AAPS: FDA DELAYS ON HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE OUTPATIENT APPROVAL ARE CAUSING DEATHS DAILY

The venerable Association of American Physicians and Surgeons is calling on the FDA to immediately release HCQ for outpatient treatment to save thousands of needless deaths from COVID-19. The FDA’s blatant hypocrisy in failing to do sos should outrage all Americans. ⁃ TN Editor

20,000 more Americans have died while the FDA has delayed since July 1 a new emergency use approval for outpatient use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) for COVID-19.

On July, 1 Henry Ford Hospital physicians and researchers in Detroit filed an urgent request to FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn for a new outpatient Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for FDA approval of HCQ to be used in early treatment for COVID-19. Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Institute in Dallas, issued an urgent appeal supporting the Henry Ford EUA application, based on their clinical study of prophylactic use of HCQ in their own medical workers. Baylor cardiologists emphasized there were no adverse cardiac outcomes in their own or the Ford study.

Henry Ford’s new clinical trial found an impressive 51% reduction in deaths if HCQ was begun within 24 hours of admission to hospital. An outpatient primary care study by Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, using HCQ, azithromycin and zinc given within less than 7 days of COVID-19 symptoms, showed approximately 80% decrease in deaths, and less than 1% of his patients needed to be admitted to hospital. These U.S. early intervention studies extraordinary results show how many lives can be saved with early HCQ treatment.

If the FDA had acted quickly on the Henry Ford and Baylor approval request for HCQ, we can reasonably consider that 16,000 lives could have been saved since July 1.

EUA applications do not have to take long to approve, when well documented rationale and supporting research is presented as Henry Ford team and Baylor cardiologists did.

HCQ is already an FDA-approved drug, unlike remdesivir, which had almost an immediate compassionate use authorization granted that has now been expanded for early use despite severe side effects. The former director of the FDA subagency BARDA, Rick Bright, Ph.D., submitted an EUA for HCQ approval for hospital use at 11:30 pm on March 28, 2020. Dr. Hahn’s approval was granted a little after midnight, March 29, 2020. Approval in about 30 minutes.

We have been waiting almost 30 days for Dr. Hahn to issue approval of the Henry Ford EUA application for outpatient use. Dr. Hahn has stated that we need more data. Henry Ford and Baylor doctors have already provided research documentation stronger than in Rick Bright’s March application, and included current COVID-19 studies from the U.S. and other countries. What amount of “data” will ever satisfy Dr. Hahn?

Let THIS sink in: Laboratory studies published by the National Institutes of Health 15 years ago (2005) showed potent antiviral effects of chloroquine against SARS-CoV-1 to block the infection at the earliest stage. Anthony Fauci, who was working at NIH at that time, has to have known for the last 15-18 years that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are effective against SARS-Co-V-1, which shares 79% of the viral genome with SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19 disease.

It is appalling that so many more Americans have died, while the physician who is head of the FDA has dawdled on approving HCQ for an urgent new use in this pandemic. Dr. Hahn knows full well the 65-year track record of safety worldwide in patients of all ages, all ethnic groups, and even pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Doctors who are treating COVID-19 patients see lives being saved by cheap, safe, FDA-approved medicines—hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, doxycycline.

It is crucial to start HCQ early, during days 1-7 of symptoms, for these key reasons:

  • Early treatment is when HCQ works best two ways: to stop viral entry into our cells, and block the virus from multiplying using the cell’s machinery.
  • The viral load explodes by day 6, and then can trigger an exaggerated inflammatory response called Cytokine Storm, which severely damages critical organs: lungs, kidneys, heart, brain, liver and intestines. This severe complication doesn’t occur in all COVID-19 patients, but often is fatal when it does.
  • Early treatment keeps infected people from spreading the virus to others.
  • Early treatment is crucial to keep people out of hospitals and off ventilators.
  • Availability of early treatment is urgently needed to safely re-open businesses, schools, and churches, and help relieve public anxiety and fear.

Front-line doctors have been pleading with the FDA and State officials since March to open access to early treatment with HCQ. The supply of HCQ has been ramped up to handle its use in early treatment of COVID. The Strategic National Stockpile has millions of doses deteriorating in government warehouses that are not being distributed because doctors are prevented from prescribing for outpatients with COVID-19. FDA’s misleading statements about HCQ have led to dangerous, unprecedented restrictions on physicians’ off-label prescribing rights imposed by state governors, medical boards and pharmacy boards.

Generic HCQ with azithromycin or doxycycline plus zinc is taken by mouth.Total treatment cost is about $25-$30 cash price for the 5-7 day course used in COVID-19.

