WARNING PARENTS: PA School Board Members Unite With Marxists to Defend Critical Race Theory

The webinar headlined “Our Revolution PA: Understanding Critical Race Theory”, was designed to help officials “rebut” objections to the false CRT narrative.

On August 7, 2021, school board members and other Pennsylvania officials took part in an online seminar hosted by a front group for America’s largest Marxist organization, the Democratic Socialists of America, in order to protect and defend Critical Race Theory (CRT).

Aspiring, current and former school board members included Josh Laird (Adams County), Bill Wood (Avon Grove School District), Lisa Longo (Phoenixville), Rebecca Britton (Downingtown), Monica D’Antonio (Norristown), Elizabeth Dunn (Pittsburgh), and Jennifer Gross (School Director, Bucks County).

The webinar headlined “Our Revolution PA: Understanding Critical Race Theory”, was designed to help officials “rebut” objections to the false narrative that America’s institutions are inherently racist. “Join us, August 7th, for a discussion about Critical Race Theory. We’ll explain how you can effectively rebut this manufactured and opportunistic right-wing media talking point,” the invitation said in part.

Throughout the event, Kimberle Crenshaw and Derrick Bell were featured on screen with the quote:

“Through the study of law and U.S. history, [Critical Race Theory] attempts to reveal how racial oppression shaped the legal fabric of the U.S. [It] is traditionally less concerned with how racism manifests itself in interactions with individuals and more concerned with how racism has been, and is, codified into the law.”

While the quote attempts to explain CRT, it makes the unconscionable leap that racism is embedded in America’s legal system. Attendees had difficulty defending CRT and appeared to be much more comfortable bashing detractors by misrepresenting their objections. According to the CRT defenders, white people object only because they are afraid of demographic changes, losing power, losing money, etc.

The problem that honest people have with Critical Race Theory and similar concepts is that they are entirely based on the dangerous false premise of systemic racism.

In addition to Our Revolution leaders, attendees included:

  • Josh Laird, who serves on the school board in Adams County, Pennsylvania,  
  • Zinn Education Project organizer Tamara Anderson, who teaches at West Chester University in the Education Policy Department.
  • State Representative Brian Sims, who received national news coverage in 2019 for harassing an elderly woman, as well as a mother and her two daughters outside a Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia,
  • Associate professor of history at the University of Pittsburgh Lara Putnam (who does not appear to have attended),
  • Maurice Baynard, Visiting Assistant Professor, Critical Studies at University of the Arts,
  • Karyn Hollis, a member of Our Revolution who teaches Critical Race Theory at Villanova University,
  • Bill Wood, School Board member running for re-election in the Avon Grove School District,
  • Lisa Longo, former Board President of the Phoenixville Area School District,
  • Rebecca Britton, Downingtown Area School Board Vice President,
  • Monica D’Antonio, Norristown Area School Board Director,
  • Elizabeth Dunn, Candidate for Shaler Area School Board,
  • Jennifer Gross, Quakertown Community School Director

Critical Race Theory and similar doctrines are Marxist-devised concepts designed to harm America. It is not about teaching “real history.” If Critical Race Theory was really about teaching “real history,” than surely students should be taught about the racist history of the Democrat party.

Muslim Congressional Candidate Attends Radical Mosques, Singles Out Israel for Attack

Barbara Sharief says Islam is peaceful religion, then cavorts with terror-linked Islamists.

Broward County Commissioner Barbara Sharief has the distinction of having been Broward’s first black female mayor and first Muslim mayor. For the past 12-plus years, since she has held different elected political offices, she has, for the most part, kept a distance between herself and Islamist groups, of which there are many in South Florida. In fact, in 2016, it was reported that Sharief had not “been in a mosque since she was a teenager.” As a current candidate for US Congress, though, things have changed, as she now appears to have embraced radical Islam in a big way. This article was written to expose the potential danger she poses to the community.

Barbara Muhammad Sharief, in her youth, had a close relationship with the Nation of Islam (NOI), the black separatist group headed by rabid anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. Sharief had been a student at NOI’s Clara Mohammed School (CMS), located in Miami, and she, her mother Bobbie, and her late father James, had been active members of Masjid Al-Ansar (MAA), the mosque where the school was and still is housed and where boxing champion Muhammad Ali reportedly worshiped during his earliest days as a Muslim. According to the South Florida Times, Sharief gives “credit for her success in part… to the Clara Mohammed School system.”

