Despite more than 100 fatalities inside the United States from Islamist terror attacks since 9/11, and a series of foiled and failed jihadi plots, a new report claims there is no real Islamist terrorist threat in the United States.

The dozens of thwarted jihadist plots, it argues, were made up out of whole cloth to entrap innocent Muslims.

The report further portrays the "War on Terror" as a "War on Islam," an old ploy used by Islamist groups that actually has been shown to radicalize. The report also advises that Muslim Americans "not open the doors of their mosques and community centers to the FBI and law enforcement until entrapment and targeting of communities ends," a long time obstructionist goal of American Islamists.

But the report's objectivity is suspect. One chapter's author, and the executive director of one of its sponsors, the Coalition for Civil Freedoms (CCF), are the adult children of a convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operative. The PIJ is a terrorist group committed to destroying Israel and creating an Islamic state in its place.

Sami Al-Arian's Turkey-based academic program, the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA), was a participant in a "Terror Trap Conference" Oct.18-19 to promote the report. Al-Arian wrote one of the report's chapters. He and his daughter Leena, the CCF executive director, are listed among the report's editors.

Al-Arian served on the PIJ's Shura, or leadership council. But, given the heavy Al-Arian family involvement in the report, it is not surprising to find that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad is never mentioned. Instead, Abdullah Al-Arian's chapter portrays his father as a victim of law enforcement targeting.

"The 2003 arrest and subsequent trial of Sami Al-Arian, a university professor, Palestine activist, and civil rights advocate send shockwaves across the American Muslim community due to his prominent role in promoting civic engagement, lobbying, and electoral politics," writes Abdullah Al-Arian, an associate professor of history at Georgetown University's Qatar campus.

Called "a master manipulator" by the federal judge presiding over his case, Sami Al-Arian pleaded guilty in 2006 to conspiring to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of PIJ. He was deported to Turkey in 2015 as part of that plea agreement where he now heads CIGA.

Abdullah Al-Arian also mentions the Hamas financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) in his analysis of "the witch-hunt against American Muslim institutions, and the ways in which they were systemically attacked."

"HLF officers were sentenced to up to 65 years in federal prison, despite the government never providing any evidence that the charitable donations were used to fund violence," he writes.

Although prosecutors did not tie HLF charitable donations to an actual Hamas attack, they did prove that the Islamist charity praised Hamas, promoted its propaganda, hosted leaders of the terrorist group as speakers and sent money to Hamas-controlled zakat, or charity, committees.

Testimony and other evidence produced in court showed over $12 million dollars had been funneled by the Islamist charity to Hamas. In fact, the charity was part of a Muslim Brotherhood-created Hamas-support network in the U.S. called the "Palestine Committee" to advance Hamas' political and financial goals in the country.

Al-Arian also alleged that "law enforcement agencies seeking to justify the exorbitant material resources and permissive legal terrain they enjoyed began to rely increasingly on paid informants to entrap unsuspecting Muslim youth into terror plots that those federal authorities would then foil." He gave examples of the "Newburgh Four" and the "Fort Dix Five" terror plots.

Blaming Law Enforcement

At the conference featuring sessions moderated by their father's center, CCF Executive Director Leena Al-Arian echoed her brother's claims that Islamist terrorists are a law enforcement creation. "There are no sleeper cells in the United States and almost 95% of all national security cases are a result of this deeply flawed law enforcement strategy called preemptive prosecution," she said, citing a 2019 report her center co-produced with the Islamic Circle for North America (ICNA) Council for Social Justice and Project SALAM, a Muslim legal advocacy group.

A federal appeals court upheld the Fort Dix Five convictions in 2011. The five men plotted to kill U.S. military personnel in an armed attack on a military base. A unanimous ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit rejected the appeal. The investigation started with a tip about a video showing the defendants "at a firing range in the Pocono Mountains, shooting weapons and shouting 'Allah Akbar!' and 'jihad in the States.'" The subsequent investigation produced evidence that the group "viewed and shared videos of violent jihadist activities, including beheadings, around the world; they viewed and shared videos of lectures advocating violent jihad against non-Muslims; they sought to acquire numerous weapons, including automatic firearms and rocket propelled grenades; they returned to the Poconos, where they again engaged in shooting practice; they discussed plans to attack the United States military."

The Newburgh Four were convicted in a 2009 plot to bomb Bronx synagogues and shoot down U.S. military planes. But at the "Terror Trap" conference, CCF board chair Steve Downs, described them as "hapless kids... that had no money had no car had no ability to do anything were talked in [sic] offered $250,000 to engage in a terrorist plot."

In a recording, the group's leader James Cromitie was heard telling an FBI informant, "The worst brother in Islam is better than 10 billion Yahudi [Jew]." "With no hesitation, I will kill 10 Yahudis [Jews]." Cromitie also expressed a desire to "do something to America" and "die like a shahid, a martyr."

Although an appeals court acknowledged that there would have been no case without the informant, it upheld the convictions.

Downs also claimed that there are "no terrorists at home" and accused the FBI of "creating terrorists." "They need the terrorists because that is how they justify the budget and how they ... justify creating all of this surveillance which basically locks them into power...allows them to control the Muslim community."

CCF describes itself as "a coalition of civil liberties and human rights organizations that challenges preemptive prosecution and the post-9/11 targeting, surveillance, and criminalization of Muslim communities." CCF is also known as the National Coalition to Protect Civil Freedoms (NCPCF), an organization Al-Arian helped found in 2010. He continues to promote the group from Turkey.

What's Missing?

The report, co-sponsored by a host of Islamist organizations including The Islamic Circle for North America (ICNA) Council for Social JusticeCAGECIGA, Muslim Justice League, and United Voices for America, does not mention any post-9/11 jihadist terror attacks in the United States that were motivated by an Islamist ideology.

In May 2020, for example, 20-year-old Adam Alsahli opened fire at the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, injuring a sailor. Alsahli, who was killed after Naval police returned fire, had expressed support for key Muslim Brotherhood leaders and al-Qaida, according to his social media posts.

A year earlier, Saudi Air Force officer Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani shot and killed three U.S. sailors and wounded eight others at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida. Al-Qaida's affiliate in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) took credit for the attack and U.S. officials subsequently revealed that al-Qaida operatives had regularly communicated with Alshamrani.

In 2015, 14 people were gunned down at a San Bernardino office Christmas party by husband and wife jihadists Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. The couple had "self-radicalized" online and Malik had pledged allegiance to now-deceased ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

When he paused in his slaughter of 49 people at Orlando's Pulse nightclub, Omar Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS and told a 911 operator that "America [needs] to stop bombing Syria and Iraq. They are killing a lot of innocent people." His attack was triggered, he said, by a U.S. strike that killed an ISIS commander in Iraq.

Though far-right terrorism represents a significant, increasing threat, a December 2020 Global Terrorism Index (GTI) report shows that "the deadliest form of terrorism in the West over the past two decades has been religious terrorism, which has almost exclusively taken the form of radical Islamist terrorism." Islamist terrorist organizations caused more than half of the total deaths recorded in 2019.

Speakers at the "Terror Trap" conference also blamed Israel and the "Zionist lobby" for using the war on terror to inhibit efforts within the Muslim community "to organize for Palestinian liberation or against Zionism."

Celine Qussiny who serves on the Palestinian Youth Movement's (PYM) national executive board, claimed that Israel "played a critical role in developing...the racially manufactured hysteria that legitimized the expansions of borders and policing and militarization and predictive policing and extra judicial killings and crowd control and surveillance." PYM has honored leaders of the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).

In line with the report's overall anti-Israel and anti-Zionist bias, a policy recommendation advises Muslim institutions to "not partner with Zionist organizations. It is important to understand the role of such organizations within the broader context of the War on terror, which builds off the narrative of Palestinian 'terrorism.' Muslims should not accept training by such groups including the Anti–Defamation League (ADL) and should, under no circumstance, partner with them."

This isn't the first time purported counter-narratives about the war on terrorism have become an Al-Arian family affair. There are reasonable ways to criticize viewed excesses in the war on terrorism, but pretending there is not, and has not been, an Islamist terror threat to the United States, calls the effort's legitimacy into question. The "Terror Trap" is a naked attempt to ignore the record and promote dangerous policy ideas.

Some of them will likely be coming north before too long. Some may already have.

