Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishuis deeply disappointed in her adopted country, and of course it is all the fault of none other than Donald J. Trump. While virtually all leftists hate Trump with hysterical, lunatic intensity, Omar goes them all one better, and she is in the process of transforming Trump-hatred into a veritable new art form. Watch for her to get an NEA grant any minute now.

Omar has gone all the other Trump-haters one better by claiming that Orange Man Bad is not just a new Hitler who is destroying “our democracy” (the term leftists like to use to refer to their own hegemony), but that he is destroying the country itself, reducing it to the level of a third-world hellhole.

This is ironic for numerous reasons, not least of which is the fact that it was the Biden regime that Omar favored, not the Trump administration that Omar hates, that opened the southern border and brought in millions of migrants. Many of those migrants immediately became a drain on the economy. Others committed various crimes, some of which involved unspeakable atrocities. Meanwhile, their presence further weakened national unity and social cohesion. It was Omar’s friends and colleagues, her fellow leftist apparatchiks, who did far more to reduce the U.S. to third-world status than Trump ever did.

Nevertheless, The Hill reported Tuesday that Omar declared that Trump’s efforts to stop the Los Angeles riots, which were themselves dedicated to stopping his efforts to deport some of those illegal migrants, were turning the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave into “one of the worst countries.”

Trump’s efforts to stop the rioting led her to compare America unfavorably to the idyllic and carefree Somalia of her youth: “Can you imagine that image that is going to be coming out of our country? I mean, I grew up in a dictatorship, and I don’t even remember ever witnessing anything like that. To have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world, to now be turned into one of the, you know, one of the worst countries, where the military is on our streets without any regard for people’s constitutional rights, while our president’s spending millions of dollars propping himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade — it’s really shocking.

Shocking? Maybe. Fictional? Certainly. In reality, there is nothing unconstitutional about the president restoring order, and an appeals court has sided with Trump in his legal fight against California Commissar Gavin Newsom over the deployment of the National Guard in the riots. Omar, however, has a narrative to push, and to do so, she enthusiastically wrapped herself in the old red, white and blue: “It should be a wake-up call for all Americans to say, ‘This is not the country we were born in. It’s not the country we believe in. This is not the country our Founding Fathers imagined, and this is not the country that is supported by our Constitution, our ideals, our values.’ And we should all collectively be out in the streets, rejecting what is taking place this week.

What’s that? You didn’t know Ilhan Omar had such a patriotic concern for “our Constitution, our ideals, our values”? In June 2024, video began circulating of former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Khaire standing next to a beaming Omar and saying: “The interest of Ilhan is not Ilhans, it’s not the interest of Minnesota, nor is it the interest of the American people, the interest of Ilhan is that of the Somali people and Somalia. The success of Ilhan is the success of Somalia.”

That video followed one in which Omar gave a speech in which she said: “We Somalis must have the confidence in ourselves that we call the shots in the U.S. The U.S. government will only do what Somalis in the U.S. tell them to do. They will do what we want and nothing else.” She says that the U.S. government “must follow our orders and that is how we will safeguard the interests of Somalia… Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system.”

A third video contains footage of Omar from 2022, once again speaking in Somali to a Somali audienceShe begins by saying: “We must fix our roads.” Nothing wrong with that, except that she isn’t talking about the roads in her congressional district. She is talking about roads in Somalia. Omar continues:

I am an American migrant in the U.S. Congress. But I am a Somali girl, a girl with your lineage, a girl with your language, a girl with your religion, that was a young child taken from her country, that misses her country and wishes to live there, and share with its people. I am hopeful in the future that me and my children will be able to raise our kids in this land, where I was born and raised. To make that possible, there is a lot that we need to work on together to make our land a more stable and prosperous place. It is felt by all.

She loves Somalia and longs to live there. She thinks America, meanwhile, is among “the worst of countries.” Yet despite her expressed hope in the 2022 video, she is likely to remain in the country she hates. After all, there is so much more work to do in order to ensure its destruction.

China’s Stranglehold on America’s Drug Supply: Rosemary Gibson

“The United States depends on China for 95 percent of the key components necessary to make our generic drugs, and if China shuts the door on exports, within months our health care system would begin to collapse.” Rosemary Gibson is a national authority on health care policy and patient safety, and the author of “China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine.” “How come we don’t know that our medicines are being made in China? And this has been going on for a long time, and for years, there was zero regulation. How do we outsource production from a country with the highest standards in the world to places with no standards?” she asks. In this episode, Rosemary Gibson dives into the realities of China’s control of America’s medical supply chain, the increasing problem of contaminated medications, and what the current administration can do to fix it.

