Make Him Plead the 5th! Why Republicans MUST Subpoena Barack Obama

Mark Levin sounds the alarm on the deep rot in America's justice system. While Donald Trump faces endless indictments and political persecution, Barack Obama remains shielded from scrutiny. Mark exposes how Obama’s involvement in the Russia hoax, election interference, and sabotage of Trump’s presidency demands a full criminal investigation. No more excuses. No more immunity for the powerful. It’s time to uncover the truth behind the silent coup.

MTG criticizes ‘fake’ MAGA Republicans ‘slobbering’ over U.S. joining Israel-Iran War: ‘We’re sick and tired of foreign wars’

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - OCTOBER 15: U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) speaks before Republican presidential nominee, former U.S. President Donald Trump during a campaign rally at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on October 15, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene recently slammed “fake” supporters of the “America First” movement, whom she says have been “slobbering” over the United States engaging in another regime change war in the Middle East.

Greene’s (R-Ga.) social media post highlights a current split in the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement, as the very essence of the political movement is said to be the rejection of foreign interventionism previously adopted by the neo-conservative perspective, which analysts say heavily influenced former President George W. Bush’s foreign policy.

“Everyone is finding out who the real America First/MAGA and who were fake and just said it [because] it was popular. Unfortunately, the list of fakes is quickly becoming quite long and quickly exposed,” she began.

“Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA. Wishing for the murder of innocent people is disgusting. We are sick and tired of foreign wars. All of them,” Greene continued. “And this one will quickly engulf the Middle East, BRICS, and NATO as countries are required to take a side.”

“Real America First/MAGA wants world peace for all people and doesn’t want our military killed or forever injured physically and mentally. We love our U.S. military and love them helping to secure our borders and our cities for the defense of OUR PEOPLE AND OUR COUNTRY.”

Greene went on to point out the disastrous reverberations the previous wars in the Middle East had on American soldiers returning to the United States, while also pointing out the massive debt crisis currently crippling the nation.

“We have spent TRILLIONS in the Middle East and we are dealing with the aftermath of death, blown apart bodies, never ending suicides, and disabling PTSD. All because they told us propaganda as to why we must sacrifice our own to defend some other country’s borders.”

According to a 2021 study by Brown University’s Cost of War Project, 30,177 active-duty U.S. service members and veterans of the post-9/11 wars have committed suicide as of June 2021, which is significantly more than the 7,057 service members who died in the post-9/11 wars.

“I don’t want to see Israel bombed or Iran bombed or Gaza bombed. I don’t want to see Ukraine bombed or Russia bombed. We do NOT want to be involved or required to pay for ANY OF IT!!! We are $36+ TRILLION in debt and have mountains of our own problems. We have giant planks sticking out of our own eyes while we complain about splinters in other’s eyes.”

“Taking this position is NOT antisemitic. They’re rational, sane, and loving toward all people. Taking this position of peace and prosperity for all is not isolationism, it leads to GREAT trade deals and GREAT economies that help ALL PEOPLE,” Greene added.

Greene’s post follows after Israel issued “preemptive” strikes on Thursday, targeting Iranian military leaders and their nuclear facilities. They justified the attack by arguing that the regime was too dangerously close to developing a nuclear weapon, representing an existential threat to Israel.

“Netanyahu [utilized his] statement overnight, invoking the darkest chapter in Jewish history, to insist that Israel would never allow itself to be vulnerable to a 'nuclear holocaust,'” The Guardian reported.

Iran has also been accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump. The Justice Department announced in November 2024 that it had filed charges related to an Iranian plot to kill Trump before the presidential election that year, according to NPR.

Nonetheless, Iran has since responded in retaliation, launching a barrage of ballistic missiles, ultimately overwhelming Israel’s missile defense systems and pounding into multiple areas across Israel. The two nations continue to lob airstrikes at one another, while Israeli leaders have reportedly urged the United States to join the fight against Iran.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has repeatedly called on the two sides to “make a deal.”

