New York – -(AmmoLand.com)- As one more year draws rapidly to a close in these first three decades of the 21st Century, the United States stands precariously at the edge of an abyss.
One Branch of the Federal Government, the U.S. Supreme Court, at least recognizes the danger and has prevented the Country from falling over the precipice.
After a century of sidestepping the issue, the U.S. Supreme Court established, in three precedential case law decisions, what had been visibly plain in the language of the Second Amendment itself all along if one would only look.
All three cases were handed down in the first three decades of the 21st Century. They include:
District of Columbia vs. Heller in 2008, McDonald vs. City of Chicago in 2010, and New York State Rifle & Pistol Association vs. Bruen in 2022.
These three cases, together, stand for the following propositions, now black letter law:
The right of armed self-defense is an individual right unconnectedwith one’s service in a militia
The right of armed self-defense is a universal right, applicable to both the States and the Federal Government.
The right of armed self-defense applies wherever a person is, inside the home or outside it.
These three legal axioms are, together, the singular Law of the Land.
But for this Law, the Republic would have fallen into ruin, this Century.
There would be nothing to rein in a rogue Congress, a rogue Biden Administration, or rogue jurisdictions like those around the Country: New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Washington State, Washington D.C., Oregon, Hawaii, and several others.
The rot from those State jurisdictions and from the Federal Government would eventually infect many other states.
Forces inside the Government and outside it, both here and abroad—wealthy and powerful, malevolent and malignant—constantly machinate to destroy the right to armed self-defense. These forces will not tolerate an armed citizenry. The existence of an armed citizenry contradicts their end goal of a neo-feudalistic world government. The armed citizenry precept deviates from their plan of world conquest.
Their goal for the 21st Century is a return to the political, social, and economic feudalistic construct operating in the world of the 5th through 15th Centuries—the Middle Ages.
These ruthless elements have declared——
The United States can no longer continue as a free Constitutional Republic;
The American people must be subjugated; and
Any thought of an armed citizenry must be erased from the collective memory of the American people.
The ashes of a once powerful, respected, sovereign, independent United States are to be commingled with the ashes of other western nations.
The EU and the British Commonwealth Nations are a step in the direction of that world empire.
The neoliberal democratic world order is conceived as——
One devoid of defined geographical borders,
One absent national government; and
One bereft of any defining history, heritage, culture, ethos, or Judeo-Christian ethic by which the people of one nation may easily distinguish themselves from any other.
Bill of Rights
Will the U.S. fall victim to totalitarianism as have the nations of the EU and British Commonwealth, as have India and China, and as have most all countries in the Middle East? Let us hope not.
The U.S. need not fall victim.
The U.S. has something all other nations lack: a true Bill of Rights.
Our Bill of Rights consists of a set of natural laws: fundamental, unalienable, unmodifiable, immutable, illimitable, and eternal.
Within this Country’s Bill of Rights rests a Cardinal Truth. And, of this Truth——
The Founders were aware of it.
The Republic they founded is grounded on it.
The strength and power of our Country and the staying power of our Constitution is a testament to it.
All Americans should imprint this Truth on their collective memory:
“What isn’t created by man cannot lawfully be taken from man by other men, nor by any temporal artifice of man: Government, for the sanctity, inviolability of man’s Selfhood, his Soul, and his Spirit do not belong to the Government; they cannot be bestowed on man by Government; and they cannot be severed from man by Government.”
Government is a dangerous enterprise.
Our Federal Government is no longer reliable. It is entirely rogue. It has forgotten the people whose interests it was created to serve. It serves only its own interests, those special interests that fund the campaign coffers, and foreign, secretive agencies of whom the public has no inkling.
With this Federal Government, the American people have got “a tiger by the tail.” It is difficult to hold onto, but one daren’t let it go lest it bites the people. Best to destroy it if we can no longer hold onto it.
That “Tiger,” our Federal Government, is a creation of the American people and exists only to serve the people—the true and sole sovereign over the Federal Government.
The presence of an armed citizenry serves as both evidence of its sovereignty over the Government and the mechanism by which it may lawfully constrain it, contain it, or curtail it if the Government loses its way and turns against the people.
The Right to Armed Self-Defense is Natural Law, a God-given right bestowed on man by the Divine Creator.
Government cannot lawfully modify Natural Law, Ignore it, Rescind it, or formally Repeal it.
Since armed self-defense is a Natural Law Right, the U.S. Supreme Court—in Heller, McDonald, and Bruen—didn’t make new law. The rulings of the three seminal High Court cases simply make explicit what is tacit in the language of the Second Amendment.
Unfortunately, many jurisdictions have failed to recognize, or otherwise have failed to acknowledge and accept, the strictures of the Second Amendment.
That necessitated the intervention of the High Court. In one Second Amendment case after another—from Heller to McDonald and then to Bruen—the Court has ordered States to uphold the strictures of the Second Amendment. Yet, many refuse to do so.
Indeed, many jurisdictions reject Heller, McDonald, and Bruen outright. But no jurisdiction does so more emphatically, contemptuously, and openly than New York. And a recent ruling of the Second Circuit is disheartening and unnerving.