Judges vs. America: How the Deep State Is Overruling Your Vote

The question is simple: Who runs this country—the voters or the judges?

Another day, another judicial blockade. Three more executive orders—each designed to advance the will of the American people—were unceremoniously put on ice by unelected black-robed obstructionists yesterday. That brings the total to 15 since President Trump took office in January 2025. That’s 15 direct assaults on the policies Americans voted for when they rejected the corruption and incompetence of the radical left.

Let’s be clear: This isn’t about “the law,” “checks and balances,” or “democracy” (a term the left constantly redefines). This is about deep-state operatives and activist judges blocking reform, hamstringing the administration’s efforts to clean up the mess left behind by Biden’s regime. The same establishment class that spent four years ignoring open borders, skyrocketing inflation, and a weaponized FBI now insists that every procedural technicality be followed before President Trump can act.

Consider what was just blocked. Among the three executive orders frozen yesterday was one expediting the deportation of violent criminal aliens, another targeting the corruption that allows bureaucrats to profit from their positions, and a third cracking down on federal grants abused by activist organizations masquerading as nonprofits.

Let me repeat that: judges intervened to stop the removal of dangerous criminals, protect corrupt bureaucrats, and ensure taxpayer money keeps flowing to left-wing political groups.

Someone, somewhere, please explain to me what law requires America to fund its own destruction. I’ll wait.

Of course, there is no such law. What we’re seeing is a coordinated legal resistance—engineered by well-funded leftist legal outfits, cheered on by corporate media, and rubber-stamped by judges who treat the Constitution as a Choose Your Own Adventure novel. The game is “Lawfare,” an endless stream of lawsuits designed to bog down the administration, tie up policies in court, and hope Trump runs out of time.

The pattern is unmistakable. The first round of blocks targeted Trump’s border security orders—because apparently, enforcing immigration laws is radical. Then came economic reforms meant to rein in the unelected bureaucracy—blocked. Now, it’s anti-corruption measures. What’s next? Will a judge rule that Trump breathing unapproved air is unconstitutional?

What makes this even more infuriating is the hypocrisy. Biden issued 117 executive orders in his first year alone, many of which reshaped policy overnight—no pushback. When he unilaterally extended the eviction moratorium, despite the Supreme Court ruling it unconstitutional, the CDC did it anyway—no lawsuits, no injunctions. When he ordered OSHA to impose a vaccine mandate on private businesses, blatantly exceeding executive authority, the courts took months to respond—by then, the damage was done.

But the second Trump lifts his pen? Emergency lawsuits! Nationwide injunctions! Indignant CNN panels! The entire system is wired to protect the left’s interests while kneecapping anyone who challenges them.

So, who wins when judges override the duly elected president? The usual suspects. Open-borders cartels, government grifters, climate racketeers, and Washington bureaucrats who treat elections as suggestions. These are the people desperate to stop Trump’s America First agenda.

Trump already faces a hostile media, a corrupt DOJ, and a rabid opposition. Now, unelected judges have decided that the voters’ will is subject to their personal whims. The left couldn’t stop Trump at the ballot box, so now they’re trying to stop him in the courts.

Here’s the bottom line: if this continues, the presidency will cease to function. We will enter an era where only Democrat presidents get to govern, while Republican presidents are treated as placeholders under legal supervision. Elections will become meaningless. Activist courts will veto the will of the people, ensuring permanent rule by lawsuit.

That is the endgame. If they can paralyze Trump, they can paralyze any future Republican. If they can stall every executive action with endless legal challenges, no conservative reform will ever see the light of day. The left isn’t trying to “uphold the rule of law.” They are weaponizing the legal system to nullify elections they don’t like.

So, what do we do? First, Republicans in Congress must fight back. They control the House and have leverage in the Senate—use it. Stop funding corrupt agencies waging war on this administration. Demand accountability from judges who repeatedly overstep their authority. Treat this legal warfare as the existential threat it is.

Second, we need to fix the courts. The next Supreme Court vacancy must go to a warrior, not a compromiser. Lower courts must be purged of ideological activists who see themselves as policymakers. The left spent decades infiltrating the judiciary, and now we are reaping the consequences. If we don’t take judicial appointments seriously, we might as well surrender now.

