Blinken leaves for Middle East to ‘rebuild ties’ with Palestinians

This is the chief reason Blinken is visiting the Middle East, according to the White House:

“He will continue our Administration’s efforts to rebuild ties to, and support for, the Palestinian people and leaders, after years of neglect.”

“After years of neglect” is a slap to the Trump Administration, which rightly withdrew funds to the Palestinians for being entrenched in the jihad against Israel.

The Reuters report below is also yet another example of media avoiding the full picture. The report does not discuss the White House objective with the Palestinians. Instead, it begins by advancing a position of moral equivalence, in stating that Blinken’s trip is “to meet with Israeli and Palestinian officials.” It needs to be recognized and remembered that this is not an equal conflict. It is Israel being repeatedly attacked since 1948 and retaliating to defend its citizens.

Blinken will also discuss “international effort to ensure immediate assistance reaches Gaza in a way that benefits the people there and not Hamas.”  Although the White House outwardly expresses hopes that Hamas will not benefit, it knows full well that Gaza is ruled by Hamas, and that Hamas will inevitably benefit. It is a boost to Hamas to know that it can repeatedly launch attacks against Israel civilians, wounding and killing civilians intentionally, and then count on the United States under Biden (and the UN) to come to the rescue. Hamas also has Iran funding it.

It is Hamas that is responsible for the damage in the first place, including its monstrous use of Palestinian citizens as human shields. The current administration has no understanding of the longstanding Islamic religious war against Jews, or of the Palestinian culture of martyrdom, or of the disregard jihadists have for human life, especially that of kaffirs.

“Biden sends Blinken to Middle East amid Gaza ceasefire,” Reuters, May 24, 2921:

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will leave for the Middle East on Monday to meet with Israeli and Palestinian officials, among other regional leaders, as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas appeared to hold for the fourth straight day.

Blinken will travel to Jerusalem, Ramallah, Cairo and Amman through Thursday and meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah, the State Department said.

U.S. President Joe Biden, in announcing the visit, said he had asked the top U.S. diplomat to make the trip following diplomatic efforts that sought to pause the worst outbreak in fighting between Israel and Hamas in year. read more

“Blinken will meet with Israeli leaders about our ironclad commitment to Israel’s security. He will continue our administration’s efforts to rebuild ties to, and support for, the Palestinian people and leaders after years of neglect,” Biden said in a statement released by the White House.

Blinken will also discuss “international effort to ensure immediate assistance reaches Gaza in a way that benefits the people there and not Hamas, and on reducing the risk of further conflict in the coming months,” Biden added.

Gaza is ruled by Hamas….

“Statement by President Joe Biden on Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s Visit to the Middle East,” The White House, May 24, 2021:

Following up on our quiet, intensive diplomacy to bring about a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, I have asked my Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, to travel to the Middle East this week. During his trip, Secretary Blinken will meet with Israeli leaders about our ironclad commitment to Israel’s security. He will continue our Administration’s efforts to rebuild ties to, and support for, the Palestinian people and leaders, after years of neglect. And he will engage other key partners in the region, including on the coordinated international effort to ensure immediate assistance reaches Gaza…

Biden Demanded Israel Cancel Jerusalem Day Parade and End Evictions of Illegal Muslim Occupiers

Thus far the only difference between the Obama strategy and the Biden strategy on Israel is appearances.

Obama made a point of picking public fights with Netanyahu in order to justify a breach with Israel, while Biden makes statements publicly supporting Israel while doing the dirty work behind the scenes. A lot of Biden administration policies come from staffers, but this one has the feel of coming from Biden. It was also the way that the Clinton administration handled things with Israel.

Biden comes more from the Clinton era than the Obama era. While Obama was looking for a series of public fights to change the party’s perception of Israel, Biden doesn’t have that kind of big-picture radical agenda (that’s not to say that his staffers don’t). The victory lap that the Biden administration has been taking in the media has been all about how they pressured Israel in private while supporting it in public.

How nasty was that pressure? The Israelis don’t have much to say, but Biden’s people are happy to leak as much as they can.

The Biden administration’s pressure on Israel began on May 10. Well before the conflict.

The Biden administration had three immediate demands of Israel: stop the evictions in Sheikh Jarrah, lower tensions on the Temple Mount and cancel the annual Jerusalem Day flag parade, during which Israeli nationalists celebrate the unification of Jerusalem under Israeli control.

Telling a sovereign country to stop a court decision and cancel a parade is obscene. And Biden was doing this well before the fighting took off.

As I discussed in this weekend’s article, The Anti-Israel Left Supports Ethnic Cleansing in Jerusalem, the evictions were about reclaiming Jewish property seized by Jordan and the UN after the invasion of Jerusalem.

The Jordanians desecrated the synagogues of East Jerusalem, used Jewish tombstones to pave roads, and seized Jewish property through their Custodian of Enemy Property.

In 1956, UNRWA worked with the Jordanian occupiers to settle “Palestinian refugees” in this Jewish neighborhood. The UN agency had been entirely dedicated to caring for the Arab Muslim settlers who had failed in their invasion of Israel and was settling them in violation of international law in the homes of the Jewish residents who had fled the illegal occupation.

Once the UNRWA had “resettled” its “refugees” in homes stolen from their Jewish owners through ethnic cleansing, it deemed them to no longer be refugees. The actual refugees however were the Jewish residents who had their homes stolen by the UNRWA.

The issue had gone through the courts for generations. Biden was ordering Israel to shut down a court decision.

While Israeli officials briefed reporters at the time that Ben-Shabbat had rejected Sullivan’s requests, viewing them as rewards for terrorists, Netanyahu in fact complied on May 10. He asked the Supreme Court to postpone its verdict on the evictions, banned visits by Jews to the Temple Mount and rerouted the flag parade so it wouldn’t pass through the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City.

I’m not at all surprised. As usual, appeasing terrorists and Democrats didn’t do much good. The fighting went on and Israel got blamed.

Biden followed a dual strategy: backing Israel in public and while urging Netanyahu in private to end the operation as soon as possible and minimize civilian casualties.

The duality here refers to the two sides of Biden’s mouth.

But there’s really nothing unusual about this. It’s how these things went under Democrat administrations and most Republican administrations. Republican administrations were somewhat more sympathetic but ultimately went back to the same pattern. The Trump administration broke that pattern and actually let Israel defend itself. But now we’re right back to the same familiar territory in which Israel is prevented from fighting back and blamed for everything no matter what steps it takes to appease the administration or the terrorists and to limit civilian casualties and the scope of the conflict.

As Biden ‘Rebuilds’ Gaza Infrastructure, Hamas Brags It Turned Water Pipes Into Rockets

After the war comes the reconstruction.

That means pouring money into Gaza while insisting that none of the money will go to Hamas and that none of the humanitarian aid will be used for terrorist purposes. It’s just rebuilding infrastructure. Meanwhile, Hamas keeps boasting about how it turns infrastructure into terrorism.

Terrorists’ ability to turn seemingly innocent household commodities into the tools of terror has always created a challenge for peaceful states fighting terror. Fertilizer has been used to build lethal bombs and instead of using tons of cement that Israel permitted into the Gaza Strip for the building of homes, schools and factories, Hamas built 100 kilometers of terror tunnels that Israel destroyed in the recent war.

Now there is another seemingly innocuous construction material that has joined the arsenal of terror: water pipes. There were some reports that Israel was surprised by the high number of rockets – 4,300 – that Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists had in their arsenals to launch against civilians in Israeli cities in the recent 11-day Gaza war. Now the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad has explained this: He bragged that the “resistance engineers” have turned “water pipes… into the rockets that you see.”

Time to rebuild that “infrastructure.”

The United Nations said it had released $22.5 million, which would go towards rebuilding damaged water and electricity infrastructure and disposing of explosive ordnance.

The ordnance can go into the infrastructure. That’s how it works.

President Joe Biden told a White House briefing on Friday that a two-state solution was the only answer to resolving the deep-rooted conflict.

“I’m praying this cease-fire will hold,” he said, before pledging U.S. support to help rebuild Gaza, which is governed by the terrorist group Hamas

It’ll hold until enough of Gaza is “rebuilt” for Hamas to rebuild more rockets.

Stop Jew-Hate: End Islamist Immigration

Filling American cities with anti-Semitic Muslim mobs

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

In 2015, The Atlantic ran a cover story titled, "Is It Time for the Jews to Leave Europe?"

In 2021, the question is whether it’s time for the Jews to leave New York and Los Angeles.

The magazine cover story mentioned Malmo. Most stories about antisemitism in Europe reference the Swedish city whose Jewish population dropped from 3,000 to barely 800. Current estimates are that Malmo will have no Jews left by the end of the decade as its population flees Muslim mob violence, firebombings, and random assaults: including 100 aimed at its sole rabbi.

“I hear students shouting in the hallway about killing Jews,” a public school teacher described. Firebombs are routinely thrown at Jewish institutions. Mobs have torn down gates to try to smash their way inside. A Swedish journalist who conducted a hidden camera investigation of what happens to anyone visibly Jewish was harassed within moments of sitting down to eat.

Americans who wondered how this could happen in Europe are now seeing it at home.

There’s nothing confusing about ‘how’ or ‘why’. Or as a CBC article about Malmo gingerly put it, “Anti-Semitism in Malmö reveals flaws in Swedish immigration system”. There are equally big flaws in our immigration system and too many Jewish groups have wasted time on outreach instead of working toward immigration reform to stop the ‘Malmoization’ of New York and LA.

Estimates of the size of the Muslim population in the United States doubled since 9/11.

Islamists claim that there are over 750,000 Muslim settlers in New York City, making up around 9% of the population, and operating hundreds of mosques across the five boroughs. Those numbers may be overstated, but there’s no denying that there are far more Muslims now. And much of the growth has happened at the lower end leading to a large young male population.

The viral videos of antisemitic attacks by mobs of young Muslim men are the outcome.

Like many European cities, New York City now has a large, angry population of young Muslim men who are looking to lash out. And Jews are an easy target. When Waseem Awawdeh was arrested over a vicious assault on a Jewish accountant, he declared, “If I could do it again, I would do it again,” and then received a hero's welcome on his release.

New York City now hosts the largest Muslim population in the country. Los Angeles, the scene of more antisemitic mob attacks, hosts another of the country’s largest Muslim populations. Before 9/11, there were less than 100,000 Muslims in Los Angeles County. Even accounting for Islamist overestimates, the number has grown significantly.

Like NYC, LA is becoming ‘Malmoized’.

There are still enough Jews in both cities that the Democrat politicians offer token condemnations and ask the local police to make a few arrests. As the demographics continue to shift away from Jews and toward Muslims, they’ll react the way that Ilmar Reepalu, Malmo's former mayor did when he blamed Israel for the antisemitic attacks on Jews by Muslims.

The AOC crowd already echoes this type of rhetoric on social media. And George Soros, who funds much of the American Left, had made this exact argument two decades ago. “Attitudes toward the Jewish community are influenced by the pro-Israel lobby’s success in suppressing divergent views,” the former Nazi collaborator had argued.

