In the Knesset, former hostages who had been released in the November exchange of imprisoned terrorists for Israeli civilians held captive told them what it was like for them in Gaza. The focus of the Knesset hearing was on the sexual abuse and rape of female captives. The world, in danger of forgetting about the hostages, as all eyes are on Israel’s putative misdeeds in Gaza, needs to be constantly reminded of what is happening to those still held captive. In an emotional hearing at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, former hostages held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza recounted harrowing tales of sexual harassment and abuse, as families of those still held captive pleaded for the Israeli government to do more to secure their release.

“As hard as it is to say, every girl there goes through sexual harassment one way or another,” said Mia Regev, who was freed in November after 50 days in captivity. Fighting back tears, she urged lawmakers to take action, saying, “Your job is to bring them back home.”

Sharon Aloni-Cunio, also released in November, said “the fear is endless” for female captives. “To be a woman in captivity is to be in constant fear; it can’t be described in words,” she told the Knesset Committee for the Advancement of Women’s Status and Gender Equality. “The terrorist is the sole arbiter of your fate.”

She added: “The feeling of helplessness is one I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Each moment feels never-ending and every movement of the terrorists causes stomach cramping because who knows what might happen.”

Mothers and sisters of the remaining hostages stood with their loved ones outside the committee room, some of them wearing clothes that appeared to be stained with blood. Liri Albag’s mother, Shira, said at the start of the hearing, “She’s in hell. Does anyone understand what it means to be in hell?”

“Our daughters experience daily suffering there. They are harmed in body and soul. My Liri was, and still is — I don’t know because I have no information about her — a slave in the homes of Gazans,” she said.

“All the decision-makers — you need to understand that every day you witness the rape that happens in Gaza,” she continued. “These girls are raped daily and everyone ignores them. You close your eyes. I hear Liri every day screaming for help: ‘Mom, save me already.’ Liri’s soul is crushed, and I cannot speak about what has happened to her body.”

Yaffa Ohad, the aunt of Noa Argamani, attended the hearing instead of Argamani’s mother, who is dying of cancer. Ohad fainted during the hearing and required medical attention. Before she fainted, Ohad said since the testimony of Amit Soussana, the first hostage to go public with her testimony of sexual torture during her captivity, had “wiped the family out. The thoughts will not leave us alone.”…

Josh Hawley GOES OFF on HHS for 85,000 Unaccompanied Migrant Children, abused, forced to work in sweatshops

During the testimony of federal officials on the situation of unaccompanied migrant children, Robin Dunn Marcos faced criticism from Josh Hawley and Lindsey Graham. Seema Nanda, the solicitor of labor for the U.S. Labor Department, revealed to the Senate Judiciary Committee that there has been an 88% increase in the number of children employed illegally since 2019. Along with representatives from the State, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services Departments, Ms. Nanda discussed various aspects related to the well-being and safety of unaccompanied minors at the border. These included resource requirements, border security, enforcement of child labor laws, and the provision of care and services for these children, as well as protocols for identifying and assisting trafficked minors.

According to a team of United Nations (UN) delegates, during Hamas’ October 7th attack on Israel, there were “reasonable grounds to believe” that the terrorist group committed sexual violence, including rape and gang-rape.

The report also claims to have discovered solid evidence supporting the assertion that sexual assault against Israeli hostages in Gaza has occurred and may still be occurring.

The delegation, headed by UN special envoy Pramila Patten for sexual violence in conflict, traveled to Israel from January 29th to February 14th with the goal of compiling, examining, and confirming data on sexual assaults related to October 7th.

“Credible circumstantial information, which may be indicative of some forms of sexual violence, including genital mutilation, sexualized torture, or cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment, was also gathered,” the 24-page UN report states.

On October 7th, thousands of Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, killing at least 1,200 people and taking 253 hostages, most of whom were civilians and many of whom were subjected to horrifying acts of violence.

“The mission team found clear and convincing information that some hostages taken to Gaza have been subjected to various forms of conflict-related sexual violence and has reasonable grounds to believe that such violence may be ongoing,” the UN report says.

According to the report, a “fully-fledged investigation” will be necessary to determine the precise attribution, extent, and total size of the instances of sexual violence.

Following October 7th, the UN team also claims to have received evidence regarding “sexual violence against Palestinian men and women in [Israeli] detention settings, during house raids, and at checkpoints” from institutional and civil society sources in addition to direct interviews.

