Surveillance balloons are the least of our worries when it comes to Chinese infiltration of the United States. 

For nearly a decade now, Chinese companies with ties to the ruling communist regime have been buying up military academies in the United States, including the one attended by former President Donald J. Trump. 

Here is the story as reported by the Washington Free Beacon:

In 2015, a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, which serves as the Chinese Communist Party’s political advisory board, purchased Donald Trump’s alma mater, the New York Military Academy, for $16 million…. Conference member Mo Tianquan secured the purchase after a bidding war with another Chinese conglomerate.

Two years later, a Chinese education conglomerate purchased the Florida Preparatory Academy as part of its plan to create “a global educational alliance system.” The organization partnered with a CCP-controlled regional government agency on the initiative. Both the New York Military Academy and Florida Preparatory Academy operate Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) programs, which train future military officers.

The response to the surreptitious consolidation of American schools with military academies has been tepid, at best.

Again, from the Free Beacon:

Rep. Michael Waltz (R., Fla.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, says Chinese ownership of these schools could pose a national security threat.

“To the extent that those private schools have junior ROTC programs that are forming the backbone of our future leaders of our military, this is something I would hope and would expect the Defense Department would work with me to better understand,” Waltz told the Washington Free Beacon.

Waltz on Tuesday sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, urging the Pentagon to survey JROTC programs at private schools across the country to see if they are foreign-owned.

“With the ongoing military recruitment crisis, I am concerned that any students we recruit into the service from these CCP-influenced schools will have a sympathetic view of China’s political and strategic aims,” Waltz, who chairs the House subcommittee on military readiness, wrote to Austin.

As for the Chinese, what interest would they have in adding private military academies to their vast and valuable portfolio of American holdings?

An article published by a mouthpiece for Beijing claims that the Chinese companies started buying up these schools “in the hopes of cashing in on Chinese students’ quest for admission into a U.S. college.”

Beijing is clever enough to know not only the loopholes in U.S. immigration laws but how to pass plenty of Chinese nationals through those loopholes and onto the rolls of American private schools.

Following the purchase of the New York Military Academy by Fang Holdings, the new superintendent predicted a prolific influx of Chinese students to the school.

Perhaps the part of the story that is most enraging is not the purchase of the private schools by agents or advocates of the Chinese government, but that our own Department of Defense is funneling funds from American taxpayers to the companies carrying water for the Chinese Communists!

As the Free Beacon revealed:

According to a federal spending database, the Department of Defense has awarded over $475,000 in contracts for various cadet programs to New York Military Academy since its Chinese takeover.

It’s quite a feat for the Chinese Communist Party and its supporters not only to purchase private schools with military academies but to do so with money unknowingly provided by American taxpayers.

Still not convinced that this story is smoke that signals a fire? Consider this information provided by the Free Beacon report:

Mo, Fang’s founder and majority shareholder, has openly discussed his allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party. In 2018, Mo said he was “very honored” to be a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, which he affirmed operates “under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.” He said a qualification for the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference role was to be “a good serviceman in government.” At the New York Military Academy, Mo has installed many of his Chinese business partners on the historic school’s board of trustees.

The owner of the Florida Preparatory Academy, formerly known as the Florida Air Academy, has in recent years built up an international network of private schools as part of a “global educational alliance system.” China’s Newopen Group, which in 2017 purchased the school for an unknown sum, a year before the purchase signed a strategic partnership with Chongqing Environmental Investment Group, a CCP-linked municipal agency, to build the network across China, North America, Europe, and Australia.

From the purchase of these private schools with military academies to the shameless and fearless floating of a surveillance balloon across nearly the entire territory of the United States from Alaska to beyond the coast of South Carolina, to the secret establishment of police stations throughout North America, the Chinese Communist Party and its agents, affiliates, and adherents are, to use James Madison’s words, making “silent and gradual” strides toward creating a secret but solid presence in the United States — and they are using American taxpayer money to do so.

A message sent to former President Trump requesting comment on the Chinese purchase of his alma mater has gone unanswered as of the publishing of this article.

SINGAPORE — Venezuela has resurfaced as a prominent player in the world’s energy market, as the U.S. lifts oil sanctions on the country amid a global energy shortage.

The South American country produced more than three million barrels of oil daily 20 years ago, exporting 1.8 million barrels of that to the United States, but its abundant production was undermined by corruption and a fall in oil prices.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump enforced sanctions against Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro in 2019, but the Ukraine-Russia crisis since 2022 has tweaked U.S. priorities, and the U.S. has had to recalibrate relations with oil producers like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia on the grounds of reducing dependence on Russian energy.

In late 2022, U.S. President Joe Biden loosened sanctions on Venezuela in exchange for democratic reforms, which caused Venezuela to emerge again as a major oil source for the U.S. and Europe.

ORC Consulting Firm director and political analyst Oswaldo Contreras remarked: “The reality is that Venezuela became a real focus of attention for this reason. For the western world, it can be a relatively secure and trustworthy oil provider that can also support Europe.”

The last ten years witnessed the shrinking of the country’s oil sector by about two-thirds, and currently, Venezuela produces less than 700,000 barrels daily. The loosening of sanctions could gradually increase that figure to over a million barrels, though observers contend that it still would require over a year for the country to attain that target, as considerable investment is needed in the oil sector following years of mismanagement.

In November, the U.S. said it would permit Chevron, the last American company to operate in Venezuela, to start obtaining oil in limited amounts there again. Chevron is involved in five onshore and offshore production projects in the country and owns stakes in four joint ventures with state oil company PDVSA.

Mariana Vargas Carballo, an oil expert from Gas Energy Latin America, commented: “This license states that they are going to renew every month. It will be renewed every month for a period of six months maximum. And that gives you the perception that it is a trial test. It is not a long-term permit.” “We cannot expect a large increase in production,” she said. “At the beginning, it is expected to extract about 100,000 to 150,000 barrels per day, but the maximum they can reach is 250,000 barrels per day.”

The recent U.S. move has been lambasted by Venezuelan opposition and activists, as well as some American lawmakers. These critics think that Washington is ignoring human rights abuses in the country.

Since 1999, Venezuela has been governed by an authoritarian socialist regime that holds a tight grip on all of the country’s public institutions and branches of power. The regime has unlawfully held on to power since 2019 via sham presidential elections in 2018, and control of the National Assembly through another round of sham elections in 2020.

Maduro, high-ranking members of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and the nation’s military have been singled out by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other international organizations for helming the Cartel de los Soles (Cartel of the Suns), one of the largest intercontinental drug trafficking networks in the region.

The leftist regime in the country also enjoys widespread networks among other international criminal organizations, such as Colombia’s Marxist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), and members of the socialist regime have been directly blamed for their ties to international terrorist organizations. For instance, the regime’s oil minister, Tareck el Aissami, has been criticized for having links to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, to whom the Maduro regime has sold Venezuelan passports.

Additionally, a Transparency International report revealed that illegal business accounted for 21 percent of Venezuela’s entire GDP in 2021. The report also broached the issue of Venezuela’s mining arc, where criminal organizations “exercise vast control over gold mining operations, using extortion and paying off military commanders to maintain their illegal activities.” “These groups are responsible for human rights violations, including enforced disappearances, the killing of indigenous leaders and the displacement of their communities, forced prostitution, and labor exploitation of both adults and children, as well as contamination and other serious environmental crimes,” the report asserted.

