and then rejected. The reason given was, “It’s because you have a link to your website on your page which does sell firearms. That’s also against our policies I’m afraid.”

The ad had nothing to do with selling guns and while the Sportsman’s Shop sells guns, all sales are completed in a face-to-face transaction, and with a background check, in accordance with federal and state laws.

Keffer was pointed to Facebook’s Prohibited Content section, a part of the social media giants Ad Policies. “Ads must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives,” one of the subsections reads. But Keffer’s ad was about flags, not guns. The Daily Caller dug deeper and Facebook told them since the page links back to the shop’s website, which advertises guns, they canned the ad.

Google It

It wasn’t just Mark Zuckerburg’s baby. Tech giant Google assigns a “Family Status” to every product in the Google Shopping function. In 2012, Google moved firearm-related content to the same “non family safe” category as adult content. The bias didn’t end there.

Google discriminated against Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, a conservation organization that is dedicated to putting millions of acres into perpetual trusts and conservation lands and restoring wild elk populations across America. RMEF wanted to promote an eight-minute video about the benefits of hunting to conservation. Google labeled it “animal cruelty.”

It didn’t get turned around until U.S. Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and U.S. Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-Mont.) sent a letter to Google’s CEO demanding answers.

It wasn’t the first time, either. Google owns YouTube, which shut down Brownells’ channel without warming in 2018. Brownells’ 69,000 subscribers, and the company, were left in the dark. Brownells issued a social media call-to-arms and their customers responded and YouTube restored the channel.  The whole dustup was for supposed “violating YouTube Community Guidelines.” Even founder of Ars Techica and former Wired editor Jon Stokes scratching his head. He’s plugged into all things in the tech world and he couldn’t make the connection to any community standard that would have possibly posed a hazard.

Stokes tweeted, “I gotta say something else about this. Brownells is like the stodgiest, old-schoolest, non-tactical, non- ‘assault rifle’, old-hunting-guy brand in the gun world. When your platform has summarily executed Brownells, you’ve just gone too far.”

Infringing Rights

These tech giants, for years, have been infringing First Amendment rights to quash Second Amendment rights. Buying and selling guns is a constitutionally-protected right. A three-judge panel at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said as much in their ruling on Teixeira vs. Alameda County that reads “the right to purchase and sell firearms is part and parcel of the historically recognized right to keep and bear arms.”

Social media corporations have been suppressing the firearm industry, gun ownership, firearm safety and anything that could be related to guns in the name of “community standards” and what they determine to be in the best interests of Americans. That right doesn’t belong to virtual overlords. That free exchange of ideas belongs to the people.

It’s time the blue birds came home to roost.

Sharia YouTube bans David Wood video on Muslim persecution of Christians as “hate speech”

You can view the video that YouTube banned here. SEE: https://www.bitchute.com/video/Z5EtGvohkXY8/

As noted many times here, “hate speech” is not, contrary to the assumption of indoctrinated college students everywhere, a readily identifiable category. It is a subjective term that is used by the powerful to silence the powerless. The powers behind YouTube don’t want you to know about the Islamic persecution of Christians. Thus it is “hate speech” and must be banned.

As this continues, the freedom of society itself will be threatened. Once the social media giants can silence people unchallenged, they can wield absolute power, for who will have a platform to challenge them, even the President of the United States?

I warned about all this in my book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Free Speech (and Its Enemies). But that book was, of course, “hate speech.”

So Far, No Twitter Punishment for Kathy Griffin After Another Trump-should-die Tweet

BY R. CORT KIRKWOOD

SEE: https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/35842-so-far-no-twitter-punishment-for-kathy-griffin;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

Kathy Griffin, the has-been comedienne who wrecked her career after publishing a photo of herself holding a bloody, severed head that resembled President Trump, is at it again.

Apparently determined to finish what she started in 2017, the foul-mouthed redhead tweeted that the president should be injected with a syringe filled with air, which would cause an air bubble in his vein, and possibly, kill him.

Though the tweet was deleted because it violated Twitter’s rules, Twitter has not suspended the perpetually angry woman’s account, a not surprising pass given that the social-media platform, as The New American reported today, permits its own executives to violate its rules with impunity.

The Tweet
The occasion of Griffin’s latest outrage was her tweet that replied to one from CNN’s White House reporter, Jim Acosta, who had observed that Trump, speaking at an event about protecting seniors with diabetes, said he doesn’t use insulin.

Replied Griffin, “Syringe with nothing but air on the inside should do the trick. F*** Trump.”

Such an injection would result in a potentially fatal air or gas embolism, which might travel to the heart or brain.

When the Washington Examiner tweeted its story about Griffin’s remark, she was unchastened: “I SURE DID, F***ER.”

To another individual who tweeted that Twitter was looking into it, she was even nastier: “Go f*** yourself. Do you wanna tussle with me, you f***ing amateur?”

Regardless, the original tweet “is no longer available because it violated the Twitter Rules,” the social-media site’s replacement notice says.

Dox the Covington Kids
Twitter is, of course, selective in what it requires radical leftists to delete.

Example: Griffin’s crazy tweets after the media smeared Covington Catholic High School kids as racists. Using manipulated video, media leftists subjected the students to the usual Two Minutes Hate after a “Native American elder,” who falsely claimed to be a war hero, started a confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial after the March for Life.

Griffin didn’t wait to find out what really happened, and instead rushed to Twitter and called for a doxing and public humiliation:

The reply from the school was pathetic and impotent. Name these kids. I want NAMES. Shame them. If you think these f****rs wouldn’t dox you in a heartbeat, think again….

Names please. And stories from people who can identify them and vouch for their identity. Thank you.

Griffin’s tweets could have inspired a deranged follower to harm one or more of the students, but Twitter did nothing. The tweets are still available, though they clearly “violated the Twitter rules,” which say “you may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so.”

