President Trump Declares He Won’t Participate in Virtual Debate

Just hours after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the second debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat challenger Joe Biden would be a virtual event, Trump nixed the idea, saying he wouldn’t waste his time with such an event.

Trump made the declaration in an interview with Fox Business Channel anchor Maria Bartiromo, saying that such a format was “not acceptable to us.”

“I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate,” the president said. “That’s not what debating is all about. You sit behind a computer and do a debate. It’s ridiculous, and then they cut you off whenever they want.”

The Commission on Presidential Debates released a statement early this morning saying that the town-hall style debate scheduled for October 15 would be a virtual affair. According to the statement, the decision was made “in order to protect the health and safety of all involved with the second presidential debate.”

“The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations,” the statement read.

Although they never come right out and say it, the CPD’s decision to make the debate virtual was likely influenced by the president’s COVID-19 diagnosis. Over last weekend, Trump was treated at Walter Reed Medical Center for the virus. He was released on Sunday evening after reportedly responding well to treatment.

Trump claims that the CPD’s decision was made unilaterally, without any input from his campaign.

“They didn’t even tell us about the debate, Maria,” Trump told Bartiromo. “We learned it the same way you learned it. They called up two minutes ago and it was announced.”

Trump claimed the decision to hold a virtual debate is an attempt to insulate Biden from scrutiny. At times during the campaign season, the former vice president has looked confused and has struggled to finish sentences when off the teleprompter.

“They’re trying to protect Biden, everybody is. Like that NBC disaster when he went on the show with Lester Holt. It was meant for a child. It wasn’t meant for a grown person,” Trump said.

The Trump campaign quickly blasted the CPD’s decision. Campaign manager Bill Stepien released a statement of his own in which he referred to the decision to make the debate virtual as “pathetic.”

“For the swamp creatures at the Presidential Debate Commission to now rush to Joe Biden’s defense by unilaterally canceling an in-person debate is pathetic. That’s not what debates are about or how they’re done,” Stepien said.

“Here are the facts: President Trump will have posted multiple negative tests prior to the debate, so there is no need for this unilateral declaration,” Stepien said. “The safety of all involved can easily be achieved without canceling a chance for voters to see both candidates go head to head. We’ll pass on this sad excuse to bail out Joe Biden and do a rally instead.”

The Biden campaign is looking forward to some sort of event on October 15. Biden had previously declared that if Trump was still testing positive for COVID-19, the next debate should be canceled.

In a statement, Biden’s Deputy Campaign Manager Kate Bedingfield announced that the Biden camp would “find an appropriate place to take questions from voters directly on October 15, as he has done on several occasions in recent weeks.”

President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis changed everything with regard to the debates. The virus gave the allegedly objective CPD the opportunity to assist the Biden campaign by making the second debate virtual. Now Biden can continue to hide and answer staged questions from friendly hand-picked voters, all while portraying Trump as the one who is afraid of scrutiny.

While next week’s debate looks like it’s not going to happen, another debate is still scheduled for October 22.

 

Biden Threatens Religious Freedom, Suggests Christians With Certain Traditional Views Are ‘Dregs of Society’

Liberals often mock conservative Christians for supporting a notorious sinner and philanderer in Donald Trump, but the left has grown increasingly hostile to biblical small-o orthodox Christianity. Even the ostensibly moderate Democratic nominee Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. represents an insidious threat to the religious freedom of conservative Christians. He also represents a threat to Roman Catholics, even though he is himself a practicing Catholic.

How could this be? Biden’s rhetoric and policies single out those who adhere to traditional religious beliefs and moral convictions, aiming to limit their ability to live by their consciences and ostracizing them from polite society. The Democrat may outwardly campaign on a platform of unity and diversity, but his candidacy truly represents a threat to traditional religious believers.

Disqualified from the Supreme Court?

The most recent evidence of this insidious threat came last week, when a Biden staffer suggested that traditional religious beliefs that homosexual acts are sinful and that marriage is between one man and one woman should be so “taboo” as to disqualify someone from serving on the Supreme Court.

Politico contributing editor Adam Wren noted that President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett “was a trustee at a South Bend private school that described ‘homosexual acts’ as ‘at odds with Scripture’ & said marriage was between ‘one man and one woman’ years after Obergefell v. Hodges.”

Shadi Hamid, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, responded, “Wait, why is this news? Isn’t this the standard position for any orthodox Catholic?”

Nikitha Rai, deputy data director for Pennsylvania at Biden’s campaign, responded to Hamid, saying, “Unfortunately, yes.”

Hamid responded, “to be fair, it’s the standard position for any orthodox Muslim or Jew as well…”

“True,” Rai acknowledged. Yet the staffer insisted that this perspective must be marginalized. “I’d heavily prefer views like that not be elevated to SCOTUS [the Supreme Court of the U.S.], but unfortunately our current culture is still relatively intolerant. It will be a while before those types of beliefs are so taboo that they’re disqualifiers.”

Rai suggested that presidents and the U.S. Senate should apply a religious test for Supreme Court nominations and confirmations. The Constitution explicitly forbids a religious test for service in government. Article VI Clause 3 reads in part, “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

Nikitha Rai is just one Biden staffer. She doesn’t represent the entire Biden campaign, right? On the contrary, Rai’s insistence that traditional religious beliefs on marriage and sexuality should be taboo fits perfectly with the candidate at the top of the Democratic ticket.

“The dregs of society”

In 2018, Biden described conservatives who oppose LGBT activism as “the dregs of society.”

Speaking to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Biden attacked people who have “tried to define family” in the U.S. “Despite losing in the courts and in the court of public opinion, these forces of intolerance remain determined to undermine and roll back the progress you all have made. This time they, not you, have an ally in the White House,” he said of President Donald Trump.

“They’re a small percentage of the American people, virulent people, some of them the dregs of society,” Biden added. “And instead of using the full might of the executive branch to secure justice, dignity, safety for all, the president uses the White House as a literal bully pulpit, callously exerting his power over those who have little or none.”

As my colleague Paula Bolyard reported, Biden again spoke to HRC in June 2019. On that occasion, he called the Orwellian Equality Act his first priority. The so-called Equality Act would force biblical orthodox Christians to violate their consciences on LGBT activism. It would also open women’s sports and women’s private spaces to biological males, undercutting fair play and privacy. A broad coalition of diverse groups allied to oppose the Equality Act, including pro-lifers, religious freedom advocates, and radical feminists.

Yet of the Equality Act, Biden said, “I promise you if I’m elected president it will be the first thing I ask to be done. It will send a message around the world, not just at home.”

“This is our soul, da*mit, this is who we have to be… This is our real moral obligation,” the Democrat added. “Using religion or culture to discriminate against or demonize LGBTQ individuals is never justified. Not anywhere in the world.”

Interestingly, while Biden vocally condemns traditional believers in such harsh terms, he has remained curiously silent on the horrific attacks against Catholic statues and churches amid the George Floyd riots this summer — despite his Catholic identity.

“Discrimination”

Americans do not support discrimination, but Democrats have twisted the notion of discrimination in order to force Christians to violate their beliefs.

Christian baker Jack Phillips, for example, refused to bake a custom cake for a same-sex wedding, although he gladly sells all sorts of pre-made cakes to LGBT people in his shop. Yet the Colorado Civil Rights Commission ruled that he had discriminated against people on the basis of sexual orientation. He appealed the case all the way to the Supreme Court and won — because members of the commission displayed animus against his religious faith, comparing his views to those of the Nazis.

Even after this Supreme Court victory, Phillips again faced the commission. A transgender lawyer asked him to bake an obscene custom cake celebrating the lawyer’s gender transition. Phillips refused, citing his free speech right not to be forced to endorse a view with which he disagrees. The commission again found him guilty of discrimination, but it dropped the complaint in March 2019. The lawyer promptly sued PhillipsChristian floristsfarmers, and other bakers have faced government sanctions for “discrimination” when they refused to celebrate same-sex weddings, exercising their rights to religious freedom, freedom of association, and free speech.

This year, Gov. Ralph Northam (D-Va.) signed legislation that will force Christian schools and ministries to hire people who oppose their religious convictions on sexuality and gender. The laws will also force these ministries — which hold that God created humans male and female — to open women’s sports and women’s restrooms to biological males, to refer to biological males by female pronouns if they “identify” as female, and to pay for transgender surgery in their health care plans.

