Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill tripling the state’s border security spending for 2021 and 2022 and bringing it to a record high.

On Friday, Abbott signed House Bill 9, which will spend $1.88 billion on border security over the next two years. This comes on top of another $1.05 billion signed earlier this year — itself over $200 million more than the previous budget — bringing Texas’s total border-security spending to nearly $3 billion.

This represents a significant increase from previous years. In Texas’s 2008-09 budget, only $110 million was allocated to border security, and funding never surpassed $800 million.

Among H.B. 9’s other allocations, it devotes $750 million to construct additional border barrier — in addition to $250 million that Abbott allocated in June and the $54 million that the governor raised through crowdfunding. The bill also allocates over $450 million to increase the deployment numbers of Texas National Guard and other law-enforcement personal at the border. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice will also receive funds to help detain illegal migrants.

Speaking at the bill’s signing ceremony, Governor Abbott stated, “This funding will provide our agency partners with even more support to address the influx of unlawful migrants and prevent dangerous people and contraband from entering our state.”

Abbott went on to note, “It is the federal government’s job to secure our border, but the Biden administration has failed to do its job, so Texas is stepping up to do what the federal government is supposed to do.” He blamed “the Biden administration’s open border policies” for the need for such legislation, as they “opened the floodgates to illegal immigration, to crime, to human trafficking, to drug smuggling.”

Texas Taking on Federal Government’s Role

Since the Biden administration began in January, Texas has been slowly, but steadily, taking over the federal government’s abdicated duty of securing the southern border. According to the left-wing Migration Policy Institute, the state is currently “challenging federal immigration policy on more fronts at one time than ever before.”

Among other recent policy shifts, Abbott authorized Texas National Guard troops to enforce Texas law, something that includes arresting illegal migrants who break state law. Additionally, under a new state law that went into effect on September 1, it is easier for state officials to prosecute human smugglers.

Nonetheless, there is much more that Texas can do to secure the southern border. Abbott would be wise to nullify the various unconstitutional court-imposed restrictions on states’ ability to enforce immigration law. Article VI of the Constitution, which states that only laws “made in pursuance” of the Constitution are valid, provides a solid legal basis for such actions.

Border Surge Continues

Abbott’s signing of H.B. 9 couldn’t come at a more relevant time. The United States is currently grappling with the influx of 15,000 Haitian migrants at Del Rio, Texas, a crisis caused by the Biden administration’s extreme open-borders policies. Not only will the Department of Homeland Security release many of these migrants into the United States, but the federal government’s weak response is likely to encourage another 20,000 Haitians to enter illegally.

Meanwhile, border apprehensions remain at record levels, with over 200,000 migrant apprehensions in August. Many of these migrants are also being released into the country, a practice that Biden revived shortly after taking office.

On the refugee front, the Biden administration has already admitted more than 48,000 Afghans into the United States, with plans to admit tens of thousands more. Many of these migrants are unvetted and pose health and national-security risks. None of this has deterred Biden, who plans to admit 10 times as many refugees in Fiscal Year 2022 as have been admitted this year.

Not only do many of Biden’s actions violate federal law, but Article IV, Section 4, of the Constitution requires the federal government to “protect each [state] against Invasion.” As both The John Birch Society and other organizations have pointed out, the current and planned illegal migration surge clearly meets the definition of an invasion.

It is encouraging to see Texas and other states begin to stand up to the Biden administration’s subversive mass-migration agenda. However, they would be wise to take even stronger actions to secure the border and enforce the Constitution.

Articles of Impeachment Against Biden Introduced by Four House Republicans

New articles of impeachment against the perpetually embattled Joe Biden were introduced on Tuesday by Ohio Republican Bob Gibbs over Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the border crisis, and his efforts to continue the federal eviction moratorium despite warnings from the Supreme Court.

“I take this seriously. I don’t think it’s haphazard. I’m not trying to get media attention for myself,” Gibbs told the Washington Examiner. “He’s done so much damage to this country in less than nine months, which is really scary.”

“He’s not capable of being commander in chief, and that’s obvious by the actions since Day One when he took the presidency back in January,” he added. “Maybe something like this makes the White House think twice before they do some of this nonsense.”

Gibbs’ articles of impeachment has three other sponsors: Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) and Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas). There have been other articles of impeachment introduced in the House, and they, like this new one, will go nowhere so long as Democrats have control of the House—which Gibbs acknowledges.

“Obviously, it’s not going to go anywhere with Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi,” Gibbs conceded. But “it shows that there are some Republicans that think that this president needs to be impeached, he needs to be removed from office one way or another.”

“At some point, they’re gonna be held accountable for their actions, and this is kind of putting them on notice,” he added.

So far, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has refused to support efforts to impeach Joe Biden.

“Look, I’m extremely frustrated with the president. As I said, if you want to be president of the free world, you have to have the trust, faith, and confidence of the American public. President Biden lost that yesterday,” McCarthy said, following the terror attack in Kabul that killed 13 U.S. service members. He said eventually “there will be a day of reckoning.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has taken "unprecedented" measures to deter thousands of migrants from crossing into the state by parking Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety vehicles along the U.S.-Mexico border near the Del Rio International Bridge.