“Report: Palestinian terrorists finding safe haven in Venezuela,” Arutz Sheva, November 1, 2021 (thanks to Henry):

Last week, Israel Hayom reported that a Venezuelan hacker group by the name Team HDP broke into the country’s Directorate General of Military Counterintelligence, gaining access to information on purported Hezbollah operatives living freely in the country under the protection of President Nicolas Maduro’s socialist government.

Now, new details have emerged: According to the information stolen by Team HDP, Venezuela also hosts Palestinian terrorist cells involved in money laundering, drug dealing, and terrorist activity, among other crimes. It was also revealed that Cuba’s foreign intelligence agency plays a central role in the matter.

One of the Palestinian cells, according to the information from Venezuela’s Directorate General of Military Counterintelligence, allegedly belongs to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah faction. The cell reportedly consists of at least four men identified as “doctors,” whose cover includes working for Venezuela’s national social security agency in Merida state in the country’s northwest. “Fawaz Snofar,” “Mahmoud Khalaf,” and “Muhammad Abu-Rah” are some of the names that appear on the list.

The report alleges that the Palestinian “doctor” cell is responsible for the deaths of several patients due to medical malpractice, possibly the result of their questionable medical bona fides. One of the names mentioned on the list, “Khaled Badawi,” is said to be of Pakistani origin and allegedly belongs to several Palestinian terrorist groups….

Biden’s handlers send $144,000,000 in ‘aid’ to Taliban’s Afghanistan

Democrats fund terrorism the way that Republicans cut taxes. And so the Biden administration is determined to keep sending money to Afghanistan even after the Taliban takeover.

While Americans can’t afford to buy a house, put gas in their cars, or food on their plates, Biden’s sending $144 million to Afghanistan.

The United States announced Thursday it is providing nearly $144 million in new humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, where millions of people could face acute hunger this winter unless aid arrives soon.

National Security Council spokesperson Emily Horne said in a statement the U.S. assistance will be directed through independent organizations that provide support directly to more than 18.4 million vulnerable Afghans, including Afghan refugees in neighboring countries.

Sending it through “independent organizations” provides plausible deniability when those organizations and their staffers…

1. Pay protection money to the Taliban and possibly even ISIS-K

2. Pay Taliban taxes

3. Hire Taliban personnel and contract with companies either directly controlled by the Taliban or that pay money to the Taliban

These are the primary mechanisms for directing aid money to the Taliban.

She noted that the additional funding brings the total U.S. humanitarian aid in Afghanistan and for Afghan refugees in the region to nearly $474 million in 2021, the largest amount of assistance from any nation.

Not actually something to brag about considering the only thing it’s done is armed and financed Islamic terrorists.

But Blinken insists that this time it’ll be different.

“To be clear, this humanitarian assistance will benefit the people of Afghanistan and not the Taliban, whom we will continue to hold accountable for the commitments they have made,” he asserted.

Asserted is the correct term. It’s a baseless assertion that is obviously and transparently false.

The official press release states that, “This assistance is provided directly to independent humanitarian organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), International Organization for Migration (IOM), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other international and non-governmental organizations following extensive vetting and monitoring.”

As I warned in my article, “10% of Biden’s Afghanistan Aid Will Go To Taliban,” UN groups had signed up with the Taliban a long time ago.

The Taliban had set up its Commission for the Arrangement and Control of Companies and Organisations at least over a decade ago. Much like the old Afghan government, it made few distinctions between for-profit companies and non-profit charities, and taxed them both.

The Taliban at one point provided a list of non-profits that had registered with their Commission for the Arrangement and Control of Companies and Organisations. The group “included UN agencies, national and international NGOs and human rights organisations” including those that  “rely on funding from a wide range of sources, including both the UN and the US government”.

That was back in 2013 when the Taliban had far less power and were less intimidating.

Did Blinken’s vetting compare the list of “independent organizations” USAID will be funding with the list of those on the Taliban’s Commission? The information certainly exists, but you can bet that the State Department won’t release it or act on it.

Are Afghan Refugees Behind the Virginia ISIS Threat?

ISIS Threat in Northern Virginia: Afghan Refugees?

BY ROBERT SPENCER

Police Chief Kevin Davis of Fairfax County, Virginia, announced Friday that “we have increased our police presence throughout the county to include major thoroughfares, transit hubs, shopping plazas, and shopping malls.” This was reportedly in response to a terrorism threat; police sources said that their increased presence would last through Halloween weekend and possibly through election day on Tuesday.

The odd aspect of this announcement, coming as it does from deep-blue and electorally vulnerable Virginia authorities, is that the threat doesn’t come from those “white supremacists” we keep hearing so much about but who only ever seem to appear as deep fakes by the Left. Instead, it comes from that so-very-2015 threat that we all know is over and done with since the adults are back in charge: the Islamic State (ISIS).

ISIS, said CBS News, “has been more active since the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August. Officials say threats from the international terrorist group and al Qaeda are accelerating.” And according to the Department of Homeland Security’s intelligence chief, John Cohen, “Right now we’re seeing a dramatic increase — or an increase — in online activity by media operations associated with different al Qaeda elements and Islamic State.”

Meanwhile, Jack Posobiec of Human Events tweeted late Friday evening: “Two US officials tell @HumanEvents that the ISIS threat alert in Northern VA / DC region is related to Afghan refugees.” He added that some Secret Service agents “are concerned DC-area ISIS threat may be related to a report of 3 Afghan refugees who forced their way off a bus earlier this month.”

There is nothing incredible about this. Defense One reported in late August that “security screeners at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar have detected that at least one of the Afghans who was evacuated from Kabul Airport has potential ties to ISIS, a U.S. official confirmed to Defense One.” How likely is it that he was the only one?

Business Insider reported on August 15 that “thousands of inmates, including former Islamic State and al-Qaeda fighters, were released from a prison on the outskirts of Kabul… Footage published by an independent Afghan news agency, which supports the Taliban, appears to show militants letting the inmates out.” What possible safeguards have been in place in Kabul to prevent some of those jihadis from coming to the United States as “refugees”? How likely is it that the strongest, most violent, and most ruthless among the Afghans were able to muscle their way onto the planes to America?

What’s more, witless and woke Biden administration authorities have no idea who many of these refugees are. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) recently disclosed that 12,000 of the Afghans who are at this moment in the United States were brought here despite the fact that they had no identification at all: “They came with nothing. No Afghan I.D., no I.D. of any sort. Those people were all forwarded on to the U.S., and that’s quite an admission. So many people had no I.D. whatsoever and yet find themselves in the United States today based on what they said.”

Who could they be? Well, they could be any number of things, and one of them is that at least some of them could be members of ISIS.

Related: Grateful Refugee Plots to Bomb Pittsburgh Church

Nor do authorities know where many of these refugees are. Reuters reported at the beginning of this month that at least 700 Afghan evacuees engaged in “independent departures” from the U.S. military bases where they were being housed. Over 300 have vanished from Fort Bliss alone. Are some of them in Northern Virginia now, plotting a jihad massacre?

Whether they are or not now, it is likely that some Afghan jihadis did enter the United States with the refugees and that we will be hearing from them sooner or later. One of Biden’s handlers has admitted that ten of the Afghan evacuees have already been detained as risks to national security. How many more have managed to navigate through the Biden administration’s shoddy vetting processes (this is a regime that doesn’t even acknowledge that Islamic jihad terrorism exists, much less knows how to spot warning signs of jihadist sympathies) and are now in the United States? We will find out sooner or later, and if not in Northern Virginia over the Halloween weekend, then sometime soon, somewhere in the United States.

Even worse: The Biden administration’s handling of the Afghan evacuees is just one of the ways in which it is proceeding with absolutely no concern for national security or for the safety and well-being of the American people. The consequences will eventually be catastrophic, not for the cosseted elites who have brought this upon us, but for the ordinary Americans who, as always, have to bear the burden of their America-last policies.

Kansas City: Student denounces CHRISTIAN teacher for criticizing Islam, LGBTQ~teacher is placed on leave

BY ROBERT SPENCER

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/10/kansas-city-student-denounces-teacher;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

This teacher was denounced by one of his students, just as in totalitarian regimes such as National Socialist Germany and the Soviet Union, where young people, so easily led, were exhorted to report their elders who deviated from the groupthink of the day. At Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, the little Hitler Youth reported his English teacher to his superiors for daring to express his Christian faith, which is so far from what is politically and ideologically correct these days that the young Stalinist was shocked out of his Mao suits when the teacher expressed his convictions that Islam was false and that homosexuality was wrong. He doesn’t appear to have gone beyond that; in other words, he didn’t say that any violence or anything untoward at all should be done to Muslims or homosexuals; he just expressed his disapproval. But that was enough for this budding Stasi agent, and he turned him in. Then the school suspended the teacher, saying they did so in order to preserve a safe environment for students — because as everyone knows, words that dissent from the Left’s agenda equal violence.

