Comer Makes an Announcement About Biden Impeachment Inquiry

On Thursday evening, House Oversight Committee chairman Rep.  James Comer (R-Ky.) appeared on Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight” and revealed that he believes the House GOP has the votes to open up an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

“Where are we with the impeachment inquiry?” host Rob Schmitt asked. “And do you think there are still even—though most people know this man is corrupt—are there still some limp-wristed Republicans who might vote no if this was put to an impeachment vote?”

“I do believe that we have the votes for an impeachment inquiry,” Comer responded. “I think that with the revelation of all these emails, you know that Joe Biden was communicating with Hunter Biden about his business about all of the corruption that he was involved in. I think that was the straw that broke the camel’s back with a few of the Republicans who were a little nervous about going the route of impeachment inquiry. They realized that we need this tool to be able to win in court because that’s where we’re headed. We’ve just about picked all the low-hanging fruit.”

Related: Is Joe Biden Really the Democrats’ Best Hope?

Comer continued by pointing out that the House Oversight Committee surprised the Biden legal team by taking a measured approach to their investigation and subpoenaed Hunter Biden as soon as the GOP took back the majority. “Any request we had, they would have said there’s pending litigation and they would have run the clock out,” Comer said. “But, we got the shell companies, we’ve got the bank records of the shell companies. So, we built a case, Rob, that would win in court.”

Comer added that he never expected there would actually be emails between Joe Biden and Hunter Biden talking about business or Ukraine, and that he “never dreamed” that Biden would be using pseudonyms to do so.

So, what’s the next step? Schmitt asked Comer when we can expect to see action by the House GOP.

“I think that the House will vote in September,” Comer predicted. “Now, this is all up to Kevin McCarthy, but he and I’ve had several conversations. I know Jim Jordan has spoken with him many times as well. I would predict that in the middle of September, we have a vote. I will predict that it passes, and I will predict that we will use that with all these government agencies that are refusing to turn over valuable information like the National Archives.”

I hope he’s right. If he is, an impeachment inquiry will begin this month. Let’s hope Speaker McCarthy is down for it.

Joe Biden Is Really Screwed Now

AP Photo/Alex Brandon
I often get hate mail for writing articles critical of Donald Trump. According to his diehard supporters, Trump is not only entitled to the GOP nomination in 2024, but he is also the only candidate who can beat Joe Biden.

I’ve done everything I can to be fair in my coverage of the 2024 GOP primary to the extent that I have no qualms about pointing out that I think that Trump most certainly can win in 2024, even as many Republicans argue that he can’t.

But those who are advocating for Trump or another Republican are asking the wrong questions. It’s not about if Trump can beat Biden if DeSantis can beat Biden, or even if Trump is too toxic to win; it’s about whether Biden can beat any of the Republicans running for the nomination.

According to a new poll from CNN and SSRS Research, he really can’t. According to the poll, not only would Trump beat Biden 47-46, but all Republicans but one candidate (Vivek Ramaswamy) beat Biden or tie him. DeSantis ties Biden at 47% each. Pence bests Biden by two points, 46-44%, as does Tim Scott. Heck, even Chris Christie beats Biden 44 to 42%.

But the real surprise in the poll is that Nikki Haley beats Biden by a larger margin than any other candidate, besting him 49% to 43%. A poll like this may not help her win the GOP nomination, but it certainly helps her audition as a potential running mate for Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis.

“Despite voters’ strong opinions toward Trump, Biden fares no better against any other Republican hopefuls tested in the poll. He is about even with Ron DeSantis (47% each), Mike Pence (46% Pence, 44% Biden), Tim Scott (46% Scott, 44% Biden), Vivek Ramaswamy (46% Biden, 45% Ramaswamy), and Chris Christie (44% Christie, 42% Biden),” CNN says in its report on the poll.

“Haley stands as the only GOP candidate to hold a lead over Biden, with 49% to Biden’s 43% in a hypothetical match between the two,” the report continues. “That difference is driven at least in part by broader support for Haley than for other Republicans among White voters with college degrees (she holds 51% of that group, compared with 48% or less for other Republicans tested in the poll).”

Previous: Oye, Biden’s Numbers Are Really, Really Bad

This is a terrible position for an incumbent to be in that he would lose to virtually every Republican candidate who is running. It’s not particularly surprising considering how bad Biden’s approval ratings are and how most Americans think he’s too old to be president. Make no mistake about it; this poll shows that Joe Biden is incredibly weak going into the 2024 election.

Of course, with Biden so weak, the media will do its part to try to save him. Here at PJ Media, we will do our part to hold Biden accountable for his failures and corruption, but we do so at huge risk. Big Tech is colluding to protect Biden by silencing those who dare to report the truth.

First Afghan Muslim in CA Senate Got Democrats to Pass Her Anti-Hindu Bill

Democrats have let themselves be dragged into Islamic attacks on Jews and Hindus.

California is moving to pass a “caste discrimination” bill. Strangest of all is that the bill comes from Sen. Aisha Wahab, the first Muslim and Afghan in the California State Senate.

After backlash from Hindus over a bill that was very clearly targeting them, Sen. Wahab and her political allies claimed that she was facing Islamophobia and death threats from “extremists”.

Time Magazine sent a Muslim journalist to interview Wahab about the Islamophobia she was suffering from.

And as the anti-Hindu bill moves closer to becoming law, the media has doubled down on this approach along with refusing to notice the obvious.

The affair has had repercussions for Wahab in her heavily South Asian district. It’s become a bitter lesson in the pitfalls of wading into nuanced cultural issues in an ever-more diverse nation.

Wahab, a progressive tapped by Newsom to highlight his signature gun control effort, appeared to be caught off guard by the vitriolic response to what she views as a straightforward issue.