"We put hundreds of Texas Department of Public Safety cars and created a steel wall — a steel wall of DPS vehicles — that prevented anybody from crossing that dam that you’ve seen people walk across," Abbott told Fox News Tuesday. "We effectively ... regained control of the border."

Thousands of migrants are living in makeshift huts and sleeping in the dirt under the bridge, waiting for their turn to be processed by U.S. immigration authorities. Abbott has blamed President Joe Biden for the situation, saying the federal government is not doing enough to secure the country's southern border. 

"When you have an administration that is not enforcing the law in this country; when you have an administration that has abandoned any pretense of securing the border and securing our sovereignty, you see the onrush of people like what we saw walking across this dam that is right behind me," Abbott said at a news conference in Val Verde County.

Government officials started parking their cars along the border last week. 

"The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area. They have built a barricade with their squad cars and State Troopers. The National Guard is working with them to secure the border," Abbott tweeted.

He added in a statement that "one day there were countless people coming across the border, then the DPS put up all these vehicles, and suddenly, in an instant, people stopped crossing the border in this location. That strategy is working."

Texas will spend an additional $2 billion on security for the border.

"It has been the state of Texas that has had to step up," Abbott said. "Failure to enforce laws that exist in the United States leads to chaos and chaos leads to inhumanity."

More frightening is the chance that the Afghans will unleash an epidemic of diseases once thought all but wiped out.

In an “Emergency Preparedness and Response” release published on Monday, the Centers for Disease Control warned that doctors must prepare for a wave of mumps, measles, leishmaniasis, and worse still, polio. Already, 20 people arriving from Afghanistan have been diagnosed with mumps or measles.

Coming soon to a school or restaurant near you: a possibly fatal, infectious disease that blows up into a contagion. 

Measles and Polio

CDC “recommends that clinicians be on alert for cases of measles that meet the case definition, as well as other infectious diseases, including mumps, leishmaniasis, and malaria, among evacuees (including both Afghan nationals and U.S. citizens) from Afghanistan,” the bulletin says.

Measles is a main concern:

Measles is an extremely contagious infectious disease; around 9 out of 10 people who are close contacts and who are not protected will become infected following exposure to measles virus. As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified of 16 confirmed cases of measles and 4 cases of mumps among Afghan nationals and U.S. citizens, recently arriving from Afghanistan 

Noting that the United States has evacuated 124,000 people from Afghanistan, including 6,000 American citizens, CDC reported that the measles carriers were quarantined if they hadn’t left the military bases where they went first. But frighteningly, “some evacuees left bases before measles cases were identified and a mass vaccination campaign began,” CDC continued:

CDC expects the possibility of additional measles infections and spread among evacuees, based on ongoing transmission and low vaccine coverage (approximately 60%) in Afghanistan, and close living quarters during the process of evacuating people to the United States.

The Afghans will also bring in contagious “gastrointestinal infections, including shigellosis, giardiasis, cryptosporidiosis, hepatitis A, rotavirus, and viral diarrheal diseases,” and “CDC is also aware of some cases of varicella, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, hepatitis A, and COVID-19 among evacuees.”

Ten days ago, NBCWashington reported that three Afghans in Northern Virginia had measles.

Aside from the measles and other diseases, CDC is concerned about leishmaniasis, a parasitic disease “characterized by lesions on the skin that can change in size and appearance over time.”

Also riding in with the Afghans will be malaria, a parasitic disease spread by the Anopheles mosquito. Though “eliminated from the United States in the early 1950s,” CDC said, “travelers continue to bring malaria into the country, and numbers of cases have risen since the 1970s to about 2,000 cases per year. The last confirmed outbreak of locally transmitted malaria in the United States was in 2003.”

The news on polio is particularly troubling. In Afghanistan, the “wild poliovirus remains endemic.” Polio can lead to paralysis and is sometimes fatal.

Disease at the Border

Given the CDC report on the Afghans, Americans have no reason to believe those diseases aren’t crossing the border with Mexico.

Border agents, as The New American reported last week, apprehended more than 200,000 illegals in August. Agents caught more than 200,000 in July as well.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki has twice confessed that the Biden Regime is not asking “migrants” who cross the border for proof of vaccination against the China Virus.

Yesterday, Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked her whether someone is “asking the foreign nationals who are walking into Del Rio, Texas, and setting up camps on this side of the border for ‘proof of vaccination’ or a negative COVID test?”

“That is the policy for someone who flies into the country,” he continued. “So, if somebody walks into the country across the river, does somebody ask to see their vaccination card?”

Replied Psaki:

When individuals cross our border, they are both assessed for if they have any symptoms…. They’re not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. It’s not the same thing.

Last week, he asked a similar question after Biden mandated vaccines at businesses of more than 100 employees.

“Vaccines are required for people at a business with more than 100 people,” Doocy asked. “It is not a requirement for migrants at the border. Why?”

“That’s correct,” Psaki replied.

Yet like the Afghans, the “migrants” who cross the border could bring in many other communicable diseases.

 

No Room in Joe Biden’s America for Persecuted Christian Refugees

The Biden administration announced that beginning with the new fiscal year on October 1, the U.S. will raise its refugee admissions to 125,000.