The fact that this young man’s Muslim friends would affirm their conviction that Christianity is false and that homosexuality is wrong is likely something he does not know, and would not care about if he did know. He knows that Muslims are a protected class and any criticism of Islam would be “Islamophobic.” That is all he knows, and all he needs to know.

“KCPS teacher criticized for remarks about Muslims and LGBTQ+ population,” by Betsy Webster, KCTV, October 28, 2021:

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) — A teacher at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy High School has been placed on leave because of some controversial comments he made in class.

Students report the 10th grade English teacher was preaching about Christianity, then disparaging Muslims and LGBTQ+ people.

KCTV5 talked with a student with his mom’s permission and agreed not to use his name to keep strangers from contacting him. That student was in the class where it happened Monday. He said it came out of the blue 10 minutes into class.

“And then he kind of got a little emotional and said, ‘If I get fired for this, I don’t really care. I care more about you guys’ and then started to say stuff about how God loves us and he’s going to save us and how if you don’t, like, basically convert to Christianity, then you’re going to live a bad life,” the student recounted. “It was very uncomfortable.”

Students then started debating with the teacher, he said. He recorded a portion of the interchange on his phone and shared the video with KCTV, which goes as follows:

Teacher: Homophobia. What does that mean, like scared of homosexuals?
Student: Homosexuality is a sin in the Bible.
Teacher: Yes.
Student: Meaning it’s a bad thing in the Bible.
Teacher: Yes.
Student: (Unintelligible)
Teacher: Like, what makes saying that homosexuality is wrong not a horrible thing?
Student: Yeah, not a horrible (unintelligible).
Teacher: It’s just a wrong thing.
Students then reportedly asked about other religions.

“He said that he thinks Muslims are wrong and that Mohammed was a terrible person,” the student recalled.

The principal sent an email to parents saying, in part, “Both LCPA [Lincoln College Preparatory Academy] and KCPS [Kansas City Public Schools] are committed to a school environment that is safe and welcoming for everyone, including honoring separation of church and state within our school community.”

The student KCTV5 interviewed was pleased with how the administration handled the situation, noting that he emailed the principal from class and the teacher was gone at the end of the next period.

A district spokeswoman sent the following statement:

“Our students deserve better than what they got, and we are so grateful to the students who came forward to make us aware of what was happening. Once our administrators were made aware, they went into the teacher’s classroom to observe. At that point the teacher was removed from the classroom and placed on administrative leave.”

“I’m pretty sure like 99% of everyone is agreeing that he should not come back to school for a while,” the reporting student said of the student body’s response.

He said there are a significant number of Muslim and LGBTQ+ students at the school, adding that — until yesterday — the teacher was well-liked for giving students a lot of creative freedom on writing assignments.

The district spokeswoman said any disciplinary action would come after an internal investigation, which began immediately….

Republicans introduce bill to stop Jerusalem consulate for Palestinians

BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/10/republicans-introduce-bill-to-stop-jerusalem-consulate-for-palestinians;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

In the face of the Biden administration’s lack of support for Israel — from its open rebuke of Israeli settlement policies in Judea and Samaria to establishing a Jerusalem consulate to Palestinians — some Republicans have introduced a bill to stop the latter, which is welcome news.

Although Biden has said he won’t reverse Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, he proceeded with a move that would in effect symbolically neutralize Trump’s gesture. Reopening the Palestinian consulate in Jerusalem is inappropriate, given the Palestinian goal to annihilate Israel. It provides a further opportunity for the Palestinians to target Israel and exacerbate divisions in Jerusalem. We can hope that Israel will block Biden’s plans.

Biden’s overall stance on Israel has far-reaching implications; he is encouraging jihad and antagonism against Israel. America’s stance will likely have an adverse impact in the next round of Palestinian jihadist rocket fire against Israel, which is inevitable, so that when Israel defends itself, pro-Palestinian protests, accompanied by antisemitic flareups, will likely gain even more momentum, as was already seen in May during Operation Guardian of the Walls.

Also, last month, the Squad “forced Iron Dome funding to be pulled from a bill to keep the United States government funded.” The Iron Dome intercepts incoming rockets on Israeli territory, thus saving many lives, while Palestinian leadership has no problem with using their own people as human shields.

“GOP bill seeks to stop Jerusalem consulate for Palestinians” by Lahav Harkov, Jerusalem Post, October 26, 2021:

US Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, along with 33 other Republican senators, introduced a bill on Tuesday meant to block the Biden administration from opening a consulate serving Palestinians in Jerusalem.

The Upholding the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Law Act of 2021 is meant to ensure the full implementation of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act and stop what Hagerty views as the Biden administration’s attempted subversion of that law.

US President Joe Biden has said he will not reverse former president Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

However, Biden promised in his election campaign that he would reopen the consulate to the Palestinians in Jerusalem, which was merged into the US Embassy to Israel in 2018, when Trump implemented the 1995 law and moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other US officials have said they will reopen the consulate, which was historically in a building on Agron Street in downtown Jerusalem.

The US would need Israel’s approval to open a consulate, and the current Israeli government opposes the move.

Hagerty said: “It is regrettable that the Biden administration insists on making moves that divide the United States and Israel when our two nations should be laser-focused on stopping Iran’s terror-sponsoring regime from going nuclear, on countering growing threats from Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Iran-backed terrorist groups, and on strengthening and expanding the historic Abraham Accords that truly have increased peace in the Middle East.”

“The Trump administration kept its promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish State, and Congress must do everything in our power to strengthen our posture,” he added.

The new act quotes the 1995 law, which states, “Jerusalem should remain an undivided city,” and calls for it to be recognized as the capital of Israel and the relocation of the US Embassy.….

Impeach Kamala Harris for Afghanistan Betrayal

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/10/impeach-kamala-harris-for-afghanistan-betrayal;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Impeachment ensures Kamala and her boss won’t get any more Americans killed.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

“Were you the last person in the room?” CNN’s Dana Bash asked Kamala Harris.

“Yes,” Kamala Harris nodded.

“And you feel comfortable?”

“I do,” she replied.

The subject under discussion was Biden’s disastrous decision to pull out of Afghanistan, preceding a civilian withdrawal with a military pullout, failing to coordinate with allies, and ultimately creating the nation’s greatest hostage crisis while arming the Taliban terrorists.

Kamala had boasted of being the ’last person in the room’ when Biden makes big decisions. When Biden decided to betray Americans and aid the Taliban, it was no different. Afterward the ‘last person in the room’ was also the last person to want to answer questions about her role in the fateful decision that killed 13 American military personnel and revived Al Qaeda.

After the Taliban seized Kabul, leaving Americans stranded behind enemy lines, Kamala ducked questions and left the country. When a reporter tried to ask her about the Americans left behind in Afghanistan before her flight, she giggled and replied that they couldn’t be a “higher priority”.

And then she flew off to Singapore where she toured flower gardens and had an orchid named after her while Americans were being beaten by the Taliban in the streets of Kabul.

Kamala also took time out to meet with Halimah Yacob, Singapore’s first female Muslim president, selected in a rigged election with no opposing candidates in which only Malaysians could compete, and to show off another outfit by leftist Singaporean fashion designer Prabal Gurung who had falsely claimed that, “anti-blackness that is woven into the DNA of America”.

After having done her part to disgrace America in Singapore, Kamala tried to duck questions about what was happening to the Americans she had left behind as hostages in Afghanistan.

Despite Singapore penning up reporters in a separate room and forcing them to ask questions remotely, she still had to face questions about what was happening in Afghanistan. Kamala tried to avoid responsibility, arguing that, “there’s going to be plenty of time to analyze what has happened” and assured the press that “we are singularly focused on evacuating American citizens, Afghans who worked with us.” By the time the evacuation had concluded, many of the Americans and the vast majority of the Afghans had been left behind under Taliban rule.

While Kamala Harris was happy to take credit for Biden’s Afghanistan policy and to put her stamp of approval on it when it seemed like a good idea, she’s been running from it ever since. Whether it’s dodging reporters or flying off to Asia, she doesn’t want to be the last person in the room anymore. But it’s much too late for Kamala to pretend that she had nothing to do with it.

