Biden Will Introduce $2 Trillion Stimulus Bill With $2,000 Individual Checks

Aides to President-elect Biden say that he will propose another massive pandemic relief bill costing $2 trillion dollars. It will include $2,000 individual checks for taxpayers.

Biden will outline more of the plan later on Thursday, but Senate Democrats are also talking seriously about merging pandemic relief with a completely unrelated infrastructure bill. It’s likely the total cost for both measures together will exceed $3 trillion.

Moreover, Democrats are discussing ways to use budget reconciliation to pass most of their legislation. This would mean the filibuster would be off the table and legislation could pass by a simple majority.

The Biden team is taking a “shoot for the moon” approach with the package, one lawmaker in close contact with them told CNN, though they added that the price tag could still change. The proposal will include sizable direct payments to American families, significant state and local funding — including for coronavirus vaccine distribution and other emergency spending measures — to help those struggling during the pandemic.

Biden is set to announce the details of his plan in Wilmington, Delaware, Thursday evening.

Democrats hold only the slimmest of majorities in the House and the Senate, and Republicans have recently resisted efforts to pass Covid-19 relief on a multi-trillion dollar scale. But Biden’s party believes it may have only a brief window to pass sweeping relief legislation and the President-elect has faced significant pressure from some Democrats to go big.

Also on the table will be more extra unemployment payments and aid to state and local governments that are suffering budget shortfalls because of the pandemic. Some of that cash is likely to go into fixing state pension systems, run into the ground by Democratic governors and their public union allies.

There will be money for vaccine distribution, schools, and other health care concerns, but it’s also likely that the individual checks to taxpayers will be a standalone bill passed very shortly after Biden is sworn in.

CNN:

Current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell rejected a standalone bill on increasing the value of the checks, but with Democrats about to take control of the chamber — and of Congress — following victories in two Georgia Senate runoff elections, Biden will likely have the votes to approve increased relief spending.

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer of New York has said that one of the first bills he’d like to pass once he becomes Senate majority leader would raise stimulus payments to $2,000.

With unemployment claims skyrocketing, Congress is likely to act swiftly before the economy tumbles into another recession.

Last Thursday, one day after the deadly siege on the U.S. Capitol, Franklin Graham had a message for Americans.

"“The division in our country is as great as any time since the Civil War,” he tweeted. “I am calling on Christians to unite our hearts together in prayer for President-elect @JoeBiden and Vice President-elect @KamalaHarris, and for the leadership in both parties.”

It was the kind of statement this country needs to hear, a call for reconciliation that you’d expect from a faith leader. Except just two weeks before, this leader’s arms were folded, not open. “Many people believe the presidential election was stolen from @realDonaldTrump,” Graham tweeted on December 28, “and if conservatives lose control of the Senate, there is nothing to stop the radical agenda of the left.”

Earlier in December, Graham echoed the same election lies that fueled the Capitol invaders. “When he says this election was rigged or stolen,” Graham said of the president, “I tend to believe him.”

The Capitol Riot is the Left’s Reichstag Fire

No one can point to any statement from President Trump calling upon his supporters to storm the Capitol, much less to stage a coup against the U.S. government, but it doesn’t matter anymore. The establishment media and the social media giants are insisting that he incited the attack on the Capitol and was trying to install himself as a dictator by means of a guy with a buffalo horn hat and some other dopes and wingnuts, and if you don’t believe it, you’re a racist, bigoted, MAGA-hat-wearing fascist who deserves to be silenced along with the president, and soon will be. But it’s clear who the real fascists are, and they are exploiting their Reichstag Fire moment to the fullest.

On February 27, 1933, four weeks after Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany, the Reichstag, the German parliament building in Berlin, caught fire. The culprit was a Dutch Communist, Marinus van der Lubbe, who apparently had acted alone. Hitler, however, insisted that the Communist Party, which was a considerable force within the Reichstag, had set the fire, and pressed German President Paul von Hindenburg to approve of an emergency law suspending civil liberties. Communist leaders, including the Communist members of the Reichstag, were hunted down and arrested.

Without their presence in the Reichstag, the National Socialists and their coalition partners had a majority. That enabled the Nazis to pass a further law, the Enabling Act, on March 23, 1933, giving Hitler dictatorial powers and removing any obstacle to his absolute supremacy.

While some people have always maintained that the whole thing was a false flag, most historians believe than van der Lubbe really did set the fire. Nonetheless, the advantages it gave to the Nazis were clear, and so it was no surprise when, at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II ended, German General Franz Halder declared that he had heard one of the most prominent and influential Nazis, Hermann Göring, boast that he himself had set the fire.  When confronted with Halder’s statement, Göring denied having had anything to do with the fire, but there is no doubt that its chief beneficiary was Germany’s new National Socialist regime. The Reichstag fire enabled the National Socialists to declare their political opponents enemies of the state and accordingly silence them and outlaw their activity, and opened the door to World War II and the Holocaust.

The All-Out Assault on Conservative Thought Has Just Begun

The parallels to what is happening today are obvious. In the wake of the January 6 riot at the Capitol, the Democrats are trying to criminalize opposition to their program, painting all support of President Trump and his America-First program as incitement to violence and tantamount to sedition. He has been shut out of the major social media networks that exercise near-total control over the means of communication today. And as Trump himself has pointed out repeatedly, for all the demonic frenzy of their desire to destroy him utterly, he is really not the target. We are.

The National Socialists used the Reichstag fire to destroy all political opposition in Germany and assert total control over the lives of every German citizen. They used it to give themselves official, pseudo-legal permission to break every moral law and ethical code ever known to mankind, and ultimately to murder tens of millions of people, including six million Jews (the particular target of their hatred), and lay waste to the entire European continent.

The American Left of today has followed the Nazis’ Reichstag Fire playbook to a T thus far. What is to prevent them from attempting to implement the whole thing? The one thing saving us from woke totalitarianism at this point may be the fact that the sinister authoritarians of the Democratic Party, the social media corporations, and the establishment media may already have overreached. America in 2020, even after fifty years of woke indoctrination in our schools, is not like Germany of 1933. We have a strong tradition of freedom, notably the freedom of speech. In attempting to impose their totalitarian woke straitjacket upon the American people, the Left is going to encounter considerably more opposition than the Nazis did in Germany, where the Weimar Republic was the nation’s first attempt at representative government and never enjoyed great support among the people.

These are indeed, however, as Tom Paine said so long ago, the times that try men’s souls. The way forward is unclear. The avenues that are even available to us to continue to dissent from the Left are being systematically closed down – witness the fact that after banning Trump, the social media giants began to make war on their much smaller competitor, Parler.

The Left is reveling in its Reichstag Fire moment. This is their hour and the power of darkness. But the light of freedom still burns in so many American’s hearts that it is safe to say: this isn’t over.

The Hill’s Morning Report: Trump finally concedes; 25th Amendment pressure grows

Fallout from the breach of the Capitol by rioters continued on Thursday amid calls for the Cabinet and Vice President Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump as unfit to carry out his duties. 

Under intense bipartisan pressure Thursday, the president acknowledged his defeat in the 2020 election one day after vowing he would continue to contest the results. In a nearly three-minute video taped at the White House, Trump decried the mob he had encouraged, which swarmed the Capitol on Wednesday as Congress confirmed President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory. 