It’s a goal that the Biden administration had established as far back as April, as the president seeks to overturn another Trump-era immigration policy. But is Biden reversing the policy because it was Trump’s?

The plight of refugees around the world has gotten worse over the past year. Their numbers have increased due largely to war and man-made famines. Coupled with the pandemic, the wisdom of allowing so many unvaccinated people into the United States needs to be questioned.

In FY 2021, the U.S. admitted a record low of 15,000 refugees because of the pandemic. When Biden took office, he immediately raised that number to more than 60,000. Now he’s more than doubled it in 2022.

In setting the target, the administration said it would focus on several key groups, including Central Americans, Afghans at risk due to their affiliation with the United States, LGBQT refugees and members of the predominantly Muslim Uighur ethnic group who are the targets of Chinese government campaign to eradicate their culture.

But not Christians in the Middle East. There used to be more than 1.5 million Christians in Iraq at the turn of the century. Now, just several hundred thousand remain — victims of religious oppression. By any yardstick, Christians in the Middle East are the victims of genocide.

Syrian, Egyptian, and Iranian Christians have also been targets of systematic persecution. But there’s no room in Joe Biden’s America for them.

“I applaud the Biden Administration for setting a target of 125,000 refugee admissions in the next fiscal year—a target my colleagues and I have been advocating for since April,” said Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill. “And while I’m disappointed in the projected number of refugees to be admitted this fiscal year, I acknowledge the challenges the Biden Administration inherited with the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program due to the anti-immigrant actions of the previous Administration.”

Who are the lucky 125,000 who will be allowed into the U.S? According to the Washington Post, several groups will receive consideration.

According to a report released Monday by the State Department in conjunction with the Departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services, the cap for fiscal 2022 is expected to include 40,000 refugees from Africa, 35,000 from the Near East/South Asia, 15,000 from East Asia, 15,000 from Latin America/the Caribbean, and 10,000 from Europe/Central Asia.

An additional 10,000 belong to an unallocated reserve, according to the report.

The report says there will be “increased resettlement of LGBTQI+ refugees; priority access for at-risk Uyghurs, Hong Kong refugees, and Burmese dissidents; and resettlement of Burmese Rohingya.”

All those groups are deserving of American protection. But the question lingers: Why aren’t Christians residing in Muslim lands deserving of the same protection? Why does the U.S. have trouble even recognizing their persecution?

Muslims are very touchy about accusations of persecuting Christians. By their lights, they are very tolerant of other religions.

Indeed, “official” persecution is nearly unheard of. The church burnings, the murder of priests and clergy — these crimes are committed by local fanatics and tolerated by the Muslim majority. The persecution comes when authorities turn a blind eye to the violence — or subtly encourage it. This allows governments to claim they allow religious freedom while perpetrating a genocide.

The Vatican is very vocal about the persecution of people for their religious faith but is always careful to include Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists in their pleas for tolerance. The seat of Christianity can’t be bothered protecting their own brothers and sisters in Christ.

Former Biden Border Chief Makes Bombshell Accusations Against Administration

After less than a year-and-a-half in the top spot, the chief of the U.S. Border Patrol has been ousted by the Biden Administration. Rodney Scott, who once oversaw the San Diego sector for Border Patrol, had been appointed to lead the agency by President Donald Trump and was a strong supporter of his immigration policies. Rodney Scott's career with Border Patrol began at the Imperial Beach station back in 1992. He worked his way up to head the San Diego sector before taking over the entire agency in February of last year. Scott has been an ardent supporter of Trump's border policies, especially his plans for constructing a wall.

Rodney S. Scott, the recently retired U.S. Border Patrol chief, made some stunning revelations in a letter to Democrat and Republican leaders in the Senate and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Accord to Scott’s letter, which was obtained by JusttheNews.com, career experts have made many recommendations to slow the border crisis but have been repeatedly rebuffed by the Biden administration.

“Common sense border security recommendations from experienced career professionals are being ignored and stymied by inexperienced political appointees,” Scott wrote in his letter earlier this month. “The Biden administration’s team at DHS is laser-focused on expediting the flow of migrants into the U.S. and downplaying the significant vulnerability this creates for terrorists, narcotics smugglers, human traffickers, and even hostile nations to gain access to our homeland.”

Scott, a 29-year career law enforcement officer, was originally appointed by President Trump. He retired last month.

“In my professional assessment, the  U.S. Border Patrol is rapidly losing the situational awareness required to know who and what is entering our Homeland,” Scott warned, before revealing that the Biden administration has not only been ignoring advice on how to mitigate the crisis, but is also deliberately misleading Congress.

“The experienced civil service staff within CBP, ICE and DHS have provided multiple options to reduce the illegal entries and reestablish some semblance of border security through proven programs and consequences, yet every recommendation has been summarily rejected,” Scott wrote. “Secretary Mayorkas is choosing to ignore the sound recommendations of career government leadership despite his own admissions that he agrees with them.”