As the “last person in the room”, Kamala Harris had made a point of taking a prominent seat at nearly every intelligence and security briefing. And though she only holds down the second spot, she is in some ways more culpable for the disastrous moves in Afghanistan than Biden.

Kamala Harris visited Afghanistan more recently than Biden as part of a Senate Intelligence Committee oversight trip. As a Committee member during the years that Biden was out of office, she had access to classified information that he did not. While there were plenty of recent reports warning of an imminent collapse in Afghanistan, she would have been seeing reports for four years before Biden and had a clearer picture of recent developments in the country.

And, unlike Biden, she can’t plead dementia.

Nor was Kamala just deferring to her boss. During her visit to Afghanistan in 2018 and during her failed presidential primary campaign, she laid out essentially the same positions as Biden.

In 2019, Kamala Harris went on MSNBC’s leftist Rachel Maddow gabfest to attack President Trump’s withdrawal plan as irresponsible and fumed that a commander in chief has to “understand the seriousness and the severity of one`s decisions”.

There’s no apparent sign that Kamala understands the seriousness and severity of turning the Taliban into the heaviest armed Sunni Jihadist group on the planet or of betraying our allies.

“I was in Afghanistan days before he made that decision, and, Rachel, when I was there, I spoke with generals and I spoke with troops. There was an active conversation happening around negotiating what should be the future of Afghanistan. And then out of nowhere, the president makes his decision. It was irresponsible,” she whined on MSNBC.

Did any of the troops tell her to cut and run while leaving thousands of Americans behind?

Every promise that Kamala made, that the evacuations of Americans would be the “highest priority”, that she would bring American soldiers home “responsibly”, that she would “ensure that the country is on a path to stability, that we protect the gains that have been made for Afghan women and others, and that it never again becomes a safe haven for terrorists” were broken.

Even as the Taliban were forcing young girls to marry their terrorists, Kamala was telling reporters in Vietnam not to worry because she had spent her “entire career on the protection of women and children.”

Considering she had actually spent her career covering for the likes of Willie Brown, Bob “Filthy” Filner who got the Jeffrey Epstein special from her office, along with “one of her closest professional confidantes” who was accused of sexually harassing his assistant, not to mention Joe Biden, that’s almost as implausible as her claim that Afghanistan was her highest priority even while being named godmother to an orchid in Singapore.

When the Biden-Harris administration abandoned Americans in Afghanistan, the stranded included 8 San Diego families and 21 local students. A local school district went to work to help them. Kamala Harris ignored her former constituents as she had all the others trapped there.

In September, after Biden fled and left Americans behind, and Kamala claimed that she could be trusted because she had built her “entire career on the protection of women and children”,  a school liaison warned that, “we still have thousands of families, invisible families, who are still stuck in Afghanistan, who are U.S. passport holders, green card holders, SIV holders.”

The one politician working on the issue was a Republican congressman who declared, “The Biden administration left them behind and we didn’t rest until they were on their way home.”

A father who made it out with 5 kids thanked the Marines. He made no mention of Kamala.

Kamala Harris had spent her career betraying the people she claimed to be helping. Afghanistan is just one more chapter in her disgraceful biography. It deserves to be the last.

Biden claimed that Kamala Harris is “the last voice in the room and never fails to speak the truth.” What “truth” did Kamala speak when Biden made a series of disastrous decisions that cost the lives of American military personnel and the freedom of American civilians?

When Biden allowed the Taliban to take Kabul and screen those Americans and Afghans who were allowed to reach the airport through their checkpoints, what did Kamala have to offer?

When the Haqqani Network, allies of Al Qaeda, controlled Kabul, the checkpoints, and access to the airport for fleeing Americans, did Kamala utter a single word of protest to Joe Biden?

She was “comfortable” with it. And she still is.

Biden claimed that this would be the Biden-Harris administration. Kamala would be his partner in all things, handling calls with foreign leaders, leading diplomatic missions, and tackling crises.

As his partner, she deserves an equal share of the responsibility and the accountability.

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,” Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution states.

Kamala Harris violated the trust and duty of her office by engaging in behavior whose consequences were foreseeable to a former member of the Senate Intelligence Committee and the second highest elected official in the country with access to classified intelligence. The collapse of the Afghan government, the Taliban takeover of the country, and the fall of Kabul were not unexpected developments, but ones that plenty of people, the vast majority of whom had no access to intelligence briefings, predicted based on past and current events.

Kamala Harris attacked President Trump’s Afghanistan plan as irresponsible and claimed that she had a better plan. The entire world has seen the Biden-Harris withdrawal plan in action.

And is horrified by it.

America’s enemies are gloating and our allies are fearfully backing away. China is threatening Taiwan, Iran is accelerating its nuclear program, and Americans are being taken hostage in Haiti and Venezuela. America is in danger and the risk of war is growing because of Kamala.

A military setback is not itself an impeachable offense, but knowingly abandoning Americans and advanced military equipment to the Taliban are. When the Biden-Harris administration chose to put a military pullout ahead of a civilian one for political reasons, they turned a military retreat into the nation’s worst hostage crisis, destroyed our credibility, and disgraced our nation.

“There is going to be plenty of time to analyze what has happened and what has taken place in the context of the withdrawal from Afghanistan,” Kamala told reporters in Singapore.

The time is long since past. And the best way to begin is with an impeachment inquiry.

The Biden-Harris administration has made it clear that it will not cooperate with an ordinary investigation. The media, which was briefly critical when its reporters were under fire, has gone back to carrying the corrupt administration’s water. Impeachment hearings will remind the public of what happened and an inquiry will help make it clear who in the administration knew what.

And when they knew it.

Dead American military personnel and American civilians trapped behind enemy lines deserve the truth. And they deserve an accountability that begins with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Impeachment won’t bring back the dead, but it will ensure that Kamala and her boss don’t get any more Americans killed.

Iran’s Atrocious Human Rights Record Must Be Addressed Before New Nuclear Talks :: The Investigative Project on Terrorism

There were days in a cramped, dark room. There were days and nights at Evin prison, with bright lights and interrogations and little or no sleep. And then there was the injection, a mysterious drug his prison guards shot into Payam Derafshan's veins, triggering convulsions and seizures that caused him to bite off half his tongue. According to one report, after doctors treated Derafshan, an Iranian human rights attorney, at a nearby hospital, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps brought him to a mental institution. According to his lawyers, he was there "subjected to electric shocks, seriously damaging his neurological system and causing him to lose consciousness."

Records of Derafshan's torture emerged earlier this month, the latest in a seemingly endless line of stories of lawyers, journalists, and human rights activists jailed, tortured, even killed by Iranian state security forces. Worse, most of these savageries were committed with the approval – if not at the command – of the man who is now Iran's new president, Ebrahim Raisi – the country's former chief of the judiciary. According to the New York-based Center for Iran Human Rights in Iran, it was Raisi who oversaw "ongoing executions of juvenile offenders ... and the detainment of dual and foreign nationals to use as political bargaining chips in with other countries."

Consequently, a group of Iranian exiles filed a claim against Raisi earlier this month in Scotland, calling for him to be held accountable for human rights abuses, including his role in the 1988 massacre of nearly 30,000 political prisoners. The complaint, filed with the Scottish police, sought Raisi's arrest if he attended the UN Climate Change conference in Glasgow on Oct. 31. (He has since declined to make the trip.) The moves follow a similar call by Center for Human Rights In Iran founder and director Hadi Ghaemi, that President Biden recognizes the ongoing human rights abuses in future policies and relations with Iran.

Now, with Iran agreeing to reenter talks in November aimed at curbing its nuclear ambitions, that call is more urgent than ever.

Because it isn't only Iranian human rights activists and journalists – people like Farzaneh Zilabi, sentenced to a year in prison in September for "gathering and collusion" and "insulting the leadership"; or Narges Mohammadi, sentenced in May to 80 lashes and 30 months imprisonment for her involvement with a peaceful sit-in at Evin prison, and for publishing statements against the death penalty. It is also foreign and dual-nationals who are at risk – people like Iranian-American journalist and anti-hijab activist Masih Alinejad, the recent target of a state-sponsored kidnapping plot allegedly orchestrated by then-president Hassan Rouhani; Iranian-American businessman Emad Sharghi, sentenced in January to serve 10 years in prison on charges of spying and espionage; British and German dual-nationals, sentenced to more than ten years in August for "propaganda against the regime"; and various Dutch-Iranians in the Netherlands assassinated in recent years.