They continued, claiming that after bringing up the accusations with Israel’s Ministry of Justice and Military Advocate General, the UN group was purportedly informed that there had been no reports of sexual assault against Israeli Defense Force (IDF) personnel.

On October 7, Hamas not only murdered 1,200 people. Its operatives raped women and girls, in every conceivable way. Hamas men took turns raping the same victims over and over again. They mutilated their bodies, especially their genitals, sometimes pushing knives and guns into their vaginas, sometimes cutting off their sexual organs, sometimes shooting them in their vaginas, and watched them bleed to death. They sliced off their breasts and played catch with them. They filmed one another committing these acts – they were proud of themselves. What fun to torment the yahudim. They made sure that the girls and women were raped in front of their husbands, fathers, children, who were forced to watch. Imagine the very worst, and they did it that day.

The systematic nature of the “sadistic sex crimes” committed during the Hamas-led invasion of Israel on Oct. 7 has been revealed for the first time, in a report published by the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel.

Furthermore, the document has been translated into English and sent to decision-makers in the United Nations to leave “no room for denial or disregard.”

The report, authored by Dr. Carmit Keller-Halamish and Nega Berger, analyses public and confidential testimonies about the sexual violence, eyewitness accounts and interviews with victims and first responders.

“The terrorist organization Hamas has chosen to injure the State of Israel with two clear strategies—taking civilians captive, and sadistic sex crimes,” said Orit Soliciano, CEO of the Association of Rape Crisis Centers.

“It is no longer possible to remain silent—we expect the international organizations to take a clear position, it is impossible to stand on the sidelines. Standing on the other side will be remembered as a historic stain on all those who chose to remain silent and deny the sexual crimes committed by Hamas,” Soliciano added….

According to the report, sexual violence took place everywhere the terrorists invaded, including at the Supernova music festival, kibbutzim, cities, towns and IDF bases. The hostages in Gaza continue to be victimised….

Hamas terrorists carried out a hunting expedition to catch young men and women who attempted to escape the carnage at the music festival, dragging them by the hair screaming. The sexual violence targeted men, women and girls and included binding their bodies, mutilating genitals and the bodies of both males and females with knives and in some cases inserting weapons inside the genitals.

For the girls and women, after the Hamas rapists had had their fill, they cut off their victims’ breasts, stabbed or shot into their vaginas, sometimes cut off their labia, stuck knives inside them, before they finally murdered them. For men, they gouged out their eyes, and cut off their genitals, before killing them.

In most cases, the victims were executed either during the rape or after.

One can well imagine what is being done to some of the female captives still held in Gaza.

Will the UN, that has proved so indifferent to the anguish of Israel, with a Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, who during the Gaza War has tried in every way he can to protect Hamas from the relentless assault by the IDF, by calling continually for a permanent “ceasefire” that if instituted at this point would constitute a victory for Hamas and a defeat for Israel, agree to discuss this report on the extreme depravity of Hamas, the systematic nature of its operatives’ sex crimes, and the need to make sure that both the group’s leaders, and all those who took direct part in those atrocities, are put on trial before an international tribunal where every bit of the evidence, exhaustively compiled by Israeli investigators, is presented? Or will the UN, staying true to its anti-Israel animus, ignore what Israelis endured on October 7 and focus instead on what some call the “humanitarian catastrophe” in Gaza that the Jewish state is accused of causing?

Manny Silva: Should A General Superintendent Resign For Giving Unbiblical Advice?

The Bible is clear on the standard God has set for human sexuality. It does not take a theologian with a PhD to understand it. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 describe homosexuality as an abomination. Romans 1:26-28 says homosexuality is a vile affection practiced by reprobates. The Old and New Testaments clearly condemn this as sin.

It does not take much reading and “conversation” to come the conclusion that the following summarizes God’s biblical standard:

  1. Marriage is between a man and a woman only.
  2. Sex outside of marriage is a sin.
  3. Homosexuality is a sin. (often mentioned in scripture as an abomination).
  4. Same sex marriage is a sin.

The Church of the Nazarene ascribes to these standards, “officially.” And yet we know that often human beings will say one thing, and then do or say the exact opposite in secret. Even worse, there are Nazarene leaders, including those in the highest places, who are secretly supporting, or at best, turning a blind eye to sinful behavior. And there is at least one General Superintendent (as yet his/her name is unknown) who gave blatantly unscriptural advice to a pastor in 2019.