The United Nations (UN), through its Independent Fact-Finding Mission, released a detailed report in 2020 confirming the control of the mining arc, where the criminal groups — notwithstanding the “considerable” presence of Venezuela’s military — participated in serious crimes like extortion, amputation, child labor, and the burying of living miners.

Maduro praised the recent U.S. moves and even urged for a total cessation of all sanctions. “The licenses granted by the U.S. government, some of them known and some other unknown, they’re going on the right track, although they are not enough,” he said.

The Biden administration posited that future loosening of sanctions will hinge on further political deals, such as the release of political prisoners and free and fair Venezuelan elections in 2024.

Last year, Venezuela ranked as the most corrupt country in the Americas, with Haiti and other authoritarian regimes in the region like Cuba and Nicaragua trailing behind, based on Transparency International’s 28th Annual Corruption Perceptions Index.

The report listed Venezuela as the fourth most corrupt out of 180 countries, behind only Somalia, Syria, and South Sudan.

What is more, the report said, the top three most corrupt countries in the Americas, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela, are those whose public institutions have been corrupted by criminal networks, and hence “it is difficult to draw a line between public institutions and criminal activities” in those countries.

“Pervasive corruption across the Americas fuels the many other crises facing the region,” said Delia Ferreira Rubio, chair of Transparency International. “Weak governments fail to stop criminal networks, social conflict, and violence, and some exacerbate threats to human rights by concentrating power in the name of tackling insecurity.”

“The only way forward is for leaders to prioritize decisive action against corruption to uproot its hold and enable governments to fulfill their first mandate: protecting the people,” Ferreira said, a suggestion likely to remain unheeded by Maduro, who has a $15 million U.S. bounty on his head for drug trafficking.

A commercial chicken coop recently went up in flames for unknown reasons. If this were a one-off event, it would probably be unremarkable. But, as Jeff Reynolds has previously documented, there appears to be a pattern of infernos engulfing food production and processing sites.

Via NBC Connecticut:

More than 100 firefighters worked to put out a large fire at an egg farm in Bozrah on Saturday.

Firefighters said the fire was in a 50 foot by 600 foot operating chicken coop at Hillandale Farms on Schwartz Road.

Crews from 16 surrounding departments including Colchester, East Haddam, Salem, Gardner Lake, Lebanon, Franklin, Yantic and Sterling, Taftville, Montville, Oakdale and Lisbon and more than 100 firefighters total responded to the scene.

It’s unclear what may have started the fire. [emphasis added]

If you pay close attention to these stories, a recurring theme is either real or feigned uncertainty of the cause by the authorities.

Tucker Carlson, virtually alone in the legacy media, did an excellent segment recently chronicling the bizarre food processor fire phenomenon and the wider egg shortage issue.

Is this all just a massive coincidence? It’s certainly possible. Stranger things have occurred. But, again, there appears to be a clear pattern. Beyond speculation, here’s what we know:

  • The peasants are not to consume meat in the new techno-utopia per directives from the WEF and filtered down to the national and local levels of occupied territories.
  • Starvation is an excellent social control tool that has been used strategically throughout history by authoritarian regimes — Stalin, Mao, etc.
  • We know next to nothing about what the Deep State, particularly the intelligence agencies, do in the dark. Congressional oversight is a sick joke. What we do know is that they are extremely well-funded, and they have no issue violating the limits of their intended scope. If the CIA is capable of orchestrating an assassination of a sitting U.S. president, which increasingly moves out of the conspiracy theory realm into conspiracy fact, then blowing up rural egg farms is comparatively a logistical cakewalk.
  • The corporate media is largely silent on the agricultural fire phenomenon, which usually indicates they would rather keep it out of the public discourse, possibly to avert a serious investigation into the cause.

You put the rest of the puzzle pieces together however you please. We’re left to figure serious issues like this out on our own because our government if it can be called “ours,” has no interest in tackling actual fundamental Public Health™ issues like whether the techno-slaves have food to eat.

Russia continues to further cement its influence abroad, expanding its economic and political reach even deeper into the Middle East with strategic investments.

In major news, Moscow has now become the number one foreign investor in Iran, according to the latter’s deputy finance minister, Ali Fekri.

Fekri stated that Russia “had brought some $2.7 billion worth of investment to two petroleum projects in Iran’s Western province of Ilam in the past 15 months,” accounting for 45 percent of all foreign investment secured by Tehran within that time frame.

The other top foreign investors in Iran for that reporting period were China, Turkey, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates. Fekri pointed out that Beijing had decreased its spending in Iran in 2022, saying, “China has invested nearly $185 million in Iran over that period, which we are not happy with given the number of negotiations and meetings we had.”

Per the deputy finance minister, during the last 15-month period, Tehran failed to meet its goal of $10.2 billion in foreign investment, making it only $5.95 billion.

Between expanded trade agreements and oil-pipeline contracts, Iran and Russia significantly increased their work together in 2022 in order to get around sanctions that western powers have slapped on both nations.

In total, there was a trade turnover surge of 15 percent between Russia and Iran last year, which came out to a sum of $4.6 billion.

The collaboration was punctuated by the signing earlier this month of a free-trade memorandum between Iran and Russia’s Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) — a move anticipated to grow the relationship between the two countries.

Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of Russia’s State Duma, called the mutual trade “extremely important in the conditions of sanctions pressure on our countries.”

Praising the free-trade memorandum, Volodin asserted that Moscow and Tehran should work on improving collaboration in finance and banking and that they can achieve this, in part, by using national currencies more often in settlements.

“It is important to use settlements in national currencies more actively. Much has already been done in this regard — now the share of the ruble and the rial in mutual settlements exceeds 60%. The work on the joint application of national payment systems is being completed. This will minimize the impact of sanctions, but also, of course, address issues related to mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Volodin.

Russia also notably increased its trade with China last year. As seen in a Wall Street Journal report, Moscow ramped up its importation from China of technologies key to the war in Ukraine. Per data that came from the D.C.-based Free Russia Foundation, China’s purchase of Russian goods more than made up for the trade Moscow lost due to western sanctions — essentially rendering those sanctions ineffectual.

“As the U.S., EU, the U.K. have all scaled back operations with Russia, China has emerged, by a wide margin, to be Russia’s most important trade partner,” the Free Russia Foundation’s report reads.

The Journal further notes:

China has become a supplier of some key technologies that can have a military purpose despite the Western sanctions. China sold $3.3 million worth of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, to Russia last year, according to the data. The report noted that drone deliveries to Russia continued in November and December from the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, China and Singapore. 

Russia last year increased its imports of semiconductors and microchips by around 34%, with China emerging as the major source. That has helped Russia increase its overall import of chips to $2.45 billion in 2022 from $1.82 billion in 2021, despite Western sanctions targeting that trade. 

Russia and China have spent years forging stronger economic ties, including a $55 billion gas pipeline and Russia’s increased usage of China’s yuan. The economic relationship has deepened even as long-simmering concerns remain among officials in Moscow that Russia could become captive to China’s economic orbit.

