HOW TO CREATE A SAFE SPACE FOR LGBTQ CAMPERS

Let’s look at the numbers. Across the country, there are approximately 950,000 children and teens enrolled in YMCA summer camps. There are ten times that many U.S. adults—9 million—who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.
These statistics may suggest that at least one child enrolled in any given summer camp has a relative or primary caregiver who identifies as LGBTQ. And perhaps, at least one youth enrolled in your community’s summer camp currently identifies—or in the future may identify—as LGBTQ.
Sobering research Opens a new window reveals 30% of LGBTQ youths have attempted suicide, with LGBTQ youth being nearly five times more likely to have attempted suicide in comparison to heterosexual youth.
So how can youth development professionals create a safe and welcoming environment for all children and teens? And how can we better equip staff to be both curious and knowledgeable about all communities, including LGBTQ communities?

Here are nine recommendations:


    

  1. Recognize that every child is unique in their self-identities, across all dimensions of diversity. No two people are the same. Our perspectives and experiences are influenced by how we identify—and we are ever-changing as we age, grow and develop. This is especially true for children. Take time to get to know each child’s unique self-identities. Include LGBTQ youth in the conversation and ask what will help them to feel safe and included.
    2. 

  2. Be an ally. Support and celebrate openly LGBTQ staff, youth and families.
    3. 

  3. Work to confound gender-based assumptions regarding toys, activities and attire. Use gender-neutral language and invite all children to participate in all activities. Avoid assuming that boys prefer to play sports and girls prefer to make arts-and-crafts.
    4. 

  4. Ensure all campers and staff have access to the facilities aligned with their gender identity and comfort within facility and resource limitations.
    5. 

  5. Provide training opportunities to foster education, awareness and knowledge-building related to LGBTQ communities and best practices for inclusion.
    6. 

  6. Use gender-neutral (or self-identified) pronouns when referencing guardians/parents, partners, families and significant others. When creating registration forms, camper communications and other messaging, consider that not every camper is raised in the same type of home. Being sensitive to language and aiming to respect the way individuals self-identify is a critical step to becoming an inclusive camp.
    7. 

  7. Lift up stories of LGBTQ inclusion in trainings, marketing and camp activities. Do your camp marketing or training materials include people from all walks of life, including same-sex couples, families and transgender individuals?
    8. 

  8. Celebrate Pride Month! June is the official month, but pride can be celebrated year-round! Communicate early and often that your camp is a safe space for LGBTQ youth, families and communities.
    9. 

  9. Build partnerships with local organizations that serve the LGBTQ community, such as houses of worship, health care centers and educational institutions. These relationships may provide support beyond the scope of Y services and also help your staff become more educated and welcoming over time.
    10. 




At the Y, we believe that in a diverse world, we are stronger when we are inclusive and our doors are open to all—this includes LGBTQ identified individuals and communities.

Observing Transgender Day of Remembrance 



on Nov. 20

The Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed annually on November 20 to honor the people killed by anti-transgender violence and celebrate the community members who are still with us. The Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and Austin Black Pride will be holding this year’s ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 7-9pm in the TownLake YMCA gymnasium, followed by a mixer and a community conversation.



"This event is meant to take a moment and acknowledge those that we have lost throughout the year, while also uplifting and celebrating the members of the community that are with us today," said Sheldon Darnell, Co-Founder/President of Austin Black Pride, and Rocky Lane, Board President of TENT, in a shared statement. "While we know one evening is not going to bring about an end to senseless violence it's still important to create a space for us to not only mourn, but to show our resilience both collectively and individually." 



For the YMCA, opening our doors for the Trans Day of Remembrance is an opportunity to show support for trans Y members and staff and their families, as well as welcome new people and the wider community into our space, said Rev. Erin Walter, TownLake YMCA Community Engagement Director.



“Trans members, staff, and community members have long been a vital part of the YMCA,” Rev. Walter said. “We hope this gathering helps show trans youth that they are welcome here, underscore to trans elders that they are seen and valued members of our Y programs, and show the whole community that the Y is for all.”



The Transgender Day of Remembrance is both a solemn time – mourning the loss of trans people who have been killed, most of whom are black trans women – and a time to come together in support, celebration, and community care.



“The Day of Remembrance was, historically, the only place in Austin that trans folks regularly gathered,” said Katy Koonce, a longtime YMCA member, nonbinary activist, musician and psychotherapist who predominantly serves the trans community. “There was fear, and there was shame in the early years, and it was a hard sell. But the turnout in the last 10 years or so and the crucial involvement of people of color has been a leap forward.”



Nearby offsite event parking is available west of the facility, contributed by Y neighbors Austin High, Austin Pets Alive, and West Austin Youth Association (WAYA), so that Y members are still able to park in the TownLake lot for general facility use. Basketball players are invited to try the courts at the Southwest YMCA during this time. 



YMCA of Austin board member Danielle Skidmore, an engineer, parent, and longtime Y member, said: “As a YMCA board member and a member of the transgender community, when my friends at the Transgender Education Network of Texas told me that the TownLake YMCA was going to host the 2019 TDOR, it made me so happy and proud to be part of both communities.”



In the long run, supporters hope increased visibility for the Transgender Day of Remembrance will lead to decreased transphobia and anti-trans violence, saving the lives of some of the most marginalized members of our community.

Chicago YMCAs open locker rooms to transgender boys and girls

CHICAGO, Illinois, July 18, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- Chicago-area YMCAs have adopted a policy allowing men in the women’s locker rooms and vice versa.



YMCA of Metro Chicago President Dick Malone explained the Y's new transgender policy in a letter sent to members and on the organization's website, stating that the Y "supports every member having the opportunity to use the locker room and restroom they select based on their gender identity."



In a scenario that’s becoming increasingly common, when a YMCA parent complained that a male teenager was changing in the women's lockers, Y staff learned that the boy was a self-declared "transgender" person and defended the boy's use of the girls' showers.











Rae Ulrich, senior vice president of marketing for the YMCA of Metro Chicago, acknowledged that from the parent's perspective, "there was a man in the locker room.  But there wasn't. There was a transgender individual in the locker room."



Malone assured Chicagoland residents that despite its policy to allow the opposite sex in bathrooms, Y members are safe because "the expanded inclusion policy doesn’t give anyone a new opportunity to behave inappropriately."



The controversial policy, which affects all Y programs, including children’s camps and gym and pool facilities, applies to 21 Chicago area YMCAs, serving 140,000 people. It is not known whether Chicago's smaller, independent YMCAs will follow suit.



George Williams, a 22 year-old department store worker, gathered 11 friends to organize the first YMCA in 1844 as a refuge of Bible study and prayer for young men living on the dangerous streets of London.  Its mission for more than 170 years has been to "put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all."

American Values President Gary Bauer said he blames a recent spate of bathroom attacks on the Obama Administration. "The tragedy of political correctness when it comes to the Obama Administration's attempts to force changes across the country will be experienced by the weakest among us," Bauer told LifeSiteNews. "Already, we are hearing stories of abuse in bathrooms, as women and children are alone in closed locations with those who have the potential to hurt them."



Bauer concluded, "Common sense protections need to stay in place, so that the primary goal of public safety is not lost to the social engineering goals of those who do not care who is hurt by their policies."











Vitagliano added, "Christians should certainly be compassionate towards those who are confused or otherwise struggling over their sexual or gender identity, but other people have rights too. For example, many parents and many young people prefer that someone born male not be allowed to undress around girls. Why don’t those feelings count?”



The Chicago Tribune reports that YMCA policy is to address members by the name and pronoun they choose, "regardless of any sex listed on identification." Y staff are being trained by LGBTQ "experts."



In 2015, Pierce and Kitsap counties near Seattle adopted policies allowing members to choose whatever shower or changing room they wish, "no questions asked," but after receiving 1,000 complaints, slightly modified the policy to apply only to adult YMCAs.



A YMCA volunteer and mother named Jill told KTTH that the transgender policy puts children in danger. “(Employees) can’t ask them, they can’t tell them no,” she said. “So any man can say, hey, I’m transgender’ and go in that way.”



Jill explained that giving access to children in intimate private facilities increases the chance of sexual abuse. She also pointed out that the policy makes adults uncomfortable, too.



“Seeing a naked man in my locker room is sexual harassment for me,” Jill said. “That’s the way I feel about it.”



Michelle Larue, senior vice president of marketing with the Pierce and Kitsap YMCA, told KTTH that people who feel uncomfortable showering and changing clothes alongside the opposite sex may use one of the YMCA’s private rooms. But that is exactly the policy that transgenders have sued school districts over, claiming that "separate but equal" facilities are unconstitutional and discriminatory.

A mom at a suburban YMCA recently reported to employees that she was unnerved to find a teenager who appeared to be male using the women's locker room.











But YMCA staff later learned the teen was transgender and determined the youth had every right to access the women's facilities.











"From (the mother's) perspective, there was a man in the locker room," said Rae Ulrich, senior vice president of marketing for the YMCA of Metro Chicago. "But there wasn't. There was a transgender individual in the locker room."











This situation and a few similar scenarios have spurred the YMCA to craft guidelines for accommodating transgender members and guests, which include allowing them access to restrooms and changing areas that match their gender identity.



The protocol was explained in a letter posted Wednesday on the organization's website. The YMCA of Metro Chicago said it also sent the letter to its 140,000 members at its 21 Chicagoland centers. The guidelines will cover all YMCA of Metro Chicago programs and services, from gym and pool facilities to summer camps and various classes. The policies wouldn't apply to some smaller, independent YMCA's in the Chicago area.







"We recognize our commitment in support of the rights of all individuals can cause some to feel uncomfortable," says the letter, signed by Dick Malone, president and CEO of the YMCA of Metro Chicago. "Again, it's our goal for all members to thrive at the Y, and this is why we will do our best to support each of you while maintaining an environment that reflects the inclusive values we share."











Any patron — regardless of gender identity — can opt to use a single-stall or private area when available. YMCA officials say they're also working to add private spaces to all locations.











The YMCA's new guidelines come amid a fervent national debate on transgender rights, particularly over access to public bathrooms and locker rooms.











The U.S. Department of Justice and North Carolina filed clashing lawsuits in May over a new state law requiring everyone use public restrooms and changing areas that correspond to the sex on their birth certificate, which the governor there has called a common-sense privacy policy. The federal agency has said that law violates the Civil Rights Act.











A few days later, the Obama administration issued a directive that all public schools treat transgender students in a manner that correlates with their gender identity, regardless of the sex indicated on their education records or identification. Nearly two dozen states have sued the federal government over that directive.







Locally, a landmark case continues in northwest suburban Palatine after the U.S. Department of Education found Township High School District 211 violated Title IX when a transgender student wasn't permitted to use the girls locker room. The district then gave her access to the locker room, while also installing privacy stalls, but a group of parents and students in May filed a federal lawsuit against the Education Department and school district, arguing it created an intimidating and hostile environment for other students.











With dueling laws and lawsuits in the news, YMCA officials said some members had inquired about their organization's stance on transgender access to public facilities.











Employees are directed to refer to patrons by the name and pronoun they desire, regardless of any sex listed on identification. Staff members are being trained on best practices with the help of experts from the LGBTQ nonprofit Center on Halsted and the Gender and Sex Development Program at Lurie Children's Hospital.











When asked about the guidelines, people at the Elmhurst YMCA on Wednesday night had mixed reactions.











Greg Vanderlaan, 66, who said he has been a member since the mid-1980s, called the guidelines a "big mistake."







"Locker room access should be based on physiology," he said.











"How do you explain this to very young children?" said Joe Idaszak, 84, who also said he's gone to the YMCA for three decades.











But 23-year-old Jake Walters said it didn't really have an impact on him.











"It's kind of a topic people are talking about," he said. "It doesn't surprise me. It doesn't bother me."











The battleground for transgender rights has included other nationwide gyms and fitness centers.







A Michigan woman filed a lawsuit against Planet Fitness in 2015 when the national chain revoked her membership alleging she repeatedly complained about a transgender woman in the women's changing area; the gym has said its patrons are allowed to use the public facilities of their choice based on "sincere self-reported gender identity." A trial court judge dismissed the case in January, but the plaintiff appealed.











A YMCA in the Tacoma, Wash., area in April 2015 created a policy that allowed transgender patrons to use public facilities matching their gender identity but didn't communicate this to the general membership, and backlash ensued when the news spread unofficially, according to The News Tribune in Tacoma. The YMCA then revised its policy to allow transgender patrons this kind of access only at adult facilities but not at family facilities, which LGBT advocates decried as discriminatory. By the end of 2015, that YMCA returned to its original policy of allowing bathroom and locker room use based on gender identity.











The YMCA — the Young Men's Christian Association — was founded in London in 1844, and the organization's goal was "the spiritual and mental improvement of young men by any means in accordance with the Scriptures," according to the nonprofit's website. The YMCA is not affiliated with the YWCA. Each organization has its own rules and leadership.











The YMCA of Metro Chicago formed in 1858.

The Coca-Cola company recently debuted a bizarre advertisement in Argentina for its popular soft drink Sprite that completely ignores any pitch for the product itself and instead celebrates the LGBTQ agenda with a full 90-seconds of capering, cross-dressing males, “transgender” females trying to be boys, and other confused young people all dressing up to congregate at a local “gay pride” event.



As described in an article by BizPacReview.com, in one scene of the visually disturbing ad, “a girl helps her friend put on a binder, or an article of clothing commonly used by LGBTQ members to flatten their chests to present as male. In another, an older woman is seen helping a drag queen lace-up his corset. Yet another depicts two young children painting a heart onto a rainbow flag, the symbol of LGBTQ pride.”







Continues the BizPac piece: “These scenes play back-to-back with seemingly no context. In fact, the Sprite logo doesn’t even appear until the very last scene, leaving viewers wondering exactly what they’re seeing and why. More importantly, how does this tie in with carbonated beverages?



Maxi Itzkoff, the creative mind behind the ad, shed some light on the effort, explaining that the goal of the ad, along with others in the campaign, is to test innovative advertising — and, of course, to target young consumers. “The value of a brand could be greater by creating real empathy with the youth, instead of going and selling them a Sprite,” Itzkoff explained. “We got out of the habitual marketing tone, and out of what we are supposed to do and we ran away from the target clichés.”



Among those sounding off about the over-the-top ad were PJMedia.com columnist Megan Fox, who noted that every June major corporations dutifully climb on the LGBTQ bandwagon to show their support for the annual gay “pride” month. “But the choice to release this commercial in November, several months after Pride Month, is one more signal that the Transgender Mafia is stepping up their game and you will not be getting a reprieve for the rest of the year,” warned Fox. “It’s not enough to inundate people with transgender propaganda in the month of June. We must be subjected to it every single day of the year until we all conform and celebrate mental disorders.”



Similarly, the “Activist Mommy” blogger noted that a common strategy of companies that push the LGBTQ agenda “is to use emotional advertising like [the Sprite ad] to make those who are LGBT-identifying feel good about their lifestyle while simultaneously making those who disagree with the LGBT lifestyle appear to be cold-hearted, un-compassionate, and hateful. This is an artificial juxtaposition contrived to bring divide and further polarize the opposing sides of the culture war.”



She concluded her analysis by suggesting that it may be high time for individuals and families who embrace traditional, common-sense values to stop supporting companies and brands that denigrate those values. “So ask yourself,” wrote the Activist Mommy, “Do you want to continue to support companies who subtly render you ‘hateful’ just for opposing the dangerous and harmful LGBT lifestyle?”

Chick-fil-A’s announcement that it was dumping the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which have come under attack by gay activist groups, caught Christian fans of the fast food chain by surprise. It shouldn’t have if they had been paying attention to CFA’s corporate structure.



The donations were coming out of the Chick-fil-A Foundation. The Executive Director of the CFA Foundation is Rodney D. Bullard, a former White House fellow and Assistant US Attorney. Some may have mistaken him for a conservative because he was a fellow in the Bush Administration, but he was an Obama donor, and, more recently, had donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign while at Chick-fil-A.



Like many corporations, Chick-fil-A branded its charitable giving as a form of social responsibility. Bullard became its Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility. Unlike charity, corporate social responsibility is a leftist endeavor to transform corporations into the political arms of radical causes. Like other formerly conservative corporations, Chick-fil-A had made the fundamental error of adopting the language and the infrastructure of its leftist peers. And that made what happened entirely inevitable.



In an interview with Business Insider earlier this year, Bullard emphasized that the Chick-fil-A Foundation had a "higher calling than any political or cultural war." The foundation boss was preparing the way for the shakeup that was coming in the fall. Even while he claimed that the CFA Foundation had a higher calling than a political or cultural war, he was preparing to accommodate the Left’s cultural war.



Bullard would have been seen as a safe bet. The CFA Foundation and the Christian groups it supported were so entangled that Bullard serves on the Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board and was on the National Board of Trustees of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. But Bullard’s vision was not that of charity, but of corporate social responsibility. And the two things are fundamentally different.



Charity helps people. Corporate social responsibility is virtue signaling by capitalists to anti-capitalists. Unlike charity, corporate social responsibility isn’t about helping people, but ticking off ideological and identity politics boxes like diversity and the environment. If people accidentally get helped in the process of helping a corporation signal its membership in the politically correct creed, that can’t be helped.