In January of 2019, Will Campbell officiated a same sex wedding for his brother. He was given advice by a General Superintendent, who give him tacit approval to participate in the wedding. The following is direct testimony by Rick Power at a Pastors’ meeting last year. Rick Power told the pastors the following regarding his son-in-law:

“Will participated [in the same sex wedding] by reading a poem and by praying. And he did that at the advice of one of our General Superintendents who said, “as ministers of the gospel, when we are invited to pray or to read scripture, to perform a ministerial function, we do it.”

A General Superintendent is tasked with the main responsibility of guiding and leading the denomination in upholding biblical standards as well as the rules and regulations according to the Church Manual. That is his/her primary duty, to be faithful to the word of God, and also to lead by example; by word, and by deed.

So now, please let this fact sink in. A General Superintendent told an ordained minister of the church that it is perfectly fine to “read scripture”, “read a poem”, and do pretty much anything else at a same sex marriage, and it will be okay... as long as you are not the officially listed minister on the marriage certificate.

A New Code of Conduct?

Well, that surely is a new way to lower the standards of Holy Scripture! The logical conclusion is this: “it is sinful for an individual to marry someone of the same sex, but it is perfectly fine for an ordained elder in the church to approve of the wedding, read scripture or a poem at the wedding, and then celebrate and dance at the reception with all the others who are celebrating what is an abomination before God.”

That’s the new standard that this General Superintendent has expressed, albeit in private to one ordained elder. Except the problem is that it is no longer private. Pastors in the Hawaii District were told about this, and so what’s to stop them from doing the same thing? More Nazarenes are aware since we posted this information, so what is to stop more Nazarene elders to do what Will Campbell did?

At the Pastor’s meeting, Rick Power continued to rationalize that what Will Campbell did was perfectly fine for any Nazarene elder to do:

“We show up. But of course we draw the line at actually performing the wedding. That's very clear in church polity. So if you're just watching the video, you might think, well, they're both there and they're both officiating the ceremony. But we do make that distinction between the minister of record who signs the marriage license and pronounces the couple man and wife, and others who might participate in other ways by praying or singing, whatever it might.”

Rick Power says that it’s “very clear in church polity” that there is a new standard. Very clear? How many Nazarene elders have received a new memo from the General Superintendents that this is the new standard? Is Rick Power totally making up his own perceived denomination-wide standard, or is there only a tacit, secret approval from the top leaders in the church?

Again, what is suggested is clear. “Do whatever you want, attend a same sex wedding, read scripture or a poem, celebrate an abomination all you want. As long as you don’t sign the official line on that marriage certificate, you are just fine.”

Welcome to the new, “unofficial” Code of Conduct in the Church of the Nazarene. With a wink and a nod perhaps.

Repent or Resign

We need to be equal opportunity Bible believers when it comes to sin. And when it comes to those who are high profile, the standards should not deviate one bit. Recently Alistair Begg, a highly respected pastor and solid preacher, made the egregious error of recommending to a grandmother that she attend a same sex marriage, and also bring a gift! Since this revelation, Alistair Begg has refused to recant from his horribly bad and unbiblical advice. As much as he has blessed so many with his preaching, this man is wrong and must be called out as well. He must be held accountable and repent from his very harmful advice. Coming from someone with such prominence, it can be even more damaging to the body of Christ.

When church leaders are not held accountable, it brings untold damage to the church. The same accountability must be applied in the Church of the Nazarene. The General Superintendent who gave Will Campbell this advice needs to repent of what he/she said. He or she needs to confess this error to the church publicly, because only then will there be a chance to be “rehabilitated”. But if he or she cannot give up this unbiblical idea and admit it is wrong, then the only option is to resign, along with any other General Superintendent who knew and went along with the idea, or ignored the opportunity to correct a fellow leader.

The General Superintendents who were on duty in January of 2019 were: David Busic, Filimão Chambo, Gustavo Crocker, Eugenio Duarte, David Graves, Carla Sunberg.

The “Bible” of the English Language, the Oxford English Dictionary of 1932, defined the word “ghoul” as “An evil spirit supposed in Mohammedan countries to rob graves and prey on human corpses.”

That sounds right. The world was even treated to a display of this on October 7 when an army of Jihadist Arabs violently raped not only living Jewish females but also their dead bodies. One can also assume that they sodomized the remains of dead Jewish men and boys too.

