Melanie Joseph wants to see her son, but a judge won’t let her — for no reason except that she won’t wear a mask.

Joseph’s 14-year-old son has asthma, a condition that could put him at risk of contracting COVID-19 during this pandemic, court filings show.

Broward Circuit Judge Dale Cohen called the mother an “anti-mask person” who had the “audacity” to brag about it on Facebook.

Conservatives take issue with the decision, but it illustrates how judges in family court now must consider the health risks of COVID-19 on top of juggling the interests of feuding ex-spouses, single parents and reluctant child-support payers.

COVID first made family law news in South Florida early in the pandemic, when an emergency room doctor treating coronavirus patients was stripped of custody of her 4-year-old daughter.

An appeals court quickly overturned the decision, and the child’s estranged parents eventually resolved their custody disagreement.

The doctor’s attorney, Steven Nullman, conceded that judges face a challenge when balancing parental rights and health concerns.

“There are so many unknowns with this disease,” he said. “Making the right decision is not easy.”

Other cases followed across the country, most involving at least one parent working on the front lines of the crisis. An Orlando woman didn’t want her ex-husband, a firefighter newly engaged to an emergency room nurse, to share custody of their son. The judge sided with the father. And in a Deerfield Beach case in April, a dermatologist had to fight for visitation with his 6-year-old son.

Broward Chief Administrative Judge Jack Tuter said he expects COVID-19 to come up in family cases for the foreseeable future.

“You might have one parent who’s casual about the risk and the other who’s hyper-careful,” he said. “We’re going to see them coming to judges to resolve their differences.

"I think we’re going to see more cases arise when schools open, depending on what happens next with the virus.”

Judges have been patient in considering both sides of coronavirus cases, said Nicole Alvarez, who practices family law mainly in Broward and Miami-Dade.

“The bar is still pretty high for a judge to change time-sharing schedules,” she said. “From my experience, judges are not going to deviate from agreements for hypothetical reasons.

"You don’t get to say you live in a low-risk area and you don’t want to let the child visit Miami or some other area with more cases. Unless someone comes out positive, judges are sticking with the existing agreements.”

That doesn’t mean they’re not willing to step in when they think the child’s health might be at risk.

Joseph, who moved to North Carolina from Coral Springs at the outset of the pandemic response, drew Judge Cohen’s ire by posting a picture of herself, maskless, in the waiting room of her oral surgeon’s office in June.

“She’s one of those anti-mask people and she’s got the audacity to post that on social media," the judge said. "She’s going to wear a mask. If she doesn’t, time-sharing is not going to happen.”

Cohen’s pointed criticism came in an online hearing Sept. 8 and prompted Joseph’s attorney, Meaghan Marro, to ask him to remove himself from the case, which has dragged on for 13 years (the child at the heart of it is 14). Cohen declined.

The judge said in-person visits would have to be supervised because he doesn’t trust Joseph, 43, to wear a mask. And he would not consider a long-distance parenting plan — which outlines each parent’s rights when they don’t live in the same state — between Joseph and her son until the COVID crisis has passed.

“When this pandemic is over and there are no cases and there’s a vaccine ... the mother is going to need to get a vaccine as well. When I have proof that everybody’s safe and the child’s not at risk or danger, then we can talk about a long-distance parenting plan.”

The judge’s comments raised eyebrows among some right-wing libertarians who blame coronavirus for what they believe is government abuse of authority.

“You see them using opinion grounded in science to justify government overreach,” said Tho Bishop, editor at the Mises Institute, a splinter of the Cato Institute. “They’ve far overstepped the justified power of their office under the premise that we’re in this emergency.”

Ultimately, the issue of masks never made it into Cohen’s written ruling, issued late last week, and he softened the vaccine mandate.

“After a safe and reliable vaccination against COVID-19 is available, the mother may be vaccinated and the child may be vaccinated, thus eliminating that particular danger,” the order states.

Joseph acknowledged in an interview this week that she posted a selfie taken at her oral surgeon’s office in June. “No mask for this girl,” she wrote in the caption. At the time, Joseph said, there was no mask mandate in North Carolina and she was alone in her doctor’s waiting room.

She accused the judge of letting his personal political views cloud his judgment in the case. “My case has been in the court system for a number of years and I have experience with court proceedings,” she said. “What occurred is unconstitutional and should never happen to a parent.”

The child’s father thinks Cohen made the right decision. “My client has a legal obligation to protect his son,” said Donna Goldman, the father’s attorney. “This case has been going on a long time, and the judge weighed more than just COVID. He made the right decision to protect the child’s health.”

Judges are not permitted to discuss their ongoing cases.

German immunologist Doctor Winfried Stöcker developed an antigen-based vaccine against the Coronavirus, which renowned virologists confirm is effective. But instead of Germany starting production of the vaccine, the Doctor is now facing criminal complaints from the state’s medical bureaucracy.

The celebrated Doctor and extremely successful entrepreneur, developed an antigen, a foreign substance that induces an immune response, for the Coronavirus. The current controversial coronavirus “vaccines” are actually mRNA gene therapies and have never been approved for use before 2020. These “vaccines” are only being approved under emergency measures by Federal and Drug Administration (FDA). However, the new antigen-based Covid vaccine developed by the 74-year-old doctor is made with established technology that has been in use safely for over 30 years. This well-tested technology has been used to make effective vaccines against various strains of Hepatitis.

According to Stöcker, the active ingredient is easy to produce and in large quantities. Further advantages are that the active ingredient can be stored in normal refrigerators. In addition, according to the inventor, the vaccine can be easily modified with a view to any future mutations of the Sars-Cov-2 virus.

“You could supply all of Germany with it within a few months” explains Stöcker. “There are enough doctors, so you wouldn’t need to rent those big arenas. People could just go to their family doctor and have it administered. Within two to three months they would be immune to this epidemic. All of them” explains the renowned Doctor.

Doctor Winfried Stöcker founded the pharmaceutical company, Euroimmun, in 1987. His company developed the methods for the detection of autoimmune and infectious diseases. Today it has 3,100 employees and offices in 17 countries. There are also two locations in Upper Lusatia. In 2017, Stöcker sold the company to a US corporation – for a total of 1.2 billion euros. Persecuted By The State

Stöcker developed the antigen-based vaccine in his own laboratory in Groß-Grönau, Germany. He then successfully tested his vaccine on himself, family members, and employees. Stöcker is said to have already vaccinated 100 volunteers, and 97 percent of those vaccinated developed antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Stöcker measured the antibody level in his patients after the vaccination finding that “almost all of them are really positive: With high-titre antibodies that are able to neutralize the virus, that is, to render it harmless.”