But that’s only to be expected of an antisemitic movement. American Jews however spent a generation watching European Jews being driven out and did little with that time. After all these years of consuming articles about the fate of the Jews of Paris, Berlin, and Malmo, they went on supporting mass Muslim migration because they were told it was the right thing to do.

When President Trump tried to implement a ban on travel from Muslim terror states, the ZOA became the only Jewish organization to file a Supreme Court brief in defense of the move.

The ADL signed on to every HIAS push against the move to protect Americans from Islamic terror, alongside anti-Israel groups like J Street, Soros' Bend the Arc, and T'ruah. HIAS, T’ruah, and Avodah, a feeder group for the anti-Israel movement funded by Steven Spielberg, showed up to a Linda Sarsour protest. Rallying for Muslim migration mattered more than antisemitism.

While Orthodox Jews stayed out of the protests, not counting Uri L’Tzedek, a component of the heretical leftist Yeshivat Chovevei Torah crowd, the Orthodox Union’s Nathan Diament put out a shameful statement comparing Syrian migrants to Jews fleeing the Nazi Holocaust.

Fortunately, the National Council of Young Israel took a stand, calling the obscene analogy “highly offensive to those Jews who survived Nazi persecution.”

As I wrote at the time, “when one of Diament’s migrants attacks Jews, they will not be able to say, ‘Our hands did not shed this blood and our eyes did not see it.’” Now the blood is being shed and the OU is co-signing letters calling for an antisemitism monitor as if the problem lies in a lack of monitoring rather than the inevitable crisis of Islamist immigration and demographics.

American Jews have followed the same failed strategy as European Jews.

"After two Muslim teenagers attempted to set fire to Malmo’s synagogue last March, HaCohen and Barakat telephoned their school principal, then visited the class the next day to discuss the incident. 'We did not point out the kids,' Barakat says, explaining they used the time to give a lesson about anti-Semitism, rather than punish them,” a Time Magazine article cheerfully notes.

The suicidal hobby of handing out lessons about antisemitism to synagogue burners continues.

Integrating the fight against antisemitism into broader leftist movements against bigotry has failed miserably because the central premise of intersectionality and anti-racism is that some people, privileged white people in general and Jews in particular, deserve to be hated.

The collapse of a liberal middle class into dueling Marxist and Fascist youth mobs is mainstreaming antisemitism in America the way that it already has in Europe. But the heavy lifting will still be done by young men whose parents came here from Iraq, Pakistan, or Gaza that we’ve seen assaulting random Jewish people in New York and Los Angeles.

The cries of “Kill Jews, Free Palestine” are not a horrid aberration: they’re the new normal.

The one thing that could have stopped this and perhaps still might would be for American Jews to be willing to say the unspeakable: that some people belong in this country and others don’t.

The idea that immigration should be a mutual social contract instead of a suicide pact is profoundly alien to everything that millions of Americans, Jews and Christians, have absorbed over the years. Beyond the Christian churches and HIAS which lobby to resettle more Islamists in America, much of the country is wedded to the idea that we must take anyone who comes.

But when we take anyone who comes, then we’re the ones who get taken for a ride.

While our streets are filled with the homeless and unemployed Americans are dying of drug overdoses at record rates, churches and temples lecture their parishioners on their moral duty to bring more Iraqis, Syrians, and Pakistanis to America. But 9/11 and the occasional terror attack in a major city are just the appetizers of Islamist demographic colonization.

The next stage, mob violence by what the European press carefully calls “angry youths”, is now underway in New York and Los Angeles. It won’t stop there. The era of the “lone wolf” Jihadi hasn’t ended yet, but the future of Islamic terror in America will be group attacks, like those in Bataclan in Paris, and more routine riots and mass assaults abetted by their leftist allies.

Jews in New York City are the easiest targets, but as the Swedes or the French could tell you, or the Poles and the Czechs, it rarely ends there.

Muslim violence isn’t a response to oppression or persecution. It’s a supremacist theological mission to colonize and subjugate non-Muslims as numerous Jihadis have told us at their trials.

We chose not to take them at their word.

Israel is not the issue. Just as Mohammed cartoons, a teddy bear with the wrong name, or false reports of a desecrated Koran were not the real issues at the heart of other Muslim rampages.

When thugs and terrorists want to beat and kill people, they can always find an excuse.

Listening to their excuses and taking them seriously is almost as dumb as visiting their countries or letting them inside your country long enough for them to kill you. If we want to survive, we’re going to have to stop being dumb. Otherwise, we’ll learn to live and die like they do in Malmo.

It happened in Europe. Now it’s happening here.

If American Jews want to stop antisemitism, they need to stop importing it from the antisemitic capitals of the world. Really fighting antisemitism means fighting antisemitic immigration.

Or investing in bulletproof windows while educating synagogue burners about antisemitism.

Nothing to see here. Doesn’t every church have a weapons stockpile? The Left today seems to think so.

“Muslim Rioters in Israel Burn 10 Synagogues, 112 Jewish Homes,” United With Israel, May 21, 2021:

At least 10 synagogues were attacked and burned in the past week of Muslim riots across the country while 28 mosques were exposed as weapons storage sites, the data show.

Data from the Central District of Fire and Rescue show that from last Tuesday, 10 synagogues and government institutions in the city of Lod in the center of the country have been set on fire. No mosques were attacked or burned.

The data also show that 28 mosques were exposed as weapons caches, where rocks and Molotov cocktails were prepared and stored.

Similarly, 22 Muslim prayer houses were documented as being used to incite riots against Jews.

112 Jewish homes have so far been burned in Muslim riots, compared to one house of an Arab family in Jaffa, which turned out to have been set on fire by Arabs.

No looted Arab homes have been reported so far, while 386 looted Jewish homes were documented.

A total of 673 Jewish homes were vandalized and 12 Arab homes were damaged.

849 Jewish-owned cars were set on fire, as opposed to 13 Arab-owned cars.

Conversely, Jews who used weapons in self-defense were arrested by the police, while so far, no Arabs were arrested for the use of firearms, despite the injuries of several Jews in shooting incidents….

Coptic Pope Tawadros praises Egypt’s gift of $500,000,000 to Hamas ‘in the humanitarian ordeal they are undergoing’

Gaza is not actually suffering through a “humanitarian ordeal.” Hamas has plenty of money, and spent it on rockets to fire at Israeli civilians. If any citizens of Gaza are going hungry, it’s because that was what Hamas chose to do with the aid money that is showered on Gaza.

Pope Tawadros is applauding this because he may have actually internalized Islamic priorities and perspectives as his own, or because he fears what might happen if he didn’t applaud it. In either case, he is acting a dhimmi, a non-Muslim under the hegemony under Islamic law. The dhimmi must not complain or criticize Islam or Muslims in any way; if he does, his “contract of protection” could be revoked, and he could be killed. The way Pope Tawadros is acting here is the way dhimmis have gotten along in Muslim countries for centuries. Many, when they emigrate to the West, have brought this mentality of subservience with them.

“Bishops Back Egypt’s Alms for Hamas’ Arms,” by Jules Gomes, ChurchMilitant.com, May 21, 2021:

CAIRO (ChurchMilitant.com) – Egypt’s Catholic and Coptic prelates are giving their blessing to a $500 million contribution to Hamas, despite evidence that the jihadist organization uses charitable donations to fund terrorism, suicide bombers and rocket attacks against Israel.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, a devout Muslim, announced Tuesday that his country would send half a billion dollars to support the reconstruction of Gaza following Hamas’ recent conflict with Israel.

Coptic Orthodox Church’s Pope Tawadros II immediately issued a statement praising the initiative as a gesture of concrete support for the “Palestinian brothers, in the humanitarian ordeal they are undergoing” given Egypt’s “historic role” in supporting the Arab people.

The Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Egypt, presided over by Coptic Catholic Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak, also published a statement lauding al-Sisi’s gift “to support our Palestinian brothers.”

Donations Fund Terror

“It is sad to see Pope Tawadros endorsing the financing of Hamas, which is what money for the ‘reconstruction of Gaza’ will go to in reality,” eminent Islamic historian Robert Spencer told Church Militant, explaining Tawadros’ “refusal to endorse this funding could result in a new round of the persecution of Christians in Egypt.”

Spencer, author of 21 books on Islam and the Middle East, elaborated:

Pope Francis also has never condemned Hamas, and this causes further confusion among Roman Catholics as to how the conflict should be morally evaluated. Pope Francis may be keeping quiet for the same reason that Pope Tawadros is speaking — fear of Islamic reprisals. But this only encourages more jihad violence against Christians in the long run, as the jihadis see that it works.

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayyeb — Pope Francis’ chief Muslim dialogue partner and co-signatory to the pontiff’s Human Fraternity concordat with Islam — also hailed Egypt’s dole for “reflecting the Palestinian cause as a priority for Egyptians and Arabs.”

“It is also an affirmation of Egypt’s support of the legitimate and fair Palestinian cause, and the Palestinians’ rights in establishing an independent state with Jerusalem as the capital,” al-Tayyeb emphasized.

However, Ambassador Dennis Ross, a peace negotiator between Israel and the Palestinians for at least four U.S. presidents, insists that donors “need to put Hamas in a position where they have to choose between their rockets and the well-being of Gaza.”

“The issue is massive reconstruction for no rockets,” Ross said. “And the minute you see irregularities, everything stops.”

Ross noted the failure of earlier efforts to rebuild Gaza. Any future monitoring system would need to be an effective, round-the-clock endeavor that would halt reconstruction if Hamas was found to be storing, building or preparing to launch rockets, he maintained.

The Trump administration stopped funding aid for Gaza through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in 2018, but Biden restored it in April, just before the conflict began.

‘Too Close’ to Hamas?

Multiple sources on the ground told Church Militant that the Egyptian prelates had “bowed to Islam as dhimmis” [literally “protected persons subject to Muslim hegemony”] and were content “to roar like lions against Israel and purr like pussycats while petted by Hamas.”

While Egypt’s ecclesiastical hierarchy continues to denounce Israel, it has tacitly endorsed Gaza’s rulers even though Hamas’ (Harakat al-Muqawamah al-Islamiyya) own declarations explicitly identify it as a jihadist outfit committed to the destruction of Israel, sources added.

Vittorio Emanuele Parsi, professor of international relations at Italy’s Sacred Heart Catholic University, notes the failure of prelates like Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Michel Sabbah to condemn terrorism because they are too close to Hamas.

Coptic Pope Cyril VI even banned Egyptian Christians from going on pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 1967 and the current incumbent Pope Tawadros II has upheld the ban while not enforcing it. Violators were often denied Communion and at times threatened with excommunication.

“The position of the Church remains unchanged, which is not going to Jerusalem without all our Egyptian (Muslim) brothers,” Church spokesman Boulos Halim said, responding to Pope Tawadros II breaking the ban to attend a funeral in Jerusalem in 2015….

