Hamas Nazis’ Atrocities Against Israeli Women Met With Deafening Silence

Will the International Criminal Court prosecute for war crimes - or blame the victims?

Misogyny and cultural “norms” subjugating women are widespread in much of the Islamic world. These include female genital mutilation, forced marriages, persecuting women for not dressing according to strict Islamic standards, “honor killings,” and much more.

It’s no surprise then, but shocking and horrific nonetheless, that one “weapon” in Hamas’ inhuman massacre of over 1200 people in Israel on October 7, brutalizing thousands, and kidnapping more than 240, including young children and elderly women held hostage in Gaza, was the raping of Israeli women in the process.  Underscoring that these are not individual criminal acts but part of something widespread and deliberate, it’s been described as a sexual pogrom.

Adding insult to injury, groups and people that should be advocating for women’s rights and under any other circumstance would be calling out such criminal behavior, have turned a blind eye to the forensic evidence, eyewitness accounts, and confessions of Hamas terrorists as if the victims and sexual crimes didn’t matter just because they are Jews. The evidence is clear. Medical examiners have reported that some of the rapes were so violent that the women’s pelvises were crushed.

A growing chorus has condemned ignoring these crimes or even denying that they happened using the hashtag, “#Metoo_unless_UR_A_Jew.”

If the crimes happened to anyone else in the world, women’s groups, human rights organizations, the UN, and others would be decrying it. But the silence to these crimes that depict a depraved pattern of sexual violence used by the terrorists against their victims, is criminal in of itself.

If Hamas’ goal was to murder as many as possible, how did the terrorists allow themselves to stop for a gang rape? How is rape in any way part of any “resistance” that Hamas claims and the Islamic world celebrates?  How did those fighting for the “resistance” ever think this was acceptable? How could any one of the Islamic terrorists be aroused when inflicting such horrors, much less multiple gangs of them? The answer is simple. It was premeditated. It is inhuman evil Islam at its worst. It’s the marrying of worship of massacring Jews with the overall repression of women.  It’s a marriage made in hell.

This inhuman behavior does not stop at the borders of Gaza.  It is at the core of how the Iranian Islamic regime treats women, and which trickles down to other adherents of the “religion of peace.” This is documented widely, including in the book “A Love Journey With God” by my friend Marziyeh Amirizadeh. If not for public outcry after her arrest and death sentence for converting to Christianity in Iran, she’d likely have experienced much more of the suffering that many Iranian women who she knew in prison did, including the raping of virgins before they are executed as executing virgins goes against “Islamic values.”

The threat of raping Jewish women in support of Hamas’ inhuman behaviors also made it to the celebrated halls of Ivy League colleges. Last month, Patrick Dai, a junior at Cornell, was arrested on federal charges of posting threats to “kill or injure another using interstate communications.”

In public online posts, Dai threatened to “shoot up” a campus building targeting Jews, said he would “stab” or “slit the throat” of Jewish men, and rape or throw off a cliff Jewish women on campus.

Other than the threatening remarks being horrific enough, it’s impossible to imagine how anyone could allegedly advocate for the Palestinians in upstate New York by threatening to rape Jewish women. It’s obscene.

The raping of truth also comes from women who are charged with protecting women from sexual violence. The University of Alberta fired Samantha Pearson the head of the campus sexual assault center who signed an open letter denying Hamas terrorists raped women during the October 7 massacre. The letter censured Israel for repeating “the unverified accusation that Palestinians were guilty of sexual violence.”

“Naturally,” antisemites around the world, including women who would never question the allegations of rape by anyone else, are challenging the facts specifically because Israel is sharing these. Fortunately, non-Israelis have witnessed and reported on this reality. After witnessing the gruesome evidence of rape, filmed and broadcast by the terrorists themselves, journalist Jotam Confino wrote he saw, “Two dead women lying on the grass at a musical festival – both with no pants on. One has her panties taken half off. The other doesn’t appear to have any on at all.

He saw an “eyewitness describing how she saw a woman being raped by several Hamas terrorists, pulling her hair as they raped her and took turns. One of them cut her breasts off – the others played with them like a toy. The last terrorist to rape her shot her in the head and continued to rape her until he finished.”