A lawsuit challenging the new laws as unconstitutional charged that Virginia’s LGBT statues force “people of faith to adopt a particular government ideology under threat of punishment.”

This religious freedom battle in Virginia is just a small taste of what the Equality Act threatens nationwide.

The Democratic Party’s increasing anti-religious animus

Joe Biden’s opposition to the “discrimination” from the “dregs of society” represents a tragically mainstream view in the Democratic Party. Last year, the Democratic National Committee adopted a resolution condemning religious freedom defenses.

“[T]hose most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of ‘religious liberty,’ to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities,” the DNC resolution states.

Senate Democrats have launched attacks on the religious faith of Trump nominees, with Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) infamously saying, “the dogma lives loudly within you.” Former Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) compared a conservative Christian law firm to the Cambodian dictator Pol Pot, citing the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) “hate group” accusation against mainstream conservative and Christian groups.

The SPLC faced a devastating sexual harassment and racial discrimination scandal last year, and former employees outed the “hate” accusations as a cynical fundraising scheme. An attempted terrorist tried to kill everyone at a conservative Christian nonprofit due to the SPLC’s “hate group” accusation, but Democrats continue to cite the SPLC as a reliable arbiter of hate.

Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), has proven one of the worst offenders. In May 2018, Harris launched an inquisition into the Roman Catholic faith of two of Trump’s judicial nominees — because they were members of the Roman Catholic fraternal order the Knights of Columbus (KOC). Harris also cited the SPLC in branding Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the conservative Christian law firm that defended Jack Phillips, a “hate group.”

While serving as California’s attorney general, Harris refused to defend the state law defining marriage as between one man and one woman — even though Californians had voted for it in 2008. Adding insult to injury, Harris rushed to officiate the first same-sex marriage after a court struck down the will of the people.

Animus against conservative Christians is a growing problem among American elites, and it arguably fuels the legacy media’s astounding ignorance of Christian doctrine.

In the book So Many Christians, So Few Lions: Is There Christianophobia in the United States? sociology professors George Yancey and David Williamson painstakingly document the presence of bias against conservative Christians, proving that it is as real as animus against Muslims and Jews. Indeed, Yancey’s most recent research shows that animus against Christians leads some people to support LGBT activism, even when they have a low opinion of LGBT people.

Democrats represent this Christianophobia in political form. Even though Biden is a practicing Roman Catholic, his candidacy represents an insidious threat to traditional Christianity, including orthodox Roman Catholic positions on sexuality and gender.

Those who support traditional marriage or the biological definition of sex as male or female will find their beliefs demonized and their religious freedom and free speech under fire in a Biden administration. It does not matter that supporters of traditional marriage or biological sex are a rather diverse group, including Roman Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox Christians, Jews, Muslims, even atheists, and radical feminists. Biden’s presidency would represent a threat to all of them.

Cardinal Says Devout Joe Biden Is Actually a Bad Catholic. Would the Pope Agree?

Is the ostentatiously devout Catholic Joe Biden, who wore a Rosary (or was it wire?) on his wrist while debating Donald Trump, really a bad Catholic? Prolife Catholics have been saying so for years, and now a leading bishop has spoken up on their side. The Catholic News Agency reported Tuesday that Cardinal Raymond Burke, “a canon lawyer and formerly the prefect of the Church’s highest court, has said that Catholic politicians supporting abortion should not receive Holy Communion, including pro-choice Catholic presidential candidate Joe Biden.”

That’s the kind of statement that makes you formerly the “prefect of the Church’s highest court.”

Biden, Burke asserted, “is not a Catholic in good standing and he should not approach to receive Holy Communion,” because “a Catholic may not support abortion in any shape or form because it is one of the most grievous sins against human life.”

If that is the case, then Biden is clearly not a Catholic in good standing. Accordingly, Burke stated, “I would tell him not to approach Holy Communion out of charity toward him, because that would be a sacrilege, and a danger to the salvation of his own soul. But also he should not approach to receive Holy Communion because he gives scandal to everyone. Because if someone says ‘well, I’m a devout Catholic’ and at the same time is promoting abortion, it gives the impression to others that it’s acceptable for a Catholic to be in favor of abortion and of course it’s absolutely not acceptable. It never has been, it never will be.”

The good Cardinal is right in a sense. That is indeed the teaching of the Catholic Church. But teaching is one thing and practice is quite enough. Pope Francis has repeatedly made it clear that as far as he is concerned, the real sins, the real serious sins that get you a tongue-lashing from the Roman Pontiff and doubtless a date with hellfire in the age to come, are opposing mass Muslim migration into the West and believing that Islam is not a religion of peace. Abortion? Come on, man! That’s child’s play, so to speak, compared to the big sins.

Last September, Pope Francis, who back in 2014 fired Burke from his position as “prefect of the Church’s highest court,” made clear what the big sins really are as far as he is concerned, when he emphasized that Christians had a responsibility before God to take in migrants: “This loving care for the less privileged is presented as a characteristic trait of the God of Israel and is likewise required, as a moral duty, of all those who would belong to his people.”

On that same occasion, the Pope unveiled a huge statue in St. Peter’s Square, “Angels Unawares,” which depicts a boat full of migrants and a pair of angel wings, so as to emphasize that the migrants into Europe, among whom have been numerous jihad terrorists, rapists, and other criminals, are saintly and deserving of Christians’ support and protection.

What about Christians in Europe who are concerned about the spiraling crime rates and the strain on the welfare systems of nations that have taken in large numbers of migrants? Are they allowed to exercise charity toward their neighbors and friends by opposing mass migration and trying to preserve and defend their own cultural heritage?

Not on your life. Or at least they can’t do that and remain Catholics in good standing. And Francis’ Brave New Church has other newly-minted “grievous sins” as well. The Pontiff has claimed risibly that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” As ridiculous and readily disproven as this is, it has become a superdogma in the Catholic Church: if you don’t believe that Islam is a Religion of Peace, you will be ruthlessly harassed and silenced by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the hierarchy elsewhere as well. The bishops of the Catholic Church are much more concerned that you believe that Islam is a religion of peace than that you believe in, say, the Nicene Creed. And so what possible reason could there be to be concerned about these “refugees”? It’s a religion of peace!

As of several years ago, the U.S. Catholic bishops had 91 million reasons — indeed, 534 million reasons — to turn against the truth and disregard the safety and security of the American people: “In the Fiscal Year 2016, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) received more than $91 million in government funding for refugee resettlement. Over the past nine years, the USCCB has received a total of $534,788,660 in taxpayer dollars for refugee resettlement programs.” And how much have pro-life organizations given to the Church in that span? Not $534,788,660.

As Ilhan Omar might say, it’s all about the Benjamins.

And so Cardinal Burke may say Biden is barred from Communion, but it’s certain that there are numerous others who will readily administer Communion to the candidate. After all, he’s right on the really important things.

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

Pope Francis says migrants are ‘like Jesus, forced to flee’

As the Pope celebrates “the World Day of Migrants and Refugees,” he lumps all migrants together, demonstrating the unity of his perspective with that of his fellow globalists and the same determination they display to advance the cause of open borders. He has been completely ignoring the reality of economic migrants and of jihadis infiltrating the refugee stream. He has said nothing about the migrant-caused spike in crime rates, and little about persecuted Christians who are all but abandoned. He also refuses to lead by example and tear down his own safe walls at the Vatican Palace in Vatican City, behind which he is safe.

In contradiction to his boss, the Pope of Islam, Cardinal Robert Sarah once issued a warning about Muslim migration and the destruction of open-door Europe. Sarah declared that “it is a false exegesis [interpretation of scriptural text] to use the Word of God to promote migration. God never wanted these rifts.” That is exactly what Pope Francis has been doing for quite some time, acting as a blind guide in preaching that it is un-Christian to oppose mass Muslim migration into Europe, and now in comparing migrants to Jesus. In so doing, he is woefully insensitive to victims of jihad terror. Migrants are like Jesus? Jesus certainly would never go on a jihad stabbing spree.

ROME — Pope Francis emphasized the involuntary nature of much migration Sunday, insisting that, like Jesus, migrants and refugees are often “forced to flee.”