The heartbroken family is furious at the government and school staff who hid the Migrant’s past sexual attacks on females, strangulation porn habits, and his actual age.
Nine-year-old Luna was raped and almost murdered last year in the multicultural district of Morö Backe in Skellefteå, Sweden. The little girl was beaten, strangled, tied to a tree, and sexually assaulted by a 15-year-old Ethiopian serial sexual offender posing as a 13-year-old. As a result, the permanently brain-damaged child must now travel in a wheelchair specially designed for her.
During her hospitalization, she was placed in a coma on a respirator for eleven days. Luna was alive but couldn’t move, talk, eat, or function in any conscious way.
Her Muslim Ethiopian rapist, Abushi Shamse Kamal, arrived in Sweden in 2017. At only 15, he was already known to authorities for several sexual assault cases dating back to 2019 and 2021.
Shamse was granted a permanent residence permit in Sweden on June 30 – a week before the brutal act.
The Attack
On July 7, Luna put on her backpack and helmet, said goodbye to the staff at the school, and got on her bike to ride home to Morö Backe in Skellefteå. Then, the nine-year-old little girl came across the migrant.
Authorities do not know how the migrant teen got Luna to stop her bike or how he managed to drag her naked body through the rough terrain of the woods, where she was later found strangled by a shoelace — moments away from death. The migrant raped her, strangled her with her shoelaces, and repeatedly punched her.
No one knows precisely how long Luna lay injured on the ground, without clothes, with her own shoelace tied around her neck like a stranglehold. He then used her other shoelace to tie her hands around the tree so tightly that it damaged the bark. When she was discovered, she was lying on the ground and breathing with faint rasps. According to the doctors, she was close to death.
The lack of oxygen after the strangulation has left Luna with permanent brain damage, and she cannot speak and has difficulty moving her arms and legs. She is on medication for epilepsy, and her movements are spastic, not voluntary. She no longer has any language to express herself. Her family learned that Luna’s brain damage is irreversible.
Luna’s family has given an exclusive interview to the Swedish newspaper Expressen about their daily nightmare. The family reports that they believe Luna remembers everything that happened to her. “Sometimes she becomes inconsolable, sad, and upset,” they explained. So they do everything to calm her down and say: “We know. We know what happened to you; you don’t have to struggle to tell us”.
The girl was found alive, but the teenager’s efforts to strangle her had deprived her of oxygen, leaving her with permanent brain damage. As a result, she is trapped in her own body, unable to express herself or move her limbs. After months of rehabilitation, Luna has made little progress. She can wave her hand a little. She managed to say one word: “Mom.” There are also setbacks, such as increased anxiety and panic attacks.
A few days ago, Luna could leave the hospital for a short visit to celebrate Christmas with her family. But, at home, Luna needs round-the-clock assistance and supervision. “She’s completely helpless,” explains the family.
Luna is an artistic little girl, she loves to sing and dance explained her devasted Aunt Emma.
Luna was failed by the School and State
The Ethiopian teen had been a terror nearly from the moment he arrived in Sweden. The boy had been in and out of neighboring schools. He had a history of documented sexual assaults, viewing graphic strangulation pornography on school computers, assaulting girls in school, and a woman near an underpass where Luna’s body would later be found.
In 2019, three sexual offenses against girls in school were reported. He had touched their breasts and buttocks and called one of them a ”whore”. The school contacted the parents but did not report any concerns to Social Services.
During the trial, it was revealed that Abushi Shamse had used the school’s computers to search for ”violent and pornographic films and materials that contained strangulation” – and that the school knew about it. But the school took no action. Instead, they only told Shamse to stop searching for such material if he wanted to continue using the school’s computers.
Psychologists and a social services team from the municipality had met with the migrant. But when his parents declined to participate in the investigation, social services said they “could find no reason to investigate against the parents’ wishes.”
In June 2021, he assaulted a woman at a subway near the site where Luna was found. The crime was investigated as an attempted abuse, and a sexual motive – was suspected. Still, since Abushi Shamse was not of legal age, the investigation was sent to the Social Service. The school received no information at all.
Society could have prevented this, says Luna’s aunt. She says she does not direct her anger at the 15-year-old; she cannot even think about him.
Instead, her anger is directed against the adults in the schools and the social services — the same ones who knew the boy’s problems and past record but did nothing to protect the children. She said there were “signals” that authorities could have acted upon.
She believes there are still people to save. So why did no one sound the alarm button? This is our role as adults: to be the eyes of the children around us and to protect those we are meant to protect.
Day of the Attempted Murder
It was around 3:20 when Luna left camp at school on July 7 last summer. Earlier that day, the 15-year-old had been circulating in the schoolyard without anything to do. For most who knew the boy, he was 13 years old. But the boy’s family, and even people employed at the school, knew that his age was incorrect.
The boy’s behavior at school also stood out, including documented incidents of a sexual nature towards girls. But on the day of the attempted murder of Luna, he was seen as an idle boy on summer vacation, hanging around aimlessly at school.
A student had had his electric scooter stolen, and the migrant offered to help search. Shamse found it quickly, and there are reports that he himself took it and therefore had an easy time finding the scooter.
Around 3:30 p.m., a witness heard a scream from the forest. Shortly after 4 p.m., the boy was seen in the schoolyard again.
It wasn’t until 5:28 that a call was made to emergency services. The migrant had been trying to stop people on the road and asking them to join him in the forest. An apparent ruse to try and make it appear as if he had stumbled across the girl he had raped and nearly murdered. A woman finally followed the boy into the forest and brought her daughter, who was the same age as Luna. The woman called emergency services immediately.
The police patrol on site noticed the 15-year-old’s behavior was odd. Police interrogated the boy that evening at his home. Even then, he told police he was 15, not 13. He also gave a story about how he found the girl in the woods when he went to pee, even though Luna was 30 meters off the road in hard-to-reach terrain.
At the end of the interrogation, the boy asks a question:
“When will you get the answer?”
“How do you mean?“ asked the police.
“About her. Who has done it?”
The following evening, the boy confessed to his parents, and the father called the police. When the investigation by the Forensic Agency confirmed that he was over 13, the investigation became a preliminary investigation.
In questioning, the boy expressed surprise that Luna had survived. He has admitted parts of what he did, but in the interrogation, the story changed over time, and he had difficulty explaining why it happened.
Sentencing
On October 19, the Skellefteå district court ruled that the migrant was guilty of attempted murder and aggravated rape. On November 30, the results of the forensic psychiatric investigation showed that the 15-year-old suffered from a serious mental disorder both when he assaulted Luna and now. The investigation also concluded that the risk of relapse of a crime of similar nature is high. However, the boy’s parents are fighting for him to escape compulsory care and be allowed to come home.
On December 14, Shamse was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care with a special discharge examination by the Skellefteå district court. The court ruled that the migrant intended to kill Luna. The penalty value for an adult was equivalent to life imprisonment.
Luna Must Not Be Hidden
Luna’s mother will document her daughter’s life on her own social media, like Instagram, in the same way she did before the horrific attack. Those who wish can follow Luna’s progress and daily life.
The family knows that Luna has always liked to be seen and has a strong will to speak out.
“We don’t know if Luna will ever be able to give direct consent to anything,” Emma said.
But the family has decided on one thing: Luna must not be hidden.
They show a photo of Luna sitting in her wheelchair, wearing a navy blue dress with tulle and sparkling eyes. Then, in a circle on the floor, the gathered children of the family sit on a pile of paper and help open birthday presents.
The whole family was present at the hospital when she turned ten—cousins, grandparents, little sisters, aunts, and uncles. There was a cake with birthday candles and colorful cupcakes that Luna’s mother had baked. But Luna couldn’t eat any of it; she can swallow drinks and cream but gets most of her nutrition through a PEG tube in her stomach.
Of all the feelings of hatred, anger, hopelessness, and most profound sorrow Luna’s family has gone through and still struggles with, one feeling rises above the others. Like when Emma in the dream floats above Luna’s body in the forest.
The only thing that remains is the love for Luna, says Emma.
Women have been sacrificed on the alter of mass-illegal immigration
This brutal atrocity would never have happened had it not been for mass immigration from the third world. Furthermore, the state and her school allowed a violent migrant sexual predator to remain in school around defenseless young Swedish children.
Sadly, Luna’s case is not an isolated incident. Swedish females are being sacrificed at the altar of mass illegal third-world immigration. Recently, RAIR Foundation USA reported on a woman brutally gang-raped in a park by five teenage Muslim migrants.
Last year, Swedish journalist and acclaimed author Gunnar Sandelin delivered a shocking speech on 3rd world immigration and its detrimental effects on Scandinavia. The renowned journalist was one of the first mainstream figures in Sweden to be ostracized, fired, and banned from his profession for exposing official government figures on migration. But by no means is she the only one.
Open Borders Sweden
There are no negative consequences for migrants trying to make their way to Sweden. Despite two-thirds of Swedes voting for more restrictive immigration policies, once illegals penetrate the borders, they are handed food, clothing, money, and provided shelter. As reported previously by RAIR, Swedish European Union (EU) Commissioner Ylva Johansson forces member states to accept all migrant applications despite the country’s overwhelmed and financially depleted social systems,
“Rejections are illegal. Not everyone has the right to asylum, but everyone has the right to be treated in line with our values. When people apply for asylum in the EU, they appeal to European values. And we must honour that appeal”
As detailed by Sandelin, Sweden’s mass-migration policies have dangerous and devastating effects on its society. Yet, instead of its left-wing leaders closing the borders and reversing the flow of migration, they have gone to great lengths to hide or ignore the crisis and prosecute those who speak out about its real consequences for the safety of Swedes.
Sweden is being swept by a strong wave of murder, violent assault, rape, gang rape and sexual assault, in addition to the ever-present terror threat. Instead of using its limited resources to protect its citizens from the violent onslaught against them, Sweden is waging war on its citizens for daring to speak out against the same violent onslaught from which the state is failing to protect them.
As previously reported at RAIR, the Swedish government funds a radical online “hate” monitoring group, “Näthatsgranskaren.” Tomas Åberg, a disgraced ex-police officer, heads the group. The group mass-reports Swedes who write critically about migration or Islam online to police officers, who have raided speech offenders’ homes, roughed them up, placed them under arrest, and collected their DNA.
Demographic Impact From Migration
There are shocking demographic impacts from migration that are affecting European countries’ national and cultural identities.
According to Gatestone, “within a generation, Sweden’s third largest city, Malmö, will have a population in which the majority of people are of foreign background.” In 2008 researcher Kyosti Tarvainen predicted Muslims would be the majority in the next several decades. Gunnar Sandelin explains that 30% of the population is now foreign-born, and “Sweden will become Europe’s most Muslim-populated country,”
People of foreign origin have increased by almost 1.5 million. People of Swedish origin decreased by almost 25,000. “Foreign-origin” people are those who are born abroad and both of whose parents are of foreign-origin.
Everywhere across the West, except in countries that refuse to take in illegal third-world immigrants, such as Poland or Hungary, females continue to be sacrificed by their open borders leaders. Sadly, Globalists’ multicultural experiment in Sweden has resulted in Swedes no longer being safe in their own country.

“We are proud Americans speaking up against an extreme agenda that is putting money and power over everyday Americans,” Courage for America’s mission statement claims.
If you have any doubt whatsoever that CFA is an American organization, its home page is decorated with a flag draped over a barn. The ‘O’ in its logo even includes flag symbolism.
CFA has announced that it’s “forming a council of proud Americans” to fight Republican investigations into the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden clan.
Waving the flag to cover up the intimidation of elected officials investigating dirty deals with Chinese and Russian oligarchs is a new low even for Biden and his cronies.
Will Hansjörg Wyss, the Swiss billionaire allegedly backing CFA, be on the council of proud Americans? It would be awkward for the foreign tycoon to sit on a “council of proud Americans” since he is not, as far as even the media has been able to determine, an American citizen.
Instead, he appears to be living in America under an investor visa.
That hasn’t stopped the wealthy European from using his fortune to drastically influence American politics with the complicity of the IRS, the FEC, and the rest of the government.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Wyss, who was accused of getting rich while killing patients, has broken the rules. And nothing says “proud Americans” fighting for “every American” like a secretive organization that doesn’t list its staff and appears to be funded by a foreign billionaire.
Wyss co-founded Synthes, a medical device manufacturer focused on repairing broken bones. In 2010, Synthes pled guilty to illegally experimenting on patients: its president and its spine division president, and two other executives were sentenced to prison. Even though a manager testified that Wyss had made the decision not to go through clinical trials, and owned half the company, he was not charged and has gone on funding the extreme causes of the Left.
The 5 Americans who died were not so lucky. Some of the dead, like Barbara Marcelino, showed signs of the cement used by Wyss’ company, in their lungs.
Wyss’ Hub Project has poured its money into everything from Democrat redistricting efforts to automatic voter registration with a massive impact on our elections. But this time the Hub appears to be focused on playing defense for Democrats against GOP investigations.
“Our goal is to go on offense against the new House majority,” said Zac Petkanas, Hillary’s former rapid response director, and a political strategist now working on behalf of Courage for America, bragged. “We are going to be pointing out the things that those investigations are distracting from.”
And who better to distract Americans from those investigations into Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals than a shadowy dark money group allegedly funded by a foreign billionaire?
NBC News has reported that Courage for America has a “seven-figure budget and support from the Hub Project, a giant Democratic dark money network, the group plans a robust operation including polling, paid advertising and social media campaigns, along with traditional opposition research and communications.”
But what NBC didn’t bother to mention was that the Hub Project appears to have been set up by the Wyss Foundation. A complaint by Americans for Public Trust noted in a filing that the Hub Project’s business plan “recommended that the group ‘be solely funded by the Wyss Foundation at the outset’ and that it would work behind the scenes to “dramatically shift the public debate and policy positions of core decision makers.”
Courage for America wants to target the Republican House majority and help Democrats fight off investigations into scandals like Hunter Biden and his foreign business operations.
GOP members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee have found 50 countries where the Biden family has looked into doing business. And they also intend to investigate Joe Biden’s role in some of those ventures. These hearings will potentially look into everything from Hunter’s Chinese-backed cobalt mine deal to a Russian oligarch. And the Democrats will defend against allegations that Biden, his brother, and his son engaged in dubious business deals with shady foreign tycoons by turning to yet another shady foreign tycoon.
“The American people need to be introduced and educated about the extremist agenda of this new House and also who these members are,” CFA’s Petkanas blustered.
The CFA is so open that its site doesn’t even mention Petkanas, or Naveed Shah: its spokesman. Not only are CFA’s donors secret, but so are its staff and leadership. Instead of listing its staff, CFA references its “council” to divert attention from who is running the show.
That’s suspicious behavior for an organization that claims that it’s all about transparency. CFA is even working with another group calling itself the Congressional Integrity Project which vows to expose the “reality behind Republicans’ politically motivated oversight and investigations targeting President Biden and Democrats.” Nothing says integrity like a dark money machine helping Biden and his cronies intimidate elected officials investigating his corrupt activities.
The level of coordination between CFA, CIP, and the Biden administration was revealed when the Washington Post mentioned that, “while the CIP is not formally tied to the White House, its leaders have spoken with President Biden’s aides and it recently brought on Jeff Peck, a former chief-of-staff to Biden from his time in the Senate.”
Biden appears to be covertly coordinating with a dark money machine group funded by a foreign billionaire to stop investigations into his dealings with foreign business interests.
If that’s not impeachable conduct, what is?
“These are sham investigations,” Kyle Herrig of CIP fumed. “We’re going to leave no stone unturned. No one has done the investigative research we’ve done on these investigators. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
“We have a multimillion-dollar budget, and we’re staffing up with a team of researchers and communicators,” he warned.
Where does that “multimillion-dollar budget” come from?
Dark money means that no one knows. The Washington Examiner couldn’t find anyone at CIP’s supposed offices and its spokesperson wouldn’t even provide a name.
This plot to fight investigations into corruption and abuses by the Biden administration has only revived questions about Wyss and his money machine. And the legality of his ongoing efforts to influence our political system for the benefit of the Democrats and the Left.