“This is a civil rights bill,” she said in an interview. “It’s very simple. We’re trying to protect people.”

A Muslim legislator pushing a bill aimed at a practice that is stereotypically (and wrongly) associated with Hindus (in fact there’s caste discrimination in Pakistan as well and de facto in her own native Afghanistan) when Muslims and Hindus have a long history of conflict is not innocent. And it makes no particular sense to fail to mention the elephant in the room.

Even assuming Wahab was actually innocently unaware that there has been a longstanding conflict between Muslims and Hindus, and that Hindus in her district and around the world would feel attacked by this move, the media should have at least asked her about it instead of buying her act.

Now Democrats have let themselves be dragged into Islamic attacks on Jews and Hindus.

At some point, they may wonder if it’s worth it.

Sen. Wahab launched a 2020 congressional campaign for Rep. Eric Swalwell’s seat. So she would like to be in Congress which means her particular issues with Hindus, much like Rep. Ilhan Omar’s issues with Jews and Hindus, will likely be a national issue for her party as well.

The Biden Administration quietly reversed a Trump-era regulation by moving to ban the transport of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by rail system.

In a federal filing on Friday, ahead of Labor Day weekend, the Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), moved to suspend a Trump-era rule allowing the transport of LNG via train cars.

However, the rule will remain in effect until a permanent rule regarding a new LNG rail tank car transportation is proposed and put into place, which could take several months or until June 30, 2025.

“We are encouraged by the decision to suspend the dangerous practice of transporting highly flammable LNG by rail through communities,” said Patrick Grenter, the director of eco group Sierra Club’s Beyond Dirty Fuels Campaign.

“We have seen the destruction that an accident can cause to communities bordering the railway route, often communities most impacted by pollution and we support any step that will keep it from happening again,” he added. “We urge PHMSA to make the only reasonable decision available to them: make the suspension permanent and ban LNG by rail once and for all.”

This news comes after Democrat lawmakers had written to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg earlier this year, pleading for a permanent ban on LNG transportation by a rail system, citing safety risks pointed out by a handful of environmental groups.

The PHMSA claimed that the new rule would help the federal government limit public health risks and environmental consequences.

The agency also stated that the new regulation will allow enough time to complete ongoing testing and evaluation for LNG rail transportation, which can help create mitigation measures to limit risks during transportation.

“This suspension will give time for PHMSA, in conjunction with the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering as well as its Canadian regular counterparts, to complete critical research on transporting cryogenic liquids like LNG (and hydrogen) by rail more safely,” said PHMSA Deputy Administrator Tristan Brown. “This research is expected to conclude in the next year or so and will inform future federal safety regulations from PHMSA and the FRA.”

Republican Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee, said that the move by the Biden administration was the latest example of its war on energy.

“Today the Biden administration has fired another salvo in its war on American energy by essentially prohibiting the movement of LNG by rail,” Cruz said. “America is a leader in reducing carbon emissions largely because of the United States development and use of natural gas. The energy renaissance we are seeing in this country is producing enormous environmental benefits.”

“This is yet another example of why the Biden administration cannot be trusted to implement pro-domestic energy policies,” he added.

In light of President Biden’s deteriorating health and advanced age, Vice President Kamala Harris stated in an interview on Wednesday that she was prepared to carry out her constitutional responsibility to take over as president in any event where Biden would not be able to continue fulfilling his position.

Biden, who is 80 and will turn 81 in November, is still the oldest president to have ever led the United States.

If Democrats win the election again in 2024 and Biden is sworn in as president for a second time, he will be 86 at the very end of his term. Harris said it was “hypothetical” that she may take office as America’s new president, but also insisted that she was fully prepared if that occasion were to arise.

“Joe Biden is going to be fine, so that is not going to come to fruition,” Harris told The Associated Press in Indonesia, where she was attending a regional summit. “But let us also understand that every vice president, every vice president, understands that when they take the oath they must be very clear about the responsibility they may have to take over the job of being president.”

“I’m no different,” she added.

Despite the fact that the majority of people believe Biden is too old for government, including many Democrats who answered related polls, the vice president still rejected concerns about his age.

According to a recent AP/NORC survey, 69% of Democrats and 77% of Americans believe that Biden is too senile to serve a second term.

Republicans running for president have consistently made the case that voting for Biden would actually mean voting for Harris, including former South Carolina governor and GOP hopeful Nikki Haley.

“I see him every day,” Harris said, speaking of Biden. “A substantial amount of time we spend together is in the Oval Office, where I see how his ability to understand issues and weave through complex issues in a way that no one else can to make smart and important decisions on behalf of the American people have played out.”

“And so I will say to you that I think the American people ultimately want to know that their president delivers. And Joe Biden delivers,” she added.

In the past, Harris entered the 2020 presidential race but rapidly lost interest after the Democratic primary debates.

She eventually withdrew from the race in December and won less support from committed delegates than rivals Michael Bloomberg, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, and Tulsi Gabbard.

After suggesting that former President Trump should be held completely accountable for the protests at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021, and his alleged attempts to rescind the results of the 2020 presidential election, Harris also highlighted her previous experience as a prosecutor.

From 2004 to 2011, Harris was the district attorney for San Francisco, and from 2011 to 2017, she was the attorney general of California.

“Let the evidence, the facts, take it where it may,” Harris said during the interview on Wednesday. “I spent the majority of my career as a prosecutor. I believe that people should be held accountable under the law. And when they break the law, there should be accountability.”

Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, is being accused of trying to rig the 2020 election in Georgia, which is one of four federal charges against him.

Both Biden and Harris have already claimed that Trump is a threat to American democracy, with the 2024 presidential election cycle already underway and the likelihood that he will be the Republican nominee.

“Democracies are very fragile,” Harris said. “They will only be as strong as our willingness to fight for it.”