“Today the Church celebrates the World Day of Migrants and Refugees,” the pope told the pilgrims gathered in Saint Peter’s Square for his weekly Angelus address. “I greet the refugees and migrants present in the Square around the monument entitled ‘Angels, unawares,’ which I blessed last year.”

The pontiff said this year he has dedicated his Message for the commemoration “to the internally displaced, who are forced to flee, as also happened to Jesus and his family. ‘Like Jesus, forced to flee,’ likewise the displaced, migrants.”

“Our remembrance and our prayer to them, in a particular way, and to those who assist them,” he added.

Pope Francis has often compared migrants to Jesus Christ, suggesting that the cold welcome Christ received on coming into the world is similar to the reception many migrants experience.

“Jesus knows well the pain of not being welcomed,” the pope said in a 2018 tweet for International Migrants’ Day. “May our hearts not be closed as were the houses in Bethlehem.”

During the flight into Egypt, “the child Jesus experienced with his parents the tragic fate of the displaced and refugees,” Francis said earlier this year, “which is marked by fear, uncertainty and unease.”

“Unfortunately, in our own times, millions of families can identify with this sad reality,” Francis said. “Almost every day the television and papers carry news of refugees fleeing from hunger, war and other grave dangers, in search of security and a dignified life for themselves and for their families.”

“In each of these people, forced to flee to safety, Jesus is present as he was at the time of Herod,” he continued. “In the faces of the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the sick, strangers and prisoners, we are called to see the face of Christ who pleads with us to help.”…

Following Tuesday night’s debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Biden took to Twitter to declare that Donald Trump was unwilling to denounce white supremacist groups. In that tweet, he included a video clip that contained an image of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who is now facing trial for shooting three people in self-defense during an Antifa riot.

Rittenhouse’s attorney, Lin Wood, took that as a libelous charge against his client, Kyle Rittenhouse, and announced his plan to sue Joe Biden and his presidential campaign for libel.

After issuing a formal demand for retraction, and the Biden campaign’s refusal to do so, said he’s going to teach Joe Biden a lesson he’ll never forget.

Black Lives Matter Leaders Support Violent Riots, Biden Won’t Condemn Them

After the recent toll of mostly peaceful Black Lives Matter rioting wrecked cities and tilted the polls toward Trump, Joe Biden and even Kamala Harris began condemning “violence”.

Biden has said meaningless things like "we condemn the violence", and "I condemn this violence unequivocally" as if violence were an independent entity. Condemning violence, like condemning war, is either pacifism or evasion. Since Biden isn’t a pacifist, he’s evading.

Violence is a concept. You don’t condemn a concept: you condemn its perpetrators.

The Democrats embraced Black Lives Matter, they even fundraised on behalf of the rioters and looters. Senator Kamala Harris tweeted out a link to the Minnesota Freedom Fund which bailed out rioters and looters, and Jaleel Stallings, who was accused of shooting at police officers.

According to police officers, Stallings had crouched near a car during the riots and opened fire on them. He faced two counts of attempted second-degree murder and the bail fund backed by Kamala Harris and several Biden staffers still bailed out the alleged wannabe cop-killer.

Once Biden goes into details, then his condemnation of “violence” actually turns out to be a condemnation of cops and conservatives. Or, as he put it, “I have condemned all forms of violence – police violence, lawless violence and violence perpetrated by extreme, right-wing militia groups.” When he condemns “violence”, he really means he’s condemning the police.

The closest that Biden comes to condemning the violence by Black Lives Matter, a racist domestic terrorist group which has devastated entire cities, is condemning the “lawless”. And he does it so vaguely as not to offend BLM and its supporters while giving the shopkeepers whose lifetime of work, his supporters burned to the ground, the false impression he stands with them.

Biden’s toothless condemnations of “violence” are a meaningless cowardly evasion of moral responsibility. He’ll even occasionally condemn “looting or destroying property or burning churches” without naming who’s going around looting, destroying, and burning churches.

Burning churches is a bad thing. But not so bad that Biden will name the church burners. And when Biden fails to condemn Black Lives Matter, he supports its violent riots.

Even while the media falsely claims that the riots are peaceful, the hate group’s co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi, have not been asked to condemn it. On the rare occasions when they’ve been asked about it, they’re deflected or dismissed the violence.

Ask BLM’s co-founders about the hate group’s violent riots and they’ll typically reframe the question by dismissing it as a mere issue of property and claim that they value life more. That’s despite the fact that hundreds of first responders and civilians have been wounded in the riots.

Speaking at a Penn State virtual event, Cullors described rioters as "expressing righteous rage" and suggested that society needs to avoid situations where "people feel like they have to be so desperate that they disrupt people’s businesses.” Not only didn’t the Black Lives Matter co-founder condemn her movement’s violence, she justified it, while denouncing capitalism.

Cullors, who has in the past been paid $10,000 to appear at virtual college events, is represented by CAA, the top talent agency in the country which was accused of complicity in Harvey Weinstein’s abuses, and whose clients include Tom Cruise and Robert De Niro.

She’s also the author of “When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir”, with an introduction by Angela Davis, a domestic terrorist who endorsed Biden, and an opening quote from Assata Shakur, a black nationalist cop-killer listed by the FBI as a most wanted terrorist.

That quote from the fugitive cop killer, "It is our duty to fight for our freedom" has become a BLM chant  It appears in Shakur’s biography just after she indirectly mentions the shootout that killed Trooper Werner Foerster and hails the “guerrillas” of her Black Liberation Army terrorist group.

The phrase just before the chant is, “We must gain our liberation by any means necessary”.

After the chant is a dedication to, among other black nationalist terrorists, Mark Essex, a racist killer who opened fire on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans killing, among others, a honeymooning couple. Betty Steagall was shot in the back of her head while embracing her murdered husband. Essex left a Black Liberation flag lying near the corpses of the doctor and his wife.

This is not the chant of a peaceful movement, but of a violently racist terrorist organization. And it’s been utilized by Democrats, including the Arizona Senate Democrat caucus.

“I just don’t equate the loss of life and the loss of property,” Alicia Garza, another BLM co-founder, replied, when asked about the violence. “We want to value our love of people over property.”

Not only did Garza fail to condemn the violence, she reduced it to a question of property, while reframing the violent riots as a love of people over property. Property, like violence, is an abstraction, a way to avoid confronting what happens when people are terrorized, when the small shop they’ve poured their life and dreams into goes up in flames, while BLM’s founders get tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to condemn capitalism and defend the looting.

When the National Guard was sent to Baltimore, Garza complained that the soldiers were “standing between Black people and access to resources, they are protecting property”.

"I’ll be really honest: I’m not really concerned about broken glass," Opal Tometi, the third BLM co-founder, argued. "Property can be replaced, people cannot."

Not only do all of Black Lives Matter co-founders find ways to justify the violent riots, but some local chapters, which have more control, have been more direct about supporting the violence.

After the massive outbreak of looting in Chicago, Black Lives Matter Chicago issued a press release describing looters as protesters, and claimed that the products in the stores were "hoarded" wealth. The official press release ranted that "black lives are and always will be more important than downtown corporations" and claimed that, "when protesters attack high-end retail stores that are owned by the wealthy and service the wealthy, that is not 'our' city."

Black Lives Matter Chicago organizer Ariel Atkins called the looting, “reparations", claimed that, “winning has come through riots,” and declared, "I will support the looters."

“Anything they want to take, take it,” she said.

Hawk Newsome, the Greater New York Chair of BLM, refused to condemn looting and instead claimed that America is based on looting.

“People just manifested it in different ways. Some people there just raised their fists and said 'I stand with the masses.' Other people were there to destroy things,” Newsome had said earlier of the Minneapolis BLM riots.

Melina Abdullah, the lead organizer of Black Lives Matter in Los Angeles, whose chapter has collaborated with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, had its rally lead to multiple attacks on Jewish synagogues and businesses complete with antisemitic chants and graffiti.

Before the rioting began, her daughter, and the co-founder of the BLM Youth Vanguard, ranted, “I know you want to tear some s___ up... if you want to set some corporations on fire, you know what? I don’t care about Target burning. I don’t care that capitalism burns. I don’t care that white people in their f____ office buildings are upset."

