The Christian Employers Alliance (CEA) is suing the Biden administration over two mandates that force religious nonprofit and for-profit employers to fund "gender transition surgeries, procedures, counseling, and treatments."
Alliance Defending Freedom on Tuesday filed a motion asking a federal district court in Bozeman, Montana, to cease enforcement of the measures on behalf of the Christian employers group, an organization that provides support to Christian businesses and nonprofits, National Review reports.
The lawsuit says the enforcement of a similar mandate by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that reinterprets "sex" to include gender identity will make religious health care providers "physically perform, facilitate, or promote gender transition surgeries and procedures that are contrary to their deeply held religious beliefs and expert medical judgment."
Title VII makes it unlawful to discriminate against someone on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity) or religion. The Act also makes it unlawful to retaliate against a person because the person complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit.
The CEA says on its website that its mission is to "unite, equip, and represent Christian-owned businesses to protect religious freedom and provide the opportunity for employees, businesses, and communities to flourish."
"These gender transition mandates greatly exacerbate this problem by threatening religious employers with punishing fines, burdensome litigation costs, the loss of federal funds, and even criminal penalties," Royce said. "Additionally, the mandate creates a unique quagmire of concerns for religious healthcare providers by forcing them to speak positively about gender transition procedures even if they disagree with them."
In May 2021, the Biden administration prohibited discrimination against transgender people in healthcare.
Alliance Defending Freedom senior counsel Matt Bowman said Biden has "far overreached his constitutional authority" by improperly enforcing federal law "to the detriment of people of faith across the country."
"The government cannot force Christian employers to pay for, or physically perform, harmful medical procedures that contradict their religious beliefs," Bowman said in a statement.
The Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, Ga. in 2020, said sex discrimination protections in the workplace include transgender people. Some Christian conservatives are concerned that the decision has impacted religious freedoms and affected faith-based employment.
Archbishop Jose Horacio Gomez, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, said at the time that the Supreme Court had effectively redefined the legal meaning of "sex."

Such is the wife-beating and other domestic violence among Afghans at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin that the military has deployed “gender and protection” advisors.
Military officials receive calls every day, the newspaper reported, about incorrigible Afghan men. Apparently, they have nothing better to do than beat and harass women and molest kids.
Weeks ago, federal prosecutors charged an Afghan man with strangling his wife and another with molesting two boys.
But those, apparently, are just two examples. More will be uncovered.
Not a Safe Place
Thus, the gender advisors, created by a law in 2018.
“Such harassment and sexual abuse would be handled by these gender advisors, the military said, with personnel getting victims to safe places and coordinating with law enforcement,” the newspaper reported.
“Everyday there’s calls for domestic violence, mediation, trying to get victims to a safe place, coordination with law enforcement such as the FBI, the military police, and other agencies, child abuse, nutrition, and marriage,” Feist said.
Problems with abuse also impacts preparing the Afghans for the impending winter, said the military, where household tensions and domestic violence could worsen.
“We’re trying to prepare to help mitigate that by finding more recreational spaces that are warm, and not just for women to go into but men, too,” Feist said.
In September, the State Journal reported that Afghan women stuck at the base are terrified.
“They said they feared a negative reaction from some Afghan men housed at the base, many of them former members of the U.S.-trained Afghan National Army who have caused problems, such as harassing women and skipping people in the food lines,” the newspaper reported:
[One] woman complained of harassment from male refugees about her clothes and body.
“I’m ashamed that I’m complaining about my own Afghan people,” she said, adding that discipline of the men by U.S. personnel is uneven. “They don’t know how to behave with women.… We are afraid of them.”
If Afghan men are on the rampage in Wisconsin, they’re likely on the rampage elsewhere. In late September, a gang of Aghan men attacked a military servicewoman at Fort Bliss.
The Biden Regime has imported more than 50,000 Afghans since it ended the war. Though Biden has distributed them throughout the country, many are housed at military bases such as Fort McCoy. They include Fort Bliss in Texas, Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, and three military bases in Virginia, including the Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia.