Musk’s Starlink is revolutionizing Internet technology globally. Last month, the UK began trials using Starlink “to beam high-speed broadband to remote areas of the UK.” In 2020, Starlink was already being reported to be a possible “uncensored internet solution” for North Korea, that “could prove a game-changer.”

Dr. Kablawi said that the Afghan women are “fine” and asked whether it is right for a woman to be “exposed to everybody and anybody has access to her” and whether this is considered women’s rights. He further said that shari’a is the solution for all the suffering of mankind. Dr. Kablawi added that the law of Allah is the only law that is not changed “under the domes of parliaments, Congress, or all that nonsense.” Dr. Kablawi, who is a dentist, immigrated to the United States from Jordan.

In a Friday, June 5, 2020 sermon delivered at the North Miami Islamic Center, which is known also as Masjid As-Sunna An-Nabawiyya North Miami, Imam Dr. Fadi Yousef Kablawi said that he is saddened by Muslims who participate in Black Lives Matter protests because “every life matters.” He said that Christianity is the main problem in America and the West today since Christians believe that Jesus died for their sins and that as a result, they believe that they can commit crimes such as looting and repent for them later. He stated that the solution to America’s problems is Islam. Later in the sermon, Imam Kablawi said that according to Darwinism, the European race must “exterminate the savage race” of people with bigger lips and darker skin. The sermon, titled “This Is How We Should Look at the George Floyd Issue as Muslims,” was streamed live on the mosque’s Facebook page. Dr. Kablawi, who is a dentist and originally from Jordan, had written an article in Ghurabaa Islamic Magazine in 2010, saying that the Jews incurred the anger of God. In November 2019, Salman Rashid, who is affiliated with the North Miami Islamic Center, was arrested for plotting an ISIS attack against the deans of Broward College and Miami Dade College.

On June 19, 2020, a video was uploaded to the Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah North Miami Facebook page of a sermon delivered by Dr. Fadi Yousef Kablawi, a Jordanian-born imam at the North Miami Islamic Center. In the sermon, Imam Kablawi mocked the LGBTQ community, people who want to be addressed by different pronouns, and the freedom to choose one’s lifestyle and sexuality. He said that the law prevents employers from firing people for being members of the LGBTQ community, but that this is a violation of employers’ rights because it stresses employers and makes them uncomfortable. Imam Kablawi added that any man-made law such as this gives people rights at the expense of other people’s rights and that the only law that holds everybody equal is Allah’s law.

Reviver Academy is a Muslim children’s private school based in Miami, Florida. The school is part of the North Miami Islamic Center (NMIC), which also includes a mosque whose imam, Fadi Kablawi, uses his pulpit to preach violence and target Jews, gays, Christians, women, and fellow Muslims with the worst of bigotry. This same school/mosque receives taxpayer-funded vouchers from the state of Florida to lower tuition costs for its students. Given the violent and hateful nature of NMIC, its educational apparatus should cease receiving school vouchers and be forced to give back those vouchers it received previously.
Though Reviver and NMIC have separate corporations, they are essentially the same organization. According to the NMIC website, “North Miami Islamic Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Corporation in Miami, Florida.The Organization owns a Masjid (Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah) and an Academy (Reviver Academy, LLC).” The Reviver logo, many times, is presented with the words “Assunah AnnabaweyaRevivers” written under it. All three entities operate out of the same facility, located at 560 NW 165th Street Rd. in Miami, and prior to February 2015, they used the Miami address of 431 NE Circle Ter. #102-24.
The building housing Reviver and NMIC has three floors. The mosque is on the first level. The school uses the second floor. Currently, NMIC is actively raising funds to renovate the third floor to expand the school. Apparently, a good chunk of these funds is coming from Florida’s taxpayers.
As stated on Reviver school registration instructions, “We accept Step Up For Students Scholarship.” Step Up for Students is a Florida nonprofit organization that works with the state to provide scholarships to help pay tuition for private schools. The scholarships average around $7000 per student. During this past Ramadan, soon-to-be Reviver administrator Nabil el-Shukri told the NMIC congregation that he would help them get “vouchers” to assist them in paying for their children’s education.
For Reviver/NMIC to be involved in securing funding linked to Florida’s taxpayers is a huge problem, as it has significant links to terror and is involved in propagating the worst of violence and bigotry.
NMIC is an outgrowth of the Shamsuddin Islamic Center, where future al-Qaeda leader and Nabil el-Shukri’s brother, Adnan, was a congregant and their father, Gulshair, was a founding board member. NMIC originally operated from Shamsuddin’s address. It is not by chance that Shamsuddin’s ex-President, Shazam Mohamed, is now NMIC President and Reviver Manager. Mohamed is Vice President of the American Muslim Association of North America (AMANA), a group condemned by the ADL for spreading “venomous” Jew-hatred, whose President, Sofian Zakkout, was kicked off two anti-crime boards for promoting Hamas and Holocaust denial.
While Mohamed holds the organization’s top leadership role, the face of Reviver/NMIC is Jordanian-born imam Fadi Yousef Kablawi. Kablawi, whom the FBI believes has had involvement with ISIS and who has previously been charged with “making terrorist threats at an airport,” uses the mosque to verbally assault others. This includes Jews, Christians, Hindus, gays, women, and even his fellow Muslims, who do not embrace his brand of extremism.
In December 2020, Kablawi told his congregants thatJews are “the lowest of the lowest.” He said that people “crack jokes about Jews being cheap” as “a punishment from Allah.” In January 2021, Kablawi stated that Jews “deserve the wrath of Allah… because he knows what the truth is… [H]e knows what’s right, but his intention is evil.” In May 2021, he said, “[T]he Jews cry… every minute about the Holocaust. And they make it the worst thing that happens in history for any group of people… You didn’t suffer… When you come and say, ‘We want money for our great-grandfathers, who were burned by Hitler,’ you’re capitalizing, just as usual. You love money.”
In January 2019, Kablawi told the congregation, “If you look at the religions in the world, perhaps Christianity can compete for one of the first three places in stupidity.” In September 2021, he stated, “When I go outside to make dawah (outreach), I’m not going [up] to a Christian to tell him ‘I hate you’… but that does not deny the fact I do… I don’t hate him because his head is big or he’s skinny or fat or his skin color, but I still hate him as a being.”
In August 2021, during a speech at his mosque, he stated about America, “I’m a true believer in the fact that Allah has not destroyed this country yet, because we Muslims live in it.” He declared the same for homosexuals, stating: “When Allah tortured Lut (Lot), they knew that what they were doing is wrong… So you want to tell me the gays of today are better? Yet, Allah is not destroying them. The only explanation I know of myself… is because we Muslims are here. So based on that, all gays and all lesbians in America should be standing outside this masjid to give us appreciation. But we don’t want it. Stay away from me.”
Amid this same August 2021 speech, while defending the Taliban’s treatment of women, Kablawi vilified female victims of sexual assault, impugning women for the crimes committed against them. He asked, “Can you tell me about rape?” He continued, “‘Oh, he’s one of them. Oh, he blames the women for the way they dress for getting raped.’ I blame them, but I don’t free the perpetrator.”
Kablawi has also preached violence.In July 2020, Kablawistated, “[J]ihad is when you put your life on the line… Real jihad is not climbing walls. Real jihad is climbing over people’s necks and heads and skulls.”
At least one of Kablawi’s followers, then-Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah congregant Salman Rasheed, appeared to have taken Kablawi’s words to heart when he was arrested for soliciting an individual to contact ISIS in a plot to murder the deans of both Broward College and Miami-Dade College. Rasheed posted on Facebook, “Americans Are Our Greatest Enemy After Israeli Yahuds” and “Americans will pay Inch by Inch For everything they have done to us…” Kablawi, who met with and spoke with Rasheed on several occasions, called Rasheed a “good brother.” Rasheed’s mother accused Kablawi of having brainwashed her son to commit terrorist acts.
During Kablawi’s sermons, one can view several children roaming the congregation floor. This is deeply disturbing, as these innocents are taking in the hatred and violence that is being spewed by the Reviver/NMIC leadership. Certainly, there is reason to believe that a number of ‘Salman Rasheeds’ are very well being groomed for the future, there. And what is more disturbing is that all of this is being assisted by the state of Florida and the Florida taxpayers, who willingly or unknowingly are providing tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars to this wildly radical institution.
In July 2003, the Islamic Academy of Florida (IAF), a Muslim children’s private school not unlike reviver, was dropped from Florida’s state voucher program. Florida legislators had voiced concern that IAF had been named by the US government, in an indictment, as being part of a terrorist enterprise. According to the indictment, the school had been used to raise funds for Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and to harbor PIJ operatives. As a result of IAF being dropped from Florida’s voucher program, the school lost over $300,000 in vouchers.
Because of Reviver/NMIC’s association with violence and bigotry aimed at Jews, Christians, homosexuals, women, and others, Florida legislators must do the same with Reviver Academy as they have with IAF and end the school’s relationship with Step Up For Students or any Florida state voucher program. Additionally, Reviver Academy should be made to pay back any vouchers that have already been received, as these vouchers were obtained while this institution was linked to said violence and bigotry.

