Poland has now begun a government program to begin mass training of civilians for armed service in the outbreak of war. This program is voluntary currently, but is aimed at helping increase the number of available armed citizenry in the outbreak of war with Russia. In the meantime Russian drones have entered Swedish and Belgian airspace again today, casuing airspace closures and flying over a nuclear site in Belgium. Russia has threatened war with NATO once more, as the Deputy speaker of the Russian Duma has threatened to level major cities across europe since the west will not bow to Russia's demands. in the meantime US B-52s conducted another flight near Venezuela today, as the US seeks a legal pathway to war with the country. Iran warns they will have to begin to evacuate Tehran, due to the unfixable water shortage. the US will be opening a base in Damascus. Ukrainian forces are fighting a pitched battle for the city of Pokrovsk, with the Russians gaining small amounts of ground at extremely high losses.
Russian drones have invaded Belgian airspace over to whole country, which has invoked article 4 over the incidents; a makor act to be taken once more by another NATO member. Drones were also spotted over the Hannover airport in central Germany today as well. Russia is now threatening open nuclear warfare on Ukraine after announcing the resumption of full nuclear missile tests which will resume for the first time in 25 years. The US has promptly responded by also announcing the start of it's own nuclear tests, and launching an ICBM test from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Ukraine has largely held the line today, and inflicted heavy losses on Russian forces. Russian forces are making slow progress through the streets of Pokrovsk, and Ukrainian armed forces are considering a retreat from Myrnohrad. Venezuela finds itself still under a larger threat, with the US striking and sinking another boat today.
At the United Nations, President Donald Trump said Vladimir Putin is “stalled” in Ukraine and called on NATO to cut off Russia’s oil and gas revenue. Trump, who once argued he could make a deal with Putin, now says the war has become a costly stalemate. As the war drags on, is Trump right that NATO can force Russia to the table? Victor Davis Hanson explains Trump’s evolving strategy, Ukraine’s military limits, and what a real path to peace could look like on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “Donald Trump said something—so we don't know where that area to negotiate is. But it's somewhere. But then Donald Trump said, I think, wisely, he said: But we're going to make sure Ukraine doesn't lose. And then he said they can take, as I said, they can take back all the land. They can't. We saw the 2023 offensive. This is World War I. And all of the assets are on Russia's side. “They don't have the manpower. They don't have the wherewithal. What they do have are brilliant fighters, a sophisticated drone industry, that if they are entrenched and they can hold a line where they are and they can selectively hit oil refineries and munitions plants in Russia, in Western Russia, then they can make it so costly…that Russia will have to come to the bargaining table.”

New findings suggest Barack Obama may have personally asked top intelligence officials to fabricate evidence meant to further the Trump-Russia collusion hoax during the final weeks of his presidency. Victor Davis Hanson breaks down role former intelligence heads John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey—Obama’s "three blind mice”—played in this on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words. “There’s new evidence that Barack Obama asked intelligence, investigatory heads—like John Brennan, like James Clapper and James Comey—to "find me evidence that you haven’t found yet so that we can continue the Russian collusion hoax after it was ineffective in the campaign, Hillary lost the election. Now we want to sabotage." This is the subtext of the transition and his presidency. " They were so desperate to validate it. They said to Christopher Steele, ‘Just give us some proof. We can use this. We’ll give you a million dollars.’ He couldn’t even come up with a mil—he couldn’t even come up with the substantive arguments to corroborate his own dossier, so he didn’t get the million dollars.”
Newly released documents, highlighted by DNI Tulsi Gabbard, suggest that President Obama and top intelligence officials knowingly pushed a false Trump-Russia collusion narrative. Despite repeated media claims that “17 intelligence agencies” confirmed the collusion, these documents show that no such consensus ever existed. Victor Davis Hanson breaks down how this deliberate misinformation campaign damaged Trump’s 2016 campaign, his transition, and his presidency, while undermining U.S. credibility on the world stage on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ There's news about the Tulsi Gabbard release of documents, alleging that Barack Obama and our top intelligence head had conspired to create a false narrative that Donald Trump was, essentially, a Russian asset. “ But the problem is that, as I'm speaking, there's going to be new information. And these other subordinate intelligence directors that work variously for Clapper or Brennan are going to come forward in saying, ‘We found nothing. Clapper knew it. Brennan knew it.’ And what will Clapper and Brennan say? That ‘we knew it, but we lied,’ or, ‘We knew it and they told us to—Obama told us to lie,’ or, ‘He lied. We lied.’ It's not going to be pretty.”
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revealed documents this week that could upend the entire narrative of the so-called “Russian Collusion” scandal: New intelligence originally sourced from Dutch agencies shows U.S. officials knew there was no evidence of collusion between Donald Trump and Russia as early as 2016. Why did Obama-era intelligence leaders like John Brennan, James Clapper, and possibly James Comey continue pushing the hoax? Victor Davis Hanson breaks it down on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ Now, what's Tulsi Gabbard upset about? That was known to John Brennan. That was known to James Clapper. That was probably known to the FBI. But they have notes, they have information that when they prepared this digest daily, weekly digest of intelligence updates to lame-duck Barack Obama in 2016 and into 2017, he ignored it. He did not want to hear that. He wanted more information pertaining to Donald Trump and the Russians colluding. It was almost like, you find me the crime and I'll give you the criminal. “ Is it serious? If it's credible, then you have a conspiracy of the top people in the United States intelligence and investigative communities conspiring with a sitting president of the United States to destroy the administration of his opponent, successor, Donald J. Trump.”

Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev warned that multiple nations are “ready” to supply Iran with nuclear warheads following the United States’ airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday.
Medvedev, a former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council issued a series of X posts following the United States’ attack against Iran.
Medvedev stated Iran’s “enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue.”
Medvedev also claimed that a “number of countries” are “ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads,” without directly naming any of the supposed nations, although Russia has consistently backed Iran’s nuclear program.
“The US is now entangled in a new conflict, with prospects of a ground operation looming on the horizon,” Medvedev added. “Donald Trump, once hailed as the ‘president of peace,’ has now pushed the US into another war.”

Medvedev’s comments come as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that he will be traveling to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss an Iranian response to the United States.
“We enjoy a strategic partnership, and we will always consult with each other and coordinate our positions,” Araghchi stated.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Foreign Ministry denounced the U.S. strikes, arguing that they “flagrantly violate international law.”
“The irresponsible decision to subject the territory of a sovereign state to missile and bomb attacks, whatever the arguments it may be presented with, flagrantly violates international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry stated on Sunday.
Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Sunday that the United States will suffer “everlasting consequences” as a result of its military action against Iranian nuclear facilities, while characterizing Iran’s nuclear program as “peaceful.”
“The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations. The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences. Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior,” Araghchi wrote in an X post.
“In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people,” he added.

Context is key when trying to understand President Trump’s negotiations to end the Ukraine/Russia war. How did this war even begin in the first place? Will Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio be able to end it? What do Presidents Zelenskyy and Putin really want? Glenn heads to the chalkboard to lay out the entire timeline and explain how America – mostly the Deep State – played a major role in causing this mess.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly agreed to work with the United States on communicating with Iran regarding its nuclear program, as well as its regional proxies.
The report was confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who stated that “Russia believes that the United States and Iran should resolve all problems through negotiations.”
Peskov added that Moscow “is ready to do everything in its power to achieve this.”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has relayed mixed messages about his stance on Iran, vowing to apply “maximum pressure,” while also stating that he plans on working on a “verified nuclear peace agreement with Iran.”
Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, stated that it is “natural” for countries to offer help with various issues, given the significance and the current political climate in the Middle East.
“It’s possible that many parties will show good will and readiness to help with various problems,” he stated on Monday. “From this perspective, it’s natural that countries will present an offer of help if it’s needed.”
The talks between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Saudi Arabia on February 18th regarding the Ukraine war also reportedly included conversations surrounding Moscow potentially facilitating talks between the U.S. and Iran.
However, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated in February that President Trump cannot be trusted following the withdrawal of the nuclear agreement between the U.S. and Iran, signed by former President Barack Obama.
The Obama-era deal curbed Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions placed on Iran.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Russia has strengthened its ties with Iran, signing a strategic cooperation treaty in January, signaling a long-term alignment.