The regime expects to settle nearly 100,000 Afghans in the next year. Price tag: $6.4 billion. Top Republicans invited the Afghans to live in their neighborhoods.
Afghans Charged
In September, federal prosecutors charged one of the Afghans, Bahrullah Noori, 20, with sex crimes against two boys. One was 12, the other, 14. The New York Post reported that he “touched the genitalia of one of his victims on three separate occasions,” and that “one of the alleged assaults occurred in a barrack, while the other two took place in a bathroom.”
He faces 30 years in prison.
The other Afghan “refugee” who will “culturally enrich” Americans is Mohammad Haroon Imaad, 32. He assaulted and strangled his wife, prosecutors allege.
“Imaad’s wife alleged that her husband had raped her in addition to abusing her verbally and physically,” the Post reported:
At one point, she claimed, he had threatened to “send her back to Afghanistan where the Taliban could deal with her” and also told her “that nine women have been killed since getting to Fort McCoy and that she would be the tenth.”

(Natural News) Across America, even left-wing Biden voters in blue cities are now joining protests against vaccine mandates and Biden’s heavy-handed tactics that violate medical choice / human rights.
Over just the last few days, we’ve seen protests by teachers in New York City, Boeing employees protesting in Seattle, Southwest Airlines workers protesting in Dallas, California parents protesting vaccines mandates in schools and a law enforcement revolt against coercive vaccine mandates in Chicago.
“‘We will not comply’: protests against vaccine mandates erupt in progressive Seattle,” reports the Post Millennial.
Seattle saw protests on Monday after the city and state terminated fired an unprecedented number of workers who refused to comply with Governor Jay Inslee’s vaccine mandate. The requirement went into effect at midnight on Oct. 18, by which time most people would have had to receive their first shot.
The rally hosted by March For Freedom Washington brought out firefighters, law enforcement officers, nurses, teachers, and bus drivers to Seattle City Hall. The crowd met around noon and people gave their heartbreaking testimonies as to why they chose not to get vaccinated.
On Sunday, the day before the deadline to submit vaccination status, Seattle police officers who would not comply took a strong stance and hung Gadsden flags from patrol vehicles.
“I served as a firefighter for 23 years. I have seen things that you wouldn’t wish on your greatest enemy. I never thought this is how my career would end,” a Seattle firefighter told The Post Millennial. “Last year we were frontline heroes, this year we’re enemies.”
Protests were also organized in Dallas, where Southwest Airlines employees were seen chanting, “Let’s Go Brandon!”
Unlike the engineered “protests” of Black Lives Matter and Antifa in 2020 — all organized and funded by globalists like George Soros — these health freedom protests are organic, genuine and attended by real people who show their faces and aren’t hiding behind masks.
“Protests are popping up all over the United States and things could get really ugly really quickly,” writes Mac Slavo from SHTFplan.com.
On Monday, hundreds of demonstrators held signs aloft that read, “Terminate the mandate,” “Freedom not force” and “No jabs for jobs,” as they convened at Southwest Airlines’ headquarters in Dallas to protest against the mandate. Attendees also chanted “My body, my choice” as they lined the highway outside the airline facility.
When campaigning in 2020, Biden told America he would never push vaccine mandates. His gullible supporters believed him and touted the progressive idea of, “my body my choice.”
But it didn’t take long for Biden to betray his own voter base, declaring, “YOUR body, MY choice!” by pushing coercive, dangerous vaccine mandates.
Trump is only slightly less offensive in all this, by the way, because he relentlessly pushes covid vaccines and is still trying to claim credit for bringing them into existence, but he says he wouldn’t force them on people.
Biden, on the other hand, is aggressively pushing vaccine mandates as a requirement to work. By doing so, he is exposing the real agenda of the radical Left — complete tyranny and total government control over your body, your life, and your behavior. For many “progressives,” that’s just too much to swallow, and they are pushing back like never before.
In Australia, Premier Daniel Andrews is now threatening the DOUBLE vaxxed with being locked up if they don’t agree to an endless series of “booster” shots (which really aren’t boosters but rather contain full doses of more spike protein bioweapons). This should be a warning to all Americans: If you are foolish enough to comply with the first two vaccine shots, you will be forced to be injected with many more yet to come.