“Of grave concern,” Scott continued, “is the fact that the Secretary and other political appointees within DHS have provided factually incorrect information to Congressional Representatives and to the American public. Furthermore, they have directed USBP personnel to allow otherwise ineligible aliens to remain in the U.S. inconsistent with the … established legal processes and law.”

Scott’s accusation that the Biden administration is lying to Congress must be investigated. While it has been obvious to many of us that the Biden administration has shown no interest in solving the border crisis, lying to Congress about the situation is a serious accusation that cannot be ignored.

Project Veritas released the first of a series of undercover videos showing federally-employed doctors and nurses ranting about the dangers of the vaccination and the lack of reporting when it comes to dangerous adverse events.

“The government doesn’t want to show that the darn vaccine is full of sh*t,” said Dr. Maria Gonzalez, an ER doctor with the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.

Jodi O’Malley, who works as a registered nurse at the federal “Phoenix Indian Medical Center,”  surreptitiously recorded hospital staff complaining about the vaccine and the lack of reporting in regards to reported adverse events. They also talked about a co-work who got sick after being forced to take the vaccine, despite her attempt at getting a religious exemption.

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe interviewed O’Malley in Part One of the multi-part bombshell expose. He asked O’Malley why she is endangering her career to get the news out. She said she is not afraid because her faith lies in God, not in man. “At the end of the day, it’s about your health, and you can never get that back — and about your freedom, and about living in a peaceful society, and I’m like, ‘no.’ No. This is the hill that I will die on,” she said.

O’Malley claims the FDA and the CDC are at fault, and, as a federal employee, she fully expects retribution. Her son has set up a donation campaign to help the likely-to-be-fired O’Malley. The site has brought her $198,751 in donations in under 24 hours.

(Natural News) Americans have become so accustomed to our government — our elected leaders and our bureaucrats — lying to us, most people don’t even expect them to be honest with us anymore.

So it doesn’t shock too many people when we discover we’ve been lied to again; what is shocking, however, is why so many of us seem to be okay with it to the point where we’re not willing to demand better people lead us (and then elect them).

In any event, the big lie this time, once again, has to do with the COVID-19 pandemic, because you know, we haven’t been lied to enough about that virus.

One of the last true investigative reporters left in the industry is Lara Logan, and during a recent episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” which she guest hosted, she revealed what no other outlets have reported: The Biden regime ordered a federal agency tasked with worker safety to lie about COVID vaccine injuries so the White House could continue to push the narrative that ‘only with the vaccine can we get back to normal.’

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA was established in the 1970s to inspect workplaces and establish standards to prevent industrial accidents,” she began during a show segment.

“But starting this summer, the Biden administration gave OSHA a new role. Joe Biden told OSHA to start hiding information from the public to promote the COVID vaccine,” she continued.

“Until this summer, OSHA required employers to retain records of any worker who suffered a serious side effect from the vaccine. Then in June, OSHA’s guidance suddenly changed to this quote, OSHA will not enforce federal record recording requirements that require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination. That was a major change, especially since we’re still learning so much about these vaccines and their possible side effects,” Logan noted.

“Just hours ago, for example, the Telegraph in Britain reported that quote, teenage boys are six times more likely to suffer from heart problems from the vaccine than be hospitalized from COVID-19. And in Israel, where more than 80 percent of adults are vaccinated, COVID cases are spiking. Israel now has one of the world’s highest daily infection rates,” the investigative reporter noted further.

“So what explains that? In his remarks to the nation, Joe Biden didn’t answer that. Instead, he put OSHA, the same agency that’s been hiding evidence of vaccine side effects, in charge of forcing millions of Americans to take the COVID vaccine,” she said.

“Joe Biden didn’t even bother to ask Congress. He said the new mandate is justified because COVID is a quote, emergency. Then he walked away without taking questions once again. But let’s look at the facts. On average, more than 98 percent of COVID-19 patients in the United States survive. That number is well over 99 percent for every age group, except for the very elderly, whether they’re vaccinated or not,” she added.

And now, the regime wants to push a third vaccine on us — a “booster” — but for a change, an advisory committee to a federal agency is pushing back, and the reason for it will raise your eyebrows: Safety.

A Food and Drug Administration panel voted to reject an effort by the Biden administration to begin rolling out COVID-19 booster vaccines next week, citing a lack of safety data.

The rejection by the independent advisory committee came after reviewing a 23-page briefing report issued by the FDA citing recent studies, leading the panel to recommend a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine only for Americans over 65 as well as those who are more at risk of contracting COVID.

The committee members said that more information will be required before it approves the vaccine for Americans 16 and older.

(Natural News) The Biden regime is continuing its war on red states over their refusal to buckle under his demands to re-impose pointless, needless COVID-19 restrictions, this time by ‘taking over’ distribution of the highly effective medication ivermectin, and then refusing to send it to them.

One of the states Biden’s regime really resents is Florida, where liberty-minded GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis has pushed back hard on the White House and its health hacks like Dr. Tony Fauci and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, and of course, it was one of the first red states denied ivermectin.

But because he’s one of the best governors in the country, DeSantis has already figured out a workaround, which will also, most likely, anger the regime.

