"Books Unite Us and Censorship Divides Us" - a not-so-subtle attack on parents protecting children.
It’s “Banned Books Week” in public libraries across America. And it’s hard to miss the big displays and self-righteous (but very sophisticated) messaging when you walk in the door. You’re made to feel like your library is a freedom fighter that’s protecting you from the narrow-minded zealots who want to keep folks from reading Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, or Orwell’s 1984. You’re made to feel good about fighting such censorship!
But the Banned Books Week message is very dishonest and misleading. We’ve followed the book challenges in libraries for decades. Nobody really cares what books adults read. The red-hot battle involves parents outraged over the books available to children and teenagers. There are increasing numbers of lurid and explicit pornographic, homosexual and transgender-themed books being placed (and promoted!) in the children’s and teens’ sections of libraries. There are also books pushing hatred of America and dark anti-Christian themes. Normal people understand that vulnerable children need to be protected. But just the opposite is happening in libraries today.
Begun in 1982, Banned Books Week is a well-funded yearly push by the far-left American Library Association (ALA), which just about every library belongs to (and pays hefty dues to). The ALA has long promoted LGBT events in libraries and schools and actively fights to keep LGBT books from being removed by officials.
The ALA also runs an official-sounding “Office of Intellectual Freedom” that is dedicated to giving children the “freedom” to read pornography despite their parents’ objections. They also publish lists of the purported “most banned and challenged books” which strangely are peppered with mainstream titles such as those mentioned above. The main purpose of Banned Books Week is clearly to intimidate conservatives.
Banned Books Week in one Wyoming library …
We have recently reported about the parents and citizens in Gillette, Wyoming dealing with the pornographic and LGBT children’s books in their local Campbell County Public Library, and their confrontation with their public officials over it.

Not surprisingly, the library is using Banned Books Week as a vehicle to portray the outraged parents and local citizens as narrow-minded censors, and make it look like the library (and the rest of the public) are the “freedom fighters.” Below is the display in the Gillette Branch.
This is what you see when you walk in the door -an entire wall (and more) devoted to "Banned Books."
The left section of the display (below) includes 1984 – a book for adults that virtually no one would want to keep out of a library – shown along with The Perks of Being a Wallflower (second from bottom) which is a vile, disgusting “teen” sex book; and The Earth My Butt, which is a vulgar, depressing “teen” book. The subliminal message is that they’re all being equally “challenged” by narrow-minded local people.
The middle and right sections are repugnant propaganda snippets (likely from the Library Director and staff) clearly aimed at stirring up the public against the local parents and any others who might get involved. To reiterate, the parents in Gillette and across the country are only trying to protect children. They don’t care what adults read. But the library’s Banned Book Week message is to falsely portray them as vicious, dangerous book-burners who want to censor what everyone reads.
Next to the main display is another display of “banned” books. Note that Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and a few other relatively mainstream books (that no one is seriously trying to censor) are mixed with some borderline kids’ books. Again, the intent is clear: to inflame the public against the so-called “censors.”
Judge for yourself: Is this book or this book - both of which are in this library – on the same level as Fahrenheit 451 or 1984?
And to drive the wedge deeper into the community, the Campbell County library is using the Banned Books Week event to invite teens to read the books that parents want removed!
And naturally, the local (liberal) newspaper has enthusiastically promoted the event.
Where is all this coming from?
People of a certain age can remember when public libraries were both safe for children and places for children and teenagers to find wonderful, uplifting, and edifying books. In most places, those are distant memories.
This horrible assault on children appears to have come from two directions. First, since the “sexual revolution” decades ago, people with their own sexual dysfunctions and emotional issues – and leftists who support them – have been attracted to public libraries where they can push societal change. These are the people who select the children’s books.
And secondly, since the “gay rights” revolution in the '80s and '90s and its obsession with children, there has been a flood of homosexual (and transgender) writers putting out children’s and teen’s books, along with a cottage industry of groups giving them “awards.”

Probably the biggest fraud of Banned Books Week is that it’s the libraries themselves that are the biggest censors. Try to find any books critical of homosexuality or transgenderism, especially books such as The Health Hazards of Homosexuality or books about healing from that addictive behavior.
