Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s sex textline for teens has angered and concerned parents in Virginia — and rightly so. In a previous articleThe New American reported on the sex textline and how postcards addressed to teens have been mailed out promoting the service as a way for teens to anonymously connect with adult strangers to ask questions about sex and sexuality. The New American reached out to parents to ask about their concerns.

What they had to say is illuminating.

Some of the parents this writer talked to were unaware of the postcards. Either they had not received them yet or — because they are addressed to teens who check the mail themselves — their kids got them and did not mention them. In healthy families with strong connections between parents and their kids, it is possible that the postcards were seen for what they are: junk mail deserving of the trash. But, there is no guarantee of that. The governor and his accomplices in this scheme certainly know that the numbers are in their favor; i.e., by addressing postcards to teens all across Virginia, Northam’s Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is assured of a high return for the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA), which actually administers the sex textline.

And that is the concern of many parents.

One such parent is Michael Lewis. Michael Lewis and his wife, Kimberly, both 34, are the parents of three young children — ranging from nearly one year old to five. They live just outside Fredericksburg. Micheal told The New American that this is “the state trying to steal children away from the family and usurp parental authority.” In this, he agrees with Victoria Cobb, President of the Family Foundation. In a previous article on this topic, this writer quoted Cobb as saying, “All adults should be encouraging kids to talk to their own parents about these sensitive topics.” Cobb went on to say, “Having any conversation over technology about sex — especially with a stranger — is the exact opposite of the way any responsible parent trains their child.”

And though Michael and Kimberly are not parents of teens — and therefore not the parents of kids who are the immediate targets of this sex textline — Michael says they realize that their kids are future targets of this and future plans to subject kids to “sexual grooming.” He told The New American, “What it boils down to is sexual grooming of children — it would be one thing if the public schools said, ‘This is how reproduction works, but you are strongly encouraged to wait because if you get pregnant, it’s not good,’ but that’s not what they’re saying.” He went on to say, “They are encouraging [emphasis in original] teenagers to be sexually active.”

As a concerned and educated parent who has taken the time to understand the development of children, Michael points to the biological differences between kids and adults that go beyond what is normally called “sexual maturity.” He said, “If you look at the data, if you want to go based on what the Supreme Court has said, we don’t execute people for crimes they commit under the age of 18 because according to the neurological medical research, their brains — their reasoning capacity, especially in young men — is not fully formed until their mid-to-late-20’s.”

But yet, Governor Northam and ASHA want to encourage kids as young as 13 to make decisions about sex and sexuality that will impact the rest of their lives — and they are implementing that plan by making an end-run around the God-given authority of parents. Not only that, but Michael points to the financial irresponsibility of Northam’s sex textline. Virginia is in the middle of “a big budget crunch and yet they’re spending money trying to get teenagers to text complete strangers about sex, about contraception, abortion, and sexually transmitted diseases.”

As to Michael’s concern that governor Northam’s sex textline is a form of “sexual grooming” of kids, the next article in this series will address that issue, drawing from the experience of a former private investigator in Virginia who spent years investigating such cases.

Another Virginia parent of teens who spoke to The New American is Mike Seeley. Mike and his wife, Anna, live near Powhatan. They are the parents of 13 kids (10 boys, three girls) ranging from less than two years old to 26. Among their brood of children, Mike and Anna have a handful of teenagers.

Mike said they had either not received the postcards or they were thrown out as junk mail. I sent mike a copy of the postcard, and he said, “My first thought was, ‘Here we go again. This is another step in the decades-long attempt by the State to circumvent the parents’ authority — not only the parental authority to teach their children, but the moral authority of parents to instill morals in their children.’” He went on to say, “This is the State swooping in to say, ‘No, no, no. Don’t listen to your stone-age parents here. Here is what we do nowadays — we use contraception, we use these other types of things. You go ahead and do these activities that your parents might tell you otherwise or might deem to be inappropriate or immoral, but this is the 2000’s, you go ahead and do this. And if you find yourself pregnant, we have ways to take care of that.’”

Mike called this “another manifestation” of what began with sex-ed classes in public schools, adding that it’s “another approach to get kids away from the morals their parents may want to instill in them.”