From reports by survivors of captivity in Gaza, there is reason to believe, given what is known of Arab sexuality, that the remaining men and boy hostages have been sodomized and females continually raped throughout their two months of captivity.

It would be instructive to note that the Jewish Bible teaches that Ishmael, father of the Arabs, was a “wild ass of a man” – meaning a man in human form but in spirit an undomesticated jackass with, presumably, the sex life of an animal.

The Jewish people, meanwhile, have a very different relationship with the human body. The Jews were mankind’s first sexual moralists, which surely contributes to Jew-hatred. The Jews, after all, gave the world the story of  Sodom and Gomorrah.

The Jews’ religion also sometimes calls for capital punishment by hanging, with the rule that  the corpse must be taken down and buried before sunset. It must not be allowed to be pecked at by birds or allowed to decompose and smell. No matter how awful the criminal had been, his body was the handiwork of G-d.

And so, the IDF has lost soldiers in Gaza trying to retrieve the bodies of dead comrades-in-arms who either expired from the bestiality of their barbaric captors or were outright murdered by them. Indeed, since 2014, the Muslim Brotherhood (HAMAS) in Gaza has held onto the earthly remains of two IDF soldiers, tormenting their parents every day since then by not returning their sons for a proper Jewish burial.

Besides being sub-civilized ghouls who deal in dead bodies, Muslim Arabs have long histories of being kidnappers and enslavers. For a thousand years before the first black African was enslaved in the New World, the Arabs routinely had been raiding black Africa to scoop up black boys, hundreds at a time and castrate them on the spot. Most did not survive, but those who did were taken back into the Arab world and sold as eunuchs to tend to the needs of a Muslim man’s harem.

The north coast of Africa was once dotted with four Muslim maritime powers: Morocco, Algiers, Tunis and Tripoli, whose cruisers hunted for ships at sea belonging to Christian nations to not only plunder the vessel and its cargo, but to also enslave the passengers and crews until ransomed. They were known colloquially as the Barbary Pirates, but in truth they were not pirates, if by that we think of independent highwaymen on the high seas flying the Skull & Bones who when ashore hung out in taverns, got drunk singing “Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum” while pawing at wenches.

No, these tee-totaling seamen, when at sea, prayed to Mecca three times daily (five times when ashore) and flew three flags vertically arranged at the masthead of their cruisers. The lowest represented the pasha in the cruiser’s home port; in the middle flew the pennant of the Ottoman Sultan in Istanbul to whom these regency city-states paid tribute; at the top, symbolically above all, flapped the green flag of Islam.

Indeed, it was Islam’s jihad that justified their hijacking, kidnapping, and enslaving. For example, in late March 1786 in London, a clandestine meeting transpired among three diplomats: Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, respectively U.S. ambassadors to France and England, and a Sheik Abdurahman of Tripoli (Libya) representing the pasha there.  At that time, there were twenty-one American merchant seamen enslaved in Algiers, the most feared of the Barbary ports, with the sheik threatening, however politely, to start hijacking American merchant ships too. To prevent that, he was asking for “tribute,” roughly a third of the American government’s annual budget at the time.

When Jefferson asked him why, since the U.S. was less than two years old and had never done anything wrong to Tripoli, the sheik explained that the jihad was eternal. The Crusades may have ended centuries in the past but the hostility between Christendom and Islam and smallbore clashes never did. A century previous, Vienna was menaced with conquest by the Muslims.

Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli were governed by Turkish Janissaries, commonly Christian boys kidnapped in the Balkans by Muslims, forcibly converted to Islam, and used as homosexual boy-toys for the Ottoman grandees. As adults, they went off to North Africa to sire sons with the local women but also take for themselves a boy-toy they liked to dress in fine clothes and show off to other men.

Yasser Arafat (1929-2004) according to the highest-ever Soviet bloc defector, Ion Pacepa, former head of Communist Romania’s version of the KGB, wrote in his book Red Horizons that Arafat traveled with bodyguards who as little boys were orphaned when the Mossad liquidated their terrorist fathers. Arafat then “adopted” them, raised them to be his bodyguards, and every night they all partied in “gay” orgies.

Arab Muslims also practice corporal punishment as no other culture does. Steal something and you can have your hand chopped off. What other religion in the world acts like this?

So, anyone who saw the 43-minute IDF video of what Hamas Muslims did to Jewish bodies on October 7, including the mutilation of their sex organs, should not be surprised.

