Kristen Clarke, President-elect Joe Biden’s nominee for Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, is a disastrous choice. Clarke has a long record of making racially charged-comments, going back to her time in college and continuing to this day. She also has spoken out in favor of anti-Semites. Back in college, Clarke led a student group that provided an anti-Semitic professor a platform to spew his vile remarks. Much more recently, Clarke supported an advocate of the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. If Clarke’s name is not withdrawn from consideration, the Senate must reject her nomination.

Back in the day when Clarke served as the president of the Black Students Association (BSA) at Harvard, she co-authored a letter to the Harvard Crimson asserting that blacks are born with “superior physical and mental abilities.” It’s all due to the chemical melanin, Clarke claimed, which “endows [b]lacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities -- something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards." The Harvard Crimson editors at the time called for Clarke to resign her position at the BSA unless she was “prepared to retract her statements, and apologize publicly for making them.” The furthest that Clarke was willing to go at that time was stating that "The information [contained in the letter] is not necessarily something we believe.” [Emphasis added] There was no public retraction back then.

Clarke also invited the late Wellesley Professor of Africana Studies Anthony Martin to speak at a 1994 Black Students Association-sponsored event. Clarke’s guest used his time to slander Jews with the accusation that Jews had a “tradition” of persecuting blacks. "There was a Jewish monopoly over Blacks being cursed," Martin said during his address.

Clarke defended the choice of Martin to speak after receiving criticism from the Harvard-Radcliffe Hillel. "Professor Martin is an intelligent, well-versed Black intellectual who bases his information on indisputable fact," Clarke said. The real indisputable fact is that Jews have put their lives on the line in the cause of the black civil rights movement. For example, Michael Schwerner and Andrew Goodman served in 1964 as voting-registration volunteers in Meridian, Mississippi and were murdered by Klansmen.

Now that Clarke is craving for the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights position in the Biden administration, she wants a do-over. In a recent interview, Clarke said that she realizes it was a mistake to invite Martin to speak at Harvard. “Giving someone like him a platform, it’s not something I would do again,” Clarke said, adding that “I unequivocally denounce antisemitism.”

Clarke’s recantation comes way too late. If Democrats had an ounce of intellectual honesty, which they do not, Clarke’s invitation to an anti-Semitic professor to speak at Harvard when she was a student would be reason enough for them to “cancel” Clarke now. After all, Democrats in the Senate were willing to throw Trump nominees’ alleged behavior in college and high school back at them when their nominations were being considered. The worst case involved the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. But there were others as well who were targeted by the cancel culture crowd.

In any case, we don’t even have to look back at Clarke’s college days to find proof of her support for radicals who espouse anti-Semitic views. In 2018, for example, Israel denied Vincent Warren, executive director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, entry to the country because of his organization’s support for the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. Clarke tweeted, “Incredibly disturbed to hear that @VinceWarren was detained and denied entry into Israel on a trip that was carefully and thoughtfully planned out over the course of several months. #CivilRights Lawyers should not be penalized for their work to promote justice.”

As for the letter to the Harvard Crimson Clarke co-authored, claiming that blacks have “superior physical and mental abilities,” Clarke is now saying that it was all a misunderstanding. She claims that the letter was intended as a satirical response to the book The Bell Curve, which posited genetic differences between whites and blacks. Clarke wants us to believe that her letter’s references to melanin as the cause of black superiority “was meant to express an equally absurd point of view — fighting one ridiculous absurd racist theory with another ridiculous absurd theory.” That’s disinformation. At the time when the letter was written, Clarke said that she was uncertain whether the melanin theory of black superiority was true or not. There wasn’t a hint of sarcasm in the letter.

Putting aside her comments about melanin back in college, Clarke certainly shows no uncertainty today in embracing critical race theory, which posits that America is inherently racist. In her capacity as president and executive director of Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Clarke condemned the Trump administration’s decision to remove critical race theory from federal government training programs. "Our nation stands at an inflection point as communities are grappling with the ongoing threat of racism, white supremacy and police violence," Clarke said in a statement. "President Trump's latest federal directive is an attempt to discredit, condemn and silence important conversations happening in communities and workplaces about anti-racism and about our nation's history of white supremacy. By banning government support for these discussions, he sends a dangerous message to the country that racism is a fallacy."

