Iran’s Rouhani: ‘Trump’s fate will be no better than Saddam’s fate,’ as Saddam ended up ‘hanging from the gallows’

Iran has become confident and emboldened. The jihadist regime of Iran is salivating at the thought of a Biden administration, during which it is confident that it will have free rein to expand its global adventurism. In its view, America will now “bow” and sanctions against it will end, as the disastrous nuclear deal is reinstated. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has now put President Trump and former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in the same bracket:
“By the grace of God, we won, and the day came when we saw that crazy man hanging from the gallows. On that day, the people saw their final victory [manifest]. And Trump’s fate will be no better than Saddam’s fate.”
“We won” is also how a Biden victory is seen in Iran.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a December 23, 2020 cabinet meeting that was broadcasted on IRINN TV (Iran) that Saddam Hussein and President Trump are two crazy individuals who have imposed war upon the Iranian people. He predicted that President Trump’s fate will be no better than Saddam’s fate.
Hassan Rouhani: “The truth is that in our history, there were two crazy individuals who waged war against our nation. The first crazy person was Saddam [Hussein], who waged war against us. The second crazy person is Trump, who has waged a different war against us. [Saddam] waged a military war against us, and [Trump] an economic war. We won the military war. We stood hand-in-hand and side-by-side. We were pure of heart and united — one voice. By the grace of God, we won, and the day came when we saw that crazy man hanging from the gallows. On that day, the people saw their final victory [manifest]. And Trump’s fate will be no better than Saddam’s fate.”