Harris attended the recent summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on behalf of the U.S. since Biden decided to not attend.

“We as Americans, I believe, have a very significant interest, both in terms of our security but also our prosperity, today and in the future, in developing and strengthening these relationships,” she said.

Harris’ popularity has remained very low during her time serving as vice president, and according to an NBC News survey, she earned the lowest rating of any vice president ever.

Among registered voters, just 32% had a favorable opinion of Harris, compared to 49% who had an unfavorable opinion and 39% who had a “very negative view.”

Just in Time for 9/11, NYC Allows Islamic Call to Prayer Over Loudspeakers~Our surrender

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/just-in-time-for-9-11-nyc-allows-islamic-call-to-prayer-over-loudspeakers;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

[Editor’s note: Make sure to read Robert Spencer’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

Did the 9/11 hijackers and plotters succeed? Can it finally be said, nearly twenty-two years after they murdered nearly three thousand people in New York and Washington, that they have attained their objectives?

Back in 2003, Osama bin Laden wrote a letter to the American people in which he explained, “The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam.” Twenty years later, that very call will resound from loudspeakers all over the city that was his chief target on Sept. 11, 2001. (All the 9/11-was-an-inside-job types can find bin Laden taking responsibility for the attacks here). New York Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday announced what Gothamist described as “new NYPD rules” that “will allow mosques in New York City to broadcast the Muslim call to prayer without a permit.”

Adams couched this rule change in language designed to give the impression that he was doing something for people of all religious communities, but ended up making it clear that he was making a special concession to Muslims only: “For too long, there has been confusion about which communities are allowed to amplify their calls to prayer,” he said. “Today, we are cutting red tape and saying clearly, if you are a mosque or house of worship of any kind, you do not have to apply for a permit to amplify your call to Friday prayer.” Well, great, but the only “house of worship of any kind” that has a call to prayer, and particularly one for Friday, is a mosque.

As given to shallow demagoguery as any other Democrat politician, Adams concluded grandly: “You are free to live your faith in New York City.” That’s swell, although the religious freedom of Muslims in New York City wasn’t really restricted before this. Adams appears to be completely indifferent to the fact that there are non-Muslims in New York City as well as Muslims, and there has been controversy over the broadcast of the Islamic call to prayer over loudspeakers for years.

Back in 2016, Gothamist itself reported that neighbors of one city mosque found the call to prayer “too noisy,” and noted that they had “filed 156 noise complaints against Masjid al-Aman.” It’s grand that Muslims are free to live their faith in New York City, Mayor Adams, but do the neighbors of mosques have any right to enjoy a non-intrusive, noise-free environment, at least insofar as such a thing is possible at all in New York City?

The answer is clear now, and it’s “No.” Concerns over the noise generated by mosque loudspeakers have been consigned to the dustbin of “Islamophobia,” and that’s that.

Nevertheless, there are still reasons for concern. The content of what is going to be broadcast is also relevant. The Islamic call to prayer, the adhan, says this in Arabic:

Allah is greater (Allahu akbar) (four times).
I testify that there is no God but Allah (twice).
I testify that Mohammed is the prophet of Allah (twice).
Come to prayer (twice).
Come to success (twice).
Allah is greater (Allahu akbar) (twice).
There is no God but Allah (once).

Or as Osama bin Laden put it, “The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam.”

Is New York City, the site of the largest-ever jihad terror attack on American soil, wise to broadcast the cry “Allahu akbar,” beloved of jihad terrorists the world over? Chief 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta wrote a letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission, in which he included this reminder: “Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.”

In the same vein, is New York City really wise to broadcast repeatedly a declaration of the superiority of Islam, a faith that directs its adherents to make war against Christians and other non-Muslims and subjugate them as inferiors under the hegemony of believers (cf. Qur’an 9:29)?

Neither Eric Adams nor any other New York officials will answer such questions. They won’t even be asked them. In New York City and all over America today, any such concerns will be dismissed out of hand as “Islamophobic.” And so twenty-two years after 9/11, the call to Islam will resound all over the city that suffered so much on that day. On Sept. 11, 2001, New York City was attacked by people who believed so fervently in that call that they were willing to give their lives for it, in hopes of receiving the promise of paradise that the Qur’an makes to those who “kill and are killed” for Allah (9:111).

Osama bin Laden had he lived to see this day, would be cheering.

US: Feds flag nearly 75,000 illegals as potential national security risks, including jihad terrorists

The nearly 75,000 illegals who are flagged as potential national security risks are just those who are known to be risks. The unknown numbers are an alarming factor. Open border policies present a wide-open, golden opportunity for literally any level of criminal or jihad terrorist. In the past, immigrants were vetted, and refugees fulfilled various criteria just to be deemed refugees.

These “individuals of concern,” once they have entered America (and elsewhere), often then combine efforts with individuals who are already in place, and who pose threats to public safety and national security. The FBI has admitted that a known smuggler with Islamic State ties helped migrants enter the US from Mexico. No free society can survive open borders in the long term.

“EXCLUSIVE: Feds Flagged Nearly 75,000 Illegal Migrants As Potential National Security Risks,” by Jennie Taer, Daily Caller, September 1, 2023:

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) flagged 74,904 illegal migrants nationwide for potentially posing risks to national security between October 2022 and August, according to CBP data obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Certain illegal migrants are deemed to be “special interest aliens” because they may have travel patterns that “possibly have a nexus to terrorism” or may come from countries with such ties, according to a 2019 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fact sheet. Border Patrol agents encountered 25,627 “special interest” illegal migrants in fiscal year 2022, compared to 3,675 encounters in fiscal year 2021, according to internal agency data previously obtained by the DCNF; however, this data doesn’t account for all CBP encounters of special interest aliens….