Last year, Clarke denounced what she claims is “systemic racism that pervades every aspect of our lives, especially when it comes to policing and the operation of the criminal justice system of our country.” She supports defunding of the police. “I advocate for defunding policing operations that have made African Americans more vulnerable to police violence and contributed to mass incarceration while investing more in programs and policies that address critical community needs,” she wrote last June for Newsweek. She called the concerns regarding the violence that broke out last year in the wake of the George Floyd killing a “distraction.”

Clearly, if Clarke were to become Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights and have her way, she would push to put the police on trial all over the country. She would also force-feed critical race theory to all federal employees and beyond. She would support the BDS movement as a civil right.

The Senate must reject Kristen Clarke’s nomination.

“Impeachment isn’t a tool that should be used to virtue signal. But that’s exactly what occurred this week. Democrat hypocrisy was on full display with their article of impeachment, censure bills, an unconstitutional 25th Amendment removal attempt, and other attacks to try and punish Republicans for false accusations of inciting the type of violence Democrats have so frequently and transparently supported in the past.

“I voted against today’s article of impeachment and yesterday’s 25th Amendment coup, because these impeachment attempts were not exercised appropriately and because more partisan charades are not what our country needs right now. Rather than supporting these made-for-tv exercises, I urged the House to focus on reopening our economy and supporting America’s small businesses and working families.”

Background

Yesterday, the House of Representatives voted on a resolution urging Vice President Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office. This occurred after the Vice President came out and said he would not initiate the proceedings at the urging of Congress because it was inconsistent with the Constitution. The House of Representatives does not have the authority to initiate these proceedings. Furthermore, this resolution was inconsistent with the intent of the 25th Amendment as the 25th Amendment was ratified for situations where a President was severely disabled or incapacitated to the extent that he was incapable of carrying out his duties over an extended period.

Today, the House of Representatives took up a single article of impeachment that accused President Trump of inciting violence against the Government of the United States. The Senate Parliamentarian made clear that the Senate could not act on this article of impeachment until the day before President Trump leaves office.

At the rally where House Democrats falsely claim the President incited violence and started a coup, the President said, “We’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

The President, Rep. Boebert, and other House Republicans have all condemned those who broke the law and stormed the Capitol on January 6th, made clear that they do not represent the America First movement, urged prosecution for these unlawful acts, and promised an orderly transition in just a few short days on January 20th.

Disingenuous politics like the partisan Democrat bills the House took up this week only further divide the country and distract from the real issues we should be focused on.

According to the University of California, Santa Cruz, more than 317,000 businesses closed their doors from February to September. Tens of millions of jobs have been lost due to overreaching and often unconstitutional COVID policies that have unfairly targeted certain businesses and individuals.

Hard-working American families have lost their life savings and everything they own. Their struggles are real and their stories are heartbreaking. As a small business owner, Rep. Boebert understands these challenges and is focused on safely reopening our economy and fostering an environment for job creation.

The infamous Reichstag fire on Feb. 27, 1933. The government used it as a pretense to jail political enemies and strip away everyone's civil liberties. It's starting to seem frighteningly familiar.

Conservatives are suddenly living a political nightmare similar to the aftermath of the Reichstag fire in Germany in 1933. Following that arson on the German Parliament building, several thousand political opponents were jailed and the entire country was officially stripped of virtually every civil liberty. Those developments cemented the continued rise of Hitler and the Nazis. We all know what horrors followed.

The incident last week at the U.S. Capitol is minuscule in comparison to the extreme violence, deaths, and billions of dollars of damage brought on across America by the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots. Moreover, the breach of the Capitol was clearly organized and led by Antifa types, according to eyewitnesses and counter-terrorism experts we’ve talked to personally and startling accounts we’ve read and seen.

Like the Reichstag fire, the incident at the U.S. Capitol is being used as an excuse by government, corporations, and the media to inflame an unprecedented war against conservatives. People who even dare to question the election results are being fired from their jobs across America. Conservative groups of all stripes are being denied service by technology companies. Banks are stopping service to Trump companies and others. The media has become a non-stop propaganda machine, attacking facts they don’t like as “lies.” Biden’s people are preparing even more extreme measures, including Second Amendment challenges and even gun confiscations. The FBI is now engaged against conservatives in one of the biggest phony “investigations” of its history. And we’re seeing the total militarization of D.C. – possibly to fuel fear of “patriots.”

