Hizballah unveils powerful Russian-made anti-ship missiles as Iran proxies step up attacks on Israel and US

Iran’s proxy war against Israel and the U.S. is escalating. Iran’s most powerful proxy, Hizballah, has now warned of a regional war if Israel continues its action in Gaza, and has unveiled “powerful Russian anti-ship missiles” as a “threat against U.S. warships.” This week, despite American warnings not to escalate, Hizballah fired 20 rockets into Israel, “setting off sirens in the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights.” Hizballah is calling Iran’s proxies the “Axis of Resistance.

Meanwhile, at least 45 U.S. service members have reportedly been injured in attacks from Iran proxies, nineteen of them with traumatic brain injury. To Iran and its proxies, the exchange of fire with America and Israel is nothing less than jihad, while the West downplays the critical importance of this fact.

According to the doctrine of Mahdism, part of preparing for the reappearance of the 12th Imam is removing all obstacles and barriers to his return. Against this backdrop, Iran’s hardline clergy affiliated with the IRGC claim religious hadiths state that the “Jewish state will be destroyed before Mahdi’s arrival.” According to these accounts, which are legitimized through religious scripture, “Sh’ia Muslims will be on the side of the war against Jews” prior to the reappearance of Mahdi. As such, the collapse of
“Israeli regime and Zionist Jews” at the behest of “Iran and the Resistance Axis” will take place “prior to the emergence of Mahdi.”

The Mahdi is the Shias’ 12th Imam, aka the Hidden Imam.

Only a no-nonsense maneuver of deterrence could possibly keep Iran at bay. America’s longtime policy of appeasement under Obama and Biden is clearly ineffective.

“Hezbollah’s anti-ship missiles bolster its threat to US navy,” by Laila Bassam and Tom Perry, Reuters, November 8, 2023:

BEIRUT, Nov 8 (Reuters) – Powerful Russian anti-ship missiles acquired by Hezbollah give it the means to deliver on its leader’s veiled threat against U.S. warships and underline the grave risks of any regional war, sources familiar with the group’s arsenal say.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned Washington last week his group had something in store for the U.S. vessels deployed to the region since war erupted last month between the Palestinian group Hamas and Israel, shaking the wider Middle East.

Two sources in Lebanon familiar with the Iran-backed group’s arsenal say he was referring to Hezbollah’s greatly enhanced anti-ship missile capabilities, including the Russian-made Yakhont missile with a range of 300 km (186 miles).

Reports by media and analysts have for years indicated that Hezbollah acquired Yakhont missiles in Syria after deploying there more than a decade ago to help President Bashar al-Assad fight a civil war….

Washington says its Mediterranean naval deployment – comprising two aircraft carriers and their supporting ships – aims to prevent the conflict from spreading by deterring Iran, which backs groups including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad….

Nasrallah said in a speech on Friday that the U.S. warships in the Mediterranean “do not scare us, and will not scare us”.

“We have prepared for the fleets with which you threaten us,” he said….

Revolt Brewing in White House Over U.S. Policy Toward Israel

AP Photo/Doaa AlBaz
It's no secret that many younger members of the Biden administration are not happy with the president's policy of demonstrating strong support for Israel. Dozens of State Department members signed a "dissent cable" taking issue with the president's decided tilt in favor of the Israelis.

Now, there's a growing revolt in the White House as many junior aides are griping about the pro-Israel bias of the president.

“It has created great moral anxiety,” said one senior administration official. “But no one can say it because we all work at the pleasure of the president and he’s all in.”

There was fierce opposition from the Agency for International Development when an open letter signed by hundreds of USAID staffers urging the administration to call for a ceasefire was made public.

“For USAID efforts to be effective and for lives to be saved, we need an immediate ceasefire and cessation of hostilities,” the letter states. “We believe that further catastrophic loss of human life can only be avoided if the United States Government calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of Israeli hostages, and the restoration of water, food, fuel, and electricity to the people of Gaza by the State of Israel.”

Sickening moral posturing. Hamas is not going to let the hostages go in exchange for a ceasefire. These well-meaning, naïve fools have no clue what they're dealing with in Hamas.

The first cracks in the alliance emerged this week as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated that the Israeli Defense Force would be in charge of security in Gaza for an unspecified length of time after the war is over. Both Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken rejected any move by Israel to "re-occupy" Gaza.

But that's not the major complaint. Either senior administration officials were unaware of the difficulties Israel was going to have in rooting out Hamas terrorists from their hiding places behind civilians or they were unprepared for the fierce backlash by the international community.