When asked if he is concerned that his teens may fall prey to something like this — having questions about sex or sexuality that they may not want to ask mom and dad, but might be willing to text to a stranger — Mike answered, “I would like to think that my kids wouldn’t do this because we try to do our best to have open conversations with our kids.” Mike was quick to add, “Maybe we do a good job of that and maybe we don’t, but I would like to think my kids would look at this and go, ‘Psh. I’m not texting some complete stranger who I have no idea who he or she is, where he or she is, what his or her background is.’” But, Mike realizes what Michael Lewis realized about brain development in teens, adding, “However, teenagers are teenagers, and they don’t always do the things we want them to do.”

Mike makes an interesting point, saying that teens who “don’t have an environment [at home] that makes it easy for them to approach a parent” are probably much more likely to fall prey to something like this. When asked what he thinks parents should be doing to protect their kids, Mike said:

I think it’s a two-pronged approach: First, parents have to take the initiative to educate their children — kids have to have the moral foundation with which they’re going to hopefully make something close to the correct decision. If you just leave a kid out there in the wilds — to try to figure things out themselves with the enormous social pressures that we have these days — they’re likely going to make the incorrect decision. So, the first thing is to make sure they have the beginnings of a properly formed conscience to help enable them to make the proper decisions.

That being said, the second thing is that — knowing that kids are kids and temptations are temptations and passions exist — you also have to take the necessary and prudent steps that you can to minimize those temptations and those attacks from without. For example, pornography on the Internet, the kid’s got a device in their hand, and they’re a few button clicks away from all sorts of stuff. And so, as a parent, in addition to teaching them, ‘You shouldn’t look at that stuff,’ you also — knowing teenage boys to be teenage boys [and this writer would insert and teenage girls to be teenage girls] — you have to take proactive steps to mitigate those risks.

Mike works in the IT industry and suggests that parents either set their home router up to deny those types of sites or — for an easier approach for those less tech-savvy — install an Internet filter and reporting software (mike suggests something like Covenant Eyes) that your kids are aware of. With such an app running on all devices the child or teen may use, even if they do give into temptation, mom and dad get a report of that website visit and “you can have the appropriate conversation afterwards.”

Another Virginia parent of both teens and younger kids who spoke to The New American is Meghan Doran. Meghan and her husband, Bill, live in Midlothian, where they are raising their nine kids ranging in age from infant to almost 18. Meghan and Bill agree that the primary responsibility to educate kids about sex and sexuality belongs to the parents and that this is an attempt on the part of the State to further usurp that authority. Meghan is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom and Bill teaches Theology, Philosophy, and Latin at an all boy’s Catholic high school in the Richmond area.

Meghan told The New American, “As officials of the State, they are asking my children to anonymously — I don’t know who these people are and how they are vetted — contact them with questions that I wouldn’t want them to contact their own grandmother about without me being involved.”

Meghan echoed some of Mike’s sentiments about parents taking seriously their responsibilities. She said, “If parents already have the issue of kids who are doing things online without their parents’ knowledge — behind their backs — sexual things or whatever, then there’s already something — a huge, fundamental issue — that no amount of law making can solve.”

The Dorans do take both their authority as parents and their responsibilities as parents seriously. They regularly engage their kids in age-appropriate conversations about life, sex and sexuality, morals, and religion. Meghan said that when it comes to questions about sex and sexuality, a strong relationship between kids and their parents is essential in helping kids ask those questions to “the right people.” When asked, “Who are the right people?” Meghan relpied, “The first person is a parent. So, if you already have a missing relationship here with your kids, they are not going to you to ask questions about sex first, and their first thought is, ‘I’m going to [what appears to be] a government website to look up this stuff,’ then you’ve already got a huge problem.”

Meghan is right; We already have a huge problem. And — as per usual — the government “solution” is worse than the problem.

Meghan said, “This government is taking advantage of a huge hole in our society.” She added that the “huge hole” is that “relationships between parents and kids have become so skewed that we even have sex-ed classes in school — because who [in previous generations] would have ever thought we’d have gotten to that point?”