The information on which the Free Russia Foundation based its analysis came from a third-party data provider, and it was compiled in partnership with Madrid-based IE University by a team that included Russian economists and former Russian officials.

The data indicates that trade between Moscow and Beijing rose by approximately $27 billion in the period from March to September 2022 compared to the same period the year before. In total, trade between the two giants has now reached $99 billion.

A great deal of this is owing to larger sales of crude, a result of Russia sending more of its product to eastern trade partners such as China, India, and Turkey as western nations have imposed restrictions on the purchase of Russian oil.

Trade has gone both ways. Russia has increased its dependence on Chinese goods, with 36 percent of its imports coming from China during the March-September period. In the comparable period in 2021, Russia’s imports from China were at 21 percent, meaning the figure went up by a significant 15 percent.

This comes as the war between Russia and Ukraine rages on. Western nations have escalated their involvement in the conflict; Joe Biden authorized sending M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, while Germany is sending Leopard 2 tanks. That’s on top of all the ammunition, anti-ship, and air-defense systems, and thousands of armored vehicles that the United States and its allies have already sent to Ukraine.

Gradually, Russia and China are building a formidable global hegemony that is taking the teeth out of the western powers’ economic threats and boxing the United States into irrelevance.

A racist in a tablecloth suit named Dr. Umar Johnson decreed on The Breakfast Club radio show recently that the American government must carve out a full quarter of all economic activity — in perpetuity. “We get a 25% cut… every time America makes a dollar.” That would amount to approximately six trillion dollars annually. He makes sure to emphasize this is a forever arrangement.

Specifically, he wants cash for the “psychological damages” wrought by slavery. Nearly everything, apparently, counts as “psychological damage” to Dr. Johnson. “When you see a black man take the life of another black man, that’s psychological damage [caused by white supremacy],” he explains.

I have previously elaborated on the logistical difficulties of administering such a program of reparations, such as determining who qualifies as sufficiently genetically black and the disproportionate historical impact of racism based on skin tone (called “colorism”).

Another important consideration here is: what is the endpoint? Does anyone seriously believe Dr. Johnson would be satisfied with a mere 25% cut of the pie? What would stop him from demanding 50%, 75%, or 100% at some point in the future, on a whim? He and his ideological allies would certainly have more financial resources at that point to use on lobbying efforts. And if we know anything about American politicians and politicians in general, nothing’s off the table if there’s enough cash passing hands under the table.

The reparations idea would be a lot easier to entertain (although it would still be a non-starter for fundamental moral reasons) if there were some point at which the debt owed by the guilty party (white people) could ever be considered paid.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the new Republican-controlled Congress were given an extension by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen earlier this month to remedy the debt ceiling by June to avert a catastrophic default on U.S. debt. That gives them less than five months to find an agreeable solution. 

The United States reached its debt limit of $31.4 trillion on January 19, with the Treasury Department using “extraordinary measures” to ensure the federal government will not default on its obligations. Both Congress and President Biden will need to agree to raise or suspend the statutory debt limit before June to keep the government solvent. 

The Republicans, who have a slim majority in the House, are demanding spending cuts as part of any deal to raise the debt ceiling. But they face a difficult challenge, as Biden has already rejected the possibility of linking increasing the debt ceiling with cutting federal spending. Administration officials believe the debt ceiling should be raised as part of a clean vote, without other conditions attached.  

Being fiscally responsible and making spending cuts is easy to talk about, but the real conundrum Republican lawmakers are facing is what and where to find these spending cuts. Coming up with a solid plan is making life difficult for McCarthy and the narrow majority. 

NBC shared,  

“There’s gotta be cuts in spending. That has to happen,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., an ally of McCarthy, R-Calif., and the far right.  

But she declined to get specific when she was asked what should be cut.  

“I haven’t really formulated an exact list,” she said. 

There are many general areas of government spending that Republicans would love to cut, but they are divided on specific programs, including Medicare, Social Security, and military funding. They are willing to cut domestic non-defense spending, although it’s a small part of the overall budget and most likely won’t make much of an impact on balancing the budget. One thing they all agree on is that there should be no new tax revenues to reduce the debt.  

Speaker McCarthy will need to find a way to avoid another defiant stand by GOP representatives who will not budge from their core principles if he is to get a debt-ceiling bill passed and Biden’s signature. Those members of the House who sought concessions during McCarthy’s run for the speaker’s seat will pose the greatest challenge to his leadership.  

NBC continued:  

“I have said since I first ran that I would not vote for a debt ceiling increase apart from the cuts in spending that would put us on a path to fiscal responsibility,” said Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., who declined to elaborate on what specifically that would look like. 

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., who landed a seat on the powerful Rules Committee, said he wants to see “a downward trajectory” in long-term spending as part of any increase in the debt ceiling. 

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., another of the 20 initial McCarthy holdouts, said a debt limit bill should have an amendment to balance the budget over 10 years to win her vote.

Luna said she wants to do it without tax increases or Social Security or Medicare cuts. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” she said. 

Adding to McCarthy’s challenges within his own party is knowing that Biden is defiant and setting the stage for a long, drawn-out battle over the debt ceiling.  

The Hill reported:

“If Republicans want to work together on real solutions and continue to grow manufacturing jobs, build the strongest economy in the world and make sure Americans are paid a fair wage, I’m ready,” Biden said in remarks on the economy in Springfield, Va. “But I will not let anyone use the full faith and credit of the United States as a bargaining chip…. The very notion that we would default on the safest, most respected debt in the world is mind-boggling.” 

If an agreement can’t be reached in time, the consequences of default could include a stock market crash, a recession, higher interest rates, a weaker dollar, and a government unable to meet all its obligations — from funding the military to providing Social Security benefits. 

No one knows what Congress will eventually offer up as a solution, but it is apparent that the battle lines have been drawn and all sides are digging in, hopeful to win the day. The bottom line here is that no matter what happens with the debt ceiling, it will be the American taxpayer who will once again have to pay for our fiscally irresponsible government.

Billionaire Bill Gates recently called the rise of the greatest mass murderer in world history, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a “huge win for the world.” Gates also praised the extremely authoritarian COVID-19 lockdowns of Australia and urged the U.S. to be less hostile to China. Which leads to the question: Why is an American billionaire touting murderous totalitarianism and praising America’s worst enemy?

The Epoch Times reported that Bill Gates urged America and Australia to be conciliatory to the CCP. “I see China’s rise as a huge win for the world,” Gates enthused to the Lowry Institute in Sydney, Australia on Jan. 23. “[T]he current mentality of the U.S. to China—and which is reciprocated—is kind of a lose-lose mentality.”

The billionaire, who has been tied to vaccine scandals for years, mourned that U.S.-China hostility could impede medical progress and work on climate change. “That could be very self-fulfilling in a very negative way,” Gates said, referring to the “lose-lose mentality.” He did not seem concerned that China is the world’s biggest polluter and considers forced live organ harvests routine medical procedures. Not to mention the fact that the CCP is responsible for up to 500 million deaths.