At the beginning of September, Stöcker contacted the Paul Ehrlich Institute which is responsible, among other things, for the approval of vaccines and biomedical drugs. The doctor emailed them his successful test vaccination results.  At the same time, he asked that he could carry out his tests with a larger number of volunteers to test for any potential side effects. Instead of the institute embracing the Doctor and his work, the institute and the State Offices of Social Services (LAsD) filed complaints against him.

The effects of his vaccines have been confirmed by several virologists including, Christian Drosten from the Berlin Charité (one of Europe’s most respected hospitals). Dr. Drosten is also one of the advisers to the Federal Government of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Despite Dr. Drosten’s confirmation, the public prosecutor opened criminal proceedings. The Lübeck public prosecutor’s office stated: “He produced a SARS-CoV-2 antigen without the required permission and then administered it to himself and other people without having the necessary permits.

After the German state targeted Stöcker he chose to make the process for manufacturing the new antigen public without filing for a patent and without asking for payment. The doctor has now published the recipe for his antigen vaccine on his website.

Persecuted by the Left

The famous doctor and entrepreneur is an outspoken conservative. In the past, the doctor has publicly criticized German Chancellor Angela Merkel, her open border policies, climate hysteria, MeToo movement, and Islamic supremacists.  Furthermore, he has praised the country’s only conservative party, Alternative für Deutschland (AfD).

While the left-wing government is treating a Doctor who makes a coronavirus antigen vaccine freely and publicly available, like a criminal – so is their media. The media is using their platforms to politicize Winfried Stöcker and his selfless actions. Instead of celebrating a doctor who could help save the lives of so many across the world, they are actively smearing him for having differing political views.

Furthermore, Chancellor Merkel continues to encourage pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer and AstraZeneca to inject Germans with a highly experimental mRNA gene therapy. Simultaneously she is prosecuting a Doctor offering a safer and less expensive antigen vaccine. The question Germans should be asking is whose interests does Merkel’s government represent – the people of Germany or the pharmaceutical industry?

The Best Vaccine Against COVID-19

February 5, 2021

In the past, under my leadership, an extremely efficient research and development department was established at Euroimmun, dealing, among other things, with the diagnostics of infectious diseases. Our scientists were among the first to create reagents for the detection of a number of emerging infectious diseases, often in collaboration with specialists from international infectious disease research institutions, in Germany including the Bernhard Nocht Institute in Hamburg and the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin: Crimean-Congo, West Nile, Japanese Encephalitis, Usutu, Dengue, Chikungunya, Mayaro, MERS-Corona, Zika, SARS 1, Ebola.

Based on our extensive experience in reagent development for the diagnosis of novel viral diseases, we have rapidly and accurately created and recombinantly produced an antigen construct that can reliably produce antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. It is based on the receptor-binding domain within the S1 subunit of the spike protein, which the virus uses to bind to receptors on target cells. It seemed obvious to me that immunisation with this protein would have a protective effect.

There are vaccinations with a large potential danger and others with a very small one. There is a difference between injecting a healthy person with attenuated viruses or viral RNA, and injecting a small inconspicuous recombinant protein that cannot do much in the organism except for specific immune stimulation. For decades, recombinant antigens genetically engineered in culture cells have been used in immunisation against infectious hepatitis A and B. In the past, the immunisation antigen was obtained from blood donations of people formerly suffering from hepatitis, but the recombinant antigens come from the retort, they are easy to produce and carry no risk of infection — a major advance. I myself have immunised thousands of my employees with them. However, you have to take three injections in the first quarter of the year, then measure the antibody level every five to ten years and give a booster vaccination if necessary.

This uncomplicated vaccination scheme, which has been tried and tested for decades, with a trivial antigen that has long been available, would be the order of the day in the case of Covid-19. Completely new approaches are being pursued here, which may be very effective. These approaches introduce viral RNA into the body of the vaccinated person, which is supposed to synthesise the immunisation antigen in the person’s own organism first, but many people are afraid of this because they fear that the viral RNA will take on a life of its own in the body and cause unexpected damage. Lengthy vaccination studies have therefore had to be set up, during which the virus has been able to spread through the population like an avalanche. And the active ingredient is very difficult to produce, requires a continuous deep-freeze chain from production to vaccination, many people are allergic to the polyethylene glycol additive needed for stabilisation, and half of those vaccinated report sick after the second injection. Above all, however, it takes years to manufacture the vaccine until demand is met and everyone is immunised. Scientists can make a name for themselves and the patent holders can make a lot of money, while millions of people die because they cannot be vaccinated in time.

Likewise, coronaviruses produced and inactivated in culture are obsolete for me as vaccine antigens; such a thing has long been obsolete for hepatitis, so what’s the point with Corona? It is also not necessary to infect anyone with vector viruses in order to introduce viral antigens. I apply the ready-made, extracorporeally genetically engineered antigen, which poses virtually no danger. And so far, none of the more than one hundred vaccinated people has become ill, none has been incapacitated.

Some resistance has developed to my approach. People are not able or willing to recognise the potential of the vaccination I propose, but it is virtually risk-free, based on an inactivated vaccine that can be shipped unrefrigerated and kept in a refrigerator, that does not introduce the dreaded genetic information of the virus, that does not contain an attenuated virus or vector, that causes few allergic reactions, has no polyethylene glycol, that any doctor can administer in his office, virtually risk-free, and that would therefore be far more acceptable to the public. It can also be easily produced in large quantities. Excellent for mass vaccination. The first vaccination was anything but heroic, but ordinary. No vector, no RNA, no inactivated coronavirus, just a small peptide.

Take 15 micrograms of recombinant RBD of the S1 subunit (Arg319-Phe541) three times for one person. I used alhydrogel from InvivoGen as the adjuvant: Shake properly and draw up 200 microliters of it with the tuberculin syringe. Draw up 10 milliliters of saline into a larger syringe and add the 200 microliters, mix. Of that, 500 microliters per shot to mix your portion of antigen with. Everything nicely sterile.

A single 2000-liter reactor can produce 45 g of antigen per day, which would be enough for 1 million people. A high-density culture system can produce five times that amount. Within six months, vaccine for 80% of the population of Germany could be produced in a medium-sized laboratory.

I asked the Paul Ehrlich Institute for permission to immediately replicate this trivial immunisation with a larger number of volunteers to see if it works as well as it did for me and my family, and if there are no side effects in them either, including exposed individuals. If the PEI had not objected, we could have already put a manufacturer in a position to supply the whole of Germany and provide effective protection.

