Here is one young woman’s account of what happened at the music festival when the Hamas killers arrived. The night was a getaway. Thousands of young men and women gathered at a vast field in southern Israel near the Gaza border to dance without a care. Old and new friends jumped up and down, reveling in the swirl of the bass-heavy beats.
Maya Alper was standing toward the back of the bar with teams of environmentally conscious volunteers, picking up trash and passing out free vodka shots to party-goers who reused their cups. Just after 6.a.m., as a light-blue dawn broke and the headliner D.J. took the stage, air raid sirens cut through the ethereal trap music. Rockets streaked overhead.
Alper, 25, jumped into her car and raced to the main road. But at the intersection she encountered crowds of stricken festival attendees, shouting at drivers to turn around. Then, a noise. Firecrackers? Panicked men and women staggering down the road just in front of her fell to the ground in pools of blood. Gunshots.
Saturday’s attack on the open-air Tribe of Nova music festival is believed to be the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history, with at least 260 dead and a still undetermined number taken hostage. [No: the attack was not just at the music festival, but at two dozen sites all over southern Israel; 1000 Israelis were murdered in what was “the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history.”] Dozens of Hamas militants who had blown through Israel’s heavily fortified separation fence and crossed into the country from Gaza opened fire on about 3,500 young Israelis who had come together for a joyous night of electronic music to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot….
“We were hiding and running, hiding and running, in an open field — the worst place you could possibly be in that situation,” said Arik Nani from Tel Aviv, who had gone to the party to celebrate his 26th birthday. “For a country where everyone in these circles knows everyone, this is a trauma like I could never imagine.”…
Festival-goers who managed to make it to the road and parking lot where their vehicles were parked found themselves trapped in a traffic jam, with militants stalking the cars and spraying those inside with gunfire. Drone footage of the scene taken after the attack and reviewed by the AP shows chaotic lines of cars where drivers had attempted to flee. Some burned-out vehicles were flipped onto their sides, while others had bullet holes visible in shattered windows.
Nowhere was safe, Alper said. The roar of explosions, hysterical screams, and automatic gunfire felt closer the further she drove. When a man just meters away shouted “God is great!”, Alper and her new companions sprung out of the car and sprinted through open fields toward a mass of bushes.
Alper felt a bullet whiz past her left ear. Aware the gunmen would outrun her, she plunged into a tangle of shrubs. Peering through thorns, she said she saw one of her passengers, the girl who had lost her friend, shriek and collapse as a gunman stood over her limp body, grinning.
“I can’t even explain the energy they (the militants) had. It was so clear they didn’t see us as human beings,” she said. “They looked at us with pure, pure hate.”
Videos show the gunmen executed some of the wounded at point-blank range as they crouched on the ground….
“Every time I thought of anger, or fear or revenge, I breathed it out,” she said. “I tried to think of what I was grateful for — the bush that hid me so well that even birds landed on it, the birds that were still singing, the sky that was so blue.”…
Even in her fear and despair, Maya Alper managed to hold on for more than six hours by thinking about — it’s a line of pure poetry — “the birds that were still singing, the sky that was so blue.”
“This is not just war. This is hell,” Alper said. “But in that hell, I still feel that somehow, we can choose to act out of love, and not just fear.”
Remember this account. Remember the Hamas men moving methodically to mow down everyone — those trying to escape in cars, those who ran across open fields, those who tried to get into shelters, those who tried to play dead and then were dead. Remember the Hamas killer, having just murdered a girl, who was seen by Maya Alper standing over her limp body, grinning.

A music festival reveler who was at the rave in Israel when Hamas terrorists infiltrated and began killing partygoers was able to survive by hiding for seven hours under the bodies of those who were killed in the attack.
Lee Sasi was attending the all-night rave that drew in a crowd of about 3,000, mostly young Israelis, when Hamas launched their surprise attack Saturday morning, sending festival attendees running for their lives and taking cover in orchards as gunfire rang out for hours.
Sasi and about 35 others had taken cover in a bomb shelter when they were discovered by Hamas fighters, who began shooting into the bunker at random.
Horrifying video shows people crammed into a tight space, some hiding under the bodies of those who were killed.
In the messages, Sasi tells her friend there were between 30 and 35 people originally in the bomb shelter alive — but by the time she was saved seven hours later, only 10 people came out alive.
Her friend asks if that was how many people were still alive after they were saved and she replies, “Yes after 7 hours being in hiding under dead bodies in the bomb shelters.”
“I’m not joking,” she added, sending a photo of what appears to be several bodies stacked on top of each other….

