In Afghanistan, the British and French took the lead in getting their people out while Biden’s generals yelled at them to stop rescuing their people because it made them look bad.

An American convoy came under fire in Sudan.

France and Italy are evacuating their citizens. The Democrat surrender monkeys in D.C. have a familiar message. “Sorry you guys, you’re on your own. What do you think we’re a great power or something?”

As the violent struggle for power over Sudan reaches the one-week mark, the Biden administration is sticking firmly to its warning for private citizens: don’t expect to be rescued.

While the administration says it is working towards evacuating American embassy staff still stranded in the country, it makes no promises about other Americans who could get let behind.

“It is not our standard procedure to evacuate American citizens living abroad,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Friday.

Unless they’re woke lesbian basketball players who hate America. In that case, no expenses will be spared and no compromises of national security will be too great.

Everyone else can go to hell or Sudan which is much the same thing.

Principal Deputy State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel said that officials had been in touch with several hundred of the estimated 16,000 U.S. citizens in Sudan concerning “security measures and other precautions they can take on their own.”

Several hundred.

Meanwhile, Italy is evacuating not only its own people but Swiss nationals.

The Swiss foreign ministry said seven staff and five companions had been evacuated for security reasons “thanks to a collaboration with our partners”.

The foreign ministry tweet thanked France for its assistance, but it emerged early that Italy had also provided support.

On Sunday, Italy said it had helped evacuate its own nationals, but also Swiss citizens and members of the embassy of the Holy See in Sudan.

Not to mention other Europeans.

Late Sunday evening the foreign affairs ministry said in a statement the “first phase” of the evacuation from Sudan had been carried out with the transfer of 105 Italians and 31 foreigners, including Portuguese, Australian, Greek, British, and Swedish nationals, on board an Italian Air Force C130 and a Spanish Air Force AM400 to Djibouti.

Relatively weak European countries are not only getting their people out but also foreigners. Biden won’t even evacuate Americans.

On Friday, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby discussed the challenges of evacuating the embassy, saying it’s “not as simple as jumping in a taxicab” and that all U.S. government personnel had not yet been consolidated in a single location.

If only we had some sort of globe-spanning military that we spend hundreds of billions of dollars on that could undertake such a process and then perhaps secure our borders against 2 million illegal invaders.

Oh well. If Americans left behind in Sudan want to get out, they need to learn to play basketball, go lesbian and burn the American flag.

Then Biden might do something.

Old Joe Biden’s ghostwriters issued a statement Thursday to congratulate Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, the feast marking the end of the fasting-by-day-and-gorging-by-night month of Ramadan. Predictably, it was anodyne and obsequious in the extreme, with Biden celebrating how Muslims “decorate their homes, give gifts to loved ones, wear new clothes, and visit family and friends.” The faux president is made to add: “I am moved by the generosity that is shown by families that can provide food and give charity to those in need through Zakat-al-Fitr.” In the course of all this flattery, Biden’s writer drops in a serious note: there is now a U.S. government task force dedicated to fighting “Islamophobia.”

The statement quickly shifts from telling us how wonderful it is that Muslims wear new clothes and visit family and friends to depicting Muslims as victims: “Eid al-Fitr marks the completion of a holy month dedicated to devotion, charity, and reflection—a time when we also remember Muslim communities around the world that are enduring conflict, poverty, hunger, and disease and those that are displaced from their homes.” That served to set up the big announcement. Biden’s ghostwriter continued: “As we celebrate our blessings this Eid, let us also recommit ourselves to the tireless work of building peace and standing up for the rights and dignity of all people.” When the White House writers start depicting Old Joe babbling about peace and human rights, you know something bad is coming.

Doing this work for peace and human dignity will apparently require new restrictions on speech: “My Administration is also committed to addressing all forms of hate, including Islamophobia. This is why I established an interagency task force with senior government officials to tackle this and related challenges and encourage every American to build a more inclusive nation.” Good because Lord knows we aren’t “inclusive” enough yet. Every last person in the world doesn’t live here on the taxpayer dime yet, so there is a long way to go.

Meanwhile, exactly what pressing need is this interagency task force designed to address? Are Muslims in the U.S. really subjected to such widespread discrimination and harassment that the feds need to step in? The record shows otherwise. FBI hate crime statistics show that Muslims are rarely targeted in hate crimes, which far more often victimize Jews and others. In fact, anti-Muslim hate crimes actually declined by 42% from 2020 to 2021. But those facts don’t fit the narrative that Muslims face widespread discrimination and harassment in the United States, and so the facts have to take a back seat.

And how is the new “interagency task force with senior government officials” going to “tackle” “Islamophobia”? No doubt we will now be inundated with taxpayer-funded material about how wonderful Islam is. In the nature of things, however, there will still be human disputes, and some of them will involve Muslims. Now that “Islamophobia” has been established as targeted by the government, these disputes will all be ascribed to “Islamophobia” and offered as evidence of how urgently needed this “interagency task force” really is. The “Islamophobia” task force will therefore likely enjoy ever-increasing budgets. That’s how government agencies work: they have to justify their existence, so they keep having to find more and more of the thing they’re supposed to be stamping out.

Most importantly, since the Biden regime is now officially committed to efforts to convince us of the wonderfulness of Islam, it is not likely to look kindly upon critics of the religion, including opponents of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women. Will the interagency task force make any efforts to protect the right of Americans to oppose jihad terror and Sharia oppression? Will it be careful to distinguish such criticism from the alleged hatred that this task force is supposed to be combating, or will it act upon the assumption that any and all criticism of Islam, and even of jihad terror, subjects Muslims to “hate” and must accordingly be silenced?

Since the Left has been insisting that opposition to jihad violence is “hate” ever since 9/11, my money is on the latter. But this is a preposterous claim that, if followed logically (which of course it never will be, as this “Islamophobia” business is fundamentally illogical), would preclude any criticism of anything as possibly leading to “hate” and violence. In practice, it will preclude all criticism of anything the Left favors. And the freedom of speech will be eroded even further.

Ready for another pandemic? New York City’s health commissioner announced last week that the influx of migrants from the southern border — more than 50,000 to New York City alone in the past year — is delivering contagious diseases, including tuberculosis and polio, to our neighborhoods.

The same disease threats are also endangering other migrant destinations, including California, Texas, and Florida.

In a letter to physicians and health care administrators citywide, Commissioner Ashwan Vasan explained that “many people who recently arrived in NYC have lived in or traveled through countries with high rates of TB.”

TB, short for tuberculosis, is a bacterial infection. It is treatable with antibiotics, but it generally takes six to nine months of medication to recover. Not a walk in the park.

TB spreads through the air, like the flu or a cold. Stand next to someone with TB for a long subway ride or sit next to them every day at school and you can catch it.