Instead of responding to my proposal, the Paul Ehrlich Institute coldly sued me. Perhaps because they felt ignored in their divine function — after all, I had already carried out a trial on five (!) people (which I am entitled to do as a doctor, so I can mix together whatever I think is right for my therapy. Anyone so familiar with the paragraphs, should actually know that). Perhaps this gives an advantage to other applicants, to whom one feels obliged? As I do not act as a vaccine manufacturer, I have no intention to profit in this matter. I have deliberately gone public with my action and have not applied for a patent, so no one else can claim this way for themselves. I only want to show a simple and harmless way to counteract the pandemic quickly and effectively.

Necessity justifies unconventional means — in the case of this pandemic, it is not possible to wait two years until the last doubts about possible side effects have been resolved, as is the case with other vaccines, but action must be taken quickly. In this respect, the Paul Ehrlich Institute must be accused of complete failure. They had to foresee that the delivery of the vaccines that were granted approval would take several years. In this situation, sensible people would examine all possible alternatives and support their implementation. Such people would have immediately come up with the highly effective immunisation in Lübeck, would have supported the project, and by the end of 2021 the whole of Germany could be virtually free of Covid-19! The vaccination of over one hundred patients with recombinant S1-RBD antigen in Lübeck was almost free of side effects and extremely effective, 95% of the those vaccinated developed protective antibodies in high concentration within six weeks.

The regulatory authorities are overwhelmed. They can do nothing but proceed according to a tried and tested pattern. They are helpless in the face of the catastrophe, but they have caused it themselves. As the very first institution, they could and should have foreseen the avalanche-like outbreak of the pandemic. If they had immediately taken up my suggestion to immunise the population with such an ordinary antigen, the spread of the disease would have been stopped very quickly. Hundreds of thousands of people would not have fallen ill, tens of thousands would not have died.

It is unbelievable the way the PEI is still being courted, like gods who are pleased to approve a vaccine under certain conditions. After their long and careful examination of every single detail, examining whether every stamp is in the right place and every piece of paper is folded correctly, social life and the economy are collapsing. For me, these delaying authorities are just as bad as the disease itself and are unworthy to bear the name of Paul Ehrlich, whose achievements would not have come to us in the environment of increasing excessive bureaucracy. Entrepreneurial qualities should be more in demand in this situation, not paralysing dirigisme or impotent stammering on television. It would do our society good if the Paul Ehrlich Institute had a little competition, something like the Technical Inspection Agency or DEKRA.

In the current catastrophic situation, you don’t need lengthy double-blind trials to precisely work out differences in effectiveness. One inoculates the first thousand test persons (preferably with the Lübeck method), and makes them immune right away. If that goes well, ten thousand people get it, and then the rest. But some clinicians always have their eye on their third-party funding account and want to approach the matter scientifically in a way that is tried and tested for them, and first carefully find out whether a few percent more or less Anti-Covid antibodies develop in a vaccine candidate. After all, not every vaccine, like the one from Lübeck, will be able to induce antibodies in very high concentrations that eliminate (neutralize) the coronavirus in 95% of patients.

By the way, my suggestion of rapid immunisation with the Corona S1 antigen was enthusiastically received by several scientists. Others dismissed and criticised without reason. Those who did not come up with this idea themselves, or who may be getting their research budget funded by (newly) established vaccine manufacturers. Perhaps some “scientists” receive so much in third-party funding that they talk down my simple approach to a solution so as not to go away empty-handed. The manufacturers will not allow any comparison, because they are afraid that my vaccine can compete with their newly patented substances. This would make their patents worthless and the expected sales of hundreds of billions of dollars and euros are threatened. I do not rule out the possibility that our so admired godlike authorities are not only hostile to innovation, but may even have acted on someone else’s behalf. They turn a blind eye to the simplest solution and file charges against it. With so much money at stake, I am now putting my life in danger as well. “From you, you Corona victims up there, if no other voice is raised, then be my murder complaint lifted!” Victims of short-sighted “scientists”, cowardly paragraph servants and bureaucrats.

In this same context, it should certainly be demanded that the Paul Ehrlich institute recognize a positive antibody result in the vaccination certificate. Only in the case the vaccine is certified. Even people who survived a Corona infection are to be inoculated. They have earned their antibody honestly. Apparently, the minions don’t want to miss out. Will someone report the Paul Ehrlich Institute to police?

To avoid the stupid accusation of some of the said “scientists” that my “self-experiment” has no probative value, I gave in to the fervent wish of some of my colleagues and friends and legally immunised them according to my scheme — as I did with my family last April. As a physician, I am authorized to do so and do not require the approval of any authority. During our vaccination series from December 2020 to January 2021, we did not experience any relevant undesirable side effects, and we were able to detect very high titers of anti-spike IgG in 60 of 65 patients in our laboratory in Lübeck; five are still being revaccinated, and in 64 the antibodies were virus-neutralizing. None who received the vaccine became incapacitated. All positive patients are happy about their newfound freedom.

The leftist Cuban immigrant who runs President Biden’s Homeland Security Department has admitted releasing illegal aliens into the heartland before they were tested for the China Virus.

The confession from Alejandro Mayorkas backed recent news reports that Biden is releasing “migrants” — leftist code for illegals — without testing, only to be found virus-positive by local authorities. The illegals then board buses to travel anywhere they wish.

Who will be responsible for any deaths the illegals cause if they spread the potentially fatal Asiatic germ is unknown.

We Did It

A known subversive who aided and abetted immigration fraud when he worked at DHS for Barack Hussein Obama, Mayorkas confessed during a hearing of the House Homeland Security committee.

Representative Andrew Clyde of Georgia asked Mayorkas whether illegals are entering the country with the virus, given that testing is required for international travelers.

“Can you assure the American people that no one who has been apprehended is released into our communities … that still test positive for COVID-19?” Clyde asked.

Replied Mayorkas:

There were times earlier when individuals were apprehended and we sought to expel them, and we were unable to expel them, and we were compelled to release them, and we did not have the opportunity to test them.

We have addressed that situation.

 

When Clyde asked whether it is possible for China Virus carriers to enter the country, Mayorkas replied that “we do the best we can in everything we do.”

But Clyde was unsatisfied and reminded Mayorkas about reports that DHS released illegals without testing in Yuma, Arizona, and Brownsville, Texas. More than 100 later tested positive in Brownsville, as The New American reported two weeks ago.

Replied the DHS chieftain: “There were instances in which individuals were released.”

Released With No Test

Thus, only after release are some “migrants” tested and learn they have the possibly fatal virus. And even then, authorities permit them to board buses and ride for any destination they choose.

The releases are no surprise. Biden promised open borders and mandated the releases, and Mayorkas, again, is an open-borders subversive who skirts the law when he wishes.

As TNA reported when Biden picked him, Mayorkas conceived Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that permits illegal-alien kids to stay in the country because their parents smuggled them past border agents.