Will there be jihad attacks in the U.S. and Europe tomorrow? It’s possible. The personnel are certainly in place. But the jihadis are smart enough not to interrupt their enemies when those enemies are in the process of making a mistake, and they know that the Biden regime will start pressuring Israel to make concessions soon, while violent jihad attacks in the U.S. could scare it off from applying that pressure. It’s more likely that simply by issuing this call, Meshaal is attempting to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60). Still, we will only see for sure on Friday.
“Ex-Hamas chief calls on ‘Islamic world’ to stage global protests against Israel on Friday,” by Alex Oliveira, New York Post, October 11, 2023:
The former leader of Hamas called on Muslims to stage global demonstrations in support of Palestinians on Friday, and urged Arabs in neighboring countries to take up arms against Israel.
Khaled Meshaal, who served as chief of Hamas from 2004 to 2017, called on the Islamic world to stage the protests.
“[We must] head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday,” Meshaal said in a recorded statement sent to Reuters.
Meshaal is based in Qatar, where he serves as the head of the Hamas diaspora office.
“To all scholars who teach jihad … to all who teach and learn, this is a moment for the application [of jihad],” he said.
Meshaal specifically called on the governments and peoples of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan to join the fight against Israel, characterizing their involvement as a duty.
“Tribes of Jordan, sons of Jordan, brothers and sisters of Jordan … This is a moment of truth and the borders are close to you, you all know your responsibility,” he said….

Islamic terrorism isn’t just directed at Israel, but at the whole world.
Hamas, much like Al Qaeda, is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Its ambitions are not limited to Israel. It’s a theological movement aimed at the ultimate Islamic religious ambition of conquering and subjugating the world.
Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Zahar said on a December 12, 2022 show on Al-Masirah TV (Houthis-Yemen),”when we speak about the Army of Jerusalem and the Battle of the Promise of the Hereafter, we are not talking about liberating our land alone – but we believe in what our Prophet Muhammad said: “‘Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake, and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my nation would reach those ends that have been drawn near me.’”
“The entire 510 million square kilometers of Planet Earth will come under [a system] where there is no injustice, no oppression, no treachery, no Zionism, no treacherous Christianity.”
This isn’t some fringe idea, it’s the fundamental purpose of Islam.
Islamic terrorism is not just directed at Israel. It’s hard to think of any major country that hasn’t suffered Islamic terror attacks. That includes America, India, China, Russia, much of Europe, Canada, Australia, and the list just goes on and on.
Hamas terrorism is not a response to anything Israel did. That’s propaganda. It’s a response to the existence of Israel as a non-Muslim entity.
The war can’t end with any amount of concessions. It can only end with either the destruction of the world or of the Jihad.