Remdesivir must be given intravenously to patients in hospital, at a cost of about $3,500. Its serious side effects include respiratory failure, the very condition it is supposed to treat. It has shown limited success: it shortened hospital stays by only 4 days and has not been clearly shown to reduce deaths.

Baylor’s study showing prophylactic benefits for hospital workers is profoundly important, not only for front-line medical workers, but also for law enforcement officers, paramedics, clergy, dentists/dental hygienists, truck drivers, food-processing workers, teachers, behavioral health professionals, factory and grocery store workers, flight attendants, and many others.

HCQ is a safe, effective outpatient treatment we have NOW. Physicians and patients need freedom to use it. Delays waiting for the “magic bullet” of a vaccine inevitably mean more deaths. Even IF we have a vaccine that works, we still need therapeutics, such as HCQ.

Testing is inaccurate and often unavailable, and HCQ dispensing must not be limited to persons with a positive test. Such limits also prevent prophylactic use. Governors and other officials must not be allowed to arbitrarily restrict life-saving HCQ treatment.

Continued shutdowns of businesses, schools, churches, and mandatory mask edicts are not controlling the epidemic. Meanwhile, these orders have eroded our constitutional freedoms, and devastated our economic, psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Dr. Hahn’s FDA is costing more lives with its delay in removing the obstructions it created to prescribing safe, effective early HCQ treatment: deaths directly from COVID-19 and indirectly by destroying livelihoods and distributions of foods, goods and services required to sustain our lives.

Dr. Hahn, America needs you to act NOW.

The Great Technocrat War Against Hydroxychloroquine

BY:  STEVEN HATFIL VIA REALCLEARPOLITICS

SEE: https://www.technocracy.news/the-great-technocrat-war-against-hydroxychloroquine/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:
It is Technocrats like Anthony Fauci who originally fomented the war against HCQ and they blocked its use at every turn. All testimony by MDs and scientists supporting HCQ is summarily ridiculed and dismissed.Tens of thousands of people have needlessly died because of these mean-spirited policies by Big Pharma to protect the deployment of their expensive drugs and vaccines. ⁃ TN Editor

On Friday, July 31, in a column ostensibly dealing with health care “misinformation,” Washington Post media critic Margaret Sullivan opened by lambasting “fringe doctors spouting dangerous falsehoods about hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 wonder cure.”

Actually, it was Sullivan who was spouting dangerous falsehoods about this drug, something the Washington Post and much of the rest of the media have been doing for months. On May 15, the Post offered a stark warning to any Americans who may have taken hope in a possible therapy for COVID-19. In the newspaper’s telling, there was nothing unambiguous about the science — or the politics — of hydroxychloroquine: “Drug promoted by Trump as coronavirus game-changer increasingly linked to deaths,” blared the headline. Written by three Post staff writers, the story asserted that the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19 is scant and that the drug is inherently unsafe. This claim is nonsense.

Biased against the use of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 — and the Washington Post is hardly alone — the paper described an April 21, 2020, drug study on U.S. Veterans Affairs patients hospitalized with the illness. It found a high death rate in patients taking the drug hydroxychloroquine. But this was a flawed study with a small sample, the main flaw being that the drug was given to the sickest patients who were already dying because of their age and severe pre-existing conditions. This study was quickly debunked. It had been posted on a non-peer-reviewed medical archive that specifically warns that studies posted on its website should not be reported in the media as established information.

Yet, the Post and countless other news outlets did just the opposite, making repeated claims that hydroxychloroquine was ineffective and caused serious cardiac problems. Nowhere was there any mention of the fact that COVID-19 damages the heart during infection, sometimes causing irregular and sometimes fatal heart rhythms in patients not taking the drug.

To a media unrelentingly hostile to Donald Trump, this meant that the president could be portrayed as recklessly promoting the use of a “dangerous” drug. Ignoring the refutation of the VA study in its May 15 article, the Washington Post cited a Brazil study published on April 24 in which a COVID trial using chloroquine (a related but different drug than hydroxychloroquine) was stopped because 11 patients treated with it died. The reporters never mentioned another problem with that study: The Brazilian doctors were giving their patients lethal cumulative doses of the drug.

On and on it has gone since then, in a circle of self-reinforcing commentary. Following the news that Trump was taking the drug himself, opinion hosts on cable news channels launched continual attacks on both hydroxychloroquine and the president. “This will kill you!” Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto exclaimed. “The president of the United States just acknowledge that he is taking hydroxychloroquine, a drug that [was] meant really to treat malaria and lupus.”

