Why is Germany welcoming Islamic migrants who believe women are not allowed to work and should be punished or even killed for doing so?

In Berlin, Germany, on Sunday, September 5, 2021, a 29-year-old Afghan refugee repeatedly stabbed a 58-year-old landscape gardener in the neck because he was angry that a woman was allowed to have a job. A 66-year-old who came to her aid was also seriously injured and stabbed in the throat by the self-appointed enforcer of sharia.

The Muslim Afghan who came to Germany in 2016 as a refugee approached the landscape gardener at around 1.30 p.m. He first tried to engage her in conversation and then suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed her over and over again in the neck. The Muslim also seriously injured a man trying to rescue the critically injured woman by stabbing him several times in his neck. Both victims of the attack were rushed to the hospital and had to be operated on.

Police officers arrested the Afghan at the scene. The refugee was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Motivation: Islamic Terror or Mental Illness

The Berlin Public Prosecutor, and the State Security Service of the State Criminal Police, are reportedly investigating the reasons for the violent attack. However, both departments and the media quickly led the public to believe mental illness probably played a role in the attacks.

The media downplayed the police announcement that they would be investigating the stabbings “from the perspective of a possible Islamist-motivated attack.” Also that the refugee tried to convince his neighbors to follow Islam and proselytized from his balcony and on the street. The terrorist repeatedly tried to convert his roommates and lectured them that they “should learn Arabic, the true language of the prophet.”

Islamic attacks in Germany are part of a new normal in a country struggling with mass illegal migration since 2015. Germany has the second-largest Muslim population of any European Union country, following France. Muslims make up more than 6.1 percent of the population. Islam has become the country’s fastest-growing religion as Church memberships, and church tax revenues have decreased significantly.

As reported at RAIR Foundation USA, this is part of the United Nations (UN) and European Union’s (EU) “Great replacement” scheme. EU elites, along with the UN, are using mass migration to replace the Western population. The illegal migrants are helping the left in their fight to dilute host cultures, ensure more votes, and consolidate their power.

Media Deplays Formula For Protecting Muslim Supremacists

German left-wing media quickly deployed their formula for protecting Islamic supremacists. First, they reported that the attack: “was most likely not terror-related,” despite police announcing they do not yet know the migrant’s motives. Next, they suggested the migrant could be suffering from “psychological issues.” And finally, they paint the terrorist as a poor, exhausted migrant suffering from discrimination and stress from his racist host country.

This dangerous media narrative doesn’t allow any healthy discussion or reasonable policy concerning mass Islamic immigration to Europe or the West. Instead, the media consistently acts as an attorney to defend jihadis and, Islamic ideology that motivates these attacks.

As reported several times at RAIR Foundation USA, those who question Islamic doctrine, Muhammad, their holy books, or even the nature of sharia law will be harmed by Muslim supremacists and the left.

Throughout Europe, accusations of alleged Islamophobia by the left and from Muslims have resulted in citizens being slaughtered, living in hiding, losing their careers, and living every day of their lives with targets on their backs.

Western Women Under Threat By Islamic Migrants

The driving impulse of the Islamic migrant to harm a woman who is employed outside the home is religious in nature and not the act of an “extremist.” His behavior and actions are part of and encouraged by his Islamic belief system, allowing him to slaughter unbelievers and punish women he may see as violating the Sharia.

Refugee workers in Europe have continuously reported that Muslim Afghans commit more crimes than other refugees. Moreover, the crimes are often extremely violent and sexual towards women.

According to the Pew Research Center: In 2013, 99% of Afghans were for the establishment of sharia, 85% of them for the stoning of unfaithful women.

Now that the Taliban has seized control of Afghanistan and implemented Sharia, women are not allowed to work again. Men are in charge of women, according to the words of Muhammad and the Quran.

For years in Afghanistan, women have lived under Sharia. They were not allowed out of the home without a male chaperone. They could not enter a taxi without a chaperone, and bus services were segregated male and female only. Women were required full burqas (covering everything, including a mesh for the eyes)

Any women who disobeyed the rules in Afghanistan, even if they did not have a male relative to go outside with them, were flogged in the street or stadiums and town halls. There is also no due process for women. Often, accusations were enough to warrant a death sentence.

Despite the potential dangers Afghan refugees pose to citizens and especially women in the West, German Chancellor Angela Merkel continues to flood her country with Afghans. Why is Germany welcoming Islamic migrants who believe women are not allowed to work and should be punished or even killed for doing so? At what point with Merkel’s left-wing government be held accountable for importing threats to women?

FOLLOWING THE POPE’S MANDATES: On 9/11, Biden decries ‘resentment against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion’

“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion.”

There is no justification whatsoever under any circumstances for violence against innocent Muslims or any innocent people. But this idea that Islam is a “peaceful religion” is nothing more than a dogma of the Leftist faith. It has no basis in reality.

Islam is not actually a religion of peace, and it is not a matter of bigotry or hatred to point this out. Are the authoritative schools of Sunni jurisprudence “Islamophobic”?

Shafi’i school: A Shafi’i manual of Islamic law that was certified in 1991 by the clerics at Al-Azhar University, one of the leading authorities in the Islamic world, as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy, stipulates about jihad that “the caliph makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or pay the non-Muslim poll tax.” It adds a comment by Sheikh Nuh Ali Salman, a Jordanian expert on Islamic jurisprudence: the caliph wages this war only “provided that he has first invited [Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians] to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya)…while remaining in their ancestral religions.” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o9.8).

Of course, there is no caliph today, and hence the oft-repeated claim that Osama et al are waging jihad illegitimately, as no state authority has authorized their jihad. But they explain their actions in terms of defensive jihad, which needs no state authority to call it, and becomes “obligatory for everyone” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o9.3) if a Muslim land is attacked. The end of the defensive jihad, however, is not peaceful coexistence with non-Muslims as equals: ‘Umdat al-Salik specifies that the warfare against non-Muslims must continue until “the final descent of Jesus.” After that, “nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent” (o9.8).

Hanafi school: A Hanafi manual of Islamic law repeats the same injunctions. It insists that people must be called to embrace Islam before being fought, “because the Prophet so instructed his commanders, directing them to call the infidels to the faith.” It emphasizes that jihad must not be waged for economic gain, but solely for religious reasons: from the call to Islam “the people will hence perceive that they are attacked for the sake of religion, and not for the sake of taking their property or making slaves of their children, and on this consideration, it is possible that they may be induced to agree to the call, in order to save themselves from the troubles of war.”

However, “if the infidels, upon receiving the call, neither consent to it nor agree to pay capitation tax [jizya], it is then incumbent on the Muslims to call upon God for assistance, and to make war upon them, because God is the assistant of those who serve Him, and the destroyer of His enemies, the infidels, and it is necessary to implore His aid upon every occasion; the Prophet, moreover, commands us so to do.” (Al-Hidayah, II.140)

Maliki school: Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406), a pioneering historian and philosopher, was also a Maliki legal theorist. In his renowned Muqaddimah, the first work of historical theory, he notes that “in the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force.” In Islam, the person in charge of religious affairs is concerned with “power politics,” because Islam is “under obligation to gain power over other nations.”

Hanbali school: The great medieval theorist of what is commonly known today as radical or fundamentalist Islam, Ibn Taymiyya (Taqi al-Din Ahmad Ibn Taymiyya, 1263-1328), was a Hanbali jurist. He directed that “since lawful warfare is essentially jihad and since its aim is that the religion is God’s entirely and God’s word is uppermost, therefore according to all Muslims, those who stand in the way of this aim must be fought.”

This is also taught by modern-day scholars of Islam. Majid Khadduri was an Iraqi scholar of Islamic law of international renown. In his book War and Peace in the Law of Islam, which was published in 1955 and remains one of the most lucid and illuminating works on the subject, Khadduri says this about jihad:

The state which is regarded as the instrument for universalizing a certain religion must perforce be an ever expanding state. The Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God’s law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant reigning ideology over the entire world….The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state. (P. 51)

Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, Assistant Professor on the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law of the International Islamic University in Islamabad. In his 1994 book The Methodology of Ijtihad, he quotes the twelfth century Maliki jurist Ibn Rushd: “Muslim jurists agreed that the purpose of fighting with the People of the Book…is one of two things: it is either their conversion to Islam or the payment of jizyah.” Nyazee concludes: “This leaves no doubt that the primary goal of the Muslim community, in the eyes of its jurists, is to spread the word of Allah through jihad, and the option of poll-tax [jizya] is to be exercised only after subjugation” of non-Muslims.

“Joe Biden Marks 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Criticizing ‘Dark Forces’ in America Against ‘Peaceful Religion’ of Islam,” by Charlie Spiering, Breitbart, September 10, 2021:

President Joe Biden marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by criticizing Americans for the anti-Muslim anger that occurred in the United States after the attacks took place.

“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said in a prerecorded video published for the occasion.

The president said that the principle of “unity” in the country was endangered by the attacks but ultimately prevailed.

“We also saw something all too rare, a true sense of national unity,” he recalled. “Unity and resilience  – the capacity to recover and repair in the face of trauma, unity in service.”

Biden released his pre-recorded video, as the White House confirmed Friday he had no plans to address the nation on the 20th anniversary of the attacks.

