Florida – -(AmmoLand.com)- Florida’s Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday that he wants to create the Florida State Guard – a 200-member volunteer paramilitary force that he would control – not Joe Biden – which would assist the Florida National Guard in state-specific emergencies.

According to a press release, DeSantis wants to spend more than $100 million to beef up the Florida National Guard, and $3.5 million to create the new Florida State Guard.

“The establishment of the Florida State Guard will further support those emergency response efforts in the event of a hurricane, natural disasters, and other state emergencies. The $3.5 million to establish the Florida State Guard will enable civilians to be trained in the best emergency response techniques. By establishing the Florida State Guard, Florida will become the 23rd state with a state guard recognized by the federal government,” the press release states.

More than 20 states already have similar state paramilitary forces, many of which were formed as state militias during the 18th Century.

The move comes as tension is brewing between DeSantis and Biden.

During a press conference, DeSantis noted that the Florida State Guard would “not be encumbered by the federal government,” and that the unit would give him “the flexibility and the ability needed to respond to events in our state in the most effective way possible.”

Florida, he pointed out, has always been one of the most military-friendly and veteran-friendly states.

“We are proud of our veterans and active-duty military members and proud of what our communities do to support them,” DeSantis said in the press release. “Florida is one of the most veteran friendly states and I think there are very few places that you would rather be on duty than in the state of Florida. As a veteran, I really appreciate what everyone who wears the uniform does in our state and am excited about these proposals – they will go a long way and have a meaningful impact. In Florida, we are going to continue our momentum of supporting our military, supporting our veterans and being good stewards of our military installations.”

U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, a Democrat who is running for governor in 2022 and may face DeSantis, tweeted, “No Governor should have his own handpicked secret police.” [you mean like the DC Capitol Police?]

Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, another Democrat running to replace DeSantis, tweeted similar concerns.

“Can’t believe I have to say this, but Florida doesn’t need a paramilitary force that only answers to @RonDeSantisFL. Millions of Floridians know what it’s like to live under regimes like this — and came to our state to escape them. This must be stopped,” Fried tweeted.

Australians and visitors to the island who find themselves in Covid quarantine camps are beginning to speak out regarding the poor treatment they are receiving.

For example, an article published by The Guardian on Thursday accused staff at the Northern Territory’s two youth detention centers of leaving children locked in cells for over 23 hours a day.

The report states, “The team also found the young inmates were being denied adequate access to education and medical services due to a lack of staff. Some young people were left in their cells for up to 23 hours and 45 minutes a day awaiting medical assessment for self-harm concerns.”

In another depiction of quarantine camp life, an Australian woman who was forcibly taken to the Northern Territory’s Howard Springs facility filmed a pair of workers threatening to fine her $5,000 for talking to another person through a fence.

“You can’t leave your balcony to go to the fence to talk to somebody else,” a man in full medical PPE told the woman.

The lady filming, 26-year-old Hayley Hodgson, argued that everyone in the camp has already tested negative for Covid which means there is no threat of transmission.

Despite the common-sense argument, camp staff told Hodgson she’d be fined $5,000 if she stepped off her front porch again.

“I’m not here to fight with you, I don’t want to fight with you,” the cowardly staffer muttered.

No wonder five people this week alone have risked $5,000 fines and elongated detentions by escaping Northern Territory camps.

Hayley ended up getting out of the camp after a 14-day detention despite testing negative for Covid three times during her stay.

Staff allegedly offered her Valium at one point to help calm her down.

Hodgson was tossed into a police van and hauled to the camp a few weeks ago after a friend of hers tested positive for Covid and investigators marked her as a close contact after tracking her scooter’s license plate number.

In an interview with Freddie Sayers of UnHerd, Hodgson recalled the moment she was captured.

“So, the police officers blocked my driveway,” she began. “I walked out and I said, ‘what’s going on, are you guys testing me for COVID? What’s happening?’ They said, ‘no, you’re getting taken away. And you have no choice. You’re going to Howard Springs. You either come with us now, and we’ll put you in the back of the divvy van. Or you can have a choice to get a COVID cab.’”

Hayley continued, “I just said, ‘I don’t consent to this. I don’t understand why I can’t just self-isolate at home, like a lot of other people are doing.’ And they just said, ‘we’ve just been told from higher up where to take you. And that’s all that there is.’”