The students sued Griffin for the attempted doxing, but a federal judge tossed the case because her tweets were not acts committed within the jurisdiction of the federal court in Kentucky.

Downward Spiral
Twitter rages, it seems, are Griffin’s only means of inviting publicity.

After she posed holding the bloody visage of Trump’s head two years ago, her career stopped cold.

Though she apologized, she lost her gig co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper, and also piqued the interest of the Secret Service. Not surprisingly, she retracted her apology.

Griffin claimed the president made her “unemployable and insurable.”

Actually, Griffin made herself  “unemployable and insurable,” but in any event she thought a documentary about her travails might earn some money. Last year’s Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story was a pathetic failure. It earned just $208,907 in 648 theaters over 301 days in release, Box Office Mojo reported.

That’s about $1.07 per theater per day.

Nor has Griffin’s career done much better since.

The comedienne’s website reports “NO CURRENT TOUR DATES.”

KAREN PRIOR SAYS DISCERNMENT HURTS HER WORSE THAN BEING HIT BY A BUS

EXCERPT:

“My focus was on doing right and calling others to do right, as well. I wonder now if being focused on these things is what led me to get lost on my walk that morning. Similarly, those in leadership (along with the rest of us) can, by focusing on one right thing, sacrifice countless other right things along the way. But to neglect other goods in the service of one other good is sin.”
Karen Swallow Prior: Sin Is Like Walking in Front of a Bus
KAREN PRIOR SAYS DISCERNMENT HURTS HER WORSE THAN BEING HIT BY A BUS

Never underestimate the desire of a leftist to engage in victimology. If they are not the victim of an actual crime or act of aggression, they will go so far as to make up their grievances (like Jussie Smollett or Kyle J. Howard) or even lament their own ability to look both ways before crossing the street.
Drawing from her accident, caused by stepping foot in front of a bus, Karen Swallow Prior said on Twitter that what hurts even worse are discernment ministries documenting her leftist agenda and the harm it has caused her reputation.
I’m going to say something, and I am not looking for pity or anything like it.
I’m going to say it because it’s true, and because some who are true brothers and sisters in Christ need to hear it.
Here goes…
1/3— Karen Swallow Prior (Notorious KSP) (@KSPrior) February 19, 2020
I was literally hit by a bus and suffered multiple serious, life-changing injuries.
But the pain & trauma of that was nothing compared to what I have endured as a result of the trolling, lies, misrepresentations I have endured by a few in and adjacent to the #SBC.
2/3— Karen Swallow Prior (Notorious KSP) (@KSPrior) February 19, 2020
(Of course, others have endured far worse.)
I don’t expect many of the critics to “hear” this. But maybe a few whose criticisms are rooted in pure, good intent will. I pray so.
Brothers and sisters, we must do better. Not only for each other, but for our Lord. #SBC2020
3/3— Karen Swallow Prior (Notorious KSP) (@KSPrior) February 19, 2020
Karen Swallow Prior ought to feel hurt and saddened by the work that exposes her as a liar and a twister of Scripture. We agree.
Although Prior characterizes polemics reporting as “trolling, lies, and misrepresentations,” all reporting has thus far been accurate and has served to warn evangelicals of her subversive agenda as a political change-agent in evangelical institutions.
For a summary of concerns regarding this dangerous woman, includes the first post written about her, Gay Affirming Research Fellow at ERLC, Shocking Liberalism, attended pro-LGBTQ fundraisers, supported pro-LGBTQ ad campaigns, and backpedaled and soft-handed abortion while pretending to have been a pro-life advocate (various claims about her past activism cannot be substantiated), radical animal rights activists saw Prior as an “ally and resource contributor” to “invade right-wing evangelical institutions with an animal-first agenda” as far back as 2007, she gave glowing accolades of a book that argues against the pro-life position, said in Christianity Today that abortion is not murder and defended abortionists from the accusation of being “murderers,” said that calling abortion murder is unchristlike, is on record saying that animal cruelty (in this case, dog-fighting) bothers her more than abortion ,is glib about dining with the director of Planned Parenthood, and many ministries and sites have noted Prior’s compromise on abortion.
Additionally, Dr. Prior seems intent on corrupting young people, praising the “It Gets Better Campaign,” which is a pro-LGBT campaign targeted at youth and children and produced videos from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton encouraging kids in their homosexuality. Dr. Prior praised Common Core curriculum, calling it Good News (I kid you not). Prior endorsed the use of gay porn propaganda in high schools and colleges. She believes that pets go to Heaven because when you name them it gives them personhood. Prior says she wants an end to modern animal husbandry and factory farms “even if the economy of the country be damned.”
Dr. Prior was thrilled when Bernie Sanders came to Liberty University. When the late Rachel Held Evans was appointed to Obama’s faith advisory council, Prior was giddy with excitement and enthusiastically applauded her. Prior has given affirming words towards the anti-cop hate group, Black Lives Matter. Prior ridiculed Mike Pence for following the Billy Graham Rule. Prior promotes and supports illegal immigration. Prior says that poor people in bad neighborhoods shouldn’t have firearms.
As a feminist (that’s a term she uses to describe herself), Prior has launched a ministry program with other progressive-liberal women to promote what they call “hospitable orthodoxy.”
We hope and pray that discernment ministries metaphorically hit Dr. Prior like a bus. We pray it takes her off her feet and places her on her knees in repentance.
This verse applies to her…“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” (Hebrews 12:11)
It has to be a painful thing for Prior to hear that people consider her to be a liar and almost surely not even regenerate.
However, we would also cite Romans 12 in regards to her…
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
We pray that the wicked will understand our desire that all the harm we do to their feelings and reputation will bring them to repentance and eternal joy, not to suffering.
