Biden Boasts of Providing the Palestinians with Half a Billion Dollars

Joe Biden is proud of himself for having provided the Palestinians with $500 million in aid. He apparently regards this as a major geopolitical achievement, not as a moral and geopolitical disaster. He says it has “rebuilt ties” with the Palestinian Authority. A report on his hallucinatory miscomprehension is here: “Biden: ‘We’ve rebuilt ties with Palestinians, restored some $500 million in aid to PA,’” JNS, July 10, 2022:

The Biden administration has “rebuilt ties” with the Palestinian Authority and restored some $500 million in aid to it “without permitting terrorists to rearm,” U.S. President Joe Biden wrote in an op-ed published on Saturday night in The Washington Post.

The PA is happy to pocket whatever aid it can inveigle the Biden Administration into giving it. But it has not shown any gratitude in return. It just denounced the Americans for daring to suggest that, even if Israel may have been responsible for the death of Shireen Abu Akleh, her killing was not “intentional” – a conclusion which the Palestinians say constitutes a “betrayal.”

The PA continues with its “Pay-For-Slay” program, which provides generous subsidies to imprisoned terrorists and to the families of terrorists who died during their attacks. In so doing, the PA both rewards past, and incentivizes future, terrorism. The Taylor Force Act was meant to pressure the PA so that it would stop that program. It prohibits giving aid to the PA as long as that “Pay-For-Slay” program continues. The Biden Administration, in providing those half-billion dollars to the PA, is violating the Taylor Force Act; it apparently believes or pretends to, that there is an exception for “humanitarian aid” in the Act, but there is none. Nor are those subsidies the only way the PA encourages terrorism. It holds terrorists up as heroes, naming schools, streets, squares, and sports competitions after them, plastering city walls with posters of them, making them the much-to-be-admired subjects of radio and television programs.

The article comes ahead of the American leader’s July 13-16 trip to the Middle East, which will see him travel to Israel and Saudi Arabia, with a stop in Ramallah to meet with Palestinian officials.

“In Israel, we helped end a war in Gaza—which could easily have lasted months—in just 11 days. We’ve worked with Israel, Egypt, Qatar and Jordan to maintain the peace without permitting terrorists to rearm,” Biden wrote in reference to the May 2021 conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Biden is hallucinating about the 2021 Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. It came to an end in 11 days, not because of anything the Americans did, but only because Israel had killed more than 200 Hamas fighters, including 40 officers, intercepted more than 4,000 rockets, destroyed thousands more rockets, missiles, and other weapons hidden in Gaza pulverized control-and-command centers and demolished large parts of the network of tunnels Hamas had built under Gaza.

We also rebuilt U.S. ties with the Palestinians. Working with Congress, my administration restored approximately $500 million in support for Palestinians, while also passing the largest support package for Israel—over $4 billion—in history. And this week, an Israeli prime minister spoke with the president of the Palestinian Authority for the first time in five years,” Biden wrote.

No, America did not “rebuild ties” with the Palestinians. It only let the Palestinians yet again help themselves to whatever aid the Americans had put on the table. There has been no discernible decrease in Palestinian anger against the United States.

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Friday discussed with P.A. chief Mahmoud Abbas the “need to ensure quiet and calm” ahead of and during Biden’s visit.

In his op-ed, Biden noted that this coming Friday he is set to become the first U.S. president to fly directly from Israel to Saudi Arabia: “That travel will also be a small symbol of the budding relations and steps toward normalization between Israel and the Arab world, which my administration is working to deepen and expand,” he wrote, adding, “In Jiddah, leaders from across the region will gather, pointing to the possibility of a more stable and integrated Middle East, with the United States playing a vital leadership role.”

Having initially shown themselves unenthusiastic about the Abraham Accords, because they were the brainchild of the Trump Administration, the Bidenites have now come round to realizing what an achievement those Accords represent, and are now hoping to encourage the further “integration” of Israel into its Arab neighborhood. This will include trying to persuade the most important Arab country, Saudi Arabia, to join the Abraham Accords.

With respect to Iran, Biden argued that reengaging in nuclear talks along with allies in Europe and around the world had “reverse[d] our isolation,” and that instead “now it is Iran that is isolated until it returns to the nuclear deal.”

Iran is not isolated – witness its continuing friendship with Russia and China, its support from Syria’s Assad, and its control, through its proxy Hezbollah, of Lebanon. None of these countries are going to end their support of Iran “unless it returns to the nuclear deal.” And during the long months when those negotiations with Iran continued, the Iranians continued to race to enrich enough uranium for a bomb. Now even the Israelis have decided they will no longer try to slow down the uranium enrichment program, since Iran already has enough uranium for a bomb, acquired while the Vienna negotiations were going on, and instead Israel will focus on Iran’s ballistic missile program, and Tehran’s ability to mount a nuclear warhead on such a missile.