New York City’s TB rate, at 6.1 cases per 100,000, is more than double the national rate. Close to 9 out of 10 (88%) of these TB cases are people born outside the United States. Every neighborhood in the city has had at least one case.

Vasan’s letter called on New York to pull out all the stops in providing health care, food, and legal services to migrants. Not a word about protecting the people who already live here.

Open borders import disease. Immigrants who lawfully apply for a visa must undergo health screenings and show they are vaccinated, and refugees are screened for TB before entering the U.S. Not so for those wading across the Rio Grande.

Nationwide, 6,009 of the 8,300 people with TB in 2022 were foreign-born, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Florida was slammed with a 21% increase in TB since 2020.

Texas border counties have a TB rate triple the national average.

At least TB is treatable. Polio, on the other hand, can paralyze you for life.

Time will tell how big a threat the return of polio is. In the 1940s and early 1950s, thousands of Americans were permanently paralyzed by it, but vaccines ended that nightmare.

New York’s last confirmed case was in 1990. That is until last summer when an unvaccinated Rockland County man became paralyzed by polio. His disease likely originated in another country.

Vasan warns that only 50% of the migrants streaming into the Big Apple are vaccinated. But an even bigger issue is the type of vaccine used in many poorer countries, which can actually spread polio.

The U.S. uses only injectable polio vaccines made with a deadly virus that cannot spread the disease. But many other countries use a less safe oral vaccine that contains live virus and is sometimes shed in the vaccinated person’s feces. It can then spread in sewage or on unclean hands, causing vaccine-derived cases of polio. That’s a problem in 25 countries.

Polio found in New York sewage matches the strains of polio caused by oral vaccines. And health authorities have matched the Rockland County man’s polio to these strains.

The Rockland County man had not traveled outside the U.S., but he attended a gathering where he picked up the disease several days before his symptoms appeared.

He may have shaken hands or touched contaminated water and was exposed to the virus.

Most unsettling, Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert, Rockland County health commissioner, cautions that “when we see one case of paralytic polio, that means there are probably hundreds and hundreds of cases that are out there in the community but not diagnosed, because 75% of the cases are asymptomatic.”

Looking at the presence of polio in wastewater in most parts of the state, Health Commissioner Mary Bassett warns that “the danger of polio is present in New York today.”

Gov. Kathy Hochul temporarily declared a state of emergency. But Democratic politicians won’t talk about why this emerging threat to our health is happening. You can thank the Biden administration’s open border policies.

Tell Democrats in Washington that one pandemic was enough.

In 2014, Abdullah Hasan was a recipient of the CAIR-SFBA Islamic Scholarship Fund. He went on to defend BDS for the ACLU. Now he’s an assistant press secretary at the White House.

CAIR is an Islamist organization that was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in one of the largest terror financing trials in America. Its founders were linked to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and it has opposed efforts to protect the United States against Islamic terrorism.

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant,” CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad had declared.

When Hasan received his scholarship in 2014-2015, the Islamic Scholarship Fund’s board members included Hatem Bazian, one of the country’s most notorious Islamic bigots, the co-founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, and an alleged supporter of Hamas, who has spent decades trafficking in antisemitism.

Hasan’s fellow CAIR-SFBA recipients included Salmah Rizvi, a former fellow at Al-Haq, a BDS group listed by Israel as a terrorist organization over its connections to the PFLP. Al-Haq’s general director is allegedly a key terrorist leader in the PFLP. Despite this background, Rizvi got an intelligence position in the Obama administration and produced materials that went into the President’s Daily Brief. After leaving the administration, she bailed out her best friend,

Urooj Rahman, who had been accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a police car.

After conducting research around “primary Islamic texts and within a post-9/11 surveillance culture”, Hasan went into activism, opposing anti-BDS measures on behalf of the ACLU.

In an op-ed co-written by Hasan, he defended “lawful boycotts of Israel” and claimed that opposition to BDS was a “loyalty test”.

In 2019, Hasan ranted that, “Islamophobia is rampant even in our highest democratic institutions” like the Supreme Court.

Now he represents the Biden administration as one of its press secretaries.

Abdullah Hasan is one of a record number of over 100 Muslim staffers in the Biden administration. The growth has been especially astonishing considering that MOSAIC, an association of Muslim federal employees, could only gather 110 personnel for its second Iftar in 2016 and there are now almost as many aligned Muslims within the administration.

Kamala Harris commemorated Ramadan by posing with most of them on the steps of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and described them as “our administration’s incredible Muslim team.”

Biden’s incredible Muslim team includes men and women whom we have already profiled like Maher Bitar, a former executive board member of Hatem Bazian’s Students for Justice in Palestine and anti-Israel BDS activist who became Biden’s Senior Director for Intelligence on the National Security Council, Reema Dodin, Biden’s first “Palestinian” staffer who had defended suicide bombings, and Mazen Basrawi, Biden’s new Muslim liaison, who attended a conference honoring one of the unindicted co-conspirators of the World Trade Center bombing,

But there are many others who have not been fully investigated or profiled.

They include Aya Ibrahim, who started out as a legislative fellow to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, one of the most vocal terrorist supporters in Congress, and then a legislative assistant and adviser to fellow Squad member Rep. Ayanna Pressley. Biden took her on and brought her into the National Economic Council and then elevated her to a senior adviser in the White House Office of Technology and Policy only six years after she had graduated with a BA in Political Science.

Sameera Fazili briefly served as Deputy Director of the National Economic Council in the Biden Administration. At Harvard, she had served as president of the Harvard Islamic Society the year that it had conducted a fundraising dinner for the Holy Land Foundation: a Hamas front group.

(The event, part of the Harvard Islamic Society’s Islamic Awareness Week was co-chaired by Faiz Shakir who went on to become a top adviser to Senator Harry Reid, worked for Nancy Pelosi, and became Bernie Sanders’s campaign manager.)

At Harvard, Fazili had assailed counterterrorism expert Steve Emerson.

Fazili had a past with Karamah: Muslim Women for Human Rights which claims that “Islamic jurisprudence is the source of the knowledge base essential to the promotion of the rights of Muslim women”. The organization has defended Sharia law.

According to the Middle East Forum’s Islamist Watch, Fazili was a leading member of Stand With Kashmir: “best known for praising and defending violent Islamists in South Asia.” Her organization had called for the release of Islamic terrorists including supporters of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Uzra Zeya started out as a staffer at the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs: an informal arm of the Arab Lobby started by former diplomats to Muslim countries. While there Zeya helped compile material for a book claiming that Jews secretly control the United States. Biden chose Zeya as his undersecretary for civilian security, democracy, and human rights.

After the Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown, Zeya complained that “there are activists — including some in Egypt — who face criminal charges and intimidation for the peaceful exercise of their rights.”

