UK: Anglican cathedral hosts Grand Iftar ‘to show unity and peace’

How wonderfully generous, tolerant, ecumenical, and all that. A few questions: why are Christian services never, ever held in mosques? Why is the “outreach” only one way? Note also that “the Grand Iftar started in Bristol in 2017, shortly after the Manchester Arena bombing.” If a Christian screaming “Jesus is Lord” had committed a massacre in London, would a mosque host a Christian service “to show unity and peace”?

Also, do these Christians really think that this will change what the Qur’an teaches about Christ and Christianity?

Qur’an 98:4-6: “Nor were the people of the book divided until after the clear proof came to them. And they are not ordered to do anything else but serve Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as hanifs, and to establish prayer and to give alms. That is true religion. Indeed, the unbelievers among the people of the book and the idolaters will remain in the fire of Gehenna. They are the most vile of created beings.”

Qur’an 5:14: “And with those who say: Indeed, we are Christians, we made a covenant, but they forgot a part of what they were reminded about. Therefore we have stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the day of resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.”

Qur’an 5:17: “They indeed have disbelieved who say, Indeed, Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say, Who then can do anything against Allah, if he had been willing to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He creates what he will. And Allah is able to do all things.”

Qur’an 4:157: “And because of their saying, We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the messenger of Allah, they did not kill him nor crucify him, but it seemed so to them, and indeed, those who disagree about this are in doubt about it, they have no knowledge of it except pursuit of a supposition, they did not kill him for certain.

Qur’an 4:171: “O people of the book, do not exaggerate in your religion or say anything about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and his word that he conveyed to Mary, and a spirit from him. So believe in Allah and his messengers, and do not say Three, Stop, it is better for you. Allah is only one God. It is far removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son. Everything that is in the heavens and everything that is on the earth is his. And Allah is sufficient as defender.”

Qur’an 5:116: “And when Allah said, O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind, Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah? He said, Be glorified. It was not for me to say what I had no right to say. If I say it, then you know it. You know what is on my mind, and I do not know what is on your mind. Indeed, you, only you, are the knower of hidden things.”

Qur’an 19:35: “It is not fitting for Allah that he should take to himself a son. Glory be to him, when he decrees a thing, he says to it only, Be, and it is.”

Qur’an 9:30-31: “And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the statements of those who disbelieved before. May Allah curse them. How perverse they are. They have taken as lords besides Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah, the son of Mary, when they were called to worship only one God. There is no God except him. May he be glorified from all that they ascribe as partners.”

Qur’an 9:29: “Fight against those who do not believe in Allah or the last day, and do not forbid what Allah and his messenger have forbidden, and do not follow the religion of truth, even if they are among the people of the book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.”

“Grand Iftar Takes Place In Bristol Cathedral Nave,” by Martin Booth, Bristol 24/7, April 5, 2024:

Dozens of people gathered in the nave of Bristol Cathedral for Bristol’s annual Grand Iftar.

Following the success of the Grand Iftar on College Green in 2023, the event inside the cathedral was a special collaboration between faith communities in Bristol with the theme of hope.

The evening was organized by Muslims4Bristol in partnership with Bristol Cathedral and Bridges for Communities.

One of the Grand Iftar organizers, Mohamed El Sharif, called the event “unique and historical”.

He said in a Facebook live video: “It’s to show unity and peace and is an interfaith event. This is the first Grand Iftar inside the cathedral, a historical event to happen here with all volunteers…

The Grand Iftar started in Bristol in 2017, shortly after the Manchester Arena bombing.

It has become an opportunity to celebrate Bristol’s diversity, with non-Muslims joining the celebrations to experience the breaking of the fast.

The Grand Iftar on Thursday night was sponsored by Feeding Bristol, Black2Nature, St Peter’s Hospice, IHRM and other community partners.

In recent years, the cathedral has been the location of light shows, concerts and film screenings, as well as a charity fire walk outside.

But none of these attracted the ire of below-the-line commenters, some of whom claimed that the Grand Iftar should not have been taking place in a Christian place of worship.