Washington Post reporters Ariana Cha and Laurie McGinley were back again on May 22, with a new article shouting out the new supposed news: “Antimalarial drug touted by President Trump is linked to increased risk of death in coronavirus patients, study says.” The media uproar this time was based on a large study just published in the Lancet. There was just one problem. The Lancet paper was fraudulent and it was quickly retracted.

However, the damage from the biased media storm was done and it was long-lasting. Continuing patient enrollment needed for early-use clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine dried up within a week. Patients were afraid to take the drug, doctors became afraid to prescribe it, pharmacies refused to fill prescriptions, and in a rush of incompetent analysis and non-existent senior leadership, the FDA revoked its Emergency Use Authorization for the drug.

TRUMP WANTS BOSTON MARATHON BOMBER TO GET DEATH PENALTY~DEMOCRATS WANT HIM TO VOTE

My latest in PJ Media:

Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson, an Obama appointee to the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, on Friday overturned the death sentence of Boston Marathon jihad bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. President Trump is unhappy. Early Sunday morning he tweeted: “Death penalty! He killed and badly wounded many. Justice!”

Democrats, in contrast, appear to be fine with Thompson’s decision, as some Democratic leaders are on record saying not only that Tsarnaev should not be put to death, but that he should vote.

As far as Trump is concerned, this is still a live issue despite Thompson’s ruling. On Sunday afternoon he followed up his initial tweet with two more, saying: “Rarely has anybody deserved the death penalty more than the Boston Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The court agreed that this ‘was one of the worst domestic terrorist attacks since the 9/11 atrocities’. Yet the appellate court tossed out the death sentence. So many lives lost and ruined. The Federal Government must again seek the Death Penalty in a do-over of that chapter of the original trial. Our Country cannot let the appellate decision stand. Also, it is ridiculous that this process is taking so long!”

Trump also took this question right to the Democrats, saying after the ruling was announced on Friday: “They protect criminals and Biden opposes the death penalty, even for cop killers and child murderers.” Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a child murderer, as one of his victims in the Marathon bombings was an eight-year-old boy named Martin Richard.

But the Democrats nevertheless want Dzhokhar Tsarnaev alive, well, and voting a straight Democrat ticket. Back in April 2019, Bernie Sanders came out for restoring voting rights for convicted felons. He was asked if he believed that even “terrible people,” including convicted murderers such as Tsarnaev, should have the right to vote. Sanders was unequivocal: “Yes, even for terrible people, because once you start chipping away and you say, ‘Well, that guy committed a terrible crime, not going to let him vote. Well, that person did that. Not going to let that person vote,’ you’re running down a slippery slope.”

Vice Presidential contender Kamala Harris agreed, albeit somewhat more equivocally: “I think we should have that conversation,” she said, adding: “I have long been an advocate of making sure people formerly incarcerated are not denied the right to vote. In some states they’re permanently deprived of the right to vote.”

TURKEY: TOP ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS BODY TELLS WOMEN TO ACCEPT VIOLENCE AT THE HANDS OF THEIR HUSBANDS

Of course. The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should beat those from whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.” — Qur’an 4:34

Muhammad’s child bride, Aisha, says in a hadith that Muhammad “struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: ‘Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you?’” — Sahih Muslim 2127

“Turkey’s top religious body sparks Twitter ire with fatwas on violence against women,” Ahval, July 22, 2020:

Women in Turkey took to Twitter on Wednesday to blast Turkey’s top religious authority over a series of fatwas, in which the Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet) has advised women to accept violence at the hands of their husbands and use discussion to solve their problems.

“If it becomes insufferable, then consult with your elders,” the mufti office of Diyanet in the central province of Konya stated the an Islamic legal announcement, which was in response to an online question on domestic violence.

“Young people nowadays can just end things (quickly). We advise you to consult with senior members of the family to overcome this,’’ it said.

A mufti office in the central province of Çorum advised a woman, who expressed fear that her husband would eventually hit her, against panicking, Deutsche Welle Turkish reported.

“If your husband attempts to hit you, ask him (why) – in an appropriate language. Because this isn’t a very big problem, you can solve it by discussion,’’ the mufti office said. “For example, let’s say you made something he likes for dinner, ask him calmly over tea.’’

“If (he) hits you, don’t react. Remove yourself from the environment and go to your room,’’ another mufti office responded online to a question on domestic violence….

UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO TO REMOVE PRESIDENT MILLARD FILMORE’S NAME FROM CAMPUS BECAUSE OF “SYSTEMIC RACISM”

It isn’t surprising that this ugly little episode in the Left’s ongoing efforts to erase our history and make us ashamed of being Americans would happen at the University at Buffalo, where everything that is wrong with academic life in America today thrives and is praised. I spoke there a few years ago, or tried to. What actually happened was that I was screamed at by self-righteous Leftist fascists for an hour and a half while university security personnel stood by and watched, and made no attempt to do anything to create the basis for a civil discussion. But the University at Buffalo is no outlier. It is all too typical.

My latest at PJ Media:

This will require the renaming of the Millard Fillmore Academic Center, “which contains several academic departments, student dormitories, a theater, and other services,” and which “will now be referred to as simply the Academic Center.”In this case, the mob behind this latest act of historical vandalism is made up of university administrators, who announced that “#UBuffalo will remove the names Millard Fillmore, James O. Putnam and Peter B. Porter from four locations at UB, a decision that aligns with the university’s commitment to fight systemic racism and create a welcoming environment for all.” UB President Satish Tripathi said: “Clearly, historical namings on our campus—whether academic buildings, residential halls, interior spaces or thoroughfares—carry important symbolic value. We want to ensure that these symbols align with our mission—namely, that we are a diverse, inclusive scholarly community.”Tripathi either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about the fact that Fillmore actually said: “God knows that I detest slavery, but it is an existing evil, for which we are not responsible, and we must endure it, till we can get rid of it without destroying the last hope of free government in the world.” Despite this, however, as President of the United States, he signed the Fugitive Slave Act, a law requiring antislavery Northerners to return escaped slaves to their owners in the South.Fillmore did this not because he thought slavery was wonderful, but because he was constrained, as all presidents are, by the political exigencies of the day….

There is an antidote to the Left’s assault on our history. Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster is an evaluation of the Presidents of the U.S. from an America-First standpoint, and a brisk reminder of what has made America great. When the authoritarians, totalitarians, and fascists are attacking our history, it’s all the more important that we know and cherish that history.

BIDEN CRITICIZED FOR COMPARING LATINO & AFRICAN AMERICAN DIVERSITY

BY MARTY JOHNSON

SEE: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/510901-biden-criticized-for-comparing-latino-and-african-american-diversity;

President Trump took aim at presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Thursday, targeting comments that the former vice president made the day before on the country's Black and Latino communities.

Biden made the comments while being interviewed by teleconference as part of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists joint virtual conference.

"What you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, with incredibly different attitudes about different things,” Biden told the panel Wednesday.

Trump on Twitter said that Biden's remarks had lost him "the entire African American community."

The president spoke further on what Biden said right before departing the White House for a trip to Ohio on Thursday.

“I just watched a clip and Joe Biden this morning totally disparaged and insulted the Black community,” Trump told reporters unprompted, without elaborating on which clip he was referencing. “What he said was incredible and I don’t know what is going on with him, but it was a very insulting statement he made.”

The Trump campaign also seized the opportunity to ream Biden.

“The condescending white liberal racism that oozes out of Joe Biden is disgusting," Trump campaign senior adviser Katrina Pierson said in a statement. "Now he arrogantly tells a group of Black reporters that ‘you all know’ that Black people think alike. There’s a reason Joe Biden can’t count on the support of Black voters and it’s because of his plantation owner mentality."

She continued, "President Trump has a true record of helping Black Americans, with unprecedented economic opportunity, record funding for [Historically Black Colleges and Universities], criminal justice reform, and support for school choice. Joe Biden would rather we all just shut up, get in line and know our place.”

Biden campaign senior adviser Symone Sanders responded, telling The Hill in a statement: "If you look at the full video and transcript, it’s clear that Vice President Biden was referring to diversity of attitudes among Latinos from different Latin American countries. The video that is circulating is conveniently cut to make this about racial diversity but that’s not the case.”

Speaking at the annual National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) conference Thursday afternoon, Biden made a similar statement, adding that Latinos are of varying ethnic and racial identities.

“We can build a new administration that reflects the full diversity of our nation and the full diversity of our Latino community,” Biden said. “When I mean full diversity, unlike the African American community and many other communities, you’re from everywhere: from Europe, from the tip of South America, all the way to our border with Mexico and in the Caribbean. [Latinos are] of different backgrounds, different ethnicities, but they are all Latinos."

Biden historically has a track record of favorability among Black Americans, and polling in recent months have shown that he has a commanding lead over Trump with Black voters.