“We will have PEACE soon between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings now taking place,” Trump wrote in a Sunday Truth Social post. “MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN!”

For the second time, House Republicans have passed a bill that would require voters to show proof of citizenship in order to vote in federal elections. A previous attempt was blocked by the then-Democrat-led Senate.

The bill, titled the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, was passed in a 220-208 vote.

It is meant to prevent non-citizens from voting.

The vote included four Democrat representatives who sided with Republicans: Representatives Ed Case of Hawaii, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington.

The bill requires applicants to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a valid passport, a birth certificate, or other forms of identification that prove an individual is a U.S. citizen.

Republican Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas), who introduced the bill, said Thursday “there’s nothing controversial about saying that you should be able to ensure that only citizens vote.”

“There is nothing more sacred under the Constitution than ensuring that the people are able to have a voice in the election of the people that represent them in Washington and throughout the country,” Roy said.

“Once that is undermined, then people lose faith in the very institutions upon which this is built. This legislation is designed to restore that faith, to save our elections, to save election integrity.”

Meanwhile, Democrats have tried to argue that the bill will make it tougher for Americans to vote.

Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-N.Y.) claimed that senior citizens are especially unlikely to have the required documents, and that “even a military ID” would not qualify as acceptable documentation under the act.

“Republicans would force Americans into a paperwork nightmare, burying voter registration under a mountain of bureaucracy and red tape,” he said.

“Under the SAVE Act, most Americans would be unable to register to vote using their Real ID. Further, under the SAVE Act, nearly 70 million American women will be unable to register to vote using their birth certificate simply because they changed their name upon marriage,” he added.

“And the SAVE Act will also have a steep financial cost to American citizens, because, yes, the SAVE Act does allow Americans to use their passports to register to vote. But half of all Americans do not have a passport, and a passport costs $130.”

Last year, Republicans first introduced the bill, with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) saying that while it’s time consuming and difficult to prove that illegal aliens are voting in U.S. elections, it’s something both parties “intuitively” know is happening.

Additionally, in many Democrat-led states, such as California, you’re generally not required to show any identification to vote.

“We all know, intuitively, that a lot of illegals are voting in federal elections. But it’s not been something that is easily provable. We don’t have that number. This legislation will allow us to do exactly that — it will prevent that from happening. And if someone tries to do it, it will now be unlawful within the states,” Johnson said last May.

After being previously blocked by the Democrat-controlled Senate, the bill may have a renewed chance of gaining approval this time around.

The bill should be received more favorably under the GOP majority, especially as it has been championed by President Donald Trump. However, it would still likely need to overcome a Democrat filibuster.

Did Senate Republicans Just CAVE on Cutting Inflation AGAIN?

“It’s déjà vu all over again,” Blaze News senior editor Daniel Horowitz tells Glenn. While Senate Republicans are planning on cutting a few hundred billion dollars in their next budget, they STILL passed a $340 billion budget blueprint. “Everyone hates inflation,” Horowitz argues, “except, they don’t want to reform or cut anything that’s driving it … What’s causing the current and future inflation are these programs!” Meanwhile, President Trump is asking for a balanced budget. “Now is the time,” Glenn says, for Trump to demand of Congress: “you HAVE to find these cuts!”

Musk, Ramaswamy And Republican Officials Urge House GOP To Kill Johnson’s Federal Funding Bill

The new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leaders in Trump’s incoming administration, Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, blasted House GOP leadership on Wednesday, actively urging Republicans to kill a controversial stopgap measure to prevent a government shutdown.

“This bill should not pass,” Musk posted on his X platform.

“Ever seen a bigger piece of pork?” Musk continued, referencing an image showing the legislative text.

Ramaswamy also chimed in and explained why the new measure is unfavorable in his eyes.

“It’s full of excessive spending, special interest giveaways & pork barrel politics. If Congress wants to get serious about government efficiency, they should VOTE NO,” Ramaswamy posted on X.