CNN:

Although US officials have said the Israeli government has been refining its offensive, frustration inside the Biden administration has only been growing as Israel has in different ways rebuffed US calls for the Israel Defense Forces to make painstaking efforts to limit civilian deaths, enact humanitarian pauses, stem growing violence in the West Bank and make long-term plans for Gaza. That reality is deepening Washington’s bind as it works to support its ally while also containing growing international backlash.

In conversations with their Israeli counterparts at different levels, Biden administration officials have been stepping up calls for Israel to scale back its relentless aerial bombardment of Gaza, which has claimed the lives of thousands of Palestinians, people familiar with the conversations said.

“They’re being told that they need to change course here,” one source said. “To pull back, to stop the bombing and engage in a more surgical, precise counterterrorism operation.”

"Surgical"? Pray tell, how do you "surgically" eliminate Hamas? And if Israel isn't going to eliminate Hamas, why bother to go to war?

This is a war of annihilation. If these well-meaning but timid folks think that Hamas should survive as a fighting force, let them publicly state that goal. In the end, this is an either/or question, a yes or no answer. There's no "middle ground." There's no "negotiations." The only acceptable outcome for Israel is Hamas's destruction. Otherwise, October 7 will endlessly repeat. This is Hamas's stated goal: create a state of "permanent war" with Israel.

Times of Israel:

The goal of Hamas’s October 7 massacres in southern Israel was to “change the entire equation,” bring permanent war to Israel’s borders and renew attention to the Palestinian cause, a senior member of the terror group’s politburo in Qatar said.

“What could change the equation was a great act, and without a doubt, it was known that the reaction to this great act would be big,” Khalil al-Hayya told The New York Times in an interview published Wednesday. “We had to tell people that the Palestinian cause would not die.”

The "moral uneasiness" of White House and State Department aides is useless. There is a higher morality that the Israelis are listening to the salvation of the state of Israel and the Jewish people.

Biden Regime Pushes for a Three-Day ‘Pause’ Proposed by Hamas

The Biden administration is playing into the hands of Islamic terrorists.

Israel has pushed deep into Gaza. It has mobilized large numbers of troops is taking out top Hamas leaders and is on the verge of a full push into Gaza City that would finish Hamas.

And the Biden administration is pushing a demand straight from a demand by Hamas and its state sponsor, the Islamic terrorist state of Qatar.

President Joe Biden confirmed on Tuesday that he asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a pause in the fighting in Gaza.

“I asked Prime Minister Netanyahu for a pause in the fighting in Gaza in a call on Monday,” Biden said, as quoted by Reuters.

Biden’s comments came hours after Barak Ravid of Axios reported that Biden urged Netanyahu in their call on Monday to agree to a three-day pause in the fighting to allow progress in releasing some of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

According to a proposal that is being discussed between the US, Israel and Qatar, Hamas would release 10-15 hostages and use the three-day pause to verify the identities of all the hostages and deliver a list of names of the people it is holding, a US official told Ravid.

Remember when Hamas was claiming that it would release all the hostages in exchange for a 24-hour pause?

Hamas doesn’t need a three-day pause to verify the identities of the hostages. It’s had them for a month now.

Netanyahu has offered a pause in exchange for the release of all the hostages. Hamas won’t do that. And any list it produces is likely to be worthless. Islamic terrorists have a history of trying to claim ransom for dead bodies. It’s unknown how many of the hostages are actually alive. But if Hamas wants to verify all that, it can let the Red Cross (the actual one, not the Red Crescent which is just Hamas in a different color uniform) get access to them.

If there’s any lesson to be learned from Oct 7, it’s that Islamic terrorists lie. They attack under ceasefires, make false promises, and do anything they can to kill their victims.

The Israeli official told Axios that part of Netanyahu’s reservation is because Hamas attacked a group of Israeli soldiers, kidnapped one of them, and killed several others during a humanitarian pause during the 2014 Operation Protective Edge.

The Biden administration tried to rebrand the “humanitarian pause” as a “tactical pause”. Big mistake. This is a ground operation. Unlike air strikes, you’ve got soldiers in the middle of a battlefield. You can’t just hit the pause button. It’s one thing to have the WWI Christmas snowball fight, but we’re dealing here with monsters who cannot be trusted.

Why does Hamas keep demanding a pause and why do its supporters rally for a ceasefire?

Hamas has been hit hard, it needs to reposition, get some of its leaders out, move resources around, and launch new attacks. Israel’s approach has been to keep hammering it, to move quickly, be agile, and force it to react.

The Islamic terror group would like to stop reacting and take some kind of initiative.

That is what the ‘pause’ or the ‘ceasefire’ is for. It would be disastrous to agree to it.

The spectacular deal presented by Hamas and the Al-Thanis of Qatar is that it might release as many as 15 hostages in exchange for Israel allowing it to take the tactical initiative. Instead of Israel ending it and freeing the surviving hostages.