Finally, there actually are many libraries across the country staffed and run by normal, sensible people. It’s not easy, though. It takes a strong Library Board to make sure that happens. But it’s certainly possible – and it’s what we are helping people across America make happen in their towns!

(Natural News) With illegitimate occupier-in-chief Joe Biden waging outright war and economic terrorism against red states (see examples below), the leaders of those red states must now nullify federal government overreach in order to prevent their own citizens from being mass murdered by D.C. swamp policies that are intentionally designed to achieve depopulation.
Some of the ways the Biden regime is waging war on red states include:
- Economic terrorism: Unleashing OSHA to destroy all businesses that won’t enforce vaccine mandates by levying fines of $70,000 per day or even higher.
- Engineered medicine shortages: Biden recently announced restrictions on shipping monoclonal antibodies to red states in order to maximize covid fatalities in those states.
- Vaccine mandates: Through vaccine mandates, Biden is committing medical genocide against every American, working to achieve a mass die-off that will leave states in a worsening economic crisis (and humanitarian crisis) as the deaths unfold.
- Border invasion: The Biden regime and its corrupt DOJ are actively fighting against sensible border security, openly allowing a land invasion of states like Texas and Arizona in order to flood the nation with replacement Democrat voters.
- Money printing madness: Every dollar printed by the Fed and distributed by the Treasury is actually an instrument of debt that steals purchasing power from the hard-working Americans who produce things. Those producers tend to live in red states, while blue states are the welfare states where more people get handouts that were essentially stolen from the producers in the red states.
- Election rigging: Biden and other Democrats like Newsom are now institutionalizing never-ending election rigging in order to make sure the will of the people is never honored in any election. Although their own disastrous policies are wildly unpopular, they can continue to maintain power by cheating in elections, just like they cheated in 2020.
- Outlawing of medicine that works: Notice how the D.C. swamp has attacked ivermectin and made sure no hospital prescribes it to patients? This is also part of the medical genocide agenda, and it’s a war on humanity.
- Punitive taxation: Under the Biden regime (which is actually run by Obama), the IRS will be handed a mandate to raise taxes on productive American workers, punishing them for having jobs, all while handing out more welfare and entitlements to the illegals who are allowed to invade America by the hundreds of thousands each month.
A long train of abuses: These are all acts of war against red states in particular, and against the American people in general. Any state that follows this “death recipe” will go down with the collapse of America, exactly as long planned by Obiden. (Obama has been working toward the total collapse of the USA since he gained power in 2008. He is now the one running Biden.)
Red states must now denounce and ignore the FDA, CDC, OSHA and other federal agencies that have been weaponized against the people
To survive the planned culling of America’s population, red states must take a stand and publicly denounce the FDA, CDC, OSHA and other weaponized federal agencies (ATF?) that are now overtly working against the interests of the American people.
The FDA serves Big Pharma, not public health or safety. The CDC is a criminal cartel deeply engaged in depopulation crimes against humanity. OSHA is now preparing to commit economic terrorism against America’s small businesses with insane daily fines. The ATF is a gun-running organization (remember Operation Fast & Furious) that seeks to destroy the Second Amendment. You can probably think of other examples yourself…
To survive and thrive, red states must declare themselves to be health freedom sanctuary states that recognize the value of ivermectin, natural medicine, herbal medicine, nutritional medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (along with other healing arts). We must purge Big Pharma from its influence peddling and eliminate the pharma stranglehold over public policy before pharma achieves its mass murder agenda.
At the same time, these states must also declare themselves to be First Amendment sanctuary states while blocking YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, Google and other Big Tech tyrants from operating in those states until they agree to abide by First Amendment principles of free speech.
States must prepare their own currencies to get ready for the coming dollar collapse
As part of this nullification effort — Tenth Amendment — states must prepare to roll out their own currencies when the dollar collapses, which now looks to be close at hand. With brain-dead Biden and the Democrats now absurdly claiming that $3.5 trillion in new government spending costs “zero dollars” and adds “zero” to government debt, we have truly reached the blowout phase of the dollar collapse… and the total demise of the dollar isn’t far away. (Soon they will be printing a trillion dollars a week, and then moving toward a trillion a day…)
Any state that isn’t prepared to introduce its own currency when the dollar implodes will find its own citizens and economy literally collapsing into near-instant ruin. Importantly, only a gold-backed currency will be trusted by the citizens in the aftermath of the collapse of the dollar (and the total ruin of every person holding dollar-denominated bank accounts, US stocks, Treasury bills, dollar debt bonds, etc.).