"Arguably the most notable difference today on the ground, in contrast to when the nuclear deal was signed in 2015, is the severe deterioration in Iran's dismal human-rights record," Ghaemi writes.

This is a reality the Biden administration should know. In March, the State Department issued its 2020 report on human rights in the Islamic Republic. It noted "numerous reports of unlawful or arbitrary killings; ... forced disappearance and torture by government agents, as well as systematic use of arbitrary detention and imprisonment; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions; ... severe restrictions on free expression, the press, and the internet, including violence, threats of violence, and unjustified arrests and prosecutions against journalists ... severe restrictions on religious freedom; ... lack of meaningful investigation of and accountability for violence against women; unlawful recruitment of child soldiers by government actors to support the Assad regime in Syria; trafficking in persons; violence against ethnic minorities; crimes involving violence or threats of violence targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex persons; criminalization of consensual same-sex sexual conduct; significant restrictions on workers' freedom of association; and the worst forms of child labor."

Those concerns must be addressed, and demands of justice made if any further negotiations are to take place with Iran in efforts to contain its nuclear program. As Ghaemi also notes, "the state of civil and political liberties in a country is intricately related to its foreign policies" – and research has also shown that civil and political liberties are equally related to a country's militancy, likelihood to engage in war and the stability of its society and government. There can be no stability in the Middle East, no end to the violence in the region, and no certainty of nuclear containment, unless and until Iran ends its barbaric human rights abuses.

The Biden administration must make this a condition to any negotiations in November.

Biden Mulls $450K to Illegal Immigrants for Family Separation

The Biden administration could pay illegal immigrants' families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border $450,000 per person in settlements, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The payments could amount to close to $1 million per family. Some families would likely receive smaller payouts depending on the circumstances, according to the report.

Migrant children separated from their parents at the border were supposed to be reunited with their parents by the U.S. government within 30 days. That was in 2018.

Three years later, at least 1,000 children have not been returned to their parents. The Biden administration ended the policy through an executive order in June and created a Family Reunification Task Force that, as of Oct. 8, has reunited 52 families separated under former President Donald Trump. Roughly 2,800 children were taken from their parents under the 2018 policy, according to a report from the Department of Homeland Security.

Michelle Brané, the chair of the task force, said there was no system in place for documenting separations.

''So there's nowhere to go to find out who was separated or not. It really is case-by-case detective work,'' she said during an interview with CBS' ''60 Minutes,'' adding that the situation is ''shocking.''

"60 Minutes" correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi said a border station reportedly used a whiteboard to keep track of children.

The American Civil Liberties Union, which represents families in one of the lawsuits, says about 5,500 children were separated at the border over the course of the Trump administration, according to the Journal.

Many of the lawsuits describe lasting psychological trauma for both parents and children.

''President Biden has agreed that the family separation policy is a historic moral stain on our nation that must be fully remedied,'' Lee Gelernt, deputy director of the ACLU's immigrant-rights project and a lead negotiator on one of the lawsuits, told the Journal. ''That remedy must include not only meaningful monetary compensation, but a pathway to remain in the country.''

As U.S. Customs and Border Protection prepares to release its final figures for the number of apprehensions at the U.S. border for fiscal 2021, the Biden Regime prepares to reimplement President Trump’s Remain in Mexico Policy, pursuant to a federal court order.

Meanwhile, at the border, Fox News has reported, 60,000 illegals prepare for a mass invasion that Biden likely won’t stop. And he probably couldn’t, short of using military force.

But what’s 60,000 more? Border Agents have already apprehended more than 1.5 million illegals, September’s numbers not included.

Fact is Biden is watching — aiding and abetting — an invasion.

Get in While the Getting’s Good

The illegals “intend to enter the U.S. in the coming days, knowing that the Biden administration intends to re-implement the Trump-era policy next month in response to a court order from a federal judge that was upheld by the Supreme Court,” Fox reported. They’re already crossing into La Joya, Texas.

Most are Central Americans — from Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador — and “included many unaccompanied minors and single mothers. One woman told Fox that the economy in her country was terrible and as a single mother she cannot afford to send her child to school.”

They had no reason not to keep coming. On Inauguration Day, Biden reversed President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. That policy required illegals to wait in Mexico while their asylum cases were processed. About 90 percent of asylum claims are bogus, as The New American reported when Trump announced what are formally known as the Migrant Protection Protocols in 2019.

And those bogus claims are one reason Trump created the MPP. Leaving a country to get a better job and free public education in the United States is not a valid asylum plea. And most “migrants” do indeed jump the border for a job

Remain in Mexico just about ended catch-and-release, the practice of apprehending illegals only to let them go so they can disappear, never to be seen again. At a roundtable this week, Fox reported, former CBP chief Mark Morgan said the policy reduced illegal “families” from entering the country by about 80 percent.

But the federal court order, again, means the Biden Regime must reimplement the policy. A regime court filing said the process should be complete by mid-November.

Thus, the 60,000-strong illegal-alien “caravan” has appeared at the border. The “migrants” want to get in while they can. They know Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas not only will let them in but also fly them into the heartland.

And it won’t matter how many are sick with the China Virus and other possibly deadly, communicable diseases. Biden wants new Democrat voters and is determined to get them.

Slow-walked MPP Reinstatement

Missouri’s attorney general says Biden is dragging his feet in reinstating Remain in Mexico.

“Missouri, who along with Texas, sued DHS over the ending of MPP, accused the administration of having ‘slow-walked’ compliance with the order,” Fox reported last week:

“In April, we sued the Biden Administration over their cancellation of the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy and won at the district court, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and at the United States Supreme Court, requiring the Biden Administration to reimplement the policy,” Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said in a statement. “Despite multiple courts ordering the Biden Administration to reimplement the policy, they have repeatedly slow-walked that reimplementation.”

That won’t make much difference to Biden. CBP has already apprehended more than 1.54 million illegals this year.

Though CBP hasn’t released September’s figure, sources told Fox the total for the fiscal year, which ended September 30, surpassed 1.7 million. If true, that means border agents apprehended another 200,000, as they did in August and July.

Nearly Half of the Taliban Government’s Leaders Are Designated Terrorists

BY ADAM KREDO

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Nearly half of the Taliban government's leaders are on the United Nations' terrorist blacklist, a fact that hasn’t slowed U.S. efforts to engage in diplomacy with the anti-western regime.

At least 14 of the 33 ministers the Taliban announced as senior leaders in its newly formed government are designated as terrorists under the U.N. Security Council's 1988 Sanctions Committee. This designation includes Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund and his two top deputies, Mullah Baradar Akhund and Mawlavi Hanafi.

The Taliban's defense minister, foreign minister, and deputy foreign minister also are designated terrorists. And Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Taliban's interior minister, remains on the FBI's most wanted list, with a $10 million bounty for his role in a 2008 terrorist attack in Kabul that killed six people, including an American citizen.

Even with these outstanding terror designations on the Taliban and its top leaders, the Biden administration and other Western countries are holding direct negotiations with the group that are aimed at providing war-torn Afghanistan with aid dollars. The United States held a series of talks with "senior Taliban representatives" during the weekend, meetings that the State Department described as "candid and professional." These powwows indicate the United States' willingness to legitimize the Taliban's rule since the terrorist group retook the country amid a hurried American withdrawal, according to national security experts.

"If past is precedent, Biden's team is more likely to reclassify whom they consider terrorists in order to justify their policy going forward," said Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon official who specialized in Middle Eastern affairs and terrorist organizations. "To recognize that they are empowering terrorism might force the hard sort of introspection in which no one from Biden on down is prepared to engage. It's the triumph of arrogance over rationality, and it's going to get Americans killed."

In addition to the Taliban senior leadership's designation as global terrorists, the organization also brought on four of the five individuals known as the "Taliban Five"—a group of former Guantanamo Bay prisoners who were freed as part of a prisoner swap orchestrated by the former Obama administration.

The Taliban's acting prime minister, Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, is one of the terror organization's longest-serving operatives and began conducting terrorist operations in the 1980s, according to information compiled by the Middle East Media Research Institute, a nonprofit group that tracks jihadi groups and their operations.

Akhund's first deputy, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, served as a frontline commander for the terror group from 1996 to 2001, when the Taliban was plotting attacks on U.S. citizens and outposts in the region.

Acting Afghanistan army chief Qari Fasihuddin led the Taliban's forces as they took over the country and exterminated the U.S.-backed and -armed Afghan National Army.

A number of other senior Taliban leaders who participate in the government also have battlefield experience and were senior figures in the group's terrorism enterprise, according to Middle East Media Research Institute.