He began by recalling a friend of his who lost their son in the attacks in New York City and sympathized with the families who lost loved ones in the attacks….

Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib Mark 9/11 With Resolution Claiming Muslims Were the Real Victims

If there was one day of the year where the most loathsome members of the Squad should summon up some lingering decency and shut up, it would be this one. But of course, the terror caucus can never rest and so it had a plan for defiling the September 11 anniversary.

And so Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, along with Pramila Jayapal, introduced a resolution claiming that Muslims were the real victims of September 11 and suffered persecution due to counterterrorism.

The hateful resolution reads in part…

“Whereas there was a climate of hate in which Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Sikh communities experienced bullying and violence in their everyday lives and in their workplaces, businesses, community centers and houses of worship;

Whereas the government targeted Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian and Sikh communities with overreaching policing, surveillance, and criminalization policies that resulted in wrongful interrogation, coercion, detention, deportation, arrest, and incarceration;

Whereas core principles like due process, presumption of innocence, and evidence of wrongdoing were replaced with mob mentality and guilt by association; Whereas the fearmongering and hateful rhetoric witnessed in the aftermath of the attacks remain commonplace today;

Whereas border officials and government authorities cast aside constitutional rights and engaged in discriminatory searches and seizures of Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Sikh community members;

Whereas false narratives about Arabs, Islam and American Muslims abound, and are encouraged and justified by a network of closely connected and well-funded organizations and activists that seek to propagate misinformation about these communities and provide support for policies that curtail their rights;

Whereas the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, as well as human rights violations ranging from torture at Guantanamo Bay to extrajudicial drone strikes, also contributed to this climate of hate and the government targeting of these communities;”

The resolution “acknowledges the climate of hate that Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian and Sikh communities have experienced since September 11, 2001” and “) Calls the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the National Institute of Health, and the National
Science Foundation to work together to study the impact of hate, government targeting, and profiling on physical and mental health.”

Maybe this is why Muslim apologists keep claiming that every Muslim terrorist is suffering from mental illness.

What If We Had Fought World War II the Way We’ve Fought Jihadis?

Imagine what the world might be like today if World War II had been fought the way the defense against the global jihad has been.

Imagine it is December 7, 1961, the twentieth anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, and people have grown weary of the war. President Adlai E. Stevenson (who swept into office promising a return to normal after the tumultuous Eisenhower years) gives what was then something new: a nationally televised address. He looks determinedly into the cameras and says:

My fellow Americans: On this day, as we remember the 2,403 lives taken from us at Pearl Harbor on this fateful day twenty years ago, I am reminded of the fundamental obligation of a President, which is to defend and protect America — not against threats of 1941, but against the threats of 1961 and tomorrow.

Yes, I confess it, I’ve cast poor Adlai here as something of a proto-Biden, for it was the current occupant of the Oval Office who recently said: “The fundamental obligation of a President, in my opinion, is to defend and protect America — not against threats of 2001, but against the threats of 2021 and tomorrow.”

The implication was clear. Jihad? Old Joe wants to say goodbye to all that. The threat of 2021, as he and members of his administration have made clear numerous times, comes from “white supremacists.” Now, you’re forgiven if you haven’t noticed “white supremacists” committing terror attacks around the country (if they did, what would they shout? “Robert Byrd Is Great”?). By “white supremacists,” Biden’s handlers mean the supportive environment that nourished the January 6 “insurrectionists” who weren’t insurrectionists; that is, ordinary, law-abiding Americans who supported Trump over Biden and take a dim view of the nose dive America has taken since Old Joe took office.

So: What if the America of 1961 were dealing with a situation similar to that of America today. Twenty years after a massive attack and still embroiled in a conflict with those who hold the same ideology as the attackers, but with leadership that is anxious to pretend that conflict is over and that a different one is upon us? The fictional President Stevenson might indulge himself with a victory lap:

As Nazi rule has returned to Berlin, I can’t say that I’m pleased as they parade around with $85 billion in American military hardware, or with the fact that Americans are still stranded in Berlin, but I must thank them for the fact that they have shown flexibility, and they have been businesslike and professional in our dealings with them.

Above all, twenty years into this fight, I am proud we have not given in to the temptation to demonize and stigmatize entire nations for the deeds of a few extremists. We have not succumbed to Germanophobia or Nipponophobia. The Germans are not our enemies. The Japanese are not our enemies. We are fighting against a tiny minority that holds to extremist ideologies, ideologies which have unfortunately hijacked the noble traditions of the Shinto religion in Japan and National Socialism in Germany. And we will prevail. But we will prevail hand-in-hand with the Japanese and German moderates who have been the first and most numerous victims of these extremists.

That’s why my administration is in consultations with representatives of the Council on Japanese-American Relations and the Nazi Poverty Law Center, and I have issued a proclamation declaring this twentieth anniversary of that terrible day a Day of Solidarity Against Germanophobia and Nipponophobia. We’ve mourned the loss of innocents on our battlefields in Wyoming and West Virginia, but groups like the Shinto and Nazi extremists know that they will never be able to defeat a nation as great and as strong as America. They’ve tried to stoke enough fear among us that we turn on each other and that we change who we are and how we live. And that’s why it is so important today that we reaffirm our character as a nation, by rejecting all hate and fear. That’s why I’m announcing today a significant increase in humanitarian aid to both Nazi Germany and imperial Japan…

I must apologize to Adlai Stevenson for putting this nonsense into his mouth. Democrats of his day were not quite so spectacularly insane as the current variety. But it really isn’t all that far off the mark. The official response of the United States to 9/11 has been more concerned about avoiding “Islamophobia” than facing the ideological roots of jihad activity realistically. Biden’s handlers really are planning to send aid to the Taliban, even after gifting them with billions in American military hardware.

Wrong analyses make for failed policies, and after thousands of American lives have been lost, and trillions of American dollars have been spent, the nation has essentially nothing to show for all this expenditure but a sharp and continuing loss of American power and prestige. The jihadis who struck the U.S. on September 11, 2001, have made such immense advances since then not because they are strong, or clever, or capable, but because we are weak, short-sighted, and resolute not in fighting them but in maintaining our denial about who they are and what they want, to the extent that we have taken numerous steps not to stop them, but actually to enable them to achieve their goals.

Twenty years after 9/11, the free West is dug in: wholeheartedly committed to denial, willful ignorance, and policies that are self-defeating to the point of suicidal. In light of that, the wonder is not that we are still facing a threat from the people who hit us twenty years ago, but that we have held out so long. Unless the political landscape changes considerably and this denial is decisively rejected and discarded, darker, much darker, days are coming.

President Trump Posts 9/11 Anniversary Address to Nation

On Saturday morning, President Donald Trump shared a message commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

“For the great people of our country this is a very sad day,” Trump began. “September 11 represents great sorrow for our country.”

“Many things were displayed that day, including, most importantly, the bravery of our police, fire, and first responders of every kind. The job they did was truly unbelievable. We love them and we thank them.”

Trump then shifted gears to criticism of Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“It is also a sad time for the way our war on those that did such harm to our country ended last week,” Trump continued. “The loss of 13 great warriors and the many more who were wounded, should never have happened. Overall, two hundred and fifty people were killed in Afghanistan last week, and so many more were seriously injured.”

“We had $85 billion of the finest and most sophisticated military equipment, taken from us without even a shot being fired. The leader of our country was made to look like a fool, and that can never be allowed to happen,” Trump continued. “It was caused by bad planning, incredible weakness, and leaders who truly didn’t understand what was happening. This is the 20th year of this war, and should have been a year of victory and honor, and strength.  Instead, Joe Biden and his inept administration surrendered in defeat. We will live on, but, sadly, our country will be wounded for a long period of time. We will struggle to recover from the embarrassment this incompetence has caused. Do not fear, however, America will be made great again.”

Trump is expected to visit Ground Zero later in the day.

Shameful: George W. Bush Implies Trump Supporters Are Like Jihad Terrorists

BY ROBERT SPENCER

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Speaking at a 9/11 commemoration at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania, former President George W. Bush, who above all people should know better, made a veiled but unmistakable equation of the January 6 incident at the Capitol with the September 11, 2001, jihad terror attacks in New York and Washington.

“The security measures incorporated into our lives are both sources of comfort” – speak for yourself, George – “and reminders of our vulnerability.” That vulnerability was apparently laid bare anew during the January 6 events that the Left has worked so very hard to portray as an unprecedented, life-threatening attack on our “democracy” (it’s actually a republic, folks) as if they cared about that, and our way of life.