Most people have never heard of the Budapest Memorandum, but it’s being used as a key argument for why the U.S. is sending billions to Ukraine. Is this little-known agreement dragging America into a dangerous conflict with Russia? Politicians and the media don’t want you asking questions—but we’re breaking it all down. What does this really mean for our future, our security, and our tax dollars?
Victor Davis Hanson’s advice to Volodymyr Zelenskyy following yesterday’s public spat in the oval office with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance: Wear a suit, act polite, don’t interrupt, and sign one deal, the mineral agreement, that will ensure “lasting peace” with Russia. “There's only one real issue separating Russia now from Ukraine and the United States' participation, and that is how far can you push Putin back? “Donald Trump himself has said he wants to push Putin as far back as possible. That's why this mineral agreement was so innovative. “Because most of the key deposits are along this disputed area. If you can come up with a DMZ close to, or near, where Putin started the war, and he did start the war, and have concessions where Europeans and Americans come in and have personnel on the ground and it's a prosperous, mutually advantaged concession, then you're going to have the beginning of a lasting peace. “Putin will not go in there and kill Americans or disrupt that.”

Top diplomats from Russia and the U.S. met Tuesday in Saudi Arabia to discuss improving ties and negotiating an end to the war in Ukraine — talks that reflected a major and rapid change in American foreign policy under President Donald Trump. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says ending Russia’s war in Ukraine will require concessions from all sides and that Europe will be part of the talks.
Marco Rubio arrives in Saudi Arabia for Russia peace talks
Watch live as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visits Saudi Arabia. It comes after Rubio met with top Israeli politicians, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on Sunday as he started a tour of the Middle East which will likely see him face pushback from Arab leaders over Donald Trump's plan to "take over" and redevelop Gaza.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to lead a delegation of U.S. officials to Saudi Arabia this week for peace talks with Russian officials to seek an end to the war in Ukraine. White House national security advisor Mike Waltz and Middle East special envoy Steve Witkoff are also expected to take part in discussions. According to a report from Axios, the meetings are slated to begin Tuesday. This comes after last week's call between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in which Trump said they “agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately.” National security analyst Hal Kempfer joins LiveNOW's Austin Westfall to discuss.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed on Sunday that he refused to accept the United States’ proposal which would have provided the U.S. with Ukraine’s rare earth minerals in exchange for military aid.
The proposal, which was pitched on Friday at the Munich Security Conference by Vice President JD Vance, would give the United States access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals “as compensation” for support previously provided by the Biden administration, as well as for future military aid.
Ukraine is particularly rich in graphite, lithium, titanium, beryllium and uranium, which are critical materials for defense and tech industries.
Zelensky stated that he “didn’t let the ministers sign a relevant because in my view it is not ready to protect us, our interest.”
Zelensky has repeatedly stated that any deal handing over valuable minerals to the United States would need to be accompanied by security guarantees to deter any future Russian aggression.
“There are voices which say that Europe could offer security guarantees without the Americans, and I always say no,” Zelensky stated on Tuesday. “Security guarantees without America are not real security guarantees.”

Meanwhile, White House National Security Council Spokesman Brian Hughes stated that “President Zelensky is being short-sighted about the excellent opportunity the Trump Administration has presented to Ukraine.”
The Ukrainian president also added that Kyiv believes that Russian President Vladamir Putin is gearing up to “wage war against NATO.”
“We know for sure that he is preparing that from the territory of Belarus this year. It can happen in summer, maybe in the beginning, maybe in the end of summer. I do not know when he will prepare it. But it will happen,” Zelensky stated.
“There are risks that this could be Poland and Lithuania because we believe – we believe that Putin will wage war against NATO,” he added.
“That is why I told you that, ‘What is he waiting for?’ For a weakening of NATO by, for instance, the policy of the United States of America, for example, that the United States of America will think to take its military from Europe. Yes, Putin thinks that. But I will believe that the United States will not take its forces, its contingents from Europe because that will severely weaken NATO and the European continent. Putin definitely counts on that. And the fact that we receive information that he will think of the invasion against former Soviet republics. And forgive me, but today these are NATO countries.”
Ukraine is now in the process of crafting a “counter proposal” to be delivered to the United States in “the near future,” according to the Associated Press.