Salman Ahmed, a former UN Peacekeeping official, was picked by Biden to oversee his transition team’s national security and foreign policy review before taking over as the Director of the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Staff. When Biden allowed the Taliban to take Kabul, Ahmed was sent to negotiate with the Taliban in Qatar.

Rashad Hussain, Biden’s “ambassador for religious freedom”, who has a degree in Islamic Studies and had memorized the Koran, had been Obama’s envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. During his time working for Obama, he had been caught lying about his past defense of an Islamic terrorist. Hussain had appeared at events with Muslim Brotherhood leaders. His wife, Isra Bhatty, became famous for volunteering as a translator for Islamic terrorists in Gitmo before moving on to a senior position at the Justice Department.

Even after Hussain’s appointment, he appeared at an Islamic Society of North America convention whose speakers had “promoted anti-Hindu rhetoric, called for the release of convicted terror supporters and for the establishment of a caliphate.” “One activist who spoke at the convention called convicted Hamas terror supporters, ‘the finest men.'”

Brenda Abdelall, the daughter of Egyptian immigrants, had participated in anti-Israel BDS protests in college. In a newspaper op-ed in 2002, she had falsely accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” as part of a “brutal occupation”.

“We cannot let the entire population of Palestinians suffer any longer, nor can we let the entire population of Chechens suffer either,” the Muslim activist had insisted.

Abdelall went on to work for the ACLU and then Muslim Advocates: a group working to stop America from fighting against Islamic terrorism. She taught a course at the University of Michigan Law School on ‘Islamophobia and the Law’. joined “Arab Americans for Biden” and was rewarded with a position at the Department of Homeland Security as “assistant secretary for partnership and engagement”.

Even after this appointment, Abdelall appeared at the same convention as Hussain where speakers had called for a caliphate ruled by Islamic law and for freeing Islamic terrorists.

This is a snapshot of not all, but some of the President’s Islamists. As the number of Islamic staffers in the administration continues to grow, it becomes difficult to keep track of more than a few of them. What was once ‘entryism’ has become a hijacking. And yet what we do see is troubling. Despite the denials, looking into the backgrounds of some of Biden’s more than 100 Islamic staffers, it doesn’t take much to turn up support for terrorists, hostility to America and Israel, and associations with the Muslim Brotherhood and its front groups.

The Biden administration is not, as some call it, “soft on terror”; it’s a Trojan horse of terror.

This will mean more crackdowns on the freedom of speech. This is because the term “Islamophobia” is an illegitimate conflation of two distinct phenomena: vigilante attacks against innocent Muslims, which are never justified, and honest analysis of the motivating ideology of jihad terror, which is always necessary. The objective of this conflation is to silence that analysis by falsely claiming that it leads to or causes those attacks.

WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden assured Muslims in his Eid message on Friday that his administration was committed to addressing Islamophobia as an ideology of hate.

“As we celebrate our blessings this Eid, let us also recommit ourselves to the timeless work of building peace and standing up for the rights and dignity of all people,” he said in a message released by the White House.

“My administration is also committed to addressing all forms of hate, including Islamophobia. This is why I established an inter-agency task force with senior government officials to tackle this and related challenges and encourage every American to build a more inclusive nation,” he added.

This year, the United Nations observed the first International Day to Combat Islamophobia on March 15. Since Pakistan had initiated the proposal, it was invited to chair the first observation at UN headquarters in New York.

March 15 was chosen as it is the anniversary of the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings, in which 51 people were killed.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, however, focused on remembering those who were away from their homes on Eid due to violence and persecution. “As we celebrate, let us not forget those who are unable to do so in the safety and comfort of their homes due to conflict, violence, persecution, or humanitarian crises,” he said in his Eid message.

He assured those separated from their loved ones on Eid that the United States would continue to work to reunite broken families. “The United States remains unwavering in its commitment to promoting peace, justice, and religious freedom for all. We wish you a blessed and joyful Eidul Fitr. Eid Mubarak,” he said.

President Biden said he was “moved by the generosity” shown during Ramazan and Eid when Muslims provide food and give charity to those in need. “We are proud to celebrate Eidul Fitr at the White House again this year to honour inspiring Muslim Americans who are making contributions across our country,” the US president said….

Last year, United Press International announced that more U.S. public schools were closing for the Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr. Last Month in San Francisco, schools rescheduled spring break to include Eid.

Since all are deemed equal under the law, should schools close for and accommodate every faith tradition? On the other side, there are those who would argue that there should not be Christmas holidays, completely dismissing the Christian foundations of America. Islamic countries, meanwhile, do not close schools for Christmas.

The formal congressional Eid Resolution recognizes “that there are 1,200,000 Muslim voters in the United States.”

CAIR has been influential in advancing Islamic interests above everyone else’s all over America, despite its claim of simply advocating for Muslim civil rights. In heavily Muslim Minneapolis, the city recently allowed the Islamic call to prayer to be broadcast over loudspeakers five times a day.

Whereas Ramadan is the holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal for Muslims worldwide;

Whereas this month of sacrifice and contemplation began at the end of March 2023, based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon;

Whereas Muslims in the United States and around the world observe Ramadan by fasting, emphasizing self-discipline, worship, charity, and reading the Holy Quran to improve patience, humility, and spirituality;

Whereas Ramadan continued until the celebration of Eid al-Fitr;

Whereas Eid al-Fitr begins each year with the sighting of the new moon, signifying a month-long end to fasting and reflection for all Muslim followers;

Whereas it is estimated that there are approximately 1,800,000,000 Muslims worldwide;

Whereas over 4,500 Muslims serve on active duty and over 2,300 Muslims serve as selected reserve personnel in the United States Armed Forces;

Senate Bill 2 requires citizens to obtain a deceptively named “handgun qualified purchaser permit” to purchase or receive a handgun, with an exemption for carry permit holders. To obtain a permit, an applicant is required to, at their own expense, have taken approved training and to submit fingerprints, though the bill does create a voucher system for low-income individuals to cover the cost of training. The State Bureau of Investigation is allowed up to 30 days to issue a permit. Because permits are valid for only 180 days and training is only accepted if taken within the past five years, this creates recurring costs, delays, and hassle for citizens to maintain the ability to exercise their Second Amendment right to obtain a handgun. In addition, the bill also creates a registry of all handgun transfers.

"It’s absolutely imperative that U.S. citizens in Sudan make their own arrangements to stay safe in these difficult circumstances," White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said in Washington.

President Biden announced on Saturday evening in Washington that the U.S. military had evacuated official personnel from the embassy in Khartoum, Sudan. The evacuation comes following a week of escalating violence, including the death of at least one American citizen.

