70 Percent of Ilhan Omar’s Campaign Expenditures Go to Husband’s Firm

According to recent campaign filings, Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) funneled another $1.1 million to her husband’s firm, bringing the total for this election cycle up to $2.7 million.
The filings released by the Omar campaign show that the congresswoman sent over $1.1 million to the E Street Group, the political consulting firm of her husband, Tim Mynett. Payments to the E Street Group make up 70 percent of the $1.6 million her campaign disbursed between July 23 and the end of September. The expenditures have largely been for advertisements, consulting, travel expenses, and production costs.
The E Street Group is the highest-paid vendor from Omar’s campaign. Prior to marrying Mynett, the congresswoman denied being romantically involved with him, as he was still married to another woman and she claimed to not be separated from her now-former husband, Ahmed Hirsi.

Omar has faced criticism on a number of issues since she entered Congress in 2018. Among other things, her lack of transparency about her past marriages has come under fire, and the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board has ordered her to repay thousands for a campaign finance violation.
She now faces a complaint for potentially running afoul of House ethics rules in relation to an advance she received for her memoir.
The Foundation for Accountability and Civil Trust filed a complaint asking the House Ethics Committee to investigate Omar’s failure to report hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of book advance. House rules prohibit members from receiving advances, but the Ethics Committee has told members they may receive royalties, which are based on actual book sales.
Additionally, The Minnesota Campaign Finance Board found last year that Omar improperly used campaign money to fund her personal travel. The board ordered Omar to reimburse her campaign for the expenses, which totaled nearly $3,500. She was also slapped with a $500 penalty.
The previous year, 2018, Omar found herself forced to reimburse thousands of dollars in speaking fees (in violation of Minnesota state house rules), in what the Minneapolis Star Tribune called “a pattern of carelessness and/or self-dealing with legally restricted funds.”
Then there’s the matter of Omar’s alleged former marriage to her own brother for the purpose of committing immigration fraud.
The New American has previously reported extensively about the large amount of evidence suggesting that a former husband of Omar, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, is actually her brother, whom she married in order to help him immigrate to the United States.
In a 2013 tweet she eventually deleted, Omar called her father “Nur Said.” Under Somali naming practices, Somali children are usually given a three-part name. The first name is a chosen name. The middle name traditionally is the first name of the child’s father. The last name is the child’s paternal grandfather’s first name.
In this system, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi’s given name would be Ahmed and his father’s name would be Nur Said.
As Alpha News notes, a 2016 City Pages piece on Omar by Cory Zurowski identified her father as “Nur Said Elmi Mohamed.” But just a day later, the article was revised and Omar’s father’s name changed to the commonly-used Nur Omar Mohammed.
Omar and Hirsi had been together from 2002-2008 and they reunited after Omar’s separation from Elmi in 2011. Hirsi is the father of all the congresswoman’s children.
Despite the fact that Omar and Hirsi were not legally married in 2014 and 2015, they jointly filed their taxes together in those years — a finding by the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board that the Omar campaign attempted to suppress in 2016.
Omar is well-known as an extreme leftist and is a member of the freshman group of progressives known as “The Squad,” which also includes Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).
At his recent rally in Ocala, Florida, President Trump alluded to the allegations surrounding Omar.
“If you look at the House with Pelosi, it’s like they hate Israel, and they believe in Omar who came in here and married her brother or something, and came in illegally,” he said. “Come on Justice, let’s go Justice, Department of Justice.”
Yet considering Omar won her reelection primary handily and is poised to likewise win the general election comfortably, it appears the shroud of scandal is no impediment to a socialist getting elected in blue Minnesota.
Pfizer Wants to Use Children in COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Trial