She says that she and Bill are open to their kids about a range of topics, including sex and sexuality, morals, and consequences for choices. If a child is old enough to ask a question about a topic, they are old enough to hear an age-appropriate answer. She said, “They know they can come to us with any question and we’re not going to be scandalized or shocked or act like we don’t know what they are talking about.” She added, “It helps that we have a lot of kids, so when I’m pregnant and the kids who are 10 or 12 years old — it’s a very easy transition to talk to them about the development of the baby in the womb. So there’s a whole lot of bodily questions for a young girl [the Dorans’ boys are both very young]. And when the girls are about 10-12 years old, depending on their development, I start to talk to them a little more clearly about their cycle and what it’s for and the point of that whole beautiful woman’s body that’s being created for them.” That way, “it’s not a mystery for them when changes start happening.” So, “even though they might be scared or weirded out by it, they come to me and ask, because we’ve already talked about it.” So honesty, respect, and openness breed trust. What a novel concept.

She said that those conversations are all in the context of “what are purity and modesty and what are they for?” When asked how she and Bill would respond to one of their girls coming to them to ask about feelings of sexual attraction to a boy, Meghan said with her girls, she has had questions about attraction to boys. She said, “First, if nothing physical has happened, then the feeling aren’t super strong, because you haven’t done anything to provoke them. The feelings are there, but just as a calling — a normal attraction.” That distinction is why Meghan says it is important to have these conversations all along, so that you can prevent kids from “crossing that line” and seeing feelings go from “a normal attraction” to “a fire.” She added, “When those questions have been asked, then the response is, ‘That’s totally normal. And that’s O.K. You’ve been given these feelings for a reason. Because one day you’re supposed to get married and have children. So that is what these feelings are for.’” That is followed up with, “But you understand that you can’t act on those feelings, because if you do, an attachment follows and it will make it very difficult for you to think clearly about this young man.”

Given even the brief sampling of parents this writer spoke to for this article, the choice between having concerned, dedicated parents educating their kids about sex and sexuality and handing that over to an anonymous textline administered by God-knows-who is a no-brainer.

Parents are the custodians of their children — that includes forming their morals and consciences and teaching them the rights and wrongs of the birds and the bees.

This is the second article in a series about the sex textline for teens. The first article addresses the textline itself. The next article in this series will address the “sexual grooming” nature of the textline and how it endangers kids by making them easier targets of sexual predators.

Largest Texas County Adds Noncitizens to Voter Rolls

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) — a public-interest law firm dedicated to election integrity that has been involved in legal cases in nine states and the District of Columbia — filed a lawsuit against Harris County, Texas, on September 28, asserting that the state’s largest county has allowed foreign nationals to register to vote. In a petition filed in the Court of Appeals for the 14th District of Texas in Houston, PILF seeks to compel Harris County Voter Registrar Ann Bennett to follow Texas election laws and reject insufficient voter applications.

Harris County, which includes Houston, had more than four million people in the last census, and is the largest county by population in Texas.

A September 28 report in Texas Scorecard noted: “Only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in Texas elections, and it’s a violation of both state and federal law for non-citizens to vote or register to vote. But in Texas and elsewhere, registering to vote requires no documentation to verify citizenship — applicants merely check a box affirming they’re U.S. citizens.”

A PILF report stated that voter registration applications used by both the U.S. Government and the state of Texas include a direct question: “Are you a citizen of the United States?” However, when PILF researched into Harris County records they discovered a repeating problem of individuals answering “NO,” yet they were registered anyway.

The report quoted PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams, who said, “The [PILF] Foundation made a federal case to access to these records — now we see what the fight was all for. Individuals claiming to be foreign nationals should not be registered in Harris County. These failures harm citizens, but they also put those immigrants into serious jeopardy with federal officials. We hope to see swift action prior to the voting this fall.”

The petition stated the nature of the case as follows:

Respondent’s office has consistently approved applications for voter registration for facially ineligible registrants. In particular, Respondent registers to vote applicants that do not affirm and answer “YES” to the question “Are you a United States citizen?” and also answer “NO” to the same question, even though Texas law requires her to reject those applications. Tex. Elec. Code § 13.072(c).

The petition included copies of actual voter registration applications clearly showing that the applicants had checked the “No” box after the question: “Are you a United States Citizen?”

A pair of articles in The New American from August and November 2018 exposed the illegal practice of cities registering non-citizens to vote. The earlier article cited PILF’s statement that non-Americans have been added to voter rolls in key battleground states such as Pennsylvania and Virginia. PILF found that a significant portion of those illegally registered have been able to cast their ballots. In May 2017, PILF issued a report stating that in Virginia, 5,556 non-citizens were removed from the voting rolls between 2011 and May 2017. The PILF report also found that 1,852 of them had cast ballots.