“Congress has known about this deadline since they created it in late September. There’s no reason why this couldn’t have gone through the standard process, instead of being rushed to a vote right before Congressmen want to go home for the holidays. The urgency is 100% manufactured.”

Meanwhile, Johnson (R-La.) suggested that the two DOGE leaders should take into account his difficult predicament, even though both Musk and Ramaswamy chairs have widely criticized the spending patch that leadership revealed on Tuesday night.

“I was communicating with Elon last night. Elon and Vivek and I are on a text chain together, and I was explaining to them the background of this,” Johnson said on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday regarding the controversial new measure.

“Vivek and I talked last night at almost midnight, and he said, 'Look, I get it. We understand you’re in an impossible position. Everybody knows that,’” Johnson claimed.

The government will shut down Friday night unless congressional leaders act to stop a lapse. The new resolution on Tuesday would provide government funding through March 14th, 2025.

However, the 1,547-page continuing resolution (CR) is reportedly jam-packed with a variety of add-ons, including $100 billion for disaster relief, a one-year extension of the farm bill, up to $2 billion for the reconstruction of Maryland’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed earlier this year after a cargo ship collided with it, and $10 billion for farmer assistance.

Additionally, Breitbart News reported that “The (CR) released Tuesday night — negotiated on the GOP side by Johnson — includes tens of billions of dollars in waste and includes funding for controversial items, including a pay raise for members of Congress as well as a one-year extension of the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC), which funds organizations that censor conservative media.”

GOP officials continued to post their thoughts on the new CR.

Republicans are openly opposing Johnson’s efforts, accusing him of trying to push the bill through before the 118th Congress ends and lawmakers go home for the holidays.

The measure has angered a slew of Republicans, especially Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who argue that it should have been a clean CR and that many of the additional provisions should be discussed separately.

Legislators have also complained that they were not given enough time to read the lengthy document.

Johnson has been courting Musk and Ramaswamy since the 2024 election. Earlier this month, he invited them to the U.S. Capitol for talks with senators, he mingled with them both at Mar-a-Lago and again during one of President-elect Donald Trump’s UFC appearances.

“Remember, guys, we still have just a razor-thin margin of Republicans,” Johnson continued on “Fox & Friends.” “So any bill has to have Democrat votes. They understand the situation. They said, ‘It’s not directed at you, Mr. Speaker, but we don’t like the spending.’”

“We got to get this done because here’s the key: By doing this, we are clearing the decks and we are setting up for Trump to come roaring back with [the] America First agenda,” Johnson added.

At the beginning of next year, Congress will have a busy schedule as it must balance Trump’s plans with the unfinished business of federal funding for fiscal year 2025 before moving on to fiscal year 2026, which is due on October 1st, 2025.

Soon after the news broke, Trump logged on to his Truth Social platform and explained his thoughts on the matter.

“Congress is considering a spending bill that would give sweetheart provisions to government censors and for Liz Cheney. This bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid the security failures that happened that day. The bill would also give Congress a pay increase while many Americans are struggling this Christmas. Increasing the debt ceiling is not great, but we’d rather do it on Biden’s watch. If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. We should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want. Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and set our country up for success in 2025. The only way to do that is with a temporary funding bill WITHOUT DEMOCRAT GIVEAWAYS combined with an increase in the debt ceiling. Anything else is a betrayal of our country,” Trump stated.

Donald Trump has officially been elected the 47th president of the United States of America.

Trump was elected to the Oval Office in a landslide victory.

As of 11:50pm PST, Trump won 277 electoral votes, sending him over the needed 270 to clinch the White House. In addition to winning the most electoral votes, he won the popular vote. A Republican has not won the popular vote since George W. Bush in 2004.

Additionally, Trump would be the second president in history to serve two nonconsecutive terms. The last president to do so was former Democrat President Grover Cleveland in 1892.

Republicans have flipped control of the United States Senate for the first time since 2018.

Ohio GOP nominee Bernie Moreno defeated 18-year Senator Sherrod Brown, while Montana nominee Tim Sheehy defeated incumbent Jon Tester.