It is now clear that nullification is a matter of survival. We either nullify the treacherous, treasonous federal overreach or we allow Biden to sink us all.

Whether it comes to opening up borders, destroying jobs, hastening inflation, ditching reporters, or caving to America’s enemies, President Joe Biden means business. Rest assured, the president is fully committed to “keep up the great work” and enforce his draconian COVID vaccine mandate for the companies with 100 or more employees.
The $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” reconciliation bill, passed out of the House Budget Committee and already sent to the floor, now contains a section specifically describing the penalties companies would face if they dared to not force their employees to roll up their sleeves and take that “lifesaving” experimental gene therapeutic.
Per Zero Hedge, the measure was inserted into the mega bill by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Saturday, and can be found on page 168.
The provision reads:
EC. 21004. ADJUSTMENT OF CIVIL PENALTIES.
(a) OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT OF 1970.—Section 17 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (29 U.S.C. 666) is amended—
(1) in subsection (a)—
(A) by striking ‘‘$70,000’’ and inserting ‘‘$700,000’’; and
(B) by striking ‘‘$5,000’’ and inserting ‘‘$50,000’’;
(2) in subsection (b), by striking ‘‘$7,000’’ and inserting ‘‘$70,000’’; and
(3) in subsection (d), by striking ‘‘$7,000’’ and inserting ‘‘$70,000.”
As one can see, fines on employers could reach up to $70,000 for “serious violations,” and $700,000 for “willful or repeated violations” of the new requirements.
The Biden administration has already been making advancements in setting up the mechanism for vax-mandate enforcement.
When Biden announced his 100-or-more employee COVID vax mandate, he tasked OSHA with drafting enforcement tools to exert emergency vaccine compliance authority over all companies with 100 or more employees, regardless of their industry.
Currently, OSHA can fine companies for safety violations, i.e. “when a company or employee willingly or unknowingly ignores potential and real safety hazards,” by imposing fines that range from $1,000 to $13,653. If a violation is repeated within three years, companies face stiffer penalties that run up to $136,532.
OSHA stated in its June ETS that violation of vax mandates by healthcare companies would result in $13,653 fine per each unvaxxed staffer, “regardless of the scope of the hazard.”
Certainly, all and any workplaces must be safe. But it’s one thing if a company does not have properly working electrical or ventilation system, has a broken fire prevention and protection system, or some glitching machinery that may cause serious injuries or death to those operating it. But this all, apparently, pales in comparison to the “grave dangers” of a disease that has 99.7-percent-plus survival rate and proven treatments, hence the fines that many would consider astronomical and inadequate.
The Wireless Estimator reports that the while OSHA is still working on the details, judging from the information available so far, the rule would undoubtedly meet pushback from many of the businesses.
For example, many of the occupations are arguably not even near the “grave danger” of getting or transmitting COVID. Tower technicians, or any workers who perform their duties outside and don’t congregate, are very safe at their jobsites since infections are more likely to occur in an office setting.
Then, many of people have already contracted COVID and have therefore developed natural immunity that is likely much stronger and more durable than that of any vaccine. In terms of COVID transmission, it is much safer to be around those who have recovered from COVID than around those who received a shot. Yet, the Biden administration does not bother to exclude those people from the rule.
Another provision that will likely be challenged is OSHA’s definition of “emergency.” What level of COVID transmission, hospitalizations, and deaths would be considered “urgent” to warrant such harsh measures? If COVID poses such a “grave danger” now, why wasn’t it considered dangerous earlier this year, when cases were at their highest? Also, the sweeping mandate that covers all of the nation does not take into consideration the places that see little to no infection, and where “herd immunity” has most likely been achieved.
