LEFTIST TYRANTS OCCUPY SEATTLE NEIGHBORHOOD

★★★ A NEW CONSERVATIVE AGE IS RISING ★★★

Seattle’s ANTIFASTAN is a HUMILIATING DISASTER for DEMOCRATS! In this video, we’re going to look at how the left’s love affair with the new ‘Autonomous Zone’ in Seattle has not only become a laughing stock for most Americans but demonstrates precisely why the left, in the end, is ultimately only destroying themselves and guaranteeing Republican dominance for decades; you’re not going to want to miss this!

Welcome to the Revolution's "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone”

The Seattle Police Department decided to abandon one of their precincts in an effort to placate protesters after reportedly receiving threats that there would be attempts to burn it down. The leftists who seized the surrounding blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood renamed it the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.” The Seattle Police Department in the “liberated” zone was renamed the “Seattle People Department.” The radical occupiers issued their ultimatums entitled “THE DEMANDS OF THE COLLECTIVE BLACK VOICES AT FREE CAPITOL HILL TO THE GOVERNMENT OF SEATTLE, WASHINGTON.” They referred to the Seattle Police Department as a “terrorist cell.” A prominent Seattle neighborhood has surrendered to anarchy and lawlessness.

Here are a few highlights from the occupiers’ set of demands, which they say must be met before they consider ending their occupation:

·         “The Seattle Police Department and attached court system are beyond reform. We do not request reform, we demand abolition.” To eliminate any doubt, the “liberators” said they are demanding the elimination of “100% of funding.”

·         “We demand a retrial of all People in Color currently serving a prison sentence for violent crime, by a jury of their peers in their community.”

·         “We demand the abolition of imprisonment, generally speaking, but especially the abolition of both youth prisons and privately-owned, for-profit prisons.”

·         “We demand in replacement of the current criminal justice system the creation of restorative/transformative accountability programs as a replacement for imprisonment.”

·         “We demand autonomy be given to the people to create localized anti-crime systems.”

·         “We demand free college for the people of the state of Washington, due to the overwhelming effect that education has on economic success, and the correlated overwhelming impact of poverty on people of color, as a form of reparations for the treatment of Black people in this state and country.”

·         “We demand the hospitals and care facilities of Seattle employ black doctors and nurses specifically to help care for black patients.” In other words, racially segregated health care.

One of the occupiers intimidated a local Fox News affiliate reporter and a photographer trying to capture images of what was going on in the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. Between curses, he yelled “Don’t let them get an inch of space” and “You ain’t getting no shots.”

A self-described “anarchist. abolish whiteness, capitalism, and civilization” eyewitness described the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone as “an area where state authority has been consciously rejected.” She added that “the police have been pushed out, and people are free to self-manage.”

Assistant Police Chief Deanna Nolette said that she had heard “anecdotally of citizens and businesses being asked to pay a fee to operate within this area,” which she described as “extortion.” There have also been reports of "citizen checkpoints" being set up in the area. Local rapper Raz Simone, reportedly one of the leaders of the occupiers, denied that there was any extortion. This is the same guy who, armed with an AK-47 and a pistol, has taken it upon himself to provide his own brand of unaccountable security for the “people.”

President Trump tweeted, “Radical Left Governor  @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before. Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game.”

Seattle’s mayor, Jenny Durkan, apparently thinks it is a game. Instead of regaining control of her own city from the anarchists, Durkan responded, “Make us all safe. Go back to your bunker. #BlackLivesMatter.” Evidently, Durkan is not as concerned about protecting the lives of everyone else. Washington state Governor Jay Inslee tweeted, “A man who is totally incapable of governing should stay out of Washington state’s business.” This governor has been so clueless about developments in his own state that on June 10th he responded “that’s news to me” to a question about the occupied “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” in Washington state’s largest city.

Socialist Alternative Seattle councilwoman Kshama Sawant has been encouraging the anarchists. She declared, for example, that the takeover was a “victory” against “the militarized police force of the political establishment and the capitalist state.”

The lunatics are taking over the asylum, with Seattle in the vanguard. And the lunacy is spreading. Areas of Portland Oregon may become the next target for anarchists to occupy and build their own autonomous zone.

Calls are mounting around the country to defund the police. Minneapolis is already beginning down that path. "We committed to dismantling policing as we know it in the city of Minneapolis and to rebuild with our community a new model of public safety that actually keeps our community safe," Council President Lisa Bender told CNN. When she was asked who should a person call if someone broke into that person's home, Bender replied, “yes, I mean I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors. And I know — and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege.”

"Black Lives Matter means defund the police," the Washington D.C. branch of Black Lives Matter proclaimed. Not surprisingly Democrat-Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is on board with defunding the police. Many of her House Democrat colleagues, on the other hand, tried to avoid the issue for the moment by proposing sweeping changes in policing methods and calling for the diversion of some funds allocated for the police to social programs. The Democratic presumptive nominee for president Joe Biden claimed that he is opposed to defunding the police. He is trying to avoid as long as he can offending the many mainstream Americans concerned about their safety who support some sensible police reform but not abolition of the police. However, the progressive base of the Democratic Party will continue to move Biden and the party’s congressional leadership towards the extreme position of police defunding. They already have moved the party leftward on such issues as Medicare-for-All, free college tuition, and the Green New Deal.

When Democrats in the Senate had the chance to go on record opposing calls to defund the police, Senate Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer balked. Schumer decided on their behalf to block a resolution introduced on June 10th by Republican Senator Tom Cotton that called for justice for George Floyd while also opposing efforts to defund the police.

The non-binding resolution, which required unanimous consent to pass, acknowledged that “the United States has a troubled history of racism that includes slavery, the terror of lynch mobs, segregation, and Jim Crow, and that history leaves the United States with important work to accomplish.” It called Floyd's death at the hands of Derek Chauvin, the now-former Minneapolis police officer who is under arrest for murder, a "horrific act that violated the public trust and was inconsistent with the values and conduct expected of law enforcement officers." It added that "good law enforcement cannot exist without accountability and justice."

At the same time, however, the resolution urged against throwing the baby out with the bathwater. It stated that "defunding the police would leave police departments understaffed and undertrained, while also increasing the risk of violent crime to the communities of the United States." This should be a non-controversial statement for legislators to make in any sane civilized society. But it is too controversial for cowardly Schumer and his Democrat flock. They are too afraid of offending their party’s progressive base.

America’s house is divided between the majority who believe our constitutional republic is built on a strong foundation of ordered liberty worth preserving and a militant minority who believe it is built on a rotten foundation that must be completely dismantled. We can only hope that reason will prevail and America will be able to avoid another civil war.

The page is titled The Only Good Cops Are Dead Cops and openly incites violence against police officers.

However, when it was reported to Facebook moderators, they reviewed the page and said that although it may be “offensive,” it doesn’t violate any specific community standards.

500 Mom Strong was removed for “transphobic language,” including one post that merely stated, “Reminder: Women don’t have to be polite to someone who is making them uncomfortable.”

However, half a dozen other 500 Mom Strong parody pages set up by LGBT activists were left untouched.

“When I asked them about the half dozen other fake 500 Mom Strong pages that were put up by drag queens [and] used to parody 500 Mom Strong, I received no answer and the pages are still active,” said founder Anna Hall Bohach.

SEATTLE BLACK LIVES MATTER MAKE SIX BLOCK “COP FREE” AUTONOMOUS ZONE AFTER POLICE RETREAT

Left-wing insurgents riding the racial unrest resulting from the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis Police Department Officer have created a six-block “cop-free” zone in Seattle’s downtown, which they are governing as an autonomous area following the withdrawal of law enforcement.

Seattle police seemingly abandoned and boarded up the East Precinct Building on Monday night, making room for the crowd of agitators to put up barricades as a border for what they are calling the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.” Some of the barricades bear phrases such as “You are now leaving the USA,” “Welcome to Free Cap Hill,” and “No Cops Allowed.”

At the site of the protest, District 3 representative and longtime Durkan critic Kshama Sawant declared, “What we are seeing now is an uprising. A rebellion of young people. Not just nationwide but globally.”

Making her case for the mayor’s removal, Sawant said,

Two years ago, there was a police contract up for the vote. It was a bad contract. It was a racist contract. It was going to roll back the limited accountability measures that were hard fought for by community members. And the community spoke with one voice and pleaded — pleaded — with Mayor Durkan and the City Council, “Please vote no.” What do you think happened?

I was the only “no” vote on that contract. We have to remember that what built the movement is not people who are in power that may look like you or me. But it is people who have shown through their actions that they are in solidarity with ordinary people in marginalized communities.

Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reported, “Citywide representative Teresa Mosqueda, who attended Saturday night’s demonstration on Capitol Hill with other elected officials, joined Sawant in this call Monday, saying that Durkan should ‘ask herself if she’s the right leader and resign.’”

Durkan’s office responded that she remains committed to making “actual steps on policing” and other reform measures.

“As the person who originally investigated the Seattle Police Department for the unconstitutional use of force, Mayor Durkan believes that SPD can lead the nation on continued reforms and accountability, but knows this week has eroded trust at a time when trust is most crucial,” Durkan’s statement read.

The mayor banned the use of tear gas by police on Friday, but activists say the move is far from enough.

While Seattle police say they are still responding to 911 calls, the department has virtually abandoned the area after more than a week of clashes with rioters, during which authorities used blast balls, pepper spray, tear gas, and flash bangs to counter the glass bottles, rocks, and “explosives” hurled at them from the crowd.

Police Chief Carmen Best said her officers would take a different approach to law enforcement going forward.

The happenings in Seattle reveal the true nature and ends of the Marxist riots taking place under the guise of “racial equality.” They have nothing to do with George Floyd and everything to do with destroying the existing social order.

Those who wonder what will happen if localities throughout the country follow through with the demands to “dismantle” and “defund” the police should look no further than Seattle.

While the proponents of such measures, including the Democrat members of the Minneapolis city council, would have us believe that eliminating police would result in a utopian paradise in which social workers peacefully resolve every disturbance, the true consequences of such policies are, in fact, what we are witnessing in the Emerald City.

A desire for civil order is in our human nature. A lack of police creates a vacuum that must and will be filled by something. In Seattle’s East Precinct, that “something” is armed Antifa militants.

By the time the citizens receiving these Marxist revolutionaries as saviors realize that their new overlords are far less understanding than the police they ran out, it may be too late to go back.

SENATE REPUBLICANS WANT TO WORK WITH DEMOCRATS ON “POLICE REFORM”

BY LUIS MIGUEL

SEE: https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/35973-senate-republicans-want-to-work-with-democrats-on-police-reform;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Is bipartisanship something to be lauded when it’s a bipartisan betrayal of the Constitution?

Democrat and Republican leaders on the Senate Judiciary Committee appear to have found common ground on the issue of police reform as cities across the nation are rocked by protests, riots, and vandalism in response to the death of George Floyd.

While Senate leadership from both sides of the aisle deny they want to defund police — the demand being made by Black Lives Matter and related groups — they say they want to work together to involve the federal government in banning certain police activities.

The Judiciary Committee on Tuesday announced that they will take a closer look at police conduct at a June 16 hearing titled “Police Use of Force and Community Relations.”

Committee Chairman Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) both addressed the “police reform” issue on Tuesday, following Democrats’ unveiling of a bill designed to restrict local police departments’ response to crime.

“It sounds like a good thing,” Graham told reporters in response to a ban on chokeholds and similar techniques.

“I think a ban on chokeholds is appropriate,” Feinstein said earlier.

Both leaders claimed to be against actually defunding police.

“I just don’t believe in that as an answer — that you take money from a department. It would have to be crippled to have effect,” Feinstein said on the matter.

Graham echoed the California Democrats’ position: “I think it’s just affected people, the cumulative effect of it all,” he said. “People responding that we can do better — not defunding the police, but reforming the police is something we can manage.”

Graham’s statement sounds nice on paper: It’s the typical appeasement language that the Republican establishment has down to a “T.” Who could object to a statement that so delicately plays to the sensibilities of both sides? Of course we won’t defund the police; that would be irresponsible! But reforming the police...

A casual observer might say Graham and Feinstein are being reasonable. But the question for constitutionalists to ask is, why is the Senate Judiciary Committee talking about any kind of action on police in the first place?

Nowhere in Article 1 of the Constitution is Congress given the power to decide on the structure or practices of local law enforcement. Of course, proponents of having the federal government step in on local policing issues will cite a litany of federal laws and statutes passed over the years that do just that. And they’re likely to find a host of activist judges more than willing to use such precedent as grounds for even more federal involvement.

But lest we forget, the Constitution is much more clear than generations of establishment lawyers and legal scholars make it out to be: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Thus reads the 10th Amendment in language so direct there’s no room for misunderstanding (though that’s never stopped statists with a penchant for introducing ambiguity to the most simple and straightforward texts). The Constitution does not delegate the federal government power to control local law enforcement. Therefore, that power rightly belongs to states, counties, and cities.

Allowing Congress to pass “police reform,” as innocuous as the phrase may sound, is a slower way of getting to the global elites’ goal of a national police force than the abrupt tactic of defunding and dismantling local police outright; but it is a path toward the same end nonetheless.

The role of the Lindsey Grahams has always been one of controlled opposition. “Moderates,” trying to appear bipartisan, constantly try to meet progressives halfway. But taking half-steps to Hell will still get you there eventually. The Left knows they usually won’t be able to accomplish all they want in one battle. So they get the moderates to meet them halfway today. Tomorrow, they get the other half.

A true constitutionalist would refuse to cede at all on questions of constitutional integrity. He would say “This is a matter for the states” and leave the debate at that — not schedule a hearing.

Locally controlled police are essential to ensuring our freedom. From gun confiscation to lockdowns to forced vaccinations, the Deep Staters know they need police to enforce the tyrannical policies they seek. But they need police they can control uniformly throughout the country — police who take orders from them directly rather than from every individual city or county.

If bipartisan appeasers such as Lindsay Graham are the best Republican leadership has to offer, it’s time for new leadership.

MERIDIAN, IDAHO MOTHER ARRESTED FOR DEFYING MAYOR’S CLOSURE: ARRANGED KIDS’ “PLAY DATE” WITH OTHER FAMILIES AT PUBLIC PARK PLAYGROUND; AMMON BUNDY TAKES PART IN PROTESTS OUTSIDE CITY MUNICIPAL BUILDING & COP’S HOUSE

Sara Brady with kids

Sara's Story

On April 21st,  Sara Brady, mother of four, took two of her children to the park for a playdate with several other moms and their children. Shortly after arriving, three police officers arrived and stated that the playground was closed. Apparently the rest of the park, which included basketball courts, volleyball courts, picnic areas and benches, etc. were still open! All children and moms were ordered to leave the playground and congregate on the grass where they would have been in closer proximity and in violation of Idaho’s order to social isolate!