Biden vows to ‘provide rapid humanitarian assistance for the Gaza reconstruction efforts’ with US taxpayer money

This will free up more cash for Hamas to use to replenish its rocket supply and enable it to resume its jihad more quickly.

“Biden hails ceasefire, vows to rebuild Gaza and restock Israel’s Iron Dome,” by Steven Nelson, New York Post, May 20, 2021 (thanks to the Geller Report):

President Biden on Thursday endorsed an Egypt-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas — while vowing the US would help rebuild Gaza and restock Israel’s missile defense system.

Biden condemned the militant group Hamas and said he spoke six times during the two-week conflict with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — two times more than was publicly known.

“We remain committed to work with the United Nations and other international stakeholders to provide rapid humanitarian assistance and to marshal international support for the people of Gaza and the Gaza reconstruction efforts,” Biden said in a speech from the White House.

“We will do this in full partnership with the Palestinian Authority — not Hamas, the Authority — in a manner that does not permit Hamas to simply restock its military arsenal.”

Hamas, an Islamic fundamentalist offshoot of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, has governed Gaza since winning a 2007 Palestinian civil war against the less-radical leadership of the Palestinian Authority.

Biden also said the US would help replenish Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, which shot down many rockets fired from Gaza.

“I extend my sincere gratitude to President el-Sisi and the senior Egyptian officials who plays such a critical role in this diplomacy,” Biden said.

“These hostilities have resulted in a tragic test of so many civilians, including children, and I send my sincere condolences to all the families, Israeli and Palestinian, who have lost loved ones and my hope for a full recovery for the wounded.”…

Thanks to the Left, Jews Are Under Attack in the U.S., Canada, and Britain

My latest in PJ Media:

In Los Angeles, Palestinian protesters asked people dining at the Sushi Fumi restaurant if they were Jewish, and proceeded to attack them with knives. Elsewhere in Los Angeles, two cars festooned with Palestinian flags chased a Jewish man down a street as he was leaving his synagogue. A Muslim mob screaming “Allahu akbar” attacked a Jewish man in midtown Manhattan.

In Florida, a van also bearing a Palestinian flag and emblazoned with the slogan “Hitler was Right” drove past a pro-Israel demonstration. A Nazi flag also flew at a pro-Palestinian rally in Toronto.

In fact, according to the Toronto Sun, “Israel-born Shawn says things got so violent at a pro-Palestine protest on a packed Nathan Phillips Square Saturday night it reminded him of the 1930s and 1940s in Nazi Germany.”

In Germany, a Leftist Jewish “journalist” tweeted: “May God kill all friends of the Jews!” And in BelgiumLondon, and elsewhere, Muslim demonstrators chanted “Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return.” As The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS explains, Muhammad led a Muslim force against the Khaybar oasis, which was inhabited by Jews, many of whom he had previously exiled from Medina. Islamic tradition records that Muhammad said, “Allahu akbar! Khaybar is destroyed,” and ordered the attack to begin. When modern-day Muslims invoke Khaybar, they are recalling an aggressive, surprise raid by Muhammad which resulted in the final eradication of the once considerable Jewish presence in Arabia. To the jihadists, Khaybar means the destruction of the Jews and the seizure of their property by the Muslims.

Meanwhile, in England, Muslims screaming anti-Semitic slurs brutally beat Rabbi Rafi Goodwin outside his synagogue. In the city of Birmingham, Muslims broke into a YouTuber’s home and trashed it because the occupant allegedly “disrespected Palestine.” Also in England, a crowd of pro-Palestinian demonstrators chanted, “Muslim armies, where are you?”

It’s clear where they are: in Europe and North America. What we are seeing in the increasing violence against Jews in the West is that when the left claims that “right-wing” rhetoric leads to violence, they’re once again accusing their enemies of what they themselves are guilty of doing.

For years now, we have seen leftists legitimize violence against those whom they hate. Remember Kathy Griffin holding a mockup of Trump’s severed head. Remember Madonna saying: “I’ve thought a lot about blowing up the White House.” Remember failed CNN host and cannibal Reza Aslan’s infamous rant of August 2019, calling for the genocide of supporters of the former president of the United States: “The President is a white nationalist terror leader. His supporters – ALL OF THEM – are by definition white nationalist terror supporters. The MAGA hat is a KKK hood. And this evil, racist scourge must be eradicated from society.”

There are innumerable examples of open bloodlust on the left, with most of them never resulting in any professional difficulties for the people calling for violence. The situation is the same among the Palestinian Arabs. On July 12, 2019, a member of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Fathi Hammad, delivered an impassioned speech in which he declared: “Enough warming up… We must attack every Jew on planet Earth and slaughter and kill them.” Hammad called upon Palestinians to buy knives, which he said could be had for five shekels (about $1.50), to kill Jews. He also said: “We will die while exploding and cutting the necks and legs of the Jews. We will lacerate them and tear them to pieces, Allah willing!”

On May 7, 2021, Hammad said it again: “People of Jerusalem, we want you to cut off the heads of the Jews with knives. With your hand, cut their artery from here. A knife costs five shekels. Buy a knife, sharpen it, put it there, and just cut off [their heads]. It costs just five shekels. With those five shekels, you will humiliate the Jewish state.” Then he added a quotation from the Qur’an: “‘You shall find the strongest in enmity towards the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists [5:82].’” Hammad declared: “The Jews have spread corruption and acted with arrogance, and their moment of reckoning has come. The moment of destruction at your hands has arrived.”

When he first called for Muslims to stab random Jews, Hammad added: “They think that we are rational people. Well, we aren’t. The people of Gaza are not rational.”

Yeah. And that irrationality has now spread all over the world. The international left, having aligned with the jihad force, is not going to stop these attacks on Jews. Lord knows Joe Biden isn’t going to say a word about them, and the FBI is too busy investigating the fictional insurrection of January 6 to take any notice. What we are seeing is the outcome of the left’s persistently violent rhetoric. And we will see much more of it.

Erdogan asks pope to ‘mobilize the Christian world’ to support the jihad against Israel

Centuries ago, popes spearheaded the resistance to the advancing jihad. But Erdogan knows what he is dealing with in Pope Francis, and it isn’t exactly the spirit of the Crusades. Whatever else he may be, Pope Francis is the perfect pope for a Europe that has discarded and no longer appreciates its own culture and heritage.

“Erdogan urges Pope to help end Gaza conflict, impose sanctions on Israel,” AFP, May 17, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday urged Pope Francis to help rally the world to adopt sanctions against Israel for its “massacre” of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The phone call between Erdogan and the pontiff came as Turkey presses ahead with a furious diplomatic push to help end bloodshed that has claimed the lives of 197 Palestinians and 10 people in Israel since May 10.

For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app.

Erdogan told Pope Francis that “Palestinians will continue to be subjected to a massacre unless the international community punishes Israel… with sanctions”, the Turkish presidency said.

The pope’s messages were of “great importance to mobilize the Christian world and the international community”, the Turkish statement added.

The pope on Sunday said the loss of innocent lives in the violence was “terrible and unacceptable”, warning that the conflict risked “degenerating into a spiral of death and destruction”.

Erdogan, who has vocally championed the Palestinian cause during his 18-year rule, has spoken out repeatedly against Israel’s actions, accusing it of waging “terrorism” last week.

He told the pope on Monday that “all of humanity should be united against” Israel.

“The savagery caused by Israel threatens regional security,” he added….

Israelis ‘determined to take down infrastructure of Hamas,’ but SHIFTY Schiff calls on Biden’s handlers to stop them

Israel has been stopped many times in the past from defending itself adequately. That’s one reason why it still faces such a severe jihad. And it could happen again.

“Israel focused on taking down ‘terrorist infrastructure of Hamas,’ says Israeli diplomat,” by Elissa Salamy, SBG,
May 17, 2021:

WASHINGTON (SBG) – Sunday marked the deadliest day in the violence between Israel and Palestine over the last week after Israel bombed the house of Hamas’ Gaza leader as Hamas launched more than 100 rockets toward Israel. The death toll after the latest casualties is now 197 in Gaza, and 10 Israelis killed by rockets fired from Gaza.

“Millions of Israelis are under threat of rockets from Hamas,” said Elad Strohmayer, spokesperson for the Embassy of Israel. “More than 500 Israelis were injured, more than 3,200 rockets were fired indiscriminately by Hamas.”

Israel’s airstrikes have leveled a number of Gaza’s buildings, including the building housing the Associated Press office in Gaza, which Israel says contained Hamas military infrastructure.

“We’re determined to take down the terrorist infrastructure of Hamas, to make sure that peace is restored and calm is restored and safety is restored for the Israeli people,” said Strohmayer to The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat. “And by the way, not just for the Israeli people, but the people of Gaza.”

Strohmayer says the people of Gaza are “hostages of Hamas.”

“Hamas is firing at the Israelis, and they do that from within the civilian population in Gaza,” said Strohmayer.

Some Republican lawmakers in Washington are saying that the Biden administration needs to be more aggressive.

“I think we need to do everything possible to bring about a ceasefire,” said Rep. Adam Schiff on Sunday. “I think the administration needs to push harder on Israel and the Palestinian Authority to stop the violence, bring about a ceasefire, end these hostilities, and get back to a process of trying to resolve this long-standing conflict.”

Strohmayer says they are “very grateful” for the Biden administration.

“Everybody’s saying, emphasizing the unwavering right of Israel to defend itself,” said Strohmayer. “This is exactly the message that we get from this administration, so we’re very grateful for their support.”…

Biden’s Handlers Send Israel-Hater to Israel to Make Peace

Oh yeah, this is sure to work: Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday, according to the Jewish Press, that he was “sending an envoy to the Middle East to ‘seek to calm tensions’ even as he urged Israel to avoid killing civilians.” Israel does more than any other military force has ever done to avoid killing civilians, so that was not a good sign. Even worse was that the soothing envoy is Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Hady Amr, an indefatigable supporter of the genocidal Palestinian Arab jihad against Israel.

Back in 2002, Amr declared: “I was inspired by the Palestinian intifada.” He said that Palestinians would “never, never forget what the Israeli people, the Israeli military, and Israeli democracy have done to Palestinian children. And there will be thousands who will seek to avenge these brutal murders of innocents.” He did not, of course, say a word about Hamas’ long-established practice of launching jihad attacks from civilian areas, so that retaliatory fire could be used for propaganda purposes. Of course, that was a long time ago, but Amr went on to a long career in the Obama administration and elsewhere, and never showed any sign that he had moderated his positions.