Protesters outside the cathedral carrying Palestinian flags also attempted to draw attention to political involvement in the event, with one banner saying: ‘Shame on the Labour Party." When you eat well, children in Gaza are being intentionally starved to death.’…

Hamas top dog says there’s ‘no chance’ it will release Israeli hostages after Netanyahu rejects ‘peace’ deal

The deal would have left Hamas intact and able to wage jihad against Israel another day. The international Left, avid to destroy Israel, will continue to push for this.

“Hamas says there is ‘no chance’ for release of hostages after Netanyahu rejects deal,” by Yaron Steinbuch, New York Post, January 22, 2024:

The approximately 130 Israelis still being held hostage by Hamas will never be freed, a militant leader said after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday rejected the terror group’s conditions to end the war.

“In exchange for the release of our hostages, Hamas demands the end of the war, the withdrawal of our forces from Gaza, the release of all the murderers and rapists,” Netanyahu stated in a video address.

“And leaving Hamas intact. I reject outright the terms of surrender of the monsters of Hamas,” he added.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, countered by saying Netanyahu’s refusal to end the military offensive in the territory “means there is no chance for the return of the [Israeli] captives” who were abducted in the group’s Oct. 7 terror attack.

Under a deal brokered by the US, Qatar and Egypt in late November, more than 100 of the estimated 240 hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7 were freed in exchange for the release of 240 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

Netanyahu has faced increasing pressure to secure the release the 136 hostages who remain in Gaza.

Relatives of the hostages demanded action during a protest outside his residence late Sunday.

“We need the government to now fix the problem that they have created and get these hostages home immediately,” said Jon Polin, father of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, according to Reuters….

The ‘Rabbi’ and ‘Peace Activist’ Who Cheered the Hamas Oct. 7 Attack

“When I heard the initial reports of Hamas’ attacks on Israel this past Saturday... my first reaction was ‘Good for them.'”

[SPECIAL JANUARY PROMOTION: Spend $50+ In The FPM Store And Receive A Free Copy Of “Final Battle” By David Horowitz.]

When pro-Hamas insurrectionists stormed Capitol Hill, Brant Rosen, described as “one of the demonstrators”, was quoted as falsely accusing Jews of genocide. He was later arrested.

In Chicago, where he claims to have co-founded the “first anti-Zionist temple”, he showed up at a rally urging, “stop the violence, and then, to work toward a true and lasting and just peace.”

‘Rabbi’ Brant Rosen, a co-founder of the pro-terrorist JVP Rabbinical Council (the misleadingly named Jewish Voice for Peace is neither Jewish nor peaceful) is a public face of the political campaign against Israel disguised as calls for “peace” and a “ceasefire”. The media describes him as a “rabbi” and as a “peace activist”. Much like JVP, he’s as much of one as the other.

Rosen actually became a regional director for the American Friends Service Committee, a radical anti-American and anti-Israel Quaker group, after being pushed out of his synagogue for his hatred of the Jewish State and support for Islamic terrorists. In its 5-year tribute to him, AFSC did not use the ‘rabbi’ title. While at the AFSC, he claimed to have opened the “first anti-Zionist temple”. In reality, the “temple” appears to be a PO Box opposite a Little Caesars.

Whether the “temple” exists is unclear, but Brant Rosen’s hatred for Jews is all too real.

“When I heard the initial reports of Hamas’ attacks on Israel this past Saturday, I will be completely honest – my first reaction was ‘good for them,’” Brant Rosen wrote in response to the Hamas attacks of October 7.

When Hamas terrorists burst into homes in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, massacring families and livestreaming the horrors on Facebook, Brant Rosen described it as “not the first time this community had experienced Palestinian armed resistance”.

This is Brant Rosen and the Jewish Voice for Peace’s idea of “Palestinian armed resistance”.

“A father huddles over a mortally injured girl lying in a pool of blood as his wife wails.”

In his column, published at the People’s Voice (formerly the Communist Party’s Daily Worker), he claimed that “this latest violence did not occur in a vacuum. It is but the latest manifestation of an injustice that Israel has been perpetrating against the Palestinian people for decades.”

Later in October, Brant Rosen argued that, “Hamas’ abduction of hostages – brutal and heinous as it was – occurred in response to a colonial, apartheid regime that (sic) been governing their lives for the past 75 years.”

Brant Rosen gets a great deal of mileage for his activism by claiming to be a “rabbi”. In reality, he was “ordained” by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College: an atheistic movement which believes neither in the Bible nor the G-d of the Bible, or in any actual form of Judaism. He speaks most convincingly about faith when discussing his love of Quaker spiritual teachings.

