Dearborn, MICHIGAN Named ‘America’s Jihad Capital,’ Mayor and Biden Respond About the Way You’d Expect

The Wall Street Journal did everyone a service Friday by publishing an op-ed entitled “Welcome to Dearborn, America’s Jihad Capital: Imams and politicians in the Michigan city side with Hamas against Israel and Iran against the U.S.” This was an eyebrow-raising exposition by Steven Stalinsky of the indispensable Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) of how numerous Islamic leaders and other public figures in Dearborn have openly supported Hamas, which the State Department still officially considers to be a jihad terror group. Instead, however, of concern about open support for terror in Dearborn, the article has given rise to concerns — expressed even by the Biden regime — about “Islamophobia.” 

The whole incident has been an illustration of how stigmatized honest discussion about the jihad threat has become in the U.S. today, after well over twenty years of relentless propaganda from government and law enforcement officials, as well as from the establishment media, about how such discussion is an unacceptable manifestation of hate. Stalinsky himself, after the firestorm began, was put into the unenviable position of having to insist, “Nothing in my article was written to instigate any sort of hate.”

Indeed, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any hate in the article. It was just all coming from the other side. Stalinsky’s article notes that “a local headline describing an Oct. 10 event at the Ford Performing Arts Center read, "Michigan rally cheers Hamas attack.’” He shows Imam Imran Salha of the Islamic Center of Detroit in Dearborn calling for the “demise” of Israel, which, if it ever happened, would result in the murders of millions of Israelis.

Stalinsky also points out that another Dearborn-area imam, Usama Abdulghani, “called Oct. 7 ‘one of the days of Allah’ and a ‘miracle come true.’ He described the attackers as ‘honorable.’ He said they were ‘lions’ defending ‘the entire nation of Muhammad the messenger.’” Also, “the Islamic Center of America, a leading Dearborn mosque, held a memorial service on Dec. 30 for a Hezbollah operative killed in an Israeli airstrike. 

The Hadi Institute, which runs an Islamic Montessori school and bills itself as a youth community center, held a “Commemoration of the Martyrs” on Jan. 5. This event honored Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, leader of the Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.” All this and more, Stalinsky says, makes for “a moment for counterterrorism officials to be concerned.”

There is, however, no indication that they are. The Journal’s article has enraged city officials, not because the city is a hotbed of support for jihad violence, but because it has been exposed as such. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, whose most self-righteous victimhood mode is fully activated, announced Saturday: “Effective immediately - Dearborn police will ramp up their presence across all places of worship and major infrastructure points." This is a direct result of the inflammatory @WSJ opinion piece that has led to an alarming increase in bigoted and Islamophobic rhetoric online targeting the city of Dearborn. Stay vigilant.” 

This was pure grandstanding. There had been no threats anywhere in Dearborn; if there had been, Hammoud certainly would have said so. He was simply indulging in the left’s tried-and-true propaganda technique of equating dissident speech with violence and treating it as incitement (while steadfastly ignoring actual calls for violence and real attacks committed by leftists).

And if any leftists are claiming victimhood and accusing their opponents of “hate speech,” Old Joe Biden can’t be far away. The leftist wonk who runs his X account declared on Sunday, “Americans know that blaming a group of people based on the words of a small few is wrong. That’s exactly what can lead to Islamophobia and anti-Arab hate, and it shouldn’t happen to the residents of Dearborn – or any American town. We must continue to condemn hate in all forms.”

Whoever was putting this unctuous and hypocritical twaddle into hateful Old Joe’s mouth didn’t mention the WSJ article, but that was the only instance of “Islamophobia” the noble people of Dearborn are dealing with, so his intention was unmistakable. It’s unusual for the president of the United States, even a figurehead like Old Joe, to comment on a newspaper article that has nothing to do with himself or his policies, but the Biden regime is deeply worried about the defection of the Muslim bloc from the left’s coalition over the regime’s putative support for Israel. And so Old Joe and his henchmen are playing the “Islamophobia” card wherever and whenever they can.

Amid all this controversy, one question remains unanswered and totally ignored: is Dearborn really America’s jihad capital? Should its mayor be more concerned about that than about clamping down on criticism? The consequences of ignoring that question, after all, could be explosive.

Biden brought tens of thousands of Afghans to America. These were not for the most part “allies” or anyone who had worked with us. They were just the ones who made it to the airport and if anyone vetted them, it was only the Taliban who controlled access.

Biden brought them in and the Senate keeps trying to legalize them even though there’s no basis for it.