Anyone who is surprised that Biden’s handlers would send a jihad supporter to talk with the Israelis and Palestinians hasn’t been paying attention. Just days after Joe Biden was inaugurated, pro-Erdogan Turkish journalist Hakkı Öcal, according to Ahval News, “highlighted a report on the strong presence of Jews in the cabinet of U.S. President Joe Biden.” The report claimed that there was an “over 50 percent Jewish presence in the new U.S. cabinet,” and pointed Secretary of State Antony Blinken and CIA Deputy Director David Cohen, among others. But Öcal was off base: among Biden’s handlers, Jewish and non-Jewish, there are few, if any, staunch friends of Israel. After just a few months in office, it was clear that Joe Biden’s handlers’ administration was shaping up to be the most anti-Israel presidency since the founding of the modern State of Israel. That is clear from the appointments Biden’s handlers have made. A sampling:

Robert Malley, special envoy to Iran, has become notorious over the years for his support for Iran’s Islamic regime and pronounced distaste for Israel. The Washington Times revealed in February 2021 that back in July 2019, “Iran’s smooth, English-speaking foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, met with Robert Malley, who was President Obama’s Middle East adviser, in an apparent bid to undermine the Trump team and lay the groundwork for post-Trump relations.”

Malley was a good choice for such an assignment. An Israeli security official noted in February 2008 that Malley “has expressed sympathy to Hamas and Hizbullah and offered accounts of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations that don’t jibe with the facts.” Obama dropped Malley in May 2008 after it came to light that he had met with representatives of Hamas, but six months later sent him as an envoy to Egypt and Syria.

Meanwhile, Reema Dodin is a deputy director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. According to the Jerusalem Post, “during the Second Intifada, in 2002, Dodin spoke about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with residents of Lodi, California, saying that ‘suicide bombers were the last resort of a desperate people.’” Also, “in 2001, Dodin took part in a demonstration at UC Berkeley calling for the university to divest from Israel….The demonstrators compared Israel to apartheid South Africa.”

In a similar vein, Biden’s handlers appointed Maher Bitar the senior director for intelligence on the National Security Council. In 2006, while a student at Georgetown University, Bitar was a member of the executive board of the viciously pro-jihad, anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine, and was seen dancing in front of a banner that said: “Divest from Israel Apartheid.”

The deputy secretary of state is Wendy Sherman, who was the lead negotiator of Barack Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran. The State Department’s undersecretary for civilian security, democracy and human rights is Uzra Zeya. According to the Jewish News Service, Zeya “worked for the magazine Washington Report on Middle East Affairs and its publishing group, American Educational Trust. The Washington Report has questioned the loyalty American Jews have to the United States; published accusations against the ‘Jewish lobby’; claimed American Jews control the media; and accused the Mossad of perpetrating the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy and the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.”

Undersecretary of Defense for Policy is Colin Kahl, according to Israel Hayom, “has quite the anti-Israel record. He thinks the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Iraq was 1981 was a mistake. In 2012, he acted to remove recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital from the Democratic party’s platform. In 2015, he was among those to formulate the Iran nuclear deal. In 2016, at the end of his term, then-US President Barack Obama tasked him with enlisting support for the anti-Israel UN Security Council Resolution 2334 that determined Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria were a violation of international law.”

Having assembled this team of Israel-haters and jihad supporters, Biden’s handlers are likely to press Israel to stop defending itself and make new concessions to the jihadis. As the notorious Amr tries to “calm tensions,” Israel must stand firm.

Belgium: Muslims Chant to Murder Jews during Anti-Israel Demonstration (Video)

Belgium’s left-wing government’s open borders migration policies continue to have catastrophic effects on the country’s safety and demography.

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Brussels to express their support of Islamic terrorist group Hamas’ continuous rocket attacks on Israel. The crowd, consisting of Muslim migrants and leftists, demonstrated on the Place de l’Albertine near Brussels Central Station. Many of the anti-Israel activists waved Palestinian flags and chanted threats towards Jews and Israel.

A video taken at the demonstration captures the Muslims chanting the genocidal anti-Jewish Islamic chant. The Islamic traditional chant is often used as a battle cry when attacking Jews or Israelis,

“Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, sa yahud,” which means, “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning.”

Khaybar refers to the Muslim massacre of the Jews in the town of Khaybar in northwestern Arabia in 628 CE. After the attack, Muslims, including the Islamic prophet Muhammad, took the surviving women as wives.

As scholar Robert Spencer states, “when modern-day jihadists invoke Khaybar, they are recalling an aggressive, surprise raid by Muhammad which resulted in the final eradication of the once considerable Jewish presence in Arabia. To the jihadists, Khaybar means the destruction of the Jews and the seizure of their property by the Muslims.’

Israel Under Attack

Palestinians blame the attacks on Israel over disputes taking place in the Sheik Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem. For decades, Palestinians have been illegally occupying homes in Sheikh Jarrah and refuse to pay rent to private Israeli landlords. The courts recently ruled in favor of the Israeli landlords’ rights to be paid.

Islamic terrorist group Hamas responded by calling for war and launching hundreds of rockets from Gaza. The deadly rocket attacks have been continuous for days and are still being launched as of this publication.

As previously reported by RAIR Foundation USA, Hamas’ charter, which calls to kill all Jews, makes it no surprise that Hamas is trying to kill as many innocent Israelis as possible. Meanwhile, left-wing leaders and media worldwide condemn Israel for defending their citizens by launching targeted attacks against the Hamas terrorists and their weapons caches.

Islamic terrorist group Hamas is a surrogate for Iran. They want Hamas to retain control over the Gaza Strip so that the Iranians can hold onto another power base in the Middle East, as it does with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Belgium: First Islamic State

Over the last decade, Belgium has changed dramatically. Without any public debate, it has become a massive migration state. Their left-wing government’s open borders migration policies continue to have catastrophic effects on their safety and demography.

According to Statbel, the country’s statistical office, one-third of Belgium’s population is of foreign origin. The largest number of those being of Moroccan descent. In Brussels, native or indigenous Belgians are already in the minority. In “politically correct” terms, it is called  “diversity,” but the more accurate term is “colonization.” In Belgium’s capital, Brussels, nearly 80% of the population is of foreign origin.

Belgium has become a terrorist breeding ground; the country has the highest per-capita rate of foreign fighters of any Western European country. Left-wing media have even described the small country as “Europe’s terror hotbed.”

The multiculturalism project in Belgium, including the attempt to integrate people from the Middle East and Africa, continues to fail and put natives in danger.

UK: Muslim protesters scream jihad chant vowing new genocide of Jews

As The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS explains, Muhammad led a Muslim force against the Khaybar oasis, which was inhabited by Jews — many of whom he had previously exiled from Medina. When he did so, he was not responding to any provocation. One of the Muslims later remembered: “When the apostle raided a people he waited until the morning. If he heard a call to prayer he held back; if he did not hear it he attacked. We came to Khaybar by night, and the apostle passed the night there; and when morning came he did not hear the call to prayer, so he rode and we rode with him….We met the workers of Khaybar coming out in the morning with their spades and baskets. When they saw the apostle and the army they cried, ‘Muhammad with his force,’ and turned tail and fled. The apostle said, ‘Allah Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed. When we arrive in a people’s square it is a bad morning for those who have been warned.’”

When they entered Khaybar, the Muslims immediately set out to locate the inhabitants’ wealth. A Jewish leader of Khaybar, Kinana bin al-Rabi, was brought before Muhammad; Kinana was supposed to have been entrusted with the treasure of on of the Jewish tribes of Arabia, the Banu Nadir. Kinana denied knowing where this treasure was, but Muhammad pressed him: “Do you know that if we find you have it I shall kill you?” Kinana said yes, that he did know that.

Some of the treasure was found. To find the rest, Muhammad gave orders concerning Kinana: “Torture him until you extract what he has.” One of the Muslims built a fire on Kinana’s chest, but Kinana would not give up his secret. When he was at the point of death, one of the Muslims beheaded him. Kinana’s wife Safiyya bint Huyayy was taken as a war prize; Muhammad claimed her for himself and hastily arranged a wedding ceremony that night. He halted the Muslims’ caravan out of Khaybar later that night in order to consummate the marriage.

Muhammad agreed to let the people of Khaybar go into exile, allowing them to keep as much of their property as they could carry. The Prophet of Islam, however, commanded them to leave behind all their gold and silver. He had intended to expel all of them, but some, who were farmers, begged him to allow them to let them stay if they gave him half their yield annually. Muhammad agreed: “I will allow you to continue here, so long as we would desire.” He warned them: “If we wish to expel you we will expel you.” They no longer had any rights that did not depend upon the goodwill and sufferance of Muhammad and the Muslims. And indeed, when the Muslims discovered some treasure that some of the Khaybar Jews had hidden, he ordered the women of the tribe enslaved and seized the perpetrators’ land. A hadith notes that “the Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and women taken as captives.”

Thus when modern-day Muslims invoke Khaybar, they are recalling an aggressive, surprise raid by Muhammad which resulted in the final eradication of the once considerable Jewish presence in Arabia. To the jihadists, Khaybar means the destruction of the Jews and the seizure of their property by the Muslims.

Palestinian TV explodes its own propaganda, admits Israel warned civilians to leave building before attack

This will not, of course, stop the international media from repeating “Palestinian” jihad propaganda as fact.

“PMW Exclusive: PA TV admits Israel warned civilians to leave building before attack,” Palestinian Media Watch, May 14, 2021:

In this exclusive PMW video, an official Palestinian Authority source confirms the Israeli policy of warning Palestinian civilians to evacuate buildings that house terrorists and terror infrastructures in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, before they are destroyed. This has been a long held Israeli practice, even if it enables the terrorists to escape. Now an official Palestinian Authority source also confirms this.

A PA TV reporter recounts what he witnessed in Gaza:

Official PA TV reporter: “When they were informed that this tower will be attacked… the site was completely evacuated. The block, the street, the civilian buildings, and the residential buildings in the area – completely – including children and women, and we saw it…

The guard who works in this tower was warned through a phone call from the Israeli Security Agency. They told him word by word: ‘Evacuate the tower and tell them that this tower will be attacked. It will be attacked any moment.’ After this conversation this tower was attacked about two hours later.”

[Official PA TV, May 11, 2021]

In addition, Israel TV Kan11 got hold of a video of the guard during his actual conversation with the Israeli Security Services. In the conversation, he is heard repeating the instructions he received from Israel:

“How much, how much time do you need?… At least two or three hours? No one should come in? In other words, [I should] go to the tower, go to the tower and not let anyone come in?”

AP Pretends It Didn’t Know It Was Sharing a Building With Hamas

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

You can absolutely trust the AP’s coverage of Israel.

After an airstrike struck a building with terrorist tenants that included Hamas and Al Jazeera, controlled by Qatar, a backer of Hamas, the main story in the media was about… the media.

Specifically the AP’s presence in the same building.

“We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza. They have long known the location of our bureau and knew journalists were there. We received a warning that the building would be hit,” the AP’s statement says.

And the AP is complaining about what? Israel warned it that the building was a target. AP chose to share a building with Hamas and pretend not to know about it.

“This strike is an incredibly disturbing development. We narrowly avoided a terrible loss of life. A dozen AP journalists and freelancers were inside the building and thankfully we were able to evacuate them in time,” the AP complains.