The Chick-fil-A Foundation will go on funding leftist groups like Atlanta's Westside Future Fund. The Westside Future Fund is a project of the Atlanta Committee for Progress together with former Mayor Kasim Reed. It will just opt out of funding Christian groups whose views offend anyone on the Left.



The $1.7 million that the Westside Future Fund shoveled in last year from the CFA Foundation vastly outpaces the mere $115,000 that the Salvation Army got for its Angel Tree program to provide gifts for poor children during the holidays. But even that low end six figure donation was too much and the gifts had to be snatched away from the kids by leftist pressure groups and identity politics protesters.



Sorry kids, our politics are more important than your presents.



A less publicized donation of $100,000 went to Sustainable Atlanta. That could have bought a lot of gifts. There was also a $10,000 donation to Saris to Suits whose mission is to "advance women's empowerment, education, gender equality, and social justice."



There’s money for social justice, but not for the Salvation Army.



There was $25,000 for UNICEF and $75,000 for the Andrew Young Foundation. That last one isn’t a surprise. Carter’s radical UN ambassador sits on the CFA Foundation’s advisory board. $20,000 went to the Latino Leaders Network, another $20,000 to the Harvard Debate Diversity Network, $45,000 to the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, and $5,000 was allotted to Friends of Refugees.



The latter boasts of resettling the sort of refugees who would demand that Chick-fil-A go Halal.



There’s money for Muslim refugees, but not for the Salvation Army.



And that’s the tip of the iceberg. “Diversity”, “equity”, and “social justice” are typical buzzwords associated with many of the organizations that the Chick-fil-A Foundation had been funding. And that’s typical of corporate social responsibility ventures which are all about pictures of smiling poor children cradling green plants accompanied by women in hijabs. There’s nothing unusual about that.



But most conservatives thought, without investigating, that Chick-fil-A was different. It wasn’t another corporate social behemoth. It didn’t answer to shareholders and stakeholders. It had a biblical vision. And, it was under fire for donating to Christian groups. But even when the CFA Foundation donated to Christian organizations, it was also pouring a lot of money into conventional social justice causes.



The controversy and arguments over the donations to organizations like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes conveniently distracted from where a lot of the money was going.



The Fellowship of Christian Athletes had received a mere $25,000 last year. Far less than the funds that poured into Andrew Young’s non-profit empire. A fig leaf.



Now the fig leaf is gone and the reality is that the Chick-fil-A Foundation is just another corporate leftist charity that lavishes cash on organizations linked to local Democrats and assorted diversity causes.



Without the fig leaf, the Chick-fil-A Foundation is no different than the other corporate charities run by their own equivalents of Bullard, men and women who had spent enough time in government to get a useless job in the corporate world, and its abandonment of Christian conservatives was an inevitability.



And the question is what will the Christians who made Chick-fil-A boom do now?



They can either fight to hold Chick-fil-A accountable or shrug and accept another loss. Most of the country’s major brands are pipelines of cash that lead directly to leftist causes. Hardly any of the money that conservatives spend on products and services every day ends up going to conservative causes.



Major brands hammer the air with ad campaigns that directly attack the values and rights of ordinary Americans. And, most Americans, including conservatives, keep on buying from the same huge conglomerates like Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Diageo (Johnny Walker), RBI (Burger King and Popeyes), General Mills, and from retailers like Walmart, Target, and Amazon, despite their leftist politics.



Chick-fil-A was supposed to be different. If there’s any company that conservatives can hold accountable, this is it. And if they can’t hold Chick-fil-A accountable, then what’s left?



Accountability doesn’t just begin with restoring donations to worthy charities like the Salvation Army, but a serious reevaluation of the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s leadership and its overall charitable priorities.



If Chick-fil-A wants to be in the business of corporate social responsibility, rather than charity, it will over time become increasingly hostile to the very customers who made it successful. Corporate social responsibility will take it down the same dark road of virtue signaling and political correctness.



Then, before you know it, there will be a Chick-fil-A ad campaign about toxic masculinity.



And then the legacy of its founder will be as thoroughly lost as the legacies of the founders of so many other great American companies whose modern incarnations slavishly serve anti-American causes.



That would be a tragedy. This is a test of whether that tragedy is truly inevitable.



It’s also a warning. If conservatives had paid closer attention to the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s leadership, Bullard’s $1,000 donation to Hillary Clinton in 2016 would have provided a warning of what was coming.



Organizations don’t trend rightward. They trend leftward. Any organization that isn’t closely watched will go the way of the Chick-fil-A Foundation. If this can happen at Chick-fil-A, it can happen anywhere.

Chick-fil-A Touting Work of ‘LGBTQ-Inclusive and Affirming’ Covenant House on its Website—a Partnership that Will Expand in 2020

ATLANTA — The popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A has been touting the work of a pro-homosexual organization since May of this year — long before the recent outcry over its plan to halt donations to the Salvation Army, which also boasts of its service to homosexuals, and in 2017, actually cancelled a contract with another Christian charity due to its anti-inclusive views. The chicken giant continues its established path to affirm pro-homosexual nonprofits despite telling Christians that it has not caved to the pressure of the “LGBT” agenda.



In its press release on Monday, the Chick-fil-A Foundation outlined that it would be “expanding [its] partnership” with Covenant House International in its desire to continue to address youth homelessness. The organization had been one of the recipients of Chick-fil-A’s 2019 True Inspiration Awards, which honors the legacy of founder S. Truett Cathy and recognizes the work of nonprofits that the restaurant chain applauds.



In May, the Chick-fil-A Foundation posted an update on how two organizations it supports financially — Atlanta Mission and Covenant House International — were “making an impact in the area of youth homelessness.” It noted that many young people who age out of the foster care system or the juvenile justice system become homeless.



“Still others find themselves without a home after coming out to their parents or caregivers,” Chick-fil-A wrote. “A 2017 Chapin Hall report found that LGBTQ youth disproportionately experience homelessness. In fact, LGBTQ young adults had a 120% higher risk of reporting homelessness, even though they make up just five to 10 percent of the overall youth population.”



In providing various details on the work of Covenant House International, the Chick-fil-A Foundation specifically noted that Covenant House California works with the True Colors Fund, which addresses homelessness among homosexual youth and works to make partner organizations more “LGBT-inclusive and affirming.”



True Colors Fund was co-founded by secular rocker Cyndi Lauper and her agent Jonny Podell, and states on its website, “We believe in a world where every LGBTQ young person, wherever they live, is celebrated for being their authentic selves.”



“In California, Covenant House California — also a 2019 True Inspiration Award winner — is partnering with the True Colors Fund and enhancing its services to LGBTQ youth,” Chick-fil-A noted in its writeup. “The True Colors Inclusion Assessment was designed to help agencies implement best practices to welcome and serve LGBTQ youth. Based on the assessment outcome, the True Colors United team guides the agency through the necessary steps to create a more LGBTQ-inclusive and affirming program and environment.”



Rodney Bullard, vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility at Chick-fil-A, Inc., and executive director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation, then remarked in a statement, “We’re proud to work alongside Atlanta Mission, Covenant House International, Covenant House California and many other organizations that are working to understand and address the root cause of youth homelessness.”




Covenant House International has a page on its website dedicated to “LGBT Youth and Homelessness,” which outlines its works both nationally and internationally to “ensure that our houses are welcoming, affirming, and safe for LGBTQ youth.”

A press release also “proudly” announces“that the True Inclusion Assessment to increase lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) inclusivity has been completed throughout 16 US and Canadian Covenant House programs.” Another page provides photographs from Covenant House International’s participation in the NYC pride parade, as its float was trimmed with rainbow colors.



According to the Chick-fil-A Foundation, in 2018, “Covenant House received $225,000 in support of national and local programs (in California and Georgia) that support youth facing homelessness” and “The Chick-fil-A Foundation has since committed to a significant partnership with Covenant House in 2020.”



As previously reported, in March, Think Progress reported that Chick-fil-A had advised the outlet that “[i]n 2017, a decision was made by the Chick-fil-A Foundation to no longer donate to the [Paul Anderson Youth Home] after a blog post from 2010 surfaced that does not meet Chick-fil-A’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment to all.”

On Monday, controversy began stirring over whether or not Chick-fil-A had caved to complaints and resistance from homosexual advocacy groups after reports revealed that the company had discontinued donations to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Comments from Chick-fil-A President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Tassopoulos, as quoted by Bisnow, implied that the matter at least had some degree of influence in the decision.



“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are,” Chick-fil-A President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Tassopoulos was also quoted as stating. “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”



Tassapoulous serves on the advisory board of the Atlanta Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America.



As a result of the report, the Salvation Army released its own statement asserting that the charity was being mischaracterized in terms of its relationship to those who identify as homosexual. The organization, founded by evangelist William Booth in 1865, contended that it provides more assistance to homosexuals in poverty than any other charity.



“We’re saddened to learn that a corporate partner has felt it necessary to divert funding to other hunger, education and homelessness organizations — areas in which The Salvation Army, as the largest social services provider in the world, is already fully committed,” the organization wrote. “We serve more than 23 million individuals a year, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, we believe we are the largest provider of poverty relief to the LGBTQ+ population.”



“When misinformation is perpetuated without fact, our ability to serve those in need, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or any other factor, is at risk,” it continued. “We urge the public to seek the truth before rushing to ill-informed judgment and greatly appreciate those partners and donors who ensure that anyone who needs our help feels safe and comfortable to come through our doors.”



The organization also linked to a page on its website that is dedicated to information about its efforts surrounding those who identify as homosexual or transgender.



“Almost one-third of transgender people have been rejected from an emergency shelter. The Salvation Army created a dorm in Las Vegas to offer safety and shelter to this group, which is statistically more vulnerable to assault,” it reads.



“LGBTQ Americans are more likely to be poor. Many face disproportionate job and housing insecurity due to discrimination. Your donation could mean rental and utilities assistance,” the page also outlines.



However, the Christian Post released an article the same day with the headline “Chick-fil-A denies capitulating to LGBT activists; Christian groups won’t be excluded from donations.”



“Beginning in 2020, the Chick-fil-A Foundation will introduce a more focused giving approach, donating to a smaller number of organizations working exclusively in the areas of hunger, homelessness and education,” the company told the site. “We have also proactively disclosed our 2018 tax filing and a preview of 2019 gifts to date on chick-fil-afoundation.org. The intent of charitable giving from the Chick-fil-A Foundation is to nourish the potential in every child.”



“Our goal is to donate to the most effective organizations in the areas of education, homelessness and hunger. No organization will be excluded from future consideration — faith-based or non-faith based,” it added.



On Tuesday, Franklin Graham took to social media to outline that he personally called Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, who contended that the company had not changed because of pressure from homosexual advocates.



“I picked up the phone and called Dan Cathy. Dan was very clear that they have not bowed down to anyone’s demands, including the LGBTQ community,” he wrote.



“They will continue to support whoever they want to support. They haven’t changed who they are or what they believe. Chick-fil-A remains committed to Christian values. Dan Cathy assured me that this isn’t going to change. I hope all those who jumped to the wrong conclusion about them read this.”



However, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel soon released an op-ed opining that Graham hasn’t done his research.



“Franklin, you have done a huge disservice by not doing more investigation into Chick-fil-A’s betrayal and capitulation to the LGBT agenda. While Dan Cathy may say the company has the same values, the company’s statements and actions tell a different story,” he wrote.



Staver noted that, as stated, Chick-fil-A dropped the Paul Anderson Youth Home several years ago, and that Covenant House International is active in its homosexual advocacy.



“Covenant House also proudly supports the New York City Gay Pride parade with its own float, banners, t-shirts, and hashtag #CovUnity. Covenant House is recognized as a national funder of LGBTQ causes,” he outlined. “And Covenant House does not stop at LGBTQ activism; it also takes girls to abortion clinics.”



“To save its own corporate skin, Chick-fil-A has thrown good, biblical, organizations under the bus and legitimized the false narrative of the LGBT activists.”



As previously reported, Chick-fil-A has repeatedly stated since the original controversy in 2012 that the company intends to “leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.”

BRUSSELS, Belgium, November 20, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) ― Over 400 members of the European Parliament have voted to pass a resolution criticizing a Polish bill called “Stop Pedophilia” that seeks to protect minors from sexual abuse by adults.



The “Stop Pedofilii” bill seeks to make the incitement of minor children to sexual activity illegal in Poland. According to Euronews, the 471 MEPs who voted on November 14 to condemn Poland for the potential legislation were particularly concerned about the possibility of teachers and activists being sent to prison for promoting or approving underage sex.



That part of the bill states that “anyone who promotes or approves sexual intercourse or other sexual activity by a minor, in connection with performing the position, occupation, or performing activities related to upbringing, education, health care or care of minors, or operating on school premises or other educational or child care institution, is liable to imprisonment up to three years.”











The opening items in the bill stipulate fines, restricted liberty, or imprisonment for anyone who promotes or praises pedophile activity.



The age of consent in Poland is currently 15. According to the “AgeofConsent.net” website,  anyone who has sex with a  child under 15, including another child under 15, in Poland can be charged with statutory rape.



Opponents of the bill described it as seeking to “criminalize sex education in Poland.” However, defenders of the bill said it was designed simply to stop adults from encouraging minors to have sex and to protect the right of parents to direct their children’s sexual education themselves.



Polish journalist Krystian Kratiuk told LifeSiteNews via email that the European Parliament’s resolution was an “obvious scandal.”



“The EU Parliament has no right to interfere in Poland's internal affairs, including its education system,” he said.



Kratiuk explained that the “Stop Pedofilii” bill was submitted by Polish citizens themselves. The Polish Constitution allows for the introduction of a bill by ordinary citizens as long as it is signed by a group of 100,000 or more Poles who have the right to vote. The “Stop Pedofilii” citizen’s project has been signed by 265,000 Polish voters.



“It’s curious that the Left in Brussels wants to intervene in a legislative process based on the will of citizens,” Kratiuk said.



“After all, what is this about? A citizens’ project that prohibits inciting minors to have sex!”



The journalist underscored that the bill is not a ban on all sexual education.



“If someone during a sex education lesson persuades minors to have sex, according to this project they should, of course, be punished, but this is absolutely not about banning sex education as such.”



An explanatory note attached to the “Stop Pedofilii” bill gives some historical context for the proposal. It says some sex education teachers have been promoting sexual activity, including homosexual acts and masturbation, to Polish children, thanks to sexual education standards for Europe composed by the World Health Organization and the German Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA). These standards were introduced to Poland for the first time in 2013.



“According to the Standards, children of the age of 0–4 should learn information regarding masturbation and enjoying pleasure by touching their bodies,” the note states.











Apparently, the Standards also stipulate that children from the age of 4–6 are supposed to know how to express their own sexuality and sexual feelings as well as “take pleasure and joy in” masturbating. Children aged 6–9  must learn about sexual consent and different methods of intercourse and contraception. Children between 9 and 12 are supposed to learn how to use condoms, learn about their first sexual experiences, and receive information about orgasms. Children between 12 and 15 should be able to communicate about their own and their partners’ desires “in order to have safe and pleasant sex.”



“According to the Standards, at every step of development there is also intensive familiarizing of children with homosexuality,” the note adds.



Krystian Kratiuk sees the debate over the “Stop Pedofilii” bill as another battle between a left-leaning European Parliament determined to impose its worldview and a proud nation that cares deeply for its children.



“The Left dominates the EU Parliament,” he told LifeSiteNews.



“Although Poles were promised before they joined the EU that they would always be sovereign in worldview, the Left wants to decide from Brussels what Polish teachers teach Polish children,” he continued.



“Poles will never agree to this.”  



Kratiuk believes that his countrymen will particulary resent the attempts of MEPs to condemn a bill against pedophilia as an attempt to deprive people of their freedoms and their right to education.



However, he admits that there are Poles among the MEPs and activists who object to the “Stop Pedofilii” bill. Kratiuk told LifeSiteNews that left-wing Polish activists invite their “progressive colleagues from all over Europe” to Poland.



“They are common traitors to the Polish cause ― to Polish religious beliefs, to Polish tradition, and to the Polish family.”



Kratiuk is pessimistic about the chances that “Stop Pedofilii” will gain a majority vote in the Sejm, the lower house of Poland’s Parliament.



“MPs will probably ‘freeze’ it, just as they did with the citizens’ bill completely prohibiting abortion,” he said.



The journalist was referring to the “Stop Abortion” (“Zatrzymaj aborcję”) bill that was signed by more than 830,000 Polish citizens and supported by the Catholic Church. The bill seeks to outlaw the abortion of unborn children on the grounds that they are sick and disabled. Besides so-called “fetal abnormality,” the other circumstances under which abortion is permitted in Poland is if the unborn child is the result of a criminal act or poses a severe threat to the life or health of his mother. 



One hundred twenty-eight MEPs voted against the condemnation of the “Stop Pedofilii” Bill, and 57 abstained.

DALLAS, Texas, November 21, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – LifeSiteNews and another independent news agency filed legal action against the judge who locked them out of the James Younger trial ruling. 



LifeSiteNews and The Texan have filed a joint Writ of Mandamus requesting Judge Kim Cooks allow media access to her courtroom for all future hearings for this case and that she remove the “unconstitutional” gag order placed on Jeffrey Younger, the father who objected to his seven-year-old son, James, being “transitioned” to a girl.