In 2021, State Department officials warned that “there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza” and asked for a special exemption from sanctions on funding terrorists.
In 2022, Biden met with Palestinian Authority terror leader Mahmoud Abbas and boasted that “I reversed the policies of my predecessor and resumed aid to the Palestinians — more than half a billion dollars in 2021.”
While the Biden administration kept the assessment that it was at high risk of funding Hamas secret, the results could be seen in real-time. After the Trump administration and Congress cut off foreign aid to the terrorist areas in the West Bank and Gaza, the number of terrorist attacks dropped sharply. So did the casualties. In all of 2020, only three Israelis were killed.
In 2021, when Biden restored aid to the terrorists, Israeli casualties shot up 900%.
They have since consistently risen every year Biden was in office, up another 82% from 2021 to 2022. Even before the horrifying atrocities of the conclusion of the Jewish High Holy Days, twice as many Israelis had been killed in one month of Biden than in one year of Trump.
The money kept on rolling in even days before the attacks. On September 23, UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield declared herself “proud to announce the United States is providing more than $73 million in additional funding to support UNRWA”.
In the first days of October, Secretary of State Blinken overrode a hold by Senator Jim Risch on $75 million in funding for UNRWA, which is largely staffed by Hamas. Risch had imposed a hold along with other Republican senators, requiring that Blinken certify every 180 days that UNRWA meets accountability criteria because of its “long history of employing people connected to terrorist movements like Hamas” and “using its schools to store Hamas weapons.”
“It is unthinkable that U.S. taxpayer dollars would be used to help fund such an organization,” Sen. Risch stated.
It was extremely ‘thinkable’ to the Biden administration which knew that it was the case. Despite that, it authorized $148 million in aid in the weeks before Hamas launched its attack on Israel. Of that money, $75 million would be directly used for “humanitarian” purposes in Gaza.
Even after 9 Americans have been murdered and more taken hostage (a number that is likely to increase), no halt on aid and no review of past aid has been announced. There is every reason to think that payments to UNRWA will be made regardless of whether they benefit Hamas.
Biden’s UN Ambassador revealed that “in 2023 alone, the United States has contributed more than $296 million to UNRWA. And the Biden Administration has contributed nearly $1 billion since 2021.” Millions, tens of millions of that money, was inevitably used to murder, torture and behead concert goers, to fire rockets, to kidnap children and to finance Hamas operations.
After the High Holy Days atrocities, the European Union announced that it was halting its aid.
“The scale of terror and brutality against Israel and its people is a turning point. There can be no business as usual. As the biggest donor of the Palestinians, the European Commission is putting its full development portfolio under review, worth a total of EUR 691m,” the EU’s Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi announced. “All payments immediately suspended. All projects put under review. All new budget proposals, including for 2023 postponed until further notice. Comprehensive assessment of the whole portfolio.”
“We will put all development aid payments on ice for the time being,” Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg stated. “The scale of the terror is so horrendous. It’s such a fracture that one cannot go back to business as usual.”
No such announcement has come out of the Biden administration. The EU has reacted with shock and horror to rapes, murders and caged children. There’s been nothing like it in D.C. Samantha Power tweeted a condemnation of Hamas, but made no mention of an end or even a review of USAID funding. Secretary of State Blinken likewise offered nothing on foreign aid. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield claimed to be “outraged and horrified” at the “appalling unprovoked, brutal attacks by Hamas terrorists”, but made no mention of ending aid to them.
That should be taken to mean that the Biden administration will go on funding the terrorists.
The European statements only highlight the callousness and lack of humanity in the Biden administration which has offered press releases, but no deviation from its pre-existing agenda.
Before this, the Biden administration was aware that there was a “high risk” that it was funding Hamas. And it could see rising violence and deaths keeping peace with the money it was sending into terrorist areas. Despite that, it kept it up. Earlier this year it dispatched $148 million to UNRWA despite widely documented evidence that the UN agency’s workforce is dominated by Hamas terrorists who use its infrastructure to store weapons and carry out attacks.
While the Biden administration was sending hundreds of millions to the terrorists, it was enabling billions of dollars to make their way to Iran which was funding and training them.
The recent release of $6 billion to Iran through its Qatari allies, who also serve as state sponsors of Hamas, was only the latest in a series of payments that, like those of the Obama administration, illicitly bypassed American laws, in this case by going through South Korea.
Even more significantly, the Biden administration failed to enforce sanctions on Iran’s oil shipments to China. While officially the sanctions remained in place, the Islamic terrorist state was swimming in Chinese money from its massive increase in shipments to the PRC.
Beyond the $6 billion in the prisoner swap deal, the Biden administration had covertly agreed to stop intercepting and seizing Iranian oil tankers allowing the terror state to move 1.6 million barrels to China a day. Under Biden, Iran has been able to gain $47 billion from its China trade.
In September, Iman Nasseri, the managing director of the FGE energy consulting firm, suggested that, “I think Iranians have been given unwritten confirmation … that there won’t be any further sanctions on the crude buyers as long as they are engaged in the unofficial negotiations.”
The Biden administration was covertly undermining sanctions even while claiming that they were still in place. Iran’s newfound wealth was used to launch attacks on Americans in Iraq and to finance the extensive infrastructure and planning for the High Holy Days atrocities.
It is unknown how much of the sanctions relief to Iran and the foreign aid to the terrorist areas in Israel financed the High Holy Days atrocities, but there is no doubt that such sizable infusions of money would have played a role in making the unprecedented scale of the attacks possible.
And the Biden administration isn’t even expressing regret or imposing a pause on aid.
The devastating attacks, the murdered Israelis, the raped women and the caged children, fulfilled the foreign policy aims of the Biden administration which were to weaken Israel, and specifically Prime Minister Netanyahu, and to make the terrorists into the focus of negotiations, replacing the anti-Iran Abraham Accords with another round of anti-Israel peace talks.
The Biden administration was warned that its aid money would go to Hamas. It watched terrorist attacks increase every year that money resumed flowing to the terrorist areas. It filled its administration with advocates for terrorism against Israel including its envoy to the terrorists, Hady Amr, and now its policies paid off with the worst day of terror in Israel’s history.
Terrorism costs money. And we’re the ones paying for it.