Beyond that, though, Mayorkas is a proven asylum and visa fraudster.

Writing for the Center for Immigration Studies, Tod Bensman reported that the DHS inspector general looked into Mayorkas’ activities on behalf of rich foreigners trying to buy their way into the country when he was head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Employees at DHS complained that “Mayorkas was providing ‘special access and special favors’ to a handful of EB-5 visa applicants who were wealthy foreign national associates of powerful U.S. Democratic figures and office-holders doing the asking,” Bensman wrote of the IG’s probe.

It concluded that Mayorkas “exerted improper influence in the normal processing and adjudication” of visas, “inserted himself in unprecedented ways” in the adjudication process, and “intervened with the career USCIS staff in ways that clearly benefited the stakeholders.”

In 2016, TNA reported that the Obama administration released illegals into the country — still wet from crossing the Rio Grande. And Mayorkas told agents that placing the illegals in deportation proceedings was senseless because Obama would not deport them. In 2012, TNA reported Senator Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) concern that Mayorkas had no intention to investigate asylum fraud.

Mayorkas is the official running U.S. immigration policy and is responsible for border security. His record apparently didn’t matter when Biden picked him.

No wonder “migrants” who carry a potentially deadly virus are released into communities of unsuspecting Americans.

Conspicuously lacking once again is any definition of what exactly constitutes “domestic, ideologically motivated extremism.” Is it support for violence and actual insurrection? Or is it simply holding views that dissent from the hard-left agenda? It is increasingly clear that the latter is meant. The January 6 Capitol riot is a “searing example” of the threat the country faces, while Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots all over the country continue to be ignored. This appears to be one more attempt to portray peaceful, law-abiding Americans who supported President Trump and dissent from the leftist agenda as terrorists and as enablers of terrorism. Mayorkas said that since the September 11 attacks, the threat landscape against the U.S. has substantially “evolved” to the point that foreign terrorism is no longer the chief concern of DHS.

Dr Anthony Fauci has claimed that in order for herd immunity against coronavirus to be reached in the US, children and even babies will have to be vaccinated.

Speaking during a Senate hearing, the chief medical adviser to the Biden administration said “I think we should be careful about wedding ourselves to this concept of herd immunity because we really do not know precisely, for this particular virus, what that is.”

“We don’t really know what that magical point of herd immunity is, but we do know that if we get the overwhelming population vaccinated, we’re going to be in good shape. We ultimately would like to get and have to get children into that mix,” Fauci added.

Appearing later on CBS News, Fauci outlined plans to vaccinate children as young as six-month-old babies early next year:

On Wednesday, Fauci dismissed concerns that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines could impact children’s genetics.

“We’re going to be looking at multiple aspects of safety,” Fauci told reporters, adding “There is really no biological reason at all to indicate or even predict that you would even see any modification of a genetic profile when you’re dealing with mRNA, which has no way of integrating into the genome of a cell.”

Vaccine manufacturers Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are both currently running tests of their mRNA vaccines in children.

Moderna has also revealed that it has a study underway in children under 12 that will eventually include those as young as six month old babies.

CDC figures show that of almost 400,000 US deaths counted as from COVID-19, just 93 were children 4-years-old and younger.

The figure equates to less than 0.1% of the population, yet Fauci is suggesting that 23.6 million children aged 0-5-years-old need to take the vaccine, arguing that if they do not, herd immunity may not be reached.

Elsewhere during the Senate hearing Thursday, Rand Paul, also a doctor,  clashed with Fauci, arguing that forcing people to wear masks after they have had the virus or the vaccine is compromising immunity.

“There have been no scientific studies arguing, or proving, that infection with COVID does not create immunity,” Paul stated.

Conservatives Gird Their Loins as Becerra Gets Confirmed

On Thursday, the U.S. Senate narrowly confirmed Xavier Becerra as secretary for Health and Human Services (HHS), 50 to 49. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) joined the Democrats in voting for Becerra. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), who would almost certainly have voted for Becerra, was absent.

Becerra’s confirmation sends a chilling message to pro-life Americans and Americans of faith. Yet conservatives aren’t taking it lying down. As soon as the Senate confirmed Becerra, Republicans and conservative groups announced that they would keep up the pressure to fight for the religious liberty Becerra threatens.

Becerra has no medical experience, but he has a long track record of promoting leftist social issues and silencing those who disagree. As California attorney general, Becerra continued the prosecution of pro-life journalist David Daleiden (after Kamala Harris began it). Becerra also vigorously defended a California law that would have forced pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise abortion — before the Supreme Court struck it down. Becerra also targeted the Little Sisters of the Poor after the Trump administration provided an exemption for the nuns the Obamacare contraception mandate.

Becerra also sued the Trump HHS after the agency struck down an Obama-era rule forcing transgender ideology in health care. He also furthered Kamala Harris’s policy of demanding that nonprofit organizations turn over their donor lists, which would likely expose the donors to harassment, especially since the California attorney general’s office has previously leaked this kind of donor information.

After Becerra’s confirmation, conservatives girded their loins to face the threat.

“The Senate has just narrowly confirmed an extremist, Xavier Becerra, to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services,” Kristen Waggoner, general counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, which represented the pro-life pregnancy centers before the Supreme Court in a case against Becerra, said in a statement.

“From his new role, we expect Mr. Becerra will continue his attack on the civil liberties of those with whom he disagrees. However, his confirmation will not stop ADF from our steadfast commitment to advocate for religious liberty, free speech, the protection of life, and parental rights, even if it means meeting him once again at the U.S. Supreme Court,” Waggoner added.

The National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), the pro-life pregnancy center coalition that successfully sued Becerra at the Supreme Court, warned Becerra that it would gladly defend the pro-life movement’s free speech in court again, if necessary.

“We will continue to protect the free speech rights of our movement’s leaders as they support women and save lives across our nation,” Anne O’Connor, NIFLA’s vice president of legal affairs, said in a statement. “Becerra will rue the day he attempts to use his position in the U.S. government to attack pregnancy centers again. His anti-life bullying will not be tolerated.”

“Becerra’s extreme views are a threat to women’s health, pregnancy centers and free speech,” O’Connor added. “See you in court,” she warned.

“Xavier Becerra is a dangerous ideologue who has made a career of attacking long-held religious freedom protections and using his office to pursue a partisan political agenda,” First Liberty Institute Deputy General Counsel Justin Butterfield said in a statement. “His policy position as Attorney General in seeking to force the public disclosure of donors to non-profit organizations is so extreme that organizations from the ACLU the PETA submitted briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court challenging him.  By choosing Xavier Becerra as his Secretary of HHS, President Biden has sent a clear message that people of faith are not respected under his administration.”

Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life, noted Becerra’s heinous attacks on pro-life Americans and declared that “pro-life Americans will be keeping a close eye on Becerra’s agenda and will continue to speak out in defense of women and the unborn.”

“Becerra isn’t right for the job because in the middle of a global pandemic the Department of Health and Human Services needs to be focused on health and human services. Becerra is a culture warrior who made his name in bloody-knuckled politics by bullying nuns. This confirmation fight is over, but I’m going to keep working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to make sure that Congress defends First Amendment freedoms when bureaucrats and regulators put partisan agendas ahead of constitutional protections,” Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) declared.

By nominating Becerra, Joe Biden confirmed that his presidency represents a threat to religious freedom. Americans of conscience should be shocked and horrified that Biden would nominate the radical Becerra with his track record of silencing dissent. By doing this, Biden exposed his true colors and that should alienate millions of Americans.

Make no mistake: Joe Biden is no moderate, and Becerra is one more glaring piece of evidence to that effect. Americans need to unite against the president’s dangerous agenda to silence conservatives, and conservatives should gird their loins for the coming battles ahead.

Four more countries have abruptly halted the distribution of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine amid reports that people developed blood clots after receiving the shot.

Germany, France, Italy, and Indonesia all announced Monday they would be suspending the use of AstraZeneca’s vaccine as a precaution until the World Health Organization conducts a review.

“After new reports of thromboses of the cerebral veins in connection with the vaccination in Germany and Europe, the PEI (Paul Ehrlich Institute) considers further investigations to be necessary,” said the health ministry.

“The European Medicines Agency will decide whether and how the new findings will affect the approval of the vaccine,” it added.

French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters Monday that France would suspend the vaccine until at least late Tuesday in anticipation of a European Medicines Agency (EMA) review.

“The decision has been made…to suspend the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as a precaution, hoping that we can resume its use quickly if the judgement of the EMA allows it,” Macron said.

Italian prosecutors seized a batch of 393,600 AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines over the weekend after a teacher died Saturday hours after receiving the jab.

Indonesia decided to suspend the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine after seeing the reports of blood clots emerge in the European countries.

“To be conservative, the food and drug agency delayed implementation of AstraZeneca [vaccine] as it awaits confirmation from the WHO,” health minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin told a parliamentary hearing on Monday.

Numerous European countries, including Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Iceland, and Norway have already suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine over reports of blood clots.

This comes as the establishment and media are demonizing anybody skeptical of taking the vaccine.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday he finds it “so disturbing” that you would DARE question the safety of any of the COVID vaccines, even while numerous countries are suspending it over health concerns.

Joe Biden finally addressed the American people Thursday, for the first time in almost two months, and decreed that if they continue to follow CDC rules they might be able to have a barbecue in their own backyards in four months time.

But in the same breath Biden threatened to take away that monumental freedom if Americans do not remain ‘vigilant’.

Only around 7000 people tuned into the White House stream to watch Biden’s first proper address.

He managed to sound semi-coherent for around twenty minutes, with the biggest takeaway being that more strict restrictions will come back if Americans start trying to live their lives normally again without masks or avoiding each other.

“If we do our part… by July 4, there’s a good chance you, your families, and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day… Small groups will be able to get together,” proclaimed Biden:

He then added, “If we don’t stay vigilant and the conditions change, then we may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track.”

Biden also told Americans “I need you to get vaccinated when it’s your turn… And to help your family, your friends, your neighbors get vaccinated as well.”

Biden added that people need to “listen to Dr. Fauci,” who this week admitted there is no science behind continued lockdowns.

Biden declared that Fauci has “has assured us, the vaccines are safe. They underwent rigorous scientific review. I know they are safe.”

Responding to the dangling carrot of backyard cookouts, Tucker Carlson tore into Biden, saying “How dare you tell us who we can spend the Fourth of July with”:

“Who are you talking to? This is a free people, a free country,” Carlson raged.

The Fox host also pulled Biden up on his vaccine rhetoric, noting “He said, there will be enough vaccines for every person in America … and if you take that shot, things potentially could get back to normal. No mention at all of the people who might not want to take the shot.”

While Biden blathered on about President Trump being awful and various woke non-issues, he failed to even mention the massive immigration crisis on the border that he has directly instigated in a matter of days.

CNN provided a platform for NYU medical ‘ethics’ professor Arthur Caplan Sunday, who argued that Americans skeptical of taking the COVID vaccine will soon come around and accept it if their freedoms otherwise remain restricted.

Caplan argued that allowing people to have their freedoms returned after lockdown is the most “powerful incentive” to push the vaccine.

“If you promise people more mobility, more ability to get a job, more ability to get travel, that’s a very powerful incentive to actually achieve fuller vaccination,” Caplan told Fareed Zakaria.

The segment even began with the infamous ‘show me your papers’ scene from the movie Casablanca:

Caplan argued that Americans will “gain freedom” if a COVID certification system is enacted.

Caplan continued “Vaccine passports do require access; it’s hard to impose anything unless you are pretty sure that somebody can get a vaccine. So I think it’ll be a little while before we see this, let’s say within the U.S.”

“But there are going to be communities and areas of the country where it starts to make sense due to high availability of the vaccine to say, ‘you wanna come back to work in person? Gotta show me a vaccine certificate. You wanna go in a bar, a restaurant? Gotta show me a vaccine certificate,’” he added.

When asked about the dangers of a two-tier society, and who can get access to the vaccine, Caplan stated “I think there will be some inequality in the U.S., but hopefully it’ll wash out quickly as the supplies increase very rapidly, I think they’re going to.”

Caplan predicted that “the world won’t wait for vaccine passports” until all countries are ready, and that they will be put into place regardless of whether poorer or less equipped countries can be a part of the system.

As we reported last week, New York City has unveiled a vaccine passport system in conjunction with IBM, trialling it at two sports events so far.

Covid passport systems, which we have been covering for months now, are being rapidly adopted worldwide both domestically and for international travel, despite the fact that the immunity status of vaccinations is not yet extensively known, and despite warnings that such schemes could lead to mass discrimination against those who choose not to take the shot.