The Australian woman added, “You feel like you’re in prison. You feel like you’ve done something wrong, it’s inhumane what they’re doing. You are so small, they just overpower you. And you’re literally nothing. It’s like ‘you do what we say, or you’re in trouble, we’ll lock you up for longer’. Yeah, they were even threatening me that if I was to do this again, ‘we will extend your time in here.’”

All of this out-of-control government tyranny is taking place in a state with only 290 recorded cases that just recorded its first Covid death on Friday.

(Natural News) New research published in the journal Circulation reveals that Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” trigger systemic inflammation in the body leading to acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and other heart problems.

Researcher Steven R. Gundry and his team used the PULS Cardiac Test, a clinically validated measurement of multiple protein biomarkers that generate a five-year risk prediction for ACS.

“The score is based on changes from the norm of multiple protein biomarkers including IL-16, a proinflammatory cytokine, soluble Fas, an inducer of apoptosis, and Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) which serves as a marker for chemotaxis of T-cells into the epithelium and cardiac tissue, among other markers,” the study explains.

“Elevation above the norm increases the PULS score, while decreases below the norm lowers the PULS score.”

For eight years, Gundry and his colleagues have been measuring PULS scores in their patient population at intervals of every 3-6 months. Generally speaking, they have a pretty solid idea as to the norms and averages.

Those norms and averages changed dramatically, however, once Fauci Flu shots came into the picture. Gundry specifically mentions the mRNA (messenger RNA) injections from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna as dramatically changing PULS scores across the board.

A total of 566 patients between the ages of 28 and 97 had new PULS test scores drawn from 2-10 weeks following their second injection of mRNA. These scores were then compared to those drawn 3-5 months pre-shot. Here is what was discovered:

“Baseline IL-16 increased from 35=/-20 above the norm to 82 =/- 75 above the norm post-vac; sFas increased from 22+/- 15 above the norm to 46=/-24 above the norm post-vac; HGF increased from 42+/-12 above the norm to 86+/-31 above the norm post-vac. These changes resulted in an increase of the PULS score from 11% 5 yr ACS risk to 25% 5 yr ACS risk.”

Get injected, get heart disease

What does this all mean, you might be asking? It means that the risk of ACS increased by more than 227 percent as a result of the injections.

“At the time of this report, these changes persist for at least 2.5 months post the second dose of [vaccine]” the study further explains. “We conclude that the mRNA [vaccines] dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination.”

Dr. Aseem Malhotra also warned about this in a recent appearance on GB News (U.K.).

Dr. Malhotra explained to the host how other scientists have come to similar conclusions, but most of them are too scared to publish their findings due to fear of losing research funding.

In addition to heart disease, “excess non-covid deaths” are also skyrocketing, he further warned – and many of these deaths stem from mysterious circulatory disease, heart attack, and stroke popping up not long after injection.

“There’s been a 30 percent increase in people dying at home, and often these are because of cardiac arrest,” Dr. Malhotra revealed, explaining that his own father falls into this statistic.

“Nuremberg 2.0!” wrote one commenter at Natural News. “All of them – politicians, CEOs, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, administrators, everyone responsible for promoting this genocide on humanity.”

Another posted a meme depicting fake government “doctor” Tony Fauci with bloody hands along with the caption: “My hands are clean in this entire vaccine matter.”

“Researchers need to report the TRUTH because they do not want to contribute to mass murder!” wrote another, calling on those who still have a conscience to be brave and do the right thing.

(Natural News) Just as the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) was being unveiled to the world back in late 2019, a team of researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) conveniently rolled out a new injectable marking method to label, identify and track people based on their “vaccination” status.

Funded in large part by billionaire eugenicists Bill and Melinda Gates, the transdermal patch technology contains special quantum dots that are inserted subcutaneously into the body. Though invisible to the naked eye, these patches are easily scanned with special equipment.

Think of it like an invisible tattoo that a person might inject into, say, the right hand or the forehead. When going to pay for groceries, for instance, these tattoos can be scanned and verified as part of the “vaccine passport” systems that are now being rolled out all around the world.

“When the quantum dots are illuminated by UV light, an electron in the quantum dot can be excited to a state of higher energy,” reported Free West Media.