Biden still claims he has faith in a “return to the 2015 nuclear deal.” But Iran will not give up the uranium it has already enriched – and preventing that enrichment was the whole point of the 2015 deal. Iran has shown its long-term ability both to hide nuclear facilities from the IAEA, and to simply declare others off-limits to the IAEA investigators when they request an inspection. Iran has been consistently limiting, hindering, and lying to inspectors ever since the 2015 deal was first in place. Why should anyone believe that even if the 2015 deal is revived, Iranian behavior will be any different this time? Or do the Bidenites have a special undisclosed way to prevent Iranian cheating? And Biden says nothing about trying to prevent Iran from now building a ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, which the Israelis believe is where their, and our, efforts should now be concentrated.

Israel has just announced that President Biden is to be awarded the Jewish state’s Presidential Medal of Honor.

Palestinian Authority and Fatah giving ‘military training’ to 7-year-olds to fight Israel

This is jihad training for children. This is routine for the Palestinians, who run summer camps to teach children about a world without Israel. Islamic antisemitism is rooted in the Quran.

It is baffling that the Palestinian Authority continues to get away with literal murder, incitement to murder, hate, and propaganda, while Israel is accused of “oppressing” the Palestinians. In the view of the Palestinians (as written in the original charters of their leading organizations), there is nothing that Israel could possibly do to help create peace. The goal of the Palestinians is Israel’s annihilation.

“PA Security Forces give ‘military training’ to 7-year-old kids to fight Israel – ‘the sons of dogs,’” by Itamar Marcus, Nan Jacques Zilberdik, and Maurice Hirsh, Palestinian Media Watch, July 11, 2022:

In cooperation with Abbas’ Fatah Movement, the PA Security Forces offer Palestinian kids from the age of 7 and up military training in camps.

A video posted by Fatah on one of its Facebook pages shows and explains that in the “army camp” the kids “wear soldiers’ uniforms, eat their food, and are trained in military order and discipline.’’ The internet host presenting the report explains that at the concluding ceremony of all the camps “commanders of the Security Forces and a member of Fatah’s Central Committee are present.” He further explains that these camps are for all Palestinian children, regardless of political affiliation, because:

“Our battle with the sons of dogs (i.e., Israelis) is long, and we need a young generation.”

[Facebook page of the Fatah Commission of Information and Culture, June 21, 2022]

In the video, children are seen disassembling and assembling weapons. A song in the background stresses the significance of this training, revealing the ideology and atmosphere of the camps:

Lyrics: “Everyone raised their weapons and put a bullet in the barrel …

We are the national Security [Forces], we are the men of Al-Asifa

Fatah! Fatah! Fatah! We are its men!

We are the men of Al-Asifa, we do not fear death…”

[Facebook page of the Fatah Commission of Information and Culture, June 21, 2022]

Another part of the video further illustrates the values imparted in these PA Security Forces/Fatah camps. Through chants, the young children are taught to admire the terrorist who led the most lethal terror attack against Israel: Dalal Mughrabi. Together with other terrorists she murdered 37 Israelis, including 12 children, in what is known as the 1978 Coastal Road massacre:

Guide and children: “Dalal [Mughrabi] arrived in Palestine (i.e., led murder of 37, incl. 12 children)

She is equal to the entire world

O Dalal, they trained you

and had you carry a Kalashnikov [assault rifle]

They led you to the shore

to a self-sacrificing operation (i.e., terror attack)

Dalal trained girls

in preparing explosives

and hand grenades.”

Because the city’s ‘Emergency Management’ team published a video earlier this week — called ‘Nuclear Preparedness PSA’ — which explained necessary steps for residents to survive a nuclear bomb. Glenn and Stu discuss the latest security threats facing America, why our current leadership likely would be entirely incompetent in responding to them, and why Glenn believes world elite actually do not want to avoid another world war…

(Natural News) South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem blasted President Joe Biden anew over his administration’s lack of an effective policy regarding the nation’s food supply.

Noem in particular lashed out at Biden for allowing foreign adversaries to buy up massive amounts of American farmland.

“I have been talking about food security as a national security issue for about 15 years now, being involved in farming and ranching,” she told Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM. “I was very young when I started working on federal policy, because the United States has always embraced a policy where we believed it was important to grow our own food in this country, and I’m a strong believer that when another country controls our food supply, that’s when they truly control us.”

“If we think a pandemic was scary, wait until we realize that we can’t put food on the grocery store shelves because China controls the entire system, and what most of America hasn’t been paying attention to, is that China — for years — has been buying up our chemical companies, our fertilizer companies, our processing systems, and now they’re buying land, and we have foreign countries that are heavily invested in that entire supply system,” she continued.