J&J to Test COVID-19 Vaccine on Babies, Pregnant Women and the Immunocompromised

Pharmaceutical and medical device giant Johnson & Johnson, Inc. (J&J) announced on Feb. 28, 2021 plans to test its experimental Ad26.COV2.S vaccine for COVID-19 on infant children (including newborns), pregnant women and people with compromised immune systems. J&J did not include infants, pregnant women or the immunocompromised in the U.S. population in clinical trials on the experimental COVID-19 vaccine last year.1 2 3

A recent article in New York Magazine noted:

The initial clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines didn’t include children, which is standard practice; now, trials for younger children are happening in descending order of age, calibrating the best dosage for each cohort.3

The announcement by J&J came the day after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted J&J subsidiary Janssen Biotech, Inc. an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to distribute the vaccine in the U.S. for use by individuals 18 years of age and older. Currently, the single-dose Ad26.COV2.S vaccine cannot be given to anyone in the U.S. under 18 years old.4 5 6 7.8

According to a spokesperson for Janssen, which manufactures Ad26.COV2.S, the single-dose vaccine will first be tested on children between 12 and 18 years old. Afterward, J&J will proceed quickly to test the vaccine on infants, pregnant women and immunocompromised people.2

FDA Reviewed J&J Plans to Test COVID-19 Vaccine on Babies

J&J’s move to test its COVID-19 vaccine on very young children, as well as pregnant women and immunocompromised people, was expected. The plans to perform these clinical trials were reportedly included in J&J’s application to the FDA for Emergency Use Approval (EUA) and were discussed by members of the FDA advisory committee that reviewed J&J’s data on Ad26.COV2.S.2 9

“They (J&J) did not get into a lot of detail about it but did make it clear they will be pursuing pediatric and maternal coronavirus immunization studies,” said FDA advisory committee member Ofer Levy, MD, PhD, director of the Precision Vaccines Program at Harvard University’s Boston Children’s Hospital.2

Other Companies Testing COVID-19 Vaccines on Older Children

J&J’s planned COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials will be the first to include infants. AstraZeneca plc, which has produced the experimental AZD1222 vaccine for COVID-19 in partnership with Oxford University, has been conducting clinical trials on children as young as six years of age, while Moderna, Inc. and Pfizer, Inc. (in partnership with BioNTech SE) are currently testing their experimental mRNA-1273 and BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccines on children as young as 12.10 11

J&J began shipping out four million doses of Ad26.COV2.S on Mar. 1. The company has pledged that it will have 20 million doses of the vaccine ready to distribute by the end of March and 100 million doses by this summer.3

Left-wing Western leaders continue to open their borders to mass migration while imposing harsh coronavirus lockdown measures on their own citizens. Migrants are being used by the left to dilute host cultures, ensure more votes, and consolidate power.

These leaders have chosen to impose no consequences for migrants trying to make their way to liberal-run Western nations. Once illegals break in, leaders use taxpayer money to reward them with food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and other benefits. All asylum applications are considered and rarely refused.

As left-wing leaders implement these costly measures, their own citizens are economically struggling due to tyrannical coronavirus restrictions imposed on citizens for a virus with a 99.8% survival rate.

Germany

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is using taxpayer money to fly hundreds of Middle Eastern migrants from the Greek Islands to Germany. Meanwhile, the left-wing leader is threatening to close Germany’s borders to European Union member states if stricter uniformed coronavirus “safety” mandates are not implemented across all EU countries.

It seems the “dangerous” virus with a microscopic infection fatality rate has not stopped the relocation of migrants to Germany’s “epidemic areas.” Sadly, migrants are being used by the left to dilute host cultures and ensure votes in order to seize more power.

Merkel is using taxpayer money to reward the illegals with flights, homes, food, and many other free benefits. As she implements these costly measures, German citizens are economically struggling due to Merkel’s tyrannical coronavirus measures.

Since April 2020, over two thousand Migrants have been flown from Greece to Germany alone. Migrants are flown by a taypayer-funded plane to Hanover from Lesbos. In the past several months, the pace of the migrants' “resettlement” has increased. Covid travel restrictions seem not to apply to them. The illegals are now arriving by plane twice a week.

The final week of February saw 277 illegals flown into Germany seeking more taxpayer help. Another 197 were flown in the following week. The majority of the people being implanted into Germany are from the Middle Eastern Islamic countries of Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq. 

The Federal Ministry of the Interior announced this week that two new groups of migrants would be arriving at Hanover Airport. One group consisting of 106 migrants made up of 26 families with 50 adults and 56 minors. Another group consisted of 91 migrants comprising 20 families with 41 adults and 50 minors. Germany has taken hundreds of sick migrant children, along with many unaccompanied minors from Greece. Although, there is some disagreement about whether they are indeed minors or not.

In America, newly installed Democrat President Joe Biden’s new border measures allow illegals to break into America without fear of being detained by the border patrol. Biden is already welcoming 6,000 illegals each day despite the virus. While most of the country remains on lockdown or facing harsh restrictions, illegals are moving freely across our border. As reported at RAIR, Biden is not even testing the illegals for the coronavirus or any other diseases that could harm citizens.

Biden is also not allowing the virus to slow down his plans to welcome 700% more “refugees” from terrorist hot spots around the world through his agenda-driven Refugee Admissions Program. This controversial program to import more Democrat voters was the brainchild of then-Senator Joe Biden. Meanwhile, President Trump lowered the cap for refugee admissions each year of his presidency, dropping them to a record low of 15,000 for 2021.

European Union

The day Joe Biden was sworn into office as America’s new president Swedish European Union (EU) Commissioner Ylva Johansson delivered a speech celebrating their new open borders alliance. While the Commissioner is forcing member states to accept migrants, she is ramping up coronavirus restrictions for travelers within the bloc of 27 member states.

During the pandemic, Johansson continues to force European Union member states to accept all migrants applications despite their country’s overwhelmed and financially depleted systems:

“Rejections are illegal. Not everyone has the right to asylum, but everyone has the right to be treated in line with our values. When people apply for asylum in the EU, they appeal to European values. And we must honour that appeal”

Johansson told Swedish news agency TT she does not believe closing countries’ border helps secure a nation, but nations should instead enhance their “digital security”:

I do not believe that either the security threats or the pandemic threats today can be met in any effective way with closed borders. Rather, it is about the need to better protect ourselves digitally. This is where we can be incredibly much more efficient within the EU.

Johansson and the European political elite have gone to great lengths to conceal the devastating effects of their suicidal immigration policies that are transforming Europe. From arresting migration critics to lying and concealing the links between migration and crime/terrorism, to labeling those concerned about the financial effects of millions of migrants as right-wing extremists or racist and “xenophobic”.

Spain

In Spain, the socialist-led government has imposed strict lockdown measures as it is mandating coronavirus “vaccinations” in one region and registers the name of citizens who refuse the injection. Spain has reported they will share the list of vaccine refusers with all EU member states. Meanwhile, the arrival of illegals to Spain, many who are infected with the coronavirus, has skyrocketed over the past year. The migrants are regularly escaping quarantine or are confined for a short period by the government and then released into the Spanish public.

Italy

In Lampedusa, Italy, throughout the pandemic, landings of illegal migrants have reached epidemic proportions – many infected with the Chinese coronavirus. Hundreds of illegal immigrants mainly from Bangladesh, Tunisia, Morocco, and the Ivory Coast, arrived day after day.

