In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic was unleashed on the world from China. The evidence is now growing that the bioweapons laboratory in Wuhan, China was the original source of the virus. If this theory is true, the virus was either accidentally or intentionally released on an unsuspecting world.

Of course, the government of communist China is not cooperating with an investigation into the origins of COVID-19, so the world may never know the truth. The mere fact that China is blocking this investigation should lead everyone to question what China is trying to hide.

The pandemic has killed over 700,000 people in the United States and over 4.7 million people worldwide. The economic costs in this country have been staggering. Millions of jobs that were lost may never return.

In China, it is a much different situation. According to the World Health Organization, less than 6,000 people have died from the virus in China. Their economy has prospered as their products have continually been shipped to “big box” retailers like Walmart.

In the United States, these large retailers, which are heavily dependent on Chinese goods, never closed. In contrast, American small businesses were closed during the pandemic lockdown. Sadly, many of these small businesses, the backbone of the American economy, will never reopen.

China benefited in another important way from the pandemic. Until early 2020, President Donald Trump was a thorn in China’s side. Throughout his campaign and presidency, Trump warned of the Chinese threat to the American economy. He spent his entire administration working to bring home American factories from China. He also significantly raised tariffs on Chinese goods. His goal was to improve our economy by increasing the number of American jobs and boosting American manufacturing.

The Chinese hated the losses being inflicted by the Trump administration. However, this all changed once the pandemic started to dominate media headlines in the United States. The pandemic led to a new voting model in the 2020 election. There was a massive expansion of mail-in voting, which was pushed throughout the country because of the fear of COVID-19 and supposed dangers of in-person voting. In a Pew Research study, it was determined that an astounding 46% of all votes cast in the 2020 election were mail-in or absentee ballots.

Of these votes, the vast majority supported Joe Biden for President. In just the state of Pennsylvania, it was determined that 75% of the mail-in votes were cast for Biden. With this type of election model, it is no surprise that Biden won the presidency. While the outcome has been hotly disputed by Trump and millions of his supporters, nothing has been overturned and Biden has been able to implement key components of his far-left agenda.

China has benefited tremendously by Trump leaving the presidency. Under Biden, China has a “friend” in the White House. Not only is Biden considering easing the Trump tariffs, but he is also not too concerned about human rights abuses in China.

In his recent speech to the United Nations. Biden did not mention China at all. He could have denounced how China brutally eliminated the freedom movement in Hong Kong and imprisoned the courageous leaders challenging the communist government.  He could have advocated for the people of Tibet, who have faced severe repression by the communist Chinese for decades. In addition, he could have condemned what many consider to be genocide practiced by the Chinese against the Muslim Uighur community.

Many Biden critics claim that the reason Biden refused to condemn China was that his son, Hunter Biden, has longstanding and lucrative financial deals with business entities in the communist mainland.

Whatever the reason, Biden’s silence may only encourage more Chinese aggression toward their favorite target, Taiwan, otherwise known as “Free China.” After the humiliating withdrawal of American military forces from Afghanistan and the continued presence of American hostages in that country, the Chinese have become more emboldened and have escalated their threatening behavior against Taiwan.

China has conducted “assault drills” near Taiwan and on Thursday sent two dozen military aircraft to penetrate the island’s air defense zone. This is just the latest example of Chinese aircraft entering Taiwanese airspace, which has been happening quite frequently over the last few weeks.

The Chinese goal is likely to either invade Taiwan or encourage the capitulation of the country without firing a shot. What has been the response of the United States to these multiple Chinese provocations? Absolutely nothing, even though we have a “security partnership” with Taiwan.

With the Biden administration intent on purging Trump supporters from the military and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, supporting the teaching of “Critical Race Theory” at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, the United States does not seem to be ready to challenge China, which is the largest military in the world. China has 2.8 million people serving in their military forces, approximately twice the number of American service members.

Despite our economic ties, the Chinese are a formidable enemy. What will we do if they invade Taiwan? Many analysts believe that the Chinese will act quickly while our country is still reeling from the debacle in Afghanistan.

Sadly, our leadership team at the White House is uninspiring to say the least. While Biden has refused to confront China, Milley has made questionable contacts with them. In the new book, Peril, Milley is reported to have contacted his Chinese military counterpart to assure them that Trump was not planning military action against them. He also promised to give them advance notice if any military attack was imminent.

As China eyes Taiwan and threatens this democracy, the brutal communist dictators of the country must be reassured that the United States is in a weakened state and has horrible leadership.

If ever China was to make a move, now might be the time. We must not be unprepared like we were in Afghanistan. The implications for national security are too enormous.