Trump Declares National Emergency as China Monopolizes Rare Earth Elements

The U.S. Army plans to fund construction of rare earths processing facilities, part of an urgent push by Washington to secure domestic supply of the minerals used to make military weapons and electronics, according to a government document seen by Reuters. The move would mark the first financial investment by the U.S. military into commercial-scale rare earths production since World War Two's Manhattan Project built the first atomic bomb. It comes after President Donald Trump earlier this year ordered the military to update its supply chain for the niche materials, warning that reliance on other nations for the strategic minerals could hamper U.S. defenses. The day after debating Joe Biden in his bid for another four years in the White House, President Trump declared a national emergency. It concerns the virtual monopoly the communists running China have gained over an obscure but vitally necessary group of 17 minerals called “rare earth elements,” or REEs. They are used to build a wide range of products, both consumer and military.

There is no known substitute for them, and China controls most of their production.

In his Executive Order, the president said, “I, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, find that a strong America cannot be dependent on imports from foreign adversaries for the critical minerals that are increasingly necessary to maintain our economic and military strength in the 21st century.”

It is now national policy “to reduce the Nation’s vulnerability to disruptions in the supply of critical minerals.” He warned: “Our dependence on one country, the People’s Republic of China (China), for multiple critical minerals is particularly concerning. The United States now imports 80 percent of its rare earth elements directly from China, with portions of the remainder indirectly sourced from China through other countries.”

His executive order detailed how important just three of the REEs are to the United States:

The United States also disproportionately depends on foreign sources for barite. The United States imports over 75 percent of the barite it consumes, and over 50 percent of its barite imports come from China. Barite is of critical importance to the hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) industry, which is vital to the energy independence of the United States.

The United States depends on foreign sources for 100 percent of its gallium, with China producing around 95 percent of the global supply. Gallium-based semiconductors are indispensable for cellphones, blue and violet light-emitting diodes (LEDs), diode lasers, and fifth-generation (5G) telecommunications.

Like for gallium, the United States is 100 percent reliant on imports for graphite, which is used to make advanced batteries for cellphones, laptops, and hybrid and electric cars. China produces over 60 percent of the world’s graphite and almost all of the world’s production of high-purity graphite needed for rechargeable batteries.

He declared the nation’s dependence upon China a national emergency:

I therefore determine that our Nation’s undue reliance on critical minerals, in processed or unprocessed form, from foreign adversaries constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat, which has its source in substantial part outside the United States, to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.

I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that threat.

That threat has been building for years and has been largely ignored by previous administrations. According to China scholar and co-founder of the strategic consulting firm Horizon Advisory Emily de La Bruyere, China has taken advantage of the COVID virus crisis to promote its takeover of world production of those 17 critical elements.

She explained:

The PRC [People’s Republic of China] has been focused on rare earths for as long as [the industry] has existed. Chinese sources explicitly treat rare earths as tools of power — and coercion — in today’s globalized industrial system.

This orientation rests on China’s military-civil fusion strategy: Beijing weaponizes integration into open, cooperative global systems for offensive ends.

In a White House press release issued Wednesday, the president said, “Though these minerals are indispensable to our country, we presently lack the capacity to produce them in processed form in the quantities we need.… We must reduce our vulnerability to adverse foreign government action.… Our national security, foreign policy, and economy require a consistent supply of each of these minerals.”

Accordingly, his executive order urges department heads of all executive offices to start reducing regulatory requirements and licensing restrictions on American mining companies. In addition, the order is offering federal financial assistance to those companies to expand local production and processing of those FEEs.

The United States is late to the game, said Joe Bryan, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center. In the race for control of FEEs, “the United States is getting lapped” by the communists running China. President Trump’s order is needed now more than ever.

So Much for Protestant Christianity, Trump Says “Anti-Catholic Bigotry” Has No Place in the USA

Donald Trump, addressing the leftist attacks on Judge Barrett at the Al Smith Dinner tonight, defended Roman Catholics, stating that America is strong because of Catholicism. While Trump was directly addressing the anti-religious freedom rhetoric of the Democrat party, he appeared to inadvertently indict the whole of Protestant Christianity, of which the beliefs this nation was actually founded upon.