“Just last week on September 9th, President Joe Biden said that his administration would be increasing shipments of monoclonal antibodies in September by 50 percent, and yet on September 13th, HHS announced that it was seizing control of the monoclonal antibody supply and that it would control distribution,” DeSantis said during a press conference last week.

“Then on September 14th, the announcement was more than 50 percent of the monoclonal antibodies that had been used in Florida were going to be reduced,” he added.

The governor said that Biden’s “dramatic reduction’ is “doubly problematic” because “what Shane Strum and folks in Tampa General and these other hospital systems that have been doing this, they’re not getting it from the state.”

“What the HHS and the Biden administration is now doing is they’re saying that all of the reduced amount will go to the state, and we’re responsible not only for sourcing our sites, which we’re happy to do, but any infusion center,” the governor continued to explain. “Any provider, any hospital will have to come through the state, and to just spring this on us starting next week, we’re going to have to do that. There’s going to be a huge disruption and patients are going to suffer as a result of this,” DeSantis said, pointing out that the regime is actually not harming him, it is harming Floridians — over a political disagreement.But again, DeSantis has found a workaround, as The Post Millennial reports:DeSantis said he received a call Wednesday from GlaxoSmithKline executives on possibly ordering their monoclonal antibody to avoid Biden’s restriction on the life-saving treatment.

A DeSantis aide told Philip Webmann of Real Clear News that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has not yet bothered to tell Florida officials why the ivermectin cut was implemented.

“They had a vague statement about ‘equity,’ but sorry, that doesn’t cut it. No explanation of how the allocation was determined. No explanation of why it’s only Florida and a few other red states being restricted. No warning,” the aide told the outlet. HHS announced Sept. 13 that the agency would begin taking over control and distribution of the treatment, which told political opponents like DeSantis what was coming.

Later the same day, the Florida Department of Health told HHS it needed 36,000 doses per week to supply 25 state-run sites, but the federal health agency did not say that a shortage was forthcoming, “just that they were monitoring more closely,” the aide said.

But then the following day, Sept. 14, HHS sent an email to the state health agency that their allocation of treatments for the week would  be “3,100 doses of BAM/ETE and 27,850 doses of REGN-COV.”

“Contradicting recent and previous guidance from HHS, this was the first and only indication that Florida would receive a decreased supply and would be responsible for allocating among facilities,” according to a timeline issued by the state. “I will fight like hell to overcome Biden’s cruel decision to drastically reduce life-saving monoclonal antibody treatments for Floridians. We’ve seen steep reductions in hospital admissions due to early treatment efforts. It’s wrong to penalize Florida for his partisan bitterness,” DeSantis vowed.

The architects of Biden’s Afghanistan disaster are all playing the, “I Knew Nothing” game. But there’s a good deal of evidence that they did know.

In Wednesday’s article, I discussed Secretary of State Blinken’s culpability.

 23 staffers at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul signed a memo warning that the Taliban were about to take over Kabul and that evacuations needed to begin. The date was July 13, 2021. There was still a month left until the Taliban would enter Kabul. And that should have been plenty of time to conduct an evacuation and get American civilians safely out.

Weeks after the memo, Blinken was still insisting, all evidence to the contrary, that, “No one has an interest in a military takeover of the country by the Taliban, the restoration of an Islamic emirate.”

Notably, the letter that Blinken dispatched to Afghanistan’s president at the time, warned that the Taliban could “make rapid territorial gains”.

The letter, which Tolo got a copy of, shows that Blinken actually knew the risks of the game he was playing.

Further, Blinken writes that even with the continuation of the US financial assistance to Afghan forces after an American withdrawal, he is “concerned that the security situation will worsen and that the Taliban could make rapid territorial gains” and that he shares this so that President Ghani “understands the urgency of my tone regarding the collective work outlined in this letter.”

So much for the  “I Knew Nothing” game.

Georgia is getting over 1,000 Afghans “resettled” there.

It’s one way to get Stacey Abrams the governorship.

Texas is getting 4,481 Afghans dumped on the state. Michigan will get 1,280, Florida, 1,030, Pennsylvania 995, Ohio 855, Kentucky 850, Missouri 1,200 and Oklahoma 1,800.

Keep in mind this is just the down payment.

Biden’s fake evacuation left most of the SIV visa holders in Talibanstan. Once they make their way out, we’ll have to resettle all of them. And you can bet that a whole lot of them will be resettled in places where they can displace Republicans by supporting leftist candidates.

And once you account for family reunification, the 1,000 will quickly turn into 3,000 and 5,000.

Then the terror attacks will begin.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind: DHS Scrambling to Deport Haitians Under a Bridge in Texas

There are now an estimated 14,000 Haitians and other illegal immigrants camped out under a bridge in South Texas waiting to be arrested by border agents and then released into the United States. Photos and video of the Biden bungle at the border have terrified the White House to the point that they have tasked the Department of Homeland Security with getting the Haitians off the news.

DHS will authorize up to eight flights a day from Texas to Haiti in order to get the poor, desperate people out of sight.

The United States has now closed the Del Rio Port of Entry into the United States — an unprecedented move to stop traffic headed north into the United States or south into Mexico. Jokes about the barn door and horses are perfectly apropos.