“We have just been through an intense election and emotions are high. But now tempers must be cooled and calm restored,” Trump said. “A new administration will be inaugurated on Jan. 20. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth orderly and seamless transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation.” 

The president’s sudden conciliatory outreach took place following a persuasion effort through Ivanka Trump, steered by White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and counsel Pat Cipollone, according to multiple outlets. It took place as at least 200 House lawmakers advocated expelling Trump from office (NBC News). 

Early on Thursday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) advocated his removal, saying Trump’s final days in office posed a danger to the nation. 

“This is an urgency of the highest magnitude,” Pelosi said. “While there are only 13 days left, any day can be a horror show for America” (The Hill).

Invoking the 25th Amendment, however, has been dismissed by Pence and ignored by the Cabinet, both necessary under the Constitution to proceed. According to The New York Times and Business Insider, the vice president opposes the idea of moving to declare Trump unfit to serve, despite his concerns about events he witnessed on Wednesday.  

Biden on Thursday said in a statement through an aide that any invocation of the 25th Amendment would be up to the vice president and the Cabinet, not him. He avoided questions about impeaching Trump a second time (The Associated Press). 

Most lawmakers approach discussions about removing Trump as a form of public censure rather than as a viable procedural option as Biden’s inauguration draws near. 

Despite the president’s sudden embrace of “healing,” he is contemplating travel next week to the southwestern border to tout his controversial immigration policies, according to The New York Times. He’s also mulling the idea of a media exit interview. The president and his family have discussed departing the White House on Jan. 19, the Times reports, and sources tell Politico that Trump favors the idea of being able to use Air Force One, which is possible only while he’s president, to make his exit from Washington. Where he will go is unclear; a South Florida party or rally among friends and supporters is a possible destination, according to reports.

The Hill: Former White House chief of staff John Kelly says Trump Cabinet should discuss the 25th Amendment. 

Two House Republicans on Thursday offered their support for a procedure to remove Trump. Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger became the first, with Rep. Steve Stivers (Ohio) adding he would “not be opposed.” 

Sens. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the two foremost objectors to the Electoral College count on Wednesday, joined Trump in feeling the wrath of some of their peers. 

Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), a top Biden ally, called on Hawley and Cruz to resign. Book publisher Simon & Schuster announced it canceled the publication of a pending book by Hawley about Big Tech, withdrawing publication “after his role in what became a dangerous threat to our democracy and freedom.”

Hawley fired back in a statement, calling the company’s decision a “direct assault on the First Amendment” (The Hill). 

The Kansas City Star: “The biggest mistake I’ve ever made,” said former Sen. John Danforth (R-Mo.), who promoted Hawley at the outset of his political career. 

The Hill: Donor who gave millions to Hawley urges Senate to censure him for “irresponsible” behavior.

Governors weigh in: Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R), who has not discounted making a future bid for the White House, said he supports Trump’s removal from office or his resignation (The Hill). … Republican Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts echoed that position, calling on the president to “step down” in response to his behavior and the mob violence seen in Washington (The Hill). … North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D), who repeatedly clashed with Trump last year as the pandemic worsened, tweeted, “This president has betrayed our country and is therefore unfit to lead it. He should resign or be removed from office.”  

> Trump & Republican lawmakers: The Hill’s Alexander Bolton reports that GOP senators say they feel a sense of growing regret over not standing up to the president sooner in retrospect following Wednesday’s attack. One Republican senator who requested anonymity to discuss his conversations with GOP colleagues acknowledged GOP lawmakers should have served as a stronger check on the president over the past four years. 

“We should have done more to push back, both against his rhetoric and some of the things he did legislatively,” said the lawmaker. “The mistake we made is that we always thought he was going to get better. We thought that once he got the nomination, and then once he got a Cabinet he was going to get better, he was going to be more presidential.” 

> The president’s party: National Republicans interviewed by The Hill say Trump may have permanently alienated millions of center-right voters who were disgusted by Wednesday’s ugly scene in Washington. But they acknowledged that the president retains enormous political power for the time being, despite bipartisan calls that he resign or be ousted from the Oval Office immediately (The Hill). 

> Legal jeopardy: The New York Times, Michael S. Schmidt and Maggie Haberman: Trump in recent weeks is said to have discussed with aides the prospect of pardoning himself. The president has long maintained he has such power and his polling of aides’ views is typically a sign he is poised to act. Trump has expressed concern that he will be a target of law enforcement after leaving office.

"His legal risks increase immeasurably come Jan. 21, both on the civil and the criminal side," Danya Perry, a former state and federal prosecutor in New York, told NPR in November.

LEADING THE DAY

REPERCUSSIONS: Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos resigned on Thursday in reaction to Wednesday’s tumultuous events in Washington (The Associated Press). … U.S. Special Envoy to Northern Ireland Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s former White House chief of staff, resigned (CNBC) . … Ryan Tully, senior director for European and Russian Affairs at the White House, also quit (Bloomberg News), as did Tyler Goodspeed, the acting chairman of Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers, and Mark Vandroff, senior director for defense policy at the National Security Council (The New York Times and Defense News).

At least nine senior administration officials have announced their resignations (The Associated Press). At the same time, lawmakers and others are urging administration personnel to remain in place to help ensure an orderly transition.  

“No matter what course of action is taken against President Trump in 13 days, Joe Biden will be sworn in as President of the United States. Until then, I urge the good men and women honorably serving at all levels of the federal government to please stay at their post for the protection of our democracy,” West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, a Democrat who represents a red state, said in a statement. “The actions of a rogue president will not and should not reflect on you. Instead, your patriotism and commitment to the greater good of our country will be reaffirmed.”

Politico: Former White House communications director Alysa Farah: “I stepped down because I saw where this was heading.”

> Capitol security: Hours after Pelosi on Thursday called for the resignation of U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, he submitted his resignation with barely seven months on the job (The Hill). Pelosi also announced the resignation of the House sergeant-at-arms after the shocking breach of the Capitol by rioters. 

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), the top House appropriator charged with funding the Capitol Police, joined the Speaker on Thursday in promising an investigation or review of security planning and police responses, including the fatal shooting by an officer of a 35-year-old woman inside the Capitol. "There were some strategic mistakes from the very beginning," Ryan said (The Hill and Politico).  

The Hill: Bipartisan anger builds over police failure at the Capitol.

The Hill: Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick collapsed after being injured while confronting rioters on Wednesday and died on Thursday night. He became the fourth fatality tied to the Capitol clashes. 

During a news conference, Pelosi said her focus remains on what she called the “danger” Trump and his supporters pose between now and the administration of the oaths of office to Biden and Kamala Harris as vice president.  

"If there's anything learned about [Wednesday's violence], is that we have to be very, very careful. Because these people and their leader, Donald Trump, do not care about the security of people, they don't care about our democracy, they don't care about the peaceful transfer of power," she said (The Hill). 

The Associated Press reported that the Capitol Police turned down two offers of federal help — one from the Pentagon three days before Wednesday’s mayhem and another from the Justice Department on Wednesday with an offer of FBI assistance. The Capitol Police planned in advance only for a free speech demonstration, despite detailed news accounts (see The Washington Post) about extremist, pro-Trump groups that intended to rally in Washington to oppose Biden’s victory, with excitement about Trump’s invitation on Twitter: “Be there, will be wild!” (The New York Times). 