Bush continues: “We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within. There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home, but then there’s disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit, and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

If Bush had been talking about Antifa and Black Lives Matter, he would have been right. But he wasn’t. Bush was, in fact, one of the first to jump on the January 6 “insurrection” bandwagon, issuing this statement on the same day:

Laura and I are watching the scenes of mayhem unfolding at the seat of our Nation’s government in disbelief and dismay. It is a sickening and heartbreaking sight. This is how election results are disputed in a banana republic – not our democratic republic. I am appalled by the reckless behavior of some political leaders since the election and by the lack of respect shown today for our institutions, our traditions, and our law enforcement. The violent assault on the Capitol – and disruption of a Constitutionally-mandated meeting of Congress – was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes. Insurrection could do grave damage to our Nation and reputation. In the United States of America, it is the fundamental responsibility of every patriotic citizen to support the rule of law. To those who are disappointed in the results of the election: Our country is more important than the politics of the moment. Let the officials elected by the people fulfill their duties and represent our voices in peace and safety. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

His equating of the 9/11 jihadis with the people who entered the Capitol on January 6 (“their determination to defile national symbols”) is nothing short of monstrous. The jihadis, though he immediately denied it, were exponents of a 1,400-year-long war against the non-Muslim world, with a clearly defined ideology and belief system calling for warfare against and subjugation of non-Muslim states. The January 6 “insurrectionists” were unarmed, killed no one, were not there in service of any ideology, but only to protest against election fraud, and were not part of any coordinated plan (or else you would already have seen some people charged with insurrection and treason; no one has been).

Related: Bad Words and Desperation: Democrats Flail to Keep January 6 Relevant

That Bush, a cosseted member of the establishment since birth, would repeat these lies is insidious, and indicates that the elites haven’t given up their agenda of silencing and criminalizing all opposition to their agenda by claiming it leads to “insurrection.” And he is not alone, of course. “As I stand here tonight,” Old Joe Biden said in early May, “just one day shy of the 100th day of my administration. 100 days since I took the oath of office, lifted my hand off our family Bible, and inherited a nation in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”

The idea that the entry of a group of unarmed people into the U.S. Capitol constituted the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War” was not just ridiculous (remember 9/11? Pearl Harbor?); it was insidious, as insidious as Bush’s remarks on September 11. The silliness and hysteria are in service of an effort to stigmatize, demonize and silence all dissent from their far-left agenda.

Robert Grenier, who served as the CIA station chief for Pakistan and Afghanistan and later as director of the CIA Counterterrorism Center, made it all clear when he declared in February: “You know, even at the seeming height of the crisis immediately after 9/11, there really weren’t that many members of al-Qaida in Afghanistan. And the thrust of our campaign there was, yes, to hunt down al-Qaida, but primarily to remove the supportive environment in which they were able to live and to flourish.”

That “supportive environment” is ordinary, unwoke Americans who don’t want to be overwhelmed by an authoritarian socialist nanny state. They provide the “political and social conditions” that the Left sees as motivating “Trumpist terrorism.” For George W. Bush, they’re “violent extremists at home.” It’s just another blot on his already dismal record.

CAIR’s Islamist 9/11 Opportunism

BY STEVEN EMERSON

SEE: https://www.investigativeproject.org/8989/cair-islamist-9-11-opportunism;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

As we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the horrific 9/11 attacks, the pain endures for the survivors and for the family members of the nearly 3,000 people who perished that day. New York lost hundreds of first responders at the World Trade Center, and 2,500 U.S. soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan. We should be honoring and commemorating all of them on Saturday.

But instead of focusing on the victims, or ensuring that we never forget the Islamist terrorists who carried out this attack, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has been assiduously trying to frame the focus on Muslims being the victims.

CAIR has issued guidelines to the media and to school teachers on what to focus on this 20th anniversary. In one set of guidelines, called "Tips for Teaching Lesson Plans on September 11, 2001," nearly every "tip" ensures that students focus only on "Islamophobia" as the core lesson of 9/11. CAIR warns against using what it labels "inaccurate and inflammatory terms such as 'Islamic terrorists,' 'jihadists,' or 'radical Islamic terrorists'– which would be like warning against the use of the term "Nazis" after World War II as "inflammatory." Is CAIR against the use of the term "white supremacy"? Of course not. But if you cannot name your enemy, then it can't be your enemy. So what better way exists to intimidate educators or analysts by claiming they are "Islamophobic" or "promoting bullying" of Muslim students if they utter the terms "Islamic terrorist" and "jihadist," or if they focus on them as the perpetrators of the 9-11 attacks and so many other terrorist attacks.

CAIR's admonition against the use of the term "Islamic terrorists" also stems from CAIR's unstated ugly self-interest to sanitize the image of radical Islamist front groups, like CAIR itself, a Hamas front group which has in fact spouted reckless, unfounded and pro-Islamist conspiracy theories, not only about the 9-11 attacks but also about nearly all of the dozens and dozens of convictions of Islamic terrorists since the 9-11 attacks. And in this regard, CAIR's willing collaborators have included many in the mainstream media—from PBS to the Washington Post to the New York Times—which have dutifully carried out CAIR's dirty work in falsely claiming illegal convictions of some Islamic terrorists, despite the cases having been upheld on appeal, many all the way to the Supreme Court.

This strategy comes straight out of the Islamist playbook. From Hassan al Banna to Osama bin Laden to the current leaders of Iran, Hamas, Hizballah, and now the Taliban have asserted they are the true victims. The Islamists have claimed their terrorist attacks are only responses to Western, Christian, and Jewish aggression. And their front groups here in the West, like CAIR, have echoed the Islamist inversion of reality by sanitizing our lexicon while claiming the same victimhood mentality and spinning conspiracy tales that have seeped into the American elite's bloodstream.

And in CAIR's tips for educators is another recommendation to "include information about the Muslim responses to the 9/11 attacks, such as the widespread condemnations of the attacks by American Muslim leaders." CAIR constantly claims it has condemned the 9-11 attacks, yet in the days and years following the 9/11 attacks, top CAIR officials maintained that Osama bin Laden and Islamist terrorists did NOT carry out the attacks. Rather, they promoted outrageous conspiracy theories which – of course – included accusing Israel.

It was 48 hours after the 9/11 attacks when American government officials began briefing the media and the public that the hijackers were Islamist terrorists belonging to bin Laden's al-Qaida terrorist group. By September 13, the New York Times was already reporting on some of the dead Muslim hijackers linked to Osama bin Laden including Mohammed Atta.

Yet on Sept. 14, 2001, CAIR's New York chapter issued a statement, "Muslims Condemn Attacks Against Civilians: Forbidden in Islam." But it would not acknowledge, let alone condemn, the perpetrators. Rather it cast doubt on all the reports that bin Laden's terrorists were responsible.

"If such attacks were carried out by a Muslim – as some biased groups claim – then we, in the name of our religion, deny the act and incriminate the perpetrator." And for good measure, the statement included a typical blood libel against Israel, referring to the "tyrannical Jewish entity who raze the Palestinian homes to the ground, set fire to their tilt, kill them in cold blood, and leave innocent orphans wailing behind."

On Oct. 5, 2001, three weeks after the 9/11 attacks when it was unambiguously known and clear to the world that bin Laden had carried out the attacks, CAIR-NY distributed a petition/letter to the New York Times entitled, "True Muslims Cannot Commit Suicide Nor Kill Innocent Civilians That Is Why Recognized Muslims Are Not Part Of The WTC Tragic Attack."

CAIR was protesting a Sept. 23 Times story about the 19 dead Muslim hijackers. Its letter claimed that "[t]wo of the 19 suspects: Abdulaziz Alomari and Saeed Alghamdi could not have been on the hijacked planes because they are still alive and are working in Saudi Arabia." This was an early and quickly refuted conspiracy theory, but CAIR officials jumped on it.

They also echoed claims that the ringleader, Mohammed Atta, was still alive. CAIR ended its letter with conspiratorial questions that alleged – and this is really an insult to the victims as well as to the American people – that unknown people were "impersonating" the terrorists.

"If three of the 19 suspected "hijackers" are still alive, who were the other 16?" CAIR wrote. "The important questions are: Who is impersonating these three Muslim Arabs? Why are Muslim Arabs been implicated in this terrorism? And, who could 'benefit' from this horrific tragedy?"

That was CAIR, the self-anointed "Muslim civil rights" group, which in fact would later be designated an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation's Hamas money-laundering prosecution.

CAIR was created in 1994 by Awad and Omar Ahmad, who were listed as members of the Muslim Brotherhood's "Palestine Committee." Internal records seized by the FBI show that the Muslim Brotherhood established the committee to support Hamas "with what it needs of media, money, men and all of that." Other internal documents placed CAIR among the Palestine Committee's branches.

In 2001, CAIR's campaign to convince people that, despite the evidence, Islamists were not to blame for 9/11, continued.

At an Oct. 7, 2001 fundraising event in Virginia, guest speaker Ghazi Khankan, then the head of CAIR's New York chapter, repeated the totally discredited conspiracy theory about the hijackers being impersonators in language that echoed the Times letter:

"Why is it assumed that Muslims were behind the attack on Sept. 11? We know for sure at least three – Alghamdi, Alomari and Atta – whose name appear as part of the 19 hijackers ... are still alive in the Middle East," Khankan said. "The question is, who is impersonating these Muslim names? Who benefits from assuming that Muslims are behind this tragedy, and who benefits from this tragedy? I think the media should seriously go and investigate these three and find out if they are really the three hijackers, or someone else is impersonating them."

CAIR's spin continued even after bin Laden was seen in December 2001 on video released by the Pentagon. Bin Laden, an engineer, said even he was surprised to see the Twin Towers fall. "Due to my experience in this field," he said, "I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for."