Washington Examiner:

“This temporary closure and shift is necessary in order for CBP to respond to urgent safety and security needs presented by an influx of migrants into Del Rio and is effective immediately,” the agency said. “It will advance and protect national interests and help ensure the safety of the traveling public, commercial traffic, and CBP employees and facilities.”

All vehicular traffic will have to travel an hour’s drive to the next closest open port of entry between Eagle Pass, Texas, and Piedras Negras, Mexico.

The Haitian government has agreed to accept three flights a day. Three is not eight, so one might wonder where the other planeloads of Haitians are going to land.

Laughably, the Biden administration is bending over backward to assure all of us that they aren’t “targeting” any one race or nationality in this airlift.

Washington Post:

“This isn’t about any one country or country of origin,” the official said. “This is about enforcing border restrictions on those who continue to enter the country illegally and put their lives and the lives of the federal workforce at risk.”

The Biden administration continues to use a pandemic enforcement measure known as Title 42 to rapidly “expel” border crossers to Mexico or their home countries. Officials said some of the flights to Haiti would probably be expulsion flights relying on the public health authority of the Title 42 provision.

Consider us assured, guys.

Meanwhile, a federal judge ruled on Thursday that Title 42 no longer applies to families that show up at the border with at least one child below the age of 18. Those families will be processed and released into the United States while they await their court dates — sometime around 2024.

The Biden administration is hoping to “discourage” more Haitians from arriving under the bridge. It hardly matters. The Haitians and other illegals will simply go somewhere else while waiting for their turn to be arrested and processed.

By announcing its intent to deport the Haitians before launching the flights, Biden officials also appeared to be hoping some in the camp would abandon their attempt to enter the United States and return to Mexico. Migrants arriving to the camp have been given numbered tickets by the Border Patrol as they await a turn to be formally taken into U.S. custody, the first step in starting the process of requesting U.S. asylum or some other form of protection from deportation.

Some Haitians seeking to avoid deportation could abandon the Del Rio camp and attempt to remain in the United States illegally, or return to Mexico, two U.S. officials acknowledged.

The Biden administration has been doing a great job of keeping the crisis at the border off the television and out of the news reports. It’s only when illegals do something crazy like gather under a bridge in Texas when it’s 100 degrees outside that the mainstream media bestir themselves to cover the crisis.

In a couple of days, we’ll be back to normal — a non-crisis that isn’t happening.

The 10,000 illegal aliens who await entry into the United States at the border down of Del Rio, Texas, are overrunning the city. Another 10,000 are on the way, Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported this morning. And the Biden Regime is ignoring it.

Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida, along with Rep. Tony Gonzalez of Texas’s 23rd District are begging President Biden to do something … and blaming him for the deluge of humanity. Gonzalez’s district includes the besieged town.

“This manmade disaster was caused by Joe Biden,” Cruz tweeted.

Yet Biden isn’t ignoring it completely. His Federal Aviation Administration put flight restrictions over the area to stop Fox News’s drone flights that capture video of the catastrophe.

Critical Mass

The number of illegals, many of them Haitians, has more than doubled since September 15, when 4,000 had massed under the Del Rio bridge.

“The city is now completely overrun and our border patrol is overwhelmed. President Biden and Sec. Mayorkas need to act NOW,” Gonzalez warned when the figure was a mere 4,000.

But that number quickly doubled to 8,200, as Melugin tweeted early yesterday.

Now, more than 10,000 of the penniless “migrants” are there. The population of Del Rio is about 36,000.

“I am on the ground in Del Rio, Texas tonight,” Cruz wrote late yesterday:

As of this moment, there are 10,503 illegal aliens under the Del Rio International Bridge. This manmade disaster was caused by Joe Biden. #BidenBorderCrisis

Even Rubio, who supported the Gang of Eight amnesty for illegal aliens, is concerned enough to say something:

A new migratory crisis has emerged over the last 72 hours on the southern border

A new surge of migrants has overwhelmed Border Patrol agents and thousands of migrants,including small children,are now crowded into dangerous impromptu camp

And thousands more are on the way.

When the illegals will simply break-out and trample the already-overwhelmed Border Patrol is open to question. But when it happens, Americans won’t see it, at least from the air, if the FAA’s rule stays in place.

Last night, the federal agency grounded Fox’s drone, which has shown the enormity of Biden’s failure in living color.

“We’ve learned that the FAA just implemented a two week TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX, meaning we can no longer fly our FOX drone over it to show images of the thousands of migrants,” Melugin tweeted. “FAA says ‘special security reason’.”

Melugin followed with details that suggest the Biden Regime wants to hide the invasion:

@FoxNews has been covering the border nonstop for almost 7 months now, we use the drone constantly, and it has never been an issue. We have reached out to the FAA to ask for clarification on why this TFR was implemented. We haven’t heard back yet. Will update if/when we do.

Later, Melugin reported that the FAA downed the drones because they interfered with “law enforcement flights” and that the media could appeal the rule.

Small Fraction

But blocking the drones would have done no good anyway. The news from Del Rio is out. The Border Patrol is overwhelmed because Sleepy Joe opened the borders by rescinding many of President Trump’s border security initiatives.