Yep, you read that right. People have died in their cars while stranded in the snow, temps have dropped, many roads are tied over, and power is out in parts of the nation. Crime and prices are on the rise, and the border continues to boil over. And President Joe Biden is off to the U.S. Virgin Islands to ring in the New Year. In fact, as you are reading this, Biden is probably enjoying an ocean view, basking in the sun, feeling the soft breeze, and sipping a Mai Tai. Not that a drink will make him any more coherent, but at this point, is anyone even keeping track of the gaffes, goofs, blunders, and missteps? I gave up sometime in October, to be honest. I suppose we could find some relief that he is away from the Oval Office at the moment, but if you think Biden has the acumen to destroy the nation all on his own, it may be time for you to knock off the Mai Tais.
According to Breitbart, The allegedly most powerful man in the world was set to leave Tuesday evening for St. Croix. He will be there for the balance of the week and will don a silly hat, grab a noisemaker, and a champagne flute to welcome 2023 on Saturday night.

The Daily Caller raised the point that back on December 6, Biden eschewed a trip to the border because there were “more important things going on.” Actually, I don’t think Joe Biden has anything going on, which is why he is able to jet off to St. Croix while at least 35 people are dead in the state of New York, and other parts of the nation deal with power outages and freezing temps. CNN put the total number of dead people nationwide at 52. Those numbers may change as new information comes in. But it is apparently no big deal for POTUS to decamp to St. Croix right now. Andrew Klavan routinely refers to Biden as a “venal houseplant,” in this case a potted palm tree. And the fact that Biden was essentially excused from duty in the midst of unfolding and impending national crises would bear that out. But it also raises this question: Since the president of the United States is a non-essential employee, just who is making decisions about national energy and domestic policy? And will these people be held accountable? If you answered “Who knows?” and “Never,” congratulations. You just earned your poli-sci degree.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is the section of our government that is responsible for ensuring that our food is safe for American consumption. Yet, when it comes to food consumed by Muslim Americans, the USDA has been relying on groups associated with terrorism – the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Islamic Relief (IR) – for assistance and is even partnering with these groups. The following will explain why our government needs to break ties with these radical outfits and worry not just about food safety, but national security.
According to ICNA Relief, the social services division of ICNA, the group has been “working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the past two years to provide guidance on expanding halal food options through the emergency food assistance program (TEFAP)… In the future, we will be working to educate USDA suppliers, distributors, and wholesalers on the requirements of halal certification.”
The USDA states on its website, “For specific Halal information the following organizations may be helpful: ICNA Relief [and] Islamic Relief USA.” The USDA website also lists Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) as a USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) “partner organization.” IRUSA is the US branch of IR. IR’s global headquarters, Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), is based in Birmingham, England.
ICNA was founded as the American arm of the South Asian Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). As such, ICNA has significant links to South Asian terrorists. For over three decades, ICNA has harbored former JI killing squad commander Ashrafuzzaman Khan, who, in November 2013, was sentenced to death (in absentia) for the murders of 18 people during the 1971 Bangladesh genocide. Khan has served as ICNA Vice President and ICNA-New York President. ICNA has as well collaborated with and promoted Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation (FIF), a banned front for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the group behind the November 2008 Mumbai, India terror attacks.
ICNA has been linked to terrorist financing. In August 2006, ICNA was a top donor and partner to JI charity Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF), at the same time AKF led a delegation to Damascus, Syria to hand deliver $100,000 to the then-global head of Hamas, Khaled Mashal, at his residence. ICNA continues to be a partner and donor to AKF. In October 2000, ICNA placed on its website links to the official sites of Hamas and Hezbollah as well as a directive issued by then-ICNA President Mohammad Yunus to provide “material support” to “fellow Chechnyan Muslims,” while providing a link to qoqaz.net (‘Jihad in Chechnya’), a financing/recruitment website for al-Qaeda.
ICNA has an Islamic outreach (dawah) division, WhyIslam. On the WhyIslam website, one finds an essay, ‘Gender Equity in Islam,’ sanctioning domestic violence. It states, “[W]omen on whose part you fear disloyalty… beat them.” Not long ago, the site featured a message board used by forum moderators to make posts deriding Jews and supporting Hamas and Israel’s destruction. One moderator, Marwan, discussing an Indian eatery called “Hitler’s cross,” vilely joked, “Nazi restaurant… I wonder if they have kosher meals.” Another said that Jews who speak against Israel… “deserve peace and life… The rest will one day end up in the Mediterranean sea.”
Like ICNA, Islamic Relief has several ties to overseas terrorism. As a result, IR has been banned by a number of nations. In May 2006, Israel labeled IR a front for Hamas. In November 2014, the UAE government designated IR as a terrorist group. Also in 2014, Britain’s HSBC bank cut ties with Islamic Relief over concerns about “terrorist financing.” And in October 2017, Bangladesh’s NGO Affairs Bureau banned Islamic Relief in fear the group would conduct terrorist recruitment of Myanmar refugees. In November 1999, it was reported that Islamic Relief had collected and sent over $6 million to Chechen rebels with ties to Al-Qaeda.
IRUSA board member and ex-Chairman, Khaled Lamada, has used social media to promote the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. According to the Middle East Forum, “Lamada has circulated text praising the ‘jihad’ of the ‘Mujahidin of Egypt’ for ‘causing the Jews many defeats’” and “republished claims on Facebook that praise Hamas for inflicting a ‘huge defeat’ against the ‘Zionist entity.’” In June 2015, Lamada tweeted that it is “absurd” to classify Hamas “as a terrorist organization.” Lamada has visited suicide bombing supporter Mazen Mokhtar at the hospital and praised anti-Semitic Egyptian cleric Salah Sultan as “the honor of the homeland.”
What could possibly be the legitimate reason for the USDA or any governmental organization to partner with either ICNA or Islamic Relief? In truth, there is none. These groups are dangerous to society and threats to national security. Their associations with terror and bigotry render any expertise that they may or may not have in Halal food moot.
Instead of embracing these groups, as the USDA has done, the agency should look to shut them down. There is no excuse to partner with either of these two radical entities, as a partnership implies an acceptance of the hatred and violence they are linked to.
The convicted killer of an 11-year-old Queens boy was granted clemency by Gov. Kathy Hochul and could get sprung from prison within weeks — sparking outrage from elected officials and law-enforcement sources familiar with the heartbreaking case.
In announcing her Wednesday decision to commute Bruce Bryant’s 37-1/2 years-to-life sentence — making him immediately eligible for parole — Hochul cited the college degrees he earned during his nearly 30 years behind bars, as well as his charitable work and efforts to establish a mentoring program to prevent youth violence.

On a cold October day in ’93, an 11-year-old boy brought a piece of birthday cake to his mother.
The Queens neighborhood, less than two miles from former President Trump’s childhood home, had seen better days. Giuliani was still a year away from taking office and under Mayor Dinkins, a racist pro-crime hack, New York City had hit lows that it would not see again until the return of Dinkin’s pro-crime protege, Bill de Blasio.
As Travis Lilley headed off with cake from a birthday party downstairs to the New Look Beauty Salon where his mother was working, the street was overrun with drug dealers fighting turf wars. New York Boulevard, renamed Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, after one of the first black politicians in the borough because it was where Brewer opened the Democratic Club that still bears his name, with its fast food joints, auto repair shops, and beauty salons, was dangerous.
The beauty parlor that Travis’ grandmother owned was on an intersection favored by drug dealers. Local business owners had complained to the Dinkins administration with no results.
Travis, who would forever remain eleven on that day, went downstairs to the beauty parlor that his grandmother owned. Drug dealers opened fire. The bullets, the prosecutor would later describe, “tore away the back of Travis Lilley’s head.”
Travis died in his grandfather’s arms surrounded by broken glass.
“It was his only grandchild — the baby died in his arms,” a neighbor said.
What happened on October 30, 1993, was an evil act. But it was the ordinary kind of evil that men have done throughout human history. What happened next was the extraordinary kind of evil that defines societies.
The pro-crime Left fell in love with the man convicted in the 11-year-old boy’s death.
At the sentencing of the first shooter, Travis’ mother scathingly dismissed the bawling gunman’s claims of innocence with, “he knows he’s going to spend the rest of his life in jail. That’s all he’s concerned about.”
At the sentencing of the second man, his pal, the judge declared, “It is my hope that you never again have access to decent, innocent people.”
That hope has proven to be false.
Gov. Hochul decided to commute his sentence, noting that, “Mr. Bryant has earned an Associate’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree, and recently earned a certification through an entrepreneurial training program.” And what is the life of a little boy dying in his grandfather’s arms worth compared to his killer’s entrepreneurial training program?
“Why NY’s ‘Poster Child For Clemency’ Is Still Behind Bars,” a social justice reporter, who had written a similar agitprop piece for CUNY’s Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, funded by the leftist Craigslist billionaire, complained.
Bruce Bryant, 53, a former crack dealer, is anything but a child. The child was Travis.
“Bryant isn’t the only one confused as to why he continues to be overlooked for clemency. Steve Zeidman, director of the Criminal Defense Clinic at CUNY School of Law, has helped over a dozen New York state prisoners successfully gain clemency, and he said there’s no one more deserving of freedom than Bruce Bryant,” she wrote.
“Even if Bruce was as guilty as a human being can be, he still warrants clemency, because of all he’s done inside,” Zeidman insisted.
Zeidman, whose records show earns over $180,000 from the publicly funded City University of New York, has been an articulate spokesman for the assorted monsters rattling the bars of their cages, eager to get out and maim, rob, and kill all over again. Who speaks for Travis? No one.
“Say Their Names — The People Deserving Clemency,” the law professor demanded in one screed, urging Gov. Hochul to let out Bryant, along with Stanley Bellamy, now also freed by Hochul, who had shot a man in the head at close range during a robbery in 1985.
Who will say Travis’ name?
It’s a pity that the New Yorkers who are regularly robbed, beaten, and killed by thugs aren’t paying someone $180,000 a year to say the names of the victims, just of the killers.
“Rotten Social Background and Mass Incarceration: Who Is a Victim?” Zeidman wondered in the Brooklyn Law Review. It’s easy to spot the victims. They’re the ones who don’t have $180,000 in law professors agitating for them and who die forgotten in the arms of their loved ones.
It is also just as easy to spot evil.
There are two tiers of evil. On the first and lesser tier of evil are the men who commit horrifying acts and on the second and greater tier are those who transform their evil into a societal norm.
Almost 30 years after Travis died in a beauty salon on New York Boulevard, and shortly after a sickening city finally fought back against not only the drug dealers, the rapists, robbers, and other thugs, but the pro-crime political culture that had enabled them, criminals are victims again.
In a CUNY puff piece written on Bryant’s behalf, the man convicted in Travis’ killing claimed that he turned to crime because he “saw white, wealthy customers mouth off to his father.” A customer is rude to a waiter. What else can his son do except start selling crack?
White leftists love sob stories like that. But the ultimate victims of mythologizing crime as a reaction to racism are the little black kids like Travis whom it kills. And at some point, it needs to be asked why white leftists have so much love for black killers, but none for black victims.
Gov. Hochul, who refused to bring back bail and stop the crime, survived her election due to dirty tricks, election rigging, and a lack of empathy by the Zeidman class, the wealthy upscale leftists who have once again destroyed New York City, for the victims of crime.
Crime continues to terrorize New Yorkers and pro-crime leftists continue to lie about it. And the victims, stabbed in the neck, teeth smashed out on an evening walk, raped, beaten, and killed, are shut out of the cheerful conversation about the need to free criminals and end policing.
“Individual traits are not the driver of criminal behavior,” Zeidman insisted.
It’s an old argument. The loudest voices arguing that we have no choice in our actions are those who defend the worst possible crimes. The difference between a moral and immoral society is human agency. The atrocities of the twentieth century were committed by men who believed that human beings were little more than animals or social variables. We defeated them in Europe, but tragically we never defeated them in America. And now they’re calling the shots.
The world has moved on since the murder of a little boy bearing a piece of birthday cake. The corner where the New Look Beauty Salon once stood has been occupied by the Al-Baraka Islamic Halal market. A pro-crime governor and legislative leaders occupy Albany.
Gov. Hochul is taking her victory lap by commuting the sentence of an 11-year-old boy’s killer.
Over 3 million people in New York voted for this. In 1993, two men pulled the triggers on the bullets that likely took Travis’ life. In 2022, 3,030,712 people pulled the trigger.
That is the difference between individual evil and societal evil.