“Today, on my orders, the United States military conducted an operation to extract U.S. Government personnel from Khartoum,” Biden said in a statement Saturday night. “I am proud of the extraordinary commitment of our Embassy staff, who performed their duties with courage and professionalism and embodied America’s friendship and connection with the people of Sudan,” he continued. “I am grateful for the unmatched skill of our service members who successfully brought them to safety,” Biden said. “And I thank Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia, which were critical to the success of our operation.”

Success? Before we go any further, there is no way we can call this mission a success. And who better to explain why than Joe Biden?

“I am receiving regular reports from my team on their ongoing work to assist Americans in Sudan, to the extent possible,” Biden said, adding that his administration is “also working closely with our allies and partners in this effort.”

That’s right. Once again, Joe Biden left Americans behind. And not just a few.

According to NBC News, an estimated 16,000 Americans were not included in the evacuation of less than 100 diplomatic personnel by Biden. The latest updates from Sudan by his administration indicate that there may be little that can be done now to assist them, except for the hope that a ceasefire will be upheld and the violence will decrease. But hope is not a plan.

Is this what Biden calls a success? There seem to be few options for the Americans left behind. According to the State Department, following the evacuation, it “cannot provide routine or emergency consular services to U.S. citizens in Sudan, due to the current security situation.”

And all the administration seems to be able to do is shrug.

During a late-night briefing, Ambassador John Bass, Biden’s Under Secretary of State for Management, painted a bleak picture for the Americans left behind who now have to fend for themselves in Sudan’s “uncertain environment.” He noted that there is currently an absence of commercial and charter aircraft capabilities or feasible overland road routes to leave the country. According to Under Secretary Bass, this reality compelled the Biden administration to rely on the military’s capabilities to evacuate the diplomatic personnel.

For private American citizens still in Sudan on Sunday morning, Bass couldn’t provide much hope. He reminded them that the State Department had issued a notice over a decade ago, cautioning American citizens not to travel to Sudan. Despite this warning, even the Biden administration was forced to reassess its posture in Sudan when violent fighting erupted in Khartoum a week ago, leading to the evacuation of diplomatic personnel and the suspension of embassy operations.

“We don’t anticipate those security conditions are going to change in the near term,” Bass said. “As a result of that uncertain security picture, as a result of the unavailability of the civilian airport, we don’t foresee coordinating a U.S. Government evacuation for our fellow citizens in Sudan at this time or in the coming days.”

Make no mistake about it: this is Benghazi 2012 all over again; this is Afghanistan 2021 all over again.

And Biden called it a success.

Nearly a year after I wrote this, House hearings made it clear that the Biden administration is still illegally obstructing the Afghanistan watchdog.

In June, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction’s office (SIGAR), dispatched letters to Secretary of State Blinken and Samantha Power complaining that the State Department and USAID were stonewalling its investigation of waste, corruption and terror cash.

“Two SIGAR audits are also being hindered by a lack of cooperation from State and USAID. The first evaluates your agencies’ compliance with the laws and regulations prohibiting transfers of funds to members of the Taliban and the Haqqani Network,” the letter to Power complained.

Instead of turning over the information, Blinken and Power’s people have lawyered up.

“A State official has informed SIGAR that department staff have received internal direction to not engage with or speak to SIGAR without prior clearance from State legal counsel,” the open letter that was also sent to members of Congress revealed.

Illegally refusing to cooperate with an inspector general and then using State Department lawyers to impede any investigation in a matter involving possible terrorist financing is shocking.

Fast forward to late April 2023 and SIGAR is still being illegally obstructed by the Biden regime.

Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) John Sopko told the House Oversight Committee. “Unfortunately, as I sit here today, I cannot assure this committee or the American taxpayer we are not currently funding the Taliban.”

“I don’t trust the Taliban as far as you can throw them. And the information we’re getting … is that the Taliban are already diverting funds,” Sopko told lawmakers. “I haven’t seen a starving Taliban fighter on TV. They all seem to be fat, dumb and happy. I see a lot of starving Afghan children on TV, so I’m wondering where all this funding is going.”

Sopko said the problems with oversight are exacerbated by the State Department and the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) “failure to fully cooperate” with SIGAR audits and other inquiries.

“The lack of cooperation by State … and to a lesser extent USAID, is unprecedented in the nearly 12 years that I have been the SIGAR,” said Sopko, who was appointed to his role in 2012 under the Obama administration.

He said the agency’s refusal to fully cooperate has led to a significant portion of the watchdog’s work, including five reports for the Oversight Committee, being “hindered and delayed.”

In addition to obstructing the Afghanistan watchdog, the Biden administration has decided to also obstruct Congress.

The State Department on Wednesday violated a congressional Republican subpoena to hand over a sensitive diplomatic cable about the U.S. exit from Afghanistan.

The subpoena was issued late last month by chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) and is part of Republican efforts to investigate the Biden administration over the chaotic and deadly pullout from Afghanistan at the end of August 2021.

State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said in a statement to The Hill that, “Discussions with the committee about next steps are ongoing,” and said Secretary of State Antony Blinken offered to brief the chairman and the committee next week on the contents of the dissent cable without providing the actual document.

Discussions are ongoing.

Trump was impeached the first time for a whole lot less than this. We’ve had a lot of talk about impeaching Biden. But these are actually serious grounds for impeachment. The entire Afghanistan mess isn’t behind us, it’s still ongoing and so is the cover-up. Terrorism financing is a serious business and should be taken seriously.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was pleased with herself last October when she announced that Gotion High-Tech, a Chinese EV battery company, was building a plant in Mecosta County. In making the announcement, she said the plant would “strengthen Michigan as the “global hub of mobility and electrification.”

That may be true. But it didn’t impress residents who appear to be almost universally opposed to the idea. It seems that Gotion’s company by-laws contain a curious stricture: Gotion must carry out “Party activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China.”

That didn’t sit well with many local residents, who asked the Michigan Senate Appropriations Committee to vote down the $175 million plan.

“I am gravely disappointed that our representatives are serving the demands of our governor over the request of our citizens. I can attest, however, that our community is now united in ways they would have never been before. They do not want this,” Hannah Saez, the clerk of Big Rapids Township, stated. “Thousands of Michiganders will be watching today. I know you all receive daily emails and phone calls. I know you’re under pressure. I know you’ve probably been coerced. I beg of you to do what is right here even if corruption is knocking at your door.”

During the Michigan state Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, lawmakers led by Democratic state Sen. Sarah Anthony, the panel’s chair, gave final approval of $175 million in taxpayer funding for Gotion — a subsidiary of the Hefei, China-based Gotion High-Tech — to build an electric vehicle (EV) battery plant in Big Rapids. The measure passed in a tight 10-9 vote with every committee Republican and three Democrats voting against it.