Texas Governor Issues Executive Order Prohibiting Vaccine Mandates

Texas Governor Issues Executive Order Prohibiting Vaccine Mandates

Through an executive order issued on Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott prohibited “any entity” — including privately owned businesses and other non-governmental entities — from requiring their customers and workers to show proof that they have been vaccinated.

On the surface, it sounded good. Abbott said his order was “aimed at protecting the health and safety of Texans, ensuring uniformity across Texas, and achieving the least restrictive means of combatting [COVID’s] evolving threat to public health.”

Some perceived his order as a direct confrontation to the Biden administration, which has ordered all businesses across the land employing more than 100 workers to require their employees to be vaccinated.

Article VI of the U.S. Constitution reads:

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States, which shall be made in Pursuance thereof … shall be the supreme Law of the Land.

In other words, any laws that violate the U.S. Constitution are null and void. As Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist, No. 78: “No legislative act, therefore, [which is] contrary to the Constitution, can be valid.”

That means that Biden’s executive order was, and is, unconstitutional, as that precious document doesn’t grant any such power to the federal government. By extension, that means that any state may declare itself free from its edict.

Where Governor Abbott erred was in making his own edict that reached beyond his authority as governor of Texas. He should have listened to and followed the path trod by Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota.

When two state legislators proposed a law similar to the decree announced by Abbott, she asked rhetorically: “If we mandate one thing, are we [not] setting a precedent for what we are telling businesses they have to do in the future?”

She expanded on her position during an interview reported by Reason:

I don’t have the authority as governor to tell them what to do.

Since the start of this pandemic I have remained focused on what my authorities are and what they are not.

Now, South Dakota is in a strong position because I didn’t overstep my authority. I didn’t trample on the rights of our people, and I’m not going to start now.

She warned that when authorities, including governors such as Texas Governor Abbott, overstep their bounds, the result is devastating:

When leaders overstep their authority, that is how we break the country, and if government starts acting unconstitutionally, even if it’s doing something that we like, that’s a dangerous path to walk down.

It is not “conservative” to grow government and to tell businesses what to do and how to treat their employees.

Noem is correct. As Robby Soave wrote in Reason: “It is wrong for the government to tell individuals, private associations, and businesses what to do. If they want to require vaccination, it’s really no concern of the state.”

Texas Governor Abbott would have saved himself some political grief by simply declaring that Texas is exempt from the Biden mandate, leaving Texans alone to make their own determinations about vaccinations. But he sullied his reputation as a “conservative” and left himself open to attacks from two Republican candidates running against him in next year’s primary.

“Don’t mess with Texas.” That slogan originated in a 1985 state-wide campaign against littering but eventually was adopted as a slogan of pride in the state’s independence. It’s one that Abbott should have used instead of issuing his executive order aimed at businesses and citizens over vaccination mandates.

Making the COVID Shot INEVITABLE: by Putting “Vaccines” in Food and Water

It’s clear that, like a medical mafia, the government wants to make the offer of COVID-19 “vaccines” an offer you can’t refuse. We’ve already seen thousands of Americans lose their jobs over “vaccine” mandates, an FDA employee caught on video recommending COVID-19 shots be administered involuntarily via blow darts, and Joe Biden et al. trying to turn the unvaccinated into today’s lepers.

Of course, you likely will want to avoid this overt coercion. But not in a way some fear could become reality: self-disseminating vaccines released into nature.

Writing at American Thinker yesterday, Jarrad Winter warns of this as a “really scary story to tell in the dark for the rest of Halloween month,” citing a Nature paper by researchers Scott L. Nuismer and James J. Bull about suppressing zoonoses. “Zoonoses” are pathogens that spread between animals and people.

“The SARS-CoV-2 epidemic is merely the most recent demonstration that our current approach to emerging zoonotic infectious disease is ineffective,” the authors wrote last summer. Yet as a possible solution, we “are now poised to begin developing self-disseminating vaccines targeting a wide range of human pathogens, but important decisions remain about how they can be most effectively designed and used to target pathogens with a high risk of spillover and/or emergence,” they explain.

To be clear, Nuismer and Bull don’t appear to be suggesting that this method should be used to involuntarily inoculate people. Rather, they address the possibility of eliminating the threat of zoonose transmission into human populations by “using vaccines capable of autonomously spreading through wild animal reservoirs.”

(Of course, this does nothing to safeguard against lab-crafted viruses. And when the researchers penned their paper, they obviously were unaware that the coronavirus was “man-modified” and thus not a zoonose.)

This said, the idea of self-disseminating vaccines released into the wild is scary enough. The lesson of late author Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park is that we must be exceedingly careful about supposing we can play God and control nature; while there’s much we can do (and have done) as God’s children to manage His creation, we should proceed with humility. “Pride goeth before a fall,” and ego can blind us to danger.