In 1972 at the Munich Olympic Games, when Arafat’s boys took Israeli athletes hostage, they flaunted their power over them by castrating the weight lifter in front of his teammates.

Muslims also practice polygamy, which is a form of slavery for women. Indeed, what might be the signature distinction between Judeo-Christian civilization and Islam is the sex lives of Muslims.

Lost in the horror of what Hamas did to Jews on Oct 7, the perpetrators were 2,500-3,000 homicidal maniacs bent not only on mass murder, mutilation, and sexual depravity, but suicide – yearning to be killed by Jews. Dying in their jihad would result in their immediate insertion into Muslim paradise – where the jihadist gets to violently rape 72 virgins for all eternity. It is no coincidence that the word “assassin” is, like “ghoul,” a product of Arab-Muslim culture.

Samantha Pearson, Head of Sexual Assault Center, Fired For Denying Hamas Nazis Committed Any Rapes

Sensitivity to rape accusations - except when Jews are the victims.

Samantha Pearson was until Nov. 18 the head of the Sexual Assault Center at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. It was on that day that she was fired, after having signed an open letter denying that members of Hamas committed any rapes on October 7. This claim was made despite the videos of near-naked women being driven off in the back of trucks by Hamas, despite the testimony of Israeli survivors who witnessed rapes from their hiding places, and despite the videos taken by the rapists themselves, or by Hamas onlookers who wanted to record the rapes by their friends, and despite the testimony of captured Hamas operatives to their Israeli interrogators.. The University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, indicated in a statement on Saturday that it had fired the head of the campus sexual assault center who signed onto an open letter denying Hamas-led terrorists raped women during their devastating October 7 onslaught in southern Israel.

Samantha Pearson signed the letter, titled “Stand with Palestine: Call on Political Leaders to End Their Complicity in Genocide,” which slammed center-left New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh for repeating “the unverified accusation that Palestinians were guilty of sexual violence,” among other critiques of the lawmaker on the issue….

What “unverified accusation” are those who signed this dreadful letter alluding to? Not only does the IDF have videos of some of those rapes, taken both by the rapists themselves and by their friends, but it also has the eyewitness testimony of survivors, who from their hideouts saw both rapes and gang rapes being committed. The naked and often mutilated corpses of rape victims were strewn about, some with their breasts slit off (Hamas members had fun playing catch with a severed breast), dried semen still on their bodies. One witness saw a rapist who, while still inside his victim, shot her in the head. The Hamas rapists also telephoned their families to excitedly tell of their great deeds (“Mom, I killed ten Jews”), and telephoned their friends to describe what fun they had had raping Jewish girls. Hamas members captured by the IDF admitted that the leaders of the group had “given permission” for the rapes. None of this — not the videos made by Hamas members recording the rapes committed by themselves or by fellow terrorists, not the testimony given both by Israeli survivors and by captured Hamas members, not the forensic evidence (semen, bruises at the sites of entry, mutilations) — has made the slightest impression on Samantha Pearson.

The letter was authored by Susan Kim, a city councilor in Victoria, and Sarah Jama, a member of Ontario’s provincial parliament who was booted from the NDP [New Democratic Party] over remarks only three days after the October 7 massacre calling Israel an “apartheid” state while ignoring Hamas’s atrocities.

In a letter posted to X, the University of Alberta said “The recent improper and unauthorized use of the name of the [university]’s Sexual Assault Centre in endorsing an open letter has raised understandable concerns from members of our community and the public.”

“Effective immediately, the director of the centre is no longer employed by the university,” the letter read. A new interim director was appointed to head the campus sexual assault center, the university said.

“I want to be clear that the former employee’s personal views and opinions do not in any way represent those of the University of Alberta,” wrote university president Bill Flanagan. “The University of Alberta stands firmly and unequivocally against discrimination and hatred on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, and other protected categories. We recognize the historical and ongoing harms of antisemitism and commit to doing all we can as a university to advance a world free of prejudice and discrimination.”

Flanagan said the event has been “profoundly hurtful and may have compromised the trust of individuals in our community” and also negatively impacted the critical nature of the assault center’s work.

“On behalf of the university, I apologize for the hurt and distress this issue has caused members of our community and beyond,” he said….

In a recent video, Sarah Jama [the co-author of the letter]also expressed her skepticism of Hamas atrocities, claiming “there is no actual evidence of these rapes and the babies with their heads cut off — all these things are pieces of misinformation.”