Officials at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that they are distributing $3.2 billion to state, local, and territorial health departments across the United States in what they describe as an attempt to “strengthen” public health initiatives. CDC director Rochelle Walensky, MD said the money will give local agencies critical funding to help “reinforce the nation’s public health workforce and infrastructure.”1

The CDC website states that the agency’s vision is to “create a world where people in the United States and around the world live healthier, safer, and longer lives” while reducing morbidity and mortality worldwide.
Money to Be Used for Recruiting Epidemiologists and Contact Tracers
Of the total $3.2 billion in funds allocated, $3 billion will come from the Biden-Harris Administration American Rescue Plan enacted in May 2021. This plan designated a massive $7.4 billion as an ongoing COVID-19 response effort to recruit public health workers to respond to the pandemic and “prepare for future public health challenges.”2 A large portion of the money will also be used to recruit epidemiologists, contact tracers, data analysts, and community health workers.
Public trust in the medical community and public health agencies continues to decline and has dipped below pre-pandemic levels according to a Pew Research survey earlier this year. In March 2020, 79 percent of Americans said public health officials were doing an adequate job responding to the pandemic. By May 2022, that number dropped to 52 percent.1
CDC Director Says CDC in Need of an Overhaul to Rehabilitate Reputation
Throughout the COVID pandemic, the CDC has also been under scrutiny for lack of transparency in distributing real-time health data and issuing shifting guidance on quarantine, masks, and COVID vaccine use. In August of this year, Dr. Walensky said that an overhaul of the CDC was needed to modernize the agency and rehabilitate its reputation.3
“For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for COVID-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations,” Dr. Walensky said. “As a longtime admirer of this agency and a champion for public health, I want us all to do better.”3
As part of this reform, Dr. Walensky is seeking more authority from Congress for the CDC to mandate data collection from states, move money appropriations faster during emergencies, and offer more competitive salaries for recruiting.3
Federal funding is also going toward the reorganization of a division within the Health and Human Services Department known as the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, which will coordinate future federal responses to health emergencies, including vaccine distribution.4
CDC Continues to Ignore Health Education
With a $7 billion plan dedicated to strengthening public health infrastructure and $4.3 billion for local communities, the White House and government health agencies persistently refuse to address foundational ways to improve health that does not involve the use of pharmaceutical products. Neither of the multi-billion-dollar plans makes a single mention of funding efforts to educate the American people about good nutrition and healthy lifestyles or addressing other modifiable risk factors for preventing SARS-CoV-2 and infectious disease complications. There are no plans to promote regular physical activity, control high blood pressure, quit smoking and vaping, and reduce obesity.5
In fact, the CDC had to expand its BMI charts for children last week to now include measurements to cover “severe obesity” to better track and assess obesity rates. The CDC’s plan does not address what actions will be taken to help lessen the burden of obesity among children.6
CDC’s Sole Emphasis is More Vaccination
With more than 4.5 million children falling into the “severe obesity” category, the focus for public health remains solely on improving childhood vaccination rates. In fact, Dr. Walensky said that “vaccine misinformation is among the biggest threats” we are facing in public health.7
Walensky’s comments come on the heels of a recent Kaiser Family Foundation survey, which found that 28 percent of adults are now against vaccination requirements for kindergarten entry (up from 16 percent in 2019). The survey revealed that 35 percent of parents surveyed said parents should have the freedom to decide whether or not their children get vaccinated (up from 23 percent in 2019).7
With a single-minded focus on getting all children injected with the COVID vaccine, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently expanded eligibility for updated booster shots to children as young as six months old. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), by the end of August 2022, only about five percent of children up to age four had received a COVID shot.8

A large retrospective cohort study conducted by researchers in Germany and the University of Virginia compared the incidence of shingles among individuals who did and did not get a COVID-19 shot and found a statistically significant difference providing evidence for an association between COVID vaccinations and increased risk for developing shingles or herpes zoster (HZ). The authors pointed out that “an association of HZ with COVID vaccination has been reported worldwide” and concluded that “the eruption of HZ may be a rare adverse reaction to COVID shots,” noting that varicella zoster (VZ), or chickenpox, reactivation is a well-established phenomenon both with infections and with other vaccines.”
Shingles is caused by the HZ virus and appears as a blistering, painful rash that occurs when VZ, the virus that causes chickenpox, is reactivated and moves to the nerves of the skin, where it produces the painful shingles rash. Like other herpes viruses, VZ lays dormant in the nervous system until it is reactivated.1 Elderly persons 60 years and older are more likely to develop shingles, especially if they are not asymptomatically boosted throughout life by coming in close contact with children recovering from chicken pox infections.23 About 20 percent of those who recover from shingles suffer from post-herpetic neuroglia lasting from months to years.4
Certain events can trigger the onset of shingles, including the natural decline of immunity that comes with age, stress, drugs, and vaccines.5 Recently, there have been widespread reports of the VZ virus reactivating after receiving a COVID shot, especially with messenger RNA (mRNA) technology such as Pfizer/BioNTech’s Comirnaty and Moderna/NIAID’s Spikevax biologics.6
Some experts have speculated that the link between the reactivation of varicella zoster and COVID shots could be due to the changes in immune system function after vaccination. Risk factors for getting shingles include being older, undergoing severe stress, and having a weakened immune system.
Study Included Millions of People Who Did and Did Not Get COVID Shots
The study looked at real-world data of 1,095,086 people, who received a COVID shot compared to 16,966,018 people who did not get the shot and visited a clinic within the TriNetX Global Health Research Network database. The Network database aggregates data from multiple healthcare centers across 19 countries and the subjects were matched for age and gender. The vaccinated group visited the clinic for the purpose of being vaccinated, while the unvaccinated group went to the clinic for another reason.
Study results revealed that the vaccinated group had a 20 percent chance of coming down with shingles post-COVID vaccination while the unvaccinated group had 11 percent odds of developing the painful virus within 60 days of visiting the clinic. The study authors concluded that the difference was statistically highly significant.7
The authors wrote:
Consistent with the hypothesis, a higher incidence of HZ was statistically detectable post-COVID-19 vaccine. Accordingly, the eruption of HZ may be a rare adverse drug reaction to COVID-19 vaccines.8
SARS-CoV-2 Infection Can Also Trigger Shingles
The SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is known to cause lung and heart problems, has also been found to cause shingles. Numerous case reports indicated that SARS-CoV-2 infections could trigger reactivation of the VZ virus and researchers have hypothesized that it is linked to the physical and psychological stress of the body trying to deal with the SARS-CoV-2 infection.9
The journal Open Forum Infectious Diseases published a large study in 2022 comparing 400,000 people who had SARS-CoV-2 to 1.6 million people who have not had the viral infection. Adults over the age of 50 who had been infected with SARS-CoV2 had a 15 percent higher chance of coming down with shingles within the next six months. Patients who had severe cases of COVID requiring hospitalization had a 21 percent risk of developing shingles.10
Another Study Indicates Shingles May be a Side Effect of COVID Shots
A study published by Israeli researchers in 2021 in the British Society of Rheumatology showed that shingles could be a side effect of COVID shots. The observational study evaluated adverse events following COVID vaccination in subjects suffering from an autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic disease (AIIRD) and compared 491 patients with AIIRD to 99 control subjects, all of whom received a COVID shot in two rheumatology departments in Israel.1112
In the AIIRS group, six female subjects developed shingles post-vaccination (1.2 percent) compared to zero subjects developing shingles in the control group. Five of the six women came down with shingles after the first COVID shot and one after the second dose. All shingles cases were mild and resolved within six weeks.13
Patients Who Received Three Different COVID Shots Developed Shingles
This year, the journal Family Practice also published a report of three case studies of patients (one male, and two females), who came down with shingles three to 13 days after receiving three different types of COVID shots.14 All three patients were between 67-79 years old, were overweight or obese and had hypertension and dyslipidemia (abnormal amount of lipids in the blood) in their medical history. One patient had recovered from a SARS-CoV-2 infection a year before receiving a COVID shot and did not develop shingles following that COVID infection. All patients received different COVID shots, including Comirnaty, Spikevax, and AstraZeneca/Oxford University’s Vaxzevria, and all three completed the series of three doses despite developing shingles after the first dose.15
Study authors hypothesized surmise that “an altered immune landscape involving cellular immunity might be implicated in this phenomenon.”16
Immune System Depression Post Vaccination May Set Stage for Reactivation of Varicella Virus
A May 2022 study looked at 10 case studies of shingles that occurred one to three weeks after COVID vaccination. The authors speculated that similar to COVID infections, transient immunomodulation following vaccination could result in the reactivation of the HZ virus. More specifically, they proposed that lowered counts of CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, and natural killer cells could set the stage for the reactivation of HZ and the development of shingles.17
Complications from shingles include postherpetic neuralgia; ophthalmicus (painful rash in the fifth cranial nerve shared by the eye); acute retinal necrosis (death of eye tissue); Ramsay Hunt syndrome (facial paralysis near the ear and hearing loss); Bell’s palsy and Guillain-Barré syndrome, which involve paralysis of the face or limbs); encephalitis (brain inflammation), aseptic meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain) and myelitis (inflammation of the spinal cord); peripheral motor neuropathy (damage to nerves that control muscles), and bacterial skin infection.18
The study authors noted that reactivation of the herpes virus is a rare complication of other vaccines, most notably influenza, hepatitis A, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, and yellow fever vaccines and that, while research is limited so far, the COVID shots can likely be added to this list. They warned:
Vaccination initiatives for COVID-19 are in full swing. Given the large number of people who will be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2, a possible causal link could result in a large number of cases among the elderly, with devastating consequences. Post-marketing surveillance procedures must be in place, and ongoing vaccination safety assessments are critical for detecting any occurrence that could reduce the projected benefits and, as a result, taking obligatory action to reduce hazards amongst vaccinated people…Our findings necessitate a further investigation of the possible relationship between COVID-19 and herpes zoster in the context of vaccinating elderly and/or immunocompromised people.19
A Decrease in Lymphocytes May Play Role in Shingles Post Vaccination
COVID is known to cause lymphopenia, a condition whereby blood doesn’t have a sufficient number of lymphocytes (white blood cells) to help the immune system protect the body from infection.2021 Symptoms of lymphopenia may include swollen lymph nodes, spleen, and joints; fever; skin rash; frequent infections or inability to heal from an infection. All types of white blood cells decrease but CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes tend to decrease the most and this T-lymphocyte impairment could lead to shingles.
The Pfizer/BioNTech COVID mRNA shot trials showed that there was a dose-dependent decrease in lymphocytes in the first few days after receiving the shot. At the currently used dose, up to 46 percent of the trial study participants had a transient decrease in lymphocyte count to below 1×10.9 The trial authors speculated that it is during this window of time when lymphocyte counts are lowered that the VZ virus can reactivate in the body.22

