Anti-semitic lynch mob storms Russia's Dagestan airport hunting for Jews. The riot took place in Muslim-majority Dagestan, in the Caucasus. And began when a plane from Tel Aviv landed in Makhachkala city. In nearby Khasavyurt, people also stormed the Hotel Flamingo and went room-to-room looking for any Jewish people inside. Police had to be called to both locations to deal with the crowds. It follows a surge in anti-Semitism due to Hamas’s attack on Israel and Israel’s subsequent invasion of the Gaza Strip.