Most of the most horrific documentation has not been widely released out of respect for the victims, and because this is part of ongoing investigations and likely additional criminal charges. But the terrorists’ confessions alone are abundant.

One terrorist was asked during his interrogation: “And why take the kids and babies?” He replied, “To rape them.” Another terrorist also confirmed that babies were abducted and raped.

These captured terrorists were not acting as “freelancers.” There’s documented evidence of Hamas commanders issuing specific orders to the terrorists who perpetrated the massacres not only to kill and kidnap as many Jews as possible but to rape and sexually mutilate Israeli women.

In any other circumstances, where women ranging from babies to the elderly had been the victim of such ferocious, repeated sexual attacks, the #MeToo masses would have swung into full action. Yet that’s not happening. UN Women which published numerous articles decrying the situation of women in Gaza, has ignored crimes against Israeli women. There has not been any recognition of Israeli women who were burned alive, beheaded, raped, had their breasts cut off, had their babies cut out of their stomachs, or been violently kidnapped.

The silence of those who purport to fight sexual violence on behalf of all women everywhere has been deafening. It’s especially problematic in light of November 25 being the United Nations-designated International Day for the Prevention of Violence against Women.

Rape and sexual assault as a tactic in the context of terrorism and war is a war crime. The Geneva Convention requires “women shall be especially protected against any attack on their honor, in particular against rape or any form of indecent assault.” The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court states that “rape, sexual slavery, forced pregnancy, or any other form of sexual violence” is a crime against humanity.

In numerous previous wars, crimes against women were a cornerstone of international criminal indictments and prosecution of men responsible for orchestrating and participating in rape. Based on the silence of the world about these heinous Hamas crimes against women and girls, it is unimaginable that any special prosecutor will be enlisted to protect Israeli and Jewish women. The International Criminal Court has historically been so biased against Israel, as happens in many rape cases, it’s not impossible to see the ICC even blaming the victims. Maybe for dressing too provocatively.

Hamas Official: We Will Repeat the October 7 Atrocities Again and Again

"Israel is a country that has no place in our land," Hamas official Ghazi Hamad told the Middle East's LBC International news network on Tuesday. "We must remove that country."

"It constitutes a security, military, and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation and must be finished." Hamad added, completely unnecessarily after the attacks on Israeli civilians we all witnessed on the weekend of October 7, "We are not ashamed to say this, with full force."

Selections from LBC's interview with Hamad were translated and posted by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). I've been relying on their good work since shortly after 9/11/2001.

Here's the clip.

"We will do this again and again," Hamad said of the October terror invasion when Hamas murdered 1,400 Israeli civilians. "The Al-Aqsa flood is just the first time and there will be a second, a third, a fourth because we have the resolve and the capabilities to fight."

For now, anyway. The news from Gaza this week is that the IDF is being methodical in its destruction of Hamas both above and below ground.

Hamad implicitly recognized that point. "Will we have to pay a price?" he rhetorically asked. "Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs."

It wasn't clear from the clip MEMRI posted, but I presume that Hamad was speaking from the relative safety of Doha or Beirut. The skill and determination of Israel's Mossad is why Hamad's safety is only relative. It might take weeks, months, or years, but there is no doubt in my mind that Israeli intelligence officers will eliminate every Hamas official — whether they're hiding out in a well-stocked tunnel dug below a Gaza residential apartment building or enjoying the good life in a Qatar luxury suite

Try asking the ghost of Adolph Eichmann about that, Mr. Hamad. The notorious Nazi SS officer was kidnapped from Argentina by Israeli agents 15 years after World War II was won, given a fair trial, then hanged by the neck until dead.

SS-Obersturmbannführer Eichmann, for those who don't know, helped organize the 1942 Wannsee Conference where Nazi officials planned for the extermination of Europe's Jews. They managed to murder around half of them — something like six million souls — in various death camps before the end of the war. Hanging was better than Eichmann deserved, but then the Israelis weren't genocidal barbarians.

It's easy to imagine Hamad taking part in something similar to Wannsee after seeing this next exchange, which is both telling and chilling.

"The occupation must come to an end," Hamad insisted.

"Occupation where? In the Gaza strip?" the anchor asked.

"No, I am talking about all the Palestinian lands."

"Does that mean the annihilation of Israel?"

Hamad's answer followed without hesitation. "Yes. Of course."