When he announced that he had founded the “first anti-Zionist temple”, the story popped up everywhere, including at the JTA: always eager to provide a platform for anti-Israel activists.

But the only address for Tzedek Chicago, the tattooed clergyman’s “anti-Zionist temple”, is a Chicago post office box seven miles from Rosen’s house and opposite a Little Caesars pizza place. The weekly “services” are happening in closed Zoom sessions.

The launch meeting for Tzedek Chicago was held in the basement of a Lutheran Church of the kind whose staff all list their pronouns. And he has described himself as “a Jew who also finds a comfortable spiritual home in the Quaker community” who testified that “my spiritual life has greatly benefitted from my encounter with Quaker thought and practice.”

The American Friends Service Committee had developed extensive Communist ties early in the last century and went to work covering up the worst horrors of these regimes. It even defended the Khmer Rogue genocide, claiming that the United States was spreading lies to undermine an “alternative model of development and social organization.”

After the fall of the Communist regimes, the AFSC turned to Islamic terrorism: its people met with  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and traveled to Iran. The AFSC defended the Hamas fundraisers of the Holy Land Foundation and ran a piece arguing for “Decriminalizing Hamas” urging that the Islamic terror group be removed from the list of terrorist organizations.

“When the Palestinians chose Hamas as their ruling party, by and large, they were choosing another alternative,” another AFSC article argued. “In this instance, they were mistaken in thinking that the world would respect their choice.”

Rosen claims that by opposing Israel he’s advocating for Jewish values, the actual values he’s advocating for are those of a Quaker group that partners with Hamas’ backers in Iran.

He established the “Jewish Fast for Gaza” back in 2009 a few years after Hamas took over.

Brant’s purpose in fasting was, among other things, “to call upon Israel, the US, and the international community to engage in negotiations with Hamas.”

By 2012, Brant Rosen had become so extreme that he was actually attacking Hussein Ibish, a leading anti-Israel Arab figure, for writing too harshly about Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal.

“It was only the armed resistance of Hamas in Gaza that managed to bring Hilary Clinton to the region and actively engage with the Israelis and Palestinians,” Brant Rosen argued.

“Meshaal’s opening went utterly unregarded by the Obama administration, who refused to deal with Hamas and chose to maintain its support of Israel’s crippling siege of Gaza.”

After the Hamas kidnapping and murder of three Jewish teens in 2014, Brant Rosen complained that Israel “knew full well that the teens had been murdered shortly after their abduction” and was “using the pretense of their kidnapping to brutally crack down on Hamas members.”

“If Israel was truly interested in following the course of justice in order to preserve life, it could have dropped its abject refusal to deal with Hamas following the November 2012 cease-fire and pursued further negotiations aimed at ending its crushing siege,” he went on to argue.

That same year, Brant Rosen left the synagogue he used to work at after his “views, work, and words on the Israel/Palestine issue caused deep rifts among the members” and got a job with the Quakers working against Israel and learning from the teachings that had praised Pol Pot.

The “close collaboration” between the American Friends Service Committee and JVP is such that some critics have questioned whether JVP isn’t just a Jewish suit that AFSC wears. Lynn Gottlieb, another member of JVP’s Rabbinical Council, used to head AFSC’s Middle East Program. May Ye, a current member, had ties to AFSC when she was a “musician”.

It’s unclear to what extent Tzedek Chicago exists off Zoom, but as a ‘church’ it doesn’t have to file 990 forms or reveal its financials. And there’s no way to know what the anti-Israel group could be hiding behind its “temple”. But Tzedek Chicago has the advantage of also advancing the “rabbinic” credentials of random anti-Israel activists.

May Ye, a Chinese-American activist from Maine who claimed that she “became a rabbi to be a Jewish voice for Palestinian liberation”, who was quoted in stories about the pro-Hamas assault on New York’s Grand Central Station over the Sabbath, had worked as a “rabbinic intern” at Tzedek Chicago before branching out as a “radical rabbi” with a focus on destroying the Jewish State.

What does it mean to be a “rabbinic intern” in a P.O. Box opposite a Little Caesars?