The idea that a person in need of a life-saving surgery would be denied that procedure by a doctor or a hospital administrator simply because the individual opted out of getting a COVID-19 shot seems surreal. It sounds unethical at the very least, criminal at worst, and certainly not something that one would imagine could happen in America. Yet, hard as it is to believe, this medieval-sounding scenario distinguished by callous disregard for human life has been played out on numerous occasions in the United States during the past two years.1234567891011
In one highly publicized case, Leilani Lutali of Colorado Springs was denied a kidney transplant by the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora until she and her donor agreed to be injected with COVID shots. In North Carolina, Chad Carswell of Burke County was also denied a kidney transplant by Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem until both he and his donor agreed to get COVID shots.1235678910
In Ohio, unvaccinated Michelle Vitullo was denied a liver transplant by the Cleveland Clinic. In Washington, unvaccinated Derek Kovick was also denied a liver transplant by the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. In Massachusetts, unvaccinated DJ Ferguson was denied a heart transplant by Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.47911
In a more recent case, 14-year-old unvaccinated Yulia Hicks was denied a kidney transplant by Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. The young girl, who is originally from Ukraine, suffers from a rare degenerative kidney condition known as Senior Loken Syndrome.1213
Yulia’s mother reportedly asked a hospital employee, “So basically you’re telling us if she does not get the vaccine, then she’s not getting a transplant?” and the employee responded, “Yes, that is the one thing that is holding us up.”1213 Mrs. Hicks said:
They said the CDC recommendation had been updated at the end of October, and they had to go by the recommendation, and if she didn’t get the vaccine she wouldn’t be getting a transplant at Duke.12
Yulia’s father added:
We’ve been up front the entire time we’ve been seen at Duke, for the last two years, that we were not comfortable with the vaccine, with the COVID-19 vaccine. And so they knew all along that we were not comfortable with this. And it wasn’t a requirement. It was… a recommendation, according to [the doctors] at first, until the very end.13
The father said that his daughter underwent a “nine-hour [medical] workup” in October and that that was when the doctors and hospital officials “decided or told us that this was going to be a highly recommended-slash-requirement for her to get a vaccine before she would get the transplant.”13
“There’s no sympathy whatsoever from any of them,” said Yulia’s mother. “It’s just strong-arming us: give her the vaccine, and you’ll get the transplant.”12
Some Organ Transplant Candidates Refuse COVID Shots Afraid of Life-Threatening Adverse Reactions
One of the concerns about the COVID vaccines (notably the mRNA shots) expressed by transplant candidates has to do with the risk of developing life-threatening inflammatory heart conditions known as myocarditis and pericarditis.14
The ethics of denying organ transplant candidates life-saving transplant surgery because they do not want to take the risk with potentially life-threatening medical interventions, such as vaccination, is the subject of heated debates. Which side you come down on may depend on your view of the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine being required as a condition of getting an organ transplant.
Yet, it is hard not to see at least some degree of cruelty and grim irony in condemning someone to death simply because they do not wish to be injected with a biological product like the COVID shot, which is known to cause severe adverse reactions, including fatal ones. It places people in desperate need between a rock and a hard place. It just seems wrong.
Some Surgeries Rejected for Fear of Transfusions With Blood ‘Tainted’ by Vaccination
Interestingly, while there are some unvaccinated (for COVID) people in need of an organ transplant who are being rejected for the surgery, there are also some unvaccinated people needing surgery who may be reluctant to have the operation for fear of receiving a blood transfusion that could contain blood donated by people who have gotten COVID mRNA shots.1516
“The problem is right now we have no choice,” said Swiss naturopath George Della Pietra, founder of the nonprofit SafeBlood Donation, which matches unvaccinated blood recipients with donors in countries around the world. “I get hundreds of emails asking me, ‘Do you have blood [available], because I have surgery coming up in three weeks,’” Della Pietra said.15
According to an article in the Independent Sentinel, Della Pietra and other unvaccinated people believe that the COVID mRNA shots “contaminate” the blood and cause the “eventual destruction of the immune system.” In short, they believe that blood may be harmful if received from vaccinated people.15
A good example of this occurred recently in New Zealand when the parents of a four-month-old boy refused an operation requiring a blood transfusion for their baby using blood from the New Zealand Blood Service (NZBS) because the blood supply would include blood from donors who had received COVID shots.16 An article published by The Vaccine Reaction last week noted:
The parents expressed grave concerns about using blood from donors who had received the COVID shots and said they had more than 20 unvaccinated people who agreed to donate blood to their son for the operation. However, the hospital where the operation would be performed insisted on using donor blood provided by NZBS, which does not separate blood taken from vaccinated and unvaccinated donors.16
“We don’t want blood that is tainted by vaccination. That’s the end of the deal,” said the child’s father. “We are fine with anything else these doctors want to do.”16
While donated blood and plasma must go through a cleansing process before all transfusions, SafeBlood Donation does not believe that the process removes all mRNA ingredients. “I’m talking about graphene oxide and nondeclared inorganic components in the vaccine, which we can see in the blood,” Della Pietra said. “When I see them, I have no idea how we can get rid of them again.”16
Della Pietra thinks that unvaccinated people are getting vaccinated “more or less through the back door… You cannot avoid it anymore.”16

A new study published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on Dec. 15, 2022, estimates that about six percent of the approximately 130 million people (about one in 18 individuals) who seek medical care in emergency departments (ED) in the United States each year are misdiagnosed. This translates into about 7.4 million misdiagnosis errors that cause unnecessary harm to some 2.6 million patients and leave an additional 370,000 patients permanently disabled or dead.12345
The study researchers from Johns Hopkins University, which reviewed 279 studies published between January 2000 and September 2021 to analyze the frequency and impact of diagnostic errors, found the rates of emergency department misdiagnosis to be similar to those observed in primary care and hospital inpatient care settings.235They also found that…
Put in terms of an average ED with 25,000 visits annually and average diagnostic performance, each year this would be over 1,400 diagnostic errors, 500 diagnostic adverse events, and 75 serious harms, including 50 deaths per ED.35
Stroke is the Most Misdiagnosed Condition
The following five conditions account for 39 percent of misdiagnosis-related harms: stroke, myocardial infarction, aortic aneurysm/dissection, spinal cord compression/injury, and venous thromboembolism. Stroke, which involves a blockage that stops the blood supply to the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts, is the condition that causes the most harm and is misdiagnosed about 17 percent of the time.12345
According to the study, the main causes of diagnostic errors in emergency departments are mostly “cognitive errors linked to the process of bedside diagnosis.”3 Additionally…
Malpractice claims associated with serious misdiagnosis-related harms involved failures of clinical assessment, reasoning, or decision making in about 90 percent of cases. Similar findings were seen in incident report data. These issues are not unique to the ED—they are seen across clinical settings, regardless of study method.3
“Not all diagnostic errors or harms are preventable, but wide variability in diagnostic error rates across diseases, symptoms, and hospitals suggests improvement is possible,” the study noted. “Scalable solutions to enhance bedside diagnostic processes are needed, and these should target the most commonly misdiagnosed clinical presentations of key diseases causing serious harms.”34
Misdiagnosis: The ‘Elephant in the Room’
The problem of emergency department misdiagnosis was described as “the elephant in the room no one is paying attention to” by professor of neurology David Newman-Toker, MD, Ph.D., director of Johns Hopkins’ Armstrong Institute Center for Diagnostic Excellence and one of the study’s researchers. It is part of a broader problem of medical errors involving the U.S. healthcare system, which account for 10 percent of deaths in the U.S. annually and some $20 billion in costs to the country.2678
In 2020, a white paper released by the Foundation for the Innovation and Development of Health Safety found that 20-25 percent of patients are harmed by medical errors in primary and outpatient care in the U.S. and Europe, as well as in many developing countries. The report found that 25 percent of preventable harm done to patients was caused by mismanagement in the way drugs were administered and that, in the U.S. alone, adverse reactions to drugs were responsible for nearly 700,000 emergency room visits and over 100,000 hospitalizations every year.9
The problem of medical errors leading to millions of deaths over the past decades is a long-standing problem in U.S. healthcare. In 2000, the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences, published a report To Err is Human: Building a Safer Health System, which revealed that medical errors in U.S. hospitals were a leading cause of death. Authors of the report said:
Experts estimate that as many as 98,000 people die in any given year from medical errors that occur in hospitals That’s more than die from motor vehicle accidents, breast cancer, or AIDS–three causes that receive far more public attention. Indeed, more people die annually from medication errors than from workplace injuries. Add the financial cost to the human tragedy, and medical error easily rises to the top ranks of urgent, widespread public problems.10
By 2016, Johns Hopkins University patient safety researchers reported that more than 250,000 deaths per year in the U.S. can be attributed to medical errors.711