At the last count, around 36,000 Afghans or 40% of the “refugees” had no legal basis for being evacuated even after the Biden administration and its congressional allies, both Democrat and Republican, watered down standards for applying for SIV visas so much that virtually any Afghan employed in any capacity by any contractors, charities, or even the media qualified.

The proposed Afghan Adjustment Act would grant the Afghan migrants, at least 36,000 of them, permanent legal residency and put them on a pathway to demanding citizenship.

Tens of thousands of Afghans have been turned loose on “humanitarian parole” for two years, which gives the refugee resettlement organizations handling their cases plenty of time to figure out some basis for applying for a more permanent asylum, but they don’t want to follow the law.

Why not?

Despite the virtual lack of vetting, hundreds of Afghan migrants are being flagged as security risks. 50 believed to be security risks were already released into the country and the majority of them are in the wind. Four have already been involved in sexual assault cases. Considering how much the Afghans have misbehaved in so little time, refugee resettlement contractors are understandably worried that much more damaging information will come out after two years.

All of that was in 2022. It’s two years later and the clock is ticking. And as part of the border deal, they’ll be legalized.

The bill would also provide a pathway to conditional, lawful, permanent residency for vetted Afghan nationals who were admitted or paroled into the U.S. after July 2021.

NBC News repeats the ‘Afghan Allies’ lie. The Afghan allies got visas. They are not allies. They’re Afghan migrants flown in and dumped into America.

And they’ve been making life worse for Americans ever since they got here.

Vetting is a joke. Literally.

Kamala Keeps Pushing Biden to be More Anti-Israel

And she’s one medical crisis away from being president.

In Kamala’s Jihad, I noted her long history of collaborating with Islamists and her pressure campaign on Biden to take more of an anti-Israel stance.

After the Islamic mass murders of over 1,000 Israelis, Kamala returned to pushing “Islamophobia”. In the speech that he delivered three days after the massacres, she urged Biden to include a line about “Islamophobia”… next month in November, she unveiled a push to fight “Islamophobia”, not antisemitism. It was Kamala who pressed Biden to be more open to Islamist groups and their complaints, driving him to profusely apologize for questioning the civilian casualty numbers coming out of Hamas.

In Dubai, Kamala claimed that, “too many innocent Palestinians have been killed. Frankly, the scale of civilian suffering and the images and videos coming from Gaza are devastating.”

A Politico report described how “a person close to the vice president’s office said she believes the United States should be ‘tougher’ on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Now there’s another Politico report, this one frankly anti-Israel, and it once again notes Kamala’s behavior.

Few in the administration sense the danger more than Vice President Kamala Harris. From holiday parties to a dinner at her residence last month for a group of prominent black men, Harris has told sympathetic Democrats outside the White House that she recognizes the political challenges posed by Biden’s unwavering public support for Israel, and I’m told by officials familiar with her comments at the events. Harris told people she’s making the case privately for the administration to show more empathy for the plight of innocent Gazans…

This qualifies as undermining the president, not that Biden is capable enough to do anything about it even though one thing he could do to improve his electoral chances would be to jettison her, she’s even more unpopular than he is, and grates on most people’s nerves. But if Biden gets back in the White House, we stand a very good chance of having President Kamala.

And while Kamala isn’t a dogmatic leftist, she has built much of her career by being in their company and pandering to them. Despite the Jewish husband we keep hearing so much about, she was raised by a radical leftist racial nationalist mother, her sister is a militant leftist  and the political allies she’s closest to tend to be more of the same.

None of this seems all that important now, but it’s one medical crisis away from becoming extremely important.

The White House wants to enlist school officials to help hoodwink parents about its gun control plans, according to a statement issued last week.

The reason is simple: They want to take advantage of the officials’ credibility, which the White House lacks, especially when it comes to guns.

Teachers and administrators, the White House said in the statement, “can be trusted, credible messengers when it comes to providing guidance on gun violence prevention and safe firearm storage options.”

The new program, one of three executive orders Joe Biden issued last week, will be spearheaded by Jill Biden, White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention Director Stefanie Feldman and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

“This issue matters to the President. It weighs on his heart every day. And he’s not going to stop fighting until we’ve solved it,” Jill Biden said last week while touting the plan at a “Gun Violence Prevention Event,” which was held in the Indian Treaty Room of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

From a civil rights perspective, the most worrisome portion of the White House plan is a customizable “communications template,” which school officials “can use to engage with parents and families about the importance of safe firearm storage and encourage more people to take preventive action by safely storing firearms.”

The template is designed so school officials can insert the name of the school and their letterhead to make it appear as though the document came from the school and not the White House. In fact, neither the White House nor the Biden-Harris administration are even mentioned in the document.