Except that it was warned and was able to evacuate the building. So the pretense that it was ever at risk is nonsense.

Finally, the AP claims  “We have had no indication Hamas was in the building or active in the building. This is something we actively check to the best of our ability.”

You can believe the AP or its former correspondent, Matti Friedman who wrote about the service’s dishonesty back in 2014.

The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby—and the AP wouldn’t report it, not even in AP articles about Israeli claims that Hamas was launching rockets from residential areas. (This happened.) Hamas fighters would burst into the AP’s Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn’t report it. (This also happened.) Cameramen waiting outside Shifa Hospital in Gaza City would film the arrival of civilian casualties and then, at a signal from an official, turn off their cameras when wounded and dead fighters came in, helping Hamas maintain the illusion that only civilians were dying.

The AP claimed that its interactions with Hamas terrorists isn’t news.

Colford, the AP spokesman, confirmed that armed militants entered the AP’s Gaza office in the early days of the war to complain about a photo showing the location of a rocket launch, though he said that Hamas claimed that the men “did not represent the group.” The AP “does not report many interactions with militias, armies, thugs or governments,” he wrote. “These incidents are part of the challenge of getting out the news—and not themselves news.”

Interactions with the IDF however are always news.

The AP offers us two options

1. It’s incompetent and didn’t know it was sharing a building with Hamas

2. It knew it was sharing a building with Hamas

Notably, the AP isn’t really offering a denial. It’s demanding that Israel prove Hamas was there.

Bonus question: Were any of the AP’s freelancers affiliated with Hamas?

In Israeli Cities, Muslim Arab Mobs Continue to Cause Mayhem~FAKE NEWS SPREADS ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDA, LIES, PARTIAL & ERRONEOUS STORIES

Deadliest Israeli bombing so far marks Nakba day in Gaza | DW News

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Israeli Arabs continue to cause mayhem in Arab-Jewish towns, though in Lod itself the Border Police have helped to bring some semblance, not of calm, for there can no longer be calm after what the marauding Arab mobs did to the homes, shops, synagogues of their Jewish neighbors — but order. A report on the latest developments in this struggle by Israeli authorities to suppress the mob violence in mixed cities is here: “Riots Intensify in Lod, Acre and Other Jewish-Arab Cities, as Rivlin Condemns ‘Brutal Assault on Shared Existence in Israel,’” by Sharon Wrobel, Algemeiner, May 12, 2021:

Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz asked 30 local authority heads from Arab society to help calm the tension and escalation of violence in Arab-Jewish towns which has erupted since Palestinian militants fired rockets into Israel and air strikes were launched in Gaza by Israel.

The move came after Israel declared Lod, a city of both Arab and Jewish residents, a special state of emergency, following severe rioting in recent days by Arabs. The assailants were taking the streets of Lod, Acre, Ramle and other towns of mixed communities, setting fire to synagogues, shops and cars.

Despite the efforts to restore calm on the street and an overnight curfew imposed by police, violent riots continued on Wednesday night in Acre and Lod.

The sight of the pogrom in Lod and the disturbances across the country by an incited and bloodthirsty Arab mob, injuring people, damaging property and even attacking sacred Jewish spaces is unforgivable,” said Israel President Reuven Rivlin. “Tearing down the Israeli flag by Arab rioters and replacing it with the Palestinian flag is a brutal assault on shared existence in the State of Israel.”

“The silence of the Arab leadership about these disturbances is shameful, giving support to terrorism and rioting and encouraging the rupture of the society in which we live and in which we will continue to live once all this has passed. The Israeli government must pursue the rioters with a firm hand restore security and order while fighting terrorism from Gaza without compromise,” Rivlin added.

Only a single Arab MK, Esawi Frej, asked his fellow Arab leaders to speak out:

“I call on [the Joint List’s] Ahmad Tibi, Ayman Odeh along with Arab mayors: This is the test of your leadership. Don’t hide..”

But they did hide. Neither Ahmad Tibi, nor Ayman Odeh, nor any of the other Arab MKs or mayors, spoke out; Frej was alone. There were lower-level Arabs, some city councilmen in Lod, Acre, Haifa, Ramle, and Tel Aviv-Yafo, who, with their Jewish colleagues, signed a declaration calling for calm. And so far, that’s been the only response of leaders in the Israeli Arab community.

Even after President Rivlin made his appeal, the leaders of the Israeli Arabs have remained silent. It’s been quite a shock to many Israeli Jews, but it is surely better that they realize now what they are up against, rather than continue to assume the loyalty and goodwill of their Arab population.

Magen David paramedics were called to Acre central station to provide medical treatment to a 30-year-old man in critical condition with a head injury, who was hurt during the riots.

The Jewish man in critical condition is one of nearly a half-dozen Jews who so far have been seriously hurt by Arab rioters in Lod and Acre. One Arab man was also killed in Lod, shot in self-defense by a Jewish man whom he had been attacking. There are no other reports of Arabs being killed despite their continuing mob violence.

Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu called the riots in Jewish-Arab integrated cities “intolerable.” Netanyahu on Wednesday [May 11] visited Acre to meet with the mayor, police and security officials, for a discussion and assessment of the situation, following the events in the city.

“We are in a fight on several fronts. Last night I went to Lod, another front of anarchy that was opened there. We also made decisions there and brought in forces and this afternoon here in Acre. We will continue the effort to stop the anarchy, restore governance to Israel’s cities with an iron fist if necessary, with all necessary force and with all necessary authority,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu said that he instructed border police forces from the West Bank to be transferred to assist the police in Lod, Acre and other places to help stop the wave of riots.

According to Walla, more than a dozen Arab and Jewish council members from the mixed cities of Lod, Acre, Haifa, Tel Aviv-Yafo, and Ramle have signed a declaration to help restore calm on the streets.

Commenting on the violent clashes between Jews and Arabs, Brig. Gen. (ret.) Dr. Meir Elran at the INSS said: “If the explosive situation continues or, God forbid, worsens, there will be very negative consequences for the fabric of life in Israel. Hence Israel’s national interest in achieving calm in rapid fashion, on this internal front as well, which likewise has an impact on the confrontation with the Palestinians and with Hamas.”

The marauding Arab mobs in Lod and the smaller groups of Arab attackers in Acre, Ramle, Haifa, Tel Aviiv-Yafo have forced the Israelis to carefully consider the problem of the enemy within. Once the current fighting is all over, Israel having delivered enough punishing blows so that Hamas will sue for a ceasefire, with calm restored to the Temple Mount, and Arab mobs inside Israel put down, the leaders of the IDF, the Shin Bet, the regular police, and the Border Police will have to study how to deal with this dangerous new front, of the Enemy Within. How many Arabs actually took part? How should those who were part of the mobs be handled — prison sentences, or is expulsion a possibility? Why was Lod the city most vulnerable to such mob violence? How should Israeli Arab leaders who refused even to call for calm, much less to condemn the rioters, be treated? Is there any way to repair the inter-communal damage, or will Israelis now have to permanently adjust to living among those who clearly wish them harm, and are just waiting for another opportunity to do so? In such circumstances, what can Israel now do to protect its Jewish citizens from their Arab neighbors? If the Bidenites thought that Israel could be persuaded to return to the “pre-1967 lines” (1949 armistice lines) as a basis for negotiations, that possibility has now gone up in smoke, like the shops and homes and synagogues in Lod.

Fear of ‘All-Out War’ as Intense Rocket Barrages Disrupt Southern Israel; 7 Gazans Killed in IAF Strikes~Kristallnacht In Israel: Muslim Mobs in Lod Attack Jews, Burn Cars, Set Synagogues On Fire

(The Times of Israel) — Cities and communities in southern Israel faced an intense barrage of rockets overnight Friday-Saturday, with several heavy waves of projectile fire targeting Ashkelon, Ashdod, Beersheba, Sderot and the surrounding areas.

The bombardment came as the Israeli military continued to strike numerous targets in the Gaza Strip since midnight, taking out rocket-launching sites, terror cells and a Hamas intelligence center, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

One of the rockets fired from Gaza in the middle of the night made a direct hit on an apartment building in Ashdod, while another landed in the Ashdod port, hitting a fuel reservoir and causing a massive explosion that sent huge flames into the night sky. No injuries were immediately reported in either incident.

In the middle of Israel, 16 miles outside of Tel Aviv, sits the city of Lod (Lydda). One-third of its population of 77,000 is Arab; it has been a source of local pride that Arabs and Jews have gotten along so well, and that the Arabs have flourished. Starting with an Arab population of 1,600 in Lod in 1949, the Arabs now number 25,700, a colossal increase of more than 1500%. Obviously, living in Lod agrees with them.

But in recent days, Arab mobs in Lod have been roaming the city, attacking Jews, burning cars, throwing petrol bombs into Jewish homes and shops, setting three synagogues on fire..

A report on this grim spectacle is here: “‘Kristallnacht in Lod’: State of emergency as Arab mobs set synagogues on fire,” Times of IsraelMay 12, 2021:

Intense Arab rioting broke out in the central Israeli city of Lod late Tuesday, with three synagogues and numerous shops reportedly set on fire, along with dozens of cars. The government declared a state of emergency in the Jewish-Arab city, and urgently dispatched several Border Police companies to work to restore order.

Some residents reported power was cut in their homes and petrol bombs were thrown through their windows, Channel 12 news said, and police acknowledged having to escort some residents from a community center to their homes as Arab mobs marauded in the streets. A local man, 56, was seriously hurt when hit by a slab on his car, and was hospitalized. Another local resident was seriously hurt.

Jewish shops were set on fire, three synagogues burned, gasoline bombs thrown into Jewish homes. It is a miracle that no one so far has burned to death, though several Jews have been seriously wounded by Arabs, and one Arab man was shot dead while attacking Jews. Meanwhile, Arab mobs for two days and nights roamed the streets, looking for Jews and Jewish property to attack. Some Jews had to be escorted home by the police, for fear of what might happen to them at the hands of the maddened Muslim marauders.

The mayor, Yair Revivo, said City Hall and a local museum were also attacked, and compared the situation to the Nazis’ 1938 Kristallnacht pogrom. “Civil war” is breaking out, he said, lamenting that decades of coexistence efforts had collapsed.

“Kristallnacht pogrom” is exactly the right description. In Lod, the Arab mobs have been attacking Jewish homes, Jewish shops, Jewish places of worship, just as the Nazis did on November 9-10, 1938, and hoping thereby to terrorize the Jews into psychological submission or, some might say dhimmitude.

After Revivo appealed directly to the prime minister for urgent help, a state of emergency was declared in the city for the first time in decades, and large Border Police forces deployed to work to restore order. “Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu directed that lawbreakers be dealt with severely and that units on the ground be reinforced in order to restore quiet and order to the city forthwith,” a government statement said….

Footage posted on social media showed a torched synagogue and two Torah scrolls being salvaged — unharmed — from its ruins.