Moreover, a T-Rex may be scarier on film, but the worst things can come in the smallest packages. A seven-ton creature is a huge target that can’t hide well, and man has wiped out many far smaller species. But driving a microscopic organism to extinction is infinitely more difficult.

(Of course, it could be targeted with another microscopic organism, which, if proving problematic, could be targeted with yet another, and — well, you get the point.)

But Winter fears a species that never becomes extinct: the power-mad demagogue. He warns that such people would gleefully use self-disseminating vaccine technology to ensure everyone gets a vax attack.

“If this insanity becomes reality, the overlords won’t have to mandate a damn thing,” is how Winter puts it. “They will simply release some biological monstrosity that reprograms your body however they see fit.”

He’s not paranoid, either, as even scarier “solutions” for genetic-therapy-agent- (GTA, a.k.a. “vaccine”) hesitancy have been proposed. Just consider how Parker Crutchfield, associate professor of medical ethics, humanities, and law at Western Michigan University, suggested last August that the water supply be infused with mind-controlling substances to make people more compliant with China virus regulations.

“I believe society may be better off, both in the short term as well as the long, by boosting not the body’s ability to fight off disease but the brain’s ability to cooperate with others,” the academic wrote at The Conversation. “What if researchers developed and delivered a moral enhancer rather than an immunity enhancer?”

Using the term “Morality pills” in his title, Crutchfield also writes that another “challenge is that the defectors who need moral enhancement are also the least likely to sign up for it. As some have argued, a solution would be to make moral enhancement compulsory or administer it secretly, perhaps via the water supply.”

(Isn’t it rich when moral relativists preach about moral rectitude?)

Returning to the matter of food- or water-borne GTAs, the University of California at Riverside (UCR) is also on the case. “The future of vaccines may look more like eating a salad than getting a shot in the arm,” UCR wrote in a press release just last month. “UC Riverside scientists are studying whether they can turn edible plants like lettuce into mRNA vaccine factories.”

“We are testing this approach with spinach and lettuce and have long-term goals of people growing it in their own gardens,” one of the researchers said. “Farmers could also eventually grow entire fields of it.”

It gives new meaning to, “Eat your vegetables, kids! They’re good for you!” Huh?

So while “a jab might be avoided, how can we evade vaccine nanoparticles in our vegetables?” asks Minding the Campus rhetorically. “And how can one regulate doses outside the supervision of a medical professional?”

“In effect, people might get a COVID ‘vaccination’ not by a needle prick but by food consumption,” the site continues. “Medical consent might be a thing of the past.”

Research into “edible vaccines” (using soybeans as the vehicle of transmission) was also conducted at Iowa State University in 2011. A paper the next year discussed the vaccination of chickens “using brans, ground grains and water as vehicles” (and water transmission is already a prescribed method).

Of course, there’s no difference to our pseudo-elites between forced vaccination of animals and of people because they, typically being de facto atheists, believe we’re just “highly evolved” animals, anyway. And if we continue acting as chickens and allow ourselves to be governed by our fears, treated as chickens we will be.

Rampant theft, ongoing supply chain disruptions leaving drug store shelves in New York City barren

(Natural News) We were certain that, at some point, the failure of left-wing mayors and prosecutors to go after rampant criminal activity such as shoplifting was going to turn into a major problem for the urban centers these lunatics ‘govern.’

That day has finally arrived.

For years, but especially over the past 12 months, George Soros-funded prosecutors and Marxist mayors like Bill de Blasio in New York City and London Breed in San Francisco have refused to crack down on petty crimes that escalate into major ones. In the name of ‘respecting the Black Lives Matter movement,’ these leftists have excused all manner of bad, and illegal, behavior, but especially shoplifting. Video clips of shoplifting “gangs” posted online show numerous individuals emptying store shelves of cosmetics, drugs, and other supplies into garbage bags before sprinting out of the stores unmolested. And they continue to rob retailers blind because again, the leftists who run these cities aren’t concerned about prosecuting those crimes because quite often they appear to involve ‘persons of color,’ so naturally, prosecuting them would be “racist” (even in California, apparently, where whites are no longer the majority).

But now the problem of outright theft is being compounded by an actual supply chain issue, as a shortage of workers on docks, driving trucks and on seafaring cargo vessels is preventing ships from being unloaded and goods being delivered to market, including, of course, over-the-counter drugs and other supplies, according to The Daily Mail:

Shelves in pharmacies across New York City have been left nearly barren because supplies are not getting through amid an ongoing global squeeze.

Stores such as CVS, Walgreens, and Duane Reade are all running very low on goods.

Supplies are being held up on cargo ships that are taking up to four weeks to dock at US ports.