The 10,000 at Del Rio are just a small fraction of the total that border agents caught in August and will catch in September. Late this morning, Melugin reported that law enforcement sources said another 10,000 were on the way to join those already packed under the bridge in the city.

As The New American reported of the latest border data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents apprehended more than 200,000 illegals in August, just as they did in July.

The total on the year is more than 1.5 million. The total for the fiscal year, which ends in 13 days, could exceed 1.7 million.

As news of another throng of 10,000 approached Del Rio, Biden left for the beach.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that his administration will purchase monoclonal antibody treatments directly from the manufacturer to circumvent President Biden’s tyrannical efforts to restrict their distribution.

DeSantis has been an outspoken proponent of the monoclonal antibodies, which have shown significant promise in reducing the effectives of COVID-19 and preventing hospitalization when the drugs are administered early in the onset of the virus. According to the Tampa Bay Times, high-risk patients who are given the treatment were “a third as likely to be hospitalized as similar patients given a placebo.”

Regeneron was the first manufacturer to get FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization to administer its antibody treatment. In the final days of the Trump administration, the company agreed to sell its entire stock of the monoclonal antibody treatments to the federal government, empowering the government to decide how the treatments are supplied. The Biden administration has announced it would be restricting supplies to the states who have been ordering large quantities of the treatments.

DeSantis set a goal of opening 15 to 20 monoclonal antibody sites across the state to serve up to 300 patients per day. But Biden’s newly announced policy to allot the drugs based on usage numbers and case rates will make that even more difficult.

Other states have also voiced concerns about Biden’s restrictions. Forbes reported that the Medical Association of the State of Alabama said it was “very concerned” about the federal government limiting the treatment supply, asserting in a statement that the government should be looking to “provide more of this treatment, not less” when Alabama’s hospitals are already under enormous strain.

“Many patients who receive monoclonal antibody treatment report feeling better within 24 to 48 hours,” Alabama Medical Association President Dr. Aruna Arora said in the statement. “Monoclonal antibody treatment is not a substitute for COVID vaccinations. However, if someone does test positive for COVID-19, they should immediately talk to a physician and see if they qualify for monoclonal antibody treatment. It can be a life-saver.” 

In Tennessee, patients are being turned away “due to lack of clarity on when treatment will be available,” the state’s Department of Health said.

Critics of Biden’s move contend he is doing so to punish states that oppose his administration’s mandates.

“Antibody treatments aren’t a substitute for vaccines But they have prevented thousands of hospitalizations including in breakthrough cases,” Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) posted on Twitter. “Now in a move that reeks of partisan payback against states like Florida, the Biden administration is rationing these treatments.”

HHS said states with low vaccination rates that have been placing large orders of the antibody treatments must reduce their orders by 30 percent. The announcement prompted Kentucky’s Democratic Governor Andy Beshear to warn “vaccine hesitant” residents that they should not rely on the availability of the monoclonal antibody treatments.

“What this shortage ought to tell you is that if you’re unvaccinated and you get really sick, not only might there not be a bed in the hospital for you because they are so full, but that monoclonal antibody treatment might not be there for you either,” Beshear said. 

These are exactly the fear tactics Democrats have been using to force their vaccine agenda on Americans. The federal government is cutting the supply seemingly to push more Americans to get the vaccine. Biden admitted as much this week when he said, regarding the vaccines, “The governors of Florida and Texas are doing everything they can to undermine the life-saving requirement that I proposed.” It’s no coincidence that those are two of the seven states affected by the new restrictions. And it is despicable.

Fortunately, as other manufacturers have since developed similar monoclonal antibodies, Governor DeSantis hopes to work directly with them to circumvent the Biden administration’s restrictions. DeSantis said his office will “work like hell to make sure” that Florida can “overcome the obstacles that the HHS and the Biden administration” are imposing on the state. He said he will be ordering the monoclonal antibody directly from GlaxoSmithKline.

According to Tom Hladish, research scientist at the University of Florida’s Department of Biology and the Emerging Pathogens Institute, DeSantis’ widespread treatment campaign would make tremendous strides in reducing the pressure on state hospitals.

”That’s not trivial,” Hladish said. “Every bed that you free up in an ICU when you’re close to capacity, you’re saving people who are injured in car accidents.”

There are a few patchouli true believers out there (one runs the cash register at my local filling station), and I am not sure if polyester is making a comeback, but judging by Megan Fox’s review of the VMA awards, it may be time to give it a second look. However, while gas lines may be in the future, high prices are here now. They are squatting over us like, to steal a phrase out of context from Nietzsche, a “catastrophic spider.” Or is that the Democratic Party?

In fact, while the cost of gas and items purchased in brick-and-mortar stores continue to slip the surly bonds of earth, online purchases are naturally seeing a hike in prices as well. If you can order it from your tablet, laptop, or smartphone, it is costing more than it did a year ago. That includes clothes, pet products, your vitamins, and furniture. This may have caught many people on the hop since they figured that online orders have a lower overhead. But production and shipping costs are keeping pace with the times.