"Nobody should blame us for the things we do."

The cute part was when Hamad said, "We did not want to harm civilians [on October 7] but there were complications on the ground." Cute, that is, if you like your terrorist apologists to turn all squishy for the TV cameras, trying to convince soft Westerners that when they say they want to destroy Israel and drive out all the Jews, they only want to murder most of them and maybe not all of them.

"There was a party in the area with [a civilian] population... it was a large area, across 40 kilometers," and these things happen, you know when disciplined, well-trained soldiers stumble across a rave and then accidentally murder, rape, and kidnap a bunch of young dancers before uploading videos of the atrocities to the victims' own social media accounts.

I had a cold kind of respect for Hamad when he was at least being honest about Hamas's genocidal intentions and murderous methods. To watch him make lame excuses like a seven-year-old was just pathetic.

Carthago delenda est, Rome's Cato the Elder said before the Third Punic War — "Carthage must be destroyed." The Second Punic War had nearly ended Rome. After the Hamas Terror Invasion on October 7, it is Hamas that must be destroyed — and high-ranking officials like Ghazi Hamad, wherever they might be found.

Here Are Just a Few of Hamas’s Atrocities Against Israel the Left Is Cheering

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the savage butchery visited upon innocent Israelis on October 7 was the worst since the atrocities of the Holocaust. No one paying attention has a problem believing that.  You won’t either after reading this.

On the morning of October 7, Hamas genocidal terrorists — yes, CBC, New York Times, BBC, they were terrorists — paraglided from the sky to attack people at a music festival while others, who had apparently been pre-positioned, began attacking families, children, and mothers and fathers in the southern part of Israel with such depraved savagery I had to take a break from this story and pray.

Hamas is a declared terrorist entity by the U.S. government. Hamas was elected to office in 2006 and, predictably, called off elections thereafter. It has used billions of dollars to build its hundreds of miles of air-conditioned tunnels under the city. The “Palestinians” (Gazans) are left in squalor. Some work in Israel.

The unspeakable crimes against humanity were photographed by the very men and women who committed them. They wore GoPro cameras or recorded their sickening deeds with their victims’ phones. These feral packs of hyenas, hyped up on a drug to intensify their lethality, brayed and bragged about their bloodletting on video.

We’ve written multiple stories here at PJ Media about how university students who ballyhoo about “equity” and “inclusion” now chant  that Jews should be exterminated “from the river to the sea.” More than half of Americans aged 18-24 believe that Jews had these atrocities coming to them. They’ll come for the rest of us later.

The “Palestinians” have their crisis actors playing roles for Pallywood productions. Bad information at a time of war is the rule, not the exception — especially if you get it from social media. The New York Times willingly went along with the Pallywood tale that Israel bombed a hospital. I waited on the “decapitated babies” story because there was only one source — one reporter who talked to one IDF soldier. Whether they beheaded a baby, burned it alive, or stabbed it in the womb, the innocent baby is still dead. It turns out, however,  that all of those things were done to babies by these terrorists.

First reports are almost always wrong, and this part of the world is known for making up the news. An Israeli tech “threat intelligence” company called Cyabra says that 25% of the social media posts are bots “attempting to proliferate misinformation.” We can’t tell you if these folks touted by the Jerusalem Post are similar to America’s “fact checkers,” but it’s worth mentioning in this context.

So, let’s take a look at what the only reputable and available source in the region says happened to the 1,400 people, including 33 Americans that we’re aware of, and possibly more who died at the hands of these genocidal killers.

We turn to Israeli pathologists who had to piece together bodies, identify remains, and determine the causes of death. When Gaza pathologists come forward with forensic information on the deaths of Israelis in this attack, we’ll include their findings.

The pathologists at the National Center of Forensic Medicine (Abu Kabir) in Tel Aviv have been able to discern roughly 200 humans from the rubble. We’ve checked them against the Stand 4 Israel platform of tech volunteers, which has just been stood up to verify deaths and knock down fake news.

A boy in the arms of his father burned alive.

A man taking video of the music festival of the round-up of concertgoers. One can hear the round hit him as he takes his last breath.

The charred remains of babies — yes, plural — burned alive.

A baby was murdered. Joe Biden confirmed that babies had been beheaded because he’d seen the images.