The outlet further notes, “Once issued, the standard would pre-empt existing state rules, except in states that have OSHA-approved agencies with their specific programs. Those states have an additional 30 days to adopt the standard or provide one that is more effective — which industry observers believe will not occur since they would have to be vigorously defended in lawsuits.”
The new OSHA rules are expected to be published within weeks.
Biden’s Orwellian $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” bill could very well cripple the American economy. The additional provision would make companies that do not comply with the vaccination enforcement go bankrupt in no time, unless they push back now and make their voices heard.
The New American has previously reported that at least 15 governors vowed to fight the administration’s mandates, calling them “unconstitutional” and “blatantly unlawful overreach.”
Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) called on businesses to “openly rebel” against any OSHA vaccine mandate.
U.S. Homeschooling Jumped 300 Percent During COVID

In “Homeschooling in Uncertain Times,” just published by the Pioneer Institute, authors William Donovan and William Heuer celebrate one unmistakable benefit from the COVID-related shutdown: Not only has the number of homeschooled children tripled, but most parents are deciding to keep their children in a homeschool environment even after the virus has dissipated.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the percentage of households with children being homeschooled has doubled in one year, from 5.4 percent during the 2019-20 school year to 11 percent in 2020-21. Among black families, it increased nearly five-fold, from 3.3 percent to 16.1 percent in just one year. In the past two years, homeschooling in the United States has more than tripled.
Said co-author Donovan, “For a lot of people who had been thinking about homeschooling, the pandemic made it a good time to make the change.” The authors added, “Traditional homeschooling was rapidly growing before the pandemic, and is likely to stick.”
The growth in homeschooling in black families was especially notable:
We point out the rise in homeschooling among Black and other minority families. While they too were influenced by health concerns, often they chose to homeschool because they believe their homes are a safer environment than the halls and grounds of public schools, especially in urban areas.
This no doubt is upsetting to liberal academics such as Harvard Law professor Elizabeth Bartholet. She claims that homeschooling is “a threat to children and society.” She co-authored “Parents’ Religion and Children’s Welfare: Debunking the Doctrine of Parents’ Rights” with James Dwyer. Dwyer, a law professor at the College of William and Mary, claimed that the fundamental civic relationship is not that between parents and their children but instead is between the individual and the state.
Bartholet is infamous for authoring “Homeschooling: Parent Rights Vs. Child Rights to Education & Protection” that appeared in the Arizona Law Review in 2020. She claims that
The rapidly growing homeschooling phenomenon [poses a] threat to children and society….
Many homeschool precisely because they want to isolate their children from ideas and values central to public education and our democracy.
Many promote racial segregation and female subservience.
Many question science.
Many are determined to keep their children from exposure to views that might enable autonomous choice about their future lives.
She then goes on to demand “a rethinking of child rights … and recommends a presumptive ban on homeschooling, with the burden on parents to demonstrate justification for permission to homeschool.”
Bartholet’s real target is Christians homeschooling their children. From her Arizona Law Review article:
A very large proportion of homeschooling parents are ideologically committed to isolating their children from the majority culture and indoctrinating them in views and values that are in serious conflict with that culture….
Many don’t believe in the scientific method, looking to the Bible instead as their source for understanding the world.
The state owns the children, according to Bartholet:
The legal claim made in defense of the current homeschooling regime is based on a dangerous idea about parent rights — that those with enormous physical and other power over infants and children should be subject to virtually no check on that power.
That parents should have monopoly control over children’s lives, development, and experience.
That parents who are committed to beliefs and values counter to those of the larger society are entitled to bring their children up in isolation, so as to help ensure that they will replicate the parents’ views and lifestyle choices….
The legal claim is also inconsistent with an idea that has been central since the beginning of compulsory education — that the state has a powerful interest in educating children in ways that enable positive participation in the larger society.
In an interview with the Harvard Gazette Bartholet expanded her attack on Christians educating their children at home:
Many homeschooling parents are extreme ideologues, committed to raising their children within their belief systems isolated from any societal influence….
The danger is both to these children and to society. The children may not have the chance to choose for themselves whether to exit these ideological communities; society may not have the chance to teach them values important to the larger community, such as tolerance of other people’s views and values.