Sara attempted to question the officer, who is a supervisor, about what he was ordering everyone to do. Yet Sara was told to get off the bark and the officer threatened to arrest her.  When Sara continued to ask questions this was taken as a refusal to leave the park.  The officer then began counting down to her, like a child, and eventually arrested Sara for “trespassing” in a public park.

Since then, Sara’s case has been assigned to the Idaho Attorney General’s Office, who has been adamant that Idaho’s lockdown orders are constitutional.

Why? Why is the Attorney General of Idaho, backed by all the resources of the state, going after a mom for taking her children to the park, when:

– No other moms were arrested for being on the bark of the playground that day, and children were back on the playground within 30 minutes of Sara’s arrest?

– The park she took her kids to was “opened” back up, a mere three weeks later?

– The state’s money could be better spent helping those who lost their jobs due to the Governor’s shut-down orders?

– Jails around the country are releasing dangerous criminals?

NEW YORK & CALIFORNIA FREED THOUSANDS OF CRIMINALS & THE RIOTS BEGAN

NEW YORK & CALIFORNIA FREED THOUSANDS OF CRIMINALS & THE RIOTS BEGAN

Free the criminals. Organize riots. Watch cities burn. Repeat.

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

SEE: https://cms.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/06/new-york-and-california-freed-thousands-criminals-daniel-greenfield;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

New York City released over 2,650  criminals from prison to protect them from the pandemic. But they didn’t stay home or wash their hands. They went back to their old jobs and 100 of them accounted for 190 arrests for crimes like burglary and robbery. A rapist was released and he went back to raping.

One of the freed criminals was responsible for 18 burglaries at closed eateries. And when he was arrested, the end of bail meant that he was set loose. This looting was going on long before the riots.

Now  as the rioters and looters rule the streets of Manhattan, when the police manage to arrest them, they have to quickly let them go.

“When it comes to a burglary, a commercial store, which is looting, they’re back out,” Chief Terrence Monahan said. “Because of bail reform, you’re back out on the street the next day. You cannot be held on any sort of bail.”

Of the 650 thugs arrested, almost all will be released back on the street to riot and loot again.

Los Angeles County released about 5,000 criminals accounting for around a third of imprisoned criminals. And with no bail, arrested criminals were set loose and then arrested again. In the first 30 days of the experiment, 213 criminals were rearrested again after being put back on the street.

Sacramento County’s jail population fell 30%, Orange County’s prison numbers dropped by 45%, Detroit’s jail population dropped by 40%, Philadelphia’s by 17%, and Denver’s by 41%. Massachusetts freed 1,000 criminals while Illinois freed around 4,000. Dallas released 1,000 criminals and Hennepin County, the home of the riots that went on to sweep major cities, reduced its prison population by 44%.

What impact did the hundreds of released criminals have on kickstarting the riots?

It’s no coincidence that some of the areas hardest hit by the rioting and the looting had also opened up their prisons to protect inmates from contracting the coronavirus. Despite apocalyptic predictions from policymakers and the media, there were no mass deaths in prisons or ICE detention facilities. But the critical mass of criminals out on the street left police in major cities hopelessly outnumbered.

That was all part of the plan.

While not all the criminals returned to their trade, even those who wanted to go straight had few jobs waiting for them in locked down cities and states that were already suffering from massive unemployment and where the businesses that might have employed them had been shut down.

Not all of the released criminals returned to crime, but the riots provided the perfect opportunity.

Even before the pandemic, state and federal pro-crime legislation pushed by lefties and libertarians had dramatically cut the numbers of criminals being safely held behind bars. New York City’s prison population had dropped from over 25,000 in 2016 to just under 20,000 in 2019. The end of bail meant that criminals never even bothering showing up for trial. And Mayor Bill de Blasio tried to bribe them to come to court with free movie tickets and gift cards. Even before the riots, there had been violent mob attacks on NYPD officers. The attacks have just reached a critical mass in the Black Lives Matter riots.

Anyone who was closely reading the crime numbers could have predicted the mass looting outbreak.

With massive numbers of criminals on the loose, major crimes rose 12%. Car thefts shot up 65%, robberies went up by 25%, and burglaries rose by 22%.

Burglaries of businesses in New York City had shot up 75% by April.

This was slow-motion looting. If you understand that then what happened in Manhattan with organized gangs targeting stores, smashing and grabbing their way through countless businesses, falls into place. The mass looting was not a shocking new development, it was just the existing criminals going public.

The Black Lives Matter riots provided cover for Antifa violence and for organized criminal gangs and individual opportunistic looters, many of whom had been released because of leftist activism.

Free the criminals. Organize riots. Watch cities burn.

In 2006, California had over 165,000 criminals safely locked away. By 2017, the state was down to 115,000 criminals, in part due to an unconstitutional Supreme Court decision ordering the state to release tens of thousands of criminals into the street. Statewide crime rates slowly began ticking up.

Crime rates jumped in 2012, after the Supreme Court’s unconstitutional ruling, and in 2015, after George Soros’ Proposition 47: Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act. The name meant the exact opposite of what it actually did, effectively legalizing retail theft. The more discreet version of looting.

After each mass jailbreak, crime went up.

Violent crimes shot up from 151,425 before Proposition 47, to 178,553 in 2017. Property crime rates were where the real action was, not only rising, but defying nationwide downward trends.

While the rioters cry for more pro-crime measures, demanding the defunding of the police, less prosecution, and more criminals freed from prison, that’s exactly what caused the riots.

New York and California aren’t being devastated because of mass public outrage, but because they freed the criminals who are tearing New York City and Los Angeles apart. And they want the rest of the country to follow them down the same rabbit hole until there isn’t a single safe place left in America.

The mass riots and looting are the direct result of freeing thousands of criminals while crippling law enforcement and the justice system. Past upticks in crime rates had been hidden with statistical games and by tainting the system from the bottom up, by defining crime reporting down at the precinct level, to the top, refusing to bring charges against criminals or pleading them down to next to nothing.

Even as people felt less safe, the media and the authorities kept telling them that crime was falling.

The riots tore apart that lie. No one feels safe after watching mobs ransack neighborhoods and assault police. But the media and the authorities have replaced that lie with another lie, falsely portraying the riots as a mass uprising against racism, when they’re really a plot by a small group of radicals and racists, while freed career criminals are doing much of the work of actually wrecking the cities.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa have touched off the riots and looting to overwhelm police forces. And it’s working. Demoralized cops are given a bad choice between arresting motivated rioters or chasing down looters, while knowing that everyone they arrest will out by the next day so that it really doesn’t matter.

The riot endgame will move the war to the next stage with more mass releases of criminals, more crippled police forces, and even less prosecutions. And the next wave of riots will be even worse. There will be another viral video, more manufactured outrage, and even more devastating riots. Each set of riots will include demands that if met will lead to worse riots in the next stage of the conflict.

This is the same old playbook that the Left has used effectively for well over a century.

The myth of law enforcement racism is being used to dismantle police forces and open up the prisons. The released criminals become witting or unwitting shock troops for violent confrontations that tear apart society and build up the political power of the radicals who can turn the violence on or off.

There is only one way forward. Conservatives must work to reverse the pro-crime policies of leftists and libertarians. As the nation experiences curfews and people huddle in their homes, there is no way to escape the truth that if we don’t lock up the criminals rampaging in the street, we will be the ones in jail.

Right now, Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and more importantly their backers from the Democrat Party to the media to academia, are holding a gun to the head of the United States of America. But the worst part of it is that we gave them the gun and put the bullets in it when we began freeing criminals.

Law and order is the only way to take the gun away. Locking up the criminals disarms the Left.

In this explosive new video, Candace Owens explains why she does not support George Floyd and refuses to see him as a secular saint. She takes this stand while making it clear that it is obviously wrong how Floyd was killed by the police and that she hopes that Officer Derek Chauvin gets the justice he deserves — just as she hopes Floyd’s family gets the justice they deserve through Chauvin’s punishment.

Above all, Candace issues a robust and stirring warning to her fellow black Americans about the grave mistake of turning Floyd into a shining martyr. In her profound remarks, Candace dares to break numerous taboos and tell piercing truths that the leftist guardians of acceptable opinion don’t want told.

Candace’s bold stance in these contentious times distinguishes her as one of the most courageous truth-tellers — and freedom fighters — of our time. Frontpage commends her for that.

George Floyd’s Memorial-A travesty just like the protests in his behalf.
EXCERPT:
“In a twisted way it is fitting that the most destructive week for America in living memory should be topped off by a memorial featuring the nation’s chief racial arsonist Al Sharpton. The memorial remembered pieces of the life of George Floyd who was brutally killed by a policeman pressing his knee on Floyd’s neck until he shut off the handcuffed man’s air supply and he died. Not the least unexpectedly, the malevolent Sharpton used the platform the mourners provided to stoke the fires of racial hatred, attacking all of white America because black America’s problems and miseries stemmed from the fact that “for 401 years white America has had its knees on our necks” – or words to that effect.”
“That this monstrous sham perpetrated on the American people and used as an excuse to burn American cities should be capped off by an incendiary racist diatribe at George Floyd’s memorial was as fitting as it is tragic.”

Sliwa is a longtime law and order advocate whose top goal is to defend the community while maintaining order together with the members of his Guardian Angels team. They’re easy to spot with their red berets and jackets and although they all look like bikers, none of them are armed. They’ve patrolled the worst neighborhoods of the city and helped those in need since 1979, today in more than 130 cities across the United States and in places around the world as well.

But on Tuesday night, that rule about remaining unarmed led to Sliwa himself and a second member of the group — Aram Sabet, a newbie to the organization with only nine weeks under his belt — themselves becoming victims of some of the more vicious elements among the George Floyd rioters who have been staying out past curfew in New York City in order to trash and loot as many stores as possible.

“We were in SoHo working our way down Broadway when we heard about looters trying to get into a Footlocker, and we immediately ran to that location,” Sliwa told Fox News. That was around 8 pm, just as the curfew was starting.

Sabet told Eyewitness News7, “They literally surrounded us … with bats, hammers, crowbars, metal bats.” Eventually, Sliwa and his team managed to force the gang to drop the loot; they went up the street, vowing to be back later.

They were good to their word, returning two hours later having changed into all black clothing and wearing backpacks. They had also brought along another 100 thugs to help them as well.

About an hour later, they appeared again, and this time their mob had tripled to about 300 goons, most armed with hammers, lock cutters, claw hammers, metal bats, machetes, crowbars, and similar items.

Sliwa, who stood outside the store, said “They started swinging at us. But we were not going to let them get inside. We were slamming and jamming quite a few of them. They were throwing glass bottles filled with liquids as well as bricks and rocks.”

Sliwa’s group managed to hold out until NYPD forces arrived about an hour later. Both he and Sabet were then rushed to Bellevue Hospital in the heart of the city.

Sabet has a broken eye socket; he had forty-eight stitches with injuries to the eyebrow, left sinus shattered, a broken nose, a chipped tooth, and lost the sight in his left eye. Sliwa, who got hit with a ball hammer, has a linear fracture in his jaw.

Despite the injuries, Sliwa told reporters that he and his Angels weren’t deterred. “We train for these kinds of things. We won’t fold. We are defiant,” he said. “We want to make a difference in these neighborhoods.”

A great number of the George Floyd rioters across the United States have begun to use the same vicious tactics to attack their targets – primarily police officers and their vehicles – as Palestinian Authority terrorists use.

Washington DC: Secret Service Personnel Attacked
In Washington DC, more than 50 Secret Service personnel protecting the White House were hurt by Molotov cocktails hurled by rioters within the first two days of “protests” over the death of George Floyd during his arrest by a Minneapolis police officer.

Rioters succeeded in setting the White House Guard House ablaze on Sunday night.

More than 5,000 rioters hurled Molotov cocktails and other incendiary devices — including large live fireworks — towards the direction of the White House shortly after dark, in a manner similar to Palestinian Authority terrorists attacking Israelis in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley.

NYPD Firebombed Two Consecutive Nights
In New York City, rioters employed precisely the same tactics for the same purpose.

Two sisters were arrested after hurling Molotov cocktail into an NYPD van with four police officers inside the vehicle.

Samantha Shader, 27, of Catskill, NY, has confessed to the attack; she is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, attempted arson, assault on a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. Police said Samantha threw the firebomb through a rear window of the van, and while being arrested, allegedly bit an officer on the leg as they struggled to subdue her resistance.

Her sister, Darian Shader, 21, allegedly tried to block police from arresting Samantha and faces charges of resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

Civil rights attorney, scholar and law professor Jonathan Turley commented on his blog on Monday when discussing the incident, “The best defense would be to challenge either the allegation that she threw the device or that the device was actually explosive or flammable. A mental capacity defense is often hard to make out with there is preplanning or pre-construction of an explosive device.

“It is hard to imagine any prosecutor bargaining down this charge (ed. note: attempted murder) since, if true, there would have been four officers burned to death if the device actually went off. Unless the device did not contain a flammable or explosive liquid, Shader is looking at serious time if convicted. For a Class A felony, the maximum term is life imprisonment. Even a Class B felony includes up to 25 years in prison.”

In a second firebombing case, an Ivy League-educated New York attorney has been arrested for attacking NYPD police officers, again with a Molotov cocktail. Colinford Mattis, 32, was allegedly aided and abetted by another New York City attorney.

In addition to being an up-and-coming attorney at Pryor Cashman (currently on furlough since April due to the coronavirus situation) Mattis is also a member of Community Board 5 in East New York.

Urooj Rahman, 31, was admitted to the New York Bar in June 2019; she is accused of being the one who threw the firebomb, created from a Bud Light bottle stuffed with a rag, at an NYPD police cruiser parked outside the 88th Precinct station house in Fort Greene.

A photo was snapped with Rahman holding a black-and-white keffiyeh to her face, possibly to mask her identity, while preparing to hurl the firebomb out the passenger’s side window of the van in which she and her partner were riding early Saturday, May 30.