Abdullah, like her hate group’s co-founders, dismissed the rioting. “The looting is not as violent as the police violence that is the source of the protesting. Focusing on broken windows is a deliberate decision.”

Much like Kristalnacht.

The media has repeatedly mischaracterized Black Lives Matter riots as “mostly peaceful” as long as there is a prologue during which the racists at the rally chant slogans before the violence begins. This is a fundamental distortion of the truth. A peaceful march ends peacefully. A violent rally ends violently. A mostly peaceful march is really a violent riot.

Would you go out and meet someone if they told you it would be a mostly peaceful encounter?

A peaceful event has to be peaceful all the time. Or it’s violent. A mostly peaceful event is like a mostly non-toxic toothpaste, a mostly safe ladder, or a mostly solid bridge. Mostly counts when it comes to statistics, not when it comes to harm and danger. Most serial killers were mostly peaceful. They spent less than 1% of their time hunting and killing their victims.

That’s not what peaceful means. Like Biden’s condemnations of violence, it’s an evasion.

Nobody in the media bothers to ask or discuss whether the Black Lives Matter philosophy and ideology is peaceful. That’s because there’s a large body of evidence that shows it isn’t. Instead the media nods along as BLM leaders pull the same tired old trick of reframing their movement’s violence as an affirmation of the value of black lives and reduce their victims to “property”.

Black Lives Matter violence springs directly from the violent ideology of black nationalism. The movement’s leaders make no secret of drawing their inspiration from domestic terrorists like Assata Shakur and Angela Davis. Democrats and their media choose to ignore these facts.

After the poll numbers turned against both Black Lives Matter violence and the movement, Joe Biden began condemning the violence, as if it exists apart from its perpetrators, without condemning the violent movement whose rioters were carrying out the violence.

Anyone can condemn an abstract evil. The challenge is condemning the perpetrators.

Joe Biden refuses to condemn Black Lives Matter. He can’t. They’re part of his base. While Americans are increasingly turning against the racist hate group, Democrats still back it. After months of rioting, support for Black Lives Matter has dropped 12% among Americans, but only 4% among Democrats, 92% of whom still support the violent black nationalist movement.

And so Joe’s trying to have it both ways. He’s condemning the violence while allying with the violent. He won’t disavow BLM or his endorsement from Angela Davis, while claiming to oppose violence. He’s refusing to condemn the perpetrators, while condemning the outcome.

That’s as worthless as his career and his candidacy.

If you support the violent, you support the violence. If your campaign and your veep help fund bail for a group bailing out rioters and an attempted cop-killer, you can’t claim, as Biden does, to oppose violence “across the board”. Until Biden publicly breaks with the Black Lives Matter movement and condemns its violence by name, he’s complicit in every burned store, every wounded cop, every terrorized child, every lost job, and every broken American city.

 

Biden Declares He is the Democratic Party. This is Their Gun Ban Plan

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Former Vice President Joe Biden is the captain now.

“The party is me,” Biden said during the presidential debate. “Right now, I am the Democratic Party. I am the Democratic Party right now.”

The debate didn’t touch on gun control. Amidst the arguing and speaking over one another, the candidates touched on Supreme Court nominees, law enforcement, riots, and looting. The topic of gun rights or gun control wasn’t addressed. The former vice president, though, told the American public exactly where he is on gun control when he uttered that phrase. He wants more of it. Lots more.

The Democratic Party adopted the Biden-Harris platform at their convention earlier this year that laid out their plans to enact unprecedented gun control. It’s a ban plan, an elimination plan, and a watchlist plan that will strip law-abiding Americans of their God-given rights and do nothing to address crime reduction.

Ban Plan

“Democrats will ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines,” their plan reads. The party maligns the modern sporting rifle by attempting to equate it with an automatic firearm used by the military. What they want to ban are semiautomatic firearms simply over cosmetic features and make technology that is more than 100 years old illegal. They would ban the manufacture and sale the most popular-selling centerfire rifle on the market today.

Elimination Plan

The Biden-Harris plan would eliminate “online sales of guns and ammunition” denying Americans the ability to shop online and purchase firearms, which can only be transferred by the retailer to the customer in a face-to-face transaction after a mandatory FBI background check. That background check, too, would be required for every transfer of a firearm. Biden’s plan would criminalize private firearm transfers, whether that be a sale, a father handing a shotgun down to his child, sisters lending their handgun to one another, or lifelong friends swapping guns as collectibles. That right would be eliminated, and worse, criminalized.

Watchlist Plan

That’s not all Biden wants. His plan to enact universal background checks would create registries that would put innocent Americans on government watchlists. That’s a regulation that is barred by federal law, but they’ve got a plan for that. He would force states to create a licensing scheme for firearm ownership and Americans would be forced to pay a fee to exercise a right. Illinois gives insight to the calamity that awaits. Illinois has among the strictest gun control laws, but the Firearms Owner Identification (FOID) Card system is a train wreck. The state has a backlog of more than three months and more than 135,000 applications to process a card to allow citizens to exercise their rights.

Biden proposes to go further and mandate how a firearm is stored in the home. Biden disregards the U.S. Supreme Court struck such a requirement in the landmark 2008 Heller decision. The opinion written by the late Justice Antonin Scalia did more than affirm the Second Amendment is an individual right. That decision also struck down the District of Columbia’s law that a firearm must be kept in the home with a trigger lock as unconstitutional.

This is the ship that Biden is piloting. The ship has no rudder. U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said the party would drift further left if Biden is elected. Biden is putting his party on a collision course with the Constitution, the Supreme Court, and voters. Biden is the captain now.

A Minnesota family whose garage and vehicles were destroyed by a massive fire claims they were targeted by arsonists over their Trump 2020 flags.

The incident happened in Brooklyn Center during the early hours of Wednesday last week, when homeowner Denis Molla says he heard an explosion.

“I heard just a big, loud boom, or a bang,” Denis told local media outlet WCCO. “The first thing for me was my kids, my wife. What’s going on?”

The destruction was extensive, with the flames consuming most of the family’s detached three-car garage and a trailer, and destroying the Mollas’ three vehicles.

“Two 3 x 5 Trump flags were on the trailer and truck,” reports WCCO.

Graffiti scribbled on the family’s garage stated, “Biden 2020,” “BLM,” and the anarchy “A” symbol, leading the family to believe the arson attack was a political hit job.

Denis also claimed he saw three people running from the home.

According to the family, their flags received a lot of unwanted attention since they recently purchased them.

Denis reportedly “had a dispute at a work site over his support for the president,” reports WCCO. “Since they have had the flags up, they say people have been driving by their house very slowly, some taking pictures.”

“Our family’s safe, that’s the main thing. All this is material, it’s all material. It’s not as important as our family,” Denis reasoned.

The incident was described as a “suspicious garage fire” in a press release from the Brooklyn Center Police Department.

“This fire is considered suspicious and our investigation remains extremely active,” Brooklyn Center police wrote in a statement. “The home occupants had a fairly large ‘Trump 2020’ sign that was destroyed, and our officers observed what appeared to be fresh spray paint on the garage before it burned down.”

The department is offering a $5,000 award for anyone who has information that can lead to the arrest of the individuals responsible.

Brooklyn Center is a suburb of Minneapolis, where BLM/Antifa riots damaged over 1,500 businesses, many of them completely destroyed, earlier this year following protests over the death of George Floyd.

Just before 4:00 am, Brooklyn Center police officers and firefighters were dispatched to the report of an explosion and fire in the area of 69th Ave N and Morgan Ave N in Brooklyn Center. Officers located a fire at a residence in the 6900 block of Morgan Ave N. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, but not before a detached three car garage and three vehicles were destroyed. There was minor damage to the house. There were no injuries during this incident. Officers and firefighters were able to save the three dogs in kennels and four puppies located in the garage.* This fire is considered suspicious and our investigation remains extremely active. The home occupants had a fairly large “Trump 2020” sign that was destroyed, and our officers observed what appeared to be fresh spray paint on the garage before it burned down. The spray paint included “Biden 2020”, “BLM” and capital letter “A” with a circle around it.

Our Brooklyn Center Police and Fire Departments were, and continue to be, assisted by the following: North Memorial Ambulance, Hennepin County Crime Lab, Hennepin County Fire Investigation Team, MN State Fire Marshall Office, ATF, and FBI.