”We’re all in this together. We’re humans. We innovate together and we have to change the modern industrial economy together in a pretty dramatic fashion,” Gates blathered. I contest the assertion that Gates is himself a human, but I find his vague plan for “dramatic” economic change worrying. What does he envision?

The Microsoft founder seems to admire failure if it leads to more money and power for elites. In fact, Gates, who invested hundreds of millions in the COVID-19 vaccines, once called vaccines the “best investment” he ever made, boasting to CNBC that he had made a 20-to-1 financial return on his vaccine investments (I guarantee at least some of that is a personal benefit). That’s probably why he loves Australia’s COVID-19 policies. Sure, the country rounded up COVID-positive citizens and transported them to “quarantine camps,” arrested escapees from the camps, and then imposed a restrictive COVID vaccine mandate (the vaccines that turned out to have been very ineffective at stopping the spread of COVID). But Gates is a fan nonetheless.

“Some of the things that stand out are that Australia and about seven other countries did population scale diagnostics early on and had quarantine policies … that meant you kept the level of infection low in that first year when there were no vaccines,” Gates enthused. Notice he did not say post-vaccine when it turned out that the vaccinated make up the majority of COVID-19 deaths in multiple countries.

But the Australian government wasn’t the only entity whose failed measures were admired by Gates, according to Epoch Times. World governments imposed lockdowns at the recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO). Suicides skyrocketed under lockdowns (including in Australia), particularly among young people, and a Johns Hopkins meta-analysis of many other studies concluded that the COVID-19 lockdowns had negligible benefits and caused massive harm. Yet Gates urged increased cooperation between world governments and the WHO for future pandemics.

”We need to be doing, every five years, a comprehensive exercise at both country and regional levels of pandemic preparedness, and you need a global group that’s scoring everybody,” Gates announced. “Scoring everybody”? Is Gates referring to the WHO Treaty, which would essentially give all power to impose lockdowns in most countries (including the U.S.) to the WHO? “The idea of large campaigns communicating with the public about infectious disease, they [the WHO] have some of those skill sets, and their work was incredibly beneficial,” Gates asserted.

Gates also hinted at future pandemics during a Jan. 21 meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. “I’ve admired your work and your contribution,” he told Albanese, adding, “We’ve just been through the pandemic, but we need to prepare for future health challenges.”

While Gates seems to see China as the world’s savior, particularly in the medical field, the CCP continues to face critiques for its ongoing efforts to cover up the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in China. Even state propagandist Hu Xijin recently expressed doubt regarding the CCP’s official statistics, Epoch Times noted.

Researcher Peter Zhang wrote for Epoch Times, “A report by UK-based analytics company Airfinity estimated 3.7 million COVID-19 infections and 25,000 COVID-19 deaths in a single day on Jan. 13, bringing the total death toll to 584,000 since Dec. 7, 2022.” He added, “That data, experts fear, is just the tip of the iceberg. Some estimated that the death toll could reach 200 million to 400 million people, given the growing infection rate.” Meanwhile, there are no statistics on the mass arrests and reported killings following widespread anti-regime and anti-COVID-measures protests in China.

The United States reached its debt limit of $31.4 trillion dollars on Thursday, leading the Treasury Department to begin using “extraordinary measures” to ensure the federal government will not default on its obligations. According to conventional wisdom, both Congress and President Biden now need to agree upon raising or suspending the statutory debt limit before June to keep the government solvent. Of course, a third option, slashing federal spending to lower the debt burden, is not on most lawmakers’ agendas.

Treasury Secretary Janet L. Yellen in a letter to Congress said, “beginning on Thursday, January 19, 2023, the outstanding debt of the United States is projected to reach the statutory limit.  Once the limit is reached, Treasury will need to start taking certain extraordinary measures to prevent the United States from defaulting on its obligations.”

Those extraordinary measures the Treasury will implement this month are, “(1) redeeming existing, and suspending new, investments of the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund (CSRDF) and the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund (Postal Fund), and (2) suspending reinvestment of the Government Securities Investment Fund (G Fund) of the Federal Employees Retirement System Thrift Savings Plan.”  

Yellen was forced to implement these measures as Biden and Congress are far from any agreement on the debt ceiling.  “I respectfully urge Congress to act promptly to protect the full faith and credit of the United States.” she wrote in the letter.  

The White House is currently refusing to negotiate with the newly empowered fiscally conservative Republicans on raising the debt ceiling as Biden thinks they will eventually back off their demands, as investors, business groups, and moderate conservatives warn of the impending default and its political consequences. 

Responding to a question on if the nation could avoid default, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing, “It is essential for Congress to recognize that dealing with the debt ceiling is their constitutional responsibility. This is an easy one. This is something that should be happening without conditions. And so, we’re just not going to negotiate about that.” 

The Washington Examiner reported that House Speaker McCarthy (R-Calif.) said: “his plan is to negotiate a balanced budget with the Democrats to start paying down the $31 trillion debt.” Adding, “We are six months away, approximately, and what I would like to do is I would like to sit down with all the leaders and especially the president who had started having discussions. I don’t see why you would continue the past behavior. […] Who wants to put the nation through some type of threat at the last minute with the debt ceiling? Nobody wants to do that.” 

The debt limit is the total amount of money that our government is authorized to borrow to meet its existing legal obligations, including Social Security and Medicare benefits, military salaries, interest on the national debt, tax refunds, and other payments. Congress has voted to increase the debt limit more than a dozen times in the last 25 years. The United States has been in default four times since the nation’s founding. 

What makes matters worse is “the dramatic rise in interest rates over the past few months — the Fed funds rate target is currently between 4.25% and 4.50% — the national debt will be growing at a rate that makes it even harder to ignore,” reported a MoneyWise article. 

According to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s debt clock, the $31.4 trillion gross national debt equals $94,170 of debt for every person in the country. Currently, more than $965 million is spent every day just in interest on the national debt. The Foundation estimates that the amount of interest will triple over the next decade, making it the fastest-growing item in the federal budget. 

Congress needs to reduce spending and our national debt before the June deadline. And the way to do that is to get back to the Constitution, which means ending all federal programs that fall outside the scope of the Constitution’s enumerated powers. The political theater now in play is a dangerous game that potentially will have a lasting negative economic impact on us all. As Reuters reported, “From both an economic and a financial perspective, a failure to raise the debt ceiling would be an unmitigated disaster,” said David Kelly, chief global strategist for JPMorgan Chase & Co funds. 

Kelly continued, “While a failure to increase the debt ceiling is the most immediate fiscal threat to the economy and markets in 2023, the damage could also be done either by continuing to neglect deficits altogether or by inflicting very sharp fiscal tightening on an economy which is now thoroughly hooked on the drugs of monetary and fiscal stimulus.”

For decades, Walmart has positioned itself as a family company. Just look at their ads — not just at Christmas, but all year long — and you’ll see families enjoying products that they bought at Walmart. When Walmart started spreading nationwide in the ’80s, it used a lot of goodwill with families to build its brand.

Of course, a lot of things have changed since the ’80s. Walmart now sells LGBTQ-oriented clothing in the children’s department, but you’d better believe it stopped selling guns — apparently “responsible firearm sales” means zero sales. The fact of the matter is that Walmart is as woke as you’d expect any large corporation to be.