The funding was approved after a period in which members of the public were invited to deliver feedback about the project at the hearing. Nearly all the residents who spoke slammed the proposal and expressed concern about a company based in China developing a factory in their state.

“I think that any Chinese communist plant buying up 700 acres of Michigan land is a concern to all citizens throughout the state,” Cheryl Vitito declared. “This CCP-controlled company represents communism and is a threat to our way of life and our God-given and constitutional freedoms. We don’t want the CCP here by way of the Gotion plant as they have no regard for the value and dignity of human life.”

In fact, there appeared to be undue haste in ramming this measure through the committee before opposition forces had time to organize.

Kyle Luce, the supervisor of Barton Township, said 85% of his constituents opposed the plant. “Our citizens are concerned with the timeframe that’s going on here,” said Luce. “The timing seems to be sped up exponentially to, in our opinion, try to seal the deal and get this done before people have a chance to speak out, residents have a chance to speak out. And individuals, the fine senators, are digging up information daily about the CCP involvement.”

“I’m angry,” local resident Marjorie Steele snapped. “I’m angry that this vote was slipped into the agenda today with as little information as possible so that people like me wouldn’t know it was happening. I’m angry that you, our elected officials, have ignored my community’s pleas to table this vote until some small semblance of due diligence can be performed. I can promise you that we will not stop at the local level.”

The Appropriations Committee voted in favor of the proposal 10-9. It now moves on to the full Senate for approval.

The difference between other historical examples and the kind of WEF technocratic totalitarianism we face now, he explains, is the disparity in technological capacity to exert total social control.

RFK Jr. is in possession of an exceedingly rare combination of traits for a politician: deep insight into how American politics work and an equally deep moral character to match.

He is the real deal, in my estimation. It doesn’t matter at all to me that he’s a nominal Democrat because he’s unlike any other mainstream Democrat that I have seen in recent memory, except for perhaps Dennis Kucinich (driven out of the party for not going along with its warmongering and catering to Wall Street).

Roger Stone has recently floated a Trump-RFK ticket for the GOP nomination. While titillating, the problem with this proposition is the disparate positions between the two men on the COVID-19 so-called vaccine.

RFK Jr. has been outspoken since before the rollout of the shots in his criticism of the rushed trial process and the obvious collusion between Pfizer, Moderna, and the regulatory agencies tasked with overseeing them.

Trump, on the other hand, not only spearheaded Operation Warpspeed, which delivered the shots to market in less than a year when the average testing period for new vaccines has always been 10-15 years; he also publicly bragged about his alleged accomplishment over and over and over, as late as last year, before he finally stopped talking about it altogether because of the political damage he was doing to himself.

Yes, the Deep State hates Trump because, unlike nearly every major political figure from either party, he is both beyond the control of the power structure and immensely popular with a large swathe of the electorate. He is therefore a potential asset to the populist movement.

However, Trump is not a visionary leader. He’s mostly a narcissistic self-dealer with an extraordinary flair for guerrilla marketing. He’s a showman above all with, ironically, better political instincts than most Swamp creatures who’ve spent their whole careers practicing their best impression of a likable, relatable real American straight from Main Street USA.

As Tucker Carlson noted, Trump is very good at destroying things and not so great at building them. He’s a human wrecking ball, in short — perhaps what we needed in 2016 to break the corrupt corporate state duopoly, which he did admirably, but lacking in the kind of long-term strategic vision that would make a meaningful difference in American politics.

Assuming that bringing RFK Jr. onto the Trump 2024 ticket could actually be useful for shaping Trump’s policy and personnel decision-making (which is sorely lacking given the kind of people like Jared Kushner he surrounded himself with the first go-round), RFK Jr. could do immensely beneficial things in his role as VP candidate.

Just close your eyes and imagine, for an indulgent moment, an RFK Jr. vs. Kamala Harris VP debate. It would be a bloodbath. On one hand, viewers would see a clearly principled man with an impressive depth of knowledge and, on the other, a vapid career climber who (allegedly) slept her way to the top of the Democrat Party and can barely spit out a sentence that doesn’t sound like it was manufactured in some think tank focus group.

That alone could be enough to sway voters on the fence — even Democrat ones — to vote the right way in 2024.

We may never know the full story of just how corrupt this superannuated kleptocrat who pretends to be president of the United States and his family really are, but now House Republicans are expanding their investigation of the Biden crime organization — oh, sorry, they call it the Biden “family,” you know, like the Gambino “family” — to include more of Old Joe’s relatives. At the very least, we should get a glimpse into how “the public service” today is a highly lucrative endeavor for an amoral, unscrupulous liar such as Old Joe.

Tristan Justice reported in The Federalist Tuesday that House Republicans “are expanding their investigation of the Biden family to include ‘six additional members’ who ‘may have benefitted’ from potentially criminal business enterprises.” That’s on top of the ongoing investigations into the activities of Old Joe himself, Hunter, and the putative president’s brother Jim Biden. The UK’s Daily Mail reported back in February that Jim Biden “was hired to engage in secret negotiations with the Saudi government on behalf of a US construction company because of his relationship with the then vice president, legal documents claim.” Influence peddling? Sure looks like it.

Jim got the nod for this task because, according to an affidavit, the Saudis “would not dare stiff the brother of the Vice-President who would be instrumental to the deal.” All this involved Jim’s role in a 2012 “$140 million settlement negotiation between Hill International,” the American construction firm in question, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nothing to see here! Move along!

On Monday, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, announced that “thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family, their companies, and associates’ business schemes were made available to members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which confirm the importance of this investigation.” Within those thousands of pages, apparently, is evidence of how comprehensively the Biden family has benefited from Old Joe’s fifty years of fattening at the public trough.

“The Biden family enterprise,” Comer continued, “is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family. We’ve identified six additional members of Joe Biden’s family who may have benefited from the Biden family’s businesses that we are investigating, bringing the total number of those involved or benefiting to nine.”

Unfortunately, Comer didn’t name the six new Bidens who are under investigation, but I can reveal here that four of their names are Santino (“Sonny”), Fredo, Michael, and Connie. (If you don’t get it, go watch The Godfather already.)

Comer doesn’t appear to be finished. It’s even conceivable that more members of the Biden crime family could end up being involved. Comer added: “The Oversight Committee will continue to pursue additional bank records to follow the Bidens’ tangled web of financial transactions to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors and if there is a national security threat. We will soon provide the public with more information about what we’ve uncovered to date. The American people need transparency and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will deliver much-needed answers.” That will be most interesting. Let’s hope we’ll be able to get the whole story over the news of the latest bogus Trump indictment or another episode in Old Joe’s new distract-‘em-with-an-overseas-trip tactic.