But seven months later, Awad gave an interview on July 1, 2002, to El Osboa, an Egyptian newspaper, in which he was asked if the Mossad was responsible for 9/11. Read the exchange, especially Awad's last response, which was translated from Arabic multiple times:

Q: "It is not ruled out that Mossad orchestrated the Sept. 11th events?

A: (Awad) It is not my specialty or job to speculate.

Q: My belief [that Israel is responsible for 9/11] is based on the fact that the beneficiary is the one that could be behind this operation, Israel, of course, benefited greatly from the events of September 11, as evidenced by its widespread exploitation.

A: (Awad): There are theories leading in this direction. During my meeting with President Bush, and my conversation with him after the September events last year, I told him that there are sayings in the region that think what happened cannot be done by Muslims or by Arabs due to the sophistication and intensity of planning and professionalism of execution...."

So instead of stating that bin Laden was responsible, Awad let stand the anti-Semitic conspiracy that Israel was. Awad also seems to make a racist comment about Arabs and Muslims that should not go unnoticed. "Muslims or Arabs" could not have carried out the attack, he said, "due to the sophistication and intensity of planning and professionalism of execution..."

More than a year later after this interview, on Sept. 7, 2003, Awad appeared at a CAIR fundraiser in New York that featured the former British journalist, Yvonne Ridley, who had been kidnapped by the Taliban and before being released, had converted to Islam.

Ridley quoted a recent conspiracy article in the left-wing Guardian that argued President Bush deliberately allowed the 9/11 attacks to occur.

The author "believe[d] it was the U.S. desire for full-spectrum dominance that was built around securing by force a command over the oil supplies."

Ridley also claimed, "that at least 11 countries gave the U.S. advance warning that something big and awful was going to happen."

Awad, the head of CAIR, spoke after Ridley. Instead of disavowing her dangerous nonsense, he tacitly endorsed her entire conspiracy: "Also, having listened to Sister Yvonne, there are many theories of course about 9/11. And there are many unanswered questions, and we always ask for answers, but also CAIR's position on the issue is it happened here in America, Muslims have condemned it without reservation..."

There were no serious unanswered questions in 2003 about who was responsible for the attack unless you were as consumed with radical Islamist conspiracies as Ridley or Ghazi Khankan.

But this kind of deflection was nothing new for Awad. He was a contributing editor for the Muslim World Monitor in 1993 when the World Trade Center was bombed for the first time. The Monitor was the English publication of the Islamic Association for Palestine, the Palestine Committee's propaganda arm.

In the June 4, 1993 edition, the main editorial questioned the arrests of those connected to the February 1993 WTC bombing. It claimed the bombing was not carried out by Islamist terrorists, and that it suspected that "the Mossad played a role in the blast."

After the suspects were convicted, the March 31, 1994 edition of the Monitor, with Awad still listed on the masthead as "contributing editor," called the verdicts a "travesty of justice.... [that] represents the degree to which anti-Muslim venom has penetrated society."

It claimed that both "the Mossad and Egyptian intelligence played a role in the explosion."

With that background, CAIR's legacy of embracing 9/11 conspiracies seems consistent.

Four years after the 9/11 attacks, CAIR officials were still promoting unfounded conspiracies. At an Aug. 18, 2005 event, CAIR's San Diego chapter hosted a local attorney named Randall Hamud. In the question and answer session that followed his comments, Hamud was asked about "enemies of Islam" fabricating the evidence of the 9/11 terrorists.

Q: "One strategy that enemies of Islam are successful at and that's putting Muslims on the defensive. There's still no evidence that Muslims carried out 9/11."

A: (Hamud): "Well, there is that point of view. I understand what you're saying. A lot of people don't think there were any Muslims involved in it at all. And maybe 100 years from now, we'll find that out."

In further responses, Hamud let loose with more conspiratorial accusations.

"Maybe it was a plot against Islam. Who knows? Who knows? You actually had plenty of notice that this was going to be a problem and they did nothing about it until tragically when all those people had to die in 9/11. And we've all been paying a price since then ... It was a preventable moment in the sense that apparently they think Muslims did it. Apparently, they're blaming Islam for it..."

CAIR has never renounced or apologized to the families of those killed for its promotion of outrageous 9-11 conspiracies that were designed to make the US or Israel responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans on September 11, 2001, rather than the Islamic terrorists who carried out this mass murder. With the mainstream media willing to give CAIR not only a free pass on this claim but also willing to endorse CAIR's inverted reality of victimhood, it's no wonder CAIR has gotten away, figuratively, with murder.

But in a larger sense, CAIR's actions are emblematic of the much larger problem affecting today's elite educational unions, media, publishing industry, academia, Hollywood, and political elites which have, in the span of 20 years, embraced the Islamist inversion of reality. But the vast majority of Americans, including American Muslims, will never forget who the real victims were and who their murderers were as well.

September 11, 2021: Twenty Years of Failure

Why we’re losing.

On Friday, September 10, 2021, the Philadelphia chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is presenting a panel discussion entitled “Remember Pearl Harbor to Never Forget 9/11: Teaching Japanese American and Muslim American Histories.” There in a nutshell is much of what has gone wrong in our nation’s response to the 9/11 jihad attacks, and why we are so drastically on the wrong path now.

The CAIR panel is as noteworthy for what it is not about than for what it is about. It is not about the victims of 9/11, the lives lost, the lives destroyed, the magnitude of human suffering that was inflicted. It is most certainly not about the ongoing global jihad: a useful panel could be held on groups that still exist around the world that hold to the same belief system, ideology and goals that the 9/11 plotters and hijackers held, and which are an ongoing threat to Americans and to all free people. Hamas-linked CAIR is never going to hold such a panel, and neither is anyone else.

Instead, CAIR, predictably enough, focuses on the people who hold the same beliefs as the jihad attackers of 9/11 and have, CAIR claims, been victimized and discriminated against in the United States as a result. Statistically speaking, such claims are wildly exaggerated. FBI hate crime statistics show that anti-Semitic hate crimes are far more common than attacks on Muslims, which actually dropped 42% in the last year. No hate crime is justified, but the idea that Muslims are living in fear of MAGA-hat-wearing redneck vigilantes in America is Leftist fantasy.

Nonetheless, that is not just the focus of this unsavory Hamas-linked group, but of the establishment media as well. The Los Angeles Times on Friday published a lengthy weeper entitled “Muslim youth in America: A generation shadowed by the aftermath of 9/11,” all about how some people say rude things to innocent Muslims just because some people did something way back two decades ago. The article begins: “On a rainy day during her sophomore year of high school, as Aissata Ba studied in the library, a photo popped into her phone. It showed a beheading by Islamic State militants, along with a caption in red letters: ‘Go back to your country.’” In the big bad, “Islamophobic” USA, the perpetrator of this horror got off scot-free: “Ba reported the incident. Administrators never tracked down the person who sent it.”

The Times explained how Muslims are the true victims of the 9/11 attacks: “Asked when they thought such incidents became common, the Ba family didn’t hesitate. ‘It started with 9/11,’ said Ba’s mom, Zeinebou, who immigrated to Chicago in 1999. That day in 2001 caused a chain of tragedies — for the nearly 3,000 people who perished during the attacks in New York, at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania; for the young men and women who died serving their country in the wars that followed; and for Muslims, and those perceived as Muslim, who became targets of hate.”

It would be much easier to sympathize with all this if not for the fact that since 9/11, CAIR and its allied groups, with eager help from the establishment media, have insisted that any honest investigation of the motivating ideology behind the attacks, and jihad terror in general, constituted “hate.” Then there are the numerous fake anti-Muslim hate crimes, fabricated apparently in order to buttress the claim that Muslims are uniquely harassed and victimized in the United States. The facts don’t bear out this claim.

The LA Times was not alone, of course. The Associated Press came out with its own Muslims-Are-Victims 9/11 story on Tuesday: “Two decades after 9/11, Muslim Americans still fighting bias.” It opened with another unsubstantiated anecdote that, as all such anecdotes do, revealed more than it intended: “A car passed, the driver’s window rolled down and the man spat an epithet at two little girls wearing their hijabs: ‘Terrorist!’ It was 2001, mere weeks after the twin towers at the World Trade Center fell, and 10-year-old Shahana Hanif and her younger sister were walking to the local mosque from their Brooklyn home. Unsure, afraid, the girls ran. As the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks approaches, Hanif can still recall the shock of the moment, her confusion over how anyone could look at her, a child, and see a threat. ‘It’s not a nice, kind word. It means violence, it means dangerous. It is meant to shock whoever … is on the receiving end of it,’ she says.”

If that really happened, it’s a shame, but the fact that both the LA Times and AP had to lead with stories of people saying rude things to Muslims unwittingly reveals that they didn’t have anything worse to head up their stories: no stories of Muslims being attacked, of mosques being burnt down, of laws targeting Muslims in the United States and denying them basic rights. Nor should there be such stories. But the fact that there aren’t any gives the lie to the entire establishment narrative.

Meanwhile, SiriusXM host and frequent CNN contributor Dean Obeidallah wrote at CNN on Monday: “On September 10, 2001, I went to sleep a White guy. On September 11, I woke up an Arab.” This happened, you see, because after 9/11, people began to regard poor Dean as a member of a group that he says has been “demonized and hated by many of our fellow Americans — simply because we shared the same ethnic background, and in some cases religion, as the 9/11 terrorists.” The irony of his writing this for one of the world’s foremost media outlets, which frequently showcases his work, appears to have been lost on him.

