Northwestern Jew-Haters Protest a Committee to Combat Anti-Semitism~A university’s Brownshirts up the ante.

The anti-Israel, antisemitic Stormtroopers at Northwestern, their ranks consisting of both students and faculty, have been agitating, rioting, and screaming about what they see as the latest outrage by agents of the apartheid, settler-colonial, genocidal state of Israel, which is the decision of the college’s administration to appoint a committee on “preventing antisemitism and hate” on the campus. It’s about time such a committee was formed. The atmosphere at Northwestern is thick with antisemitic and anti-Israel hate; the behavior of these rioting students, and of their faculty collaborators, is hard to stomach. It puts me in mind of what was going on in German universities in the 1930s when all Jewish faculty were fired and Jewish students were harassed and expelled, as the Brownshirts ran riot. Here are the details of the Northwestern administration's response to the rise in on-campus antisemitism, and the fury it has provoked: “Northwestern University Students, Faculty Slam School for Forming Committee to Combat Antisemitism,” by Dion J. Pierre, Algemeiner, November 16, 2023:

Dozens of student groups at Northwestern University just outside Chicago on Thursday dismissed concerns of rising antisemitism amid the Israel-Hamas war as “mass hysteria and collective psychosis,” seemingly calling for the destruction of the Jewish state and joining faculty in castigating the school for forming a new panel to combat Jew-hatred on campus.

On Monday, Northwestern President Michael Schill announced the creation of a new committee “on preventing antisemitism and hate.”…

The school’s Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter has falsely accused Israel of apartheid, genocide, and “settler-colonialism” at its events and in its social media posts. The group also marched around campus earlier this month chanting, “Hey, Schill, what do you say, how many kids did you kill today?” In one incident — in which SJP has denied any involvement — an unknown group vandalized print copies of The Daily Northwestern, the campus newspaper, covering them in leaflets headlined, “Northwestern complicit in genocide of Palestinians.”

In Monday’s announcement, Schill disavowed such activity while noting specifically that chants of “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” are perceived by “significant parts of our community” as “promoting murder and genocide.” The popular slogan among pro-Palestinian activists has been widely interpreted as a call for the destruction of Israel, which is located between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

Nonetheless, in response to Schill’s announcement, 65 student organizations on Thursday signed an op-ed in The Daily Northwestern that was headlined, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

“Indeed we know there is a genocide happening, and it is happening to Palestinians by the Israeli apartheid government,” the article read. “Palestine has always served as a litmus test of our collective imagination of what freedom could look like. When we say from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free, we imagine a world free of Islamophobia, antisemitism, anti-Blackness, militarism, occupation, and apartheid. From the river to the seas, Palestine will be free. Until liberation.”

The op-ed dismissed efforts to combat the recent surge in antisemitic incidents on college campuses as “mass hysteria and collective psychosis,” arguing Schill is being “irresponsible” and “dangerous” by “denying genocide” and “mischaracterizing the mission of activists.”

The students also argued that “the destiny of all marginalized people — both in occupied Palestine and around the world — is intertwined. We believe in the liberation of all peoples from Chicago to Sudan to the Congo to Western Sahara to Palestine.”…

“Ah, yes! Let’s lump this highly complicated and charged conflict in with all of the bad things in this world and blame it on the Jews!” Northwestern University student Josh Miller tweeted in response to the column. “I cannot believe that this op-ed ran in The Daily Northwestern.”
The student groups did not mention or denounce the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7, when they invaded the Jewish state murdered over 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapped more than 240 others as hostages. The brutality of Hamas’ onslaught — which included rape, torture, and the beheading of babies — has shocked the world.
Also on Thursday, over 150 Northwestern faculty and staff signed a letter accusing Schill of undermining academic freedom and free expression, as well as jeopardizing the safety of “staff and faculty of color.” The letter went on to argue that Israel is committing “genocidal violence in Gaza,” despite the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) taking precautions to prevent civilian casualties….

How has President Schill “undermined academic freedom and free expression”? Apparently, by appointing a committee whose remit is to investigate ways to “prevent antisemitism and hate.” Are we to conclude that the 150 signatories of that letter do not want the university to create a committee to be engaged in such a laudable venture? Why? Could it be because those who falsely accuse the Jewish state of “genocidal violence in Gaza” know perfectly well that this is exactly the kind of “antisemitism and hate” that the new committee will be holding up for denunciation and punishment? And how does this committee in any way jeopardize the safety of “staff and faculty of color”? Or should we conclude that “people of color” are especially prone to “antisemitism and hate”?

Are you left speechless at this ghastly display of wild charges (“genocidal” Israel) and crazed hate at Northwestern? So am I.

NYC: Pro-Hamas protesters scream ‘Allahu akbar,’ pray in street outside Museum of Natural History

The inconvenience to drivers and passersby is the point. The prayer is the assertion of a presence, and of supremacy.