Rubin, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a D.C.-based think tank, said the Taliban's selection of these terror-designated individuals is intentional and signals that the group has not reformed in any significant way—contrary to claims by the Biden administration.

"The group has an ideology and has stuck with it," Rubin said. "Special Envoy [Zalmay] Khalilzad and Ambassador Ross Wilson repeatedly reported that the Taliban had changed, but never provided any evidence to support their assertions. Wishful thinking is oxygen for both the State Department and White House, however, and the Biden administration never wanted to ask."

Americans had better brace themselves for an unprecedented increase in rape and other sexual assaults now that the Biden Regime has imported 50,000 Afghan “refugees.”

Cops in Missoula, Montana, have arrested an Afghan refugee in connection with the rape of a woman at a hotel. Biden immigration authorities “paroled” him into the country without screening.

It’s not the first disturbing report about the “allies” who supposedly helped the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan. And it won’t be the last if what happened in Austria after a flood of “refugees” arrived there proves anything.

The Rape

In the wee hours on October 17, KGVO Radio’s Nick Chrestenson reported, workers at Marriott’s Residence Inn in Missoula noticed a young woman leaving the hotel “visibly upset and crying.” She is 18 years old.

“Shortly after the female exited the lobby, a male, later identified as 19-year-old Zabihullah Mohmand, followed the female outside and engaged in what the employee thought was a verbal disturbance,” Chrestenson reported.

Cops received two 911 calls; one from the woman, one from the hotel who witnessed the argument.

“Officers were able to connect the victim with the resources in Missoula to aid the victim with immediate medical assistance, conduct a preliminary investigation, and take a preliminary statement from the victim,” a spokesman told Chrestenson:

According to court documents, the female victim called 911 at around 4:30 a.m. and reported that she had just been raped. She said that Mohmand is on a worldwide trip from Afghanistan and that she had just met him at the Badlander.

The victim said Mohmand asked her to go back to his hotel room, and she agreed. When they arrived at the room, the victim said she told Mohmand that she did not want anything to happen.

Zabihullah Mohmand/Missoula Jail

Governor Greg Gianforte confirmed that Mohmand is one of Biden’s recently imported refugees, KBUL’s Aaaron Flint reported.

“While I welcome our fully-vetted Afghan allies to Montana, this situation and others across the country raise serious concerns about whether the Biden administration is meeting its obligations to fully vet Afghans prior to resettlement,” Gianforte said.

Unlike Gianforte, most Montanans probably don’t want Afghans resettled in their mostly rape-free communities, but that insignificant fact aside, he asked Biden to stop the resettlements until the Afghans are vetted.

Senator Steve Daines and Representative Matt Rosendale agree. Biden, Daines said, has “failed to provide answers as to who has come into the country or if they have been fully vetted according to what’s required by law.” Rosendale said the suspect was not vetted through the expected process of up to two years. Biden simply turned him loose.

Unlike Daines and Gianforte, Rosendale doesn’t want Afghans in Montana:

For months I have warned of the consequences of admitting and resettling unvetted Afghan nationals throughout our country. These unvetted Afghans do not share our culture and our values, and as this horrific incident shows they represent a serious risk to our communities.… I urge the Biden Administration to immediately halt the resettlement of Afghan nationals across our nation and begin to remove Afghan evacuees that have been resettled from the United States.

Afghan Rape Wave

Rosendale is right to be concerned. When Afghan “refugees” flooded Austria, a major rape wave began.

Writing for The National Interest, Cheryl Bernard detailed the “vicious, no-preamble attacks on random girls and women, often committed by gangs or packs of young men.” And most of them “were being committed by refugees of one particular nationality: by Afghans.”

Afghans “were committing sex crimes to a much greater extent than other refugees,” including “the brutal gang rape of a fifteen-year-old girl, snatched from the street on her way home, dragged away and serially abused by Afghan refugees.”

“And that was just one in a string of outrage-inducing occurrences, all of them going to the account of Afghans,” Bernard continued:

Type two words into Google — Afghane and Vergewaltigung — and a cornucopia of appalling incidents unfolds before you. The mentally retarded woman in Linz, kidnapped, dragged to an Afghan refugee’s apartment and raped until she was finally able to escape into his bathroom, lock herself in and, as he battered at the door, crank open the window and scream for help. Incidents like that one point to a cold-blooded predator, with planning and premeditation.

The Afghans “are motivated by a deep and abiding contempt for Western civilization,” she wrote. “Europeans are the enemy, and their women are legitimate spoils.”

Despite what Biden and the Republicans who invited Afghans to live in their neighborhoods say, Americans have no reason to believe their experience will be different from Austria’s.

Federal prosecutors have charged two Afghans who were at Fort McCoy with child molestation and wife beating. Such is the domestic violence there that authorities have dispatched “gender and protection” advisors to stop it.

Biden plans to import about 100,000 Afghans at a cost of $67,000 each.

Such is the wife-beating and other domestic violence among Afghans at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin that the military has deployed “gender and protection” advisors.

Military officials receive calls every day, the newspaper reported, about incorrigible Afghan men. Apparently, they have nothing better to do than beat and harass women and molest kids.

Weeks ago, federal prosecutors charged an Afghan man with strangling his wife and another with molesting two boys.

But those, apparently, are just two examples. More will be uncovered.

Not a Safe Place

Thus, the gender advisors, created by a law in 2018.

“Such harassment and sexual abuse would be handled by these gender advisors, the military said, with personnel getting victims to safe places and coordinating with law enforcement,” the newspaper reported.

The military’s headmistress of gender advisors in the Indo-Pacific, Sharon Feist, told the newspaper that Afghan refugees, who number 13,000, present one problem after another, not least domestic violence:

“Everyday there’s calls for domestic violence, mediation, trying to get victims to a safe place, coordination with law enforcement such as the FBI, the military police, and other agencies, child abuse, nutrition, and marriage,” Feist said.

Problems with abuse also impacts preparing the Afghans for the impending winter, said the military, where household tensions and domestic violence could worsen.

“We’re trying to prepare to help mitigate that by finding more recreational spaces that are warm, and not just for women to go into but men, too,” Feist said.

In September, the State Journal reported that Afghan women stuck at the base are terrified.

“They said they feared a negative reaction from some Afghan men housed at the base, many of them former members of the U.S.-trained Afghan National Army who have caused problems, such as harassing women and skipping people in the food lines,” the newspaper reported:

[One] woman complained of harassment from male refugees about her clothes and body.

“I’m ashamed that I’m complaining about my own Afghan people,” she said, adding that discipline of the men by U.S. personnel is uneven. “They don’t know how to behave with women.… We are afraid of them.”

If Afghan men are on the rampage in Wisconsin, they’re likely on the rampage elsewhere. In late September, a gang of Aghan men attacked a military servicewoman at Fort Bliss.

The Biden Regime has imported more than 50,000 Afghans since it ended the war. Though Biden has distributed them throughout the country, many are housed at military bases such as Fort McCoy. They include Fort Bliss in Texas, Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, and three military bases in Virginia, including the Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia.

The regime expects to settle nearly 100,000 Afghans in the next year. Price tag: $6.4 billion. Top Republicans invited the Afghans to live in their neighborhoods.

Afghans Charged

In September, federal prosecutors charged one of the Afghans, Bahrullah Noori, 20, with sex crimes against two boys. One was 12, the other, 14. The New York Post reported that he “touched the genitalia of one of his victims on three separate occasions,” and that “one of the alleged assaults occurred in a barrack, while the other two took place in a bathroom.”

He faces 30 years in prison.

The other Afghan “refugee” who will “culturally enrich” Americans is Mohammad Haroon Imaad, 32. He assaulted and strangled his wife, prosecutors allege.

“Imaad’s wife alleged that her husband had raped her in addition to abusing her verbally and physically,” the Post reported:

At one point, she claimed, he had threatened to “send her back to Afghanistan where the Taliban could deal with her” and also told her “that nine women have been killed since getting to Fort McCoy and that she would be the tenth.”

The Biden administration is secretly flying underage migrants from Texas to suburban New York in an effort to resettle them in the region, The New York Post reported Monday.

The charter flights, emanating from a southern border overwhelmed by migrants, have been arriving in the New York area since at least August, according the Post, citing sources familiar with the situation.

Post employees last week saw two planes land at the Westchester County Airport, where the flights arrived at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday and 9:52 p.m. Friday.