….The FBI is currently searching for a group of more than one dozen Uzbek migrants that federal authorities released into the country after they used an ISIS-tied smuggler to cross the southern border illegally.

Former acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan told the DCNF it’s alarming that federal authorities chose to release illegal migrants who were known to be special interest aliens.

“So why is it so important to track them down? Because they’re freaking special interest aliens that were smuggled in by somebody with connections to terrorism. Come on, guys. Follow the bouncing ball. I mean, the reason it’s so important is twofold. One, they actually were connected to someone who is connected to a terrorist organization and [two], they’re special interest aliens,” Morgan said….

Nice Timing: Jill Biden Tests Positive for COVID

Nice Timing: Jill Biden Tests Positive for COVID
AP Photo/Susan Walsh
The media is in fearmongering mode; in recent weeks, we’ve been told about a new COVID-19 variant, a new vaccine in the works, and a potential new mandate. Dr. Anthony Fauci has been resurrected, telling the public that studies that dispute the effectiveness of masks are wrong and that if the CDC recommends masking again, they are right.

Many have observed that it appears the public is being conditioned for the return of the pandemic and all the terrible memories from those dark days: masking, social distancing, vaccine mandates, shutdowns, and, for good measure, illegal changes to election laws for your safety.

Related: Here’s This Month’s Trove of Censored COVID Articles

So when the news dropped that Jill Biden, the wife of and personal handler for Joe Biden, tested positive for COVID-19, my first thought was, “Of course she did; why didn’t I see that coming?” It was inevitable.

Her Communications Director Elizabeth Alexander released a statement Monday evening.

“This evening, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19,” the statement read. “She is currently experiencing only mild symptoms. She will remain at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.”

According to reports, she’s double-vaccinated and double-boosted and previously caught COVID a year ago. So far, Joe Biden remains in the clear.

“Following the First Lady’s positive test for COVID-19, President Biden was administered a COVID test this evening,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement released to the media. “The President tested negative. The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms.”

Even before this latest development, many suspected that a psyop was afoot, and Jill Biden testing positive has affirmed that suspicion. Naturally, the liberal media was quick to poopoo such “conspiracy theories” and insisted that COVID is a growing problem again.

However, the announcement of the First Lady’s infection comes amid a spike in infections in the U.S. spurred on by the emergence of two new variants of the virus, prompting speculation that fresh COVID restrictions could be on the horizon.

In the week to August 19, there were more than 15,000 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 infections across the U.S., the most recent monitoring figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show—a rise of nearly 19 percent on the week prior.

Admissions have been steadily rising since July, but are far below the highest peaks of the pandemic and appear to be localized into hotspots. A CDC spokesperson told Newsweek on Thursday it currently has no intention to call for a return of mandated mask-wearing, but didn’t deny that this might change if cases of the new variants were to rise significantly.

Newsweek then went on to dismiss the “conspiracy theories” of various right-leaning voices arguing that we’re being primed to go back to pandemic mode soon because of the new COVID variant. But we all know what has happened to “conspiracy theories” in the recent past, don’t we?

Chinese nationals posing as tourists have reportedly snuck onto United States military bases over 100 times in recent years with the intention of collecting sensitive information about the U.S., according to the FBI and Department of Defense (DOD).

The recent discovery has now sparked several federal investigations regarding accusations of spying.

American authorities believe that the Chinese government is forcing citizens into service so that they can report to Beijing and reveal certain security protocols at U.S. installations, according to a Wall Street Journal (WSJ) story.

Therefore, the growing habit of breaching into military bases poses a possible espionage concern.

Espionage issues refer to the discovery of secrets, especially political or military information of another country or the industrial information of a business.

The WSJ also stated that the Chinese nationals represented themselves as “lost tourists” who claimed they had reservations at on-base hotels. The report described how trespassers would often use rehearsed and scripted language when confronted by security officials.

These incidents allegedly took place in rural areas where tourism is scarce and far from a commercial airport, which intensified suspicions surrounding their true intentions.

An anonymous former Senate Intelligence Committee official explained to the WSJ that this type of low-level Chinese intelligence collection is likely a numbers game, meaning that the Chinese government is willing to send a large number of people to the U.S., assuming that if only a few are caught, it would be impossible for the U.S. authorities to establish any connected foreign wrongdoing beyond trespassing.

The former official added that similar actions of “brushing off” incidents such as trespassing would not be tolerated by Chinese officials if Americans were caught doing the same in China.

Representative Jason Crow (D-Colo.) of the House Intelligence Committee also expressed to WSJ that Congress could begin contemplating new legislation regarding the issue. He maintained that Congress should strengthen security measures at these sensitive sites, due to the rising number of breaching incidents that have been overlooked.

The majority of current trespassing laws are state and local laws, not federal laws.

“We need to work closely with our state and local partners to train them and equip them,” Crow stated. “Right now, they don’t know how to deal with it.”

An FBI spokesperson also responded to the WSJ report.

“The greatest long-term counterintelligence threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property is from China. The Chinese government is engaged in a broad, diverse campaign of theft and malign influence without regard to laws or international norms that the FBI will not tolerate,” the FBI spokesperson told Fox News. “In coordination with our defense and intelligence community partners, along with state and local law enforcement, the FBI is committed to protecting our national security and defense information from the Chinese government’s actions and ultimately, their efforts to undermine our democracy and those who defend it.”

Several U.S. officials informed WSJ that those responsible referred to as “gate crashers,” included Chinese nationals who were captured a few years ago. They had entered a U.S. missile range in New Mexico and scuba divers were seen swimming in murky waters near a rocket launch site off Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Additionally, some Chinese nationals allegedly utilized drones in sensitive areas in order to get close, in-depth aerial images of key military facilities around the country. The Pentagon reported instances of individuals “speeding through security checkpoints.”