Pro-Palestinian Protesters Disrupt Macy’s Parade, Deface NY Public Library

Jeff Christensen
Por-Palestinian protesters jumped the barricades at Sixth Avenue during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and ran into the street. They glued their hands to the pavement, chanting "No more nickels, not another dime, no more money for Israel's crimes."

They can't do any better than that? Iambic pentameter, it's not. Nor is it very clever. Also, the rhyme is forced and doesn't flow at all.

In fact, this is a miserable excuse for protest chanting. They need to take some lessons from the Vietnam-era protesters; the hippies, the yippies, the SDS, and, of course, the Weathermen. "Hell no, we won't go" and "Hey! Hey! LBJ! How Many kids did you kill today" outshines anything these pro-terrorist kids can come up with.

One banner, when unfurled, read, "Liberation for Palestine and Planet" which conveniently promoted two wildly unrelated causes; end to fissile fuels and freedom for Palestine.

Fox News:

The protesters wore white jumpsuits, doused themselves with red liquid and glued their hands to the street to try to disrupt the parade. The crowd lining the sidewalk could be heard drowning out the chants with boos.

NYPD officers were seen removing the protesters from the street and taking them away from the scene so that the parade could continue.

On another part of the parade route, protesters waving Palestinian flags and holding pro-Palestinian signs were singing a variety of chants, including "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

Some chanted, "There is only one solution, intifada revolution," while others called for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war.

This woman has the right idea.

Even Native Americans got in the act. The float from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe was passing Macy's flagship store when a young man raised a small Palestinian flag over his head. No fair piggybacking your protest on that of the Palestinians.

Another group of protesters spray-painted the words "Free Palestine" on the pillars of the front of the New York Public Library and spray-painted bloody handprints on the base of the building as well.

The library didn't think much of the "protest."

"The New York Public Library is a public institution with a mission to provide free access to knowledge for all. We strongly support the right to protest. Unfortunately today, individuals involved in a protest vandalized the Library's flagship Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, a space devoted to the open exchange of ideas and intellectual debate. This comes at a time when the city's libraries are facing steep budget cuts that have left us unable to maintain our current levels of service, and this vandalism will be costly to repair. We do not anticipate any unplanned closures due to this, and remain committed to providing the resources we know so many people rely on," the library said in a statement.

I'm afraid any plea for understanding fell on deaf ears.

Authorities have clashed with protestors demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas-Gaza conflict outside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

On Wednesday, law enforcement arrested hundreds of protesters demanding a cease-fire in the Hamas-Israel war outside the DNC Washington headquarters.

According to authorities, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) and Representative Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) were among those inside the headquarters as the clash between protesters and police sparked.

United States Capitol Police said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that a “large group of illegal protesters…have cleared out, but USCP officers will stay on scene out of an abundance of caution.”

They previously put the number of demonstrators at about 150 and said they were “violently protesting in the area.”

Six officers were treated for injuries as a result of the demonstration, and one person was arrested and accused of assault on an officer, Capitol Police said on X.

According to Capitol Police, all lawmakers were evacuated from the location for their protection.

IfNotNow, an organization that bills itself as “American Jews organizing our community to end U.S. support for Israel’s apartheid system,” stated it was present at the rally and accused officers of being harsh toward protestors.

IfNotNow spokesperson Eva Borgwardt released a statement saying the protest was “nonviolent” and a “moral act of civil disobedience to call on Democrats to support a cease-fire and an end to our government’s funding of violence against Palestinian civilians by Netanyahu’s far-right government.”

Representative Sean Casten (D-Ill.), posted on X that he was “rescued” from the DNC building by “armed officers” who “did not know the protestors’ intent; they knew only that Members of Congress were inside, could not leave and that protests would not let police through.”

Chaos at DNC HQ When Pro-Palestinian Rioters Attempt to Break In

Chaos erupted outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters Wednesday evening when pro-Palestinian protesters became violent as they called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.

U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) estimated that approximately 150 people were "illegally and violently protesting" near the DNC headquarters on Capitol Hill.

Six officers were injured during the melee, according to the USCP, with either minor cuts, pepper-spray burns, or being attacked by rioters.

CNN reports that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, House Minority Whip Katherine Clark, and Rep. Pete Aguilar were inside the building at the time of the riot, and had to be evacuated.

Around 150 officers and a minimum of 50 police cruisers from The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) were also on the scene. Videos of the chaos were shared on social media.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) reported that the situation was so bad that the Capitol went into lockdown.

The violent mob of pro-Palestinian rioters stands in contrast to the peaceful March for Israel that took place on the National Mall a day prior.

Ask yourself why.

Pro-Hamas Protestors Shut Down This Vital Bay Bridge

Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0
Hundreds of protestors shut down all westbound traffic on I-80 Thursday at a time that usually sees thousands of commuters heading from Oakland into San Francisco across five lanes of traffic. A California Highway Patrol incident report called the protest "peaceful for now," according to local KRON-4.