The U.S. Census Bureau is in need of serious reform. The agency has one job to do. It is outlined in the Constitution. Count the population. In the last census, it got 14 states wrong. But as we have seen with recent bogus employment numbers released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics that misstated growth by, say, 99%, the U.S. government employees many people charged with counting who need to go back to watching Sesame Street. Or maybe they need to simply observe the Constitution and obey the law.
Their most recent interim Census Bureau report states, “Growth in Texas last year was fueled by gains from all three components: net domestic migration (230,961), net international migration (118,614), and natural increase (118,159).” No one wants to question the honesty, integrity, and intelligence that went into creating these numbers, but let’s do a little off-the-cuff math. The U.S. Border Patrol currently estimates that 10,000 illegal aliens cross the border from Mexico daily, not counting the unknown number of getaways. Presuming Mexico is a foreign country and therefore international, 10,000 goes into 118,614 about 12 times. Even if you accept a much lower number of illegals crossing into Texas, the Census Bureau number makes no sense unless you presume there are no longer 365 days in a year. Even if you accept only 2 million illegal crossings, are only 5% ending up in Texas? The Census Bureau may well argue they have a special way of scientific counting. Very special. One might call it precious.
Correcting possible fakery at the Census Bureau should be a top priority in the new Republican House of Representatives. Their bungling in the last census likely cheated the South out of congressional seats, while rotten boroughs in New York were overcounted. As long as the Census Bureau remains unreformed, a one-man-one vote, as decreed by the Supreme Court in the 1964 Civil Rights case Wesberry v. Sanders decision, is a dead letter. In that case, Democrats had ignored population losses in their strongholds to keep the upper hand in redistricting. Some things never seem to change.
Even with possible fudging, the Census Bureau’s latest interim report shows that Blue states are losing population while Red states are gaining population.
Increasing by 470,708 people since July 2021, Texas was the largest-gaining state in the nation, reaching a total population of 30,029,572. By crossing the 30-million-population threshold this past year, Texas joins California as the only state with a resident population above 30 million.
As in the old divide between Communist East Germany and free West Germany created by Konrad Adenauer after World War II, people migrate towards freedom. In the wake of the great Wuhan Pandemic lockdowns, it is no surprise that more people chose to move. Unlike Germany, there is no wall to prevent internal migration within the United States toward freer states.
The South is now the largest population area in the U.S. The Northeast and Midwest lost population “due to negative net domestic migration.”
“Florida was the fastest-growing state in 2022, with an annual population increase of 1.9%, resulting in a total resident population of 22,244,823,” adding about half a million new residents, mostly from internal migration.
“While Florida has often been among the largest-gaining states,” Kristie Wilder, a bureau demographer, said, “this was the first time since 1957 that Florida has been the state with the largest percent increase in population.”
“It was also the second largest-gaining state behind Texas,” according to the bureau.
“New York had the largest annual numeric and percent population decline, decreasing by 180,341 (-0.9%). Net domestic migration (-299,557) was the largest contributing component to the state’s population decline.”
New York was one of 18 states declining in population in 2022. California and Illinois “also had six-figure decreases in the resident population. Both states’ declining populations were largely due to net domestic outmigration, totaling 343,230 and 141,656, respectively,” the report said.
Both Red and Blue states appear to be doubling down on their governing strategies. Red states are increasing job opportunities, while Blue states look increasingly to the federal government to bail them out of the mess caused by fleeing taxpayers. This is why getting the numbers right will ensure citizens have a fair representation in Washington, D.C., going forward. Republicans need to expose the problem and act quickly before more left-leaning government math disenfranchises more people.

Earlier this month, an old video surfaced of Dr. Richard “Rachel” Levine, Joe Biden’s assistant secretary of health. The video, from the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in Washington, D.C., went viral because Levine inadvertently admitted everything wrong and predatorial about the transgender movement. Levine was secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health at the time the video was made, but it was nevertheless a revealing video, exposing just how evil the movement is.
On Monday, another video featuring Levine went viral, and it’s just as disturbing. It is not clear when the video was created, but it is a truly disturbing one that needs to be exposed.
In the video, Levine discusses the need to censor what he believes to be “health misinformation,” and says that health professionals have “a critical role to play” in that effort.
“We must continue and to expand their work to address health misinformation directly with their patients. Now, this includes but goes beyond COVID-19. So I’d like to just talk briefly about another area of substantial misinformation that is directly impacting health equity in our nation. And that is the health equity of sexual and gender minorities,” Levine, who pretends to be a woman, says with his manly voice and masculine features. “There is substantial misinformation about gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. We are in this nation facing an onslaught of anti-LGBTQAI+ actions at the state levels across the United States, and they are dangerous to the public health.”
The video, which appears to be a clip from an interview, features Levine wearing his uniform in front of a very poor green screen with “U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps” and the U.S. Public Health Service seal behind him.
“So we all need to work together to get our voices, um, out in the front line. We need to get our voices in the public eye. And we can know how effective our medical community can be in talking to communities, whether it’s town halls, schools, or conversations with others…. And we need to use our clinicians’ voices to collectively advocate for tech companies to create a healthier, cleaner information environment during a moment when public trust in our leaders in our information is very challenged. The healthcare worker community, the medical community does, I believe, maintain a high degree of trust and we had to utilize it effectively.”
In the previous video that went viral featuring Levine, he acknowledges that had he “transitioned” as a young person it may have been quicker and easier, but that he would never have had the chance to have children. “I have no regrets because if I transitioned when I was young, then I wouldn’t have my children. I can’t imagine a life without my children,” he admitted.
Levine clearly acknowledges that transitioning kids pushes them down a path to irreversible infertility. He wouldn’t trade his transitions later in life for his children, yet he’s not only advocating for young people to be mutilated and robbed of the joys of parenthood later in life, he’s also pushing for the censorship of voices who are speaking out against it—include us here a PJ Media.

The WHO is promoting a new video that targets “anti-vaccine activism” by blasting those who choose not to be vaccinated for supporting “anti-science aggression.”
The video features pediatrician and vaccine advocate Dr. Peter Hotez who laments the “devastating impact of misinformation and disinformation” regarding Big Pharma’s Covid shots.
Virologist Peter Hotez, the useful vector that the WHO uses to launch its attack, is a fat slob from whom no sane person would take medical advice. He admitted to Joe Rogan that he consumes fast food as the staple of his diet, with no regard for nutrition at all.
Here’s a challenge: find a single interview or publication from Public Health™ authority Peter Hotez discussing the negative public health impacts of unchecked obesity and the degradation of the American food supply.
Why would he concern himself with healthy food? Where’s the social control/profit angle for that? Where’s the career advancement angle?
Hotez, whose lab receives Gates Foundation money, has shilled for the vaccine passport/mandatory vaxx/lockdown agenda since the beginning of the pandemic because he knows where his bread gets buttered.

You have to understand: the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has had far more important things to do than worry about minor things such as, you know, homeland security. The agency has been too busy, too dreadfully, frightfully busy, to be concerned with enforcing the most elementary safety procedures and collecting security cards from employees who have left the organization. After all, what could possibly go wrong? What could a disgruntled former employee do at the wholly innocuous DHS that would cause any difficulty for anyone?
A report that was published Thursday from the DHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) stated that “the Department of Homeland Security did not always terminate personal identity verification (PIV) card access or withdraw security clearances for separated employees and contractors in accordance with Federal regulations and Department policies.” This negligence has been going on for at least four years: “In 2018, we identified weaknesses in DHS’ controls over PIV card collection, revocation, destruction, and management oversight.” Yet nothing has been done:
Many of the issues we previously reported remain, and further work is required to improve and enhance processes. Specifically, DHS has not prioritized ensuring that PIV cards are terminated when individuals no longer require access. We determined that, in thousands of cases, DHS did not promptly revoke PIV card access privileges or destroy PIV cards of individuals who separated from the Department. In addition, DHS did not always promptly withdraw security clearances of individuals who separated from DHS.
The report noted that it was impossible even to tell how big this problem is, but there are at very least “thousands” of problematic incidents: “We determined that, in thousands of cases, DHS did not promptly revoke PIV card access privileges or destroy PIV cards of individuals who separated from the Department.” But the problem could be much, much bigger than even that: “In addition, DHS did not always promptly withdraw security clearances of individuals who separated from DHS. Unfortunately, we could not determine the exact magnitude of the problem because records in DHS’ information systems were incomplete.”
This has potentially catastrophic consequences: “DHS cannot ensure only authorized individuals have access to its controlled systems and facilities. As a result, there is a risk that individuals who no longer require access to systems and facilities could circumvent controls and enter DHS buildings and controlled areas.”
Clearly, the DHS has been far too consumed with its duties to care about such trivial matters. Last spring, rather than worry itself about trivialities such as unauthorized people gaining access to areas containing sensitive or classified information, it rolled out the Disinformation Governance Board. According to the office of Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), “the Disinformation Governance Board was originally conceived in part to monitor domestic speech regarding ‘conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections’ and ‘disinformation related to the origins and effects of COVID-19 vaccines or the efficacy of masks.’” Even worse, “DHS planned for a partnership with Twitter to suppress disfavored content and planned a meeting with Twitter executives exploring the concept.” Now we know that Facebook and Twitter were meeting with DHS regularly to discuss what opinions Americans held that should be censored.
So you see: DHS had important censorship work to do, so as to make sure that as few Americans as possible had access to any information that departed from what Biden’s handlers wanted us all to believe and accept as true. It couldn’t possibly spare any time or personnel from that gargantuan, deeply patriotic effort to take care of something so trivial as ensuring that a criminal or terrorist wouldn’t be able to gain access to information that could lead to lives or fortunes lost and lives destroyed. For that, we would need a security agency, and it’s clear that at least during the misrule of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, DHS is anything but a security agency. It’s an enforcement arm for the regime, and a foe of the freedom of speech, not a security agency.
DHS was established in the wake of 9/11 to coordinate activities among the government’s various security agencies. It had signally failed in this mission, as the agencies still often operate at cross purposes with one another, and now compounding the problem is the corruption of the DHS into a weapon of partisan politics and the Left’s advancing authoritarianism. Maybe a future president will have to establish a security agency to coordinate activities among the government’s various security agencies. And then the whole corrupt cycle will begin again.