Among the most despicable tweets on X recently comes from Edward Ahmed Mitchell, a Muslim civil rights attorney and National Deputy Director of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). He begins his tirade with “Bismillah,” that is, “in the name of Allah.” From there, he proceeds to savage Israel, spewing lies:
The IDF has never conducted operations that are legitimately comparable or bear any resemblance to the actions of Hamas savages, which have been described in recent days as worse than those of ISIS. Israel habitually warns Palestinians to leave an area before launching defensive maneuvers. The IDF is careful not to target civilians, including infants and the elderly.
Edward Ahmed Mitchell is a brazen liar. He was a featured antisemite of the week on the website Stop Antisemitism. In his tweet, Mitchell even twists the case of Christian Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed in crossfire between jihadists and IDF, in order to smear Israel.
The barbarism-supporting thug Edward Ahmed Mitchell enjoys life in America while justifying and potentially even encouraging jihad savagery. CAIR was found to be affiliated with Hamas and was designated an unindicted coconspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Trial, the largest terrorism funding trial in American history. So Mitchell’s lies, though repulsive, should come as no surprise.

Mills expressed that he felt compelled to make the mission after Hamas attacked the Jewish State. He also said that he is “helping and showing solidarity with our Israeli brethren and helping Americans evacuate.”
In a phone call with The Floridan, the representative said that he was able to rescue 32 Americans so far. However, Mills reiterated that there are still “hundreds trapped” in Israel.
In September 2021, Mills also helped American families escape from Afghanistan.
The White House has yet to announce a plan on how the administration will assist Americans who are trapped in Israel.
John Kirby, Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, announced on Wednesday that the Biden administration is in “active conversation” regarding bringing U.S. citizens home.
“We’re in active touch with American citizens in Israel, many of them are dual nationalities,” he said. “There are still commercial carriers flying in and out and there are viable ground routes.”
“Neither of those options may necessarily be feasible or affordable, so we are exploring a range of other options to assist if Americans want to leave, I’m just not at liberty to go into that,” Kirby continued.
As of Wednesday morning, 22 Americans have been reported dead, while more than 20 Americans are also still missing.
Additionally, a minimum of 1,200 Israelis have died as a result of the brutal attacks from the terrorist organization Hamas.

Israeli soldiers encounter unimaginable horrors are they remove the bodies of dozens of victims, including about 40 babies — some with their heads chopped off
Press were invited on Tuesday to survey the scene of devastation in Kfar Aza, the community massacred by Hamas terrorist infiltrators, as the IDF continues to remove bodies of victims from the homes where they were murdered.
For the first time the Israeli army let media channels into one of the massacred communities, in this case Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where plumes of smoke can be seen rising in the Gaza Strip, which lies less than a quarter of a mile away.
The community’s cars, parked outside, were completely torched. And it was just a small part of the destruction, with no exact number yet of how many people were murdered, as bodies are still being collected and removed from the homes.
The smell of death — that’s what’s left of a once vibrant community. Now, the foreign press was invited to witness the inhumane crimes, much like the Allies had done after they had won the second World War and liberated the Holocaust concentration camps. Upwards of 70 armed terrorists invaded the community, their bodies are still lying on the ground for the whole world to see the cruelty these Hamas terrorists committed.
“It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. You see the babies, the mother, the father, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms, and how the terrorists killed them,” IDF Major General Itai Veruv first described the scene. “It’s a massacre.”
Being on the border, Kfar Aza is still active, with IDF soldiers operating in the area, on alert for any potentially remaining terrorists. In addition, rockets continue to fly overhead, and the boom of mortars, for which there is no alert siren. Artillery can be heard in the background on the border fence. Even the terrorists’ vehicles are still here, and possibly booby-trapped with grenades or explosives.
But first, the army unit is dedicating itself to removing the bodies of the Israeli civilians. We can see them covered in sheets being carried out of their own homes where they were murdered. The IDF does not have a definitive number of victims yet.
Many soldiers were called up for reserve service and could be seen actively consoling each other after what they had to witness. They arrived expecting the worst, but the scenes are beyond anything that one could imagine. Some soldiers say they found babies with their heads cut off, entire families gunned down in their beds. About 40 babies and young children have been taken out on gurneys — so far….
Hamas has released footage of them beheading captured soldiers. We will not share it, but the world needs to know their depravity exceeds that of ISIS. And we have been telling you all for years.
The latest figures are that Hamas has murdered 900 people, injured over 2,600, and taken hostage at least 100 civilians and soldiers. The lack of news articles examining the similarities between Hamas and ISIS may be due at least in part to the fact that ISIS is established globally as a savage jihad group, while many have been indoctrinated with the wrongheaded view that support for Hamas is part of a Palestinian “resistance” against injustice. Another reality is the serious fact that far too many organizations (and their offshoots) that are now operating in Western countries are affiliated with Hamas. The Investigative Project provides a list of the names and groups of these affiliated groups, most of which were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terrorist funding trial in the history of the United States, the Holy Land Foundation trial. Defenders of and apologists for the violent Palestinian jihad (aka the “resistance”) have now infiltrated into the highest levels in America, Canada, and other Western nations. They have risen up by the thousands in anti-semitic, hateful protests full of incitement to violence. This incitement is increasing as Israel defends itself. All over the West, the people as well as the leaders have fallen short in understanding the danger in their midst, as Islam has been portrayed as a “religion of peace” since 9/11. (Once again, this is not to say that all Muslims ascribe to Sharia dictates on jihad, but a problematic and significant number do.) Although crackdowns upon speech or actions that offend Islam have become commonplace in Western societies, intimidating and hateful protests against the world’s lone, tiny Jewish state are tolerated and allowed to continue.
Aside from the obvious threats facing Israel, the West continues to be under the same ongoing jihad threat. That threat has been growing due to reckless immigration policies, as globalist leaders have welcomed in multitudes of aggressive, anti-semitic, and anti-Western Palestinian sympathizers. They have also enabled infiltration by a range of jihadists everywhere. Many Leftists see no problem with all this. Fox News reported about Donald Trump’s renewed warning to Biden about America being “invaded,” and “terrorists” being “already inside the US.” It is only a matter of time before we see severe consequences of this.