But what Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) found at her local Walmart last weekend might shock you more than anything else. Last Saturday, she was shopping at Walmart in Dalton, Ga., in the northwest corner of the state, and she saw sex toys and other adult items on a display next to the kids’ toothbrushes.

She took to Twitter to express her outrage.

“Selling sex toys openly where children are exposed to them is wrong, inappropriate, immoral, indecent, perverted, shameful, and incredibly harmful to children,” she continued in a thread, asking, “Why is Walmart participating in the grooming and sexualization of children? Is this in all stores or just Dalton?”

“I don’t care how big your corporation, how much money you have, how powerful your lobby is, how big and powerful your political influence is,” she tweeted. “I just don’t care who you are. I will always firmly stand up for what is right and do everything I can to protect kids.”

Green continued in her threat about how her district, which includes Dalton, is largely Christian and conservative and mentioned that the people of her district also seek to keep kids safe from things like sex toys in their local Walmart.

“On behalf of my district, I am demanding @Walmart resolve this issue immediately,” she concluded. “I sincerely hope this is not common product placement in your stores and that the employees responsible will be reprimanded. I do not believe this repulsive grooming represents Walmart.”

OK, maybe it’s not grooming, but putting sex toys next to items that families buy on a regular basis for grooming in the old-school sense of the word is definitely irresponsible.

When some Twitter users accused Greene of photoshopping her evidence of poor merchandise placement, PJ Media’s own Stacey Lennox came to her defense.

After Greene called Walmart out for what she saw on the shelves next to the toothbrushes, the retail giant responded.

“The placement of the product was a mistake and was promptly corrected at the store,” Walmart said in a statement, as the Washington Examiner reported.

Regardless of how you may feel about Greene, it’s nice to see someone taking on a corporate behemoth like Walmart when it does something wrong. And even if it was a “mistake” good on Walmart for fixing it.

It’s just a shame that Walmart sells items like these in the first place.

“The economy created more than 1.1 million jobs in the second quarter, or around 375k jobs per month,” the White House said in a statement on July 22.

The Philadelphia Fed’s new assessment shows that employment numbers in 29 states and the District of Columbia were significantly lower than the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported for the March-through-June period.

The BLS, a division of the Department of Labor, estimated net job growth of 1,047,000 jobs in the second quarter. The Philadelphia Fed now says its data shows that 10,500 net jobs were created in that period.

Another reminder that anything from BLS or anything under the control of administration political appointees cannot be trusted. The Biden administration is actually worse than the Obama administration in this regard. Everything is corruptly politicized and appointees will flat-out tell the most outrageous lies.

Not that this comes as a surprise even to the media. How many times has this happened already?

Remember the old “Whites Only/Colored Only” signs on water fountains and bathrooms in the old Jim Crow South? Thanks to Google, that kind of open, in-your-face racism is back with a vengeance. Google is so concerned that you are not racist that it is doing the most racist thing a major corporation has done at least since the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: it is planning to mark the race of the owners of various businesses so that racists of all varieties can patronize only the stores of their favored group. Have Google’s far-Left ideologues really thought this through? If they really want to eradicate racism, this is just the way not to do it.

Jeremy Kauffman of LBRY.com tweeted Thursday that “Google has launched a new campaign called ‘Buy Black’ that encourages people to shop based on the race of the store owner. Stores in search and map results will be given icons indicating the race of the owner to make this easier.” Kauffman also pointed out that Google has been pushing this initiative hard for the last month: on Nov. 17, it published a video called “Buying All Black” and subtitled “A Google #BlackOwnedFriday Anthem,” featuring Ludacris and Flo Milli.

Great. That’ll eradicate racism, all right. What could be less racist than all the woke shoppers dutifully following Google’s lead and shunning businesses owned by white, Hispanic, Asian, and other people and buying only from black-owned businesses? There’s just one minuscule problem with this scenario: at least for now, white people are still allowed to use Google. White racists and white supremacists, you know, those people whom the Biden administration keeps telling us are the biggest terror threat that the nation faces today, can also use Google, at least until they’re finally all rounded up and sent to re-education camps. Until this problem is corrected, white racists can use the new Google race markings not to patronize, but to avoid black-owned businesses. For that matter, black racists can use Google’s new race tags to avoid white-owned businesses, but no one is worried about that, as that is exactly what Google wants.

Bull Connor or George Corley Wallace couldn’t have come up with a more ingenious scheme. Why in no time Google will have people choosing which business to patronize based on the race of the owner, and the country will become more divided and race-conscious than it has been since the worst days of Jim Crow. White racists won’t have to worry about black men sitting down at segregated lunch counters: they wouldn’t dream of doing so if the lunch counter in question is white-owned. No one will be sending Rosa Parks to the back of the bus, because she won’t be on the bus at all if the bus company is owned by people from Japan or Korea or Mexico or Italy, or France.

Google is setting us on the path to becoming a more racially striated society since the Supreme Court decided in Plessy v. Ferguson in 1896 that segregation was just fine. The Plessy decision said that the Fourteenth Amendment was “undoubtedly” meant “to enforce the absolute equality of the two races before the law,” but this didn’t mean integration, for “in the nature of things, it could not have been intended to abolish distinctions based upon color or to enforce social, as distinguished from political equality, or a commingling of the two races upon terms unsatisfactory to either.”

That’s what Google means to stamp out: “a commingling of the two races.” It finds the idea of black people patronizing white-owned businesses to be “terms” that are “unsatisfactory,” and therefore is doing all it can to help black racists be racist. In doing so, it is also helping white racists be racist. Google, in short, has become an active corrosive agent, working to dissolve the nation’s unity and pit American against American. Where is the Sherman Anti-Trust Act when you need it?

The automaker, which employs about 1,350 workers at the Belvidere, Illinois, plant that builds the Jeep Cherokee SUV, said the action will result in indefinite layoffs and added it may not resume operations as it considers other options . . .

Just in time for Christmas, auto workers at the Stellantis plant in Belvidere, Ill., are bracing for layoffs. Although the layoffs are not slated until February 28 of next year, employees of the plant will spend the holiday season trying to plan their futures instead of enjoying time with their families.

According to Fox Business, the plant manufactures the Jeep Cherokee and has 1,350 employees. The automaker cited the effects of COVID-19, a lack of microchips, and the high costs associated with making electric vehicles as the reasons for the decision. Stellantis added that the decision would “stabilize production,” bolster efficiency, and “preserve affordability and customer satisfaction in terms of quality.” So to save money to produce EVs, the Illinois plant will be shuttered. The company said it will do everything it can to rehire laid-off workers if possible, and Illinois Governor J.B.  Pritzker’s office has announced plans to retrain displaced workers for other jobs.

The United Auto Workers issued the following statement in response to the announcement:

“We are all deeply angered by Stellantis’ s decision to idle the Belvidere Assembly plant without a plan for future product,” says UAW Vice President and Director of the Stellantis Department Cindy Estrada. “There are many vehicle platforms imported from other countries that could be built in Belvidere with skill and quality by UAW members at Belvidere. The transition to electrification also creates opportunities for new product. Companies like Stellantis receive billions in government incentives to transition to clean energy.  It is an insult to all taxpayers that they are not investing that money back into our communities.”