Comer has previously revealed that “according to bank documents we’ve already obtained, we know one company owned by a Biden associate received a $3 million dollar wire from a Chinese energy company two months after Joe Biden left the vice presidency.” What a coincidence! If only we had some journalists who would dare to ask Old Joe, or at the very least Karine Jean-Pierre, about all this. But those who bear the name are too busy working to maintain the pretense that Biden is a competent president. Taking on the massive duty of also having to portray him as honest, upright, and not corrupt is likely far beyond even their well-developed powers to deceive and mislead.

Yesterday, I wrote about the bombshell story involving a senior IRS supervisor who was seeking whistleblower protection from Congress for information that would contradict the sworn testimony of a “senior political appointee” as well as “preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.”

Now, the New York Post has been able to discover the name of that senior political appointee. As I speculated yesterday, the political appointee is U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has continually assured Congress that there was no political interference in the IRS investigation of Hunter Biden.

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, a Trump holdover, is heading up the Justice Department probe into the younger Biden.

In April 2022, the AG told Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) that “there will not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the investigation of Hunter Biden led by Weiss.

“He is the supervisor of this investigation,” Garland said of Weiss, adding, “We put the investigation in the hands of a Trump appointee from the previous administration, who is the US attorney for the District of Delaware, and … you have me as the attorney general, who is committed to the independence of the Justice Department from any influence from the White House in criminal matters.”

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley asked Garland in March whether Weiss could bring charges against Hunter Biden without the approval of other DoJ officials even if the crime took place outside of Delaware.

“In April 2022, you testified to Sen. Hagerty that the Hunter Biden investigation was insulated from political interference because it was assigned, as you just now told me, to the Delaware US attorney’s office,” Grassley said at the time.

“However, that could be misleading.”

“Without special counsel authority, he could need the permission of another US attorney in certain circumstances to bring charges outside the District of Delaware.”

Garland responded, “The US attorney in Delaware has been advised that he has full authority to make those kinds of referrals that you’re talking about or to bring cases in other jurisdictions if he feels it’s necessary. And I will assure you that if he does, he will be able to do that.”

If the whistleblower can prove that any of that is false — and it’s assumed he has some kind of documentary proof that it is — Garland, at the very least, could be forced to resign. Not only did he make the claim of “no interference” to Hagerty, but he also made it several times.

Giving false testimony to Congress can be a crime punishable by up to five years in prison if it’s proven that the error was intentional.

The Justice Department declined to comment.

The anonymous whistleblower has since early 2020 supervised the IRS’s investigation of Hunter Biden for alleged tax evasion and related crimes linked to the 53-year-old’s foreign income from countries including China and Ukraine.

Weiss’ office reportedly is considering related charges against the first son involving money laundering and unregistered foreign lobbying, plus lying about drug use on a gun-purchase form.

It was obvious to anyone that the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the New York Post revealed before the 2020 presidential election, were completely legitimate, but thanks to a letter from 51 intelligence officials warning that Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian misinformation,” big tech and the mainstream media had covered to suppress and censor the story. We were led to believe this was an independent effort by these former intelligence officials.

On Thursday night, the House Judiciary Committee revealed that according to testimony from former CIA director Mike Morell, it was the Biden campaign and Antony Blinken, now Secretary of State, who were the driving forces behind the letter pushing the false claim that Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

According to the Judiciary Committee, Morell informed them that Blinken, who was a senior campaign official at the time, reached out to him after the New York Post published articles revealing information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop about shady overseas business dealings, influence peddling, and, of course, salacious photos and video of Hunter with prostitutes.

Morell admitted that he organized the letter and its signatories with the intention of helping then-Vice President Biden because “he wanted to win the election.” He used his influence to convince his colleagues to sign the letter with the false claims to help the Biden campaign win.

“Morell further explained that one of his two goals in releasing the statement was to help then-Vice President Biden in the debate and to assist him in winning the election,” Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Mike Turner (R-Ohio) wrote in their letter to Blinken.

According to the letter, Morell testified there were “two intents” with the letter. “One intent was to share our concern with the American people that the Russians were playing on this issue; and, two, it was to help Vice President Biden.”

When asked why he wanted to help Biden, Morell testified, “Because I wanted him to win the election.”

According to Morell, he only decided to take action and organize the letter, as well as exonerate Biden from allegations related to his son’s laptop, after Blinken contacted him. He said that his conversation with Blinken “triggered… that intent.”

The letter’s usage by Big Tech and the media to discredit and suppress the story was merely the tip of the iceberg. The Biden campaign also cited the letter they orchestrated as proof the laptop was “Russian disinformation” even though they were well aware of the laptop’s authenticity. The connection between these efforts and Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, as well as current Secretary of State Antony Blinken, is incredibly disturbing, as this may very well be one of the most significant instances of legitimate election interference in our nation’s history.

Calvary Chapel in San Jose, Calif., is a large evangelical church that defied state and local orders to mask up during services and maintain “social distancing.” Of course, we now know that mask-wearing was about as effective against spreading COVID-19 as wearing a necklace of newt entrails and “social distancing” was a bad joke.

But it’s not the science. It’s that the church defied authorities. So now Calvary must pay the state of California $1.2 million in fines because they got bureaucrats mad at them.

So there.

Is there anyone who doesn’t think $1.2 million for not wearing masks is fair? Is it even reasonable? Vindictiveness should not be a part of the American judicial system ever, and no rational, sane person can say that a $1.2 million fine for disobeying COVID-19 mitigation efforts that have now been found to be wildly ineffective is anything but judicial vengeance.

Associated Press:

Calvary Chapel sued the county, arguing the health orders violated its religious freedom. Various courts have ruled either in favor the church or the county.

The church and its pastors were previously held in contempt of court and fined for violating limits on indoor public gatherings. But a state appellate court reversed those decisions last year, saying that the restrictions on indoor worship services were stricter than for secular activities such as going to grocery stores.

The county continued to seek fines for violations of mask-wearing regulations.

The judge wrote an opinion that was so 2020.

“It should appear clear to all — regardless of religious affiliation — that wearing a mask while worshiping one’s god and communing with other congregants is a simple, unobtrusive, giving way to protect others while still exercising your right to religious freedom,” Superior Court Judge Evette D. Pennypacker wrote in the April 7 ruling imposing the fines.

The judge was doin’ the time warp with County Counsel James Williams.

“The county’s response to the pandemic, including the health officer’s public health orders and enforcement against entities that refused to follow the law, saved thousands of lives and resulted in one of the lowest death rates of any community in the United States,” Williams said.

That there’s no evidence for that is immaterial. It sounds wonderful.

But this is all about obedience and Calvary refused to obey and encouraged others to disobey. The church, Judge Pennypacker wrote, flouted public health orders “and urged others to do so ‘who cares what the cost,’ including death.”

Take that, you devout Christians, you.