In a recent Economist-YouGov poll, 76 percent of Black respondents said that Biden had their vote, while only 12 percent said they would vote for Trump. Biden's advantage with Hispanic voters in the poll wasn't as stark, with 54 percent of Hispanic voters choosing him and 24 percent picking Trump.

Racist Biden: Blacks Are All the Same, Have No Diversity of Thought - The Rush Limbaugh Show

SEE: https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/08/06/racist-biden-blacks-have-no-diversity-of-thought/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

RUSH: Now, Trump has requested a fourth debate, the Trump campaign. A fourth debate and an early start. Now, one of the reasons why is because of mail-in voting and absentee voting and early voting. The Trump campaign is saying, if we’re gonna be starting the vote much sooner than we ever have before, we gotta get these debates going because people make up their minds after watching a debate.

There’s also the fact that Biden can’t do a debate and won’t do a debate, which is another reason why the Trump campaign is requesting a fourth. Let me show you why there will not be a debate. There won’t be one debate. There won’t be four debates. There won’t be any number of debates. Grab audio sound bite number 1. This happened yesterday. The National Association of Black Journalists, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ virtual convention. This is the same convention where Biden told a CBS reporter, African-American (imitating Biden) “What do you mean a cognitive test? I don’t need to take a cognitive — what are you, cocaine, what are you, a junkie?” So from that same virtual convention, here is Joe Biden talking to NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro, who asked him a question. “Will you reengage with Cuba?”

BIDEN: Yes. And, by the way, what you all know but most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.

RUSH: Did you hear that or did it go by too quickly? (interruption) This is why there won’t be any debates. This is exactly why the Democrats and the Biden campaign cannot throw him out there and do a debate. It’s not just the gaffes, and it’s not just the losing his train of thought. It’s this. “Will you reengage with Cuba?”

(imitating Biden) “Yeah, yeah. And, by the way, what you all know, that most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, incredibly different attitudes about different things.” And of course the Cuban population is largely Hispanic in Biden’s mind. So, yeah, I’d engage with Cuba ’cause it’s far more productive.

So should Joe Biden be suspended from social media, from the sewer, for his racist comments about African-Americans? I don’t care. The question just occurred to me. Maybe Democrat racism is permitted. Maybe it’s even encouraged by their community rules, who knows. Listen – to it again. This has flown under the radar. Well, actually it hasn’t flown under the radar. In fact, there’s a headline for this story that they kind of try to — yeah. This is Yahoo News that had the story, and the headline: “Biden Draws Distinction Between Diversity Within Black And Latino Communities.”

Do you think you’d ever see a headline: “Trump Draws Distinction.” No, “Trump, without evidence, claims that there’s a lot of more diversity in the Hispanic community than in the African-American community, establishing once again that Trump is a bald-faced liar and racist.” Which would be the headline. But with Plugs it’s just, “Biden Draws Distinction Between Diversity Within Black And Latino Communities.” Here. Listen to it again. Three, two, one.

BIDEN: Yes. And, by the way, what you all know but most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.

RUSH: So what does this say to African-Americans about African-Americans? What Biden has done here is simply give away the game. Biden has spoken as a career Democrat, and he has shared with the world the attitude the Democrat Party has about African-Americans. They’re all the same. Maybe a few exceptions, but there’s no diversity. They’re monolithic. We only have to treat ’em a certain way and they’ll do whatever we need. They’ll show up and vote for us whenever we need, whenever we want. Just have to say the same things to ’em over and over again ’cause there isn’t any diversity, isn’t any difference in any of them. They’re all the same.

This is what the Democrat Party’s attitude toward African-Americans is. (interruption) And, yeah, yeah, I was just gonna say. I wonder what my buddy Charlamagne tha God’s reaction is gonna be to this because it was Charlamagne tha God interviewing Biden (imitating Biden), “You ain’t black if you ain’t voting for me. If you ain’t voting for a Democrat you ain’t black.” And people kind of thought that was off the reservation. No. That is the Democrat Party.

What Biden is doing here, he’s got no filter. Biden has no boundaries, he’s got no… what’s the word that I’m looking for? (interruption) Well, it’s “filter” but he’s got — there’s no — yeah, “filter” works until I come up with what I’m actually thinking of. He just blurts out what he’s thinking. And what he’s thinking is, as a Democrat has for all of his life. When he says, “If you don’t vote for me, if you don’t vote Democrat, you ain’t black.” He meant that. That is how they think, you African-Americans, you have a duty to vote Democrat. That is your purpose in life is voting Democrat. And if you don’t, you ain’t black.