LifeSiteNews and The Texan “seek emergency action to prevent further infringement, requesting mandamus to require Judge Cooks to respect Relators’ freedom of the press, lift the trial court’s illegal, unnoticed, and unsupportable order preventing disfavored media coverage, and to lift the trial court’s gag order of Mr. Younger.”











On October 24, 2019, LifeSiteNews, The Texan, and other independent news agencies were locked out of Judge Kim Cooks’ courtroom for her final ruling on the contentious custody battle while other media were allowed in. The only reason the case eventually gained national media attention was because of coverage from LifeSiteNews and The Texan.



Mr. Jeffrey Younger was fighting to prevent his ex-wife Dr. Anne Georgulas from subjecting James to a gender “transition.” Dr. Georgulas had enrolled James in school as a girl since kindergarten and medical records indicate she planned to seek a medical “transition” for him as early as next year. 



The battle sparked a public outcry after a jury ruled against Mr. Younger’s request for sole managing conservator. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called for an investigation into the situation, as did other conservative leaders.



Prior to the jury ruling, no mainstream media reported on the trial. Only LifeSiteNews and The Texan were present for the entire trial. A Russian reporter was present for the first part of the trial, but not for its entirety. At no point during the trial were any of the reporters asked for credentials.



On October 24, however, close to 75 people were waiting in the foyer to listen to Judge Cooks read her ruling on the case. At the appointed time, the bailiffs opened the doors and allowed only media members with a hard card press pass to enter the courtroom. 



Despite showing other credentials, business cards, news pieces, drivers’ licenses, and other forms of identification, independent media was denied access. A personal friend of Judge Cooks, Cydney Walker, was allowed into the courtroom without a press pass. 



After the ruling, LifeSiteNews asked Ms. Walker how she was able to enter the courtroom without a press pass. Ms. Walker informed LifeSiteNews that Judge Cooks had texted her asking her to come. She showed the text to the bailiff and was allowed entry without a press pass.



The Writ of Mandamus argues that Judge Cooks violated “freedom of press as guaranteed by the Constitution of the State of Texas and the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.” The filing questions the legality of the institution of an arbitrary restraint for media entrance to the courtroom. 



Additionally, the writ of mandamus argues that the gag order placed on Mr. Younger is unconstitutional. 



The filing highlights the lack of “imminent and irreparable harm” to the children needed to legally justify a gag order. Judge Cooks’ ruling states the gag order was implemented “due to serious concern for the protection and welfare of the children.”

‘I feel it’s against my rights as a student,’ says female student athlete

A student at a high school in Illinois voiced her opposition to a new transgender policy that allows male students to change in the girls’ locker room.



Students had mixed reactions following the Palatine-Shaumburg District 211 school board’s 5-2 decision last Thursday to pass the policy, which grants transgender students “unrestricted” locker room access.














“I feel uncomfortable. My privacy’s being invaded,” Fremd High School student athlete Julia Burca stated in an interview following the vote.



“As a swimmer, I change multiple times, naked, in front of the other students in the locker room,” Burca said.



“I feel very uncomfortable and I feel it’s against my rights as a student,” Burca said in another interview.








Another female student interviewed by ABC 7 Chicago related, “I do not want to see a transgender student naked in the locker rooms.”



Meanwhile, purple-haired trans student Nova Maday was happy the policy was enacted, but says it didn’t go far enough.



“I’m ecstatic,” Maday said in an interview.



“It’s definitely a first step forward in many more steps. It’s a great policy. Unfortunately it’s not everything we want,” Maday stated.



Maday was one of the students who filed a lawsuit against the district back in 2017 over locker room access, claiming his gender identity trumped natural biology.



According to ABC 7, the board indicated that only students who’ve “officially identified” as a different gender will be allowed access to the locker room “that corresponds to their identity.”

Child sex trafficking investigators, who are part of the task force looking into Jeffrey Epstein and his associates on behalf of the FBI’s New York field office and NYPD, have allegedly interviewed a man who claims former President Bill Clinton raped him when he was 8-years-old.



According to True Pundit, an FBI source said, “We are treating him as a victim,” before conducting the examination.



Despite Jeffrey Epstein’s suspicious death, the FBI task force established to investigate him remains active, with an FBI official telling True Pundit, “We still have a job to do here and that’s what we’re doing.”







The True Pundit’s anonymous author, who goes under the pseudonym Thomas Paine, claims to have escorted the victim to FBI Headquarters in Manhattan where the interview took place.



Describing the lead-up to escorting the victim to FBI headquarters, Paine explained, “I originally interviewed the victim with journalist Jen Moore who provided the details against Bill Clinton and other elite politicians to child trafficking specialists in DHS Department of Homeland Security and the FBI in July 2018.”



Continuing, the author said, “But Moore and the traumatized victim wanted to contact Homeland Security and the FBI first to see if they would open a criminal case against Clinton prior to publicizing the claims.”



Then, four weeks after Moore contacted the Feds, she was found dead in her D.C. hotel room after allegedly suffering a seizure.



Clearly, the timing of Moore’s death was suspicious and it also caused the victim to become even more fearful for his life than he already was, ultimately persuading him to not go public with the filmed interview.



Now, over a year after Moore’s death and following his sit-down with the FBI, the victim has given his blessing on the release of the True Pundit interview from 2018.

The victim described being prostituted by his great-uncle while on a yacht in New England when he was eight-years-old.



The boy, now 27-years-old, claims to have been molested by three separate adult men during that one yacht trip.



Having been molested from age three on, the victim said he “just didn’t question where he was,” when going to unfamiliar places such as the yacht.



The victim’s great-uncle would allegedly take money from men before they entered the room and engaged in sexual activities with the young boy while the uncle stood watch outside the door.



When asked about Bill Clinton’s involvement, the victim explained that before he was raped by Clinton, “There was an incredibly violent display going on.”



“I don’t wanna talk too much about that right now,” he added.



However, the victim did go on to explain how he was held up by his great-uncle and had the bottom of his feet slashed by an accomplice who then collected the blood in a chalice and drank from it before walking back into a crowd of people watching.



Next, the victim’s uncle supposedly singled Bill Clinton out of the crowd and the former president shrugged as if to say, “What am I gonna do? I have to do it.”



The man conducting the interview asked the victim if any other children were on-board the yacht and he said he saw two other kids his age.



“I remember there being a young girl on one of the four pedestals… There might have been, I think there was a teenage girl on one of them,” he detailed.



The victim provided a comprehensive account describing the ritual he said he was involuntarily engaged in:





“When I was taken into the ballroom, these people were marched diagonally through the room from one entrance up the other to get to the top of the boat and they were all bleeding from their feet and they had cuts from their chest to their abdomen. When I was finally brought out to the top of the boat they were all already on the ground being forced to continue having sex… So, there are the people who are part of the display, the victims, and there are four pedestals with women of different stages of sexual development on them and on the middle pedestals was Bill Clinton. I don’t remember looking up, but I have found a picture of a boat that looks exactly like this one, and in this picture, this boat has a section above the top deck which is also closed off like this one was.”





The yacht incident was not the victim’s only exposure to this type of behavior as he claims to have been subjected to molestation over the course of his whole life.



He says to have been used “as a prop for child pornography,” and also details one “incredibly bizarre” instance where he was used as a prop in a blackmail operation.



He recounts two men taking him to an apartment belonging to a couple he describes as “professional people,” maybe lawyers or accountants, who were in bed when one of the victim’s handlers put the child into the bed and told the couple to have sex with him.



“When they started to comply, they were told ‘Oh no, don’t have sex together, have sex with the child in your bed,'” he testified.



Before being taken out of the couple’s bed, the victim’s handler showed them a device in their closet that “looks like an intercom” and said he was recording them.



The handler then told the child that in the future “computers” would be used to spy on people for blackmail purposes.



Prior to leaving the couple’s apartment, the handler is said to have walked into the bathroom, picked up a tile off the floor and removed a vile of blood from underneath.



Holding the vile for the couple to see, he said, “You’re gonna be involved in a criminal case pretty soon.”



Next, the victim described how his first memory of being molested was when his biological father allowed someone to rape him in exchange for “a large amount of cocaine.”



The interview ended when the victim supposedly became so nauseous that he began vomiting into a wastebasket.



Lending credibility to True Pundit’s supposed FBI sources and the allegation that the author accompanied the victim on his trip to the FBI’s Manhattan HQ is the outlet’s coverage of an FBI agent’s suicide in July of 2019.



Before any other news outlet, True Pundit’s FBI sources confirmed the death of supervisory special agent Salvatore “Sal” Cincinelli.



While this testimony is intriguing, it is now up to the FBI to follow up on the claims being made and to find out if there is any truth to the startling accusations.

David Horowitz:  Welcome to the 25th annual Restoration Weekend.  We began these gatherings at the Miami Derail Hotel, and that was before Donald Trump bought it, and the Democrats turned it into another way to attack their President and their country.  For 27 years after the founding of our Freedom Center in 1988, we were a lonely voice, warning that the political left had declared war on America and was a willing collaborator with America's enemies abroad and criminals at home.  We also warned that the anti-American left was steadily gaining control of the Democratic party.  A goal it achieved when it put one of its own in the White House in 2008.  All these years, we felt like a voice crying in the wilderness.  Democrats attack Republicans as racists, sexists, homophobes, and Islamophobes.  Republicans and Conservatives generally called Democrats Liberals.  They're not Liberals.  We scolded our political friends.  They are vindictive bigots.  They're radicals, and they hate America.



Our isolation and misery ended the day Donald J. Trump threw his hat in the political ring and promised to put America first again.  I was completely taken with this gutsy patriot the moment he descended the tower and spoke the first, honest words about the invasion on our Southern borders that any public figure, Republican or Democrat, had ever uttered.  Trump and the Trump family are fighters in a way that Republicans have not been since Ronald Regan, or more likely, since Abraham Lincoln.  I did have some nagging thoughts in the early days of the primaries.  Donald Trump was too edgy, and off-the-cuff, and too self-confident not to raise concerns as to where he might eventually be going.  The attacks on him by Republicans and Democrats alike were so nasty and extreme that I looked for some reassuring sign, that this man was a man of character, who was going to live up to his word and not take us over the cliff.  I found that sign in his family, a member of which is with us today.  We are honored to host him.  I am something of an expert on the difficulties of motivating the signs of famous and wealthy families and keeping them on course.



With Peter Collier, I co-authored three best-selling biographies of the Rockefellers, the Kennedys, and the Fords.  The Rockefeller dynasty produced many children, but none able to manage their business empire, or who even amounted to much.  The Kennedys produced one President and many embarrassments, drugs, scandals, and early deaths, but when Donald Trump turned to politics, he was able to place his business empire securely in the hands of his three incredibly capable and accomplished children.  When he decided to run for President, those same children appeared with him on the political stage and became important agents of his political machine and assets for his political future.  Trump accomplished this despite the obstacles of three divorces, the distractions of a public life, and the fact that he was still building his business empire while parenting his children.  When I saw this achievement, I put all doubts behind me and embraced his political cause.



We are privileged to have Donald Trump's youngest son, Don Jr., with us this morning.  He is here in connection with his new book, Triggered.  Well, you all have it on your tables, Triggered, which I strongly recommend to anyone interested in the battles he and his father have had to wage.  Anyone curious as to how a Trump's son is brought up and what he believes, and anyone interested in how astutely he understands and is at war with the destructive left.  In my mind, this is particularly important because I not only believe there will be a Trump second term, but in 2024, there will probably be a Trump to lead this war as well.  Don Jr.'s book is actually a page-turner and a particularly rich trove of information.  It delivers more insight and humor than you probably expect.  For example, you might wonder how Don Jr., the younger son, got the dynastic name.  According to Triggered, it was his mother who gave it to him.  "When my mother first approached my father with the idea of naming me Don Jr., my father is rumored to have said, 'We can't do that.  What if he's a loser.'  Again, no idea whether my father ever really said this, but it sure sounds like him."



How did Trump Sr. shape and motivate his son to be worthy of the Trump name?  Triggeredprovides many answers, but here's one I especially liked.  When he was 17, Don Jr. was given a job working the Trump Casino in Atlantic City, where he was surrounded by beautiful women and beautiful vistas, made hundreds of dollars in tips a day and enjoyed an exceptionally good life for a young man.  Then he was promoted to a more responsible job, clearing development land for future Trump projects.  Here is how Don Jr. describes his reactions to the new job.  "I thought, I used to make hundreds of dollars in tips, smelling nothing but sunscreen and saltwater, and now, I'm in mud and sawdust up to my knees, wiping dirt out of my eyes, and working around sweaty dudes for less money.  I decided to ask my father for a raise.  I assumed that he would immediately raise my pay and commend me for realizing how unfair the system was to working guys like me."  In Triggered, Don Jr. describes what followed in a one-scene play.  First, alerting the reader that, "Don Jr. does not have a major speaking role in the play."  The scene is set in the dining room in Trump Tower, with Donald J. Trump seated at the head.  Enter Don Jr. with very long hair, probably wearing cargo shorts and a camouflage t-shirt.  Don Jr., "Dad, I've realized that even though I'm doing more work on the jobsite, you are paying me way less money for it.  Why didn't I get a raise?"  Dad, "Well, you didn't ask me for more money, so I didn't give you more money.  That's how the world works.  Why would I give you more money than you're willing to work for?  That would make me an idiot."  Don Jr., "I, er."  Dad, "Why would I do that?  You think people are going to give you more money just because you're a nice guy?  They're not, Donny.  Anything you want, you have to go out and get it.  Nothing is going to be handed to you.  Nothing.  You have to earn it before you ask for it.  Always remember, you don't get anything you don't ask for."



The lesson Don Jr. learned was as true in the boardroom of Trump Tower as it is out on the campaign trail.  "As I learned time and time again in 2016, if you want someone to vote for you, you have to go to work and earn that vote.  If you want a donation, you need to explain where the money is going to go and why you need it.  You shouldn't take anyone's support for granted, and once you get that support, it's time to enact policies that will make the people who gave you their vote proud that they did."



Donald Trump Jr. is a formidable young man in his own right.  He's a gusty and sharp-tongued fighter who knows the left for what it is.  He is already a political leader in the war for the future of our country.  We are honored and proud to have him as our speaker this morning.



Donald Trump, Jr.:  Thank you very much, David.  I truly appreciate it.  It's great to be here.  The last part of that story that you were talking about with the job was I then tried going retroactive to earlier in the summer with the raise, and that failed more miserably than anything else I've ever tried in my life, but at least, the lesson stuck.  Sometimes you need a little bit more to make that happen, but thank you again for being here, and thank you to everyone in the room.  It's great to be here.



Watching the mainstream media lose their minds over the last day or two, when I became a New York Times number one best-seller, has been rather awesome, and it sort of depicts very well the outrage cycle in which we live.  They tried doing this thing today.  I just spoke out about it on Fox and Friends.  They started saying well, there were bulk sales with Donald Trump Jr.'s book.  I go, explain that to me.  They're like, well, the RNC bought some books.  I go, that's true.  They did.  They bought books.  They marked them up 300 percent and sold them to individuals within minutes, so how is that a bulk sale?  That seems like it'd be a good thing, right?  Well, yes, but it was 10,000 books, so that's a bulk sale.  I say, okay.  How many books did I sell?  They go, you sold 70,000, which is about on par with what Elton John did for his biography, which was, you know, I'll take.  I go, what was number two?  They go, 30,000.  So I go, okay, I'm not so great at math, but if you take out the 10,000 you're claiming are bulk sales, even though they were marked up and sold, you'd think marking it up would make it harder not easier to sell, right, but math and facts don't work with the left.  It's like leftist Kryptonite, so I said, take them out.  Where am I at?  They're like, you're at 60,000, so I said, how much more is 60,000 than number two at 30,000?  They go, two times.  I go, don't I still win?  I mean, this is what we're up against.  This is the insanity.  I mean, so much of why I wrote a book, and I got to experience something pretty incredible over the last few years.  I got to be the tip of the spear of one of the greatest political upsets in history, at a time where we probably needed it more than ever.



I think Conservatives, the Republican Party, their specialty over the last few decades have been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.  No, I mean that.  Listen, you know, I get some of that mentality, and I understand sort of the religious connotation and the ties of turning the other cheek, but it's failed us for 50 years, while we have ceded ground to a party that plays by a different set of rules, and I said, I don't care what game we've been playing.  If everyone is playing t-ball, that's fine.  If everyone wants to play hardball, even better, but we can't be playing t-ball while they're playing hardball, so I got to experience American political history.  Frankly, now really American history at the forefront of that greatest upset, and then I also got to be part of some of the retribution.