Other instances of trespassing include Chinese nationals at the White House leaving their visitor tours in order to take photos of the grounds, communications equipment, and positions of Secret Service and other guards, according to U.S. officials.

Very few of these incidents had resulted in espionage charges.

When a Jew-Hating Islamist Organizes Events for Broward Public Schools

Do educational institutions really want to be associated with Naima Khan-Ghany?

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/when-a-jew-hating-islamist-organizes-events-for-broward-public-schools/;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

A radical activist who was forced off two Broward County, Florida School Board committees for her extremism has successfully worked her way back into public schools in the county, through activism on behalf of Islamist organizations with ties to terror. The activist is Naima Khan-Ghany, and her exploits, which include anti-Semitic posts on social media, have been well-documented. The activism is in the form of ‘Back to School Backpack Giveaways,’ which to unsuspecting schools most probably sounds innocuous and even admirable.

As of July 1st, Khan-Ghany was no longer affiliated with the School Board. In June, she was suspended from the two School Board committees she had served on, the Diversity Committee and the Human Relations Committee, the latter of which she chaired. Her suspension took place after an article this author had written was published concerning Khan-Ghany’s affiliations with extreme Muslim groups and her own promotion of anti-Jewish bigotry.

Khan-Ghany has worked with a number of Islamist organizations, including the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the South Asian terror-linked Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). She has hosted shows for Al-Hikmat TV, the media arm of the Darul Uloom Institute (DUI), a past haven for high-profile al-Qaeda militants and whose imam/founder has been thrown off several Broward community boards for his hate-filled talks against homosexuals.

Khan-Ghany is an advisor to local chapters of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), an entity originally started by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Broward County MSA Council. She has used the group to promote extremists, including an imam who has called for violence against Jews and urged his followers to provide funding to Hamas.

Khan-Ghany has targeted Jews and Israel, herself. In May 2021, she made a series of posts on social media questioning Israel’s right to exist and calling for Israel’s outright destruction. She wrote that Israel’s claim of “self-defense” was a “usual excuse.” She posted a call for prayers for the “liberation of Palestine… from the river to the sea.” She called for a boycott of Israeli products. And she promoted videos equating Jews with Communists and Satanists and spewing age-old Jewish libels.

The amount of proof about Khan-Ghany’s extremism is overwhelming. Yet even with all this – as well as the fact that she was inauspiciously removed from her Broward County School Board positions – it has not stopped Khan-Ghany from organizing events at Broward County public schools.

This past July, the South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF), an umbrella organization for South Florida’s many radical Muslim outfits, announced on its website that Khan-Ghany’s MSA Council along with Friends of Humanity International, Inc. (FHII), in collaboration with SFMF, would be holding backpack giveaways at three mosques and three public schools, all of which were listed by SFMF. Khan-Ghany and FHII Treasurer Yunus Ismail were displayed as “contacts” for the program.

The US and Pakistan-based FHII is the brainchild of Mohammed Javed Quereshi, the man who allegedly introduced Islam to convicted terrorist Jose Padilla, prior to Padilla joining al-Qaeda and plotting to set off a radiological bomb in the US. Khan-Ghany has served on FHII’s Board of Directors, and her MSA Council has co-sponsored overseas ‘food box’ distributions with FHII, in Syria, Lebanon, and Trinidad. Indeed, it appears that the MSA Council is part of FHII, as the council’s website is shown on the backpack giveaways flyer as “FHII.ORG/MSA.”

The mosques involved in the backpack giveaways, Masjid Al-Ansar, Masjid Al-Hijra, and Jamaat Ul Muttaqeen, all have associations with Islamist groups. Each is a member of the Muslim Federation. In May 2020, Masjid Al-Ansar held a ‘Liberty City Drive Thru Food Distribution’ sponsored by ICNA and Islamic Relief, a group that has been banned by a number of nations for terror-related activities. In February 2019, Jamaat Ul Muttaqeen honored FHII’s Yunus Ismail for receiving an ICNA Relief ‘Community’s HERO’ award, calling Ismail “our hero, role model and living example of sincerity.”

It is understandable for these mosques to be affiliated with FHII and the MSA Council’s backpack program – all of the entities are part of the Islamist movement – but what is not understandable is for public schools to have involvement in this. The three schools on the list are Watkins Elementary, Pembroke Pines Elementary, and Miramar Elementary. Each of the schools falls under the guidance of the Broward County School Board, the same Broward County School Board that Naima Khan-Ghany was removed from her positions.

Why would Islamists tied to terror and bigotry wish to hold events at public schools, if not as a means to infiltrate the community under the guise of “charitable endeavors”? These seemingly benign activities, like ‘backpack giveaways’ and ‘food distributions,’ appear to be little more than dangerous public relations stunts.

Furthermore, is it not a conflict of interest to have Broward County public schools involved with someone who was just thrown off the Broward County School Board – and for promoting antisemitism yet? Is it not a conflict of interest to have public school children be associated with anything to do with radical Islam?

Two Years Later, the Consequences of Biden’s Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal Are Still Unfolding

How the Left’s woke religion kills.

[Editor’s note: Make sure to read Robert Spencer’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

Two years later, people are still paying the price for the catastrophe of Old Joe Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. And people will be paying the price for decades to come.

The Associated Press reported on August 22 that “more than 200 extrajudicial killings of former Afghan government officials and security forces have taken place since the Taliban took over the country two years ago, according to a U.N. report.” These were people the Taliban had promised not to kill, but as Muhammad said, “War is deceit” (Bukhari 4.52.268). Nine days before that, the Daily Mail reported that “militants who left fingerprints on IEDs meant to kill Americans in Afghanistan and a prisoner freed by the Taliban were among more than 65 terrorists allowed into the United States after the catastrophic withdrawal.” What could possibly go wrong? Celebrate diversity!