Earlier in the day, Sund, a former D.C. police officer, defended his team’s response. The assault on the Capitol was “unlike any I have ever experienced in my 30 years in law enforcement here in Washington, D.C.,″ he said. ”Make no mistake: these mass riots were not First Amendment activities; they were criminal riotous behavior. The actions of the USCP officers were heroic given the situation they faced″ (The Associated Press).

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) on Thursday added to the day’s criticism. “Obviously it was a failure or you would not have had people enter the Capitol by breaking windows and terrorizing the members of Congress who were doing a very sacred requirement of their jobs,″ she said.

> Megaphones: In one of the most consequential reactions to Wednesday’s violence and Trump’s incendiary rhetoric, Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday initially took steps to temporarily suspend Trump’s accounts, despite howls of protest from the president’s base (The  Washington Post). A day later, Facebook and Instagram (owned by Facebook), extended the suspension indefinitely — at least through the remainder of Trump’s presidency (The Washington Post).  

Twitter, for years a powerful Trump megaphone, ended a 12-hour suspension of the president’s account on Thursday, noting that the platform might take further action while it tracks “activity on the ground and statements made off Twitter” (The Associated Press). The president had immediately deleted some of his tweets in an effort to release Twitter’s suspension (Fox News).  

The social media behemoths have spent much of Trump’s term tiptoeing around objections that the president uses the platforms to spread false information and drive news media coverage while also employing divisive, bullying language akin to hate speech to assail people who do not have equivalent social media clout to fight back. Facebook and Twitter are under intense regulatory and congressional scrutiny as Democrats prepare to control both the executive and legislative branches this month.

Is the president’s window narrowing?

Although many of President Trump’s supporters hope Vice President Mike Pence will deliver the commander-in-chief a hail mary win by rejecting electoral results from states where major voter fraud occurred, a report claims that Pence told the president he doesn’t believe he has the power to do so.

A source told The New York Times (which has earned a reputation as an anti-Trump publication) that Pence said in a conversation with President Trump that he “did not believe he had the power to block congressional certification of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory in the presidential election.”

The comment was reportedly made on Tuesday, just one day before Congress is set to certify the 50 states’ slates of electors — slates that would hand the White House over to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The Times reported that the vice president is trying to play a delicate balancing act between his views on the matter and President Trump’s expectation that he will reject the electors:

Even as he sought to make clear that he does not have the power Mr. Trump seems to think he has, Mr. Pence also indicated to the president that he would keep studying the issue up until the final hours before the joint session of Congress begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the people briefed on their conversation.

One option being considered, according to a person close to Mr. Trump, was having Mr. Pence acknowledge the president’s claims about election fraud in some form during one or more of the Senate debates about the results from particular states before the certification. Mr. Pence will preside over those debates.

The conversation between president and vice president reportedly came after President Trump tweeted on Tuesday morning that Pence can reject electors.

Yet in a statement published later on Tuesday, President Trump denied that such a conversation took place, calling reports about the exchange “fake news.”

“He never said that,” the statement read. “The Vice President and I are in total agreement that the Vice President has the power to act.”

If Pence were unable to carry out his duties during the counting of the electoral votes on Wednesday, that responsibility would fall on Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) as President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

Some confusion took place Tuesday morning when Senator Grassley was quoted saying that he would be the one presiding over the certification, and not Vice President Pence, because “we don’t expect him to be there.”

Aides for Senator Grassley later said he was suggesting a hypothetical, should Pence step out for a break sometime during the session.

Jay Sekulow, one of the president’s personal lawyers, appeared to shoot down the possibility of Pence reversing the present election outcome as he spoke on a radio program Tuesday.

“Some have speculated that the vice president could simply say, ‘I’m not going to accept these electors,’ that he has the authority to do that under the Constitution. I actually don’t think that’s what the Constitution has in mind,” Sekulow said.

“If that’s the case, any vice president could refuse any election,” he added. “It’s more of a ministerial procedural function.”

It’s expected that there will be debate regarding the electors. It only takes one member of each chamber of Congress to initiate a debate, and Representative Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) signaled that he will do so in the lower chamber; Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) will join him in the Senate. 

On Wednesday morning, Representative Brooks spoke to a large crowd of Trump supporters near the White House.

“We’re going to stop them,” Brooks said. “We have definitely had some setbacks with what happened in November. We had some setbacks with what happened last night in Georgia [a reference to the projected losses of both Republicans in the Senate runoff, which will give Democrats control of the chamber].

“But we are not going to let the socialists rip the heart out of our country. We are not going to let them continue to corrupt our elections and steal from us our God-given right to control our nation’s destiny.”

Millions of Americans are behind President Trump and allies such as Mo Brooks. But with a Democrat majority in the House of Representatives and most Republicans in the Senate signaling they will not object to the electoral count, the president’s chances appear slim.

No matter what happens, the battle for our Republic is far from over. There are many ways in which we can, and must, continue to fight back.

Georgia election data indicates at least 30,000 votes were removed from President Donald Trump and another 12,173 votes were switched to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, data scientists testified on Dec. 30 during a state Senate hearing.

Poll Observer Claims ‘Statistically Impossible’ Number of Military Ballots in Georgia County Went for Biden

A poll observer in Cobb County, Georgia said during a state Senate subcommittee meeting that she reviewed nearly 300 overseas military ballots and that as high as 90 percent of them went to Biden.

The poll observer, Debbie Fisher, says she reviewed ballots during the November 16 hand recount, and that “throughout the day, it made me sicker to see” that so many were going for Biden. According to Fisher, such a scenario was “statistically impossible” as that part of Cobb County is traditionally Republican.

But that’s not the only suspicious thing she witnessed.

“Of those ballots, as I walked through them piece by piece … I noticed something disturbing. They were inordinately perfect” in how they were filled out. “About 90 percent of them had no paper folds,” which means that they were not mailed in an envelope, as is required by law.

Fisher said she challenged the suspicious military ballots, requesting they be thrown out—but the election official in charge refused, and insisted the ballots were legitimate.

“People talk about obstruction, they talk about rudeness, they talk about whatever, but I can honestly tell you there was obstruction,” Fisher said of the behavior of the election workers.

But, a signature audit by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and secretary of state investigators claim there were no widespread fraudulent absentee ballots.

According to a press release from Secretary of State Raffensperger’s office, “The absentee ballot envelopes for the audit were ‘pulled from 30 randomly selected boxes of the accepted ABM ballots and one box identified as accepted Electronic Ballot Delivery ABM ballots.’ Each of the boxes that held the ballots were previously ‘secured in boxes by the Cobb County Elections Department’ and were selected by a random number generator.”

Fisher doesn’t buy it. She says that election officials certified the signature audit “with no observers available to watch how they audited them.”

Melissa Carone, Rudy Giuliani’s star witness during Michigan’s surreal election hearings, may be facing a lawsuit for her debunked allegations against Dominion Voting Systems. She’s proven an uncooperative target, disregarding orders from Dominion lawyers not to tamper with evidence. 

"I don’t know who the [expletive] they think they are," Carone told Detroit's Fox affiliate. "Sorry, excuse my language, but they are not telling me what to do."

Carone is referring to a letter from Dominion’s lawyers informing her that a defamation suit is “imminent” and asking that she preserve any communications between her and the Donald Trump campaign.