Some of the attacks afterwards, and so when you go from that sort of, the good to the most vicious aspects of our political system, for me, that was being the number two target of the Mueller hoax.  I call it a hoax because it was pretty clear within about 30 seconds of Robert Mueller getting on the stand.  I'm literally live tweeting.  I go, will one congressman please ask Mr. Mueller, have you read the report that bears your name?  Uh, well, um, no.  That's not in my ****.  I go, ask him about Fusion GPS.  No, I don't know. I don't know who that is, never heard of him.  I go, literally, interns in Washington DC know who Fusion GPS is.  I said if you've opened a newspaper in the last 5 years, you know who they are, and he had no idea.  I go, you mean to tell me you've spent 2 ½ years and $40 million, and you have no idea how this whole thing started, and for the American people who hadn't quite got what had been going for that last 2 ½ years, that drove home the point.  This was a person that was put in there, not because he was a great prosecutor looking to get to the bottom of this.  This person was put in there because he was perfect pawn.  No more.  He was a perfect pawn because he had a track record that was beyond reproach, right?  He was the former head of the FBI.  I don't know that means anything anymore after what we've seen.  No, after what we've seen?  You know, I still like the door kickers, but the guys at the top, the lawyer bureaucrats, not so much.  He was a former decorated Marine, and again, this is someone who Donald Trump couldn't attack, and that's why he was there, so when he managed to miraculously form an unbiased team of 19 Hillary Clinton donors.  I'm like, this doesn't seem like it's exactly some sort of egalitarian process.  Three-quarters of them, they were at Hilary's failed celebration that never happened.  The glass ceiling that she didn't quite break, and the American people got to see exactly what this was all about.  A set up because someone had the guts to take on that establishment.  Someone had the guts to take on these people, who know better even though they've not been elected, and that's what we're seeing today.



We're seeing a continuation of the hoax that failed miserably, and this is just version 2.0.  You can see, it's amazing.  I seem to be part of every outrage cycle.  Now, I've been on stage for a few minutes now, so that may have changed because the outrage cycle, oh come on.  They could have gone to three or four things since I've started speaking, but the outrage cycle of last week was me.  I outed the whistleblower, apparently.  No, I did.  Even I was shocked at that.  I go, how did I out him?  Well, you tweeted about him.  I go, let's go further into this.  I tweeted about you.  You mean, I retweeted an article that had his name in the title of the article that's all over the internet.  His name was on Drudge Report 4 days prior.  He was in Real Clear Politics the day before that, but I outed him, and I realized, they're not upset that I apparently outed him because only a moron would think that retweeting an article, with someone's name in the title of the article, is outing him, like I formed a group of spies to spy on this CIA guy to out him, and I realized it's the same thing.  It's Mueller 2.0.  They weren't upset that I outed him.  They were upset that now that the name was out there, people on our side could look into it.  They could look into it and see that he was Joe Bidding's guest at a state dinner.  They could see that he is good buddies with John Brennan.  He's the side that can lie to Congress, and there's no consequence.  Not the other side, right?  He's the guy crying like a petulant child outside of the Oval Office the day after my father won, with Susan Rice, and you realize ah, that's why they're upset, because he's no longer this innocent and humble public servant, trying to do good for his country.  He is another leftist bureaucrat doing what they've been doing for 3 damn years, and everyone now sees it.  So, again for me, I got to experience the best and the worst.  I still continue to be a part of it, but I got to go around the country.  I got to see the American people then and because unlike Hunter Biden, we were actually international businesspeople prior to politics.  Right?  This is one of the great false equivalencies I talk a little bit about in the book, and they, well you're the son of a rich guy too.  I go, true.  You've been able to parley and take advantage of your father's last name throughout your career.  I go, true.  They go, well then what's the difference between you and Hunter Biden.  I go, I didn't do it off of my father's taxpayer funded office.  We were international businesspeople for 20 years.  We stopped doing new international business the day my father won.  We did a whole press conference on it.  Hunter Biden magically became an international businessperson when he could do it, so I always do the false equivalency of the media.  One of the big topics of the book is really sort of outstanding because they never talk about that part.  They just say, well you guys are the same.  I say, let's point out these differences, and we go into them, and I do, and so even when I point them out, it's amazing how that still never makes it into the story the next day.



So, I spend so much time talking about the media bias because I've seen it.  I've seen it firsthand.  I mean, David, for one of the things, obviously, that is near and dear to your heart, the most flagrant example of which I saw last week when the Washington Post where I read about democracy dying in darkness and all sorts of things, but they were able to take the killing of Al Baghdadi, the founder and leader of ISIS, a man that has murdered, raped, pillaged, doused people in gasoline, and lit them on fire while in cages, and turn him into an austere religious scholar.  When my father asks, is the mainstream media the enemy of the people.  When you see a headline like that, do you not wonder for yourselves?  Does it not make you think if they can turn that person into an austere religious scholar, what can't they say about anything?  I mean, imagine that that is the filter by which we are seeing our news.  You take truth, you run it through that level of hatred, and that's what's getting to the American people, and that's what's truly scary, so when I got to go around the country, I would make this speech.  I would talk to regular people.  I'd do that.



I'm probably much more comfortable, frankly, myself in sort of heartland America than I am on the rubber chicken charity dinner circuit in New York, which was never really my thing, and so I'd be telling these stories along the way to people, and they said eventually, Don, you have to put this down in a book.  You have to write that down, and for years it was, Don, you should write a book about business.  I go, I think my father has that one covered.  Probably not going to work so well, but when I was able to do that, I took that down because so much of my life, amazingly, is relevant to what's going on in this country right now, and again, I'm an unlikely conservative in the sense that I'm the son of a billionaire from New York City.  Went to an Ivy League, and that doesn't exactly crank out a lot of conservatives, but experiences of my life have sort of molded who I am, and it didn't just start when my father entered politics.



One of the big pushes we see these days is an extreme push towards socialism and communist principles of the left.  This is no longer a fringe element of the party.  These are mainstream candidates.  Many of them leading, pushing these elements, and I talk about that extensively in the book because I have a mother that escaped from communist Czechoslovakia.  She left.  The boats usually only go one way, in that, but I also have grandparents that grew up in that system, and I had the blessing of having them have the common sense to say and see how lucky we are over here in this country with our freedoms, and my grandfather used to have that conversation with my father at a young age, and your child has to see the other side, and so I spoke Czech fluently by the time I was about 3, and starting from about 5 or 6, he would take me over there every summer.  For a month to 6 weeks, I had friends, and I've seen those breadlines.  Not so glamourous.  I can assure you, there's frankly nothing less glamourous than an empty supermarket and waiting for food.  I remember my earliest memory, and it's not because it was a good one.  It was because it was the first time I'd actually really experienced fear, was going over there for the first, and it was early 80s.  I looked pretty cool.  I was wearing a jean jacket with stars on it.  I'm going through customs, and I got pulled out of line by a guy, like a soldier in a drab communist era type of uniform with an AK over his shoulder, and he's questioning me.  Was I there, essentially trying to preach capitalism in America?  I said, I'm 5 years old, and I'm not like one of these woke Twitter 5 year olds that you read about today.  My 3 year old asked me about nuclear proliferation on the Korean peninsula.  I'm like, I'm calling BS on that one.  He didn't do it, but you know, good for you to try to drag a child into it to prove your point, but that was one of my earliest memories.  I got to see what that system does to good people.  Intelligent people and how it zaps them of any motivation to do anything above and beyond the bare minimum.



I got to question, when I looked at my parents wedding picture as a child, and say, well that's great.  You know, there's my mom.  There's my grandfather.  Where's my grandmother?  Why is she not there?  Well, they wouldn't let her out of the country because if they both left, they would defect, so they kept control by keeping my grandmother away from going to her daughter's wedding.  What kind of system doesn't let you leave because they know you ain't coming back?  So, when I see these things being and becoming mainstream in American politics, it's pretty scary, and my 93‑year-old grandmother, she's still alive today.  She spends a few months with us here every year.  She's got to watch her daughter live the American dream, and when I get that call from her every few weeks because she's watching CNN over there, because there's no conservative outlet.  There is no alternate viewpoint, in tears.  You don't understand.  You can't let those systems come there, and don't kid yourselves.  This isn't a typical 93‑year-old woman.  This is someone who spent her early adult years hiding in the basement of her farmhouse from the Nazis during World War II.  She then lived under communist occupation for 40 years.  She's seen what these things do.  She gets it, and when she calls me every few weeks in tears for fear of the future and wellbeing of her grandchildren, that's me, my brother, my sister.  Her great grandchildren, our children.  It sort of tells me all I need to know, and why we have to engage and be in this fight together.  It's literally my motivation.  These things don't work.  They've failed over and over and over, and when she's calling me in tears, it's sort of my motivation to get out there to make sure that we don't let this stuff happen because I always find it so interesting, and anyone who's watched the democrat debates over the last few months.



They can find anyone that will say something incredibly stupid.  It's like their superpower.  Right?  I mean, there is nothing that they will not say, no matter how idiotic and yet I always wonder why is it they're not able to find someone who's actually lived under those great systems that they're espousing who will vouch for them.  Right?  I mean, they'll say anything.  They'll tell you that the $93 trillion green new deal will magically pay for itself like freaking Santa Clause.  Right?  I mean, sure.  It's only 15 times US Government revenue to stop farting cows and air travel.  What could go wrong?  It'll pay for itself.  It's going to take care of people who are not willing to work.  Not those, just who are not able to work.  They can't even make the distinction, and I say, you can do that, but you can't find one person from former communist Czechoslovakia, the rest of the eastern bloc, former Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, Cuba, a little closer to home.  Why is there no one from there on the Democrat platform saying, no, no, no, let's bring that crap here?  It's awesome.  Because it doesn't exist, and that's why you needed Donald Trump.  You needed someone as the conservative who doesn't care about being loved or liked.  I don't want the nicest guy in the world running our country because guess what guys.  He's not going to be able to make the tough decisions.  I don't want the guys, the sort of Mitt Romney's of the world, who want to be loved by the media and will say and do anything to achieve that goal despite those being the same people that destroyed him when he ran, but he didn't have the guts to push back.  That's the difference.  Right?



And so in these crazy times, Donald Trump is the guy that you need.  You need a fighter.  He has shown conservatives that you can push back.  He has shown conservatives, you don't just have to lose because the other side would love you to, and as I opened up, that hasn't been a conservative norm.  We've turned the other cheek, and in doing so, we've ceded ground for decades.  We've lost pop culture.  We've lost academia.  We've lost so many things where our children are simply being indoctrinated into this school of though of idiocy where you can't back it up, and so again, I got to put all these things down in the book.  One of the ones I got killed about a few weeks ago was talking on and taking on the transgender issue, and by the way, I'm from New York.  I'm a pretty live and let live kind of guy, despite how I'm portrayed in the media, and I just said, where do the goal posts of the left stop moving?  Because you can be very live and let live.  You can be woke today.  By tomorrow, you're alt-right, and even some of the great leaders of some of these causes have just been simply destroyed because the left will eat their own if you don't buy into 100 percent of whatever it is they're pitching.  The example in the book that I used, I just said hey as the father of some girls, I have an issue with some of the transwomen.  Right?  They were men last week.  Now they're women, and they're competing against other women in sports, and you've seen every weightlifting record being broken.  You saw last week the world record in bicycle racing.  You saw the MMA fighter that was a male fighter, transitioned to female.  Jumped in the ring.  Fractured the skull and orbital bone of a female fighter.  I just said, where are the feminists?  Where are the people who fought for Title IX?  Who fought for equality?



Because this doesn't seem like there's all that much equality out there, and Martina Navratilova came out.  Not because of me, but she came out as one of the great sort of female athletes of modern time.  This was someone who was an out lesbian for over 40 years.  An activist for that cause for, let's call it 35 years before it was cool.  Someone who's dedicated her life to it, and she basically said the same thing as me.  We just, hey as a female athlete, I think this is a little bit ridiculous.  And within minutes she was destroyed.  40 years of activism for her cause forgotten.  So much so, she had to walk it back.  She lost gigs.  She got thrown off boards for simply having an opinion that diverged slightly from what today's talking points are.  She was destroyed so badly, 3 weeks later despite having we sort of grew up knowing her and everything like that, she had to come out hitting Trump because that's the penance you have to pay.  Right?  To get back into Woke Culture.  All of a sudden, I've been destroyed, well now Trump, Trump's really bad.  Trump's terrible, but that shows you what we're up against.



David, you know it better than anyone as a reformed radical yourself.  There is never enough for the other side.  They will continue to change the goalposts as we've seen in the impeachment inquiry.  Well, we're not making gains with this, so we'll change the supposed crime and alter it daily to match what a focus group has said so that we can win in 2020 because everyone knows nothing actually happened, but it's about doing as much damage as they can because they know they can't win in the voting booth, but it is great to see, David, what you are doing here.  That you have people who are willing to stand up.  That are willing to fight back.  Understanding that there are consequences.  There are consequences to being conservative.  There are consequences to being a vocal conservative, and there are much more consequences to being a vocal Trump supporting conservative, but I – thank you.  But I can assure you, I've been around the country.  I've been with those people who've been called every name in the book who are considered and hated by the media for simply wanting to live their American dream.  For wanting to have their taxpayer dollars go towards their children.  Maybe their grandchildren.  And when I turn on the TV, and I see that hatred from the media.



Maybe the best example is, because it really does drive home the point.  In Florida here, up in Orlando earlier in the summer, it was around June.  We launched the 2020 campaign.  47,000 people showed up to a political rally to an arena that held 25,000.  Many knew, half, that they wouldn't even get in, and they waited outside in rain and thunderstorms for 2 days to get a glimpse of the president.  To listen perhaps to his message in the studio or outside on loudspeakers.  It was incredible.  I got to introduce the vice president, who introduced the president.  I mean, this was right after Mueller gave his garbled speech where he was saying give me a break.  It was an incredible thing to see.  Just the amount of warmth and love and everything was there.  We left the arena, and I put on the TV to see how it was going to be covered, and I'm watching the mainstream media, and I'll watch the other side as well, and I think I turned on, I think it was MSNBC.  I turned it on, did you see those people?  Ugh.  They were there in their flip flops.  That must be their formal attire.  Hahahaha.  And honestly, it pissed me off.  Again, those are the same people who for years didn't understand what happened in 2016 because the three people that they deal with on a daily basis in the newsroom of the New York Times, did not know a single person who would vote for Trump, and they didn't get it.  They'd seen that they'd put these people in the corner.  They boxed them out.  They'd made them irrelevant.  They'd made them bad people, and when you're watching them say that and have that level of disdain for good hardworking people.  I say, this is why you have Trump, and this is why we will win again.  Because they have not yet learned from their lessons.



But again with that, I don't mean to speak in a somber fashion, but it is true, and this is the fight that we are in.  When you look at the results, it gives me actually great hope.  Okay?  When you have a president that can deliver all time low unemployment numbers for African Americans, for Hispanics, for women for veterans.  All time high start ups in businesses for the same people.  When you see a president who will enact prison reform, not because it's something that his party focused on.  It wasn't exactly a Republican talking point, but because it was the right thing to do.  It gives me great hope, and I hope that the real hardworking people of this country see what's going on.  Recognize the tactics of the other side because they've been overplayed so often.  That despite 96, as of last week, 96 percent negative media coverage, they get that this is a president who is fighting for them.  A president who didn't need this job.  A president whose turn it was not, but for the American people, it was his turn because they needed someone who could actually be a leader and not just a puppet, so I do hope you get a chance to read the book.  I think you'll get some interesting insight into the family.  Into what my father's been able to do into sort of how his mindset was shaped.  You get to hear about, at length, think of it as my Twitter feed in longform.  Okay?  We drop a lot of bombs, but I do it in much more than 140 characters or less, so we have some fun, but I think you guys will truly enjoy it.  Thank you so much for having me here today.  It's been an honor.  David, thank you for the work that you have been doing, calling out this garbage for decades.  It is time, and it's an honor to be in the fight with all of you.  Thank you very much, guys.

The head of Burisma Holdings, the energy company on which Hunter Biden served on the board, has been indicted by Ukraine’s Office of the Prosecutor General for money laundering and corruption, according to Ukrainian MP Alexander Dubinsky.
During a Wednesday press conference, Dubinsky claimed that an investigation into Nikolai Zlochevsky and Burisma found a “link that reveals how money is siphoned [from Ukraine],” notably through Hunter Biden, who received $16.5 million “through criminal means and money laundering.”
“The son of Vice-President Joe Biden was receiving payment for his services, with money raised through criminal means and money laundering,” Dubinsky said. “Biden received money that did not come from the company’s successful operation but rather from money stolen from citizens.”
According to Dubinsky, Zlochevsky helmed a money laundering operation which included politicians from the previous Yanukovich administration who continued their criminal enterprise under his successor President Pyotr Poroshenko.
“We will reveal the information about the financial pyramid scheme that was created in Ukraine and developed by everyone beginning with Yanukovich and later by Poroshenko,” Dubinsky continued.
“This system is still working under the guidance of the current managerial board of the National Bank, ensuring that money flows in the interest of people who stole millions of dollars, took it offshore and bought Ukrainian public bonds turning them into the Ukrainian sovereign debt.”
At the same press conference, Ukrainian MP Andriy Derkach claimed that the family of ex-President Yanukovich funneled $7.4 billion through American investment firm Franklin Templeton Investments, which they tied to the U.S. Democratic Party.
“Last week, November 14, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO), unnoticed by the media, announced a new suspicion to the notorious owner of Burisma, ex-Ecology Minister Zlochevsky,” said Derkach.
“According to the suspicion, the Yanukovych family is suspected, in particular, with legalizing (laundering) of criminally obtained income through Franklin Templeton Investments, an investment fund carrying out purchases of external government loan bonds totaling $7.4 billion.”
Derkach then demanded that President Trump must get involved in rooting out the corrupt Democrat-Ukraine network.
“President Zelensky must pick up the phone, dial Trump, ask for help and cooperation in the fight against corruption and fly to Washington,” Derkach demanded. “The issue of combating international corruption in Ukraine with the participation of citizens, businessmen and U.S. officials should become a key during the meeting of the two presidents.”
As we reported, Joe Biden openly admitted to extorting the Ukraine government if it didn’t squash an investigation into his son Hunter’s involvement with Burisma Holdings.
Looks like Trump asking President Zelensky to look into Biden-Burisma corruption wasn’t without merit after all.
Joe Biden has reason to panic. A retired CIA officer told the Washington Examiner, “From everything we know about the whistleblower and his work in the executive branch then, there is absolutely no doubt he would have been working with Biden when he was vice president.