You would think that with all the uncertainty that has become part and parcel of the 21st century and the skyrocketing costs of life in general, the Donkey Party would take a few minutes from reposting photos from the Met Gala to contemplate the struggles of the common man. But alas, that is not the case. But you already knew that. And you already knew that when it comes to taxes, a Donkey Double-Down is inevitable.

Such was the case earlier this week in Congress, when GOP members of the Ways and Means Committee, Kevin Hern and Lloyd Smucker, tried to introduce bills as part of the markup for the $3.5 trillion budget abomination. The bills had a simple goal: Hold off any tax hikes until the economy resembles something akin to its pre-pandemic state. Said Hern of his bill: “It’s not hard to understand that this is the wrong time for Democrats to shove one of the largest tax increases in American history on the American people that have not regained their strength from the brutal blow of COVID-19.”

“Inflation is a tax on all Americans and it hurts working-class Americans the most.,” he added. Hern hoped to at least hold off on any tax hikes until the annual rate of inflation dropped below 2.5% for 12 months in a row. Smucker’s bill would have delayed the increases until the national unemployment rate fell below the pre-pandemic levels for six months. Keep in mind, these men were not necessarily trying to deny the Dems their cash-grab. They just wanted to wait until the nation was in a better position to deal with them. And, of course, Democrats on the committee blocked both bills. This may give them a “tax the rich” warm fuzzy, but of course, it results in higher rates of inflation for you and me.

Apparently, all of that empathy and goodwill at the Met got thrown out with the empty Chardonnay bottles.

The federal government began erecting a security fence around the U.S. Capitol yesterday in advance of Saturday’s Justice for J6 protest. Yet the guardians of America ignore the illegal-invasion at the southwest border.

Thus did border patrol agents apprehend more than 200,000 illegals for the second straight month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported. 

So far this year, agents have caught more than 1.5 million illegals. That figure does not count got-aways.

That news, and the 8,200 illegals piled up under the Del Rio, Texas, as of this morning, show that the Biden Regime is either rudderless or purposely importing new voters to cement Democrat power.

Biden and his “immigration czar,” Vice President Kamala Harris, after all, have done nothing to stop the invasion.

August Numbers

CBP reported that agents apprehended 208,887 illegals last month, a 2.2 percent decrease from July’s 213,534.

Of the total, 195,558 were caught jumping the border, and most of that cohort, 97,270, were single adults. Another 79,754 were in so-called families, and 18,534 were “single minors.”

Agents caught 1,472,655 illegals trying to jump the border this year and stopped 68,996 at ports of entry.

Total for the year: 1,541,651. That nearly equals the population of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and it exceeds the population of San Antonio, Texas.

Agents apprehended 6,344 illegals every day, or 264 per hour. 

If those numbers hold for September, the last month in fiscal 2021, agents will apprehend another 190,000 or so. That would put the total for the year at more than 1.7 million.

How many have the China Virus and other diseases is unknown. The Biden Regime has confirmed it is not and will not test the illegals at the border.

But illegals who carry dread diseases are the only threat to the health and safety of Americans, particularly those at the border.

Hidden in the late-summer horde were another 1,000 criminals to bring the total apprehended for the year to 9,728, up from 8,691 in July.

They included rapists, thieves, drug dealers and killers in these numbers:

• Assault, battery, domestic violence: 1,062

• Burglary, robbery, larceny, theft, fraud: 738

• Driving under the influence: 1,510

• Homicide, manslaughter: 53

• Illegal drug possession, trafficking: 1,935

• Illegal entry, re-entry: 5,552

• Illegal weapons possession, transport, trafficking: 305

• Sexual offenses: 448

• Other: 2,470

These numbers do not include “got-aways;” i.e., illegals whom border agents do not apprehend. The Center for Immigration Studies reported in May that 40,000 illegals slipped past agents in April. 

And that was just one month.

Del Rio Bridge

Sharpening the point that the U.S. no longer controls its own border is Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies.

The author of America’s Cover Border War tweeted that almost 7,000 illegals were massed in Del Rio, Texas, apparently ready for a mad rush into the country.

Del Rio is on the border about 160 miles west of San Antonio.

“DHS officer on scene just told me 6,500 illegal immigrants are under the Del Rio, Texas bridge right now,” he wrote at about 9 p.m. last night.

No manpower available for@crowd co trail. No food. No bathroom facilities. This doesn’t look like it’s going to end well. Thinking maybe a breakout?

By this morning, Bill Melugin of Fox News reported, the number had grown to 8,200, thousands of them Haitians.

As that throng awaited its chance to enter the country, contractors in Washington, D.C., erected a security fence around the U.S. Capitol in anticipation of the Justice for J6 rally on Saturday.

Demonstrators will gather in the city to protest the treatment of those arrested for participating in the mostly peaceful protest in Washington, D.C., on January 6. Protestors that day entered the U.S. Capitol. Whether Saturday’s rally is a false-flag operation to incite violence — which would smear supporters of President Trump and give the Biden Regime, Congress, and Big Tech another excuse to crack down on patriots — is unknown.

Either way, concerned as they are about their own safety and “protecting democracy,” the leftists and establishment Republicans who run the government are unconcerned about Americans on the border — at the front line of the illegal-alien invasion.