There’s nothing surprising about the actions of Hamas and Qatar here, but the Biden administration is playing into the hands of Islamic terrorists by pushing this offer.

Biden Thinks an Israeli Reoccupation of Gaza Would ‘Not Be Good’

AP Photo/Adel Hana
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that the IDF would be responsible for security in Gaza after the war. He told ABC News on Monday that Gaza should be governed by “those who don’t want to continue the way of Hamas” before adding, “I think Israel will, for an indefinite period, have the overall security responsibility because we’ve seen what happens when we don’t have it.”

Indeed, the goal of the current offensive in Gaza is the elimination of the Hamas threat to the Israeli people. There will be no repeat of October 7 and to see to that, the IDF will be stationed in Gaza to make sure Hamas will never rise again.

Admittedly, this kind of talk makes Israel's Western allies and many Arab states in the Middle East nervous. And it drew a sharp warning from U.S. President Joe Biden, who knows that an Israeli occupation of Gaza would complicate peace with nations like Saudi Arabia.

“The president still believes that a reoccupation of Gaza by Israeli forces is not good. It’s not good for Israel; not good for the Israeli people,” said National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on “CNN This Morning.”

“One of the conversations that Secretary (Antony) Blinken has been having in the region is what does post-conflict Gaza look like? What does governance look like in Gaza? Because whatever it is it can’t be what it was on October 6. It can’t be Hamas,” he added.

Even states that don't like Israel have to be realistic and understand that Blinken is right. Just like the world couldn't go back to the way things were on September 10, 2001, so too, the world can never return to a state that tolerates or even accepts Hamas.

CNN:

In an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” last month, Biden said it would be a “big mistake” for Israel to occupy Gaza. At the time, Michael Herzog, the Israeli ambassador to the United States, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that Israel does not intend to occupy Gaza after the conflict ends.

There have been other sharp gaps between the US and Israel emerging in recent weeks as the war continues. Blinken last week pushed the Israelis for a “humanitarian pause” to allow hostages and civilians to leave Gaza and for aid for Palestinians to enter, but was rebuked by Netanyahu.

And despite Blinken’s forceful public missive that “civilians should not suffer the consequences for (Hamas’) inhumanity and its brutality,” Israeli forces continued to strike civilian sites in the wake of the top US diplomat’s visit. The forces claimed that the sites were being used by Hamas.

Israel's Catch-22 is not hard to understand — unless you're Antony Blinken or Joe Biden. Israel must destroy Hamas. Even Biden agrees with that. But to destroy Hamas, Israel must attack the hiding places of Hamas. History has shown that Hamas hide in hospitals, they hide in mosques, and they hide weapons in schools. They do this to create the conditions that Israel must either kill civilians to get at Hamas or allow Hamas to survive.

The entire world pretends not to understand this simple statement of fact: The only way that Israel doesn't kill any civilians is if they give up and allow Hamas to destroy Israel and murder the Jews. Yes, but at least no civilians will die.

Put aside the moral posturing from moral pygmies and what you're left with is Israel doing what is necessary to survive. It doesn't get any more fundamental than that.

Senators to introduce legislation threatening to strike Iran if it expands conflict In Middle East

The jihad against the State of Israel does not stop with Israel. The phrase “First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people” indicates what jihad will follow. The explicit goal of Islam is a global caliphate. Israel stands as the one tiny non-Muslim nation in the Middle East and has been fighting for its existence since its founding for precisely that reason.

Open-door immigration policies have enabled a vast flood of Sharia-adherent immigrants and even jihadists to enter America and other Western countries at will. History has proven that when Muslim populations rise, so do the numbers of Sharia-adherent believers. Iran is the world’s chief Shia nation, the biggest threat to Israel, and is also a big threat to America. Should the Iran-backed war on ISIS-like Hamas escalate to include Hizballah, it will be catastrophic for Israel, as well as for American interests. Deterrence of Iran is as important as the war on Hamas.

“Senators To Introduce Resolution Threatening To Strike Iran If It Expands Conflict In Middle East,” by Nicole Silverio, Daily Caller, November 5, 2023:

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut are set to introduce legislation threatening to strike Iran if the country expands the conflict in the Middle East.

The two senators are backing the non-binding resolution as the Iranian-backed militia group Hezbollah has raised tensions on the Israel border in Lebanon and attacked U.S. forces in Syria and Iraq. The Pentagon recently sent 900 additional troops to the Middle East to combat the Iran-backed militia attacks on U.S. forces.

“Israel is begging us to deter Iran, they don’t want the war to widen,” Graham said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday. “If any of our troops are killed in Syria or Iraq by Iranian-backed militias, I think that’s an expansion of the war. So the resolution puts Iran on notice that all this military force in the region will be coming after you if you expand this war by activating Hezbollah or killing an American through your proxies in Syria or Iraq and they need to hear that, they need to believe that.”