The mainstream conservative and Republican reaction to all this is disturbing. The general message we’re getting has been to back off, “go gray,” and try not to attract any more attention from the hysterical Leftist mob. Don’t provoke them. Hide and hope they’ll leave you alone. The American Thinker site, for example, has announced it has turned off its comments section for that reason. Will this strategy work – or just make things worse? Unfortunately, experience shows that cowering only emboldens the mob.

And it’s worse in Washington, DC. As we’ve seen this week, Republicans in Congress are surrendering in droves, abandoning their constituents, and some even jumping on board with the Democrats. At the impeachment “debate” on Jan. 13, there was no real pushback against the narrative that “Trump supporters” were behind the Jan. 6 riots. Is that an intelligent strategy?

Where is this going, if we don’t stand up and speak out boldly? A little history is in order.

In 2005, our MassResistance Banquet featured Stephan Ross as the keynote speaker. Ross was a Jew born in Poland. He was a survivor of ten Nazi concentration camps including Auschwitz. He was a great supporter of our organization, a personal friend of MR Director Brian Camenker, and was eager to share his wisdom.

He said that when the Nazis first came to power, people didn’t take it seriously. They thought it would “blow over.” As the situation worsened, the Jewish community was encouraged to pray about it, he said. By the time they realized how bad it was, there was nothing they could do. Ross’s entire extended family, except for a brother, was murdered by the Nazis.

He implored our group not to give up our aggressive activism. He said that the kinds of things that we were fighting at the time – violations of the constitution, graphic sex education, the LGBT agenda in the schools, “gay” marriage, abortion – were just the beginning of worse things to come. He said that if good people don’t stand up when they can, early on, the time will come when they can’t anymore.

In America, we can still rise up, though it’s becoming difficult with the increasing unlawfulness, censorship, and demonization by the Left. The Left is oppressive but not murderous – yet. We must ignore our fears and charge forward, or that will surely follow.

Like Martin Luther King’s organization in Birmingham, a group of fearless people can take down a seemingly unbeatable, overwhelming combination of government, business, and media – if they refuse to give up.

Mr. Ross passed away last year. We got to know him very well, and he left an indelible mark on our psyche – and inspired us to carry on no matter the odds.

How MassResistance is reacting to this threat

Because of all this, MassResistance is compelled to expand the normal scope of our 25-year pro-family, activism to stand up to this threat. Trust us, there are a lot of very effective things that determined groups of citizens can do (which we will describe in future posts)! And we will do them! People are hungering for bold speech and principled action.

Here’s an inspiring example of courageous leadership. At least one GOP member of Congress is doing the right thing. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), a former MassResistance activist, has announced that she will be filing Articles of Impeachment against Biden on Jan. 21! The point is to keep the truth alive and fight for what is right! This is how to construct the foundation for a future victory.

We invite good people to join the fight. Despite what they want you to believe, there are more of us than there are of them. As we tell our activists, when you take on the Left, you may get their vicious personal abuse, threats to your job, etc. – at least at first until they realize that we fight back. (Deep down, they are pretty much all cowards.) And a lot of your friends will also be cowards. But the alternative is much worse. And the spiritual benefits are immense. Join the real resistance!

In 2020, Americans all across the country lost faith in their election system.

Whatever the disputed facts regarding the 2020 presidential election, the security of the United States’ election system has been incrementally deteriorating for years. State governments have implemented an increasing number of measures over time in the name of making voting more accessible and fair. These measures have made elections more vulnerable to fraud than they’ve ever been.

It’s long past time to restore America’s election integrity. Without fair elections, we do not have a free country.

The Restore Election Integrity action project aims to restore the election process as well as public trust in it. The goal is to help educate citizens about the problems with our elections and then mobilize everyone to push legislators toward reform. The ultimate goal is to have every legal vote count and every illegitimate one tossed out.

In essence, satisfactory election reform would result in a simple and secure system in which citizens with a Voter ID would vote in-person on Election Day at their local precinct, where anyone can watch the ballot count.

Act Now

It is immensely important that JBS members and supporters work together to create the pressure needed to restore American’s election process. This challenge is vast and therefore needs dedicated and perseverant activism.