Finally, the American people need to wake up. This is not just a legal battle. It is a fight over whether the people we elect actually get to govern. If unelected judges systematically dismantle the America First agenda, our votes will become meaningless.

The courts have become the last line of defense for the corrupt status quo. If we don’t fight back now, they will bury Trump’s reforms in legal quicksand and ensure no outsider ever challenges their grip on power again.

The question is simple: Who runs this country—the voters, or the judges? If we don’t settle that now, we may not get another chance.

“Victor Davis Hanson CRIES—Something BIG is About to Happen in America”

"Victor Davis Hanson CRIES—Something BIG is About to Happen in America" In this video, Victor Davis Hanson expresses his deep concerns about the current state of America and argues that we must return to the values and principles that made the country great. Hanson critiques the radical left's progressive agenda and warns of its destructive effects on American society. He emphasizes the need to restore traditional American ideals, such as individual liberty, personal responsibility, and a strong national identity. Drawing on historical insights, Hanson reveals how the decline of these core values has led to the erosion of social cohesion, cultural integrity, and the rule of law. Through his analysis, Hanson urges Americans to reject the prevailing trends and return to a more grounded and unified vision of the nation, one that prioritizes its heritage, its people, and its founding principles. "Victor Davis Hanson CRIES—I'm RISKING it all to tell you the TRUTH"

In this exclusive interview, historian and political commentator Victor Davis Hanson analyzes the most pressing issues in American politics today. The discussion began with the controversy surrounding leaked messages from Senator J.D. Vance, revealing skepticism about U.S. commitment to Europe. These revelations raise questions about the future of American foreign policy and the conservative movement’s stance on global affairs. Donald Trump’s counter-revolution against the Left is also examined. As the former president continues his campaign for re-election, his efforts to reshape politics and culture face significant resistance from entrenched establishment forces. That resistance is particularly strong in the judiciary and the media. From legal battles to relentless negative coverage, the courts and legacy media institutions have taken unprecedented steps to challenge Trump’s influence and potential return to power. The Democratic Party’s declining approval ratings are another key focus. With an increasingly unpopular administration, internal divisions, and economic dissatisfaction, concerns are growing over the party’s future prospects. Finally, the newly released JFK files are analyzed. The declassified documents shed new light on long-standing suspicions about government secrecy and potential political cover-ups. Victor Davis Hanson: The Left Lied. Now, America Pays.

Joe Biden’s fitness for office, the origins of COVID-19, Russian collusion, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the crisis at the border. These are some of the biggest deceptions pushed on the American people—lies that were once dismissed as conspiracy theories but have now been confirmed as truth. Victor Davis Hanson examines how these falsehoods shaped the country and eroded trust in key institutions in this episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ What do all these lies have in common? One, nobody's ever apologized to them. Nobody's even tried to defend them. Nobody's tried to deny them. Nobody's tried to sustain them. They all did terrible damage to the United States.”

First Muslim Queer Immigrant Councilwoman Says America Isn’t Free

Will the oppression in Duluth never end?

[Want even more content from FPM? Sign up for FPM+ to unlock exclusive series, virtual town-halls with our authors, and more—now for just $3.99/month. Click here to sign up.]

Duluth, Minnesota, a place that most liberals would agree was too white, finally made history when the otherwise boring 87% white city elected its first Muslim lesbian councilwoman.

Azrin Awal, a Bangladeshi immigrant, moved to Duluth to attend the University of Minnesota, got a degree in gender and sexuality studies, co-founded the local NAACP chapter (despite not being black), was part of the Muslim Students Association and decided to run for public office because Duluth was Islamophobic and needed to fundamentally change to suit her tastes.

And that’s after only being there for 5 years.

But they were busy years in which the Bangladeshi immigrant claimed she was a victim of Islamophobia because she was called a 'terrorist' and had a hijab snatched from her head.

She also came out as ‘queer’ and her pronouns are either “She/They” or “She/Them/Theirs”. She took part in ‘drag shows’ and discussions about ‘Islamophobia’, telling students that “Islam means peace”, but not telling them what happens to ‘queer’ people under Islamic Sharia law.

But that’s probably because, despite the list of pronouns, Awal is married to a white guy.