Dear [INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL OR SCHOOL DISTRICT] Families, Guardians, and Caregivers:

and

Sincerely, [INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL OR SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR]

The template was accompanied by a letter from DOE Secretary Cardona, which urged school officials to comply with the new White House mandate.

“We encourage all school leaders to consider taking steps to build awareness in your school community about safe firearm storage, such as:

  • Share information about safe firearm storage with parents and families in your school community. You can use the enclosed letter as a resource for parents, families, guardians, and caregivers—as well as teachers and school staff—to help build awareness around safe firearm storage, including what people can do to safely store firearms in their homes and spaces that children may occupy. You can also customize the letter to better meet your community’s needs.
  • Partner with other municipal and community leaders to help improve understanding of safe firearm storage and broader gun violence prevention efforts.
  • Engage other organizations and partners within your community, such as parent organizations, out-of-school time program leaders, nonprofit agencies, and other community-based youth-serving entities who routinely interact with children, teens, families, guardians, and caregivers, to inform them about the importance of safe firearm storage.
  • Integrate information about safe firearm storage into your communications with families, guardians, and caregivers about overall emergency preparedness and school safety.”

Propaganda

There is a lot going on here, and none of it is good.

The White House’s template is classic propaganda, in which a target audience is unaware they are being influenced and unaware of the true source of the message.

It is a psychological operation, or psyop, which targets unsuspecting Americans. Before the Bidens moved into the White House, that wasn’t supposed to happen. Nowadays, it’s become commonplace.

That the White House and its gun control office would publicly propose such a plan proves they do not fear exposure from the legacy media. This, too, is telling. They know who their friends are and don’t worry about repercussions.

School officials will have little choice but to participate in this scam. Secretary Cardona’s letter will be seen to that.

Joe Biden, or more likely his handlers and puppeteers, have rewritten the rules to further their war on our guns. Now, everything goes, including psyops and other forms of gaslighting and deception.

The White House statement also mentions that faith leaders and law enforcement have credibility in their communities.

There’s little doubt the Biden-Harris administration will make a run at the nation’s clergy next.

Pierre Lucard Emile, an illegal alien from Haiti, raped and beat a developmentally disabled person in Boston, according to prosecutors. Emile arrived at the port of entry in Brownsville, Texas “where he was deemed inadmissible and issued a notice to appear,” according to ICE.

In 2023, Peruvian national Emilio Vasquez-Santamaria was charged with murder after being arrested in connection with the killing of U.S. citizen in Eagle Pass, Texas. According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), he crossed illegally at Eagle Pass in May 2023 and was released with a Notice to Appear for 2025.

A new January 2024 report from the U.S. House Judiciary Committee revealed that since January 20, 2021, the Biden administration has released more than 3.3 million illegal aliens into the U.S.

Who are they? What are their intentions? We simply don’t know. We do know there are at least 617,607 aliens on ICE’s non-detained docket who have criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. That means more than half a million criminal aliens are in U.S. communities, posing a serious threat to Americans in every state.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, ICE released 68.1% of the aliens transferred to them by CBP for detention.

In Chicago, Jaime Ubaldo Obando-Andrade, an illegal alien from Ecuador, stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Macy’s store. Upon investigation it was discovered that he had a fake Washington state driver’s license and had cut off an ICE electronic monitoring device. Among the more than 21,000 migrants the sanctuary city has taken in, the Chicago Police Department reported arresting 686 Venezuelans in 2023, which represents a 11,333% increase in arrests of Venezuelans since 2021. Further, between October 2023 and January 2024, police in Oak Brook, a Chicago suburb, arrested 47 migrants for retail theft and burglary.

New York, another sanctuary city overwhelmed by the migrants it invited in, has also seen an increase in crime. Data from the New York Police Department shows that robbery, felony assault and grand larceny auto increased in October 2023 compared to the same time one year prior.

These are just a few examples of the increase in crime being committed by aliens processed and released by federal agents.

The data is clear: President Joe Biden’s policies incentivize increased illegal immigration, allow for easier processing of illegal aliens, result in more illegal aliens into U.S. communities, and repatriate or deport fewer criminal aliens than any other administration. These are all problems that he could fix—if he cared to.

The fact is that a quick process, release, and a notice to disappear undermine any semblance of border security. What we have is a human smuggling superhighway into every state in our nation, and little awareness of who many of these people actually are—or  where they end up.

A citizen journalist interviewing migrants crossing the border in Arizona just showed the world what failed border policies import into America look like. When asking a migrant who they were, the man’s response was: “You are not smart enough to know who I am. But soon you’re gonna know who I am.”