Historically, there is no group of people more “anti-Catholic” than Protestant Christians. Not atheists, not Muslims, not Democrats. Protestant Christianity was founded on the notion that Catholicism is a perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ and, in fact, are protesting the Roman Catholic harlot.

Protestant Christians do not believe that Roman Catholicism adds anything to the strength of this nation and certainly not to the strength of the Church — they are, in fact, the false Church.

Rittenhouse’s attorney, Lin Wood, took that as a libelous charge against his client, Kyle Rittenhouse, and announced his plan to sue Joe Biden and his presidential campaign for libel.

After issuing a formal demand for retraction, and the Biden campaign’s refusal to do so, said he’s going to teach Joe Biden a lesson he’ll never forget.

It is clear why the Biden Team had approved Wallace for the role of moderator. It was so outrageous that even the vapid media companies, which are so dedicated to slandering Trump, felt that it was unbearable. Black Lives Matter Leaders Support Violent Riots, Biden Won’t Condemn Them

If Biden won’t condemn Black Lives Matter, he supports its riots.

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/10/black-lives-matter-leaders-support-violent-riots-daniel-greenfield/;

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

After the recent toll of mostly peaceful Black Lives Matter rioting wrecked cities and tilted the polls toward Trump, Joe Biden and even Kamala Harris began condemning “violence”.

Biden has said meaningless things like "we condemn the violence", and "I condemn this violence unequivocally" as if violence were an independent entity. Condemning violence, like condemning war, is either pacifism or evasion. Since Biden isn’t a pacifist, he’s evading.

Violence is a concept. You don’t condemn a concept: you condemn its perpetrators.

The Democrats embraced Black Lives Matter, they even fundraised on behalf of the rioters and looters. Senator Kamala Harris tweeted out a link to the Minnesota Freedom Fund which bailed out rioters and looters, and Jaleel Stallings, who was accused of shooting at police officers.

According to police officers, Stallings had crouched near a car during the riots and opened fire on them. He faced two counts of attempted second-degree murder and the bail fund backed by Kamala Harris and several Biden staffers still bailed out the alleged wannabe cop-killer.

Once Biden goes into details, then his condemnation of “violence” actually turns out to be a condemnation of cops and conservatives. Or, as he put it, “I have condemned all forms of violence – police violence, lawless violence and violence perpetrated by extreme, right-wing militia groups.” When he condemns “violence”, he really means he’s condemning the police.

The closest that Biden comes to condemning the violence by Black Lives Matter, a racist domestic terrorist group which has devastated entire cities, is condemning the “lawless”. And he does it so vaguely as not to offend BLM and its supporters while giving the shopkeepers whose lifetime of work, his supporters burned to the ground, the false impression he stands with them.

Biden’s toothless condemnations of “violence” are a meaningless cowardly evasion of moral responsibility. He’ll even occasionally condemn “looting or destroying property or burning churches” without naming who’s going around looting, destroying, and burning churches.

Burning churches is a bad thing. But not so bad that Biden will name the church burners. And when Biden fails to condemn Black Lives Matter, he supports its violent riots.

Even while the media falsely claims that the riots are peaceful, the hate group’s co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi, have not been asked to condemn it. On the rare occasions when they’ve been asked about it, they’re deflected or dismissed the violence.

Ask BLM’s co-founders about the hate group’s violent riots and they’ll typically reframe the question by dismissing it as a mere issue of property and claim that they value life more. That’s despite the fact that hundreds of first responders and civilians have been wounded in the riots.

Speaking at a Penn State virtual event, Cullors described rioters as "expressing righteous rage" and suggested that society needs to avoid situations where "people feel like they have to be so desperate that they disrupt people’s businesses.” Not only didn’t the Black Lives Matter co-founder condemn her movement’s violence, she justified it, while denouncing capitalism.

Cullors, who has in the past been paid $10,000 to appear at virtual college events, is represented by CAA, the top talent agency in the country which was accused of complicity in Harvey Weinstein’s abuses, and whose clients include Tom Cruise and Robert De Niro.

She’s also the author of “When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir”, with an introduction by Angela Davis, a domestic terrorist who endorsed Biden, and an opening quote from Assata Shakur, a black nationalist cop-killer listed by the FBI as a most wanted terrorist.