“It’s aggressive, but it’s absolutely necessary,” Blumenthal added. “And it’s not only in Israel’s explicit interest, they will support this deterrence and the key word here is deterrence. The purpose of the resolution is to deter Iran. By showing, we’re gonna be behind the president as he seeks to stop the war from widening or escalating.”…

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps top dog: Oct. 7 massacre was ‘greatest success of the Islamic world’

“The Islamic world.” Not “Palestine.” Not “Gaza.” Not even “the Arab world.” Islam is central to understanding this conflict, yet all the mainstream analysts in the Western world, without exception, ignore it and pretend it plays no role in the conflict whatsoever.

“October 7 was ‘greatest success’ of the Islamic world – Iranian IRGC official,” Jerusalem Post, November 4, 2023:

The October 7 invasion and massacre of Israelis by Hamas is “the greatest success of the Islamic world,” Sardar Abolfazl Shekarchi, Iran’s deputy for culture and defense propaganda of the General Staff of the IRGC, said in celebration of the massacre, as per the Iranian state-owned Tasnim news agency.

The October 7 attack took the lives of 1,400 Israelis, including children and civilians.

Shekarchi’s statement read: “The greatest success of the Islamic world after the Al-Aqsa storm operation is the consensus of the nations of the world against the oppressive and bloodthirsty Zionist regime.” Hamas refers to the October 7 attack at the “Al-Aqsa storm.”

“Standing up against global arrogance is one of the greatest achievements of the Islamic Revolution, which has been gifted to the oppressed…of the world,” he continued.

“After the heroic, successful, victorious, and pride-breaking operation against Israel, most of the NATO member countries support Israel and their oppression of the oppressed people of Gaza has become more and more visible.”…

Gaza: ‘Palestinians’ scream ‘Allahu akbar’ as they watch footage of Hamas destroying Israeli military vehicles

Wait, what? The “Palestinians” are watching movies? But…but…the New York Times AP and CNN told me that they were starving and had neither food, water, nor electricity to project images of Hamas destroying military vehicles. They couldn’t have been lying to me, could they? Inconceivable!

“Palestinians Gather Outside Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital To Watch Screening Of Footage Of Hamas Destroying Israeli Military Vehicles,” MEMRI, November 4, 2023:

On November 4, 2023, Gaza Now on Telegram uploaded a video of what it described was a screening outside of the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza of footage of Hamas’s Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam destroying Israeli military vehicles. The large crowd cheered and shouted: “Allah Akbar!” during the screening.

Biden Regime Warns Israel Has Limited Time Before It Pulls Support

Netanyahu: No ‘Pause,’ No Ceasefire, No Fuel For Gaza Unless Hostages Released

AP Photo/Evan Vucci
"We won't stop until victory," said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a short, televised address on Friday. He told the Israeli people that he had rejected U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's suggestion of a humanitarian "pause" in the fighting that does not include a release of their hostages. He also says Israel “will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza.”

He promised that victory would be “sharp and clear” and would “resonate for generations.”

For the first time since the war began, we can see daylight between the U.S. and Israeli governments. As Israel continues to prosecute a war that, by necessity, is leading to a high civilian death toll, Israel's friends find it more and more difficult to give the Jewish state unqualified support.

I'm pretty sure Netanyahu was aware of this going into the war. It doesn't appear that anything the United States says or does will deter him from achieving his number one war aim: destroying Hamas so they can never threaten to security of the Israeli people again.

Times of Israel:

He says he told Blinken that “Israel refuses a temporary ceasefire that does not include the release of our hostages. Israel will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza and opposes sending money to the Strip.”

He notes that Israel has lost hundreds of civilians and soldiers on and since October 7 — wonderful fighters, incredible Israelis… people who blocked these monsters with their bodies.”

He tells some of their stories and says they “sacrificed their lives for our lives.”

“We are trying to fight with minimal danger to our warriors, but we will do whatever is needed to defeat our enemies,” he concludes.

Indeed, the call for a "humanitarian pause" would only give Hamas time to regroup and dig in. And a pause would definitely do no favors for the Israeli and foreign hostages being held in Gaza. Netanyahu has no choice. All he has for leverage regarding the hostages is Israel's ability to make life absolutely miserable for Gazans.

Hamas, of course, is doing fine. It's the Gazans who are suffering and even if public opinion turned against Hamas -- a remote possibility -- the terrorists wouldn't care. They're not at war to save the Palestinians or create a homeland for them. They are fighting a holy war to destroy Israel.

Hamas certainly doesn't care about a "pause" except how they can use it to better their strategic position.