Election integrity restoration can be accomplished almost entirely on local and state levels, meaning you can have a vital impact on election reform no matter the national political landscape. Here’s what you can do right away:

If you haven’t already, join The John Birch Society and become part of a local chapter to learn more about the problem and coordinate effective action with other members. Join the John Birch Society.
Where it makes sense, create Restore Election Integrity ad hoc committees.
Contact your state and federal legislators and urge them to restore election integrity by reforming our existing election laws.
The alerts provide pre-written emails and talking points for phone calls demanding election law reforms.
One of the most effective ways to get a message across to local and state legislators is by calling them. Our Contact Elected Officials system is another easy way to find out who your representatives are and how to contact them. Call their offices and demand the proper actions needed to restore election integrity. If you can’t speak with them, leave messages with their staffers. Attend meetings where legislators and local officials will be available and make your voice heard.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced during an appearance on Newsmax TV Wednesday evening that she plan to file articles of impeachment against Democrat President-elect Joe Biden “on behalf of the American people” on January 21, the day after Biden is inaugurated.

Responding to a question about a major announcement she had planned, Greene stated, “I would like to announce on behalf of the American people, we have to make sure sure that our leaders are held accountable, we cannot have a President of the United States that is willing to abuse the power of the office of the Presidency and be easily bought off by foreign governments, foreign Chinese energy companies, Ukrainian energy companies.”

“On January 21st I will be filing articles of impeachment on Joe Biden,” Greene said.

The freshman House Rep. added, “I can’t imagine people in this country being so fearful of a future of a Biden presidency that they may be willing to commit violence like they did in the Capitol here in Washington, D.C. We cannot have that, I do not condone that, we cannot have that violence. The American people need hope, they need to know that there are Republicans in Congress who are willing to stand up and fight for them.”

The purge continues.

The Google-owned video-sharing platform YouTube on Tuesday placed a temporary suspension on President Donald Trump’s account, preventing the president from uploading new content for a week.

“After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” YouTube said in a statement Tuesday night.

“It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a *minimum* of 7 days,” the company continued.

If a content creator gets three “strikes” within a 90-day period, his or her channel will be permanently banned from the platform.

“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section,” YouTube added.

This comes amid the effort by various social-media companies to censor or ban the president on grounds that his words “incite violence,” a claim allegedly evidenced by the march on Congress last week, in which a crowd entered into the Capitol Building without authorization.

Following those events, the social media platforms Facebook, Instagram (which is owned by Facebook), and Twitter banned President Trump.

The suppression of the sitting American president prompted major migration of users to the free speech-focused Parler, but within a few hours, Google (which developed the Android smartphone operation system) and Apple banned Parler from their app stores, making it harder for people to access it on their phones.

Of course, users could still find Parler on their smartphone or computer browsers, but then Amazon, whose hosting services Parler was using, cut the alternative platform off, knocking it offline until the company can find a new host.

Another tech firm to abruptly end its relationship with the president over last week’s events at the Capitol is Stripe, one of the most popular online payment-processing platforms.

Stripe’s decision to blacklist the Trump campaign means the president’s team is unable to accept credit-card donations.

Similarly, Shopify, the online platform being used by TrumpStore.com, which is run by the Trump campaign and Trump Organization, terminated access by the president’s team.

“Shopify does not tolerate actions that incite violence. Based on recent events, we have determined that the actions by President Donald J. Trump violate our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits promotion or support of organizations, platforms or people that threaten or condone violence to further a cause. As a result, we have terminated stores affiliated with President Trump,” Shopify said in a statement.

For the global elites, everything is marching according to plan. They control Big Tech and are now unleashing the full capacity for social control for which they invested billions of dollars.

While these widely influential platforms purge the president and his supporters, making the diffusion of truth more challenging, the leftist media is cheering.

The outlet Axios best articulated the goal of the left (albeit in glowing terms) by calling leftist corporations, particularly Big Tech, a “4th branch of government” more efficient and powerful than the White House or Congress.

This is a perilous moment for freedom of speech, and not only in the sphere of social media. The establishment has shown that they are willing to use whatever industry they control to silence political dissidents. Are you guilty of “right-wing hate speech?” The major social media sites will ban you. The major telecom firms will take down your websites. Soon all the major banks will shut down your account, and even if you use a local credit union, Visa and Mastercard will blacklist you so you can’t use cards.

Sadly, most major corporations in every industry, certainly nearly all the multinational conglomerates, work with the global elites because they became successful thanks to the investment of older generations of globalists.

