Marxist-Raised Raskin Proposes Starting Civil War by Denying Trump Election Eligibility

“Firebrand Leftist Jamie Raskin Said Congress Must ‘Disqualify’ Trump, Predicted ‘Civil War Conditions’,” The Federalist reported Tuesday. “In a video clip making the rounds Monday on social media, the far-left firebrand laments what he characterizes as a lazy U.S. Supreme Court interfering with the Democratic Party’s plan to interfere with the 2024 election.”

Raskin is complaining that the justices won’t do the Democrats’ dirty work for them.

Per SCOTUSblog, the high court wouldn’t agree to let Special Counsel Jack Smith leapfrog “a federal appeals court [before judgment and] weigh in [on] whether former President Donald Trump can be tried on criminal charges that he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election.” That’s especially prudent considering that Smith isn’t even a legally appointed counsel (per The Wall Street Journal commentary, “Federal prosecutors must be duly appointed and confirmed by the Senate. He fails both tests.”)

“And so [the court] want to kick it to Congress, so it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025 to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said in a book store panel discussion last February that’s gaining renewed attention now." “And then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions all because nine justices — not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not much work to do, have a huge staff, great protection — simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means.”

With no dissents to a brief, unsigned order that simply states, “The petition for writ of certiorari before judgment is denied,” Raskin can’t say “not all of them.” It may be a good indicator that even the court’s “progressives” think Democrat radicals are treading dangerous waters. As for the 14th Amendment, he was referring to Section 3:

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

But Donald Trump hasn’t been convicted of anything, has he? Perhaps this will help drive home the foolish evil of “due process later” for him. Expediting an immunity denial ruling could result in Trump becoming ineligible to hold office before the election, which is what Raskin and the radicals want, in essence, to have the courts absolve mob inciters like him of accountability and mass public wrath.

It’s curious, how the most strident voices hiding behind the “our democracy” lie want to deny a voting choice to the half of the country that opposes their politics, and have that dictated by the courts, leaving the representatives of the people out of the loop.

Raskin wants to impose rules by Democrats, and those of us who disagree don’t get a say. He doesn’t think that will be a catalyst for that “civil war” he’s trying to start. How is the rhetoric he’s employing to stir that pot less incendiary than what Donald Trump said before, during, and after January 6? Millions of Americans don’t believe the parroted media narrative that questioning the results of the election is “baseless.” They see that the January 6 Committee left out key evidence, and that the Department of Justice/FBI has been politicized against traditional Americans and “conservative values.”

It’s revealing that Raskin is saying out loud what less vocal Democrats are thinking—because they don’t all represent “safe” districts and still need to keep up more moderate appearances. Defeating his Republican challenger 211,842 to 47,965 in Maryland District 8’s 2022 election, Raskin feels free to say whatever he wants and count on a local electorate stupid enough to continue ceding power to, let’s face it, a Marxist weasel who daily demonstrates the rotten fruit doesn’t fall far from the corrupt tree.

“Progressive Congressman Defends Father’s Soviet Ties,” Accuracy in Media reported in 2017. Marcus Raskin, founder of the Marxist-promoting Institute for Policy Studies, was reportedly instrumental “in arranging conferences with Soviet officials during the Cold War, for the purpose of undermining then-President Ronald Reagan’s anti-communist policies.”

Unsurprisingly, Raskin is a rabid agent of Soviet-style citizen disarmament, leading, again unsurprisingly, to Giffords gun prohibitionists to describe him as “a passionate critic of our nation’s lax gun laws and one of the most prominent gun safety champions on Capitol Hill.”

And also unsurprisingly, While he’s the one bemoaning civil war if he succeeds in denying half the country its choice for president, he dismisses the Second Amendment as being an ultimate check against tyranny as “a constitutional joke“:

“My friend from Texas, Mr. Roy, advances the so-called insurrectionist view of the Second Amendment, that the second amendment’s purpose is to give the people the right to overthrow or fight our government or fight the police or threaten armed resistance if the government is somehow being unfair or unjust,” Raskin said. “This reading is totally and absolutely absurd and flies in the face of the place text of the constitution.”