And take a look at the way they treat conservative African-Americans. They disown them. Other blacks do as well. They’re Uncle Toms. So Biden is simply remaining in character. African-Americans are monolithic. They don’t think differently from one another. It’s easy to relate to ’em. It’s easy to get them to do what we need ’em to do. But the Hispanic community, now, that’s different. There’s a lot of diversity in the Hispanic community. There’s a lot of different ways of thinking in the Hispanic community. So that’s why I would reengage with Cuba, some really fascinating Hispanics down there, really need to engage ’em ’cause they’re much different, .

Here, listen to it again. I’m not exaggerating. In fact, I’m probably not hitting this stridently enough. Here it is again.

BIDEN: Yes. And, by the way, what you all know but most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.

RUSH: Okay. So what’s The Oprah gonna do with this new book that she’s chosen that says people are tired of racism, it doesn’t move the bell anymore, move the meter, we need something more, so they’re coming up with America’s caste system. In Joe Biden’s mind African-Americans march in a straight line. They don’t think for themselves. And if they don’t vote Democrat, they’re not even black. According to Biden, African-Americans lack diversity of thought. They engage almost exclusively in groupthink, and that’s how the Democrat Party approaches them. That’s how the Democrat Party treats them.

This is why they can’t let him out of the basement. This is why they can’t turn him loose without a teleprompter, and even then it’s a risk. And this is why there aren’t gonna be any debates. He’s saying that African-Americans are like-minded simpletons. This is as racist a comment as anything they want to try to lay off on us, folks. This is how senile basement dwellers think and speak. (interruption) No, no, no, no, no. I didn’t say that. No, no, no. He doesn’t think they all look alike. He’s convinced they all think alike. He is convinced that they all react the same way.

He is convinced that you have to approach the African-American community in only one way. And what way is that? That everybody on the Republican side is a racist pig. You know what it is? You know how the Democrats approach African-Americans? It’s real simple. There’s a great phrase that has been developed to describe it. The soft bigotry of low expectations. Biden is part of the age-old Democrat Party which feels sorry for African-Americans. They think of them all as victims incapable of helping themselves, incapable of living on their own, incapable of doing the right things on their own. They need the Democrat Party to do all these things for them.

And with such low expectations, there’s bigotry there. When you think somebody’s incapable of doing something — when you think, by the way, when you think an entire race is incapable, when you think an entire race is a collection of victims — and this is what Biden has let out of the bag. This is what the traditional Democrat view of African-Americans has always been. It’s why we on the right get so frustrated.

If there are any of you African-American Democrats in the audience, this why we get so frustrated. They don’t think of you the way you think they do. They don’t have anything other than low expectations of you. They don’t have anything but a bunch of feel-sorry sympathy for you. The expectation they have is that you gonna vote for ’em. And if you don’t, you won’t have any practical purpose for them. This is demeaning. It is racist and it’s ignorant. And it’s all rolled into one 14-second audio clip.

He’s doubling down on what he told my old buddy Charlamagne tha God. If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black. Joe Biden making broad judgments about people based on their skin color: Hispanics, diversity, all over the place, unlike African-Americans, and you know what I’m talking about.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Audio sound bite number 2. This is again the National Association Black Journalists, National Association of Hispanic Journalists virtual convention where Joe Biden has just said (paraphrasing), “Yeah, by the way, what you all know” — he’s talking to a Hispanic female reporter — “what you know most people don’t know, unlike the black community, the Latino community’s incredibly diverse, incredibly different attitudes about different things, unlike the black community. And we know the black community like nobody knows the black community. We know.”

Same convention, same place, same reporter, Lulu Garcia-Navarro says to Biden, “So if you scrap the president’s tariffs on China, what do you want in return? If you’re gonna get rid of those, are you just gonna scrap ’em without any concessions from the Chinese?”

BIDEN: The way Trump — the way China will respond is when we gather the rest of the world and that fact invades in in free – in, in open trade and making sure that we’re in a position that the world — that we deal with WHO the right way. That, that in fact, that’s when things begin to change.

RUSH: And there’s another reason why there will not be a debate. There won’t be one debate, there won’t be two, there won’t be four. Here. This is amusing. Let’s listen to this again. Remember, the question. “Okay. So if you scrap Trump’s tariffs on the ChiComs,” which, by the way, are working “if you scrap the tariffs, what do you want from the ChiComs in return, or is it nothing, you’re just gonna scrap the tariffs and not demand the ChiComs make any concessions?”

BIDEN: The way Trump — the way China will respond is when we gather the rest of the world and that fact invades in in free – in, in open trade and making sure that we’re in a position that the world — that we deal with WHO the right way. That, that in fact, that’s when things begin to change.