This past April, Sharief, in her capacity as Broward Commissioner, read and presented a proclamation to representatives of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) designating April as ‘Muslim Heritage Month.’ The ceremony was held at the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF). In April 2014, IFSF hosted a talk by Mazen Mokhtar, a former admin for the now-defunct al-Qaeda recruitment site, qoqaz.net, and supporter of suicide bombings. IFSF’s ex-Youth Director Abdur Rahman al-Ghani, on Facebook, called Jews “demonic” and the US the “World’s Number One Terrorist Organization.” He threatened, Islam “will overtake the world in numbers.”

Speaking at Sharief’s IFSF event was Samir Kakli, President of the South Florida Muslim Federation (SoFlo Muslims), an umbrella organization for the majority of South Florida’s radical Muslim groups. One mosque the Federation harbors, Masjid Jamaat Al-Mumineen (MJAM), promotes on its website material referring to Jews and Christians as “the enemies of Islam” and advocating female genital mutilation, death punishments for homosexuals, and the stoning of women. MJAM’s imam, Izhar Khan, who sits on the Federation’s Council of Imams, was alleged by the FBI to have helped finance the Taliban for the purpose of murdering US troops overseas.

In May, Sharief did a video greeting to wish the Muslim community blessings during the holiday, Eid. While such a message would normally be viewed as innocuous, this particular one included an assault on Israel. She said, “This is a time where we should reflect and pray for those… who are under attack. Palestine needs our help and they need our support, and it’s unacceptable to have a place of worship be attacked.” No doubt, her words were reference to Israeli security entering al-Aqsa, and without getting into the false implication of her statement, her singling out Israel for condemnation was an anti-Semitic message to Islamists that she stands with them.

In June, Sharief was interviewed by Shafayat Mohamed, the imam of the Darul Uloom mosque, located in Pembroke Pines. In July, she spoke at the mosque. Darul Uloom has been a haven for high-profile terrorists. “Dirty Bomber” Jose Padilla was a student of Mohamed’s at Darul Uloom, and now-deceased al-Qaeda commander Adnan el-Shukrijumah was a prayer leader there. Mohamed, himself, was thrown off a number of community boards for his public vitriol against homosexuals. In February 2005, Darul Uloom published an article written by Mohamed, titled ‘Tsunami: Wrath of God,’ claiming that gay sex caused the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

The past two months, prominent members of the Muslim community have been holding private affairs for Sharief, including a July ‘Meet & Greet.’ Attending the events and posing for photos with Sharief was COO of ICNA Relief Abdul Rauf Khan, who is an avid fan of Louis Farakhan and has used Facebook to target Jews and gays. ICNA or the Islamic Circle of North America is the American arm of South Asian Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). ICNA continues to promote domestic violence against women on its Why Islam (WI) website, and ICNA has spent 30-plus years harboring Ashrafuz Zaman Khan, a former death squad leader wanted for murder.

In May 2011, following the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden by US Navy SEAL Team Six, Sharief was interviewed by the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel about her thoughts on the matter. She spoke of a negative “perception that bin Laden and 9/11 gave to the religion of Islam.” She told the publication, “What he did was completely opposite of what Islam and what its people stand for. Islam is a very, very laid back and very accepting religion... Peace and friendliness and cohesiveness is something I think that the Islamic community looks for.”

While this may very well be Sharief’s opinion, and she is certainly entitled to it, her actions, in cavorting with those from the Muslim community who are linked to bigotry and violence, make the commissioner out to be a total hypocrite. Indeed, the individuals and groups Sharief has been associating with epitomize – and this author uses Sharief’s own words – the “complete opposite” of the “peace and friendliness and cohesiveness” she speaks of.

Barbara Sharief is running for US Congress, one of the most powerful positions in our nation. If she wins, she will represent local communities throughout South Florida. Yet, because of her extremist affiliations, Sharief may actually be a threat to those same local communities and the nation in general. If local and national security mean anything to the voters of Florida Congressional District 20, their votes must go elsewhere.