Wall Street Journal:

As Israeli forces have advanced, quickly encircling Gaza City and bearing down on tunnel networks and strongholds, Hamas would like nothing more than to slow them down.

It strains credibility to think Hamas wouldn’t use a pause to its advantage. Nor is Hamas likely to release all hostages and forfeit its best leverage. It may drag out negotiations, dribbling out hostages to win reprieve after reprieve, plus propaganda bumps.

The way to help Palestinian civilians isn’t to slow the Israeli advance. The less control Hamas has over Gaza’s streets, the more civilians can escape the fighting and the more aid can be brought in securely. The ground invasion has already allowed humanitarian assistance to ramp up, with more than 100 truckloads now arriving each day. Hamas would use freedom of action to keep civilians as shields and pilfer more aid—limiting what Israel can let in.

The fate of the hostages may be uncertain but they are possibly Hamas's last, most potent weapon. As their infrastructure and fighters are being systematically eliminated, Hamas's only hope for survival is the intercession of others — the United States in particular — who could use its influence to stop Israel short of their primary war aim of destroying Hamas.

At the moment, Biden is still — reluctantly — on board. But Biden is in a campaign for re-election and anything is possible if American public opinion changes.

Hamas-Linked CAIR Tells Biden to Fight ‘Islamophobia’ by Ending Israeli Campaign Against Hamas~BIDEN CONFRONTED WITH “ABANDON BIDEN” PROTEST

‘Islamophobia’ is just a lie told to protect Islamic terrorists.

Just in case you were wondering whether the entire ‘Islamophobia’ hoax being ramped up was about anything except supporting Hamas, CAIR, which has its own history with Hamas, would like to clarify that yes, it’s about Hamas.

“The first and most important step President Biden must take to combat surging Islamophobia is the step that American Muslim leaders and organizations have repeatedly called on him to take: demand a ceasefire in Gaza,” CAIR Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell claimed.

“The development of a national strategy to combat anti-Muslim bigotry is an important step that can make a positive impact if it involves an inclusive process with all stakeholders in the American Muslim community and tackles institutional Islamophobia within the government, such as the watchlist. But first and foremost, we need a ceasefire. The American Muslim community will accept nothing less.”

There’s no ‘Islamophobia.’ If the issue were attacks or harassment of Muslims, that would be the priority. Instead, it takes a backseat to protecting Hamas.

When your entire ‘Islamophobia’ program can be reduced to protecting Islamic terrorists from their victims, it’s all too abundantly obvious that the whole thing is just a strategy of playing the victim in order to enable Islamic terrorism.

CAIR is saying the quiet part out loud, that the ‘Islamophobia’ hoax exists to be put at the service of Hamas. Much as it was previously put at the service of Al Qaeda.

There’s no Islamophobia, only Islamic terrorism. ‘Islamophobia’ is just a lie told to protect Islamic terrorists.

Groups such as CAIR would denounce such comments as ‘Islamophobic,’ but they’re the ones making them.

Minnesota: Muslim leaders including Hamas-linked CAIR chief greet Biden with ‘Abandon Biden’ protest

The chickens are coming home to roost for Biden as he tries to balance support from both the Jewish Left lobby and Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic groups. He made a pact with the Muslim Brotherhood-linked group Emgage during the 2020 election: he would get their support in return for appointing Muslims at all levels of his administration. More recently, he held a private meeting in the White House with highly questionable Muslim leaders in order to continue appeasing the Muslim community, who are now calling for a Gaza ceasefire while Biden has expressed support for Israel; see HERE.

Biden is now losing his unsavory friends fast.

Already, the National Muslim Democratic Council, a nationwide group of Democratic leaders and activists, has threatened Biden that if he does not force Israel to reach a ceasefire with Hamas, a U.S. State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization, they will withdraw their support from him. But how is Biden supposed to “force” the sovereign state of Israel to stop defending its country and citizens?

The Islamic supremacist lobby is enraged over the fact that Biden used them for votes, as leaders habitually do, particularly on the Left. The Red-Green axis is merely a partnership of convenience.

But it isn’t only Biden that is now between a rock and a hard place. Is the Muslim lobby, since it is not getting the full obedience it demands from Biden, going to follow through on its threat? Whom will it endorse? They certainly won’t be voting Republican.

“As he visits Minnesota, local Muslim leaders say they will ‘abandon Biden,'” by Alex Seitz-Wald, Julia Jester, and Gabe Gutierrez, NBC, November 1, 2023:

MINNEAPOLIS — President Joe Biden was met with protests organized by local Muslim leaders when he arrived in Minneapolis on Wednesday for a series of events, the latest sign that Muslim American voters may turn against the president after having supported him in 2020.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the country’s largest Muslim advocacy group, organized three separate protests at various locations Biden visited Wednesday, including the airport, a farm in rural Northfield, and downtown Minneapolis.