Though Kamala Harris was born in the United States, because neither of her parents were American citizens, she is not qualified to be president under the Constitution.

With Joe Biden’s apparent substantial setbacks in his cognitive capacity and his advanced age, Kamala Harris is in a more-likely-than-usual position to assume the office of president. Yet Kamala Harris is constitutionally ineligible to be president of the United States because she is not a natural born citizen, as required by Article II (and, by reference, the 12th Amendment) of the U.S. Constitution.

While born in the United States — Oakland, California — at the time of her birth, Kamala Harris’ father was a citizen of Jamaica and her mother was a citizen of India. This makes Kamala Harris a native-born American — thus eligible to serve as a U.S. senator — but she is not a natural born citizen, the higher standard set for those occupying the office of president.

The Founders’ standard is important to follow because preventing constitutionally unqualified candidates from usurping power is of critical concern to every American and every man and woman whose life and liberty could be taken by the person with his — or her — finger on the button.

The Constitution does not define natural born citizenship, neither has the Supreme Court or Congress. The term “natural born citizen” comes from the English concept of “natural born subject,” which came from Calvin’s Case, a 1608 decision.

Natural born subjects were those who owed allegiance to the king at birth under the “law of nature.” The court concluded that under natural law, certain people owed duties to the king, and were entitled to his protection, even in the absence of a law passed by Parliament.

Let’s explore the possible sources and appropriate interpretations of the “natural born citizen” qualification.

At the time of the drafting of the Constitution, a person born subject to the British Crown could hold “double allegiance,” a concept similar to “dual citizenship” as understood today.

Our own Founding Fathers, nearly every one of whom was born in some outpost of the British Empire, feared the damage that could come from such divided loyalty. They instituted the “natural born citizen” qualification in order to avoid what Gouverneur Morris described during the Constitutional Convention as “the danger of admitting strangers into our public councils.”

As famed jurist of the early Republic St. George Tucker, a contemporary of Morris, explained:

That provision in the constitution which requires that the president shall be a native-born citizen (unless he were a citizen of the United States when the constitution was adopted) is a happy means of security against foreign influence, which, wherever it is capable of being exerted, is to be dreaded more than the plague. The admission of foreigners into our councils, consequently, cannot be too much guarded against; their total exclusion from a station to which foreign nations have been accustomed to attach ideas of sovereign power, sacredness of character, and hereditary right, is a measure of the most consummate policy and wisdom.

The very source of the “natural born citizen” standard is known to us today. The Swiss jurist Emer de Vattel defined that term in his seminal book The Law of Nations, published in 1758 and which, according to Benjamin Franklin, “had been continually in the hands of the members of our Congress.” 

Book I, Chapter 19, Section 212 of The Law of Nations reads:

Natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see, whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country. [Emphasis added.]

De Vattel’s definition of “natural born citizen” and the benefits derived from distinguishing between “natural born citizens” and “citizens” were well known to our Founding Fathers and, in fact, the very name of that high standard was copied verbatim by them into Article II of the U.S. Constitution wherein the qualifications for president of the United States are set out.

To see that such a qualification was universally agreed to by the delegates at the Constitutional Convention of 1787, one need only look to the record of that convention and note that the requirement that the president be a “natural born citizen” was mentioned only twice and was agreed to “nem. con.,” a contraction of a Latin legal phrase meaning “without opposition.”

As indicated in early records of the naturalization process, men applying for American citizenship were required to make two renunciations of all fealty to foreign powers before swearing allegiance to the Republic of the United States.

As a matter of fact, the possibility of any legal acceptance of divided allegiance was explicitly rejected in a report issued by the House of Representatives in 1874: “The United States have not recognized a ‘double allegiance.’ By our law a citizen is bound to be ‘true and faithful’ alone to our government.”

The practical effect of that proclamation is that in order to be a “natural born citizen” of the United States, one would have to be free from a competing claim for allegiance from another nation.

That such a schizophrenic situation was not only anticipated but accepted by His Majesty’s government during the time of the American founding can be inferred from the impressment of American sailors into the service of the Crown. During the War for Independence, British ships would block American ships from sailing, and then the seamen on the British vessels would board the American ships and force the Americans to serve the side of the Empire.

The insistence on the part of the British that anyone born within the realm was a British subject regardless of any voluntary severance thereof and one’s subsequent vow of allegiance to another was a significant factor in the hostilities known as the War of 1812. 

Finally, in this regard, the British required no process of naturalization as such. Simply being born within the dominions of the monarchy of Great Britain was sufficient to endow one with the rights and privileges granted to any British subject. Nothing such a person did later in life (including becoming a citizen of another country) would ever alter his status as a subject.

Obviously, in the United States that concept is not the law now, nor was it the law at the time of the founding. Quite the opposite, in fact.

One of the scholars frequently cited in articles on the subject of the definition of “natural born citizen” is Temple University law professor Peter Spiro.

Spiro often cites the 14th Amendment to the Constitution as further evidence that, although born outside the United States to a foreign father, recent presidential candidates — including Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio — fit the 14th Amendment’s definition of a natural born citizen. 

The relevant clause of the 14th Amendment reads: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the States wherein they reside.”

However, the principal architect of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment was Michigan Senator Jacob Merritt Howard, a Republican from Detroit. 

Senator Howard crafted much of the language that was eventually ratified as part of the 14th Amendment.

During the debates that embroiled the Senate in the years following the Civil War, Senator Howard insisted that the qualifying phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” be inserted into Section 1 of the 14th Amendment being considered by his colleagues. In the speech with which he proposed the alteration, Howard declared:

This amendment which I have offered is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, [or] who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.

How could a person “born in the United States” be simultaneously a citizen and a “foreigner” or “alien” if the mere fact of nativity settled the question of citizenship?

Another legislator commenting at the time of the ratification of the 14th Amendment, Representative John Bingham, provided the following clarification of the meaning behind the “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” clause: “Every human being born within the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.” (Emphasis added.)

While similar questions have been raised regarding the Article II eligibility of Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) who ran for president in 2000 and in 2008, and Mitt Romney, who ran in 2008 and 2012, the case of those two men is distinct from that of Kamala Harris.

Both McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone to an American father serving overseas in the military, and Romney, whose father was born in Mexico to American parents, pass constitutional muster.

However, in the case of Senator Kamala Harris, the principles of constitutional law and interpretation set forth above call into question her eligibility for president. 

There is no reasonable or legal doubt that at the time of her birth (regardless of the location), Harris’ father was not an American citizen — and thus, should she assume the office of the president, the president would be the child of a person with legal allegiance to a foreign sovereignty. She would not conform to the accepted legal, constitutional, and historical definition of “natural born citizen,” and thus Kamala Harris could not serve as vice president.

Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden trashed Americans as intolerant and smeared a duly-elected President during the terror-tied Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) annual convention earlier this month.

ISNA, like the HAMAS-Linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial. Founded by Muslim Brotherhood members, ISNA in Canada was “stripped of their charity status” in 2018 and “fined for financing Terrorists,” as reported by RAIR’s Amy Mek.

Joe Biden shared his platform with radical antisemitic Muslims who have aligned with the militant left such as Zahra BillooLinda SarsourYasir Qadhi and Hatem Bazian. The promotional material for the ISNA Conference could easily pass for any communist convention, complete with the commie fist and calls for “social and racial justice.”

Speaking during “Session 5A,” titled “20/20 Vision On Racism,” Biden laughably claimed that “Muslim Americans are under constant attack by President Trump and his Administration.” Further, he inartfully stated:

“Muslim communities were the first to feel President Trump’s assault on black and brown communities in this country with a vile Muslim ban.”

The tedious Biden seems to forget that Islam is not a race, and there was never a “Muslim ban.” Aside perhaps from his introduction, Biden’s entire address was an incoherent pandering fabrication.

“We’ve seen what comes from policies and rhetoric that fan the flames of hate in our country,” Biden continued. “A rise in Islamophobia, many incidences, kids being bullied in school, hate crimes on the march,” he said. Biden further declared:

“We are facing multiple crises – crises that under Donald Trump, are multiplying.”

Some of the “multiple crises” that are “multiplying,” Biden says, are:

“Covid. Economic devastation. Unwarranted police violence. Emboldened white nationalists. Long overdue national reckoning about the way our country has treated black and brown and native Americans.”