The rioting by Israeli Arabs in October 2000 did not include attempts to set fire, with petrol bombs, to Jewish homes and shops, nor were synagogues set on fire. In 2000, chanting Israeli Arabs protested all across the country, declared their solidarity with Palestinian terror groups, and when the protesters got completely out of hand and became rioting mobs intent on attacking Jews, 13 of the Arabs rioting throughout Israel were shot.

Arab violence erupted in numerous other cities across Israel, and there were also reports of Jewish revenge attacks, including in Lod, where a Muslim cemetery was set ablaze.

Setting a cemetery ablaze causes damage, but does no harm to anyone living; everyone in the cemetery is already dead. But the targets of the Arab mobs in Lod were very much alive and at risk of death – the Jewish shopkeepers in their shops that were set alight, the Jewish families in their homes, when petrol bombs were thrown through the windows, the Jews praying in synagogues where flames suddenly erupted. No Jews in Lod have attacked Arab-owned shops or houses, or mosques. The difference matters.

Attacks were reported on Jewish homes in Ramle, where cars were also stoned. In Acre, a restaurant and a hotel were set ablaze.

Roads were blocked in Umm al-Fahm, an Arab town. There were confrontations reported after midnight in Jaffa, where a car was overturned and set alight, and minor fights reported in Tel Aviv’s Habimah Square.

Throughout central Israel, the Arab attacks spread: in Ramle, right near Lod, more attacks on Jewish homes and cars; major fires consumed a restaurant and hotel. In the Arab town of Umm al-Fahm, the locals blocked roads so that the forces of order – the Israeli police – would keep out. On the coast, in Jaffa, a car was set on fire and Arabs and Jews clashed, Even in the overwhelmingly Jewish Tel Aviv, fights broke out between Arabs and Jews in the very center, Habimah Square, of the city.

The surge in violence came hours after Hamas fired some 130 rockets at central Israel, and claimed “victory” in what its leader Ismail Haniyeh said was “the battle for Jerusalem.” Hamas later hailed Arab Israelis for joining the struggle against Israel.

The rockets launched by Hamas from Gaza emboldened the local Arabs, who now wanted to show that they could make common cause with Hamas in helping to “strike terror” at Israelis from within.

Lod resident Shiloh Fried told Channel 12: “Gangs of Arab youths are going street to street, burning stores, smashing windows… Jewish families are huddled at home, terrified of going out… Their cars are being set alight outside… Police are nowhere to be seen.”

Israel was supposed to be the Jewish National Home, a refuge for world Jewry. The Israelis are used to fighting for their survival against the armies of Arab states. They are used to fighting terror groups, too — Hamas, Hezbollah, PFLP, Palestinian Islamic Jihad. But in Lod, many of the Arabs with whom they have lived side-by-side, among whom they had grown up, people whom they had allowed themselves to believe were reasonably content as citizens of Israel, with all the civil, religious, and political rights of Israeli Jews, suddenly turned on their Jewish neighbors. Within two days of the first Hamas rockets landing in southern Israel, and just a week after Arabs on the Temple Mount had started flinging rocks and Molotov cocktails at Jewish worshippers at the Western Wall below, and at the Israeli police on the Temple Mount itself, and only a few weeks since Arabs had begun to attack Jews on the streets of Jerusalem, and to upload using the TikTok app videos of their attacks, to share them with other Arabs who they were sure would enjoy the spectacle, the Arabs of Lod went on a rampage.

There were reports that some residents were avoiding using public shelters during rocket sirens out of fear they would be attacked by mobs.

Some Jews in Lod were caught between the rockets fired at the city by Hamas in Gaza, and the Israeli Arabs, whose vicious fanatical frenzy worried them so much that they did not use public shelters lest they be “attacked by mobs” of hysterical Arabs.

Channel 12 also showed footage of Jewish residents of Lod hurling rocks at cars of Arab residents, though Fried said these incidents were minor ones compared to the scope of Arab rioting. An Arab resident was killed on Monday night amid violence, in what Jewish eyewitnesses said was self-defense against Arab assailants.

Having endured the violence of Arab mobs setting on fire Jewish shops, homes, cars, and synagogues, the Jews of Lod — many of whose parents were refugees from Arab lands – managed to get back in the only way they could, with what were apparently two or three incidents of rock-throwing at Arab cars (no one hurt as a result), an understandable reaction to being goaded beyond endurance by so much Arab mob violence.

Before the army was sent in, Lod Mayor Revivo had warned “this is too big for the police.”

This is Kristallnacht in Lod,” Revivo said on Channel 12. “I have called on the prime minister to declare a state of emergency in Lod. To call in the IDF. To impose a curfew. To restore quiet… There is a failure of governance…This is a giant incident — an intifada of Arab Israelis. All the work we have done here for years [on coexistence] has gone down the drain.”

“All of Israel should know, this is a complete loss of control,” Revivo added, sounding desperate. “This is unthinkable. Synagogues are being burned. Hundreds of cars set alight. Hundreds of Arab thugs are roaming the streets… Civil war has erupted in Lod… The Orthodox-nationalist community here has guns. I’m imploring them to go back home but they understandably want to protect their homes. Molotov cocktails are being thrown into [Jewish] homes. The situation is incendiary.”

Reacting to the ongoing riots in Arab-Jewish cities across Israel, Meretz MK Isawi Frej said “anyone who calls themselves a public figure in Arab society must call for restoring calm.”

“I call on [the Joint List’s] Ahmad Tibi, Ayman Odeh along with Arab mayors: This is the test of your leadership. Don’t hide. Don’t only speak out during elections. It’s your job to go out and influence,” Frej said….

Frej, an Arab, called on Arab MKs and mayors to denounce the rioters and call for calm. So far he has gone unheeded. No other Arab leader has yet spoken out. That failure must certainly alarm Israeli Jews.

What must Israeli Jews be thinking when they confront the spectacle of those whom they thought of as their peaceful Arab neighbors, with whom they shared so much, suddenly allowing themselves to be whipped up enough to set fire, in Lod alone, to three synagogues, to destroy Jewish-owned shops, to firebomb Jewish-owned homes, and to attack at random Jews whom they came upon in the streets of Lod?

In his statement, Rivlin said he asked Younes “to do everything in his power to calm things down. The people of Israel, Jews and Arabs alike, must hear the Arab leadership sounding a clear and strident [si] voice against this wild violence, against damage to synagogues, against this wild behavior. The police will do all that is required to restore the peace. I ask for cooperation from the Arab leadership to restore calm and law and order to our streets.”

Rivlin’s cri de coeur for Israeli Arab leaders to speak out has still not, by the following week, been heeded. The Border Police have been called in to restore order in Lod, where the Arab mob violence has finally been suppressed. But the former trust between Arab and Jew in Lod, and in other mixed cities, too, have been broken by the Arab mobs that have been attacking, sometimes murderously, the Jews among whom they live and who have done nothing to deserve such treatment.

President Rivlin, normally so measured and soft-spoken in his remarks, said that “the sight of the pogrom in Lod and the disturbances across the country by an incited and bloodthirsty Arab mob… is unforgivable.” In a mixed city that prided itself on how Jews and Arabs got along. Too many Arabs suddenly turned on their Jewish neighbors, and became unhinged predators. The Jews of Israel, even those on the far left, will neither forgive nor forget what happened in Lod.

And nor, of course, should we.

New York City: Muslim mob screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ attacks Jewish man in midtown Manhattan

New York City: Muslim mob screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ attacks Jewish man in midtown Manhattan

The writer below says: “This is not a new conflict of 2021. The outburst of violence and venom we are witnessing is the continuation of the 1948 Independence War that is now in its 74th year.”

Actually, it’s the continuation of a 1,400-year jihad against the Jews.

“Arab Muslim Mob Attack Jew In Midtown Manhattan,” by Avi Abelow, Israel Unwired, May 13, 2021 (thanks to G.):

I honestly do not have the details about this event. You see what we all see, a Jew harassed and injured by a mob, including Arab Muslims, in the center of New York City screaming “Alluh Akhbar” and other curses. The policemen are whisking him away to try to protect him, even though they are doing little to stop the mob. It looks like this took place outside the Midtown Manhattan library in the center of New York City. We have been told that this took place just yesterday.

It is important for people to understand that this is directly connected to the violent war Hamas and many Israeli Arab Muslims have launched against Israel. Hamas has launched thousands of missiles on innocent Israelis while Arab Muslims have scorched Jewish synagogues, lynched neighboring Jews and shot at neighbors in joint Jewish/Muslim Israeli cities. Meanwhile, antisemitism is spreading around the world as well – all in the name of standing up for the fake cause called “palestine.”

Please, everyone understand. This is not a new conflict of 2021. The outburst of violence and venom we are witnessing is the continuation of the 1948 Independence War that is now in its 74th year. That war never ended! Many Arab Muslim Israelis are taking part in this war today.

They forget that the reason they are Israeli citizens is because their grandparents were blessed to stay put and trust the Jews after we won the 1948 war. All those who became Arab “refugees” after the 1948 war, were the ones who listened to the Arab Muslim leaders who told them to leave their homes in order to allow the Arab Muslim armies and militias to come in and massacre all the Jews.

They did not learn the lesson that those who bless the Jews are blessed and those who curse the Jews are cursed. So, today, many Israeli Arab Muslim citizens have decided to join their Muslim brethren in Gaza in order to try to kill Jews and destroy Israel from within Israel. And their brethren abroad, like the ones in the video from New York City, are joining the fight as well against innocent Jews abroad….

“Man attacked at pro-Israel rally in Midtown, NYPD says,” by Tina Moore and Larry Celona, New York Post, May 13, 2021 (thanks to Kevin):

A man attending a heated protest over the Israel-Palestinian crisis in Manhattan earlier this week was whacked in the head with a folding chair by another man who yelled, “F–k you, Israeli,” police said Thursday.

A dispute between the 29-year-old victim and his attacker broke out around 7 p.m. Tuesday at the rally outside 11 W. 42nd St., police said.

It escalated when the suspect hit the man over the head with a chair and sneered, “F–k you, Israeli. Allahu Akbar” before fleeing, cops said.

Video posted on Twitter shows the victim, who sources said was with his wife at the time, bleeding from the head as he runs across the street to safety with the help of an apparent NYPD officer.

The video was posted by Twitter user Joshua Washington.

“Attempted lynching of a Jewish man in New York,” Washington posted with the video. “This should be literally everywhere.”…

U.S. to Israeli Delegation: Come If You Must, But Our Minds Are Made Up

While Robert Malley sends, via intermediaries, his billets-doux to Iran’s negotiator Mohammed Javad Zarif in Vienna, Israel is sending a high-level delegation of security personnel, headed by Yossi Cohen, the director of Mossad, to Washington, hoping to make the case for American caution, rather than insensate haste, in returning to the JCPOA and lifting sanctions on Iran. A report on this difficult mission is here: “Israeli Security Officials Head to Washington to Share Iran Threat Intel as White House Says It Can’t Be Swayed on Nuclear Deal,” by Sharon Wrobel, Algemeiner, April 26, 2021:

A high-profile Israeli security delegation, headed by Mossad Director Yossi Cohen, is arriving in Washington this week to discuss the dangers of restoring the original 2015 Iranian nuclear accord just days after the White House signaled that the Biden administration will not be swayed to change its policy on the deal.