“In vitro studies, based on cell cultures, on quantum dots suggest that their toxicity may derive from multiple factors including their physicochemical characteristics.”

Soon, the “fully vaccinated” will need to get injected with a Mark of the Beast chip in order to participate in society

According to Kevin McHugh, a member of the research team that developed the technology, these patented transdermal patches are a way to easily label people while also storing their medical and other information on hidden microchips within their skin.

The technology can also be used to rapidly inspect a person’s vaccination history, having been specifically designed for use in “regions where vaccination cards are easily lost and the equipment needed by authorities to read the information encapsulated in the arm is not expensive,” Free West Media further explained.

The latest smartphones reportedly come equipped with the built-in infrared cameras that are needed to capture the presence of invisible quantum dot tattoos – meaning the plandemic purveyors planned for all of this well in advance.

“Because many people do not make sure to get a booster vaccination in time, 1.5 million people could die in these regions every year,” alleges McHugh, using scare tactics to try to justify the technology.

McHugh says that he and his colleagues have long wanted to create a “safe replacement” for paper vaccination records. Their goal was to create a microchip of sorts capable of storing one’s medical records inside their bodies for easy scanning.

“In many third world countries, getting vaccinated regularly is a real challenge,” insists Ana Jaklenec, another MIT researcher who supports the technology.

“Because there is a lack of data on when children were vaccinated against which disease.”

Thus far, the technology has only been tested on animals, specifically rats “vaccinated” against polio. These same rats were given a color code to identify that they had received the injection.

Once these invisible quantum dot tattoos get approved for human use, you can be sure that they will be mandated right alongside the “vaccine” injections in order to achieve “fully vaccinated” status.

Only those people who take the injections and the injectable microchips will be awarded with valid “vaccine passport” certificates, allowing them to buy, sell and participate in society.

As many have predicted, this is all part of the Mark of the Beast, starting with the injections. It is a process that is building over time, and eventually every last person will be required to take all of it in order to live.

Criminal conspiracy unraveling: Pfizer and the government concealed thousands of deaths, mass injuries caused by experimental covid jabs

(Natural News) The same Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that tried to conceal a live, fetal organ trafficking operation, is the same agency that tried to conceal widespread vaccine injury and death from Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine. Under Title 21, sub-chapter F of the FDA’s own regulations, the agency “is to make ‘immediately available’ all documents underlying licensure of a vaccine.”

Instead of following their own regulations and being transparent with the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), the FDA petitioned the courts to withhold all data on Pfizer’s vaccine until 2076. That’s right, the FDA conspired to withhold critical data on the vaccine for 55 years!

At least 30 professors and scientists from Yale, Harvard, UCLA, and Brown are seeking expedited access to the records, calling for greater transparency of the data. Thankfully, a federal judge in Texas ruled that the 329,000 documents from Pfizer must be released at a rate of 500-page-per-month, albeit with redactions. This process of transparency is being forced by a court and will occur at a snail’s pace. Meanwhile, people’s lives are being ruined over vaccine injury and vaccine coercion, as the data is slowly released, the truth painstakingly exposed.

The definition of a “vaccine” had to be completely changed in order to market and license these new mRNA injections. The clinical trials did not use proper diagnostic standards, did not study viral transmission, all-cause mortality, nor compare rates of severe illness. The process also ignored the myriad of health issues imparted by the vaccines, some of which are deliberately life-threatening. The clinical trials relied on positive PCR testing rates (that have been proven fraudulent) and non-specific symptoms of mild illness in a small time period. This is how the vaccine makers came up with their flimsy vaccine efficacy rates, which have fallen into negative territory when real-world vaccine effectiveness is configured.

Pfizer received over 1,200 reports of DEATH from their vaccine in 3 months, but refused to pull it from market

The first 500 Pfizer EUA documents have been released, and now the world knows why this information was set to be concealed until 2076. In the first three months of the vaccine’s rollout, there were voluntary reports of 1,223 deaths and over 42,000 adverse reports spanning a total of 158,893 adverse reactions. One of every 37 reports was DEATH! This data was only from vaccines that were administered between December 1st to February 28. The data was collected from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, and a host of other nations.