Haniyeh also visited the bereavement tent for relatives of Bahaa Abu al-Atta, the PIJ commander assassinated by Israel in an airstrike in Gaza last week that set of a round of fighting that saw hundreds of rocket fired at Israel from Gaza.



Following IDF airstrikes in Gaza in response to Hamas firing two rockets at Beersheba over the weekend, in an apparent act of solidarity with PIJ, Haniyeh said: “This round of fighting is over, but the war is not. Also on Sunday, PIJ leader Khaled Al-Batsh warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to violate the ceasefire agreement between the sides.



“We caution against any attempt by Netanyahu to maneuver and ignore the ceasefire agreement mediated by Egypt,” he said.



Media outlets in Gaza, meanwhile, reported that during the recent fighting 500 homes were damaged in Israeli airstrikes and 30 were destroyed entirely, and that the direct impact of the strikes on Gaza’s economy amounted to some $3.1 million.



In Jerusalem, Netanyahu met with the families of fallen IDF soldiers Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul and Lt. Hadar Goldin – who were killed in Gaza in 2014 and whose remains are being held by Hamas. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a mainstream Islamic leader with a vision of a revived Ottoman Empire. His declaration that “Our God commands us to be violent to the kuffar” is in keeping with normative Islam, as pointed out in the article below. But violence against the kuffar continues to be ignored as an aberration of Islam, thus giving the enemies of the West an advantage in their jihad against the kuffar.



Erdogan says: “Our God commands us to be violent towards the kuffar (infidels). Who are we? The ummah [nation] of Mohammed. So [God] also commands us to be merciful to each other. So we will be merciful to each other. And we will be violent to the kuffar. Like in Syria.” That statement is based on this Qur’an verse: “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves.” (Qur’an 48:29)

On October 25, a leader of a NATO member nation openly incited violence against non-Muslims.



On that day, Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the Friday prayers at the Great Çamlıca Mosque in Istanbul. He was accompanied by Istanbul’s governor Ali Yerlikaya, mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Istanbul’s chief of police Mustafa Çalışkan and the head of the Istanbul branch of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Bayram Şenocak.



After the prayers, the hafiz of the mosque recited the Koranic Verse Al-Fath, which means “victory, triumph, conquest” in English. Then Erdogan took the microphone, reciting a part of the verse in Arabic and then in Turkish. He told the congregants:



“Our God commands us to be violent towards the kuffar (infidels). Who are we? The ummah [nation] of Mohammed. So [God] also commands us to be merciful to each other. So we will be merciful to each other. And we will be violent to the kuffar. Like in Syria.”



Erdogan then referred to another Koranic verse, As-Saff-13, in Arabic:

We see it is happening right now. With the permission of Allah, we will see it even more… I will meet some presidents of foreign countries at the Dolmabahce Palace today. I ask for your permission now to go there.”



The congregants then cheered Erdogan on, shouting “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is the greatest)….

The latest assault on Christians is happening in Speakers’ Corner in London’s Hyde Park. A Christian man has been told that he can no longer display his banner, which declares nothing more than “The blood of Jesus Christ.” Whether this ban on signage is a new law that will be applied to any and all posters being hung by every religious denomination, as well as the rest of the speakers who pontificate at the park, remains to be seen.



As a victim of homophobic abuse from a bunch of Muslim regulars at Speakers’ Corner, which I reported to the police at the time of occurrence, I was told that had the death threats against me happened just metres from where I was standing (outside the park), then the police could make arrests. Speakers’ Corner, as it happens, is outside the law of the UK, according to the Met police. Anything goes, they told me. Anything except a declaration of an allegiance to Jesus. Call for jihad in the name of Muhammad and it’s fine, but make calls for people to come together in Christ and that’s a step too far for the cops in Hyde Park.



This isn’t the first time we’re seeing double standards by the police in relation to Christian preachers here in the UK. Three men were arrested and charged in Bristol for the offence of reading from the Bible on a public street. Meanwhile, dawah stalls litter a large number of streets in London, from Dalston Junction to Woolwich, over to Kilburn and beyond. There is a permanent one set up in Leicester Square which blasts music (noise pollution) and hands out free Qurans and bad advice. These men never get tackled by police or shut down or asked to move along. They certainly don’t get arrested. Lee Rigby’s killers were free to walk around Greenwich park distributing extremist Islamic material with no complaints from the public, and no arrests made by the police. The three Christian men in Bristol, however, were mocked by the public, and the police were applauded and cheered when they made the arrests. It’s a scene that replicates the mocking of Jesus during his arrest, trial and punishment on his way to the cross.



The arresting of Christian preachers can be contrasted with the way the UK police interact with Muslim preachers on the streets. The police generally stand there, impotent, whilst taking a belly and an earful of verbal abuse from yet another angry Muslim screaming “Allahu akbar” at them. The police, in these instances, in a bid to save face in the eyes of the public, are shamed into making a reluctant arrest. And any arrest of a Muslim preacher is not made without the fear of violent reprisal towards the arresting officers. The cops know this, and so they pick on the easy religious targets such as truly peaceful Christians.



The banners that are normally on display in the very small section of Hyde Park that is known as Speakers’ Corner generally verge on the ridiculous. The Blood of Jesus Christ pales in comparison to the rest of the posters and banners which generally tell of the end of the world being nigh, advocate for socialism, claim that meat is murder, offer free psychic healing and hugs, as well as tell tales of extraterrestrial life forms sending radio signals to interfere with our brains. The most offensive sign that I’ve seen at Speakers’ Corner, and on the majority of dawah stalls, are those that tell me Jesus is a Muslim. No, Jesus is not a Muslim. As a Christian, I would not get away with putting up a poster stating that Muhammad was a Christian. I’d be met by a braying mob before being swiftly arrested. The Blood of Jesus is not an offensive statement; it is the very heart of Christianity. The Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation states that we drink it in the Communion wine, with Christ’s body being found and ingested in the wafer.



The Christ energy invigorates the Western world. You could be forgiven for thinking that He is the blueprint for liberalism and leftist ideals — love thy neighbour, welcome the other, communal eating with outcasts, giving of your own wealth to help those in need, and reserving judgement of others whilst here on earth, but His words and deeds are different from big government taking your money from you and redistributing it without your permission. All of that just for starters. The blood of Jesus is understood to be salvific to the Christian mind. It is healing and redemptive. Why is Jesus’ death becoming a dangerous thing to the UK police? It’s baffling to me why our authorities and the general public seem to be siding with Islam rather than Christianity. What has gone wrong with us as a people and a nation that the blood of Christ is becoming a dirty thing in the eyes and minds of the public?

National Security Council (NSC) member and Ukraine expert Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman admitted during his testimony before Congress that he made up elements of President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an official summary.



Prior to the call, Vindman provided the president with talking points about corruption, but President Trump ultimately did not use them.



Vindman’s written summary read, in part:



President Trump underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity — within its internationally recognized borders — and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption.



Yet during his testimony before the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Vindman acknowledged that he included the topic of rooting out corruption in his summary even though President Trump did not actually bring it up during the call.



Asked by a Democrat counsel whether his summary was false, Vindman replied, “That’s not entirely accurate, but I’m not sure I would describe it as false, it was consistent with U.S. policy.”



Vindman added that he saw the corruption rhetoric as a “messaging platform” to describe U.S. policy toward Ukraine.



The 44-year-old Army Colonel and NSC director for European affairs is considered a key witness in the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, which seeks to determine whether President Trump engaged in “bribery” by attempting to force Ukraine to investigate former Vice President and current 2020 presidential contender Joe Biden—an act Democrats claim is tantamount to asking a foreign nation to interfere in an American election.



During his testimony, Vindman, who was born in Ukraine and on three occasions was offered that country’s defense minister position, told members of Congress on Tuesday that he considered it “inappropriate” for President Trump to request that his Ukrainian counterpart “look into” Biden’s relationship with the natural gas company Burisma.



“It is improper for the President of the United States to demand a foreign government investigate a US citizen and political opponent,” Vindman said in his opening remarks. “It was also clear that if Ukraine pursued an investigation into the 2016 election, the Bidens and Burisma, it would be interpreted as a partisan play.”



Vindman said that due to his military experience, he interpreted the president’s request to the foreign leader as an order.



The culture I come from, the military culture, when a senior asks you to do something, even if it's polite and pleasant, it's not to be taken as a request, it's to be taken as an order. In this case, the power disparity between the two leaders, my impression is that in order to get the White House meeting, President Zelensky would have to deliver these investigations.



“Well, I have to tell you I think it's nonsense,” shot back Representative Chris Stewart (R-Utah). “Look, I was in the military, and I could distinguish between a favor and an order and a demand and so could my subordinates. And I think President Zelensky did as well.”



President Trump’s request to probe Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, involves the former vice president’s demand in 2016 that then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma, or else lose $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.



At the time, Hunter Biden was a Burisma board member making $50,000 a month. Joe Biden bragged about his role in Shokin’s firing in an event organized by the globalist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), of which he is a member.







Vindman refused to say whether Biden’s threat to Peroshenko was “wrong,” even though it amounts to the same thing Democrats accuse President Trump of doing (the difference is that Zelensky has publicly said he was not threatened or pressured by the American president).



Vindman previously told lawmakers during a closed-door testimony that he reported his concerns about the Trump-Zelensky phone call up the chain of command. During his public testimony on Tuesday, however, and upon the questioning of Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Vindman admitted that he never went to his superior, Tim Morrison.



Instead, he leaked the matter to numerous individuals, including NSC lawyer John Eisenberg and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George P. Kent.



“You don’t talk to your boss, but you talk to your brother, you talk to your lawyer, you talked to Secretary Kent and you talked to [the whistleblower] — is that right?” Jordan asked in his grilling of Vindman.

Caring well? Conference cites failures in the Southern Baptist Convention’s response to sexual abuse

Bible teacher Beth Moore said having too few women in power contributes to sexual abuse in the Southern Baptist Convention in a Thursday night keynote address at a national conference on caring well for victims.

Moore, founder of Living Proof Ministries, broached the question of whether “complementarian” theology – the idea that men are to lead in the church and home and wives to serve their husbands as helpmates – is to blame for the abuse crisis in the nation’s second-largest faith group behind Roman Catholics.



“Does complementarian theology cause abuse?” Moore asked before a sellout crowd at the Oct. 3-5 Caring Well Conference sponsored by the SBC Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission.



“The answer is no. Sin and gross selfishness in the human heart cause abuse,” Moore said. “Demonic influences cause abuse. However, has a culture prevalent in various circles of the SBC formed and burgeoned out of it contributed to it? Absolutely and heavily.”



Moore, who was criticized this summer for questioning whether the Bible teaches that only men are called to preach, said the world is watching to see if Southern Baptists will deal with “what they believe is the biggest elephant in the room.”



“Complementarian theology became such a high core value that it inadvertently … became elevated above the safety and well-being of many women,” she said. “So high a core value as it has become, that in much of our world complementarian theology is now conflated with inerrancy.”



Moore said there are so few women in places of visible leadership in SBC seminaries and churches that women who are being abused within the system often don’t know where to turn.



“Here’s the best way I know how to put it,” she said. “If complementarianism were a woman, I’d tell you that woman is being abused, and somebody needs to call the police and start an investigation. And God help us if the police are in on it. I guess now I will enter the witness protection program.”



Moore said if the SBC is to become a “healthier church culture,” it is imperative “that she be protected from abuse and from exploitation for the sake of owning all the power.”



“We must be willing to courageously face all that makes us vulnerable,” she said. “Misogyny has no place in those who are being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ.”



The ERLC, a convention agency assigned to moral and religious-liberty concerns, was in the process of planning a different theme for its 2019 annual conference at a resort hotel near Dallas but shifted gears after the Houston Chronicle and San Antonio Express-News published a series of investigative stories about widespread abuse and coverup in Southern Baptist churches and denominational structures.



Russell Moore, head of the ERLC, called abuse “a perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ” in an opening address to more than 1,600 church leaders registered at the conference and others watching online.



“There is nothing more Satanic than using the cover of Jesus to prey on vulnerable people,” Moore said.



Convention president J.D. Greear, who at this summer’s SBC annual meeting issued a clarion call to take seriously the denomination’s abuse crisis, said the problem didn’t begin with the publication of newspaper articles in February.



“Survivors and advocates have been calling our attention to this for years,” said Greear, pastor of The Summit Church in Durham, North Carolina, but in the past they were treated as “simply the latest leftist attack on the church.”



“Believing this myth has caused us as a convention to miscategorize the words of people like Christa Brown, Tiffany Thigpen and Mary DeMuth and Anne Marie Miller and Dave Pittman and Jules Woodson, Megan Lively and so many other victims, as attacks from adversaries instead of warnings from friends,” Greear said. “It is wrong to characterize someone as just bitter because they raise their voice when their important warnings were not heeded.”



Lively, who 15 years ago reported to officials at an SBC seminary that she was raped by a fellow student, said when she came forward “I was seen as a problem to be dealt with rather than a child of God who had been sinned against.”



“I was seen as someone threatening an institution rather than a sister in Christ,” she said. “I was viewed as someone there to tarnish the reputation of the church, instead of being seen as part of the body of the same church.”



Beth Moore described the mishandling of abuse allegations in Southern Baptist life “a very public stumbling block to the gospel.”



“This denomination is embroiled in a scandal where the name of God – of the Holy One who dwells in unapproachable light – has been used as a storefront for darkness,” Moore said. “What has happened among us broadcasts a message to the unsaved that we are unsafe.”



Jackie Hill Perry, a poet and hip-hop artist who was sexually abused as a child, said when she grew up and got married she had a hard time accepting her husband’s complementarian view.







“He wanted to lead me well, but complementarianism as it looks when lived was terrifying when I remembered the last time I let a boy lead me,” she said.

In what will be seen as a watershed moment in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) – the day that the liberals reclaimed that which they lost in the Conservative Resurgence – the crowd applauded wildly as Beth Moore attacked complementarianism in her sermon at a propagandic virtue-signaling conference hosted by the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC).











Shocking some in the crowd but embraced by most within it, Moore attacked complementarianism – the belief that men and women are equal but hold different roles in the home and church (like preaching, for example) – and attacked those who say egalitarians (those who believe men and women have the same roles in the church) don’t believe in the inerrancy of Scripture.



Southern Baptists, since the time of the Conservative Resurgence when its seminaries and entities kicked out leftists like Beth Moore, Russell Moore, and many who are now prominent SBC employees, the denomination has held strictly to the view of complementarianism. Their argument has traditionally been that egalitarians do deny the inerrancy of Scripture. The reason for that argument is well-deserved; no known denomination that that lets women preach believes in the inerrancy of the Bible.



In one fell swoop, Beth Moore broke the back of complementarianism in the SBC by preaching to Southern Baptist pastors, by invitation of the ERLC’s Russell Moore (the former Democratic staffer and leftist who runs the organization for the SBC), and straight-forwardly attacked complementarianism to thunderous applause.



Over the course of the last year, Moore has repeatedly attacked complementarianism, feeling emboldened in the #ChurchToo movement that, like the #MeToo movement, allowed liberals to capitalize on purported claims of victimhood to own their progressive agenda and silence their opposition.



Moore recently diminished the writings of St. Paul (which forbid women in places of spiritual authority), insinuating that they disagree with or contradict the teachings of Jesus, a common tactic for 30 years among those who deny the Bible’s inerrancy.



Moore has become a favorite of the gay community, after labeling Christians against homosexuality “hyper-fundamentalists” and secretly removing sections from past writing that condemn sodomy. This is after Moore attacked “doctrinal purity,” claiming that the pursuit was not in line with the spirit of Scripture. In subsequent days when pressed upon to condemn homosexuality as a sin, Beth Moore refused.



Moore spent the summer attacking the SBC’s stance on complementarianism, making fun of Southern Baptists and mocking conservatives by flaunting her Sunday morning preaching gigs at SBC churches. This caused SBC leaders like Danny Akin to bristle, who called her ‘stupid’ on hidden audio, but who have all refused to condemn the liberal female preacher publicly. She repeatedly attacked a fellow and former director of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and positioned herself against the organization, which has been seen as the gold standard of understanding male-female relationship since its inception.



Support for Moore hasn’t waned since SBC leaders floated the idea of making her next SBC president back in the summer of 2018, in spite of the last year of back-tracking on homosexuality, attacking complementarianism, and giving people every reason to believe she personally denies Scriptural inerrancy.



The ERLC is hosting a “virtue signaling conference” capitalizing on the wave of victimhood identity, disguised as a conference to help victims of sexual abuse. Almost entirely abandoning issues like abortion and gay marriage, the ERLC has focused on an applause-garnering agenda on non-controversial issues like victimhood and oppression. Speaking at the Caring Well Conference are perhaps the greatest single accumulation of leftists and liberals in one place since before the Conservative Resurgence began.