Does Bartholet not see the irony in that last statement, about “tolerance of other people’s views and values”? Without realizing it, she makes a compelling case for homeschooling that reaches far beyond concerns over health and safety. Homeschooling may teach children that they are sovereign citizens, that God has given them certain unalienable rights, that the Constitution guarantees those rights, and that governments are instituted among men to protect those rights.
All of this is counter to the “culture” that Bartholet and other statists support and defend. It’s no wonder that those in the freedom fight celebrate the small bit of good news that government’s heavy-handed COVID response is bringing: Homeschooling is on the rise and its increase is likely to continue.

This month we celebrate the 504th anniversary of the historic Reformation and all it accomplished! Our sovereign Lord began setting many captives free from the bondage of religious deception with the truth of His Word. It was the Word of God preached by men of God, empowered by the Spirit of God, that produced children of God, all for the glory of God.
Why Was the Reformation Necessary?
As the Reformers were abiding in God's Word, they realized the Roman Catholic Church was under divine condemnation for preaching a distorted Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). Catholicism was (and still is) distorting God's Gospel of grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. They distorted the Gospel by adding requirements for salvation including sacraments, good works, keeping the law, purgatory and indulgences. This corruption of the Gospel continues to lead Catholics down the wide road to destruction (Mat. 7:13). As God opened the eyes of the Reformers to see the light of the Gospel and the glory of Christ, they began proclaiming it and calling Catholics to repentance.
Rome's corruption of the Gospel included using its heretical priesthood to continue on an altar Christ's finished work of redemption on a cross. This was an outright rejection of the Lord's victory cry on the cross, "It is finished" (John 19:30). The Reformers knew from Scripture that Jesus died once, for all sin, for all time and there are no more offerings for sin (Hebrews 10:12, 14, 18). Since the altar was no longer needed, the Reformers replaced it with a pulpit and the Word of God became the central focus of worship.
The Reformation was also necessary because the Catholic Church had drifted into outright apostasy. It had departed from the faith of the apostles to follow doctrines of demons that included forbidding marriage to its clergy (1 Tim. 4:1-3). Catholicism also embraced the first lie of Satan in the garden when the serpent said to Eve, "You surely will not die" if you break God's command. This demonic doctrine continues with the Catholic teaching of "venial" sins, which declares such sins do not cause death, only temporal punishment in purgatory. Catholics need to know that all sins are mortal and the punishment is death (Rom. 6:23). The Catholic Church's apostasy was officially and dogmatically documented at the Council of Trent, with over 100 anathemas that condemn Christians.
What Did the Reformation Accomplish?
The Reformers reestablished the Word of God as the supreme authority for faith. They used the words Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) to declare the Bible is sufficient and the ultimate authority over popes, traditions, and church councils (2 Tim. 3:15-16). As the inspired Word of God, Scripture must be used to test and correct all other authorities.
The Reformers also reestablished the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Head of His Church, which He purchased with His own blood (Eph. 1:22, Acts 20:28). The Reformers rejected the pope as the head of the church. In fact, Martin Luther declared, “We are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist. I declare that I owe the pope no other obedience than that of Antichrist."
The Reformers also made the Bible available to the people in their own language. They soon discovered they could be pulsaved by reading the Bible unaided by priests and sacraments. The truth was setting them free from religious bondage. This caused the pope to put a stop to this mass exodus by once again putting the Bible on their list of forbidden books.
Another accomplishment was the recovery of the most important doctrine of justification, which answers the most important question, "How can a sinner become right with God?" You can hear how many ways the Catholic Church had distorted the biblical teaching of justification here at the eighteen minute mark.
How Can We Remember the Reformation?
As we remember the Reformation this year, let us also remember the 1.3 billion Catholics who are perishing with a misplaced faith. We need to encourage them to do what the apostle Paul did for his salvation (Phil 3:3-9). They need to exchange their apostate religion for a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Barbara Loe Fisher, co-founder and president, National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), and Dawn Richardson, NVIC’s director of advocacy, have a conversation about NVIC’s 2021 State Legislation Report that reveals no state legislature mandated the COVID-19 vaccine in the 2021 legislative session.