Another photo of babies burned alive. One can tell if a human is burned alive because of what’s in the trachea and lungs.

Twelve bodies of concertgoers put into a temporary morgue.

Twenty-one bodies lined up in body bags from the kibbutz Be’eri near the border with Gaza.

More than 200 hostages of all ages are still being held. An 85-year-old peace activist who spent her dotage helping Palestinians get medical care was beaten with a stick, thrown on the back of a motorcycle, and then taken to Hamas’s underground tunnels, where the hostages were separated depending on which kibbutz they lived in.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry has made videos of the carnage. Other photos were shown in person to media members and Secretary of State Tony Blinken, whose reckless Iran payoffs and disastrous Afghanistan pull-out paved the way to this carnage. Blinken said, “A baby — an infant — riddled with bullets. Soldiers beheaded, young people burnt alive in their cars,” he said. “Images are worth a thousand words. These images, they may be worth a million.”

Hamas’ treatment of Israelis: ‘A baby was cut out of a pregnant woman and beheaded and then the mother was beheaded’

And some people think theirs is a righteous cause, or that the Israelis are worse. For some, fantasy is a way of life.

“EXCLUSIVE: Israeli morgue worker says horrors inflicted on Hamas’s victims are ‘worse than the Holocaust’ including a decapitated pregnant woman and her beheaded unborn child,” by Nick Fagge, Daily Mail, October 20, 2023:

A volunteer who works in a military base morgue cleaning the bodies of mutilated Israeli soldiers before they are buried says the brutality of Hamas’ massacre of innocents is ‘worse than the Holocaust.’

Shari has the grim task of pulling mutilated corpses from the body bags that are lined up on stretchers at the morgue of the Shura military base near Tel Aviv before preparing them as best she can for funerals.

The architect and mother-of-four told MailOnline: ‘I heard stories about Auschwitz as a child growing up in New Jersey. But what I have seen here with my own eyes is worse than the Holocaust.’…

‘There is evidence of mass rape so brutal that they broke their victims’ pelvis – women, grandmothers, children….

‘I am a mother from New Jersey. I moved to Israel 20 years ago. I’m a normal person….

‘People whose heads have been cut off. Women standing in their night dresses woken up and shot. Faces blasted off. Heads smashed and their brains spilling out.

‘A baby was cut out of a pregnant woman and beheaded and then the mother was beheaded.

‘Women and children burned to charcoal. Bodies murdered with their hands tied behind their backs.,,,

While Shari was explaining her work she was flanked by a row of refrigerated containers holding bodies – and a stand of blood-stained military stretchers….

1 in 10 College Students Support Hamas Atrocities

Only 50% of Democrats say they blame Hamas for the attack on Israel.

Some people are describing this poll as good news. It only seems that way because we’ve lowered the bar so drastically that anything short of a majority committing to bombing the Empire State Building seems good.

It’s not good news.

The poll finds 86% of college students saying they’re aware of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel. Of that share, 67% describe the attack as an act of terrorism by Hamas, versus 12% who see it as a justified act of resistance by Hamas. Another 21% describe it as something other than an act of terrorism or resistance.

1 in 10 college students support the murder, rape and kidnapping of Israeli civilians. Only 2 out of 3 can even bring themselves to call it terrorism. 1 in 5 are not even sure how to define it but don’t want to call it terrorism.

These are catastrophic numbers for what should have been the lowest of low bars, horrifying atrocities against civilians caught on video and recorded in photos, widely discussed and made available, and not even 70% will call it terrorism.

The numbers predictably get worse with party and race breakdowns.

By party, 73% of Republicans, 50% of Democrats, and 50% of independents say they blame Hamas for the attack on Israel.

And by race, 58% of white college students, 47% of Latinos, and 36% of Black college students believe Hamas deserves blame for the attack.

50% among non-Republicans. Not even a majority among non-whites. A third among black people.

Generation Lab doesn’t make its polls public so I can’t dig into the data any further, but there’s little here that inspires optimism and plenty that shows where the hate on campus is coming from.

Even if we limit the worst of it to that 12%, remember that’s the 12% that is much more likely to run student government, control student newspapers, attend protests, speak up, and generally be more visible and powerful.

Higher education is in a catastrophic state. It turns out enemies of our country and of basic civilized values.