Most of the passengers who exited the planes — with Westchester County police nearby — appeared to be children and teens. A small portion appeared to be men in their 20s.

Some of the passengers eventually were seen meeting up with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey, or being dropped off at a residential facility on Long Island, the Post said.

The underage migrants typically arrive carrying backpacks and are bused to locations including The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, upstate Newburgh, and Bridgeport and Danbury in Connecticut, a Post source said.

The newspaper said that about 2,000 migrants had arrived at the airport outside White Plains, New York, on 21 flights since Aug. 8, based on online flight-tracking data.

Some of the planes landed between midnight and 6:30 a.m. local time — when a voluntary curfew is in effect, records showed.

The Post also saw a similar scene play out in Jacksonville, Florida, where many of the flights from Texas have landed before continuing on to Westchester.

A group of between 10 and 15 people wearing matching white baseball caps and carrying duffel bags exited the plane and got on a charter bus near a dormant cargo terminal.

The group was bused to a juvenile detention center in the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee, Florida, the Post said.

Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, through a spokesperson, expressed outrage at the Post’s findings.

"If the Biden Administration is so confident that their open-border policy is good for our country, why the secrecy?" DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw said. "Why is the Biden Administration refusing to share even the most basic information about illegal alien resettlement in communities throughout our state and the entire country?

"Washington D.C., sets immigration policies that do not affect them, and states — that lack information about migrant resettlement and do not have the authority to change federal immigration policy — are expected to bear the brunt of Biden’s reckless open-borders agenda."

Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, a Republican candidate for governor, told the Post he learned about the flights from citizens upset by violations of the voluntary curfew.

"The Biden administration is systematically spreading the southern border crisis to communities all around the country, often shrouded in secrecy and under the cloak of darkness," Astorino told the Post.

Understanding the Threat: What is the Islamic State Khorasan (IS-K) & Why it Matters

The West—and especially the U.S.—needs to focus immediately and intently on that threat because they will come for us again.

As the United States (U.S.) fled the Afghan battlefield in late August 2021, a scene of utter chaos developed at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, where thousands were trying to get on a flight out of the country. The U.S. military had already snuck out of Bagram Air Force Base in the middle of the night, 5 July 2021, without even telling the new Afghan commander – and leaving behind over $80 billion worth of advanced U.S. military equipment. That left Kabul Airport as the only way out of the country, especially after Kabul itself fell to the Taliban on 15 August 2021.

Most American military having already departed Afghanistan, on 26 August, only a small contingent was present at the airport to check evacuees’ passports and visas. Multiple security warnings about possible jihad terror attacks had come in over previous days and even hours, but nevertheless, a suicide bomber managed to infiltrate among the crowd pressing at the Abbey Gate. At least 182 people were killed, including 13 U.S. service members and at least 169 Afghan civilians. The Islamic State-Khorasan Province (IS-KP) claimed responsibility for the attack.

The attack focused renewed attention on IS-KP, which had carried out dozens of previous terror attacks in Afghanistan but not received the volume of media attention that its parent organization, the Islamic State, had gotten in the Middle East. The last major news coverage of IS-KP came in April 2017, when President Donald Trump ordered a “MOAB” (Mother of All Bombs) attack against an IS-KP tunnel complex in  Nangarhar Province close to the Afghanistan/Pakistan border.

So, what is the Islamic State-Khorasan Province, how did it get to Afghanistan, and what is it doing there?

IS-KP refers to the Islamic State’s main foothold in Central Asia, located in Nangarhar Province, a southeastern area of Afghanistan, close to the Pakistani border. It was established there in January 2015 as the original Islamic State in Iraq, and al-Sham (ISIS) changed its name to simply “Islamic State” to reflect the global spread of its presence. Core IS sent a number of fighters and also some funding to help IS-KP get started. Among its members are some disaffected Taliban (with which it maintains a turbulent relationship), Pakistanis, and others from various countries around the world, including Bangladesh, India, and Myanmar. IS-KP maintains close ties to the Haqqani network in Afghanistan, which itself has been closely affiliated with the Taliban since pre-9/11. Afghanistan has long been a top destination for jihadis from many countries and likely will be even more so now that the Taliban has taken over.

In terms of Islamic ideology, there’s really no daylight among Al-Qa’eda, IS-KP, and the Taliban. They are all extremely devout, faithful, practicing Muslims whose stated goal is to establish the wilayat (province) of Khorasan as a part of a global Islamic State, in obedience to Islamic doctrine, law, and scripture. The name “Khorasan” comes from the name of the easternmost province of the ancient Persian Sassanid Empire. The word in Farsi means the “place where the sun rises.” The geographic extent of the Persian Khorasan Province stretched from the eastern part of modern-day Iran, across today’s border with Afghanistan, and far into areas occupied today by Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and even China. By naming this group after that ancient Persian province, IS-KP indicates its own ambitions eventually to control a similar geographic expanse under the rule of Islamic Law.

Much has been made of supposed hostility between the Taliban and IS-K, but although there are regular squabbles, often involving leadership disagreements, turf wars, and funding streams from illicit activities like narcotics trafficking, family, tribal, and ideological ties make them far more likely to collaborate than not. Like Islamic jihad groups the world over, AQ, the Haqqani network, IS-K, and the Taliban all share a rock-solid core fidelity to Islamic doctrine, law, and scripture. More worldly connections include cooperation among all these groups in the opium trade, whose international transit routes crisscross Nangarhar, where IS-KP is headquartered. The Haqqani network, a family clan enterprise that remains close to Al-Qa’eda and the Taliban, is headed by Sirajuddin Haqqani. He is the Taliban’s second-in-command, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Treasury Department, and currently serves in the Taliban government as the Afghan Minister of the Interior. IS-K cooperates not only with the Haqqanis but also with Pakistani jihad groups, including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which operate from Pakistani territory. To complicate these connections even further, we’ll recall that the Afghan Taliban itself was founded and remains armed, funded, and supported by Pakistani intelligence, the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) agency. The Haqqani network likewise is closely supported by ISI.

All of this is not to confuse, but rather to demonstrate that the shifting names of these jihad groups, their leadership, alliances, and even geographical presence are far less important than understanding that throughout nearly 1400 years of Islamic history, it has ever been the same. The details described here about the Islamic State-Khorasan inform us about a current and developing threat inside Afghanistan rapidly returning to its pre-9/11 terror haven status. The West—and especially the U.S.—needs to focus immediately and intently on that threat because they will come for us again.

12,000 Afghans Now in the U.S. and Nobody Knows Who They Are

First, there was the multifaceted disaster of the way Biden’s handlers’ woke military mishandled the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Now another Biden catastrophe is in the offing, but Team Biden is working hard to cover it up. “You know what they’re hiding?” asked Jonathan Wilcox, a spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA). “The latest Afghanistan disaster from the Biden administration. The White House is turning the page and closing the door.” Wilcox said this after a bipartisan delegation from the House, including some members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was denied admission to Camp As Sayliyah, a U.S.-run military facility in Qatar where over two thousand America-bound Afghan evacuees are currently being housed. The reason why became clear in the briefing the lawmakers received before they were turned away.

What are they hiding now? We can’t be sure, but it is reasonable to conclude that if everything were working like clockwork at Camp As Sayliyah, with the cheerful efficiency for which the Biden people have become renowned (yes, kids, I’m being sarcastic), then there would have been no problem with letting the lawmakers in to behold the glory of The Adults being back in charge.

Instead, Issa said that officials of Biden’s woke military “never let us meet with the 2,300 remaining America-bound refugees, maybe some of whom are American citizens and others who are green card holders.” Issa had his own theory about why Biden’s handlers are taking a page out of the Nixon playbook and stonewalling it on this one: “We think the number one classified piece that they were protecting is called embarrassment. Many of these people have stories of the difficulty getting out, the lack of cooperation or help by the State Department, and now they find themselves being artificially held longer in some cases. We think it’s just that they don’t want people telling their stories.”

That could be it. Issa’s staff, according to the Washington Free Beacon, “spent weeks petitioning the Department of Defense for access to these Afghan refugees on behalf of the delegation,” but it was still no dice Thursday when they arrived at Doha’s Al Udeid Air Base “for a scheduled briefing on the American evacuation effort.”

The briefing, said Issa, was “shocking to a lot of members.” How shocking? For one thing, the lawmakers were told that fully 12,000 of the Afghans who had come to Camp As Sayliyah and then went on to the U.S. had no identification at all. Visas? Come on, man! Issa stated: “They came with nothing. No Afghan I.D., no I.D. of any sort. Those people were all forwarded on to the U.S., and that’s quite an admission. So many people had no I.D. whatsoever and yet find themselves in the United States today based on what they said.”