“We believe Stellantis is grossly misguided in idling this plant which has produced profits for the company since 1965,” adds UAW President Ray Curry. “Not allocating new product to plants like Belvidere is unacceptable. Announcing the closure just a few weeks from the holidays is also a cruel disregard for the contributions of our members from UAW Locals 1268 and 1761.  We will fight back against this announcement.”

Of course, electric vehicles will save our air, the planet, and our very souls. We need to produce them in abundance and posthaste. So what did Stellantis decide to do? Since producing EVs is so costly, the company has decided to move the Belvidere plant to Mexico, according to The Daily Mail.  Naturally. So much for American jobs. So much for American workers.

A search of the Stellantis website yielded no information about the layoffs as of Monday morning.

And so, the Left’s grand vision for electric cars, gleaming futuristic cities and robots, and AI programs that will manage our lives for us exudes the common man. The people who are so passionate about ushering us into a brave, new world, kicking and screaming if necessary, don’t have the time or the empathy to consider the costs. If the right people look good and feel good, and the money changes in the proper hands, all will be well. No matter how many dunning notices and calls you may receive. Yes, the future is bright. If you can afford it.

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “Banks are developing technology to identify potential mass shooters, according to a CEO backing the push to get credit-card companies to more closely track gun purchases,” Daily Business Review claims.  Or rather, Bloomberg News (!), which provided this propaganda piece, does.

“‘Detection scenarios’ are in the works that, if triggered, would prompt banks to file a Suspicious Activity Report to the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network,” the story elaborates, citing Amalgamated Bank Chief Executive Officer Priscilla Sims Brown.

Brown did not identify the psychic technology that will allow Amalgamated to reliably predict future probabilities accurately enough to justify reporting citizens to law enforcement for investigation — that is, to activate authorities to punish based on a belief in magic, just like the witch trials of old.  But we do know from past media statements the types of thresholds she envisions.

“Software would be able to detect, for example, if someone spent $1,000 at a firearm store, and on the same day, received a $1,000 deposit from someone who is not legally allowed to purchase firearms themselves,” she advocated, as quoted in my August Firearms News report.

“The software would know the ‘prohibited person’ status? How?” I asked at the time. “Are banks now going to tap into NICS and perform after-the-fact ‘background checks? How is such data sharing with private parties authorized by law?”

Especially since we’re told, “The merchant code doesn’t go to the SKU [Stock Keeping Unit] level.” So now we see the plan is to create soothsaying algorithms and use those to go running to the authorities.

What could go wrong?

If we’re talking about stopping a mass shooter before he can act, time is of the essence. An immediate and forceful law enforcement deployment hardly seems a far-fetched police response, especially with high-profile embarrassments over inaction like Parkland and Uvalde giving all the incentive needed to not want to be the goats on another incident. What are they going to say if something happens on their watch and the banks are out there lamenting “We TOLD them” to the media?

But what happens when it turns out to be a “false positive”? After all, no less an “authority” than the State of California Department of Justice, with law enforcement visibility and a criminal record database greater and more specific than anything Amalgamated Bank is going to feed into its fortune teller machine just recently denied a sale to a longtime gun owner and concealed carry permit holder, and then a few days later, with his purchase still on hold, allowed his ammo purchase to go through.

And what happens if the police show up at a “detection scenario” subject’s house and, following the prime directive of making it home at the end of their shift above all else, open fire on and kill the poor guy, as happened recently in Austin? If it turns out to be an “Oops, our bad!” situation, will Amalgamated (and any bank using its software as a reporting “trigger”) share in the liability?

You know and I know (and the calculating minds behind this know) that impossible-to-achieve clairvoyance will end up preventing no mass shootings. The only ones who don’t know that are the willfully self-deluded useful idiots eager to lemming up for whatever abrogation of rights they’re being instructed to demand. Anyone disarmed (and without due process!) who is an actual danger will still be a danger if he’s not also separated from the potential victim pool. “Gun control” schemes don’t work and this one certainly won’t. And don’t forget, it’s the antis insisting to have it both ways by also claiming it’s easier to get a gun than it is a book or a vegetable.

For some reason, the IT term “GIGO” (Garbage In, Garbage Out) comes to mind. That and Priscilla Sims Brown sitting at her desk in a trance asking, “Magic 8 Ball: Should I report this purchase to the feds?” and then acting on its response.

The other thing that comes to mind is the dystopian Tom Cruise movie, Minority Report:

“In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad ‘Precrime’. They use three gifted humans (called ‘Pre-Cogs’) with special powers to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand.”

Since it’s unlikely Sims Brown has a trio of mutants isolated in a photon milk bath at corporate HQ, how Amalgamated justifies acting on its “snitchware” (yeah, it’s a real neologism) is unclear unless you compare what they’re doing to a real crime, which depriving citizens of rights without due process has heretofore been considered. They have the means and they’re creating the opportunity. All that’s left is to discern their motive.

As we saw in an August AmmoLand report:

“Amalgamated, majority owned by Workers United, ‘has aggressively carved out a position as the left’s private banker, leveraging deep connections with the Democratic establishment.’ Workers United, in turn, is a Service Employees International Union (SEIU) affiliate, which, per The Washington Free Beacon, ‘rakes in millions from Dem campaigns, liberal orgs.’ And the SEIU, in turn, has organized rallies and marched in solidarity with communists.”

So maybe it’s not really about “commonsense gun safety”?

That should be obvious when you further consider the only people this would affect are the “law-abiding” kind. This, of course, won’t slow a career criminal getting his guns the “traditional way,” that is, illegally, one bit. It will, however, provide the gun-grabbers with another “loophole” to exploit by demanding the end of private sales.

That this is now being embraced by the International Organization for Standardization dovetails “nicely” with dragging the U.S. into the global citizen disarmament campaign. Speaking as someone with no small amount of real-world ISO experience in my past career, nothing at the time suggested facilitating the subversion of unalienable rights was one of the goals.

We didn’t have the hindsight back then to foresee today’s rush to economic fascist woke “capitalist” rope-selling, but now it’s no surprise that it all boils down to enemies foreign and domestic. This further illustrates the remarkable and visionary foresight of the Founders when they passed the Bill of Rights in general and the Second Amendment in particular on to posterity.

A Nest of Ninnies: UK Office of Budget Responsibility Declares More Migrants Help Spur Economic Growth

The nest of ninnies in the U.K. government keeps trying to convince an increasingly skeptical public that the steady stream of migrants – most of them Muslim and many of them illegal – now entering the U.K. – are a positive benefit to the economy, and hence the British, far from trying to limit immigration, should encourage it. This bizarre twist on the truth can be found here: “Cutting immigration means higher taxes,” by James Kirkup, The Spectator, 

Is it true that this largely Muslim immigration is a boon to the U.K.? We know that in the year ending (YE) in June 2022, the net international migration, which is the difference calculated between immigration and emigration within the same period, was estimated at 504,000, an increase of 331,000 compared with the YE June 2021 figure of 173,000. This is a colossal increase. The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) seems to think that is a Good Thing.