The reality is much different from what these stories suggest. Newsweek recently noted that “as the 20th anniversary of September 11 approaches, the recent rise of many Muslim Americans to positions of power and influence—in Washington and in statehouses, on big screens and small ones, across playing fields and news desks—is a development that few in the U.S. would have predicted two decades ago, Muslims included.”

Meanwhile, opponents of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women have genuinely experienced the marginalization that Obeidallah claims to have suffered. They have been defamed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, targeted by the social media giants’ Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, and shunned by the establishment media.

In all this I haven’t even mentioned the misbegotten misadventures in Iraq and Afghanistan, or the U.S. government’s adamantine determination to ignore and deny the ideological wellsprings of the global jihad. But it all works together: the lesson most Americans will be told on Saturday is that twenty years ago, some “extremists,” akin to the January 6 “insurrectionists,” hijacked the peaceful religion of Islam, and since then Muslims have been victimized. The moral of the story? We must end all remaining counterterror measures directed at stopping jihadis. They’re “Islamophobic,” and the real problem is “white supremacists,” anyway. What could possibly go wrong? Go back to sleep.

Four Taliban members Obama traded for deserter Bergdahl are in the new Afghan government

Really, what did anyone expect?

“Four Taliban members swapped for Bowe Bergdahl now in Afghan government,” by Samuel Chamberlain, New York Post, September 7, 2021:

Four of the five Taliban members released from Guantanamo Bay by the Obama administration in 2014 in exchange for admitted US Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl are part of the Islamic fundamentalist group’s new hardline government in Afghanistan, according to local media reports.

The four members of the so-called “Taliban Five” who have joined the new government are Acting Director of Intelligence Abdul Haq Wasiq, Acting Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs Norullah Noori, Deputy Defense Minister Mohammad Fazl, and Acting Minister of Information and Culture Khairullah Khairkhah. The fifth member of the Taliban Five, Mohammad Nabi Omari, was appointed governor of eastern Khost Province last month.

Afghan outlet TOLOnews published a list Tuesday of members of the new “caretaker” government, which features several familiar faces who helped run the war-torn country between 1996 and 2001 — when the Taliban were forced from power by US-led NATO forces following the 9/11 attacks.

Wasiq, Fazl, and Khairkhah all held positions in the former Taliban government — Wasiq as a deputy intelligence chief, Fazl as army chief of staff, and Khairkhah as interior minister.

According to assessments written in 2008 by leadership at Guantanamo Bay and later made public by Wikileaks, Wasiq “utilized his office to support [Al Qaeda] and to assist Taliban personnel elude capture” and “was central to the Taliban’s efforts to form alliances with other Islamic fundamentalist groups to fight alongside the Taliban against U.S. and Coalition forces” in the early days of the Afghanistan war.

The same assessments said that Fazl was alleged to have had “operational associations with significant al Qaeda and other extremist personnel.”

Fazl and Noori, who was governor of two northern Afghan provinces during the earlier Taliban regime, are also accused of ordering the massacres of ethnic Hazara, Tajik, and Uzbek communities in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif in 1998.

Khairkhah, who helped found the Taliban in 1994, allegedly took part in “meetings with Iranian officials seeking to support hostilities against U.S. and Coalition Forces” following the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, according to the 2008 assessments. He also was the governor of western Herat province between 1999 and 2001 and was known as “one of the major opium drug lords in western Afghanistan,” US military leadership found.

Despite the assessments recommending “continued detention” for the five, then-President Barack Obama signed off on an agreement that sprung the men from Gitmo in exchange for the release of Bergdahl, who had been taken captive by the Taliban after walking away from an observation post in Paktika Province in June 2009.

“The United States of America does not ever leave our men and women in uniform behind,” Obama said at a Rose Garden ceremony announcing Bergdahl’s release on May 31, 2014.

As Bergdhal returned to the United States, the Taliban Five were flown to Qatar, where much of the Taliban’s political leadership resided at the time. Among those aghast by the price paid for Bergdahl’s return was then Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who told CBS’ “Face The Nation” that the Taliban Five were “the hardest of the hard core” and “the highest high-risk people.”

In 2015, Bergdahl was charged by the military with desertion with intent to shirk important or hazardous duty and one count of misbehavior before the enemy by endangering the safety of his fellow soldiers. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, a reduction in rank and a fine. Bergdahl has since appealed to federal court in a bid to get his conviction overturned.

The new Taliban government also features Acting Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is on the FBI’s most-wanted list with a $5 million bounty on his head and is believed to still be holding at least one American hostage. He headed the feared Haqqani network that is blamed for many deadly attacks and kidnappings….

Finally, Trial Begins of 9/11 Attack Masterminds

BY ROBERT SPENCER

Just days before the 20th anniversary of their murderous handiwork, a military tribunal in Guantánamo Bay on Tuesday resumed the much-interrupted and multiple postponed trial of five masterminds of the 9/11 jihad attacks: Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Walid bin Attash, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Ammar al-Baluchi, and Mustafa al Hawsawi. It’s understandable if you thought these men had been tried, convicted, and sentenced long ago; after all, it has been two decades since their crime. What has taken so long?

The trial was supposed to begin, finally, on January 11 of this year, but last September it was announced that it was once again being postponed, this time, predictably enough, because of covid. Yet as Newsweek reported Tuesday, “Despite the reading being presented over nine years ago, the case has not moved past the pretrial phase, facing a number of delays over the years.

But the main reason why has it taken nearly twenty years for these jihadis to face justice is because of one man: Barack Hussein Obama. According to Newsweek, “The men were formally charges [sic] in June of 2008. By that time, former President Barack Obama was close to taking office, having come off a campaign during which he promised to close Guantánamo. That led to a temporary suspension of the trial.”

After that, Obama’s self-described “wingman,” then-Attorney General Eric Holder, “decided that the trial should be in New York but was met with strong opposition.” This was based on the assumption that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the others were defendants in what was essentially an ordinary criminal case, rather than combatants involved in planning an act of war against the United States; the Obama administration was in the process of denying, on an institutional basis, that there even was such a thing as a global jihad.

Trying these men in civilian court would have been a continuation of the U.S. government policy of treating jihadis as if they were individual criminals, rather than soldiers in a larger war effort. The U.S. government has been extremely reluctant to admit that such a war exists, and so their policy has been to try jihadis in civilian courts.

If the U.S. had had this policy in 1943, it never would have admitted that it was at war with Germany, and would have tried every captured German soldier as if he were a criminal who had broken the law as a “lone wolf,” separately from all the others who did the same thing, and with no mention of the Nazi ideology that underlay it all. If the Allies had approached World War II the way the West has dealt with the jihad threat since 9/11, newspapers would have been filled with accounts of how masses of armed Germans had swarmed into Warsaw and Paris and Amsterdam and the rest, while authorities were trying to determine the motive of each one.

A trial in New York would also have given Mohammed, a skilled propagandist, and the others an international soapbox. Congress came to the rescue at that time, passing legislation “forbidding federal trials for Guantánamo prisoners, leading to new charges presented during their arraignment on May 5, 2012.” Still the delays continued. In August 2019, the Daily Mail reported that the announcement of the January 11 date was “the first time that a trial judge in the case actually established a date. Prosecutors had tried to get the ball rolling with two previous judges after the 2012 arraignment.”

All this has been happening despite the fact that years ago, Mohammed and the others for all intents and purposes admitted their role in the 9/11 jihad attacks, penning a lengthy Islamic defense for their actions in which they never denied plotting the hijacking of planes in order to commit mass murder of American civilians, but justified their actions by claiming that the U.S. was the greater terrorist. They signed the document “the 9/11 Shura Council.”

This was not a document obtained under torture, but a closely reasoned explanation of why the 9/11 attacks were justified from the standpoint of Islamic doctrine and belief.

Nevertheless, according to the Daily Mail, “the case was also delayed when President Barack Obama suspended the war court, in an attempt to add more protections for due process.”

How was due process ever under threat? These men signed their names to a document that essentially admitted their complicity in planning the attacks. But that apparently cut no ice with our sainted former president, whose only sin, our Leftist moral superiors hasten to assure us, was once wearing a tan suit.

And so now twenty years have passed between the jihad massacres these men perpetrated and their trial. This epitomizes the unwillingness of American officials, even today, to come to grips fully with what happened on September 11, 2001, and to formulate a coherent and realistic response to the global jihad threat that continues to plague the world so many years after that catastrophic day.

Mainstream Media: Muslims True Victims of 9/11 Attacks

Saturday marks twenty years since Islamic jihadis attacked New York City and Washington, and the establishment media is doing all it can to ensure that Americans grasp the true significance of those attacks: not that America was hit by a global jihad that has only gained in strength since then and could hit us again, but that Muslims were and are the true victims of that fateful day. In the last few days, the Los Angeles Times and the Associated Press have published lengthy pieces to that effect, and more in this vein is certain to come this week.

The LA Times on Friday published a lengthy weeper entitled “Muslim youth in America: A generation shadowed by the aftermath of 9/11,” all about how some people say rude things to innocent Muslims just because some people did something way back two decades ago.