The former Vice President pandered: “I know Muslim Americans feel it too, especially black Muslims. And a declining faith in the bright American future.” Biden continues: “The common thread? An incumbent president who makes things worse, not better.”

Joe Biden made it clear that if elected, he and Vice President Kamala Harris “will work in partnership” with Muslim Americans, who he will have “serving at every level.” He assured, incoherently, “My word is a Biden.”

In July, Biden addressed the Million Muslim Voters Summit, whose goal is to “turn out one million Muslim voters for the 2020 presidential elections.” The organization is a project of Emgage, which was “founded by and is led by Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas operatives.”

At best, Biden was engaged in uniformed, severe pandering. At worst, the democratic nominee knows exactly what he is doing.

SATANISTS & WITCHES FOR BIDEN

“I don’t know how they’ll react to getting an offer of help from Satan.”

Like all progressive groups, The Satanic Temple came out in support of Black Lives Matter.

The Satanic Temple, which distinguishes itself from its rival, The Church of Satan, through its rigorously progressive politics while accusing The Church of Satan of libertarianism, put out a statement by co-founder Lucien Greaves that blasted President Trump and accused the police of randomly killing black people that could have come from any random leftist organization.

"I watched with dismay as, in reaction to the election of Donald Trump, the least qualified, least dignified, least competent president in all of U.S. history," complained Greaves, whose real name is Douglas Mesner, and who has been known to pose wearing goat horns on his head.

Steve Hill ran in a Democrat State Senate primary as the first Satanist to seek public office. While he lost, the Satanist and Bernie Sanders supporter was able to secure over 10,000 votes from California Democrats. Since then, Hill has participated in a Black Lives Matter rally and one comment noted the “solidarity between Black Lives Matter and Satanists.” 

Hill had mentioned reaching out to the Sanders campaign, but was cautious, noting, “I don’t know how they’ll react to getting an offer of help from Satan.”

While the Sanders campaign's response remains unclear, the American Humanist Association’s Freethought Equality Fund PAC did back Hill alongside establishment Democrat figures like Rep. Hank Johnson, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, and Rep. Pramila Jayapal. None of them were asked by the media how they felt about the backing of a PAC that was also supporting a Satanist.

The PAC described Hill as an atheist, it neglected to mention the Satanist part.

But The Satanic Temple has two faces. The Temple gleefully brandishes Satanic iconography and provokes people of faith, while its co-founders also run the Reason Alliance which cultivates a secular humanistic brand. At the Satanic Temple, its co-founder goes by Lucien Greaves, while at the Reason Alliance, he goes by Douglas Mesner, a Harvard alumnus.

That’s what allows a Satanist to be endorsed by a mainstream Democrat PAC.

While Republicans have been asked to disavow fringe candidates who run on their party line, Democrats haven’t been asked to disavow Hill or the political support of Satanists.

Even when they threaten violence.

“We are going to disrupt, distort, destroy," Jex Blackmore, the former national spokeswoman for the Satanic Temple, declared while surrounded by pig's heads. "We are going to storm press conferences, kidnap an executive, release snakes in the governor’s mansion, execute the president.”

After the video went viral, Blackmore was asked to step down with Greaves insisting that the organization, which has waged a long legal battle to claim that killing babies through abortion is a religiously protected Satanic ritual, is non-violent.

“When we say that somebody was removed for threatening execution on the president, that’s not to say that anybody in our group would cry if Trump died from choking on a ham sandwich tomorrow,” Greaves pointed out.

Mainstream Democrats have been quietly interacting with the group under its various guises.

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico, formerly a potential Biden VP pick, followed and interacted with Greg Stevens, also known as Priest Penemue, The Satanic Temple's Director of Ministry.

While The Satanic Temple may be an extreme example, a recent Pew survey found that after the Obama administration a majority of white Democrats identified as non-Christian. The Satanic Temple’s melding of radical leftist politics with paganism may be the wave of the future.

In 2017, thousands of Wiccans or Witches announced that they were casting a mass spell against President Trump. Michael M. Hughes, who takes credit for the spell, went on to write, "Magic for the Resistance: Rituals and Spells for Change" which includes chapters like “Hex the NRA” and “WITCH: Women's International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell”.

It's one of a number of similar books like David Salisbury's “Witchcraft Activism: A Toolkit for Magical Resistance (Includes Spells for Social Justice, Civil Rights, the Environment, and More)” and Laura Tempest's, “The New Aradia: A Witch’s Handbook to Magical Resistance.”

The mixture of paganism and politics is active on Instagram with the Magic Resistance whose members burn photos of President Trump while reciting incantations.

Unlike conservatives, they have not been censored.

"Trump's Presidency Has Spawned a New Generation of Witches," Wired claimed.

“Within hours of Trump being declared president, our membership numbers really spiked," Lucian Greaves of The Satanic Temple has insisted.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome wave that mainstreamed extremist organizations like Black Lives Matter and Antifa among Democrats also benefited Satanists and Witches. The Democrats had made hostility to President Trump into their only core principle. And any pagan idea, no matter how extreme, became more acceptable as long as it was anti-Trump.

While some of the most public Satanists and Witches try to have it both ways, posing with horns and skulls, and then claiming that they’re trolling religious believers, it goes deeper than that.

In a conversation between Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors and BLM LA's chapter co-founder Melinda Abdullah, whose hate rally was linked to vandalism against synagogues in the area, the two appeared to discuss summoning spirits.

“You kind of invoke that spirit, and then their spirits actually become present with you,” Abdullah said.

“Each of them seems to have a different presence and personality," Cullors mentioned.

“We’ve become very intimate with the spirits that we call on regularly,” Abdullah claimed. “Each of them seems to have a different presence and personality."

While it’s easy to dismiss such behaviors as marginal, Hillary Clinton had held a seance in the White House to summon the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt.

The seance was overseen by New Age author Jean Houston who had been invited by Hillary along with Marianne Williamson. Williamson, who went on to run for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2020, allegedly participated in the seances and stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom.

It’s hard to describe something as fringe when it’s standing on the DNC debate stage.

Williamson was cheered on by an "occult task force" and the Washington Post reported that "a group of 13 chaos magicians, witches and energy workers were performing synchronized 'gestures' to help Williamson get airtime at Tuesday’s debate".

To what extent are these private beliefs making their way into the government?

One of the more bizarre stories of Harry Reid's tenure heading up Senate Democrats was the $22 million he had earmarked for UFO research.

UFO's have been an obsession of Democrats with Jimmy Carter claiming to have seen one. 58% of Democrats believe in UFOs. That was why Hillary Clinton and her campaign chair, John Podesta, ran for office by promising to reveal the truth about them, generating headlines like, “Hillary Clinton Gives U.F.O. Buffs Hope She Will Open the X-Files.”

But Reid's millions were being spent not just on UFOs, but studying, "bizarre creatures, poltergeist activity, invisible entities, orbs of light". The research touched on claims of possession and psychic powers, crossing the realm from NASA to the supernatural.

Satanists, Witches, and UFOs are the natural preoccupations of a political movement that is losing its religion and filling the gap with political radicalism and primitive belief systems. It isn’t reason that replaces religion, but the primordial superstitions that religion cleared away.

The decline in faith among Democrat political elites leads to chanting spells, sacrificing goats, and watching the skies for the mystical revelations gathered from comic books and TV.

Democrats claim that they believe in science. But their idea of science is radical ideology and personal mysticism. A poll found 43% of liberals believed that astrology was scientific. 35% of Democrats claim to have experienced the paranormal and 69% of Democrats believe in ghosts.

No wonder that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s office worked with astrologers.

45% of Democrats believe in God: 39% believe in some other power or spiritual force. That’s why there are seances, spells, sacrifices, and trips to haunted houses and UFO landing sites.

America is still a free country, and people are entitled to believe whatever they like. But Democrats, radicals, and their media mouthpieces routinely present this as a clash of worldviews between superstitious religious believers “clinging to their bibles” and the rational proponents of reason with PhDs who “follow the science”, when it’s really a clash between traditional religious believers and radicals who believe they have supernatural powers.

Democrats like Biden strive to build an image of normalcy. Just don’t look too closely at the Satanists, Witches, and Astrologers, not to mention ghost and UFO hunters, behind the curtain.