Companies such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google didn’t get big in a vacuum, but they received several rounds of capital investment prior to going public. The establishment wouldn’t have given them that money if they weren’t assured the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey would bow before the globalist agenda once rising to prominence.

Nevertheless, patriots must continue to create their own communications platforms if they wish to be free from the influence of the establishment. That includes using their own servers so they can’t so easily be taken offline. And even if the social-media options run out, patriots can count on sites such as The New American to continually have truthful reporting on what’s happening in the country.

We cannot give up; winning the information war is crucial to winning the war for America.

The list is getting longer of corporations cutting ties with President Donald Trump and his friends and allies because of the January 6th incursion of the US Capitol Building.

A huge Save America rally supporting the president was held at the Ellipse. The four hour long rally with multiple speakers culminated with the president’s more than hour long speech and a planned march to the U.S. Capitol Building for an apparent rally there. Inside, the Congress was discussing the results of the Electoral College vote. Allies of the president attempted to forestall the certification of the election by asking for a ten-day audit of the troubling results from states believed to have experienced electoral fraud.

A break-away bunch of free radical Trump supporters and others, including at least one Leftist, fought their way into windows and doors or were allowed into the Capitol Building by law enforcement. Some people simply walked through the building from one entrance and exiting another. Others stuck around to do some chest beating and breaking objects and stealing things from private congressional offices.

Members of Congress were evacuated wearing gas masks.

It was abominable.

While it’s convenient to blame a president the Left already can’t stand, as I’ve reported at PJ Media, it’s very difficult to make a case that the president’s words fomented the unrest. Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy has come to that conclusion as well, even after the shocked Fox News contributor said he believed the president incited the mob. Saying that is one thing, proving it is another. Read the president’s words and watch them for yourself.

But, people predisposed to hating the president and hyper-sensitive to the sensitivities of the institutions run by the political Left have spoken. They’ve cut off the president, his friends, colleagues and, in some case, his fans. The New York Times reported a cohort of companies from banks to health care companies are temporarily halting their PAC giving to any political parties.

The following is a list of companies that have cut off the president and/or friends or political party is culled from various news stories, among them from Axios, The New York Times, the Associated Press and other publications.

Amazon

Amazon, one of the biggest companies in the world, owned by the richest man in the world, who also owns The Washington Post, cut off donations to Republicans who fought election fraud and demanded an extension of the voting in the Electoral College.

Golf

Professional Golf Association of America

The PGA has cut its ties with the Trump organization, owner of multiple golf clubs and resorts. The PGA reneged on its agreement to hold the 2022 PGA Championship at Trump’s Bedminster golf course. The New York Times reports that the PGA president claimed the Trump association “would be detrimental to the P.G.A. of America brand, and would put at risk the P.G.A.’s ability to deliver our many programs, and sustain the longevity of our mission.”

High Tech/Social Media

Facebook

Facebook has banned President Trump from posting on its platform.

Twitter

Twitter has permanently banned the president from its platform.

Shopify

Shopify, an e-commerce company, has dropped the Trump campaign and Trump Organization from its platform permanently.

Stripe

Stripe, an online payment company, has dropped the president because it claims he encouraged violence.

Reddit cut off the sub reddit handle r/DonaldTrump due to Stop the Steal discussions.

Snapchat

Snapchat cut off the president’s account. It muted the account in June.

Twitch

Twitch has locked out President Trump of its Minority Report-like standard which is he might incite violence

Lehigh University

Lehigh University, which gave Donald Trump an honorary degree in 1988, withdrew it.

Wagner College

Wagner College withdrew its honorary degree it awarded the president in 2004.

Middlebury College

Vermont’s uber liberal Middlebury College is considering revoking Rudolph Giuliani’s honorary law doctorate, given for his valiant response to 9/11, but they don’t like him anymore.

Banks/Finance

American Express

The NYT reported the American Express PAC would no longer support any Congressional member who voted against certifying the election. The company never supported any GOP Senators according to The New York Times. There’s no word on if the company cut off Democrats who have voted against certification in the past.

MasterCard

MasterCard said said it was cutting off donations to any politician who tried to hold up the count of the Electoral College votes.

Morgan Stanley

The investment giant has cut off donations to any congressional member who voted against certifying the election.

Legal

New York State Bar Association

The liberal New York State Bar Association is considering investigating Giuliani and banishing him from their group.