Brown Jr., the Air Force also now produces official videos promoting CRT struggle sessions and the idea that all enlisted men must confront their “unconscious bias.”

Warning: Cleveland Islamic Mayoral Candidate Basheer Jones is a National Security Threat

During an interview with a terror-tied Imam, Jones admitted that he considers legislation in Ohio from the point of view of Sharia and Quranic law and not from the view of the United States constitution.

Basheer Jones’ 2020 campaign finance report raises numerous troubling issues, including potential violations of applicable laws. For example, among the many flagged irregularities identified by Sam Allard in Jones’ campaign, only two of the nearly seventy donors were identified by name as legally required. In addition, one of these anonymous donors contributed amounts that far exceed legally set maximum contributions:

One of the line items, however, was a $12,086 contribution made on Nov. 4. Regardless of the contributor, that far exceeds the maximum allowable contribution for Cleveland mayoral candidates. The cap was set by city council in 2016 at $5,000 for an individual and $7,500 for a political action committee. 

Jones has also made several questionable campaign expenditures to “International Muslim organizations and figures, including expenses likely related to his travels in Egypt and the sponsorship of a Muslim orphanage there and a Quranic school in Senegal.”

Basheer Jones Fights to Instill Sharia

During a controversial appearance on terror-tied Imam Suhaib Webb’s internet show, Jones expressed his devotion to sharia (Islamic law derived from the Quran and the hadith.) The mayoral candidate admitted to his mentor that he considers legislation in Ohio from the point of view of sharia and Quranic law, and not from the view of the United States constitution:

Basheer Jones is a Cleveland city councilman and a candidate for mayor of Cleveland in the upcoming September 14 primary election. He is also unusually forthright, even for a twenty-first-century Democratic politician, about his contempt for the land in which he seeks elected office.

Jones is a devout, observant Muslim, and already, according to CleveScene, his “personal religious beliefs and organizational ties have become linked with his campaign. Jones made a number of questionable campaign expenditures in 2020 to international Muslim organizations and figures, including expenses likely related to his December travel in Egypt and the sponsorship of a Muslim orphanage there and a Quranic school in Senegal.”

What’s more, “a recent controversial video shows Jones saying, ‘women are not our leaders.’” Jones, like Muslim spokesmen all over the Western world when confronted with statements that are politically inconvenient, insists that his words were “taken out of context.”

But that is not remotely the worst of it. On Sunday, the RAIR Foundation published an exposé on Jones that contained audio of Jones speaking on January 3, 2016, and making fun of Muslim immigrants who were thankful to be in the United States, and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

“Before 9/11,” Jones asserts, “our people, our brothers, and sisters from the immigrant communities, like, ‘America is a great place. Oh, it’s the land of the free, home of the brave.’ You’d see the imams, big imams, on the stage, singin’, you know.” Here the crowd starts to laugh softly; Jones chuckles a bit along with them and continues: “‘I pledge allegiance to the flag,’ you know, ‘this is the greatest place in the world.’ And we were tellin’ you, ‘Ah, no it’s not. Ah, we know about this place. This place, we know, we know that guy, somethin’ about him.’ And then 9/11 hit. Everybody started comin’ to us. ‘Brothers, please, come, come march with us, stand –’ Brother, we been tellin’ you, that they’ll change on you just like that, man.”’

Jones was apparently referring to American authorities supposedly turning on Muslim communities after 9/11 and subjecting them to “Islamophobic” counter-terror measures. In any case, his contempt for the grateful immigrants, and I-told-you-so implication that he had somehow been vindicated after 9/11 when America proved to be not so great a place after all, ought to have raised eyebrows among those who backed Jones for Cleveland City Council and are now supporting his mayoral ambitions.

There is no indication, however, that anyone was concerned in the slightest with their candidate’s anti-Americanism. We are, after all, talking about the Democratic Party. This is the party that stood by and did nothing when Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Kabul) tweeted: “We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban. I asked [Secretary of State Antony Blinken] where people are supposed to go for justice.”