Then there was “the boy in sixth grade who would say ‘allahu Akbar,’ Arabic for ‘God is great,’ and throw his backpack near her, pretending it was a bomb.” Actually, “Allahu akbar” means “Allah is greater,” that is, greater than your god; it is a declaration of the superiority of Islam and its victory over other religions, which is why Islamic jihadists so often scream out this phrase while committing acts of violence against unbelievers.

But the Los Angeles Times doesn’t explain any of that; it’s too busy explaining how Muslims are the true victims of the 9/11 attacks: “Asked when they thought such incidents became common, the Ba family didn’t hesitate.

It would be much easier to sympathize with all this if not for the fact that since 9/11, Islamic advocacy groups such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), with eager help from the establishment media, have insisted that any honest investigation of the motivating ideology behind the attacks, and jihad terror in general, constituted “hate.” Then there are the numerous fake anti-Muslim hate crimes, fabricated apparently in order to buttress the claim that Muslims are uniquely harassed and victimized in the United States.

The facts don’t bear out this claim.

Despite these facts, the AP came out with its own Muslims-Are-Victims 9/11 story on Tuesday: “Two decades after 9/11, Muslim Americans still fighting bias.” It opened with another unsubstantiated anecdote that, as all such anecdotes do, revealed more than it intended: “A car passed, the driver’s window rolled down and the man spat an epithet at two little girls wearing their hijabs: ‘Terrorist!’ It was 2001, mere weeks after the twin towers at the World Trade Center fell, and 10-year-old Shahana Hanif and her younger sister were walking to the local mosque from their Brooklyn home. Nor should there be such stories. But the fact that there aren’t any gives the lie to the entire establishment narrative.

The UK’s Guardian, meanwhile, published a story Monday showing where all this is tending: “But while the FBI, CIA, police and the newly created Department of Homeland Security scoured the country and the world for radicalized Muslims, an existing threat was overlooked – white supremacist extremists already in the US, whose numbers and influence have continued to grow in the last two decades.”

Of course. It’s those “white supremacist extremists” we have to really watch out for. No doubt the FBI is still hoping to find some. But as the Taliban seals its takeover of Afghanistan, this downplaying of a real threat in favor of one created for propaganda purposes carries a sting unintended by its authors. Sometime soon, while we’re hunting for “white supremacists” and making sure Muslims aren’t called rude names, we may suddenly be reminded of who the victims of 9/11 really were, in ways that could rival the horror and tragedy of that unforgettable day.

Taliban holding Americans hostage

US President Joe Biden’s plan to speed up the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan weeks ago is still threatening American lives and the lives of people who we promised to protect.

The latest trouble comes from an airport in northern Afghanistan. Americans, Afghan girls, and Afghan interpreters are attempting to flee but have been prevented from leaving the country by the Taliban. Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) said on Fox News Sunday that airplanes are stuck at the Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport with Americans on board. The planes are unable to take off because they had not received clearance from the Taliban.

Per McCaul, along with the Americans,  Afghan interpreters were also on the planes:

“We have six airplanes at Mazar-i-Sharif airport, six airplanes, with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now,” he said on Fox News Sunday morning. “State has cleared these flights, and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport.”

McCaul added that the Taliban “are not clearing the airplanes to depart” and that the people trying to flee have “sat at the airport for the last couple of days,” in part because “the Taliban want something in exchange.”

WAIT FOR A SECOND! How can that be? Wasn’t the word from the Biden Administration that the Taliban were now nice guys who will let everyone leave? President Biden wouldn’t lie to America—just ask the mainstream media, they’ll tell you that.

A video of the McCaul interview is at the bottom of this post.

According to the Washington Examiner.

Ascend, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Afghan teens and young women through mountaineering said it has people on planes forbidden to take off.

Marina LeGree, the founder and executive director of the program, told the Washington Examiner, “We’ve been stuck for 6 days. First, our own State Dept caused a delay and now it’s the Taliban and Kam Air in endless negotiations about price (or so we’re told).”

That makes sense because everything Biden’s far-left administration does is meant to extract a price—not a cash price but a political one. And the ignorant way they handle the evacuation was all to generate love from the progressive wing of his party who wanted it done differently than Trump planned it because “orange man bad.”

Ms.LeGree continued:

My group is mostly Hazara girls aged 16-23,”  “It isn’t safe for them to be held in the large group of anxious people, jostling for space. Gatekeepers are now letting in more and more people to the holding area for a price, and those people are trying to bribe their way onto the manifests. It isn’t at all clear who is in charge, or how this will end.“

The Taliban would love to have those young women to sell as wives and sex slaves.

CBS reporter Christina Ruffini backed up the story and even was allowed to read parts of a State Dept. memo,

Excerpts of an email from the State Department to members of congress viewed by CBS News acknowledged that charter flights are still on the ground at the Mazar-i-Sharif airstrip in northern Afghanistan and have permission to land in Doha “if and when the Taliban agrees to takeoff.”

“The Taliban is basically holding them hostage to get more out of the Americans,” a senior congressional source told CBS News.

(…) three other sources confirmed there are Americans in the area waiting to evacuate through charter flights.

The folks in the State Dept. told CNN, “It didn’t have any information on this specific situation but noted the US no longer has resources in Afghanistan.:

Gee whiz, no resources.  How did that happen? Maybe the spokesman who spoke to CNN can go to the executive suites at Foggy Bottom and ask them.

“We understand the concern that many people are feeling as they try to facilitate further charter and other passage out of Afghanistan. However, we do not have personnel on the ground, we do not have air assets in the country, we do not control the airspace — whether over Afghanistan or elsewhere in the region,” a State Department spokesperson told CNN.

“Given these constraints, we also do not have a reliable means to confirm the basic details of charter flights, including who may be organizing them, the number of U.S. citizens and other priority groups on-board, the accuracy of the rest of the manifest, and where they plan to land, among many other issues,” the spokesperson said.

Ya think?  Is it that the spokesperson is too stupid to understand that Secretary of State Winkin and Blinken, and Nod helped make that decision along with a feeble-minded President, NSA Jake (not Ed) Sullivan, who lied to America about the recent Israel conflict with the terrorist Hamas,, and a Pentagon leadership more concerned about white rage than protecting our country and our troops.

Folks, I have to be honest. This particular white guy is raging. No, I’m not going to commit any violence. That is not the way anyone should handle things. But I am angry as all hell about the Afghan screw-up, be it Biden’s stubbornness to do it any but the way Trump laid it all out for him, the fact that we left weapons behind so the terrorist Taliban is better armed than many of our allies, and that no one in this administration seems to give a flying freak about the promises we broke and the people we left behind.  And they keep feeding America with lies and excuses.

Of course, we have no assets in Afghanistan, and it’s all their fault–not because they pulled out—but HOW they pulled out.

It’s hard to understand how any of these people sleep at night.

Rep. McCaul: Executions Taking Place of Afghans Who Were US Partners

Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, said Sunday executions of Afghans who were U.S. partners are now taking place in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” McCaul, the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said the executions show “this is the same old Taliban.”

“Executions are taking place, we are getting videos coming in, stories and interpreters as being blocked by the Taliban,” he said.

“The retaliation has been severe,” he said. “Stories of interpreters being taken out to their families and watching their wives and families being beheaded, executed before they execute the interpreter. This is not a new and improved Taliban, this is the same old Taliban… reverting back to with the same brutal practices.”

According to McCaul, what’s needed is the ability to “see the threat so that we can respond” and “eliminate it.”

“We don't have that capability anymore and we're going back to pre-9/11 right now but it's worse,” he said. “It's worse because now they are fully armed with our weapons, our helicopters, and pallets of our cash.”

McCaul also lamented that no Americans have been allowed to fly out of Afghanistan since U.S. troops left, saying there were six planes waiting and wouldn’t be cleared, and “the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now.”

“My concern is they are going to demand more and more, whether it be cash or legitimacy as the government of Afghanistan,” he added.

“This is really turning into a hostage situation where they are not going to allow American citizens to leave until they get full recognition from the United States of America,” he said.

China ‘to deepen friendly and cooperative relations’ with the Taliban

Although China has slammed Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan as “ill-planned,” China has embraced the Taliban, saying it “is ready to deepen “friendly and cooperative” relations. China’s hostile castigation of America (and more broadly the West) fliers in the face of its own gross human rights abuses against the Uighur Muslim community.

Of course, Afghanistan is anything but peaceful under the Taliban as they violently impose Sharia law via killing so-called violators of it–and taking disbelieving women as sex slaves in the process(Qur’an 33:50) and murdering women who are without the niqab (Quran 24:31, 33:59).

The alliance between China and the Taliban is one of mutual convenience since Afghanistan’s economy is fragile at best, while China is forever looking for business and political expansion.

The red-green axis (Communism and normative Islam respectively) has reached new heights in the common goal to destroy America and Western democracy, while the woke remain useful idiots.

“China Says Afghanistan Has “Turned New Page” After US Withdrawal,” Agence France-Presse, August 31, 2021:

Beijing: China on Tuesday said the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan after a 20-year conflict signalled the country has “turned a new page”, after Beijing criticised Washington’s chaotic exit.