There is no way to know how many security threats are strategically placed across the country today. But one thing is for sure, just as this one migrant said: Soon we will know who they are.

The Texas House passed legislation earlier making it a state crime to illegally cross the southern border, empowering state and local police to arrest and in some cases deport illegal immigrants, in what the bill’s supporters claim is a response to federal inaction. Senate Bill 4 gives local and state governments the authority to arrest illegal immigrants who enter Texas from Mexico between official ports of entry. Under SB 4, those who unlawfully cross the border can be charged with a state misdemeanor and face up to one year in prison. A felony charge, carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years, can be leveled if illegal immigrants are charged with additional crimes or don’t comply with a judge’s orders. The bill also authorizes state judges to deport illegal aliens to Mexico rather than pursue prosecution under federal law. After getting approval from the Texas senate last week, the latest version of SB 4 now heads to Republican governor Greg Abbott’s desk, where he is expected to sign it into law.

Biden May Slow Weapons to Israel to Stop Its Campaign Against Hamas

The Biden administration, Qatar and assorted countries are trying to hammer out a hostage deal that would free thousands of Hamas terrorists and effectively end Israel’s war against the terror group. Since Israel isn’t thrilled about the idea, the Biden administration is looking to apply pressure by using weapons shipments. And that’s why foreign aid to Israel exists.

Our defense industry is financed with foreign aid in the form of weapons shipments so that D.C. can then control the countries that receive those shipments. And decide when they can fight and when they can’t.

The Biden administration is discussing using weaponry sales to Israel as leverage to convince the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to heed long-standing U.S. calls to scale back its military assault in the Gaza Strip, according to three current U.S. officials and one former U.S. official.

At the direction of the White House, the Pentagon has been reviewing what weaponry Israel has requested that could be used as leverage, said the sources. They said no decisions have been made.

Mind you, we’re not even talking about the larger weapons package that Biden announced after the attacks.

The Biden administration tied that package to a much bigger package for Ukraine and a border “deal” that’s in oblivion. This is more in the way of regular resupply.

But the way our defense foreign aid setup works is on the razor blade or printer cartridge model. You get the system for what seems like a good deal, but whenever you need ammo, you have to turn to D.C. Whether you buy it or not, D.C. gets to decide. That’s what Taiwan is dealing with right now. And so the deal turns out not to be a good deal after all.

Right now Biden wants Israel to wind down the war on Hamas. Slowing down resupply means Israel will have to slow down, stop or shift its own operations to depending even more on ground personnel which will cost the lives of more soldiers. And it’s dealing with the possibility that if war breaks out with Hezbollah or other Iran proxies, it will be dangerously undersupplied.

But at least Biden did send over $2 billion to Afghanistan since the Taliban took over.

3 U.S. Soldiers Died Because Biden Won’t Stand Up to Iran

Iran’s terror militias launched a wave of rocket attacks against American soldiers in Iraq and Syria under Biden. There were dozens of these attacks last year alone.

In the spring of 2023, Scott Patrick Dubis, a 52-year-old military contractor who had worked on U.S. military bases in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Qatar, was killed in an Iranian backed attack.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin responded by promising that, “as President Biden has made clear, we will take all necessary measures to defend our people and will always respond at a time and place of our choosing. No group will strike our troops with impunity.”

But Iran and its Jihadi proxy militias could and did go on attacking our troops with impunity.

We launched a few light airstrikes for show and the attacks went on. American personnel kept being wounded in Iranian attacks and sometimes we responded and sometimes we didn’t.

After the latest wave of attacks and responses, the Shiite regime in Baghdad demanded that the United States leave Iraq. Biden, obediently, began negotiating the withdrawal.

Three US Army soldiers were killed and over 30 were wounded in an Iranian-backed drone attack on a position on the Jordanian-Syrian border. This is the worst death toll in some time.

A few months after the Shiite Islamic regime in Tehran commemorated the takeover of the U.S. embassy with chants of “Death to America”, it succeeded in inflicting more death on Americans.

Biden has issued a statement vowing that, once again, “we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing.” Like Austin’s previous statement after the murder of Scott Dubis, that means that no one should expect a quick meaningful response.

The message to Iran and its Islamic terrorists is that they have nothing to worry about. And Iran’s message to us is that we can never pull out far enough until we have surrendered the entire region, the rest of the world and then finally our own country to the enemy.

In the spring of 2020, Army Spc. Juan Miguel Mendez Covarrubias and Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts, as well as Lance Corporal Brodie Gillon, a British female medic, were killed in an attack by the Shiite Iran-backed militias. Roberts died trying to save a female comrade.

And the attacks just keep right on coming.