Jihadis beyond Afghanistan, meanwhile, are benefiting from the $7.2 billion of military equipment the U.S. left behind for the Taliban. Nikkei Asia reported last March that “modern weapons and sophisticated night vision devices left behind by U.S.-led coalition forces withdrawing from Afghanistan and fleeing Afghan troops are being used by Pakistani Taliban militants to intensify attacks on law enforcement.” Jihadis in Kashmir have the best U.S. weaponry as well.

Emblematic of the mishandling of the entire withdrawal from Afghanistan was the fact that the Islamic State jihadist who murdered 13 American service members and numerous Afghans in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport in August 2021 had just been released from prison at Bagram Air Base, the center of American operations in Afghanistan until the U.S. precipitously and irresponsibly abandoned it in July of the same year. U.S. snipers had him in their sights but were ordered not to shoot.

CNN reported that the bomber, Abdul Rehman Al-Loghri, was part of “ISIS-K,” that is, the Islamic State’s Khorasan group in central Asia, and that he had “been released from a prison near Kabul just days earlier when the Taliban took control of the area, according to three US officials.”

Al-Loghri had been held in the Parwan prison at Bagram Air Base, along with around 5,000 other prisoners, including several hundred members of ISIS, as well as Taliban and al-Qaeda jihadis. In July 2021, according to the Associated Press, “the U.S. left Afghanistan’s Bagram Airfield after nearly 20 years by shutting off the electricity and slipping away in the night without notifying the base’s new Afghan commander, who discovered the Americans’ departure more than two hours after they left.”

When the Taliban rolled into Kabul, they entered Bagram without encountering any significant opposition and opened the gates of the Parwan prison. Al-Loghri and many other jihadists walked free. Then on August 26, 2021, al-Loghri blew himself up at the Kabul airport, murdering eleven Marines, as well as one member of the Army and one of the Navy.

Contrary to Old Joe Biden’s claims that every contingency had been provided for, this was a catastrophe brought on by a lack of planning and foresight. In June 2021, General McKenzie gave an interview to Military Times in which he declared: “We have workable plans to evacuate any scale of people that we would be directed to do. That’s one of the things that we have done. I’ve talked to the secretary about it.” After the Biden regime spent nearly two years denying and evading responsibility for what happened, however, in June 2023 a review of the withdrawal was released that finally admitted, in a summary from The Hill, that “senior officials did not prepare for worst-case scenarios nor appreciate how quickly the situation could devolve; key leadership roles were not empowered with authority; and firmly held policy positions failed to take into account dissenting opinions.” What a surprise.

How many might have been saved if there had been even a modicum of strategic savvy, competence, and patriotism among the commander-in-chief and his top military officers?

What were the high ranks of the military doing while they should have been preparing for a safe and successful withdrawal? In June 2021, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) questioned General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at a Congressional hearing about an ongoing effort to saddle U.S. military personnel with mandatory readings and briefings on the topic of Critical Race Theory (CRT). Milley situated his interest in CRT as part of an investigation of the causes of the bogus January 6 “insurrection,” taking for granted the false claim that the Capitol incident, and support for Trump in general, was rooted in “white supremacism”: “I want to understand white rage, and I’m white, and I want to understand it. So what is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America? What caused that? I want to find that out.”

Milley and the rest of the woke military brass could have spent less time studying Critical Race Theory and imposing it on the troops as a way of weeding out Trump supporters from the ranks, and more time doing their actual jobs. Had they done so, they might have realized how foolish it was to steal away from Bagram in the dead of night. They could even have used the base as a rallying point for Americans in Afghanistan who wanted to leave the country, getting them out in a safe and orderly manner instead of the Saigon-on-steroids nightmare that a horrified world witnessed at Kabul airport in August 2021.

In a healthy, functioning republic, the political and military officials responsible for what happened in Afghanistan two years ago would have been impeached or forced to resign in disgrace. But the U.S. is no longer a healthy, functioning republic, and so instead, they are more entrenched than ever.

U.S. Taxpayers Fund $5 Billion Project NextGen to Develop Novel COVID Vaccines and Drugs

more money for more COVID vaccines

Just three months after the Biden administration announced that U.S. taxpayers would fund a $5 billion initiative called Project NextGen to develop “next generation” COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $1.4 billion in contracts under the program on Aug. 22, 2023. The total includes “$1 billion for COVID vaccine clinical trials, $326 million to create a new COVID monoclonal antibody drug, and $100 million to develop novel COVID vaccines and therapeutic technologies.”1 2 3

The HHS awards come on the heels of Pfizer implementing cost-cutting measures after sales for its Comirnaty messenger RNA (mRNA) COVID biologic and Paxlovid, a protease inhibitor drug, saw sharp declines this year. After Pfizer’s COVID products underperformed in 2023, the company predicted a rise in infection rates this fall that will inform its future sale strategy in the COVID market as it transitions from a government-dominated sales market to a commercial one.