"I’ll be saving them," Carone said in her Fox interview. "I’ll be saving them on my personal computer and if I feel like deleting them I’ll delete them, but they’re not going to see any of my private conversations - I’ll tell you that. Or any personal conversations I’ve had with the Trump campaign, anybody, they’re not seeing it."

Dominion also said that Carone overstated her role in the voting process, saying she was a temp worker brought on to “clean glass on machines and complete other menial tasks.” Carone maintains she was part of the IT team overseeing the machines.

"My job description was in IT support," Carone said. "I don’t know what they mean when they say ‘cleaning glass’. I never cleaned glass… I guess it’s just to be degrading.” 

It’s the latest move in Dominion’s efforts to clamp down on the disproven accusations against the integrity of their election machines. A statement to Fox from its legal counsel says Carone won’t be the only one that might face lawsuits.

“Our immediate focus is on Sidney Powell, who has been one of the most egregious and prolific purveyors of defamatory falsehoods,” said the statement. “Moving forward, we will certainly be taking a close look at others who have participated directly in the defamatory campaign - as well as those who have recklessly provided a platform for these discredited allegations.”

John Lott, who was hired by the Justice Department in October as senior adviser for Research and Statistics at the Office of Justice Programs, has published a study concluding that as many as 368,000 “excess votes” tipped the election outcome to favor Joe Biden in two consequential battleground states.

“Increased fraud can take many forms: higher rates of filling out absentee ballots for people who hadn’t voted, dead people voting, ineligible people voting, or even payments to legally registered people for their votes,” reads the study’s summary. “The estimates here indicate that there were 70,000 to 79,000 ‘excess’ votes in Georgia and Pennsylvania.”

The best estimate shows an unusual 7.81% drop in Trump’s percentage of the absentee ballots for Fulton County alone of 11,350 votes, or over 80% of Biden’s vote lead in Georgia. The same approach is applied to Allegheny County in Pennsylvania for both absentee and provisional ballots. The estimated number of fraudulent votes from those two sources is about 55,270 votes.

The study aimed to quantify how large of a problem voter fraud and other election irregularities were in the 2020 election. “The process is applicable to other states where precinct-level data is available on voting by absentee and in-person voting,” explains the study’s introduction.

Lott concludes that the discrepancies in absentee voting are not likely to have been caused by a shift by Democrats to vote absentee because of the pandemic, as the study controlled for in-person voting.

“In layman’s terms, in precincts with alleged fraud, Trump’s proportion of absentee votes was depressed – even when such precincts had similar in-person Trump vote shares to their surrounding countries,” Lott explains. “The fact that the shift happens only in absentee ballots, and when a country line is crossed, is suspicious.”

“The precinct-level estimates for Georgia and Pennsylvania indicate that vote fraud may account for Biden’s win in both states,” Lott concludes.

Lott also looked at voter turnout rates in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin, comparing counties where there was alleged fraud and those where there wasn’t.  When those states are included, Lott estimates that as many 289,000 fraudulent votes in the 2020 election were counted.

The study, called “A Simple Test for the Extent of Vote Fraud with Absentee Ballots in the 2020 Presidential Election: Georgia and Pennsylvania Data” was published on Tuesday.

Lott is considered a controversial figure by the left-wing media. He is the founder of the Crime Prevention Research Center, a pro-Second Amendment nonprofit, which has published studies concluding that communities with higher rates of gun ownership have lower rates of crime. Lott left the organization to serve in the Trump administration. Andrew Pollack, the father of Meadow Pollack, who was killed during the Parkland shooting in 2018, has since taken over as president of the organization.

Reforming the economic system to make it more equitable and sustainable. This is how the raison d’être of the Council of Inclusive Capitalism can be summarised.

The Vatican has joined this platform formed by leaders of some of the biggest multinational corporations such as Visa, Johnson&Johnson, BP, Allianz and Bank of America, as well as foundations and large global non-profit organizations.

The Council defines itself as a “partnership” and “alliance” that “signifies the urgency of joining moral and market imperatives to reform capitalism into a powerful force for the good of humanity”.

In fact, Pope Francis stands out among the main leaders of the initiative, alongside Roman Catholic Cardinal Prefect of the Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development Peter Turkson, and a group of influential business leaders who call themselves “Guardians”.

According to the initiative, these Guardians coming from different businesses “have already committed to hundreds of measurable actions”.

The Council is formed by around 500 companies, which together represent 10.5 trillion dollars in assets under management and 200 million workers in over 163 countries.

“This Council will follow the warning from Pope Francis to listen to ‘the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor’ and answer society’s demands for a more equitable and sustainable model of growth”, said the founder of the Council, Lynn Forester de Rothschild.

Francis, the "moral guide"

In 2013, Francis stated in the document Evangeli Gaudium, that “the market, by itself, cannot solve all problems”. Now, the highest representative of the Vatican, whose debt has been controversial to the point that some analysts say the institution is close to bankruptcy, is defined by the Council of Inclusive Capitalism as their “moral guide”.

“An economic system that is fair, trustworthy, and capable of addressing the most profound challenges facing humanity and our planet is urgently needed. You have taken up the challenge by seeking ways to make capitalism become a more inclusive instrument for integral human wellbeing”, the Pope told the Guardians.

The Council says it is “inspired by the moral imperative of all faiths” and invites other businesses and non-profit organizations to join the “moral guide of Pope Francis”.

The alliance will have one annual meeting between the Guardians and the Vatican representatives Francis and Cardinal Turkson.

Dominion tells Mellissa Carone to stop spreading misinformation about the fraudulent elections

The company that designed election equipment used in Detroit, Antrim County and many other jurisdictions across the country wants a former contract employee and others with ties to Michigan to stop spreading election misinformation. 

Last week, attorneys representing Dominion Voting Systems sent cease-and-desist letters to a litany of people tied to the campaign of President Donald Trump, including several with ties to Michigan:

  • Mellissa Carone, a former contract employee who worked for Dominion in Detroit. She has made a series of debunked and refuted fraud allegations involving Dominion and Detroit. 
  • Russell James Ramsland Jr., a self-proclaimed cybersecurity analyst who has worked with the Trump campaign to create several deeply flawed analyses about the election in Michigan and other states.
  • Matthew DePerno, an attorney representing a man who sued Antrim County over a marijuana-related election issue. Through the lawsuit, a judge allowed a team affiliated with Ramsland to review Dominion machines used in Antrim County.

The legal requests are part of a broader strategy aimed at combating misinformation spread by Trump allies that the voting systems company played a role in a conspiracy to steal the election from Trump.

All three letters indicate litigation is "imminent," but that's no guarantee anyone will be sued. Dominion asks everyone to hold on to a wide array of documents and evidence of communications with, among others, members of President Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the media. The broad requests state they need to preserve this information, even if it wasn't published.

"Without a shred of corroborating evidence, you have claimed that you witnessed several different versions of voter fraud — ranging from one story involving a van, to other accusations that votes were counted multiple times. You published these statements even though you knew all along that your attacks on Dominion have no basis in reality," reads the letter to Carone, from attorneys Thomas A. Clare and Megan L. Meier of Clark Locke LLP. 

The allegations from Carone, Ramsland and others are far-fetched and have been repeatedly debunked. President-elect Joe Biden received 154,000 more votes in Michigan than Trump, and more than enough Electoral College votes to earn the presidency. 

Sidney Powell, an attorney favored by Trump even after she was disavowed by his campaign, has alleged in lawsuits that Dominion is tied to confederates of late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez and is a key part of the international scheme to steal the election. 