It is pushing for a cease-fire in Gaza, where the Israeli military — with U.S. support — has been ramping up attacks against Hamas militants, causing a growing number of Palestinian civilian deaths in collateral damage. It says Biden is losing its support by not doing more to rein in Israel in Gaza or combat Islamophobia at home.

“We are going to abandon Biden because he has abandoned us,” Jaylani Hussein, the executive director of CAIR Minnesota, told NBC News hours after he stood next to “Abandon Biden” signs at a news conference, though he said he was speaking in his personal capacity since CAIR’s non-profit tax status bars it from electioneering.

“I don’t think that this is a rash emotional decision by the American Muslim community. It is a foregone conclusion. … The anger is not going to go away. We don’t have short memories,” Hussein added. “I still have not heard from any Muslim leader in Minnesota who has said this is a mistake.”….

Pro-Palestine Protesters Block Military Supply Ship Leaving Port of Oakland

A U.S. military supply ship was prevented from departing from the Port of Oakland on Friday due to pro-Palestine protesters tying themselves to the vessel and calling for an end to the Israeli-Hamas conflict in Gaza.

Additionally, the furious protesters obstructed access to Berth 20, which is home to the container ship Cape Orlando.

According to protest organizations, the ship was loaded in Tacoma, Washington, with military hardware and weapons that were headed for Israel.

The Arab Resource Organizing Center, which is based in San Francisco, reportedly coordinated the protest.

“It’s incumbent on all of us as taxpayers to demand more and to stop U.S. aid to Israel as long as the violence continues,” said Lara Kiswani, the organizer and executive director of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center.

Around 200 people were demonstrating, and many of them were holding banners calling for an end to U.S. military assistance to Israel while carrying Palestinian flags.

Police were also present at the scene.

A representative for the Port of Oakland refrained from condemning the protesters and instead said that since the demonstration started at 6:45 a.m., it has not interfered with any other cargo handling operations.

In order to make sure the protests were peaceful, Oakland Police informed KPIX that they were monitoring the rally and working with the Port of Oakland and the U.S. Coast Guard.

As of Friday at 4:33 p.m. PST, no one has been arrested.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

New York Times Provides Hamas with Information on IDF Positions in Gaza

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/11/new-york-times-provides-hamas-with-information-on-idf-positions-in-gaza;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

The New York Times has been publishing maps of Gaza, based on satellite imagery, that provide information on IDF positions in the northern part of the Strip, including the location of large numbers of tanks and armored vehicles, that are now making their way to encircle Gaza City. This is information that Hamas did not possess, but now it does. Thanks to the New York Times, Hamas is no longer eyeless in Gaza. Elder of Ziyon charges the Times with providing aid to a recognized terrorist group. His analysis can be found here: “New York Times is providing Hamas with intelligence. How is this not a violation of US law against aiding terror organizations?,” Elder of Ziyon, October 30, 2023:

Every day, the New York Times writes exactly what Israel is doing in this war. Today, for example:

Israel has provided limited details about the invasion, four days into what an Israeli official described as an “extended ground operation.” But imagery verified by The Times indicates large groups of tanks and other armored vehicles making their way deep into Gaza, as Israel’s military has continued to strike nearby buildings from the air.

In northwest Gaza, a satellite image taken on Monday morning by Planet Labs shows large groups of armored vehicles advancing about three miles south of the northern border near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea….

Photographs also show a second group of armored vehicles near the city of Beit Hanoun, on the northeast edge of the Gaza Strip. Beit Hanoun had already been significantly damaged by airstrikes in the past several weeks….

This is the New York Times providing intelligence to Hamas, using satellite photos and other information sources that Hamas doesn’t have access to. Planet Labs, as far as I know, only provides paid services, and it would not be allowed to provide services to Hamas directly, so why can the New York Times buy and publish the same information where Hamas can read it?…

The only people it helps are the terrorists.

And now it is publishing information on exactly where in Gaza the Israeli troops are.

I’m no lawyer, but it sounds like a violation of 18 USC 2339BProviding material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations…

Will the Department of Justice now open an investigation into the New York Times, and how it has managed, through its publication of a detailed map of northern Gaza, to provide precise intelligence, mostly satellite imagery taken by Planet Labs, about the IDF positions in northwest Gaza, thereby helping a designated terrorist group, Hamas, in its war against our ally, the state of Israel? Hasn’t the mighty Times “knowingly provided material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization”? What possible justification can the Grey Lady offer for publishing such material? Does Hamas have a right to know exactly where the IDF’s tanks and armored vehicles are located, and where they are heading? Was that information, now easily accessed by the terrorist group, really to be included in “all the news that’s fit to print”?