Pfizer knew that their vaccine was killing and injuring people at rates never seen before in the history of vaccinology, yet the FDA helped the fully-indemnified pharmaceutical cartel conceal this information and achieve full licensure with their Comirnaty mRNA vaccine. The two entities conspired to withhold critical, life-and-death medical information that is essential for informed consent, and continue to allow dangerous inoculations to cause unprecedented levels of nervous system disorders, cardiovascular events and autoimmune reactions.

Even worse, these unredacted adverse events are just the voluntary reports that Pfizer and the FDA received. The true number of vaccine injuries and deaths that occurred in this three-month time span and thereafter is unknown. In the documents, Pfizer admitted there was no data on the vaccine’s effectiveness or evidence of safety for children and pregnant and lactating women, but the government pushed the vaccine for pregnant women and children anyway. According to the documents, the FDA also knew in advance that the vaccine could sicken and kill patients who were later infected with covid — in what was referred to as “Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease, including Vaccine-associated Enhanced Respiratory Disease.”

This is the greatest criminal conspiracy of the century. Not only should the vaccines be pulled from the market, but ARRESTS must be made.

(Natural News) Government “doctor” Tony Fauci has once again been exposed for torturing and murdering innocent animals as part of his mad scientist experiments.

New documents obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request brought to light a “secret island of monkeys” operation being run by Fauci for the purpose of disease research.

Morgan Island, S.C., is one of the locales where Fauci sends American taxpayer dollars to scientists who conduct “excruciating experiments” on rhesus monkeys.

“The monkeys originating from Morgan Island off the coast of Beaufort in South Carolina are acquired and owned by NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases),” reported Great Game India.

It was Justin Goodman, vice president of advocacy and public policy for the White Coat Waste Project (WCWP), who obtained the documents revealing this horror, which is being bankrolled by American taxpayers without their knowledge.

According to the documents, Fauci’s NIAID spent some $13.5 million on the experiments at Morgan Island, which involved intentionally injecting rhesus monkeys with all kinds of deadly infectious diseases such as Lassa and Ebola.

These disease injections resulted in the monkeys experiencing extreme pain, brain damage, loss of motor control, organ failure, hemorrhaging, and a host of other serious health problems.

Fauci also bankrolled other heinous animal experiments at Charles River Laboratories, which is where beagle dogs were intentionally exposed to sandflies that ate them alive.

Morgan Island, just to clarify, is owned by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, and was being leased at the time to Charles River Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company.

At least 44 beagle dogs were captured and succumbed to this extreme torture, all to fuel whatever projects Fauci had in his mind for creating new bioweapons or “vaccines.”

After the beagles were eaten alive, Fauci-funded scientists dissected their bodies before disposing of the remains.

“In many of these experiments, Fauci and staff intentionally withhold pain relief, even though these are some of the most excruciating experiments in the federal government,” Goodman revealed.

The Federal Budget Database shows that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) “donated” $13.5 million to this operation. Since 2018, the total “donation” amount is said to be as high as $27.5 million.

“NIAID paid $8.9 million of that $13.5 million,” reported Great Game India.

Fauci has been torturing, murdering innocent animals for at least 40 years

Morgan Island first crossed the WCWP’s radar when the team began investigating “fear experiments” being conducted on monkeys at a National Institutes of Health (NIH) laboratory in Bethesda, Md.

Upon closer look, it was discovered that the source of these monkeys was Morgan Island.

“We started triangulating information about that island with the experiments at the labs, and we found that Fauci’s labs are the single largest supporter of that island,” Goodman revealed.

In 2020, there were 3,521 monkeys present on Morgan Island, and 750 more are born and bred there annually. Somewhere between 500 and 600 monkeys were reportedly shipped from Morgan Island to NIH and NIAHD labs.

“It’s very unlikely that Fauci didn’t know about this given the amount of money involved and the fact that these experiments are happening in his own laboratories,” Goodman added.

“These aren’t being contracted somewhere else. They are happening in his own house. If he’s going to get credit for any good he does, he needs to get blamed for any bad that’s happening on his watch as well. The buck stops with him, and he’s certainly responsible.”

The original source of Fauci’s monkeys is said to be the Caribbean Primate Research Center, which started sending them as far back as 1979. According to PubMed.gov, the monkeys reestablished their former social groups after being removed from the Caribbean and transplanted to South Carolina.