Following the manufactured crisis of the leaked audio between President Trump and Bob Woodward, Joe Biden’s social media team had to take a swipe. However, the intern that is running the account decided to blast out some truly mockable posts. If you have been sentient for more than a decade, you may laugh out loud:

We certainly do. The reader must assume that the implication is that Joe Biden is as honest as Abe and will never tell a lie. Once you make that connection, you should collapse into hysterical laughter. The aging septuagenarian has a long history of whoppers. In fact, one cost him the nomination previously.

One has to wonder how many people have or will have to suffer because of Biden’s lies. Here is a quick list of some of the more egregious examples of Biden’s casual relationship with the truth.

1. Biden’s College Years

During a campaign stop in April of 1987, a member of the audience asked him about his academic record. Here is the press coverage from the time:

Note the final comment after Biden had to concede that the account he gave was not correct. He said his memory had failed him. This event was thirty-three years ago, and shortly before he underwent the first of two brain surgeries for a ruptured aneurysm.

2. Biden’s Plagiarism Problem

Biden was forced to drop out of the 1988 race following accusations of plagiarism. Under scrutiny, he had to admit he had a history of using other people’s work. From The Washington Post:

The collapse had begun 11 days earlier, with news that Biden had lifted phrases and mannerisms from a British Labour Party politician while making closing remarks at a debate. Examples soon surfaced of Biden using material from other politicians without attribution, and he acknowledged he had been accused of plagiarism in law school. To make matters worse, a video emerged of Biden exaggerating his academic record while speaking angrily to a voter in New Hampshire.

“I made some mistakes,” Biden, then a U.S. senator, told the press as he announced the end of his candidacy, in a speech that was by turns regretful and defiant. “But now, the exaggerated shadow of those mistakes has begun to obscure the essence of my candidacy and the essence of Joe Biden.”

Notice, it was other people exaggerating his lying and using the work of others that was the problem. Not the fact that he made things up out of whole cloth. Joe Biden dropped out of his last presidential race because he was a liar. But now he’ll be the president who doesn’t lie. M’kay.

In this campaign, his team has lifted a slogan and climate plan directly from the United Nations, and much his latest economic and COVID policies sound eerily like President Trump’s.

3. The Bidens’ Love Story

Joe and his wife, Jill, are fond of telling the story of their romance. However, the information has varied over time. In one, Biden’s brother, Frank, fixes them up after Joe sees Jill’s picture in an ad at the airport. In another, they are fixed up on a blind date, and Joe had no idea who he was meeting until he picked her up.

Jill’s ex-husband tells a very different story. Bill Stevenson alleges he and Jill worked on Biden’s first campaign for the Senate in 1972 before Biden’s wife died in a car crash. He says he considered Biden a friend.

Stevenson owned the Steel Balloon, which hosted high-profile rock bands. He first became suspicious when Jill had the opportunity to meet Bruce Springsteen and declined because she was going to take care of Biden’s young sons, Beau and Hunter, after their mother’s death.

He believes Biden and Jill began an affair at some point after Neilia Biden’s death, which was confirmed to him in October of 1974 when Biden and Jill were allegedly in a fender-bender in Jill’s car. At that point, Stevenson asked Jill to leave, and she did.

Stevenson was listed as one of the top 50 most influential men in the last 50 years in Delaware, along with Biden on a 2012 list. He is an entrepreneur and businessman who recently sold a product to Scotts Miracle-Gro. It doesn’t seem like he’s telling tales for a payday, and the Biden’s have not commented.

4. Biden’s Tragic Loss

Joe Biden’s wife Neilia and one-year-old daughter Naomi were killed in an auto accident after Biden won his Senate seat, but before he was sworn in. This loss in and of itself was tragic. Indeed, a story that needed no embellishment. But Biden can’t resist.

“A tractor-trailer, a guy who allegedly — and I never pursued it — drank his lunch instead of eating his lunch, broadsided my family and killed my wife instantly and killed my daughter instantly and hospitalized my two sons,” Mr. Biden said in 2007.

In a 2001 speech at the University of Delaware, he referred to an “errant driver who stopped to drink instead of drive” and “hit my children and my wife and killed them,” according to a 2008 report in NewsBusters, citing a 2001 “Inside Edition” report.

According to the investigator on the case:

Now-retired Delaware Superior Court Judge Jerome O. Herlihy, who oversaw the investigation as chief deputy attorney general, told Politico, “She had a stop sign. The truck driver did not.”

In 2008, he told the Post that rumors about alcohol playing a role in the accident were “incorrect.”

The driver’s daughter says Biden called and apologized for these statements. However, one has to wonder why he started making them thirty years after the fact.

5. Where’s Hunter?

While the scandal-ridden son did appear at the DNC, it was mostly to give a brief speech about how great his dad is and give an introduction to a memorial video for his deceased brother Beau. Neither Joe Biden nor his son has been honest about their dealings in Ukraine and China. At least Hunter was honest enough to say a lot of things have come his way because of his last name. The real question is how many things were given in exchange for those opportunities.

The graft of the Biden family is extensive enough that it takes up 44 scrupulously sourced pages in Peter Schweizer’s book Profiles in Corruption. It also takes up countless articles and podcasts from the likes of John Solomon, Sara Carter, Greg Jarrett, and Dan Bongino.

Biden says he didn’t know about his son’s business deals. This assertion is beyond parody given the number of photos and meetings that have been disclosed of Biden with Hunter’s business associates and the documented meetings and communications.  The nominee is rarely asked about these issues and typically evades them.

6. Biden’s Mask Is Ripped Off

When Joe Biden was asked about the rash of unusual unmaskings of Trump’s incoming national security advisor, General Michael Flynn, and the investigation that was launched, he initially said he knew nothing about it. Later his name showed up on the declassified list of unmasking requests related to Flynn. Even more damning, according to declassified extemporaneous notes taken by Peter Strozk, Biden was at a critical meeting where the investigation into Flynn was discussed and was the person who suggested Flynn be investigated under the Logan Act.

7. To Frack or Not to Frack?

Biden could not have been more explicit in the primary debates and policy proposals. To reduce carbon emissions and save Gaia, he was going to end new fracking permits and prohibit the practice on federal land. In fact, when he was asked if he was willing to sacrifice thousands of jobs in the oil and gas industry for his green policies, he said yes. Here is a montage of his primary promises.

Because Pennsylvania is a must-win state for him and industries related to fracking are influential there, Biden made a trip and reversed himself. Did he lie to AOC and the radical left, or is he lying to union workers in Pennsylvania? One will cost him enthusiasm; the other will cost him votes.

8. Biden’s Voting Record

Biden was a sponsor of the 1994 crime bill he now runs away from. It is his single biggest legislative accomplishment and one the Obama administration never sought to remedy despite the sentencing disparities it caused. There is so much in this video that Biden has run away from—especially regarding racial oppression and economic disadvantage—that it is wildly funny. Will the real Joe Biden please stand up?

Nobody Knows Joe
This list is by no means comprehensive. Biden suddenly says he will bolster manufacturing in America while telling Jake Tapper we want China to grow. Yes, he actually said we want our biggest ideological and economic foe to grow. The primary vehicle for China’s growth is American investment. He has also said he will take on some elements of the Sanders/Warren economic demands, like making the U.S. Postal Service capable of making small loans. His team assured the banking industry that this is never going to happen.

The simple truth is that Joe Biden lied about his own life story when there was no reason to. It should make you question the emergence of the “stutter” story this cycle. He has been lying about his record as well as his own stated policies during the campaign. Kamala Harris was no better during the primary. The gall of his campaign to accuse anyone of lying is pretty astonishing. Lying is the reason he failed to become president before. It should prevent him from ascending to the highest office in the land again.

 

SOUTHERN BAPTIST PASTORS TO RELEASE JOINT STATEMENT ENDORSING PRO-ABORTION, PRO-LGBT, “TRUE CHRISTIAN” JOE BIDEN

David Bumgardner describes himself as a “21-year-old student, theologian-in-training, preacher, and content-creator” who is a regular on several podcasts and radio shows, a speaker, and serves as a Pastoral Intern at Faith Memorial Baptist Church in Archer City, Texas.

