A video showing a journalist inside the Houston home of a suspected New Orleans terrorist is drawing attention from lawmakers. The New York Post recorded the footage just 37 hours after the deadly car attack on Bourbon Street.
President Trump released a powerful new video on Christmas Eve 2024. The video footage is from Christmas 2018 and is narrated by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the former White House Spokeswoman at the time.

A mentally ill Arizona man with previous felony charges has been arrested after threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump.
According to court documents, Manuel Tamayo-Torres has been accused of threatening to kill Trump, as shown in a number of concerning videos posted online.
His mugshot and age has not yet been released to the press by the authorities. Additionally, some sources say that he was arrested in Southern California, while other sources allege that he was arrested in Arizona, where he resides.
Police stated that Tamayo-Torres posted videos on a “near-daily basis” accusing Trump and members of the president-elect’s family of kidnapping and sex-trafficking his children. It is unclear if the arrested man even has children.
A recently posted video was shared on November 21st, where he declared that Trump’s “whole family is going to die,” according to the charging documents.
Reports stated that the court documents did not directly identify Trump, only referring to him as “Individual 1.” However, court documents identify “Individual 1” as a public figure, “former” president, and the current president-elect.
Court documents note that last Thursday, Tamayo-Torres said in a video posted on Facebook, “[Individual 1] you’re gonna die, [Individual 1], your son’s gonna die. Your whole family is going to die, [Individual 1]. This is reality now for you. This is the only reality you have in your future, [Individual 1], dying.”
Tamayo-Torres also threatened to shoot Trump in another video and held up “what appears to be a white AR 15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine inserted into it.”
“You’re Caucasian nothing,” he continued in the video. “You’ll earn nothing. Aryan money, that’s all you have. You’re a low-life scum. I’ll spit in your f—–g face motherf—er, and if they give me a chance, I’m going to f—–g bury you myself.”
Previously, on August 23rd, Tamayo-Torres posted yet another video, but this time, from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The same location where Trump was holding an afternoon rally. During the rally, Trump announced that he will form an independent commission to investigate assassination attempts.
He was charged with one count of making threats against the incoming president-elect and four counts of making false statements during the purchase of a firearm.
Back in 2003, Tamayo-Torres was found guilty of felony assault and given a five-year sentence in a California state prison. According to the court documents, his ex-wife served him with an order of protection last year.

During a pre-recorded video segment that was sent over to the Al Smith charity dinner on Thursday, Kamala Harris tried to poke fun at Donald Trump by making jokes about the 2020 election and his previous comments about Detroit.
The Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, which is commonly known as the Al Smith Dinner, is an annual white tie event held in New York City.
The yearly event brings together politicians and business leaders from both sides of the political spectrum, including mayors, governors, legislators, and presidential hopefuls, to exchange friendly jabs, donate money, and enjoy a delicious meal. Its primary goal is to generate money for Catholic charities in the Archdiocese of New York, which assists women and children in need.
“Since its first dinner in 1946, the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner has raised millions of dollars for New York’s most vulnerable women and children. The Dinner has featured renowned cultural, business, and political figures, including most major party presidential nominees during election years since 1960.
While campaigning in Wisconsin, Harris announced that she would be unable to physically attend the dinner, a major blow to Democrats right before the 2024 election, as every single presidential candidate has historically attended the event in the past.
Instead, she instead addressed the crowd through a video in which comedian and actress Molly Shannon played her longtime character, Catholic school girl Mary Katherine Gallagher, from the 1999 film “Superstar” and the long-running skit show “Saturday Night Live.”