Hiding behind the politically correct wall of victims as a barricade against criticism, the Caring Well conference line-up is like a Who’s Who of the most moderate Southern Baptists inside (and outside) the Convention. Other speakers include Rachel Denhollander, whose husband, Jacob, has capitalized gratuitously on her victimhood, standing upon her back as though it were a soapbox, and turning himself into a celebrity in order to promote a feminist, liberal Social Justice agenda. Also included is the (non-practicing) lesbian, Jackie Hill Perry, who endorsed the Word-Faith Movement only a month ago and who claims that the church has “abused” homosexuals by being straightforward with them about their sin.



While the live stream is over and the sermon is not yet up on the ERLC website, Pulpit & Pen received notes from those in attendance at the event.



In what was described as a “full-throttle attack on complementarianism,” Moore asserted to the crowd that the complementarianism did not exclude women in spiritual leadership. Furthermore, Moore claimed that complementarianism – somehow, in an ill-defined way – leads to abuse in the church. And finally, Moore defended egalitarians, claiming that they uphold the inerrancy of Scripture.

Sadly, liberals in the SBC, like Jacob Denhollander, have found that using and further abusing victims to push their political agenda makes them impervious to criticism. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) no longer upholds the antisemitism preached by its denominational founder in the 16th century, Martin Luther. It does, however, use another variant of modern antisemitism – anti-Israelism. 

In August of this year, the ELCA passed a resolution that called on the U.S. government to subsidize the Palestinian Authority (PA), while the latter is using these funds to pay the salaries of Palestinian murderers of Israelis and convicted terrorists serving time in Israeli prisons. Another ELCA resolution passed at its August convention, urging the U.S. Congress to “ensure that U.S. taxpayers funds not support military detention, interrogations, and ill-treatment of Palestinian children. That these “so-called children” are old enough to yield knifes and shoot guns that murder Israeli women and children as well as adults, does not interest the ELCA. Moreover, the funding the PA incentivizes murders of Israelis. A 17-year-old Israeli girl, Rina Shnerb, was recently murdered by Palestinian youngsters while hiking with her father and brother. If her killers are caught and sent to prison, they will receive a salary for their crimes.



The ELCA seeks to amend the anti-terrorism Certification Act of 2018, in order to remove the legislative barriers that would enable the ELCA to provide humanitarian aid to the PA. One such project is the Lutheran-owned Augusta Victoria hospital in East Jerusalem, which only treats Palestinians. The PA diverts funds it receives from the international community (including the U.S.) to pay the salaries of terrorist murderers and their families instead of paying the accumulated bills it owes to the hospital. PA officials build themselves luxurious mansions with donated funds. In essence, what the ELCA wants is for the American taxpayer to pay and for the PA officials to continue their corruption and stealing.



On November 21, 2018, the ELCA Presiding Bishop issued the following statement, which ignored the history of Arab-Palestinian terror and violence and criticized the Trump administrations pro-Israel stance on Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The statement read, “Since President Trump took office in 2017, U.S. support for Israel over concerns of Palestinians has become explicit instead of implied.” The statement continued…” U.S. position on key issues like Israeli settlements, the status of Jerusalem, and Palestinian refugees have shifted significantly."   



The previous U.S. administration allowed the United Nations (UN) to resolve in December 2016, that the Western Wall, the most sacred Jewish site (a remnant of the Temple) was an Arab-Palestinian territory. Funding the corrupt United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an agency that spawns Palestinian terrorists, is morally wrong. UNRWA has inflated the number of refugees rather than facilitate the settling of Palestinian refugees with adequate housing after decades of neglect, only to keep them on the dole, dependent on charity. UNWRA officials care more about perpetuating their jobs rather than settling the refugees (as Israel did with Jewish refugees expelled from Arab countries) and securing jobs for them.



Ynet headlined on July 29, 2019, with “UNRWA Report: Corruption and Abuse of Power at the Highest Levels.” The article quoted the following from AFP. “AFP has obtained a copy of the report, which describes "credible and corroborated" accusations of serious ethical abuse involving senior officials of the institution, including Commissioner-General Pierre Krähenbühl. The alleged charges include "inappropriate sexual acts, nepotism, reprisals, discrimination and other abuses of authority (committed) for personal gain, to suppress legitimate differences of opinion." The report was sent to UN Secretary-General António Guterres in December and UN investigators visited UNRWA offices in Jerusalem and Amman to gather information regarding the allegations, according to sources”



The entire tune of the Bishop’s statements appears hostile to the Jewish state, and takes on the role of  advocate for the Palestinians, regardless of facts on the ground, and ignoring Palestinian terror, antisemitism, the teaching of hatred against Jews and Israel in Palestinian schools, mosques, and the PA media, not to mention Hamas’ unequivocal rejection of peace with Israel. The Bishop’s statements chided President Trump for “giving no indication that the administration remains committed to the international promise and policy that Jerusalem should be a shared city.” Jerusalem is a shared city where Arab-Palestinians have the same rights as the Israelis.



The Bishop’s statement continues: “In early October (2018), the administration decided to close the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem that had served as diplomatic point of engagement for the Palestinians. The move included demoting the U.S. Consul General.  Instead of being responsible for Palestinian matters and answering directly to the Secretary of State, the Consul General in Jerusalem will now answer to the U.S. ambassador to Israel.” What disturbed the presiding Lutheran bishop and his mainline Protestant colleagues is that the U.S. Ambassador to Israel is Jewish, and proudly pro-Israeli.



The statement goes on to say, “The State of Israel remains the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid, receiving approximately $3.8 billion in military aid each year. This funding helps the government of Israel maintain the occupation of the Palestinian territories, making the U.S. complicit in Israel’s detention of Palestinian children in military prisons, violent repression of peaceful protestors, and demolitions of Palestinian homes and communities.” Judea and Samaria are no “Palestinian territories.” There has never been a Palestinian state, nor has there been a resolution to these territories due to the Palestinian rejection of negotiations and peace with Israel. The Palestinian “protesters” are not peaceful, they are violent and led by terrorists. 



The mainline Protestant leaders continue, “The administration is also taking actions to deny the freedom of speech to those who criticize the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians. The Department of Education has adjusted its definition of anti-Semitism to include anti-Zionism, and criticism of the state of Israel. Any person or group speaking at educational institutions who states their support for anti-Zionism, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement or is otherwise critical of Israel’s policies is potentially at risk for investigation and sanction by the Department of Education.”



The BDS movement has been deemed to be antisemitic by the U.S. government and a number of European states including Germany. Singling out the Jewish state for delegitimization, demonization, and double-standards constitutes antisemitism. Lutheran church organizations and NGO’s in North America and Europe donate large sums of money to radical anti-Israel Palestinian groups. The Lutheran Church is a member of the World Council of Churches. As such, it supports the anti-Israel BDS campaigns and condemns pro-Israel Christian Zionists.   



The Lutheran Church has a long and sordid legacy of antisemitism. The ELCA alleged efforts to break away from Martin Luther’s genocidal Jew-hatred appears insincere, when blindly supporting genocidal Palestinian Islamists, who seek the destruction of Israel, and refuse any offer of compromise. 



Palestinians have had ample opportunities to create their own sovereign state and provide their people with a future - the Peel Commission in 1937, the UN Partition plan of 1947, the Oslo Accords in 1993, the Camp David Summit in 2000, and the Olmert generous offer in 2008, for a Palestinian state. All were rejected by the Palestinians. For the Palestinians it has always been a zero-sum strategy.   



Israel should be admired, not condemned by ELCA. Israel is only democratic state in the region where human rights, free speech, and religious freedoms are upheld despite an environment of terror and violence perpetrated against it by the Palestinians. By its blatant anti-Israel resolution, and campaigns, the ELCA does not help the cause of peace between Israelis and Palestinians. In fact, the ELCA perpetuates antisemitism under the guise of anti-Israelism.

In a bombshell announcement on Monday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo heralded a new White House stance on the extremely divisive issue of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. Pompeo said that the United States will no longer view those settlements as “inconsistent with international law.”



“After carefully studying all sides of the legal debate … the establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not, per se, inconsistent with international law,” Pompeo said, citing President Ronald Reagan’s view that the settlements were not “inherently illegal.”



The move is not only a reversal of Obama era policies, but would seem to signal an end to U.S. adherence to a 1978 Carter-era State Department legal opinion that such settlements violated international law. Known as the Hansell Memorandum, the opinion stated that creating settlements in the West Bank is “inconsistent with international law” and also a violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention.



“Calling the establishment of civilian settlements inconsistent with international law has not advanced the cause of peace,” Pompeo said. “The hard truth is there will never be a judicial resolution to the conflict, and arguments about who is right and who is wrong as a matter of international law will not bring peace.”



Since that 1978 opinion, no U.S. president has referred to the settlements as “illegal,” although some have labeled them an “obstacle to peace” or “illegitimate.” While the Trump administration didn’t go so far as to call the settlements “legal,” the announcement is a definite move in favor of Israel’s position on the settlements, at least as far as the United States is concerned.



Palestinians were understandably upset with the new U.S. view on those settlements. Saeb Erekat, the general secretary of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which negotiates on behalf of the Palestinians, attacked the Trump administration after Pompeo’s announcement.



“Once again, with this announcement, the Trump administration is demonstrating the extent to which it’s threatening the international system with its unceasing attempts to replace international law with the ‘law of the jungle,” Erekat said. “Henceforth, the international community must take all necessary measures to respond and deter this irresponsible U.S. behavior, which poses a threat to global stability, security and peace.”



The European Union was also quick to criticize the Trump administration’s new policy, quickly releasing a statement stating that their “position on Israeli policy in the occupied Palestinian territory is clear and remains unchanged: all settlement activity is illegal under international law and it erodes the viability of the two-state solution and the prospects for a lasting peace.” The EU also pressed “Israel to end all settlement activity, in line with its obligations as an occupying power.”



The United Nations itself has also weighed in, flatly rejecting the new policy of the United States. “We continue to follow the long-standing position of the U.N. that Israeli settlements are in breech of international law,” said UN human rights spokesman Rupert Colville.



“A change in the policy position of one state does not modify existing international law nor its interpretation by the International Court of Justice and the Security Council.”



So, we can expect a pro-forma United Nations condemnation soon.



On the other hand, embattled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the new policy: “Today, the United States adopted an important policy that rights a historical wrong when the Trump administration clearly rejected the false claim that Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria are inherently illegal under international law.”



Netanyahu further welcomed Pompeo’s assertion that the settlement issue belongs in the hands of Israeli courts — not in the hands of the globalists at the UN: “Israel’s legal system, which has proven itself fully capable of addressing legal questions relating to the settlements, is the appropriate place for these matters to be adjudicated — not biased international forums that pay no attention to history or facts.”



This announcement is only the latest in a series of pro-Israel measures taken during the Trump administration. In December of 2017, Trump announced that the United States was formally recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the country, despite the United Nations considering the action “null and void” shortly after the initial announcement. President Trump chose not to listen to the UN in that case, and in May of 2018, the U.S. embassy officially opened in Jerusalem.



Then, in March of this year, Trump officially recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the disputed Golan Heights, which Israel seized during the Six Day War in 1967 when Israel was attacked by the combined forces of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. Israel responded by naming one of the towns in the area Trump Heights in appreciation.

David Horowitz has always been a writer whose work I've appreciated since his compelling political biography, Radical Son, which related the author's break from his communist upbringing after Black Panther associates murdered his bookkeeper friend Betty Van Patter.  But brevity and crisp linkage of multiple intellectual threads were never characteristic of Horowitz's brilliant, often voluminous, exposés of leftist thought and practice.  By contrast, Dark Agenda is a concise, chilling book brimming with evidence that links numerous cultural depredations to one overriding theme:  The left's attack on Christian America's founding in the name of "cultural Marxism." 



"Christian America" is the novel component in Horowitz's analysis, a term that acknowledges the historical fact that America, at its founding, was 98 percent Protestant.  Protestantism, in turn, was intimately linked to the doctrine of "the priesthood of all believers" and to the more broadly Christian idea that all people are created by God.  In view of these beliefs and the fact that Protestant groups were living side by side, it followed that in America there would be no institutional or governmental mediator between the individual and God.  It also meant that each individual's rights were endowed solely by their Creator and that freedom of conscience and speech would be hallmarks of the new republic. 



"Cultural Marxism," by contrast, represents the application of its "oppressor versus oppressed" vision of society to various victim groups:  blacks, "people of color," women, native Americans, homosexuals, transsexuals, and any other group claiming victimhood.  For Marxists what stands between these oppressed groups and a world in which "social justice" and equality is fully realized are the oppressors, those who supposedly establish the laws and mores that keep them in power.  Thus, failure or success isn't the result of individual choices but the inevitable outcome of a system designed to unfairly help one group (white, Christian, males) and harm the others.  Accordingly, what matters politically is destroying the patriarchal Christian system itself with its emphasis on individual moral and economic choices and replacing it with a group-focused system that, in my own words, oppresses the oppressors.  Put quite simply, "Christian doctrines were foundational to the American Republic, which the left despises."



After reading the last two paragraphs, one might think Dark Agenda is highly philosophical and abstract.  This impression couldn't be further from the truth, as these core ideas are given clear expression and development via an array of examples, many of which are doubtless unknown to even the most politically-astute readers.  Who knew, for example, that the $621 million U.S. Capitol Visitor Center that opened in 2008 "is less a monument to the nation's founding and institutions than it is to the antireligious left's vision for America.  When it opened, all references to God and faith had been carefully, deliberately edited out of its photos and historical displays."  For example, the national motto was said to be "E Pluribus Unum" when, in fact, it is "In God We Trust."  Among other historical travesties, a large "image of the Constitution was photoshopped to remove the worlds 'in the Year of our Lord' above the signatures of the signers." Similarly, the "table on which President Lincoln placed his Bible during his second inauguration is on display — just the table, not the Bible."



These examples are picayune compared to the spiteful governmental coercion that's been employed to force The Little Sisters of the Poor, among others, to violate their consciences thanks to Obamacare abortion provisions.  The Supreme Court has been the giant secular lever employed by leftists to fundamentally transform "Christian America" into a state hostile even to a school-girl who joined hands with classmates to give thanks for her food. These politically-motivated  "lawyers," as Horowitz contemptuously labels the high court, began their anti-Christian, anti-Constitutional mission with the expulsion of prayer from public schools in 1962 (Engel v. Vitale).  That assault on the free exercise of religion now extends beyond commencement ceremonies and football fields to a bakery that was  embroiled in legal battles for years for refusing to provide a celebratory cake for a gay ceremony billed as a wedding — a "crime" made possible by Court rulings against the Defense of Marriage Act and in favor of redefining marriage.  



The case of Roe v. Wade (1972), which awakened religious conservatives to the fundamental attack on Christian America, is cogently dissected in Dark Agenda, both from a constitutional perspective as well as through the eyes of Norma McCorvey, the anonymous "Jane Roe" who was intentionally deceived and reduced to a legal prop to secure the Supreme Court's "right to privacy" abortion ruling.  (As Horowitz notes, in Marxist thought it's the grand arc of history and oppressed groups that matter, not mere individuals.)  That ruling officially brought about the cultural civil war that for the anti-Christian left involves not simply a virulent hatred of President Trump but also hatred directed toward his supporters who are regularly vilified as Nazis, sexists, racists, homophobes, and "deplorables" who are rightly denied freedom of speech and conscience.  Trump's Oval Office predecessor did his best to stoke these emotions as Horowitz's litany of anti-Christian comments and actions by President Obama illustrate — from avoiding religious references during a traditional Thanksgiving ceremony to pursuit of a foreign policy that led to the annihilation of the ancient Christian community in Syria.



Among the sidebars accompanying Horowitz's central narrative are insights into the abusive and mendacious character of atheist Madelyn Murray.  For example, in 1960 Murray "set out with her two sons . . . intending to renounce her American citizenship and defect to the Soviet Union." Her repeated attempts at emigration were rebuffed by the Soviets who were probably aware of her emotional instability and violent outbursts.  Murray's revolutionary predecessor, Margaret Sanger, was also a communist sympathizer and racist.  A 1930 article in The New Yorker about Ms. Sanger noted that her monthly newspaper, Woman Rebel, "mixed its birth-control propaganda with a good deal of red-flag-waving, and perorations of the 'Workers of the World, Arise!' variety." The author also observed that she "composed an editorial declaring: 'Even if dynamite were to serve no other purpose than to call forth the spirit of revolutionary solidarity and loyalty, it would prove its great value.'"  



Horowitz ends Dark Agenda with this chilling paragraph reminiscent of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address: "A nation divided by such fundamental ideas — individual freedom on one side and group identity on the other — cannot long endure, any more than could a nation that was half slave and half free.  The urgency that drew the religious right into politics fifty years ago is now an urgency of the nation itself."  Even individuals well aware of the cultural Civil War that now rages in America would do well do arm themselves with the insights in this book — insights that both explain the ideological  roots of the conflict and document a host of grievous wounds that "Christian America" has already suffered.  Horowitz, an honest agnostic, is doing his best to prevent those wounds from becoming mortal.