The media is too busy promoting collaborators like Brant Rosen to ask such basic questions.

And while Brant compares Israel’s Jews to the Nazis, his wife Hallie Esbin Rosen, who worked for the ADL for 15 years and used to work for the Illinois Holocaust Museum, has taken part in Brant’s anti-Israel rallies.

But Brant Rosen, like many other activists, would not exist if the media did not prop him up. And that is especially true of the JTA which has published multiple articles promoting a “rabbi” and his PO Box congregation whose main claim to fame is supporting terrorists and hating Israel.

The JTA ran 9 articles promoting Brant Rosen over the years. It ran two articles alone about his new “temple”. The average synagogue would never get such publicity. Stories about Rosen then popped up in every Jewish local paper in America reprinting the JTA’s publicity for Rosen.

Rosen, JVP, If Not Now, and other hate groups and terrorist collaborators have been blown up into public figures by the JTA and supportive media without revealing what they really believe.

Brant Rosen’s first reaction to Oct 7 was, “when I heard the initial reports of Hamas’ attacks on Israel this past Saturday, I will be completely honest – my first reaction was ‘good for them.”

That is the story about the Quaker Rabbi of the PO Box Anti-Zionist Temple the media won’t tell.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren Demands Israel Negotiate ‘Peace’ With Hamas

“Stop bombing Gaza. Resume the cease-fire. Work toward a permanent peace.”

Unlike Obama, the leftist alternatives to him were always constructs, as much invented by the Left as of the Left.

Sen. Bernie Sanders was a more conventional old-school Marxist until he suddenly became famous and his base forced him to pay homage to identity politics, endorse open borders (both things he used to oppose) and hold AOC’s purse.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren fancied herself an old-school liberal socialist wonk after being a Republican and libertarian for a while. One way to measure how far she’s come is to look at her back in 2014 when she was just exploring the possibility of taking on Hillary.

Warren said Hamas has attacked Israel “indiscriminately,” but with the Iron Dome defense system, the missiles have “not had the terrorist effect Hamas hoped for.” When pressed by another member of the crowd about civilian casualties from Israel’s attacks, Warren said she believes those casualties are the “last thing Israel wants.”

“But when Hamas puts its rocket launchers next to hospitals, next to schools, they’re using their civilian population to protect their military assets. And I believe Israel has a right, at that point, to defend itself,” Warren said, drawing applause.

Fast forward to 2023, and Warren is complaining that Facebook is censoring Hamas supporters, and just tweeted that…

“Netanyahu & his right-wing war cabinet have created a humanitarian catastrophe, killing thousands of Palestinian civilians. Israel needs leadership that will bring the hostages home, not wage months of war. Stop bombing Gaza. Resume the cease-fire. Work toward a permanent peace.”

Bernie Sanders has said similar things, but he’s refused (thus far) pressure from the Left to call for a “ceasefire”. Why?

“Lastly, Hamas has been very clear, both before its barbaric attack on October 7th and after that attack, that their goal is perpetual warfare and the destruction of Israel. Just last week a spokesman for Hamas, Mr. Taher El-Nounou, told the New York Times, “I hope that the state of war with Israel will become permanent on all the borders, and that the Arab world will stand with us.” I am not quite sure how you negotiate a ceasefire with a terrorist organization that is dedicated to perpetual war.”

Sanders has become more vocally anti-Israel throughout the months after Oct 7, and has called for no military support for Israel, but so far he hasn’t endorsed the big lie of a ceasefire in which Hamas gets to attack Israel while the Jews don’t get to fight back.

Warren has.

Sen. Warren has called for a “ceasefire”. There was one in play before Oct 7. And during the humanitarian truce that she endorsed so loudly, Hamas carried out a terrorist attack that killed a pregnant woman, a school worker and an elderly Rabbi.

Not only doesn’t Sen. Warren care, but she’s urging “work toward a permanent peace.” With whom? Hamas.

Muslim mayors of Dearborn and Hamtramck, Michigan says there can be no peace with Israel

Imagine not being sickened by the atrocities Hamas committed, and continuing to side with them. This is because the Qur’an states: “Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are ruthless to unbelievers, merciful to one another.”