What this all means, of course, is that Fauci has been abusing animals for at least the past four decades. And his and the government’s justification for doing it is laughably unscientific.

The claim is that monkeys are very similar to humans, and thus serve as viable experimental mammals. The problem, however, is that nine out of 10 drugs that supposedly pass the test on these animals end up failing in humans.

“Research shows that despite their similarities to us, they are incredibly poor predictors of how vaccines and other drugs are going to act in humans,” Goodman says.

So far, the WCWP has exposed six different experiments just on beagles that Fauci has funded over the years. One of them involved a cordectomy, which is when a dog’s vocal cords are sliced and removed to stop him from barking, howling, or crying during an experiment.

“The reason that the Department of Health and Human Services gives on its website for using beagles is that they are small and docile, meaning they are easy to abuse,” Goodman further explained.

14 California Looters Arrested by Police Have Been Released Due to the State’s Zero Bail Policy

Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore says that “All the suspects taken into custody” following the smash-and-grab robbery of a Nordstrom store during Thanksgiving weekend “are out of custody.” Moore said the looters were freed “as a result of one juvenile, or the others as a result of bailing out or zero-bail criteria.”

Thieves hit 11 Los Angeles area stores that weekend, stealing $338,000 in merchandise. But several of the looters pled poverty and got out, thanks to a California Supreme Court decision that ordered judges in the state to consider a suspect’s ability to pay when setting bail. If you can show you are “indigent” — no visible income or means of support — you get to walk.

The court’s decision came despite California voters’ November 2020 rejection of a proposed end to the state’s cash-bail system, the AP reported.

Since then, the ramifications of “zero bail” have come up in numerous cases.

Earlier this week, officials in San Jose and Santa Clara County slammed the policy, blaming it for the release of two homicide suspects who authorities have linked to a Halloween murder.

One of the suspects is charged with murder, while the other is charged with being an accessory to murder. The shooting stemmed from a road rage incident after the victim collided with several other vehicles. The man charged with murder, Efrain Anzures, claims he fired in self-defense.

Anzures will be confined to home arrest with an ankle monitor while his accessory, Alfred Castillo, was allowed to go free “on his own recognizance.”

The San Jose Police Department also weighed in, saying, “the criminal justice system believes they are fine out of custody without bail,” despite the serious charges against them.

“Yes you read that correctly, two homicide suspects, charged, out of custody,” the department said in a tweet. “Our community deserves better, the victim’s family deserve [sic] better. The taking of someone’s life is the ultimate crime. The system has failed.”

“This is an absolute assault on the safety of San Jose residents,” Sean Pritchard, president of the San Jose Police Officers Association, told Fox News in a statement.

It’s not just accused murderers who are benefitting from this zero-bail policy. One case involved a car-theft suspect being arrested 13 times over 12 weeks.

The police are blaming one of the usual suspects — the ACLU:

Pritchard and other police union leaders are blaming the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for policies it sees as enabling criminals, such as California Proposition 47, which downgrades charges of theft under $950 from felonies to misdemeanors. The voter-approved measure has been blamed by some amid a wave of smash-and-grab burglaries in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Several police unions have sponsored a website called ACLU Watch, which is dedicated to “dedicated to fighting for victim’s rights, accountability for criminals, and exposing those that defend the indefensible.”

You can’t blame this catastrophe entirely on the ACLU. It’s those behind the ACLU who are lighting the match. They may be doing it in the name of “reform” or “transformation,” but the result is blood and chaos in the streets and the unraveling of our society.

The most notorious “transgender clinic” for children in the southwest United States, the GENECIS (GENder Education and Care, Interdisciplinary Support) Clinic at Dallas Children’s Hospital in Dallas announced it is closing and that the hospital will stop giving “transgender” treatments to children. The hospital has taken down the clinic’s web page. (You can see it as it appeared in April 2020 here.)

The hospital announced last month that it will continue to offer “diagnosis, including evaluation of gender dysphoria” for children, but will no longer provide puberty suppression and cross-sex hormone treatments to children.

This a big victory for the pro-family movement. It follows months of intense activism and pressure by Texas MassResistance, and others, on the hospital, the Texas Legislature, and the Governor.