That bit about “who cares what the cost including death” is not applying any law — it’s a rhetorical flourish in a legal opinion that doesn’t belong. Pennypacker is way off the reservation by claiming that the Calvary church leaders didn’t care if people died. That’s a ludicrous statement and reveals the judge’s anger that her previous orders were not obeyed.

Anger has no place in a legal opinion.

This one will make its way through the courts and may even wind up at the Supreme Court. What’s certain is that these fines are meant to retaliate against a group of people who defied public health orders.

Italy declares state of emergency amid migrant invasion

Italy needs to do what Hungary has done: shut the door to illegal migration. It makes a mockery of a country’s immigration system, sending an open invitation to jump the queue, inviting in the worst criminal and jihadist elements, and is economically unsustainable in the long run. Italy’s problem is longstanding. In 2021, nonstop Muslim migrant landings in Lampedusa became a “situation is out of control.” Lampedusa remains the problem area, as well as the entire South coast of Sicily.

Ignoring the problem has not made it go away, and now Italy is under a state of emergency in hopes of stopping the hijrah.

Italy declared a nationwide state of emergency on Tuesday for the next six months following the exceptional increase in migrants continuously arriving via the Mediterranean routes.

On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni (FDI/ECR) declared a national state of emergency on immigration after the Civil Protection and Sea Policies Minister Nello Musumeci proposed it. The decision also comes after a meeting between Musumeci and Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi.

The state of emergency will be financed with an initial €5 million in funding.

“Let’s be clear. The problem is not solved, the solution to which is linked only to a conscious and responsible intervention by the European Union”, Musumeci said after the government decided on the state of emergency.

“There is a condition of absolute emergency. It is not a new fact (…) It is a problem destined not to be exhausted for at least the next ten years”, the minister told Radio Anch’io, stressing the need to “neutralise the mafia of the scapegoats”.

Last February, the Italian parliament approved the so-called ‘Code of Conduct for NGOs’ – a government decree establishing a code of conduct for ships intervening to rescue migrants – despite criticism from the UN and humanitarian groups.

Migration flows in recent months have strained State structures, according to Musumeci, who called for a “responsible approach” towards migrants and their rights.

In particular, the minister highlighted the difficulty in managing the flows arriving at the islands – Lampedusa and the entire southern coast of Sicily – areas where first reception hotspots are constantly collapsing.

The Easter weekend was busy for national authorities, with boats breaking down and migrants at sea whereby about 2,000 people were rescued….

Documents leaked by Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira reveal that the Biden administration knew of at least three other Chinese surveillance balloons, including one that spied on a U.S. carrier strike group in the Pacific Ocean and another that crashed in the South China Sea. The U.S. conducts a lot of naval exercises in that area.

The documents also showed that as of February, the Pentagon had no idea what some of the sensors on the balloon were capable of. The intelligence community designated the balloon that flew over the U.S. as Killeen-23, and they know there was a large parabolic dish and a possible mast antenna, but since there is no imagery of what was on the bottom of the balloon, it’s unknown if there were any optical instruments.

Washington Post:

A document produced by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and dated Feb. 15 — 10 days after the Air Force shot down the balloon that flew over the United States — contains the most detailed government assessment to date of Killeen-23 and two balloons from previous years, labeled Bulger-21 and Accardo-21. It was not clear from the documents if Bulger-21 and Accardo-21 were the same balloons that flew over the carrier strike group and crashed.

Bulger-21 carried sophisticated surveillance equipment and circumnavigated the globe from December 2021 until May 2022, the NGA document states. Accardo-21 carried similar equipment as well as a “foil-lined gimbaled” sensor, it says.

For some reason, the NGA named the Chinese balloons after famous mobsters: Tony Accardo, James “Whitey” Bulger, and Donald Killeen. But it’s unsettling that, even with a substantial portion of the Killeen-23 balloon in our possession, we’re still unable to figure out what some of the sensors are supposed to do.

Another interesting item from the leaked documents is that the Chinese government was probably unaware of Killeen-23’s transcontinental trip across the U.S.

The incursion of the spy balloon into U.S. airspace in late January probablycaught elements of China’s government by surprise, according to a third document that relies on intercepted communications. Knowledge of the incursion was likely “heavily stovepiped” within the Chinese military, which lacks “strong senior” oversight of the surveillance balloon program, the document assessed, adding that some in the Chinese government viewed their Foreign Ministry’s response as poor for allowing the crisis to be “sensationalized.”

The leaked NGA document contains an image taken by Bulger-21 that appears to connect to one of the sanctioned companies that were targeted after the balloon became public.

The lack of detailed conclusions about the balloon’s surveillance capabilities raises questions about the decision to let it fly over the United States before shooting it down, an action the Defense Department justified at the time as an opportunity to collect additional intelligence.

Engineers at the National Space Intelligence Center, which is affiliated with the Space Force, assessed that the solar panels on Killeen-23 could generate upward of 10,000 watts of solar power, more than enough to operate any surveillance capability, including synthetic aperture radar, according to the document.

This drip, drip, drip of revelations about the leaked documents is eventually going to send the Biden administration into full-court damage control. There is still much to unpack, including the kind of surveillance we used to spy on some of our friends like Israel and even Ukraine.

What evidence exists that All Arab News works with jihadis?

The leading advisor on the Advisory Board for All Arab News is Mohammad bin al Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League.

The Muslim World League (MWL) was created in Saudi Arabia in 1962 by Saudi leadership and the International Muslim Brotherhood. The MWL’s Secretary General is appointed by the Saudi Crown Prince, and MWL is directly tied to the Saudi government. The MWL has many “humanitarian” and “relief” organizations as a part of its network, many of which have had their assets frozen by the U.S. government for directly supporting significant terrorist operations worldwide. Finally, the Muslim World League is directly tied to senior Al Qaeda leadership and terrorist organizations and operations around the world.

To be clear, numerous international Saudi charities controlled by the Saudi government have been directly implicated in terrorist attacks against U.S. interests around the world over the last 30 years.

Mohammed bin al Issa’s Muslim World League is at the center of much of this activity.

At the international level, The MWL’s Secretary General Mohammad Al Issa works closely with the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, the World Council of Churches, the World Food Programme, the International Federation of Red Cross, and Red Crescent Societies, and others.

This is the “key advisor” to All Arab News – which purports to be a “Christian” media outlet.

Another key advisor for All Arab News is His Excellency Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi, the first Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders.