“Mayor of America’s First Muslim Majority City Council Declares ‘No Peace’ With Israel,” by Jack Montgomery, National Pulse, October 11, 2023:

The Mayor of Hamtramck – America’s first Muslim-majority city council – Amer Ghalib, responded to the past week’s events in the Middle East with a pro-Hamas message insisting: “Peace can never coexist with occupation and injustice, anywhere and at any time ، no matter how strong the oppressor or how weak the oppressed is!”…

There are similar issues elsewhere in Michigan, with Dearborn’s Mayor Abdullah Hammoud responding to the Hamas attack with a long social media post suggesting the mass murder of Israeli civilians was the “inevitable” consequence of the “occupation”.

The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem Issue Plea for Prayer, Peace, and an End to Violence Against Civilians

The winds of war are once again blowing across the home of the Prince of Peace. Many years ago, a priest friend advised me if you put off going to the Holy Land until there is a peaceful period with no trouble, you will never go. Historians may document a period of peace in the world around the time of the birth of Christ, but since then, there has almost always been a war somewhere — often in the very region of the world Christ called home.

While the protagonists of the Jewish and Islamic sides of this conflict argue, the survival of the Christian presence in the cradle of Christianity is often ignored. Wars have consequences. Some estimate that half of the Christians in Iraq and Syria have fled the region since the Second Gulf War and the Syrian civil war.

There are about 180,000 Christians in Israel. Seventy percent are Arabs or Palestinians, the largest group living in Jesus’s hometown of Nazareth.  As a small minority within a minority, Christians require peace and stability for their survival. This latest war will do little to enhance that.

The so-called “Status Quo” is the unwritten rule in Israel under which religious groups don’t rock the boat at holy sites under the protection of different religious groups. You may visit, but not hold religious services without an agreement. Even the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which encompasses Calvary and the Tomb of Christ, is managed by a consortium. The key to the church is traditionally in the possession of a Muslim Arab family to avoid disputes among the Christians.

That peace has been unraveling lately at the nearby Temple Mount, also called the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is claimed by both Muslims and Jews and is just one front on a broad sectarian conflict that has now turned violent. To this end, the Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches of Jerusalem, have issued a joint call for peace and prayer:

The Holy Land, a place sacred to countless millions around the world, is currently mired in violence and suffering due to the prolonged political conflict and the lamentable absence of justice and respect for human rights. We, the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, have time and again appealed for the importance of respecting the historic and legal Status Quo of the holy shrines. In these trying times, we come together to raise our voices in unity, echoing the divine message of peace and love for all humanity.

As custodians of the Christian faith, deeply rooted in the Holy Land, we stand in solidarity with the people of this region, who are enduring the devastating consequences of continued strife.

Our faith, which is founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ, compels us to advocate for the cessation of all violent and military activities that bring harm to both Palestinian and Israeli civilians.

We unequivocally condemn any acts that target civilians, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or faith. Such actions go against the fundamental principles of humanity and the teachings of Christ, who implored us to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31).

It is our fervent hope and prayer that all parties involved will heed this call for an immediate cessation of violence. We implore political leaders and authorities to engage in sincere dialogue, seeking lasting solutions that promote justice, peace, and reconciliation for the people of this land, who have endured the burdens of conflict for far too long.

[…]

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all during these challenging times.

—The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, said yesterday, “The cycle of violence that has killed numerous Palestinians and Israelis in the past months has exploded…The operation launched from Gaza, and the reaction of the Israeli Army are bringing us back to the worst periods of our recent history. The too many causalities and tragedies, which both Palestinians and Israeli families have to deal with, will create more hatred and division and will destroy and any perspective of stability.… We ask God to inspire world leaders in their intervention for the implementation of peace and concord so that Jerusalem may be a house of prayer for all peoples.”

Fifty years ago, almost to the day, on Oct. 6, 1973, Israel was attacked on the holy day of Yom Kippur. I remember being a child attending services and the Rabbi stopping the liturgy to tell us what had happened and to pray for Israel. On Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has again been attacked, this time on the holiday of Shemini Atzeret. Once again, our people and nation have been attacked on a holy day. All reservists have been called up, and Israel is again fighting for her life.

Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli communities through the Gaza Strip and launched a surprise attack in conjunction with over 5,000 rockets fired into Israel. Horrific videos of terror are filling the internet. One clip from Gaza shows a lifeless Israeli soldier being trampled by an angry crowd. Hamas asks that all Arab nations attack Israel immediately to “set the earth on fire.” The Hamas commander, Mohammed Deif, specifically asked all terror groups in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq — all of which are funded through Iran — to join in a war against Israel. Israeli civilians are being specifically attacked, slaughtered, and kidnapped as hostages. We see video after video demonstrating that the Hamas terrorists act in ways that are beyond comprehension by any human being. Rather, they act like sick, rabid animals or zombies who have lost any sense of humanity.

But let’s all be honest: They have acted like this for decades. Hamas and its allies, all of which are funded by and through Iran, have behaved this way over and over as they have prayed for the destruction of both Israel and the United States. They have celebrated violence at every opportunity and demonstrated repeatedly that they would like to do exactly what they have been doing: kill Israelis and Americans, desecrate their corpses, and perform horrors that are unimaginable to any sane human being.

So here’s a question: Given Iran’s repeated hatred for everything Israeli and American, and given that they have constantly and consistently expressed their desires to destroy both nations, how could Joseph Biden and his regime support this evil and give over $6 billion to Iran, the admitted financier of Hamas as well as terrorists in Syria, Lebanon, and the entire region? Forgetting for a moment about all the other anti-American acts done by Biden during his tenure, isn’t sending money to self-proclaimed enemies of America and Israel the definition of treason to the United States?

With God’s help, we will have time to analyze why Israel was unprepared for this attack. Now is the time to support the only democracy in the region in every way, from money to arms to prayers. We will have time to investigate the relationship between the $6 billion gift from Biden to Iran and how it directly funded these horrors in Israel. History will judge Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and their cronies justly when it is realized that the horrors we are seeing are a direct result of the Democratic Party’s actions of supporting Iran.

For most of my life, I voted with the Democratic Party.  But for years now, I have said that any Jew voting for the Democratic Party is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders. Even those who refused to recognize this previously can now see how true this statement is, not just for Jews but for all Americans.

Biden and his supporters have fortified an enemy of the United States, and we are seeing the manifestation of true evil as a result. At this point, there is no realistic option but to realize that the president of the United States is, in fact, more committed to strengthening our enemies than to supporting our allies. For any American to still support Biden, Blinken, et al. is to be blind to the reality that they and their party are actively working to destroy Israel and America.

Related: What Went Wrong? How Hamas Managed to Stagger Israel

There will be time for an analysis of how this horrific war was permitted to start and the direct role the Democrats had in the process. But there are two things that we must each do to preserve the only democracy in the Middle East and to protect the United States. First, every American must immediately stop all support of the Democratic Party in its entirety until the party has once again become a political party that is committed to the United States and its allies. If we don’t want to see the horrors that are happening in Israel occur here in the United States, God forbid, we must entirely reject the Democratic Party and its candidates until it ostracizes its internal fanatics like Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, etc. As long as the Democratic Party is controlled by these fanatics—who hate America and her allies while supporting groups like Hamas that commit such heinous acts as we see going on in Israel right now—there is no hope for the Democrats or for peace.

And we must pray. We must all pray for our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael, that they remain safe and protected and that they quickly triumph over these terrorists who worship death, destruction, and hate. The United States was built on the foundation of being a nation supported by God, and we need to develop our personal relationships with God through prayer and entreat God that this evil we see manifest among Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and their allies is quickly, efficiently, and permanently destroyed. We must pray for peace and safety for all who support respect, healing, and peace in the world.

I ask that you join me in your hearts, souls, and voices:

Ribbono Shel Olam, Master of the Universe; Shema Koleinu, Hear our voices. Keep the men and women in the IDF safe and protected as they defend our people and our nation. Protect the civilians of Israel, and lead our people to a speedy and safe victory over those who seek to destroy us and have attacked us on the Holy Day of Shemini Atzeret. Keep our people safe, and let your healing light keep our bodies and souls strong and whole. Bring healing to the bodies of our brothers and sisters in the IDF and healing to the hearts of these Arab terrorists so that they put down their weapons and totally cease their hate for us. Please, God, please, bring peace and healing swiftly to the Jewish people so that we may worship and live safely in the land you gave to us through our forefathers. May You, the One who makes peace in the Universe, make peace upon us and upon all Israel. And together, let us say, Amen.