When Biden came into office, Iran had a pretty good lock on Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. Biden allowed it to seize control over Yemen. During the winter break, it used its Houthi strongholds in Yemen to hijack shipping in the Red Sea. While Biden was out of office and Austin was in the hospital, it seized a channel used by a third of the world’s container ships.

Much like in Iraq and Syria, Biden responded with limited airstrikes that fell far short of ending the threat while conducting a 30 day review before possibly bringing back sanctions on the Houthis. The Houthis have since managed to hit an oil tanker, while global shipping costs have doubled and the shipping war risks insurance premiums have skyrocketed many times over.

The same pattern of failure that had played out in Iraq is now playing out in the Red Sea.

After retreating in the Red Sea, Iran has decided to push the frontiers of terror all the way to the Jordanian border. Jordan is a key intersection, a Saudi client state that shares a border with Israel, whose population would prefer to be ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood’s arms include Hamas and its state sponsor, Qatar, which is an ally of Iran.

Iran is serious about winning and we are not. We have a plan and we do not. Every tentative response that we make telegraphs the fact that we are afraid to attack it. The Biden administration emphasizes that its strikes are measured, defensive and come with warnings.

Our terrorist enemies however have no such fears or concerns. They hit us where they can.

The Biden administration and the foreign policy apparatus live in fear of “expanding the war” while Iran seeks to expand the war as far as it can. If one side wants to expand the war while the other fears any escalation, the outcome is a cycle of retreats and defeats.

Every time Iran attacks, we retreat, and every time we retreat, it pushes harder. Negotiations, sanctions relief and diplomacy have failed miserably. The so-called “moderates” have been pushed out in Iran and the new regime burned them along with their American puppets like Biden’s Iran envoy Robert Malley, who was outed by Iran regime outlets, as it prepares for war.

October 7 was only one of the points of Iran’s Jihadist ‘blitzkrieg’ across the region as it prepares to become the dominant power in the Middle East. And while it was devastating to Israelis, it may be less significant than the takeover of the Red Sea or its existing nuclear program, under which it now has enough enriched uranium to build several nuclear warheads, its simultaneous launch of three satellites or its ballistic missile program that can deliver nukes.

All of this foreshadows a struggle on a grand scale that will test America and the world.

Much like WWII, this crisis could have been averted through geopolitical maneuvers, maximum pressure, limited intervention and other tools that were never properly used. Instead, Obama attempted to cut a nuclear deal with Iran that he knew was worthless. Biden resumed efforts to restore the deal even though Tehran by then had achieved enough of its goals that it demanded only billions in cash while offering nothing in return but contempt, threats and terror attacks.

The killings of three American soldiers is only the latest consequence of these policies.

Iran got lucky in its Tower 22 attack in Jordan, but the attacks could have also been worse. While American soldiers deployed in Iraq and Syria are used to rocket alerts and quickly run to shelter, those in Tower 22 had not gotten into that same habit. A large stream of rockets or missiles could have inflicted much worse casualties than those 3 dead or 30 wounded.

And that leaves out the possibility that we have yet to consider.

On Oct 7, Israeli soldiers braced for rocket attacks by retreating into shelters only to face a massive assault by thousands of armed Jihadis overrunning their positions under the cover of rockets. Israel wasn’t ready for that kind of attack and the real question is are we ready?

Iran will keep testing and pushing us. And if we fail to take the initiative, the attack will come.

We were not ready for the seizure of our embassy in Tehran. We were not ready for the Marine Barracks bombings in Beirut. We were not ready for 9/11. We were not ready for the fall of Kabul. We were not ready for the takeover of shipping in the Red Sea near Yemen.

What aren’t we ready for next? We only have so much time to wait around and find out.

Wars are fought on by taking the offensive or holding defensive positions. When you are always defending, then you allow the enemy to take the initiative and then you have to find out what comes next.

If we don’t take the offensive, we will have to wait to find out how bad the next attack will be.

Texas state Law Passes Allowing State Police to Arrest Immigrants. The Texas House passed legislation earlier making it a state crime to illegally cross the southern border, empowering state and local police to arrest and in some cases deport illegal immigrants, in what the bill’s supporters claim is a response to federal inaction. Senate Bill 4 gives local and state government the authority to arrest illegal immigrants who enter Texas from Mexico between official ports of entry. Under SB 4, those who unlawfully cross the border can be charged with a state misdemeanor and face up to one year in prison. A felony charge, carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years, can be leveled if illegal immigrants are charged with additional crimes or don’t comply with a judge’s orders. The bill also authorizes state judges to deport illegal aliens to Mexico rather than pursue prosecution under federal law.