Hamas Official: We Will Repeat the October 7 Atrocities Again and Again

AP Photo/Bebeto Matthews
"Israel is a country that has no place in our land," Hamas official Ghazi Hamad told the Middle East's LBC International news network on Tuesday. "We must remove that country."

"It constitutes a security, military, and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation and must be finished." Hamad added, completely unnecessarily after the attacks on Israeli civilians we all witnessed on the weekend of October 7, "We are not ashamed to say this, with full force."

Selections from LBC's interview with Hamad were translated and posted by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). I've been relying on their good work since shortly after 9/11/2001.

Here's the clip.

"We will do this again and again," Hamad said of the October terror invasion when Hamas murdered 1,400 Israeli civilians. "The Al-Aqsa flood is just the first time and there will be a second, a third, a fourth because we have the resolve and the capabilities to fight."

For now, anyway. The news from Gaza this week is that the IDF is being methodical in its destruction of Hamas both above and below ground.

Hamad implicitly recognized that point. "Will we have to pay a price?" he rhetorically asked. "Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs."

It wasn't clear from the clip MEMRI posted, but I presume that Hamad was speaking from the relative safety of Doha or Beirut. The skill and determination of Israel's Mossad is why Hamad's safety is only relative. It might take weeks, months, or years, but there is no doubt in my mind that Israeli intelligence officers will eliminate every Hamas official — whether they're hiding out in a well-stocked tunnel dug below a Gaza residential apartment building or enjoying the good life in a Qatar luxury suite

Try asking the ghost of Adolph Eichmann about that, Mr. Hamad. The notorious Nazi SS officer was kidnapped from Argentina by Israeli agents 15 years after World War II was won, given a fair trial, then hanged by the neck until dead.

SS-Obersturmbannführer Eichmann, for those who don't know, helped organize the 1942 Wannsee Conference where Nazi officials planned for the extermination of Europe's Jews. They managed to murder around half of them — something like six million souls — in various death camps before the end of the war. Hanging was better than Eichmann deserved, but then the Israelis weren't genocidal barbarians.

It's easy to imagine Hamad taking part in something similar to Wannsee after seeing this next exchange, which is both telling and chilling.

"The occupation must come to an end," Hamad insisted.

"Occupation where? In the Gaza strip?" the anchor asked.

"No, I am talking about all the Palestinian lands."

"Does that mean the annihilation of Israel?"

Hamad's answer followed without hesitation. "Yes. Of course."

"Nobody should blame us for the things we do."

The cute part was when Hamad said, "We did not want to harm civilians [on October 7] but there were complications on the ground." Cute, that is, if you like your terrorist apologists to turn all squishy for the TV cameras, trying to convince soft Westerners that when they say they want to destroy Israel and drive out all the Jews, they only want to murder most of them and maybe not all of them.

"There was a party in the area with [a civilian] population... it was a large area, across 40 kilometers," and these things happen, you know when disciplined, well-trained soldiers stumble across a rave and then accidentally murder, rape, and kidnap a bunch of young dancers before uploading videos of the atrocities to the victims' own social media accounts.

I had a cold kind of respect for Hamad when he was at least being honest about Hamas's genocidal intentions and murderous methods. To watch him make lame excuses like a seven-year-old was just pathetic.

Carthago delenda est, Rome's Cato the Elder said before the Third Punic War — "Carthage must be destroyed." The Second Punic War had nearly ended Rome. After the Hamas Terror Invasion on October 7, it is Hamas that must be destroyed — and high-ranking officials like Ghazi Hamad, wherever they might be found.

TURKEY: Erdogan at pro-Hamas rally-‘We can come at any night unexpectedly,’ crowd chants, ‘Turkish military to Gaza’

TURKEY-HAMAS Alliance Shocked Israel! Erdogan's Brutal Decision: "TURKEY IS READY FOR WAR"

An empty threat? Probably, but not necessarily. Erdogan has made no secret of his expansionist designs for years. Still, while the Turks may be eager to join the fight, the Arabs might not be so happy to see them. Memories of Turkish rule in the area are not pleasant.

Biden regime has sent over $1,000,000,000 to UN agency described as ‘effectively a branch of Hamas’

Which side are Old Joe and his henchmen really on? That’s obvious.

“Palestinian group accused of harboring terrorists received $1B from Biden admin: report,” by Edward Lawrence, Andrew Miller, and Lauren Shank, Fox Business, October 18, 2023:

FIRST ON FOX: The Biden administration has sent more than $1 billion in taxpayer dollars to a Palestinian relief organization that has previously been accused of providing safe harbor to terrorists in Gaza, drawing increased scrutiny amid Hamas’ attacks on Israel.