Comedian Jim Gaffigan made fun of the Vice President after the crowd gave a dismal applause once it ended.
Harris: “So tell me something; I’m giving a speech. Do you have some thoughts about what I might say tonight?”
Shannon: “Don’t lie. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
Harris: “Indeed, especially thy neighbor’s election results,” calling out Donald Trump and referencing the 2020 election.
Shannon: “Don’t say anything negative about Catholics.”
Harris: “I would never do that, no matter where I was. That would be like criticizing Detroit in Detroit,” taking another swing at Trump, this time over recent comments he made that disparaged Detroit’s extremely high rates of aggravated assault, robbery, and murder. Detroit, Michigan, was voted in the top three most dangerous places in the U.S. this year, according to U.S. News & World Reports.
Shannon: “Does it bother you that Trump guy insults you all the time?”
Harris: “You should never let anyone tell you who you are, you tell them who you are,” the Democrat nominee added, hypocritically acting as if her entire campaign has not been based solely on insulting Trump, rather than discussing her proposals and policies.
Shannon then walks away from the videographer’s view, and Harris delivers a direct address to all of the white tie dinner’s attendees.
“The Al Smith dinner provides a rare opportunity to set aside partisanship and come together to do some good by supporting the tremendous charitable work of the Catholic church,” Harris said. “In the spirit of tonight’s dinner, let us recommit to reaching across divides, to seeking understanding and common ground,” she added. “And in honor of the great Al Smith, let us fight to build a better future with faith in God, our country and in each other.”
Meanwhile, Catholic outlets and organizations have already expressed strong disapproval of Harris, criticizing her political stances and voting record as fundamentally opposed to core Catholic values.
“Harris has consistently promoted abortion, scrutinized Catholic judicial nominees, and opposed pro-life pregnancy centers and activists. She has also embraced gender ideology, as well as transgender and contraception mandates that have, at times, jeopardized religious freedom,” the National Catholic Register reported.
As a U.S. senator, Harris also voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have required that babies who survive a botched abortion receive the same medical care to which all other infants at that stage are given.
In a press conference this past Tuesday, President Trump read from two of the Crime Prevention Center Research Center’s latest research reports. One report shows how violent crime fell by 17 percent during the Trump administration and then soared by 43 percent under Biden. A second report shows how law enforcement in the U.S. has collapsed. We show how the drop in arrest rates over the last few years from 2020 to 2022 is without precedent, and that is particularly true for the largest cities.
The arrest rates for violent and property crimes have never been anywhere near as low as they are now.
By the way, I got to talk to President Trump for a few minutes when he traveled to Bozeman, Montana, on August 9th. 2024. He told me he appreciated my research on crime, gun control, and vote fraud. After the assassination attempt, I was a little concerned about what impact that might have on Trump’s views on gun control, but my brief meeting with me gave me confidence that his views hadn’t changed.
In these recent speeches, Trump stated:
“And we had a couple of instances last night where things were mentioned. So I got it. Did crime rise under Trump and fall under Biden? They say it rose under Trump and and they go, "No, the opposite is true. Take a look at this here. It said, Is it true? Did crime rise under Trump and fall under Biden? No. Comma, the opposite is true. This was a study group that went out and didn't care, they did the numbers and there was another one that was a historical comparison of the collapse of law enforcement in US cities, the drop in arrest rates over the last few years is without precedent. Here is yet another example of Democrats falsely claiming that crime has dropped under Biden. If they claimed REPORTED crime fell, they would at least have a credible claim.
Violent crime has dropped to its lowest level in more than 50 years.
And crime will keep coming down when we put a prosecutor in the Oval Office—instead of a convicted felon.
Trump: “her administration’s crime statistics show she’s presided over a 43% increase in violent crime. These are all government numbers, 43% increase in violent crime. I bet the people behind me don’t have anything like that. It just gets better. It doesn’t get worse, including a 58% increase in rape, 89% increase in aggravated assault, and a 56% increase in robbery. The crime in America, the fact is, is out of control.”

Laying out what he calls the Left’s 200-year war on America, Greenfield described how the Left’s war on America’s constitutional freedoms began at the same time as the Constitution did.
“Is America doomed? "So many people come up to me and ask, can we get past this?” the Shillman Fellow told audience members. “That is part of the reason why I wrote, ‘Domestic Enemies: The Founding Fathers’ Fight Against The Left." This is not a historical trivia book, though there is plenty of history to be found there if you’re so inclined, this is a book about how we fought the Left from the very beginning.”
Greenfield described his goal of telling the story of the American Left from the very beginning. “Why does the Left want to be invisible? Because if they’re invisible, they can’t be identified. You can’t charge them with being the authors of our misfortunes. That's why they keep changing their names. They’re progressives, socialists, liberals, leftists or more recently wokes. But who are they really?”
Today’s conservatives, he argued, could learn from the fathers of our country.
“George Washington, sick, ill, toward the end of his life, becomes the only president to command troops in the field when he rides out against a Democrat insurrection organized by allies of the French Revolution,” Greenfield described. “The Founding Fathers were not afraid to confront the Left. They were not afraid to fight for our country.”
Greenfield then went on to describe how the Democratic Societies were created by radical agents of the French Revolution, which Washington described as an enemy of the Constitution who sought to destroy it, then went on to give their name to what would become the Democratic Party.
“We have been fighting this for over 200 years and we are still here.”