Telecom/Cable

AT&T

The Dallas based media and telecom company withdrew all its PAC donations from all Republicans including 17 Texas state Republicans and Senator Ted Cruz. A group called End Citizens United called for the corporation’s withdrawal of donations from Republicans. It owns Time Warner cable.

Comcast

Comcast announced it’s cutting off Republicans who fought the election results. Comcast owns NBCUniversal, NBC TV, local NBC stations, Xfinity, Telemundo, not to mention film companies and recreational parks.

Manufacturing

Dow Chemical

Dow Chemical, the Michigan based-chemical and plastics company, announced it would cut off Republicans who didn’t support Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory. The multinational corporation announced that it would suspend donations for the next election cycle.

Insurance

Blue Cross Blue Shield

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association cut off political contributions to Republicans who tried to stop the certification of the Electoral College. It’s “one of the nation’s largest federations of insurance companies,” according to The New York Times.

Hospitality

Marriott International

The hospitality company Marriott International, which besides its own eponymously named hotels owns nearly 5,400 other properties, including the luxe The Ritz Carlton brand, Autograph Collection Hotels, St. Regis and many others, says it’s cutting off the GOP because of the “destructive events at the Capitol” which undermined “a legitimate and fair election.”

Publishing/Media

Hallmark

Hallmark has asked Senators Josh Hawley and Roger Marshall to give back their campaign contributions for voting against certifying the election. Hallmark owns publishing, television networks, retail stores, and even the Crayola art materials company.

Cumulus

The radio station group reportedly put its conservative hosts on notice that they not give oxygen to the idea that the election wasn’t over. National Review reports the brass at Cumulus put out a memo reading, “We need to help induce national calm NOW,” Cumulus’s executive vice president of content Brian Philips wrote in the memo. The company “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended. The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’”

Cumulous stations host Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, and many other conservative hosts across the country.

Other Companies Halting All Political Donations:

The New York Times reports that the following companies also plan on halting all political donations from their political action committees for the foreseeable future.

They are JPMorgan Chase, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Visa, American Airlines, BP, and Coca Cola.

Airbnb and FedEx are studying their political giving before making any further announcements.

Andrew Torba, the CEO of Gab, a free-speech alternative to Twitter, backed up President Trump’s entire account before it was deleted, and recreated it on Gab.

Gab is currently experiencing bandwidth issues over a surge in new users and attacks from liberal groups.

Conservative commentator and former baseball star Curt Schilling says that AIG canceled his insurance policy over his “social media profile,” a new level of deplatforming not yet seen.

“We will be just fine, but wanted to let Americans know that @AIGinsurance canceled our insurance due to my “Social Media profile,” tweeted Schilling.

“The agent told us it was a decision made by and with their PR department in conjunction with management,” he added.

While innumerable Trump supporters have lost their Twitter and Facebook accounts due to social media censorship and cancel culture, cases of individuals being cut off by banks and other financial services are now growing too.

The purge has gone beyond the realm of simply silencing people on major platforms for their opinions, but punishing them for expressing them by trying to make their lives unlivable.

Numerous respondents pointed out the obvious – that without insurance it’s impossible to mortgage a home or register a vehicle.

However, other leftists applauded the move and said that Schilling deserved it for his support of Trump.

“You’ve definitely earned it,” remarked one.

“I mean…. capitalism right? They calculated the risk and decided your premiums weren’t worth the long term exposure?” added another.

What happened to Schilling is yet another chilling example of how Chinese Communist social credit score system is being implemented in America.

In August 2019, the Communist state bragged about how it had prevented 2.5 million “discredited entities” from purchasing plane tickets and 90,000 people from buying high speed train tickets in the month of July alone.

Parler Purge Opens a Whole New Can of Worms

In the ongoing Big-Tech purge of any voice that is considered off the liberal reservation, Parler — the free-speech social-media site recently preferred by many conservatives — was burned to the ground over the weekend. First Google and Apple announced that they would both be removing the Parler app from their app stores. Then, Amazon — which hosted the site via its AWS hosting service — pulled the plug on the site, taking it completely offline.

As Business Insider reported:

Amazon announced its intention to sever ties with Parler on Sunday, saying it “cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others.”

“Because Parler cannot comply with our terms of service and poses a very real risk to public safety, we plan to suspend Parler’s account effective Sunday, January 10th, at 11:59PM PST,” a spokesperson said in an emailed statement to Insider.