Ahead of the arrival of the delegation of Israeli senior security officials, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Friday answered “no” when asked at a press briefing whether the visit was likely to change the US administration’s stance on reviving the nuclear deal, to which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is strongly opposed.

How indecent of the Bidenites to proclaim to the Israelis, even before they arrive, in front of the whole world, that there is nothing they can say to the Americans that will change their minds. Their minds are made up. The Americans don’t want to be reminded that just a few months ago they were themselves talking about the need “to lengthen and strengthen” the agreement with Iran. They are in no mood to listen to their closest ally in the Middle East. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, who know better than anyone what Iran is up to with its nuclear program, understand how it plans to comply, or to pretend to, with the JCPOA, and what it will do in 2030 when it is allowed its “break out” and can manufacture, completely legally, nuclear weapons. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, even though Israel, not America, is the main target of Iran’s nuclear program. How many times has Iran threatened to destroy the Jewish state? The Bidenites don’t want to hear about it. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, whose tiny country’s very survival may depend on what agreement is concluded with Iran in Vienna and who, therefore, have beyond all others earned the right to be heard. The indifference of the Biden people to Israel’s attempt to present its arguments against a return to the Iran deal is unspeakable.

Despite Psaki’s statement, Dore Gold, President of the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs, argued that that “it is important that Israel shares all the relevant intelligence on Iran and articulates what the problem is with negotiating with Iran.”

The most persuasive arguments are made face-to-face,” Gold, who served as Director-General of the Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015, told The Algemeiner. “In the past Israel and the US had different assumptions on Iranian behavior, which have now become even more pronounced. Iran’s record of compliance with signed agreements is very weak.”

Gold is too optimistic – or perhaps he simply won’t allow himself to believe that the Americans can be so idiotically close-minded.  He’s still talking about the value of making “arguments…face-to-face” but the Americans have already said that nothing that is presented to them, no information the Israelis bring with them about just-uncovered examples of Iranian deception, no news about Iran’s ballistic missile program, or the nuclear facilities just completed deep inside the mountain at Fordow, will change their minds. “Don’t confuse us with facts. Our minds are made up.”

…Michael Oren, Israel’s former Ambassador to the US, told The Algemeiner that he is concerned about the symbolic significance of the Israeli delegation traveling to Washington after the White House comments on Friday.

“This is kind of humiliating after Israel’s important ally in the Middle East said it will not listen. I would be very hesitant in sending this delegation,” Oren commented. “If we are going back to the JCPOA, which is flawed, there could be a very dangerous outcome.”

“There is a lot of visual appearance in this in that it shows that there was consultation with Israelis. We should be very careful [not] to legitimize the agreement,” Oren warned.

Oren is right: the Israelis are being humiliated by Jen Psaki’s unembarrassed acknowledgement that there is nothing the visitors can say, no new information that they may bring, that will change Administration minds. And by agreeing to meet with members of the delegation in Washington, the Biden people – Oren fears – can make it appear to Israel’s American supporters that they did, after all, consult with the Israelis.

…There are ongoing discussions — or negotiations, I should say, that are happening now — they’re indirect, of course — on the potential for a diplomatic path forward on the new — on a nuclear deal,” White House’s Psaki said on Friday. “As it relates to Israel, we have kept them abreast as a key partner of these discussions — or of our intentions, and we will continue to do that on any future visits.”

It is not true that the Bidenites have “kept them [the Israelis] abreast” of what’s been going on in Vienna. A great deal has not been shared, which is one source of Israeli anxiety. Nor has the Biden administration asked for Israel’s opinion on those negotiations, much less allowed any Israeli objections to be taken into account. The Biden administration wants this deal to go through. It will jump through whatever hoops the Iranians hold out. In February, it was still insisting that Iran had to go first, and fully return to the deal, before American sanctions would be lifted. Iran wouldn’t have it, and we no longer hear that condition precedent being mentioned.

Commenting on the ongoing talks in Vienna, Gold noted that “there is a real dilemma, because if you remove sanctions there is a huge windfall of funds that becomes available for terrorist activities in the Middle East and around the world. At least the Biden administration is talking about a longer and stronger deal but I don’t think that the Iranians will agree.”

Gold apparently hasn’t noticed that while the Biden administration did, very early on, talk about the need for a “longer and stronger deal,” it has ceased to mention that requirement altogether. Now it refers vaguely to another deal that might be reached after the return to the JCPOA by both sides is accomplished, but why would Iran at that point, having obtained the lifting of all the American sanctions, feel any pressure to agree to a second deal about ballistic missiles and regional aggression through proxies?

Gold suggested that before sanctions are lifted Iran needs to demonstrate that it has changed direction, that it will not help the Hezbollah in missile inventory, and that it is prepared to confine itself to the terms of a deal.

Dore Gold’s suggestions make sense, but there is not the slightest chance that Iran would agree to any of it, nor that the Biden administration would put the slightest pressure on Iran to accept it. The sanctions will be lifted without any further Iranian concessions on missiles to Hezbollah or anything else; sanctions-lifting will provide Iran with a bonanza calculated to be at least 100 billion dollars, money to spend on weapons for itself and for its proxies in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon. Once it has the money, Iran will do what it likes, which means it will violate many of the terms of the JCPOA, just as it did between 2015 and 2018, when Donald Trump put an end to the farce, withdrew from the deal, and clamped crippling sanctions on Iran, that were just starting to have a devastating effect on Iran’s economy when the Biden cavalry came riding to Tehran’s rescue. And Israel will have to recognize that when it comes to foiling Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the Jewish state is now very much on its own.

Biden’s Team of Israel-Haters

BY ROBERT SPENCER

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Would a supporter of Israel really fill his foreign policy staff with those who hate the Jewish State? My latest in FrontPage:

In 2006, while a student at Georgetown University, Bitar was a member of the executive board of the viciously pro-jihad, anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine, and was seen dancing in front of a banner that said “Divest from Israel Apartheid.”

The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israel-Palestine is Hady Amr. In an unhinged 2002 rant, Amr repeated Palestinian jihad propaganda, declaring: “I have news for every Israeli: a very large proportion of the more than 150 million children and youth in the Arab World now have televisions, and they will never, never forget what the Israeli people, the Israeli military and Israeli democracy have done to Palestinian children.”

Undersecretary of Defense for Policy is Colin Kahl. According to Israel Hayom, “Kahl has quite the anti-Israel record.

Have Biden’s handlers appointed a balancing group of strong supporters of Israel, who will move to prevent this unsavory group (which is larger than just those named here) from disrupting America’s relationship with its strongest, most reliable ally in the West? Is there any brake to the ability of the anti-Israel group in Biden’s administration to force Israel to make potentially life-threatening concessions to the Palestinian jihad force. The answer to both questions is no.

Biden Picks Soros BDS Activist as Assistant Secretary for Human Rights~Her idea of human rights is cheering the destruction of Israel

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

When Airbnb began boycotting the homes of Jews living in those parts of Israel claimed by Islamic terrorists, the Jewish communities of the United States rallied against the dot com.

Sarah Margon however stood against the Jewish communities and with the Airbnb boycott.

“Airbnb to remove listings in Israeli settlements of occupied West Bank. Thanks @Airbnb for showing some good leadership here. Other companies should follow suit,” she tweeted.

“Airbnb is playing a role by supporting the settlement real estate infrastructure — they’re perpetuating an illegal activity,” Margon ranted. “There is no way for a company…to do business in the settlements without violating the laws of occupation.”

That’s the woman Biden picked as his Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.

"Yesterday @Airbnb agreed to stop renting in the Israeli-occupied settlements," Margon argued. "Other companies should follow @Airbnb's lead."

BDS will now have a powerful ally within the Biden administration and the State Department.

Margon’s hatred for Israel was not surprising. The leftist extremist was heading up the Human Rights Watch office in Washington D.C. HRW has defended BDS and recently issued a report falsely accusing Israel of apartheid. Airbnb’s temporary surrender to BDS was an HRW project

Sarah Margon was defending an HRW policy. HRW’s Deputy Director for the region had agreed in an interview that it was a crime for Jews to live anywhere in the West Bank. That same HRW official recently argued that the Biden administration should support the “right” to boycott Israel. Margon’s appointment would make that much more likely. So much for human rights.

Margon was active on social media “urging companies to pull out of the Israeli Settlements”, but her hatred for the Jewish State goes beyond an economic war of BDS in all its forms.

When Peter Beinart put out his infamous, “I No Longer Believe in a Jewish State” op-ed, Margon highlighted an excerpt calling for one state and the destruction of Israel.

“Peter Beinart on fire,” she cheered.

That’s Biden’s Assistant Secretary for Human Rights supporting the destruction of Israel.

Sarah Michelle Margon is one of a number of anti-Israel activists Biden picked including Maher Bitar, who was pictured dancing in a keffiyah in front of a banner reading, “Divest from Israel Apartheid” and is now Biden’s Senior Director for Intelligence on the National Security Council, and Hady Amr, who described being “inspired by the Palestinian intifada” and is now Biden’s point man on the conflict between Israel and the terrorists fighting to destroy the Jewish State.

Reema Dodin, Biden's Deputy White House Legislative Director, had argued that, “suicide bombers were the last resort of a desperate people.”

Margon’s selection isn’t surprising for an administration that appears determined to put a few moderates out front while packing the policy ranks full of anti-American and anti-Israel extremists. At one point Matt Duss, an ally of Margon, Bernie’s foreign policy advisor, and one of the more infamously anti-Israel figures in the echo chamber, was under consideration.

While Margon may not be up there with Duss, whom she’s praised and promoted, her attacks on Israel and opposition to Jewish civil rights was consistent. When she wasn’t attacking Israel, she was attacking the idea of protecting Jewish students from her anti-Israel collaborators.

When President Trump signed Executive Order 13899 on Combating Anti-Semitism at colleges, Margon complained that it "ostensibly addresses antisemitism. But in reality it's a bogus initiative geared to stifle free speech & go after those who might criticize Israel."

Margon’s hatred and hostility for the Jewish state were relentless.

As Hamas supporters rioted at Israel’s border fence with the terrorist statelet, a New York Times puff piece celebrated one of the rioters who was “screaming ‘Allahu akbar!’ and hurling stones”.

Sarah Margon tweeted a link to it with the comment, “Extra important read when the new US SecState comes out of the gate noting Israel has a right to defend itself.”

When the Obama administration stood against Israel, she tweeted, “Vote affirms illegality of settlements, longstanding US policy. Thank you @POTUS.”

Margon repeatedly complained that the United States was providing Israel with military equipment and falsely accused it of “exploiting COVID-19 & using it as a pretext for repression.”