Dominion CEO John Poulos recently testified under oath at a Michigan Senate hearing, where he rebutted claims made by Powell and others.

Carone, who worked on a one-day contract for Dominion in Detroit at the TCF Center, gained international attention after she joined Trump campaign attorney Rudy Giuliani at a Michigan legislative hearing in November. That includes a skit on Saturday Night Live and some national television interviews. 

During the hearing, Carone alleged as many as 100,000 absentee ballots were counted twice and seemed to imply Dominion was involved in some sort of conspiracy. Her accusations have repeatedly been refuted by courts, elections experts and by lawmakers. 

Carone did not immediately respond to emails and phone calls from the Free Press Monday seeking comment. She told the Detroit News she is not concerned about the letter and stated Dominion is "scared of me." 

In numerous reports offered by Ramsland as purported proof of fraud, he and his associates have made basic and blatant errors. In one report, he made wildly inaccurate claims about voter turnout in several Michigan precincts. In another, he confused voting precincts in Minnesota with Michigan towns.

He also issued a report wrongly indicating there was an "error rate" of more than 68% with the Dominion machines used to count ballots in Antrim County. A hand recount of every ballot cast in Antrim County led to only 12 additional votes for Trump. 

"You issued a report last month falsely claiming that Dominion machines are 'intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.' This is patently false," the letter to Ramsland states. 

Ramsland did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment. 

DePerno and several other attorneys around the country also received a letter from Dominion, accusing them of being "architects and drivers of the ongoing misinformation campaign against Dominion." DePerno represents William Bailey, an Antrim County man who sued over the vote count in a local marijuana proposal. 

Through the lawsuit, DePerno successfully argued a team should be allowed to inspect the Dominion voting machines used in the county. DePerno has said Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is lying about the situation in Antrim County and the results of the review of the Dominion machines was enough to warrant overturning all election results in the state. 

DePerno did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment. 

Michigan's 16 delegates to the Electoral College already cast their ballots for Biden. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer sent the certified slate to Congress. Biden will be sworn in on Jan. 20. 

 

Hamas-Linked CAIR Demands Biden Dismantle Counterterror Operations

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) worked hard to get His Fraudulency President-select Joe Biden into the White House, and now it’s time for payback. On Tuesday, the sinister organization that the establishment media routinely presents as a benign human rights group released what it called “a detailed agenda detailing policy changes that the Biden-Harris administration should pursue within its first 100 days in office to restore the rights of Americans Muslims and advance justice for all.” “Restore the rights of American Muslims”? What rights have they been denied? If you said “none,” you’re correct, but CAIR’s wishlist emanates from the bizarro world of the group’s relentless efforts to secure coveted victimhood status for Muslims in the U.S.

The report is impressively detailed, identifying “33 new initiatives and policy reforms designed to protect and respect the rights of all U.S. citizens and residents, including Muslims, that the new administration can start to implement the first day in office.”

This is so much eyewash, as there is nothing among these 33 demands that is designed to protect and respect the rights of anyone but Muslims, but this sort of thing plays well with the media, and so it’s always worth throwing in. For example, one of the demands is “Support the free speech of all Americans and the right to boycott without government interference.” Another demands an “end the U.S. Department of Education’s attempts to suppress free speech on college campuses, including attempts to target Middle Eastern studies courses and punishing Palestinian student activists.”

These are not calls for the support of the freedom of speech as such. CAIR’s support for the freedom of speech here is stated only in connection to protesting Israel. When it comes to criticism of Islam, CAIR’s commitment to the freedom of speech suddenly weakens. It also demands the removal of “alt-right and Islamophobic online resources” from “existing vetting practices,” which is essentially a call for the removal of material that speaks honestly about the motivating ideology behind jihad terrorism. All such material was removed years ago, so it’s unclear what CAIR spokesman Ibrahim “Honest Ibe” Hooper is in a lather about here. But free speech? Not really high on CAIR’s agenda at all.

“CAIR’s agenda,” CAIR notes proudly, “is being endorsed by the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, the largest coalition of several leading national, regional, and local Muslim organizations and institutions harnessing the collective strength of American Muslims for the greater good of all.” That makes it all the more disquieting that the list of demands includes these:

1. Fundamentally reform the federal government’s unconstitutional Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB), commonly referred to as the “terrorism watchlist.”
2. Dismantle the TSA’s secretive Quiet Skies passenger tracking program, its international counterpart Silent Partner and other rules-based lists, that operate without Congressional oversight to single out law-abiding Muslim travelers for official harassment and extrajudicial consequences without due process.
3. Oppose and defund the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (“DHS”) 2020 “Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention” (“TVTP”) grant program, the successor of DHS’s previous Countering Violent Extremism (“CVE”) grant program.
4. End the FBI’s use of informants to spy on American Muslim communities.
5. Reject any new domestic terrorism statutes.

Consider all these demands in light of the fact that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman, Omar Ahmad, as well as Hooper, have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.)

Even worse, CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas.

This list of demands also features some of CAIR’s usual victimhood mongering: “Ensure American Muslims and other minorities, like all other Americans, have equal access to the COVID-19 vaccine and federal and state aid available to those impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.” Of course, there is no need for such a demand, as no one anywhere is contemplating denying Muslims or anyone else equal access to the vaccine.

The next demand makes the remedy for this alleged discrimination clear: “provide more funding to American Muslim clinics.” Ah yes, no problem is so big that a little cash won’t solve it.

Legal Memo Outlines Strategy for Trump to Succeed: Having Supreme Court Hear Election Dispute

The Western Journal has published a legal memo written by William J. Olson & Patrick M. McSweeney that, they say, “outlines a possible legal strategy for the Trump campaign to follow in the coming weeks.” The legal memo was reportedly sent to President Trump prior to it being published on The Western Journal.

The authors of the memo contend that by refusing to hear Texas v. Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court” abdicated its constitutional duty to resolve a real and substantial controversy among states that was properly brought as an original action in that Court,” resulting in intense criticism that they had evaded “the most important inter-state constitutional case brought to it in many decades, if not ever.”

“However,” the authors say, “even in its Order dismissing the case, the Supreme Court identified how another challenge could be brought successfully — by a different plaintiff.”

Just because Texas did not persuade the Justices that what happens in Pennsylvania hurts Texas does not mean that the United States of America could not persuade the justices that when Pennsylvania violates the U.S. Constitution, it harms the nation. Article III, § 2, cl. 2 confers original jurisdiction on the Supreme Court in any case suit brought by the United States against a state. Thus, the United States can and should file suit against Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin. Like the Texas suit, that new suit would seek an order invalidating the appointment of the electors appointed by those four defendant States that refused to abide by the terms of the Presidential Electors Clause.

Olsen and McSweeney say that if this happened, it would “leave it to the state legislatures in those four states to “appoint” electors — which is what the Constitution requires. The United States suffered an injury when those four states “violated the Constitution by allowing electors who had not been appointed in the manner prescribed by the state legislature.”

So, is this the next step for the Trump legal team? Trump legal adviser Jenna Ellis shared this legal strategy memo on Twitter, urging her followers to read it, so this strategy is definitely on their radar.

This still leaves us asking, “Is there hope?”

It’s the season of miracles, so never give up.

Multiple sources are claiming Supreme Court Justice John Roberts is an “anti-Trumper” who is actively working to ensure President Trump isn’t re-elected.