“We are losing control of the ability to feed our people and that’s what is challenging us today,” the GOP governor noted further. “We finally are waking up to that, but it is going to be a serious situation that this administration needs to recognize they have a huge role in, and all they’ve done is strengthen our enemies and given them more ability to control our food supply which puts us in a very precarious situation as a country.”

Noem said being able to grow up and live in a smaller community rather than a big city gives her, and those like her, a much better perspective on life as well as a stronger sense of community.

“[I benefit from] an incredible perspective that so many people in this country don’t get to have and they don’t realize how much they need it — that interaction and sense of community, and people who wave when they drive by on the road and stop and smile and ask how your day is going — is what keeps us human,” she said.

“It feeds our souls and it helps our mental health as well. I think so many people are constantly challenged with the busyness, the noise, and the lack of personal interaction that happens many times in big cities,” Noem, who has been mentioned as a potential 2024 GOP presidential contender or running mate, elaborated.

“[It] really does affect them long-term, and it would be good for everybody to get out and be in the country, and being in smaller towns where people can relax and just understand that we’re all a part of humanity, and we were all created to love each other,” she said.

As for control of America’s food sources and production, she told Newsmax TV’s Eric Bolling on Friday: ”Our food supply is our national security policy. It just is. For years, I’ve been watching foreign countries, other entities that are not friends of the United States, buy up our fertilizer companies, our chemical companies, our processing systems, and those entities.”

”Now we see other people buying hundreds of thousands of acres of land; and, listen, many times it is foreign entities in some of these states as well. So we have countries like China that own all these different pieces, and they’re not dummies,” she continued.

“They know that when they control our food supply, they control us. So this is a national security policy issue that the American people need to be aware of,” Noem added.

”We’ve always had in the United States of America a priority of keeping a safe and affordable food supply that’s diversified, so one person or one country doesn’t control it. We are losing that. We’re losing that on Joe Biden’s watch, and it is a concern for us, our country, and for those families out there that are looking to feed their kids every week when they go to the grocery store,” the governor said.

Blasting CCP Influence, Lawmakers File Bill to Get US Out of UN & WHO

Blasting CCP Influence, Lawmakers File Bill to Get US Out of UN & WHO

BY ALEX NEWMAN

Outraged by the growing influence of the mass-murdering Chinese Communist Party and other perceived problems, U.S. lawmakers recently re-introduced legislation that would end U.S. membership in the United Nations and its agencies, such as the UN World Health Organization (WHO).

In addition to ending U.S. government involvement with the UN, the American Sovereignty Restoration Act (H.R. 7806) would remove the UN’s controversial headquarters from U.S. soil and protect American troops from having to serve under UN command.

U.S. Representative Mike Rogers, a conservative Republican representing eastern Alabama, has been the lead sponsor of the bill in several congresses so far. He has raised numerous concerns over the years, including corruption, waste, hostility to Israel, opposition to fundamental American principles, the UN’s hatred of the Second Amendment, and more.

“The United Nations has repeatedly proven itself to be an utterly useless organization,” explained Rogers in a statement announcing the re-introduction of the bill last month, doubling down on previous comments referring to the UN as a “disaster.”

Some of the congressman’s major concerns are the UN’s growing hostility to genuine human rights and its increasing subservience to the dictatorship in Beijing and others hostile to individual liberty and the United States.

“The UN’s founding charter states the UN’s mission ‘to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small,’” added Rogers in the statement. “However, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet has proven herself to be nothing more than a puppet for the Chinese Communist Party — aiding the CCP in playing down the very real and horrifying genocide being carried out against Uyghurs.”

Indeed, The New American has been exposing the “Socialist” Bachelet for years. From her close ties to the communist movement in Latin America and Beijing to her ongoing anti-American diatribes calling for restricting rights in America, Bachelet has become extremely controversial. Concerns about the UN official’s abuse of diplomatic immunity to shield her and others from criminal probes are also growing.

Rogers blasted the UN’s cozy relationship with the Chinese Communist Party. “It’s unconscionable that China continues to sit on the UN Human Rights Council even as it carries out this disturbing genocide on top of its numerous and daily violations of basic human rights,” the Republican congressman said.

“It’s clear the UN has abandoned the ideals set in its founding charter and that’s why, among many other reasons, I’ve reintroduced legislation to withdraw the United States from the UN,” he added.

When introducing the bill in 2019, Rogers blasted the UN as an “inefficient bureaucracy” and a “complete waste of American tax dollars.” Saying the legislation was one of his top priorities, Rogers noted that the global organization “works against America’s interests around the world” and continues to “attack our rights as U.S. citizens.”