We know he’s a liar when he describes the representative of citizens he would crush if he could as a “friend.” As for the rest, any number of Founding Fathers would disagree with him. Including committed federalist Alexander Hamilton, who acknowledged in his advocacy for the Constitution:

“If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government…”

Red Jamie would leave us with no resources left.

Radical Marxist groups, including some with ties to China, are planning protests at the Chicago Democratic Convention this year. What is so surprising is that there are so many Democrats so surprised. They question why groups they have supported with resources and fiery speeches would turn against them. Democrats have coddled and loved the Marxists with glowing praise while condemning their opponents with the harshest of rhetoric and most disparaging of words. These naïve souls are still in need of history lessons that the federal Department of Education does not mandate nor provide.

Many have at least noted that this is “like the 1968 Democrat Convention” all over again, when protests and riots scarred the convention and its nominee, Senator Hubert Humphrey. But this time it will be far worse. The extreme left Marxists’ and radical Islamists’ influence of the Democratic Party’s leadership should have made their intentions clear. They want a very radical takeover. They want a revolution. They have made astonishing progress in the wake of the Obama administration’s fundamental transformation into a much more socialist, anti-Christian nation with the government’s radical politicalization of federal departments. That means the Marxists and radical Islamists are very close to their takeover.

I do not think Attorney General Merrick Garland is a Marxist or a radical Islamist; however, those groups have been able to nurture and grow the venom within him, perhaps over his being disregarded for the Supreme Court. If the radical takeover is complete, Garland will either have to finish his abandonment of things he once held dear and complete his turn on the dark side, or be crushed as a tool no longer usable.

The notorious assassin known as Carlos the Jackal once said “Only a coalition of Marxists and Islamists can destroy the United States.” That was quite prescient. One of the great ironies is that the coalition has some Islamists supporting sexual orientations that would get the proponent killed in their own Islamic country of origin or preference. Another irony is that each group thinks that once they provoke and win the revolution, they will be able to take over and discard the other group that joined them. It’s a bit like the treaty between Hitler’s socialist workers party and Stalin’s communist party. Both leaders intended to break the deal from the beginning.

True Islamists do not want a Marxist government at all when they take over; true Marxists do not want ANY religious group involved in the communist hierarchy when they takeover. Of course, we read and hear from mega-millionaires and billionaires who have helped fund the disastrous end to freedom and self-government that they hope is near.

It is not much consolation that the mega-wealthy have been victims of very poor history lessons. So they apparently are not aware that in either a Marxist or Islamic takeover, the mega-wealthy do not even get a “thank you” for funding the takeover. Their wealth is normally just taken, and the former wealthy person is either killed or sent to a gulag or prison.

It has been my privilege to be a friend of David Horowitz and now a Senior Fellow with his Freedom Center. I majored in history, but have learned so much from David’s books and our conversations over nearly two decades. David was in on the planning of those “protests” at the 1968 Democrat convention. I have read his accounts of some of those planning sessions and the leaders’ thoughts.

But I was perplexed and asked, “David, why did you guys plan for all the protests and riots at the Democratic Convention?" They were going to nominate an acknowledged liberal of that decade, Hubert Humphrey. Why wouldn’t you as communist leaders go after the Republican Convention where they would nominate Richard Nixon, who was obviously no friend of liberals. Nixon was going after communists in Congress before he was Vice President.”

I love David’s expressive nature. He holds nothing back. He said, “Louie, we were communists!" Our saying was ‘the worse, the better.’” He went on to say that Humphrey had supported the war in Vietnam and had been anti-communist. But he said there was also concern that if Humphrey won the Presidency, it would be more difficult to get young people rioting out in the streets. Some felt that if Nixon won, it would be easier to get college students to riot out in the streets. So there was a better chance of a revolution with Nixon.

One of the cracks in David Horowitz’s communist armor came when discussions turned to creating so much harassment and assault on police that police finally killed some of the protesters. The goal of getting some of their own friends and supporters killed really concerned David.