A video going viral online shows Arizona State Senator Eddie Farnsworth citing a Supreme Court staffer who allegedly heard SCOTUS judges yelling behind closed doors during a heated argument.

Farnsworth describes a statement made by a “Current staffer for one of the Supreme Court Justices.”

“He said the justices, as they always do, went into a closed room to discuss cases or to debate,” Farnsworth explained. “There are no phones, no computers, no nothing. No one else is in the room except the nine justices. It’s typically very civil.”

He continued, saying, “They usually don’t hear any sound, they just debate what they’re doing. But, when the Texas case was brought up, he heard screaming through the walls as Justice Roberts and the other liberal justices were insisting that this case not be taken up. The words that were heard through the wall when Justice Thomas and Justice Alito were citing Bush vs Gore, from John Roberts, were,

‘I don’t give a ***** about that case, I don’t want to hear about it. At that time we didn’t have riots.’ So, what he was saying is he was afraid of what would happen if they didn’t do the right thing.”

“I’m sorry, but that is moral cowardice,” Farnsworth declared. “We in the SREC, I’m an SREC member, we put those words in very specifically, because the charge of the Supreme Court is to ultimately be our final arbitrator, our final line of defense for right and wrong, and they did not do their duty. So, I think we should leave these words in because I want to send a strong message to them. Thank you.”

Corroborating this account is an interview with Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, a Trump insider, who told the Strange Report podcast about the Supreme Court clerk’s experience before Farnsworth spoke out.

According to Howard-Browne, “The clerk said, ‘The justices are normally calm. They meet behind closed doors, and you never hear anything, but it was a screaming match. You could hear it all down the hallway.'”

“He said they met in person… they didn’t trust the telephonic meeting,” Howard-Browne told Strange Report. “Chief Justice Roberts was screaming, ‘Are you going to be responsible for the rioting if we hear this case?’ And then Roberts went on to say [to Justice Neil Gorsuch], ‘Don’t tell me about Bush versus Gore. We weren’t dealing with riots then, and you’re forgetting what your role is. And I don’t want to hear anything from the two junior justices.'”

The clerk alleged that Roberts continued, saying, “I will tell you how to vote,” with Justice Clarence Thomas supposedly answering, “This will be the end of democracy, John.”

“When they left the room, Roberts and the liberals and Kavanaugh had big smiles; Alito and Thomas [were] visibly upset; ACB and Gorsuch didn’t seem fazed at all,” according to Howard-Browne’s source.

“So obviously, it’s clear that Chief Justice Roberts is intimidated by Antifa, the left-wing rioting,” the pastor concluded. “And, of course, that’s the problem that we’re dealing with. Apart from the corruption that’s in our courts, and the judges that are legislating from the benches, and all the corruption that we’re dealing with here with the voting fraud and the scandals of what’s taking place. This would be ultimately the scenario that I could just see unfolding in the Supreme Court.”

In addition to these claims, Trump attorney Lin Wood wrote on Twitter Thursday, “This may be the most important tweet of my life.”

He continued, “Chief Justice John Roberts is corrupt & should resign immediately. Justice Stephen Breyer should also resign immediately. They are ‘anti-Trumpers’ dedicated to preventing the public from knowing the TRUTH of
Trump’s re-election.”

Elaborating, Wood claimed Roberts was heard discussing Trump in a phone conversation, saying, “the mother f#*ker would never be re-elected.”

“Roberts engaged in phone conversations with Justice Stephen Breyer discussing how to work to get Trump voted out,” Lin wrote.

The POTUS attorney added, “This is a sad day for our country but a day on which we must wake up & face the truth,” and told Americans, “Roberts is the reason that SCOTUS has not acted on election cases. Others involved.”

Changing the direction of his Twitter rant, Wood said he’s “long had questions about ‘the John Roberts’ on Jeffrey Epstein private jet flight logs. I suspected it was our Chief Justice. MSM has shown no interest in investigating issue to find TRUTH. America is now entitled to know the answer. Every lie will be revealed. Pray.”

“The documentation of my claims about Justices Roberts & Breyer has been placed in hands of several third parties,” Wood added. “When one cannot attack message, all too often messenger is attacked. But TRUTH cannot be denied. It cannot be destroyed. I have made sure of that TRUTH.”

Infowars has reached out to Lin Wood to inquire about the documentation of his claims, but has yet to receive a response.

One final tweet on the subject by Wood explains that if he gave the wrong date for the alleged phone call where Justice Roberts said Trump would “never be re-elected,” that the judge can give the exact date himself.

“While you have his attention, ask him some other questions. He owes The People answers. He owes us TRUTH,” Lin wrote.

We always knew it, but now we have more proof that Tony Bobulinski told the truth about the Biden-China connection.

Fox News has uncovered emails from 2017 in which Hunter Biden begs the Chinese for $10 million. Even better, he extended “best wishes from the entire Biden family,” which would include his father, then former vice president and now the presumptive president-elect.

One letter went to Ye Jianming, the chairman of CEFC, a bankrupt Chinese energy company.

In some sense, the emails are nothing new. But they do confirm Bobulinski’s vivid testimony about the Biden family’s Chinese connection, which should have ended Joe’s candidacy.

In October, Bobulinski, a former Navy officer, blew the whistle on the Bidens and confirmed Joe Biden’s knowledge of his son’s activities. Now, though, more emails show just what the Bidens nearly collected.

Though the $10 million transfer never went through, Fox reported, Hunter was desperate for it.

On June 18, 2017, Hunter Biden asked CEFC’s Zhao Runlong to “translate my letter to Chairman Ye, please extend my warmest best wishes and that I hope to see the Chairman soon.”

That letter, dated June 17, and attached to the email, included the usual schmoozing.

“I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States,” he wrote. “Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners.”

Reported Fox:

Biden went on to update Ye, saying that they have “concluded the establishment of SinoHawk Holdings,” the Biden joint venture with CEFC, and said he looked “forward” to introducing him to his business associate Tony Bobulinski, who he wrote would “act as the CEO.”

“He is a very close friend of James Gilliar and the Biden family and joined our team to focus on the execution of things as a partner,” Biden wrote. “He has invested capital all over the world for some of the world’s wealthiest families.”

Then came the pitch to get the check in the mail: “I would appreciate if you will send that quickly so we can properly fund and operate Sinohawk.”

Ye answered Biden on July 10. “I will continue to pay attention and give my support,” Ye wrote after the usual pleasantries. “I have arranged Director Zang and Gongwen Dong to expedite the charter capital input to SinoHawk.”

Senate Report, $5M Transfers

The Senate Homeland Security and Finance committees explained that Ye and other Chinese officials were tied to the communist government and Peoples Liberation Army.”

“Those associations resulted in millions of dollars in questionable transactions/cash flow,” the report said.

Fox also provided more details about Bobulinski’s emails and text messages about the $10 million payment:

According to the messages reviewed by Fox News, which range from June 25, 2017, through mid-July 2017, the $10 million transfer was delayed for weeks. Several text messages suggest the delay was due to visa issues, including one email sent by President-elect Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, who was involved in the joint-venture. 