That quote from the fugitive cop killer, "It is our duty to fight for our freedom" has become a BLM chant  It appears in Shakur’s biography just after she indirectly mentions the shootout that killed Trooper Werner Foerster and hails the “guerrillas” of her Black Liberation Army terrorist group.

The phrase just before the chant is, “We must gain our liberation by any means necessary”.

After the chant is a dedication to, among other black nationalist terrorists, Mark Essex, a racist killer who opened fire on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans killing, among others, a honeymooning couple. Betty Steagall was shot in the back of her head while embracing her murdered husband. Essex left a Black Liberation flag lying near the corpses of the doctor and his wife.

This is not the chant of a peaceful movement, but of a violently racist terrorist organization. And it’s been utilized by Democrats, including the Arizona Senate Democrat caucus.

“I just don’t equate the loss of life and the loss of property,” Alicia Garza, another BLM co-founder, replied, when asked about the violence. “We want to value our love of people over property.”

Not only did Garza fail to condemn the violence, she reduced it to a question of property, while reframing the violent riots as a love of people over property. Property, like violence, is an abstraction, a way to avoid confronting what happens when people are terrorized, when the small shop they’ve poured their life and dreams into goes up in flames, while BLM’s founders get tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to condemn capitalism and defend the looting.

When the National Guard was sent to Baltimore, Garza complained that the soldiers were “standing between Black people and access to resources, they are protecting property”.

"I’ll be really honest: I’m not really concerned about broken glass," Opal Tometi, the third BLM co-founder, argued. "Property can be replaced, people cannot."

Not only do all of Black Lives Matter co-founders find ways to justify the violent riots, but some local chapters, which have more control, have been more direct about supporting the violence.

After the massive outbreak of looting in Chicago, Black Lives Matter Chicago issued a press release describing looters as protesters, and claimed that the products in the stores were "hoarded" wealth. The official press release ranted that "black lives are and always will be more important than downtown corporations" and claimed that, "when protesters attack high-end retail stores that are owned by the wealthy and service the wealthy, that is not 'our' city."

Black Lives Matter Chicago organizer Ariel Atkins called the looting, “reparations", claimed that, “winning has come through riots,” and declared, "I will support the looters."

“Anything they want to take, take it,” she said.

Hawk Newsome, the Greater New York Chair of BLM, refused to condemn looting and instead claimed that America is based on looting.

“People just manifested it in different ways. Some people there just raised their fists and said 'I stand with the masses.' Other people were there to destroy things,” Newsome had said earlier of the Minneapolis BLM riots.

Melina Abdullah, the lead organizer of Black Lives Matter in Los Angeles, whose chapter has collaborated with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, had its rally lead to multiple attacks on Jewish synagogues and businesses complete with antisemitic chants and graffiti.

Before the rioting began, her daughter, and the co-founder of the BLM Youth Vanguard, ranted, “I know you want to tear some s___ up... if you want to set some corporations on fire, you know what? I don’t care about Target burning. I don’t care that capitalism burns. I don’t care that white people in their f____ office buildings are upset."

Abdullah, like her hate group’s co-founders, dismissed the rioting. “The looting is not as violent as the police violence that is the source of the protesting. Focusing on broken windows is a deliberate decision.”

Much like Kristalnacht.

The media has repeatedly mischaracterized Black Lives Matter riots as “mostly peaceful” as long as there is a prologue during which the racists at the rally chant slogans before the violence begins. This is a fundamental distortion of the truth. A peaceful march ends peacefully. A violent rally ends violently. A mostly peaceful march is really a violent riot.

Would you go out and meet someone if they told you it would be a mostly peaceful encounter?

A peaceful event has to be peaceful all the time. Or it’s violent. A mostly peaceful event is like a mostly non-toxic toothpaste, a mostly safe ladder, or a mostly solid bridge. Mostly counts when it comes to statistics, not when it comes to harm and danger. Most serial killers were mostly peaceful. They spent less than 1% of their time hunting and killing their victims.

That’s not what peaceful means. Like Biden’s condemnations of violence, it’s an evasion.

Nobody in the media bothers to ask or discuss whether the Black Lives Matter philosophy and ideology is peaceful. That’s because there’s a large body of evidence that shows it isn’t. Instead the media nods along as BLM leaders pull the same tired old trick of reframing their movement’s violence as an affirmation of the value of black lives and reduce their victims to “property”.