Residents in Lampedusa express their fear and people are exasperated, “We are afraid” declared a community member. “It is like this every day, the risk of contracting Covid-19” is once again a threat because of the arrival of the illegal migrants. Despite the community’s cries for help, the government continued to allow their shores to be invaded by criminals while only imposing stricter lockdown measures on citizens of Italy.

Meanwhile, Italy served as the launch-pad for tyrannical coronavirus mandates. The coronavirus crisis is offering Italy’s leaders a convenient pretext to silence critics and consolidate power. Any doctor or critic who has gotten in their way and refuses to fall in line is being canceled.

Canada, France, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Netherlands, and many other left-wing-run nations are imposing tyrannical lockdown measures and regulations on their own citizens while flooding their countries with illegals during the pandemic.

Western leaders have capitalized on the pandemic to seize more power and control. Instead of closing their countries’ borders, these leaders have rewarded human traffickers, NGO’s and migrants. Their illegal behavior in the Mediterranean and across Central America goes unabated. Meanwhile, they have kept citizens locked in their homes like criminals and used taxpayer money to import left-wing voters.

While Joe Biden is heavily promoting mask-wearing and unapproved vaccines for the coronavirus, the newly installed puppet is also welcoming unvetted future Democrat voters to flood the borders without testing them for diseases that may harm Americans.

Open borders policies are a clear contradiction to the measures being imposed on Americans ostensibly to protect them from a disease with a microscopic infection fatality rate. On the contrary, the self-serving, America-destroying open borders policy by the Democrats is designed to keep them in power.

When he served as Vice President, Joe Biden and then deputy secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “set the standard for a border crisis” at “1,000 attempted crossings a day” as reported at Heritage Foundation:

“In less than a month under Biden, the number of people illegally coming into the country is more than 6,000 per day—that’s six times the crisis level as set by the Obama team.”

Outrage: Biden’s Border Patrol Is Not COVID-Testing Immigrants Swarming and Overwhelming the Border

When Joe Biden signaled his open-borders plan, it triggered human traffickers south of the border to start teeing up swarms of people to storm the U.S. and flood the already COVID-pandemic-slammed U.S. labor market. But now we learn that the Biden administration has not been COVID testing the illegal immigrants swarming the border before they’re released into the interior of the U.S.

Joe Biden knew this before he opened the borders. He gobsmackingly asserted that the U.S. “didn’t have a COVID vaccine” and claimed the pandemic was so severe he had to spend nearly $2 trillion to fight it.

The Washington Examiner reports that the Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security are not COVID-testing the illegal aliens and their children. Why? Even if they did test positive, “they cannot return children and some families.” Adults can be deported, but not people with children.

The Border Patrol is not allowed to quarantine illegal aliens with the virus. The Examiner reports that they’re urged to turn them over to “local health systems.”

The Border Patrol cannot legally force anyone in custody who is suspected of having the virus to stay in custody for a 14-day quarantine period. Instead, agents have been instructed to refer migrants suspected of being coronavirus-positive to “local health systems,” which CBP noted “could be any local health authority, hospital, health facility, etc. depending on the area.”

A 2019 Border Patrol survey revealed that children are bought, sold, or rented to be part of fake “family units” – a ticket to the U.S.

[…] Border Patrol agents identified more than 6,200 fraudulent family members in fiscal year 2019, which runs from Oct. 1, 2018 through Sept. 30, 2019. This is at a time when Border Patrol agents apprehended over 473,000 people who presented themselves as a family unit.

[…] “The parents are poor, and a stranger offers to pay them $1,000 to use their child, that parent is going to go for that incentive,” Delgado said. “You have a child’s life in a stranger’s hands.”

The Examiner reports the Border Patrol can only do so much and testing is not one of the things it does.

“Border Patrol agents look over migrants for symptoms of COVID-19, but the Border Patrol itself cannot administer rapid coronavirus tests and has not tested anyone.

[Customs and Border Protection] personnel conduct initial inspections for symptoms or risk factors associated with COVID-19 and consult with onsite medical personnel, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or local health systems as appropriate,” Customs and Border Protection, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security that oversees the Border Patrol, told the Washington Examiner in a written statement.”

Officers are overwhelmed. Requests by PJ Media to get in touch with the Border Patrol union several times this week, for example, have languished for days.

A few of the people showing up at the southern border were seen wearing the Biden campaign logo on shirts reading, “Biden Please Let Us In.”

But this theater hides a potentially much more serious problem that Biden has not addressed. Why is Biden letting in thousands of people into the country during a pandemic that the president maintains is out of control?

Texas Governor Gregg Abbott, who just opened up his state, removing mask mandates and freeing businesses to reopen to 100%, was asked by the Biden administration to use state resources to test.

Abbott was outraged that Biden would make the country “a magnet.”

“The unconscionable act by the Biden Administration of released COVID-positive illegal immigrants in our state puts the lives of Texans and Americans at risk. Border security is strictly a federal responsibility. The federal government alone has the responsibility to test, screen and quarantine illegal immigrants crossing our border who may have COVID. Instead of doing their job, the Biden Administration suggested it did not have sufficient resources and, remarkably, asked Texas to assist them in aiding their illegal immigration program. Texas refused. We will not aid a program that makes our country a magnet for illegal immigration.”

Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) complained that people from Mexico, who test positive by activist groups stationed at the bus stations to test people, are allowed to get on Greyhound buses and travel to the interior of the country without being stopped.

“They tested some of the people who got put at the bus station in Brownsville and according to the rapid tests, about 108 tested positive. So basically that creates a situation that they are letting people who are positive (for coronavirus) get on buses and with the permission of Homeland Security they can go anywhere in the United States,” Cuellar said during an online news conference.

Greyhound is deeply concerned about the safety of its employees and acting as a vector for disease for the rest of the nation. The transportation company is demanding DHS assure the company illegal aliens riding the buses are COVID-free.

As a result of the increased human trafficking, drug cartels can now use the humans to decoy Border Patrol officers and keep them busy, while drugs are snuck in through another spot in the border.

Biden knew what he was doing. He dismantled the effective border security agreements Trump had with Mexico and Guatemala and stopped the construction of Trump’s wall. Trump’s moves to secure the U.S. border look even more prescient in a COVID-afflicted environment.

But Biden doesn’t care that his moves don’t help U.S. citizens but, in fact, could kill them.

He’s purposely let people into the country who are, in some cases, COVID-positive. Just as U.S. businesses are on the verge of making a comeback, states are re-opening, and people who have been out of work will have to compete with the cheap labor Biden allowed in.