November 18, 2019 (Live Action News) — Human rights abuses surrounding China's oppressive population control policies are already well known. Parents who have more than the allotted number of children are subjected to any number of penalties, ranging from something as small as a fine to something as awful as a forced abortion. But what's slowly coming to light is the growing number of so-called "re-education camps" in China, in which over 1.5 million people are allegedly being held. Their crimes are things like having the wrong ethnicity, political views, or religion, and they are forced to undergo horrors. A recent tribunal uncovered the despicable practice of forced organ harvesting from prisoners — while they are still alive. Human Rights Watch also alleges that the government is engaging in mass imprisonment, torture, mass surveillance systems, forced house arrest, sexual harassment, and more. Now, a survivor of these terrors has come forward to share her story, and expose the atrocities being committed.



Haaretz reported from Stockholm of what has been learned about what goes on inside China's re-education camps: prisoners with their heads shaved are forced to live in one small room together, sharing a bucket for a toilet, with cameras watching them at all times. They are subjected to propaganda, forced to confess "sins," and undergo torture such as metal nails, fingernails pulled out, and electric shocks in the so-called "black room." The prisoners are also forced to undergo medical experimentation, with many left infertile, and women are reportedly raped and forced into abortions.











Sayragul Sauytbay, a former teacher who escaped China and is living in Sweden, where she has been granted asylum, testified to all of these horrors. Sauytbay, who is Muslim, was separated from her husband and children when they were able to escape to nearby Kazakhstan, while she couldn't get an exit visa. Meanwhile, she lived in fear of the growing secret arrests taking place at night — and her fear was ultimately justified. "In January 2017, they started to take people who had relatives abroad," Sauytbay told Haaretz. "They came to my house at night, put a black sack on my head and brought me to a place that looked like a jail. I was interrogated by police officers, who wanted to know where my husband and children were, and why they had gone to Kazakhstan. At the end of the interrogation I was ordered to tell my husband to come home, and I was forbidden to talk about the interrogation."



After that, she refused to contact her family for fear of what would happen to them, but authorities continued to interrogate her. But the worst happened soon after: in November of 2017, she was told to report to a meeting place with authorities, where a black bag was placed over her head, and she was taken to a re-education camp and forced to sign a contract. "I was very much afraid to sign," she admitted. "It said there that if I did not fulfill my task, or if I did not obey the rules, I would get the death penalty."



Sauytbay explained that everyone's heads were shaved, and they were shackled at all times unless they were writing, even in their sleep. Sauytbay was forced to teach Chinese propaganda songs before confession times arrived. They would be required to think of sins to confess to, and if they didn't, they would be punished. This would then repeat until midnight, as they stood facing a wall with their hands raised.



For food, prisoners were given nothing but watery soup and a slice of bread, and were only given meat on Friday — but this, too, was another cruel form of torture, with prisoners given only pork, even if their religion required them to abstain.



On top of all of this, prisoners were taken to what they called the "black room" for torture. "Some prisoners were hung on the wall and beaten with electrified truncheons," Sauytbay said. "There were prisoners who were made to sit on a chair of nails. I saw people return from that room covered in blood. Some came back without fingernails." Others had their skin flayed, or were beaten for minor offenses. Sauytbay said she was deprived of food and beaten for two days after an inmate gave her a hug, which she did not reciprocate.



Sauytbay believes people were intentionally being made sterile and sick through the pills given to them as well. "The pills had different kinds of effects," she said. "Some prisoners were cognitively weakened. Women stopped getting their period and men became sterile." Those who had health conditions were not treated for them. But worst of all was what happened to women in the camps.











"On an everyday basis the policemen took the pretty girls with them, and they didn't come back to the rooms all night," Sauytbay said. "The police had unlimited power. They could take whoever they wanted. There were also cases of gang rape. In one of the classes I taught, one of those victims entered half an hour after the start of the lesson. The police ordered her to sit down, but she just couldn't do it, so they took her to the black room for punishment."



She said one of the worst examples was when a woman was made to confess her sins in front of 200 other prisoners. "When she was done speaking, the policemen ordered her to disrobe and simply raped her one after the other, in front of everyone. While they were raping her they checked to see how we were reacting," she recalled. "People who turned their head or closed their eyes, and those who looked angry or shocked, were taken away and we never saw them again. It was awful. I will never forget the feeling of helplessness, of not being able to help her. After that happened, it was hard for me to sleep at night."



Sauytbay's horrific testimony has been corroborated by other rare survivors. These women spoke also of ongoing rape, of being forced to have contraceptive devices implanted against their will, sexual torture, and forced abortion. Gulzira Mogdyn, who is both a Kazakh and Chinese citizen, said she was forced to abort her fourth child, saying they cut her baby out without even using anesthesia. "Two humans were lost in this tragedy — my baby and me," she said, according to the Washington Post.



Human rights advocate Aiman Umarova said that this is a pattern. "Sexually violating women, including stopping them from reproducing, has become a weapon for China against its Muslim population," she told the Washington Post. Two men who escaped, both Uighurs, also told the Washington Post that their wives remain in the camps in China, and were forced to undergo abortions. Another Uighur woman, Ruqiye Perhat, said she was repeatedly raped by her Chinese guards; when she became pregnant, she was forced into abortions.



Sauytbay was eventually released, but then was told she would be returning to the camp — and she vowed she would rather die. She eventually received asylum from Sweden, and is bravely speaking out in a plea to help the prisoners left behind. "They are innocent. I have to tell their story, to tell about the darkness they are in, about their suffering," she pleaded. "The world must find a solution so that my people can live in peace. The democratic governments must do all they can to make China stop doing what it is doing in Xinjiang."

Gay rights organization GLAAD is demanding Chick-Fil-A further bend the knee after the fast-food restaurant announced it would sever ties with charities deemed anti-LGBT.



In a statement released Monday, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation called on Chick-Fil-A to take further steps to show it’s serious about cutting ties with what they call “divisive anti-LGBTQ activists.":



"If Chick-Fil-A is serious about their pledge to stop holding hands with divisive anti-LGBTQ activists, then further transparency is needed regarding their deep ties to organizations like Focus on the Family, which exist purely to harm LGBTQ people and families.







Chick-Fil-A investors, employees, and customers can greet today’s announcement with cautious optimism, but should remember that similar press statements were previously proven to be empty.



In addition to refraining from financially supporting anti-LGBTQ organizations, Chick-Fil-A still lacks policies to ensure safe workplaces for LGBTQ employees and should unequivocally speak out against the anti-LGBTQ reputation that their brand represents."



One of the charities Chick-Fil-A chose to stop donating to, The Salvation Army, released a statement Tuesday expressing its dismay and claiming the split was due to misinformation being spread without fact.








“We’re saddened to learn that a corporate partner has felt it necessary to divert funding to other hunger, education and homelessness organizations — areas in which The Salvation Army, as the largest social services provider in the world, is already fully committed,” reads a statement from The Salvation Army.



Far from being “anti-LGBTQ,” the Salvation Army claims it serves “more than 23 million individuals a year, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.”



“In fact, we believe we are the largest provider of poverty relief to the LGBTQ+ population,” the Salvation Army wrote, adding they believe a disinformation campaign was to blame.



“When misinformation is perpetuated without fact, or ability to serve those in need, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or any other factor is at risk. We urge the public to seek the truth before rushing to ill-informed judgment and greatly appreciate those partners and donors who ensure that anyone who needs our help feels safe and comfortable to come through our doors.”



Chick-Fil-A also halted donations to The Fellowship of Christian Athletes over its support of heterosexual marriage.

*Update June 2016—In 2012 the Salvation Army paid it's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) $259,720!!! I have a serious problem with that! Over 44 officers received 6-digit salaries over $100,000 a year! Charities are supposed to be benevolent organizations, helping the public, not paying themselves 5-10 times what the average American earns per year. Over half of American citizens in 2016 are earning less than $30,000 per year! So why should a so-called “charity,” especially a professed Christian charity, pay those kind of extravagant salaries. Few people know that the Salvation Army also owns luxurious vacation properties in Hawaii for their executives to enjoy. I don't care how much money (billions!!!) they take in per year, it is wrong for ministers (which means “servant”) to pay themselves exuberant salaries. To put it into better perspective, the CEO of the Salvation Army in 2012 was paid $21,643 a month!!!

The Salvation Army is outwardly and purposefully disobedient to Jesus Christ. Many people are unaware that the Salvation Army is not a secular charity (such as the United Way or Goodwill Industries) but an institutional church which claims to be part of the body of Christ. Not only does it offer charity to the poor but it offers membership in the body of Christ to whomever would profess faith and agree to live by its “soldier’s covenant“. The Salvation Army does not, however, offer the professing Christians who join its ranks the opportunity to identify with Christ in baptism or remember the sacrifice of Christ through the Lord’s supper. The Salvation Army has issued the following statement in its handbook, which it defends on its website:




“Early in our history, The Salvation Army was led of God not to observe specific sacraments, that is baptism and the Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion, as prescribed rituals.”

The Salvation Army, in direct disobedience of the Lord Jesus Christ, leads its converts and members away from experiencing the fullness of Christian life. Bible-believing Christians should not stand in partnership with any “church” who so blatantly disregards the instruction of the Lord.

SALVATION ARMY; CHURCH OF THE RED KETTLE: WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT IT (PART ONE & TWO):

The Army & The LGBTQ Issue:



In 2012, during an interview on an Australian radio broadcast, an officer (who is, don’t forget, an ordained minister) responded to a question which left the clear impression to many that the Army believes that “gays should be put to death.”




(Just for grins, compare that to this leading Southern Baptist pastor who suggested not that gays should be put to death, but that those opposed – on Biblical grounds – to his church’s gospel-void, affirming embrace of homosexuals should be put to death.)




Nevertheless, the Army officer’s comments created a whirlwind of outrage. The Army was quick to offer a clarifying apology stating that “The Salvationist Handbook of Doctrine does not state that practicing homosexuals should be put to death and, in fact, urges all Salvationists to act with acceptance, love, and respect to all people.”




(Aussie salvo apologies are nothing new, apparently. The Salvation Army, again in Australia, issued an apology in 2006 related to 500+ claims of child abuse occurring over numerous decades in its Children’s Homes throughout the continent. Though no longer on its website, the archived webpage of the Army’s “response to child abuse allegations” may be found HERE.)




But the effective headline of “Salvation Army Thinks Gays Should Die” did, itself, not die with the apologetic response. The photo-shopped graphic shown above has been extensively shared across social media.  Now, nearly five years later, the Army website continues to feature an “About Us” link which directs to “The Salvation Army and The LGBT Community” page. The pithy comments distinguish the Army’s discrimination-free position among “The People We Serve,” “The People We Hire,” and “The People Who Support Us.” All three groups find embrace of and acceptance by the LGBT community.




The Army’s comment about “The People We Hire” is – for a “church” with the self-touted mission to proclaim the gospel – particularly curious. “The Salvation Army embraces employees of many different faiths and orientations. Our hiring practices are open to all, and we adhere to all relevant employment laws, providing domestic partner benefits accordingly.”




This “church” hires people of “many different faiths?” Hmm. And it also “provides domestic partner benefits?”   If you’re in a Scripture-obedient church, you probably won’t be able to find these practices repeated at home (or touted as Biblically valid, either.)




The Army’s aggressive response to appear “pro-gay” is perhaps best seen in Australia where the contentious issue of an anti-bullying program for schools is being hotly debated. Called the Safe Schools Program, it is less an anti-bully initiative than it is an effort to indoctrinate Australian children into LGBTQ acceptance. The website for the effort, SafeSchoolsCoalition.org, features the tagline, “A Public-Private Partnership In Support of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Queer and Questioning Youth.” In complete support of this initiative, which offers such curricula resources for youngsters as “Growing Up Queer” and “OMG I’m Queer,” is none other than the Salvation Army. The Army & Abortion:




To many, no doubt, the Salvation Army has a seemingly morally palatable statement regarding abortion. It uses such favorable phrases as “all people are created in the image of God,” “human life is sacred,” “responsibility to care for others … including unborn children,” and “life is a gift from God … we are answerable to God for the taking of life.”




But, reading further, the Army’s statement makes clear that, in certain cases, it is pro-abortion, a position that may sit well within liberal churches, but certainly not within Bible-believing ones.

While some Independent Baptist churches are joining the Southern Baptist Convention (e.g., High Street Baptist of Springfield, Missouri, in 2017), claiming the SBC is “conservative” and “has won the battle against liberalism,” some better-informed churches are leaving.

In this report, we are simply pointing out what is happening. As far as we are concerned, every Bible-believing church should have left the Southern Baptist Convention 100 years ago (even putting aside for the moment the issue that a denominational structure is unscriptural in itself). 

We would also hasten to say that while we commend the following churches for having enough spiritual conviction to leave the Convention, and that does take a lot of backbone, we can’t recommend them, and there are many fundamental reasons. Just the fact that they have not rejected contemporary worship music would be sufficient. Contemporary worship music is mixing the holy God with the unholy world and is a bridge to everything that these churches say they are separating from (and more) by leaving the SBC. Nothing is more effectively building the “one-world church” than CCM. The fact that these churches are not tearing down the bridge of contemporary music means they are still on the path to apostasy, regardless of their present boldness. There is no doubt about this. Any church that is not properly educated in this matter and boldly standing against CCM is building bridges to the world and to the one-world church. We have documented this extensively in The Directory of Contemporary Worship Music, The Transformational Power of Contemporary Worship Music (a video presentation), and in the new video series The Satanic Attack on Sacred Music which is in the process of being edited for publication, hopefully by the end of the year. We would exhort these churches to make this bold step of leaving the SBC to be a beginning of a thorough-going spiritual revival whereby they will reject sin and error and worldliness and compromise in every form. 
Pulpit & Pen, Sept. 30, 2019, says there are “hundreds [of churches] that we are aware of who have left the SBC and/or stopped funding it over issues relating to corruption, the ERLC (Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission), Lifeway, charismaticism, or Social Justice.”
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF VICTORIA, MISSOURI
This church left the Southern Baptist Convention in September 2019.

The following is a statement signed by Pastor Bruce Tegg, joined by the chairman of the deacons and two other deacons:

“I have been a Southern Baptist since my preschool days. I was baptized, married and ordained (both as a deacon and a pastor) as a Southern Baptist. I was a Southern Baptist when the Convention first addressed women deacons, when the seminaries taught heresy, when we were battling the charismatic movement, when the Freemasons were investigated and now with the invasion of Calvinism. In each controversy the resolution was not to remove the cancer of error, the solution was assimilation. Rather than remove the theological Tobiahs the SBC, as Israel in Nehemiah, gave them residence in the Temple. The SBC now accepts women deacons, speaking in ecstatic utterance, Freemason pastors and deacons, Presbyterian seminary graduates, and heretical instructors in their colleges, universities and seminaries. Over the past few years the corruption has multiplied exponentially … The Tobiahs, Achans, and the Balaams now control every aspect of Southern Baptist life. … These issues stand out as significant, but they are in no way the complete list of theological problems in the SBC. We could also speak of Beth Moore and her support of Joyce Meyer … the recent statement of current SBC President JD Greear about being an advocate for homosexual causes, and many other unresolved issues. Essentially, the SBC, MBC, and JBA have gone the way of Balaam, seeking monetary gain over holiness and righteousness. … When this corruption occurs, the Scripture is clear, we must make our decision based on His commandments and not any partiality toward friendships or finances. 

“Ephesians 5:11 ‘And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.’

“2 Thessalonians 3:6 ‘Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.’

“Based on these and many other commandments found in both the Old and New Testaments, the First Baptist Church of Victoria is formally and publicly resigning from affiliation with all entities of the SBC, MBC, and JBA effective immediately.”
SOUTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH, GALLATIN, TENNESSEE
This church left the SBC in August 2019.

The following is the church’s statement:

“The present tragic reality is that the Southern Baptist Convention now has key leaders in places of high authority and influence who are directing Southern Baptists away from clear Biblical truth.

“Beth Moore now insists that by calling homosexuality a sin, that she is making people feel ‘demonized,’ and ‘doing more harm than good.’ ... Beth Moore is only one person … however no one in SBC leadership is correcting her or calling her to repent, and her influence is affecting millions.

“Sam Allberry is a gay priest in the Anglican Church who speaks at and is promoted by the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) of the Southern Baptist Convention. Allberry suggested that families should allow open homosexuals to ‘babysit’ your children unsupervised. Allberry is a man who identifies as ‘same-sex attracted,’ and has confirmed that he has ‘sexual, romantic and deep-emotional attractions to people of the same sex.’ Russell Moore, head of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) tweeted, ‘Sam Allberry is a gift to the church. We need his voice.’

“Recently, J.D. Greear, the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, preached a sermon—from Romans 1, mind you—where he insisted that the Bible doesn’t really have all that much to say about sexual immorality, and is much more vocal about other sins such as materialism and boasting.

“At the 2018 SBC annual Convention … Dr. Robert Oscar Lopez, a professor at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary … submitted a powerful resolution on LGBT issues titled On Ministry and Counseling to Lead People from Homosexuality to Heterosexuality.” ... It stated: ‘RESOLVED, the Southern Baptist Convention rejects as heresy any claims that God makes people homosexual.’ The Resolutions Committee refused to allow it to go to the floor for a vote, claiming that it needed ‘more clarification.’