Black Lives Matter violence springs directly from the violent ideology of black nationalism. The movement’s leaders make no secret of drawing their inspiration from domestic terrorists like Assata Shakur and Angela Davis. Democrats and their media choose to ignore these facts.

After the poll numbers turned against both Black Lives Matter violence and the movement, Joe Biden began condemning the violence, as if it exists apart from its perpetrators, without condemning the violent movement whose rioters were carrying out the violence.

Anyone can condemn an abstract evil. The challenge is condemning the perpetrators.

Joe Biden refuses to condemn Black Lives Matter. He can’t. They’re part of his base. While Americans are increasingly turning against the racist hate group, Democrats still back it. After months of rioting, support for Black Lives Matter has dropped 12% among Americans, but only 4% among Democrats, 92% of whom still support the violent black nationalist movement.

And so Joe’s trying to have it both ways. He’s condemning the violence while allying with the violent. He won’t disavow BLM or his endorsement from Angela Davis, while claiming to oppose violence. He’s refusing to condemn the perpetrators, while condemning the outcome.

That’s as worthless as his career and his candidacy.

If you support the violent, you support the violence. If your campaign and your veep help fund bail for a group bailing out rioters and an attempted cop-killer, you can’t claim, as Biden does, to oppose violence “across the board”. Until Biden publicly breaks with the Black Lives Matter movement and condemns its violence by name, he’s complicit in every burned store, every wounded cop, every terrorized child, every lost job, and every broken American city.

“Democrats will ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines"

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Former Vice President Joe Biden is the captain now.

“The party is me,” Biden said during the presidential debate. “Right now, I am the Democratic Party. I am the Democratic Party right now.”

The debate didn’t touch on gun control. Amidst the arguing and speaking over one another, the candidates touched on Supreme Court nominees, law enforcement, riots, and looting. The topic of gun rights or gun control wasn’t addressed. The former vice president, though, told the American public exactly where he is on gun control when he uttered that phrase. He wants more of it. Lots more.

The Democratic Party adopted the Biden-Harris platform at their convention earlier this year that laid out their plans to enact unprecedented gun control. It’s a ban plan, an elimination plan, and a watchlist plan that will strip law-abiding Americans of their God-given rights and do nothing to address crime reduction.

Ban Plan

“Democrats will ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines,” their plan reads. The party maligns the modern sporting rifle by attempting to equate it with an automatic firearm used by the military. What they want to ban are semiautomatic firearms simply over cosmetic features and make technology that is more than 100 years old illegal. They would ban the manufacture and sale the most popular-selling centerfire rifle on the market today.

Elimination Plan

The Biden-Harris plan would eliminate “online sales of guns and ammunition” denying Americans the ability to shop online and purchase firearms, which can only be transferred by the retailer to the customer in a face-to-face transaction after a mandatory FBI background check. That background check, too, would be required for every transfer of a firearm. Biden’s plan would criminalize private firearm transfers, whether that be a sale, a father handing a shotgun down to his child, sisters lending their handgun to one another, or lifelong friends swapping guns as collectibles. That right would be eliminated, and worse, criminalized.

Watchlist Plan

That’s not all Biden wants. His plan to enact universal background checks would create registries that would put innocent Americans on government watchlists. That’s a regulation that is barred by federal law, but they’ve got a plan for that. He would force states to create a licensing scheme for firearm ownership and Americans would be forced to pay a fee to exercise a right. Illinois gives insight to the calamity that awaits. Illinois has among the strictest gun control laws, but the Firearms Owner Identification (FOID) Card system is a train wreck. The state has a backlog of more than three months and more than 135,000 applications to process a card to allow citizens to exercise their rights.

Biden proposes to go further and mandate how a firearm is stored in the home. Biden disregards the U.S. Supreme Court struck such a requirement in the landmark 2008 Heller decision. The opinion written by the late Justice Antonin Scalia did more than affirm the Second Amendment is an individual right. That decision also struck down the District of Columbia’s law that a firearm must be kept in the home with a trigger lock as unconstitutional.

This is the ship that Biden is piloting. The ship has no rudder. U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said the party would drift further left if Biden is elected. Biden is putting his party on a collision course with the Constitution, the Supreme Court, and voters. Biden is the captain now.
