Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says she will submit articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Friday.
The Georgia Republican's announcement came Thursday during an event with Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., in Iowa. A video of her comments was tweeted by RSBN.
"Yes I do have articles of impeachment drawn up to submit tomorrow," a smiling Greene told a cheering crowd. "Because I believe in firing people when they’re corrupt, and they do a bad job. And Joe Biden is failing America and he needs to be impeached."
Greene had previously announced she had filed articles of impeachment against Biden one day after he was sworn into office.
At the time, Greene had said she was citing in the impeachment papers Biden abusing his power while vice president by allowing his son, Hunter, to serve on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
"President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency," Green had said. "His pattern of abuse of power as President (Barack) Obama's vice president is lengthy and disturbing. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family's pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies."
Newsweek noted her latest comments come as Biden faces criticism over how the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan is being handled.
Greene has harshly criticized Biden over Americans who have been unable to leave Afghanistan, Newsweek reported.
In February, members of the House voted 230-199, with 11 Republicans siding with the Democrats, to remove Greene from the Education and Labor and Budget committees over comments she made on social media supporting QAnon theories in 2018.
Greene has called the move "hypocritical" to kick her off the committees over her comments on social media.

Donald Trump will hold what is expected to be the largest rally of his post-presidency Saturday.
Newsmax has learned the event at York Family Farms in Cullman, Alabama, will feature Trump delivering his most damning indictment of the Biden administration to date.
"Trump will be exposing President Biden's Afghanistan disaster," a knowledgeable source told Newsmax.
The outdoor rally will be hosted by the Alabama Republican Party and begin at 7 p.m. ET, with a crowd of at least 50,000 Trump supporters expected to show.
The former president is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. ET.
Newsmax will broadcast the Trump rally live to over 100 million U.S. television homes.
Cullman is in Alabama's District 4, Trump's best congressional district in the U.S. in 2016 and 2020.
"Donald Trump and the people of Alabama have a special relationship," Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl told WAFF-TV.
"The energy out there, the enthusiasm, just how much people are looking forward to this — that really helps me feed off of that energy and get the job done as we're working on this day and night to make this happen."
For the safety of those attending, the GOP will distribute free masks and hand sanitizer to whoever wants them, although the masks are not required to enter.
Trump held his first post-presidency rally June 26 at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio.
He followed that with a rally July 3 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds in Sarasota, Florida.
A third rally was staged July 24, at the Federal Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
Security at Saturday's event is expected to be ultra-tight with local and state law enforcement officers and Secret Service agents on hand to direct motorists.

The article openly admits that covid vaccines given to 2.5 billion people around the world no longer work very well and that the people who took those vaccines are now the ones getting sick and dying. From the story:
One of the most vaccinated societies, Israel now has one of the highest infection rates in the world, raising questions about the vaccine’s efficacy.
A fourth wave of infections is rapidly approaching the levels of Israel’s worst days of the pandemic last winter. The daily rate of confirmed new virus cases has more than doubled in the last two weeks, making Israel a rising hot spot on the international charts.
The vast majority of Israel’s older population had received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine by the end of February, and by now about 78 percent of the population 12 and older are fully vaccinated.
But some experts fear that Israel’s high rate of infections among early vaccine recipients may indicate a waning of the vaccine’s protections over time, a finding that contributed to a U.S. decision Wednesday to begin offering booster shots to Americans starting next month.
And among the fully inoculated, Israeli scientists have found growing evidence of waning immunity, particularly among the older population who were vaccinated first.
Data published by Israel’s Ministry of Health in late July suggested that the Pfizer shot was just 39 percent effective against preventing infection in the country in late June and early July, compared with 95 percent from January to early April… this scourge primarily took hold in well-vaccinated, middle-class suburbs.

Restaurant owners, gym owners, healthcare workers, teachers, and parents stood with San Diego County community leaders fed up with severe government-imposed COVID restrictions and confronted the San Diego County Board of Supervisors during a board meeting on Tuesday, August 17, just as the board is preparing to issue new response proposals to combat what it has deemed a “local health emergency.”
Should the board approve new recommendations put forth by local public health officials, San Diego County would be added to the expanding list of U.S. cities and counties instituting mandatory vaccine passports to enter restaurants and retail stores, and reinstating masking in schools and indoor public spaces.
On Tuesday, local media outlet KUSI news reported on the backlash from citizens, noting a community rally was held prior to the meeting, with the advocacy groups ReOpen San Diego, Let Them Breathe, and San Diego Rise Up providing the public with resources such as petitions and proclamations that businesses can display stating they are against the medical discrimination.