The attack was recorded by an NYPD surveillance camera, which showed Rahman lighting the fuse on the beer bottle and throwing it through a broken window. The explosion of the device inside the vehicle was also recorded, as was the couple’s attempt to escape.

Both Mattis and Rahman were pursued by police and caught shortly after they fled the scene in their van. The makings for a second Molotov cocktail were found in the back seat, as well as a gasoline container, according to the Department of Justice.

The FBI said in a statement: “Officers pursued the minivan and arrested Rahman and Mattis, who was the vehicle’s driver. The NYPD recovered several precursor items used to build Molotov Cocktails, including a lighter, a bottle filled with toilet paper and a liquid suspected to be gasoline in the vicinity of the passenger seat and a gasoline tank in the rear of the vehicle.”

Both Rahman and Mattis face federal charges of “causing damage by fire and explosives to a police vehicle.”

Each faces a minimum prison term of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years, if convicted.

Palestinian Authority Terror Tactics – Why Now?
The use of Molotov cocktails and live fireworks by American rioters to attack police as a means of expressing “rage” — a vicious form of attack that up to this point was seen almost solely in attacks by Palestinian Authority terrorists against Israeli motorists, police and military personnel — is now suddenly spreading from coast to coast in violence under the banner of “Black Lives Matter,” leading to the question of where and when this idea was generated, and how its use has come into play.

The coordination of violence between the Black Lives Matter movement and ANTIFA is not yet clear; however, the results from the cooperation between the two on the streets of America from coast to coast is obvious. Cities have burned for nearly a week.

St. Louis Churches Reject Black Lives Matter’s Anti-Israel Message

“Black Lives Matter” has also long been associated with anti-Israel messaging and movements such as the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) economic war against Israel.

The “BLM” acronym was slathered in paint along with other forms of graffiti since the death of George Floyd, including such epithets as F—k Police, and in the case of synagogue buildings in Los Angeles, “Back to Palestine!”

How city authorities plan to deal with this new, upgraded level of violence and threat to their law enforcement personnel remains to be seen.

ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN STANDS WITH ANTIFA & BLM~CALLS AMERICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT “VICIOUS DOGS”

It is significant that jihadist Iran would come out in solidarity with Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Friendship between Leftists and Islamic supremacists (the red-green axis) is an alliance of mutual convenience. Their accord is really about their mutual goal to destroy America by subversion. Back in 2017, Ayatollah Khamenei hailed Black Lives Matter, and in July 2016 Arab social media gloated over the slaughter of policemen in Dallas. Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan also called for the murder of police in the name of Islam, and he invoked the Quran. The communist-rooted Black Lives Matter states on its own website:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.  We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

What better group for jihadists to ally with in trying to tear down America? Yet racism against blacks is endemic in the Arab world; black slavery persists in Libya, Mauritania, Sudan and Algeria. Women are also deemed to be inferiors in Islam, and under Islamic law, homosexuals are to be murdered. All of these causes — gay rights, women’s rights, black rights — Leftists merely pretend to care about, either for votes or for more nefarious reasons.

“Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement of support to violent rioters burning down homes and businesses throughout the United States” and declares “the world is standing with you.”

Not according to Nestride Yumga, an American citizen originally from Africa who said this about BLM: “Black Lives Matter is a joke. You are the racists.

“Iran Tells Leftist Rioters: ‘The World Is Standing with You,’” by Frances Martel, Breitbart, June 1, 2020:

Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement of support to violent rioters burning down homes and businesses throughout the United States this weekend, asserting on Monday, “the world is standing with you.”

“The world has got heard your outcry over the state oppression,” ministry spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi said at his regular briefing on Monday. “The world is standing with you. The American regime is pursuing violence and bullying at home and abroad.”

“We are greatly regretful to see, along with people across the world, the violent scenes the U.S. police have recently unfolded. We deeply regret to see the American people, who peacefully seek respect and no more violence, are suppressed indiscriminately and met with utmost violence,” Mousavi continued, demanding police “stop violence against your people and let them breathe.”

Elsewhere, the Iranian Foreign Ministry posted a statement online claiming falsely that “vicious dogs” were attacking peaceful Americans on city streets, citing a remark by President Donald Trump claiming that said dogs would greet anyone breaching the White House fencing. There is no evidence of widespread use of police dogs during the current round of arson and looting this weekend.

“Failed [sic] to keep its promise of stopping wasting money [sic] on foreign adventurism and embattled in a Covid-19 [Chinese coronavirus] crisis of its own making, U.S. regime now employs army, vicious dogs and ominous weapons to intimidate protesters,” the ministry said, adding the U.S. should “listen to its people and change its bankrupt policies.”….

By Barbara Loe Fisher

Fear is a primal biological response to a perceived threat to our survival. Fear triggers momentary paralysis and then a fight or flight reaction before the brain can rationally analyze and calibrate our response to a perceived threat. 1

Fearful Woman

Right now, people around the world are living in fear of being infected or infecting someone else with a new coronavirus that can kill those most vulnerable without warning. Along with confusion and uncertainty, which prolongs fear, many of us are traumatized by the authoritarian measures governments have taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that began in China in late 2019.

The “new normal” is disorienting, like we have taken a hit to the gut and then to the head that we didn’t see coming. Maybe that is why so many Americans, who value freedom of speech, religion, assembly, privacy and the right to work, have given those constitutional rights up, without stopping to think through the ramifications of the larger precedent being set.

We are slowly coming out of shock five months after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control declared a public health emergency on January 31, 2 which escalated six weeks later into a social distancing lockdown when the World Health Organization declared a COVID-19 pandemic on March 11. 3

Questions About the Lockdown Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

Closed Business

There are lots of questions being asked now about whether the lockdown response to the new coronavirus has matched the threat, questions like:

  • Why did the U.S. fail to immediately screen people at sea ports and airports for illness as soon as the outbreak was identified in China and got worse in February so they could be quarantined and tested? 4 5 6 7 8
  • At the beginning of the pandemic, why were Americans told masks were useless and to stop buying and wearing them, when now we are told we must wear masks? 9 10 11 12
  • Why were U.S. emergency supply warehouses, which were supposed to be stocked with pandemic preparedness equipment for health care workers, completely empty? 13
  • Why were residents of nursing homes and other crowded medical facilities not effectively screened and tested to make sure the sick were not being housed with the healthy? 14 15 16 17
  • Why did U.S. public health officials persuade lawmakers to almost immediately lockdown and home quarantine most of our population,18 instead of using traditional disease control measures that identify, quarantine and treat the sick? 19 20 21 22

Opening Up Conversation About Science, Health and Liberty in the U.S.

As we let go of fear and return to rational thinking, it is opening up a public conversation about science, health and liberty that is going viral, despite attempts by Big Pharma and Big Tech working with governments and mainstream media to censor it. 23 24 25 26 27

In the United States of America, we live in a constitutional republic where democratically elected representatives make laws, and state governments are a check and balance on the authority of the federal government. 28

Fists Clashing

American values and beliefs, which have influenced the adoption of human rights in international law, 29 30 31 32 are embedded in the 1776 Declaration of Independence 33 and codified in the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution. 34

Americans value autonomy and individuality. We believe each person is a unique and independent  individual with an inalienable right to life and liberty. 35

We value the human right to freedom of thought, expression and belief; freedom of conscience and association; and respect for privacy – all civil liberties that limit the power of government. 36

We value equal opportunity for all and mobility within society based on individual initiative and hard work, not on hierarchy, inherited privilege or government permission. 37

We are a pragmatic and adaptable people who value the use of common sense and practical solutions to problem solve, achieve and succeed. 38

We are a generous people and believe that voluntarily helping others by donating our money and time is a personal choice motivated by charity, not by communal expectation or a legal requirement. 39

Above all, we are a self-reliant, optimistic people with an indomitable spirit and faith in our ability to overcome adversity individually and as a nation. 40 41 42

Some of the core values, which have shaped our history and defined who we are as a nation, have been put on trial in 2020 because we are paralyzed by fear of a virus that doctors say could be hiding in the breath of every person who comes near us and contaminate everything we touch. 43 44 Often described in military and apocalyptic terms as a war for human survival against an “invisible enemy,” 45 46 47 48 the authoritarian lockdown approach by governments to the coronavirus pandemic has been framed as a choice between safety and liberty.

In horror, we watched the coronavirus pandemic unfold in February 2020 with Chinese officials either chasing citizens suspected of being infected with the virus into the streets and dragging them away to quarantine camps, or using hammers, nails and blocks of wood to barricade families into their apartments. 49 50 51 52 Then, after scientists and U.S. public health officials used mathematical models to warn lawmakers to lock down the U.S. or prepare for between 1.7 and 2.2 million Americans to die of COVID-19, 53 54 55 we were filled with an uncommon fear and uncertainty that continues to haunt our lives.

The Fear of Entering Public Spaces and Getting Too Close to Each Other

As most states emerge from months of quarantining people in their homes and shuttering businesses,56 many Americans are still afraid to enter a public space because we are warned over and over again that the invisible enemy will kill us if we don’t stay six feet away from each other at all times, even outdoors. 57 Parents have been urged not to hug their children if a member in their family has been exposed to the virus. 58 In one city, government officials told residents to take photos and report fellow citizens who violate social distancing rules by getting too close to each other outside. 59

Worried Parents

We see fellow Americans be arrested for not wearing masks, 60 61 or walking on deserted beaches, 62 63 or for taking their children to empty playgrounds. 64 65 Small business owners, who are struggling to feed their families, are being sent to jail for re-opening without government permission. 66 Food banks are running out of food because families, who have never stood in a food bank line in their lives, have no other choice. 67

It doesn’t feel right, but most of us comply with the new rules, afraid to be the one who gets a dirty look or is yelled at or arrested – or worse – if we don’t comply.

COVID-19 Mortality Estimates Far Exceed Reality

Since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 and CDC officials predicted it could kill 1.7 million Americans, by May 22, there had been 335,000 COVID-19 reported deaths among the world’s seven billion people with about 96,000 of those deaths reported in the U.S. [68] How the death toll would have been affected if global lockdowns had not taken place to try to slow the infection rate and delay population based herd immunity will be debated for years to come. [69]

Although the vast majority of COVID-19 infections are thought to be asymptomatic, data shows the estimated symptomatic infection-mortality rate in America is currently at most 1.3 percent. 70 71 72 73 About 90 percent of people who die are over 65 years old, with the majority of those people suffering with one or more chronic poor health conditions like heart or lung disease, obesity, diabetes and hypertension. 74 More than 80 percent of children who die from COVID-19 also suffer with chronic illness and disabilities like immune suppression, obesity, diabetes, seizures, developmental delays and genetic disorders. 75 76

We all hope to live long and productive lives but nobody escapes death and, for some, it comes sooner than expected. The sudden unexpected death of a person for any reason is a tragedy, especially for that person’s family and friends. The deaths of tens of thousands during this pandemic or any pandemic is a tragedy. The feelings of loss and helplessness are magnified when individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 die alone, separated from their families, denied the comfort of taking their last breath in the company of people they love and who love them. 77

Are We Really All in This Together?

Whether the new coronavirus jumped out of an animal in a Chinese live food market 78 or escaped from a biohazard lab, 79 80 whether the virus kills an estimated one to two percent of those symptomatically infected or far less, 81 this year billions of people around the world have followed the advice of the World Health Organization, government health agencies and doctors, who tell us that this “invisible common enemy” must be vanquished using any means possible because, collectively, “we are all in this together.” 82

Group Praying

Public health officials have persuaded lawmakers to divide the American people into two classes: those who are considered “essential” and allowed to continue working and those who are considered “non-essential” and barred from earning a living. 83 84 85 86 Small businesses and services judged to be “non-essential” have been forced to close their doors, including daycares, schools, churches, restaurants, theaters, barber shops and salons, gyms, parks and beaches while, paradoxically, everyone is free to roam through grocery stores, drug stores and big box stores like Walmart, Target and Home Depot owned by big corporations.

The Mass Suffering Generated by Widespread “Sheltering in Place”

Tens of millions of healthy Americans have obeyed orders to “shelter in place” and self-quarantine at home for months, sacrificing their jobs and losing their savings, 87 88 89 destroying one third of the small businesses middle class citizens have worked a lifetime to build, 90 91 while parts of the travel, 92 93 94 95 96 restaurant, 97 retail 98 99 and personal care industries 100 go bankrupt. By the end of May, there were more than 38 million Americans unemployed, representing almost 24 percent of the labor force, and most of them are low hourly wage earners who don’t have savings to pay the rent or buy food while they are out of work. 101 102 103

So the homeless rate in the U.S. is projected to increase by 45 percent this year, with almost one million people homeless by the summer. 104 At the same time, Congress is driving up the national debt in an attempt to delay the complete collapse of our economy by using taxpayer money to pay people to stay away from each other. 105

Police State

Fear of a virus has prevented people sick with heart disease, cancer and other health problems from being treated in hospitals that have been told to only treat patients infected with COVID-19. 106 107 Neglected children and battered women have been trapped for months in homes with their abusers, while calls to mental health hotlines from depressed, anxiety-ridden and suicidal children and adults have increased by nearly 900 percent 108 109 110 111 and, in some cities, prison inmates – even those charged with violent crimes – are being released from jail with the justification they should not be exposed to COVID-19. 112 113

With our children locked out of classrooms and the faithful blocked from worshipping in churches, synagogues and mosques, fear has stopped most of us from publicly questioning the premise that the price of safety is liberty. 114 115 116 117 118 119

Few have challenged the mantra repeated over and over again by doctors and politicians in positions of power that this dystopian reality we are now living in will be the “new normal” 120 until we are all tested and everyone is vaccinated when a COVID-19 vaccine is available because then, and only then, will it be “safe” for government to give back at least some of the liberty that has been taken from us. 121 122 123 124 125

What we have allowed to be done in the name of public health has no parallel in American history or human history.

No Lockdowns for Past Epidemics and Pandemics

The world did not lock down during centuries of epidemics of smallpox, which was a highly contagious virus and had a case fatality rate of 30 percent. 126 Americans did not stop working to prevent epidemics of diphtheria when that contagious disease swept through communities in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a mortality rate of between 5 and 10 percent that was even higher for children. 127 Societies have not closed businesses and schools to prevent tuberculosis, a contagious disease that spreads the same way as coronavirus and has a case fatality rate still between 20 and 70 percent. 128 129

In 1918, state Governors did not order healthy people to shelter in place and put tens of millions of Americans out of work during the Spanish Flu Pandemic, when that highly contagious H1N1 influenza virus had a case fatality rate of more than 2.5 percent. 130

So why are the majority of people in educated societies like the U.S. cowering in fear before a virus that does not cause any symptoms or complications in the majority of children and adults under the age of 65, and has a mortality rate of about one percent, which is even lower if all the asymptomatic infections are counted? 131

In America, why are we allowing fear to erode cultural values and beliefs that have sustained and defined who we are as a nation for 245 years?