And:

Parler CEO John Matze told Fox News on Sunday that the platform would “get back online as quickly as possible,” and that the site could be down for up to a week. In a later post on Parler reported by Newsweek Matze said it would “likely be down longer than expected.”

Matze also wrote, “We have our software and everyone’s data ready to go. Rather it’s that Amazon’s, Google’s and Apple’s statements to the press about dropping our access has caused most of our other vendors to drop their support for us as well. And most people with enough servers to host us have shut their doors to us.”

Blaming Parler for the “violent insurrection” at the Capitol last week when protesters breached the Capitol Building, Google, Apple, and Amazon set their sights on destroying the site. Matze was quoted by The Epoch Times as saying, “there is no evidence Parler was used to coordinate the events,” adding, “Parler has no groups-style feature, and Facebook was the number one tool for coordinating meetups for that event.”

Facts and reality be damned, Parler will be the victim of a Big-Tech witch hunt. It does not matter that Parler was not — could not have been — the platform used to coordinate an “insurrection.” What matters is that Parler will take the blame for it anyway.

The Epoch Times report also states that Parler is “prepared to take full legal action,” according to a statement Matze e-mailed to the news organization.

As The Epoch Times reported:

The targeted moderation by these companies against Parler came after civil unrest and acts of violence marred a largely peaceful protest at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. A group of rioters and a minority of protesters waving American and Trump flags illegally stormed the Capitol building as lawmakers were counting electoral votes in a joint session of Congress. The mayhem on the day left five people dead, including one police officer, and dozens of officers injured.

In response to the Capitol breach, a number of Silicon Valley technology companies ramped up their policing of statements and comments from President Donald Trump, conservatives, and other voices they say may cause harm. Twitter on Jan. 8 permanently removed Trump’s account on its platform and justified its censorship by saying the president had violated its “Glorification of Violence Policy” after he posted a message urging protesters to remain peaceful and leave the Capitol. The Trump campaign Twitter account has also been removed.

Parler, which has attracted a large following of classical liberal and conservative-leaning users, appeared to have been targeted for lacking a system to “implement robust moderation for egregious content.”

Parler has launched a lawsuit against Amazon and is in negotiations with other hosting services to bring the site back online, but as Matze stated in the above quote, “most people with enough servers to host us have shut their doors to us.”

This likely means that the return of Parler is unlikely. Worse yet, it opens the question of what happens to Parler users’ data in the aftermath of the purge. Because, as Gizmodo reports, a “researcher” (read: leftist hacktivist) worked to “create a lasting public record for future researchers to sift through.” She did this by archiving every post from January 6. She described her catalog of user data as a bevy of “very incriminating” evidence. That data includes users’ location information.

This, of course, brings up the issue of privacy. Even Gizmodo acknowledged this, writing, “The privacy implications are obvious, but the copious data may also serve as a fertile hunting ground for law enforcement.” So, privacy be damned along with facts and reality. The end — as always — justifies the means.

Given that this is not the first time Parler has been used to expose personal data of its users (a hack of an unsecured AWS server in November exposed names, passwords, and e-mail addresses of users), perhaps the lesson to be learned is this: Using social media platforms for conservative-leaning ideology is a recipe for disaster. The only exception to that would be something that is end-to-end encrypted and zero-knowledge. Because if a company collects user data, it can — and will — be compromised.

Cumulus Media, America’s third largest owner of AM and FM radio stations, is threatening to fire show hosts who question the results of the 2020 Presidential Election on air.

Cumulus, whose stations are home to household names such as Mark Levin, Chris Plante, and Dan Bongino, reaches over a quarter of a billion listeners every month, with programming broadcast through 416 company-owned-and-operated stations, as well as an additional nearly 8,000 affiliates through Westwood One, a subsidiary of Cumulus.

“We need to help induce calm NOW,” wrote Brian Phillips, Vice President of Content in an internal memo, issued last Wednesday.

Cumulus and Westwood One “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended,” Phillips continued, as the “election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable paths.”

“If you transgress this policy, you can expect to separate from the company.”

Cumulus’ new guidelines appear to be in step with a seemingly countless number of other media corporations nationwide, who have long been accused of quashing dissent through intimidation and retribution as well as outright censorship.