Some of the most well-known Islamic scholars and supporters of the global jihad sit on the Muslim Council of Elders, including:

Chairman, “His Eminence” Grand Imam Shaikh of al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed al-Tayyib. Al Azhar is the oldest and most prestigious university of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence on the planet. Al Azhar teaches that “warfare against non-muslims” is obligatory for all Muslims until “Allah’s divine law”/sharia is imposed on every human on earth. Specifically, “Now if the deeds of the jihad – including fighting the infidels and breaking their spine through all possible means – are permissible according to Sharia, then it is impossible to define those acts as terrorism.”
Dr. Abdullah Nassif (also Naseef). Nassif is one of the founders and senior leaders of the Rabita Trust and the International Islamic Council for Dawa and Relief (IICDR), both of which fund Al Qaeda, Hamas, and other terrorist organizations. The Rabita Trust is a part of the Muslim World League and has been identified by the U.S. and other governments as supporting terrorism.
Dr. Abdallah bin Bayyah. Bayyah serves in senior leadership positions in the International Muslim Brotherhood’s International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), Global Center for Renewal and Guidance (GCRG), and several other leading Muslim Brotherhood organizations overseeing operations in Europe.

The alignment of bad actors in positions of national leadership and influence in the U.S. evangelical community is preparing their next action steps coordinated with the communist Movement, including controlled opposition (read “republican leadership”), in accordance with the Muslim World League (MWL) and the General Secretary’s Global Interfaith Operations.

The MWL Secretary General – Mohammad al Issa – has penetrated conservative Christian leadership circles and solidified their support. Meanwhile, the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood leaders – specifically the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) – continue to create “partnerships” in the Christian community – Catholic, protestant, and evangelical/non-denominational alike – in order to subvert and hinder their efforts, and advance already established information operations.

The adhan, prayed in Arabic, repeats “Allahu akbar” six times, “I testify that there is no god but Allah” three times, and “I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s prophet” twice.

Dr. Gavin Ashenden, a former chaplain to the British queen, who resigned his position in protest against a Qur’an reading in a Scottish church, observed that “the Muslim call to prayer is a dramatic piece of Islamic triumphalism. It proclaims Islam’s superiority over all other religions, and in so doing casts Jesus in the role of a charlatan and a liar. The Muslim god, Allah, is unknowable and has no son. Jesus was, therefore, a fraud in claiming He and the Father are one.”

Is Minneapolis really wise to broadcast repeatedly a declaration of the superiority of Islam, a faith that directs its adherents to make war against Christians and other non-Muslims and subjugate them as inferiors under the hegemony of believers (cf. Qur’an 9:29)?

Is Minneapolis wise to broadcast the cry “Allahu akbar,” beloved of jihad terrorists the world over? Chief 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta wrote this in his letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission: “When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.” This is why the Fort Hood jihad killer, Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted it as he shot thirteen Americans in November 2009, and why so many other jihadis have used it essentially as an announcement that non-Muslims are about to die.

Religious leaders explained the fact it’s happening during Ramadan makes it even more special for the Muslim community, and they’re hoping other cities across the country follow suit….

“For something this historic to go this easy is an incredibly powerful and a testament of who we are in the city of Minneapolis,” Jaylani Hussein, the executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN), said.

The newly passed ordinance expands the number of times a mosque can play a call to prayer on a loudspeaker from three or four times per day to five, year-round….

“It is really important for the city to approach all issues from a lens of ensuring equal access for all people,” Aisha Chughtai, a Minneapolis City Council member, said in a Thursday meeting.

The ordinance was authored by Chughtai in collaboration with two other council members, who all make up the Muslim Caucus.

“I think it just adds to the fabric of who we are here in the city of Minneapolis — that Muslims are a part of the community and they live here,” Hussein said.

There are plans for Mayor Jacob Frey to give the ordinance the final stamp of approval on Monday.

We’re used to seeing the establishment media cheerlead for Democrat administrations, but Bloomberg went above and beyond on Wednesday with an article that was condescendingly entitled “Terrorists Crossing the US Border? Rising Encounters Explained.” Gather round, you rubes, and let your moral and intellectual superiors explain away what your lying eyes are showing you! “Skyrocketing terrorist watch list hits at US borders are fueling fear and condemnation of Biden immigration policies,” the Bloomberg article said, but don’t worry: there isn’t any reason to lose confidence in Old Joe and his henchmen: “border buffs dispute whether the numbers indicate a serious threat.” Oh, well then!

When the media starts running spurious explainers of this kind, it’s a sign that they’re feeling the heat. People are noticing how terrorists are taking advantage of the Biden regime’s nonexistent Southern border, and so the “experts” must be called in to reassure everyone that the Left has things completely under control.

First, Bloomberg gives us the bad news: “The US Border Patrol reported almost 100 encounters last fiscal year of people whose names appeared on the federal government’s official list of known or suspected terrorists and their associates, up from 16 the previous year.” And those bad old patriots are pouncing, as they do: “The watch list hits represent a tiny percentage of overall encounters of people trying to cross the border without authorization but provide powerful ammunition for President Joe Biden’s critics, who say the administration’s policies have created a chaos at the border and undermined national security.”

But then Bloomberg gives us the good news: sensible people, that is, Leftists, know there is nothing to worry about: “The Department of Homeland Security maintains that the rise in terrorist watch list hits simply corresponds to the overall increase in border crossings and each encounter doesn’t actually represent a terrorist attempting to enter the US. Many immigration and national security specialists have concurred, cautioning the American public and elected officials against reading too much into the data.”

Got it? People on terror watch lists crossing the border don’t actually represent terrorists attempting to enter the country! Bloomberg doesn’t bother to explain what they actually do represent. Instead, they trot out “former DHS official Tom Warrick, now at the Atlantic Council,” who tells us reassuringly: “There is no particular reason to fear that the numbers directly translate into an increased security threat.” Not directly!

Bloomberg also quoted Stewart Baker, a senior DHS official during the George W. Bush administration, saying that “the worst possible interpretation: people who are watching this, al-Qaeda for example, saying, ‘Well, what better way to get our people in, send them across the border.’” But he immediately dismissed that possibility. Bloomberg added: “Many individuals on the terrorist watch list may not present actual threats, but DHS doesn’t release enough data to say for sure, Baker said. The agency doesn’t publish information about watch list encounters’ countries of origin or what happened after agents apprehended them.”

Meanwhile, no matter what these media-anointed experts are saying, there are all kinds of other threats that are directly increasing. Last Wednesday, Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted some figures showing just how bad the border area has become:

Significant numbers for just 2 days!

This was just an ordinary couple of days at the border, and Ortiz doesn’t even mention the terrorists. Fox News reported last October that “the number of migrant encounters at the U.S. southern border climbed to a record more than 227,000 during the month of September and more than 2.3 million for the fiscal year 2022, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.” That data also shows that “there were 20 known or suspected terrorists arrested at the southern border in September, bringing the total terror watchlist arrests at the border for the fiscal year 2022 to 98. The number of terror watchlist arrests at the border for the last five years combined was 26.”