1982: The Challenge to Vaccine Science, Policy, Law and Ethics

The profound ramifications of what is happening this year in the name of public health and the slippery slope that has been created is expanding the conversation about science, health and liberty that has been going on for several centuries in academic, philosophical and political circles, 132 133 134 135 136 137 but didn’t go public in post-World War II America until 1982, when parents of vaccine injured children challenged the science, policy, law and ethics of mandatory vaccination, the most revered of all medical interventions in the history of public health programs. 138

Mothers and fathers, whose children died or were brain injured in the 1970s and 80s by the crude whole cell pertussis vaccine in DPT, had simple goals: we wanted safer vaccines, more and better quality scientific research to identify those children at high risk for being harmed by vaccination, and the inclusion of informed consent protections in public health policies and laws. 139 140 141 142 At first, defensive vaccine manufacturers, public health officials and pediatricians met our request for safer vaccines and better science with anger and dismissal. 143 Before Congress passed the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act giving vaccine makers a partial liability shield but also acknowledging that vaccine safety should be a national priority, 144 145 we were patronized.  Then, when we refused to go away, we were demonized. 146 147 148 149 150

Shaming and Blaming

Today, any person who talks about their or their child’s vaccine reaction or criticizes one-size-fits-all vaccine policies is called ignorant. 151 152 Any person who points out how low vaccine licensing standards are or how big the long standing gaps in vaccine safety research are, is accused of being a science denier and slapped with the “anti-vaxxer” label.153 154

If you question the orders of doctors, who believe it is moral to enforce “no exceptions” vaccine laws that sacrifice vaccine vulnerable children in the name of the greater good, you are called “selfish” for defending the ethical principle of informed consent and refusing to offer up your child’s health for herd immunity. 155 If you protest against vaccine policies that deny people an education, medical care and employment based on their vaccination status, you are called a danger to society. 156 If you criticize information disseminated by the CDC and World Health Organization, you are branded a threat to global health and can be censored on the Internet or far worse. 157 158 159 160 161

Strategies Creating a “New Normal” During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Does this sound familiar? It should, because it is the same rhetoric and political tactics being used during this COVID-19 pandemic to keep the people fearful and compliant.

It is the same strategy that will be used to label you a selfish threat to the public health if you don’t agree to be electronically tagged, tested and tracked by health officials when thousands of COVID-19 “contact tracers” fan out across America to test for COVID-19 infections. 162 163 164 It is the same strategy that will be used when you are told you must get an antibody test and obtain an “immunity passport” 165  before you are given back your freedom to participate in society – that is until a fast tracked coronavirus vaccine is licensed and your passport to life and liberty becomes proof you have received a COVID-19 vaccine – perhaps simultaneously delivered and tracked via a microneedle quantum dot tattoo on your skin. 166

Covid-19 Passport

Will a positive antibody test be accurate 167 or does it even matter? Every day, we hear scientists and public health officials arguing about whether or not naturally acquired coronavirus immunity means anything at all, 168 169 170 171 while promoting the idea that a COVID-19 vaccine is the only thing that will give us immunity and save us all. 172 173

Tomorrow, the “new normal” in America may well include the order to “Show me your vaccine papers” [174] [175] before you can enter a store or restaurant, go to school, attend a football game, get on a plane, train or subway, obtain a driver’s license, be admitted to a hospital or nursing home, get a room at a hotel or walk on a public beach, if health policy and lawmakers do not use common sense to adopt a more balanced approach to dealing with a virus that, so far, has changed everything.  [176] [177] [178] [179]

There is no oversight [180] on the decisions we allow scientists and doctors with big titles and even bigger salaries to make for us, [181] [182] [183] decisions that can affect the biological integrity of each one of us and profoundly impact the way we live our lives.

Yet, science is not perfect, doctors are not infallible, and the risks of having a complication to an infectious disease or a vaccine can be higher or lower depending upon the genes and epigenetic history we inherit, the environments we live in, and the life choices we make. [184] [185] [186] [187]

Health of a Society Defined by Absence of Chronic Disease and Disability

The health of a society is not solely measured by the absence of infectious disease but, more importantly, by the absence of chronic disease that destroys quality of life and lowers a nation’s life expectancy because it often leads to premature death.

Bodily Inflammation

In America every year, heart disease kills 647,000 people; lung disease kills 160,000; uncontrolled hypertension and stroke kills 146,000, and diabetes kills 83,000 people, [188] while millions more suffer cancer [189] and other types of immune and brain disorders. [190] America has the worst life expectancy, [191] the worst infant mortality [192] and maternal mortality [193] rates and the highest prevalence of chronic illness and disability [194] of all developed nations in the world, even though we have one of the most highly vaccinated populations in the world, [195] with over 94 percent of school children having received dozens of doses of vaccines for the past three decades. [196] [197]

Today, only four adults in 10 are considered healthy, while over 50 percent have one chronic disease and 30 percent suffer with two or more. [198]  An astonishing 25 percent of all children have a chronic poor health condition [199] like asthma, epilepsy, food allergies, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease and other autoimmune disorders, developmental delays, autism, anxiety and depression, and diabetes. [200]

In fact, chronic disease marked by unresolved inflammation in the body 201 202 is the Number One cause of death and disability in America and is responsible for most of the annual $3.5 trillion dollars spent on health care. 203 It is an epidemic that is crippling and killing far more people than COVID-19 or any other pandemic in our history.

U.S. public health officials have no explanation for why the majority of Americans are sick, except to blame the people for making themselves sick by smoking and drinking too much, eating junk food and not getting enough exercise or sleep. 204

COVID-19 Mortality in U.S. Impacted by Multiple Failures

Whether or not you buy that explanation, the fact that over 160 million people in our population are afflicted with chronic poor health may be at least one reason why there have been more COVID-19 related deaths reported in the U.S. than any other country. That, along with the fact that on March 24, the CDC told doctors and coroners to list COVID-19 as the official cause of death for a person, even if that person had one or more chronic health conditions or had never been tested for COVID-19. 205

Mortality from COVID-19 in the U.S. has also been impacted by the systematic neglect of well-funded federal health agencies like the CDC and BARDA. 206 207 The government was caught totally unprepared for an influenza-like pandemic, despite Congress and three Administrations appropriating billions of dollars to federal health agencies since 2006 to prepare for a pandemic just like this one. 208 Instead, warehouses were left empty without emergency supplies of masks, gowns and gloves for health care workers 209 and without diagnostic tests, equipment and therapeutic agents to help patients survive complications associated with an epidemic of a viral respiratory disease like coronavirus. 210

That is because federal health agencies, which have forged public-private business partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry, 211 have given most of the money Congress handed them for pandemic planning to drug companies to build new vaccine manufacturing plants and produce more vaccines for the national stockpile. 212 213 As the World Health Organization, the CDC, businessman Bill Gates and NIH’s Dr. Anthony Fauci keep telling us, using lots of vaccines is the best way to stay healthy and fast tracking a COVID-19 vaccine to market is the only way the world will ever be a safe place to live again 214 215 216

Corporations, Governments Cut Corners in Race to Develop COVID-19 Vaccines

So global pharmaceutical and biotech companies are now developing over 100 experimental COVID-19 vaccines, with a handful leading the race after being given billions of dollars in funding from the U.S. government, the Gates Foundation and other organizations. 217 218 Some of these coronavirus vaccines being created by scientists will use as yet unlicensed DNA, messenger RNA and nanoparticle technology, oil based adjuvants and electricity, to genetically manipulate and hyperstimulate strong inflammatory immune responses in the body. 219 220

Monied Syringe in Globe

Some companies are skipping animal trials, 221 which are an important part of the vaccine licensing process to answer questions about whether COVID-19 vaccines could cause neurological reactions or more severe coronavirus infections in vaccinated animals or fail to work at all. These are only a few of the short and long term problems that could have devastating consequences for humans being vaccinated.

Some companies are cutting corners by conducting Phase 1, 2 and 3 trials simultaneously, but will they investigate whether half of US adults and a quarter of children suffering with chronic illness are at increased risk for adverse responses to the new COVID-19 vaccines before they are licensed and mandated?

Other vaccine manufacturers want the green light to deliberately infect human clinical trial subjects with COVID-19 to see how well an experimental vaccine works. 222 Enthusiastic “bioethicists” are jumping on board to help advance this type of “new normal” in vaccine research, but parents of vaccine injured children are logically asking why it is ethical to intentionally infect humans with a new virus in a clinical trial when for decades public health officials have insisted that it is absolutely unethical to conduct a prospective clinical trial comparing health outcomes of vaccinated and unvaccinated children to determine whether vaccines are harming far more than “one in a million.” 223 224

So, while we are being ordered to obey new rules that require us to give up our constitutional and human rights, drug companies and government health officials are violating old rules that govern ethics and the scientific method for proving that vaccines are safe and effective. 225

Jacobson v. MassachusettsA Utilitarian Ruling by SCOTUS with Tragic Consequences

Science is not perfect, doctors are not infallible, and vaccines carry risks that can be greater for some than others, which is why voluntary vaccination should have been unanimously upheld in the 1905 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Jacobson v. Massachusetts226 Instead, the majority sitting on that high court more than a century ago viewed the notoriously reactive smallpox vaccine as a sacred cow and medical doctors as infallible so they could affirm the constitutional authority of state legislatures to mandate smallpox vaccinations during outbreaks. The Court said:

“The matured opinions of medical men everywhere, and the experience of mankind, as all must know, negative the suggestion that it is not possible in any case to determine whether vaccination is safe.”

SCOTUS 1905 Jacobson

Using bad logic and bad science while leaning heavily on the pseudo-ethic of utilitarianism, state governments were given the green light to legally require vaccination based on a “common belief” that vaccination is safe and effective, rather than proven fact. Piously waving the greater good flag to justify throwing civil liberties out the door, the Court majority ruled that citizens do not have a legal right to be free at all times because there are “manifold restraints to which every person is necessarily subjected for the common good.”

The Court said that state legislatures can exercise police power to restrict or eliminate civil liberties, including freedom of religion, during public health emergencies in order to “secure the general comfort, health and prosperity of the state.”

But the justices also warned that mandatory vaccination laws should not be forced on a person whose physical condition would make vaccination “cruel and inhuman to the last degree.” They said:

“We are not to be understood as holding that the statute was intended to be applied in such a case or, if it was so intended, that the judiciary would not be competent to interfere and protect the health and life of the individual concerned. ‘All laws,’ this Court has said, “should receive a sensible construction.”

One academic activist attorney has said that the 1905 Jacobson ruling “is often regarded as the most important judicial decision in public health.” [227] That is not an overstatement because, in 1927, Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendall Holmes used it to issue a eugenics ruling in Buck v. Bell that affirmed the constitutional authority of Virginia to forcibly sterilize a young woman mistakenly judged by state officials to be mentally retarded.228

Justice Holmes declared, “The principle that sustains compulsory vaccination is broad enough to cover cutting the fallopian tubes,” leading the way for mass sterilization of tens of thousands of Americans that doctors and government officials judged to be genetically defective, or morally unfit or otherwise a threat to the public health during the 1920s and 30s. [229]

This is the tragic legacy of Jacobson v. Masschusetts, 230 an immoral utilitarian ruling that public health officials cling to in order to justify legally requiring people to use vaccines that carry a risk of injury or death and applying societal punishments for refusing to do it. 231 232

State Legislators Primarily Make Most Public Health Laws

During this time of fear and confusion, the Jacobson ruling also reminds us that it is democratically elected representatives in state legislatures who make public health laws governing people living in different states. That is because what is not defined in the US Constitution as a federal activity is reserved for the states, which is an important check on federal government power. Elected lawmakers in your state can choose to mandate a few or many vaccines with or without exemptions, while the federal government has the authority to mandate vaccinations for people entering the U.S. or crossing state borders. 233

It was this understanding that prompted NVIC in 2010 to launch our free online Advocacy Portal at NVICAdvocacy.org that monitors proposed vaccine-related legislation and helps Americans educate lawmakers so flexible medical, religious and conscience vaccine exemptions can be secured and protected in public health laws. Despite aggressive lobbying efforts by vaccine manufacturers, public health officials and medical trade groups, until 2020, vaccine exemptions and informed consent rights have been successfully defended in multiple states over past decade, even though California, New York and several other states have taken those rights away. 234

Now, it looks like voluntary vaccination will be on the line in every state as the Vaccine Culture War, 235 which is the tip of the spear in a much larger culture war about values and beliefs going on in this and many other countries in the 21st century, is brought home to every person and every community in America.

Contact Your Legislators Now and Vote in November

You have an opportunity, right now, to contact your elected representatives and let them know how you feel about protecting civil liberties and vaccine informed consent rights in your state. Sign up to use NVIC’s Advocacy Portal to defend voluntary vaccine choices.

And when you go to the polls on November 4, 2020, think hard about who you are voting for and why. If you don’t like the response to the COVID-19 pandemic that your Governor or other elected representatives have made, your vote in this and every election beyond this one could affect whether America will continue to value liberty or throw it away.

Act Now

Because if the state can tag, track down and force individuals to be injected with biologicals of known and unknown toxicity today, then there will be no limit on which individual freedoms the state can take away in the name of the greater good tomorrow.

Be the one who never has to say you did not do today what you could have done to change tomorrow.

It’s your health, your family, your choice, and our mission continues:

No forced vaccination. Not in America.

A Florida sheriff has a stark warning for rioters tonight: if you fan out to the suburbs to loot, you will likely be shot by residents.

The Lakeland Police Department Sheriff Grady Judd issued a statement on the heels of Polk County declaring a local state of emergency on Monday, warning rioters to stay away from the neighborhoods because residents value the Second Amendment.

“We have received information that some of these criminals were going to take their criminal conduct into the neighborhoods,” Judd said. “I would tell them, if you value your life, they probably shouldn’t do that in Polk County.”

So, leave the community alone.”

Judd pointed out that most of the rioters are organized and not local residents who “came here for nothing but to create problems.”