Like Cumulus, in the wake of last Wednesday’s Capitol Hill protests against the certification of contested electoral votes, social media networks have raced to censor conservative voices. In addition to the banning of President Trump from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, thousands of other political figures and private citizens have been booted from the sites.

Even social media networks themselves haven’t been safe from the censors. Parler, the free speech app partially owned by Dan Bongino and heavily promoted by Mark Levin – both Cumulus hosts – has gone offline after their web services were discontinued by Amazon, in retribution for the site’s free speech stance.

NORTH CAROLINA: Board Considering Placing Ten Commandments Displays Near Entrance of Schools Within District

SHELBY, N.C. — A school board in North Carolina is considering the possibility of having the Ten Commandments displayed at or near the entrance of every school in the district.

According to the Shelby Star, the Cleveland County School Board agreed during a Dec. 14 meeting to draft a policy requiring the Decalogue to be erected “in a prominent place at or near the main entrance to all of our campuses.”

Board member Ron Humphries introduced the resolution, noting that a state law passed in 2000 allows for displays with “historical significance” and when used to “exemplify the development of the rule of law,” such as the Magna Carta and Justinian Code.

The Ten Commandments display would need to be accompanied by at least one other historical tribute to be permissible under the law.

Board member Dena Green, however, expressed caution in moving forward with the idea, stating that she would like to hear from an attorney on the matter as she is concerned about potential lawsuits.

“I would think that the ACLU would really come down on us,” she stated. “We are probably going to get a lot of backlash on that, and it’s going to cost us a lot of money.”

Meanwhile, the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) has sent a letter to the district attorney to assert that the display would be unconstitutional.

“It would be a flagrant violation of the Establishment Clause for the Board to require all of its schools to display the Ten Commandments. The Supreme Court has ruled on Ten Commandments displays in public schools, finding that they violate the Establishment Clause,” its correspondence reads in part.

“Any student will view a Ten Commandments display in school as being endorsed by the school,” FFRF wrote, adding, “The district’s promotion of the Bible and religion over non-religion impermissibly turns any non-Christian or non-believing student, parent, or staff member into an outsider.”

As previously reported, in 1828, just 41 years after the signing of the Constitution, Noah Webster, known as the Father of American Scholarship and Education, wrote, “In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government, ought to be instructed. … No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.”

He also wrote in his publication “Letters to a Young Man Commencing His Education”:

“Let it then be the first study of your early years to learn in what consists real worth or dignity of character. To ascertain this important point, consider the character and attributes of the Supreme Being. As God is the only perfect being in the universe, His character, consisting of all that is good and great, must be the model of all human excellence, and His laws must of course be the only rules of conduct by which His rational creatures can reach any portion of like excellence.”

Romans 13:8-10 outlines that God’s law teaches what it means to love one another.

“Owe no man anything but to love one another, for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law,” it states. “For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.”

Parler Removes Post by Attorney Lin Wood Seemingly Calling for Execution of VP Mike Pence

It seems that even the “free speech” social network Parler has its limits.

The social network that has attracted scores of conservative commentators because of its commitment to free speech has taken down several posts from Trump affiliate Lin Wood, according to a report in Mediaite.

In one of the posts removed from the social media platform, Wood called for the execution of Vice President Mike Pence.

In a statement to Mediaite, Parler chief executive John Matze confirmed that the service had taken action against Wood’s posts to the platform.

“Yes, some of his parleys that violated our rules were taken down,” Matze told Mediaite. “Including the ones you are talking about.”

The move from Parler is significant because it would mark one of the first instances of a high profile conservative figure having their content removed from the service.

Parler, despite its reputation as a social platform dedicated to free speech, does have some rules governing content.

And, as Mediaite flagged, the posts from Wood likely ran afoul of a rule in the company’s terms of service that states “reported parleys, comments, or messages sent using our service will be deemed a violation of these Guidelines if they contain: an explicit or implicit encouragement to use violence, or to commit a lawless action, such that: (a) the Parleyer intends his or her speech to result in the use of violence or lawless action, and (b) the imminent use of violence or lawless action is the likely result of the parley, comment, or message.”

Wood, whose account remains active on Parler, had his Twitter account suspended on Thursday, as Forbes reported at the time.

Meanwhile, the incitements to execute Pence seem to have been the animating factor for at least some of the rioters who stormed the Capitol building on Wednesday. Reuters Photo News Editor Jim Bourg tweeted about hearing at least three different rioters hoping to “find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor.”