As terrible as this is, it is in line with what we already knew. Back on September 1, according to Politico, “a State Department official said in a private briefing to reporters that ‘the majority’ of special immigrant visa applicants were left in Afghanistan due in part to the complications of the evacuation, and that he and his team are ‘haunted’ by the evacuees the U.S. could not get out by the Aug. 31 deadline.”

Related: As Trump Warns of Terrorism From Afghan Refugees, Some in GOP Look for Ways to Welcome Them

That is, the vast majority: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on September 21, according to The Hill, that “of the 60,000 Afghans who have entered the U.S., nearly 8,000 are either U.S. citizens or residents, while about 1,800 are SIV holders, having obtained visas after assisting the U.S. military.” That left around 50,200 Afghan refugees for whom we had no certain identification and no assurance whatsoever that they weren’t jihad terrorists. We didn’t know anything about them at all, and still don’t.

After admitting something as potentially catastrophic as the fact that it brought evacuees from a jihadi hotspot with no identification whatsoever into the United States, it was no real surprise that despite the fact that Camp As Sayliyah is less than an hour away from Al Udeid, the assembled solons still refused to proceed with their trip as planned.

What’s more, “Issa and lawmakers from both parties have largely been stymied in their efforts to investigate the botched U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan.” Issa said that the fact that his delegation was left hanging in Doha was, according to the Free Beacon, just “part of a larger effort by the Biden administration to keep the American public in the dark about exactly what unfolded in the war-torn country.” Noted Issa: “They’re pretty straightforward in denying members of both parties the legitimate oversight opportunities. We gave them several weeks advance notice.”

No amount of advance notice will enable Biden’s handlers to cover up all the disasters they have created. And with 12,000 completely anonymous Afghans in the country now, the possibilities have dramatically increased that future revelations of missteps by the Biden Team could be positively explosive.

Biden’s handlers lift sanctions on two Iranian ‘key producers of military-grade goods for Iran’s missile programs’

But it wasn’t a political decision, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the nuclear talks! Was someone paid off to do this? We’ll never know, because those who have the responsibility to investigate such questions are just as corrupt, if not more so, as those they would be investigating. And anyway, what could possibly go wrong? It’s a religion of peace!

“Intel: US lifts Iran-related sanctions, says no connection to nuclear deal,” by Elizabeth Hagedorn, Al-Monitor, October 8, 2021:

The US Treasury Department delisted Iran-based entities on Friday that were sanctioned by the Trump administration for their alleged involvement in Iran’s ballistic missile program.

The department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) determined Mammut Industrial Group and its subsidiary, Mammut Diesel, are no longer blocked under Executive Order 13382, which targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction and their supporters. The two entities were removed from OFAC’s list of Specially Designated Nationals.

The Trump administration sanctioned Mammut Industrial Group and Mammut Diesel in September 2020, accusing them of being “key producers and suppliers of military-grade, dual-use goods for Iran’s missile programs.”

A spokesperson for the Treasury Department speaking on the condition of anonymity declined to say whether there was a change in behavior from Mammut Industrial Group and Mammut Diesel. The spokesperson stressed, however, there was no connection between Friday’s action and the Biden administration’s efforts to bring Iran back to the bargaining table in Vienna.

“These delistings do not reflect any change in US government sanctions policy towards Iran. They have nothing to do with JCPOA negotiation efforts,” the spokesperson said, using the acronym for the 2015 nuclear accord. “The United States will continue to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities, including through implementation of our sanctions.”

Why it matters: Mammut Industries was designated by the Trump administration for supporting the production of ballistic missile equipment for Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization, specifically Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group, which the Treasury described as “Iran’s primary developer of liquid propelled missiles.”…

Afghan Refugees Were Placed in a Popular Vacation Hotel. Here’s What Happened.

Multiculturalism is meeting reality once again as Afghan refugees are making their presence known in the countries that welcomed them, and the fun is just beginning. One place that has experienced the richness and vibrance of diversity is Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, which is a popular vacation spot. It’s easy to see why: It’s on the Yorkshire Coast in a beautiful area, and when its architecturally stunning Grand Hotel was built in 1867, it was the largest hotel in Europe. The hotel still boasts numerous attractions. It is described on Tripadvisor as “one of the town’s landmark features and instantly recognisable on the skyline,” taking “pride of place overlooking the town’s harbour and South Bay.” The description continues: “Our location is ideal in Scarborough from which to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, promenade walks and all that Scarborough has to offer, all within a short stroll away. LIVE entertainment is available every night with our dazzling cabaret shows featuring professional dancers and entertainers dressed in stunning costumes.” A newer feature of the hotel, however, 200 Afghan evacuees, has quickly changed perceptions of the hotel. The staff, when confronted with complaints, called the complainers “racist.” But that’s an all-purpose objection nowadays, so frequently employed as to be emptied of all meaning. It’s clear that hotel guests at the Grand Hotel had plenty to complain about.

One of the hotel’s recent guests wrote:

Stayed in the hotel while working away contracting in East Yorkshire

I caught scabies and can only presume it was from this filthy hell hole

Also caught a man deficating [sic] into a carrier bag !

What the hell is going on in this hotel.

I would not stay ever again!!

What a shame that the government would do this to a seaside town

Disgrace

As revolting as it is, that bit about the carrier bag shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Wall Street Journal recently noted that new Afghan arrivals at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin were “confused and upset by hygiene practices. Every toilet on base was Western style, with a seat and toilet paper. But a number of Afghans are accustomed to restrooms that allow them to squat so they don’t have to physically touch the toilet. It led to some cases of Afghans relieving themselves outside.” And into carrier bags at the Grand Hotel Scarborough.

Another Grand Hotel guest had no better experiences to report:

Decided to treat my partner and myself to a 3day break as my partner is disabled and been through the mill lately. We were told check in was after 4pm. We got there at 6.30pm expecting this to be a quick and easy process. Not to be! The queue was long, after about 15mins I decided to get my partner a drink from the bar. No cider! I returned to the queue and waited. After approx an hour I’d checked in and up to the room we went. On the way I realised there were a lot of people just stood about while hundreds (or seemed like) of children raced around screaming and shouting, after plenty of “excuse me” etc we found the room. After squeezing past folk in we went. P**s up the walls and no quilt on the bed and these said children running in and out of the room! We decided we didn’t want to stay there and headed back downstairs (same carry on as going up!) I overheard people talking angrily about the kids and people just stood about, they were refugees and more buses were just parking up. I didn’t have a problem with this, I just felt we should have been made aware that the hotel would be this ‘hectic’ then we could decide if the noise would be a problem for us. I spoke to the man on the desk and asked for a refund and explained why.. He then started shouting at me calling me a racist! I am no racist I booked the break when the school holidays had ended so it would be quieter! He flatly refused me a refund so we left. We went on to pay £150 to get a room for 1 night then left and went home a day early as we were both worn out. As I was at the desk getting insulted at least 3others were demanding a refund for the same reasons! The next day the Grand Hotel were trying to get more money off my credit card! God knows what for!Glad I took pictures!! I’ve sent an email. Awaiting response.. Still! Never stay there!!

The “racist” ploy is tireder than the “journalists” covering for Old Joe Biden, but apparently it keeps working. Now it’s the all-purpose excuse even for abominable hotel service. A third review, however, gave the impression that the arrival of the refugees had stretched the staff to the breaking point:

We have just come back from the grand hotel Scarborough it is one of the worst hotels I have ever been in the lock on door was very lose so we didn’t feel safe . The bathroom was very dirty and we had to buy bleach to clean it the Windows were very dirty, there was only one lift working so there was always a queue there was thick dust under the beds we ask for toilet roll as we didn’t have any in our room and the room was not cleaned the hole week we were there the bins were not emptied. There were a lot of Afghanistan in the hotel as well we paid 800 pounds for this room we thought we were getting a twin room but in fact it was a single room with a another bed pushed in skills must. have know about this very disappointed

Inundated with bad reviews, Tripadvisor added a note to the Grand Hotel’s page: “Due to a recent event that has attracted media attention and has caused an influx of review submissions that do not describe a first-hand experience, we have temporarily suspended publishing new reviews for this listing.” That’s one way to solve the problem. And it’s a great deal easier than confronting the false assumptions and foolish, short-sighted policies that led to the mess at the Grand Hotel in the first place.