‘Only the higher-than-expected numbers of migrants coming to the UK under the post-Brexit migration regime adds materially to prospects for potential output growth over the coming five years relative to the assumptions that we made in March.’

That’s from the Office for Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) assessment accompanying the Autumn Statement. It’s a pretty striking line: the state’s official analyst of the public finances says that the only good thing to happen to the UK economy since March is higher immigration.

Here, I can only say something rather childish: I told you so. No doubt this immigration outlook will make some people unhappy. Justifiably, too. It isn’t what they were promised, at least by the current Home Secretary. Suella Braverman said she wants net migration to fall below 100,000 – though to be fair, she said that as part of the Truss government in October.

James Kirkup belongs to that small group of Conservatives who have convinced themselves that migration has been an economic boon for the U.K. Fortunately, the majority of Conservatives take a much less sanguine view of the migrant invasion.

We need to ask a few questions of these British enthusiasts of migration. Are they aware that more than three-quarters of the migrants now flooding into the U.K. are Muslims? Are they aware that many Muslim migrants in the U.K. are not true asylum seekers, as they claim to be, but rather, economic migrants, determined to take advantage of all the generous benefits that the British government — that is, the British taxpayer – offers? Among those benefits are subsidized or free housing, free medical care available from the National Health Service, free education, and family allowances that increase with each child (Muslim families are much larger than those of the indigenous British, and derive the greatest benefit from this support), and unemployment benefits even without ever having been employed. The amount the National Health spends on Muslims is unusually high, it needs to be pointed out, because of the prevalence of congenital ailments among Muslims. This is the result of inbreeding, with marriages between cousins being encouraged. In a low-trust culture, it makes sense to keep marriages, and hence property, within the extended family.

Muslims who feel the need to supplement those benefits sometimes turn to crimes of property – robbery, and burglary. Muslims exhibit an unusually high rate of criminality; they make up 4% of the U.K. population, but 20% of the prison population. To the costs of all those benefits that Muslim economic migrants take full advantage of, we must add the cost of their high rates of criminality. This criminal activity requires that more government money be spent on police, detectives, prosecutors, court-appointed lawyers, prosecutors, judges, prison guards, and prisons. This all adds up to a very great sum, though, as far as I can tell, no one has actually calculated the precise cost to the British government of the economic benefits that Muslim migrants lay claim to, being content to simply note that annually, it runs into the billions of dollars. The average cost to the British government of incarcerating a single prisoner is $75,000, with rapists, murderers, and terrorists requiring the highest security, which makes them the most expensive to incarcerate. Muslims constitute close to one-quarter of the rapists and murderers in British prisons, and nearly all of those convicted of terrorism in the last twenty years (there is still a handful of aging IRA men in UK prisons).

Adding the cost of all the government benefits Muslim migrants take full advantage of to the cost of arresting, putting on trial, and then incarcerating Muslim criminals, gives us an annual figure of tens of billions of dollars. And this is only the economic cost. There are other great costs to society, not susceptible to measurement. What kind of dollar or pound figure do we assign to the damage done to many thousands of English girls, the victims of Muslim grooming gangs in two dozen English cities, who were seduced, given drinks and drugs, and then passed around to be shared as sexual objects? We cannot put a dollar figure on the despair and human ruin that the Muslim grooming gangs in the U.K. have caused, but that does not mean that despair and ruin aren’t real.

How do we put an economic value on the increased sense of insecurity felt by British women in some neighborhoods where they used to think nothing of going out at night alone? Muslims have been known to prey on Infidel women, whose dress suggests to Muslims that they “are just asking for it”? What about the anxiety felt by Jews who know that if they wear identifiable Jewish dress – kippahs and Star-of-David pendants, not to mention shtreimels and tallit worn by Hasidim going to the shul — they can expect at some point to be attacked by Muslims, not only in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, but also in Paris, Rome, and even New York? And what is the negative value we assign to the appearance of No-Go neighborhoods, where a dominant population of Muslim migrants makes outsiders – the indigenous non-Muslims whose country these migrants have invaded – distinctly unwelcome, and even the police and firemen do not enter without protection?

So let’s go back to that report by the OBR that prompted this piece, the report titled: “The U.K. Office of Budget Responsibility declares that more migrants help spur economic growth.”

Just one question. What are those people at the U.K. Office of Budget Responsibility smoking?

(Natural News) Many countries across the globe are dealing with inflation right now and preppers are getting ready to deal with the looming threat of hyperinflation in the United States.

Hyperinflation has happened before, and it can happen again. Countries like Argentina, Germany, and Zimbabwe have experienced some historical instances of hyperinflation that devastated local economies.

Unfortunately, it looks like the U.S. is headed in that direction now. But you still have time to stock up on survival essentials like canned goods and fuel before prices skyrocket. (h/t to AskAPrepper.com)

Alcohol and tobacco

If you’re preparing for a potential economic collapse, it would be wise to break any addictions or unhealthy habits that you may have to substances like tobacco or alcohol.

And if you don’t use alcohol or tobacco, these items still deserve a place in your stockpile because you can use them for bartering after SHTF, especially if you intend on trading supplies with other people you know have vices.

Ammo

When SHTF, you will need firearms and ammo to protect your property, yourself, and your loved ones. Stock up on ammo now because when hyperinflation hits, the cost of ammo is going to go through the roof.

However, resources like ammo also get used up if you want to practice so you can use your firearms safely and effectively when disaster strikes and you have to defend yourself. If you have the means to do so, reload your ammo and stock up on reloading supplies if you want to save on ammo for your firearms.

Dry goods and canned food

When dealing with a long-term survival scenario, you will need a lot of food and supplies to feed your family.

If you already have a survival stockpile at home, make sure you regularly rotate your supplies to prevent spoilage. Replenish all items you consume so you also have what you need when SHTF.

Hyperinflation will make many of the items in your stockpile rather expensive, so stock up now while prices are still somewhat affordable.

If you have a tight budget, buy one or two cans of extra food every time you buy groceries. This might not seem like much, but all items will add up eventually in your stockpile.

With food prices skyrocketing, there is no sign of prices going down anytime soon. If you still don’t have a stockpile set up in your home now, start today before it’s too late.

Fuel

Even without inflation, fuel prices continue to increase and take a chunk out of your hard-earned money. Amid world crises like pandemics and wars, oil companies will take any excuse to increase the cost of all fuels, with hyperinflation as one of those convenient excuses.

It’s not practical for everyone to store large quantities of fuel but if you have space in your garage, you can benefit from storing several jerry cans of fuel for your car or generator. When storing fuel for your stockpile, make sure you stabilize the fuel before storing it to extend its life span.

Like the food in your stockpile, you also need to rotate your fuel storage by emptying the next jerry can into your car’s gas tank and refilling the jerry can with fresh gas. Try to stock up on fuel on days when you know the price is the lowest. (Related: Things people need to have before hyperinflation hits.)

Gold and silver

If you want to have a significant advantage during hyperinflation, try to stock up on valuable metals like gold and silver.

Because gold, silver, and other precious metals are not linked to fiat currencies, they are immune to the failure of currencies like dollars.

Stock up on some gold coins as a hedge against inflation. Silver is better for smaller day-to-day transactions you would be making after an economic collapse caused by runaway inflation.