However, reported cases of new SARS-CoV-2 infections in the U.S. have been rising sooner than expected, with public health officials tracking three new SARS-CoV-2 variants, including EG.5, FL.1.5.1, and BA.2.86. Coinciding with Project NextGen, the latest surge in COVID cases has led some universities and companies to reinstate the mask mandates in yet another repeat effort to “slow the spread” of the new SARS-CoV-2 variants. 3

Mask Wearing Reduced the Risk of Coronavirus Infection and Death by Only Five Percent

Throughout the pandemic, health officials in countries have been divided over whether face coverings effectively prevent the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 infections. Research conducted by Cochrane of London, England has provided substantial evidence to resolve this uncertainty. The Cochrane analysis of 78 global studies involving over one million people published on Jan. 30, 2023, found that masks only reduced the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and death by a mere five percent, and authors asserted that the benefits of mask-wearing and mask mandates did not outweigh the risks, such as impeding children’s academic and cognitive development in their early years.4

Considered the “gold standard” in assessing evidence-based medicine and public health policies, Cochrane reviews follow a rigorous methodology, are generally less vulnerable to bias, and only consider high-quality evidence in their systematic reviews that investigate the effects of interventions for disease prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.5

In response to Cochrane’s new findings, Francois Balloux, PhD, director of the UCL Genetics Institute and professor of computational biology at University College London, wrote:

Irrespective of the limitations of the study, its results indicate that the true impact of medical/surgical masks and N95/P2 respirators on the transmission of respiratory viruses is at best small. 6

Other key findings by Cochrane included: there were no clear differences between the use of medical/surgical masks compared with N95/P2 respirators in healthcare workers when used in routine care to reduce respiratory viral infection; and community mask-wearing makes little to no difference in lab-confirmed infections, compared to not masking. However, the authors concluded that immunocompromised or vulnerable individuals may benefit from mask-wearing, since interventions that are not effective at a population level may still provide a personal benefit to at-risk individuals.

Vaccine Failure Persists as CDC Suggests New Variants May Evade Natural and Vaccine-Acquired Immunity

Health authorities warn that the highly mutated BA.2.86 lineage of coronavirus may be more capable than its predecessors to cause infection in people who have been vaccinated for COVID or have been previously infected with SARS-CoV-2. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that, due to the high number of mutations detected in this new SARS-CoV-2 strain, it may be more efficient at evading immunity from vaccines and previous infections.7

The federal health agency abruptly stopped tracking breakthrough infections, or instances of vaccine failure in 2021, choosing to only include data on breakthrough infections that result in hospitalizations and deaths.8 Newer COVID booster shots, which COVID vaccine manufacturers and health officials claim will prevent serious complications from infection with an Omicron subvariant known as XBB.1.5, are expected to be available by the end of this month.9 10

Europe Is Beginning to EXPEL Islam!!!

UK government vows to stop giving taxpayer money to mosques that host antisemitic preachers, four got millions

Imagine the embarrassment of British authorities when they discover that Islamic antisemitism is deeply embedded in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and so antisemitic preachers are not “extremists,” but are completely within the Islamic mainstream. But by the time they find that out, it will be far too late for shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, and likely is already.

The Jews in the Qur’an are called the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).

“Taxpayers fund mosques that host hate preachers,” by David Rose, The Jewish Chronicle, August 31, 2023 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The Government has vowed to stop giving taxpayers’ money to mosques that host antisemitic hate preachers after a JC investigation revealed that at least four had received grants totalling millions of pounds.

The largest grant was a £2.2 million award to a Birmingham mosque which has hosted a speaker who has described Jews as “people of envy” who “killed the prophets and the messengers”.

In a viral video, its leading imam was filmed teaching how adulterous women should be stoned to death. The money has now been “paused” pending official inquiries.

Three other Muslim centres with a history of offering pulpits to extremist speakers have also received large sums, the JC can reveal.

Finsbury Park Mosque in north London, which hosted an Egyptian imam who pledged to “liberate” Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem from the “filth of the Jews”, received almost £300,000 from the Labour-controlled Islington Council between 2017 and 2022.

The mosque’s general secretary, Mohammed Kozbar, praised Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the wheelchair-bound founder of Hamas who was killed by Israeli missiles in 2004, as a “martyr” on a visit to Gaza in 2015.

Lewisham Islamic Centre in south London, whose chief imam Shakeel Begg once called on young Muslims to “go to Palestine and fight the Zionists”, was given £540,000 between 2015 and 2020, in what its accounts describe as “local authority grants”.

Following the revelations, Communities Secretary Michael Gove and Home Secretary Suella Braverman are demanding tighter “due diligence” checks by both central and local government, the JC understands.

A government source said: “All parts of government including councils are responsible for spending public money appropriately, so they must be far more careful about the organisations they support.

“It’s appalling that mosques and other religious organisations in receipt of taxpayer funding have provided platforms for extremist preachers to spread vile messages of hate.

“We will be taking action to improve due diligence and seek to exclude organisations that fail to deliver their responsibilities effectively.”

The measures that are being considered include a requirement that before granting public funds, both central and local government agencies must check with the Home Office and Levelling-Up departments for evidence that the recipient has sponsored extremism.

A High Court judge found that Begg, who has been imam of the Lewisham Islamic Centre since 1998, promoted “violence in support of Islam” during his failed libel action against the BBC in 2016.

Michael Adebolajo, who murdered Private Lee Rigby in a London street in 2013, was a member of his congregation, although Begg said the killing left him “appalled” and went against Islamic teaching.

In 2021, Begg attended an event at the Lewisham mosque where a speaker expressed support for rocket attacks on Israel, and was praised by the imam as “inspiring”.

Lewisham Council, which is Labour-controlled, claims to have no record of the £539,418 shown as being given to Begg’s mosque in its accounts.

Lewisham Islamic Centre’s 2022 annual report includes an endorsement by local Labour MP Ellie Reeves saying it does “absolutely brilliant work for the Lewisham community” and another by the borough’s mayor, Damian Egan, who described it as “a source of guidance, community and friendship”.

In early August the Department of Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) was reported to have given £2.2 million towards a scheme run by the Green Lane Masjid in the Small Heath area of Birmingham….

FORMER SOUTHERN BAPTIST, NOW ANGLICAN, APOSTATE Beth Moore Now Fellowships With Muslims, IN HER OWN CHURCH

Imam Stands in Pulpit at Beth Moore’s Church and Preaches From the Koran

Beth Moore has served as a lector during worship service at St. Timothy’s. According to at least one definition, in the Anglican Church, “The lector carries out his/her primary function during the Liturgy of the Word, proclaiming God’s Word to His people so that, strengthened by the words of Holy Scripture, they might come to a deeper love of God and a fuller Christian life.”