A press release directly from the Israel Government Press office reveals what Jihad Watch has previously reported: Hamas was using Islamic State tactics as it stormed Israeli communities and took captives. Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed the international community under the shadow of war, despite what many Leftists proclaim is merely a battle between Israel and the Palestinians, as they call for a ceasefire and for peace on both sides. If such a ceasefire were agreed to in the wake of the bloody Hamas assault, it could mean the end of Israel. That is, of course, the goal of all the major Palestinian political organizations; it is stated in the Palestinian National Charter and the Hamas Charter.

President Isaac Herzog’s Statement To The International Community:
As President of the State of Israel, I speak to you now from our capital city Jerusalem, under the dark shadow of war, as my nation continues to endure a savage attack from a cruel and inhumane enemy. To my mind, not since the Holocaust have so many Jews been killed on one day. And not since the Holocaust, have we witnessed scenes of Jewish women and children, grandparents – even Holocaust survivors – being herded into trucks and taken into captivity.
Hamas has imported, adopted, and replicated the savagery of ISIS. Entering civilian homes on a holy day, and murdering in cold blood, whole families. Young and old. Violating and burning bodies. Beating and torturing their innocent victims – Jews and Muslims and other faiths.
The brutality. The inhumanity. The barbarity of monsters – not humans – monsters.
Over the past days, I have spoken with leaders from around the world who expressed their deep outrage at the attack – including Vice President Harris, Secretary of State Blinken, the heads of the EU, the UN, NATO, and others closer to home like my friend President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
I call on all nations around the world:
First – most importantly, make clear and loud condemnations of Hamas’ actions. Just as you condemned the abhorrent and unspeakable actions of ISIS, because today, they are one and the same.
Second – those nations that have yet to do so: Designate Hamas in its entirety as a terrorist body.
Third – make clear that Hamas carries full responsibility and accountability for the well-being of the hostages it has taken and demand their immediate return to Israel.
And fourth – support Israel. In words and in deeds.
Israel for its part will continue to defend itself. The Government of Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu, the IDF, and all the Israeli security agencies have my full support. We will act with full force and unwavering commitment to eliminate this threat to our people. We will pursue all those who perpetrate and support such grievous acts against us.
I know the Israeli spirit will overcome. Unfortunately and sadly, there are hundreds of bereaved families all around the country and thousands of injured being treated in hospitals around the country. Today and yesterday, I met some of the wounded at Asaf HaRofeh Shamir Hospital and Beersheba’s Soroka Medical Center, some of the best medical centres in the world.
If you ever want to witness the great spirit of my nation, the great spirit of the nation of Israel, you can see it in hospitals and elsewhere around the country. You will find a people united and committed to prevail, together, and come out victorious.
Let there be no mistake by any in the region who may consider operating against Israel. Israel is a very strong country and will employ all its might and strength to defend itself and its people.
I pray for the swift and full recovery of the injured, I pray for the bereaved families, and I pray for the wellbeing of those taken hostage. And through all this, with the solidarity and support of our brothers and sisters in Jewish communities all around the world, with our friends and allies all around the world, I know that Israel will emerge stronger, more resilient, and united.