A lack of manpower to unload them and to drive goods around the US is causing a giant backlog.

“Experts have warned the government to intervene or face spiraling inflation and unemployment, as rocketing demand for goods in short supply pushes their prices up,” the outlet continued. “US consumers have already seen prices of everyday items rise in recent months, with economists warning of an extended period of inflation that will push up the cost of living.”

One Manhattan resident told the New York Post: “It looks like the Third World.”

Adds a CVS employee, “They’ve all been stolen.”

So-called ‘bail reform’ laws, which is to say left-wing prosecutors and city officials getting together to get rid of bail, have made shoplifting an excellent career choice. The Post reported on one 22-year-old who had been arrested in New York City on shoplifting charges 46 times and of course, was left on the street to continue stealing.

“The blame goes straight to the halls of power in Albany, said New York City top cop Dermot Shea,” The Post reported, adding that Shea tweeted a response to the lunacy in recent days: “Insanity.”

Because when there are no limits to human behavior, when there are no consequences for actions, then human nature is such that we are apt to continue such behaviors, which will only lead to a complete breakdown in society — like the Marxists are striving for. You can’t rebuild a free society in your authoritarian image unless you destroy the free society first, and that’s exactly what these maniacs who run blue cities and states are attempting to do.

And it’s working.

“Serial shoplifters, even if arrested, typically walk free the same day. Cases against them are often not prosecuted. Drug stores, filled with aisles of small necessities, offer an easy-to-harvest goldmine for thieves,” The Post noted.

This is only going to get worse. And without a functional supply chain, the cities will collapse.

Biden’s so-called employer vaccine mandate is a myth, political theater to fool the masses and force companies to bend to his will

(Natural News) Last month, Joe Biden took to the podium at the White House and did something no president has ever done: He ordered private businesses over a certain size to require their employees to make a health decision they may disagree with — get a COVID-19 vaccine.

“As your President, I’m announcing tonight a new plan to require more Americans to be vaccinated, to combat those blocking public health,” he said during a Sept. 9 speech.

“I’m announcing that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees, that together employ over 80 million workers, to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week,” he continued, adding:

The bottom line: We’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers. We’re going to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by increasing the share of the workforce that is vaccinated in businesses all across America.

My plan will extend the vaccination requirements that I previously issued in the healthcare field. Already, I’ve announced, we’ll be requiring vaccinations that all nursing home workers who treat patients on Medicare and Medicaid because I have that federal authority.

‘Because I have that federal authority.’

Several constitutional experts doubted that and said so at the time.

“Two dozen Republican state attorneys general have signed onto a letter challenging Biden’s mandate, which amounts to forced medical rape. Those states include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming,” Vaccines.news reported.

“Your plan is disastrous and counterproductive,” the letter said. “From a policy perspective, this edict is unlikely to win hearts and minds – it will simply drive further skepticism.”

“And at least some Americans will simply leave the job market instead of complying,” the letter goes on. “This will further strain an already-too-tight labor market, burdening companies and (therefore) threatening the jobs of even those who have received a vaccine.”

But wait a minute.

Here we are more than a month removed from Biden’s speech and the reaction to it, and there doesn’t appear to actually be a ‘vaccine mandate rule’ in the works, according to The Federalist — which means Biden’s handlers duped the country into believing one was coming so companies fearful of litigation and fines would adopt the mandate on their own.

“It’s all a mirage. Biden’s so-called vaccine mandate doesn’t exist — at least, not yet. So far, all we have is his press conference and other such made-for-media huff-puffing. No such rule even claiming to be legally binding has been issued yet,” The Federalist’s Joy Pullman wrote last week, nearly a month to the day after Biden’s proclamation.

She went on to say that she has confirmed no court cases have been filed yet opposing the mandate, which may have been “part of the plan” all along.

“There is nothing there yet that gives employers any mandate,” Stephanie McFarland, a spokeswoman for the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, told Pullman last week. “The president made an announcement on this asking OSHA to do it, but we’ve not yet seen anything come from it yet.”

Turns out that stating an order was coming without having actually issued an order has had the same effect: Companies are complying, as they wanted to do anyway, and they are using the fake order as cover.

“Everybody loves this cover,” Minneapolis employment lawyer Kate Bischoff told Bloomberg Law last month. “Many were already looking down the road at doing this, but the fact that they get to blame Biden is like manna from heaven.”

In all, Pullman summarizes this constitutional coup:

What Democrats are doing as Republicans stand down yet again is a moral and constitutional abomination. Not even the fig-leaf pose of a pen signing balderdash-filled documents is needed for today’s Democrats. Whatever they say, you do.

We don’t really have anything close to a functional government anymore.