RUSH: So this is why yesterday I made a big point, whoever is putting Biden out there is doing all of this on purpose. They’re subjecting him to this ridicule. They’re putting him out here in these circumstances that he is not capable of existing in, not capable of performing. His mental acuity is — well, it’s vanishing by the day. Let’s read this by the transcript. “The way Trump — the way China will respond” — the question was, what’s he gonna do, if he scraps Trump’s tariffs, are you gonna demand other concessions, or are you just gonna let it go?

“The way Trump — the way China will respond is when we gather the rest of the world and that fact invades in in free – in, in open trade and making sure that we’re in a position that the world — that we deal with WHO the right way.” That’s the World Health Organization. It’s got nothing to do with tariffs. The World Health Organization is in the ChiComs’ back pocket, “That we deal with WHO the right way. That, that in fact, that’s when things begin to change.”

He has no idea what he said. He has no idea what the question was, folks. Now, somebody, a lot of people in the Democrat Party are throwing him out there and subjecting him to this, such is their rabid, unrequited desire to get rid of Donald Trump. But this can’t even be much less part of a debate. They can’t allow this to keep happening. This is part of the campaign, for crying out loud.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: All right. Before we move on, I want to play one more sound bite for you just to — not that it’s necessary. I just want to do it to illustrate the difference in the way the Drive-Bys are treating Biden versus the way they treat Trump. And interestingly, let me find it. There’s a story in the Stack, and I put it near the top. There’s a Gallup survey out there, and it’s stunning about who the American people blame for the partisanship. It’s the media, but the amount by which — here it is. Here it is.

“Gallup Poll Finds 84% of Americans Say Media to Blame for US Political Divide.” Gallup, 84%? You want to talk about some people that agree right down the line with President Trump? The fake news is the enemy of the people. Eighty-four percent, Gallup, find, say that the media is to blame for the partisan divide. America needs a Truth Detector more than ever, and I am that man. We have been infected by a fake news media requiring me, the Doctor of Democracy and America’s Truth Detector, to keep everybody from succumbing to this.

“A new poll released on Tuesday shows Americans have a growing distrust of the media -” this is second such poll this week. “– with an overwhelming majority saying the press have a political bias and nearly half saying news outlets display a ‘great deal’ of bias,” and that 84% of Americans say the media is to blame for the partisan divide. Folks, that means even some Democrats agree with this. That is a stunning number.

The previous story this week about the people distrusting the media was an AP story by one of their prominent media writers, a guy by the name of David Bauder. Oh, no, no, no, no. It’s not gonna change the way the media goes about doing anything ’cause they’re activists. They’re not even really journalists. There’s not journalism going on here. It’s activism disguised as journalism. There is not any news anymore.

This program gives you more news than anything you could watch on ABC, CBS, NBC or read in the New York Times. And let me just illustrate this. Sound bite number three. Now, it was yesterday that Biden was being interviewed by a CBS report by the name of Errol something or other, and it was to this reporter that Biden asked him (imitating Biden), “You been doing cocaine, you take a little snort out there, what are you, a junkie?” Because this reporter had asked him about whether he’d taken a cognitive dissonance test. So here’s how CBS reported on this yesterday. The reporter is Ed O’Keefe. This is last night on the CBS Evening News.

O’KEEFE: Biden today also brushed off questions raised by Mr. Trump about his mental fitness, telling black and Latino journalists, including CBS’ Errol Barnett, that he’s never taken a cognitive test.

BIDEN: No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man! That’s like saying, you, before you got in this program, did you take a test whether you’re taking cocaine or not? What do you think? Huh? Are you a junkie?

RUSH: They just report this. They didn’t defend their reporter. They didn’t bother to in any way exonerate their reporter. They didn’t defend him. They just reported it. Biden attacked one of their own, and they still protect Biden. They still shield him. I air that for you just to illustrate the difference.

Let me grab this guy on line 3, this fits with where we are right now. David in Marco Island, Florida. Welcome, sir. Great to have you on the program. How you doing, sir?

CALLER: Very well, Rush. Thank you.

RUSH: You bet. Go ahead. We’re ready to go here.

CALLER: My comment is that when Joe spoke yesterday to that reporter about recognizing animals, being able to tell the difference between an elephant and a lion, it implies he has had a cognitive test. (loss of caller audio).