“Herdsmen, Other Terrorists Slaughter 46 Christians in Nigeria,” Morning Star News, December 23, 2022:
ABUJA, Nigeria (Morning Star News) – Suspected herdsmen and other terrorists killed 46 people Sunday night to Wednesday (Dec. 18-21) in attacks in predominantly Christian areas of southern Kaduna state, sources said.
Attacks by Fulani herdsmen and other terrorists on Malagum and Abun (Broni Prono) villages in Kaura County Sunday through Tuesday (Dec. 18-20) left 38 people dead in the predominantly Christian communities, said Luka Biniyat, spokesmasn for the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU).
“It is with heavy heart and deep sense of loss that we announce the gruesome, mass murder of not less that 38 harmless, unarmed villagers,” Biniyat said in a press statement. “The killings, which lasted long, started around 11 p.m. Sunday night. Not only were these, poor innocent citizens killed, not less than 100 houses were razed, with some victims burned alive.”…
“Apparently, the security forces deployed there did nothing under this glaring potential threat to security,” he said. “Especially as this dastardly act is coming five days after armed herdsmen herded their cattle into a farm owned by Cletus Dunia, 45, in Kpak village, a sub-unit of Kagoro, in Kaura LGA, and shot him dead at close range before mutilating his corpse.”
The herdsmen also shot and killed Levi Zakaria, 19, as he was harvesting yams on a farm on the route taken by herdsmen, who also killed 16-year-old Ezra Sunday about two kilometers away, he said.
“The same herdsmen caused the death of Gaje Habila, 31, when he fell and died of exhaustion while escaping the killer herdsmen, leaving behind a widow and a 6-month-old baby,” Biniyat said.
In southern Kaduna state’s Zangon Kataf County on Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 20-21), armed herdsmen invaded homes in predominantly Christian Kamuru village, Ikulu Ward, and killed four persons, he said.
“This is to say that 46 persons were killed in unprovoked attacks in southern Kaduna in the past five days,” he said.
The slaughters follow attacks that have displaced thousands of people from their ancestral homes since 2019, he said.
“Let it be put on record that in the hundreds of attacks that have put many parts of southern Kaduna into ruins and killed thousands since 2014, we have not seen anyone arrested and brought to book over these heinous crimes against humanity,” Biniyat said. “Instead, it is southern Kaduna traditional leaders, clergy and human right activists that do get arrested and put in prison over trumped-up allegations of ‘incitement.’”
Local Council official Mathias Simon confirmed that four Christians were killed in Zangon Kataf County.
“Aside from the four Christians killed, four others also were injured during the attacks by the herdsmen and terrorists,” Simon told Morning Star News in a text message, adding that area Christians have no way of stemming the attacks “but must remain steadfast in prayers and be watchful in order to keep our communities safe.”
Bawa Emmanuel, a youth leader in Kaura County, also confirmed the slaughters.
“Attacks on Kaura LGA have been consistent and multi-dimensional with the efforts of the security operatives and government not seen or felt,” Emmanuel told Morning Star News in a text message.
Numbering in the millions across Nigeria and the Sahel, predominantly Muslim Fulani comprise hundreds of clans of many different lineages who do not hold extremist views, but some Fulani do adhere to radical Islamist ideology, the United Kingdom’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom or Belief (APPG) noted in a recent report.
“They adopt a comparable strategy to Boko Haram and ISWAP [Islamic State West Africa Province] and demonstrate a clear intent to target Christians and potent symbols of Christian identity,” the APPG report states.
Christian leaders in Nigeria have said they believe herdsmen attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt are inspired by their desire to forcefully take over Christians’ lands and impose Islam as desertification has made it difficult for them to sustain their herds….

Business Insider has exposed the level of corruption in the U.S.-backed Afghanistan government. Among the biggest questions that arise is this: How much money did Afghan President Ashraf Ghani leave with, and how much hard-earned American taxpayer cash was among the money that was smuggled out of the country?
Consider the fact that Ghani met with Biden in June 2021, less than eight weeks before Ghani fled the capital amid the collapse of the US-backed government. Although it’s a mystery what Ghani left with, information points to him being a beneficiary of the smuggled assets.
Even as the collapse loomed, the Biden administration continued to pour billions of dollars into Ghani’s government and boasted about the US-Afghan relationship. The investigation into the Afghan corruption points to full knowledge on Biden’s part. So who will now continue this investigation, not only into Ghani (which lead to death threats to the investigator), but particularly into Biden’s knowledge and possible complicity? Not only have large amounts of American cash been lost in Afghanistan, but billions of dollars worth of weaponry was also left behind.
Shocking levels of corruption keep on getting exposed in the Biden administration, which includes the loss of staggering amounts of cash in Afghanistan, cash that could have been used to turn around the American economy. Instead, Biden is keeping the Southern border open, only adding to the financial burden of American citizens, as well as inevitable security costs related to the criminal element that is entering the country.
Biden has now pledged “unlimited” spending to Ukraine. Clearly, he thinks America has unlimited financial reserves. What about American interests?
“Exclusive: Afghan government officials helped smugglers sneak almost $1 billion in cash and gold out of Afghanistan as the US-backed government neared collapse, documents show,” by Mattathias Schwartz and Edris Lutfi, Business Insider, December 20, 2022:
During the final months of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as the Taliban advanced on the capital, the elected government struggled to reassure its US patrons that it could maintain control. Yet at the same time, smugglers were illegally carrying hundreds of millions of dollars in cash and gold out of the country with the assistance of officials from within the Afghan government, according to internal government documents and former Afghan officials.
The office of Ashraf Ghani, the US-backed Afghan president, had been informed about the problem, insiders say. But it did nothing to stop it.
Documents assembled by Afghanistan’s now-defunct government and obtained by Insider show that $59.7 million in cash and gold went from Afghanistan to Uzbekistan through the port of Hairatan during the first three months of 2021, as the US contemplated withdrawing its forces and the Taliban geared up for the spring offensive that eventually toppled Kabul. During a 13-month period running from May 2019 through May 2020, the total was a staggering $824 million.
Though the couriers failed to declare the money to Afghan officials as it left the country, Uzbek customs agents on the other side of the border did record the cash and gold on handwritten customs forms. Those records were obtained by Afghan anti-corruption officials as part of an investigation into money smuggling, and they form the basis of a scathing report documenting a river of cash flowing out of the impoverished nation.
Much of the money, the Uzbek customs forms show, was bound for the United Arab Emirates, where top Afghan officials would flee when their government collapsed later that year.
Gold and cash totaling four percent of Afghanistan’s GDP was smuggled through one border crossing Situated on a river with one bridge crossing, Hairatan is the highest-volume customs port in Afghanistan. Insider obtained 457 pages of customs records showing that more than $824 million in cash and gold illegally crossed the border there during the second half of 2019 and the first half of 2020 — roughly four percent of Afghanistan’s GDP and more than the total amount of humanitarian assistance that the US government was providing to the country each year. In early 2021, as the new US administration was evaluating a sped-up withdrawal plan, between $500,000 and $1 million was passing through each day, the documents show.
The smuggling flouted Afghan laws requiring travelers to declare cash or gold worth $10,000 or more and a strict ban on exporting $20,000 or more. The Uzbek customs forms don’t specify who the money belonged to or how the smugglers obtained it, but such a large and illicit flight of capital out of the country was one of many warning signs that the Afghan government’s survival could be in jeopardy.
The documents accuse Mirza Mohammad Katawazai, the former deputy speaker of Afghanistan’s parliament, of directing the smuggling ring with the help of a network of Afghan intelligence officials, border guards, and port officials. (Katawazai has denied previous allegations of smuggling ties.) They also accuse Ata Mohammad Noor, the former governor of Balkh province, where Hairatan is located, of providing security for the smugglers and issuing threats to potential competition. The documents identify the two men as being part of the 2021 smuggling ring; they do not allege who was behind the $824 million smuggled in 2019 and 2020….
American officials spent the first months of 2021 publicly extolling the durability of Ghani’s government, which would collapse almost immediately upon the US exit in August. But in private, they were airing serious concerns about corruption. On March 31, 2021, diplomats from the US Embassy in Kabul met with an Afghan government delegation that included members of the team investigating the Hairatan smuggling. According to notes of the meeting obtained by Insider, the Americans told their Afghan counterparts that corruption could only be stopped “if there is will” and expressed concerns about corruption “at the inner circle of the President.”
Meanwhile, the Biden administration continued to pour billions of dollars into Ghani’s government and spoke publicly about an enduring US-Afghanistan partnership. Even after Biden announced in April 2021 that the US military would leave the country by September, the official US plan was to continue funding Ghani’s government, having already spent $2.3 trillion on the war and $145 billion on reconstruction….
Those in Ghani’s inner circle appear to have prospered during their time in power. In June, the Wall Street Journal reported that the former president’s ministers have been snapping up rental properties in California and villas in the UAE, where the bulk of the smuggled money was headed. The UAE is also the home of Ghani and Noor, the former provincial governor with alleged ties to the Hairatan smuggling ring.
