We've been warning about HB 230, the gender transition bill which would allow the state to use the emergency jurisdiction of minors to "transition" them! The bill was quietly removed last week, but was replaced with HB 346!

*IMPORTANT: Just this month, documents were leaked from WPATH, the leading transgender "experts" that the sponsors of HB 346 rely on for their information. The documents show that although WPATH publicly advocates for gender transitioning, they privately recognize that minors and vulnerable adults cannot fully consent to gender transition treatment.

There are lawsuits across the country from young adults who are suffering the consequences of their gender transition. They were lured into it as minors, before they had even taken high school biology, and yet recommended this experimental "treatment" that left them sterile, sexually dysfunctional, and lifelong dependents on the pharmaceutical industry. There are disproportionately high concentrations of autism, severe mental health struggles, and histories of sexual abuse among individuals who transition, further preventing their ability to give informed consent.

Delaware activists, in the name of "care," are leaving this vulnerable population completely defenseless against the harms of their radical agenda, which results in sterilization, sexual dysfunction, and complications for life.

The transgender industry gives billions of dollars to pharmaceutical companies who manufacture drugs for puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and drugs needed for surgeries. These are drugs that individuals who transition have to take for the rest of their lives.

Puberty blockers have not been FDA approved for use in minors for gender transition. WPATH admitted that there are no long-term studies on the benefits or harms of gender transition drugs and surgeries.

European countries such as the UK, Norway, and Finland, as well as 22 US states, have restricted or banned these surgeries and drugs for minors.

Delaware is on the wrong side of history. Children are being sold the gender lie through media, social media, and even curricula in public schools. If they feel uncomfortable with their changing bodies, or don't fit the "stereotype" for manhood or womanhood, they are told that they were born in the wrong body.

The number of children who have attempted to "transition" their gender has tripled in just five years!

Delaware law demands that those licensed counselors can only counsel these children toward gender transition. This is irresponsible! But if HB 346 passes, the victims will have no legal recourse.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has issued an executive order banning hospitals from performing gender-affirming surgeries on minors.

About a week after vetoing a bill that would have banned all gender-affirming care for minors, including hormone therapy and puberty blockers, DeWine (R-Ohio) announced an executive order on Friday that will immediately prohibit transition-related surgeries for minors in the state.

“A week has gone by, and I still feel just as strongly as I did that day,” DeWine said at a news conference, reaffirming his decision to veto the broader ban. “I believe the parents, not the government, should be making these crucial decisions for their children.”

In addition to announcing his new executive order at the press conference, DeWine expressed concern about “fly-by-night” clinics that offer hormone therapy to transgender adults “without the lead-in psychiatric care that we know is so very, very important.”

Consequently, he declared that the Ohio Department of Health and Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services would adopt and implement new administrative guidelines for adults and minors seeking transition-related care following a public comment period.

These regulations would apply to those receiving transition-related care and include that informed consent must be given by patients before beginning treatment and after being informed of the risks associated with receiving gender-affirming care. 

Patients must also undergo psychological counseling prior to beginning hormone therapy or other treatments for gender dysphoria, which is the distress caused by a mismatch between an individual’s assigned sex at birth and their gender identity. 

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health, a nonprofit professional organization devoted to transgender health care, has generally discouraged surgery for minors.

When minors do undergo surgery, it is typically a double mastectomy, sometimes referred to as top surgery, and they stated that minors are never eligible for genital surgery.

A three-fifths majority vote in the Ohio General Assembly, which is led by a Republican supermajority, would be required to override the veto of the governor. 

According to reports, the Ohio House intends to vote on the override as soon as it reconvenes from its early winter break.

Kingsway Regional School District in Kingsway, New Jersey, has adopted a “tiered” policy for classifying students who want to transition their gender without their parent’s knowledge.

A school district in New Jersey has been socially transitioning students behind parent's backs, according to email and video obtained exclusively by OMG. Kingsway Regional School District in Kingsway, New Jersey, has adopted a "tiered" policy for classifying students who want to transition without their parent's knowledge. "I had one of my students reach out to me about their preferred name for next year. Do we know how we can input their name into Genesis without it being visible by families?" states an email from School counselor Fallon Corcoran to counselor Michael Schiff, referencing Genesis, a student database. A source within the school recorded Fallon stating, "I am not calling home... everything we talk about stays between us." According to emails obtained from OMG, Kingsway Regional has developed a tiered ranking system to classify students. Students in the second tier are allowed to use the gender and name of their choice, and that information is kept from parents. In one email we obtained, a teacher or school counselor writes that they "heard from a [redacted] student over the summer with questions about sharing her preferred name and pronouns with teachers but does not want her family to be aware." We reached out to Kingsway Regional Superintendent James Lavender, who said the policy was handed down to the district by the New Jersey Department of Education.