On top of Republicans picking up West Virginia’s Senate seat, they now hold 51-seats in the upper chamber.

The win means that Democrat leader Chuck Schumer will no longer be the Senate majority leader after January.

Newsmax First Network to Project Trump Winner

Newsmax projected Donald Trump the winner of the presidency, the first network to do so.

Newsmax made the projection at 1:23 a.m. ET, beating all major news networks.

The projection came minutes after Newsmax called the state of Pennsylvania for Trump.

The Pennsylvania win gave him the magic 270 electoral votes, making him the 47th President of the United States.

"The Pennsylvania race was extremely close, but it became clear that there was no pathway for Kamala Harris to overcome President Trump's lead," Gary Kanofsky, Senior Vice President of News at Newsmax, said.

"We kept crunching the data and it became obvious as more votes came in that Donald Trump had established an insurmountable lead. That's when we were confident it was time to make the call."

Other networks followed Newsmax's lead, including Fox News, which called the race for Trump a half hour later.

Trump beat Kamala Harris after picking up key victories in swing states Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Georgia in picking Trump became the first to flip from the 2020 results. Joe Biden narrowly carried Georgia in 2020, but Republicans have won every other Georgia presidential vote since 1996.

Harris and Trump had their eyes on seven battleground states before the election: Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada.

Trump took North Carolina first, followed by Georgia, Pennsylvania and then Wisconsin.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has blocked an attempt to allow mail-in ballots without a handwritten date from being counted in the 2024 election.

Friday's decision reverses a previous Commonwealth Court ruling that had declared the requirement for a handwritten date on ballots unconstitutional. Following an appeal by the Pennsylvania GOP, the state Supreme Court’s ruling now ensures that undated mail-in ballots will not be counted in the upcoming election.

Justice Kevin Dougherty criticized the Commonwealth Court for its decision.

“‘This Court will neither impose nor countenance substantial alterations to existing laws and procedures during the pendency of an ongoing election.’ We said those carefully chosen words only weeks ago. Yet they apparently were not heard in the Commonwealth Court, the very court where the bulk of election litigation unfolds,” Dougherty wrote.

“Today’s order, which I join, rights the ship. It sends a loud message to all courts in this Commonwealth: in declaring we would not countenance substantial alterations to existing laws and procedures during the pendency of an ongoing election, we mean what we meant and meant what we say,” he continued.

Pennsylvania Republicans praised Friday’s ruling, claiming that Democrats have repeatedly attempted to undermine the requirement for a handwritten date on ballots.

State officials supporting the counting of undated ballots argue that this change would simplify the process for election workers.

Prior to the court’s ruling, the Pennsylvania Department of State submitted a brief advocating for the change.

“The requirement that county boards set aside mail ballots with declaration-date errors — and particularly the requirement that they set aside mail ballot envelopes with ‘incorrect’ dates — imposed a significant burden on county boards. Election workers must manually review each ballot envelope to determine whether it has a ‘correct’ date,” the brief said, according to the Pennsylvania Capital-Star.

Friday’s decision marks the second time this month that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has halted Democrat-supported attempts to remove the dating requirement.

Trump’s campaign announced on X that independent politician Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat who previously served as a U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021, has switched parties to join the GOP.

Welcome to the party, @TulsiGabbard. pic.twitter.com/nDHxnST9CC

During their 90-minute address in Omaha, Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticized the Biden-Harris administration, emphasized specific information concerning disaster relief funds, and discussed all the advantages and benefits of another Trump presidency.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response to the hurricane clearly “failed,” Gabbard asserted on stage.

Kennedy told Fox News‘ ‘Gutfeld!’ host Greg Gutfeld that Democrats are “much more intolerant” than Republicans and that the party is now associated with Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex, unlike the old Democrat party of the past.

Meanwhile, Gabbard has also expressed similar sentiments regarding the Democrat party as well.

“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war,” Gabbard stated.