Here are some of the highlights of what happened leading up to the closing:

November 2020: The GENECIS clinic becomes known to pro-family groups due to the infamous James Younger case. A court was allowing the mother of 8-year-old James to begin “transitioning” to a girl against his father’s strong objections. The father was informed that this was to begin at the GENECIS clinic in Dallas, Texas. MassResistance began planning a series of protests. (See our report.)

March 19, 2021: Texas MassResistance activists began protesting at GENECIS clinic. At times, several police cars came to disperse the protesters, but our people refused to leave and the police ultimately backed down and allowed them to stay until they were finished. (See our report.)

Getting the Texas Legislature involved

 Texas MassResistance wanted the “conservative” GOP-controlled Texas Legislature to write into law that child mutilation is illegal and medical malpractice.

Late March 2021: Texas MassResistance activists began lobbying the Legislature to pass a variety of strong pro-family legislation, including a ban on “gender transition” procedures on children. The RINO GOP establishment, which controls the Legislature, was pushing back. But several good bills were filed, nevertheless, including three bills that would protect children from “gender transition” medical treatments. (See our report.)

April 2021: Public hearing on the “gender transition” bans on children. On April 12 and April 14 the Senate and House committees held public hearings on the bills that would protect children from “transgender” mutilation. MassResistance activists and supporters came and gave strong testimony. Not surprisingly, the LGBT lobby and left-wing doctors, aided by large corporations, came in force to lobby in favor of harming children. At one of the hearings the current president of the Texas Psychological Association (TPA) claimed that these treatments were for “suicide prevention.” But a former president of the TPA testified in support of the bills and debunked that claim.

April 26, 2021: MassResistance activists protest at the local offices of so-called “conservative” Republican legislators who were following the orders from the GOP establishment and opposing the proposed protections for children. (See our report.)

May 2021: Texas MassResistance activists step up the pressure at Texas State House to pass a bill protecting children. The focus was on Bill HB 1399, which would prohibit professional liability insurance from covering medical procedures and hormone treatments for gender transitioning or gender reassignment for children.

Late May 2021: GOP establishment kills the bills. Even with all this pressure, Republican Governor Abbott and the GOP legislative leaders worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep those bills from getting a floor vote. On May 31, the session ended without any of them being passed.

Outrage erupts as Texas MassResistance reveals huge GOP donations from transgender lobby

June 2021: MassResistance reveals that GOP leaders had received enormous donations from the transgender lobby. A week before the session ended, the National File website revealed that the GENECIS political action committee had donated tens of thousands of dollars to top GOP state politicians. But that was only the tip of the iceberg. The following week Texas MassResistance’s Tracy Shannon did more research and revealed that since 2015, another Texas transgender political action committee had given $800,000 to Gov. Abbott, $825,000 to Lt. Gov. Patrick, $105,000 to Republican Speaker Phelan, and $200,000 to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. (See our report.)

Parents across the state were livid, and there were loud calls to run primary candidates against all of these GOP sell-outs in the upcoming elections.

August 2021: Governor reacts to outrage. In reaction to the outrage, on Aug. 6 Gov. Abbott sent a request to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services asking for an official opinion on “whether genital mutilation of a child for the purposes of gender transitioning through reassignment surgery constitutes child abuse pursuant to state law.” That is, does the law already cover genital mutilation of children?

Five days later, the department replied to the Governor in a letter stating:

Genital mutilation of a child through reassignment surgery is child abuse, subject to all rules and procedures pertaining to child abuse. Such mutilation may cause a “genuine threat of substantial harm from physical injury to the child.” TEX. FAM. CODE § 261.001(1)(C).

(We have not researched that statute ourselves, but we will take their word for it!)

The GENECIS clinic said it only provides “puberty suppression and hormone replacement treatments” to children and not actual genital mutilation surgery. But they could see where this was leading. This certainly would appear to put the doctors in the GENECIS clinic at legal risk at some point.

October 2021: The outrage spread. According to reports, another Texas parents’ group contacted board members and donors of Dallas Children’s Hospital (and even protested at one board member’s home) demanding that the clinic be shut down.

November 2021: The official announcement was made that the GENECIS clinic is being shut down.

Final thoughts

This is what relentless pro-family activism can accomplish!  Even arrogant high-ranking state politicians can be forced to do the right thing.