China has repeatedly slammed what it sees as a hasty and ill-planned US withdrawal and has said it is ready to deepen “friendly and cooperative” relations with the Taliban following their takeover.

The United States completed its military retreat from Afghanistan on Monday, ending its longest war to cries of shame at home and celebratory gunfire in Kabul from the Taliban.

“Afghanistan has been able to free itself of foreign military occupation,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular briefing.

“The Afghan people have ushered in a new beginning for national peace and reconstruction, and Afghanistan has turned a new page.”

China’s embassy in Kabul remains operational, although Beijing began evacuating Chinese citizens from the country months ago as security deteriorated.

But Beijing has not yet recognised the Taliban as the de facto government, and is wary of the terrorist group providing support to Muslim-minority Uyghur separatists looking to infiltrate its sensitive border region of Xinjiang.

“We hope that Afghanistan will form an open, inclusive and broadly representative government… and resolutely crack down on all kinds of terrorist forces,” Wang said.

A top-level Taliban delegation met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Tianjin last month and promised Afghanistan would not be used as a base for terrorists.

For Beijing, a stable and cooperative administration in Kabul would pave the way for an expansion of its overseas infrastructure drive, analysts say.

The Taliban meanwhile may consider China a crucial source of investment and economic support…..

Taliban soldiers going door-to-door executing people, ‘they haven’t stopped killing’

Jihad Watch reported early on in the Taliban takeover that they were going door-to-door, forcibly marrying girls as young as 12, and forcing them into sex slavery.

According to a former Afghan special forces soldier, the brutality hasn’t stopped. He stated that “since the Taliban have come to power they haven’t stopped killing.” Nevertheless, many nations have held meetings with the Taliban, thus legitimizing them.

The lying words of the Taliban have been cunning. A Taliban spokesman “promised the Taliban is ‘committed to the rights of women within the framework of Sharia’ law, and even committed to a ‘free and independent media.’” There are no rights for women and disbelievers “within the framework of Sharia law,” no matter how extensive the lies of Sharia proponents are. Anywhere the Sharia is established, barbarism follows.

The door-to-door executions by the Taliban are an integral part of the establishment of strict Sharia in Afghanistan.

“Taliban soldiers are reportedly going door-to-door and executing people – ‘They haven’t stopped killing,'” by James Morris, Yahoo News UK, September 1, 2021:

After the Taliban seized Afghanistan last month, the militant group made a point of issuing conciliatory words.

On 17 August, spokesman Suhail Shaheen spoke of a “new chapter” in the country, and a desire to provide its people with “prosperous lives”.

Later that day, another Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed at a press conference that anyone who “fought against us” – as well as the interpreters and contractors who supported Allied efforts over the past 20 years – would be pardoned.

He promised the Taliban is “committed to the rights of women within the framework of Sharia” law, and even committed to a “free and independent media”.

Two weeks on, worrying reports are already emerging about the Taliban’s brutal rule in Afghanistan.

A former Afghan special forces soldier claimed to the BBC on Tuesday that 15 of his colleagues have already been killed, forcing him and his family into hiding.

“Since the Taliban have come to power they haven’t stopped killing,” he was quoted as saying….

The Daily Mail has reported that armed Taliban soldiers are going door-to-door in search of the “traitors” who helped the British….

The West’s departure from Afghanistan, confirmed last week when US president Joe Biden refused to extend his 31 August evacuation deadline, was put into stark perspective on Tuesday when Fox News reported a US official as saying the Taliban was carrying out door-to-door executions within hours of Biden’s withdrawal….

Biden Surrendered to the Taliban; The GOP Must Not Surrender to Biden~Impeach the president, court martial the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

BY DAVID HOROWITZ & DANIEL GREENFIELD

Only one man lost his job over Afghanistan. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller challenged Biden’s incompetent and spineless Joint Chiefs of Staff to take responsibility for their dereliction of duty that led directly to the catastrophe in Afghanistan. Taking responsibility meant resigning. Biden’s military men immediately smeared him as mentally ill and forced him out of the Marines.

Biden is directly responsible for the worst, most humiliating, most dangerous – yet completely avoidable - defeat in the history of American warfare. He has betrayed the country that elected him and that he is sworn to serve. Yet Biden has shown no remorse and taken no responsibility for the damage he has done. Instead, he has brazenly lied and called his own actions a “success.” As for his allies, he has blamed the Afghan military, the Afghan president and, of course, his adversary Donald Trump for the mess he single-handedly created. Hundreds are already dead and legions of unknown and uncountable others await death from terrorists whom Biden has freed, empowered and armed.

Meanwhile, Biden and the Joint Chiefs are busily covering up their disloyalty and incompetence. They are not going to resign. Biden is not going to fire the generals who should have gone to the wall to oppose his brainless decisions, and resigned when they failed to reverse them. These decisions were so bad that former British prime minister and staunch American ally Tony Blair has called them “imbecilic.” No former head of state has ever used such an extreme – but accurate – term to describe the decisions of an American president.

The Taliban held a victory parade to display the American military equipment that Biden simply abandoned and left for them to take. These weapons include Black Hawk helicopters, 2,000 armored vehicles, and 600,000 state-of-the-art assault rifles. Enough to arm multiple terrorist groups all over the world. There’s no telling how many Americans, Somalis, Syrians, and Israelis these weapons will kill.

Thanks to Biden’s lack of interest in American security and as a consequence of his decisions, the Taliban now control nine air bases including one at Bagram, which we spent hundreds of millions of dollars turning into a state-of-the-art complex. Adjoining Bagram was the country’s largest prison which housed thousands of Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS-K prisoners who have been unleashed to kill more innocents who stand in their way. The nine air bases will now become assets not only for the Taliban, but for China, Iran, Pakistan, and other Taliban allies.

Massive amounts of intel data have also fallen into enemy hands. The Taliban are using hand-held biometric scanners to hunt down and kill former American allies. And the Chinese and other enemy intel officers that go over what we left behind will learn a lot about American methods and neutralize the technical advantages America once had. There were 16,000 night goggles left in Afghanistan. These provided a decisive military advantage to the Afghan government forces allowing them to see at night while the Taliban could not. Now the Taliban and every terrorist group with access to its store of American loot will share that advantage.

An American president and commander-in-chief loyal to his country and its citizens would never have made the decisions that Joe Biden did, which have put every American’s life at risk. A loyal general staff would never have gone along with them. A decent set of leaders would have hung their heads in shame at the result of their decisions, and been grateful that treason is no longer punished by firing squads, and departed political and military life forever.

The first days of Biden’s misbegotten term in office should have warned everyone of what was to come when he began surrendering American interests to our enemies. Thus, the Biden administration scuttled the Trump administration probe into the Chinese lab origins of the coronavirus pandemic. Worse still, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the likely source of the lab leak, has once again become potentially eligible for taxpayer funding.

While President Trump designated China's persecution of Muslims as genocide, Biden squeamishly told CNN, "Culturally, there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow." Genocide is a cultural norm that we are bound to accept.

Biden not only desperately pursued a renewal of the suicidal nuclear deal with Iran, he allowed the Islamic terrorist state to receive at least $1 billion through South Korea. He also ended the campaign against Iran’s Houthi Jihadists in Yemen whose motto is, “Death to America,” and who had fired missiles at the USS Mason.

He signed off on Russia’s pipeline, which dramatically increased Russia’s potential threats to American interests, while eliminating the Keystone XL pipeline at home. The hypocrisy of these mindless decisions showed that environmental concerns were merely a pretext for eliminating America’s pipeline, and undoing a Trump achievement and diminishing American power were what actually motivated the cancelling of the pipeline at home.

America’s enemies read these gifts as proof of America’s weakness under the leadership of an American coward who as Vice President had been the lone vote against killing Osama bin Laden and who had abandoned Iraq to ISIS.

The Taliban knew they had nothing to fear from Biden so they tested him by offering to let America control Kabul. Instead of protecting our withdrawal and exit. Biden declined their offer – an act so suicidal it was itself worthy of impeachment. Biden let the Taliban take Kabul and surround the airport to provide security, with deadly consequences to thirteen American military personnel and unknown numbers of Afghan victims.

Al Qaeda’s allies, the Haqqani Network, controlled the checkpoints and surrounded the airport. American refugees trying to reach the airport were beaten by these terrorist thugs who didn’t let them get to the airport, but opened the door for ISIS-K to come bearing rockets, machine guns, and suicide bomb vests. That’s how the thirteen brave Americans were murdered in Kabul.

And these decisions seemed not to be absent minded mistakes, but calculated and deliberate.

Thus, in advance of the coming evacuation, Secretary of State Antony Blinken scrapped the Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau created by Trump to evacuate Americans. The same Biden Secretary of State invited the terrorist supporting UN to investigate American “systemic racism” while abandoning Americans to the real systemic racism of the Taliban.

The Biden administration is a disloyal government that over and over has genuflected to America’s enemies and betrayed the American people, endangering their lives and the security of the nation. But while the whole Democrat Party goes along with these anti-America policies and the catastrophes they create, instead of holding them to account GOP leaders are playing their usual feckless roles, wasting their opportunity to nail the incompetent and disloyal president, along with his entire rotten administration to the wall.