But in an even more shocking turn of events, Beth Moore’s church has now invited a Muslim Imam to come deliver a sermon and offer a prayer of worship in front of the church. This Imam came and took the pulpit—literally stood in the pulpit of this church where the pastor is supposed to proclaim the words of God—and instead stood there and profaned the Words of God and preached blasphemies from the Koran.

Is there room for discussion with Muslims and people of other religions as the pastor of this church claims? Of course. The Scriptures compel us to preach the unwavering, convicting truth and call the lost to repentance and faith. It does not, under any circumstances, call us to allow blasphemers to stand in our pulpits and address our congregations. This is spiritual malpractice at its worst.

President Biden went after former President Trump while touting his own accomplishments during the annual tri-state Labor Day parade in Philadelphia.

On Monday, Biden said this year they’re celebrating paying jobs and unions. He sought to take credit for creating 13.5 million jobs since he stepped into the Oval Office.

“You wouldn’t know from all the negative news you hear,” Biden said. “What we’re getting through is one of the greatest job creation periods in American history. For real, that’s a fact.”

Biden then took aim at his predecessor, linking Donald Trump to 31st President Herbert Hoover, who held office during the onset of the Great Depression.

“He was one of two Presidents who left office with fewer jobs in America than when he got elected,” he continued. “By the way you know who the other one was? Herbert Hoover. Ain’t that kind of coincidental.”

Biden claimed all of the jobs lost during the pandemic have recovered, and that employment and inflation is down.

Meanwhile, according to a June report from the House Budget Committee, nearly 72% of all job gains since Biden’s 2021 inauguration were not new job creation, but simply jobs that were being recovered from the coronavirus pandemic.

“When the last guy was here we were shipping jobs to China, now we’re bringing jobs home from China,” Biden said. “When the last guy was here your pensions were at risk, we helped save millions of pensions with your help.”

The president touted Bidenomics as a “blue-collar blueprint for America” and denigrated Trump’s infrastructure efforts.

“Can you believe we used to have the best infrastructure in the world?” Biden said. “And then we fell to number 13 in the world… the United States of America 13th in the world, but guess what? Guess what? The great real estate builder, the last guy, he didn’t build a damn thing.”

Biden said that for Trump, Infrastructure Week became a punchline, but for him, it’s a headline.

The Democrat’s claims did not go unnoticed by Trump’s campaign.

“President Trump produced a booming economic recovery, and record low unemployment for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans and women,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said. “Joe Biden is the destroyer of America’s jobs and continues to fuel runaway inflation with reckless big government spending. President Trump’s vision for America’s economic revival is lower taxes, bigger paychecks and more jobs for American workers.”

Voters have shown concern over the 80-year-old president’s age after a recent poll from the Associated Press showed 77% of respondents saying Biden is too old to serve.

The president said on Monday, the only thing that comes with age is a little bit of wisdom.

Biden’s claims come as the 2024 presidential campaign could end up being a referendum on how Americans feel about his ability to serve a second term, as well as his handling of the economy.

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

A federal appeals court overturned a prior judgment on Friday, enabling a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lawsuit involving its campaign against the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19 to proceed.

In a lawsuit filed against the FDA last year, three different doctors asserted that the agency had overstepped its boundaries in its anti-ivermectin campaign, “acting more like a medical body than a regulator.”

A district judge had originally ruled that the lawsuit could not proceed, but in a Friday decision, the 5th Circuit Appeals judge gave the physicians new hope by remanding the matter to a lower court for reconsideration.

“FDA is not a physician. It has authority to inform, announce, and apprise — but not to endorse, denounce, or advise,” said Judge Don Willett. “The Doctors have plausibly alleged that FDA’s Posts fell on the wrong side of the line between telling about and telling to.”

Ivermectin is an anti-parasite drug that is frequently prescribed to horses but also occasionally prescribed to people as well. The FDA’s campaign, which featured viral posters stating “You are not a horse,” underscored the agency’s warnings that it should not be used to treat the COVID-19 virus.

“Although [the] FDA has approved ivermectin for certain uses in humans and animals, it has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19, nor has the agency stated that it is safe or effective for that use,” the agency’s recommendations stated.

While a handful of people were reportedly hospitalized and some even died from the drug, which occurs if one takes ivermectin in addition to certain other medications, many groups still welcomed it as a miracle cure and claimed to receive beneficial results for their health.

However, In 2021, a review of 14 studies on the use of ivermectin concluded that there was insufficient evidence to justify its usage, adding that “few [of the studies] are considered high quality.”

Yet, “It must be acknowledged that some of these studies were possibly intentionally designed to yield predetermined findings,” researchers maintained.

Besides COVID-19, there have also been reports from those suffering from autoimmune disorders who claim that ivermectin helped combat their negative symptoms and that they have been taking the anti-parasite drug for years.

The National Institutes of Health and the World Health Organization are two organizations that have consistently advised against using ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

The anti-ivermectin FDA campaign, according to the three doctors, damaged their doctoral reputations since they had previously encouraged the use of the drug. One doctor was expelled from medical school, and another was even suspended from working at a hospital.

“This case has broad implications for protecting the practice of medicine from unlawful interference by the FDA,” the doctors’ attorney, Jared Kelson, said in a statement. “It’s about ensuring that federal agencies act only within their statutory authority. The FDA crossed a bright line here.”

One of the pro-liberty plaintiffs in the case, Mary Talley Bowen, praised the decision on Friday.

“A small win, or at least a step forward, in a monumental battle to protect the doctor-patient relationship from government tyranny… ONWARD!” Bowen said.