This is simply a lie. The “actual evidence” consists of eyewitness testimony, both from Hamas operatives captured, and interrogated, by the IDF, and from Israeli survivors who saw rapes in progress; videos of the rapes taken by members of Hamas filming their friends enjoying themselves, and by the forensic evidence —such as wounds around the vagina and anus suggesting forcible entry, as well as dried semen.

“So I think it shows the strength of the Zionist lobby here in Canada and the ways in which they were able to pressure an entire government operation to censure me indefinitely until I apologized,” she [Jama] said in a video shared by @AntisemitismCA.

Ah, ever the victim. Sarah Jama, the co-author of the letter denying rapes by Hamas and accusing Israel of “genocide,” thinks she should not have suffered any consequences for that letter. Others beg to differ. But she claims, grotesquely, that the “Zionist lobby” (Jama’s antisemitism is showing) was “able to pressure an entire government operation to censure me indefinitely.” There has been no censure — “indefinitely” — of Sarah Jama “by the government.” The political party to which she belonged — the New Democratic Party — decided to expel her from its ranks. That is all. She can join another party. She can run as an independent. What’s her problem?

Jama’s letter, signed by several pro-Palestinian and progressive groups, called on Canada’s federal lawmakers to resign for “facilitating Israeli-led genocide” against the Palestinians, without providing evidence of the claim.

Israeli-led genocide? It is Hamas that gave a demonstration of an authentic genocidal attempt on October 7, torturing, raping, murdering without stop as many Jews as it could. It is the IDF that, in fighting Hamas, takes every conceivable measure to minimize civilian deaths — that is, to avoid any hint of “genocide.” First, the IDF has dropped 1.5 million leaflets warning civilians in northern Gaza to seek refuge beyond the Wadi Gaza, in the southern part of the Strip. Second, when a civilian building — whether a school, an apartment building, a mosque, or some other structure — is about to be targeted, the IDF warns inhabitants to leave those sites. It does this by messaging, telephoning, leafletting, and by use of the “knock-on-the-roof” technique. No other army in the world warns its enemy of impending strikes. It is this practice that led British Colonel Richard Kemp to describe the IDF as “the most moral army in the world.”

The letter [signed by Samantha Pearson] slams lawmakers for “failing to recognize Israeli occupation as ‘terrorist’ and only directing this term at Palestinian resistance,” arguing they “perpetuate an Islamophobic trope.”

“Your language is fueling the collective trauma being experienced by your constituents, and inciting hate crimes against Palestinians and Muslims,” the letter read.

But Hamas is a terrorist organization. It has been recognized as such by most of the advanced world. Should we not describe Haas as a terrorist group because, claim this appalling letter’s signatories, it could “incite hate crimes”? Since October 7, there have been thousands of antisemitic acts and attacks across Europe and North America. Can you name more than a handful of “hate crimes” against Muslims in that time? I can only think of one — the killing of a five-year-old Muslim boy by his mother’s landlord, Joseph Czuba, who looks completely demented. There have been a few ballyhooed “attacks on Muslims” that upon investigation turned out to have been committed by Muslims themselves, wanting to swell the number of “anti-Muslim hate crimes.”

It’s always heartwarming to hear when some virulent anti-Israel “activist” goes just too far, is just too absurd, in his, or her, venomous attack on the tiny Jewish state, and loses a job as a result. It’s now happened to Samantha Pearson of Edmonton, Alberta. She was the head of the Sexual Assault Center at the university, but despite that position, which ought to have led her to display a heightened sensitivity to accusations of rape, she was determined not to believe the accounts of rape when the victims were Israeli, and the rapists' members of Hamas. Perhaps she can take her politically-charged expertise in “sexual assault” to someplace more welcoming, such as Al-Quds, or Bir Zeit, two universities where, I am certain, she should do just fine.

The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or the captives whom their right hands possess, for in their case they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

The rape of captive women is also sanctioned in Islamic tradition:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women, and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Sahih Muslim 3371)

It is also in Islamic law: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.” (Umdat al-Salik O9.13)

The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that meant Muslims would take slaves. In a subsequent interview, he elaborated:

Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels. Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars—there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.

When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Koran 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point—there is no disagreement from any of them. […] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like, and purchase her.

Around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.

A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth. I brought up [this man’s] situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”

The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”

“Is this forbidden by Islam?” I asked.

“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not—she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”

In January 2016, a female al-Azhar professor stated that Allah allowed Muslims to rape non-Muslim women in order to humiliate them.