Yes, that’s right: She equated the United States and Israel, both of which go out of their way to avoid civilian casualties, with jihad terror groups that target civilians and use them as human shields. As monstrous as her words were, they didn’t lower her stock among Democrats in the slightest degree. If anything, likening the U.S. to jihad terror groups made Omar even more of a rising star in the party than she was already. On Twitter, Leftists rushed to trash the U.S. and defend her, insisting that she was absolutely right to equate the United States military with bloodthirsty jihadis who murder little girls for going to the schools that the U.S. military built for them.

And so it is with Basheer Jones. Now that it is a matter of public record that he thinks it ridiculous to consider the United States “the greatest place in the world” and to pledge allegiance to it, he won’t drop in the estimation of far-Left voters in and around Cleveland. If anything, they will think more highly of him than they did before. For the Democratic Party’s core constituency, hatred of the United States and contempt for those who love this country is not a bug, but a feature.

In ordinary times, Basheer Jones’ statement would be something that should disqualify someone from elected office and drive him from public life forever. But these are not remotely ordinary times. Basheer Jones, mayor of Cleveland, is now a live possibility. And after that, the sky’s the limit. Governor Jones, Senator Jones, President Jones – why not? Hate America on the Left today, and you can write your own ticket.

 

 

 

 

ALERT: Communist Group Praises Biden ‘Eviction Moratorium’; Plans to Protest Local Realtor Group

The pandemic has presented an unprecedented opportunity for communist agitators to put a further wedge between landlords and their tenants and ultimately strip citizens of the American dream of home ownership.

A communist front organization that supports North Korea, Iran, China, Venezuela and Cuba is praising installed puppet Joe Biden’s unconstitutional extension of the so-called “Eviction Moratorium.” The radical group will be descending on the Alabama Association of Realtors in a protest planned Saturday at 2:00 pm.

The Party for Socialism & Liberation is using their front groups “Cancel the Rents” and the ANSWER Coalition to advertise the protest, which is being held along with the “Housing Justice League,” a socialist organization that sprang up from the Occupy Wall Street movement and works closely with the Atlanta chapter of America’s largest Marxist organization, the Democratic Socialists of America.

In an email sent to supporters, the Party for Socialism and Liberation said:

A national housing rights campaign, Cancel the Rents, will hold a protest rally to defend the federal eviction moratorium that was extended by the Biden administration on Wednesday. The Alabama Association of Realtors is the site of the protest because the AAR filed suit in federal court to try to overturn the moratorium. Over 15 million people are threatened with losing their homes from evictions or foreclosures.

Cancel the Rents is a nationwide movement that was initiated at the start of the 2020 pandemic to demand that the U.S. government cancel the rents and mortgages, and stop all evictions and foreclosures. Over the past year, it has organized several national days of actions in coordination with 50+ cities—including monthly car caravan protests.

Cancel the Rents organizer Estevan Hernandez said, “The Biden administration established a new moratorium under pressure from the millions of people who supported Cori Bush’s sit-in protest at the Capitol. The new moratorium is a victory but needs to be expanded to include the cancellation of rents and mortgages—including accumulated debt. The right to survive is more important than the protection of ‘private property’”.

“Real estate developers and large landlords are poised to reap profits through mass evictions, and millions risk being tossed in the street permanently. The two-month extension buys us some time. We will not sit by and allow this. We will mobilize others to fight back.

“All the housing and tenants rights organizations are working nationwide to build a movement to win housing justice!”

Radical leftist organizations believe the government should provide housing for all. The pandemic has presented an unprecedented opportunity for communist agitators to put a further wedge between landlords and their tenants and ultimately strip citizens of the American dream of home ownership.

The left seeks to bring down “capitalism.” Every action they take is motivated by discrediting “capitalism” to pave the way for socialism.

Since the pandemic started, books sales have shot up, as more parents found themselves looking for educational resources for their kids.

Now, a cartoon series is in the works, says Daniel Harmon, showrunner for the show and chief creative officer at Harmon Brothers. “We became the number one crowdfunded kid show in world history,” Harmon says.

At FreedomFest in South Dakota, we sat down with the two of them to discuss their vision for the series. The cartoon is expected to be released in October.