The sheriff went on to express his sympathies about George Floyd’s death but said that the riots have distracted from Floyd’s wrongful death at the hands of Minneapolis police.

“All of that ugliness has taken away from what we’re united about,” Judd said. “We’re united about the conduct that you saw with George [Floyd].”

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

After leftist riots killed an African-American Federal Protective Service officer, caused severe injuries, destroyed businesses and vandalized churches and synagogues across Democrat cities, some difficult questions are being asked about what Democrat elected officials could have done to prevent this.

Mayor Bill de Blasio blamed President Trump for the violent riots that consumed New York City as well as many other cities across the country. “The President of the United States help create this atmosphere,” he falsely claimed. “It doesn’t matter what your party affiliation is. It doesn’t matter what you think of President Trump, there’s been an uptick in tension and hatred and division.”

On MSNBC, Rep. Maxine Waters also argued that President Trump was to blame, “He has disparaged blacks in so many ways. All that stuff about loving blacks is so disingenuous. Nobody believes that. He’s such a liar. He cannot be trusted. And yes, I think he has emboldened those who are racist. He’s emboldened police officers to be nastier, tough, to do things like the chokehold. I believe all of that.”

Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser tweeted that she stands with the protesters besieging the White House, “While he hides behind his fence afraid/alone, I stand w/ people peacefully exercising their First Amendment Right after the murder of #GeorgeFloyd & hundreds of years of institutional racism.”

Despite these false claims by Democrat politicians, the riots were and are purely a Democrat product.

The Democrats chose to support Black Lives Matter and to coddle Antifa. Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison had previously posed with a copy of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, touting it as “the book that strike fear in the heart of” Trump. Now Ellison has been tweeting conspiracy theories that blame the riots on “white supremecists”. But, the only white supremacists on the scene are Democrats.

Minneapolis’ last Republican mayor stepped down in 1974. While his city burned, Mayor Jacob Frey, a Biden supporter, attacked President Trump, whining, “weakness is refusing to take responsibility for your own actions, weakness is pointing your finger at someone else in a time of crisis.”

That’s exactly what Frey and the Democrats have been doing in the face of the riots. Frey, a former community organizer, had repeatedly tweeted support for the Black Lives Matter racist hate group that is carrying out much of the violence. Instead of taking responsibility, Frey is blaming President Trump.

Chief Medaria Arradondo was handpicked by Frey’s predecessor as the city’s African-American police boss after the shooting of Justine Damond, an Australian woman reporting a crime, by Mohammed Noor, a Somali Muslim officer. Arradondo replaced Janee Harteau, the first female chief of the force.

Arradondo, like Harteau, came into office promising transformational change. He had already sued the city for racial discrimination, winning a huge settlement, and had all the right buzzwords about diversity and equity.

“I’m committed to making sure that when the history is written, we are on the right side of history,” he declared at his first press conference, echoing Obama.

That’s the police force on whose watch the Floyd riots began.

This national nightmare came out of a deeply progressive city, under the administration of progressives, and happened under elected Democrat officials who embodied the progressive vision for America.

George Floyd and the resulting riots are entirely the work of their hands.

“Why is the man who killed George Floyd not in jail?” Mayor Frey demanded. “We cannot turn a blind eye, it is on us as leaders to see this for what it is and call it what it is.”

It’s an odd question for the mayor of the city to ask.

In 2006, Wayne Reyes had allegedly “stabbed his girlfriend and a male friend” and went on the run. When police caught up to him, he stepped out of his vehicle with a shotgun, and police officers, including possibly Officer Derek Chauvin, the officer seen kneeling on Floyd in the viral video, fired.

As a number of outlets have noted, Senator Amy Klobuchar was, at the time still the Hennepin County attorney, but had already won her Senate race, and showed no interest in prosecuting the officers.

Klobuchar had served as the Hennepin County Attorney from 1998 through 2006. Officer Chauvin had been on the force since 1999 and was there for almost all of Klobuchar’s eight years on the job. Michael Freeman, Klobuchar’s successor, is the son of the former Governor Orville Freeman, and has tried to run for his father’s old job. After being elected to a sixth term, Freeman promised to focus on voting rights for felons, decriminalizing marijuana, and other pro-crime policies popular with progressives.

Democrats could not have asked for a friendlier and more progressive prosecutor on the job.

Chauvin, has had a dozen conduct complaints filed against him, and was hit with a letter of reprimand, and all of this was going on while Chief Janee Harteau had built the most diverse team to head the Minneapolis Police whom, she described as, “experienced, dedicated, professional and progressive and they share my core values.” It was such a progressive leadership team that her assistant went on to head the University of Minnesota Police Department. But all this progressivism failed its most basic test.

While the Minneapolis Police bosses were touting their progressive values to their DFL overlords, Freeman was talking about criminal justice reform, and Klobuchar was prepping a presidential bid, Chavin kept racking up complaints and no one was paying attention. Not even the head of the force, who had come up through internal affairs, but wasn’t actually interested in running the police force.

Democrats had mismanaged the Minneapolis Police, the same way that they had mismanaged Minneapolis. Every time something happened, the leadership got a shakeup and became more diverse, but nothing meaningful was actually happening on the ground floor except new messaging.

Klobuchar and Freeman had seen the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office as a stepping stone to higher office. And they spent their time virtue signaling to lefties, instead of actually doing their jobs.

The diverse leadership of the Minneapolis Police understood that they were there to provide cover after each incident, even at the cost of their jobs, for incompetent DFL figures like Mayor Jacob Frey. No one bothered with the nitty gritty attention to detail that’s the essence of managing any institution. Everyone was too busy laying out grand progressive visions and looking for the next step up the ladder.

And now America is on fire and they’re blaming President Trump for creating the atmosphere.

Trump didn’t create the atmosphere in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, or any other blue city. Generations of Democrat mayors, as chronicled in John Perazzo’s The New Shame of the Cities, fouled the civic air, tainted the cultural water, and have been happy enough to blame the riots on Republicans.

The Democrats created the atmosphere. They spilled the gasoline, lit the match, and are still too busy signaling their virtues and blaming Republicans, to do the hard work of putting out their own flames.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa are their organizations. The Minneapolis city authorities and the police force bosses are also their people. The atmosphere was the undiluted work of the Democrats. And with the pandemic fading, they dug into their old playbook and decided that it was time for a new crisis.

After locking down the country didn’t work, the Democrats decided to set it on fire instead.

A suspected looter has been shot dead outside a pawn shop after protests over the death of George Floyd descended into chaos Wednesday night and rioters vandalized stores across the city.

Minneapolis Department Police Chief John Elder confirmed in a midnight press conference that one person was shot and killed and that another person was being held in custody.

Elder said officers had responded to reports of a possible stabbing at around 9.25pm between Bloomington and Lake Street.

The body of a man – who medics later confirmed had been shot – was found lying on the sidewalk outside the Cadillac Pawn shop by police officers who performed CPR on him.

Stores including Wendy’s, Target, Walmart and AutoZone were looted, ransacked and some set alight before rioters tried to bust open an ATM, as many ignored pleas from the Floyd family’s lawyer and Minnesota Governor Walz to protest peacefully Wednesday night.

Videos showed what was reported to be an apartment building entirely engulfed by flames as rioters stood and watched and the fire department was nowhere to be seen. An AutoZone store was also one of those which was set on fire.

Outside a GM Tobacco store, a group of four men with huge firearms were seen and said they had come to protect local businesses from looters,

During the riots, a woman in a wheelchair was punched in the head and sprayed with a fire extinguisher after trying to block protesters – allegedly with a knife in her hand.

Elder said that ‘everything was done that we could do to try to preserve this man’s life’ but the adult male died in hospital.

The police chief refused to confirm reports that the shooter was the owner of the pawn shop who shot the victim dead because he was looting his store.

He said this was ‘one theory’ but that police are investigating ‘a couple of different scenarios that might have happened’.

Elder would not divulge what the other scenarios are. He added that there had been no other reports of injuries among protesters or police officers.

The police chief also slammed the actions of looters and rioters which he branded ‘disrespectful’ to Floyd’s family and to all the protesters who gathered peacefully to demand justice over his death.

‘If people are there to truly honor the man and his family this isn’t how you do it and it’s so disrespectful and it’s heartbreaking,’ he said.

‘People are utilizing this as a purpose just to make bad decisions.’

A source told KSTP that the city has requested support from the National Guard to bring the violence under control.

It comes as:

  • A video was widely shared on social media on Tuesday showing white officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes as he pleads to be released before eventually losing consciousness and later dying
  • Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Minneapolis later that night demanding justice for the 46-year-old, leading to confrontations with police officers firing rubber bullets
  • Four Minneapolis police officers involved in Floyd’s arrest were fired on Tuesday after initially being placed on paid administrative leave
  • Four fired police officers are named as Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J Alexander Kueng
  • Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey called on prosecutors Wednesday to arrest and charge Chauvin
  • New video footage casts fresh doubt on claims Floyd resisted as two officers are seen manhandling and forcibly removing him from his car and he appears to be complying with officers
  • Floyd’s family demanded police officer Chauvin be charged with murder, and the other three officers involved charged as murder accomplices
  • A protest started in the streets of downtown LA Wednesday night over Floyd’s death with one man being taken to hospital after he fell from a moving police cruiser
  • Minneapolis protesters escalated into violence Wednesday as cops and protesters clashed and stores including Target, AutoZone and Walmart were ransacked and set on fire by looters
  • A looter was shot dead in Minneapolis Wednesday night and officers had arrested a man for homicide

News of the death topped off a night of chaos and destruction across the city as rioters stripped shelves bare, set fire to stores and tried to break into a bank.

Footage on social media showed car parts company AutoZone up in flames as people were seen hurling rocks through its windows.

Another structure, said to be a new apartment building, was filmed as flames entirely engulfed it and made it collapse.

With the fire department initially nowhere to be seen, reports on social media said they were being forced to stay away because of the violent rioters.

Stores and building near the fire were being splashed with water by citizens in an effort to stop the flames spreading. They were pictured filling buckets from fire hydrants.

Fire fighters were then seen spraying buildings including the Schooner tavern which had also caught fire.

At the Target store near the site of Floyd’s arrest, the inside of the store lay in ruins, with stock depleted of all goods and the remaining merchandise flung across the floor.

Witnesses reported thieves using power tools to break open cash registers and trying to access the store’s safes, before it too was set alight and seen engulfed in flames.

Rioters then turned to a Wendy’s where they sprayed graffiti on the walls before moving onto a bank – trying to bust it open and raid the ATMs.

A woman in a wheelchair was also punched in the head and sprayed with a fire extinguisher after trying to block protesters – allegedly with a knife in her hand.

The woman claimed she was ‘peacefully protesting’ to stop people from looting a Target store, but she was quickly set upon by a crowd who subdued her.

The crowd outside the Target store shouted that the woman had a knife, and footage showed her holding what appeared to be a sharp object.

Named online as Jennifer, she later said she had been ‘punched in the head several times’ before others tried to restrain her.

Footage of the violent clash has been widely shared on social media, including by conservative writer Andy Ngo.

A group of four men with huge firearms were seen outside a GM Tobacco store as they said they had come to protect local businesses from looters, reported Minnesota Reformer.

The vigilantes called themselves ‘heavily armed rednecks’ as they stood guard outside the businesses.

Disorder erupted in the streets of the city on the second day of the rally over Floyd’s death, after footage emerged Tuesday showing white police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on the black man’s neck moments before he died in police custody.

Floyd is heard pleading with Chauvin, saying ‘please, please, I can’t breathe’ and ‘My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Everything hurts’ while witnesses urged the arresting officers to stop.

Cops were seen spraying pepper spray into the crowds and outraged Minnesotans threw metal railings at the windows of the police precinct as the two groups clashed on Wednesday.

This followed chaotic scenes at Tuesday night’s protest where demonstrators were seen dousing their faces in milk to limit the effects of the tear gas and desperately fleeing the hail of rubber bullets raining down on them.

Protester falls from the hood of a moving police cruiser as violent Black Lives Matter demonstration breaks out in downtown Los Angeles

A protester was thrown from the hood of a police cruiser in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night as a Black Lives Matter demonstration calling for justice for George Floyd turned violent.

About 1,000 protesters descended on LA following the 46-year-old father-of-two died in Minneapolis Monday, moments after a white cop knelt on his neck for eight minutes until he passed out.

As protests entered their second day in Minnesota, tensions began building between law enforcement and African-American communities across America, with demonstrators calling for the four officers involved in Floyd’s death to be charged with murder.

The first break-off protest sprung up in downtown LA Wednesday afternoon and quickly escalated into violence.

Shocking aerial footage shows several protesters surrounding a California Highway Patrol cruiser and smashing its back windows on the 101 Freeway.

One protester clambered on the hood before tumbling to the ground when the police officer drove off. The man was seen lying motionless on the ground and covered in blood, but he did regain consciousness and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

A second police cruiser that arrived at the scene was also attacked, had its windows smashed and was seen fleeing.

The march rally began near the Hall of Justice at around 4p.m. local time before protesters marched through the streets toward the area of Temple.

People carried signs reading ‘Black Lives Matter’.

The group then made its way onto the 101 Freeway where they blocked cars along the road. The freeway was forced to shutter.

By around 6.25pm local time, the crowd began moving off the freeway and continued moving through downtown LA streets, reported NBC Los Angeles.

The protest came hours after Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore issued a statement condemning the video of Floyd’s death as ‘incredibly disturbing’.

Authorities claimed Tuesday that Floyd had resisted arrest by cops, however footage from the scene has cast doubt on the version of events as it appears to show the 46-year-old father of two cooperating with officers as he is manhandled out of his vehicle and placed in handcuffs outside the Cup Foods grocery store on 38th and Chicago Ave in south Minneapolis.

The release of the MFD report sheds yet more light on Monday’s shocking events, detailing that fire crew were called to assist medics with a man – called ‘pt’ in the report – who had trauma to his mouth.

It states that Fire Station 17 of Minneapolis arrived at the scene outside the Cup Foods store to find ‘multiple squads on scene and small crowd of citizens’.

The report points to confusion at the scene as neither the cops nor bystanders gave information to medics on Floyd or his location.

Protesters hold up their hands at the scene. An incident report from the Minneapolis Fire Department released Wednesday shows the fire department was called to reports of a man with trauma to his mouth and reached the scene to be told by witnesses that cops ‘had killed the man’

It says that while the crew tried to find Floyd to give medical support, they overheard and were told by ‘several people that the police “had killed the man”‘.