Another key element of the bill would end U.S. involvement in the disgraced World Health Organization. Among other scandals, the UN agency is led by a former communist terror leader backed by Beijing and was repeatedly exposed parroting the CCP’s talking points.

“The WHO lost all credibility when they chose to put public health second to the Chinese Communist Party by helping the CCP cover up the origins of COVID-19,” continued Rogers, blasting the UN WHO as “corrupt.”

Reacting to similar concerns, President Donald Trump started the process to remove the U.S. from the WHO, drawing widespread applause from conservatives and Republicans across America.

Joe Biden promptly re-engaged with the UN agency after taking power, though numerous congressional efforts to stop funding for and end U.S. involvement in WHO continue. (Trump did get the United States out of UNESCO, the UN’s “education” agency, and so far Biden has not been able to reverse that.)

Co-sponsors of the latest iteration of the American Sovereignty Restoration Act include Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas).

Massie, a longtime champion of the #Amexit movement to get the United States out of the UN, previously told The New American that there are many reasons why the U.S. government should cut all ties with the controversial global organization.

“The best thing that you can say about the United Nations is it’s mostly ineffective and a waste of money,” said Congressman Massie, who campaigned for an “Amexit” from the UN after the British people voted for a “Brexit” from the European Union. “That’s the best thing you can say about it. So I’m glad that they are somewhat ineffective, but I don’t like that we waste the money.”

But that is just the start. Another major problem is that the UN is packed with autocratic regimes and is constantly seeking to infringe on the sovereignty of nation-states.  “It’s full of dictators, and it’s also something that I don’t think our sovereign government should defer to,” Massie explained in an interview at The John Birch Society’s 60th-anniversary celebration.

“For instance, a lot of these foreign relations bills that come in front of us in Congress and the whereas clauses — they might say ‘whereas the UN has said this,’ or ‘the UN decided this, now, therefore, be it resolved’ — well that’s almost an automatic no for me, because why would I defer to the United Nations if we’re a sovereign country?” asked Massie.

The Kentucky congressman, who has a near-perfect score on The New American magazine’s Freedom Index, also warned that the U.S. government supplies far more than the American people’s “fair share” for the UN’s budget. “But a fair share would be zero, and we should get out,” he added.

With an added boost from the United Kingdom’s successful bid to secede from the European Union, Massie launched the “Amexit” campaign in 2016, saying there was a fresh interest in the move. Trump’s efforts to end U.S. involvement in various UN agencies and programs also proved to be popular with Americans.

The Deep State, though, wants to keep Americans entangled in international organizations. “They would like to see us fully involved in the United Nations and intervening in every country possible,” Massie said, adding that global agencies increasingly dictate policy to American elected officials and that many congressmen are more than willing to bow down.

In a more recent interview with The New American magazine in which he called for passing the American Sovereignty Restoration Act, Massie took special aim at the World Trade Organization, saying it has long been “hostile” to the United States. Indeed, it was the WTO that purported to “force” Congress into repealing its country-of-origin labeling for meat.

Blasting the UN as “a collection of dictators,” Massie also pointed to the WHO’s attacks on science and language — and how the CDC followed suit in seeking to redefine terms such as “vaccine” and “herd immunity.” “It is Orwellian in the sense that they’re trying to control thought by controlling the language that we use,” he added.

As the UN becomes increasingly aggressive in its efforts to undermine the sovereignty and redefine the concept of rights — not to mention empower Communist China and itself — public sentiment in America is souring. Top conservatives ranging from U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (R) have expressly called for the United States to exit the UN, too.

The effort to liberate the United States from the UN — an agenda long championed by The John Birch Society, which publishes this magazine — has been gaining steam for decades. Congressional votes on defunding the UN and the Trump administration’s strident attacks on the UN have shown that the movement is no longer a fringe issue, as it was in the 1960s and 1970s.

One leading advocate for the American Sovereignty Restoration Act was former Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas). Paul, who ran for president and made history by attracting millions of young people and breaking fundraising records, introduced the bill regularly in the 1990s and 2000s. He called on Congress to at least vote on the bill, so Americans could know where their representatives stood on the issue.

Another lead champion of the measure was U.S. Congressman Larry McDonald (D-Ga.), a hardcore conservative who also served as the chairman of The John Birch Society. Unfortunately, in the mid-1980s a Soviet fighter jet shot down the commercial airliner he was a passenger on.

Even establishment-minded figures have joined the chorus. Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said Americans must decide whether or not the U.S. government should remain involved.  “The American people need to decide if it’s worth it,” she said of continued U.S. membership, adding that “the verdict is still out.”

As is typical, the bill has been referred to the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where internationalists in leadership will do their best to ignore it and keep it bottled up. However, with a public groundswell in favor of getting the U.S. out, lawmakers will have to bend to the will of their constituents.