Bumgardner, according to his Facebook page, is a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a prominent Southern Baptist seminary that, like most Southern Baptist entities, has been given over to unbiblical thinking and “woke” theology.

Unsurprisingly, Bumgardner, like many Southern Baptist pastors and students, has also made a sharp turn to the left and bought into the false narrative that the current president, Donald Trump, is some kind of egotistic white supremacist that, for whatever reason, needs to be removed from office at all costs — even at the expense of innocent lives, religious freedom, and the right to live out a Christian worldview.

The implications are far more than political, they are theological. The line of reasoning that Bumgardner employs stems from a vastly deficient and sub-biblical epistemology and worldview.

“Very soon I, along with trusted and respected evangelical ministers and leaders, will be releasing a joint evangelical declaration outlining the case for #BidenHarris2020,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“I believe Donald Trump is a threat to the flourishing of my neighbors,” he continued, “I believe he is a threat to national security. I believe he is a threat to national unity. I believe he is stoking the fires of civil and racial unrest. I believe his hypocrisy is palpable and manifest. I believe he is a blasphemer who does not care about evangelicals.”

Apparently, however, he believes that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are not? Maybe. I don’t know. He sounds foolish, though.

“I believe Republicans have failed to introduce any meaningful legislation to reduce the number of abortions performed in the Unites States,” he continued, as though he actually believes what he’s writing here. And even if it were true, it’s not the point.

He continues, “I believe single-issue voting is an abdication of civic duty.”

The argument of “single-issue voting” is massively uninformed, at best. It is completely absurd. While the killing of innocent children is certainly at the top of the priority list for many — and rightfully so — there is absolutely nothing that the Democrats endorse on their platform that a biblically-minded Christian could endorse. Nothing. We’re talking not just about abortion, but religious freedom, freedom of speech, theft and wealth redistribution, lawlessness and open borders, anti-police sentiment, the advancement of LGBTQ indoctrination and the promotion of sexual anarchy, and the list goes on. This is who Bumgardner says he and his “Evangelical” friends will be officially endorsing.

“I am voting for Joe Biden because he is the *true* “Christian option” in this election,” he says. He then goes on to try to neutralize his opponents by saying that he will not question the salvation of those who disagree with him and implies that it would be foolish to “deride” him for his decision by citing Proverbs 18:13.

Yet, the Scriptures tell us that we will know them by their fruits — and it is clear that his fruits are in opposition to the biblical teachings on priorities. Therefore, it is Bumgardner who is foolish, and we have every right — and duty — to judge him for it (1 Corinthians 5:12). It would be foolish not to.

If someone who claims to be a Christian and has studied the Bible for a considerable amount of time actually believes this way, there is no way around it; this person has not been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and has no business preaching or leading a church.

The miraculous gifts recorded and described in the New Testament did not cease at the end of the apostolic era. While the apostolic office is closed, God the Holy Spirit continues to sovereignly dispense spiritual gifts (including those we may classify as “miraculous”) for the edification of the local assembly of believers, the furtherance of the Kingdom, and the vindication of the Gospel believers boldly proclaim. Believers should earnestly desire and pursue the spiritual gifts; they should seek to practice their gifts in the gathered assembly in an orderly and edifying manner while submitting to the pastor/elders God has placed over them.

UNITED STATES, August 12, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Pro-abortion former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has released another campaign video touting his supposed Catholic faith and friendship with Pope Francis.

The short video released last week shows Biden and Pope Francis smiling and greeting each other, while a voiceover of Biden speaks about an occasion when the two men met at the Vatican.

Biden goes on to praise Pope Francis and identify his presidential campaign with the values displayed in Francis’ pontificate.

Biden says that he met a group of nuns after leaving his meeting with Pope Francis. To Biden, the nuns “epitomize everything Pope Francis talked about in his homily and what he stands for.”

Biden identified what Pope Francis stands for as “generosity to other people,” “reaching out,” and “making it a point to understand that we are our brother’s keeper.”

“We are our brother’s keeper,” Biden says. “We have an obligation. I think that’s the way, the only way, we’re going to make the world better and safer.”

Last month, Biden promised if elected president, he will reinstate the Obama administration’s birth control mandate forcing Catholic nuns to participate in the provision of contraception.

Earlier this year Biden released another campaign video featuring Pope Francis in which Biden says that he goes to Mass and says the rosary and that faith is what has helped him through the most difficult moments in his life.

Biden has made taxpayer-funded abortion on demand and enshrining into lawthe many demands of the LGBT lobby a key part of his 2020 presidential platform. 

He has said that if he wins the election, he will direct the Justice Department to “do everything in its power” to block state laws that place any restriction on abortion, including parental notification requirements, ultrasound laws, and waiting periods.

After the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis, when restrictions were placed on various medical services, Biden said abortion is an “essential health care service” and that it is necessary “to ensure that women have access to all health services during this crisis.”

In June Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest abortion business, endorsed Biden for president and later that month Biden affirmed his support of abortion “under any circumstance.” Last month, Biden promised to restore domestic and overseas funding to the abortion industry, and undo the Trump administration’s efforts not to finance abortions with federal money. Yesterday he announcedvehemently pro-abortion Sen. Kamala Harris of California as his partner on the Democrat presidential ticket.

During her time as Attorney General of California, Harris played a key role in defending Planned Parenthood over its sale of aborted baby parts (which violated multiple federal laws, according to undercover video of abortion industry personnel). Most of the footage was taken in California, yet Harris announcedshe would investigate the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) journalists rather than Planned Parenthood, and went on to raid the home of CMP head David Daleiden while accepting the abortion giant’s donations for her Senate run. 

“By selecting a running mate who is staunchly pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty, Joe Biden has once again made it clear that his self-styled ‘Catholic identity’ is something which can be cast aside whenever it's politically expedient,” commented Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote. “Like Joe Biden himself, Kamala Harris favors radical abortion policies including late-term abortion paid for by taxpayers, as well as forcing Catholic religious orders like the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide abortion drugs in their healthcare plans.”

Burch added, “In November 2018, Harris ruthlessly criticized Brian Buescher, a Catholic federal district court nominee from Nebraska, about his affiliation with the Knights of Columbus. It is clear that a Biden-Harris ticket threatens the values Catholics in this country hold most dear.”

Earlier this year, Biden said on social media that “transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time.”

As vice president, the first “wedding” Biden officiated was between two men.

Last month several well-known U.S. Catholics priests said that because of Biden’s pro-abortion stance and LGBT activism that Catholics cannot support him.

But last year, Biden told a PBS interviewer that Pope Francis gives him Communion, after a Catholic priest followed Church law and denied him Communion because of his public support for abortion.

Pope Franics has never publicly criticized Biden, but last year compared Trump’s border security to the Berlin Wall that divided communist East Germany from freedom in the West. In December, Pope Francis appeared to draw a comparisonbetween Herod and Trump.

In February 2016, during the Republican presidential primaries, Pope Francis commented on Trump while on the papal plane returning from Mexico. 

“A person who only thinks about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” he said, according to a transcript of his remarks. In the same press scrum, Pope Francis said that he would not comment on Italy’s same-sex civil union legislation “because the Pope is for everybody and he can’t insert himself in the specific internal politics of a country.”

Last year, Biden told a PBS interviewer that Pope Francis gives him Communion, after he was denied Communion by a Catholic priest because of his public support for abortion.

Biden says in the new video: “Faith is what has gotten me through difficult times in my life,” which include the deaths of his first wife and eldest daughter in a car accident in 1972 and his son’s death from brain cancer in 2015.

At one point in the video, Biden says: “I go to Mass and I say the rosary. I find it to be incredibly comforting.”

Biden is shown in the video attending Mass, speaking from church pulpits, and praying with a number of different people. He is also shown meeting Pope Francis, with both men appearing to be smiling in the image.

The Obama-Biden administration notably tried to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to participate in the provision of abortion-inducing drugs and contraception and threatened schools with the loss of federal funding if they wouldn’t let boys in girls’ bathrooms and vice versa, among other things.

Biden was the frontrunner during much of the Democrat primary campaign but has now slipped to second place behind Bernie Sanders. According to the current RealClearPolitics polling average, Biden now has a 17.8% of the vote, 10% behind Bernie Sanders and less than 2% more than late entry Michael Bloomberg.