Some people would say elections have consequences and, of course, they do.

But this is way beyond “consequences.”

It’s treachery.

It’s been 44 days since President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was inaugurated, and he has yet to hold a press briefing. Apparently, this is some sort of record, but Biden needn’t worry because his enablers in the press are scrambling to come up with excuses for him. It’s a “new media strategy in a new media environment” or something. Or, no, wait, ol’ Joe is just too busy with the pandemic! Yeah, that’s the ticket.

If you’ve paid any attention to Biden at any point in his half-century in public life, though, you know the real reason he can’t be trusted to field a bunch of questions from reporters he hasn’t rehearsed with: He’s a big dummy and he says lots of dumb things when he has to speak extemporaneously. That’s been true for decades, and it’s even worse now that he’s pushing 80 and his brain is turning into tapioca pudding. His aides want to differentiate him from the gaffe master he replaced, so they’re keeping him under wraps as much as possible.

But there’s only so much they can do. He’s the president and he has to make public appearances from time to time, or else people will start to wonder if he’s still alive. And his bumbling staffers can’t script everything he says. So we can look forward to more Biden gaffes, like the one you’re about to hear, for the next four years or until Kamala takes over.

President Biden on Thursday made one of his most head-turning comments since being sworn in when he told an Indian American aerospace engineer that immigrants from the subcontinent are “taking over” the US.

“It’s amazing. Indian-descent Americans are taking over the country — you, my vice president, my speechwriter,” Biden told Swati Mohan, NASA’s guidance and controls operations lead for the Mars Perseverance rover landing.

This isn’t Biden’s first cringeworthy remark about Indian-Americans. There was this classic from the ’08 campaign trail:

“In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7/11 or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”

Well, Obama obviously didn’t mind.

Is this stuff racist? I dunno. It doesn’t seem racist to me, no matter who’s saying it. I don’t think Joe Biden has hate in his heart when he says these stupid, stupid things. He thinks he’s relating to people by saying this crap about them. He’s not racist, he’s just old.

(And hey, didja know his VP is half-Indian? That’s the half all the Dems use when they get tired of calling you racist against black people. Like Kamala did. To Biden. At a debate.)

But we live in a society where Dr. Seuss’s books are getting banned because 80 years ago he drew a Chinese kid holding chopsticks. Everywhere you look, somebody’s getting fired for saying something that somebody, somewhere, interpreted as racist. Hell, Hank Azaria was pressured to quit playing Apu on The Simpsons after 30 years, because suddenly it’s racist for a white person to be funny playing a person of a different race.

Can you even imagine if the previous president had said this out loud into a microphone? You’d have to peel Brian Stelter off the ceiling.

Hell, last week Biden blurted out what sounded a lot like the N-word, and all the libs pretended it never happened because they just don’t want to deal with it.

Fortunately for Joe, he’s a Democrat who managed to get elected president, so those rules don’t apply to him. He gets the benefit of the doubt because they’re stuck with him. Congrats, Dems, you got the guy you wanted!

Former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden’s lax immigration policy in a powerful statement on Friday. Trump warned that Biden’s deportation moratorium, his return to catch-and-release, his stopping the construction of the border wall, and his rejection of multilateral border agreements with Mexico and other countries has helped unleash a “tsunami” at the border that, among other things, is helping spread the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.

“Our border is now totally out of control thanks to the disastrous leadership of Joe Biden,” Trump declared in a written statement. “Our great Border Patrol and ICE agents have been disrespected, demeaned, and mocked by the Biden Administration. A mass incursion into the country by people who should not be here is happening on an hourly basis, getting worse by the minute. Many have criminal records, and many others have and are spreading [COVID-19].”

Trump claimed that interior enforcement has been “shut down,” so that criminals that the Trump administration would have removed “are now being released back onto the street to commit heinous and violent crimes. ICE officers are desperate to remove these convicted criminals, but Biden won’t let them.”

Trump claimed that when he left office, “we had achieved the most secure border in our country’s history,” but he warned that “under Biden, it will soon be worse, more dangerous, and more out of control than ever before. He has violated his oath of office to uphold our Constitution and enforce our laws.”

“Now that Biden has implemented nationwide Catch-and-Release, illegal immigrants from every corner of the Earth will descend upon our border and never be returned. You can never have a secure border unless people who cross illegally are promptly removed,” Trump warned.

The former president excoriated Biden for abandoning the “remain in Mexico policy,” which required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their cases were adjudicated. Biden indeed dropped the policy shortly after his inauguration. “Likewise, our Safe Third Agreements in Central America were extraordinarily successful, so Biden foolishly ditched them too,” the former president noted.

Perhaps most egregiously, Biden dropped investigations into human trafficking. Trump noted, “We put in place powerful rules and procedures to stop the smuggling and trafficking, but the Biden Administration has abandoned these proven strategies and instead given the smugglers and traffickers effective control of our border.”

Trump also lamented Biden’s halt to construction of the border wall, even though the former president left it “almost finished” so that it “can be quickly completed.”

“Doing so will save thousands of lives,” the former president urged. While it remains unclear how many lives the wall would save — by discouraging migrants from seeking to cross the U.S. border and therefore endangering themselves —Biden apparently prefers the symbolism of dropping Trump’s policy over whatever good a wall would do.

Trump Eviscerates Biden’s Record in Blistering CPAC Speech

“The spiraling tsunami at the border is overwhelming local communities, depleting budgets, crowding hospitals, and taking jobs from legal American workers,” Trump warned. He also noted that illegal immigrants might carry the coronavirus with them. Indeed, Border Patrol recently released more than 100 illegal immigrants who tested positive for COVID-19 in Texas.

“The Biden Administration must act immediately to end the border nightmare that they have unleashed onto our Nation,” Trump concluded. “Keep illegal immigration, crime, and the China Virus out of our country!”

The statement included the usual Trump bluster, but the former president’s warning raised serious concerns about Biden’s immigration policy. It seems Biden has directed federal officials not to enforce the law, signaling that crossing the U.S. border illegally — which is still a crime — will not be penalized.

Just before Biden took office, a senior Biden transition official warned migrants hoping to cross the southern border that “now is not the time” to make the journey — suggesting that the opportunity would come soon. “There’s help on the way, but now is not the time to make the journey,” the official said, according to NBC News.

Customs and Border Patrol has briefed the White House on the grim prospect that as many as 13,000 unaccompanied alien children will arrive by May as caravans head north.

Biden’s near-total reversal of Trump’s immigration policy — which largely involved enforcing existing federal law — has sparked a likely crisis on the southern border. Trump was right to call him out on it, and Biden would be wise to listen. Unfortunately, the president is likely to double down on his lax policies and encourage yet more illegal immigration.