The nearly five-hour meeting largely consisted of public comments, where some 150 people addressed the board, following a public-health update by board health officer Dr. Wilma Wooten. Wooten presented data on vaccination rates and case-testing efforts in the county.
One constituent, Shaun Frederickson, called out Wooten specifically during his turn to address the board: “The numbers you stated are propaganda…. Last month … do you know how many deaths happened in the month of July? Wilma [Dr. Wooten]? Nathan [Board Chairman Nathan Fletcher]? Thirty six. How much propaganda are we going to use for the deaths of 36 people? How many rights are we going to take, and Nathan, how many lies are you going to continue to propagate?”
“There is already a recall effort started for one dictator, there will be another if necessary,” continued Frederickson, addressing Board Chairman Fletcher, referencing the recall election of Governor Gavin Newsom on September 14.
“Your authority is being pummeled…. We are here to inform you the people have spoken, COVID is over.”
San Diego County, with a population of 3.4 million, just below that of Los Angeles County, has reported 3,839 total COVID-related deaths, as of August 20 — a total fatality rate of 0.1 percent.
During her presentation, Dr. Wooten described the “more contagious and transmissible” Delta variant, noting that “vaccinated individuals can get Delta through a breakthrough infection and can be contagious,” but that “vaccinated people represent a very small number of transmissions across the country.”
Dr. Wooten went on to state that “since March 1, there have been a total of 13 COVID-19-related deaths among those that were fully vaccinated compared with 103 among those who were not fully vaccinated.”
Statistics from 2019-2020, covering roughly the same time span of six months, show that San Diego County reported 105 flu deaths.
Concerned citizens, such as Frederickson, whose speech at a previous board meeting went viral online, took to the podium on Tuesday to speak out against vaccination and masking requirements, stating “We are here, as your constituents, to tell you, this [COVID pandemic] is over. San Diego is no longer under your rule of thumb.”
Another speaker, eleven-year-old San Diego resident Olivia expressed her concerns, “this past year has been very difficult for me,” describing the closure of her school and church and the difficulty of adjusting to online learning. “Ridiculous rules [were] in place. We could only walk in one direction down the hallway…. I could barely hear my teacher through her mask. I couldn’t hug my friends or see their faces. It made me very sad to keep six feet away from them.”
Taking her turn at the podium to address the board, young Emily Archuleta said, “Whatever your political affiliation, we [Americans] all hold one thing near and dear to our hearts, the freedom of choice.” Yet “how is the choice to have a vaccine different? Mandating a vaccine to work is against our constitutional rights as Americans.”
San Diego resident Brittany Mayer led off a powerful speech by reminding the board that “America is not a hospital. California is not a hospital. San Diego is not a hospital. This is a constitutional republic that guarantees protection of individual freedom.” She continued, “We remove consent from treating us like we are patients in a hospital ward. We are done. The consent of the governed is removed. We will not comply. We do not consent. Nathan Fletcher you are on notice. We will constitutionally remove all petty tyrants beginning now!”
Directing her comments at Fletcher and Wooten, constituent Sharon McKeeman, a mother of four, a military wife, and the founder of the nonprofit Let Them Breathe said, “You have talked about cases rising, but what you didn’t talk about was suicide risings. You didn’t talk about mental health disorders that are deadly that we are seeing our families battle every day.”
Notably, back in December 2020, Dr. Chris Gordon, chief medical officer at the Family Health Centers of San Diego, reported “seeing higher incidents of anxiety, depression” and a 30-percent increase in patients seeking help during the COVID crisis. Over the course of the past year, millions of Americans have endured prolonged stretches of social isolation, with many relapsing into drug and substance abuse.
In response to the rising emotional and mental crises, Gordon said, “We have to understand our lives have been turned completely upside down and it’s ok to not feel good about that. It’s ok to feel sad, to feel anxious.”
According to CBS8 News, “San Diego County saw over a 200% increase in fentanyl overdose deaths just last year and now a San Diego recovery center says more than half of its new clients in 2021 are still struggling with opioid addiction.”
“Health officials predict that about 700 people will die from a fentanyl overdose in 2021 in San Diego County. Since July, the George Bailey Detention Center in San Diego has reported at least eight fentanyl overdose cases, with one person dying. Shoreline Recovery Center says right now, about 55% of their clients have opioid use disorders.”
The impact of the efforts of San Diego residents remains to be seen, but if Americans are to fight the larger battles ahead, we must first fight the small, local battles.
In San Diego County, the people are fighting. They are organized, prepared, and standing together for the purpose of taking back their community from county officials abusing the power of their duly elected positions. Under the present circumstances, the prescient words of the 19th-century psychologist Carl Jung come to mind:

Biden ghosted Johnson? Is that any way to treat a friend?
Not only did Presidentish Joe Biden leave UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the dark over “how it planned to withdraw [and] the pace of its withdrawal” from Afghanistan, Biden basically ghosted Johnson for 36 hours as the crisis unfolded in Kabul.
As Taliban forces swept through Kabul, threatening the lives of Americans and British subjects alike, Johnson tried frantically to reach Biden, but had to wait a day and a half for the notorious lid-taker to answer the call.
“Johnson tried to reach Biden on Monday morning, UK time, but wasn’t able to get him on the phone until 10 p.m. Tuesday (5 p.m. Washington time),” repeated BizNewsPost from a Daily Telegraph story (subscription required).
The White House has not responded to requests for comments on the report, nor much else, despite the ongoing chaos.
Biden left the Brits in the lurch, too, as the Telegraph reports:
With the Taliban now in charge of Afghanistan, the immediate priority of the British government is to evacuate the 4,000 or so UK citizens still in Afghanistan and the thousands of Afghans who have helped the UK over the past 20 years.
However, UK Defense Minister James Heappey admitted early on Friday that his country’s “air bridge” out of Kabul could be forced to close as soon as two days from now, stranding untold numbers of Brits and their Afghan allies.
The Times (UK) quotes Heappey saying, “It keeps absolutely everyone here at the Ministry of Defence awake at night — that reality that we won’t get absolutely everybody out.”
Maybe they could have been gotten out, if Biden had been honest with Johnson, PM of America’s strongest ally.
The official snub may have — as my friend and colleague Bryan Preston put it to me — destabilized the Johnson government.
Naturally, Johnson is taking heat in Parliament from opposition Labour MPs, but he’s also getting roasted by his fellow Tories.
Former Tory PM Theresa May blasted Johnson earlier this week, saying “The politicians must be responsible for the consequences.” There’s even some talk about ditching Johnson in favor of May, who was replaced by Johnson two years ago.
British politics are weird.
To sum up, Biden’s bungled bugout from Afghanistan has — so far — managed to:
Strengthen the Taliban
Embolden China
Humiliate ourselves and our staunchest ally
Weaken NATO
Cost untold numbers of lives, especially going forward
And, really, the fallout is just beginning. We’re only at the start of a long and ugly road.

On Wednesday, the Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis hosted a webinar entitled “Engaging White Christian Nationalism in Public Spaces.” One panelist was woke academic Jemar Tisby, author of a book entitled The Color of Compromise: The Truth About the American Church’s Complicity in Racism. Tisby claimed that “white Christian nationalism advocates for a fusion of Christianity with an American civic belonging that is unapologetically white in identity and politics.” He said that in response to the threat, “hashtag activism” isn’t going to be enough; what is required is “direct action, nonviolent protests and marches and, as we have seen already, people getting arrested.” Tisby may be happy to learn that the Taliban are already taking that direct action: They’re going door to door, hunting down Afghanistan’s Christians.
The day before this webinar, “leaders in the underground Church” in Afghanistan issued a chilling statement: “What we are witnessing right now is the decimation of the country and people of Afghanistan. We are watching twenty years of work and the strengthening of a nation being destroyed in a single day.”
The work they were referring to involved preaching Christianity in this Islamic nation. Now the Afghans who have converted to Christianity are in mortal danger. The statement continued: “The Taliban has a hit list of known Christians they are targeting to pursue and kill. The U.S. Embassy is defunct and there is no longer a safe place for believers to take refuge. All borders to neighboring countries are closed and all flights to and from have been halted, with the exception of private planes. People are fleeing into the mountains looking for asylum. They are fully reliant on God, who is the only One who can and will protect them.”
If they don’t find a place to hide, the consequences could be horrific: “The Taliban are going door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an ‘X’ if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family. If a married woman 25 years or older has been found, the Taliban promptly kill her husband, do whatever they want to her, and then sell her as a sex slave.”
When they find a suspected Christian, Taliban jihadis search his or her phone. Rex Rogers of SAT-7, a Christian media ministry to the Middle East and North Africa, said Tuesday: “We’re hearing from reliable sources that the Taliban demand people’s phones, and if they find a downloaded Bible on your device, they will kill you immediately. It’s incredibly dangerous right now for Afghans to have anything Christian on their phones. The Taliban have spies and informants everywhere.”
Rogers described the desperate situation of Afghanistan’s Christians: “Because it’s so dangerous to seek the company of other Christians, many Afghan believers are totally alone, with not even one other Christian with whom to talk. Our local director told me: ‘Most dare not attend a house church. They’re alone, fearful, and looking to us. We’re their last resort.’”
The Christians of Afghanistan are in such severe danger these days because virtually all of them are converts from Islam, and the Taliban are scrupulous about implementing Islamic law—and the death penalty for apostasy is very much part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper” (Qur’an 4:89).
A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.” That’s just what the Taliban are going door-to-door today to prevent. The woke academics in Indiana who are so worried about “Christian nationalism” will be relieved to hear that this scourge is being systematically removed from Afghanistan.