As an increasing number of former Biden supporters are now discovering, you can’t “comply” your way out of tyranny. At some point, you have to take a stand against it and engage in mass civil disobedience to reject the insanity.
This is just the first step of the backlash, by the way. Soon, you’ll hear a nationwide call for mass arrests of Biden and his regime cohorts for carrying out crimes against humanity. The war crimes tribunals won’t be far behind, especially as vaccine deaths accelerate through the 2021-2022 winter (and all the dead bodies can’t be covered up by the complicit media any longer).

A bastion of selfless, freedom-loving patriots, most military members trend toward the Republican Party and conservatives because left-wing Democrats have long supported anti-Americanism throughout our society: Flag-burning and kneeling for the National Anthem, among them, but more recently, open hostility towards the most military-friendly patriot president in a generation, Donald Trump.
After the party stole the 2020 election, the puppetmasters behind Joe Biden’s ‘presidency’ are working overtime to destroy the America-first attitude and camaraderie within the U.S. military, so that all that’s left is a force of propagandized, mind-numbed, leftist-abiding robots like those who exist in the general population. And they are exploiting the COVID-19 pandemic to that end.
USNI News reports on a new order being implemented by the Navy:
All active-duty Navy personnel must be vaccinated by Nov. 28 or face separation, according to a Navy administrative message released Wednesday.
Any active-duty Navy service members who do not get fully vaccinated or do not have an approved or pending exemption will be processed for an honorable separation without involuntary separation, according to NAVADMIN 225/21, released by Vice Chief of Naval Operations Adm. William Lescher and Chief of Naval Personnel Vice Adm. John Nowell.
Service members in the Ready Reserve Navy will need to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 28.
To meet the deadline, Navy members on active duty are required to have their second dose of vaccine, if they are receiving the two-jab Moderna or Pfizer version, by Nov. 14, a recent service news release noted. According to literature on the shots, persons who take them are not fully vaccinated until 14 days after the second jab.
For members in the naval reserve, they have until Dec. 14 to get their second dose.
Any member who refuses will be discharged with a classification not lower than a general discharge under honorable conditions, according to the release.
Enlisted members who refuse the vaccine “cannot be promoted, advance, reenlist or execute orders outside of ones involving separation,” USNI News reported. “Any officer who refuses to be vaccinated will have any promotions delayed.”
As it stands, the Navy has the highest vaccination rate of all the uniformed services, but the other branches are being equally stringent in their COVID requirements, meaning there could be a loss of up to 25-30 percent of the entire force, and with today’s issues in recruiting, it’s not a sure bet those members will be replaced, leaving our national security at risk during a time when China is rising.
“Sailors must be prepared to execute their mission at all times, in places throughout the world, including where vaccination rates are low and disease transmission is high,” according to the Navy news release issued. “Immunizations are of paramount importance to protecting the health of the force and the warfighting readiness of the Fleet.”
All said, the Pentagon isn’t out of the woods yet regarding its vaccine mandate. According to the American Wire, the Defense Department is facing a lawsuit by members of all service branches filed just last week.
In a federal court filing, the Liberty Counsel, a Christian-themed legal group, said the 24 plaintiffs “face a deadline under the Federal COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate to receive a COVID-19 vaccine that violates their sincerely held religious beliefs, and have been refused any religious exemption or accommodation.”
“Plaintiffs have demonstrated their commitments to the United States Constitution and the Nation’s future comfort, security, and prosperity,” says the legal filing. “This Court should demand that the Nation return the favor.
“Telling Plaintiffs they must accept or receive a shot they oppose according to their sincerely held religious beliefs, or face court-martial, dishonorable discharge, and other life-altering disciplinary measures, disgraces the sacrifices these heroes have made,” the filing says, adding that relief is “needed now” in order to “prevent the immediate and irreparable injury” imposed by the vaccine mandates.”
The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and seeks a permanent injunction from enforcing the mandate.