Much like her neighboring role model, Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Awal got a job working at the DEI office at the UM Duluth which she still holds, to help ‘queer’ students. A year before her marriage, Awal told her colleagues that she was working “on self-actualizing her identities as Muslim, Bengali, Asian-American, and queer woman.”

The ‘queer’ part apparently still needs more ‘actualizing’. Or will be around election time.

The LGBTQ+ Victory Institute listed her as ‘Queer’ and so did election materials and pitches. Even while married to a former fellow white male classmate at UM Duluth, a waste engineer working for a state government agency, her official City Council bio states that “Azrin identifies as a Muslim, Bengali, Asian-American, and queer woman dedicated to equity and social justice.”

Much like men who identify as women, Arzin is a married woman who identifies as ‘Queer’.

It was always implausible that a Muslim Students Association member, an Islamist group with roots in the Muslim Brotherhood, was going to have an openly lesbian member.

But the pronouns came in handy when building her woke credentials for public office: Awal also claimed that she understood homelessness because had been homeless when she had to sleep on other people’s couches for a few months in between finding housing.

And with the promise of being the first Muslim woman, the first Asian woman, and the first ‘queer’ woman on the Duluth City Council, Awal was endorsed by the DSA and local lefties. She campaigned by accusing Duluth of suffering from “Xenophobia and Islamophobia”.

“I’m getting a lot of pushback,” Awal complained during her campaign. “But I’m also opening people’s minds and forcing people to reevaluate what equity means.”

At a council meeting in February, Awal demonstrated her definition of ‘equity’ by praising a call from an anti-American activist to banish the Pledge of Allegiance from council meetings.

“It’s becoming increasingly clear that our flag doesn’t necessarily stand for freedom for everyone in the nation,” Awal claimed.

Azrin Awal did not discuss the superior level of freedom to be obtained in her native Bangladesh, which recently underwent a brutal Islamist coup against the minority Hindu population, and where homosexuality is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Awal has claimed that her family in Bangladesh were “spiritual leaders, they were freedom fighters”. While she didn’t go into any details, her father Mohammed Awal came to America in 1991. A year earlier, Bangladeshis had overthrown the Islamist regime of General Hussain Mohammed Ershad. It is unknown what side of the conflict Awal’s family was on, but the description of them as “spiritual leaders” raises the possibility that they were Islamists.

While advocating against Israel’s battle with Hamas, Awal claimed that the issue was ‘deeply personal to her, citing her ancestors who fought oppression in Bangladesh.’

Awal and her family lived in the formerly bucolic Maple Grove suburb of Minneapolis, which was targeted for refugee resettlement by Lutheran Social Services, among other ‘resettlers’, and now has a sizable Muslim population. Some are worried that Duluth may go the same way.

After the Hamas attacks of Oct 7, Azrin Awal took to denouncing Israel and drafted a ‘ceasefire’ resolution falsely accusing Israel of “genocide”, citing fake Hamas propaganda numbers and calling for an end to military aid to Israel, which the Duluth council rejected by a margin of 5-4.

She falsely claimed that Israel is an “apartheid state” and Hamas-run Gaza an “open-air prison”.

In response to Oct 7, she posted a video by an affiliate of Minneapolis pro-terror group member who claimed that Israel controls the media. Awal later joined with the Marxist and Islamist-led ‘Uncommitted’ movement to protest Biden’s failure to completely withdraw support from Israel in order to enable a Hamas victory.

Azrin Awal promoted and took part in an event featuring Mariam El-Khatib of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) who had promoted Hamas propaganda and justified the stabbings of two Rabbis along with a mother and her two-year-old daughter. AMP has been accused of having ties to Hamas. While claiming to want ‘peace’, Awal was promoting Hamas sympathizers.

Terrorist sympathizers who described a stabbed 2-year-old girl as an “extremist”.

When Awal claims that “our flag doesn’t necessarily stand for freedom for everyone in the nation”, the real question may be how the Bangladeshi Muslim immigrant defines ‘freedom’.

America is free enough that even Muslim immigrants who hate this country can get elected to higher office across Minnesota and everywhere else ‘refugees’ from terror states are ‘settled’.

But it’s never free enough until it can be entirely destroyed and replaced with something else.

Those who want to destroy America can wear the costumes of social justice over their hijabs, can pretend to be woke and even use pronouns, but underneath it all, they hate us.

They hate America.