“The President of the SBC, J.D. Greear, claims Christians and Muslims worship the same God. The stunning claims were made in his book Breaking the Islam Code.

“On Aug. 18, 2019, the Southside congregation made a united decision: Because the leadership of the SBC has left and/or is weak on key Biblical positions; and because they have turned a deaf ear to those who have tried to stand against their departure—we, of necessity, leave the convention.”
FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH, STEINHATCHEE, FLORIDA
This church left the SBC in September 2019.

Following is the church’s statement:

“Right now their mission [that of the SBC] and our mission are not in agreement. Not the official, stated mission of the SBC because it is very biblical, but it is the liberal direction of its leadership. It is not what they say, but what they are doing. The promotion of Social Justice and Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality and the softening stance on homosexuality and women in the pulpit.

“We, Fellowship Baptist Church of Steinhatchee, Florida, hereby renounce all membership, affiliation and any other formal association with the Southern Baptist Convention, and by extension, the Florida Baptist Convention and Taylor Baptist Association. We will continue to hold firmly to the Word of God and to historic Baptist doctrine while affirming the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith as our confession.”
GRACE LIFE CHURCH, MUSCLE SHOALS, ALABAMA
This large church announced in October 2019, that it is in the process of “finally and formally separating all connections to the Southern Baptist Convention.” 

On October 20, in the Sunday morning service, Pastor Jeff Noblit preached about this and posted it online at the church’s web site. 

He said the church’s elders are united in the decision. He began the message by saying that “this issue is burning in my heart” and he believes that the stirring is “a righteous indignation.” He said that he has had deep concerns about the Convention for many years, and one of the “straws that broke the camel’s back” was the “rise and embracing and affirming of Beth Moore’s ministry.” He said, “Beth Moore is a charismatic, gifted communicator who has drifted toward considering herself a preacher. She does a lot of internet things where she kind of gets in the face of those of us who are conservative in our doctrine, saying ‘I am preaching at so and so church this Sunday morning,’ kinda like [thumbing her nose] and saying, ‘What are you going to do about it?’ This is a serious issue. Southern Baptists from all ages have held that Scripture is unequivocally clear that women do not hold the office of preaching or pastoring the church, women do not exercise authority by preaching the Word in the congregational meetings of the church. Now we have key, prominent Southern Baptist leaders who are accommodating and blessing this. You want me to tell you why? Because she has a million followers online, she has a huge influence, and the great idol of Southern Baptist life is pragmatism. It’s working and it brings in the money, so hands off. We died to that idol a long time ago. We had the chance to be ‘something’ in the Convention; we had the chance to be a big noise. We were selected to be that, but we would not compromise our convictions to make that happen. So that is a very serious issue to me. You look at church history. You find the churches and the collections of churches that begin to embrace feminism and women in authority and women preachers, and they went to liberalism fast. And we will be no exception.” 

Following are other excerpts from Pastor Noblit’s sermon:

“At the last Southern Baptist Convention, the messengers of the churches voted to include ‘critical race theory and intersectionality’ as tools to help us interpret the Bible. Now if you don’t know what critical race theory and intersectionality mean, among other things it means that if you are born white you are already a racist, it doesn’t matter what you feel or how you act. All of this reparations talk about what happened in generations past, all of the radical political progressive thought is in those terms. In order to appease the culture and get along, they actually voted to say that we will include these unbiblical, God-hating, God-rejecting people and their theories to help us interpret the Bible. It’s not going to happen [here]! I don’t need radical, liberal, atheist and godless people to help me understand the Scriptures. It seems like a small thing, but, brothers, the cow’s out of the barn. I know where this is going. I’ve been watching it for years. ... There’s not one word in the Bible that tells you that schools [seminaries] clean up the church; the churches clean up the church. And the churches don’t have the moral spiritual fiber or fabric or courage and fortitude to do anything about it. 

“All of this is happening like dominoes. In the last couple of weeks, Robert Jeffreys, the pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, Jack Graham, the pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church of Dallas, Jerry Falwell, Jr., president of Liberty University (they are now Southern Baptist), have given their endorsement to Paula White’s ministry. Paula White is a heretic, a three time married pastor who calls herself a prophet. And these men of this stature (Graham is a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention) are saying that they embrace and encourage her work. It is 100%, dyed in the wool, let’s share out constituencies. It’s about money; it’s about wealth; it’s about popularity. It’s hard to retreat from these things. Folks, Paula White couldn’t teach in my Sunday School. She wouldn’t be allowed [to be] a member of this church. Not that I don’t love the lady and wouldn’t reach out to her, but you have to believe certain things to be a member of a church and be in good standing!

“I agree with Dr. Jeffreys at First Baptist Dallas; I agree with Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist about supporting President Donald Trump even though we are very offended and disagree with a lot about him. But his positions deserve our support over the radical, liberal agenda of the Democratic party. If you are a Democrat, I’m sorry, but it’s absolutely gone. The wickedness; the ungodliness; killing a baby up to the moment of birth and even saying we will allow them to die after they are born if the mother decides she wants to abort it. All of this of applauding and pushing, affirming unnatural, perverse sexual practices, all of these gender issues, all of this nonsense. This is what happens when a culture turns its back on God. I wish we had a better instrument than Donald Trump but there is a basis in Scripture to disagree with a lot about him but to agree with his policies. If somebody is breaking into your house, I don’t think you wait for a police offer to show up that can give you his baptismal certificate and tell you he is in good standing at a godly church. You say, ‘Come in here and help me kill this snake, help me fight this enemy.’ That’s the way I view that. So I agree with those men on some things, but if we are going to cooperate together we have got to agree on truth, we have got to agree on the gospel, we have got to agree on what qualifies a person to be a pastor. 

“Even this week Brother Steve is getting calls from churches that are saying, ‘We want to connect with you guys; we can’t go with this any further.’ ... Far and away, biblically speaking, our Baptist churches are gone. They won’t come back to health. There are good Baptist folk scattered in them, don’t misunderstand me, some people that love the Lord, and I thank God for them, but as a whole they’re gone. And we might as well do as Amos did and link up with the people who are trying to do right, stay humble, stay repentant, and go on for the glory of God.

“I was reading the biography of Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd Jones, one of the premier expositional preacher/pastors of the last 150 years. He also lived in London. This was two or three years ago on my study break, I’m reading and praying and thinking, and he made a statement in there that toward the end of his life he had to separate with ministers and ministries he had worked with for decades, because they finally caved in and went with the world. Brothers and sisters, listen to me, I will die first! ... there are things that matter that are being radically compromised, all to the end of numbers and money and popularity. It might be [only] 12 or 27 of us, but we aren’t going down that road. 

“Let me say something to you moms and dads out there. You better raise your children in a place that believes something, believes something that if it’s a good time and it’s a party and everybody is having fun, that’s all that matters. Church isn’t meant to be like the world. It is meant to enjoy the deep, wondrous, glorious treasures of our God who reveals Himself in Scripture. 

“My dear, dear good friend John O. Sims, he and I have been together for decades now, he has basically told his church the exact same thing. He said, ‘Brother Jeff, I’m a fifth generation Southern Baptist. That’s all I’ve known; that’s all my people have known. But even my daddy, who is now 80 years old, has told me, Son, you are doing the right thing.’ 

“So when our leadership, 20 and 30 years ago, was reclaiming the inerrancy of the Scripture, we felt good about that, but I’ve said the whole time, It’s not going to last. You can change all of the schools you want, but until the local churches embrace it and really walk in it, it’s just a matter of time. We have the most atrocious, unsound preaching and teaching in so many of these places.”

“To remind you of what I have pointed out to you several times, the present president of the Southern Baptist Convention is the one who stated that let’s remind ourselves that in the Bible God only whispers about the sin of homosexuality, which is totally wrong. I’m sick and tired of these guys saying, ‘Well, it’s a sin,’ but then they go 20 minutes explaining how that it is really, kinda not a sin anymore. I know where this is going. In Brother Matt’s lifetime there will be homosexual preachers in Southern Baptist churches. Mark my words. I’ve been watching this for four decades. Everything I’ve said was going to happen has happened. ... 

“And ladies I would ask you, as your pastor, there are a lot better ladies out there to listen to than Beth Moore. She’s driven by emotionalism, she’s driven by promoting herself. You don’t need Beth Moore’s teaching. She’s been pointedly asked several times, ‘What’s your position on homosexuality?’ and she will not answer the question. Folks, these are Baptist churches. What has happened to us? If you think there is some wisdom in going down that road, let me say to you, You are in the wrong local church. [We are not going to] back up one inch. We aren’t moving on what God says is sin. We are not moving on moral absolutes. ... How far are we going to go with this culture? Straight to hell? That’s what’s going on. And here’s the great travesty of it. These men hold to an orthodox statement of faith and doctrine, then they practice something different over here. It’s nothing new. Jeroboam in ancient Israel kept all the law of Israel, but he brought the Baal calves in and all of the sensual immoralities and entertainment that went with it. It’s been happening for thousands of years. Folks, our God is holy. He is holy. How dare we bring the filth of the world in and mix them up with the holy things of our God? Look, we are sinners around our God, but to willfully embrace [these things] is pure blasphemy; it is apostasy.”

Another effort to warn U.S. citizens of the imminent and mounting threats to their sovereignty went largely unreported on Monday. A staff report from the U.S. Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations entitled “Threats to the U.S. Research Enterprise: China’s Talent Recruitment Plans” should have been called “China’s plans to rule the World Through the Theft of U.S. Technology.”


The report details “not only the lengths and expense China has gone to in order to steal American intellectual property, but also the shocking fact [that] our own federal agencies have done little to stop their actions despite being aware of [them].”



Its summary is chilling:



Some countries … seek to exploit America’s openness to advance their own national interests. The most aggressive of them has been China.



China primarily does this through its more than 200 talent recruitment plans — the most prominent of which is the Thousand Talents Plan. Launched in 2008, the Thousand Talents Plan incentivizes individuals engaged in research and development in the United States to transmit the knowledge and research they gain here to China in exchange for salaries, research funding, lab space, and other incentives.



China unfairly uses the American research and expertise it obtains for its own economic and military gain. In recent years, federal agencies have discovered talent recruitment plan members who downloaded sensitive electronic research files before leaving to return to China, submitted false information when applying for grant funds, and willfully failed to disclose receiving money from the Chinese government on U.S. grant applications.



This report exposes how American taxpayer funded research has contributed to China’s global rise over the last 20 years. During that time, China openly recruited U.S.-based researchers, scientists, and experts in the public and private sector to provide China with knowledge and intellectual capital in exchange for monetary gain and other benefits.



At the same time, the federal government’s grant-making agencies did little to prevent this from happening, nor did the FBI and other federal agencies develop a coordinated response to mitigate the threat.



These failures continue to undermine the integrity of the American research enterprise and endanger our national security….



China aims to be the world’s leader in science and technology (“S&T”) by 2050.



More than that, China’s communists aim to be the world’s largest industrial power by 2049, the 100th anniversary of their takeover of the Chinese mainland in 1949.



A single example will suffice to reveal the danger. Last week, a Chinese national working for Phillips 66 pleaded guilty to charges that he stole and sent to his communist bosses the company’s next-generation technology with a potential market value exceeding $1 billion. As John Demers, assistant attorney general for the U.S. Justice Department in its National Security Division, noted, “[Hingjin Tan’s] guilty plea continues to fill in the picture of China’s theft of American intellectual property.”



Roger Robinson, a former senior director of international economic affairs under President Ronald Reagan, issued a similar warning to Hillsdale College students in September:



Since adopting the Kissinger policy of engaging with China in the 1970s, our government has operated on the assumption that economic and financial relations with China would lead Beijing to liberalize politically. And since 2001, when we backed China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, the pace at which we have given China access to our best technology and capital and trade markets has accelerated.



Yet China has shown no signs of embracing individual freedoms or the rule of law.



Instead, with our support, the Chinese have launched a massive campaign to become the world’s leading superpower.



We know about the “Belt and Road Initiative,” a strategic undertaking to place huge segments of the world under China’s influence or outright control. We know about “Made in China 2025,” a strategy designed to dominate key technology sectors — from artificial intelligence and quantum computing to hypersonic missiles and 5G.



We know about China’s practice of forced technology transfers: requiring American companies to share their trade secrets and R&D in order to do business in China. We know about China’s predatory trade practices.



We know many of these things only because President Trump has brought them to the forefront of national attention, for which he deserves credit. And the ongoing tariff war is a good thing in the sense that we’ve finally begun to take a stand.



But average U.S. citizens are way behind in their understanding of the existential threat posed by China. Michael Pillsbury tried to warn them back in 2015 with his book The Hundred-Year Marathon — China’s Secret Strategy to Replace America as the Global Superpower. He said, “We believed that American aid to a fragile China whose leaders thought like us would help China become a democratic and peaceful power without ambitions of regional or even global dominance. Every one of the assumptions behind that belief was wrong — dangerously so.”



Pillsbury should know. As a member of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations since the Nixon administration, Pillsbury promoted the concept of a friendly China adopting Western ways if we would only help them sufficiently. In his book, he referred to himself as a former “panda hugger” — a true believer in the Kissinger strategy of helping China gain first-world status and in so doing bring them into the world community with benign intentions.



Pillsbury spent the early part of his book apologizing for his error. Now being referred to as a “panda slugger,” Pillsbury spelled out in detail the purpose and the strategy behind the theft of American technology. In his chapter “A China World Order in 2049,” Pillsbury summarizes how the world will look:



In sum, if the China dream becomes a reality in 2049, the Sinocentric world will nurture autocracies; many websites will be filled with rewritten history defaming the West and praising China; and pollution will contaminate the air in more countries, as developing nations adopt the Chinese model of “grow now, and deal with the environment later” in a race to the bottom in food safety and environmental standards.



As environmental degradation expands, species could disappear, ocean levels will rise, and cancer will spread….



Chinese state-owned monopolies and Chinese-controlled economic alliances will dominate the global marketplace, and one of the world’s mightiest military alliances [NATO] may be controlled by Beijing, which will be able to easily outspend the United States on military research, troop levels, and weapons systems.



Pillsbury repeatedly emphasizes the communists’ reliance on ancient Chinese history and proverbs when dealing with an enemy who is temporarily more powerful. If that enemy can be deceived into helping China become an overwhelming adversary, then Sun Tzu’s maxim — “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting” — will have been fulfilled. This is done, wrote Tzu, by “pretend[ing] inferiority while encourag[ing] his arrogance.” Once China, with the help of its perceived mortal enemy, the United States, has assumed overwhelming military advantage, Tzu celebrates its success: “Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.”



The New American noted in 2015,



The regime ruling mainland China has murdered more human beings than any entity in all of recorded human history. It continues to slaughter millions of unborn children in forced abortions — part of its savage “one-child policy.”… It ruthlessly persecutes Christians and other minorities, as well as anyone and everyone who dares to challenge its tyranny. The regime even harvests body organs from political prisoners and religious dissidents.



As long as the U.S. citizenry remains in ignorance, the communists ruling China will continue to have a clear and ever-expanding advantage over their perceived mortal enemy.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán says that the situation in western Europe means that the continent must look to central European countries like Hungary and the Czech Republic for a bright future.
Orbán gave a speech in Prague on Sunday in memory of the 1989 Velvet Revolution in 1989, which saw the end of Communist rule in Czechoslovakia.
“Thirty years ago we thought that Europe was our future, but today we think we are Europe’s future, and we are ready for this mission,” said Orbán.
The Prime Minister warned that globalists in western Europe are currently in the process of wiping out a European society based on nation states and Christian culture and that central European countries were standing up to this.
“We want to live as free nations, not as provinces or subordinates to empire,” said Orbán, adding, “We are Central European Democrats. Therefore, we must defend the sovereignty of nation states, because if we abandon it, it will mean the end of democracy.”
One way Orbán is trying to rebuild his country is by encouraging its citizens to have children in order to eliminate the need for mass immigration.
Hungary is offering €30,600 to married couples who have three or more children.
A married couple receives the €30,600 as a loan from the government upon getting married. The loan then has to be repaid until the couple has three children. At this point, the debt is completely forgiven.
The impact of pro-family policies in Hungary has been massive.
Abortions dropped from 40,449 to 28,500 from 2010 to 2017, divorces fell from 23,873 in 2010 to 18,600, and marriages increase by a huge 42 percent.

The town of Durham, New Hampshire announced it was removing several Christmassy elements from its annual “holiday celebration” because two people complained about being offended.



Yes, really.



According to CBS Boston, the town’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will undergo changes “in an effort to remove religious overtones.”



The event will be renamed ‘Frost Fest’ while the formal tree lighting ceremony itself will be abolished and Santa will not arrive in a town firetruck as he has in the past.



Christmas wreaths that were placed on lamp posts on Main Street will also be absent.







According to councilor Town Councilor Sally Tobias, the changes were made after one person “said that he had always had a problem with the Christmas tree.”



“There were a couple of people that did express some concerns about how they felt being included,” Tobias said.



So in other words, because two weak-minded idiots complained about being offended, the town voted to take Christmas out of its Christmas celebrations, undoubtedly angering the vast majority of residents.



“To stop cultures and faiths from practicing publicly would be very un-American. I think that’s the beauty of our country,” said Rabbi Berel Slavaticki, who was refused when he asked the town to display a Menorah during the eight days of Hanukkah last year.