It also seems to me that some Jewish Democrat supporters are currently in a bit of shock seeing the combined Marxist and Islamic left coming after Jews. However, recent clashes on college campuses in defending the malevolent brutality, torture, rape and murder of Jews on October 7 last year have made fairly clear where all this is going.

The Liberal Democrats should understand that their condemnation and cries for removal of Israeli leaders who are striving to prevent another holocaust will not win them much in the way of favor from the Marxist and jihadist Jewish-haters when or if they take over.

Please know that the effort of Marxists to create the revolution in the West has not dissipated since those violent days of the late 1960’s. They have chosen to use our education and media systems to propagate their hate in a more civil way. But now some of the revolutionaries see a victory to eliminate our self-governing republic so close, they are almost giddy. If they are successful, there will be so many rank and file Democrats saying, “Wait! I have never supported THIS!” But at that point, it will be too late_ they may not have intentionally supported the revolution, but they certainly took joy in beating down and mocking those who wanted to keep our freedom. Please wake up now.

David Horowitz has written some extraordinary books during his life. However, he told me last week, before I read his brand new one, that he felt it was the best thing he had ever written. I read it and was blown away. Reading should require reading for every student in America, but it explains our founding and truly unparalleled pursuit of equality and freedom like no one ever has. The sheer clarity of wisdom in America's Betrayed unambiguously establishes that evil is at work to destroy this great republic. People have got to understand the side they have chosen before November, and reading David’s new book will make that demonstrably apparent.

Maryland: Marxist Teachers Union official makes list of wealthy Jews she calls ‘gluttons and thieves,’ blames Trump

Meanwhile, this hate-filled creature epitomizes how the Left’s identification with the “Palestinian” jihad — which they cast as a struggle of the brown oppressed against the white oppressor — leads to open Jew hatred.

“Teachers Union Official Compiled List Of Nearby Wealthy Jews, Calling Them ‘Gluttons And Thieves,’” by Luke Rosiak, DailyWire.com, December 4, 2023:

A Maryland teacher is on leave while the school system investigates her for a string of anti-Semitic social media posts that included creating a list of wealthy Jews in her county, claiming they horde wealth while contributing nothing to society, and calling for “class war.”

Angela Wolf is head of the English Language Development department, which caters to immigrant children, at Takoma Park Middle School, in the most leftist enclave of liberal Montgomery County. Though she was temporarily removed from school, she remains a board member of the Montgomery County Education Association, one of the largest teachers union locals in the country representing 14,000 staff. 

Her Facebook posts included a drawing of an Israeli tank pointing a tank gun at babies in a hospital NICU, and saying “Enemy in sight!” As the war wages against the Hamas terrorists who murdered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7, she has posted frequently against Israel. On November 16, she commended “bus operators at Dulles who refused to transport Zionists to the pro-Israel rally,” adding that “their solidarity with the victims of Israeli genocide should be commended.”

On October 28, she shared a post saying, “It is not a war — it is a slaughter. Israel determined to make Gaza uninhabitable.”

In December 2020, well before the conflict in Israel, she wrote:

Four of the five billionaires she named are Jewish except Saul, who happens to have a common Jewish name.

In response to criticism, she claimed — referring the the group of people with names like Rubenstein — that she had “no idea these billionaires are Jewish or that my word choice had an [sic] historic significance for the Jewish community. The diatribe against these two words has turned the discussion into a fallacious attack … People are angry at teachers a particular politician or the poor. I have read no attacks on the 1% … who have NOT ‘earned’ ‘their wealth.’”

She said “They use their accumulated wealth to further their own interests” and blamed their hoarding for students falling behind while teachers unions refused to work because of COVID. “There should be little question that staying home should NOT equal mental health crises for kids and communities angry because school staff also need to be home,” she wrote.

When someone else criticized her for her anti-Semitic posts, she responded by calling former President Donald Trump a “scumbag” and said, “Fear is leading to censorship. I hope this person gets anti-imperialism and joins us in the struggle … No war but class war!”…