“Just got off the phone with Zaho[sp], Still dealing with Visa issues, they still haven’t filled out proper paperwork submissions, re entry. Still want my personal advise,” Jim Biden appeared to write in an email to Bobulinski on July 10, 2017. …

In another message, dated July 10, 2017, between Bobulinski and “Zhao- Shanghai CEFC,” Zhao stated: “I do not want to throw a damp over such a capable executive like you.” 

“This is the dark side of the Chinese business,” Zhao wrote. “But I think you deserve to know it… if I am telling you what you already know just ignore it.”

A source familiar with the documents told Fox News that the Zhao whom Bobulinski had been texting was the same Zhao who spoke with Jim Biden, and whom Hunter Biden sent the initial letter, requesting he translate for Ye. Zhao Runlong has been listed in a LinkedIn profile as the “Chief Interpreter, Corporate Event Coordiantor, Business Liaison of Beijing Branch· ‎CEFC China Energy Company Limited.”

On July 18, 2017, Bobulinski asked that the “$10 MM be sent in 2 $5 MM tranches but @ the same time, $5 MM to savings and $5 MM to checking. That is what we prefer.”

Again, the $10 million transfer never happened, Fox reported. But reprising the Senate report, the network noted that Hudson West III, a firm that Hunter Biden opened with Chinese associates, received $5 million from CEFC on August 8.

The report also said this:

The same day the $5 million was received, and continuing through Sept. 25, 2018, Hudson West III sent frequent payments to Owasco, Hunter Biden’s firm. These payments, which were described as consulting fees, reached $4,790,375.25 in just over a year.

The emails also show that Hunter Biden leased an office, the sign for which would read “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US),” yet “the lease will remain under my company’s name Rosemont Seneca,” Biden wrote, the business venture ensnared in the Biden-Burisma influence-peddling scheme. 

The latest emails confirm what Bobulinski said before about his dealings with the Bidens, not least that Joe Biden, is the “big guy” that emails say will get 10 percent of Sinohawk.

Bobulinski said he met Joe Biden, and that Biden lied when claiming ignorance of Hunter’s strangely lucrative international business dealings.

Michigan’s top witness of election fraud debunked recent claims that Dominion CEO John Poulos made while under oath to a State Senate Committee.

“He stated none of the machines were connected to the Internet,” election fraud witness Melissa Carone said. “[There is a] 53-minute audio recording of the Dominion training session, in which they admit that all of their hardware is connected to the internet.”

Melissa Carone said the Dominion CEO also lied by saying that election workers had ballots locked in steel boxes. In reality, she said, they had access to the ballots and even ran them through machines several times.

Additionally, Carone added Poulos falsely denied ballot dumps at Detroit’s TCF Center. She noted there is documented evidence of the ballot dumps.

“These pictures are crazy,” Carone said. “They are from outside the Department of Elections on the third and the fourth and there are Penske moving trucks. The back of them are open.”

She noted that trucks belonging to the city of Detroit were allegedly parked behind the moving trucks to guard them.

In a newly released email, incoming President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden sent “best wishes from the entire Biden family” to the Chinese Communist Party-linked Chinese energy company with whom Hunter Biden intended to launch a firm. After claiming to speak for the whole family — which very much includes Hunter’s father, the former vice president — Hunter Biden asked the chairman to wire $10 million to “properly fund and operate” the company he intended to launch.

That $10 million transfer to the joint venture never came through, much to the chagrin of Tony Bobulinski, the man who was to become CEO of the venture. Bobulinski has since come forward to expose Hunter Biden’s influence peddling and Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in the lucrative business deals that enriched the Biden family, arguably at America’s expense. Bobulinski provided this latest email to Fox News, which reported it on Wednesday.

Hunter Biden sent the email to Zhao Runlong at CEFC Energy, asking the firm’s employees to translate a message for CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming.

“I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States,” Biden wrote to Ye in a letter dated June 17, 2017, and sent via email the next day. “Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners.”

“We are all hoping to see you here again soon, or in Shanghai,” the former vice president’s son added.

Biden said he and his partners had “concluded the establishment of SinoHawk Holdings,” the joint venture with CEFC, and told Ye he looked “forward” to introducing him to Bobulinski, who would “act as the CEO.”

Ex-Hunter Biden Associate: ‘I Have Firsthand Knowledge’ Joe Biden Was Involved in China Deals

“He is a very close friend of James Gilliar and the Biden family and joined our team to focus on the execution of things as a partner,” Hunter Biden wrote. “He has invested capital all over the world for some of the world’s wealthiest families.”

The ex-VP’s son went on to note that Bobulinski had “sent a request to Dong Gongwen [Gongwen Dong] and Director Zang for the funding of the $10 MM USD wire. I would appreciate if you will send that quickly so we can properly fund and operate Sinohawk.”

Fox News also published Ye’s response — dated July 10, 2017 — and reported on a September 6, 2017, email from Gilliar to Bobulinski.

Ye said he had arranged for Zang and Dong to “expedite the charter capital input to SinoHawk.”

“I am glad to hear from you! Time flies and it has been months since we met in the US. It seems that we were always on a rush when we were together,” Ye wrote to Hunter Biden, adding that “the consensus we made last time has been materialized in a timely manner.”

“I look forward to meeting you in the near future and discussing our joint undertaking. If there is anything I could do please do not hesitate to write to me,” Ye added. “Please accept my best regards to you and your family.”

According to a Senate Homeland Security Committee and Senate Finance Committee report released in September, Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong, and other Chinese nationals with whom Hunter Biden worked have ties to the Chinese Communist Party government and the People’s Liberation Army.

“Those associations resulted in millions of dollars in questionable transactions/cash flow,” the report warned.

Bobulinski has repeatedly claimed that Joe Biden was personally involved with Hunter Biden’s lucrative foreign deals, including those with China. Bobulinski said he personally met with Joe Biden to discuss these deals. The Biden campaign released the former vice president’s tax returns, which do not reflect any involvement with Chinese investments.

Fox News reviewed many text messages about the $10 million seed money for SinoHawk. According to those messages, visa issues delayed the transfer for weeks.

According to the Senate report, CEFC wired nearly $5 million to the bank account for Hudson West III, a firm that Hunter Biden opened with Chinese associates, on August 8, 2017. It is unclear whether Hunter Biden was a half-owner of Hudson West III at the time, yet on the same day the $5 million came through, and continuing through September 25, 2018, Hudson West III sent request payments to Owasco, Hunter Biden’s firm. The payments, described as consulting fees, totaled “$4,790,375.25 in just over a year.”

In another email, Hunter Biden requested keys for his new “office mates”: Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden, and to Cecilia Browning, the general manager at the House of Sweden. Biden also requested keys for Gongwen Dong, whom he described as an “emissary” for Chairman Ye Jianming. “I would like the office sign to reflect the following: The Biden Foundation… Hudson West (CEFC US),” Hunter Biden wrote.

On Wednesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called for a special counsel investigation into Hunter Biden’s China ties, saying that anyone who supported a special counsel investigation into President Donald Trump over trumped-up claims of Russian collusion should agree that Hunter Biden’s China deals cast a pall on the incoming president.

Joe Biden may truly be compromised by business deals involving the Chinese Communist Party. America had the opportunity to avoid this sticky situation in the November 3 election, but Big Tech and the legacy media buried the story, helping Biden prevail.