“Such brutality & injustice rarely so stark,” she tweeted about a piece smearing Israel over casualties in Gaza.

After HRW, Sarah Margon joined one of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations as its director of foreign policy advocacy. The OSFs fund BDS groups and Soros, its backer, has blamed antisemitism on Jews and the “pro-Israel lobby”. "If we change that direction, then anti-Semitism also will diminish,” the extremist anti-Israel billionaire has argued.

"Despite what Giuliani wants you to think, being Jewish is not decided by political preference or how you live your life or how much you support Israel," Margon, who is of Jewish ancestry, had argued. But how you live your life does determine if you’re Jewish or not.

And part of that is opposing antisemitism and the murder of Jews.

A snapshot of Margon’s activism can be seen in her Twitter feed which shows her promoting attacks on Israel by HRW’s Abier Almasri who has defended terrorists. In one article promoted by Margon, Almasri described, “three military assaults Israel has launched during its armed conflicts with the Hamas-led Gaza authority since 2008”. Not Hamas terrorists: authority.

"Starting our day off right - visit to @RashidaTlaib," Margon tweeted in 2019 about accompanying Almasri to the militantly anti-Israel and pro-terrorist House member.

Included in the tweet was Omar Shakir, an HRW BDS activist, on whose behalf Margon had campaigned when Israel told him to leave. “Where is the US on the ouster of my colleague @OmarSShakir from Israel? Virtually silent, just like on the Israeli security forces’ disproportionate attacks on Palestinians in Gaza,” Margon complained in 2018.

But it wasn’t just the Islamic Jihadis trying to murder Jews who animated Margon’s activism.

When President Trump took out the head of ISIS and said, “he died like a dog”, Margon whined about his “aggressive language” which “can easily be used to recruit & radicalize.”

“US is illegally transferring foreign ISIS suspects from Syria to Iraq, leading to botched trials & torture,” another tweet complained.

All of this will have severe consequences for American soldiers who have come under fire from Sarah Margon before.

When Air Force pilots bombed an Afghan hospital that Taliban fighters had been using, Margon wrote a letter to Obama's Secretary of Defense on behalf of HRW demanding a "criminal investigation" and the "possible criminal liability of US personnel."

Our men and women in uniform, like the Israelis, have to watch out.

The Biden administration is coming for them.

The Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) has been gradually moving to the radical left spectrum. Moderates have been leaving the church in droves in recent decades. As of 2019, the PCUSA membership numbered 1.3 million, down from 3.1 million in 1993. Its radical social justice agenda has come at the expense of traditional values. Chased away by the radicalization of the church, many have found the evangelical (Protestant) churches far more appealing. The issues that the PCUSA officialdom has gotten involved with go beyond domestic issues, such as taking sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The church officialdom has supported Palestinian Muslim terrorists, seeking to undermine the Jewish state by condemning Israel’s efforts to protect its citizenry from Arab-Palestinian killers. The “woke” PCUSA is enamored with radical Palestinians whom the PCUSA has designated as “victims.”

At its latest 2020 General Assembly (GA) in Baltimore, the PCUSA has adopted the radical left terminology, using the term “White Supremacy.” This is clearly in accord with the Marxist, racist, and anti-Semitic Black Lives Matter (BLM). Pandering to the BLM’s agenda means that only Black Lives Matter, while Jewish lives and property do not matter. In last summer’s riots and looting by the BLM and Antifa groups, Jewish places of worship in LA were desecrated, shops were burned, and white people beaten. The Times of Israel reported (June 3, 2020) that, “Graffiti on the walls of synagogues read ‘free Palestine’ and ‘f*** Israel.’ A statue of Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Hungarian Jews from the Nazis, was smeared with anti-Semitic slogans. Along with synagogues, Jewish-owned buildings, and stores were defaced with anti-Semitic graffiti. Businesses were looted, too.” The Times of Israel also pointed out that the Jewish-owned Canter Deli was spared destruction because it posted a sign expressing solidarity with the BLM movement, out of fear and intimidation.

The same PCUSA officials who rush to condemn Israel and “White Supremacy” said nothing of the BLM’s riots, looting, and anti-Semitic slogans they smeared on defaced synagogues. The same anti-Semitic and radical elements that dominate the political left today now controls the resolutions issued and passed by the PCUSA. While alleging to be serving the cause of social justice, the PCUSA radicals engage in supporting the likes of the BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions against Israel only) anti-Semitic attacks against the Jewish state, and by extension, on supporters of Israel in general.

If the biennial GA in 2020 was marked by limitations caused by the coronavirus pandemic, no such limitations occurred in the 2018 General Assembly in St. Louis, Missouri. The Israel/Palestine Mission Network (IPMN) once again championed support for the anti-Israel BDS movement by passing a number of resolutions condemning Israel. Bassem Eid, a Palestinian Muslim civil-rights activist who attended the GA in order to bring balance and fairness on issues pertaining to Israel/Palestine, was verbally attacked for condemning the one-sided resolutions offered by the PCUSA against the Jewish state.

The PCUSA GA News reported (June 19, 2018) that, “Eleven out of 13 resolutions considered by the (Middle East) Committee addressed issues surrounding Israel/Palestine. The committee rejected one resolution condemning the militarization of Palestinian children to be used in attacks against Israeli civilians. The committee also disapproved a resolution that would no longer classify Israel as a “colonial Project.”

The sheer chutzpah and shamelessness, not to mention the ignorance and malice of the PCUSA Middle East committee, is simply astounding. They have obviously ignored the Bible and G-d’s promise to the Children of Israel. Clearly, for the radical leftists in the PCUSA, the Bible no longer matters. However, aside from the biblical confirmation of the Jewish rights to the land and two Jewish commonwealths that even the Quran affirms (Jews/Israelites were the only people that created a national life in the land, all others were conquerors. While the Romans exiled the Jews and destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem, Jews always clung to the land of Israel), there is the November 1947 United Nations Partition resolution (#181) passed by a two-third majority and adopted. It called for the creation of both a Jewish and Arab sovereign state in Palestine, which ended the colonial British Mandate. While the Jewish-Palestinians accepted the partition, and on May 14, 1948, declared the establishment of the State of Israel, the Arab-Palestinians rejected the partition and statehood, and together with seven neighboring Arab states, set out to destroy the nascent Jewish state of Israel. There would be no Arab-Palestinian refugee problem today had they accepted partition. A peaceful relationship with their Jewish neighbors was never an option considered by the Palestinian-Arabs. They were led by an arch anti-Semite and racist, Haj Amin el-Husseini, who was Hitler’s ally and urged the German Nazis to liquidate the Jews of Palestine in the same way they had dealt with European Jewry. The Arab-Palestinians gambled on the destruction of the Jews of Israel even in the aftermath of the Holocaust.

The anti-Israel sentiments within the PCUSA establishment is clearly evident in the rejection of the above two resolutions while adopting all the anti-Israel resolutions. Apparently, the PCUSA wants to score points against Israel by sacrificing Palestinian-Arab children in order to adopt further anti-Israel resolutions. Of course, killing Israeli civilians by terrorist Palestinian children is encouraged by the PCUSA. The GA had, in addition, urged the real estate company RE/MAX, LLC, “to do everything within its legal and moral power to stop facilitating the sale of property in Israeli settlement colonies.” They also condemned “Violence against Palestinians during the Great March of Return protests along the Gaza Strip.”

As a witness to the so-called “March of Return protests,” it must be said first, that it was a violent march, with Hamas and Islamic Jihad snipers targeting Israeli soldiers. Second, bombs attached to kites torched Israeli agricultural fields in the Israeli Negev. Of course, one would not expect the PCUSA radicals to acknowledge such Palestinian terror. Moreover, unprovoked, Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza have regularly, and intentionally, fired rockets at Israeli civilians and children. The edict by the PCUSA of not selling homes to Jews in Judea and Samaria is reminiscent of the Nazi boycotts. Judea and Samaria Jewish settlements are legal as pointed out by former US secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The territories are disputed territories under the UNSC resolution 242. And since there has never been a Palestinian state, they are hardly “Palestinian territories,” and Israelis have as much right to settle there as Palestinian-Arabs do.

Much of the anti-Israel action by the PCUSA has been driven by the IPMN. In the 2014 GA, the PCUSA approved an anti-Israel divestment measure. The anti-Israel measures continued in the 2016 GA with several resolutions aimed to pressure Israel to leave the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria.

Dexter Van Zile, a research fellow at the Committee for Accuracy in the Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), and a Christian believer pointed out in his Times of Israel blog (May 9, 2018) that a relatively small number of anti-Israel activists in the PCUSA have effectively hijacked the denomination’s polity and used it to affirm a dishonest narrative that portrays Israel as a singular enemy of human rights in the Middle East. Van Zile suggested that “Over the past decade or so, the word ‘Presbyterian’ has become synonymous with Jew-hatred and unreasonable hostility toward Israel.”

Nikki Haley to Newsmax TV: Kerry ‘Disgusting,’ Should Be Off Security Council FOR REVEALING to Iran information on military operations that had been conducted by Israel

Special Climate Envoy John Kerry denies allegations he detailed covert Israeli operations to Iran. Fox News senior strategic analyst Gen. Jack Keane reacts amid growing U.S. tensions with the regime.

Nikki Haley, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and ex-South Carolina governor, on Monday called President Joe Biden’s special climate envoy, John Kerry, “disgusting” and said he should be yanked off the National Security Council for revealing to Iran information on military operations that had been conducted by Israel.

Appearing on Newsmax TV, Haley was incensed at a report that Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told an Iranian academic – in a conversation that was recorded – that Kerry, as secretary of state under President Barack Obama, disclosed details on some 200 incidences in which Israel attacked Iranian targets in Syria.

“This is truly horrifying,” Haley said on “Rob Schmitt Tonight." “I mean the idea that Kerry would do this is appalling in its own right, but Biden and Kerry have to answer for this. He should not be sitting on the National Security Council. He shouldn't be involved with any of our foreign policy if this is what he does.

“And then the worst part is to stab our ally Israel in the back, and take up for Iran, who's the largest state sponsor of terrorism? It's ... ludicrous.”

The alleged disclosure was detailed in a New York Times story, which obtained a copy of the audio recording. The result: a series of condemnations directed at Kerry, who was involved in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA – better known as the “Iran nuclear deal.”

Kerry has denied the claims by Zarif, taking to Twitter on Monday to bluntly call them “unequivocally false.”

But Haley seemed unconvinced by Kerry’s version of events, suggesting that it fit a pattern set by Obama and his vice president, Joe Biden.

“You know, it goes back to Obama that says ‘Obama 2.0,” Haley said. “Obama loved Iran. I mean and he took it to Israel every chance he got and they've been humiliated by them right until the very end. And you know, now we're watching. Basically, Biden's falling all over himself to do business with Iran again, which is just everyone around the world is not going to understand why.

“Biden is doing this, but really to do. This to our friend Israel is just disgusting. It is unbelievable. It doesn't make any sense.”