RUSH: Well, the reason I want to take your call is because not necessarily. Asking a person taking a cognitive test the difference between a lion and an elephant. But remember, Trump talked about it in his — I guess it was the Chris Wallace interview on Fox. I forget. I forget. Trump’s on so many different media things, I don’t know what it was. I think it was Chris Wallace. They were standing on the colonnade outside the Rose Garden, I think, and Trump talked about the test, and he talked about how he aced it, he talked about some of the questions. And one of the questions was, can you tell the difference between a lion and an elephant.

Well, Biden could have been watching that. Biden could have watched the Trump interview. It’s entirely possible he hasn’t taken a cognitive test. Not that it matters to me one way or the other. But he could have been watching the Trump interview and that’s how he knows that a cognitive test asks you to stipulate the difference in a lion and an elephant, that he maybe has taken a cognitive. But the real point here is he calls a reporter a junkie, he makes up this thing about maybe you did some cocaine before you came to interview me. Come on, man, what are you talking about here? Are you some junkie?

And then you come back with the Biden answer today about Hispanics are wildly diverse and African-Americans are monolithic, there’s nothing interesting about African-Americans, they’re all the same, and we treat them all the same.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: By the way, I think the president may have had this show turned on shortly after noon. Listen to this audio sound bite.

THE PRESIDENT: I just watched a clip, and Joe Biden this morning totally disparaged and insulted the black community. What he said is incredible and I don’t know what’s going on with him, but it was a very insulting statement he made. And I guess you’ll figure that out. You’ll see it in a little while. But it was a great insult to the black community.

RUSH: So the president came out of the White House at about 12:15, and he’s on his way to the helicopter. So I’m thinking somebody in there listened to the program, “Mr. President, you gotta hear this, you gotta see this,” showed him a clip, whatever. Folks, it is incredible what Biden said.

The Twitter employee who announced to the world why the Trump campaign account was briefly suspended is the Kamala Harris former press secretary Nick Pacilio. There’s a woman that does the same thing at Facebook who was the former — her name is Sarah Pollack, I believe. He’s Facebook’s policy communications manager. She would be the one pulling down Trump campaign tweets. She worked for Hillary.

NEW YORK CITY SETS UP QUARANTINE CHECKPOINTS AT BRIDGES, TUNNELS, AIRPORTS, RAIL & BUS STATIONS~RANDOM STOPS OF COMMUTERS, TRAVELERS

Armed sheriff’s deputies are manning checkpoints across New York City, as well as the airport and bus and train stations, wanting to know where you’ve been and where you’re going. The checkpoints have been initiated to slow the spread of the coronavirus, which has hit New York City harder than any other major U.S. city.

I’m sure the deputies are very polite and apologetic, but is it really necessary to pull people aside or out of their cars and ask them questions that are none of the government’s business?

NBC News:

Drivers heading into Gotham via the tunnels and bridges were pulled over at random. Commuters arriving at Penn Station and the Port Authority were scrutinized. And visitors disembarking at area airports were being required to fill out forms and provide contact information.

The questions from the deputies and other officials at the COVID-19 checkpoints were always the same: Where have you been? Where are you headed?

The display of muscle was aimed at enforcing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s travel order, which requires people who have spent at least 24 hours in the dozens of states (and Puerto Rico) where the coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire to quarantine for 14 days after arriving in the area.

The order includes New Yorkers returning home, which is probably not going over very well.

Yes, there is a public health interest in trying to stop the spread of the coronavirus, but at what cost?

New York City Sheriff Joseph Fucito said his deputies, backed by other law enforcement agencies, “will undertake traveler registration checkpoints at major bridge and tunnel crossings into New York City.”

“The entire team will strive to ensure the deployment balances the critical public health and welfare needs of the residents of the city with the legal protections entitled to all people,” Fucito said.

Those “legal protections” include the right to privacy, but that doesn’t appear to have entered Mayor de Blasio’s thinking. Tucker Carlson thinks de Blasio’s order treats New Yorkers like refugees in a war zone with checkpoints.

Fox News:

“Today, de Blasio announced that he plans to encircle the entire city with military-style checkpoints, not to stop violent criminals, but to prevent people from visiting from other places,” the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host said. “There was no public discussion of this ahead of time, there was no debate. De Blasio just decreed it.”

The message to New Yorkers? Sit down, shut up, and obey.

Carlson added the move sends a troubling message to New Yorkers and reinforces what many were forced to learn as a result of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s failure to protect nursing home residents.

“The people who make the worst decisions … never face consequences for those decisions,” the host said. “Only you do, so shut up and show us your papers, peasant.”

Yes, but it’s for your own good so, deal with it, sucker.