Then onto the stage came one Fr. Greg Bramlage, a Colorado priest who says he is an exorcist. He shamanically prayed down heaven to deliver America from demons. These were real deliverance prayers. He is saying, in effect, that to oppose Trump and his re-election is to be an agent of Satan. This was the first time I got really angry. As regular readers know, I believe in the power of exorcism. I believe the demonic is real. But there was this Trumpy priest deploying holy prayers of deliverance from the demonic on behalf of a politician, and did it in a way that logically locates doubters within the shadow of Mordor. It felt sacrilegious. I wondered what Protestants in this crowd thought about the Catholic priest addressing prayers to Mary, the saints, and the angels. Following him was an opera singer belting out “Ave Maria.” Trumpy ecumenism is a fascinating religious development. This isn’t simply a revival of the old Chuck Colson/Richard John Neuhaus “Catholics & Evangelicals Together.” This is something much more intense. Later in the day, a Catholic priest blessed a framed image of Our Lady of Guadalupe that they plan to give to Melania Trump. Again, what did the Evangelicals think of that? I believe that it is good for Christians to work together on political and social causes of mutual concern. But if I believed what Evangelicals believe, I would have a lot of trouble affirming, by my presence, those kind of Catholic prayers. But maybe common love for Trump overcomes these theological divisions.

Then a woman who heads a pro-Trump organization in Virginia came onstage to instruct the crowd: “We have to align our spirituality to our politics.”

Yes, it is bonkers. All of it. But you would be wrong to make fun of it and blow it off. This phenomenon is going to matter. Divinizing MAGA and Stop The Steal is going to tear churches to bits, and drive people away from the Christian faith (or keep them from coming in the first place). Based on what I saw today, the Christians in this movement do not doubt that Trump is God’s chosen, that they, by following him, are walking in light, and whatever they do to serve Trump is also serving God. They have tightly wound apocalyptic religion to conservative politics and American nationalism.

“We have to align our spirituality to our politics,” said the speaker today. Notice that she didn’t say “align our politics to our spirituality.” Politics determines spirituality. (?)

Mary was no exception. God’s word tells us that sin entered the world through Adam, ‘and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned’ (Rom. 5:12).”

ROME — In one of the feasts and celebrations marked on the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar leading up to Christmas, Catholics around the world observed the Feast of Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, a day in which those who follow the religion commemorate their belief that Mary was conceived in her mother’s womb without original sin. The doctrine has been deemed unbiblical and rejected by evangelicals.

“Even she (Mary) was saved by Christ, but in an extraordinary way,” Jorge Bergoglio, the leader of Roman Catholicism known as “Pope Francis,” stated during his Angelus address over St. Peter’s Square, “because God wanted that the mother of His Son not be touched by the misery of sin from the moment of her conception.”

“And so, for the entire course of her earthly life, Mary was free from any stain of sin,” he claimed. “She was the [one] ‘full of grace’ as the angel called her.”

Bergoglio made his customary visit to the Piazza di Spagna in Rome to pray to Mary before a sculpture that was commissioned in 1857 by Pius IX. The figure, which rests atop the lofty Column of Immaculate Conception, was created by Giuseppe Obici, and shows Mary stomping the head of a serpent.

“With the first light of dawn, under the rain, Pope Francis placed a bouquet of roses at the base of the column where the statue of the Madonna is, and turned to her in prayer, so that she might lovingly watch over Rome and its inhabitants, entrusting to her all in the city and the world who are afflicted by illness and discouragement,” according to a statement from the Holy See Press Office.

He also visited the Basilica of St. Mary Major, where he prayed before the Maria Salus Popoli Romani, which being translated means “Mary, Health/Protection of the Roman People.”

The oil-based painting depicts Mary holding the Christ child and has been visited by Vatican leadership for centuries, being carried throughout Rome in 593 to pray for the end of the Black Plague. Gregory XVI prayed before it in seeking help in the midst of the cholera outbreak of 1837.

Bergoglio then observed mass in the basilica’s Chapel of Nativity before returning back to the Vatican.

As previously reported, the concept of the immaculate conception was declared by Pope Pius IX on December 8, 1854, who issued a proclamation ex cathedra claiming that it had been revealed to him by God that Mary was conceived without sin.

“We declare, pronounce and define that the doctrine which holds that the blessed virgin Mary, at the first instant of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace of the Omnipotent God, in virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind, was preserved immaculate from all stain of original sin, has been revealed by God, and therefore should firmly and constantly be believed by all the faithful,” he said.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church reads in paragraph 491, “Through the centuries, the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, ‘full of grace’ through God, was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854.”

Paragraph 493 states, “The Fathers of the Eastern tradition call the Mother of God ‘the All-Holy’ (Panagia) and celebrate her as ‘free from any stain of sin, as though fashioned by the Holy Spirit and formed as a new creature.’ By the grace of God Mary remained free of every personal sin her whole life long.”

Bergoglio mirrored this doctrine on Tuesday, telling hearers that just as Mary was sinless, so shall they too be when their salvation is complete.

“What Mary had from the beginning, will be ours in the end,” he stated, “after we have passed through the purifying ‘bath’ of God’s grace.”

“The uncontaminated beauty of our mother is incomparable, but at the same time, it attracts us,” Bergoglio said. “Let us entrust ourselves to her and say ‘no’ to sin and ‘yes’ to grace once and for all.”

As previously reported, Catholics also believe that Mary did not die but, like Jesus, ascended into Heaven. The concept is not found in the Scriptures but was decreed by Pope Pius XII in 1950 as he wrote, “We pronounce, declare and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma that the immaculate mother of God, the ever virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul to heavenly glory.”

However, evangelicals feel that Catholics place an inordinate amount of focus on Mary and unbiblically ascribe attributes to her that belong to the Godhead alone, such as her all-seeing eye (omniscience), her ability to hear prayers from around the world (omnipresence), and her power to care for and protect those who entrust their very lives to her, even by intercession (omnipotence).

In Luke 1:47, Mary referred to the Almighty as her Savior, declaring, “My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior, for he hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden. For, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.”

GotQuestions.org outlines, “The Bible nowhere describes Mary as anything but an ordinary human female whom God chose to be the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary was undoubtedly a godly woman (Luke 1:28). Mary was surely a wonderful wife and mother. Jesus definitely loved and cherished His mother (John 19:27).”

“But the Bible gives us no reason to believe that Mary was sinless. In fact, the Bible gives us every reason to believe that Jesus Christ is the only Person who was not ‘infected’ by sin and never committed a sin (see Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5).”

Pope Francis issued the latest in a long line of papal letters that fly in the face of God’s Word, the Holy Bible. Entitled Fratelli Tutti (“Brothers All”), the encyclical letter calls for global unity. It builds on the Document on Human Fraternity that the Pope signed with Ahman al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar in Abu Dhabi, in February 2019. It teaches the heresy of the universal Fatherhood of God. It teaches the heresy that all beliefs bring richness to the human family. It teaches that “Jesus Christ is in those who are abandoned or excluded.” It calls for open borders. “Each country also belongs to the foreigner inasmuch as a territory’s goods must not be denied to a needy person coming from elsewhere.” It denounces capital punishment and calls for the “care of the whole planet.” It calls for the “subordination of all private property to the universal destination of the earth’s goods, and thus the right of all to their use,” which, of course, is communism. It rejects the concept of a “just war,” calls for disarmament, promotes the myth that disarmament would produce global peace, and makes the ridiculous claim that war can be stayed “with a word” and “peace can be maintained by peace.”