In a report exclusively obtained by FOX Business, watchdog OpenTheBooks.com found that the taxpayer money was sent to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), whose schools were accused in a recent report of being complicit in teaching children to hate Jewish people and praising terrorism.

Critics and watchdog groups also say UNRWA resources may help Hamas with recruitment and storage for weapons, along with other support.

According to the UNRWA’s website, the group works with Palestinians doing “human development and humanitarian services, encompass primary and vocational education, primary health care, relief, and social services, infrastructure and camp improvement, microfinance and emergency response, including in situations of armed conflict.”

However, U.N. Watch and IMPACT released a report in March, uncovering 100 pages of evidence that schools built and run by the UNRWA taught hate toward the Jewish people and glorified terrorism.

The UNRWA Islamic education exam asks students whether “Liberating the Al-Aqsa Mosque and making sacrifices for it is an obligation for all Muslims” is true or false. The exam cited the statement as true and noted that violence and martyrdom to free Al-Aqsa are obligations for Palestinians and “all Muslims.”

In 2014, the left-leaning New Republic described UNRWA as “effectively a branch of Hamas.”

UNRWA acknowledged in 2014, and condemned, Hamas missiles that were found at one of its schools in Gaza twice in one week….

Two Dozen US Soldiers Injured in Iran-Backed Attacks Last Week

The ayatollahs are getting impatient that their $6 billion check from Biden hasn’t arrived.

The ayatollahs are getting impatient that their $6 billion check hasn’t arrived in the mail. And they do like celebrating the 40th anniversary of their great triumph… the Marine Barracks bombing.

So they spent a little time trying to kill American soldiers. Again.

At least two-dozen American military personnel based in Iraq and Syria were injured in drone attacks last week that officials said were launched by Iran-backed proxy groups.

The largest attack carried out against a US base was on Oct. 18 when 20 troops suffered “minor injuries,” after numerous one-way drones targeted the al-Tanf Garrison in southeastern Syria, US military officials said, according to the Washington Post.

On the same day, multiple drones also targeted the US and its allies in two different attacks on Ain al-Asad Air Base in western Iraq that left four people with minor injuries, the Washington Post reported. Those injured also returned to duty.

A US citizen working as a contractor died the same day after he went into cardiac arrest during a shelter-in-place order at the base.

The Pentagon has said the groups behind the attacks are supported by Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

It’s natural to assume that this is a response to the current situation in the region, but the depressing thing is that it’s not even new.

The two elements that jump out at most people (1. Iran launching attacks on U.S. bases and (2. the White House not even mentioning it… have been around for quite a while.

Here’s my article on it from Jan 2022.

Two more terror drones targeted American forces deployed to fight ISIS at the Al Asad air base. The base has been repeatedly hammered by Iran-backed rocket attacks over the past year, most notably when 14 rockets struck the base over the summer causing several injuries.

There were repeated Iran-backed rocket strikes against Americans in Iraq throughout the last year totaling an estimated 25 separate attacks under the Biden administration.

On September 11, two drones launched an attack on U.S. forces at Erbil International Airport.

Then, as now, the Biden administration limited American military personnel to defensive preventative air strikes against the Shiite terror groups carrying out the attacks.

This was going on long before the current Hamas attack and the Israeli response. Or before we directed more forces to the region.

American soldiers have been killed and worse still, we’re funding their killers. And I don’t just mean with that $6 billion.

While some U.S. conflicts with Jihadists in the region are old news, Kataeb Hezbollah fired rockets at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad in 2019 and has bombed U.S. bases in recent years. Kataeb Hezbollah killed two American soldiers in 2020: Army Spc. Juan Miguel Mendez Covarrubias and Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts.

Politicians and the media have mostly ignored the fact that Americans are continuing to be killed in Iraq, that the Iraqi government is funding their killers, and that we’re funding Iraq.

While Iraq funds Iran’s terror militias, the United States funds the UN Development Programme to “stabilize” Iraq and has invested over $100 million into “conflict, peace and security” funding.

The United States has spent over $1 billion financing the nation’s military while Iraq spends billions financing the Iranian PMU terror militias which are expected to approach a quarter of a million Jihadis.

Did you hear any mention of Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts?

On March 14, 2020, Roberts lost his life when enemy fire engaged with his unit at Camp Taji. With rockets flying, Roberts and his friend took cover. They discussed running to a bunker but not without considering if they could make it to safety. Roberts told his fellow Airmen to go and get her body armor. As his friend left, a rocket landed, taking his life. In losing his own, Roberts saved another.

Her body armor.

Do we talk about any of this? No. And then suddenly we notice it and wonder what’s going on. Iran keeps attacking us and trying to kill us. And Biden keeps trying to cut a deal while warning against offending Iran.