The report adds that the bystanders were ‘upset but not unruly’.

Crew members were finally able to find a cop inside the store who told them medics had put Floyd in an ambulance and left the scene.

Crew members were also told by an off-duty firefighter who witnessed the end of the struggle that they had seen Floyd become unresponsive on the ground while handcuffed and subdued by cops, the report says.

Medics then called for assistance and the crew responded to the ambulance which had moved to 36th and Park Avenue.

Two crew members got into the ambulance where they found ‘an unresponsive, pulseless male’, the report states.

‘The lack of humanity in the video as I said made me physically ill and is even more difficult to understand.’

“You’re not stealing that TV to honor George Floyd or protest police brutality. You’re stealing that TV because you’re a POS,” conservative commentator Ben Shapiro tweeted when looting began following the death of George Floyd during an arrest by Minneapolis police on Monday.

Perhaps a powerful illustration of the truth of Shapiro’s blunt remarks was the attack on a wheelchair-bound woman in the entryway to a Target store in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The woman, identified as Jennifer, attempted to use her wheelchair to block looters from leaving the chain store with all sorts of merchandise.

After the attack on her with a fire extinguisher, Jennifer told a bystander, “I was peacefully protesting and trying to block the way so they couldn’t leave with carfuls of stuff. They attacked me from front and back, they punched me in my mouth and my head. I got punched in the head several times. I got grabbed from behind, people grabbed my wheelchair, they stole my keys, everything they could off me.”

Jennifer added, “I got maced in the face, I got covered in fire extinguisher stuff.”

Incredibly, the looters claimed they were acting in self-defense! Even The Daily Mail seemed to mitigate the seriousness of the attack upon Jennifer by saying, “While some deplored the video as a brutal attack on a disabled woman, others saw Jennifer as the aggressor and the fire extinguisher as an act of self-defense.”

This would be much like Jesse James arguing that one of the victims of his years of robbing banks, trains, and stagecoaches trying to block the path of Jesse, his brother Frank, the Younger brothers, and other members of his gang from leaving the bank with a pile of cash was the real aggressor. Much like today’s criminal looters, the James gang justified their robberies and murders as simply continuing the “cause of the South” in the years following the Civil War.

Some in the modern gang of criminal looters argued that Jennifer had a knife (as though law-abiding citizens are the aggressors if they are armed and can defend themselves), which therefore somehow justified one of the looters covering her in foam from a fire extinguisher.

Conservative writer Andy Ngo shared footage of the brutal attack upon the wheelchair-bound woman on social media.

While foam shot from the fire extinguisher covered the disabled Jennifer, many in the crowed of looters cheered, and some threw objects at her. Others fled the scene.

Some have argued that stealing from stores such as Target and small businesses is a way to “increase the cost” of police brutality, and thus make it less likely in the future. Regardless of the merits of that argument, the people being hurt in such a scenario had nothing to do with the death of George Floyd.

Violent protests have rocked Minneapolis since Monday, when Floyd, a black man, was being arrested by local police. Officer Derek Chauvin, a 19-year veteran of the department, and three other officers involved in arresting Floyd, all white, were fired Tuesday. Chauvin was recorded on a mobile phone with his knee on Floyd’s neck for more than seven minutes, all while spectators could be heard for the officer to get off Floyd’s neck, with one shouting, “You’re f*****g stopping his breathing there, bro.”

Floyd pleaded with the officer that he could not breathe until he eventually passed out, and his listless body was placed in an ambulance. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Predictably, many attempted to make the tragic death of Floyd a racial incident, although there is absolutely no evidence that the police officers did what they did to Floyd simply because he was black. Presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden lost little time interjecting race into the incident, arguing that it was “part of an ingrained, systemic cycle of injustice that still exists in this country,” and that it “sends a very clear message to the black community and black lives that are under threat every single day.” It is certainly part of Biden’s message to stoke understandable black outrage for his own political gain, even while violent riots rock the city. Only a few days earlier, Biden had insisted that a black person even thinking about voting for President Donald Trump “ain’t black.”

Such incendiary rhetoric only throws gasoline on the fire of the situation in Minneapolis and is highly irresponsible coming from a man who wants to be president of the United States. Rather than attempting to calm the situation, Biden and others on the Left would prefer to use the unfortunate events in Minnesota for their own political advantage.

It is highly unlikely that Biden or any other liberal political figure or news reporters will condemn the actions taken against the courageous Jennifer.

DEEP STATE “CONTACT TRACING” TO END PRIVACY~PHONE APPS, MICROCHIPS UNDER CHILDREN’S SKIN, HOME VISITS BY SWAT TEAMS

DEEP STATE “CONTACT TRACING”
TO END PRIVACY
In this episode of Behind the Deep State, host Alex Newman exposes the Deep State organizations and individuals working to shred privacy and invade your home with so-called “contact tracing.” From HR 6666 and phone apps for tracking you to microchips under the skin for children and home visits splitting up families, the agenda is totalitarian to the core. And yet, with very little resistance, this scheme is moving forward at the state and even global level under the World Health Organization. Clinton, Soros, Gates, and other globalist Deep Staters are involved. Humanity must resist to stay free. ▶️ More Videos: Bill Gates: Globalist Technocrat to “Save” You With Mandatory Vaccines? https://youtu.be/2YB1eAJtDEw Fighting Coronavirus With Tyranny & Globalism https://youtu.be/yU_vKl5LnU8 Deep State Weaponizing Coronavirus Against Freedom https://youtu.be/NCOMBWlYyr8 📰 Read Alex’s Full Article: https://bit.ly/contact-tracing-article 🇺🇸 The New American: http://www.thenewamerican.com/ 📲 Let’s Connect! http://www.facebook.com/TheNewAmerican https://twitter.com/NewAmericanMag https://www.instagram.com/newamerican… #ContactTracing #AlexNewman

GESTAPO POLICE STATE NEW JERSEY:

BELLMAWR GYM CLOSED ON THURSDAY, OPENED AGAIN ON FRIDAY

When paper towels were stuffed into toilets at the Atilis Gym on Wednesday, the owners were forced to close. It remained closed on Thursday. On Thursday night health officials attached a closure notice to the front door. On Friday the gym opened again.

A week ago the owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey, wrote a letter to Governor Phil Murphy telling him that they were going to open their gym in defiance of his edict. They also announced their plans to open publicly, and when Monday morning came, members entered while supporters outside the gym waved American flags and cheered.
Governor Murphy was asked about the gym’s defiance of his orders on Monday afternoon and he warned the owners and their patrons, “If you show up at that gym tomorrow [Tuesday the 19th], there will be a different reality.”
The gym opened on Tuesday, following strict safety measures implemented by the two owners, Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti. There was no “different reality.”
The gym opened again on Wednesday, following the safe measures. There was no “different reality” until Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday afternoon the gym’s toilets were sabotaged. Someone had stuffed paper towels into the toilets, causing them to overflow. Trumbetti told the press: “Just so you know, we do not even have paper towels in our bathrooms.”
Mediation teams worked on clearing the obstructions on Thursday. The gym remained closed for the day while the owners suggested members work out in the parking lot.
Late Thursday night, after the gym was closed, officials from the state health department taped a four-page notice to the front door. The notice said, in part, that although the gym “is purporting to take its own measures to address COVID-19 tranmission,” New Jersey cannot “simply allow business owners to set their own divergent health measures, done without the approval of the state and it’s [sic] health officials.”
The order went on to say that indoor gyms pose a “particularly high risk setting” because the members exercise there which “can increase the amount of respiratory droplets or aerosols in a confined setting.”
Trumbetti said the health officials attached the order “overnight, like cowards” and vowed to reopen on Friday: “We’re opening up tomorrow [Friday] morning, no matter what.”
Trumbetti asked rhetorically: “How is it possible that they can actually shut [us] down? If there is a problem based on the coronavirus, how can they shut us down but no other businesses in the same building [as our gym]?”
In explaining why they are defying Governor Murphy’s edict and the state’s order, Trumbetti said:
According to our beliefs, we have been allowing our members in because of the wording of Governor Murphy’s executive order stating the gym had to remain closed to the public.
We have stood firm. As long as we let members in, we are not doing anything that’s against the law and criminal.
The paperwork that’s on the window, we don’t know if it’s actually deemed legal or not because they put it on in the middle of the night. We were not served with those papers.
An Internet search just before publication of this article at 2 p.m. EST revealed nothing untoward. The gym appears to be open to its members, who are following the owners’ strict safety and health protocols.
Just in case the state ramps up legal action against the owners, a GoFundMe page has been created, which, when last checked, had raised nearly $70,000 to cover their legal costs.

WARNING DISTURBING: Jaydon Hayden Caught Beating Up Elderly Nursing Home Patients In Michigan

Jaydon Hayden is reportedly from Westland, Michigan and beat elderly white nursing home patients for sport. There are three videos right now on Bitchute showing the man beating white people. The man is filming himself beating the seniors in their beds until they are bleeding.

The culprit behind the horrific beating of an elderly man at a nursing home in Detroit made a YouTube video in which he asserted that “black people are supposed to rule the earth.”
Footage emerged yesterday of a man later identified as 20-year-old Jadon Hayden beating up a defenseless elderly white man by repeatedly punching him in the face.
Absolutely shocking footage has emerged from a black male nurse from Detroit (Jadon H.), who filmed himself beating elderly white men into a bloody pulp. “Get the fuck off my bed, N.,” he is heard saying. Viewer discretion advised.

Another clip shows him beating an elderly white woman.
I’ll never understand why Americans work 40+ hrs a week, pay taxes, fight for their country, just for their children to dump them in care homes in old age and subject them to this kinda treatment. The relevant authorities have his information so dw and I don’t mean the police!

Embedded video

Hayden uploaded the videos to his social media accounts but after the clips started to go viral on Twitter he was quickly arrested by police.
Content Hayden had previously uploaded to his YouTube channel suggested he holds black supremacist beliefs.
“The black race is the chosen race, the black race was supposed to rule the earth, but now…they have to go to the white man for everything and that’s not good,” Hayden says in one video.
“Black people are supposed to rule the earth,” he emphasizes.
Hayden also posted a video called “drugging ppl prank” that shows a white man convulsing in what appears to be the same nursing home, suggesting that he may have been responsible for the drugging.
Many have questioned why the story isn’t being covered by major news networks like CNN, arguing that if the roles were reversed and the culprit was white, there’d be a mass uproar.
Is this even possible to believe? Can this be for real? Where is this nursing home, how is the victim doing?
President Trump has tweeted about the issue and Tucker Carlson vowed last night to cover it fully on his show tonight.

I wonder why the national media is ignoring this story? 🤔
UPDATE: The heroic @TuckerCarlson aired a screenshot from the Detroit nursing home attack and said he would cover the “horrifying” story tomorrow night! “We’re going to have a lot more on that story tomorrow and the tape.”

Hayden was a patient in the nursing home, which as Chris Menahan documents, has a very shady recent history.

Taking the Moral High Ground in the Internment of 2020
Who is it that really cares about lives?
BY JACK KERWICK
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research
purposes:
Life in the Age of the Great UnReason can be difficult for some of us.
Conservatives and others who now take exception to the Internment of 2020—the reduction of citizens’ homes, towns, and states to what amounts to internment camps from which they are forbidden to leave via “Shelter-in-Place” orders—typically frame their position in terms of “reopening the economy.”
In doing so, they stack the deck against themselves.
Putting the matter this way cedes the moral high ground to those who want to prolong the Internment, for it invites the latter to depict the conflict as one between those, like themselves, who care about life, versus those conservatives who only care about “money.”
Indeed, this is exactly what has happened.
Those of us who have recognized the Great Unreason for what it is from the outset and who demand a restoration of America would be well-served to take a different tack. It is we, and not those who insist upon suppressing the country, who have the moral capital:
Tens of millions of people forced out of work;
Over 100,000 businesses forced to close forever, and thousands upon thousands more that have been made to lose millions;
The inevitable increase of instances of suicide and domestic abuse (here and here);
The exacerbation of such mental health phenomena as despondency, depression, and anxiety;
The higher incidences of alcohol and drug abuse (here and here) that invariably correlate with unemployment and alienation;
The loneliness and accompanying depression of untold numbers of elderly and sick people whose families have been forbidden by state governors from visiting them in hospitals and nursing facilities;
The loneliness and accompanying depression of untold numbers of people from all backgrounds who have been alienated from their friends, families, faith communities, and the myriad of other associations to which they’ve belonged and that define their identities as the specific, unique individuals that they are;
The people who have grown sicker, and who have outright died, because they have been denied medical attention that has been reserved for COVID-19 patients (herehere, and here);
The exponential exacerbation of tensions between the citizenry, particularly those citizens who otherwise have been their biggest defenders, and police officers who attempt to enforce the oppressive decrees of governors;
The de facto indefinite revocation of the United States Constitution (as New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy now infamously, and ominously, told Tucker Carlson when the latter challenged his authority to, in effect, intern the residents of his state: “The Bill of Rights is above my paygrade.”);
The promotion—via those “Social Distancing” protocols proscribing human contact and requiring the wearing of those stupid, hideous masks—of something bordering on a paralyzing fear of others;
The unprecedented closing of churches and other houses of worship;
The starving of hundreds of millions and potentially billions (see here)of otherwise impoverished peoples from around the planet whose lives will be made that much more wretched by the disruption of the global food supply chains within which America is the most indispensable of links;
And, let us not forget—what the media seems all too ready to forget—the tens of thousands of elderly, immunocompromised nursing facility patients to die from The Virus because governors like Andrew Cuomo in New York and Phil Murphy in New Jersey forced these facilities to accept COVID patients.
These are the consequences that have ensued from the “mitigation” policies—based as they are on the wildly inaccurate models designed by the now disgracedepically and perpetually wrong Neil Ferguson—prescribed by such bureaucrats as Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, enthusiastically promoted by partisan hacks in Big Media, and imposed upon the citizenry by power-hungry politicians.
This is the incalculable human suffering and death brought about by those who coerced the country into “Social Distancing.”
Physically; emotionally; psychologically; spiritually; socially—the real crisis, the real existential crisis, confronting all of us is not some virus from which 99.6%-99.9% of those who contract it recover, but the reduction of America to a giant internment camp and its citizens to its prisoners.
It is the mandatory “quarantining,” or “lockdown,” of America that comprises the greatest of all “public health” crises.
Governors, like (#not) my governor, Phil Murphy of New Jersey, style themselves war-time executives.  They incessantly appropriate the rhetoric of war to justify their draconian decrees.  Yet wars have and can only ever be waged against people, not viruses.  It is the residents of their states upon whom they are waging “war”—even if many of the residents are ignorant of the fact that they are the targets of a (sweeping, remarkably successful) psychological operation and the governors justify their actions in the name of “keeping people safe.”
Given the foregoing facts, it is high-time for the opponents of the Internment to take the moral high ground that is rightfully theirs.  I recommend (for now) taking at least the following two steps going forward:
(1) First, while “lockdown” is certainly a term loaded with negative connotations, we may be better advised to select the term used here, for “internment” dredges up in the collective consciousness the memory of a darker time in our history when Americans of certain backgrounds were confined to geographical regions of the country that were made into “camps.”  This is a set of circumstances that most Americans have been determined to never again replicate.  In referring to our present situation as an “internment,” perhaps more people will catch onto its ominous character.
(2) Those in conservative media, especially those on television, like, say, Fox News, should stop with the running numbers of (alleged) COVID-19 infections and deaths and, instead, focus exclusively upon the immeasurable suffering and death brought about by the Internment of 2020.  They could spend countless hours reporting on personal stories from around the country of people who have been adversely impacted by it.
Those of us who detest the Internment have all of the moral capital.
Our oppressors who have interned the country, imperiling not just hundreds of millions of Americans, but potentially billions of human beings around the planet, have none of it.
Let’s start acting like the moral superiors on this issue that we are.
Let’s put the Great UnReason behind us once and for all.