The Bay Bridge typically carries about 260,000 cars each weekday, so a rough estimate is that the morning westbound traffic should be roughly 100,000. As of sometime this morning, protestors reduced that number to zero.

As a former resident, I can tell you that seeing zero commuter traffic on the westbound lanes is one creepy sight — like something out of a zombie movie.

With Communist Chinese strongman Xi Jinping visiting San Francisco for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference, my first thought was that liberty-loving Bay Area residents must have taken to the streets to demonstrate their opposition to Communist oppression.

I'm kidding, of course. My first reaction — and yours, too, I'd wager — was, "I bet this is a pro-Hamas thing."

And sure enough: "Protesters shut down Bay Bridge's westbound lanes, calling for Gaza ceasefire."

Videos posted to social media showed demonstrators rallying with bullhorns, chanting slogans and waving large signs reading “stop genocide” and “no U.S. military aid to Israel,” facing a line of officers dressed in riot gear. Pro-Palestine protesters claimed responsibility for the shutdown in a post on Instagram, saying they were sending a message to President Joe Biden to demand a ceasefire in Gaza.

I'm sure there are those who believe that being pro-ceasefire is not the same thing as being pro-Hamas. But as George Orwell said during WWII, "Pacifism is objectively pro-Fascist." Anyone calling for a ceasefire, as opposed to brief "humanitarian pauses" to make room for refugees, is in favor of letting Hamas survive and commit more October 7 atrocities — which is exactly what it has promised to do.

I can't even begin to explain what closing the Bay Bridge is doing to local traffic, but, as mil blogger CDR Salamander quipped, the delays and frustration "couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of voters."

I'll leave you with this reminder from USAF vet and military analyst Patrick Fox:

The German-American Bund was a pro-Nazi organization founded in this country a few years before World War II. The group was tiny, maybe 25,000 members, and they smartly dissolved themselves after the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. It seems that even American Nazi sympathizers had some small sense of shame.

The same should have gone for our modern-day pro-terrorism groups — and maybe it will again, someday, if we start expelling their members as we're legally entitled to do.

Far-left Arabella Advisors funnels donor cash to groups organizing pro-Hamas protests across America

In regard to the trans madness and LGBTQ propaganda, we are inundated with everywhere, the Leftist/Islamic alliance is showing signs of strain. But when it comes to killing Jews, the two allies are closer than ever, like peas in a pod.

“Dem Dark Money ‘Arabella’ Group Has Funneled $10M To Pro-Hamas Protesters,” by William Upton, National Pulse, November 1, 2023:

Arabella Advisors, a progressive Washington, D.C.-based dark money operation, is using numerous non-profit organizations it controls to funnel left-wing donor cash to groups organizing pro-Hamas protests across America. The firm is at the center of a vast network of dark money groups which has now funneled over $10 million to anti-Israel causes over the past five years.

The funds have moved through Arabella-controlled non-profits like the New Venture Fund, the Sixteen Thirty Fund, the Hopewell Fund, and the North Fund. Some of the groups on the final receiving end have outwardly called for the destruction of the State of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish population living there. Reports suggest some of the Palestinian organizations funded by the same network may even have direct links to terrorist groups like Hamas.

Over $5 million in donations were directed to non-profit associated with hardline anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, who was even made to step down as a leader of the radical ‘Women’s March’ protest in 2019 over her open hostility to Jews and affiliation with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Even the far-left Anti-Defamation League has accused Sarsour of “fomenting” anti-Semitism….

Pro-Palestine Protesters Block Military Supply Ship Leaving Port of Oakland

A U.S. military supply ship was prevented from departing from the Port of Oakland on Friday due to pro-Palestine protesters tying themselves to the vessel and calling for an end to the Israeli-Hamas conflict in Gaza.

Additionally, the furious protesters obstructed access to Berth 20, which is home to the container ship Cape Orlando.

According to protest organizations, the ship was loaded in Tacoma, Washington, with military hardware and weapons that were headed for Israel.

The Arab Resource Organizing Center, which is based in San Francisco, reportedly coordinated the protest.

“It’s incumbent on all of us as taxpayers to demand more and to stop U.S. aid to Israel as long as the violence continues,” said Lara Kiswani, the organizer and executive director of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center.

Around 200 people were demonstrating, and many of them were holding banners calling for an end to U.S. military assistance to Israel while carrying Palestinian flags.

Police were also present at the scene.

A representative for the Port of Oakland refrained from condemning the protesters and instead said that since the demonstration started at 6:45 a.m., it has not interfered with any other cargo handling operations.

In order to make sure the protests were peaceful, Oakland Police informed KPIX that they were monitoring the rally and working with the Port of Oakland and the U.S. Coast Guard.

As of Friday at 4:33 p.m. PST, no one has been arrested.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