Thus, House Minority Leader McCarthy has refused to move forward on Biden's impeachment.

McCarthy admitted that the Afghanistan rout was “probably the biggest failure in American government on a military stage in my lifetime.” “Probably”? McCarthy also called for "accountability." But what kind of accountability does he have in mind if he won’t hammer home the horrific actions Biden has taken. And what kind of accountability is he seeking if he won’t move to remove Biden and his enablers from office?

Every Republican should be shouting Impeach Biden! Impeach Harris! Impeach Blinken, Pelosi and Schumer! Also: Court Martial the Joint Chiefs of Staff! who were busy imposing Critical Race Theory on the troops and witch-hunting conservatives in the ranks, when they should have been planning the Afghanistan retreat.

Many Republicans, including their leaders, who don’t understand the political war that Democrats are waging against them, think this is a bad idea. They think: even if Biden could be impeached, that would leave America in the cackling grip of President Kamala Harris. This is the type of thinking that accounts for the passivity of Republicans while Democrats are always fighting an aggressive war against them.

Nancy Pelosi spent four years attempting to impeach Trump on transparently bogus charges. Did this hurt Democrat polling despite its embarrassments, or did it help Democrat efforts to tar and feather Republicans and increase Democrat support? Nancy Pelosi is not going to impeach Biden or anyone else. But the American people need to hear what these Democrats are guilty of and calling for their impeachment is the way to do it. Impeach them betraying the American people, endangering their lives and the lives of their children. This is how Democrats would conduct their political war if the roles were reversed. Republicans need to wake up and take the war to the enemy camp.

Meanwhile, as Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy sleeps American patriots are on the move.

Dozens of flag officers have signed a letter by Flag Officers 4 America calling on Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to resign.

Republican leaders did nothing to protect some of our finest officers, like Lt. Colonel Matt Lohmeier, from being sacrificed on the altar of critical race theory when the incompetent military brass fired them. They did nothing to stand by whistleblowers like Lt. Col. Scheller. Will they re-think the costs of their silence and decide to stand by these officers?

Members of the Freedom Caucus, led by Rep. Clay Higgins, have introduced resolutions calling for Biden, Austin, and Milley to resign. Freedom Caucus members Rep. Norman and Rep. Harris have an impeachment resolution for Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Will McCarthy back these resolutions or continue offering hollow promises of “accountability”?

Where are the GOP leaders willing to fight for them by taking the fight to Biden, to his cronies and stooges, from Kamala Harris to Lloyd Austin, Antony Blinken, and Mark Milley? Lt. Col. Scheller threw away his military career to tell the truth. What’s House Minority Leader McCarthy risking? A few corporate donations? The respect of the D.C. establishment?

Joseph R. Biden is the worst president and the worst human being to ever occupy the White House. His ill will towards the country he leads is written all over his administration – the invasion of millions of unvetted foreigners from 100 countries, many of whom are COVID carrying, sex trafficking, drug dealing criminals. Out of control crime, making the streets of our cities unsafe is also a direct result of Democrat policies and criminal Democrat prosecutors and district attorneys. Bankrupting the economy with a $5 trillion socialist scheme, orchestrated by Bernie Sanders, a life-long supporter of Communist dictatorships, whose intent is to make every American dependent on government and beholden to federal bureaucrats is what the Democrats were working on late into the night in the Capitol as Americans died in Kabul.

Patriots should never forget this, and never let Americans forget as well. Afghanistan is a holograph of America’s future if Democrat policies prevail. It fell because of the treachery of the Democrat Party in selecting a dementia case and judgement-challenged politician to be president. Afghanistan fell because of the lack of patriotic concern by the entire Biden White House and the military chiefs, the lack of concern for the welfare of the people, the first responsibility of those who hold these offices. The military chiefs who are a product of Barack Obama’s politicized military were busily pushing a Marxist ideology on their troops – one that indicts America as a hopelessly racist country, while the Taliban terrorists were preparing their victory march to Kabul.

Americans who love this country need to heed the call to defend it because the hour is late and the nation they love is under attack.

State Department’s ‘Turf Wars’ Over Trump Program ‘Mucked Up’ Evacuation of Americans From Afghanistan

BY STEPHEN GREEN

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Hundreds left behind in Afghanistan by Presidentish Joe Biden’s hasty and ill-planned bugout could have been gotten out, if not for State Department turf wars over the Trump-era Contingency and Crisis Response bureau.

The story you first read about here two weeks ago got an added boost from Adam Ciralsky’s latest for Vanity Fair.

Planned as a major upgrade to the Obama-era Operational Medicine (OpMed), the CCR was quashed so badly by infighting inside Anthony Blinken’s State Department that “OpMed was in limbo” just as the situation in Kabul went Tango Uniform.

Ciralsky described OpMed as “a turnkey solution for overseas operations.” Even as a mere office, William “Doc” Walters’ in-house organization has carried out “daring rescues of U.S. officials, American citizens, and foreign nationals imperiled overseas.”

In his last year as President Donald Trump’s SecState, Mike Pompeo had planned to elevate OpMed to bureau status at the Bureau of Contingency and Crisis Response (CCR).

But then Blinken blinked:

Blinken approved a recommendation against upgrading OpMed into a bureau. A unit distinguished by its ability to blow through bureaucratic wickets would instead be forced to play “Mother May I,” answering to a series of administrators: a director, an acting undersecretary, and on up to the deputy secretary for management and resources (DMR). To outsiders, this might seem like a low-stakes game of Jenga in reverse. But the move, which blindsided many, appeared to have profound consequences.

Walters resigned in protest, telling Blinken, “Sir, you deserve to have leaders who can get behind the decisions you make. I can’t do that. So I’m leaving,” according to Vanity Fair.

As I wrote when the less-detailed version of this story broke on August 19, “Biden didn’t plan for every contingency. He killed our ability to respond to the most likely contingency.”

There is so much blame to go around that I hardly know where to begin.

But the rot does seem deepest at Blinken’s State Department if Ciralsky’s report is anything to go by:

This individual described the decision-making process at Foggy Bottom as being plagued by “pathologic optimism.” But as the days and weeks wore on, several other State Department sources would explain that the problem came down to hubris. Eliminating CCR and degrading OpMed, without clearly defined alternatives, was evidence, they said, of meta-ignorance (known in psychology circles as the Dunning-Kruger effect); America’s diplomats, in the view of these insiders, were ignorant of their own ignorance.

Two very bad things were apparently going on at the very same time earlier this summer.

Our top military brass was going forward with closing Bagram Air Base first, thus eliminating the Pentagon’s ability to deal with the crisis created by Biden’s childish determination to exit Afghanistan completely by an arbitrary deadline.

While the White House and Pentagon were busy creating a military and humanitarian crisis, Blinken’s State Department was busy sidelining the one organization they had on hand to respond to Biden’s bungled bugout.

The cascading symmetrical failures would be something you could laugh at in a Franz Kafka story, except these are the deadly and real-world failures of an administration that was supposed to put the grown-ups back in charge.

Texts Show Chaos: U.S. Military Knew They Were Leaving American Citizens Stranded at the Kabul Airport

On Tuesday, Joe Biden spoke to the country, bizarrely claiming the chaotic evacuation from Afghanistan was an “extraordinary success.”

But in text messages between private citizens and U.S. military commanders seen by Just The News, Biden’s rosy picture of the evacuation bears no resemblance to reality.

These text messages reveal that “pleading American citizens were frantically left behind at the Kabul airport gate this past weekend to face an uncertain fate under Taliban rule while U.S. officials sought to spread the blame between high-ranking generals and the State Department,” according to the report.

“We are f—ing abandoning American citizens,” one text written by an Army colonel assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division said. The Army colonel detailed a failed effort to evacuate a group of American citizens hours before our troops left the country for good.

The messages were provided by war correspondent Michael Yon, a former special forces soldier who was on the ground helping to rescue stranded Americans.

Yon told Just The News that a group of Americans was abandoned at the Kabul airport as the U.S. military finished their last evacuation.

Recommended: Is Biden Fudging the Numbers on Americans Left Behind in Afghanistan?

“We had them out there waving their passport screaming, ‘I’m American,'” Yon told JTN’s John Solomon on his podcast. “People were turned away from the gate by our own Army.”

“You guys left American citizens at the gate of the Kabul airport,” Yon wrote Tuesday to an Army major whose team had abandoned a rescue attempt. “Three empty jets paid for by volunteers were waiting for them. You and I talked on the phone. I told you where they were. Gave you their passport images. And my email and phone number. And you left them behind.”

“Great job saving yourselves,” Yon added. “Probably get a lot of medals.”

Yon’s account is backed up by three dozen text and email exchanges with various military officials in Afghanistan.

Despite these reports of desperate American citizens wanting to leave but were turned away to meet the deadline he set, Biden said that only 100-200 Americans remain in the country and seemed to suggest they were responsible for their being left behind when he claimed that “most of those who remain are dual citizens, long-time residents who had earlier decided to stay because of their family roots in Afghanistan.”

However, some U.S. officials estimated last week that over 5,000 American citizens would be left behind.

Joe Biden said on Tuesday that “There is no… evacuation from the end of a war that you can run without the kinds of complexities, challenges, and threats we faced.”