DRUNK WITH POWER!
MICHIGAN’S GOVERNOR WHITMER
AT IT AGAIN
MI Governor Says 1st Amendment “Not Appropriate in a Global Pandemic” “Racist,” “Misogynistic”

Obey me or pay me! That pretty much sums up the rhetoric coming from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer who continues to defy the Constitution and chide anyone who might dare to imply that her authoritarian power is limited by that archaic document.
Of course, if you didn’t catch the sarcasm in that, let me help. She’s a tyrant who has no regard for the law and limits on government overreach. None.
Recently, Whitmer apprised her peasants that she alone had the power to determine when, what, and where the economy can reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic asserting that her executive shutdown orders are “not suggestions,” “not optional,” and “not helpful hints.” Nevermind that pesky outdated First Amendment thing:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
That, according to Whitmer, is “not appropriate in a global pandemic.” She continued, “This is calls to violence. This is racist and misogynistic,” comparing protests in the Michigan Capitol to Naziism.
“I do think that the fact of the matter is these protests, in a perverse way, make it likelier that we’re going to have to stay in a stay-at-home posture.”
So let’s get this straight — Whitmer believes she has the sole authority to lockdown an entire state, prevent people from practicing their Constitutionally-protected right to protest the lockdown, slander people by calling them names for doing so, and punish them with an extended lockdown if they refuse to grovel at her divine feet.
By the way, this peaceful protest you see below is what Whitmer says is so
racist, misogynistic, and Nazi-like.

Right. In the words of the great pastor and teacher John MacArthur,
Miss Whitmer needs to “go home”.
Michigan Gov. @gretchenwhitmer calls some protests in her state “racist and misogynistic” and urges others “to stop encouraging this behavior because it only makes it that much more precarious for us to try to reengage our economy.” http://abcn.ws/2RiH3wd

GESTAPO POLICE STATE NEW JERSEY: ELIZABETH, N.J. LANDLORD, ACQUITTED LAST YEAR OF ANTI-MUSLIM BIAS, MUST STAND TRIAL AGAIN

The double jeopardy clause in the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits the government from prosecuting individuals more than once for a single offense and from imposing more than one punishment for a single offense. It provides that “No person shall … be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb.”

“A jury sided with Greda, saying the plaintiffs failed to prove he discriminated against Farghaly based on her religion.”
But that doesn’t matter. He has offended the new protected class. Our moral superiors will keep putting William Greda, and others like him, on trial until they get the verdict they want.
“NJ landlord must stand trial again over accusations of anti-Muslim bias, judges rule,” by Terrence T. McDonald, NorthJersey.com, May 15, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
An Elizabeth landlord cleared by a jury last year of charges that he refused to rent an apartment to a Muslim woman must stand trial again, an appellate panel ruled on Wednesday.
The three-court panel ordered a new trial because, the judges say in their 36-page ruling, the landlord’s defense attorney improperly questioned the Muslim woman about her religious beliefs during the initial trial.
By asking her about references to “infidels” in the Quran and Islamic politics, the landlord’s lawyer elicited “highly prejudicial” testimony that had no value and impaired the woman’s credibility in front of the jury, the ruling says.
The judges also said the trial judge improperly declared a televised news interview with the landlord, William Greda, inadmissible as evidence.
“The only victim here is Mr. Greda, who was forced to undergo this malicious prosecution by New Jersey,” said Greda’s attorney, Vincent Sanzone. “The people will speak again in a retrial.”
The dispute at the center of the case dates to February 2016 and it is detailed in the appellate judges’ decision.
Fatma Farghaly alleges she visited Greda’s 17-unit apartment building in Elizabeth wearing a khimar, or head covering. Farghaly alleges Greda asked her if she is Muslim and then told her, “I don’t rent to Muslims” before asking her to leave. Farghaly captured a subsequent conversation with Greda on her phone.
Farghaly reported the incident to Elizabeth police, then to the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. The division followed up with two undercover visits. During the first, a division employee wearing a headscarf asked to see an apartment in Greda’s building and says he told her the apartment was “not good” for her. A second division employee not wearing a headscarf visited later and says Greda did not tell her the apartment was unsuitable.
The Civil Rights Division and the state Attorney General’s Office filed a complaint in October 2016 charging Greda with violating Farghaly’s civil rights. Then-Attorney General Christopher Porrino called Greda’s conduct “blatantly bias-driven.”
During the five-day trial, Greda denied Farghaly’s description of events and testified he believed she may have planned the encounter so they could “extort from him to support ISIS.”
A jury sided with Greda, saying the plaintiffs failed to prove he discriminated against Farghaly based on her religion.
The appellate judges took issue with several moments during the trial involving Sanzone. Sanzone repeatedly violated rules of evidence by asking Farghaly about Islam and at one point “gratuitously” suggested her accountant and doctor are Muslim, the judges say.
“Defense counsel’s questioning about Farghaly’s religious beliefs and the principles in the Quran constituted a clear and direct attack on her credibility,” the ruling says. “Indeed, the questioning sought information that had no substantive, probative value to any factual issue presented in the matter.”…

HEALTH OFFICIALS LAUNCH MOBILE APP TO PRE-REGISTER CHICAGOANS FOR MASS COVID-19 VACCINES~IMPLEMENTING “CONTACT TRACING, MAPPING, MONITORING”~WHY “OPERATION WARP SPEED” COULD BE DEADLY; FORCING VACCINES ON YOU WITH IMMUNITY FOR THE PHARMACEUTICALS

HEALTH OFFICIALS LAUNCH MOBILE APP
TO PRE-REGISTER CHICAGOANS
FOR COVID-19 VACCINE
BY RISHMA PARPIA
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research
purposes:
The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) has developed a website and an application known as the “Chi COVID Coach “ app where Chicagoans can now pre-register to receive a COVID-19 vaccine once it is licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the U.S.1
According to the Chicago Sun Times, the “Chi COVID Coach” mobile app was developed by Google and MTX in collaboration with the CDPH to help communicate with Chicagoans who have either tested positive for the coronavirus or may be experiencing symptoms.1 The application uses Google Cloud’s technology to provide residents with real-time information.

Pre-Registration for Future Mass Vaccination in Chicago

The CDPH website states that the main purpose of the “Chi COVID Coach” app is to coach COVID-19 patients on symptoms, provide testing information, announce the availability of future antibody testing information and allow pre-registration for when a vaccine becomes available.2
The website states, “Looking even further ahead, registering with Chi COVID Coach will ensure CDPH has your individual information as we plan for Chicago’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign–which likely will not happen until 2021, once a vaccine is available.”
CDPH Commissioner Allison Arwady said officials are building their plans with the intention to vaccinate the whole city of Chicago.3 According to a press release from Mayor Lori Elaine Lightfoot’s office, “Though a vaccine may be many months away, CDPH is already taking steps to prepare for mass vaccination. Because of this, everyone is encouraged to sign up, whether they have symptoms or not.”4
Although Mayor Lightfoot and CDPH Commissioner Arwady said a COVID-19 vaccine is not expected until 2021, both said they are already mapping plans to vaccinate the whole city by purchasing syringes and equipment and choosing locations where the vaccine will be administered.1

Using Technology For “Contact Tracing” and Mapping Plans

Even though a COVID-19 vaccine is not expected to be licensed for emergency use until the end of this year with widespread use not expected until 2021, the goal of pre-registering Chicagoans and collecting personal medical information in an electronic database will make the data immediately available to public health officials once a licensed vaccine is distributed in the United States.5
Public health officials in Chicago are weighing technology options needed to link a person’s symptoms to COVID-19 test results, vaccination status and ultimately, contact tracing.5
Contact tracing involves electronically monitoring the movements of people, usually through smartphones carried by the majority of people, and tracing everyone that a person, who tests positive for the coronavirus, has been in contact with. Public health officials have said that this practice is viewed as a crucial step to safely re-open the Chicago economy.5
Mayor Lightfoot said that the city of Chicago is looking at adopting a mobile app technology being developed in Germany.1 She states, “The German government is working on an app that will automatically be able to do and facilitate contact tracing on the basis of proximity to somebody who is subsequently tested positive. The app will collect information about who you’ve been in contact with, then automatically send out an alert.”1
Chicago officials maintain that the electronic surveillance data is protected and will only be used by CDPH for public health purposes related to controlling the spread of COVID-19.5

WHY “OPERATION WARP SPEED” COULD BE DEADLY
BY  BARRY BROWNSTEIN, PhD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research
purposes:
Opinion | Politicians are dreaming of a “Manhattan Project-style effort” to develop and distribute a coronavirus vaccine “for most Americans by year’s end.” To accomplish this dramatic cut in vaccine development time, “the program will pull together private pharmaceutical companies, government agencies and the military.” Normal vaccine development time is significantly longer.
Fourteen potential coronavirus vaccines are vying to be selected as the winner of “Operation Warp Speed.” Government will shield pharmaceutical companies from liability for damages that their vaccines may inflict. Taxpayers will reimburse companies for development costs for vaccines that don’t make it to market.
If you’re cheering the government for cutting red-tape, think again. Liability shields for crony capitalists and no cost for failure policies guarantee errors will be made. Without market safeguards significant injuries to human beings are highly likely. Errors will be exacerbated if medical tyranny prevails with legal mandates requiring the COVID-19 vaccination for employment and travel.
Haven’t we learned there was no such thing as efficient food distribution in the Soviet Union? Haven’t we learned there was no such thing as a safe East German Communist Trabant automobile? There is no such thing as efficient and safe, centrally planned pharmaceutical development. As we will see later in this essay, the last time government sought a “warp speed” vaccine, dead and paralyzed vaccine recipients were the tragic consequences.

Limits on Liability

Pharmaceuticals, including vaccines, have benefits and costs. We don’t have to resolve our cognitive dissonance by denying the benefits of vaccines or denying the harm they can do.
Faced with “challenges to vaccine orthodoxy, scholars, commentators, and public health officials are quick to characterize dissent as mere propaganda of ‘anti-vaxxers,’” writes law professor Efthimios Parasidis in his Boston University Law Review article “Recalibrating Vaccination Laws.”
Parasidis wrote his essay a mere three years ago. Could he have imagined what is happening today, just a few years later? A group affiliated with the FBI is labeling those who question the vaccine orthodoxy as a “threat to national security.” In a similar vein, California State Senator Dr. Richard Pan claims that those demanding an end to lockdowns and those who question vaccines “have the same message: We want you to get sick.” Demonizing dissenters is rhetoric straight out of a totalitarian playbook. People who threaten “national security” and who “want you to get sick” will be ideal “devils” for politicians to blame when their own policies fail.
Parasidis wrote that such tactics obfuscate safety and legal issues, “Focusing contemporary vaccine policy debate on anti-vaxxer rhetoric detracts from adequate consideration of important vaccine-related issues.” In his article, Parasidis points to both “the health benefits of vaccines” and “the shortcomings of the legal framework governing immunizations.”
The shortcomings of the legal framework to which Parasidis refers stem from the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (Vaccine Act).
The Vaccine Act granted pharmaceutical manufacturers broad legal immunity from lawsuits for vaccine injuries. Further, Parasidis writes, “once a vaccine is approved and made available to the public, a manufacturer does not have a statutory obligation to actively collect and analyze safety and efficacy data, nor are manufacturers obligated to update vaccine formulas in light of new scientific advancements.”
On top of the protections in the 1986 Vaccine Act, vaccine manufacturers have received additional liability protections under a February 2020 declaration by Alex Azar, Secretary of Health and Human Services. Azar claims his authority to make such a declaration is granted by the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act).
Azar’s order makes “immune from suit and liability…to all claims of loss,” for all those who “manufacture, distribute, administer, prescribe or use” any treatments or vaccines. Administer a rushed-to-market vaccine to healthy individuals at no particular risk from COVID-19 and the government will shield you from liability. Lobby to make the vaccine mandatory and government will shield you from liability.
Noted vaccine advocates and developers such as Dr. Paul Offit have expressed alarm that “warp speed” developers might ignore standard vaccine development safeguards. “Remember,” Offit cautioned, “You’re giving this vaccine, likely, to healthy people — who are not the people typically dying from this infection.”
Liability shields warp decision-making and increase risk. Having to pay insurance premiums provides incentives to reduce risk. Think of insurance premiums on cars. Insurance premiums might help us decide against the sports car we have been coveting for years in favor of a sedate sedan. High insurance premiums for drivers involved in crashes or caught driving drunk or frequently speeding help those drivers make needed behavioral changes.
If the government indemnified us from damages from driving, risky driving would become more common. Those taking added risks would fool themselves with an illusion of competency. They might be indignant when charged with endangering others.
Libertarian law professor Richard Epstein has explored the problem in limiting liability. Writing about the 2010 BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill, he explained why “the best way to deter future spills is to expose drillers to the full costs of any mistake and not let any company without proper insurance near an oil derrick.”
Let’s rewrite Epstein’s observations: the best way to ensure vaccine safety is to expose pharmaceutical companies to the full costs of any mistake and not let any company without proper insurance near a human body.
Epstein was adamant:
The legal system should never allow self-interested parties to keep for themselves all the gains from dangerous activities that unilaterally impose losses on others—which is why the most devout defender of laissez-faire must insist, not just concede, that tough medicine is needed in these cases.
As Epstein explained, insurance companies are the best regulators:
“A tough liability system does more than provide compensation for serious harms after the fact. It also sorts out the wheat from the chaff—so that in this case companies with weak safety profiles don’t get within a mile of an oil derrick. Solid insurance underwriting is likely to do a better job in pricing risk than any program of direct government oversight. Only strong players, highly incentivized and fully bonded, need apply for a permit to operate.”
Epstein’s logic applies to the Vaccine Act. Pharmaceutical companies are highly incentivized to produce the safest vaccines when they are subject to the discipline of obtaining insurance coverage.
Those advocating in favor of liability shields say that protecting public health requires this waiver. Without the waiver, they claim, too few vaccines would be produced.
The case against liability shields is not a case against vaccines; it is a case against the distorted production of vaccines. Limits on liability override the risk-reducing incentives provided by having to pay insurance premiums and thus result in vaccines that are less safe than they would otherwise be.