To date, silver is hovering around $20 while gold is around $1,750. It would be difficult to buy food with gold when SHTF, but you can use silver since it would be closer in value.

Meat

The cost of meat, like other items at the grocery store, continues to skyrocket due to regular inflation. Imagine how much meat can cost after hyperinflation.

Deal with this by stocking up on meat when prices are low, like during sales or store promotions. You can also take advantage of store coupons to save some money while buying meat in bulk.

Once you get meat at a good price, make your supply last by vacuum-sealing the meat for long-term storage in the freezer. Alternatively, you can use meat to make pemmican or beef jerky to help preserve it for a long time.

If you can hunt, use your skills to hunt for meat and fill your freezer before SHTF.

Medical supplies

If you or other family members take regular medication to treat chronic conditions and if you don’t have good insurance, these costs will add up more as inflation gets out of control.

Before disaster strikes, try to get a three or six-month stockpile of all prescription medications that you need.

If your budget allows, you can also stock up on some over-the-counter (OTC) medication for your family. This can also help if the supply of OTC pain medication becomes scarce after SHTF or if hyperinflation affects prices.

Paper products

During the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, people who didn’t have a survival stockpile struggled to buy supplies since many others often stripped store shelves of the most unexpected items, like toilet paper and paper towels.

Before prices go up, get paper products like toilet paper and paper towels for your survival stockpile.

Seeds

Before SHTF, starting a home garden and growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and medicinal plants is one of the best ways to deal with rising food costs. However, this can be rather challenging if you don’t have high-quality heirloom seeds for your garden.

If you don’t have a garden yet, start preparing now and buy seeds ahead of possible hyperinflation that may affect your area after a full-scale economic collapse. Seeds are also a great barter item.

While you can’t avoid hyperinflation, you can prep ahead so you have supplies in your stockpile. Set some money aside and start buying supplies like ammo, fuel, and food now so you can get supplies for your family before prices skyrocket.

(Natural News) In the aftermath of yesterday’s mid-term elections, the only good news is that we have essentially paused some elements of the Democrats’ agenda of total destruction by taking control of the House (as is currently projected but not yet called). This alone will pause the Democrats’ legislative and executive monopoly over America, and it gives the American people a bit of breathing room to try to adjust to the disturbing reality of what’s coming next.

That’s where the bad news kicks in, because what’s coming next for America (under Democrat rule) is going to be a multi-year “Dark Winter” of economic collapse, food inflation, censorship, tyranny, global war and more rigged elections.

Essentially, after last night’s mid-term election fiasco, the doom and gloomers have been proven right, while those claiming the “white hats” would come to rescue everybody are left floating in the wind.

The hopium pushers only made things worse

For two years, some people pushing “hopium” have maintained the illusion that a secret group of do-gooders would rescue America, reinstall Trump and wage mass arrests against the treasonous actors who are tearing down this nation. We were told again and again that the deadlines for this action were being moved forward, to await yet another key milestone date, and that the American people simply had to see how bad things got before the good guys would swoop in and save the day.

The reality, however, is that no real action ever actually happened. It was all just a series of stories and narratives that were, at times, entertaining but never rooted in anything that could be verified.

It turns out there are almost no good guys left in power. The entire wretched system has been infiltrated and is now commanded by evil, satanic Marxists and anti-America haters who are hell bent on destroying this nation as quickly as possible. The only holdouts against this appear to be at the state level, where leaders like Ron DeSantis stand out as law-and-order defenders who are working overtime to protect their states from federal tyranny. Thank goodness America still has states that can assert their own sovereignty.

The hopium has run out, and reality is rudely intruding. There is no super secret A-Team coming to set things right. Thus, we must face the harsh reality of where we find ourselves right now: The Democrats are just getting warmed up in terms of the starvation, currency collapse, homelessness, bioweapons outbreaks and nuclear war that they plan to unleash against us all. We haven’t even begun to see how bad this gets. We have only lived through the warm-up round, in other words, over the last two years. Now the real fireworks begin.

And nobody is coming to save us (other than ourselves and God, at some point). Anyone who has been sitting back and “watching the show” while waiting for victory has been seriously deceived. Perhaps it’s time to reevaluate your beliefs and realize that the doom and gloomers were right all along.

Stop your hopium addiction now and join the fight taking place in the real world, in other words, because hopium has only led America down the path of weakness and inaction. And now we find ourselves barely clinging to the last vestiges of the republic, staring into the abyss of totalitarianism and mass genocide. We are one slip away from annihilation.

From this day forward, Democrats know they never have to answer to the voters ever again

What the mid-term proved is that Democrats know they can cheat and rig any election at any time. They just installed a brain damaged stroke victim in the U.S. Senate, for God’s sake, without batting an eye. They don’t need candidates who can cognitively function, of course, since Fetterman will no doubt be outfitted with a remote earpiece implant and told exactly what to say in real time, just like Buck Foe Jiden. Democrats want human robots to take office because they can be easily controlled (and are incapable of thinking for themselves).

Speaking of control, Democrats also now realize that as long as they have voting machines in play — and mail-in ballots, early voting, etc. — they can rig every outcome.

The shocking upshot to all this is that Democrats now know they never have to answer to the voters ever again.

It doesn’t matter to the Dems that 70+% of yesterday’s voters said they were frustrated or “angry” with government policies. Even if that number were 90%, Democrats would simply crank up the rigging algorithms to compensate. Answering to the voters is now an ancient, outmoded concept to Democrats, and the entire theater of elections only serves the purpose of adding a smear of legitimacy to an otherwise wholly corrupted process of selecting and installing leaders into public office who are despised by the very people they claim to represent.

The United States of America is no longer a representative, constitutional republic. It is an authoritarian, monolithic dictatorship where dissenting views are either completely ignored or outright criminalized. The idea of voters becoming unhappy as food inflation worsens or diesel fuel runs out doesn’t bother the Democrats one bit. They don’t have to answer to voters anyway, so why should they care what voters actually think?

From here forward, Democrats don’t even have to pretend to cater to the interests of the people. They can simply dictate their demands, no matter how insane, and arrest anyone who refuses to comply.

Hunker down and get ready for a long, dark winter of suffering and collapse

The bottom line in all this? Although Dems look likely to lose control of the House of Representatives (hence me calling them “dethroned”), they are preparing to unleash years of economic and social hell across America. These lunatics, remember, genocided their own voters with “vaccine” propaganda that killed or maimed millions of people. They murder babies and celebrate it. They are evil demons, and there’s nothing they won’t do to try to destroy America and humanity as a whole. That’s their goal: Global economic collapse and depopulation.

This is what happens when good people sit back and do nothing while waiting for someone else to come save them. It’s like what Sir Edmund Burke once uttered (paraphrased): All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

We are afflicted by that very thing: Good men (and women) doing nothing while America burns to the ground. People have become so accustomed to suffering, it seems, they no longer recognize a collapse when it’s happening in real time.

Soon, even the Lefties won’t be able to deny how bad things are becoming, but they are psychologically conditioned to always blamed it on someone else rather than their own corrupt, bad faith leaders who are deliberately attempting to exterminate humanity.