On Oct. 14, 2020, Pfizer, Inc. of New York City, New York announced it had received approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to enroll children in the Phase 3 human clinical trial on its experimental messenger RNA (ribonucleic acid) BNT162b1 vaccine for COVID-19. The trial, which last month was expanded to include adolescent children as young as 16 years old with chronic health conditions such as HIV, hepatitis C and hepatitis B among its 44,000 participants, will now also include children as young as 12 years of age.1 2 3 4
“I think this is a really big deal. Without clinical trials actually done in children, the only way to actually extend the use of the COVID-19 vaccine into children would be to rely on the adult data,” said L.J. Tan, PhD, chief strategy officer for the Immunization Action Coalition of Saint Paul, Minnesota. “I would hope that the other vaccine manufacturers with COVID-19 vaccines, would follow Pfizer’s example and go down to [age] 12.”1 5
According to the FDA, “The epidemiology and pathogenesis of COVID-19, and the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, may be different in children compared with adults.” 6
Pfizer and BioNTech Will Be First to Test COVID-19 Vaccine on Children in U.S.
The move by Pfizer and its partner on the BNT162b1 vaccine, BioNTech SE of Germany, comes on the heels of a letter written by Sara Goza, MD, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar and FDA Commissioner Steven Hahn, MD asking them to include children in COVID-19 vaccine trials. Dr. Goza’s letter, dated Sept. 29, 2020, stated:
Children must be included in vaccine trials to best understand any potential unique immune responses and/or unique safety concerns.7 8
It would also be less than desirable to have one or more SARS-CoV-2 vaccines licensed or available under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) at a time when no data have been collected on the safety, tolerability, dose, and regimen for children.7 8
Pfizer will reportedly be the first company to test its COVID-19 vaccine on children. A team at the Vaccine Research Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital was scheduled to begin testing the BNT162b1 vaccine on children 16-17 years old last week and is expected to soon begin enrolling children 12-15 years of age.9
AstraZeneca/University Oxford Will Experiment on Children 5-12 Years of Age
AstraZeneca plc and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom are currently conducting a Phrase 3 clinical trial in the U.K. on its experimental AZD1222 (formerly ChAdOx1 nCoV-19) involving more than 12,000 participants broken out into 11 subgroups. One of those subgroups will consist of children 5-12 years of age. AstraZeneca’s CEO, Pascal Soriot, said last month that testing on children had not yet begun.2 10
On Sept. 8, 2020, AstraZeneca/University of Oxford haulted their Phase 3 trials in the U.K and the United States due to suspected very serious adverse reaction in a female participant. On Sept. 9, Soriot said the woman had suffered symptoms consistent with a rare but serious neurological disorder called transverse myelitis, which causes inflammation of the spinal cord.11
AstraZeneca/University of Oxford have since resumed their Phase 3 trial in the U.K. after Britain’s Medicines Health Regulatory Authority (MHRA) said it was safe to do so, but their Phrase 3 in the U.S. remains on hold pending an investigation by the FDA. “We are continuing to work with the FDA to facilitate review of the information needed to make a decision regarding resumption of the U.S. trial,” said Michele Meixell, spokesperson for AstraZeneca.12 13
Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 Vaccine Has Provoked Reactions in Phase 1/2 and Phase 3 Trials
Pfizer and BioNTech have also had some problems with their BNT162b1 vaccine. The companies reported that more than 50 percent of the adult participants in the Phase 1/2 human trials of the BNT162b1 vaccine conducted in May-June 2020 experienced adverse events following vaccination. Two trial participants suffered severe reactions.14 15 16
More recently, Pfizer/BioNTech reported that two participants in their Phase 3 trial experienced adverse events, including fever, headaches, and exhaustion after receiving the BNT162b1 vaccine. According to CNBC, one of the participants “woke up with chills, shaking so hard he cracked a tooth after taking the second dose.”17 18

The astroturf, inauthentic nature of Black Lives Matter was highlighted once again after Sony Corporation (net worth $45 billion) endorsed the movement.
The endorsement came via Sony Playstation announcing a new BLM theme for the PS4 console.
“Show your support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement with this new PS4 theme, out now for free at PS Store,” states the tweet.
The promo once again underscores how Black Lives Matter – which according to its founders is a neo-Marxist movement eventually intended to dismantle capitalism, is supported by some of the biggest purveyors of monopoly capitalism on the planet.
As we have previously highlighted, massive corporations routinely virtue signal in favor of far-left political movements in order to attract media attention and in turn a huge slice of free advertising that would otherwise cost millions of dollars to buy.
The irony of course is that millions of leftists still pretend to themselves that their advocacy for movements like BLM is “revolutionary,” “punk,” “avant-garde” and a form of “resistance”.
Meanwhile, literally every major academic and cultural institution, establishment media outlet, multinational corporation and mainstream entertainment sector agrees with them.

Former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon suggested that President Trump should revoke Joe Biden’s security clearance “this afternoon” because his son Hunter’s compromising emails make the former vice president a national security risk.
“It’s a broad corruption and influence-peddling, it’s basically a national security issue that Joe Biden is obviously compromised,” Bannon said on his show “War Room: Pandemic” on Monday. “I don’t believe he needs a confidential clearance right now.”
“I think one of the things that comes out of here, I would recommend strongly to President Trump that they pull his security clearance.”
“I assume Joe Biden still has a compartmented security clearance to get briefings — I would pull it this afternoon because with the information you have, it’s just uncertain. And I think it’s that level of uncertainty,” Bannon added.
Bannon went on to explain that Hunter Biden’s emails reveal an intricate web of corruption and racketeering.
“His family essentially monetizes access to Joe Biden,” Bannon said.
“What does that access bring? Does that bring terrible deals around the South China Sea and cyber-intrusion? Does it bring what happens in the Crimea? That’s all got to be investigated.”
Bannon revealed on Revolver that he’s actually the point man behind Hunter Biden’s laptop release, and that more bombshell revelations were forthcoming.
“The Bidens are about to be hit with multiple stories from multiple media sources based off evidence beyond the hard drive,” Bannon said.
“Fox and Peter Schweitzer have already started but bigger more mainstream companies are going to weigh in. We already have set in motion the various apparatuses that will release everything.”