Swine Flu Lessons

In his book, The Myth of Scientific Public Policy, economist Robert Formaini challenges the view that elite experts can evaluate public policy objectively “while remaining neutral on troublesome ethical issues.”
Formaini looks at lessons we should have learned from the 1976 swine flu outbreak. The outbreak began at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The flu outbreak was not unusual; it was winter, and in the close quarters of army barracks, respiratory illnesses and flu were common. Formaini writes, “The outbreak may have passed unnoticed except for a bet between two doctors about the nature of the disease.” Throat cultures were sent to multiple health organizations; the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) found swine flu.
The CDC asked Congress “for a $134 million program to vaccinate virtually every person within the United States.”
Formaini writes, “Private drug companies did not want to make the vaccine unless they were statutorily protected from liability from torts.” Congress granted such protection despite warnings from some such luminaries as polio vaccine pioneer Dr. Albert Sabin. Sabin “castigated the rush to vaccinate everyone and urged that vaccines be stockpiled for ‘high risk’ groups.” Sabin also derided “scare tactics” used to get people to vaccinate.
Within months, a swine flu vaccine was produced and approved. The CDC failed “to alert the public to any serious potential side effects other than a possible case of ‘mild’ flu.” Even a mild flu can lead “to fatal complications” for “high-risk groups.”
Within days, 33 people who received the vaccine died. Health officials refused to acknowledge the connection between the vaccine and the deaths. “Walter Cronkite chastised his media colleagues” for covering the deaths. Vaccinations continued, and an alarming number of Guillain-Barré syndrome cases, a known potentially fatal side effect of flu vaccines, appeared.
Shortly after that, the CDC director resigned, and government shelved the vaccination program.
Formaini raised pointed questions that should be asked again today in the rush for a COVID-19 vaccine. Among those questions were:
  1. Why did “experts immediately decide” that “universal vaccination was the only option?”
  2. “Why were the drug companies released from liability if the ‘risks’ were so small?”
  3. “Why was disengagement so difficult when the program’s consequences began to materialize?”
  4.  “Who ought to have been liable for this policy?”
Today’s experts are like the experts in the 1970s who were full of hubris and overconfidence. Policy analysts who later examined the 1976 swine flu concluded among other things:
  1. “There was overconfidence by medical specialists in theories ‘spun’ from ‘meager evidence.’”
  2. “Conclusions were reached ‘fueled by conjunctions’ with pre-existing ‘personal agendas.’”
  3. “There often was ‘premature commitment’—deciding more than had to be decided.”
  4. There often was “insufficient questioning of scientific logic and implementation prospects.”
Distorted decision-making was driven by “rent-seeking” by public officials during this crisis where “the heads of bureaucratic departments or agencies,” sought expansion of “their personal empires within the government.”
Reading Formaini, it is easy to see the same mistakes of 1976 repeated in 2020. In his Meditations, Marcus Aurelius observed of politics, “All of this has happened before. And will happen again—the same plot from beginning to end, the identical staging.”

Biochemical Individuality

The late biochemist Roger J. Williams is famed for his study of the implications of biochemical individuality. His research explains the importance of understanding that “real people exhibit individuality and in a sense are always exceptional people.” Biochemical individuality explains why, for some, a coronavirus vaccine may help to maintain health; for others, it may prove deadly.
In his essay “Individuality and Its Significance in Human Life” contained in the Liberty Fund book Essays on Individuality, Williams writes: “Concerning the ubiquity of individuality, we can, I believe, accept without danger of contradiction the categorical statement that every human individual (even in the case of identical twins) is distinctive and different.”
Yet, in medicine, often only lip service is paid to individuality. We like “the idea of distinctiveness,” yet, as Williams observes, we are “all the time being ignorant about the character of the differences and perhaps even assuming they are inconsequential.”
Williams explores startling differences in our organs: “Although the textbook picture of the human stomach, for example, is well stereotyped, there are enormous variations in shape and about a sixfold variation in size.” Even the position of the stomach in the body may vary by up to eight inches.
Similar differences in size and position are found in livers and intestines. Should we be surprised, Williams asks, “that people exhibit individuality in their eating?”
Williams explains that “Each individual has a highly characteristic breathing pattern,” and “has a distinctive heart action.”
“Endocrine glands vary widely from individual to individual.” Williams adds that “our entire nervous system is subject to the same wide variation, which is not only anatomic but physiological as well.
If you’re thinking all these differences even out and most people are average, you would be wrong. The chance that we have an average anatomical makeup, according to Williams, is only about one in 1024.
Physiological individuality is also the norm. For example, there are up to “100 fold variations in the taste sensitivity of different individuals for such common substances as sugar [and] salt.” Nutritional needs vary up top fivefold for vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
In short, Williams writes, “Whether we consider heart action, brain waves, circulation, breathing, the endocrine functions, the blood, temperature regulation, or a multitude of other facets of physiology, the story is the same—abundant evidence of individuality involving differences of great magnitude.”
Biochemical individuality has great significance for the administration of drugs or vaccines. Since body chemistries differ among individuals, reactions to pharmaceuticals also differ.
According to Williams, “Some specific chemical reactions may be taking place 10 times as fast in one individual as in another.” Consider that “Using objective tests 10.5 percent were intoxicated when the alcohol blood level was 0.05 percent, whereas 6.7 percent were sober when the alcohol blood level was eight times this high or 0.4 percent.”
There is no “normal man” for which a particular reaction is guaranteed.
Williams emphatically rejects the assumption of “every recognized treatise in the fields of biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, and physiological psychology… that normal man, the prototype of all humanity, is the primary if not the exclusive object of study—he, above all is to be fathomed and understood.”
Caution is warranted. Previous attempts to develop “SARS coronavirus vaccines” led to “pulmonary” issues in animal testing. Vaccines against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) led to enhanced disease response among infants and toddlers. “Frequent hospitalization” was the result; an unacceptable result since RSV illnesses are usually mild. Despite “expert” assurances to the contrary, medical research suggests receiving a flu vaccination “may increase the risk of other respiratory viruses, a phenomenon known as virus interference.”

The Greater Good?

Some might say, yes, mandatory vaccines may harm some, but the greater goal of protecting public health is worth the price. This “greater good” mindset led to the famed New York Times correspondent Walter Duranty covering up Stalin’s atrocities. Duranty was fond of saying, “You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.”
Immunization levels thought to generate herd immunity, “magic numbers,” have never been proven as public health historian James Colgrove reports in his book State of Immunity: The Politics of Vaccination in Twentieth-Century America.
In 2009, during another swine flu outbreak, in their essay, “Does the Vaccine Matter?” Shannon Brownlee and Jeanne Lenzer report of doctors challenging the medical orthodoxy about flu vaccines and antivirals. They provided evidence that “flu vaccines do not protect people from dying—particularly the elderly, who account for 90 percent of deaths from seasonal flu.”
Vaccination may have unintended psychological consequences as well. Brownlee and Lenzer observe a connection between vaccinating and “breeding feelings of invulnerability, and leading some people to ignore simple measures like better-than-normal hygiene, staying away from those who are sick, and staying home when they feel ill.” Feelings of invulnerability lead people to eschew responsibility and become potential breeding grounds for disease.
Nothing we can do will guarantee health, but there are steps we can take that tilt the odds in our favor. Sugar-laden diets suppress the immunological system, while exercise boosts it. This year, the average American will eat nearly 200 pounds of disease-promoting sugar and corn syrup and will consume only about 6 pounds of disease-fighting broccoli and a mere “2 to 3 cups of kale every year — one of the healthiest foods on the planet.”
Biochemical individuality explains why, for some, a coronavirus vaccine may help to maintain health; for others, it may prove deadly. Biochemical individuality also explains why there is no one best way to a healthy immune system. Some thrive on keto diets, while others thrive on vegan diets. Others seek a middle ground in a Mediterranean diet.
For some, perhaps those in crowded urban environments, taking a COVID-19 vaccine may seem like a wise choice. Individuals choosing to be vaccinated deserve the safest possible vaccine, a vaccine for which insurance companies insuring vaccine manufacturers will provide liability protection.
For those who wish to avoid a COVID-19 vaccine, fundamental natural rights guarantee that freedom. No individual should be forcibly injected with a vaccine because of policy mandates from self-interested and zealous “expert” decision-makers.
Williams is clear: “Among the myriad of potentialities with which every individual is born, there still are an infinite number of possibilities of development—provided this ability to order one’s own life exists.” “In medicine,” Williams writes, “recognition of the scope and importance of individuality is indispensable to progress.”
For a central planner, individuality is a meaningless idea. Central planners will ignore Williams’s admonition at our peril.

OUR DRESS REHEARSAL FOR A POLICE STATE~THE GREATEST THREAT TO LIBERTY SINCE AMERICA’S FOUNDING

OUR DRESS REHEARSAL FOR A POLICE STATE~THE GREATEST THREAT TO LIBERTY SINCE AMERICA’S FOUNDING

All my life, I have dismissed paranoids on the right (“America is headed to communism”) and the left (“It can happen here” — referring to fascism). It’s not that I’ve ever believed liberty was guaranteed. Being familiar with history and a pessimist regarding the human condition, I never believed that.
But the ease with which police state tactics have been employed and the equal ease with which most Americans have accepted them have been breathtaking.
People will argue that a temporary police state has been justified because of the allegedly unique threat to life posed by the new coronavirus. I do not believe the data will bear that out. Regardless, let us at least agree that we are closer to a police state than ever in American history.
“Police state” does not mean totalitarian state. America is not a totalitarian state; we still have many freedoms. In a totalitarian state, this article could not be legally published, and if it were illegally published, I would be imprisoned and/or executed. But we are presently living with all four of the key hallmarks of a police state:
No. 1: Draconian laws depriving citizens of elementary civil rights.
The federal, state, county and city governments are now restricting almost every freedom except those of travel and speech. Americans have been banned from going to work (and thereby earning a living), meeting in groups (both indoors and outdoors), meeting in their cars in church parking lots to pray and entering state-owned properties such as beaches and parks — among many other prohibitions.
No. 2: A mass media supportive of the state’s messaging and deprivation of rights.
The New York Times, CNN and every other mainstream mass medium — except Fox News, The Wall Street Journal (editorial and opinion pages only) and talk radio — have served the cause of state control over individual Americans’ lives just as Pravda served the Soviet government. In fact, there is almost no more dissent in The New York Times than there was in Pravda. And the Big Tech platforms are removing posts about the virus and potential treatments they deem “misinformation.”
No. 3: Use of police.
Police departments throughout America have agreed to enforce these laws and edicts with what can only be described as frightening alacrity. After hearing me describe police giving summonses to, or even arresting, people for playing baseball with their children on a beach, jogging alone without a mask, or worshipping on Easter while sitting isolated in their cars in a church parking lot, a police officer called my show. He explained that the police have no choice. They must respond to every dispatch they receive.
“And why are they dispatched to a person jogging on a beach or sitting alone in a park?” I asked.
Because the department was informed about these lawbreakers.
“And who told the police about these lawbreakers?” I asked.
His answer brings us to the fourth characteristic of a police state:
No. 4: Snitches.
How do the police dispatchers learn of lawbreakers such as families playing softball in a public park, lone joggers without face masks, etc.? From their fellow citizens snitching on them.
The mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, set up a “snitch line,” whereby New Yorkers were told to send authorities photos of fellow New Yorkers violating any of the quarantine laws. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti similarly encouraged snitching, unabashedly using the term.
It is said that about 1 in every 100 East German citizens were informers for the Stasi, the East German secret police, as superbly portrayed in the film “The Lives of Others.” It would be interesting, and, I think, important, to know what percentage of New Yorkers informed on their fellow citizens. Now, again, you may think such a comparison is not morally valid, that de Blasio’s call to New Yorkers to serve a Stasi-like role was morally justified given the coronavirus pandemic. But you cannot deny it is Stasi-like or that, other than identifying spies during World War II, this is unprecedented in American history at anywhere near this level.
This past Friday night, I gathered with six others for a Shabbat dinner with friends in Santa Monica, California. On my Friday radio show, I announced I would be doing that, and if I was arrested, it would be worth it. In my most pessimistic dreams, I never imagined that in America, having dinner at a friend’s house would be an act of civil disobedience, perhaps even a criminal act. But that is precisely what happens in a police state.
The reason I believe this is a dress rehearsal is that too many Americans appear untroubled by it; the dominant force in America, the left, supports it, and one of the two major political parties has been taken over by the left. Democrats and their supporters have, in effect, announced they will use state power to enforce any law they can to combat the even greater “existential” crisis of global warming.
On the CNN website this weekend, in one of the most frightening and fanatical articles in an era of fanaticism, Bill Weir, CNN chief climate correspondent, wrote an open letter to his newborn son. In it, he wrote of his idealized future for America: “completely new forms of power, food, construction, transportation, economics and politics.”
You cannot get there without a police state.
If you love liberty, you must see that it is jeopardized more than at any time since America’s founding. And that means, among other things, that at this time, a vote for any Democrat is a vote to end liberty.
